We had a different show prepared for you today, but I think about half an hour before we're about to go on, everything just completely, well, maybe not everything, but quite a few things changed. If you've looked at your portfolio right now, you probably are enjoying the green candles that you haven't seen in a while, especially if you are more heavily into crypto. So we welcome that. We're going to dive into that, see what's going on in the market, why things are green. But is this a bear trap? Some people in the community think so.
0:49Kris Bullock:But we're going to look at the charts to really see if that is the case. Chris, happy Wednesday. How are you?
0:59Bijan Maleki:Yes, I'm doing well. I'm looking forward to this, actually. Like I said, there's a lot going on right now. It's kind of exciting. I'm going to push back. I think it's a little bit more durable than just a flag, but we'll see. I mean, obviously tomorrow will tell. But I think based on what I've discovered and kind of gone through and what I'm going to lay out, I think it's a little bit more durable than that. I think we're seeing a little bit more to it. But before we get into everything I want to first start by saying I've tweaked my my Visual settings on my trading view layout to make the contrast better in an effort to make it more readable And so I'm gonna do a couple different things here I'm gonna start the show in the dark mode as I usually have it though It is an enhanced dark mode with with better contrast So I want you to look at this as we go through the show watch this See what you think and then about halfway through the show.
1:49Bijan Maleki:I'm gonna flip it to light mode and see what that looks like. And then at the end of the show, I want you to leave a comment on the platform and tell me which one you think is better and I'll see what we think going forward. And so I'm trying to make this ultimately a better viewing experience for as many people as possible. So we'll see how it goes. But yeah, I'm gonna start with that and moving along. Now, what's going on? Well, it kind of, I think the big catalyst that all started this off was the treasury announcing this morning that they're going to double buybacks basically on the 10 and the 30 year beginning September 9th.
2:28Bijan Maleki:So that means major buying of treasuries basically. And so what that did is that dropped the long end of the yields way down. We had these big red candles on the 10 year, on the 30 year, this ultimately is bullish. So this resulted in a drop in the dollar, which we see here, which is also bullish. So those things are very bullish for Bitcoin, very bullish for gold, things like that. That was kind of the thing that sort of started all of this off. We had the bond yields coming down drastically. We had the dollar coming down drastically. And then kind of along the same lines yesterday, the CFTC and the SEC announced some pretty major policy announcements that are very favorable towards crypto that are going to take place regardless of whether the Clarity Act comes online or not.
3:21Bijan Maleki:They have like this regulation crypto assets proposal, clearer token classifications, staking and DeFi guidance, broader regulated crypto market access. So the SEC is doing favorable things. The yield, the treasury is doing favorable things. This has kind of resulted in an inflow in ETFs, which we see here. So we're having a pretty decent week in ETFs coming up. So like all of these things are starting to pile on. The macro became favorable, sort of the financial conditions became a little bit more favorable, which is causing big money to kind of start dipping in a little bit more. We had a down week last week, but a decent positive week this week.
4:01Bijan Maleki:And so all of those things kind of aligned and caught a lot of crypto people off guard. And it resulted in a very big short squeeze that we can see that's happening right now. Now, this is a 90 day timeframe, but this is the biggest short squeeze, not only in the last 90 days, but actually going all the way back to as far back as this chart here goes back to 2023, outside of the events of October 10th, October, yeah, right here, or October 8th, rather, whatever, wherever this is. But those were mostly long liquidations. There were quite a few shorts. But outside of that, this is the biggest shorts we've had in like years.
4:45Bijan Maleki:And so that's why everything is massively green right now, because shorts, there's just massive forced buying, basically, to cover all these shorts, because everybody was like net short in crypto and they're getting their faces melted off right now. So that's why we've got big green candles pretty much across the board today. So now, is this durable? I think so. And the reason I think so is because, again, it's not just like a short squeeze. It's coming from macro changes. It's coming from treasury changes. It's coming from Fed policy changes in terms of like the SEC and the FTC. It's coming from institutional flows.
5:22Bijan Maleki:It's impacting gold also. It's not just crypto. So I think there's some durability to this. Now, I think what we need to see, obviously, there's going to be Fed minutes that come out towards the end of today that are either going to reinforce this falling yield liquidity narrative or they're going to push back against it. And so that announcement, how the Fed minutes sort of reacts to what's going on is, I think, going to determine if this is a one day thing or if this is a durable thing. So that's really what I'm waiting for. But based on all of the different elements that have gone into this, I do think that there is more durability to it than not.
5:59Bijan Maleki:So I'm leaning towards it's pretty good. So yeah, I mean, I like what I'm seeing. I think based on this, let's obviously dig through a bunch of charts and see what we see in terms of what levels are we at? Are we breaking through some levels? Are we breaking through some resistance? What looks good? What looks better than others? And just kind of get a, you know, check of where we're at. But I like what I'm seeing. And I think that I'm not saying the bottom is in. I'm not saying that, but I'm just saying this. I think it has some legs. I will say that. And so we'll see. Maybe the bottom is in.
6:29Bijan Maleki:That would be cool. I would be happy with that. So, yeah, that's the that's the quick breakdown in a nutshell of what's going on and why everything is green. And it's it's pretty exciting stuff, really.
6:44Kris Bullock:I love that. Yeah, we have, I mean, quite a few assets are like, you know, approaching double digit percentage gains on the 24 hours, right? Bitcoin up almost a little over 6%, ETH almost up 10%, hype up over 6%. I think Zcash is up, you know, nearing 10%. So quite a few assets are definitely running right now. is it just a case of and now like so what should we be looking for here in in moments like this yeah maybe the bottom's not in right maybe it is that's not really the question at hand here but what should we looking like what should we be looking for in this moment now that things are going up is it just as simple as you want to see the asset going up more than bitcoin is in these types of moments or is there more to it than that?
7:39Bijan Maleki:I mean, certainly, in the case of alts, of course, yes, you want to see it going up more. I think what I'm really looking for ultimately is what's going to tell me that this is durable? What's going to tell me that we're seeing the major things that I keep looking for, like in terms of ETFs, are ETFs actually improving? Another thing that caught my eye along the same lines that I've been talking about was the the Coinbase Premium Index. Now, we know it's been red for sort of historic lengths. It actually poked slightly up into the... I mean, you probably can't even see this, but it did, just believe me, it did poke up into the green for the first time in literally months.
8:22Bijan Maleki:So, I mean, and it's back down in the red now. So it's not like everything. But I mean, literally, let me kind of zoom this out for just a second. So when was it last, not even... hold on like when was it last green at all period was way back here on june 11th so um more than two months and even then it was just a quick peak above and another quick peak above it really wasn't sort of sustained green until you know back all the way back in april so it's been a minute and this is the first time it's been since june 11. so i'll take that that's a step in the right direction that's the step that's showing me that u.s retail at least has of Pulse, which I'll take that.
9:05Bijan Maleki:I'll take a heartbeat from US retail. That's something. They're still alive. They're still out there somewhere. They're just sort of hiding in the shadows, waiting. So that's good. But if we can get a little bit more interest on that side of things, if we can get some more convincing buys, convincing, I should say, net positive inflows on ETFs more than just a few days here and there, that's going to tell me that the I mean, I've talked about just briefly real quick. The reason we're seeing a lot of ETFs come in, ETF buys come in is because I go back to this financial conditions thing. We want to see real rates come down.
9:44Bijan Maleki:And when the Fed automatically drops the 10-year and the 30-year yields, that's a direct catalyst on that. That's a direct mechanical change in these real rates, which is going to push money out the risk curve. It's going to force money out of these safe haven accounts and out the risk curve. That's why we're seeing it go into gold and Bitcoin. So as long as the Fed is actually impacting bonds, that's going to force that money out. So that's also why I think it's durable and why I think it's got some legs to it. So there's some things that are going to keep the money moving in the right direction.
10:18Bijan Maleki:Now, it's not QE. It's not like liquidity. It's not they're printing money or anything like that, though it can have similar similar effects to QE, even though it's technically not. Again, they're not printing money, like understand that. But it's still putting liquidity into the system in a way that directly favors Bitcoin and favors crypto and favors gold and things like that. So that's what's good. And yeah, so I think based on that, let's look at a few levels. Let's see what's where and where we're at. I mean, I don't even I'm kind of going through this in real time myself because it's all happening right now.
10:59Bijan Maleki:So we're going to sort of go through this together and just kind of see in real time what we're looking at and what we have. So Bitcoin looks good. I like that it's come all the way back up to its big major moving average cloud. It's worked its way back up into this long sideways range that it was sitting. Remember last week, it was sort of bumping up against resistance here. Let me turn my highlighter on. So it was bumping up against resistance along this line here for several weeks after just a couple of quick false breaks. And this is by far the first or the biggest sort of move back up into this range that it's had since it broke down.
11:33So obviously we'll see
11:35Bijan Maleki:where it actually closes the day. It's already building a pretty decent wick, upside wick here after these short squeezes have kind of played out. But we'll see. So I like it. It's pushed up into the moving average clouds. It's set new highs. Hopefully it can close the day with new higher highs, but this is good. This is the start of a new daily uptrend, basically. And let's look at it kind of on the weekly timeframe here. Sort of the same thing. It's been on the verge of flipping the megatrend green, but it just didn't have enough kind of momentum here. Let me kind of highlight this. So what we need to flip this, basically, is we need not only closes above the line itself, but we need closes kind of with momentum.
12:18Bijan Maleki:And this right now today is, I mean, it's the epitome of momentum. It's as good as momentum as you can get. So if it can close this week out with, you know, and keep this candle sufficiently high like this, that'll flip it green. And then if we look down here on this one, we've got a bottom signal that has flagged last week. And all it's got to do is close above the wick high of this candle this week. And that will confirm that. And that'll basically be a trend reversal on this weekly timeframe on this trading alpha. So Bitcoin is on the verge of a weekly trend reversal based off of this framework right here.
12:54Bijan Maleki:And then kind of just moving over to this set, it is bumped right up against the 20-week moving average. So in this sense, it's still just technically kind of a mean reversion in an otherwise downtrend. Last term that, and that'll basically... Sorry. What? Sorry, what was that? You're okay. My mic went crazy. Oh, okay. Anyway, so we need to close above this 20-week moving average here and kind of flip this to support. Right now, it's still a counter trend rally in an otherwise larger downtrend. But we do see that this downward moving average is starting to level off and level out and move sideways.
13:34Bijan Maleki:So even that's a good sign. That's showing that we're further along in this bottoming pattern. We're well above the 10-week moving average we can see. So we're in the process of flipping this and a close above this red line here would be a very, very strong signal, I think. And so, like I said, Bitcoin is very close to flipping a lot of a lot of good signs, a lot of good resistance levels that we've been that we've been waiting for. So I like what I'm seeing there. Moving on to Ethereum. What do we got? So Ethereum, kind of what I was just saying needed to happen has just happened with Ethereum.
14:08Bijan Maleki:So it got the big momentum move. it pushed up into that 200-day moving average cloud, and it flipped the signal green already. So it was enough of a momentum move to flip the green and to get a green dot here and to confirm last week's bottom signal here. So Ethereum is arguably slightly a step ahead of Bitcoin based off of the strength, just the outsized strength that it's showing today. I mean, it's up 8.5 % compared to Bitcoin's 5.5%. So we're seeing that's the difference right here. So ETH is now mind you this hasn't confirmed like it still needs to close the week out to confirm this this signal flip here So we got to wait till Sunday But like it's on the right track and even just kind of going over here and looking at for comparison's sake It's above that same 20 week moving average line already So whereas Bitcoin was bumping up against the bottom side of it ETH is already cruising along well above it and Showing just showing more strength in the in the moment.
15:06Bijan Maleki:So ETH looks really solid. Let's check out Solana. Solana's getting there. So Solana's a little bit different in that it flipped its Megatrend green quite a while back. But it's funny, I wouldn't have still bought here because we had loads of red dots here. So these red dots would have kind of invalidated this Megatrend signal. But if we look closely, you know, we finally lost the red dot here. And so we're on the verge of kind of pushing out and breaking out, but it's still not as far along as Bitcoin or Ethereum. It's still it's further. I mean, it's got a little ways to go, but it looks good.
15:44Bijan Maleki:I mean, again, it's pushing back up against previous highs that were set back in June here. So it's doing what it needs to do. Everything's going to kind of look good today. Sweet, less so. I mean, it is technically above its megatrend. It still has a red dot. It's still below its 10-week moving average here.
16:06Bijan Maleki:So, SWE is holding the lows, but I mean, whatever. It's got a bullish divergence here. It's got some bullish divergence flags, which looks good. Generally, the RSI is trending in the right direction, so it's showing a bullish divergence on the RSI, whereas this is moving up, even though this is kind of trending down still. So the downside momentum is continuing to wane, I think, with SWE, but it's not as far along as the other ones we've just looked at. Briefly, let's look at Tron. Tron is just kind of cruising. I want to look at, well, let's look at XRP. XRP needs to bottom out, too. XRP is really just bleeding, like bleeding, bleeding, not really catching up, not really.
16:46Bijan Maleki:It kind of looks like SWE to a large degree. It's, yeah, I mean, it's bad. It's not even like showing bullish divergences on the RSI or anything even. So that's not great. Let's look at NIR. NIR has been one that's been kind of on everybody's radar lately. Let's see what it looks like. So NIR actually was green. It has broken down, but it did hold support on the bottom side of this 200-day moving average cloud and has bounced nicely off of it. And then what do we got here? it kind of held its green candles but it had green dots and it's lost its dot here so looking looking pretty good it's rebounding which i like um so it's trending with the rest of the market i mean it's up six six and a half percent today so i like that um but it's it's sort of lagging behind the the leaders of the day even though it's been generally outperforming overall and has looked better overall than some of the other ones it's kind of lagging behind in the moment, which I think is noteworthy.
17:45Bijan Maleki:I'm going to skip down here a few and let's look at Hyperliquid because Hyperliquid has been one that a lot of people were concerned with because it was kind of bleeding, but Hyperliquid has done a good thing here. So Hyperliquid bounced nicely off of the top side, off of its 200-day SMA moving average and has bounced big off of it. It's right back in the mix, basically, like a good solid V-shaped recovery, which I've been looking for. And it's heading right back up towards its megatrend. And if we look here, not only that, but it got its green dot back. So Hyperliquid is in full sort of reversal, bull trend, uptrend at this point.
18:27Bijan Maleki:It's confirmed its reversal. It's reconfirmed its uptrend. And it's, you know, yeah, I mean, it's doing well. But one thing that's caught my eye and one thing that I want to talk about is pump. And pump is actually kind of, you know, it bottomed and it's ripping out of the lows. And not only is it ripping out of lows, I mean, it's green, green, green across the board here. Green dots, green arrow, like green sort of thrust arrows, which shows that it's got major, major momentum to the upside. It's broken out in all levels. And not only that, what's really interesting about Pump is if I go over here, let me see if I can zoom this in a little bit.
19:08Bijan Maleki:If I look at total like protocols, like crypto digital asset protocols running in the whole crypto sphere, it's ranked number three. It's only behind Tether and Circle in terms of 30 day revenue. Notice it's above Hyperliquid. Notice it's above Tron. I mean, notice it's above, you know, Canton and some of these other ones. Pump is the third most valuable in terms of revenue in the last 30 days asset in all of crypto right now. Like, again, more than Hyperliquid, which has been kind of the darling of everything in terms of revenue. And, of course, it's accruing some of that value back to the token holders.
19:50Bijan Maleki:So this is definitely noteworthy. This is catching my eye. This is breaking out from a token standpoint. It's breaking out from a revenue standpoint. It's crushing it. Ansem's doing some stuff with it, which we can get into here in a little bit. But it's moving. And I want to call attention to it because it's now sort of, it checks those boxes, those important boxes in terms of it's a real project with real world usage that's generating real revenue that's accruing value back to the token holders. Those are the key things that we talk about. And Pump is doing that. And the price is still early.
20:25Bijan Maleki:I mean, yeah, it's, yes, it's overextended kind of in the short term. Obviously, these are big, big green weeks. You know, I mean, look, let's, what do we got here? This week is 19%. This big one here was 28%. This big one here was 36%. So it's definitely overextended a bit. I mean, it's on the, on the weekly timeframe here. We're way outside the Bollinger bands. We're at a D mark six on the setup count. So it's due like a bit of a pullback, but it could run a little bit further. still, it could run all the way to a 13. And, you know, you might not get that pullback and it might not be very deep once it happens.
21:02Bijan Maleki:It could be a shallow pullback. I mean, really this red, red sort of kind of doji candle we got last week could have been the pullback, you know, and it could rip another, another five weeks from here. So, I mean, obviously I don't know what it's going to do, but I'm just saying this one is doing all the things that we talk about that it needs to do to be sort of a viable crypto asset in this new kind of market regime that we talk about. So I wanted to bring it to people's attention because, yeah, it's in the mix and it's interesting. And yeah, let's see.
21:40Kris Bullock:Yeah, Ansem recently launched a launchpad on Solana that I think is pretty much, I haven't looked too much into it. So if anyone has any additional information, but from what I'm seeing, it's basically a very much so a competitor to pump.fund. They also burn Ansem token, all of that. Do you, what do you, how do you, how do you think of that in comparison to pump.fund? Like, do you think they're going to steal some of their market share?
22:10Bijan Maleki:No, to be clear, it's not a competitor directly to pump.fund. It actually uses Pump.Fun kind of on the underside of things. What it's doing is it's a way to hold on. I made a couple of notes here. Let me let me pull them up.
22:33Bijan Maleki:So what it's doing is basically incentivizing people to go through this platform to get more access to Ansem's audience, basically. So like before, kind of the old sort of way people would go about it is a project would come up, they'd make a project, a meme coin, whatever, they would pay an influencer, and that influencer would promote that project, and then hopefully people would come back around and buy the token. So what Ansem is doing instead is it's kind of shifting that a little bit where a project comes about, they go through Ansem's platform. this platform essentially pays Ansem's community members instead of Ansem directly and the community then promotes the project and gets project attention that way so instead of it coming from one person it's coming from an entire community of people uh and well yeah exactly so it's novel but it all the launches still actually take place on pump.fun it's just sort of rerouting a little bit of that attention and capturing some of that attention in a different way is kind of a nutshell way to explain it.
23:44Bijan Maleki:So, I mean, there's more nuance to that. But yeah, so you can launch a token through here. It ultimately does launch on Pump.Fun, but it captures Ansem's audience directly and pays them through airdrops and things like that. Like the project has to buy an allocation of token, airdrop them to Ansem's community that are signed up through this website, they get the airdrop tokens, they promote the project. So it's cool. It's novel, you know? So I wonder, you know, of course, you have to buy Ansem tokens as part of this process. So let's take a look at what that looks like. Let's look at the Ansem token here.
24:20Bijan Maleki:I mean, it's all new. It's only been out, what, a week, maybe? These are daily candles, but we can see just in the last three days, massive, massive volume spike compared to previously. So this is interesting. I mean, this is something to keep an eye on for sure. It's on my radar now, it's on my watch list now to see how well these drops go. But we know just based on what I've shown you with Pump.Fun, it's cranking out massive revenue. It's got massive activity. This is only gonna help things because we know Ansem's got a bajillion followers and his community is valuable. And so people are gonna wanna leverage that.
24:57Bijan Maleki:So this could be an interesting flywheel and it's definitely worth keeping an eye on. So I'm going to be watching the Ansem token. I'm going to be watching Pump.Fun token. Yeah, it's good stuff.

25:09Kris Bullock:Yeah, it definitely shows that the appetite for kind of this mean coin, kind of degen community coin space hasn't really gone away. Right. You know, so I think that's something to consider, especially going into hopefully greener pastures in the market. Exactly.
25:30Bijan Maleki:OK, I am going to before we move on, I'm going to switch my theme to light mode. Hopefully my retinas won't fry. And. Oh, my God. I want you guys to take a look at this as we go through the rest of the show. And then again, at the end, I want you to comment. Which one do you like better? Which one is more visually clear on your screen? Which one can you see more of the indicators and the contrast? And which one is actually easier for you to read? So we'll spend the rest of the show going through some charts with this color scheme. And we'll see how it goes. And I'll do what you guys say. So if you tell me it's white mode, I'll stick with white mode.
26:07Bijan Maleki:I mean, I'll use dark everywhere outside of this. But I'll do the shows in white mode if you tell me it looks better. I promise. So we'll see. Okay, what else do we got? Um, whoa, this is so weird to me. Okay. Let's look. So I've talked about hype. Let's look at Venice. Venice is another one that actually is kind of on the rebound too. Not to the same degree that Hyperliquid was, but it still looks really good too. Not like a proper V-shaped recovery, but I do like that it's continuing to, you know, set higher lows and higher highs. It's bumping up back up against its bull market support band.
26:45Bijan Maleki:And I like also that it never really lost its big moving averages. Like, this is important. Let me kind of go back and look at it here on this one. So the thing I like about Venice is even though it blew up and then it really corrected big time, it never truly lost its weekly uptrend. Like, it tested it as support. I will say it closed above it or below it a couple of times. But the weekly moving average, the weekly 20-week moving average is still in an uptrend. and it's been fighting it all along and now it's trying to make a meaningful close back above it. So it's still in the conversation, I think.
27:23Bijan Maleki:It's still worthy of consideration because it just kind of had a bigger correction than maybe some other ones. But it looks good. It never lost its green candles on this one. It regained its green dot here. So like, yeah, it's got the momentum back. It's got its mojo back, I guess, if you want to say. and it looks like it's showing strength. So I think it's worth having on your radar at least too, having in the conversation. What else? What else? There's all kinds of stuff going on here. This is kind of crazy. Oh, Morpho is another one that's been interesting to me. So Morpho is one that never really, it's funny, it hasn't even really been in that much of a downtrend, you could say.
28:06Bijan Maleki:I mean, honestly, like, granted, it's fairly new. But if you look at like sort of the, you know, the peak, well, it peaked in August. But if we look at like, you know, October, where is this, October, kind of when everything peaked, it's, I mean, it's technically up. It's actually up a little bit on, you know, so it's like not even in a down. Meanwhile, the rest of crypto dropped anywhere from 50 to 70 percent or more, 80 percent or more in some cases. Morpho didn't really do that. I mean, it dropped a little bit kind of at the beginning of the year, but it's right back up and back up higher than where it was in October.
28:45Bijan Maleki:So it's like, huh? Totally flying under the radar. It's a good DeFi project. It's making money. And so I'm like, why is nobody talking about this? I mean, people are talking about it. I'm not saying it's not like completely irrelevant. It's absolutely relevant, but I feel like people aren't acknowledging the fact that like it's pretty much outperforming most things. It should be in the same conversation as the likes of, you know, Hyperliquid and, you know, Venice and things like that in terms of bucking the larger crypto downtrend. I mean, it's performing as well as anything out there right now.
29:20So yeah, Morfo.
29:26Kris Bullock:Got a question that just came in from Aiden. are you currently DCA in anything? I know you've always liked SPX and Pengu.
29:39Bijan Maleki:So, yeah, yes and no. I was going to DCA. It's funny. I've been planning on DCA into Bitcoin, but I keep looking at suddenly the alts are catching all my attention. Suddenly I've been like, man, do I want to double down on my Bitcoin in the model portfolio? Or do I want to actually branch out a little bit and pick up some pump, you know, or pick up some Morpho or pick up even some Monero or Zcash or ones like that, you know, to kind of diversify things a little bit, because some of these are actually looking really good. Not Ondo. There's another DeFi one. Link, well, it's funny. Link has actually been looking really good as of late.
30:17Bijan Maleki:It's kind of starting to break out. It's got a solid bottoming pattern, you know, bottoming signal here, two green dots in a row, two big closes above the mega trend, a pushup back up over the 200 day moving average. So suddenly it's like, I've never even been a huge fan of Link. I've always kind of bashed it as an investment, but like, I can't ignore the, the, the sort of breakout setup here right now. And the fact that it looks like it's wanting to run a little bit, you know, and it's, it's getting attention. And of course we know it's continuing to get usage and it kind of always will, but it's catching my eye too.
30:53Bijan Maleki:And then it's funny, Uniswap was also another one. Uniswap's been doing well, but it rebounded as of late. It kind of lost its momentum a little bit. But for a long time, Uniswap is really breaking out too. So the long answer is I'm not buying anything, but I'm going to be doing my report on Thursday of this week. And there's a very, very high chance that come that report, I will have spent a good chunk of that extra cash that I have sitting in that portfolio on either a Bitcoin position or one or more alt positions to kind of diversify the portfolio a little bit. So I want to actually, I mean, I'm pretty overweight hyperliquid in that portfolio.
31:31Bijan Maleki:And I mean, rightfully so. It's been doing well and there's been not really any reason to sell it. So and it's rebounding. So I'm not going to sell it now, but I want to, yeah, I want to mix it up. I feel like this is a good time to kind of capture some of this momentum that we're seeing. and uh yeah so i will be buying something um stay tuned for for the report on friday to see
31:52Kris Bullock:to see what that is so yeah well we'll see yeah pump is uh pump's very interesting we've been talking about it for the past couple of weeks um and it just keeps going and it's what 59 uh rank market cap right now too. And I love coins like that, that are like kind of in the 25 and like lower range of the market cap that particularly have the things that we talk about that have an act of viable business, have good tokenomics that do the buybacks pump kind of right. There's all of those, you know, all of those off the list there. So very interesting that and obviously the room to grow, right, as well with it being at the, you know, 59, 60 market cap.
32:40Right.
32:41Bijan Maleki:Yeah, exactly. It's kind of right in the sweet spot. I wanted to talk a little bit about Robinhood, the Robinhood chain, because Robinhood is, it's fairly new. We've talked about it. I mean, it launched, what, a couple of months ago, maybe something along those lines. It's already worked its way up to number 13 in the rankings in terms of layer ones, in terms of blockchains, basically. So it's already, let's see, it's still below, I mean, the big ones, obviously, it's below Ethereum, Solana, Tron, base, Bitcoin, Hyperliquid, things like that, and some of the ETH layer twos. But it's already squeaked above Avalanche, it's above SWE, it's above Optimism, some of these other big ones that, you know, that we talk about.
33:25Bijan Maleki:So it's working its way up. It's got 187 active protocols. It's making solid money, solid revenue, basically. So I did a little bit of a quick research, deep dive on some of the popular protocols that are running on Robinhood, just to kind of see what they look like. Since it's early days, it's some memes and it's some silly stuff, but there's a couple of DEXs and DeFi protocols on there too. But I thought, let's take a look at some Robinhood protocols and just see what looks good. So Cash Cat is the big one that jumped out. Let me find a good...
34:10Kris Bullock:Robinhood NFTs have also been a bit of a craze as well. Yeah, bringing total NFT market volume as well recently.
34:22Bijan Maleki:um whoa dude cash maybe that's the wrong hold on let me
34:30Bijan Maleki:whatever something bad happened to cash cat uh uh let's just uh it's still hard with these these new ones um
34:47Kris Bullock:And do you think, or just another question, because we mentioned earlier about retail showing signs of life. Do you think this is correlated? Robinhood, you know, like, you know, shooting up the ranks here, being 13 on that protocol list, and then retail also showing signs of life?
35:09Bijan Maleki:Yes, I do. I mean, obviously, I think the retail spike that we saw today on that Coinbase premium, obviously, those are going to be people that are still kind of with one foot in crypto, maybe, if you will, the ones that aren't completely abandoned it, that are waiting for it to come back around, like your whatever, your cousins and stuff like that, that reach out. But Yeah. Still, again, it's a sign of life, and I think it's positive. So, OK, here's a I had to pull up a perp chart, but this will work. This is fine as a proxy. So it's hard to glean anything from this, honestly. I mean, it's just kind of oscillating.
35:52Bijan Maleki:I don't know. And it's only been out a little over a month. So maybe this will be a silly exercise. But let's see. We got CacheCat. We got Pawns.
36:08Bijan Maleki:What I'm going to be looking for with these are ones that are just kind of solidly trending as opposed to, you know, meandering. This one's a bit of a meandering one, too. Again, this is a very new ecosystem. So none of these are going to be like, these aren't investment recommendations. These are just kind of a, hey, we've got a brand new blockchain here that's catching people's attention. You know, what's going on here? And is there anything interesting? that's not gonna work uh and they just launched uh a they just launched agentic trading as well
36:41Kris Bullock:on robin hood so you can connect like claude or your chat gpt to their mcps and you can like trade just based on you can do market research on it and you can directly trade with your agent
36:51Bijan Maleki:that's awesome um yeah let's see oh pipe dog
37:01Bijan Maleki:Let's look, let's just do this one. Pipe dog. Pipe dog. Pipe dog looks meh. So I got one more here. Mao, not even found. It doesn't even find Mao. Okay, well, unfortunately we didn't find any gems yet. So basically, if you're messing around on Robin Hood, now bear in mind, these are the The ones I'm looking at specifically, I singled out ones that are native to the Robinhood blockchain. There are plenty of other tokens that have bridged over to Robinhood, like your Uniswaps and your big DEXs and Tether and USDC. So there's a bunch of stuff that's bridged over to Robinhood. And I didn't want to call those out because those have been around forever.
37:48Bijan Maleki:So I'm really just looking at stuff that's brand new specifically to the Robinhood blockchain that are native to Robinhood that are launching on there, like native DEXs and things like that. But as we can see, again, it's still very early days. So this is kind of total degen casino land, basically. If you want to go and degen and mess around with super low cap, high volatility, brand new tokens on Robinhood, which I mean, sometimes you can do really well. Some people, whatever, you're gambling essentially. But my point being, there's activity happening there. It's a burgeoning ecosystem that has caught people's attention to the extent that it has already achieved a ranking of number 13 against above some pretty heavy hitters that have been around a long time.
38:34Bijan Maleki:And I think the fact that they've got such a big TAM, a big total addressable market because of all of their TradFi app subscribers, that's going to put a bunch of people on chain that maybe weren't already on chain before. And so that's, I think, why we're seeing that. They have the benefit of having a huge subscriber base already, a huge user base that has been using these for, I mean, a decade or however long Robinhood's been. I had set up my Robinhood account back in 2016 or 2017 or something like that. So they've been around a long time, you know. And so that's a big market that they're just dumping on chain, basically.
39:11Bijan Maleki:And so I get it. I can see why it's, you know, risen up the rankings as quickly as it has. So I think it's something to keep an eye on. I think it's something to like know that this is probably not going away and it's going to be, you know, there's going to potentially be some big movers that come along on that Robin Hood chain. I think once a big Dex comes along that starts to compete with the likes of Hyperliquid, you know, that's going to capture a lot of attention and we're going to see something rip. So I think Robin Hood rather is an area that you should sort of have in the back of your mind and have on your radar and, you know, be looking at from time to time.
39:48So, yeah.
39:52Kris Bullock:Yeah, absolutely.
39:56Kris Bullock:And like I said earlier, their NFT ecosystem is buzzing right now. Right. Yes. As well. I mean, obviously, I know a lot of people are kind of turned off to NFTs, but just a little bit of just alpha and how these things go. anytime one of these brand new chains launches that get a lot of media attention which robin hood certainly is doing typically there's like one nft collection that pumps from from this solana had this in their early days um ordinals had this as well hyper liquid had this with hyper and a few other chains on like, I don't know, it wasn't Aptos. There's another one that sounds very similar to Aptos that had a few as well that were running.
40:47Kris Bullock:So that's generally how these things go. Which one it is, I don't know, but just something as well that would be interesting to watch.
40:55Bijan Maleki:Yeah, yeah, good call for sure. I think let's, with a little bit of time we have left, let's kind of just go through this and look at the, identify the ones that are moving the most on the day and kind of call those out and see what those look like. So one actually that caught my eye on my watch list, Rekt. Rekt is up 7 % on the day. So that's up more than most of these, honestly. So Rekt still is in a downtrend, but this is obviously a positive sign. It is trading above its megatrend line and the line itself has reversed back to the upside. So if it can get even just one good momentum day or one good momentum week rather, it'll flip this signal and You know, hopefully that's all it takes to kind of be back off to the races It looks like memes in general are doing pretty good like useless is also up 10 % on the day But overall it's still well down like if we kind of look at it back on its daily here It's funny with memes they They're still it's still in an ugly downtrend but sometimes memes get the get the best of the liquidity and the best of the short squeezes and they tend to rip the most.
42:05Bijan Maleki:GigaChat is another one. It's up almost 10 % on the day. What about some of these other ones that are a little bit less wonky?
42:16Bijan Maleki:Uniswap, we talked about. Rekt, we talked about. Hype, all these.
42:27Bijan Maleki:Yeah, I don't know. Oh, let's look at Zcash and Monero. So Zcash and Monero both actually are breaking out. Zcash in particular is up almost 8 % on the day. But if we look at them kind of more on their weekly frameworks, so Zcash has actually been looking like it wants to break out to a big new high for a while now. It's been coiling and holding steady and not really losing any steam. I mean it had that big kind of those that hack scare way back here But it's absorbed that and it's just been holding steady and if we look at it on here We got you know the green micro dot back and now like I said, it's coiling It's got that volatility squeeze shading on it.
43:10Bijan Maleki:So it's due for a breakout It's it's been very tight and I think we're gonna see you know something good there and then looking at Monero to Monero also Is breaking out and reversing its trend? It's actually trending more than Zcash is like Zcash has been really flat. Whereas Monero, it's been trending both to the upside and to the downside. But it's been it's technically broken out of its setup here. Like let's look. Actually, this is really good. It's kind of similar to the pump chart in that it's been solid green weeks for several in a row now. It's flipped all of its moving averages. It's flipped its mega trend.
43:44Bijan Maleki:Not only has it flipped the 200-day moving average cloud, but if we zoom in here We can see that the cloud itself has kind of reversed like a bullish crossover flip here Showing that there's actually a lot of momentum in this run right now And then if we kind of go back here and look at this, we've got Solid green dots in a row three in a row. It's back above the track line It's it's looking like it wants to break out too And then finally here you know it's it's flipped all of its major it's 10 it's 20 and it's 50 day moving averages have all flipped to the upside uh and it's it's just it's just running it just looks good it's actually a really good looking setup in fact i like it because it's not too overextended it's not quite too crazy kind of like the pump chart is like the pump chart was breaking out and way outside the the upper bollinger bands whereas the monero is like just kind of a steady healthy grind.
44:38It's like, that's a pretty good setup actually.
44:41Bijan Maleki:I like that. From a technical standpoint, this is very appealing right now. So yeah, that looks good.
44:53Kris Bullock:Love it. What else? Let's see. I think I had one on my list that I wanted us to check out. Pengu.
45:05Bijan Maleki:Oh, yeah, let's look at Pengu. It's funny, I thought about that too, a minute ago. Okay.
45:15Bijan Maleki:Not awesome, but what I'm seeing here with Pengu is it's, I see more just like bottoming pattern, like it's very typical of the bottoming pattern that the rest of a lot of crypto is going through in that Megatrend is just kind of flattening out and prices starting to trade right at it, technically above it a little bit. But I wouldn't be a buyer here yet because again, we see lots and lots of red dots here. So it's still, this is showing that it's got downside momentum still. I need to see these dots at least disappear first before I'd want to kind of go back into this with any size. I know I've got a teeny tiny position in the model portfolio.
45:56Bijan Maleki:But technical wise, it's still just kind of going sideways. It's treading water to a large degree. It's not going up or down too much in any one week. And then here it's just kind of holding the lows. Yeah, holding basically the bear market lows that it's been in. The good thing here though, nice bearish or bullish divergence rather, RSI divergence, which I like. Like, you know, this is kind of, oops, generally tracking to the upside here, whereas this is flat, if anything, even a little bit down. So this is showing the downside momentum is waning. And yeah, from a technical standpoint, that's about all I can say with Pengu.
46:37Bijan Maleki:It doesn't look awesome. But it's also not like losing its major floor and going to zero or anything like that. So it's there. It's there or thereabouts. All right. Oh, a couple of digital quotes. Ondo, I wanted to look at Ondo. Yeah, Ando's kind of just chopping sideways too, but Ando's looking a little bit better than most in that it's up in its 200-day moving average cloud and kind of holding steady with that. And then Aerodrome was another one. Okay, it's about the same. So, Ando and Aerodrome are two, they're two DeFi projects that I think are going to be kind of in the mix going forward.
47:15Bijan Maleki:They're both good projects that have a lot of real-world usage and will be in the conversation, but they haven't quite caught a bid just yet. They're on my radar, though, for sure. And Syrup, too, is another one that Maple Finance. What does that look like? Yeah, still not quite there either. I think DeFi, I still think that DeFi is going to be in the conversation, you know, over the course of the next cycle, whatever that is. Because we've seen a material shift away from speculation. And I know in a bear market, especially a big year-long bear market, you're going to get anything that's speculative is going to just go through the floor anyway.
47:54Bijan Maleki:But I feel like, again, the consciousness has shifted towards stuff that's really making money and has revenue and real-world adoption. And I think those are the ones that are going to excel out of the bottoms. And I would put these last, you know, Syrup and Aero and Ondo and, you know, Morpho and Uniswap even kind of in that conversation as stuff that's going to do well from a DeFi standpoint. Aave too, which we haven't looked at, but Aave is probably another one that's in that conversation that is really just a solid blue chip DeFi asset. Well, let's just kind of look at it real quick.
48:33Bijan Maleki:Yeah, I mean, Aave is right there too. It's actually, you know, it's kind of broken out already. It's not above its big moving average, but the megatrend is rounded up. And it's kind of starting to break out. Again, it's not there, but it's there or thereabouts like a lot of these other ones. So I'm going to be looking at DeFi a lot going forward for sure. So, yeah.
48:59Kris Bullock:Did you freeze? All right. There you have it, everyone. Thank you for tuning in. This has been another episode of Trading the Markets. I better end before my internet completely dies. We'll see you guys on Monday for The World According to AI. And then we'll see you again next week for Trading the Markets. Same time, same place. Have a great week, everyone. Don't fuck this up.

Bijan Maleki and Kris Bullock are back to break down a potentially important shift in the macro setup for crypto. With the U.S. Treasury stepping up long-dated bond buybacks, long-end yields are falling and the dollar is weakening - conditions that could become increasingly supportive for bitcoin, gold, and other risk assets.
Kris also digs into PUMP, which has recently overtaken Hyperliquid in 30-day protocol revenue, and explains why he’s considering adding it to the Real Vision model portfolio. They compare the setup with HYPE, run through the usual crypto charts, and look for the strongest opportunities across the market.
