1:48So.
1:55That's pretty much that, isn't it? It's not. it's not mathematically done or anything like that but it's thematically done isn't it
2:13right we're actually we're actually we're actually going down
2:25I think James Moore said on the athletics on the view from the lane that Palace haven't scored more than like one goal in the majority of their football matches this season like they're they're in horrible form they've been awful
2:44and they've come to our ground taking a piss are laying
2:56and we're just we're just done we can look at the fixtures we can look at you know the games we've got coming up and all this and say oh this one's winnable that one's not winnable or Anfield away or Stamford Bridge, but we just don't. I don't even feel like we're capable of winning a football match. No, yeah.
3:36Do you know what I want to rant about? I tell you what I want to rant about. I want to rant about Mickey van der Ven and stuff, but I can't really be bothered to single out players at the moment or anything like that. What I want to rant about is that stadium. I want to complain. I hate it. And I've sort of minced my words on it. I have done for the entirety of the time that it's come here. And I've introspected. I've thought about the stadium. And I thought, you know, it's just because I've got to form new neural pathways and all that type of stuff. I had so many memories wrapped up in the old place.
4:14Of course, there's going to be an awkward period and all this type of stuff. But deep down in the pits of my soul, from the very first time I went there, I fucking hate that stadium. And I always have done. I think it's crap. I think it's, as I said, I think it's the brew dog pub equivalent of a football ground. Soulless. Do you know what I mean? I really I don't care how nice anybody thinks it is how swanky you think it is it's not football ground and for all the stuff that people will say because I've sort of tiptoed into this stuff before and I've been called an idiot don't you realize the operating revenue don't you realize the headroom this gives us we don't use it and we never have done and we're looking at less than a decade after this place has been opened we're literally getting relegated because the people who built this stadium continue to default back to using it as an excuse to neglect the footballing operation and this is where we find ourselves now.
5:2316-17 we went an entire season unbeaten at the old White Hart Lane and yes I know people say oh people revise history about the old White at Heart Lane, the atmosphere wasn't always great. It was more often than not very good. You know, I went to the old ground hundreds of times. I've been to this new ground, less than 50.
5:51Because I don't want to. I've never wanted to. I don't want to give the owners any more money. I don't want to give them any more excuses. And yeah, I get sucked in, whatever, fair weather every now and again for a big occasion but don't like it it's crap and you can't tell me it's good I don't care about concerts I don't care about boxing I don't care about NFL I don't care about the wiggle room it gives us for financial fair play or anything because we don't fucking use it it's just an excuse it's just it's a vanity project and it's a means to make money for the people that own the club and that's all that it's ever been that's all paid for it we've all paid for it they didn't put they didn't spend a penny of their own money building that now the club's in debt and what they're going to be able to do at the end of this season is get us relegated and sell the club to amanda staveley or whoever for however many billions of pounds for spending so little of their own money
6:56is an absolute travesty. What is going on at this club? And rival fans can have a laugh. Can you imagine being an arsehole fan right now? I put out a tweet earlier sort of saying like, you know, how cruel this is, how cruel it is that, you know, it's not like we're struggling to finish in the top four, top five now. All right. imagine you know we're in a dogfight with Villa Newcastle United all that and we drop out the top top five top six and Arsenal win the league that in itself is the horror timeline right this this them winning the lot and us going us actually getting relegated
7:46how are we supposed to I can't like I can't it's there it's there but I can't even begin I can't even begin to process that
7:57Sol Campbell winning the league at White Hart Lane Lasagna
8:05what do we get maybe they'll lose at Norwich way well done great will be we had a couple of months of fun after Bilbao and that's it that's our lot in it I don't care if it's feeling sorry for myself don't care if it's feeling sorry for Spurs
8:28it's disgusting man it's disgusting what these owners have done to us and the majority of us have said it and seen it and said it for years. I've said it for years how much they're mismanaging us, how much they're prioritising off-pitch success rather than the actual game of football. Somebody said to me on Twitter as well, when I said about hating the stadium, the other thing that it's done is, it's meant that they could deprioritise football because in the old ground, football was the money-making operation. That's how they made money, out of football. Now they don't even need to bother about it.
9:12I think there's, I don't know, one of the financial accounts or something said that Bad Bunny and the other NFL stuff and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, will probably see Spurs earn more than any other championship club alone. The non-footballing events at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will earn Spurs more than any other championship club will earn.
9:38And, you know, there's a lot of bright siding and I get it. People want to make themselves feel better. There's a lot of bright siding about us getting relegated. There's a lot of people saying that, you know, it's going to be a good chance to blood some youngsters and we can rebuild and come back strong. What are you on about, man? Like,
10:01we can rebuild and blood the youngsters and stay in the Premier League. it's even less likely that we're going to do that if we go down like you don't like Connor Gallagher now wait until we have a whole team of players like him that aren't as good as him to fight our way out of the championship and there's absolutely it's so mental if you think we're just going to go to the championship and just breeze it
10:35and you know for years we've had Scott I literally I did I went on the I did the BBC thing a BBC sport thing a few months ago and I was talking all about the ownership and stuff and you know I had Chris Sutton and whatever you know it's his it's his sort of prerogative as the you know the the contrasting voice but you got Chris Sutton there basically saying to me fans don't have a clue Daniel Levy and the owners have done a really good job look at the size of Spurs now look at that ground you've got and all that and the point I was trying to make is that nobody really cares about that if the football team doesn't do well and he's not the only one you put on anything we're just constantly told the fans have unrealistic expectations the fans this, the fans that the whole clubs fall into pieces man like the fact the fans genuinely should be the greatest sense check for something that's going on yeah sure you know you can cut through like a bit of the more like emotional beats of things but if for five ten years the people closest to the clubs the people who live and breathe and know every single inch of the club really are telling you that something is wrong, then it's wrong.
12:03This idea that Spurs fans are entitled and stuff, I've never bought it. We're not. We want to believe, we want to dream that we can be better and stuff. But I mean, this is the thing though. This is the thing, isn't it? You know, when we don't do well, we get told, you know, oh well, Manchester United, there's certain standards at that club. Arsenal the standards at that club Liverpool the standards at that club when Spurs are unhappy about something when Spurs are unhappy with the direction of travel it's always been know your place don't be so ungrateful and look where it's led to Spurs fans weren't kicking off because we weren't winning the Premier League.
12:56Look through all the old tweets, 14, 15, 16, 17, 17, 18, when we had a team that was playing football, a team that we could be proud of, a manager that we loved, a squad of players who were unbelievable. We were just delighted to see our club represented in a way that we felt was befitting of it. See also the times under Martin Yol. See also the times under Harry Redknapp. We weren't all kicking off because we weren't winning the league. We don't have these expectations that we expect to win the league, that we expect to win this, that we expect to win that. We want to enjoy our football club like any other fan base does.
13:43And since Maurizio Pochettino went, torture for long in this football club. And I know people say that's mental. You won in Bilbao just a few months ago. But that was just a complete freak occurrence.
14:03The season was awful. The season was like pulling teeth. Every single transfer window is like pulling teeth. Never, never, for years. And I'm talking since what? 2017? 2018? Never addressing problems. Not replacing Kyle Walker. And not replacing every single one of those incredible players that disappeared after him.
14:35Just having this mishmash of pretty bang average players and young players that we're demanding too much of.
14:50and this is where we end up the hubris
15:03this is just miserable man I just can't believe it I actually can't believe it
15:14like again as I keep saying yes rationally I can believe it rationally this has been quite clearly signpost I mean even even then right even then this is quite something I'm not going to sit here and say I saw this pointing towards a relegation I saw this pointing to Spurs going back to being a mid-table team that's what I thought That was the nightmare scenario. The Spurs went from being a team that finished in the Champions League places pretty consistently to a team that suddenly started finishing mid-table again like it did when I was growing up. Getting relegated.
15:59I just can't believe it.
16:03I don't know. I know, right? I know. there's still time it's not done yet we've still got to play Forest
16:20but I know I just find it hard to see us win another game
16:29this is mad innit and the other thing I know The other thing I know is that people will say, well, World War III is literally kicking off. There's a lot of really bad stuff happening. There's a lot of suffering. I get that. But we compartmentalize our lives. I never buy that stuff. Yes, it's important to have a sense of perspective in your life. Of course it is. but at the same time everything's relative number one and number two we compartmentalize so many different aspects of our lives you know
17:18you know to go you know go quite deep about it like this time two years ago you know we lost our son and that was horrible and it's the worst thing that's happened to me in my life and you know it still bothers me to this day it doesn't mean i can't be sad about spurs as well though i don't like weigh the pain up and say that it's the same or you know you can't feel that because of this and because of that and you know i've got i've got other very dear friends to me that have gone through significant and horrible losses in their families and stuff in this point they're still sad about spurs of course you can still be sad about spurs just because there's other sad stuff going on so you know don't let people gaslight you into that this is upsetting this is abysmal like this is this is this is awful like this is you know we look to this thing to like make us happier don't we like out of out of all the sort of miserable stuff that that happens in life and that yeah that doesn't mean that doesn't mean you win every game it doesn't mean you don't lose any games and it doesn't mean we have to sit and suffer watching Arsenal win the league or the Champions League or something like that but the way in which and I genuinely believe this The way in which this fan base has been tormented and gaslit by these owners, by the media, by rival fans, by all of it, for so long is ridiculous.
19:07Look how expensive, most expensive, I think maybe after Arsenal actually, most expensive tickets in the Premier League. To watch what? To watch what?
19:24Just the hubris. The greed.
19:31The like borderline malevolence behind it.
19:38The lack of consideration for any of it. To just treat the actual football as a distraction.
19:51To apologise when the stadium was delayed. To apologise to the NFL fans before he said anything to the Spurs fans.
20:07It's genuinely a toxic relationship. It's a toxic relationship where we're just totally taken for granted.

21:55Yeah, let's do Van Der Ven as well. Because Peter Gordon has said Van Der Ven can fuck off. And I agree. I never, ever want to see him play for Tottenham Hotspur Football Club again. Let him be somebody else's problem. Let him go up and offer out somebody else's fan base, yeah?
22:30Pathetic.
22:36Apparently all week, apparently all week he's been sauntering around the training ground saying that he doesn't care, that his agent, his dad, is speaking to Barcelona and he's going to be out of here. See you later, mate. Go and be there, problem. Don't care. Can't defend. He's quick. Can't defend. Can't head a ball. Never wins an area or duel. Not as good as people make out that he is. Lovely goal line clearance in Bilbao. well done off your trot mate see you later don't care let's take whatever 60-70 mil for him bye bye couldn't care less couldn't care less my mate George and I'm going to call him out my mate George earlier saying on Twitter this is just the same as what happened with Kane and Bale that Spurs fans start digging out their best players because they know they're going to leave it's nothing like that mate I don't think.
23:36It's because he's a twat and he's not as good as he thinks he is.
23:45Steven Lucy says, Mickey, Pedro, Vicario can all get gone. Cracker 130. What happened to Kinski as well? Kinski was supposed to be starting this game, wouldn't he? It literally can't get any worse. It cannot get any worse than Vicario now. It can't. What I mean is it can't get... Yeah, I said it right, didn't I?
24:14Cracker 130 says, Jack, this is the pits. Yeah, it really is, mate.
24:24T-Pace Coy says, Jack, man. Yep. Lee Spencer says, Vicario should never play for us again. van der Ven has let us down he's a clown yep Joda says so good to hear your voice thank you mate I don't know if the neighbors of this house I'm staying at will agree with that but you know I'm trying to keep my voice down as best I can it's a full house there's people everywhere.
24:57Mr. Stephen Stotch says, Van der Ven is nothing short of a disgrace. Sorry to sound tinfoil, but I think it was intentional. Get Harry in until the end of the season is our only option. I mean, this is you know what the big rumour is it's been doing the rounds this week? It's Harry Redknapp, Tim Sherwood and Jermaine Defoe are going to come in and replace Igor Tudor as a Spurs trio coaching team. And you know what? We're that in the mud now. I just take it. Tudor is way out of his depth. Tudor doesn't know the league. He doesn't know our players. He doesn't know the team. He looks frustrated already.
25:40We don't need an interim manager when we're in this desperate situation. Already starting with all the theatrics and the press conferences and stuff. Get rid of him. Get whoever. And get Ryan Mason in at this point. like it you know I mean
26:01Owen Lawrence says game over Dorzino says we need Tudor gone you don't bring on Bissouma when you're down to 10 clueless we're fucked bollocks yeah
26:17William Dole says insert go and get Mason go and get Ryan Mason meme here don't panic FPL says what do we do from here hope, pray whatever you want mate
26:40upital31 says I genuinely hate most of our players especially Vicario Jodis also says Tudor out, Redknapp in he's the only one that can save us now
26:53Thomas Jones says there must be goalkeepers out there who are free agents horrific yeah I mean I was sort of saying you know because Dele Alli was training at the training ground the other day I was just like do you know what just get him in and even if he gets 10 minutes at the end of the game the lift that it would give everyone and I think just the ferocity that he'd play with I could see him getting on the end of something and scoring that's how desperate I am I know that rationally is a ridiculous idea but then I was told that even the window for signing free transfers is apparently shut now as well
27:36Peter Doodle says in a funny way that's taken the pressure off like the players I don't care anymore
27:47Bill Argy says it's very bleak James Reid says Daniel Levy Thomas Frank, Johan Langer Vinay Venkateshan, Vivian Lewis Joe Lewis, Nick Boucher congratulations, your hubris will go down in the darkest annals of history yeah it's a stain, it's an absolute stain on the football club
28:16David Thompson says what happens first the sun collapses in on itself and we score from a long throw Tottenham says can't see where we pick up points in the next few games nope Stephen Lucy says how have we ended up where we're the only one to play for the shirt as a young lad who signed two years ago from Leeds none of them give two fucks about the club it seems I thought Matthew's tail was quite good. I did think he was decent again but other than that yeah been a more.
28:54Not starting Richarlison's mad as well isn't it? New load Stuby55 says new load tonight never have Spurs gone 11 games without winning in the Premier League. Capote says I'm at a loss with this they can't do anything, passing, running it's not there, they have nothing people keep criticising the lack of technical ability in this squad they keep saying the technical level of this squad is abysmal I think to even say that somehow suggests that there's any technical level whatsoever within this team there's nothing
29:47Ricochet Pig says not a fan of Tudor overcomplicating things too many changes the players needed a morale boost not a mental overload learning unfamiliar systems yeah just put players in positions that work well for them get them to play on the front foot
30:07you know the other thing i'll tell you the other thing yeah about all the talk about vinay van katesh and all that right is that i guarantee you now bookmark this moment i guarantee you now he will show up on an arsenal podcast or at some sort of arsenal event or maybe even in the concourse at the emirates or something or alternatively he'll be on a show like the overlap or something like that you know it will take a few months might even take a few years right but you will see him and he will joke about being an arsenal man and about spurs him relegating spurs and everyone will have a good old laugh about it and the stain the block will still be on tottenham hotspur it'll be us it'll be us that might still be in the championship
31:04it.
31:08Llama Allsport says, I don't actually get angry over football, but I'm raging. Tudor has to go. He's clueless. Take off the only left-footed player that can play left-back and put the only attacker doing anything at left wing-back. Yeah. Chris Jones says, fair play, Archie Gray. Only one to come out of that game with any credit. Yeah, he was quality. he is a quality player he's really good
31:37Mark Lobley says my wife sat next to me telling me I shouldn't be upset because it's still Tottenham and the club isn't going anywhere and things will get worse or better yep I get a point but also you know it's not really how it works is it yeah and the club might not be here might go bust you know
32:09Tom Haywood says we already look like a mid-table championship team coming up against Premier League opposition each week Wharton, Saar absolutely levels above anything we have and they play in a 14th place side yeah it's mental isn't it it's mental on the again on view for the lane they were going through Fulham's team and just looking at all the players that they felt would improve Tottenham and it was basically all of their players.
32:45Jack Underhill says, keep van der Ven, decimate his wages and let him rot on the bench in a championship.
32:53Vindictive.
32:57Billy Stone says, having Gallagher as a second striker rather than Mawani or Tell, clueless.
33:10Zeros and Wons says, has Levy been let off the hook by being sacked? Only by people who have very short memories.
33:23Ian3415 says, I feel like an abandoned puppy. left in a field by people who don't care.
33:38Yeah, the thrift element says teams will love coming to the ground and the championship will get battered. It's going to be miserable, mate. Peter Gordon says grey will be gone next year to a top-eight team. I mean, this is going to be very interesting, you know, this sort of idea that we're going to build our championship team around players like gray players like bergval you know we were rejecting bids apparently for bergval in january liverpool villa chelsea i think a few others interested in him or sniffing around him it's not guaranteed that he stays with us see also like you say gray you know i think that genuinely i think gray's literally been like scouted by barcelona recently
34:31alright here's a positive one De Spurs says I think we'll stay up I could actually see Ange coming back I don't know about that I don't think he would let's not blame the ground the manager is important the character's turned United around I mean I will blame the I'll sort of say what I want to be honest mate like you know I'm sort of at that place I'll be honest with you it's hard enough doing this stuff now if I have an opinion I'm going to share it you know that's it's just how it is and I hate the ground I think it's crap and I think it does contribute massively to where we find ourselves now so you know Big Y says yesterday was when it was over today was just the burial
35:27the Tottenham says good job we didn't panic in January I bet they're panicking now we have no wingers and played a whole season with no left back how has it come to this yeah
35:43Zucbao says most unlikable squad I've ever followed in any sport yep It's Greasby says applaud you for actually being able to do this tonight currently walking back to Tottenham Hale not even angry anymore won't be home before midnight no yeah fair play to sticking it out to the end there mate
36:09Twisted Complex says be careful what you wish for says nine games to go some players coming back King Ryan Mason simplifying a 43-1 and never letting Polinia see the field again and an easy 10-12 points.
36:29Alex Paramore says, I hate this football club with all my heart. Wankers. Disgraceful.
36:44Just Keith says, Jack will you still do these next year in the championship I enjoy this more than the games I will mate
36:56we'll see you know I don't anticipate many people will watch them but I never really you know I've never really done this like for the views if you like I do it because I enjoy it so you know I mean I don't really enjoy it tonight but it's probably helpful on a certain level isn't it type of therapy and on Nomad says how's Dorset? lovely I did a nice I don't know what I did like 15km or so hike earlier which you know undulating hills and everything went up Golden Cap the highest point on the south coast very lovely through Langdon Woods nice little wander all around if anyone knows this area they'll know that the Stoneborough coast path has collapsed into the sea much like I'd like Tottenham Hotspur to do so I had to walk down a big long slippy road with you know Dorset drivers getting all aggy about it but yeah that was it, nice walk and it was nice and refreshing when I was on this walk beautiful like i say beautiful it's like it's peak english countryside dorset you know rolling green hills beautiful coastline fresh air like incredible you're walking through that and it's that point it's that point of hike where you know you you start to feel the burn a bit and you actually go into that meditative state when you're doing it and it's lovely i love that when And then suddenly my brain stops overthinking everything.
38:41And it falls into this just like zen-like place where I'm literally just like one with nature. Taking in big breaths of fresh air and just feeling happy to be alive. And basking in the beauty of like, you know, nature and everything like that. And literally the second you get back into civilization, the second you finish the hike, you come down from the cliffs. you start walking down the street and there's cars coming past you you start thinking about what you're going to eat when you get back in and you get in the house, start looking at your phone and then I'm just straight back in it spurs, oh great why couldn't I have stayed in that zen like state for longer do you know what I mean no it's literally the second you're back around bricks and cars and drain pipes and roads and sewers all the artifices of humankind then it all just catches up in the spaghetti the spaghetti of modern life is just back there war spurs bills jobs be nice to just might just be one of those people that just sacks it off and just lives in the woods.
40:03I'm sure my family would love that. So yeah, that's how Dorset was, mate. It was good. Bob Rudge says, Just thought about that video of Vinay and Levy smugly joshing about red wine. The corporate complacency was disgusting, and it manifests itself on the pitch. Look what they've done to us. Yeah.
40:28Bang on, mate.
40:34Oli Humphrey says fair play for doing one of these I genuinely believe our only option is to get rid of Tudor free hit the Liverpool game regroup over the international break and try again I don't think we can free hit any games mate we've got to try and I know what you mean I know I'm being a bit pedantic but also we can't really free hit any games can we now Ricochet Pig says we're in the we're in the worst timeline Commando Ape says Cheryl Crowe is literally my mum cool
41:20Jan M747 says Jack WATF internally battered and bruised hate the owners what should we do i have no idea apart from imploding yeah i said just fall in on ourselves become dark matter and slowly suck in the rest of the matter around us expand and expand and leave this planet as just a void a dark void because that's what our football club is. That sort of was supposed to sound a bit more profound than it actually came out in the end.
42:05Yeah, I agree with this. The Thrift Element also says, I'm actually not hearing much from Arsenal fans about Spurs, which shows how irrelevant we've become to them. Yeah. I mean, it would definitely be a good laugh for them when we get relegated and they win the trophy. But yeah. I wasn't thinking about Arsenal much when we were in the Champions League final. Do you know what I mean?
42:30Tommy P says, beyond parody.
42:40Sasha Faitso says, I couldn't care less about the events at the ground away from football. I miss the old place. William Gardner says Tell was the most exciting player on the pitch tonight Why on earth Frank wasn't playing him is shocking Simmons on the other hand has done nothing to plead his cause He was awful Yeah he is awful isn't he He's terrible I actually quite like him but I just don't think he's cut out for it And yeah I know he doesn't have a great team around him and stuff But he's a star signing man Harry Kane didn't have a great team around him Gareth Bale didn't have a great team around him.
43:22You know? Son-Hu Min didn't have a great team around him. At all times, anyway. Teddy Sheridan didn't. Jürgen Klinsmann didn't. Robbie Keane didn't. There's plenty of them down at the time, man. Simmons just hasn't shown us enough. But he's the least of my problems right now. Fine. he's not being particularly great but I quite like him still

45:25Snake says, I genuinely wish my dad didn't get me into this shit. Yeah. Remember I told you a couple of seasons ago, I said to my dad, why did you get me supporting this club? And he got quite upset about it. Now he was sat there. He stopped watching. like when it went to 3.1 he just stopped watching he was just like fucking useless I'm not watching it it's going down don't care I still couldn't like prise myself away from it but he wasn't he just sat there watching Crufts or whatever it was they had on the telly
46:05one load of dog shit to another
46:10Ian345 says I can't even make a joke about this anymore. It's horrific in every way. Yep.
46:18Marcy says, good evening, Jack. I don't watch other teams near the bottom of the league, but I can't believe they all play this badly. Nope. I make you right there, Marcy.
46:32Jelly Koala says, the managers aren't exactly blameless. No, they're not.
46:46Spincher says, this all started when that Welsh Rangan opened the new stadium. Our decline mirrors his downfall. Go compare Arena.
47:00Wallach says, I agree. Why should I care about the hundreds of millions that we stand to lose if we go down having that money in the first place made no difference no didn't deuces wild says every match now feels like a funeral for a once great institution friend of the show lazarini says honestly think the stadium should be empty at this point the board don't give a shit about us the players don't give a shit about us fine do it without us. Yeah, mate. But it won't be and we will be there cheering them on and you'll be there cheering them on. You know you will be. Because that's just what we do, isn't it?
47:45I mean, I don't.
47:50But, you know, I applaud anybody else that does.
47:57Echosonic Music says, so where are we on the Kubler-Ross model of GILF? grief gilf where did I get that from where are we on the Kubler-Ross model of grief just at the depression stage
48:17Kubler-Ross stages of grief I think you'll notice this is like denial and all that denial, anger, bargaining depression and acceptance
48:34I think I'm on I would say I am yeah I'm moving out of bargaining bargaining was my actually I quite like Tudor I quite like the cut of his jib that lasted for 10 minutes and I think I'm on depression I'm not quite in acceptance yet I'm rallying I'm rallying against accepting it that's the thing so I know I'm not in acceptance yet I'm definitely in depression about it that's where I'm at echo sonic music Kieran Fitcher says every window for as long as I can remember we've been left a couple of players short that builds up the club came out every time and told us they know better they don't bang on
49:24playtonic says i hate the stadium too still morrison says jack make it make sense i'm not angry anymore i'm really sad god bless you yeah that's it that's the stage you're in as well mate depression
49:41james kerrigan says is allardyce out of the question now i take it you know what i take it and on Nomad says there is nothing good about being relegated I can't believe some people think it's a clean break yeah I agree with you editor Chris says championship will be a nightmare Jelly Koala says if we go down we'll stay down probably stay down wasn't that definitive Zeros and One says Enig are just like Mike Ashley but with better PR yeah ricochet pig says i have an original an irrational fear that enic will somehow sell the team but keep the stadium homeless hotspur in the conference i genuinely may i don't i don't think that's that mad a suggestion to make maybe maybe there'll be some sort of clause or i don't i don't know I do know that the stadium is in a different holding company or something but I spoke to Levy-Nomics, Connor Levy-Nomics who does Win the Whistleblows podcast with Billy and he was saying that's fairly standard practice for this type of project and Spurs would still probably sell the stadium with any sale of the club but we'll have to wait and see won't we
51:11Deb says I'm broken completely lost Eneka fleeced us there's nothing left
51:20it sort of doesn't it it sort of feels like all that's left is just our memories our memories of like the good times it's not to say there won't be any again but this is going to take some serious getting over like this is this is major
51:45Murray says the stadium makes other teams excited to play there yep that's probably fair Reggae Squirrel says I needed some of that post-loss therapy mate big up for doing this in these dark times Jack thank you mate thanks for coming
52:03Lazzarini says literally the only thing better about the new stadium is the fact I can actually go to the Lua at half time without missing 10 minutes in the second half not really worth a£1 ,400 £1 ,400 season ticket
52:20I mean that is mental the sort of sums of money that people pay to watch this man the way in which you're like constantly told oh you know it's difficult it's difficult to be competitive you know your support is so so appreciated we can't buy you any players but here's a you know here's us bragging to the financial press about our record profits again oh no no no no no no you must understand there are certain numbers and figures that need to be amortized and blah blah blah jargon jargon jargon that's what it's been for years that's what it's been for years daniel levy doing these glib smug interviews of bloomberg tv and stuff bragging about the money they make bragging about the fact that the club is as profitable as like an NFL club now, an NFL franchise.
53:28Yeah, at the same time, telling Spurs fans, no, you can't, you're not going to be able to replace all those good players that you had that you enjoyed. Just sit back and, you know, buy a foam finger from the shop. Buy a foam finger from the shop and some artisan fried chicken for 50 pounds as well
54:03james kerrigan says defrost the gravy get the pints of red wine ready and dust off the jj kocha underwear we have a relegation battle on our hands
54:19um kieran fitchett says the stadium is a soulless bowl designed to host everything but gives us fans nothing i grew up going to white heart lane with my dad the identity of spurs as a club died when they knocked it down i agree with you mate i agree with you i feel it
54:40i recently did some filming at anfield and it's the first time i've been since they like built the new stands and all that type of stuff it's basically like a new stadium you've kept the like core of the old ground but now it's almost the same size as ours isn't it's about 59 000 it's about 59 000 they've turned anfield into now give or take i think it's around that brand new flash stands but they haven't moved and they've kept pretty much the same ground now i've seen some people talk about the plumbing under the old stadium and always that stuff can not you cannot tell me that that stuff is just like couldn't have been reconciled we had all that car park by the west stand you could and knock that west stand down put another stand on top of that made it bigger somehow you probably could have done something with a shelf as well got rid of the pit i know there was a light limited space at the back of it but we look at what we built there could have been ways and means to do it there could have been ways and means to get the old white heart lane keep the essential bones of it and up it to 50 ,000 say, give or take 50 ,000 capacity which would have been bringing in more money it would have cost less money it would have been less upheaval
56:20obviously we can't undo it now but that's what I wanted all along and you can't I just nobody will ever convince me that this is better
56:37we're getting relegated less than a decade after that thing has opened and pretty much consistently the consistent through line since that stadium has opened even before the stadium has opened is we can't because we are hamstrung by stadium debt we can't offer more wages because the way in which the stadium debt is structured dictates what our wage bill will be.
57:06I will never hear it. I don't care how much money Beyonce concerts make. I don't care that Tyson Fury's fighting in our ground. I don't care. I literally couldn't care less. I support Tottenham Hotspur Football Club
57:34not Bad Bunny FC I actually quite like Bad Bunny I've seen Bad Bunny live before
57:442019 in Grand Canaria of all places
57:52Antonio Sanessa says, there is no upside to going down. It's not the 70s anymore. Disaster. Still time, Jack. We have to believe that we can stay up. But man, there's no rhyme or reason to our play.
58:09Reggae Squirrel says, I miss the lane so, so much. We sold our soul for this useless bowl. Echo Sonic Music says, everyone bleated on about a trophy, but I was happiest in that final season at White Hart Lane. Incredible. Yep.
58:28Pifashut says, we're not down yet. Get rid of Tudor immediately and get someone in who understands the Prem and understands what it means to be Spurs. Do you take it even if it's Ryan Mason? Because he fits that brief.
58:49Del Meets World says, as a QPR fan, let me be the first to welcome your club to the championship for next season. Are you lot even going to be in the championship next season? Weren't you having a horror show? You know next year as well they're expanding the championship playoffs as well. How much do you want to bet that that comes back to bite us?
59:18I mean Millwall might actually be coming up so we won't be playing Millwall next season
59:26QPR, oh you're out of the danger zone actually I thought you were nearly dead and buried
59:44Nigel Pickle says you have no divine right to be in the Premier League oh sorry Nigel I won't be sad about getting relegated then thanks mate good point well made James Kerrigan says also Jack love you keeping me sane during it's keeping me sane with the pods during these dark times thank you mate thanks for tuning in and getting in touch you know
1:00:14Phil Mayo says I think we'll survive but this really hurts look you know I really do I really do hope we do mate but I just I just don't I don't see where we get points from I don't see where we do
1:00:32Scott W Stephen says we're not down yet but the complete lack of creativity and technical ability in this team is unbelievable. S. Mill says the board are useless. We need a miracle to stay up.
1:00:47SKRM76BG says, as a neutral fan, I think the refereeing is shocking against you. Linking with what you've said prior about when it's Spurs players, they need to be tougher. It's not an excuse for the lack of quality or intent though.
1:01:05VimFuego says, mate, oh yeah she says mate but there's lumps of rancid meat that have been chucked into the sea by a bloke insisting we need a bigger boat, we're gone
1:01:27Edward Prislucky says what terrifies me is not only our squad is unfit for the Premier League, we aren't even remotely fit for the stereotypical championship kicking, especially when half of these fucks are going to force a transfer out.
1:01:57A few people extending well wishes about the thing I was saying, you know, about my little boy a couple years ago so thank you for that everybody i do appreciate that and i was a genuine i'm not just saying that type so i'm not trying to use that type of thing for any sort of point or you know sympathy or anything like that you know i'm not a ghoul like that i just think it's relevant to the conversation and i was at the time you know it's a flow state thing isn't it
1:02:30Zorba the Greek says we'll just have to win the Champions League now the big John Bass show big John Bass top lad says we are actually going down and let's be honest we do deserve it not the fans but the club from the owners to the director of football the managers the players rotten yeah It's hard to argue in it, mate.
1:03:00Daisy Broom says, feel sorry for Spurs. I'm assuming you're not a Spurs fan, Daisy, so, you know, thank you.
1:03:12Yeah, this is perfect. John Lacks says, Spurs, jargon, jargon, jargon. Liverpool, Van Dijk, win the league. Spurs, jargon, jargon, jargon. Arsenal, get Declan Rice, win the league. How much more bullocks can we listen to?
1:03:34More of that media says I'd 100 % take Mason at this point. Yeah, I would.
1:03:45Gary Bradley says, just tell me it's going to be okay, Jack. I mean, look, ultimately, it may well be, you know. There will be sunny days again, even if we do go, you know. Maybe we will. Maybe we will just bash the championship. Maybe we'll win every game and we'll set a historic standard in the championship and come straight back up and be all right again pretty quickly. But maybe we won't. It's hard to tell at this point, isn't it? You know?
1:04:24Seven Seal says, definitely not coming straight back out. Temple Acoustic says, 34 years of support and a shed load of hard-earned money leads to this. Yep.
1:04:38Chief Factor says, who do you think would stay with us in the championship? I don't know, but maybe I'll do a pod about that. I mean, I'm sure everybody will be doing a pod about that this summer. but you know
1:04:56yeah Zeus Bausp says 17 year fan here from the US I bought into the whole new stadium will be good for this thing a massive lie I mean look in principle building a new stadium could have been good but this one is ridiculous it is ridiculous a billion pounds on the stadium the vanity of that is mental it's mental you know I know people don't like it people think they're identikit and stuff but you see things like the GTech arena or whatever the GTech community arena that Brentford built yeah it's quite identikit but they chucked that up for I don't know a hundred mil or something let's just say whatever it was, a fraction of the cost of this there was no way on earth that this stadium needed to be as expensive as it was and like I say I would have just redone a couple of the stands at the old White Hart Lane expanded the capacity, get us up to this is the other thing, we don't need a 60 plus thousand seat stadium you're not going to fill that up unless you're brilliant on the pitch unless you win all the time
1:06:21you know I think even Chelsea would struggle to fill our stadium week in week out
1:06:34Sorba the Greek says at this point play the kids they care yeah I'd do it
1:06:48Jimbo Coy says appreciate the autopsies Jack these streams are my go to in these dark days thank you for tuning in Jim look I think I'm going to end up repeating myself a lot and it's getting late and I just feel sad and this is crap isn't it so thanks for tuning in everybody
1:07:14yeah it's going to take something pretty pretty special to save us from this but this is
1:07:25this is a dark dark time to be a Tottenham fan it's very hard to find any solace or any joy in this right now so you know much love come on you Spurs
