0:28They say you should learn something new everyday.

0:34Where are the winds coming from then? Where are the winds coming from? We've thought we've had this thing all along, haven't we? We'll be fine.

0:54We've got games at home still to come. we don't win games at home

1:04we'll be fine because there's teams worse than us in the league are there? like are there genuinely are there actually teams worse than us in the league? because in the form sense in the last year the only team that is actually worse than us in the league is Wolves.

1:31I'm keeping one eye on West Ham at the moment as it stands who are still one that up. Leeds came back from behind to draw 2-2 with Chelsea. We ain't doing that at Stamford Bridge. We're not doing that in a million years at Stamford Bridge.

1:56And we're in a relegation fight and I'm not singling him out. I sort of am, but my point is I don't blame him entirely. But the point I'm trying to make is we're in a relegation fight and we're relying on players like Randall Colomawani to dig us out of that relegation battle, right? Dig us out of that fight. a player who at the best of times hasn't looked like he could care less about playing for Spurs has apparently spent the entirety of January begging to leave the club begging to leave the club and that's where our standards are as a football club that's where our self-respect is as a football club that we have a player begging to leave a lone player who hasn't even been that good for us begging to leave and we cling on to to him for him to what to lead the charge to save us from relegation and it's not on him he doesn't owe Tottenham anything if he wants to go let him go I don't I don't actually bear him any ill will he got a loan to us because I guess he wanted to play ahead of the World Cup we've not really played him he hasn't really settled fine he wants to go He's got his own reasons.

3:15My point is about the club. The club who have had months of, you know, the way a player like Mawani has been playing. And let's not just say Mawani, right? There's plenty of players. There's plenty of players you can dig out. There's plenty of holes in the squad that we've seen develop over this season. We have to sit there. We have to sit there and see Johan Langer tell us, act like he's above it all, We're not going to get drawn into a panic buy. We're not going to get drawn into panic buys. When do you make panic buys, mate?

3:54Like, you know, we sat above the relegation zone, if you haven't noticed. Most of our best players have been injured for the whole season, so that's not new. It's not new information that James made. The injured players will return. and then days later Thomas Frank's telling us that Kulisevsky's not going to play again all season is James Madison going to play again this season probably not the injured players will return well it's no good to us this year is it what we just write off a season is there is there any guarantee that Kulisevsky comes back and is any is half the player he was before?

4:34Same question for James Madison.

4:39And as I say, we've got Randall Calamani begging to leave the football club, begging to leave the football club. We don't just let him go. We don't get on with our own business. We don't think we need somebody that's hungry. We need somebody who wants to be here. And you can say whatever you want about his ability, his standard. I can tell you now, Dane Scarlett would be giving something. Dane Sculloch would at least be giving something. If he got the opportunity to run onto that pitch for Tottenham Hotspur, his boyhood club, to try and save us from relegation, I guarantee you he would be giving everything, everything he could.

5:16And that's exactly what we need in this situation. It looks like I'm smiling. I don't enjoy this at all. like I this is a farce it's it's farcical and I think to be honest after like the the transfer window and everything I've been trying to sort of keep a lid on it trying to like you know okay right well let's you know let's try and see the point he's making and this now but there's nothing to it is it negligence is it incompetence is it uh an arrogance to think that that spurs aren't aren't going to go down, that we couldn't possibly be put in that position. What are they thinking? What are they, like, what are they thinking?

6:06I genuinely feel like, and you can call this dramatic, I genuinely feel like we're watching our club fall to pieces in front of our eyes. You've got a half-empty stadium tonight, and I don't blame anybody for that. I'm not holding anybody against that because you've priced a Newcastle game as Category A. You've got a load of season ticket holders that don't even want to go tonight because of how terrible it is because of the slop that they've been dealt all season.

6:43What are we doing here?

6:48What are we doing here? Like, and this isn't, this doesn't bring me any joy. This isn't some I told you so, but I've been saying for weeks now, you can track our form. You can track our form over months. It's not some knee jerk. It was, it's never been some knee jerk thing, some melodramatic take because I enjoy it. Or because it's going to get me more viewers. Look, I hate to break it. I enjoy doing this, right? and I do all right but I'm not do you know I mean I'm not doing this because I get I don't get last word on spurs or Chris Cowlin views or anything like that do you know I mean you know I'm not doing this to like appeal to some broad audience I do this because this is the sort of things I feel and what I've felt now and not just me plenty of people who have who have watched this watch this decline, this managed decline for months.

7:46This is months and months and months of Tottenham not being in a blip. This isn't just a spell of bad form. This is a prolonged just disintegration of the football club, at least in a playing, at the very least in a playing sense. I'm sure the coffers are doing just fine right but let's see how they do next season let's see how they do next season if we are in the championship

8:24harry harry harry kane and son hyun mingo and they genuinely thought they didn't have to javi simmons javi simmons is an attempt at a marquee signing. I see that, you know, I'm not going to go back on that. But equally, there's probably, I think we can say, can't we? And I don't think it's revisionist to say, I think we can say there's always been an element of straw clutching there, that he's the marquee signing. And you can't replace Kane and Son. I get that. You can't replace Kane and Son. Tottenham are not, you know, they're not in a position to be able to attract a player that was of the calibre of a prime Kane or Son.

9:12I get that.

9:18But they're definitely in a position to be doing a hell of a lot more than they've done, both in summer and in this winter transfer window.

9:29Connor Gallagher, I've tried to be on side of it. I've tried to be on side of it. tonight a joke farcical performance from him exactly just confirmed all the sort of worst feelings I had about him you're not controlling the game with him there he is another Hojbjerg type player great he can run in he can bring some energy this and that every now and again fine if you want that sort of thing if you want any sort of control in the game if you want any sort of foothold in the game, the sort of foothold we've lacked for, what, two years now, at least, in any sort of football match. We're buying him for.

10:08I know why we're buying him, because he was available, because he's English, because he wants to come back to London, because there's not going to be much of a fight getting him over the line. The standards are just through the floor. There's been no thought to anything. There's been no care. There's been nothing. And we say this stuff and like this stuff is sort of palmed off as trite. This stuff is palmed off as like wobble-headed fan crap. But every fucking time I open up my computer and I look at Instagram or I look at Twitter or whatever, I see another fucking shirt from that football club coming through.

10:53What have we got today? Chinese New Year training kit. What have we had before? The whiteout FA Cup kit. They put enough care and attention into doing that shit, into siphoning money out of the fan base constantly at every single turn. Ticket prices go up. Newcastle's a category A game now. When do you play your part? When do you play your part? You build this massive state. You knock down White Hart Lane that the majority of us were perfectly happy with. You could have added another stand, like Liverpool have done at Anfield. You could have added another stand onto the old White Hart Lane, remodelled one or two of the stands, probably up the capacity to 50 ,000.

11:38People would have been just fine with that. But no, we had to knock that down. We had to build this thing. We had to build this thing that can't even sell out now, this thing that's got no atmosphere, that nobody can afford to go to, that nobody wants to go to. and you don't even do your part. You don't even do your part. You don't even buy the players to play in a ground like that. You don't even buy the players to justify the sort of prices. You charge people to come and watch this pitiful football club. And I don't say that lightly. I love Tottenham Hotspur. I love this football. I don't like calling it pitiful.

12:15I don't like doing this dragging it down. But I'm talking about this current iteration of it is pitiful. This is a joke.

12:25it's a joke. And the thing, the thing that's maddening about this, the thing that makes us all want to tear our hair out and scream into the ether is that we're the ones that are getting the blame. The fans are the one that are getting the blame game after game after game. You turn on, you turn on any of this analysis, any of it on any channel, anything like that. Oh, the fans aren't happy. The fans don't give you an easy time at White Hart Lane. The fans, the fans, the fans, the fans are booing, the fans are doing this, the fans are doing that. Thomas Frank, before this game, we need our fans on side.

13:02Well, he just gets away with what is, I'm telling you categorically, at 40 years old, the worst iteration of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club I have ever seen in my entire life. christian gross step down my christian gross you're off the shelf mate that's it fine go and relax now you can join the rest of the lads in the smoking parlor get your jacket you're you're in you're in you're you're out from the cold now mate go on go sit down in front of the fire right you are not the worst anymore you are not the worst in 10 20 years time thomas frank is the name that rings around the halls of White Hart Lane.

13:46Thomas Frank is the guy. That's it. That's the guy. The guy that none of us were really that sold on. The guy that, yeah, many of us try to, I, myself included, try to see the best in it. Try to kind of, you know, make sense of it or whatever. Because you don't want to spend a whole season being miserable about it, right? and there were a few people who went early and I don't think anybody predicted it would go this badly but there were a lot of people at least that predicted that the football would not be pretty to say the least I mean this isn't just football that isn't pretty like football that isn't pretty but is at least effective that has Tottenham now sat in 8th place I don't think I'm sat here losing my arse at that I'm probably a bit dour, but I'm not like this.

14:40I'm not embarrassing myself on a webcam like I am right now. The sort of thing I'm going to wake up cringing about because I'm all emotional and angry about Tottenham. 40-year-old man sat here shouting into a microphone. I mean, it's pathetic. It is pathetic, but all of this is pathetic, you know? If the glove fits, like, is it the shoe fits? Is it a glove or a shoe? both works, doesn't it? The hat fits? Is it a hat now? Am I introducing new items of attire? I don't know. If the lingerie fits, then I'll slip into it and you can all enjoy it.

15:28I don't know, man. I, I, I, I'm sorry to say, man, we're going. with that attitude we will fine whatever if you want to call it a negative if you think I have an effect on this fine I apologise but we're gone we're going

15:51I don't think I've ever been more sure of something with regard to Tottenham Hotspur in a very long time

16:03we knocked down White Hart Lane we built this thing take us to the next level and yet we carried on we carried on in the same way and every now and again and i save it you know when opposition fan bases or when tottenham briefed the media about how much money we've spent we don't yeah we spend money flip it to flip it to wage tables we're always down at the bottom like yeah it's probably started to change a little bit. Xavi Simmons is probably on a packet. Connor Gallagher's probably on a fair bit.

16:43How much is Wilson Odderbear on? You know what I mean? Tell me that. How much is Archie Gray on? How much is Lucas Bergvall on? Right? Yeah? How much is Reddy Dragosin on? How much is Vicario on? You know, this is like the spine of our team. We're talking about players probably on 40, 50 grand a year. Now we get told Tottenham spend, Tottenham spend is really high. Tottenham one of the highest spending clubs. No, we're not.

17:23Opportunistic, opportunistic signings, young players. but we've had year after year after year year after year after year after year transfer window after transfer window after transfer window of false promises of bang average signings year on year on year and every single year you've had people like me and you've had plenty of other podcasters that aren't even, I've never even been like at the very fringes of it. I've never been purple and gold. I've never done any of that stuff. But I've always said, I've always questioned the intent that the club shows. And you get told, ah, it's just being negative.

18:12You're being negative. And year after year, after year, after year, like I say, the Trigger's Broom effect, The ship of Theseus, all of that, right? Every single piece that gets replaced is worse, isn't it? You know? I mean, that's not exactly how Trigger's broom and stuff work, but what I'm saying is that it's a poor analogy, all right? I'm not going to... It's a poor analogy. I'm simply trying to say every single piece that we put in is worse. So it's completely not that. I'm just trying to sound clever, pathetic again. I'm calling myself out. I'm just sat here arguing with myself because Tottenham Hotspur have got me wound up.

18:54I'm going to have an abysmal night's sleep. I'm going to wake up in an abysmal mood.

19:03And we've got a North London derby next.

19:09We've got a North London derby next and we've got who to save us. At least last time we were in a relegation battle we had Jürgen Klinsmann. What have we got? What have we got?

19:26Who's coming to save Tottenham? Who's doing it?

19:33Yeah. It's done, lads. It's done. I can't brightside this. I don't know what to say. I don't know what to tell you. Like, we're gone. We don't win games.

19:52Newcastle have been in disgusting form. A good pal of mine, Alan, who I used to work with, Jordy Lads, he was texting me before the game saying, you know, enjoy this. You know, this will get you back on track. Like, we're terrible. And I was like, mate, have you seen Spurs? He was like, no, no, no, no, no. honestly honestly Newcastle at the moment we're as bad we're as bad as we've been in years blah blah blah blah blah blah blah and I said mate honestly this is this is there's nothing there's nothing better is there than when somebody tells you the a b part of a conversation they've had with somebody that you don't know but I've committed to the bit now um I was just saying to him no this is this is the worst this is the worst I've ever seen this he was like oh yeah we'll enjoy the game he just texts me saying that's we haven't controlled a game like that in over a year

20:58like Newcastle have been in disgusting form we're at home what games are we winning where are the points coming from What games are we not losing? What games are we not losing?

He's got to go. and whoever it is, if it's Cochran in charge, if it's Robbie Keane, if it's Tim Sherwood, whoever, he has got to go. He's got to go. This is rotten. This is rotten. Yeah, he hasn't always been, he hasn't, he hasn't, he hasn't been dealt the perfect handle, that type of stuff. There's nothing to this. There's absolutely nothing to this. there's not a single glimmer there's not even a hint of progress we're over halfway into the season now I haven't seen a single discernible trait positive trait that Thomas Frank has coached into this team nothing nothing I've seen for months now the same routine over and over and over again.

24:00And that sort of arrogant, dismissive tone that he has, and he does, he looks warm, he looks tired, but still his outward exterior, when he's talking about like the fans or talking about anything to do with that, is this dismissive sort of arrogance about it all.

24:26he's got to go he's got to go even if even if it is just simply a wing and a prayer that we get some sort of bounce out of it that's what we've got to do now you know he is taking us down and there's no there's no two ways about it he's taking us down it's not even a gamble it's not a gamble anymore it's not a gamble get him gone get him gone and put somebody else in like I said even give it Cochran let's see what Cochran can do

25:09by all accounts, him and Cochran have been falling out about the hesitancy with which Frank approaches games, so on and so forth. It's all hearsay, you know, the stuff you see, I don't know, feels a little bit no smoke without fire, but still.

25:33If he's going to come in, fine. Let's do it. but anybody rather than this. This cannot go on. We have a break now. What is it? 12 days. We have 12 days. Get somebody in. The thing is, do you know what? The thing is, a few weeks ago, and let's be honest, not many of us would have taken Michael Carrick. Not many of us would have taken Michael Carrick at all. And look at the effect that's had on Manchester United. A team that was in a similar, toxic, messy kind of place as Spurs were. And speaking of Manchester United, just equalised, 96th minute.

26:30you know that's the the boot off our neck ever so slightly ever so slightly

26:44but it ain't looking good oh man thank you R I can't see your name but somebody has been like a he's done like a super donation thing on the stream thank you i appreciate that i haven't if you've written a comment i haven't seen oh here we go no no you have robert palmer sorry here we go click on it now um klinsman with hewton and mason assistance until the end of the season vibes league knowledge club knowledge why not like honestly why not in the past i've sort of moaned about the idea of bringing Jürgen Klinsmann into the club oh he hasn't done a very good job as a manager blah blah blah blah you know there'd be something there'd be something quite poetic about the last time we were in a relegation battle being saved by Jürgen Klinsmann and him coming back to do it again in a different capacity um

27:47do you know what I know he didn't go well at West Brom but I'd even have Ryan Mason back at this point I genuinely would have Ryan Mason back

28:00I think he'd do something my phone's just vibrated just want to make sure I'm not being told I'm being too loud with a sleeping baby no

28:17Rob Stone says Why are you doing that? That's Siri shouting at me now. Stop it. Rob Stone says My head is on Uranus. Oh, I thought I could feel something. Relegation, here we come.

28:43really 82 says i've lost all feeling do you think tickets will be cheaper in the championship i actually i actually posed this question to twitter and there was an overwhelming no people do not think that tickets will be any cheaper whatsoever in the championship which yeah you can see it can't you straight away others added economic pressures it doesn't cost any less to police games blah blah blah blah blah blah blah some mealy-mouthed crap that we'll just have to do i mean sit and take on the chin oh okay

29:28peter turner says to me don't worry jack we're not going down don't be so dramatic but then he's done a winky face he's done a winky face there I'm on to you Peter

29:44Dimitri says we're going to go down and Arsenal will win a treble yeah I mean let's be real Arsenal are at least winning the league I think Arsenal have already won the Premier League I know I don't want to talk about Arsenal. I don't care. I'm not talking about Arsenal today.

30:08Paul Higginson says, do you think Thomas Frank will get sacked if we go down? I'd like to think he would. I'd like to think he's going to get sacked now. I'd like to think he's going to get sacked after tonight. Because that's just disgraceful.

30:25Echosonic Music says, it's the hope that kills. The hope that someone, anyone at the club will do the right thing at any time. Bang on, mate.

30:38James Reid says, Arsenal in the league, West Ham beat us to 17th. Chelsea relegate us at Stamford Bridge on the penultimate game of the season. More inevitable than time itself. How has this happened? As I said before, one of you, one of you, or probably several of you, sold your soul for that Europa League last year, didn't you? this is what happens

31:05Alex Paramore says I cannot believe they've allowed this to happen we could see back in November that this isn't working we're in free fall and I'm not sure we can be saved sacking or not I mean it's the final it's the final Hail Mary he has to go he has to go or we go it's like it is as simple as that it is as stark as that I don't know if it's even possible to get that message across to the people that run the club. And I know that sounds so naive. That sounds so ridiculous. But like we are genuinely in a place now where you just feel like somebody has to tell whoever it is that's in charge of this football club that we are going down.

31:52Maybe you don't understand football. Maybe you haven't watched it enough. Maybe, you know, the way you view football through a business lens gives you different insight. But what it does give you is the wrong insight as to what's happening right now. And what's happening right now is Tottenham Hotspur are hurtling towards relegation. Hurtling towards relegation. No ifs, no buts. That's where we're going.

32:25Stel Morrison says, Category A price is half empty ground. Curious what the pricing strategy is when we're hosting Stoke next season.

32:37Sober the Greek, we're now short at odds than Leeds to go down.

32:45Ryan Andrew legitimately terrified only chance we stay up now is sacking him just to change something anything Ares 7000 we're in deep deep trouble Alex Paramore also says oh he's had his ears lowered I have it was it was disgusting my hair was my hair was an absolute do you know what in the last in the last stream I was just sat there playing with it because I could see it and it was just disgusting. It was a hedge. So yeah, I have had it. I have had my ears lowered.

33:22It's Greasby says, I cannot believe the board have let it get this bad. He should have gone months ago. Yep. Day Spurs says, Only Burnley are worse than us. I don't even know if they are, mate. James Nicholson, I haven't felt this close to relegation being a likelihood since Klinsman had to come back and save us. Who is saving us this time? Exactly, mate. Exactly. That's what I'm saying. Who is coming in and saving this? Who?

33:57Cliff M says, best stadium in the championship. You'll never sing that. Simon Rush. we still need to play Palace, Leeds and Forest which really bothers me do you know what I mean these are the fixtures that are held up as we'll be alright we've got those games to play really? do you know what I mean are we sure about that? are we sure?

34:28James Forster says hijack, gutless manager, gutless team gutless board, I'm feeling sick just imagine every team around the country and the buzz they'll get thinking they can actually send us down motivation galore i mean remember the motivation they all had when they wanted to stop us from winning the premier league in that leicester year

34:52people call this stuff like a victim complex but it's there like you know turn on the darts turn on the darts and hear what they hear what they'll probably start singing premier league's on on thursday darts premier league crowd i wouldn't be surprised if they gave a blast to tottenham get bad at some point you know to be fair i think it's i think it's in like the netherlands is it this one or maybe it's cardiff i can't remember whatever we're massive center of the universe um dozzino says why not try something different absolute madness the kids aren't getting a run at this stage it's clear some of the big names aren't up to the fight yeah 100 percent

35:42cracker 130 says i hate this team there is not one player i'd keep next season not one exclamation mark don't really disagree with you mate Isle of Lily White says thanks Jack thanks as always no of course mate thank you how good are Archie Gray and Gallagher going to be in the championship that's a 100 point double pivot right there jokes aside we are actually going down aren't we blimey

36:13it genuinely is looking that way mate in my opinion I just think we've got that stink about us we've got the stink about us and it's compounded by the fact that we are getting bad luck as well. You can't mitigate for Danso getting injured, Odeberg getting injured tonight, looked like his knee was done, I don't know, but, you know.

36:41Darren 223 says, I wonder if the media will continue to say Frank needs more time. If you do want to read a good piece that isn't hopelessly and pathetically franking, Sean Walsh for gold.com has written a piece about pretty much why Frank has to go. And bear in mind, Sean has been a correspondent for a number of London clubs, including Brentford, and was very complimentary of Thomas Frank at the start. And actually, I think Sean was one of the people that was like, I actually think this might be a good signing. but he is not putting his ego or anything like that. He's not, you know, worried about people retweeting old positive tweets about Thomas Frank.

37:25He's, he's been honest. He's, you know, he's looking at it honestly and saying Spurs are in trouble. And Frank is a big part of that. And he has to go. So give it a read. His Twitter at is Sean DZ Walsh. You can find his article there. It's really good.

37:47George Watkins, booked twice for diving in our own half, Frank Ball. I thought the Xavi-Siemens one was a bit harsh, personally. I thought he was just getting out of the way of a pretty clumsy challenge, but yeah, you know, it's not a good look, is it, anyway?

38:07Wellex says, there are no easy matches in the Premier League. I watch easy matches every week. Yeah.

38:16dayspur says we need to find 40 points it's for i mean it's 40 points even going to be enough now i don't know but yeah i mean yeah actually you know like a state of the premier league um yeah we probably do and i don't i honestly don't see how we get that mate

38:41in our next few games Arsenal obviously Fulham away Palace Liverpool away I mean Forest at home is massive Forest at home is absolutely massive I mean being real we're not beating Arsenal Fulham probably losing Palace I'd like to think we can win but I you know I would have thought we would have won tonight. Liverpool were obviously losing. Forest at home, again, I'd like to think we can win. Sunderland away, probably losing. Brighton at home. Wolves away, massive. Villa away, not a chance. Leeds at home, massive. Chelsea away, I mean, Jesus, man. And then Everton at home on the last day of the season.

39:49error 7000 says what really scares me is if we go down we might not come back up for a while we might not but we might i i don't know i'm sort of torn on that there's a part of me that wonders if we would actually just you know slap up the championship pretty easily um come back with a bit of a spring in our step but the thing is you do come back up from the championship you've got a massive you've got a massive rebuild to do because unequivocally if if if we go down van der ven's gone romero's gone i mean mohani's already out the door there'll probably be a A couple of other big casualties, Xavi Siemens, I imagine would try to get a move somewhere.

40:38I can't imagine he'd fancy playing in the championship. Who spends money on him? I don't know. But we'd have to rip it up and start again. Maybe we would see. Maybe we would see more of the youngsters bloodied.

40:56I'm not bright-siding getting relegated. I'm not doing it. I'm not doing it. I'm not getting caught into those warped conversations about how it would actually be good for us. I'm not getting caught into those weird alleyways of this is what Enoch deserves, so I hope we do get relegated. Don't kid yourself, man. Don't kid yourself. Spurs going down is hell. It's hell. The year Arsenal win the league, we get relegated. Do me a favour, mate. do me a favour if you think that's a good thing for Tottenham Hotspur not a chance

41:4110M Scali says we're gone sack him but it won't make a difference

41:53Ankur sorry Ankurian says honestly what is our board smoking

42:06Capote says that was chest crushingly bad James Currigan says it's so bad right now and relegation is a reality I feel crazy for even suggesting this but but do we get Allardyce in um which other available coach could stop us from going down imagine imagine i joked about that last week just as like the thing to see like nathan or kish's head explode once and for all but imagine imagine we go from jose marino to sam allardyce i mean the football is fairly similar so phil spur 1882 says a four billion pound football club that's a laugh Gase Tronic says leaving him in post would be massive negligence from the board I'm officially worried Ricochet Pig says looking doomed Phil Mayo, all these dudes Vinay, Frank, Langer, Hucksters sold as a monorail yeah

43:15HackerCPS says Vinay is the issue, I mean he's one of many isn't he, I think, honestly but he's definitely up there

43:24Ridley82 says I wish we had Skip and Winks but mate I'd take him take a pair of him honestly

43:34Ricochet Pig says I don't know how clear it was on the TV but the lack of movement was horrific oh yeah it was clear mate it was clear um Phil was there and he was texting me saying like we are dead mate like it's even it's even worse in the ground than than you can imagine he's just saying like the general vibe is everyone just hates the club now everyone hates the club nobody is happy here look around and you know everyone just hates it

45:45Slanehawk says, I don't blame Kolemwani, who would want to play for us. Yeah, like I say, I mean, my point was, I don't blame him. I don't actually really bear him any ill will. But my point is, when you have a lone player that says they want to leave the club, let him go. It's on the club. It's on the club to say, this guy doesn't want to be here anymore. We don't need to force him. Ship him out. Get somebody else in. that's too much effort, isn't it? That's too much effort for them to do that. It would seem. But that's what a proper club does. Proper club doesn't stand for that. Proper club doesn't stand for a player begging to leave or window.

46:26Then you hold on to them. And you hold on to them to save you from relegation. Are you mad?

46:38Wyatt West says, I'm so tired of everything tired of being a rebound match for any other club the spin is bored and this awful manager and bad results tired of the injuries I'm with you mate Stuart Venner says if you're purposely trying to sink a club what would you do differently to what we've seen over the past six months Eddie Hubbard says sleepwalking into relegation I don't think we're even sleepwalking anymore mate I think we've I think we've had a couple of cans of monster and we're behind the we're behind the wheel wheel of a of some little like souped up ford gti or something do you know I mean the type that you see like bombing it around redding town center or something like that or any provincial town center for that matter of hard house playing do you know I mean but that's that's what we're doing right now got a little baggy speed in our pocket that's that's what we're going into relegation doing uh spoiler spoiler and undercar undercar neons like enhancements to the car that are worth more than the car itself and it looks terrible

48:06Ridley says Newcastle didn't even start a striker tonight yeah Yorkshire Spurs says I feel completely done done in by this no joy in any of it yeah mate it's miserable this is horrible this is genuinely horrible and I know like I'm probably being quite trite and I'm trying to add a bit of like you know like levity to it all and everything but

48:35I'm upset as Andy Neiman would say in Whiplash

48:45and on Nomad said is the stadium paid off will the loans we've used to build it be compromised by relegation is our club in danger of being homeless well mate this is I can't remember who it was I was talking to but are we in that genuinely are we in that position where we end up like a Coventry where we're renting our own stadium. Somebody comes in, some, I don't know, some third party comes in, buys our ground to use it as an event space and we have to rent it for match days. I don't know, but is that a reality? I shouldn't imagine so. I think our owners are literal billionaires. They have loads and loads of billions.

49:23So, you know.

49:29Toby Jones says what's happening to our club Thomas Mullins says get Robbie Keane in now I said we'd get relegated Birkenshaw team was better than this lot this is the worst manager ever I mean that's stark mate obviously I don't quite remember those times but it's stark if you can make that comparison and say that that's really quite worrying Debs JL says I truly can't believe this is happening what a complete shambles from the elation of winning the Europa League to this I didn't go tonight I have a season ticket I just can't bear to watch it I mean that's just miserable isn't it and you like you say and this is the thing do you know just allow me this allow me this one little pissant moany boohoo poor me poor me moment but like it's the fact that after 17 years well after whatever it is 40 years really since we won a european trophy we won something significant we win a europa league we have a nice big open top bus parade down the seven sisters the thing we've all dreamed of for a long long time right we can't even enjoy that can't even enjoy because we're in this we're in this hole

50:52just a few months later the club again just cannot build on anything the club can't build on any sort of momentum or anything whether you're Ange in or Ange out right stick with Ange build on that build behind him use that momentum that he built up winning that trophy you want to get rid of Ange and you still were an Ange out person fine look at it as a clean slate look at it as a clean slate learn from what happened last year learn from what happens when the squad gets so threadbare they're having to like try and clutch onto any sort of result whatsoever but do they learn do they fuck nothing at all nothing was learned from last year no nothing no leaf was turned over nothing at all they brought in this PE teacher and they expected it to what somehow do what if you've literally you've got Vinay Venkateshin sat there a few months ago saying we stuck with Mikel Arteta so we're going to stick with him

52:00and you really are just like is that is that is that the limit of is that the limit of thought that's gone into all of this? Is that truly where we're at? Is that where we're at? Is that where your thinking is at? Is that your footballing strategy? It worked for me at Arsenal. The club that also spends loads of money, spends loads on wages, spends loads on transfers.

52:35is already a big club that is favourably spoken about by the media. You know? That has already still got some pull to bring players to it. You know, I hate to say it, but more than us. Your strategy is it worked with Arteta, who also, lest we forget, got a season of behind-closed-doors football, so didn't have to face any crowd toxicity when his team was a shambles. It worked with Arteta, so I'm going to stick with Thomas Frank, a guy who has looked so woefully out of his depth for months. It's pathetic. It's pathetic.

53:27I'll have to leave what I said. Exactly. Mawani could have definitely been in that QPR team a few years ago. 100%, 1000%. That's entirely what it is.

53:43Matt Chris says, Europe might be the bane of us.

53:49I'm hot-headed, right? I'm heated at the moment. I hope we go out of the Champions League. I hope we go out because it is now just a massive distraction. I know the whole jokes and stuff. I know it. I know the jokes are, I hope we win the Champions League and get relegated. Oh, that'll be funny. We ain't winning the Champions League. We simply are not doing that. We're not winning it. It is now a distraction. We can't have it. Like we, we need to concentrate on the league. We can't risk any more players getting injured. We can't have the fatigue of it. I hope we get knocked out of it. Sorry. I do.

54:27I hope we're gone. I hope next round, I hope we get a stinking draw. and I hope we get slapped and then we can focus on the Premier League. I want us out of it.

54:43Somebody called Charlotte Hussey here who says, anyone who thinks we won't get relegated based on the idea that we're too big, a club does not understand how it works. You have to be at least the 17th best mathematically. We're in big trouble. We are. Masses of trouble.

55:07Toby Jones says, a decade ago, we were the best team in the country for about three years. Has there ever been a bigger fall in Premier League history from any other club? Maybe Leeds or something, but I reckon Spurs could be the worst ever. Honestly speaking, mate, honestly speaking, Manchester United. I think Manchester United is the answer. You know, they, you know, they've gone from being a team that were the best team in the world for a long time and look at them now, you know, scrabbling around in the dirt, hoping they can win four or five games in a row so some simp can get a haircut. That's not fair.

55:47I don't need to call him a simp. He's just a kid. That's harsh. I'll take that back. I'm just lashing out. I'm just lashing out because I'm angry.

56:05Chief Factor says, Frank needs to go, but an utter joke to do it now after the January transfer window. How are these people paid money? I know. I know.

56:18Fridges on fire says, you're being unfair on Gallagher. He was asked to play right midfield by your manager. I don't care if I'm being unfair on Gallagher. I think he's crap. and it's my podcast and I'll say whatever I want here we go Deuce is wild Radu Dragasin is an atrocity of a footballer we don't win Europa last year if he stays fit and his agent can do one yes that's the energy burn it all down burn it all down Sam Guttridge says we could be bottom three in a fort fortnight.

57:04Richard Hanscom says, this is so bleak, isn't it? Uh, a low. I hate that I can't check out of this. Thanks for being here, Jack. Thank you for being here as well, mate. This, you know, shared, shared therapy, this isn't it? Um, Benedict Fox says, I am really in shock. I wish I was numb but I'm not this is a shocking state of affairs and I cannot believe they have put us here and are treating it all with such neglect yeah

57:38Toby Jones says something about big houses and furniture yep he said it didn't he I wonder if he'll come if we're in the championship would he does he love us that much does he love us that much he'll come pull us out of the championship we'll have to see won't we ample sample says time to start looking at good pubs for away games in Watford's just Keith says the whole thing is rotten from the top down no will no desire no passion if we go down we will struggle to come back up it's devastating to see what's happening coys yeah Marcy248 says We don't look like we're being coached properly No patterns of play Players don't want to pass forwards Slow, hesitant This is on the manager and on the board Bang on Bang on Marcy

58:47Pirate Dread Roberts says the stadium is taking us to another level. We just didn't know it was going to be a lower one. Yeah, it does feel that way, doesn't it? Toby Jones has also said, does anyone just have a general loathing of Spurs? The least likable team for ages? Agree. An uninspiring manager? Agree. An incompetent ownership? Agree. Nothing about the club I love anymore besides memories and hope for the future. At least you've got hope. At least you've got hope, mate. There you go. That's one thing.

59:22MJBTHFC1991 says, 15 points from the last 19 league games. We are sinking fast and we need an interim in now to rescue us. Yep. Wilson T says, Jack, we're in trouble. I've got that feeling. We're heading over a cliff without a parachute. Premier League ever present as well. Sad times. Yep. That's it. I hate that as well. That's, that's what I, I hate the thought of Spurs going down, but I get stuck on these funny little details and stuff. I think that's just being human, right? But I get stuck on these little details, like Spurs being an ever-present in the Premier League is something to be proud of.

1:00:01People like to make fun of us, your Villas, your Newcastles as well will join in, but they've been down. We haven't, you know? And that's something I like to feel that we can cling on to. Everton have come close and still always manage to like get away from it. This is our turn now, isn't it? You know, and it ain't fun.

1:00:25Papa Booth says, don't cry because it's happened. Smile because it's over. There might be something in there. I don't know, mate.

1:00:38Fran Mulvaney says, he can't have that Arsenal game. it will be a pounding embarrassment to our football club and probably the nail in the coffin to sending us down. Yeah, he can't. He can't. He's got to go. He's got to go. He has to go.

1:01:08I'm just trying to see. Cormac Carey says throughout the post-match presser Frank was aloof and unworried about being fired that alone is offensive to people who currently care about the club yes that's a very good way of putting it and I agree

1:01:26Phil Mayo says he's had a little shot at Conte saying other managers have come here and lost their heads he's utterly clueless and hopelessly arrogant yeah I think so like I you know I really do think so um

1:01:47from Avani also says we sold our soul leaving White Hart Lane yeah

1:01:58oh man I can't believe we're here to I genuinely man I just I can't believe I'm here talking about this now you know like after we won that Europa and all the goodwill

1:02:15and again the promises it'll be different this time

1:02:22here we are genuinely talking about Spurs Ptolema Hotspur football club maybe actually getting relegated the thing that like most years we kind of joke about would you take getting relegated if it meant that we know what's going to happen. We're going to get relegated and Arsenal are going to win the league. So we can't even use that chip anymore. We can't even say, well, you know, how about if we get relegated, they don't win the league. Let's offer that one to the universe. It ain't happening, is it?

1:02:57Jimmy Regal says we're facing the absolute nightmare scenario of Arsenal winning in the league, Chelsea sealing our relegation at Stamford Bridge, and West Ham surviving because of it. It absolutely stinks, doesn't it? Nell will have a nice little circle jerk over that as well. A circle jerk.

1:03:22Another frank quote from Jeremy Kinsella. I understand the fans' frustration. We are in a position we don't want to be in. It's also a situation the club has been in for almost two years at the end of last season as well. He said that he's convinced he'll be in charge for the North London Derby. I know it's easy to point at me, but it's about the whole club. I mean, man.

1:03:53Please just get rid of him. Please just get rid of him, man. You know, like, he's got to go.

1:04:05Oli Aznang says Hi Jack The club and Frank are constantly asking for more from the fans Anything but our opinion on whether the manager should remain in charge Yeah I know He's a thousand percent staying He's just said so in his press Just get rid of him man Just get rid of him

1:04:32Pit Walker says I get what you mean about the little details my one thing is that we won't be on the opening credits for match of the day Super Sunday etc yeah it's crap mate do you know what I mean all that type of stuff like another stupid another stupid little one right Mauricio Pochettino during that whole era of Mauricio Pochettino know I would reflect on here or just with mates and stuff just saying I cannot believe what he's done for this club like I've I've always been happy with Spurs being just sort of what they are just Spurs right and I'd always convince myself that was it if we got an FA Cup one day or something that would have been lovely right that would have been nice and then Pochettino came along and that group of players came along and then you suddenly realise like it's actually it's actually good being quality it's actually really nice being genuinely proud of your football club to go out there with your head held high to say yeah I'm a Spurs fan and we've slapped all of your teams in the past few years we're one of the best teams in Europe Real Madrid bang done them Dortmund Dunnham Arsenal Chelsea Sessions

1:05:59Everett

1:06:03but we can but we can reflect on what Spurs are and what he's turned us into and the platform he had given us that group of players that we had the stadium that we were building all that excitement

1:06:36and and

1:06:42I just you know to see it just go so sorry what's happened there I've just had a pause because the the stream has ended for some reason I don't know why I don't know what happened maybe I just went over

1:07:13I'm just telling people in stream to I'm going to end on this little soliloquy where basically Mauricio Pochettino allowed us to believe that this club was something more he put us in a position and I'm not saying this in a way to hark back for him to say come back, if he does come back in the summer whatever we'll see but we'll talk about that another time I'm reflecting on the past now and I'm talking about the fact that he put the club in such a place that we felt like we could achieve anything. We actually felt for the first time that Spurs could win the Premier League. That Spurs could maybe win the Champions League.

1:07:54That Spurs could replace Arsenal as the dominant force in North London.

1:08:02And the same arrogance, the same hubris that we saw in this transfer window took root with that board. The way they eked out, they rung dry every scent of, every tiniest drop of goodwill, hope, joy, optimism from all of that and gave nothing more to it, nothing more whatsoever. Never went out and bought the Virgil van Dijk or the Allison or the Declan Rice. that player that could actually go and win the league for us. They didn't do any of that. They watched it all four to pieces. And then what did they think they could do from that point? Get back there. Get back there with a load of opportunistic signings and poor planning and signing random geezers from the city group.

1:09:00Time and time and time again. Time and time again they showed their hand. time and time again the mask slipped and every single time we'd get the the note from the chairman at the end of the season or whatever that says oh you know it's very tough but we still have big dreams for this club come on you spurs we couldn't do it without your help we couldn't do it without your support and look at where they've dragged us to look at where we are now. It's a disgrace. It's disgusting. It's disgusting to see this football club in the way that it is. Yeah, I might be being dramatic. Maybe I'm being melodramatic.

1:09:42I don't know. But I think it's disgusting. I think it's disgusting to see Tottenham Hotspur play the way they've played for the last season and a half. For the club to continue to exploit the fans and not give them anything back in return. It's a disgrace. It's cheap. It's nasty. It's horrible. Just absolutely siphoning out all of the love and the joy that we have for this. This means something to all of us, you know? This is our relationships with our parents, with our families, with our children. And those don't go away. Don't get me wrong. Those don't go, that doesn't go away. But this isn't just a game, you know?

1:10:28It's our raw emotion. It's our love that we pour into this club. And they just use that and exploit it. And they're just rubbing their feet all over it, wiping their feet all over it, wiping their arses with it.

1:10:45It's just gross. It's gross.

1:10:53I think I've said more than enough for an evening. Thank you for sticking with me. if you have gotten there all this way.
