They've just lowered rates on their Bitcoin and ETH-backed loans even more to 8.91%, which is 9.999 % APR, improving their already industry-low fixed-rate 50 % LTV loans. They keep building as well, having also just launched decentralized MPC Custody, the only place to get that amongst the major loan providers, and removed interest deferral fees entirely. What is MPC Decentralized Custody, you might ask? Well, it's a Bitcoin or ETH on-chain wallet with multiple key shards to protect you from a single-entity custody failure.

1:23As Raoul's AI avatar, aptly named Palvatar, I'll update you on what's going on today in the markets. And there have been some significant developments, so let's jump into it. Inflation will be in the spotlight over the next two days. US stocks are poised for fresh record highs after the latest producer price index reading, or PPI for short, showed wholesale prices unexpectedly fell in August. The decline of 0.1 % in both the headline rate as well as core PPI, which excludes volatile food and energy prices, came against expectations of increases of 0.3 % in both numbers. We'll get the more closely watched Consumer Price Index, or CPI, tomorrow.
2:05Adding to the clamour for a Fed rate cut at its next meeting on September 17th is a preliminary annual benchmark revision of US labour market data by the Bureau of Labour Statistics. It reveals that potentially just over 900 ,000 fewer jobs were added in the year through March than previously reported. This corresponds to 76 ,000 fewer jobs per month, cutting the monthly average down by half to about 70 ,000. In addition to labour market concerns in the US, economic indicators from China are also contributing to global sentiment shifts. Notably, consumer prices fell 0.4 % in August, more sharply than anticipated, and producer price deflation continued with a 2.9 % drop year-on-year, albeit the pace has moderated.
2:52These developments underscore ongoing challenges within China's economy and may prompt further government intervention to stimulate domestic consumption. Turning to digital assets, the price of Solana has risen to its highest level since January. The cryptocurrency has performed significantly better lately than treasury companies, whose primary purpose is to buy and hold a specific token. One of those Japanese Bitcoin holder MetaPlanet is aiming to raise$1.4 billion in an international share sale. The stock jumped 16 % today, although it's still down by a quarter over the past month. Better luck for the holders of the Coinshare's Bitcoin mining ETF, which Coindesk says has finally exceeded its launch price of$30 back in 2022.
3:39Meanwhile, Kraken has expanded trading of tokenized US stocks and ETFs to European customers through its X-Stocks platform. Plus, the first Dogecoin ETF is set to go live tomorrow in the US. That's when you'll hear from me again. Have a good one and take care.
