Guest backgrounds
Sophie and Jordan (producer) host; Jordan is a pop-culture/celebrity gossip fan and fills in for Christy.
Key claims
Hannah Berner allegedly didn’t pay comedian Kim Congdon ~$10,000 for joke writing and has a history of joke-stealing accusations; Alex Earl claims/insinuates Alex Cooper wouldn’t compensate her fairly and blocked her opportunities; Skims’ “collagen-infused” jaw wrap is misleading because collagen can’t meaningfully penetrate skin and effects are likely only temporary compression; Scheana’s NYT “dagger” suggests bulk buying; And Just Like That is ending after season 3 due to cancellation.
Notable examples
Kim Congdon’s “worm dancing cunt” clue and “Jewy writers” remark; Alex Earl’s “how much time do you have?” response to questions about her feud; dermatologist critique of Skims’ jaw wrap; Scheana screenshot covering the NYT dagger; Aiden vs. Big discussion and show tone/wardrobe changes.

Automatic transcript. May contain errors.0:00Sophie Ross:Hey guys, welcome back to Snarkbait. It's the best day of the week. Dark Energy Tuesday. I'm Sophie. I'm Jordan. We are here with a very special guest filling in for Christy who we miss very much, but Jordan, our producer is filling in and we had so much fun. We talked about the Hannah Burner joke drama that's happening. Alex Earl versus Alex Cooper skims jaw cloth, whatever the fuck that is. Sheena Shea making the New York Times bestseller list with a dagger. The ending and potential cancellation of And Just Like That. Ghislaine Maxwell joining Jen Cha and Elizabeth Holmes in the same prison.
0:41Sophie Ross:Definition of dark energy. And then our dark energy objects and light energy objects of the week. Are you ready, Jordan? Let's do it. Let's get into it.
1:03Sophie Ross:Hi, Jordan. Hi, Sophie. How are you feeling? Are you ready for this? I'm like nervous. I have stage fright. Don't be nervous. We've got you. The baby snarks are very excited to hear from Jordan, our producer, the woman, the myth, the legend. And you guys, Jordan was a baby snark before she became our producer. She is just as obsessed with pop culture, celebrity gossip, influencer gossip, all of the things we talk about on this show. So she is very more than equipped to handle this role, stepping in for Christy. Thank you. How was your weekend, Jordan? It was good. It was finally not 100 degrees and 100 degrees humidity or 100 whatever it is.
1:51Yeah, 100%. 100%. Dumb and dumber. Dumb and dumber. Literally.
1:57Sophie Ross:We have a new dumb in the house. I'm still dumber no matter what. We have a new dumb and it's me. I'm just kidding. No, but it was good. Spent a lot of time outside. Just kind of like caught up from the week. Rested. How was yours? Is your down the shore? Yeah, I am down the shore this weekend celebrating my gorgeous, amazing nephew's you's fourth birthday. It was so much fun. We spent the day at the beach today. And last night, I actually added this list of dark energy objects. We went to the rainforest cafe in Atlantic city. Love that place. I love it. I had a lot of good memories there. For some reason, it doesn't hit the same.
2:40Sophie Ross:Maybe it's because I'm now like in my thirties, I'm like an adult, but also like, it's just, it's very overwhelming. Like you have the lights and the sounds, and the animatronic animals. And like, you know, I love a frozen cocktail. Like that's, I do shine at any institution that has a frozen cocktail. I got a rainbow colada, loved it. Otherwise it's like the food leaves a lot to be desired. And like, I hate talking crap about, you know a place that's for kids. It's not for me anyway. Yeah. But like, I actually was really excited and I felt a little bit not let down. I still had a lot of fun actually but I was like wow this is not as exciting as I remember when I was a child didn't hit like it it was yeah it was just like overwhelming I think it's like when they do like the the the show warm no my god yeah that's the show to me that's the show yeah I was like oh my god this is scary like the lights are flashing it's like overstimulating yes overstimulating is the word I'm looking for I don't even know how I did that when I was little because like I can't deal with anything scary.
3:47And yeah, I was like, take me to the rainforest cafe. Like, so jealous. It was an
3:53Sophie Ross:experience for sure. You know what? Like kids love it though. So if you have kids, highly recommend just remembering the fact that rainforest cafe exists. Um, if it's just you and your girlfriends or you and your spouse or whoever it is, maybe, maybe find another, maybe hit up TGI Fridays. that is a chain for adults is it do they have like special drinks i mean or like fridays is just the best i'm obsessed with tgi fridays i can't tell you the last time i went to a tgi fridays don't even know where you're located you're missing out we actually stopped into one when we were in tokyo on our honeymoon they had one in tokyo yeah in the harajuku district if you're wondering.
4:35Yeah.
4:36Sophie Ross:So anyway, you guys, I guess let's get into it. Enough Rainforest Cafe talk. I want to start with this really interesting situation that's happening on the internet with Hannah Berner. Did you see this? It's crossed my path on a couple subreddits now. Yeah. I only had really heard about it when you guys brought it up in the group chat, the snarkbait group chat. Otherwise, like I didn't know, but I feel like I've heard rumors in the past when they were going on tour and she was getting the specials. I think that was when she like got her Netflix special. People were like, she steals jokes. Why does she have a Netflix special?
5:16But she has, she has.
5:18Sophie Ross:Yeah. So just for background, first of all, yes, she has been long accused of stealing jokes, dating back to when she would just tweet jokes on Twitter. Yes. She would, she would literally verbatim copy jokes on Twitter. And a lot of people say that a lot of her material, her standup material is like recycled, like millennial girl memes that are like touch my butt and feed me pizza type of humor. That's just like, they're just like silly internet jokes that aren't that it's not like a real standup material that that is what people have accused her of. I will say that like, congratulations to Hannah Burner on all of her success.
5:56Sophie Ross:She is clearly very successful. Her and Paige were just on Jimmy Fallon again this past week. She, again, like you said, has a Netflix special. She has clearly found so much success, so many fans. So don't want to disparage that. But that was interesting that on this podcast, The Bonfire, or it's actually a Sirius XM show that also you can listen to it on like Spotify's podcast. Comedian Kim Congdon accused Hannah of basically using her services as a joke writer. So Kim wrote standup jokes for Hannah. And apparently it was like a few thousand. It was like$10 ,000 that she owed Kim for the joke writing that she did and apparently never paid.
6:41Sophie Ross:She alluded to that she did not name Hannah, but gave lots of clues like she was on reality TV, who she's married to. Her husband, Des, is a comedian. Also, she said something about like a worm dancing cunt. And Hannah is known for doing the worm on stage. Yeah, like basically just say her name at that point. Yeah, exactly. So everyone put two and two together that it was Hannah Berger, but basically accused Hannah of not paying her for her services and alluded to the fact that maybe Hannah thought the jokes didn't land and thought it wasn't worth the money, which is kind of crazy. And then Hannah apparently doubled down on not paying Kim, got Netflix involved, threatened to ruin Kim's reputation.
7:27Sophie Ross:Basically, it's it's been more or less confirmed that it's about Hannah. And this is pretty damning. Like, what do you think of this, Jordan? I mean, I think it speaks for itself if she's getting like other people involved to defend herself, quote unquote. like that seems a little off and a little fishy to me. Like also if you didn't pay someone like that's such a bad book, just say it upfront. Like, especially if you're going to be in the news about it and it's like obvious that it's about her. Yeah. Yeah. And I think that like, I don't know a whole lot about the comedy world, but apparently it's not like the most uncommon thing.
8:11Sophie Ross:It's not unheard of. for like, you know, at roasts and stuff. Oh, yeah. It's not like Martha Stewart wrote her roast for whoever it was, Justin Bieber, whenever she did the Comedy Central roast. Like comedians have writers. They have writers' rooms. Yeah. So like, in that sense, I would get it. But if it's, there's no big deal about giving her credit. Give credit where it's due, if that is the case. Right. But I think in general, stand-up comedians, like if you are a stand-up comedian, and you are going on stage, it is assumed that these standup comedians are writing their own material. I think where writer's rooms get involved, maybe it's for Netflix specials or for like Comedy Central roasts, like things like that.
8:54Sophie Ross:But I think you assume, I don't know, correct me if I'm wrong, you guys, please. I don't know enough about the comedy world or standup comedy. I think also the other thing is that Hannah was like, she was like, the jokes didn't land. They weren't good jokes. And it's like, well, and Kim Congdon said on the podcast, She was like, well, like you didn't listen to me on how to deliver them to make them funny. And Kim also says that she does not mind being behind the scenes, being this writer who contributes jokes for other comedians. Like she's fine with that. It was just the fact she just cares about not getting her money.
9:28Sophie Ross:She also said something that I thought was interesting. And again, I would love to know if I'm misconstruing this because I ended up listening to the segment on the podcast about it where she said, I don't want to be in a room with a bunch of Jewy writers. she said Jewy Jewy comedy writers on this podcast so I was like wait okay is this a situation of like everyone sucks here because what do you mean by that and Jordan our producer is also like me a Jewish woman and I was like am I am I like overreacting I didn't see anyone online taking any offense that I was like wait is it just me who who picked up on her saying Jewy writers and like a derogatory saying I don't want to be in a room with a bunch of Jewy comedy writers I don't, I thought I was crazy.
10:09Sophie Ross:Like what the fuck is that supposed to mean? Did I mishear it? You guys like, please go listen to this. I can post the timestamp. So you don't have to listen the whole episode on our Instagram story. And you can go listen for yourself and hear Kim's own words. And then also hear her say, Jewy comedy writers in a, in a kind of derogatory way. I don't know. I felt like I was going crazy. I personally thought that was offensive, but like, I don't know. I think maybe this is a situation of everyone sucks here, but correct me if I'm wrong. I mean, I hadn't even heard that until you brought it up and like I'm offended.
10:43That's fucked up. What is the point that you're trying to prove there at that? But she said it in like a negative way too. It wasn't like, right. It's like very condescending.
10:53Sophie Ross:There's no scenario in which you're describing something as Jewy. And it's like, that's not how you like compliment a Jewish person. Jewy. It's always like a derogatory. Yeah. Like why? For what? But also, I want to go back to what you were saying. It reminded me of Hacks, which I know you've watched, right? I have not. You've never watched Hacks? Everyone yells at me. Everyone yells at me about not watching Hacks. I know. Oh, my God. Everyone yells at me. You have to watch Hacks. But it reminded me because the main – the woman, oh, my God, Jean Smart, that's who is in Hacks. Yeah. She is a stand-up comic, even though she also – in the latest season, she has her own late-night show.
11:33But like obviously that's a writer's room. But when she was doing that, she was a standup comic and she was going on tour. And the whole like plot and premise of the show is it's this dynamic between Gene Smart's character and Hannah Einbinder's character. And Hannah Einbinder plays Gene Smart's writer. So they're like in the right – they don't have a writer's room per se. But it's the two of them writing the material for Gene Smart's character to go on stage and perform for standup. So like it's not unheard of. Yeah, it's not unheard of. But I think there's probably a lot of people who have some sort of quote unquote writer's room people to be there and support and like give them ideas for stand up.
12:17Like I'm sure even like I'm sure Chelsea Handler has someone that helps write jokes in that kind of sense. But people like that are usually given credit. Yeah. Rather than like I did this all by myself.
12:30Sophie Ross:I think that the scandal is twofold. I think it's the fact that a Hannah didn't pay a woman, another female comic for her work. She is due$10 ,000. Like I would be fucking pissed. Like obviously like she, Kim said that she decided to just let it go. She was like, I'm just going to let it go. Obviously I'm still pissed, but I'm not going to like legally pursue this. She's not letting it go enough. We're like, she's not going to shut the fuck up. Yeah, exactly. So I think it's, it's part that. And then I think the other aspect of it is that this is obviously not the first time that Hannah Berner has been accused of stealing material, not writing her own material.
13:08Sophie Ross:So you kind of look at her and it's like, well, like, what what are you good at then? It's like if you if you've like made it, she obviously has amassed up so much success. And it's like, well, if you if you're not writing the jokes and you're not telling them particularly well, then like what is what's the talent? here. What are you doing? Yeah. Yeah. It's kind of like that. And Olivia, our researcher actually brought this up in our group chat, which I thought was a good comparison. It was the fact that it's very similar to Alex Cooper, where it's like, just because you're loud and a little like inappropriate doesn't make you like a comedy genius.
13:46Sophie Ross:But I don't know. Again, gigglers don't come for me. I know that you guys love her. You're allowed to love her. Oh, and her Wikipedia page was briefly updated with the scandal very briefly and then already removed. I hope that shit happens. Yeah. Yeah. Me too. I think in general, like I have always just hated when people, because I have been in a situation where my tweets have been not like plagiarized, but an Instagram page will post them without crediting me. Yeah. And it's, it's kind of the same thing. That's what she did for years and years and years when she was coming up on the internet And like it always grinded my gears and they're just, there's a lot of things about Hannah burner that I'm not a huge fan of as someone that has watched summer house.
14:31Sophie Ross:You have too. I mean, there's so much to say, but I think hack. Yeah. It's giving a hack just a little bit, just a little bit. Speaking of Alex Cooper, can you explain how Alex Earl responded to a comment? I guess this past weekend. Yeah. So I saw, and I think we brought it up also on our chat, but I saw this weekend that someone commented on Alex Earle's, a TikTok that Alex Earle posted. I don't think it was like anything specific about Alex Cooper. But basically what happened is she, someone commented being like, what are you going to talk about what happened with Alex Cooper? Like not even saying, we know you had a feud or like, we know you had a falling out.
15:17Just like what happened? And she responded, how much time do you have? So now everyone's like, okay, what the fuck happened? We need to know because now that she's actually addressing and confirming that something went on or something went down between them and they had what I'm assuming a not very good split or a not amicable separation. There's all the speculation of like what really happened. And what did Alex Cooper do to Alex Earl? Because it doesn't appear that it would be the opposite.
15:59Sophie Ross:This episode is sponsored by BetterHelp. As you guys know, Christy and I have both struggled with our mental health, and it can feel so overwhelming. Just a few weeks ago, you all gave amazing recommendations that were super helpful, from acupuncture to meditating, gratitude journals, screen detoxing. there are so many effective ways to reduce anxiety, but the most effective way, in my opinion, is to talk to someone. I've gone to therapy for years, and there truly is no better way to process things, learn coping skills, recover from trauma. Therapy has helped me more than I could ever express, and I don't know a single person who wouldn't benefit from it.
16:34Sophie Ross:But therapy isn't always accessible, which is why BetterHelp is an amazing tool. So I always want to look appropriate for zoom calls and recordings while also being first and foremost comfortable. And that's why I'm so happy I finally discovered Honey Love. I'm obsessed with the crossover bra. It's wire free, but still so supportive thanks to its special bonding technology, which is so perfect for me. It's the softest fabric I literally forget I'm wearing it and it disappears under t-shirts and all my tops.
17:43Sophie Ross:It literally lives up to the hype, you guys. I'd heard so much about Honey Love from so many people, but I didn't truly understand until I tried for myself. And for when I do want to leave the house, I love their shapewear too. Their superpower thong like sucks me in while also being so comfortable sans panty lines. And it doesn't fall down when I'm like dancing and running around like other shapewear does. We also love that Honey Love is an independent, female-founded brand. The products are designed by women for women. They truly get us over at Honey Love. They're for the girlies. Treat yourself to the most advanced bras and shapewear on the market.

18:43Sophie Ross:Yeah, so I recently got some tea and it's kind of, I mean, it basically confirms, I feel like, what we already sort of know, which is that Alex Cooper was basically not willing to pay or compensate Alex Earl for what she was worth or allow her to thrive in a way that Alex Earl should be able to thrive. That's a double standard. Yeah. And even when we, when that first came out that Alex Earl was signing with Unwell, it's like, well, you don't need Unwell. Unwell needs you. Like you are the bigger name here. You're the bigger star. Like what was ever kind of a benefit of falling under Alex Cooper's umbrella when Alex Earl is bigger than Alex Cooper.
19:27Sophie Ross:Yeah. It just like, it makes you think about everything that Alex Cooper talks about, like lifting up women, elevating different voices when it's like you were able to get this powerhouse of Alex Earl onto your network, which she didn't need to do. As you said, she's a big enough personality where she can be on her own, have her own podcast, do her own thing and be fine because people will flock to her and people will, she will get the views. But the fact that like now all this is kind of coming out or starting to come out, it really just makes Alex Cooper look like a hypocrite because how are you going to stop someone from like getting your bag or like getting all these opportunities or having equal pay, getting paid what she's deemed to be worth.
20:12And then she's just like not practicing what she's preaching, it seems. And to me, it's just like icky because it's like, well, are you jealous of Alex Earl? Which also, there's no reason to be jealous of her. Like you both each have, they each have their own empire, have their own fans. They're very different in what they talk about and what they post. They're two completely different personalities at this point. I think they were similar in the sense where it's like the blonde bimbo quote unquote type of look and talking about sex, but that was it. And like, they both have kind of veered off into their own paths.
20:50Oh, totally. Yeah. But it's like, what was it that just like made her jealous of Alex Earl, if it's even that, or just be like not giving her the opportunities that she might be allowing the other creators that Unwell get. And I'm sure it pissed her off when she got, when Alex Earl got like that Super Bowl ad
21:11Sophie Ross:for, I forgot what it was called. It was a hamburger. Poppy? Not Poppy. I think it was like some hamburger brand. I don't remember. I don't know. but she also, I read and take this with a grain of salt. Cause I can't even remember where I read it. Like probably read it. So Alex Earl, Jordan and I have not seen happy Gilmore too. Neither of us have seen happy Gilmore one, um, which I know is shocking. I'm sorry, but apparently Alex Earl makes a cameo in happy Gilmore too. And I read online that apparently, or maybe this was just a theory again, take this with a grain of salt. You guys, I cannot remember why this is in my brain.
21:53Sophie Ross:Someone said that perhaps, I think it was just a conspiracy theory. Perhaps Alex Cooper got jealous of Alex Earl getting, cause I think a hot mess podcast is mentioned in happy girl. It's not just Alex Earl. It's, I guess her podcast is mentioned and Alex Cooper theoretically was probably like, you're right. I see it on Reddit. I see the posts that you're talking about. Yeah. Okay. So do you want to read it for the class? Yeah. So this is from user suspiciouslet2671 on the Call Her Daddy subreddit. And she says, or they say, I think one of the major reasons was outs getting the opportunity to have hot mess in Happy Gilmore 2.
22:37So like if you think about it, production probably starts probably was like two years, a year, year and a half ago. So that I guess the fallout with hot mess was what? Within a year or six months ago. It was like six months ago, I feel like. Yeah. Alex either said no and wanted Alex to instead offer call her daddy to be in there, or she wanted a cut of the money made from it since hot mess is signed to unwell. I could see Alex Earl's management, aka her dad, saying absolutely not to this. Another theory is just based off of Alex Earl's success and other major business ventures, Super Bowl commercial, Carl's Jr.

23:13Girls, Sip Margs. Alex Earl gets invited to a lot of carpeted events and premieres and maybe Cooper does too, but doesn't go. But I don't think so. I think it's pure jealousy that tore that apart in greed.
23:25Sophie Ross:Yeah. And I mean, I think that like, it's not out of the realm of possibility to just assume that Alex Cooper, like you said, felt threatened and was like, I can't, I can't have another woman that I'm threatened of competing with me under my network. And I mean, like we saw it before with Sophia Franklin. I think, you know, it's kind of a pattern that she has. So I don't know. I would love for Alex Earl to eventually do a tell-all and hopefully she does. I know people were like, please go on Sophia with an F, which - That would be so funny. Incredible. It would be like, who can top this? Yeah, seriously.
24:06Sophie Ross:okay the next thing I want to talk about is did you see that okay so skims Kim Kardashian's brand came out with this like jaw shaping cloth it's like jaw shapewear for your jaw yeah what the actual fuck and I think immediately the internet was kind of like up in arms yeah because they've been called I think it was what's her name Jamila Jamil who called them foot and I don't agree with a lot of the shit she says but she called the Kardashians foot soldiers for the patriarchy which I has always stuck in my brain it's like the fact that they they prey on women's insecurities making up new insecurities for women to have in order to make money off of them like I oh my god And even I feel like I'm sort of like immune to that shit at this point.
25:00Sophie Ross:Even I was like, wait, do I like need to do something about my my double my jaw not being shaped of being, you know, sculpted enough? Like, do I need to do something about that? It's like they literally prey on women's insecurities. It's so fucking sick. They need women to hate themselves in order to make money. Collagen infused cloth. They said it's infused with collagen. Like, what does that mean? That's not a thing. collagen is not going to enter via your pores you can take collagen supplements it is not going to oh my god it is so collagen infused cloth is not a thing god it just pisses me off like how did that get made yeah it's understand and i'm pulling up i'm pulling up my phone because i follow a dermatologist on instagram and she posted she's she posted about this whole this whole thing and And she wrote, Skims just launched face shapewear, collagen-infused wrap that claims to sculpt your jaw.
25:58Here are my thoughts as a 30-year board-certified dermatologist. So she's saying that it can temporarily reduce puffiness by compressing the skin, but it's not going to lift, tighten, or reshape your face in any lasting way. And it won't meaningfully boost collagen. The shapewear is infused with collagen, but collagen on the skin can't rebuild collagen in the skin.
26:22Sophie Ross:Yeah. So the molecules are too large to penetrate the skin, which is why they must be injected to have full, meaningful, lasting effect. Or like you said, consuming collagen, like putting it in your smoothie or putting it in a drink. It doesn't hit the same. She said compression can also irritate the skin barrier if it's used too often, especially on delicate facial skin. There's no evidence that this helps with aging, firmness, or long-lasting skin health. I don't need to read the rest, but it also just looks like pantyhose strapped to your face and lifting it up. Like, that's what it looks like to me.
26:56It looks like anyone could make this. They could just, like, cut some holes.
27:00Sophie Ross:Oh, get some bandage cloth at CVS. That's what it looks like. It also apparently is, like, what women wear or men wear after facelifts. Yes. But they also will wear just, like, a wraparound bandage. It's not necessarily something that is face fitting. It's just a literal bandage that you wrap multiple times around your face and you pin it so it stays. Crazy. It's not even a cloth. Crazy. Did you also see that Skin, which is Kim Kardashian skincare brand, SKKN, shut down in June? I didn't see that. No. How crazy. Okay. I thought they were just like rebranding. No, they're like done. KKW Beauty was like, we're going to rebrand it.
27:47Sophie Ross:Then they never came back. Skin shut down in June. No one cared. No one like noticed. I saw it the other day somehow. I forgot where I saw it. I was going to say, how did you find out? Just like the other day. I think someone posted about it. I don't know. But how crazy is that? That no one fucking noticed that like a whole other Kardashian brand is like Dunzo. There's also a lot to be said about the disappearing Kardashian brands like Like for Kylie Swim. Please talk about this. Kylie Swim is like kind of my Roman empire. So we definitely will do like a Patreon episode in the future on the disappearing Kardashian brands because I'm fascinated by them.
28:26Sophie Ross:And also the disappearing Kardashian animals. Don't get me started. It's so upsetting. It's so upsetting. Where did Kylie's 800 dogs go? Where did Kendall's Great Dane go? Remember the Great Dane that would poop all over Chris's house? Didn't we talk about this the other day? And don't say it's a Doberman. She still has the Doberman. It was a different dog. It was a Great Dane, not a Doberman. And this Great Dane would poop all over Chris's house back when she lived in the black and white tile house. And Chris would have to pick up the poop because Kendall didn't want to take care of this dog.
28:59Sophie Ross:And now no one knows what happened to the dog. What happened to it? Or even like Chloe's gray cat that she would always post about. I feel like Chloe still has the cat. But I also unfollowed Chloe. So like I could be totally wrong with that accusation. But with all the other dogs or like Kim's dog, Sushi. Do you remember that? Like the big fluffy Pomeranian. Does she still have Sushi? I don't know. What about the cat that Kanye got her? The Persian looking cat? I remember and I don't know. I want to say that something, one of the pets Kanye got her passed away like pretty soon after. I wonder if it was that cat.
29:40Sophie Ross:it might have been okay in which case i feel sad for for terrible terrible that was not years ago it's not the animals that sadly pass away it's the ones that literally disappear yeah it's i mean i remember they were courtney would post it because i think courtney and kin got like dogs dogs yeah they were like pomeranians yeah and i think they were siblings so like uh north and penelope then like had this other special bond with their dogs. And now we've never seen, we haven't seen the dogs in years. And like, remember Kylie would always have like, why do I know this? Like Norman, I think. Oh, her little mini greyhounds or whippets, which I always have that if I didn't have a poodle, if I didn't have a poodle, I would have a whippet.
30:24Sophie Ross:I love the little skinny. They're so skinny and they have like, you put sweaters on them, like chunky sweaters in the winter. And I think they're so cute with their little, their little stick legs. They're so cute. Oh my But yeah, she apparently I read somewhere. You guys, this is this is such an episode of me being like, I read somewhere. Trust me, bro. I can't remember where I read it. But like I read on the Internet somewhere that Kylie has like a separate house for her dogs and she has like people take care of. No, she has like four, at least four mini greyhounds. I think she has more. And I feel like probably because I think I think one had puppies.
31:00Sophie Ross:Didn't she have dachshunds, too, at one point? Maybe. Maybe I just know that she had the mini greyhounds. I don't know about the dachshunds, but like, I believe it. And they very well could like Kim's dog sushi. They very well could still like Chloe's cat. I want to say, I feel like I've seen the cat somewhat recently. They very well could still have them and not be posting them. Yeah. But like Kylie has not posted her mini greyhounds in a really, really, really long time. It's concerning. I just wanted to update like people are invested. People were invested in her dogs. Norman Bambi like yes where are they like we're we're gonna we need to know are they okay it's like deeply disturbing forget about the brands this is the real like this is the real this is the real scandal but also Kylie Swim yeah but also like animal what's that place what is it like not the SPCA, but like.
31:54ASPCA? No, that like.
31:55Sophie Ross:In the arms of an angel. I'm going to cry. Also, but Kylie Baby. Like what happened to Kylie? I love how I keep circling back to the brands. I'm like, what happened to Kylie Baby? And Kylie. Wait, didn't she have like. Kylie Skin. Kylie Skin. Where are they? What happened to them? Anyway, you guys. Also, just so you guys know, I just thought of this that I feel like you guys would enjoy. Jordan, our producer, was in the city a couple weeks ago. So we got margaritas and then went back to my apartment and breaking HR violations all over the place. But I'm telling the story. My cousin, my like male cousin who's married, was staying over because he was in town for work.
32:47Sophie Ross:So he was staying in our second bedroom. and Jordan was staying. So it was like the four, it was me, Henry, my cousin, Nathan, shout out Nathan and Jordan. And we were like, Jordan, just stay over. Like you and Nathan can just like sleep together. Nathan's married. Nathan's married. And I was there with my boyfriend. And Jordan has a boyfriend. And also Nathan's wife is a baby snark. So hi, Krista. Remember she was like, oh, it's okay. She was like, it's fine. Yeah, we were based on you. She's like, yeah, she could sleep with him in the bed. It's totally fine. She's like, I don't care. Anyway, you guys, that was a random aside, but funny story.
33:26Sophie Ross:And I met Baxter IRL. Yeah. And Jordan says that Baxter lives up to the hype. You guys, he was so precious. He is just such a lovey. Like he's just one of those dogs that wants to be snuggled, wants to be held. He's kind of like, just like a rag doll. Like he, he just like wants to be held and just like, Oh my God, he's such a little angel. He was so cute. and he had chicken at dinner. Sophie didn't order food for herself. She ordered food for Baxter and then he immediately had diarrhea. Trust me, you guys. Like I do this. I get chicken completely unseasoned, no salt, no pepper. I, you know, make sure there's nothing on it, but it might've been like maybe the oil.
34:06Sophie Ross:They, boy, I have no idea how they prepared it. He had diarrhea instantly. Anyway, back to our conversation, our DT. Let's talk about Sheena Shea. making the New York Times bestseller list. Congratulations. Congratulations. Congratulations to Sheena Shea, Shishu. So very happy for you. There is a caveat though that she made the bestseller list with a dagger, the dagger of death, which means that there were copies bought in bulk. And did you notice her screenshot did not include the dagger? She put like a heart emoji on top of the dagger. I literally was like, why is there a yellow apple heart emoji on the New York Times bestseller list?
34:55And now it makes sense. I actually was covering up the dagger. It's like, they're not going to post an emoji with someone's name. That just doesn't happen.
35:04Sophie Ross:I literally thought the emoji was something that they typed in next to Sheena's name. Same. I thought that at first. And then I was like, something's off. Like, they're not just gonna put an emoji when like no one else has like why is she at a heart when no one else gets nothing and now I think it's because she was covering up the dagger that either was like next to her name or next to the book title so that's so much more embarrassing I'm sorry like you're calling attention to it that way I know it's so fun it's so it's so Sheena in her defense though. I've seen discourse about how this happened.
35:41Sophie Ross:Like you buy books in bulk when you do like book signings or go on a book tour. Right. So like it might be unavoidable if it's like a Bravo Liberty, like Sheena writing a book and going on, like promoting the book by doing book signings, I guess. I don't know. I don't know how this stuff works, but a lot of anything works clearly. Yeah. And I feel like that's the thing. It's like, well, if that's so common that I feel like they would all have daggers because like don't like most authors do like book signings and like promote their book somewhere yeah a lot do it's not just bravo liberties like saucy's saucy's book also had the dagger yeah i mean literally normal everyday authors do book signings and bestseller authors that you see like and you don't you don't see a dagger there so it's definitely a little suspicious and not great oh shishu but good for her good for her she wrote She got a book on the bestseller list, whether she bulk-buied or not.
36:39Sophie Ross:Yeah, I mean, she gets to call herself a New York Times bestseller. You guys know I've been all about transforming my space in 2026. So far, that's included house renovations, hiring a home organizer, etc., etc. Now I'm on to tackling my closet, because a huge part of having a calming, zen space is letting go of all the stuff I haven't worn in years. 39:11Sophie Ross:I also am staying firm in the fact that I do not want her on the valley. as much as I have enjoyed this whole press tour about Brock cheating on her and all of the details and all of the tea and the Rubik's cubes and all of that. I, I don't want Sheena on the Valley. So like, there's no part of it. It's not needed. Like we have enough, we have enough characters on the Valley. It is not necessary. I think that like, you know, it was obviously when the Valley was announced, Jax and Kristen were kind of the ones that we recognized because they were the ones from Vanderpump Rules, obviously. But now we're familiar with the rest of the cast.
39:55Sophie Ross:There are enough people that we feel excited to watch that we just don't, we don't need, you know, we certainly don't need Lala. I feel like Lala, everyone is kind of united and not wanting Lala. There are some people I think that would like to see the Sheena and Brock scandal unfold on the Valley. And it's like Sheena, Sheena had her chance on Vanderpump rules. She even admits it that like she was hiding that during the 11th season of Vanderpump. She had her chance. Sorry. Now it's like, I don't really care anymore. I don't. Now I know all the details. I don't care. Do you think that when season 11 of Vanderpump was filming that she like either brought it, like mentioned something to the producers and the producers were like, well, maybe we just focus on like the Ariana redemption arc and like the fallout of Scandaval or like she literally kept her mouth shut.
40:48Sophie Ross:Not according to her book. She she says apparently that she didn't want to take the spotlight away from Scandaval, which interesting. Yeah, right. She didn't make she made so much of it about herself. She was like, I'm David. What about me? I'm devastated. It's like, okay. It's like, at least make your lie believable, Sheena. You not wanting to take the spotlight? Please. It was more so, I think, that she didn't want to give viewers another reason to hate Brock because viewers did not like Brock and she wants her life to look a certain way to the viewers. And yeah, that is my theory at least. I guess she also says that she was going to hold out until season 12 to finally talk about it on Vanderpump And obviously that season 12 never happened.
41:41Sophie Ross:I mean, it's going to happen with a new cast, but yeah, she never got the chance to on Vanderpump. And obviously it goes without saying that she wants to be on the Valley now to tell the story, also be back on TV, whatever it is. And I am just not interested. And I've always been a Sheena defender. I've long been a Sheena defender and I've always enjoyed watching Sheena. I think she's reality TV gold. She's good as gold. I just, I don't see a fit for her on the Valley. I think the cast is good as is. And every time she has been on the Valley this season saying three words here and there, standing next to someone who's in a fight so she can be on camera, I cringe.
42:17Sophie Ross:She's a background actor. Like she's an extra. But going back to what you were saying, like I'm kind of surprised she didn't say to Ariana, like I've been through this. Like I know what you're going through. Like this happened to me like X amount of years ago and like this is how I coped with it. Or like you're not alone, just in that kind of sense, bringing it up. not even she didn't have to make it about her. She could have just been like, I've experienced this before and like it fucking sucks. But like, this is how you're going to get through it. Just kind of showing that she was there for her because Ariana clearly felt like she wasn't.
42:50Sophie Ross:Yeah, you would think that would have been a smart move for Sheena, but she's not capable of making smart moves ever on television or in life. Speaking of television, do you watch in just like that. Of course. It is literally the definition of trigger warning Ryan Bailey. So bad. It's good. Like it is so bad and I need it every single week. I can't live without it. I haven't caught. I didn't watch this week's episode yet, but spoiler alert. I think you talked about this last week, like good riddance. We've we're done with Aiden. It was so cringe, so dragged out. I'm sorry. I didn't really care about his kids.
43:31I didn't care about the family. That was stupid. That whole story. Oh, you didn't care about Wyatt? I didn't. I was like, let him go. I was like, let him go on his fucking wilderness camp outing. I could have cared less. It was a waste of time, a waste of story.
43:48Sophie Ross:It was. And I was so team Aiden over Big during the original run of Sex and the City because Aiden was Aiden is the safe choice. Yes. Big was the emotionally aloof one. Aiden was the Jeremiah and big was the Conrad for all the summer. I turned pretty fans out there, but I always thought she made a mistake letting Aiden go. Yeah. Now I'm like, no, you made the right decision. You knew better than me because Aiden never. And I see now Aiden never accepted her for who she was. he always tried to change her. And yeah, good fucking riddance to Aiden. So basically, they announced officially that season three is the final season.
44:32Sophie Ross:And they said in their statement, you know, we didn't want everything to feel so final. So we didn't announce it sooner. Apparently, they got canceled. And this happened, this announcement, when other shows got renewed. and just like that clearly found out they were not getting renewed. They were getting canceled. So now it's the last season, apparently, which actually surprises me because it is bad. It's a bad show. It's not well-written. It feels so, the tone is so different from the original Sex and the City. The characters are so different. They don't do things that the characters in Sex and the City would have done.
45:08Sophie Ross:They act so different. It's crazy. But I feel like the viewership, the numbers were there. If I had to guess, Like people still hate watch it. So many. I feel like a lot of podcasts I was listening to were still hate watching it. And we're like, it's so bad, but I can't get enough. I feel like Charlotte was still kind of Charlotte, just like a little bit more. I almost think it was actually like Kristen Davis hindering Charlotte. Like I feel like Kristen Davis forgot how to act. Yeah. Kristen Davis definitely forgot how to act, unfortunately. But I also feel like Charlotte, like what happened to I'm worth a million, Charlotte?
45:44Sophie Ross:Like now she's just like ditzy and goofy and like she's just so ditzy now in a way that I feel like she wasn't before. And also what is the storyline with LTW and Seema? Like we didn't need them. It could have been totally fine with just like the three women. We didn't need these side characters and their storylines that get woven in for five minutes of an entire episode. That's another thing that's just like didn't need a waste of time. It could have been put into like other aspects of the plot or like building up the original character. Yeah. And that's exactly why I feel like the show got canceled.
46:26Sophie Ross:Because what was LTW's like storyline this season if it wasn't going to pivot into something else next season? She had a hot editor. She had a hot editor that she had a crush on. She was making this documentary. Okay. Like what? where it hasn't gone anywhere this season. So it was clearly teeing up something for next season. I don't know. Who knows you guys? I'm sad about it personally. Like I'm sad, even though it is a fucking bad show. It's terrible. It's the worst show I've ever seen, but I've never loved anything more. Because it's so nostalgic. And it's giving us that old, it's not the vintage sex in the city that like we all know.
47:09It's nostalgia. It is. It's like it's nostalgia. It's like Carrie Bradshaw.
47:14Sophie Ross:Because I knew you, I have been changed for good. You're going to get bullied so much for singing on this. I know. Guys, I'm so sorry. Sometimes it's just necessary. It just happened. It's just it just happens. And I can't control it. It just comes out of me like I can't control it. So yeah. Sorry. Before we jump to the next topic I think I did see like part of the statement that they gave out about ending was they did it on apparently they knew they said they knew it was going to end and they made these last two episodes they they ordered two more episodes of the season so it ended with like a two-part finale thing and then the second thing is did you see that Kim Cattrall posted something like yeah after the news came out and it was something like what a week it's been yeah it was like a sunset Yeah.
48:08Sophie Ross:So dramatic. Oh, my God. It's so funny. I've seen so many like jokes on Twitter about how like it should it should end with Samantha coming back and like just shooting everyone, like killing everyone. I would love it. Like Samantha came back and then they did a whole thing for Samantha. Wait, someone someone on Twitter was like, it should end with that one lady's dad dying for a third time. because remember there's been so much criticism about ldw's dad he died already twice he died twice the writers forgot they already killed him that's bad how do you forget that how do you forget that because these writers are not good i'm sorry they're not they're not but the thing is i'm pretty sure it's like the same writer from the original series like this isn't anyone new It wasn't even the first series.
48:58Michael Patrick King, I think that's what it was.
49:00Sophie Ross:I couldn't be mistaken, but I thought it was a new writer's room. I could be mistaken. Also, I know that Eliza Zeritsky and another woman, they were the original writers of Sex and the City. And they did a couple episodes in the later part of the season. And it's probably the episodes that have been good, which are the last. Yeah. The last two weeks ago. Yeah. The last few have been okay. Yeah. So it looks like there are Michael Patrick King is a creator and executive producer. So it says he directed, wrote and executive produced the original series. Yeah. 93 episodes. But it sounds like there are just a lot of new.
49:44Sophie Ross:I'm sure writers involved, obviously, which makes sense. It's just, um, Patricia field, who is the original costume designer for the show who is responsible for Carrie Bradshaw's iconic outfits did not come back for, and just like that and the outfits I feel like were not great for the first two seasons. They have been so good this season. They pulled out a lot from the archive, which is just like so great to see because the, the wardrobe, even though some of it's like, what are you wearing? The rest iconic. Yes, Yes, exactly. Like I'm in the middle of the most recent episode and the outfits that Carrie has worn on the most recent episode have just been flawless.
50:24Sophie Ross:And that was not the case for the first two seasons. It just didn't feel, it didn't feel like Carrie. I know. They were still trying to like figure her out. Which is like, you shouldn't have to do that. You should just pick right back up. Yeah. And also they wasted so much fucking time on Aiden. Again. Wasted so much time because now it's like, I want to watch Carrie be single again. And now she is the hot writer, whatever his name is. And I want to see how that unfolds. There's like so much now that I want to see unfold and we're not going to get to. It's a shame. We all complained too much and didn't realize how good we had it.
51:00Moral of the story. I read somewhere in like the beginning of the season when the episodes were coming out and everyone was like, what is this? Someone I read somewhere was like, bring back Che. Like, I never thought I would say this, but like, I miss Che.
51:12Sophie Ross:Honestly, like I miss how much we all made fun of Che. Like Che was so, Che was like the worst. An easy target. But like, again, a great hate watch. This episode is brought to you by Facebook. So you were scrolling on Marketplace and there it was, the bike you'd been searching for. You sent a message and it turned out the seller was super chatty, kind of funny, and an avid cyclist. The next thing you know, you're in a cycling crew. Well, a community cycling group. The thing about Facebook, you might find more than what you're looking for. From a browse to a bike ride, this summer, find more on Facebook.

52:51Saying how you feel out loud is terrifying. But that's what Hinge's new free audiobook, No Ordinary Love, is all about. it's a collection of real love stories about five couples that met on hinge the stories are written and read by temby dintonhurst nicola dinan curtis garner raven smith and rufy thorpe i hunter harris wrote and read the forward the audiobook's out now give it a listen
53:19Sophie Ross:okay so last thing before we jump into light energy objects and dark energy objects of the week. Ghislaine Maxwell is now at the same prison as Jen Shaw and Elizabeth Holmes, apparently. Yeah, this shook me. It was like on the news, they were like, Ghislaine Maxwell has been transferred to a prison in Texas with a couple of well-known other prisoners and like up popped Elizabeth Holmes on one split side of the screen and up popped Jen Shaw from Real Housewives of Salt Lake City on the other half of the screen. And it's just like, I remember when Elizabeth Holmes got to that prison with Jen Shaw, everyone was like, oh my God, are they going to be friends?
53:57Are they going to be like the new girl group of the prison? Like whatever it may be. And they, then like all these photos came out of them working out together and like going on walks in the prison yard. And that was insane. That was like the craziest to me. I was like, what the actual fuck? Like these two women from two completely different worlds. Both infamous in their own ways. Yes. And now you have like Ghislaine Maxwell. Like this is like the trifecta of infamous bad women. Horrible human beings. Horrible human, dark, dark human beings. Definition of dark energy. Ghislaine Maxwell like upped the darkness of Ghislaine.
54:39Oh, yes.
54:40Sophie Ross:Like to another, like it's not really fun anymore with Ghislaine Maxwell. Now it's just like, no, this is too much. Yeah. And I saw a meme. It was either on like Twitter or Reddit. It was like Jen Shaw is making sure that Ghislaine Maxwell like cannot take over like what she has put in place in prison. Like she's going to make sure that Ghislaine like will not head the workout group or like will not, you know, be a part of the clique that she's in. Like just all this ridiculous stuff. But it's insane that she even got transferred to a lower security prison to begin with. Oh my God. She needs to be in fucking like solitary confinement.
55:19Sophie Ross:Like put her away with like the worst of them, honestly. Like you don't get to be at the fun prison, Ghislaine. She doesn't deserve to be with Elizabeth Holmes and Jen Shaw. No, not. Oh my God. But I do kind of need Andy in a camera. Kind of. I just, part of me is morbidly curious, like what kind of interactions they're going to have. Part of me is like, fuck all three of them. I think that like what gets lost in the conversation, We all know that Ghislaine Maxwell hurt a lot of people. Yeah. That goes without saying. I think it sometimes gets lost that Jen Shaw and Elizabeth Holmes also hurt a lot of people.
55:53Sophie Ross:A lot of vulnerable people. In Elizabeth Holmes's case, sick people. In Jen Shaw's case, elderly people. In Ghislaine's case, children. They are the scum of the earth. I think it's actually crazy that Jen Shaw is going to be released. Now it's like next year she's going to be out. they keep adjusting her release timeline. Yeah. Making it earlier and earlier. And it's like, why do you have an overflow issue? Like, why, how are you letting this person out when she hurt so many vulnerable, defenseless elderly people? I mean, it's just sick. It's sick. Yeah. Oh my God. It like pisses me off. And also like when, when that, when her sentence or anyone's sentence gets shortened because of quote unquote good behavior.
56:43Sophie Ross:What is good behavior in prison? Like, is it you saying please and thank you? Yeah, I've always been curious about that. What constitutes good behavior? Let us know, you guys. Well, the only thing I can think of is like the Menendez brothers, it having good behavior and like their good behavior was they were, I think, going to therapy. They were helping like other prisoners better themselves from like what they had learned in prison or they were being teachers, whatever that is. I'm still like, why is just being nice grant you potential freedom? Yeah. I don't understand. They know what they're doing.
57:20They know how to put on good behavior to get what they want. They know how to manipulate the system. So of course they're going to be on their best behavior. Yeah. That's how they got away with
57:29Sophie Ross:their shit in the first place. I will say though, free the Menendez brothers. Free them. Otherwise, though, for those aforementioned three women. Keep them. Keep them in there. Throw away the lock and key. Yeah. Send it back in the mail. For real. Okay. Anyway, let's jump into our light energy objects of the week, dark energy objects of the week. What do you want to do first, Jordan? Let's do dark energy first. So I think that the biggest barometer of like whether or not someone is a good person is if they are nice to waiters. People that are mean to waiters are the darkest energy. And I think that that was something that I had to adjust to when I moved from the Midwest to the East Coast.
58:16Sophie Ross:And I'm not saying that all Midwestern people are angels. You're no angel either, sweetheart. That's not that's not what I'm saying. I'm saying that I think Midwesterners have, in general, better manners. like the people that get their sentences reduced in prison. Know how to say please and thank you. Just have better manners. East coasters are a little more brash. Yeah. I definitely - Or around the edges. Yeah. I had to get used to being around people that didn't know how to say please and thank you to waiters. I have had friends that I've literally had to teach, which is kind of embarrassing.
58:49Sophie Ross:It's not good, but like, I feel like it is such a barometer. I think that some people maybe just never learned. It's not a good excuse, but people that are downright mean to waiters. It is just so, and, and I think elderly, some of our grandparents, I will excuse them. It's not something I enjoy, but I, I give an excuse to, you know, my grandparents are elderly people going out to dinner because they're just a little crabbier, you know, as they get into old age, you know, they have very, very, very stringent order adjustments that they need. It's just, I'll give them a pass. But if you are not over the age of 75, I'll say 75 is my cutoff.
59:33Sophie Ross:You have no excuse. It's just so cringe. But even when someone doesn't say thank you, and I actually always try to clock it on reality shows too. When I see reality, when they're filming reality stars or whether it's like Housewives or Vanderpump or the valley and they're filming all of them at the restaurant. Like I clock that if they don't say please or thank you or whatever it may be, because I just think it's such a tell of the kind of person that you are. Like if you can't say that to just someone that is doing something for you, like, how are you going to treat your, like, how am I supposed to expect you to treat your significant other the right way?
1:00:16Or like that, that was like one of the big things I would look out for when I was dating was like, how are these men doing on dates where like they're saying, are they not saying please or thank you? Are they not making direct eye contact with the waiter? Like that also, when you don't look directly at someone, I'm like, oh, so you think you're better than them? Like they're just here to serve you. Like not only are you not saying please and thank you, but you can't even look them in the eye. That really.
1:00:44Sophie Ross:It's bad. Yeah. I completely agree that that is a great, if you are a single baby snark, next time you go on a date, like that is something to definitely pay attention to. Because again, like we said, I feel like it's a barometer of whether or not you're a good person. Yeah. It's not that hard. It's really not to say please or thank you or to look at someone. Yeah. And if it is, you have a problem. Yeah. What is your dark energy object of the week? Mine was I had to make dinner for myself earlier this week. So Eli makes dinner most nights. Eli is Jordan's boyfriend. Yes. And I'm very, very grateful and very thankful.
1:01:22So I was making my own dinner the other night, did some Bazy made pasta. I could not get the top of the pasta sauce. It was like an unopened jar of pasta sauce. Couldn't open it. Ran it under the hot water. Wouldn't budge. Tried to use like a towel and tapping it on the counter. Wouldn't budge. Finally, I was like on the phone with a friend and she was like, take a knife, like a sharp knife and just like whack it, whack the lid with the knife and like circle it around the jar and it will open. Wow. And that worked? I did it. I made a dent in the pasta jar top and it worked. It popped right off.
1:02:04But I was like, the one time you need a man, he's not here and couldn't open jar. It was honestly so embarrassing. Also, I was like, am I weak? Am I just not strong that I can't open this jar? It was just a full on embarrassing moment of not being able to do something for myself. No, I've been there.
1:02:25Sophie Ross:I've been there. And also like, it's not sometimes it's not even opening like a new can of something. The way that Henry will close something so tightly as if it needs to be vacuum sealed, as if we are going to outer space. Like why, why does it have to be closed this tightly? Like for instance, our peanut butter jar, we get like this, it comes in a glass jar. It's not, yeah, this is what that sauce was. It was in a glass jar. Yeah, a glass jar. And I'm like, I was not opening it for the first time. It was peanut butter that we had already opened, but he closed it so fucking tight. Like why? Why?
1:03:05Sophie Ross:Is it necessary? Same with my water. Like, God bless him. He is the type of husband that fills up my water bottle every night before bed. I shouldn't be complaining because I love it. It's my favorite thing he does. But then he'll close it so tight that, like, the next day when I'm trying to, like, refill it, I, like, cannot open my water bottle. No, you need, like, those, like, I need a grip thing. I need to order, like, a grippy thing on Amazon because hot water and banging. It's also because it was glass. I was like, I'm going to break it, and then I'm going to cut myself. And then there's going to be glass everywhere, and the dogs are going to step on it.
1:03:36Sophie Ross:Yeah. Also, have you ever tried to open a Talenti ice cream? Impossible. Impossible. And I'm like, I'm going to throw my shoulder out. I'm going to dislocate. Yeah. I won't buy it for that very reason. I'm like, I can't, I can't open this. Like there are not many things I can't do, but like, that's one of them. And it's like, you can put that under hot water. You're going to melt the ice cream. You're going to melt the ice cream. It's just ridiculous. But they actually do have like tools you can order where that like helps you open a can. That's just a money grab for them. Like you're going to, well, clearly we need them.
1:04:12Like clearly that's like not a bad invention.
1:04:15Sophie Ross:If, if we can't, if we can't open cans. And also like, I think accessibility wise, there are some people that probably need it. Accessibility wise, but like, yeah, some of these fricking jar manufacturers need to relax. Talenti manufacturers, you guys need to chill with that. Yeah. And if you're not going to, if you're going to make it where you can't open it, at least just like give a freebie of, of something to help you open it because yeah. Or at least like they want with the issue. Yeah. Like you should have some sort of instructions. Yeah. Like what's, what's the hack here? Like how do I actually like, come on.
1:04:53Sophie Ross:Okay. Let's move on to light energy objects of the week. First of all, shout out to Tubi, which is one of them to be sent. Christie and I marched because they heard our shout out. You have your shoes with you. I have my slides. Actually, I'm wearing them right now. They say to be, this is one of them. And I love it. I am like in my cozy. It's like the cutest snark bait, pink, cozy sweatsuit. And it was like the purpose, perfect thing to change into after my shower after a day at the beach. So like, I'm so cozy right now. I love it. Thank you to be. And I've heard so many people or seen so many DMs from people being like, oh my God, I started watching Tubi because of you and I'm obsessed.
1:05:34Sophie Ross:So like, clearly we are Tubi influencers. We deserve this merch. So thank you Tubi. Speaking also of streaming, I started The Hunting Wives on Netflix. I think I started it Thursday night and I finished it last night, Saturday. We're recording on Sunday, August 3rd right now. It is so good, you guys. It's one of those kind of trashy, stupid summer binges. Like it's not, it's not like prestige television. Like this isn't The Wire. It's not The Sopranos. It is exactly what you need it to be, which is stupid summer fun. And it's very sexy. So do not make the mistake of like turning it on with like your mom or your, God forbid, your dad.
1:06:19Sophie Ross:Just watch it by yourself. Watch it with a spouse, a partner. be careful about who you watch it with because it is extremely sexy but like so good and like so binge worthy good to know I do have it on my list yeah and it's it is Brittany Snow and Malin Ackerman I think Malin Ackerman and she is so Malin Ackerman has been like so hot for so long say Brittany Snow is gorgeous but Malin Ackerman has always played like the bombshell like she never ages. She never ages. Like when she was in Harold and Kumar, which I love Harold and Kumar. Fun fact about me. It's like one of my favorite movies, the original one, like she has just always been so fricking stunning and beautiful.
1:07:02Sophie Ross:She has like a really bad wig in the show, but what's up with that? Yeah. The wig is really bad, but otherwise she is just like stunning. She gets naked a lot, which like, you know, I'm fine with it because she is just so beautiful and perfect, but yeah, a very sexy, fun summer romp, you know? Okay. I'm going to watch it. Okay. Yeah. So I highly recommend that show if you guys need like a fun, sexy little show. Another thing that I really, truly appreciate you guys is the tool on Instagram. Like the fact that Instagram gives us the ability, if you post a slideshow, it's not the easiest thing in the world, but you can rearrange your slideshow.
1:07:42Sophie Ross:I had no idea. And I love it because I am someone who like cares about how my grid looks. I don't have like the most aesthetic grid, but I want it to look good. Like I care about it. Yeah. And there was like one, it was just bothering me. Like it didn't, it didn't look good. It was the first, the cover photo of an album that I recently posted. And what you can do is you click edit. Don't click like delete of like the whole post. Just you can select one photo at a time and press like the trash can button for that photo. And then it sends it to your archive. And then you go to your archive and you could say re repost it or whatever the term is.
1:08:25Sophie Ross:And then it returns to that same album just at the back of the album. So if you want to, So if you want to rearrange an album on Instagram, you have to do it manually that way. So it's not like the easiest thing in the world. It would be so nice if you could just press edit and like move them around. But you have to like delete them and then reinstate them, I guess. And does it say that you that it's like a new post, though? Or it's no like posted. No, it's the third or whatever. Yeah, it's the same post. It's like just the same. But it goes to the back of the album. So then if you want something to, you know, move forward, then you have to just delete other photos and keep deleting until you have the order that you want and then reinstate them or whatever.
1:09:12Sophie Ross:That's not the right word. Can you also like delete a photo and not have it be in like the – because I feel like I've seen people do that when they have a breakup and there's like a significant other in their carousel and then all of a sudden they're gone. And I'm like, wait, I really thought I saw that person. No, you can delete. Yeah, you can delete as many photos as you want from a carousel until you're down to two. Because I've had the same thing where, you know, I have photos with like an ex-boyfriend. And I'm like, well, I like this photo at the front. That's just of me. But I can't delete this last photo because it has, once it's down to two, you can't delete in a carousel.
1:09:52Sophie Ross:So that's just a fun IG hack. but I appreciate Instagram for letting me do that as someone who has like a little bit of, you know, I'm a little crazy about making sure my grid looks okay. You would never guess it from looking at my grid, which doesn't even look good, but like, it's just a me thing, you know? That's okay. We all have our things. We all have our things. Okay. I feel like, do you have any light energy objects? You didn't write them down, but like, do you have any? Um, I, I don't think I do. I'm going to say that my light energy object is doing this with you today. Oh, stop it. That was so sweet.
1:10:26Feels like it's such an honor. I'm always behind the scenes, which I like, like I'm a very behind the scenes kind of person. And so it's just like a different experience being on and being in conversation. But it was so fun. So thank you for having me.
1:10:42Sophie Ross:Of course. I loved it. Welcome to the front of the house. Yeah. Jordan is usually back of house And she is like the backbone of the show. So it was really great to be able to welcome you to DET for the first time. And hopefully not the last time. I hope that it honestly was fun. I get it now. I'm like, bring me the I'm ready for my my close up. Bring me the front of the house now. Oh my God, stop. She's gonna try to take over you guys. I would watch literally never. I've been watching too much hunting wives. I'm like, oh my God, Jordan, you're gonna take me out. Aren't you? Never. I could never.
