In short

The couple riff on cooking and dieting (especially jacket potatoes and freezing them for “resistant starch”), family food habits, and a week’s “beefs.” They also discuss AI-generated models used in beauty injectables articles, the rise of AI porn/deepfakes, and a couple of science/math “factoids” (paper-folding limits; doubling a penny daily). They finish with a “What’s Your Beef?” segment about heating and a playful argument about who “gaslights” clothing purchases and their mothers’ weights.

Guests

No guests appear. The episode is hosted by Rosie Ramsey and her husband Christopher (Chris).

Guest backgrounds

N/A (no external guests).

Key claims

Freezing jacket potatoes increases resistant starch and may help blood sugar control. AI-generated models are being used to market injectables. AI porn/deepfakes could replace real performers using voices/images online. Paper can’t be folded more than ~7 times; hypothetically 42 folds would reach near the Moon.

Notable examples

“Jack of potatoes” freezing/foil/freezer method; magazine injectables article with AI models; Rosie’s “cold fart” ham smell debate; “fold a penny daily” compound-interest example.

0:00On this week's episode of Shag Married Annoyed. Rosie does a full 180 on Jack of Potatoes. I think you'll find you do the 180. Well, time will tell. Hypocrite! I've tried to teach Rosie some science-y stuff. It's just, honestly, if you zone out at that point, I will. It was genuinely met with pure fucking anger to be fair. So boring. Rosie phones not one, but two women to ask them how much they weigh. Cardinal sin. We've got beefs. We have got beefs. And we've got some big mouth Billy Bass. Oh, take me to the river. Blast from the past. Wash me down. Enjoy. Bye. Good energy in. Good energy out.

1:31you know what i'm really upset that i laughed at that thank you very very very each other's jokes i'm very wound up you're calling that a joke was it not a joke was it a bit it was it it was a bit can I tell you right now only thought of it when I did it it's a bit of tomfoolery just a little light start of the podcast yes hello hello thank you for listening thank you for watching hi hey bad news everyone got the heating on oh don't this be beef stop it we'll talk about it later I can hear the water rushing through the radio that behind us it sounds like somebody with diarrhea yeah it's bad it's like the trickling sort of like dropping out the heating is never on in this room I'm very very It's the first time I've had to put the heating on for this, and I am.

2:16I'm not coping well. Welcome to autumn. Me favourite. You've got a jumper on, though. I'm freezing. Yeah, because you don't have a jumper on, do you? Well, I did have a jumper on, but then I look like, you know, just look bigger than I am. It wasn't a jumper. It was a baggy, thick cardigan. So now I've got my arms out, but I'm very aware of this. Right, great. Well, if you just keep doing that, that's brilliant. For everyone not watching it on the video on YouTube, she was flapping her bingo wings which she doesn't really have I have I think everyone's got bingo wings even really thin people have got bingo wings they're fine and now she's just looked at herself in the mirror like a fucking budgie right stop stop awful imagine having to listen to this I've actually hurt my neck a little bit you've hurt your neck by tension tension muscles straining fantastic god I could never be a bodybuilder no no I haven't got the I haven't got the up until this moment you thought that was still a possible career choice for you until right now I know someone who does it do you now She used to do me hair years ago.

3:11Wow, she's a bodybuilder. Brogan's cousin. Fair play. Our hairdresser at Brogan, it's her cousin, she does bodybuilding. Fair. Looks amazing, she looks classy. Genuinely. But it's that thing, you know, when you look at the pictures and you go, I could do that. Yeah. I do believe. I can't even get under 10 stone. What's that, a toxic trade? Just thinking about that. Toxic trade? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I looked at our pictures once and I thought, honestly, if I really tried, I could do that. It's all bloody lighting, Nat. That's all lighting. She's not, got abs just standing under a spotlight. She has.

3:41Yeah. I cannot get under 10 stone for love no money. Really? I'm really struggling with it. You don't need to. It's just a number. As long as you're happy in how you look it doesn't matter. No I know but you know every now and then I go on the scales I just can't get under. Was it inches not? Was it about inches not? I'm sure that someone's got a clever rhyme about that. Anyway listen bodybuilding. I saw a thing once just a video of I don't know where they were they must have been in a villa or something and it was a like it It must have been like a bodybuilding camp or whatever. Okay. And there was a guy and he was a bodybuilder and he was just in like the shallow, shallow end of the pool and some bloke who was training him, he was shouting out the different poses.

4:19All right. Fucking hell, it was intense. What do you mean? It was like horrible. He's like in the blistering sun and he's in this fucking pool up to his feet and he's literally like, I don't know the names of any of them. I don't know, but he's probably things like... Swan. Yeah, dying swan, falcon. They're probably all birds. Yeah. And he's shouting them. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And he's, like, he gives him a breast at the end, and the guy looks like he's going to pass out. It's nuts. It's probably that. And, oh, God, fair play at them. That's like I found out when I was a kid about the basketball, oh, no, baseball, baseball stuff, you know, and they do the cat and that, and they touch their faces.

4:51Oh, right, for the, yeah, the little signals that they do. Yeah, League of Their Own. Yeah. Great film, Tom Hanks. So that's where I found it out. League of Their Own? Mm-hmm. Is that not the panel show on Sky? There is a film called League of Their Own. Really? do you know why you won't watch it because you're a sexist pig and it's about a female baseball team

5:15because what happened was during the second world war the first world war the second world during the war during one of the wars i can't remember which one i think one of the wars i'm all all the men i'm already i'm already keep talking over it i'm hooked in i'm hooked in during one of the wars carry on with you historically accurate during one of the wars there it is i I think it was the second world war. Yeah. Because from the... Was this before or after olden days? Was it during olden days or was it after olden days? It depends. So, the men went off to fight. Yeah. Thank you. And then the women started their own baseball league.

5:50Nice. And at first, they didn't get taken seriously. Right. But then, obviously, there were mint and it became like a huge thing. But then the men came back and it just sort of died off, which is really sad. But Madonna's in it. It's a fucking amazing film. Wow. Tom Hanks is in it. It's class. Would you like to watch it? No, but well done, though. No, let's... We've talked about it before. I talked about it. It's one of my favourite films as a kid. I have. I'm going to get the boys to watch it. Why do I feel like this is the first time... Oh, good luck with that. Why do I feel like this is the first time I'm hearing about this film?

6:16Because you wouldn't have watched it because you're a boy. You wouldn't have watched it. Like, in this modern day, women will watch male comedians and female comedians. Men will very rarely watch a female comedian. You'll only watch men, male comedians. A lot of women won't watch female comedians as well, by the way. Just so you know. I think you're talking about a minority. We will absolutely watch female comedians. Yeah, I'll watch it. I'll watch it. No, I know you will. I'm not, okay. Ah, right, okay. You mean as a whole. Yes. And listen, I would not have watched that. I would not have not watched League of Their Own because it's a female baseball.

6:49No. I would have not watched League of Their Own because it's baseball and it's one of the most boring games in the world. Okay, but I'm not having a go, to be honest with you, because, right, I take it back. There's loads of stuff that I didn't watch as a kid because it was just boy stuff. Right. Do you know what I mean? Did you watch Mighty Ducks? I did actually, I loved it. I never saw Mighty Ducks, I'll be honest with you. Yeah, I know. I used to play it out in the street and everything. You've never seen Mighty Ducks? I never saw it. I'll be honest with you, I think it was on Sky. I think it was on Sky.

7:15No, it wasn't. I've seen it loads of times. Really? I think we might have had it on video though. Mighty Ducks. Oh my God, it was so good. Yeah, knuckle puck time and all that. Just learned it off things people said. I did a lot of that. I did a lot of that as a kid. Just like chameleon and just going, oh yeah, what's that film? remember that he didn't watch that the liar that's tragic sad isn't it sad we tried to get Robin to watch Mighty Ducks a couple of years ago and he was having none of it did you I did I might try them we've talked about before trying to watch a never ending story that was the pit oh I mean looking back it's really grim and it's really slow unbelievably grim yeah we had a lot I mean it is the never ending story guys oh there it is guys thank you so much for listening thank you so much for being here please continue to like and rate and subscribe and if you're watching on YouTube smash that subscribe button man or just delicately click it it's totally up to you and you know look after whatever technology you are using by not smashing things so without further ado it's time for this week's lucrative lucrative sponsor now Rosie's not going to like this week's sponsor because she's not a fan but as we know I've always been a fan from day one we've talked about many a times Rosie's happened absolutely none of it but I have always been on board with this how when you said smash that subscribe I went smash it and I jerked really quickly I didn't have a genuinely thing to put me back out.

8:33So twice now you've injured yourself. So you've hurt your back since smash that subscribe button and you've also hurt your shoulder by tensing. Are we in Sheward? Genuine question. I used to be in Sheward when I was in the band through the bank. I had like broken legs and that. Anyway, crack on. When your legs were worth about 50 pence each. I was like, can you just pay me wages for at least a fortnight? You've ruined the lead into this. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. By the way, do you know what it is? Not you on. I'm really happy. My ADHD, I'm not diagnosed. Self-diagnosed. Self-diagnosed.

9:05I can't stop at a date. Right, okay, this is not a good day to do the podcast because I'm all over the place. Great, it's the only day we've got. Right. Okay, I'll shush you. All I'm saying is, sorry, anyone who thinks that these are real sponsors, by the way, I mean, they are real, wink, wink, but don't be skipping them because the Luke, the Luke, the Luke sponsor isn't. Just if there's new listeners who don't really know what the Luke, the Luke sponsor is. As I say, probably going to upset you because I know you're not on board, but I've been on board since day one. this week's lucrative sponsor is blowjobs jack of potatoes oh my god oh jack of potatoes listen as we all know Rosie has never been a fan but when we got married when we got married I said look I am a jack of potato guy take it or leave it love listen you either get off this ride or ride this train all the way to jack of potato town I you cut me I bleed jack of potatoes I've always said this from day one from day dot Stop it, because he's being sarcastic.

9:57You've hated Jack potatoes. I'm all bored with them now. I know. I mean, I'm slightly on board. I mean, yes, I'm half on board. I'm half on board, because the only ones are like, are the ones that you have to put in the oven for a couple of days. Like an hour at least. It's, I mean, crazy. That's fine, though. They're the best ones. Yeah, but then you went, then you said yesterday, you were like, oh, and then what happens is, I've read a thing, watched a thing, where you take them out, you wrap them in foil, and you put them in the freezer, and then they're even nicer. I went, right? I went well come on no they're not nicer they're better for you there's something that happens with the starches or something they're less they're less fat let me find out they're less fat but then I said yesterday I was like well let's have them I went well let's have them chat potatoes and you were like yeah I'll do them in the microwave and I went oh microwave yeah they're not as nice I went oh great so we spent it was a couple of weeks they had to stay in that oven for easily full whack and then they've gone in the freezer now and then all they're good for is maybe brick in the windows of someone we don't like or thrown in the bin so No, I'll eat them.

10:52That was fun. Good. I'm fine now. I can have a jack of potato on the fly. Again, I am a fan of them, but there's a lot that goes into them. I think everyone will agree, and I think anyone who's listened to more than one episode of this and who knows anything about me, I will never make my own jack of potato till the day I die. Okay. But if you're offering them up, I'm all over it. But the rigmarole you have to go through, I try to get on board with me on pizzas the other day every video can we get into the main body of the podcast and we'll bring this back up are you going to kick off listen I'm not going to fully kick off because I'm in a really good mood and there's nothing that you can do you're going to stretch it back it's gone now it's just a twang great I'm in a really nice mood and you're not going to ruin it but there is some things there is some shit I need to stir up challenge accept it let's jingle we had a fight about the jingle jingle We couldn't settle on a jingle.

11:51Jingle. So this is the jingle. Jingle. We hope you like the jingle. Jingle. Babadoo, babadoo, babadoo, ba. Jingle. Hello, welcome back to Jack Potato. Married annoyed. Right, so, Jack Potatoes, it says here, cooking and then freezing jack potatoes can increase the amount of resistant starch which acts like fiber and may help with blood sugar control so there you go sorry explain that like you understand it i just there's just benefits of it because apparently i read once i read it actually this was before like ages ago because i used to eat jack potato every day my mom was like do you know there's loads of sugar in a jack potato you know when you're like why why the fuck can i not just live right oh yeah the sugar and shit that you wouldn't imagine anyway but this is sugar in like going for a shite this is sandra who goes above eight eight stone and wants to you know yeah die so like i'm just very aware i'm very aware that i said i can't get under 10 stone earlier i've never told my mom what i weigh for years because honestly i didn't i just didn't want to see her face cave in on itself so now she knows now i'm good at you I do not want to be there when she listens to this podcast.

13:10Ten! Ten! Which is an absolutely fine way to be. Of course it is. I'm buzzing. Jesus. Yeah, but no, she's an almond mom. We've all got them. We all grew up in the 90s. You either had an almond mom like mine, or you had the mom who had all of the crisps. Right. Like, that was it. Got you. And my mom, she's just an almond mom. It's fine. Okay. But she was really happy with us today because I had an egg sandwich, and I had it in like in that Jason's or Jackson's bread the really good one and she was like oh that smells delicious and it looks lovely and you know when you're like I heard you very proudly say that I've seen it there's no additives there's no additives in it oh god but she will she will smash her Chinese with us so it's like it's living on the end you've just got to live in it's Sandra's world and we all live in it and that's fine because I adore her couldn't live without her I've said it before you know I love her I've said it before the payers don't like pizza I wouldn't thank you for pizza I'll whip a pizza out payers certain like fucking vultures.

14:07She sticks to it a lot more than me, though. I'm a lot more free. I must have talked about the time which she randomly caught us having, I think I was hungover, and she caught us having four slices of white bread toast and a full tin of sausage and beans with cheese on top. And she walked past and she just really quietly went, oh, look at that. And ruined it. I know, but she's... Ruined me. Look at that. Anyway, a cupboard's are sad. Yeah. Sad little cupboard. Very sad. Very sad. Very sad. But Sandra, we love you so much. Yes. And thank you for, you know, she did. She kept me under control when we were younger.

14:39There was no pop in that. And I respect that because I do think my sugar addiction might be from her, though. Yeah, for not being allowed it. Yeah, yeah. Now you're like, ah, well, it's in. Listen, we're all alive. It's all good. What I was going to say is I did watch a video. This is with you saying you won't make a jar of potato and you hate making meals. Okay. It was a, I think it was an Irish female comedian. And I'm so sorry because I can't remember what her name was. You would probably know her if I said the name. Anyway, I can't remember and I'm so sorry. But she basically said in this video on Instagram, she was like, her husband was away and she just didn't cook a meal.

15:18And she just sort of ate snacks all day. And I've heard a taste. She was like, I've just had a slice of ham and a handful of nuts. And I was like, no, but that's the dream. That's how I would live. I'm sorry. No, you do it. I've seen loads of people do it. Eating just ham out of the packet. Oh God. It's so fucking tragic. It's just the best. It's so tragic. And I'm going to sound like such a snob here, unless it's like some Parma ham or some prosciutto. If it's just fucking sandwich ham, That's the best ham. Billy Bay and upwards. Honestly, it takes two seconds to get a bit of bread and high bit butter on it.

15:48Or even a bit of meat, anything. Don't eat it. We all know when you open a packet of ham, it smells like a cold fart, right? I disagree. I don't think it does. It smells like a cold fart. Literally, at my tea, as long, I mean, this is not what I would eat all day. There'd have been four plates of this throughout the day. ham a cut up red pepper some pistachio nuts in the shell because it takes longer because if you just eat them un-shelled I could eat a full bag then like some crackers with some pickle on if I like cheese I would have cheese on there but I don't like cheese this sounds like what you would leave out for Santa if you didn't want to get any presents Santa might be Santa might love this shit some cold that's my idea sorry not cold some room temperature ham some pistachios room temperature is better I hate cold for ham Yeah.

16:34I hate cold food. Salad cream in the ham, wrapped up like a little cigarette. Like a little... Floppy little cigarette. No, like a... What do you call it? I'm clamming. What are them things you can get in the Italian cafes? Calzone. Ham calzone. No, no. No, no. They look like a little... They look like a little tiddler. What are they called, man? Oh, with the cream in. Oh, fuck me. What are they called? Right, dead... It's going to do me head in. Cannoli. Yeah, I was going to ring my mouth. Yeah, like a little ham. Cannoli. Yeah, fucking go Google in front of you and you're going to ring your mum.

17:04Oh, what am I going to write in? Italian dessert with cream. They would have come up. Yeah, of course. Welcome to How to Use Google with Chris and Rosie Ramsey. Fucking hell. Anyway, I think the moral of the story is, if I didn't have to cook meals for you and the kids, I don't think I would... You don't have to cook meals for me. You don't have to. It's lovely that you do and I thank you every single time and I'm over the moon that you do. What would you eat? What would you eat? Pizza. No, you rotate. pizza scrambled egg with cheese or tuna cheese pasta that's it that's all you can make yeah I can do steaks I can do spaghetti bolognese as well I wouldn't bother I wouldn't bother doing that I wouldn't bother doing that right it would be pizza most every other night it would be pizza and then the nights in between one night would be scrambled eggs and then the next night would be tuna cheese pasta what are you going to eat for your breakfast though scrambled eggs great okay ask us what I'm having for your lunch scrambled eggs okay alright then fair enough ask us what I'm having for my supper yogurt alright will you stop as well

18:13what is this podcast we used to talk about interesting stuff now we just talk about it's just one long beef would you stop that fucking stupid yogurt you started buying what's it called awkward stop save everybody in the family

18:36so it's like let me tell you I have this stupid yogurt I love it to me Robin and Rafe none of us react no one said anything so keep going so it's guys I get it from I think I get it from you get it all over but it's yeah it's like it's spelled crevard and it's like a special it's like a cheese it's like a soft cheese thing but I get like a but it's like a yogurt well yogurt and cheese are very similar yeah um and it's like i get a white chocolate flavored one or i get a vanilla flavored one and they've got loads of protein in and then yeah i just sit and eat them and every now and then i just say look at everyone a nice pot of kravart no one like no one react none of my family react it's so irritating it's so annoying well robin was kicking off about not wanting to do his homework the other day and i I was like, listen, get your homework done.

19:27Get your nice big pot of kvarg. And he just looked at us. He didn't even go, what? He just was like, shut up. Wait, are all one day going to collectively leave you? I hope you know that. It'll not be mommy's leaving you. It'll be mom, mom, Robin and Riff have made the collective decision that you get on my nerves with your stupid jokes that you need to just stop. 22:23Today Today let's have an update You're not on period You're not in any kind of menstrual cycle You're all good I feel great Chris Chris Yeah I feel great How would you like to feel great Every single day of the month? That I would I would pay a subscription I found that you don't need to pay I found the solution I found it online I sent you it but you haven't replied to it male underarm sweat can literally regulate a woman's hormones and menstrual cycle and even improve her mood a what? sorry? so your underarm sweat not just mine all the males but you can use mine if you want so do I ingest this?

23:03do I smell it? drink it, rub it on yourself have a bath in it where's this study from? just this bloke online, I saw it online Read it. I read it. That's gross. So you don't want to fix the problem? So what? No, I need testosterone. That's what I need. Yeah, that's what it is. That's what it is. I might not be the guy. It's got nothing to do with sweat. It's got nothing to do with that man. I just need testosterone. Some of the real housewives are getting testosterone injections. Really? Yeah. Wow. And it helps, apparently. I know we were having a very serious discussion this morning before you started following us around the kitchen with the decorative ore.

23:40Sorry, just to explain the ore thing. Whenever she turned her back, I walked behind her with the orb as if I was going to get her with it. Like a pantomime baddie. Yeah, yeah. And then when she turned around, I put it down and just started walking away. Talk about four or five times until she told us to stop, which is honestly more than I thought I would get. Just giving up. I've just got to a point where I think, I don't know why it's took so long. And obviously I've always been aware of it, but it's really getting us down. The fact that like, it just takes up so much of me month of being a bit unhappy.

24:08Yeah. Two weeks, I'm great. And then I'm just down in the dumps again. I feel like I should wear a badge right letting people like when a pregnant lady gets on the tube like a pregnant lady on the tube right okay I get you right yeah sorry if it's I'm on me two weeks of being a nightmare yeah but I'm brackets I'm also a victim here not just you dickhead big badge maybe a t-shirt maybe a flag what colour should it be bright red anyway a deep maroon I don't want to talk about people okay good we'll not will not we'll move on babadoo babadoo babadoo now rosie yes you know now and then i like to find little factoids little things to get your brain working to see how you're going to react you're right that don't that that that look on your face there i'm giving you opportunity to learn here and that look was not nice right i don't want any geography things because i'm mortified about the no problem no problem no geography the first one was brazil the second one was Germany.

25:07You were terrible at both of them. Right. Do you know how many times you can fold a piece of paper? I don't. It's physically impossible to fold a piece of paper more than eight times. Seven is roughly what you can get with a normal piece of paper. Okay? Yeah. Do you know that if it was possible to fold a piece of paper 42 times, I've already lost it, haven't I? No, I'm listening. I'm just bored.

25:42And I fucking hate it who we've taught you at school. So, if you could fold a piece of paper 42 times, which you can't, but theoretically, if you could... But you can't fold it more than seven. You can't. But if you could fold it 42 times, do you know the thickness of that piece of paper would reach from the Earth to the Moon? What? No. Here it is. No, it's not. Here it is. No. 100%. No. 100%. 100%. Nah. Do you know how far away the fucking moon is? I know exactly how far away the moon is. It is... No, this is the stupidest... What? I'm sorry. Where'd you get this shit? I'm telling you it's true.

26:19I swear to God. So it's... Sorry, 42 isn't that much more than 7. This is why... This is ridiculous. I'm not... No. Nah. Let's move on. This is ridiculous. You're wrong. This is bullshit. Literally, literally can't believe it. It's going to be about 42 times. It's going to reach the fucking moon. Is this some sort of sick joke? Yep. You ready? Yep. Oh, you need to stop reading shit like this. No, no, no, no. It is physically impossible to fold a stand-up piece of paper 42 times. However, if it were hypothetically possible, the resulting thickness would be over 384 ,400 kilometres, which is approximately the distance from the Earth to the moon.

26:54Each fold doubles the paper's thickness, leading to exponential growth that quickly becomes insurmountable due to the paper's rigidity and the rapid increase in dimensions.

27:05Stupid. Do you know, 103 times? If you could fold it 103 times, you know, it would get to the edge of the observable universe. This is not a wind-up. This would not be funny if I was just making it up. Well, I believe you. Well, what do you want us to do? I hate... Do you know if it... Well, it can't, so what's the fucking point? I like to live in the... I'm sorry, I like to live in the... this is the real world Chris this is life this is the table this is this can't happen it's imaginary it's fucking bullshit right live in the present the here and now no wonder you got fucking anxiety stuck with it it's rattling around your head thinking about bits of paper being full of the fucking moon god get out get out of your brain you might have a point actually get in here this is life alright here's a more understandable one for you right if you doubled a penny every day for a month for 30 days what do you mean double it just so you got two pennies the second day you've got two pennies then you've got four pennies you're not folding fucking pennies right you've got two pennies brilliant but if you could fold a penny I'm joking you'd have 60 pence by the end of the month no but I don't know how much you'd have by the end of the month how many days in a month 30 days so if you double it every single day 60 pence yeah try 5.3 million pound what are you talking about same thing the nature of doubling that thing every day.

28:30So you double it. And then the second day, you double what's there. So it's four. And then you double that, so it's eight. And then you double that, so it's six. By the 30th time... Pennies? Pennies. By the 30th day, you've got 5 ,368 ,792 pence. I promise you. I was so glad. So if I put a penny out tomorrow... You'd run out. ...tomorrow. You'd run out a couple of days. And then I put another penny. No, you wouldn't. No, two pennies out. You double what's there on that day. How the fuck? 30 days? Yes. What, you got£5 million? Yeah,£5.3 million in 30 days if you could double a penny every day. Do it.

29:09Go and get some pennies. Get some pennies. And for the next month, double it every day. After about four days, you'll go, oh, you're right. I don't think I will. I think you're wrong. A penny that doubles every day for 30 days will be worth 5 ,368 ,709.12. This is a classic example of compound interest. It's all falling into place because I'm forgetting that once you get the higher amounts, you double it every single time. Day one, a penny. Day two, two. Day three, four. Day four, five. Sorry, day four, eight. Eight. By day 10, you've got 5.12. By day 20, you've got 5 ,242.08. All right. All right, fair enough.

29:53Okay. alright then that's more doable than the payback of the moon I can get on board with that more somebody could actually do that if they've got 5 million quid do you know what it is but the payback of the moon the payback of the moon everyone listening and Rosie included here I agree that you were confused by it and I knew you'd be confused by it didn't expect that level of anger I'm not confused didn't expect that level of anger you told me you shouted at me and said no wonder you've got anxiety if you're thinking about a bit of paper folding up and you know what I could deep because you might be right.

30:25I'm totally right. Do you know what else has made us angry this week? What? Saw a video. God, all I do is watch videos. Yeah. It's where I get my information from. Back in the day it used to be the news, now it's videos. Did you know that there's a really popular beauty magazine that is using it? It was an article about injectables, about like Botox and stuff like that. Injectables? Injectables. Wow, they've really tried to fluff up that, haven't they? Injectables. Yeah, that's what it's called. Brilliant. That's what they're called. Procedures. The two models, female models that they'd used in the magazine, they were AI.

31:00Oh, shut the fuck up. They were AI. They were not real people. Wow. They're trying to flog injectables, talking about it, a whole article about it. I hate injectables, by the way, that word. And the two people that they'd used as the models in the magazine were not real people. They were AI. they said do you know where they put the bit about the photographer who the photographer is yeah yeah it was wrote there not real models AI models AI generated fuck world's gone mad so we're reading I mean we're looking at pictures in magazine now dare I say it they've been doing how many times you bought a fucking burger you've looked at the picture on the wall and went I'll have that burger and you get it and it's a piece of shit compared to the thing that they've manufactured I suppose though is there not something to be said about like that's that's like the food yeah on some level it's the same I know but this is talking about oh I want my forehead to look like that person there so I'm gonna go and get that Botox it's not a real person yeah it's not a real it's AI that's so dark that's so dark it's do you know there's AI porn now I think that's probably I read in it to be fair that's what I was thinking because no one's getting no one's getting deep level you're putting the porn stars out of work it's people's oh god i don't even think about that i just thought no one's getting sort of used do you know what i mean or like not looked after properly i think well it's obviously the dark side of porn but i think a lot of them enjoy doing it and it's the job you know but but the scary thing about ai porn is we could we could fully there's enough of us online and our voices we could fully be made out to porn vicky patterson did a documentary about it.

32:50Deepfake and sort of like, I bet they'd give me a flatter stomach.

32:58I can just imagine you going, I am furious about this. I can't, but hey, they've done us lovely though, haven't they, isn't they? Hey, do you think I'm nice? Hey, look at that. They've done us lovely. Hey, me chins have gone.

33:15I had to pick up on me one of my biggest insecurity. You are bloody beautiful. Stop it. Babadoo, babadoo, babadoo, bah. Little quick announcement before we go anywhere else. Our brand new children's Christmas picture book, There's a Poonami at Christmas, is out now. We did the... We did the voiceover for the audiobook idea. That was dead fun, wasn't it? Do you know what? It's a really good book. We wrote it months ago. Yeah. And I'd sort of forgotten. Well, I guarantee. So we had to do it down the line with a guy. Wonderfully talented sound guy called Joseph in London. I assume he was in London.

33:54Very posh. I said many times, you should be voicing this because you've got a voice like fucking Alexander Armstrong. He probably has done some. He does all of the gruffalo and all that. Does he? Yeah. Wow. He did all them audiobooks. Lovely bloke. But he listens to us read our book that we've written and we fuck up the words and we don't know what's going on. And it's because we wrote it ages ago. then we've got to do it. Because we're stupid as well because we didn't read it before we went in there. We should have read it on the way. We're very ill-prepared people. That's fine. We'll do stuff on the fly.

34:25Yeah, but it's out now. It's out for pre-order now. And yeah, I hope you guys, families enjoy it. Hope your kids enjoy it. We really enjoyed writing it and we enjoy reading it to the kids. It's really fun. It's really lovely. It's a nice little Christmas story with a bit of poo in there. Loads of poo, don't you? I do. Don't you be underselling the poo? There's absolutely mountains of the stuff. I do enjoy a Christmas book. Yeah. It's sad because they only come out at that time of the year, which is sad. But actually, I'm going to do a thing this year where I'm going to do them like an advent calendar.

34:53A little Christmas book? I think so. That's nice. We haven't got that much on over Christmas and I deliberately didn't want to because I want to do some nice little things before the kids get too old. Definitely. Because we're nearing that age with Robin. And we've been so busy of the late years. Yeah, we've always been busy in December. So this year, I want to... And I don't need to buy many more, to be honest with you, because we've got loads of Christmas books. I'm going to wrap them up. Nice. And let them open them every night. Rafe loves a book before bed. Robin's a bit big now. Isn't that sad?

35:21Robin's a bit too big for the books now. So it's just really... Well, yeah, I know, but he's... Yeah. So I'm going to wrap them all up. I'll do it for 10 days and then I'll forget. I look forward to that happening for one day. Rafe going, why have I opened this? I've already got this. This is off my shelf. And we're going, nah, fuck this. So, but that one day that we do it, it'll be magic. Will it be magic or will it be... It'll be... I'm going to go on record and say it'll be disappointing. that one day that we do it it will be disappointing we will get shouted at why I'm opening thing I've already got I already had this why has this happened I don't know no Rafe's a really grateful little child he'll really enjoy it I'm going to say opening even Rafe do you think he's going to say he's already got it I think test if you want to test Rafe's good nature you make that kid open a present that he already owns that'll be fun what'll happen is hey we've got a present for you this morning I've wrapped something for you this morning Rafe look it's your school uniform put it on Feliz Navidad I can't wait to listen to Feliz Navidad I love Feliz Navidad All I can say All I can say sorry Is him opening the book And then me having a discussion Slightly heated discussion Whilst he's going through his bookshelf Looking for that book I've only got it This is it Oh yeah it is I'm not going to bother Took us about 30 seconds to talk about that Excellent stuff But our book is new So get it in your collection Yes It's new Out for pre-order now Enjoy And TJ Jones are doing a competition my mum my mum sold it yesterday at my auntie Kath and then Kath's like I need to get it she can't win but I will get Kath a copy yeah like for free and like we'll have with all the books but why my mum's like enter the competition why do our family think that they can enter the they can't enter the competitions that we put on how bad would that be or who won it or me sister my mum and me auntie aww so could they they can't win our you think your mum and auntie can win a competition with our book for a free thing in Winter Wonderland I definitely think my mum is pretty old at the book for that exact reason.

37:17She's got no fucking chance. She's got no chance. Aw. But what's fair is it? It's not. It's going to look terrible. Well, this is why I'm sick of working with certain bloody TV channels in certain places. I can't enter any competitions now. Right. Yeah, okay. I don't... You know that? I used to enter that competition on this morning all the time. I can't anymore. Imagine. Rosie Ramsey's won it. 41:25absolutely not, no are you crazy? of course I didn't put the heating up shut up, did you not? I didn't. I said, yeah, I've sorted it. And she went, no bother. She didn't say anything else. I hadn't done it. It was all in our heads. In your head. In your head. Zombie. Zombie. Zombie.

41:49You're ringing out of grass, aren't you? Hi, ma 'am. Do you know when we were in London and Chris said he turned the heating up on the app? Yeah. He hadn't. Well, I guess that. Was it cold? Well, it didn't get any hotter. Yeah. But I just thought, well, I don't know. It was just that morning it was cold. I know. I'm just having a... I'm shouting at him now. Did he do a delivery? Was he done delivery? Yeah, I think he's a daughter. A little son. I know. Honest to God. I know. Well, tell him it's his children who are... Exactly. It's just in case he's an arsehole. 44:57Because that's quite tame. No, honestly, I do buy you lovely clothes. And you never remember. And then I wear something that I've bought and you go, I bought you that. No, you didn't. And then I wear something you did bought. You bought me this. And you literally go, no, I didn't. Fucking backward land. I don't know what your game is. I don't know what your fucking game is, mate. I was like, oh, God, she's not 8 stone. She's under 8 stone. She's fucking to blow away. You're on the podcast, you know. Oh, shut up.

She said, when the lineup for Series 19 was announced, I did some scouting on all the contestants and got hooked on your podcast immediately.

49:41Thank you so much. Oh, Ledge. Thank you. Thank you. Since I'm here, I figured I'd share a story. I work at a cemetery and crematorium. Oh. I don't normally get a chance to observe the happenings in our little chapel, but one of the times I did will stay with me forever. A crematory? A cematorium? Crematorium. A cemetery? A cematorium? What? A crematory. Stop it now. Okay. I think I might change my mind. You know, I think I want to be cremated. Good. I think. I don't know. We'll decide nearer the time. if it does happen if there's a freak accident I don't know oh god the pressure what do you want to be you want to be burned stuffed and mounted stuffed and mounted oh I'll shag you no no no no I'll shag you dead body I'll tell you exactly what I saw recently what the jiu jitsu dummies that you can roll with it's like a punch bag for jiu jitsu but obviously oh yeah I'll do that rather than shag you I'll just punch you to death no no no you can't punch you to death when you're dead So turn it, I want my ashes, all my body stuffed.

50:49I'll need joints put in and stuff again. There's a rigor mortis. I want turned into a jiu-jitsu dummy so people can just roll and do jiu-jitsu with us forever. Listen, the funeral was for an elderly lady. Let's call her Edith. Okay, she's called Edith. Good one. Good elderly lady name. Lovely name. Sorry, two seconds. I could imagine a baby called Edith as well. You can now because they're bringing them all back. Yeah. They're bringing them all back, all the older names. like little Nancy and Maggie, my best mates, little kids. But then you've got Edith Bowman, who's, dare I say it, a little bit older than us.

51:22But I think it might be one of those names that's just forever, like a forever name. Rosie. Rosie is a little old lady name, but it's also a little girl. And it's also a lot of dogs called Rosie. Mainly dogs. What were you saying? Five seven. So it's for the elderly lady, let's call it Edith. Yes. The first eulogy was your usual fare, a touching speech from her surviving husband. The second one was from a gentleman in his 60s, an old family friend. Immediately, he starts with, I remember the first time I met Edith was the day she took my virginity. Where's he from? Canada. That's not Canada. That's not Canada.

52:00He's from the South. He's from the deep South because I've been watching a program where the doctor is based in Houston. So they all talk like that. And that's me, current American accent. Again, not American, Canadian, but okay. So he said, when she took my virginity. So he was younger. So he's younger than the elderly husband. I'm guessing so. My eyes bulged. He went on to explain that she'd met him on the beach, seduced this much younger man and slept with him. There was good natured chuckling. He then explained that he found out that this was something she enjoyed doing, taking young men's virginity.

52:34I couldn't see the widow's face, but he seemed to be nodding along as if to say, classic Eden. Oh, fuck. why is this prick grassing her up at her funeral I've seen many eulogies since but none have topped that no way yeah so then everyone must like must be something she's known for it must be a thing and everyone must know about it and it must because otherwise you're getting you're getting ragged out of that funeral by the scruff of your neck by your grandson or a nephew no it must be a thing she did classic Edith babadoo babadoo babadoo bah hi team just listening to your latest episode where you couldn't remember the Coronation Street theme tune and it unlocked a very strange memory of why this theme tune is ingrained in my memory.

53:19Growing up, someone from my school lived opposite me, so we spent a lot of time in and out of each other's houses. Yep, been there. His parents were obsessed with Coronation Street to the point where they had the theme tune implanted in their kitchen cupboard so every time they opened the cupboard, it played the theme tune. Fucking parotossers. Like one of those birthday cards you open and they play a song. Every time I tell this story, I question myself as to whether it is even true, as it's so ridiculous. With a Mandela effect going on. But I check with my mum, and it's 100 % true. And they've signed off saying, people are ridiculous.

53:55Absolutely. That's awful. So, I'm guessing it was the dad. He's either... Why are you guessing it's the dad? Because I think he's made it himself. He's either sorted that out and made it himself, or he's took it from like a birthday card or a thing. Well, how would you do it? It's quite clever though. Well, no, when I was on Taskmaster, I took that table, that family heirloom table where you open it and it plays the Godfather thing in June. Oh, yeah. So, what a fucking pair of knobs. I think they are the kind of family that would have one of them Billy Bass things on the wall as well. Oh, 100%.

54:36100%. We used to sell them at the gadget shop. I hated that I fucking hated that era I knew you did what it was before Billy Bass stuff wasn't it yeah I hated it but then again we were very easily entertained oh massively now we've got like scroll scroll scroll fucking 600 videos no need a better one dopamine hit then it was just like press that button press that little red button and this fish moves on the wall sings head out and it sings what did it used to sing it was something like yeah it was exactly that No, I'm going to have to find out. Wait a minute. Sorry. Billy Bass Fish. Was that what it was called?

55:13Big Mouth Billy Bass.

55:30That was it.

55:37Oh.

55:41All in the fast version.

55:47Turn it off now. And I... Turn it off. And I just... It goes for third speed. This part of me wants this deleted from the entire podcast. I hope that's copyrighted, and I hope we have to delete this from the podcast, because some fucking prick out there is going to send us one of these. I'm going to be absolutely right. More than one person will send it. Do not fucking send us a Big Mouth Billy Bass. I'll have one. Just as a little further. I'll put one in the office. I just quickly Googled it. Do you know in the first year of that toy being on sale? Toy? Art? Do you know it made$100 million in revenue.

56:28Stop it! I've just Googled how many of them were sold. While the exact worldwide sales numbers are not publicly available, Big Mouth Billy Bass generated over$100 million in revenue in its first year, 1999. Wow. 1999? Fuck. $100 million in revenue. $100 million. Wow. Can we just spit? Can we give it a little? I refuse. It was a simpler time, wasn't it? Yeah, it was great. Miss them days. Yeah, I think I do as well, you know. I think that's why I hate it, because I miss it. I'm jealous of it. Babadoo, babadoo, babadoo, ba. My boyfriend of five years just said, this is probably weird but I reckon the reason I'm good at figuring is because I'm good at gaming.

57:11Fingering? Mm-hmm. That's it. He's just said that to her. Just said. He's just so out of nowhere I reckon I'm good at fingering because I'm good at gaming. He's just reviewed his own fingering and then gave a reason for it. Much like he's a top flight sportsman being interviewed at the end of a successful match. Yeah. Fair play. Good for him. Imagine being that confident. Just nowhere. just out of nowhere you love you know how I'm good at fingering probably because I'm good at gaming fair fucking play some people are so confident I know and I love that he said that and she went two seconds picked that phone up and immediately emailed us that deserves a clap thank you thank you babadoo babadoo babadoo hello Rosie and Chris just listening to Tornail Barbie

He's done.

58:34He's told the lesson. This story reminded me of a lady at work. Why are you laughing at me? It's funny that you're going to go back and be like, it's not as dirty this time, is it? And he's going to go, he's literally going to go, what? Man takes thousands of cars a week. It's not a lucky. It's not as bad, is it? What? Sorry. I want to keep on top of it because I had left it for a long time. In his defense, he was right. Yeah, it was disgusting. This is a story about a lady at work. She won't mind me telling you and finds this hilarious. She recently went to Turkey for a gastric sleeve where they basically cut out half of your stomach to make you eat less.

59:08When she woke up, the surgeon said, your stomach, very big.

59:17Very big stomach. Effectively fat shaming her and her effort to lose weight. Sorry, not just fat shaming. Internal fat shaming. Just your organs. Like literally your organs. Very big stomach. Well, not anymore. But yeah. Wow. Well, it's not her fault then. If she wants to be full and your big stomach, then what are you supposed to do? Do you know what I mean? I love feeling full. I love feeling full. Oh, well, I've been watching 600 Pound Life. Not that fucking full. No, not that full. I'm obsessed with it. Yeah. And I've never resonated with people so much. Yeah. I get it. Like, they've all had a lot of trauma in their life.

1:00:03This is what it always comes down to. It's always a lot of trauma. And it's like a, it's just like a coping mechanism. But it's like, it's like alcoholism and drug addiction. Oh, it's an addiction. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's totally, it's a - To that level. Of course it is. Yeah. But I get it. When I'm sad. Did you say butter or butter? Did you say butter? Did you say butter twice there? No. Right. just checking I thought you'd said butter butter butter this is where Chris tries to turn everything into a joke yours make it dark and then I just try and pull it back what I was going to say it's real life bitch you definitely said trauma you said the word trauma this is Shagmary annoyed what I was going to say is I love feeling full so sometimes when you go let's be good and you make us salmon for tea I know big mouth Billy salmon then we end up having crisps it's fucking half because I go oh I had salmon and broccoli oh how do you feel dreadful I know absolutely dreadful inside out I feel like I haven't ate for weeks I was at the butchers the other day and the lady what do you call the lady butchers I think it's a butchurette I think it's a butchurette I think it's a libertine butchurette anyway she said she said you've lost weight and I was like oh thank you so much what and obviously buzzing but like I wanted to say she was like how have you done it and I was like well I've just been eating better I wanted to say I just go to bed hungry just go to bed really sad I'm really fucking hungry every night.
