In short

“Bumper Summer Best Of – Part One” is a compilation episode from Shagged Married Annoyed, mixing comedic skits and listener Q&A. Recurring bits include “What’s Your Beef?” (petty relationship grievances), celebrity-style questions, and advice segments on dating/sex and moving in together. It also includes a running parody “Lemonati” vs 7up “lime lemon soda” ad/jingle and frequent James Bond drink chatter.

Guests

No external guests appear. The hosts are Rosie and Chris (with recurring mentions of their toddler Robin). Multiple “love story” segments are read by other named narrators (e.g., Temby Denton-Hurst; Nicola Dynan; Curtis Garner), but they’re not interviewed guests.

Key claims

Couples argue more after kids; “perfect” no-argue couples must have a hidden “lamp” level issue; wives/partners allegedly don’t believe men when they’re ill; moving in together often becomes “his place” and creates conflict.

Notable examples

Chris’s embarrassing triple-accident at traffic lights; a Dubai date where the man turns out to work in porn; a “first foursome on Wednesday” advice question; ketchup fridge vs cupboard; and “favourite parent/remote/grumpiest in the morning” (Jason Manford question).

0:00For decades, a shadowy organization called the Lemonati has kept lemon on top and lime in the shadows. Look around, lemon forward sodas, even lemon forward songs. We ran the tracks, slowed them down, reversed them and squeezed out the truth.

0:19That's lemon propaganda right there. But now 7up is fighting back with their new lime lemon soda. Join the 7up rising. Flip the sip. I don't think I can be your friend, Isabella said. Rebecca's stomach flipped. This is the love story of real hinge couple Isabella and Rebecca, written and read by me, Temby Denton-Hurst. Listen to the free audiobook now.

0:47Rosie Ramsey:Hello, you're listening to Shagged Married Annoyed Bumper Summer Best Of. Bumper Summer Best Of. Ooh, very exciting. Happy holidays. That's what we'll see at Christmas. Do you mean happy holidays? I mean, like summer holidays. Yeah, we're all on the summer holidays. It's only out for the summer. So you're listening to episode one. And just to give you a little teaser of what we've got coming up, it's very much at the beginning of the podcast. It's mad. So we got an email explaining what this is. And I can't remember. I mean, one thing that jumps out is Robin is three years old. That's terrifying.

1:21Our nine-year-old is three years old. Oh, he's going to be 10 in October. Oh, my God.

1:25Rosie Ramsey:Holy shit. Actually, to people who have been listening to this from the beginning, does that make you feel old? Yeah. It makes me feel really old. And thank you. Yeah, thank you so much. You've been listening for ages. Yeah, thank you. It says here that we talk about why we're doing a podcast. Chris reveals that he's got smartly dressed for the podcast and Rosie, oh, I'm getting 100 ,000 followers on Instagram. Man. And apparently I said it's better than weddings and births, so that's nice. That sounds exactly like something you would say. Yeah. It says here as well, we talk about who the next James Bond will be.

1:55They still haven't sorted that out.

1:57Rosie Ramsey:No, they haven't. it was going to be Idris Elba then it's been someone else oh my gosh who's it going to be six years ago they still haven't sorted it out where we are though you know that we've talked about this now I bet it gets announced next week do you reckon yeah that weird stuff like that happens to us still could be me still could be me no got a little bit of grey in me beard they're talking about possibly being Tom Holland oh Spidey imagine Spidey and James Bond what a guy oh okay I don't know if I look at him like that fucking good golfer as well I don't think I look at him like that well that's the point isn't it is it Yeah, there's never been a really young James Bond.

2:29Rosie Ramsey:Right, okay. I mean, I could, yeah, okay. I wouldn't, I wouldn't disapprove. What a guy. I've seen him with Zendaya when he, like, grabs her out. When she's getting, like, accosted by the paparazzi and that. He, like, pulls her out of it and it's, it's, God, it's lush, like. Oh, is it now? Oh, is it now? It is. Is it now? It is, it's just nice, it's nice. By the way, on this episode of the Bumper Summer, tra-la-la. Yeah. Foursome's on a Wednesday. Is that, is this for? That's coming up. Well, well, well. So, guys, enjoy. Oh, my God, there's still celebrity questions on this. Remember when we gave up celebrity questions?

3:05Rosie Ramsey:We did two of them, then stopped. I fucking hated emailing and texting people, asking them to do stuff. We should start it up again, but we got the ick asking people, didn't we? Yeah, I didn't like it. I don't like asking people stuff. Well, we'll see. We might. Let's try and do it again. We might. Now, what we should do now is, right, we should play this, right? Let everyone hear all this, and then we'll come in at the end and do it out. We'll pretend we were listening with them. Okay. All right. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Enjoy! We had a fight about the jingle. We couldn't settle on a jingle. So this is the jingle.

3:41Rosie Ramsey:We hope you like the jingle.

3:50What was your third W? Why?

3:53Rosie Ramsey:Why are we doing a podcast? Yeah. We're doing a podcast because we quite like talking to each other. And this is the only way we get to have a conversation these days, isn't it? Yeah, without a toddler in a room or without sitting on my phones. Yeah. I'm actually looking at you when I'm talking. It's quite nice, isn't it? No. No, it's awful. I put makeup on today. Yeah. So you should think yourself. I've got a shirt on. I know. Oh, you got ready for work, didn't you? I got ready for work. Do you want to tell everyone about that? I did. So I'm sitting here with me. I've got my socks, outdoor shoes on.

4:26I've got khaki trousers, like sort of chinos. I've got a shirt on, buttoned up, one button undone. I've got my wedding ring on. I've got a nice watch on. I've got my hair done. I'm literally ready for work because I got out of the shower and I thought, you know what? I could put my pajamas back on because we're just doing a podcast. But, you know, mindset.

4:46Rosie Ramsey:Yeah, no, that's a really good thing to do because when you work from home, it is hard to get into like a routine. I want the Amazon guy to knock on the door and I want to open it and go, it snowed under in here, mate. And he goes, are you working? I am working. You look bloody smart casual for your living room. I am. Thank you. What if someone does come to the door? What are we going to do? I'll just go, sorry, mate. We're busy in here. We're having a meeting. Yeah. Do you know what happened to me this week? What's happened to you this week? I got 100 ,000 followers on Instagram. Hey! Clap yourself.

5:18A job and 100 ,000 followers. in one week.

5:22Rosie Ramsey:Oh, God! This is the best week ever. This is better than wedding, birth, everything. Thanks. Yeah, good. It's great. I mean, Robin would be upset, but I'm, yeah. I get over it. Yeah. We haven't mentioned Robin yet. Oh my, no we haven't. Right. it's because he's out of the house, out of sight, out of mind. It is. We've got a son. Yeah. He's three. Three years old. He's genuinely wonderful, isn't he? Yeah, he's mint. He is great. Especially when he's not here. Oh, I love him more when he's not here. When we talk about him when he's not here, he's like the best thing ever, isn't he? We gush about it.

5:58Rosie Ramsey:It's disgusting, actually. Well, sometimes he leaves and we sit watching videos of him, which is just pathetic. We do that a lot. It's just a waste of time, isn't it? That's like having builders in and once they've finished watching our feed his own pet.

6:12Rosie Ramsey:But do you love that we will watch a two-minute video of him, right? But sometimes if he's like, Mommy, Mommy, come and do this game. I'm like, oh, Robin, no. I'm watching a video of you. Yeah, I'm watching a video of you. Play by yourself. I'm watching a video of you playing. God, love him. Yeah, he's lovely. So he's knocking about. You might hear from him later on. But what was better than him being born was 100 ,000 followers. Work! Nick. Babadoo, babadoo, babadoo, babadoo. How are you this week? How's your week been? Pretty uneventful, I'm not going to lie. Same. Did you get loads of Valentine's Day presents?

6:48Rosie Ramsey:Oh yeah, literally the postman never left the door. All day. It was just like van after van, kind of handing stuff down the drive. It was a conveyor belt, wasn't it? In real life, I got nothing. No, neither did I. Funny that. Well, yeah. So what are you going to do? No, we don't celebrate Valentine's Day, do we? No, well, can I just say as well, Rosie, you've got some flower subscription. They bring flowers every week to you. Fresh flowers to the house that you're signed up to. So there's me, knackered. I can't buy your flowers anymore but they did come on Valentine's Day and I did run in with the box of flowers and say happy Valentine's that was nice although you had paid for them very true and ordered them and you knew they were coming we've got more than one room yeah but oh god that just ends up that ends up being like dead flowers with them like you know how lilies are like booby trapped and then bits of like they've got like bits of sharpie that grow out the end of them oh that orange sharpie yeah and then falls on the carpet so they end up everywhere and then it just ends up with like swamp water in various vases around the house.

7:49That is true.

7:49Rosie Ramsey:You don't stay on top of them. Babes, I don't stay on top of anything. We've established this. How has your week been? My week's been fine. Has it been fine though, Christopher? Are you talking about my week on my weekend? I'm talking specifically about a journey in a car on a road at a set of traffic lights. so uh i crashed our car in the most embarrassing way i think i've ever crashed a car in my life so we were at some traffic lights uh there was a fiesta in front uh quite a sporty looking fiesta and we were behind it and we'd been driving for about five minutes and the little isofix plastic things had come off robin's seat because we've got a new seat which had new ones so i put the spare ones in the little door well thing and they were rattling and the noise of the rattling was upsetting us so at the lights i put the automatic handbrake on and i leant into the back to try and grab them out of the out of the door behind my driving seat i accidentally accidentally while stretching and twisting put my foot on the accelerator and crashed into the car in front of her how many times well i crashed and then i sat up and i tried i went oh it's okay i'll fix this i'll put my foot on the brake twice wasn't the brake it was the accelerator so i hit them Three times.

9:07Three times. Three times I crashed into that bar.

9:09Rosie Ramsey:Yeah, three times I saw my life flash before my eyes. He was the nicest guy. He got out. He was so lovely. Do you know his name was Johnny? Do you know I saved him in my phone as Johnny Crash?

9:25Rosie Ramsey:Poor Johnny Crash. What a lovely guy. He was lovely, actually. I'm sending him some Budweiser. He asked for some Budweiser. I said, what's your address? What are your drink? He said, Budweiser. I'm really glad he didn't see it. God, you got out of this totally scot-free. I've been like, I drink Dom Perignon. A 1986 Dom Perignon vintage, as seen on Moonraker, James Bond. He has it shaken, not stirred. Well, when he's having a martini, you fucking philistine. What the hell's wrong with you? Shaken, not stirred, champagne. What's he having? Alka-Seltzer. I'll have the flattest champagne you've got going, thank you, bartender.

10:03Flat room temperature champagne that you've fannied on with, please. You thought he had every drink shaken, not stirred.

10:11Rosie Ramsey:Yes. I'm not a massive James Bond fan. I'm telling you right now, James Bond has two drinks shaken, not stirred. He has his martini shaken, not stirred. Yeah. And he has his Nesquik chocolate drink milk. Shaken, not stirred. It would be lumpy as hell. Yeah, because when you stir it, you get a couple of lumps. Dry, powdery lumps. And when he's having his protein shake, he has that shake and not stirred because he's got a protein shaker, I imagine, because he's James Bond and he's got muscles. Of course he has. Like a man. Oh, who's the new James Bond? We don't know yet, do we? We don't know. It's going to be Idris Elba, which I thought would have been amazing, but he's denied it loads.

10:46Rosie Ramsey:What? What? What would you do if they asked you? I couldn't. So sorry. Sorry, can I just say? I'm really trying to say that with a second. I'm absolutely loving the fact that you couldn't even finish the sentence without pissing yourself laughing. Oh, gosh. That's great. What would I do if he asked me? I would say... You'd have to go to the gym for a start. Can I keep my accent? Can he be a Geordie James Bond? Is that possible? The name's Bond. James Bond. Jim Bond.

11:25What's your beef?

11:26Rosie Ramsey:What's your beef? What's your beef? What's your beef? Just be that up. It's impromptu. Thank you. Thank you as well for all your lovely comments about the jingle. Very chuffed with that. Everyone's, yeah. It is me doing all of the parts. Yeah. Thank you. Yeah. She's very much Eddie Murphy and the Naughty Professor on the jingle. Selfish. She's done everything. She's done the backing track. If you think you're going to hear an instrument, it's not. It's just her humming or patting the desk. I got a shout jingle at the end, which Rosie didn't even want us to do. It was Steph who recorded it with her.

11:58Rosie Ramsey:Didn't want you to do it at all, if I'm honest. Didn't want you on at all, but that's fine. So as the podcast called Shagged, Married, Annoyed, a section we're doing, it's called What's Your Beef? Do you want me to do the What's Your Beef? What's Your Beef? What's Your Beef again? God alive, you've just done that. I'll not, yeah. It's called What's Your Beef. So we just, you know, in a very, you know, mature way, like the airwaves grievances about each other, on the podcast airwaves. Why not? And why not indeed? I remember when we first put the thing out a while ago, I said, what's your beef? We're going to talk about beefs.

12:28What's your beef for your partner? and someone did actually say, why don't you just talk about what you love about each other? No, thanks. Honestly, I filled the bath with vomit when I read that. We got a big bath. Now, you can go first. What's your beef with me this week?

12:43Rosie Ramsey:My beef with you this week. Or every week, actually. It's not like it just happened recently.

12:51You can't tell you what she's doing. She's got her arms in the air, she's stretching, getting ready for this.

12:56Rosie Ramsey:Right. Like a tennis player. Why? Why is it that every time we hug, you burp?

13:08Rosie Ramsey:Why? Why? I will put my arms around you in a loving embrace. I might rub your back up and down a couple of times. And you belch. You've answered your own question. Like a three-month-old baby. And it's disgusting. You've answered your own question. You rub your back. Your wind is not what you're doing. you're a grown man a windy man a windy man no right I don't know I don't know I'm going to be honest with you I'm going to just blame it on coincidence a lot of the time I'm ready to have a little burp what every single time that we're about to hug honestly almost all the time and then and then you come for a hug and I go I was about to burp and then you hug and then I'm so relaxed and happy when I hug you it just slips out I just squeeze it out yeah yeah it might be I'm relaxed it might be I don't know what it is well what kind of marriage are we going to have going forward where we can't embrace in case you just have to fucking birth like what what if every time we held hands I'd just shit myself what would you do

14:08I'll be honest with you I wouldn't be bothered with that and I would weaponise that in public places don't you I definitely would I'd be in the metro centre and you'd be going oh what do you I can't go to five guys why don't you no let's go for a salad oh come here love calm down see you in a bit and I would just leg it to five guys. Honestly. Please start doing that. No. I would have loved that so much. On a night out, lads, watch this, watch this. Rosie, come here. You having a good night, darling? Yeah? All right, yeah, it's all the boys. Oh, come here. Ah! Taxi! I'd be over the moon. It's the most horrible thing.

14:47I don't know why, but my mum and dad came for dinner yesterday, didn't they? And my mum hugged our son, Robin, to say bye. and she put her arms around him and he did a massive burp. Yeah. And I was like, oh my God, that's what I do. And then my mum hugged me and because I can burp on command, I did the same to her. But she laughs because she, you know, she's my mum and she thinks I'm brilliant.

15:04Rosie Ramsey:Yeah, she doesn't have to have sex with you. Oh my God. I do. And unfortunately, sometimes hugging can lead to sex. If you're burping, then it's not going to happen. No, no, no. You know, I would never do it. It's really often. No, because I wouldn't have said it if it happened a couple of times. Right. It's probably three out of five times. Wow. It is! You're the one bourbon! Can I see the graph you've made of this? Can I see your research? No. Okay. Don't want to talk about it anymore. I'll try not to. Right, well, come on. What's your beef for me? What's my beef about you? Okay, good beef. Well done.

15:38I like that. My beef with you this week is you will not let me be ill. Oh, God. You will not let me be poorly. How are you then? You just won't have it.

15:52Rosie Ramsey:Right. It's craziness. Larry Lemson. I'll feel a bit poorly, and I'll tell you, and I'll see it straight. You're just annoyed about it. You're just irritated. And I want to know, gentlemen out there, is this a thing? Are wives just heartless? Once you have a kid, are you just a heartless harpy? And I'm pointing at you when I say that, Rosie, right? I can't be ill. If I'm ill, if I don't feel well, you're just, you're having absolutely none of it. You automatically think I'm lying or you just don't want anything to do with it. Because you're pathetic. You are pathetic. I don't mind you saying you're poorly.

16:28Rosie Ramsey:I don't mind you being poorly. Just be poorly and just don't tell us every 20 minutes. And you know what? You're not actually really in noises, right? We're going to have first episode and we're going to have a fight. We're going to have a scratch. This is just a little thing. I bleed out my vagina every month, right? For about a week. What? Do I? Shut up. What's happening? Shut up. but do I like that is a big thing it hurts it's painful I feel crap right do I bang on about it constantly yes no I do not you're poorly you are poorly got a little bit of the sniffles right which you still have a drink though might I add that's a different thing if you're really poorly you don't have a glass of wine sorry no not falling for it oh shut up hey the wine made us feel good for about half an hour I have about half an hour till everybody left and then it was the on the set A with your hood up.

17:20Rosie Ramsey:Oh, your hood up. Hoodie, hood up. So I had my hood up on the set A last night watching Star Wars like a child because I wasn't well. I hate you. Honestly. You've just got no sympathy for me. I do. I have a lot of sympathy. I brought you paracetamols in bed yesterday. So don't even. And you've had three lions. I've had three lions. Right. So do you want to apologise? That's lions, not lions. I didn't. I'll be in the zoo again, Chris. I thought he'd make you feel better I'm going to have to get a third lion how ill is he that he's not cheered up by two lions you see the beefs always start nasty but they always end well it's always good love you love you too the Lemonati has spent decades keeping lemon on top and lime in the shadows their lemon agenda has infiltrated everything Even our music That hit song named after the color of lemons Not a coincidence Big Lemon has been pulling strings in the industry for years Think about it But now, 7up is fighting back with their new lime lemon soda Now lime comes first 7up, flip the sip I want to date with Rawls, Carty says Rawls?

19:26Rosie Ramsey:Rosie and Chris, where do you stand on couples that never argue? I've been with my girlfriend for seven years, we're getting married in April, and we've had one argument about a lamp. Oh. I've got so many questions. I mean, I want to see what was the lamp. My question is, if you are in this perfect, incredible, loving, Mary Poppins-like zen relationship and you do not have a crossed word for seven years, how bad was this lamp? Was it like a porcelain cock with a lampshade? Oh my God, it must have been. How bad was this lamp? Jesus. Like not a crossed word and they see the lamp and they just start punching the shit out of each other.

20:07Yeah, like, did they buy that lamp from the other person's ex-girlfriend or boyfriend?

20:15Rosie Ramsey:Do you know what I mean? That's how bad it must have been. Like, did they buy that lamp whilst giving a blowjob to somebody else? Maybe we're thinking wrong. Maybe it wasn't a lamp lamp. Maybe it was like a genie lamp and they got three wishes and the argument was who got the final wish because they got one each and then the argument was who got the last wish. And what you should have done there, wished for unlimited wishes. Idiots. Where did that even come from? That's what a lamp is. Before I knew what a lamp was, you know what it was this? Before I knew what a genuine lamp was, Aladdin was my only famous reference for what a lamp was.

20:49Rosie Ramsey:What age were you when you found out what a lamp was? Well, when I found out that a lamp wasn't a little weird teapot-looking thing. What are you talking about? When you're a kid, you watch Aladdin and you go rub the lamp, or you watch anything and they use rub the lamp. It's not a lamp, it looks like a teapot. Yeah, but did you not grow up in a house? Did your mum not have a lamp? I don't think lamps were popular when I was a kid. Lamps is not a new invention. They've been around for a long time. So did your mum never say, turn the big light off, put the lamps on? Possibly. But what I'm saying is, I was aware of what a genie lamp was before I was aware of what a lamp lamp was.

21:28Rosie Ramsey:Well done for you, you moron. Like, that's ridiculous. is. I'm like, do you realise that we are arguing about the one argument that then people have had? Oh my god! Do you know what their argument was? Do you know what their first argument was? They read this message from someone else. It's like a chain email. They didn't pass it on to ten people and they argued about it. It must have been. This is tragic. We argue a lot. We do argue a lot, but we didn't argue to be fair until we had kids. Yeah, have they got kids? Until we had a kid, we didn't argue. Bet they haven't got kids. Yeah. we were at we never did did we?

22:04we were at the City Hall we had this conversation recently we were at Newcastle City Hall and Glenn Ruffhead singer Glenn Ruffhead said he never ever argues with his

22:11Rosie Ramsey:he's never argued with his wife or they're married I don't know if they're married but they have got a kid yeah and he's about two and a half what's going on there? we were very shocked by this weren't we? shocked jealous mortified yeah thought he was lying I went through a range of emotions same it's funny how quickly you can go off a person Yeah. Sometimes I think, when blokes go, we never argue. I sometimes honestly just think, I don't think your wife listens to you. Yeah. I think you talk and she just nods. No, you do argue. You just don't realise. You don't know what's happening. Babadoo, babadoo, babadoo, babadoo.

22:47Rosie Ramsey:So there was one particular question that caught my eye. Oh, this is... I woke up in the middle of the night thinking about this question. Yeah. So, this was from a lady. Rosie and Chris, I'm giving my man his first foursome on Wednesday. How are we going to cope?

23:12Well, very generous.

23:14Rosie Ramsey:Very generous of her. I mean, first of all, foursome on Wednesday. In my head when she says I'm giving my man his first foursome on Wednesday, all I saw was a calendar in her laptop or her phone. And Wednesday, you click on it and it just says foursome, 8pm. Is it just me? But that's a weekend thing, isn't it?

23:35Do you know what I mean? You're knocking out foursomes midweek.

23:38Rosie Ramsey:You cannot be having a foursome during the week. Wednesday. Wednesday. So, another... I've got so many questions. Well, I've got another question, okay. When did the threesome happen? Has the threesome happened? I don't think I'm straight forward to the foursome. Twosome to foursome. Who knows? It's craziness. Who are they asking? Is it going to be three men and her? Yeah. Or is it going to be three women including her and him? Or is it going to be like another couple? It'll be another couple. It'll be another couple. Oh, God. I'm giving my man. So he's literally, I mean, it sounds like you put it on his Christmas list.

24:17It might be. He opened a card. He opened a card. I imagine the kids are sitting around. He opened the card and he went, oh, God, thanks so much, darling. I love you. And the kids went, what did you get him, man? and he went, nothing. It's a golf trip. Hole in one. Par four. High five.

24:38Rosie Ramsey:Yeah, well done. Well done. Funnies. The funnies. That's what I do. Shouldn't have said that. Ruined it. That is, honestly, I mean, what is going on? How much admin? Could you be arsed with a foursome? Babe, I can hardly be arsed to have sex with you. Not being funny. Imagine adding three more, no, two more people into it. It's just too much. I've never understood threesomes or foursomes. Tell you what, though, if they do that in a small enough room and they start with cuddles, there's going to be a lot of burps kicking about. Oh, God. Imagine if we had a threesome, right, or a foursome, God forbid.

25:18Rosie Ramsey:I would have to say it to everyone, right, guys, just to let you know. Don't cuddle. If you cuddle Chris, he might let out a little burp. it's affectionate it doesn't mean means he's relaxed means he's comfortable with you while you're at it don't hold me hand or the day's over

25:42Rosie Ramsey:imagine it would get out all the other swingers oh you know the Ramseys oh he burps when you cuddle and she shits herself when you hold her

25:53their keys have been removed permanently from the fruit bowl.

26:01Oh my God.

26:03Rosie Ramsey:But I feel, no, we need to give a little bit of advice. Come on, people ask us questions to give advice. My first bit of advice, right, and I don't want to sound like an old man here, but my first bit of advice is the way you've worded that, mate, I'm giving my man his first foursome, how will we cope? If you don't want to do it, you don't have to do it. You don't have to do anything, love, that you don't want to do. If you don't want to do it, you don't have to do it. I mean, my practical advice would be don't eat anything. Make sure no one eats anything spicy. Oh, that's going to repeat on you for a couple of days beforehand.

26:32Everyone brush your teeth, wash your hands, hand sanitizer at the ready. Baby wipes for days, mate. Protection. Oh, yeah, yeah, protection as well. Why is that your last thing? I'm just thinking about cleanliness. Honestly, I would, if I, I'm sorry, I could not imagine the blooming admin involved in it. If I was going to have a foursome, they would come round my house, they would leave immediately because they'd walk in the bedroom and there'd be plastic sheeting everywhere like Dexter. Like I was about to chop a body up. I'd literally be like, look, I've put plastic. It would be like a slip and slide.

27:05It would be like a deflated bouncy castle the whole room.

27:08Rosie Ramsey:Oh, don't because, you know, in films, when there's a film and it's like a joke that there's always someone with someone who has to have a shower. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's literally you. Honestly, there'd be a decontamination chamber. They'd come in and like a little, oh, the headache involved in a force. Yeah, it's not good. Like what if as well, you know when you sort of like, if you're having, you know, you're starting as a couple, if you're having a bit of kissing and a bit of cuddling, you know, and then you start, you know, a bit of an item of clothing moves and then something starts happening and here and there.

27:41What if one couple's doing it and then you have to sort of look over and see where the other ones are at and be like, oh God, they're already blooming third bit right we need to hurry up or what if you have to rewind do you know what I mean slow down we've already got their pants off but they're just you know they're just cuddling and kissing well we're just

27:56Rosie Ramsey:we're just foursome virgins there's a lot of people have threesomes and foursomes horrible I couldn't think of anything worse if you're listening you're all animals you're not going to Netflix you're not going to you're not going to the internet porn what's a matter what you're what's a bit of porn honestly anyway have a lovely time yeah have a great time I mean We'll be thinking about you on Wednesday. I will not be thinking about you on Wednesday. If I think about it, you'll have to get in the shower. God. Bless her. Have fun. Have a good time. Stay safe, guys. That, no. No, la, la, la, la, la.

28:30Don't make that noise. Question here from Rebecca. What was it like when you first moved in together? Did you start fresh and get a new place together, or did one of you move into the other's house slash flat? me and my boyfriend are thinking about moving in to his flat this year and setting up a joint account for the bills and all sorts

28:49Rosie Ramsey:don't do it really you'll hate it well tell I had a little bungalow didn't I you had like an old nana bungalow it was really weird when we'd been together three months and you were like I'm buying a house and I was going oh mint great and you were like do you want to come see it I was like yeah why not I mean we're going out together let's go have a look it was a bungalow I didn't find it weird at the time because they were really nice and the rooms were massive and it was quite modern and nice oh it was lovely but it was a bungalow it was a full on bungalow I was the youngest person in the street by 50 years the man across the road used to hoover his drive I was about to mention him honestly I would look out of my office and he would be hoovering his drive and to this day I've got no idea I don't know if he was losing his mind I don't know if he had a carpet on his drive I don't know what it was It was just really, really weird.

29:42Whoever he's driving parked his car on the road, it was well annoying.

29:45Rosie Ramsey:Well annoying. He waited long. He waited like long after the six weeks don't park on your drive rule. Yeah. He did it for like two years. Craziness, yeah. But I did, I had a little old person's bungle. You had a old person's bungle. Brand new, it was a new build. Yeah, it was lovely, but it was just very male. All your furniture was square. And like, it was just a bit sad. I don't really like it. I didn't like it at all, actually, did I? I hated it. No, you hated it, yeah. And you lived there more than me, because I got it and went straight on tour and you moved in. I mean, I got a very good deal, because you were like, we've been together for three months, come and see me house.

30:20Rosie Ramsey:Just stay here all the time. You were never there. It was like I bought my own place. It was great, but I just hated it. You hated it. Well, can I say, right? What you did was, you lived there for about three months with me, right? We lived there together, and it was great. You basically lived there. You never went back to your mum's or anything, right? then when I officially said you can move in, you went back to your mum's and got a load of old school reports and boxes of shit out the loft that you'd never touched and just brought them into my garage. That's what it meant. I think the word you're looking for, Chris, is memories.

30:54It's just like, Olivia now, I'll just bring these massive boxes of shit that I've never touched. I'll just blow all the dust off them and stick them in your garage.

31:02Rosie Ramsey:You've got to take them with you. You've got to let them at your mum's. Me mum's got a flat. It was taking up room. The memories were scattered all over the place. It was heartbreaking. Bring me memories with us on me back like a little tortoise. Yeah. Get us all my old school reports. You are heartless. Macaroni pictures. There is no macaroni pictures. I was. I'd have put them on the fire. This is new information, that. I can't believe that you were upset by that. No, it was just like, oh, Olivia, now I'll just bring a load of shit I don't need. Oh, that's what happens when you move in with people?

31:31Rosie Ramsey:You bring your, you know, your retrospective stuff? Yeah, I suppose it's just because my mum and dad have got a loft, so I just left it at theirs. Oh, la-di-da, well done you. I'm dreading them dying, not because I miss them, because I'll just have to sort through all the shit in their loft. It's been a horrible day. If your mum is anything like you, which I know that she is, you'll have nothing from your childhood. Quality. Absolutely nothing. I'll be like, have you got any of your school report? Nope, nothing. They were all bad. They were all he talks too much. I didn't get a good school report.

31:59I've never had a good school report in my life. Oh, no, I got one good school report at the comp, and it was that good. I'm not joking. and I had all the way through infants, all the way through juniors, no good reports. First report I got at the comp was amazing. They bought us a bike. That's how buzzing they were about it.

32:11Rosie Ramsey:You are the most spoiled little brat I've ever known in my whole life. That's what everyone at school said. You got a bike for a good report. I had never had a good report ever. I'd never had one. I'd never had a good parents evening. I'd never had a good report. I know a bike was a lot, right? It was before my birthday. I got an early birthday present. I got it as an early birthday present, but I was allowed to get it early because I got a good report because they were literally blown away. then I got a good report. Did you get clothes for Easter? Yes. Did you not get clothes for Easter? No, there was three of us.

32:42Rosie Ramsey:Really? No. Is that why you love Easter eggs so much? Well, actually, when I was younger, at Easter, we used to get Easter eggs, but I started asking me mum for just a big bar of chocolate because you got more.

32:56Like a drug dealer with some scales. Mum, I've done the maths here. Selection box versus Easter egg. Honestly. Mum, I'm coming off a mug here, I'll be honest with you. So what we're saying to Rebecca, we're saying if you move in, make sure you're half the stuff.

33:12Rosie Ramsey:Move in for a bit, save and move out. Right, and get your own place so it's not just his place. Rebecca, it's always going to be his place. Yeah, and then if you have a fight, he's always going to say, get out of my house, and you're going to go back to my house as well. And you go, well, actually, I'm going to have to get out longer. Because it does happen. Didn't happen with us, luckily, because we weren't there very long, but it would have happened. And because you lived there longer than me. True. 35:05Their lemon agenda has infiltrated everything, even our music. That hit song named after the color of lemons? Not a coincidence. Big Lemon has been pulling strings in the industry for years. Think about it. But now, 7up is fighting back with their new lime lemon soda. Now lime comes first. 7up. Flip the sip. I want to date with Rawls, Carty says. Rawls? Rucka asks. This is the love story of real hinge couple Carty and Rucka. Written and read by me, Nicola Dynan. Listen to the free audiobook now.

35:48Right, I've got one here from Jennifer. What is your best, brackets, disastrous, slash hilarious, bad date story? Either with each other or with an ex. I'll lead on this one so I once took a took a girl away to Dubai hadn't been hadn't been going over very long this is me got a holiday you're talking about me yeah took her on a holiday and I've talked loads of people to Dubai mate loads of people I'm a jet setter I'm a rock star yeah

36:19Rosie Ramsey:you're a slag I tell you

36:28I thought we were having a lovely time lay around the pool all day and you know just chilled and that and you know I kept saying things like it's so hot I don't really get hungry during the day and she was like yeah I'm exactly the same like retrospectively months later when she moved in with us into my bungalow and brought all her shite with her she let me know that she actually had had a horrible time because she spent the whole day starving hungry but hadn't told me because you were worried because I was paying for everything. Yeah. You nutter. False advertising for a start, right? Little did I know I was living with a gannet who's never full, right?

37:04Who will raid me cupboards. I can't even have a Twix in the house without you sniffing it out, right?

37:08Rosie Ramsey:That was a horrible holiday. You ate half a packet of biscuits last night that you actually said before eating I don't like them biscuits. I had three of them. There were six in the packet. All right.

37:22Rosie Ramsey:Fair enough. Math teacher. It wasn't a disaster, but I felt really bad afterwards that you just hadn't said that. You should have just said you were hungry. I know, but right, okay. You were paying for everything. We'd only been together six months, right? Not less than that. It was six weeks. No, it wasn't. I'm telling you. We got engaged after six months, mate. Oh, right, okay. Well, it was about three months or something, right? Probably less than that. There'd be no ways or anything in front of each other. Nothing like that. It was very new. I like to call that the golden days. It was the great days.

37:53The great old days.

37:54Rosie Ramsey:But you were paying for everything. It was very expensive. Like crazy expensive. A salad or something around the pool was like 25 quid. It was mental, right? Yeah, it was horrible. I couldn't believe it. I was working. What was I doing at the time? I think I was gigging solo. I was skint, basically. And yeah, so in the morning, we'd get like a croissant and a juice, which was lovely. Like one of a French prison? No, buddy, no. But it was just like a little breakfast. And that was nice. But then come about half nine, I was starving. But you were one of them people. We got up at nine. You're one of them people when you're on holiday and it's sun, you're like, oh, I just don't get hungry.

38:35Rosie Ramsey:I'm just not hungry at all. And I was like, neither am I. I lost weight on that holiday. I lost three pounds. You're welcome. Wow. Eh? Oh, it was. and then do you remember when the sun was going down at like five because it was February or something it was like five o 'clock and you were like fancy gin and tonic I was like I will be leathered eating the lime I was like excuse me waitress what comes with fruit what cocktail to do with fruit in I feel really bad you know I felt really bad about that afterwards well don't feel bad but I was honestly wasting away I don't feel too bad I'll be honest you're making up for it now mate very funny i've i've got a bad date story oh come on then so you know i think you know this okay once went on a date with a guy who played in a band he was a guitarist in a band we were on a pub in the night out and he was like you know in the band and me and my friends like oh and i was single and blood body asked me out on a date and i was like right okay i will i think he knew a few people who i knew as well okay went on a date chatting it was a daytime date during the day we'd been on the date for about an hour and we're chatting about what we do and all this kind of stuff and he was like oh yeah um i should probably tell you this he's like please don't judge but i've just started a new career in the line of work whatever and i was like all right okay we're not not in the guitar and what are you doing um porn what he was oh my god he was he was that is a first day of clangor, innit?

40:07Rosie Ramsey:He was in porn. Wow. And I was like, oh, this is horrible. I love that. Don't judge, I'm in porn. This is horrible. How did that not judging work out for you? Oh, it was just awful. Told me all about it. Then went and Googled it. Shit. After. Saw like the pictures but you had to pay for it and I was like, I don't know how this works. So, I didn't end up getting it. 25 quid subscription trying to get a salad in Dubai for that.

40:42Rosie Ramsey:I didn't have anyone to ask either. I was like, I don't know. How do I ask someone? Can I watch this specific Geordie porn as well? Geordie porn. It was all Geordie people. The classiest of porn. Yeah. I can't remember what it was called. It had an X in it. Anyway. So, a week later. Schlong on the time.

41:06Rosie Ramsey:well done

41:10Rosie Ramsey:I can't think of anything

41:14Rosie Ramsey:I really want to think of one angel of the bum hole there you go no no you can't just it's gotta be half a rhyme you can't just take a thing listen I'm scarred I was on a date with him you can't say angel of the bum hole that's like time bridge arse you can't I mean that's a that's a dating story and a half that's like that's probably a storyline on sex in the city to be fair I know yeah Joe's even worse I did kiss him you did kiss him I did I wonder how many other people you kissed by proxy oh no have you have you been at work oh god

42:03Right, Chris and Rosie, tomato ketchup. Do you put it in the fridge or do you put it in a cupboard? Believe it or not, for a little first episode of a two-bit podcast recorded from a living room, that was genuinely Ed Sheeran, wasn't it? Ed Sheeran. Ed Sheeran sent me the question. And he loves ketchup, doesn't he?

42:19Rosie Ramsey:He's got a ketchup tattoo, hasn't he? Ketchup, fridge or cupboard? Fridge. We have ours in the fridge. But I've got people who come round sometimes and have chips. so that sounds like I've just got a secret chip society that I do on a Wednesday four of them we'll come round when people sometimes will go you got any ketchup and I get out the fridge they are like visibly furious it's weird though actually because I grew up in a cupboard that must have been hard no wonder your posture's not great

42:53Rosie Ramsey:you were very chubby I couldn't believe I nearly didn't get my words out because I couldn't believe you'd say it. I couldn't think of the next thing, so I grew up in a cupboard ketchup house. Yeah, a cupboard house. Oh, my God. Hello, Rosie and Chris. It's Jason Manford. Hope you're well. So my questions are, which one of you is the favourite parent? Who owns the remote control? And who is the grumpiest in the morning? All right, best of luck. Ooh, three questions in one. Thank you, Jason. You know what it is with Jason Manfred? You get value for money with Jason Manfred, I'll tell you that. What a guy.

43:31Asked him for one question. He sends in three.

43:33Rosie Ramsey:He's brilliant. Unbelievable. Love him. Right, let's do them quickly then. Who's your favourite parent? I'll let you answer this, Rosie. Well, I think in love, in love and depth, me, for play and just a bit of fun, probably you. Oh, brilliant. That made me sound so cheap. No, but if he wanted to play with these robots, he'd shout for you. If he broke his leg, he'd probably shout for me. Right, okay. How many times this week has he played with these robots? A lot, why? How many times has he broke his leg? Oh. It's not very nice. Me, Mr Manfred, it's me. I'm the favourite at the moment. Because I was away a lot last year, and at the minute I'm the favourite, because he's...

44:13Rosie Ramsey:Fickle. He's fickle. That's what he is. He's fickle as out. It went from going, I'm the favourite, to slagging him off. To slagging your own son off because I'm the favourite at the minute. I've put three years of solid graft into that kid. I was a full-time mother until I got this job. Still labouring on the fact that podcasting's your only job. And we do it once a week for an hour. That takes part time to another level. Right. Who owns the remote? 100 % you own the remote I'd have to agree It's crazy how much you own the remote The Skybox The recordings on there is stuff for Robin Stuff for you I have nothing on the Skybox I sat down the idea, I thought I'll just watch a bit of telly There wasn't anything on the telly There's nothing there Then I'm sorry, little old Fondaroy Record some ink I never get a chance And do you know what it is?

45:12I did this on my Instagram the idea the only stuff you watch is Housewives of wherever. Housewives of Minnesota. It's not one. It's not one. Minnesota.

45:21Rosie Ramsey:No. Atlanta. Yeah. Yeah. Orange County. Yeah. New York. Yeah. Manchester. No. What's it called? Chester. Cheshire. One of them. Cheshire. That's the one. It's horrible. It's just, all you do, you sit down with the coffee or whatever, you turn it on, and it's just people arguing. It's wonderful. It's non-stop. I mean, we have a little friendly debate. It's people screaming at each other. I know, but they've got nice houses as well. So you just look at the houses? Yes. Really? Yeah. Well, I can't argue with that. And the clothes. I just like to look at them. And a lot of the time... Watch it on mute.

45:54Rosie Ramsey:Where's the fun in that? Well, I think I've just found a hole in the lie. Oh, well, I'll tell you what. When you're playing on your PlayStation or whatever, Game Boy, Nintendo, X6, 7, 5, 9... Are you all right? Watch it on mute next time, eh? I didn't say it. I just like looking at it. You just said you don't... So you're inviting each other to each other's blimmin... It's always an event. One of them's always a walk in the room and they're always hosting an event. Yeah, because it would be... You didn't come to my event. You didn't come to my event. Event. It'd be pretty boring if they were all just sat around playing with the Bairns and Lego, wouldn't it?

46:26I'd watch that. I'd watch that. Final one.

46:30Rosie Ramsey:Who's the grumpiest in the morning? You. Do you think? Yes. Yeah? Absolutely. I think I am the grumpiest, especially with Robin. and I think I'm more likely to tell him off in the morning than you are. Oh, yeah, you're horrible to him. Yeah, you wake up and you're like, Hi, my darling son, what will the day have in store for us? I'm like, stop shouting, man. Because, I think that's because I, as a lady, when you have a child, you, from being about four months pregnant, your body just wakes up all the time in the middle of the night to get you ready for sleepless nights. I don't know, it's like nature's way or whatever.

47:08Rosie Ramsey:You just need a wee, or you're just awake, having nightmares. It's something that happens. And then, from then on, you're doing the night feeds. And don't get me wrong, I know men help and stuff, but it's just, I think we just get, we just get better at doing it. I'm just used to it now. Seven o 'clock is like a lion. If it's got seven in the title, it's the best. Yeah. I just love it more than you, so. Well, it loves me more than you at the minute, so. Great, thanks. So yeah, this has ended on a pretty sour, I know it. I might give that lad a ring. He's not busy. I've downloaded some of these videos for you.

47:49Rosie Ramsey:Northern Nashers! Noshers? Northern nipples. But what's that a pun on? Poops? Yeah, but what's the pun? I don't know. What do you mean? Well, like, schlong on the time was fog on the time.

48:08Do you not understand how a pun works? Come on. I want a porn sex pun based on a northern thing. Get off your laptop. Don't Google it. She was going to Google it. I wasn't. Come on.

48:25Rosie Ramsey:Hang on. Jimmy nailed. Great. That's it. Yes. Hey, thanks for listening, guys.

48:38Rosie Ramsey:Oh, God. Oh, God, it is. It's catching me breath. They're two crazy kids. They were funny back in the day. I wonder what them two are up to now. They'll not be doing that still. You kind of keep doing that. I bet you they sounded so much happier. No, we're happier now. Yeah, no, it's different. Were you happier then or now? I don't know. I didn't listen to it. Now listen. We hope you enjoyed episode one of the best of breast of breast of stop it tippy mad Freudian of the bumper summer best of there'll be another one coming at you at some point over the summer again it might be next week I can't remember surprise thanks guys bye bye
