In short
The episode argues that “poverty/scarcity” is not a natural law but a human-made design flaw, and that people should choose “abundance” by serving others rather than guarding resources. It claims therapy’s impact shows up in small restraint and honesty, then pivots to money philosophy from Rich Dad: money is abundant when created by people who create value. Key guest/teacher figure is Dr. R. Buckminster Fuller (“Bucky”), an architect who taught “ephemilization” (doing more with less, eventually “everything with nothing”) and that money is a measurement of service. Another recurring “guest” is Robert Kiyosaki (host/narrator).
Notable examples
the universe’s abundance (planet 80% water, oxygen replenishes, sun energy), the bee “precession” analogy (money as side effect), and “grunch” (systems built on scarcity that keep people manageable).

00The sun gives off more energy in one second than humanity could spend in a year. Oxygen never runs out. It just keeps refilling for free. That's not scarcity. That's abundance. And it includes money. So if that's true, why does it feel like there's never enough? Stick around because the answer isn't what you've been told. This is the Rich Dad Radio Show. The Good News and Bad News About Money. Here's Robert Kiyosaki. Welcome to the Rich Dad Radio Show, the good and bad about money. This is Robert Kiyosaki, and today is just you and me. And we're talking about what the rich are teaching their kids about money.
47Listen, you can choose to live in a world of not enough money or a world of too much money. That choice is up to you. Rich Dad said that to me, and it took years before I understood he wasn't talking about luck. Poor dad believed money was scarce. He lived like it, saved like it, taught like it. Rich dad believed money was abundant, made by those who created value for others. Scarcity or abundance isn't your circumstance, it's your choice. Let me tell you why I'm telling you this today. I posted that on Facebook. It went viral. Hundreds of thousands of people sharing it, saving it, sending it to someone they love.
33Here's the problem. A message doesn't go viral because it's new information. It goes viral because it's a message people already want to believe, and nobody's given them permission yet. That's what happened. People don't need convincing that scarcity is real. They live it every day. What they need is proof that abundance is real too. Not motivation, not a slogan on a coffee mug. Proof. Most people think I just decided to believe rich dad's philosophy about abundance, positive thinking, mind over matter. I didn't. I had a second teacher, my other rich dad in a way. Somebody who proved abundance wasn't an opinion, not a banker, not a stockbroker, an architect.
23And once you hear what that man taught me, you'll understand why a hundred-year-old idea just went viral on Facebook this year. Let's get into it. Go back and look at what Rich Dad actually said. He didn't just say money was abundant. He said it was made by people who created value for others. That's not a feeling. That's a mechanism. Most people skip right past that word, value. They hear abundance and they think good vibes, positive energy, some kind of manifestation game. That's not what Rich Dad meant, not even close. Here's the problem. If abundance was just a feeling, I would have been guessing, hoping, crossing my fingers, same as everyone else.
12I wasn't guessing, not for long. Somebody taught me the mechanism, proved to me that abundance wasn't an attitude you choose, it's a result you produce. And once I understood the mechanism, scarcity stopped being scary. It just became optionally. Think about it. You don't need courage to stop believing something that was never true in the first place. You just need to see it clearly. That's what the architect gave me. Clarity. Not a pep talk. I'll tell you exactly what he taught me right after this. And once you hear it, you're going to understand why that Facebook post didn't just get shared, it got saved.
59People wanted to come back to it. So remember what we said, abundance isn't a feeling I chose. It's a mechanism somebody proved to me. When we come back, I'm going to tell you exactly who that somebody was and what he taught me. Once you hear it, you'll understand why that Facebook post is still getting shared today. Don't go anywhere. Thanks for listening to my show. Here is something you need to know. Elon Musk just made the most controversial move of his entire career. It's a little-known FCC filing that could secure him a virtual monopoly in the AI market. This move could totally dominate his competitors like Amazon, Meta, Google, and Microsoft.
45And according to legendary tech investor James Altucher, it will create 1.8 million new millionaires over the next decade. If his name sounds familiar, it's because James was one of the earliest to call the rise of Nvidia, Apple, and Elon's super IPO years in advance. And today he dives deep into Elon Musk's next major move and why he thinks it will be bigger than Tesla, SpaceX, and XAI combined. But for your chance to get in on the best action, you need to act by the end of this month. To hear James' full, uncensored presentation, go to muskmasterclass.com right now. 7:35Paid for by Paradigm Press. The system was never broken. It was built this way. People keep asking me why the system feels rigged. Let me be blunt. It isn't broken. It's working exactly as designed. Designed by the rich, for the rich, to keep everyone else locked outside the room where the real money is made. It starts in school. It keeps you working for money instead of learning how money works for the rich. There are two sets of rules. One set for people who work for money, another set entirely for the people who print it, control it, and move it. I'm not telling you this to make you angry and helpless.
10I'm telling you because once you see the game, you can learn to play it. The rich didn't get rich by working harder. They got rich by understanding rules nobody bothered to teach you. Learn the real rules. That's the only rebellion that actually works. That is why I'm introducing you to Devin and her Capital Club. Capital Club brings democracy to investing and opens a backdoor for you, so you can participate in some of the greatest investments you normally would not have access to or be invited to. To learn more, go to CapitalClub33.com. That's CapitalClub33.com. Go there and beat the system. Don't let the system beat you.
51CapitalClub33.com. Okay, we're back. So here's where we left off. I had a second teacher, not a banker, not a stockbroker, an architect. And what that man taught me is why I finally stopped just hoping Rich Dad was right about abundance and started knowing it. His name was Dr. R. Buckminster Fuller. Everybody called him Bucky. Most people have never heard of him. Here's why that matters. I studied under Fuller late 1970s, into the early 80s. I sat through his very last seminar in 1983 at Lake Tahoe, a week straight through with a man most people will never even hear the name of. I called him my other rich dad, my spiritual rich dad.
43I love this man so much I dedicated my book Second Chance to him. Not to a banker, not to a Wall Street legend, to an architect. Think about it. Fuller didn't build his reputation on spreadsheets. He built geodesic domes, structures that use almost nothing to hold up enormous weight, doing more with less. That phrase wasn't just architecture to Fuller, it was a law. He called it ephemilization. Let me say this again, ephemilization. Fuller believed humanity crossed a line, a real one, A line where scarcity stopped being necessary. Not stopped being real, stopped being necessary. Technology, design, human ingenuity, all of it moving in one direction, doing more with less, until eventually you can do everything with nothing.
41That's not a metaphor. Fuller meant it as physics. And once I heard it, everything Rich Dad had already been telling me finally clicked into place. Here's a problem most people run into. They hear poverty and they think it's a fact of nature, like gravity, unavoidable, built into the system. Fuller told me something different, something that would change the way I saw every dollar, every government program, every excuse I'd ever made. He said poverty wasn't a law of nature at all. It was something else entirely. Poverty wasn't a law of nature. It was a human design flaw. Let me say this again.
27A human design flaw, not a life sentence. And Fuller didn't ask me to take that on faith. He pointed me at the universe itself. Look at what we were actually given. The planet is 80 % water. The sun produces more energy in one hour than humanity could spend in a year. Oxygen never runs out. It just keeps getting replenished every single day for free. This is important. The universe doesn't run on scarcity. And neither does money. That line stopped me the first time I heard it. Listen to it again if you need to. Here's the problem. If the universe is built this way, abundant, self-renewing, generous by design, then where did scarcity come from?
18It didn't come from nature. Most people never ask that question. They just assume scarcity was always here, baked into reality. It wasn't. Old systems, outdated institutions, they found something out a long time ago. A scared person is easy to manage, easy to sell to, easy to keep working and working and working without ever asking questions. So scarcity got manufactured, sold, repeated, generation after generation, until it looked like a law instead of what it actually was, a choice somebody else made for you. This is not a theory I had to defend at parties, not something I need you to agree with, just true.
08The way gravity is true whether you believe in it or not. But knowing abundance is real isn't the whole lesson. Fuller told me one more thing about who actually ends up with the money. It's not who you think. I'll tell you exactly what he said right after this. Thanks for listening to my show, here is something you need to know. Elon Musk just made the most controversial move of his entire career. It's a little-known FCC filing that could secure him a virtual monopoly in the AI market. This move could totally dominate his competitors like Amazon, Meta, Google, and Microsoft. And according to legendary tech investor James Altucher, it will create 1.8 million new millionaires over the next decade.
00If his name sounds familiar, it's because James was one of the earliest to call the rise of Nvidia, Apple, and Elon's super IPO years in advance. That's muskmasterclass.com. Paid for by Paradigm Press. Here is something your financial advisor and Wall Street do not want you to know. The best deals in the world will never show up on your brokerage app.
49That is not an accident. The rules of money were not written for you. They were written for the rich, by the rich. That is why the average investor is funneled into stocks, bonds, and mutual funds and told to sit tight for 40 years and hope. Meanwhile, the best deals in the world are private, real estate, oil and gas, small businesses. These assets are not subject to the same public market rules and they consistently outperform Wall Street. You find them through relationships, education, and deal flow built over years. That is not an accident. It keeps the good deals inside a small circle while everyone else fights over what is left in public markets.
28If you want real returns, stop looking where everyone else is told to look. I've got a solution for you. Meet Devin Johnson, founder of Capital Club. Devin has access to deals most people don't even know exist. Deals that let you invest in a business before it goes public. Deals that cash flow regularly and consistently. Deals that can prevent you from ever paying taxes. Deals that Wall Street doesn't want you to know about. Now Devin is opening a door so you can have access to her deals. To learn more, visit Devin at CapitalClub33.com. That's CapitalClub33.com. We're back. Okay, so here's where we are.
09Abundance isn't a theory. Fuller proved it with physics, and the whole universe backs him up. but he told me one more thing, something about who actually ends up wealthy and why chasing money directly is the slowest way to get it. That part changes everything. Don't go anywhere. So here's where we left off. Fuller told me something about who actually ends up wealthy and it's not who you'd guess. Before Fuller, I thought business was about chasing profit, hard, aggressive, whatever it takes. Fuller changed that in one sentence. He told me the universe runs on service, not sentiment, service. Let me say this again.
54Money is a measurement, not a goal, a measurement. Here's what I mean. Money measures how many people you've helped solve a problem. That's it. That's the whole formula. The more people you serve, the more effective you become. And the more effective you become, the more money shows up. Not as a reward, as a byproduct. Think about it. The most paid people on earth aren't the hardest workers. They're the ones solving problems for the most people at the same time. A doctor helps one patient at a time. Good work, honest work. A company that cures a disease helps millions at once. Same effort, different reach, completely different result.
42This is important. Poor dad chased a paycheck, one employer, one problem, solved for one company. Rich dad chased a mission, value, multiplied across as many people as possible. Neither one was lazy. Both of them worked hard. Rich dad was already living the mechanism. He just never needed a name for it. But here's a strange part. Fuller told me you can't chase the money directly and get this to work. There's a name for that. It comes from watching a bee. A bee doesn't fly around trying to pollinate flowers. It's not the bee's job. It's not even on the bee's mind. The bee is just after the nectar.
28Pollination is the side effect. The bee never even knows it happened. Fuller had a name for that. He called it precession, and it changes everything about how you think about getting rich. Precession, the side effect of a body in motion. Fuller found that everywhere in nature, the bee chasing nectar, pollinating the planet without even trying. He told me money works exactly the same way. Let me say this again. When you chase money directly, you get scarcity, competition. everyone fighting over the same plate of food. But when you chase a mission, solving a real problem for as many people as you can reach, money arrives as a side effect, not the goal, the side effect.
19This is the part people get backwards their whole lives. They think, I'll go make my money first, then I'll figure out my purpose. Fuller said it never works in that order. Chase the money directly and you compete for scraps with everyone else chasing the same thing. Chase the mission and the money finds you because you're solving a problem instead of guarding a pile. Rich Dad used to say something people misunderstood constantly. I'm not in it for the money. People thought that was a nice thing to say, a humble brag. It wasn't. It was the mechanism. working exactly as Fuller described it. Think about every person you know who got wealthy chasing money directly.
07Now think about how many of them are still chasing it, still not satisfied, still competing. Now think about the ones who got obsessed with solving one problem for as many people as possible. Different energy, different outcome, same universe. Here's the problem. If money is just a side effect of service, then why does it feel like such a fight for so many people? Why does it feel like something's rigged? Because something is. There's a name for it. Fuller gave me that name too. And once you hear it, you'll understand exactly why. Scarcity keeps winning, even in a universe built for abundance.
52Fuller called it grunch, the gross universal cash heist. I know, strange name. He likes strange names. Here's what he meant by it. Old institutions, centralized banks, certain corporate systems built a hundred years ago. They figured out the same thing Fuller figured out, except they used it against people instead of for them. They learned that a person who believes in scarcity is easy to manage, easy to keep borrowing, easy to keep working past the point it makes sense, easy to keep afraid enough to never ask why. This is important. Grunch isn't a conspiracy theory, it's just old design. Systems built in a scarcity world still running the same programming in a world that outgrew it.
48Fuller's answer to grunge wasn't anger. It wasn't fighting the system head-on. Fighting an old system just feeds it more attention, more energy, more of your life. It was something much simpler. Generalized principles. The actual laws of the universe. Physics. Synergy. Nature. The same laws that made the sun, the water, the oxygen. Weren't those laws instead of the system's rules? and grunge loses its grip, not because you defeated it, because you stopped needing its permission. Here's the good news in all of this. Grunge only works on people who don't know it exists. The moment you can see it, you're already halfway out of it.
37That's why Fuller taught me all of this in the first place. Not to make me angry at the system, to make me free of it. There's still one question left though, the one my own life had been spent answering, and it's the same one that Facebook post was really asking, whether the people sharing it realized it or not. So let's go back to where we started. That quote, the one that went viral. You can choose to live in a world of not enough money or a world of too much money. People didn't share that because it sounded nice. They shared it because some part of them already knew it was true, and nobody had ever given them the proof.
23Now you have it. Not a feeling, not a slogan. A planet that's 80 % water. A sun that gives away more energy than we could ever spend. Oxygen that never runs out. a universe built on abundance from the ground up. Poverty was never the law. Scarcity was never the law. It was a design flaw, sold to you by systems that needed you scared to keep running. That's the whole game Grunch was playing, and that's exactly why that Facebook post spread the way it did. People weren't hoping it was true. They were remembering something they'd always suspected, something the whole universe had been showing them their entire lives, if anyone had ever pointed it out.
21This is important. Poor Dad's world was real. It's not gone because you heard a podcast. But it's also not permanent. It never was. The same way Rich Dad had a choice, every single day of his life, you have one too. Not someday, not when things calm down, right now, while you're listening to this. So here's the real question, not whether abundance is real. You already know that now. The question I've spent my life answering was simpler and harder than that. Are you serving or are you guarding? Every job, every business, every dollar decision you make this week. One of those questions runs quietly underneath it, whether you notice it or not.
15Poor dad guarded out of love. Out of fear, he learned honestly from a world that taught him scarcity was real. I learned to serve because rich dad planted the belief and a strange architect, my other rich dad, finally proved it to me. because one of those builds a world of too much money and the other one just feels safe. Thank you for your time. Thank you for caring about your future. Thank you for understanding that you are the only one who cares about taking care of you. Take care. Thanks for listening to my show. "A world of too much money." That's the world Rich Dad said you could choose — and the world most people never find, because of a lie almost nobody questions.
Robert Kiyosaki breaks down the Facebook post that went viral overnight: "You can choose to live in a world of not enough money or a world of too much money. That choice is up to you." Behind that quote is a lesson from Robert's own second mentor — his "other rich dad" — an architect almost nobody's heard of, who proved with physics, not positive thinking, that scarcity was never a law of nature. It was manufactured.
In this episode: why the universe is built for abundance, the real difference between chasing money and chasing a mission, and the century-old system that profits when you believe the lie instead of the proof.
That's the lie. And once you see it, you're already standing closer to a world of too much money.
