In short
Sky Sports Premier League podcast reacts to Manchester United 1-2 Leeds United at Old Trafford, a huge relegation-survival win for Leeds, plus debate over controversial refereeing (a denied foul/goal incident and a hair-pull red card for Lissandro Martínez) and what it means for both clubs’ next fixtures.
Guest backgrounds
The episode features studio pundits Roy Keane and Jamie Carragher, and interviews with Leeds players Noah Okafor and Dominic Calvert-Lewin, plus managers Michael Carrick (Man United) and Daniel Farke (Leeds).
Key claims
Leeds’ aggressive, confident first half “bossed” United; the win moves Leeds six points clear of the relegation zone. United’s slow start and lack of midfield energy hurt them, and Carrick calls the red card “one of the worst” decisions.
Notable examples
Okafor’s two goals (including early strikes in the first five minutes); United’s Casemiro header after the red card; Leeds clearing off the line to prevent an equaliser; Leeds’ first league win at Old Trafford since 1981.

0:24Winds don't come much bigger than this for Leeds United. Daniel Farker celebrates as the club wins at Old Trafford in the league for the first time in a long, long, long time. And just as important, in fact more important, are three points that takes them further away from trouble. Okafor, the man with the two goals Manchester United going down to ten in the second half Let's go, Foxy! Pulling one back, but Leeds held on in the end What a win for Leeds United over their great rivals And Gary, a word on Leeds and Manchester United It's a monumental night for Leeds United He'll have been nervous about the fact that Leeds United were going perilously close to relegation but I think this victory I think goes a long way to securing Premier League survival status this season for Michael Carrickwell a really disappointing night the most disappointing since he took over in the job and they're going to have to recover quickly for Chelsea on Saturday because they never got going but for him, Opafor, what a night and Leeds United fully deserved it over the course of the 90 minutes they were the better team.
1:51The damage for Manchester United is the opponents they faced, but as far as their quest, not too much damage considering other results, but it will still hurt them. But for Leeds United, a result they will cheer and one that their relegation rivals certainly won't. Final score at Old Trafford, Manchester United 1, Leeds United 2. What a night for Leeds United and that young man And two goals, a little bit of colourful language. I think we can forgive him now on a night of huge passion and huge emotion for his football club because those two goals, that victory, might well have just taken a big leap towards Leeds United staying in the Premier League.
2:36Roy Keane, what a performance from Leeds. Yeah, yeah, wonders are fantastic. Obviously, United reacted well after the sending-off, but Leeds to go and beat Man United is the first time since 1981. 1981, 45 years. And also with the battle, of course, for relegation, huge result. We saw the manager at the end go on his knees and he's usually on top of his emotions. You can see what it means to him. Huge result and, you know, they deserve. We said before the game, Jamie, four games without a goal in the Premier League. There was no sign of that from the kick-off. No, it wasn't. They were absolutely fantastic.
3:08And, you know, for the majority of this season, they've been a breath of fresh air in the Premier League. They've been absolutely fantastic. We had the first game of the season on Monday Night Football against Everton. some of the football they played that night was excellent but how they performed in that first half i think will send a shiver down the spines of everybody in that relegation fight because they didn't just hang on in a game like that they absolutely bossed manchester united in that first half as i said that man was at the heart of it i thought he was fantastic him and tanaka in midfield but that man is the match winner incredible to think with that level of performance that is just Leeds second away win of this season.
3:45The first being at Wolves, who they play at home on Sunday. And then they've got Burnley still to come to Elland Road as well. And that is why those smiles are so wide. Because they must be thinking they are almost there. But of course, the job is not quite done just yet. Where does this leave Manchester United, though, Roy, after that? A bit disappointed. Obviously, they've had a lot of momentum over the last few months. A lot of praise for the manager. there's been obviously concern going into the games they haven't played for a number of weeks but the manager character said that shouldn't be a problem they've been training properly again, they've had a training camp but it's the way they started the game you start the game that slowly, it's hard to recover and you know what they didn't do in the first half and what are you going to do in this game?
4:25We saw Man City doing it particularly yesterday in the second half you've got to run, they weren't sprinting United and a little bit at the end, too little too late and it's a big setback run but midfield, non-existent particularly in the first half no energy, no quality Leeds were over the blocks quickly and yeah, fantastic result for Leeds These are moments to savour on a night those Leeds fans who are there are not going to forget in a hurry fantastic performance their team have delivered when they needed it most
4:59I don't think this is stopping any time soon Team effort, here we go
5:13Brilliant. Six points clear of Spurs in those relegation places now. And Spurs, one of the sides they still have left to play as well. There they are still in 15th, but six points mean so much to them with those two games to come at home against the bottom two. So Leeds fans are starting to believe it could be a very special end to the season for them. And for Manchester United, the chance to go 10 points clear of Chelsea, who they now play on Saturday night. And they do so without Alessandro Martinez. They may do so without Harry Maguire as well. We're yet to hear about that. But that could be down to four points, Roy.
5:59Yeah, the whole team's changed quickly. Obviously before the game it was all positive and now all of a sudden you look at Villa, Liverpool, Chelsea and yeah, it'll give them a lot of encouragement. But it was just the way they started the game. I think that was a big disappointment tonight. You start that slowly in a big game. It was a good atmosphere before the game. A lot of positivity. Leeds are in town. Obviously their fans will be looking forward to the great atmosphere and they never got going. And when you start playing, when you're 2-0 down, too little too late. Yep, too late for Manchester United tonight.
6:28and well the excitement starts again next Saturday with Spurs facing just a huge game against the Premier League's form side. Five wins out of six for Brighton as they head to take on their former manager Roberto Di Zerbi. Five o 'clock on Saturday night for that one. And then we have another huge Sunday coming your way with the Merseyside derby at Hill Dickinson for the first time kicking off at two o 'clock. Build up 12.30 to all these games. Villa, Sunderland as well, and that result will give Villa a lift in their fight for Champions League football next season. And Forrest won't have enjoyed that too much, I don't think.
7:06They take on Burnley next on Sunday, before the top two meet at the Etihad, Manchester City and Arsenal, 4.30. So West Ham it was who got the chance to go first this weekend. but next weekend they sit back and see what everyone does before they take to the pitch again in a London derby at Selhurst Park. That's next Monday, 6.30.
7:38Vogel digs out the cross, Calvert-Lewin goes up, on the ball! Leeds United at the Stratford end again! Leeds United, you've got to try and capitalise her on this right now and get two in front. Because you've got to believe that... Okafor! He's done it again! Same end, same result. 2-0 to Leeds United and Old Trafford. Fernandes to send it back in again. Lovely shot. Casemiro! Another goal this season for Casemiro. Night of the season, surely for Leeds United. their second away win had Daniel Farker on his knees. He knows just how important those three points are in there. Quest for survival. It's moved them six points clear of 18th place Spurs tonight.
8:40Brilliant performance from Leeds United. Aggressive, confident from the off. Manchester United actually won the shot count in the end, 20-15. 11 of their 20 shots actually came in the final third of the game after they had been reduced to 10 with the red card for Lissandro Martinez. That expected goals count of 2.374 visitors, leads the highest by any visiting side at Old Trafford for over a year. The important statistic, those two goals from Noah Okafor and also important clearances at the end from Dominic Calvert-Lewin, both of those players now with Pien Mullins Seath. Congratulations both of you, it's a win that takes you six points clear of the relegation zone, how does that feel?
9:26Yeah, it's a massive result for us, we knew that coming into the game, we came here to win, that's how we set up and we executed the game plan and obviously come away with three points so we're delighted. We spoke before the game that Leeds hadn't scored in a couple of Premier League games, it didn't look like that at all, less than five minutes in and you're on the score sheet? Yeah, I think that I can score and help the team for this. I'm really happy and proud, but in the end I have to say to everyone, to every player, to every staff that are with us, a big compliment. We were fighting till the end and in the end they deserved three points.
10:01Talk to us about the second goal as well. How did you see it? It was really well hit, but also the confidence that gave the team. Yeah, I think I hit it well. I try because when you don't try, the ball can't go in. So I try, I scare my second goal. So I'm really happy about that. And this brings us even more to the game. And in the end, we knew we had to defend as a team. We did it well. So really, really excited and happy. There were two very big moments that you were involved in. The first one, of course, the sending off from Lissandro Martinez. You were involved in that. How did you see it?
10:33Did you expect there to be a red card for him? I don't know. I don't meet the rules at the end of the day. I felt my hair get pulled and obviously told the ref. and he's the one that makes the decisions at the end of the day. So, yeah, unfortunate for him, whether he's meant it or not. You know, I don't hold no grudges, but it is what it is, isn't it? There was another big moment because you stopped, ultimately, Manchester United getting an equaliser right on the line. How did you see that? Yeah, I was just in the moment, you know, just switched on and just engaged and waiting for the ball to come in and just doing my job.
11:02And thankfully, I was there this time to, well, it's two of them, wasn't it? To clear the ball off the line and, you know, arguably make up for the ones that I should have put away on the other end. When you're looking at how you manage this game as well, you saw Manchester United getting a goal back through Casemiro, but you managed to hold out to get three important points. Is this the kind of performance, the kind of mindset that you need to take you through the rest of these games? Yeah, I think, of course, we knew the goal was not at the right moment. So we knew we had another 20, 30 minutes to survive, to make sure that we as a team, defend as a team and attacking as a team.
11:38So, yeah, in the end, we take this and we're looking forward to the next games. It's going to be a tricky couple of weeks, really important few games to come as well, but surely a game like this, a performance like this, has to give you so much confidence. Yeah, it does, and I think it's important we don't read too much into the external noise and we continue to focus on what's in front of us. It's easy to come here and make history and all this, that and the other, but it doesn't matter come the end of the season when the points tallies are in. So that's all we're focused on and just one game after another, one game after another and making sure that we stay in the Premier League.
12:14Well, you've got the trophy in your hands. If you'll do the honours, please, to award the player of the match. Well deserved, brother.
12:22Yeah, well done to them. Could actually be an amazing season for Leeds if they do stay up. They've got their first FA Cup semi-final since 1987 to look forward to against Chelsea as well. Dominic Calvert-Lewin might have scored as early as the third minute. Noah Okafor did after five minutes, Jamie. And you have to say, at that moment, Manchester United just looked stunned. They did. And listen, we know Leeds came into the game. That's just when they played 5-4-1. But actually in the build-up, we can see it's almost like a back four in this one. Players just getting in between positions and lines.
12:54That obviously difficult for Manchester United to pick up. But I just felt some of the football from Leeds in that first half is absolutely outstanding. And I think that would worry the teams near the bottom as much as the result. that was a confident performance coming to right now the most informed team at all in the Premier League and when you were looking at it in that first half it felt like Leeds with the team who were in the Champions League positions and Manchester United with the team fighting relegation that's how big the contrast was and it didn't flatter them at all and that goal just sums them up really they go from one end of the pitch with the goalkeeper and Jorna was the only man to touch it slight touch on the head and then they finish it brilliantly it was a really good instinctive finish as well wasn't it from Noah Okafor and perhaps that Roy gave him the confidence to try his luck Yeah of course and then obviously United causing their own problems here trying to be too smart at the back obviously Leeds are going to be hunting them down not quite getting their clearances properly and again Leeds getting bodies in the box obviously delighted with the start of that and then if you don't shoot you don't score good connection poor defender people can say it's unlucky but he's got to defend better than that but to go 2-0 up and the way they started the game getting bodies forward, forward passing and I said before the game they wouldn't be coming in the park to Bus Leeds, they do turn up and have a go at United and they've got the rewards for it.
14:07They absolutely did. Lomond's beaten here with that deflection as well, which took it beyond him and there was no way back from there for Manchester United. Let's hear from Daniel Farker, sunk to his knees at the full-time whistle. Here he is with Pien Mollinstein. Daniel, congratulations. It's a really big victory. First of all, how do you feel after that performance? Tired, relieved, but also proud of the boys. I think fantastic performance. We're heading into the crunch time period of the season. And it's important to keep the nerves and to stick to your plan. I think fantastic first half should be higher up than just to null.
14:45If I'm honest, missed also many, many chances. Also a good start into the second half. Then sometimes the red card can change something. I didn't have the feeling at all, but we're a bit sleepy in one set piece situation. But then, of course, it's more or less like it's still Man United away. It's also difficult to bring it over the line as a newly promoted side. But to be there with the first win, I think in our whole history on Premier League level, first win here since, whatever, 40 years, is amazing. And of course, a big step forward. We spoke before the game as well about the lack of goals in the last couple of Premier League games.
15:16Within five minutes, already on the score sheet, how much did that please you about the way that your team approached the game today? Yes, very happy for the boys because goals are always important for the momentum in the game, but also a sign of why we should be performance-wise in a much better position also today. It could have been way more effective, should have used our chances even better than to bury the game before. And on the other side, it's a team packed with top-class players and they could bring quality from the bench in. And if you don't bury the game, it's always something possible, especially for the home team, Man United.
15:51And this is also why we have to stay humble. We are not perfect. We are sometimes there also with a mistake. We are not the finished end product, but we are on a good pass. Also on the way to achieve something really, really positive during the season. You mentioned there was a slightly different second half. Of course, there was a red card sending off from Martinez. What did you make of that decision? Yes, I have not watched the scene back. I was just told that it was a hair pull and for that a red card. I guess once the VAR has watched on it and said, OK, you have to break the game and then the referee goes out and watches back.
16:25and it was probably a red card, but I haven't seen the scene anymore. I was a bit worried because we had such a good momentum. Sometimes such a situation can change a bit of momentum. I would have preferred more or less to play for the 11 versus 11, but it is how it is. In the end, we won the game and I don't complain. How do you see the way that your team had managed that second half, managed to keep hold of those three very vital points despite what happened? I would say 95 % really, really good. of course the situation with the goal in overload you shouldn't concede then out of second phase in the set piece on the far post and under load we are over shifted, we're not aware enough so there was a small mistake also in the final minutes we could have killed the game with a bit more possession come the game more down there were good periods but it was not perfect overall I'm pleased and I know the leds were also nervous, it was not the easiest week we had several players also out and just in training for two days I was happy that we could find a solution without Anton Stach, without Joe Roden today.
17:31So big, big compliment to the whole group. We were not immaculate today, but overall really good. So six points clear at the relegation zone. Still a handful of weeks to go, but that puts you in a really good position. And does that give the team the confidence required for these next couple of weeks? Yes, confidence. Definitely a win is always good for the mood, for the confidence, also for the table. but the reality is also like performance-wise we should be only with far more than 40 points and I think this team has performed over the whole season with unbelievable consistency but we can be more effective in both boxes and for that the reality is we are on 36 points, a few more points are needed but of course we edge tonight three points closer, an important step but nothing is achieved yet, we have to stay humble, we have to stay grounded, we have to stay hungry and need to make sure that we're also on it in the upcoming games and win as many points as possible.
18:23congratulations today. Best of luck for the rest of the season. Thank you. Thanks a lot. Cheers. Nice to see you. And it's not just tonight. Four defeats in the last 23 matches for Leeds United. And perhaps he deserves a little bit of praise as well this evening, Roy. Yeah, he was under huge pressure. Even there was talk about him changing in the summer and then when they had a kind of sticky patch over the season, there was talk about him leaving. But he's proven to be a brilliant manager. Obviously, the win tonight, even getting to a cup semi-final. They've got a bit of momentum now. And the way they played tonight, they played with a lot of confidence and belief.
18:52and we saw his reaction at the end of the game. He's quite a kind of calm guy, but he'd be fairly pleased. I think he was, I think that's fair to say. And there they are, still in 15th, but with a six-point gap on the bottom three and Spurs. How do you see it now, Jamie? Yeah, listen, what I said before, listen, those teams down there, they'll be watching tonight, the supporters, the players, the staff, and that'll be a big blow for them, psychologically. You know, you think that's a game Leeds should probably lose today they'd be looking at the home fixtures and saying okay probably looking at maybe getting four points at least maybe from those two home games but you factor in could they lose at Old Trafford to win?
19:31Wolves are sitting there thinking we've been just entirely disrespectful about them all night because we're saying it's almost a given they're going to get something in that game I think almost everyone's a little disrespectful of Wolves because they're near the bottom, actually I think Wolves have been a really tough proposition for a lot of teams in these last few months, you think of sort of what they did to Arsenal, what they did to Liverpool, what they did to Aston Villa, obviously this is different, they're going away to Leeds, but it's certainly a game, if Leeds play well, they've got a great chance of winning, it's not being disrespectful to them, unfortunately that comes with the fact that Wolves are bottom of the league and they're saying we're barely, but the thing for me was the performance, that wasn't the performance of a really poor team, that was a performance of a really good team.
20:07Well he says that's been the level all season, they deserve more, do you agree? Yeah listen, I think most managers always say they deserve more, it'll sort itself out at the end of the season. But when you're going back to Tottenham, Tottenham are the big story down at the bottom. Let's not forget that. There's obviously a relegation fight every season. To see Tottenham there, you can't quite believe it. We have not seen a Tottenham performance like that in about six months. Hello, Andy Scott here, host of the Sky Sports Toe-to-Toe podcast. Alongside a host of top guests, we're here every Tuesday bringing you the very latest boxing news.
20:40And we go toe-to-toe with the biggest names in the sport. So, if you love boxing, join me on Toe to Toe, wherever you listen to your podcasts. That's Toe to Toe, a Sky Sports podcast.
20:58Welcome back to the Sky Sports Premier League podcast. Let's get back to the studio for more reaction to today's game. Well, they didn't see this script, did they, coming? Manchester United, actually the seventh home game in charge of Manchester United across two spells for Michael Carrick. And the first time he has not been on the winning team. His side beaten this evening. They say third in the table, but they miss the chance to go ten points clear of Chelsea, who they play next, lose that game. And that gap, that particular gap, will be down to just four points. Let's hear from Michael Carrick now with P.
21:39Mullinsy. Michael, first of all, what did you make of the team's performance today? We didn't start the game particularly well. We obviously conceded, which Lenny Oro gets a forearm smash in the back of his head and then they score the first goal, so we didn't decide to overturn that decision. So that was a big moment in the game. We didn't quite have the rhythm, we didn't click, we had some moments, but it wasn't quite there for a large part of the first half. and then second half before the boys, the way they went around, stayed positive and fought for everything and tried to get something out of the game after another shocking, shocking decision to send Lietjev off.
22:22Two games in a row we've had decisions like that go against us, but that one, I have to say, was one of the worst I've seen. Have you sought an explanation from the referee? You clearly don't think it's a red card. So you can elbow Lenny Oro for the first goal in the side of the head, leaning arm obviously and then you can throw your arm in Leach's face and then as he's off balance because of that and he's half grappling he kind of half touches the back of his ear which then pulls the bobble out which then leads to look like I don't even know what it looks like it's not a pull, it's not a tug, it's not aggressive he touches it and he gets sent off and worst of all he was actually sent to overturn it clear and obvious error it's shocking When you're looking at the difference between that first half and the second half obviously the sending off goes against you you're down to 10 men but it seemed like there felt more energy there was chances you get the goal back perhaps almost an equaliser right at the end as well what change do you think in that sense?
23:20The boys went for it it's football you know sometimes you don't have good spells in games and other times you do we know we can be better and we can do things better we'll obviously look at that but the way this boys second half could have got something out of the game and I'm pleased the way we went into that. We spoke with half-time about getting the next goal and trying to go on and win it and it was obviously more difficult when you've got a man down. People will question whether this 24-day break may have had an impact. Did you feel like it did? It doesn't really make any difference, to be honest.
23:56Going forward, busy couple of weeks now, important few weeks as well. What do you take from a game like this to work on in the next couple of games now? This is one game. All right, so we'll certainly look at it and we'll look to improve. We've got another big game, an important game next week and a big end to the season. We're in a really good position, you know, so tonight's disappointing. We obviously didn't want to lose at home and we didn't want the referees' decisions to be so bad against us, but we've got to move on and we've got a big end to the season, so there's a lot to be positive about.
24:29Michael, thank you for your time. Thanks a lot. Thanks very much. See you soon. Will he have learnt as much or maybe even more from that game in a defeat than he has some of the victories? Yeah, he's obviously frustrated there with some of the refereeing decisions but you have to suck it up as well obviously when you start the game so slowly again, we give credit to Leeds but United never got going and yeah, he'll always be learning about this group you know, he's still only been in the job a few months and of course you're going to have your ups and downs and it's been all applauded so far for him so this is a big setback and I still think there's no problem for United getting to Chapman's league but they don't want to finish the season badly either.
25:06They don't want to finish on a high and obviously trying to keep that run going. So he'll be tonight, especially against Leeds, the way they performed, I think it's a big setback for him. Forearm smash, he described, the incident leading up to the first goal here from Calvert-Lewin on Lenny Yorreau. Jamie? No, listen, I always think every challenge looks worse in slow motion. but for me, no. I think when that ball comes in, you're always going backwards, Calvert-Lewin's coming onto the ball and he's a handful, Calvert-Lewin, and when you get up, you need that leverage with your arms as well. So for me, I wouldn't be expecting a foul there.

25:44And then on the red card, he said again that Calvert-Lewin had thrown his arm into the face of Lissandro Martinez, who was then struggling for balance and grabbed what he could, was effectively what Michael Carrick was saying. and it wasn't given on the field by Paul Tierney, but John Brooks in VAR spotted something amiss and intervened and sent Paul Tierney off to the screen. Michael Carrick said it was a shocking decision, one of the worst that I've ever seen. The handbook which the referees go by, Roy, says that a red card, if it's clearly pulling the hair of an opponent with force, and that's the question there, do you see force obviously I can try and see it from both sides we're looking at the laws of the game here and when you class this as violent conduct as ex-players that seems really harsh but we've seen other players was it Keane got sent off for Everton yeah that was really harsh Keane got sent off so it is harsh but if we're looking at the laws of the game and if that's what it's been seen by VAR obviously then shown to the referee then you have to accept it you're obviously not going to agree with it you're going to as Carrick is he's disappointed with it but we've seen it happen before the season.
27:01What do you think, Jamie? I go back a couple of years. I mean, I hope I've got this right, but I think it was Cucurella had something from a corner or a set piece. Was it Romero? Yeah. And it almost, I don't think anything happened to Romero because I almost felt like the officials didn't quite know what to do. I think, I don't know if he got a yellow card, but he certainly didn't get sent off. I almost felt from that period, it was like, hang on, if this happens, this is a red card. And that for me is 100 % right. if someone really pulls someone here like that. I think we've saw a situation with there.
27:31Is it Gusto as well? Someone got sent off, I think, pulling Gusto's here maybe a year or so ago. So everybody knows almost what the rule is now, pulling someone's here. But I thought that Michael Keane on this season was not a red card. And I actually think that was softer. And he's going for the ball. Calvert-Lewin hasn't done nothing wrong. He's putting his arm out again. And he's almost just grappling. And he's just trying to grab onto something. you know he's just caught the back of his head it could have been his shirt, it could have been anything and he's literally got it I think for about half a second the back of his hair bun and what Roy said David we've just looked at the real, a hair pulls a red card and we all agree with that certainly the guidance but Howard Wever who we speak to probably two or three times a season comes up with a line on certain situations that I actually like sometimes it's not about just the rule book it's actually what does the game want I don't think any football fan I don't think anybody any football manager any player watching that at home is sitting there thinking yeah I think that's a red card I think everybody in the game is looking at that and thinking oh come on that is not a red card behave yourself because we're looking at a strike in the centre half having a battle as well with each other and we liked that part of the game obviously technical stuff was brilliant but when they're having a good old battle you're thinking yeah just get on with it that's what it seemed like today between the two players and it just seems a bit harsh, to be fair.
28:55OK. What about how Manchester United responded after they went down to 10? Well, they responded well. It was actually a better period. Yeah, they were. And to be fair, I think it affected Leeds more than, obviously, the United. Leeds didn't seem to know what to do, stick or twist. And obviously, United, you know, Bruno putting good quality and Casemiro. Wow, what a great header that is. In terms of when he attacks the ball. Eighth Premier League goal of the season. Absolutely. Even his movement here. Yeah, and Bruno, great delivery, of course. But even Casemiro, it's not easy. But he does see it all the way.
29:28But, wow, fantastic header. He always seems to... The ball always seems to find him, doesn't he? That's a really good habit, isn't it? Yeah. But he finishes as well. It's not as if he's getting headers. He does finish a lot of the time. And then Bruno's getting deeper and he's spraying the balls left, right and centre. And you're thinking, United, as you'd expect, United have nothing to lose. They're going to have a go. And a couple of saves in Calvert-Lewin. They're getting blocks. Leeds, of course, fighting for their lives. you're thinking this is going to finish 2-2 and again Leeds are fighting for their lives and had to dig in Listen Manchester United have always done this and always will no matter what the situation if they're attacking the Stratford end in that second half teams just get dragged deeper and deeper I've been there myself as a player listen the fantastic era and even when it was And you want this from your centre forward as well don't you Jamie when you're fighting for your life Brilliant day I think he mentioned on his interview as well he's probably disappointed with a couple of chances and he said I almost repaid the team back for that but listen he's been brilliant for Leeds this season and he plays a big part in both boxers area as well.
30:25And do you think, Roy, there'll be an element of, you know, the decision makers, Manchester United, we've talked about it a lot in terms of Michael Carrick's situation, we'll be sitting there thinking, OK, let's see how he responds to this and handles this. Of course, that's got to be the reaction. For any team, when you have a setback is next week going to Chelsea. Obviously, we saw Man City rip Chelsea apart in the second half yesterday, but it'll be a tough game for United going to Chelsea next week and you don't want to have them doubts beginning from the ownership of her thinking, we think Carrick's the man.
30:53Because just say, for example, if they do start slipping up in the next few weeks, you know, they'll be thinking twice, I think, about giving them their job. Only natural.
