If you're enjoying the show, a quick five star rating goes a long way. It helps us grow and keep these conversations coming with the best guests in the world. Thanks a lot.

0:25Kris Bullock:happy wednesday everyone welcome back to another edition of trading the markets with a i we have a great show for you today but before we get into it i want to remind you all that real vision is launching the arena a new trade idea competition for march 16th through march 31st You can check out realvision.com forward slash arena for more details. We're giving out$25 ,000 in prizes. You'll need to be an RV Connect member and above to join. So again, head over to realvision.com forward slash arena and get involved in the trade competition. So we've got another alpha packed show for you guys today.

1:11Kris Bullock:Of course, it's all AI. We're going to check in on the latest headlines in the AI space, check in on how individual sectors are doing, check in some prices on how the top AI stocks are performing. And later in the show, Chris is going to walk us through prompting AI for your research, some of the best prompts you can use, some good practices that you'll want to keep in mind when you're prompting AI for research. And I'll walk you through a personal dashboard that I built using OpenClaw. So we're going to get into all of that today. But first, let's get into the headlines. So coming in across the press, Amazon, as you guys may have known, they had some AWS outages.

1:58Kris Bullock:Apparently, it was because AI-assisted code messed up. So Amazon's SVP basically called for all mid-level engineers now require senior approval when using AI-assisted code. Well, you know, that's what happens when you got outages. And Meta acquires Maltbook. If you guys will remember, a couple of weeks ago now went viral where the AI was posting on social media about their human counterparts. Well, Facebook just acquired or Meta just acquired that. It's called Maltbook. And we're going to check in on Anthropic versus the Pentagon. Legal experts say the Anthropic has a strong case challenging the Pentagon blacklisting.

2:45Kris Bullock:And people are now using AI to replace their doctors. What is going on in this world? Happy Wednesday, Chris. How are you doing today?

2:56Bijan Maleki:Doing well, doing well. Yeah, no, lots of good stuff out there. The one article I want to start with, actually, and I know you and I can both completely relate to this, is this story published by the Harvard Business Review that shows that workers are constantly bouncing between multiple AI tools and experiencing major burnout and major decision fatigue. And I know it's hilarious because like, we all think AI is supposed to make our jobs easier and make our lives more efficient and make everything move better. But, but, you know, as you know, you can attest to both of us, we get access to all these amazing, powerful tools, and we find ourselves being so much more efficient.

3:35Bijan Maleki:And we feel like super humans, that we just are constantly thinking, what else can I do? What else can I build? What else can I create, you know, and we find ourselves doing 10 times more work than less, you know, just trying to make it easier. to leverage all this amazing technology. And I'm not surprised to see this at all. I know there's been times where I've personally been a little fried, you know, from vibe coding all day. And yeah, so I'm sure this is a thing. And I guarantee you by the end of this year, there's going to be some like official, you know, psychological diagnosis for this type of AI burnout, you know, syndrome that people are experiencing.

4:13Kris Bullock:Yeah, as someone, Chris, as you and I have been in the weeds with this as someone who is literally vibe coding on Saturday for over 12 hours. I feel it. And it came, it got to a point where, cause I started in the morning, right. I woke up, had my coffee started and I went through the whole afternoon. And then I got finished my task that I'd set out for the day. And then it got to the point where like, well, I want to see what else I can do. And then I went back to one of the tasks and I spoke to my open claw and I said, okay, we, we went over, you know, kind of how I want the market Intel report, but what else can you do.

4:44Kris Bullock:And then, you know, we just went and then I went down another rabbit hole. So one thing I want to say about burnout, guys, it is real. You don't feel it in the moment. In the moment, you're excited, right? And you're powering through everything. You feel super productive. It hits you later after everything's had a chance to register. And all of a sudden, you're like, oh my God, I don't feel like doing anything. That's how burnout works. So get ahead of it. You know, maybe instead of 12 hours, maybe do like four or six hours, spread it out by day. Um, so baby steps guys. Yeah.

5:18Bijan Maleki:Make sure you, you know, add some walks in, uh, add some workouts in, you know, make sure you're, you're eating healthy and just kind of, uh, limiting your time, you know, because yeah, it can, it's easy to get swept up in it. I mean, I'll, I'll be the first to admit, you know, and so, um, just, you know, a reminder to be a little more cognizant of, of that because yeah, it's, uh, sometimes it's, it's, it's like, it's like a drug, you know, I mean, you just get hooked. You're just like, wow, I feel so powerful. Like if you create something or if you conduct this research and you generate this amazing report and it is, it's, you know, it's pretty wild.

5:55So yeah.

5:56Kris Bullock:So be wary out there, guys. You know, another thing I thought was interesting was the AWS news that came out, right? Because a week or two weeks ago now, I guess, Jack Dorsey laid off over 40 % of block, right? because citing AI has basically replaced their jobs. So I thought it was very interesting to see this side of things where people are using AI and we're thinking it's going to replace jobs, but turns out it's not quite there yet. It still is going to require human oversight. And the reason I wanted to highlight this story is because I think it speaks to how powerful it is for you to use AI tools with your job, right?

6:44Kris Bullock:And obviously you want to make sure you monitor it because it can still make mistakes, but it's using it in tandem with what you're doing every day, not replacing you. I think the fear can get overblown. AI is coming for jobs. It makes for a great headline, makes for great clickbait to get people to read the article. But in theory or in practice, I just don't think that's how it's going to play out. Chris, what do you think here?

7:13Bijan Maleki:Yeah, I agree. I think certainly at this scale, humans aren't going anywhere. It's one thing to kind of vibe code a dashboard on the weekend. And it's OK if it doesn't look right. And you have to try 17 different times to kind of get everything refined. But when you're dealing with an enterprise-grade production environment that impacts literally millions of people in businesses globally, obviously, the stakes are significantly higher. So yeah, humans are going to, of course, always be, I think, in that loop and necessary to make sure that everything continues to work right.

7:48Kris Bullock:Yeah, absolutely. So just keep that in mind as we go. And another thing too, with the Anthropic versus the Pentagon, that's going to be a huge battle, I guess you will, for just AI regulation in general. So that's something we'll want to... It doesn't sound as fun, a lawsuit and going up against the government. Well, maybe it depends on where you are, but it is important for the grand scheme of AI and how it's going to be used and it's all of its use cases. So I think this is definitely one we'll want to keep an eye on and see how it develops?

8:24Bijan Maleki:Yeah, honestly, not at all surprised to see this. I think it was the first time in history where the government had actually deemed a US company a supply chain risk. I mean, really, this rule is designed to prevent things like terrorism financing of companies and things like that. But to do this to a US-based company who was operating in its own best interest, you know, is totally unprecedented. And I honestly don't think they have a case. And I won't be surprised at all to see Anthropic come out on the winning side of this.

8:57Kris Bullock:Yeah, I think they will. But, well, again, we'll see. So a quick break in your regular programming. If you're serious about your future, grab my free report called Prepare for 2030. I think you've got five years to make as much money as possible. and this guide will help you navigate what's coming. The link is in the description. Download it now. Let's check in. Let's see how the markets are doing. I know you have a new, it's not new, but I know one that we haven't really discussed on this show, but you have that you wanted to discuss. So let's dive into it, see what you got for us.

9:35Bijan Maleki:Yeah, I wanted to talk about Oracle, actually, which is interesting because as we know, Oracle is first and foremost a software company, a SaaS company. And they've been very much caught up in the whole tech sector, software sector, just nuke through the floor. And they're right there with it. I mean, you can see their chart basically since September has been down only. But I think they're different. They had their earnings call yesterday. They significantly beat their call. Their revenue is up 22 % year on year. And they're undergoing a major pivot into AI infrastructure. So they're separating themselves from the rest of the software pack.

10:16Bijan Maleki:And they're actually building out massive data centers and building out massive IT infrastructure and providing GPU compute, AI compute, and things like that. So they're branching into more of a hardware-based, infrastructure-based business, and they're sinking tons of money into it, you know, their own CapEx, basically. And so I think they're going to start to pivot. And I think we're, you know, already they're up, they were up over 10 % on the day. They're down a little bit right now, as we can see. But based off of what their pivot is, and their, you know, the earnings call, and the fact that they're still making tons of money, I don't lump these guys in with the rest of the software crew, your Salesforce's and your Adobe's and your SAP and things like that.

11:01Bijan Maleki:I think that these guys have a unique position and I think that they're going to continue to benefit. And I think that they're very, very oversold right now. We can see as a result of, again, getting swept up in this major, major decline in the broader tech software sector. So I expect this to rebound pretty good. And we can already see, again, it's up heavily on the day, but the underlying fundamentals, I think, have changed for Oracle specifically, and they are unique amongst that crowd. So I'm going to keep my eye on them for sure, because I see positive things ahead there.

11:36Kris Bullock:Is this keep your eye on it to wait for more indications that it's an entry, or is it I'm entering now and keeping my eye on it?

11:47Bijan Maleki:Well, I mean, there's a couple ways to look at that certainly the fundamentals have changed with Oracle specifically. So knowing that getting in now, you could be buying at a good level, but you have to weigh that against the broader psychological impact of just the whole software sector continuing to drop and just the markets themselves, like the actual S &P, the actual NASDAQ aren't doing that well right now. They're all kind of rolling over. So if there's a broader market dip across the board, it's highly likely that Oracle and everybody else will get caught up in that in the short term. So it's kind of a scale in thing, maybe.

12:25Bijan Maleki:It's like, we've seen the fundamentals change. Maybe now is a good time to get an entry level position in it. And then if things drop further, you can decide at that point. I wouldn't say go all in right now, but definitely it's one to watch and maybe definitely, like I said, a starter position and then build depending on which way the market goes in the next one to one to three months. But yeah.

12:49Kris Bullock:Yeah. And Oracle is a giant too. So pretty good call there or good spot. Now, Chris, you were also a fan of Palantir as well. So why don't we check in on them and see how they're doing? Yeah.

13:04Bijan Maleki:Palantir is doing well too. They're a little bit ahead of Oracle essentially in that they also underwent the same dip because they too were sort of lumped into that same software situation, but they've actually bounced previously and are continuing to run. Now they're, they're retracing a little bit back to their, their 10 day moving average, but overall, I think the structure still looks good and it's, it's nowhere close to breaking down. And they're benefiting too, from a lot of the military activity that's going on there, you know, their operating systems are in a lot of the military stuff, a lot of the drones, technology, drone technology, and things like that.

13:39Bijan Maleki:So they're going to continue to benefit from both the AI side of things and the military side of things at the same time. So I think that this is going to continue to be a strong play too, because they too are not just a software company, again, like those other ones I mentioned. So yeah.

13:58Kris Bullock:Yeah, Palantir is just super interesting for all the reasons you mentioned. You capture the AI stuff and you capture all like the government contract stuff outside of AI.

14:07Bijan Maleki:Exactly, exactly.

14:09Kris Bullock:Another one that we've liked, And I believe it was last week or it could have been the week before where we found out that they were basically involved with LLMs. I believe it was Claude, if I'm not mistaken, was Vertiv, right? The VV or Venice, VVV. Oh, Venice.

14:28Bijan Maleki:Yeah. Yes. Well, Vertiv too, but yeah. Yeah. Let's look at Venice. So Venice, here's Venice. Where is it? Oh, I just had it. Yeah, Venice is doing really well. They actually had a nice retracement back to their 20 day moving average. I remember posting in the discord a couple days ago, I was like, Oh, Venice came back down to its 20 day, this is probably a good buying opportunity. And sure enough, you know, it's two green candles later. So typically, anytime that happens, that's, you know, you can see it, that's, that's always a good place to buy. And sure enough, that's true. So I continue to think that this will do well.

15:06Bijan Maleki:The story was the other day, I don't think we talked about it on this show. I think we talked about it on our Monday show. But basically, I read a report that Venice has become one of the go-to AI backends for OpenClaw. Like a lot of people are using Venice AI for their kind of everyday AI agent tasks. And then they're using things like Opus for their coding tasks. But Venice has become one of the primary default go-to backend AIs for OpenClaw. And to use it, you have to basically buy Venice tokens and stake them. And that gives you access to the Venice API. And so there's constant demand basically for these tokens in order for people to use the backend.

15:54Bijan Maleki:So I can continue to see this running because as long as that stays, which I think OpenClaw, I don't think that's going anywhere. That seems to be only gaining in market share and, you know, things like that. So as OpenClaw does, so too does Venice. And I think that this, you know, has the potential to run. This market cap is actually still really, really low. I think it's only, last time I looked, it was like 40 million or no, 300 and some million, I think it was. So it's like, yeah, lots of room to grow, basically. Yeah. And decoupled. Sorry. No, go ahead. I was going to say, and it's going to cause it to be decoupled from the rest of the alt space that just are these random tokens that are just kind of crypto-centric.

16:39Bijan Maleki:This is very much AI-centric, real-world-centric. People are using this for their open claw agents, which has nothing to do with alt season and alt coins and things like that. So, yeah. Sorry.

16:50Kris Bullock:Yeah, it goes back to kind of use cases and actual utility kind of being the new meta, right? And that's exactly what Venice is. And as I'm using OpenClaw, I'm burning through all my Claude credits and then re-upping the credits. Something like this is a very attractive alternative because it's definitely going to be cheaper. And guys, as you get addicted to this stuff and you start seeing your credits go down, you're like, wait, I'm not done, though. I need to re-up credits. So I can really see that being a nice flywheel for the Venice ecosystem as well as it kind of as OpenClaw starts gaining more traction.

17:27Kris Bullock:I see that being definitely a very attractive use case for them.

17:32Bijan Maleki:I actually just got set up on it yesterday with my open claw. I bought a bunch of Venice and DM tokens and staked them and connected it to my open claw yesterday.

17:45Kris Bullock:And how's your burn rate been on those tokens so far? Are you finding it? Are you using up more than you anticipated? How's that working out?

17:54Bijan Maleki:Well, honestly, I haven't had a chance to really dig into it. It took me a little bit to kind of get it running and get it integrated with Telegram the way I wanted it to. So I haven't had a chance to really, you know, bang on it yet. So I don't know, to be honest.

18:09Kris Bullock:Oh, we'll have an update, hopefully, for you guys next week. Chris will have a full week of going through it. Hopefully he doesn't burn himself out in the process. Right. We can see. Don't burn yourself out, Chris. Keep that article open as you're playing around. Yeah, totally. Chris, one of the things that we wanted to talk about to their showcase today as part of the alpha portion of our show was, because a lot of people use LLMs for a variety of things, vibe coding, in-depth research, just questions and answers, all of that, right? But I think to get the most out of the AI and also kind of save your credits, especially if you're using OpenClar or something like that, and you're hooked up to the API, is having efficient prompts and getting what you want out of it to get you the answer, the closest answer for the first time.

Read the full transcript

19:03Kris Bullock:So you're not like typing like seven different things to get back one answer, right? So I think that's a very valuable thing when digesting or learning about LLMs and using them. So why don't you kind of talk us through what you got?

19:17Bijan Maleki:Yeah, so I wanted to kind of start with just this article I found that is directly tied to it. Basically, this major hedge fund just published this deep dive on their new applied AI team, revealing that they successfully integrated a custom AI system using ChatGPT 5.4 that can reason, retrieve data, and execute tasks just like a junior analyst across equities, commodities, macro. And I know we know just from our own Real Vision Discord that this should be no surprise. I mean, lately, it's been flooded with amazing research papers from several members, myself included, who are just, you know, using AI all day long and doing deep dives on all these companies and posting our work.

19:54Bijan Maleki:And we're seeing that you can get amazing industrial grade, I guess, analysis of all of these equities, all of these cryptos, and just make really high level decisions. And so not surprised to see this taking over on a larger, not industrial, what's the word I'm looking for? Institutional grade, taking over hedge funds and things like that. Not surprised to see that at all, because I know just even as individuals, we're already doing that. So in the second half of the show, I'm basically going to dig in on some prompt engineering and talk about how we can refine our prompts so that we can get more detailed, more specific outputs.

20:33Bijan Maleki:And it's especially important with financial research where you want to minimize hallucinations. You want to refine your prompt as much as possible to basically get the highest quality output. And so that's what we're going to be talking about.

20:47Kris Bullock:So guys, join us over on the platform to see, because this one will help you with your everyday. I know a lot of us are using, you know, chat, GBD, Claude, et cetera, every single day.
