0:40welcome back to the weekly wrap-up i'm nico burga your host and i am joined as always by bijan malecki our resident degen bijan i noticed this week you've been rocking the mfr icon a lot i have yeah uh what's going on in that community where uh you made the switch uh from mfr uh to MF-er from Sappy Seal. Not officially, you know, just on some, you know, PFPs. But, you know, I love MF-ers. It's, you know, the meme super cycles, you know, and kind of picking off MF-ers are, you know, an original type of NFT meme. I love them. They have a very thin floor. I saw a nice opportunity to own, you know, an OG piece of art and community in the NFT space.

1:28So I just jumped on it. Oh, smart decision. Smart decision. I was pleased to see it earlier this week. And it seems like there's been a lot of, you know, good news coming out of that community based on what I'm seeing on crypto Twitter here and there. But let's get to the matter at hand. I wanted to show off a couple new features we got going here, Bijan, that we just released this week. So I'm going to go away from our library where you can see some of the content and trade ideas we'll be just talking about today and hit up the ideas because now whenever you hover over any of the trade ideas, you can see the current price as well as the trade idea description.

2:06Very cool. Seems small, but very, very helpful. The other thing we've added in is this ability. You just click on the trophy and you're right at the leaderboard. We're actually going to be talking about Solana Cypher Capital's trade idea in a little bit. The other thing we've added is not just the competition, but now you can see the whole community's trade ideas and where everybody stacks up. Solana Sapphire Capital has two, both of which are closed, but we'll get into that in a little bit. And then the other type of things we wanted to highlight is we've added some new fields during trade idea creation, including limit price and clear limit order tax.

2:49You'll now have all the details at hand. And we've also added an entry price at which your idea was executed. So there's no confusion between the set limit price and the price at which your trade actually went through. Bijan, with that said, should we get into maybe our first bit of content that we want to highlight this week? And I guess I'm actually up because for me, it is David Duong's piece he did yesterday for us on Coinbase's quarterly report, why they see a maturing market in crypto, very heavy with charts and all of those great things, and really makes an amazing pop-down, as well as bottom-up, overview of where the crypto market is at the moment.

3:40Bijan, what about you? What was one of your favorite pieces? Yeah, and I love that you mentioned Coin because that's, well, we'll get to in a little bit, but there was a trade idea that I liked as well in regards to them. But one of my favorite pieces of content this week was that how to thrive in the exponential age on the Journeyman channel there. I mean, if you guys just look at the comments on this, you'll know exactly why I loved it. It's absolutely mind-blowing, fascinating, kind of felt like I was in a little bit of a sci-fi movie while watching it as well. And then, oh my God, Nico, that notebook LM stuff is mind-blowing.

4:21It's just so incredible. They're getting so close to matching that human cadence, the pauses, the tone, the laughter even in when they speak. I just think it was very interesting to see. And I think this stuff is going to be happening a lot faster than we were anticipating. Absolutely. And just to note, that episode was actually a re-release of Raoul's quarterly State of the Union that he does for The Exponentialist. If you don't have The Exponentialist, there's an amazing add-on product, as you can see by Raoul's talk there. David Mattson also releases a monthly report. Raoul and David sit down once a month.

7:01That might be help with AI, believe it or not. I'm trying to remember Monday morning. It's Friday. A lot has happened in the last four days. And I believe that was AI's suggestion. So thank you to our chat GBT future overlords. But Bijan, what's another one that got your attention this week? Might be a little biased on this one, but it's, is this pump for real? It was our Monday TA session with Chris Bullock. One of my favorite parts of this show is how interactive it is with the audience. And we're doing everything in real time. Really speaks to Chris's knowledge and his skill set. And he's able to take questions in real time and coins he's never heard of in real time.

7:45And really kind of give an analysis on it through the charts. So I love that. And we had a member this week who joined us for the first time in Discord. And, you know, was a member in the audience. Shout out to Banana. And they asked us to look into a token that wasn't on our radar yet. And I think that's also what makes the show so much fun and informative. You know, we learn where Chris is, you know, imparting knowledge to people, but we're getting it right back. And everyone's benefiting from that. Was that token super? Yes. Oh, yeah, because that one sticks out like a sore thumb in the AI summary.

8:18I was like, huh, OK, well, I definitely need to go back and watch that one then. Already, my last one isn't a video. It's actually Julian's macro investing business cycle update just from yesterday. I really think it's worth checking out. He really goes into why he thinks there's precedent at the end of the day for the Fed to issue further rate cuts. Definitely not in the, you know, what is the word? Definitely not the popular opinion by any means. But Julian makes a great case. And as you can see, it is filled with charts galore. Julian even made a lovely joke in the opening, which is 29 charts should be enough to make his case.

9:05For those that don't have Plus or the macro investing tool, that is classic Julian. We have done videos where he's come in with 90 charts, but they are all equally important and amazing. So Bijan, anything else content wise you wanted to cover? Yeah, so I was mentioning my watch list earlier, and I have a few other things on my watch list. Rectivision, I haven't gotten a chance to watch it today yet, but it's going to be on my watch list for this weekend, as well as Jamie Kutz's deep dive into Taunt and Telegram. I think that's one that a lot of people, including myself, are going to be interested to hear about, especially after last month's craziness with the CEO.

9:49I'm really going to be interested to listen to hear what's going on with Tom and Telegram as a whole. Yeah, it's a great interview and I really recommend everybody check it out. And just a reminder that is for pro crypto only. So if you're interested and don't have pro crypto, feel free to upgrade. All right. Let's take a quick look at the leader board before we get into the actual trade ideas. We've had another change since last week. As noted earlier, Solana Cypher Capital has come in. He has knocked David Graham down to two and Francois down to three. I have to say, Francois might still hold the record longest at number one.

10:27We'll see how it is once we end it all. But Bijan, why don't you tell me some trade ideas that stood out to you this week? Yeah, well, let's start with number one on the leaderboard, Right. Trade is up nearly 150 percent since since he put it in by Oklo. OK, L.O. And really quickly, Nico, one of the things I really love about some of the new additions to the platform is when you hover over the ticker, not only does it tell you the current price, but actually gives you some information about what that what that coin stock, whatever it is, what it is. Right. So sometimes when you're seeing tickers, you have no idea what they are.

11:06I think that's a pretty nice little summary about what it is. And you can dive more into that. So great feature added by our team there. I like the reasoning behind this trade as well. Nuclear is representing a cost-effective and clean energy source to increase power for AI data centers. So Solana Sphere or Cypher, not sure which one it is, but I thought that was great trade reasoning. And then obviously the number one on the leaderboard backs it up as well. Absolutely. Definitely one that everybody should be looking at. And I really appreciated his reasoning as well. And we've already seen what Microsoft is taking over Three Mile Island.

11:48All of, you know, its nuclear is definitely coming up again now that AI is here to stay. What's the next one you want to discuss? Yeah, next one is Long Coin from Michael Costa. Yeah. Awesome. All right. So I like this one, you know, because he's got his reasoning behind. He's looking at Coinbase as a proxy to the entire crypto market, which I think is a pretty good idea. And more specifically, though, in his reasoning, I think he's betting on base growing and that activity and adoption on the base ecosystem growing, which will benefit coin. So I do like that play. You know, BASE has been talking about crypto, you know, the BASE summer, if you will.

12:34And I think Coinbase has a lot of interest in making sure BASE develops. So I do like this call as well from Michael. Absolutely. And if you want to hear more about BASE, David Duong and Ash get into it yesterday. So definitely worth checking out that as well. All righty. I guess that leaves us with a classic Bonk. Yes. We're back with Bonk. I'm so happy. My back may be worth something. Listen, I'm a D-Gen, so I'm going to be biased towards D-Gen plays. No, absolutely right. I would also like to say at some point, we will have to figure out how to handle meme coin descriptions because it's not exactly like we're being provided with them.

13:18I would like to think this description would be the power of Bonk the dog or something. But Bijan, tell us what you like about this besides the fact it's Bonk. Yeah, you know, I love those meme coin plays. But listen, at the end of the day, this is a trading competition. And sometimes if you want to win, you have to swing for the fences. And I think when you're making those meme coin plays in a competition, I think those give you the highest risk, high reward in real life, but also in a competition. So if you want to, you know, kind of throw up a Hail Mary, throw in an American football term for you guys to win the competition, I think a meme coin is a nice play to make on that.

14:00Well said. Well said. Before we get to key takeaways, just wanted to check in on events. Obviously, like last week, we talked about the great London event that some of our team was able to attend, including Rao. I believe you mentioned there's a Dubai event coming up. Is that correct? Yes, we do have something in the works for Dubai at the end of this month. So check your emails early next week. You should be getting some more information in your inbox for those of you that are in the area and want to attend or for those of you that might say, hey, let me just fly out there and attend. So there will be some information coming via email and in Discord early next week about those details.

14:42I love it. All right. What are your key takeaways from this week? I think my key takeaway, I'm going to kind of relate back to Raoul's video on thriving in the exponential age. I think technology is growing very fast. And I think we can easily get left behind if we're not paying attention. You know, this, you know, might a year or two, five years down the road, it might not seem like it's right around the corner. But, you know, when that time comes, it'll have happened so fast. So I think it's important to keep on top of this stuff and figure out how we can make AI work for us and not us, you know, kind of working to keep up with AI.

15:26And I think that's one of my key takeaways this week. Very well said. I could not agree more. Mine this week is twofold. We'll get to the fund recommendation in a sec. But I just also want to, besides the great work Andreas and Mikkel do on Macro Monday, it's also been announced they are joining ProPrypto along with their entire team. And we've been getting their reports out this week. And it has been an absolute pleasure reading them all. This is going to sound like sacrilege to many here. But I'm becoming more interested in macro than crypto sometimes. And Mikkel and Andreas and the rest of the team are a huge help in helping me navigate that landscape.
