06Today's video is sponsored by Figure Markets, the largest non-bank mortgage lender in the US with over$15 billion unlocked on their lending platform. They've just lowered rates on their Bitcoin and ETH-backed loans even more to 8.91%, which is 9.999 % APR, improving their already industry-low fixed-rate 50 % LTV loans. They keep building as well, having also just launched decentralized MPC Custody, the only place to get that amongst the major loan providers, and removed interest deferral fees entirely. What is MPC Decentralized Custody, you might ask? Well, it's a Bitcoin or ETH on-chain wallet with multiple key shards to protect you from a single-entity custody failure.

50You can always see your crypto ownership in a segregated wallet and verify your collateral hasn't moved. Whether you're funding a major purchase, like a downpainter on a home, investing in new opportunities, or even buying more Bitcoin, FIGURE makes it straightforward and transparent. 1:34Lend me a few minutes of your time and you'll be up to speed. Just don't expect in-depth analysis or the views of the real Raoul, OK? You got that in his quarterly AMA for pro members with Julian Bittle yesterday. Anyway, here's what's happening today. Lights are off as the US federal government has officially entered a shutdown as of October 1st, following Congress's failure to pass a funding bill. This event is causing significant uncertainty in the markets, particularly regarding upcoming crucial economic reports, including initial jobless claims tomorrow and Friday's non-farm payrolls. US futures are down, but gold is shining brighter than ever before, with the spot price hitting nearly$3 ,900 earlier today.

18In Europe, preliminary inflation figures for September indicate that Eurozone consumer price inflation rose slightly to 2.2 % as expected. This is the first time it's moved above the European Central Bank's target of 2 % since April. The increase was primarily driven by slower declines in energy costs compared to previous months. However, core inflation remained stable at its lowest level since January 2022, at around 2.3 % for a fifth consecutive month. European stocks are firmly in the green today, and London's FTSE 100 hit a record high, driven by a surge in healthcare stocks. Japan reported an uptick in business sentiment among large manufacturers according to their quarterly Tanken survey On the flip side, S &P Global highlighted accelerated contraction within the manufacturing sector Activity reflected by PMI scores fell to 48.5 in September, below the neutral level of 50 The yen strengthened against other currencies during early trading sessions today, following the mixed data The so-called Uptober has started as the name would suggest for crypto prices, including Bitcoin climbing back above$116 ,000.

36This could be partially thanks to MetaPlanet, which acquired nearly 5 ,300 Bitcoin, taking its total holdings to more than 30 ,000 coins. Meanwhile, the CEO of World Liberty Financial, the crypto venture backed by the Trump family, says they're planning to launch a debit card as early as this year. And the team behind the ex-account of BNB chain says they have regained full access to the account after it was compromised. So, as promised, shut down or not, I'm still standing. Thanks for joining me and I'll see you again tomorrow.

15Thank you.
