I may not be responsible for keeping her alive, but I am responsible for being her favorite and gifting her amazing pajamas. And here's the thing. If there's anything I know about Miss Mo and other babies in general, if they're uncomfortable, they will let you know. And that's why I and my sister and Miss Mo are obsessed with little sleepies. First, the fabric. It's so soft, I literally want to wear it myself. They're also designed with thoughtful little details that make getting dressed easier instead of a full contact sport.
0:35Sofia Franklyn:You're welcome, Audrey. Also, their pieces grow with your kid, which is huge. Because every time I see Miss Mo, she's somehow a completely different size? Little sleepies actually last, so you're not replacing everything every five minutes. Which, as someone who buys the cute stuff, I deeply appreciate. If you're expecting or dressing little ones, check out Little Sleepies. You can visit littlesleepies.com and use promo code goodnight for 10 % off your first order.

3:04Colton Underwood:Hey everybody. Welcome back to snark bait. I'm Sophie.
3:07Sofia Franklyn:I'm Christy. How are you doing Sophie.
3:09Colton Underwood:Good. I love how it so we just recorded a couple ads. And for every ad, we use like a different zoom link. So we hop in one and then we jump to the other and Christy was in a different shirt for every single ad that we just recorded. And when I tell you that there may be two seconds between hopping into the next zoom link, I don't understand what just happened with your shirt situation.
3:35Sofia Franklyn:Okay, you guys, I am not on my normal setup. If you guys see us on video or on reels at Snarkbait Pod, I'm in Houston and I bought, I brought very limited clothing. And first of all, this should be my dark energy object. I'm skipping a bit ahead, but I hate wearing plain clothes. We talk about this all the time. Like plain clothes are for the plane. Do not bring them in. Oh my God.
3:54Colton Underwood:No, they go straight into like the dirty pile when you land.
3:57Sofia Franklyn:Exactly.
3:58Colton Underwood:Yeah.
3:58Sofia Franklyn:So I wasn't smart enough to bring like a sweatshirt and it's kind of cold in this hotel room. So I was like, okay I'll wear the sweatshirt that I wore on the plane but then I was like well first when I started facetiming you I was like oh I'm wearing my sleep shirt like I had I didn't even realize the change so I went into the plane the plane sweatshirt and last night my best friend Michelle picked me and my other best friend up Angie from the airport and we got pho and it smelled like pho and I was grossed out so then I took it off and then I hurried and buttoned up it's not even button Sophie like but you guys only see it's party on the top it's literally half of it is no not button uh so it was like chaotic and sophie was like oh again hashtag hydrogate which be totally dealt
4:40Colton Underwood:with and it's totally fine now yeah you guys thank you for all the suggestions about hydrogate by the way thank you so much we figured the merch company was very very very kind about fixing it making it right so we didn't have to go scorch earth or anything they did an amazing job and we're so excited to continue working with them yes yes but sophie texted me this morning she
5:01Sofia Franklyn:I said, hey, got a lot on my to-do list this morning. I'm schlepping a couple boxes downstairs. Do you mind if we start up about a quarter past? I was like, oh, yeah, no, that's totally fine. So I went to go grab some breakfast, some continental breakfast outside. Don't get me fucking started on this hotel, man. I booked two rooms for me and just my friend. It was a disaster last night. We got in at like midnight. That's a story for another day.
5:27Colton Underwood:No, no, tell it now. What happened?
5:30Sofia Franklyn:Basically, I booked the hotels for me and my friend. And I booked a suite because it's me, my friend Angie, and then another girlfriend of mine, Sarah, is coming and meeting us on Saturday. So I was like, we'll just get the suite as long as we have two beds. There's no two queens. So I was like, we'll get the king, then we'll get the sofa bed. So we arrive and I get to the lobby, whatever. We check in. He goes, oh, here's your room, whatever. Me and Angie go up. And then I'm like, I could have sworn I got two queen rooms. Like, I didn't remember. So I check my confirmation email. It's like two rooms.
5:54Sofia Franklyn:So I go downstairs. I'm like, sir, did I get two rooms? And he goes, no, you didn't. And I was like, no, no, no. But like, look at my phone. I see two rooms. So he looks at the thing. He's like, oh, you're right. You do have two rooms. Okay. And I was like, well, can I get a refund? I don't need two rooms. This was an error. He goes, well, you bought the non-refundable deposit for like the lower rate. So basically me and my friend are spending like almost$800 to fucking sit in Houston per person.
6:16Colton Underwood:Oh my God.
6:17Sofia Franklyn:No, it was a disaster. And then I go into this room. It's creepy. Like it's really weird. I didn't even sleep here last night. I texted Angie and I go, dude, this hotel room is creepy. Wait, what's creepy about it? it's like a fairfield inn and suites like it's not a bad chain like we're not you know it's fine but angie was like dude i'm scared too so i went upstairs and slept with her last night because i was so like it's unnerving it just i don't know it was weird noises i don't know it's because it's just been a fucking like crazy 14 hours wait i'm so i'm so curious like what what's so unnerving about the no you know how i travel dude like i'm like yeah you're you're a little bit of a
6:52Colton Underwood:brat when it comes to yeah yeah my accommodations and your accommodations yes so I've just you know
7:00Sofia Franklyn:that's something that I'll own you know I gotta work on it no no no you are who you are that's
7:05Colton Underwood:okay some people don't care about like hotels they're like it's all about the the journey
7:10Sofia Franklyn:no could never be me like the hotel is part of the experience yes if you know you know yeah so So anyways, it's just been a hell of a couple of hours. I'm actually dying that every ad recording I have on a different shirt.
7:25Colton Underwood:A different shirt. Mind you, once again, like there's maybe two seconds between ad recordings. I'm like, when did you even change? It's so crazy. But yeah, with Hydrogate, you guys, the merch company is scheduled to pick up to get them out of my apartment finally. and uh they were supposed to be picked up earlier in the week but there was a blizzard in new york as many of you probably know so uh finally got picked up and i just schlepped them down to the
7:52Sofia Franklyn:package room and that was a workout yeah no i good for you dude there is a lot they were big again
7:59Colton Underwood:it's not like they were hats hydro no but they were big heavy packages but right but everyone
8:05Sofia Franklyn:was so invested in hydrogate hashtag hydrogate hashtag hydrogate yeah we will keep you guys
8:10Colton Underwood:updated when we um have an update about uh hydrogate everyone was like you guys should
8:19Sofia Franklyn:sell it and i'm like you guys don't want this you don't want it you don't want it i'm sorry i'm not trying to be shady but like you guys don't i wouldn't give this to you i don't we just don't
8:27Colton Underwood:want to do that i will say that the pre-production samples that actually arrived so we like we said if you listen last week we thought i was going to receive one pre-production sample of a hydrogate jug and instead I received four huge boxes of a product that was not exactly what we wanted. But I did receive pre-production samples of some of the other stuff, some of the other merch, and it looked amazing. So that's the good news.
8:53Craig Conover:It's very high quality. I'm so excited about it.
8:56Colton Underwood:Yeah, I'm so excited for you guys to see it. It's going to be so great.
9:01Sofia Franklyn:No, I'm really excited about it too. It's everything we could have asked for and more. So we're going to be, if you're at our live shows, we'll sell it at our live show, but obviously we're gonna have like an e-commerce platform set up for you guys you guys can purchase eventually once we're all like well and good but you're like an e-commerce platform yeah we need to
9:18Colton Underwood:like make a website so that's the next step but it's work in practice we tell you guys too much i feel like this is like such behind the scenes stuff that like you guys don't even need to know
9:26Sofia Franklyn:right now but it's like we just can't shut up the sausage maker it's like yeah we're telling you how the sausage is made you're like we just want to see the sweatshirt like relax yeah like queens of over sharing yeah what are you doing this weekend what am i doing this weekend what can you even do
9:40Colton Underwood:in a blizzard like i really want to see no well i think it actually is supposed to snow again uh but the snow this is actually my dark energy object so i'm skipping ahead too is that it snowed obviously earlier this week and then it was like sunny and like 40 degrees yesterday basically summer it was like balmy pool and so all of the snow is melting and that includes the snow that is on top of like scaffolding in buildings so it's dripping everywhere yeah you're like that's a droplet in my eye no literally i was just and i'm like wearing like a scarf a hat a hood like i'm trying to protect my head but there was a moment where a huge massive droplet landed right on my head on my hair my hair was wet from this droplet um and i wasn't it wasn't hair wash day but i was like i have to wash my hair right now so i went home and washed
10:36Sofia Franklyn:my it's like disgusting it's the worst part of like a snowstorm in new york is when it starts to melt yeah that sounds very not nice but i really want to see weathering heights i still haven't
10:48Colton Underwood:seen it and i also want to see the movie send help with rachel mcadams oh i didn't oh right with Dylan O 'Brien. Yes, with Dylan O 'Brien too. I really want to see that. So I might see a movie this weekend. But yeah, pretty chill weekend in store. Yeah, and you'll be in Houston living it up.

11:08Sofia Franklyn:Yeah, it's the weekends with the girlies look a little bit different because it's my best friend's baby, like, sprinkle. So yeah, so it'll be fun. But we have so much to discuss us on today's episode a lot of tv a lot of i hate to even bring his name his fucking name up colton underwood can i just get into it because i just have to talk about how triggering he is because sophie and i and everyone on the snarkbait team our group chat was popping off because all of us are so incredibly triggered by colton underwood and i subjected myself no i didn't even listen to the whole episode because i don't want to give the downloads to this man never forget when alex cooper had him on like even before traders like what the hell but this is what colton underwood said on Harry Jowsey's boyfriend material, Unwell podcast.
11:54Sofia Franklyn:He said, Colton said, people feel like they know me and they have this right and entitlement to know every detail about my life. I get it from watching me in like 2018, 2019 or whatever it was in The Bachelor. And after you don't follow me or what I've been through through the last six years, and then you tune into traitors and it's like, who the hell is this dude? I've been vocal and vulnerable about my path and my journey. They don't have a full understanding that they have no idea really what was going on behind what was going on and what was true. Of course, I have a ton of regret and I took accountability in the past, but I'm tired of having to answer questions about it.
12:22Sofia Franklyn:We, meaning him and Cassie, handled it privately and we've moved on and it's a disservice to keep rehashing things. Obviously, he's talking about all the backlash that he's been receiving since he had a stint on traitors and all of his stalking allegations have now resurfaced. And Colton, I think you have it all completely confused. We don't care the journey that you've been on over the last six years. We actually want you off of our fucking television screens. And for you to continue to keep rewriting history and acting as if we are begging to see what's been going on in your life and that we're not appalled like we're not feeling for you because you've apologized so many times we've never wanted to know about your life ever since we found out about the stalking allegations live your life privately stop talking i didn't even know he went on harry jowsey's podcast i
13:01Colton Underwood:knew he did an interview with vanity fair and we also were setting this in the group chat and talking about how in this interview he says you know what i've taken accountability i will continue need to take accountability. And then he lists off every excuse and every reason why he did what he did, including that he was like stunted in high school because he was an athlete. And so he didn't get it out of his system. Get what out of your system?
13:26Sofia Franklyn:Stalking someone? I was actually crying, laughing on the plane when you sent that yesterday. Oh, so Colton, being an athlete in high school and being hooked on Xanax is a side effect. No, stalking someone is a side effect of being hooked on Xanax or being a high school athlete means that you're going to be a stalker in your future. Shut the fuck up. Literally shut up.
13:47Colton Underwood:Exactly. And also he makes a point to be like, you know what? Because the interviewer asked the right questions. I don't have their name on hand right now, but I will find it. But they asked the right questions. And one of them was like, why do you keep... Here's the question. Let's talk about the idea of platforming. What would you say to those who take issue with the fact that these television shows are actively choosing to put someone with a checkered pass on their programs when they can give that slot to someone else yep exactly great question and uh colton basically says you know what like i feel like instead of hiding who i am i'm actually helping people helping people helping people he goes i love the entertainment industry i love representing same-sex couples who want to have kids.
14:36Colton Underwood:Having some of my gay friends reach out and be like, it was so cool to watch you grab Rob's backpack on the trailers. I don't even remember him grabbing Rob's backpack. What does that even mean? Like that representation on television was epic to see from a gay man. Oftentimes we have to shrink ourselves when we enter these masculine spaces. And the fact that you like put your chest out was really cool to see. What gets me to show up every single day is the lives that I've saved. I say that because I've received messages from people across not only our country, but like because of Netflix, the world saying, I didn't see a path out.
15:05Colton Underwood:I didn't know what my life was, but watching your story and watching what you went through helped me come out and saved my life. He's basically saying I have literally saved people's lives by being on TV.
15:14Sofia Franklyn:We were talking about this and Olivia brought up a good point when we were chatting. She goes, he's actually done far more harm to the LGBTQ community than good, one would argue. And I said this on a TikTok that kind of went viral, but I basically said the fact that he went on national television convincing himself from his point of view he said you know during that time when i was the bachelor i was trying to convince myself i was straight i knew deep down i was gay but i was trying to like pray the gay away so to speak or if i get on this reality he called it like convert his own weird version of conversion therapy conversion therapy right again i still don't i get it's like a vapid tv show but i will say it's still not fair that all these women took pauses on their life to date this man whether they were there for the right reasons is not really relevant.
15:58Sofia Franklyn:I do think it's duplicitous for him to go on a TV show, posture as a straight man to convert himself basically as a straight man. I don't think that's okay. And I think that you are a duplicitous person. Like, I'm sorry if that's controversial. I do think that it's horrible that he did that.
16:12Colton Underwood:He admitted in this Vanity Fair interview that he, you know, that when he was on The Bachelor, his whole shtick was that he was a virgin. He was like, I hated that. But he also wasn't a virgin when it came to sexual encounters with men. So he admits in this Vanity Fair interview that he had had sexual encounters with men before being on The Bachelor.
16:32Sofia Franklyn:Yeah, I mean, I guess that doesn't surprise me. I didn't realize that tidbit. But to me, it takes a certain type of person to go on national television and lie to women. Innocent women, by the way, that come on the show to take pauses in their life.
16:49Colton Underwood:And he claims, I mean, he claims, you know, I was trying to convince myself I was closeted. It was a really hard time in my life. But again, people do argue, well, you did know that you weren't straight. So it's like he's saying one thing, I think, you know, in retrospect, no, I was trying to convince myself that I was straight. But other people like Christy, like you, are saying he knew that he wasn't straight and he was lying to everyone.
17:16Sofia Franklyn:And there's plenty of gay men in the closet that don't go on national television to find a female partner. Like, I don't know. I just don't like that argument of, well, just trying to convince myself. No, no, no. You were how old at that time? You knew exactly what you were doing. I just I think he is a very scary individual. I don't think he's scary for what he did of really going on the show. I just think that's like he's a liar. But I think that he is a scary individual for what he did to Cassie. and the fact that he blamed it in the Vanity Fair article on his, him being hooked on drugs, prescription drugs, on Xanax.
17:49Sofia Franklyn:That's you not taking accountability.
17:52Colton Underwood:Not taking any accountability. He blamed it on his stunted childhood from being an athlete when he was younger, from being on drugs, from being closeted. And it was like a dark time in his life. Even on the Traders reunion, he was like, it was the darkest time in my life. And it's like, what about the woman you were stalking? It's not about you. Yeah. How was it for her? Like, he blamed it on so many things in this interview it's actually insane he's like it was it's insane right now he he was like this was my last like basically saying i was so desperate if cassie if i couldn't get get cassie to love me then i was going to end my life yeah that's what he says in this interview and it's like i just feel like it's a lot of excuses it's not that's not what accountability is but he's saying oh i i've always taken accountability for my mistakes and what I've done.
18:41Colton Underwood:And it's like, but you're not, you're making excuse after excuse after excuse.
18:45Sofia Franklyn:And yeah. And to me, if he had just said in this vanity fair article, oh, wait, no, actually, let me, let me rewind a little bit. It was a contingency that if he were to go on the traders production, he made production promise and like put it in writing that you would not bring up the Cassie stalking allegations. He was very sensitive to that being brought up. Now, obviously it's been brought up. It's all over Instagram and TikTok and online. So now he's forced to address these rumors i think one that just shows how calculated you are you're like trying to like push down all this bad press about you knowing that that's what we last that's when we last heard about you um number two i forgot where i was going with this oh he also blamed covid
19:21Colton Underwood:in the vanity fair interview i forgot to mention that part he blamed covid yeah okay now i remember
19:27Sofia Franklyn:what i was going to say if he had just said listen i completely understand that me being back on people's screens six years after the fact is very triggering for some people. I'm trying to create a new life for myself, my family with an opportunity to win some money. I made horrible decisions and I have no one to blame but myself. I have done this work X, Y, and Z to make sure that I am a safe individual to be around, that I am not a threat to other people or to myself. And that's it. That's where it would end. But no, he had to bring up all this excuse after excuse. And it's like, we don't want to hear it.
19:59Sofia Franklyn:That just shows me you've actually done none of the work that you're claiming you have.
20:02Colton Underwood:Yeah.
20:03Sofia Franklyn:Like, you have nothing to show for it.
20:04Colton Underwood:The Vanity Fair journalist, by the way, is named Chris Murphy. But yeah, he talks about how it was COVID. And he says, I was struggling with Xanax and prescription medications. It was a pretty intense moment in my life where I made some really poor decisions. The difficult part now is seeing the people have a lot to say about what happened six years ago. It's lacking a lot of the context of where our world was at. He's saying COVID. Just because it was COVID, no one was stalking other people because of COVID. But also where I was at, the state of mind that I was in, the pressures and the threats that I was going through, I will always take accountability.
20:40Colton Underwood:I will always own mistakes that I made, but you're not taking accountability because there's a but afterwards. There's a but, right. But every look that you're seeing on social media, these videos, these people have a lot to say, is not correct. He's still not taking accountability.
20:52Sofia Franklyn:What about it is not correct, Colton? Did you not get a temporary? Did Cassie not file a temporary restraining order against you. You put a tracking device on her car. Did you not put a tracking device on your car? Were you not loitering outside of her home in Huntington Beach at 2 a.m. scaring her family?
21:05Colton Underwood:Stopping her family members, sending fake threats to himself to convince her that it was someone else? Tell us, Colton, what exactly is not true?
21:13Sofia Franklyn:Let us know. Please provide receipts because I'm actually curious from your point of view. What is it that we're getting wrong?
21:18Colton Underwood:It's like the amount, that's what's so frustrating. It's like the the facts are the facts. Yes. And the amount of excuses is not, like, I feel like he's still trying to convince people. Well, like you would do this too. If you were in my position, it's like, no, we wouldn't.
21:34Sofia Franklyn:If you were in lockdown and you were hooked on prescription drugs and you were closeted.
21:39Colton Underwood:And if you were trying to save your one last straight chance to be straight, like you too would leave a tracking device on someone's car. I assure you.
21:47Sofia Franklyn:So he likes it. He triggers me beyond belief. I don't ever want to see him on my television screen. Go away. And I'm so glad that no one bought his rebrand when he got on The Traitors.
21:58Colton Underwood:It was such a bad decision on his management's part to put him on The Traitors because he was not – he wasn't like a household name. Like people who watched The Bachelor knew about him, but The Traitors is one of the biggest shows in the country. If not like the biggest show, honestly. Like I'm not exaggerating. Everyone – I like go to restaurants now and I hear people talking about The Traitors at the table next to me. Like, yeah, no, no, it's pervasive. And so he got exposed to an entirely new audience who discovered what kind of person he is. And he couldn't handle that. Not everyone that he didn't get the comeback redemption tour that he thought he was going to get.
22:37Colton Underwood:And I know he thought he was going to get that, by the way. Oh, he's so thought he was going to get that kind of like Phaedra did. Phaedra on the traders. She did a really bad thing on Real Houses of Atlanta, came on the traders. Everyone loved her. fully worked for her, rehabbing her image. Sandoval. Sandoval too, I think. Sandoval too. Like, it worked sometimes. It did not work for him. Thank God. And yeah, just a really poor decision. I loved how Rinna kind of went after him at the reunion. But as you guys know, Christy and I are both proud aunties. And for as long as I can remember, my nephew Miles loves to eat Little Spoon.
23:14Colton Underwood:They've been such a staple in my sister's house since he was a baby. They're also the kind of meals and snacks that you want to steal from the child, so just a heads up, because they just look so good. Miles is almost three, and he loves the Little Spoon plates. They're heat-and-eat meals with superfoods and hidden veggies, perfect for picky eaters and getting mealtime on the table in minutes. His favorite and my favorite are the mini pancake puffs with chicken, vegetable, maple, sausage, and sweet potato, along with the mac and cheese with invisible butternut squash and carrots. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it.
23:47Colton Underwood:Little Spoon also has the best snacks for when your toddler is on the go. Miles loves the puffs. They're organic, made with simple ingredients, and easy for his cute, chubby little hands to grasp, supporting oral motor development while adding a nutrition boost. Love that. With 100-plus ingredients banned across the board, you don't have to overthink labels or second-guess what you're serving. It's already been thought through for you, and that confidence makes all the difference for parents and aunties like me everywhere. Feeding the kids doesn't have to be complicated. Little Spoon makes it easy with real, nutritionally balanced meals and snacks designed for every stage.
24:23Colton Underwood:It shows up ready to go, takes the pressure off, and somehow still gets devoured, veggies and all. No artificial dyes, flavors, or sweeteners either. And you know what? Every style, every home um yeah wait do you want to talk about the traders finale really fast i think that's a good dovetail into the finale i have not watched the reunion yet but i did watch the finale so
27:10Colton Underwood:spoiler alert if you haven't watched it which hopefully you have by now because it's now four days later five days later um rob one which we all kind of predicted uh if you watch traders UK season two it is very reminiscent of Harry and Molly where Harry the traitor goes to the end with faithful Molly who he's really really really tight with she's convinced that he's a traitor or that he's a faithful and uh is shocked and appalled when he says I'm a traitor gotcha and that's basically what happened with Rob and Maura but I'm sorry I don't feel bad for Maura I'm sorry
27:44Sofia Franklyn:I don't like at the reunion she was really hard on herself and being like I'm sure I can't do her accent like you can. I haven't watched it. Rob, you really got me. No, I don't even know what the hell. There's like British, Australian and Irish.
27:57Colton Underwood:It's a troll way of so stupid, Rob.
27:59Sofia Franklyn:It's a troll way of volt. But no, I genuinely I don't feel badly for Maura. I feel badly for Eric.
28:04Colton Underwood:I felt bad for Eric. He looked like he was going to cry.
28:07Sofia Franklyn:When he said at the end, Sophie, when he goes to me, like relationships are greater than this, I would never do this to someone. And I believe him.
28:14Colton Underwood:I believe him. But I also don't think he needs money. And I actually think that Rob was like, I need the money. Like I'm from like small town, Alabama. He's like, I just want to like find a nice girl, have kids running around, buy a farm, live off the grid. I'm like, okay, America's sweetheart. Like he knows exactly what to say.
28:32Sofia Franklyn:But you know, I want to double click on that actually, because he said, you know what? This money is life changing. To me, I'm like, you're one of the most successful people to come out of Love Island season six. This is like a brand deal for you. I'm assuming like this is your brand deal with DoorDash.
28:47Colton Underwood:Honestly, you're right like what do you mean you need this money like i'm not saying it's obviously a lot of money but like he already had a million followers like going into the traders and this only like increases
28:58Sofia Franklyn:his stock his value and influencer space i mean he's on the name on everyone's lips yeah he's
29:04Colton Underwood:america's sweetheart i do think that he made a good point when he was like would you give a hundred thousand dollars to someone you met three weeks ago thank you in terms of yeah i'm gonna screw over eric i want that 100k for myself i'm not gonna split that with someone that i barely
29:17Sofia Franklyn:know.
29:18Colton Underwood:I just felt bad for Eric. He didn't see it coming.
29:20Sofia Franklyn:He didn't. When Alan threw the pouch in and it turned red for Rob. Eric's face. I know. And I was watching it with my friends. And one of my friends was like, why do you want the traitors to win?
29:30Colton Underwood:Are you psychotic? I was like, dude, it's completely deserved. Yeah. Oh my God. And I find myself a lot of the time rooting for the faithfuls because they're working at such a disadvantage. So it's kind of like rooting for the underdog when you watch the traitors rooting for the faithfuls. Like I usually do root for the Faithfuls. This time I was like, Rob, no one deserves to win except Rob. Even like Tara and Johnny who figured it out at the end, it was like too little, too late. You already screwed over Natalie. You had your chance and it's just, it's too late now. Like no one deserved to win other than Rob.
30:01Colton Underwood:So like I of course was rooting for him.
30:03Sofia Franklyn:Yeah. I think it was completely earned. And I came across this clip on TikTok of all the contestants right before the reunion. And the interviewer was saying, who did you want to win the traders? Like after you left the castle. And I would say like 75 % of them said Rob yeah like everyone was respected the game even Natalie was like the second I left that castle and I found out it was Rob I was like he's gonna take it home and I want
30:26Colton Underwood:him to win yeah Natalie was like fuck you faithfuls and they're like little exit interview where they show her who the traitors are and I was like yeah that's right fuck the faithfuls these dumb asses um okay should we talk about southern charm next oh my god I watched this on
30:43Sofia Franklyn:the plane and I was like I had a physical reaction to Craig I'm so excited to hear what you have to
30:47Colton Underwood:think about his outburst not once but twice Craig is absolutely unhinged uh I'm sorry I don't know why so many people on the internet I know that Vanita is annoying sometimes I know that Sally is annoying sometimes that does not excuse the way that he is talking to these women I'm sorry it doesn't and the fact that so many people are like Vanita had it coming Sally had it coming I'm like no they yeah they're fucking annoying but they do not deserve to be spoken to like this it is unexcusable it's unacceptable it's disgusting everyone's like stop poking him like they really weren't at least like sally in the van was like oh my god you look crazy with your hair everywhere and he goes you're a fucking loser i hate you get out of my life like it was scary he was red he was reesey he was so scary so drunk obviously he came onto the sprinter van and he was like i I got tequila, beer, and cigarettes after they'd been drinking all day and night.
31:40Colton Underwood:He clearly has a problem.
31:42Sofia Franklyn:Yes.
31:43Colton Underwood:And I just am so confused about the amount of women on the internet defending him.
31:50Sofia Franklyn:I think that they don't, they can't differentiate the Craig who's a Martha Stewart. He's so lovely. He brings Miss Pat gifts every time he arrives to her home. Oh my God, he has bees. Yeah, he has such a, he's such a sweet, sensitive soul from the person who clearly has a very, very, he has a dark addiction. And he's admitted that on camera. And that's when him and Austin got in a fight at that restaurant at Austin's birthday party. Austin's like, you used me as like a storyline. It's getting to me that you did in fact have an issue with alcohol. And now you're taking shots at the bar like it ain't no thing.
32:21Sofia Franklyn:I am concerned. And Krug's like, how dare you talk about my alcohol problem? How dare you?
32:28Colton Underwood:Austin in the back of that van with his legs crossed, smoking a cigarette, texting the other van. Vibes. like that's that's you and me 100 oh my god that was like and if charlie charlie seems really really really sweet normal i really like charlie i love facial expressions i like her a lot if she doesn't get the ick after this episode i there's no hope but apparently she's dating someone else now uh so i don't think her and craig's relationship is long for this world luckily yeah i think that when
33:01Sofia Franklyn:they were playing that game at the table and vanita goes i wish austin would stand up for himself she sometimes vanita's reality tv gameplay dare i say i don't understand it first aligning herself with jt like last season or two seasons ago knowing he was like the most hated person on that cast then going after like the number one guy in the group that is craig again i'm not defending craig's behavior i didn't elicit the response he had at the dinner table point blank enough said but i just have to say i don't know what vanita is is doing with her reality tv career she's putting her like she's putting her eggs all in the wrong basket and i just don't understand like why she's behaving in the way that she is and her controlling this over sally i have to admit if we talk about sally i kind of like her i understand sally's doing sally's doing the same thing to charlie yes 100 she is quite hypocritical because she told you know she like craig vinita said don't come crying back to me sally got upset but she's doing the same exact thing to charlie yeah i have to say though i enjoy sally's authenticity she doesn't care that cameras are on her she is acting so diabolical and without any like filter and i kind of appreciate that she is exactly who she is i don't think she's hamming it up for the cameras i don't think she's pretending to be anything she's not i kind of respect her leaning into exactly who she is i agree with that
34:16Colton Underwood:but i also think she's like creepy like i think it's like the way that she is talking to and about austin is like i don't want to use the word predatory but if it were the roles were reversed it would be very problematic. Like it's too much. A lot of people were saying that online too. But I do find her entertaining and I do find her authentic like you said.
34:37Sofia Franklyn:I think that she's the reason this season is performing so well because she is bringing it. And I don't think she has any game. Like I don't think she has any playbook. Like I think Vanita does. I think Vanita is saying, oh, I'm going to like attach my heart to this horse and go against, to this horse and like I'm going to go against Craig or whatever. I feel like she's trying to do something that it's not sticking with the audience versus Sally is just kind of being who she is. And agreed, it's not always in good form. And I certainly wouldn't do it. But I gotta love her for bringing it.
35:04Colton Underwood:I do like, though, that Vanita seems to have genuine friendships with everyone. And I think that's why she gets so emotional. I'm a Vanita apologist. Like, I know that she's made some very questionable decisions and moves. But I think she has genuine friendships with them. And I think that's why she gets so emotional. Like, with Rod and Austin and Molly. Like, I think that these are like real life friendships. And that's why she was like, you didn't stand up for me. Like, why are you letting Craig speak to me like that? And she's right. Like, no one, luckily everyone was standing up to Craig when he was yelling at Sally.
35:35Colton Underwood:But like, when Craig was yelling at Vanita at that dinner table, and I love how his like whole move was always being like, you don't exist in my world. We are no longer friends. And it's like, are you 12? Or are you a grown man that is pushing 40 years old? Like, he is so disgusting. I cannot believe how many people, like I said, like online, it is so scary to me how obsessed the Southern Charm fan base is with him still saying, well, they deserve, they deserved it. Sally and Vanita had it coming. Shut up.
36:03Sofia Franklyn:That's not fair. Like them being annoying doesn't allow that behavior, period. And I have to say that Craig, when he said to Vanita, you don't even exist in my world. Those are fighting words. Like that actually made my heart break for Vanita because you, in my mind, would he have said that to Sally? No. Like to me, there is certainly unconscious bias going on there.
36:29Colton Underwood:I 100 % agree that that felt like a microaggression. Yes.
36:33Sofia Franklyn:Yes. It was a microaggression. And even the way he was going off on Sally, it didn't feel, it was aggressive. It felt physically like he was in her face. But the words he was using with Vanita were like emotionally damaging to someone, in my opinion.
36:45Colton Underwood:Horrible.
36:46Sofia Franklyn:I mean, they were both awful, obviously. But I think just the way he spoke to Vanita, you don't even exist in my world. You don't even know me. I don't even know you. Like, it's almost as if you're not even relevant for me to speak to. And that was tough for me to watch. That is how it felt.
37:00Colton Underwood:It was like, you're not even like a main character on this show is how it felt. Like, he's such a fucking asshole. I cannot, I genuinely, I know I keep saying this. I just cannot wrap my head around the fact that people still think that he's attractive. Watching the show, they're like, Craig, what a movie star. Are we watching the same person?
37:18Sofia Franklyn:He has struggled with the same thing season after season. And it has never gotten better. And I think with Paige, he was able to kind of like there was a bit of like a mask there because he was with Paige and she kind of set him straight. But I think the second that she left, he's reverting back to his old ways. He's not satisfied with himself. There's something there. I don't know. It's really scary to watch. And it's always men on Bravo. It's never the women. They're always like picking up the pieces, trying to make themselves a better person. and it comes back to like Jax Taylor, Tom Sandoval, Craig Conover, Shep.
37:49Colton Underwood:It's just so funny how like they're all morphing into, especially Craig, I feel like. We've always said Shep is morphing into Thomas Ravenel. But Craig, the way that he was yelling at women this episode was so Thomas Ravenel coded.
38:02Sofia Franklyn:It reminded me of Thomas Ravenel yelling at Chelsea on the boat.
38:05Colton Underwood:Yep, yep, exactly what I was thinking of.
38:08Sofia Franklyn:I agree. It had the same level of aggression for sure.
38:11Colton Underwood:Like it was scary. It was genuinely frightening and alarming to me. And I felt scared for the women around him. I feel like if Charlie did not feel icked out by him or afraid of him in that moment, I would be shocked.
38:24Sofia Franklyn:Yeah. I think Charlie seems like a smart girl who has like good emotional intelligence. I do feel like she's going to catch up very soon. I really hope because I do like her as well.
38:33Colton Underwood:I really hope so.
38:35Sofia Franklyn:She seems very genuine. Like, I really like her.
38:37Colton Underwood:Yeah.
38:38Sofia Franklyn:Okay. Speaking of Bravo, can we get into Summer House? Yes. Oh, my God. But we were, I feel like we were also on opposing sides about this. We were.
38:46Colton Underwood:We were having like a little debate in our group chat about this.
38:49Sofia Franklyn:Okay. You guys, you guys know that I hate Jessie Solomon. I've been making it known. I had to go back into my highlight reel on Instagram, celebs I hate. Obviously, Kate Stokes.
38:58Colton Underwood:Her highlight. That's called celebs I hate. Yeah. It's literally just like. Very normal. Just your average Instagram highlight. You know. Other people are like Saint Tropez. Barcelona. Like outfits. it's out like fallen and fallen nyc links mine is just there's only one highlight on my instagram
39:18Sofia Franklyn:it's just celebs i hate and it's literally just comprised of chase stokes and jesse okay and oh my god i mean they don't even need to explain the chase okay i don't have the time energy or
39:27Colton Underwood:capacity for that today that goes without explanation yeah but jesse solomon has always
39:32Sofia Franklyn:triggered me in a way that i cannot explain um but i think the way that he is coming on so aggressively towards Sierra he's always been very flirtatious to all the women in the house I think the first thing that I want to address is how aggressive he's coming for Sierra this season and I'm unclear if this is his like storyline that he's trying to ham up for the cameras trying to create this true love triangle and the two of them are both playing into it but I found it incredibly incredibly disrespectful that when he was in the bed spooning with Sierra with Mia two inches from him him saying I think I'm gonna get a bone with his like gross mouth and he's like 50-90 he's like I think I'm getting hard yeah it's so disgusting and Mia's like like I could see the disgust of
40:16Colton Underwood:me she's like please don't he's using the bed bug thing as an excuse to be creepy with Sierra like putting his head on her boobs and spooning with her and I do think part of her is into it oh oh
40:27Sofia Franklyn:oh, is the sky blue?
40:29Colton Underwood:Of course she's into it.
40:30Craig Conover:Yeah, like she's into it. Give me a break.
40:32Colton Underwood:Like, I don't know. The whole West thing, this is where we, I think, are maybe on opposing sides because I do think that it is really gross of Jessie to try to encroach on Sierra and then be like, West, I want to hook up with Sierra. Like basically being like, I'm giving you a heads up that I'm going to try to hook up with Sierra. And West is like, but Sierra and I were so serious. We were boyfriend and girlfriend. And it's like you just spent the past two years minimizing your relationship with her and saying you weren't that serious. She needs to get over it. Last summer, you were like, I wish she would hook up with someone else so she would like be over me.
41:06Colton Underwood:And now all of a sudden you were so serious. Like what? It's like a revisionist history.
41:11Sofia Franklyn:It totally is revisionist history. I agree that he's rewriting it and it's not a good look. I don't know what it is, guys. I can't get rid of Wes. Like I like Wes. I would queen out with Wes. I feel like he'd be so fun. and Sophie and I were also arguing about when he made that comment to KJ and he goes, hey, you know, are you anxious right now? Because she's like, yeah, a little anxious, whatever. He goes, do you like it when people check in on you like this? I was like, what a king. Like checking in on his friend, asking like what he needs during times of anxiety.
41:38Colton Underwood:Sophie was like, you fucking kidding me? That was so weird. You thought that was cool? No, I literally think that he is like peak performative white male. No, I love him. I'm sorry. I thought it was genuine.
41:49Sofia Franklyn:Am I dumb? I thought it was so genuine.
41:51Colton Underwood:Let us know what you think of Wes this season. I think that he is so inauthentic. And I posted this also on our Snarkbait pod Instagram story when I was watching the episode. I was like, he is so fucking performative. Like, he's literally pandering to the female Bravo audience. When he said there was one moment in the last episode where he was like, they were at the single mixer. And he was like, I don't understand why people hate their exes. Like, all of my exes are hot and cool and fun. Like, of course, I love my exes and I want to be friends with them. It's like, you are saying exactly what you think a man written by a woman would say.
42:22Colton Underwood:Like he's literally trying to pander to the audience. He is so inauthentic to me. Nothing about him is genuine. It is so performative. I just, I can't stand him. And the fact, I just like can't get over the fact that he did a whole New York Times interview. Basically saying, I just didn't like Sierra that much. Like why can't she get over it? And now all of a sudden he's like, we were so serious. Like I actually am like, yeah, it doesn't surprise me that much that Jesse would assume that Wes like is completely over Sierra. Because he spent the past two years basically talking shit about her.
42:50Sofia Franklyn:Yeah. Like please get away from me, Sierra.
42:52Colton Underwood:find someone else it's so gross like jesse is still gross and creepy and i also dislike jesse but i also am like whoa wes like why are you acting like you have like any say here when you
43:03Sofia Franklyn:spent the past two years disparaging her yeah i i think what you're saying is valid at the same time i just feel like wes gives me really good vibes i don't i don't see it like he to me is genuine
43:15Colton Underwood:and are you one of those people that's shipping sierra and west i do not understand those people
43:20Sofia Franklyn:No, I definitely am not shipping Sierra and Wes, but I do think it's weird that Jesse is trying to go after. I do think it's weird. Like regardless of whether or not Wes is over it. And even if he were not offended, I think even if Wes were like, yeah, dude, that whatever. I mean, that's a little weird. But like, yeah, sure. I don't care. I would still be like, that's weird that Jesse is going so hard for his friends. I'm putting this in quotes, ex-girlfriend. But Sophie and I were also in agreeance that it's very clear to me, Wes is not like Jesse. Like something changed in their relationship since from last summer.
43:52Sofia Franklyn:They didn't even go up to the summer house the first week, you know, of filming. And it's clear that something happened. And some people online are saying that when Jessie made comments about Sierra and was like heavily flirting with her last season, Wes took that negatively and like distanced himself. I always feel like Wes was clearly the breakout star. I looked at their Instagrams and Wes has like more than over 100 ,000 followers more than Jessie. He does pander more to the Bravo female audience. And I feel like there's some deep-seated jealousy from Jesse, whether he wants to admit it or not.
44:23Colton Underwood:I agree with that. I just think that if Wes, like, their conversation on the pool float where he was like, I just think, like, you know, like, everyone thought it was really weird. Like, all the other guys thought it was really weird how you were trying, how you asked me permission to hook up with Sierra. And it's like, just say that you thought it was. Like, just say what you mean, you know?
44:41Sofia Franklyn:Ben, by the way, Ben took me aside. He thought it was really weird that you did that.
44:45Colton Underwood:Ben was spooked. He was freaked out.
44:47Sofia Franklyn:He thought it was so weird, Jesse. See, like he actually took me aside and made it a point to tell me how weird it was.
44:52Colton Underwood:Ben was like, I can't do an Australian accent.
44:55Sofia Franklyn:Can you? I can't believe. No. No, that's Maura.
44:59Colton Underwood:Now I'm being like, wait, you're literally just in Maura's accent.
45:02Sofia Franklyn:Like he asked me to do any accent. It just comes out. It's a troll away vote.
45:05Colton Underwood:It's a troll away vote.
45:06Sofia Franklyn:How could you? You're never going to get a girlfriend, Rob.
45:09Colton Underwood:You're such a good liar. Oh, wait, I'm crying. She's a country girl.
45:15Sofia Franklyn:She's a country girl from Ireland. and Irish people let me know what you think about my accent I think it's great I know my
45:21Colton Underwood:Irish Cobra is like I mean it could use some work no Christy is so good at accents and impressions you guys way better than I am including you including me and I know what
45:33Sofia Franklyn:people are gonna say Christy stop doing the Sophie voice you don't understand I have voices for all of my friends and Sophie will never not be included I was I can't help it it's like ask me not to
45:42Colton Underwood:breathe it's like a vocal stem like it's just something that cannot be helped yeah like i can't
45:47Sofia Franklyn:anytime i get a text from sophia i'm describing you to anyone i know in my real life so anyways my podcast host co-host said no chrissy like chrissy chrissy me and mark
46:03Colton Underwood:Kristen Cavallari me and Mark
46:08Sofia Franklyn:we had the best sex I've ever had and I don't actually think that's a relationship I look back on it and he is such a kid he's such a kid and at the same time he won't give me what I want
46:22Colton Underwood:oh my god I'm crazy
46:25Sofia Franklyn:Mark me and Mark babies anytime soon Mark like three weeks later she's like oh mark wasn't serious like you literally were asking him to have babies like literally two weeks ago on your blog guess what are you talking about like i can't it's an insult to my intelligence kristen like stop it's an insult to our intelligence which by the way quick plug the roku reunion laguna beach oh when does that come out again uh i should know this but everyone out of my fucking way like this is this is out of my way out of my
46:54Colton Underwood:Right. Out of my way. I saw that Lauren LC posted about it. Let me see what the date is. All of them did.
47:01Sofia Franklyn:Kristen, even Christina. The one that no one remembers.
47:04Colton Underwood:Oh, I just don't follow Christina's. I wouldn't know.
47:06Sofia Franklyn:Oh, no. I do. I'm pretty sure she's private.
47:11Colton Underwood:April 10th. So we still have quite some time. Everyone out of the way.
47:15Sofia Franklyn:Genuinely, we need to do a Patreon. There's going to be four patrons that care about this, but I will be hosting it by myself if I
47:22Colton Underwood:No, I feel like a lot of us. Oh, my God. Wait, another thing. Sorry. I just opened my my phone to look at that. And I know, no, no. It's it's just something that I forgot to mention. We were talking about the traders. And I know you haven't watched the reunion yet. Sorry. I'm like switching gears again really fast and backtracking. That Candace on the reunion you will see is the biggest sore loser. It's so embarrassing.
47:44Sofia Franklyn:Oh, oh, oh. She literally gives me such an egg on her interviews. I've seen thereafter. It's so embarrassing.
47:49Colton Underwood:saying it's really and i have always like been such a candace fall just i love candace i love you know real houses of potomac i think that she i said from the beginning i was like she should have been a faithful like she should have been a faithful i just don't like her in the role of traitor because i don't think it's where she will shine and i was right she is so bitter she is acting like the game isn't called the traitors she's like you're a snake you're a liar to rob and it's like yeah he's like yeah i am that's the game yeah it's a game um let us know you guys what you thought of the Traders finale and reunion.
48:21Colton Underwood:I know Christy, you still have to watch the reunion. Honestly, you didn't miss much.
48:24Sofia Franklyn:Yeah. I was just like, you know, I'm tired. Let's go back to the hotel. You know, it was too much. It was too much in one night, honestly.
48:30Colton Underwood:Is there any better feeling in the entire world than getting into a clean bed after an amazing, relaxing night shower and turning on old Roni? No. And as I've gotten older, I've realized luxury bedding is something you truly don't appreciate until you sleep in it. But like who has the money to splurge on bedding in this economy. Good news, you don't have to. And that's all thanks to Quince. When it comes to Quince, you'll notice the difference right away. From duvet covers and quilts to sheets and 100 % silk pillowcases, Quince bedding is so soft, lightweight, and you can instantly feel how high quality it is.
49:04Colton Underwood:Breathable bamboo, European linen, organic cotton, stripes, florals, limited edition butter yellow. Whatever your preference, Quince has it. I love our Percale gingham duvet cover and how chic and soft it is. I literally feel like I'm crawling into a hotel bed every night, but for a fraction of the cost of other luxury bedding. 50:22Colton Underwood:After years of really not caring about my health as much as I should, one of my goals this year is to finally change that. Part of that is getting older. I won't say exactly how old I am, but let's just say I'm at the age where it's really starting to matter how I treat my body and my brain health. And I know plenty of you millennial baby snarks are probably having similar aha moments. That's why I'm so excited that I've discovered Function. It's the only health platform that gives you access to over 160 biomarkers, covering everything from hormones and metabolism to heart health, inflammation, stress markers, and toxins.
50:54Colton Underwood:You can even add MRI and chest CT imaging, and it's all tracked in one secure place. It's the kind of comprehensive view of your health that most people never get access to. There's a reason Function is backed by top U.S. doctors like neuroscientist Dr. Andrew Huberman and cardiovascular surgeon Dr. Jeremy London. I definitely feel like my memory and my neurons aren't as sharp as they used to be. And function of health has taught me what's happening in your brain reflects what's happening across your entire body. Things like inflammation, blood sugar regulation, nutrient levels, sleep quality, vascular health, all influence how your brain performs today and over time.
51:26Colton Underwood:So if you're not measuring those systems, you're guessing. So stop guessing what's going on with your body and mind and start actually measuring. Start by understanding what's happening beneath the surface. Own your health for$365 a year. That's a dollar a day. Learn more and join Function using our link. 52:20Colton Underwood:Okay, let's talk about Sophia Franklin's announcement that she is writing a memoir called Daddy Issues. First of all, the title and cover are brilliant. The cover has a picture of her and Alex with Alex Cutout. And also the title Daddy Issues, obviously referencing Call Her Daddy, but also she has talked about having real-life daddy issues with her father and actually has a very, very, very different upbringing than the one that Alex Cooper had. So I think that it's going to delve a lot into her background, obviously, that I feel like we don't really know that much about. It says, coming November 10th, her memoir Daddy Issues will delve not only into her time on Call Her Daddy, but the emotional and physical result of her fallout with Cooper, feelings of betrayal, and learning how to reinvent herself.
53:07Colton Underwood:The decision to write the book was one I came to on my own. She tells Rolling Stone,
53:17Colton Underwood:So it sounds like she needed some time away from the situation to really reflect on it. And I know a lot of people are like, what else is there to say? Because she basically talked about it, you know, her first episode of Sophia with an F. So I don't know. I guess we'll see.
53:30Sofia Franklyn:Yeah, I am a little bit confused as to why now, why this sperm? But I feel like people have been speculating that, did she sign an NDA that now has expired so now she can talk? I don't know about that because I feel like her and Alex Cooper, they separated kind of randomly. I mean, to us it felt random. But unless she had an NDA signed with Barstool, I don't foresee her signing any NDA.
53:51Colton Underwood:She also has already talked about it.
53:53Sofia Franklyn:Yeah, exactly. She's talked about it on her first episode with Sophia with an F. And from my recollection, I remember it being such a scathing episode. She said, Alex, this is going to be directed exactly towards you. You would do anything for a blue checkmark. She also said something to the effect of, you know, when I would suggest that we do live shows, you were really scared because you wouldn't have a way to read a script on live, like on a live stage. She said, I was the intellectual, like the brains behind the entire operation. Yeah, you had great work ethic. But like I was the one that basically created Call Her Daddy alongside Milf Hunter, who you also abandoned.
54:25Sofia Franklyn:she called her out pretty viciously in that first episode so i'm hopeful i'm hopeful that this memoir will bring to light the issues leading up to them disbanding like that's what i'm curious about because alex cooper in that like youtube video that she released that was like 40 minutes that was answering most of our questions she talked about basically the events of like right before them deciding to like divorce but i want to know what was going on behind the scenes like production wise the fights that they were having before they decided to part ways like that's what I'm most curious about and I'm hopeful I mean I'm assuming she's also going to get dive into her family life she's been very open on her podcast about how she has a strange relationship with her father I don't even think from my recollection from when I last listened to her which was probably 2022 she like hadn't met her dad or I don't know she like just didn't know her dad
55:13Colton Underwood:yeah uh I am very hopeful also like I know I'm like well what else is there to say I think there will, I mean, if she's smart, which I think she is, she will include some new tidbits in there that we don't already know, which I'm excited for. I think that it's time that she lays it all out there, tells her side of the story. And I think that a memoir is actually a really good medium for that. Like, I know a lot of people are like, oh my god, I thought it was gonna be a documentary. I thought it was gonna be this. And it's like, no, I actually love the idea that it's a memoir. I think that, you know, there's gonna be some good stuff in there.
55:46Colton Underwood:I hope at least.
55:47Sofia Franklyn:Yeah, I, a little bit of a spoiler alert, but in two days, we're going to release a Hillary and Haley Duff episode. And I had to sit through a call her daddy interview that Alex did with Hillary Duff. And really, her interview skills have not improved. Like if your whole shtick, and your whole job is to interview people, take a class or read some books on how to become a better interviewer. It really is just so service level. Question answer, question answer, softball questions. I don't know how she's so successful.
56:17Colton Underwood:like i i mean i have my thoughts we say it all the time but yeah it's like actually so frustrating you'll be listening to an interview which by the way we talked about this on this episode that comes out on thursday how christy will do the dirty work of listening to call her daddy for the sake of snark bait i will listen to the bio files for the sake of snark bait i cannot i can't do
56:37Sofia Franklyn:both i can only handle one right 100 it's painful it really is painful and i think it's ironic and this is the last I'll say about the Sophia Alex thing. It's ironic that Alex blamed Sophia for their divorce because she put all of their future success into the hands of suit man. When I think Alex Cooper's husband, Matt Kaplan is heavily, heavily the reason why Alex Cooper is so successful. Like I'm not saying men are successful or are the reason for women's success. But I do think in Alex Cooper's case, Matt Kaplan plays a very large role in her ability to get into these doors,
57:13Colton Underwood:like get into these rooms yeah that was evident we did a patreon episode about the alex cooper documentary on hulu and that was very evident from the docu series so we're not just like pulling
57:24Sofia Franklyn:that out of our asses no totally it's very clear that he runs the show he literally ran the entire
57:29Colton Underwood:live show yeah but i mean like from what i have heard again i i cannot listen to color daddy i have actually listened to a few interviews in the past of people that i just really wanted to hear the interview but like she will ask a question there will be a really really really interesting answer that is just begging for follow-up questions and then nothing it's down to the next bullet point and i know we've said it a million times it's just like so freaking annoying
57:53Sofia Franklyn:it's so frustrating just being in the podcasting space and being a tiny tiny show it's like she has work ethic and i will give her that she works very hard and she's a lot of it is self-taught but when it comes to just like who she is as a creator a lot of it's just like hmm well it's like the
58:07Colton Underwood:format of her show now is just interviewing celebrities like i think that she the original call her daddy format was two girls kind of like our show like two girls going back and forth obviously they talked about like sex more than we do but um you know i think that in terms of like banter and and you know having a lot of energy on the mic great she's good at that but interviewing celebrities the current format that she has does not seem to be her strength and it's just really confusing yeah but um yeah i'm very interested in hearing what sophia has to say yeah it's long
58:40Sofia Franklyn:overdue like i want to see a long form version of this not just like the five minute tidbit that we
58:45Colton Underwood:got on her episode yeah uh okay let's get into our dark energy objects one of mine is youtube shorts we were talking about this with henry because henry i forgot what it was trademarks oh yeah
58:59Sofia Franklyn:yeah i think we talked about this on thursday too we talked about it on thursday how like when
59:05Colton Underwood:you file a trademark suddenly all these scam companies will reach out to you and be like you owe two thousand dollars for this patent and it's hard to decipher sometimes and henry keeps sending like youtube videos and like youtube shorts on like how to decipher like trademark scams and it's just so funny how like i feel like only straight men watch youtube shorts no 100 why is
59:27Sofia Franklyn:that like i i it is truthful and i don't get why youtube shorts is like the median for men
59:35Craig Conover:medium not median uh yeah almost the median the middle for men i don't get it either i don't watch
59:45Sofia Franklyn:youtube shorts whatsoever i'm a tiktok early through and through i think reels to me is the real dark horse though people that post exclusively to reels like there's there's something something
59:56Colton Underwood:psychologically there yeah uh yeah i would say that instagram reels probably is just above youtube shorts on the dark energy scale as in youtube shorts there's something deeply nefarious about them yeah like i just i just don't like who is scrolling youtube shorts other than street men and baby snarks if you love youtube shorts please i know you will let us know in the comments
1:00:19Craig Conover:i can already picture the comments no totally just for your information it's like no no if you
1:00:25Sofia Franklyn:you're a baby snarking you watch youtube shorts we're not we're not shitting we're not judging
1:00:28Colton Underwood:you i just don't get it met i've never met anyone besides straight men who like youtube shorts and that's why it just seems like such a different world to me yeah i just don't i don't get it but like yeah let us know i know you guys will and we love when you let us know um my other dark energy object i already talked about the gross snowy drippage in new york so you already know how i feel about that um i always feel disgusted i love fast food you guys i'm from the midwest like i I my comfort meals include McDonald's, Taco Bell, even living in New York when, you know, we have the most amazing restaurants in the world.
1:01:03Colton Underwood:I still love me some McDonald's, Taco Bell. I love Arby's. Arby's is like the darkest. Oh, I love Arby's. Guys, roast beef with horsey sauce, those curly fries.
1:01:13Sofia Franklyn:Arby's to me is just like the fast food restaurant that we just always would like drive by. We're like, oh, I guess there's Arby's.
1:01:19Colton Underwood:No, like my family loves Arby's. Like we would do the drive-thru and be like, yeah, like let's get our rebese today. Like driving with my parents and like my sister. Roast beef with horsey sauce. Don't knock it till you try it with curly fries and a milkshake. Okay.
1:01:34Sofia Franklyn:I do love curly fries.
1:01:35Colton Underwood:Oh my God. They're so fucking good. Anyway, my point is I love fast food. I, there will be moments when I will save fast food in the fridge. It's not often. It's not often. I feel disgusting. The other night we got Chick-fil-A and it was just like, it's not, this is not a regular thing for me. I don't want to act like my diet consists of like Chick-fil-A and McDonald's all the time.
1:01:54Sofia Franklyn:It's like, you know, when I'm in the mood for a little treat.
1:01:57Colton Underwood:So we got Chick-fil-A the other night. The mac and cheese, I love Chick-fil-A mac and cheese, by the way. It's like the best mac and cheese. It came in like a huge container. I don't know why they gave us such a large serving, but we saved it in the fridge. And then Henry and I looked at each other. We were like, should we like put this like in a different container? So it's not the Chick-fil-A container in our fridge.
1:02:18Sofia Franklyn:I would be too lazy. I wouldn't.
1:02:19Colton Underwood:No, we did. We put it in a different container.
1:02:21Sofia Franklyn:That's like a dull of you.
1:02:22Colton Underwood:No, because we were like, that's like really embarrassing to like save Chick-fil-A mac and cheese. Like it's something about saving fast food just feels wrong.
1:02:30Sofia Franklyn:Yeah, yeah, yeah. I get, I'm not trying to be like, I just like, I only eat like really if I eat fast food like in and out is like my fucking jam. But you know, that's gone before I even, you know, you'll blink. It's gone.
1:02:41Colton Underwood:Well, you're not from the Midwest. I feel like there is like a culture in the Midwest of just loving fast food.
1:02:48Sofia Franklyn:Oh, okay. Okay. Yeah.
1:02:50Colton Underwood:And maybe that's like a stereotype, but that was my experience at least. Like I feel like, and I live on the East Coast now. I'm married to someone from the East Coast. His family does not have the same relationship with fast food as my family.
1:03:01Sofia Franklyn:Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. We didn't really eat fast food growing up, but McDonald's was probably the most, the biggest staple, I would say. Plus In-N-Out.
1:03:07Colton Underwood:Cheesy bean and rice burrito from Taco Bell. I have saved it. Taco Bell 2. And I know, and I know how disgusting that is. Like I fully understand how disgusting it is. There's something that feels so wrong. Like it just doesn't feel right to save fast food in the fridge.
1:03:22Sofia Franklyn:No, that's fair.
1:03:23Colton Underwood:What's yours? Do you have one?
1:03:25Sofia Franklyn:Well, you know, I'm going to be honest. I didn't fill one out because I was so fucking flustered yesterday at the hotel when we got in at midnight. And I had two rooms and one of them was a scary murder room that I'm currently sitting in. So I guess it would be, this sounds so rowdy. I'm not even going to say it. You guys already know. It's this room. I just don't like it.
1:03:42Colton Underwood:In your hotel room. Like I just don't like it. Okay. It's my opinion. You know what's DE is walking around a hotel room in socks and then the bottom of your socks are black. Oh, God. Oh. That's happened to me before.
1:03:55Sofia Franklyn:I have so – I actually do have like a dark energy object. But you know what? It's not even safe for me to say it. Okay.
1:04:01Colton Underwood:Don't say it. Just don't.
1:04:02Sofia Franklyn:No, it's not like bad or like problematic. It's more like some people are fucked, man.
1:04:07Colton Underwood:You know? What does that mean?
1:04:10Sofia Franklyn:Like some people are such liars and horrible people and I'll leave it at that. Who are you talking about? No, as people in like my personal life, I just like, no, just cheating. Cheating is so bad. That's what I will say.
1:04:22Colton Underwood:Oh, yeah.
1:04:23Sofia Franklyn:I told Sophie about this. Cheating.
1:04:24Colton Underwood:There's like a cheating, cheater.
1:04:26Sofia Franklyn:Pumpkin eater.
1:04:27Colton Underwood:Cheating, cheating scandal in Christy's real life.
1:04:30Sofia Franklyn:Yeah. Yeah. It's just like, just don't do it. Just be single.
1:04:33Colton Underwood:Just be single.
1:04:34Sofia Franklyn:Yeah, exactly. And don't do it when you have a huge family. Like, please.
1:04:38Colton Underwood:At least Zayn Malik had the foresight to say, you know what? I just want to be single because then I can hook up with whoever I want.
1:04:46Sofia Franklyn:Yeah. Literally, do it like Zayn. Yeah. Do it like Zayn. Don't go out and cheat on your significant other. Just please.
1:04:53Colton Underwood:Yeah. Don't do it, you guys. And I know that Baby Snarks listening to us. You guys aren't cheaters. You guys never. No, we already know that. Never. So my light energy object is I've been binging old Roni. And I'm having the time of my life. I'm actually on Scary Island right now in season three. I forgot how evil Jill Zarin was to Bethany. Hi. Surprise. Hi. Hi. Surprise. Yeah, no, she sucks.
1:05:22Sofia Franklyn:And it's crazy because we both have acknowledged we loved her in the early seasons. Like she was our favorite. But it's funny now looking at it with like you're now older. You're like, she sucks.
1:05:31Colton Underwood:In retrospect, especially in season three. Like she is just so bitter and miserable and jealous. She like cannot be happy for people. yeah and it's such a horrible trait to have i remember that watching it and being like i'm team bethany on this one my god yeah bethany was like the underdog that we were all rooting for
1:05:50Sofia Franklyn:dude bethany was such a fucking good housewife she was and she was like so funny she was so funny and so smart how likable she was like no she was she was the best like i genuinely feel like roni is like a warm hug like old school roni that's what i've been feeling like it just feels like
1:06:08Colton Underwood:cozy to watch and have on in the background even when I'm like not fully paying attention. So this is your reminder. If you haven't rewatched Roni in a while, or if you haven't watched Roni at all, go back and watch it.
1:06:21Sofia Franklyn:You will not regret it. It's genuinely such good. That's probably my favorite Housewives franchise of all time.
1:06:27Colton Underwood:Yeah. You've said that before.
1:06:29Sofia Franklyn:Yeah. It's so good.
1:06:30Colton Underwood:Yeah. Honestly, like I, I would say that my favorite Housewives franchises are not my favorite i don't have a favorite housewife franchise today i probably salt lake city actually but my favorite housewives franchises were all of the season the early season yeah
1:06:45Sofia Franklyn:yeah because i was before glam that's when everything changed beverly hills that show cinema yeah early seasons of real housewives of beverly hills are amazing but i am watching this current season don't ask me why i don't know why i'm watching this trash it is truly a tragedy what they have done to this franchise don't get me started on amanda francis and her weird mlm diary re-entry manifestation course that she sells for like$45 ,000. It's really weird.
1:07:09Colton Underwood:I stopped watching after like three episodes and I was very much enjoying Rachel Zoe, but I was like, I have too much on my plate.
1:07:15Sofia Franklyn:She's, she's good. I, she's the only saving grace. They got to get rid of Kyle. I low key like Erica. Don't come for me guys. Like I love Erica in the past couple seasons. Kyle's got to go. Like she's got to go.
1:07:27Colton Underwood:I can't believe you like Erica.
1:07:28Sofia Franklyn:No, me and my mom like love Erica.
1:07:30Colton Underwood:Erica, speaking of the downfall of housewives because of glam, I blame Erica for that erica was the one who brought the i i always need to be glammed on camera these ladies say they
1:07:44Sofia Franklyn:don't uh they don't need glam you have enough money to do a private jet you can definitely
1:07:49Colton Underwood:like i actually blame erica jayton for the downfall of housewives personally i think for
1:07:54Sofia Franklyn:beverly hills for sure like before she came on it was like yolanda kim and brandy that was like the last good wind of Beverly Hills.
1:08:02Colton Underwood:God, those were the freaking glory days. My dream team. My team. The dream team. Oh, Yolanda.
1:08:11Sofia Franklyn:When she brought Andrea Botticelli to the restaurant. Andrea Botticelli.
1:08:17Colton Underwood:I love how I only know Andrea Botticelli from reality show. Cardassians.
1:08:22Sofia Franklyn:Yolanda. Who had Andrea Botticelli at her wedding? I did.
1:08:25Colton Underwood:Me. Who got married in Italy. I did.
1:08:27Sofia Franklyn:Talk about Courtney.
1:08:29Colton Underwood:Anyway, you guys, I feel like this is too much.
1:08:32Sofia Franklyn:Like we're
1:08:33Colton Underwood:like this entire episode has been us being, um, the movie split from 2016.

1:11:57Colton Underwood:i've become so much more of an ingredient stickler as i've gotten older like what exactly am i putting in my body and now that i'm reading the ingredients why does everything have high fruit, those corn syrup in it. Well, baby snarks. That's exactly why I'm newly obsessed with thrive market. Thrive market is a subscription service that makes grocery shopping and making healthy swaps. So easy and convenient. 1:14:03Colton Underwood:Is there any better feeling in the entire world than getting into a clean bed after an amazing relaxing night shower and turning on old roni? No. And as I've gotten older, I've realized luxury bedding is something you truly don't appreciate until you sleep in it. But like, who has the money to spurge on bedding in this economy? Good news, you don't have to. And that's all thanks to Quince. When it comes to Quince, you'll notice the difference right away. From duvet covers and quilts to sheets and 100 % silk pillowcases, Quince bedding is so soft, lightweight, and you can instantly feel how high quality it is.
1:14:38Colton Underwood:Breathable bamboo, European linen, organic cotton, stripes, florals, limited edition butter yellow. Whatever your preference, Quince has it. I love our Percale gingham duvet cover and how chic and soft it is. I literally feel like I'm crawling into a hotel bed every night, but for a fraction of the cost of other luxury bedding. That's because Quince cuts out the middleman. Don't settle for scratchy and stiff sheets. Right now, get free shipping on your order and 365 day returns when you go to quince.com slash snarkbait. That's a full year to decide if you love them. And honestly, you will. Now available in Canada too.

1:15:22Colton Underwood:After years of really not caring about my health as much as I should, one of my goals this year is to finally change that.
1:15:54Colton Underwood:You can even add MRI and chest CT imaging, and it's all tracked in one secure place. It's the kind of comprehensive view of your health that most people never get access to. There's a reason function is backed by top US doctors like neuroscientist Dr. Andrew Huberman and cardiovascular surgeon Dr. Jeremy London. I definitely feel like my memory and my neurons aren't as sharp as they used to be, and function of health has taught me what's happening in your brain reflects what's happening across your entire body. Things like inflammation, blood sugar regulation, nutrient levels, sleep quality, vascular health, all influence how your brain performs today and over time.
1:16:26Colton Underwood:So if you're not measuring those systems, you're guessing. So stop guessing what's going on with your body and mind and start actually measuring. Start by understanding what's happening beneath the surface. Own your health for$365 a year. That's a dollar a day. Learn more and join Function using our link. Visit www.functionhealth.com slash snarkbait or use gift code SNARKBATE25 for a$25 credit toward your membership.
