Not only do they have the chicest designs for whatever you're looking for, whether your style is boho, modern, classic, the rugs are both stain-resistant and machine-washable. This is key for me as a New Yorker with a dog. You don't even want to know what kind of city sludge he can drag into the house on any given day.

It's truly a game changer. Oh, and the non-slip backing that every single one of the rugs has, also key for having a dog with the zoomies. So they're functional for high traffic homes, yes, but they're also fashionable. I truly take pride in my interior design skills and my guests always compliment my rugs. Thanks, Ruggable. Love ya. Welcome back to another episode of Snarkbait. I'm Christy. I'm Sophie. and it's been well it's been a really really chaotic morning uh we started recording for about 15 minutes and realized that we i never clicked record so uh we're gonna do it all over again and uh from the top i just went yeah from the very top we're gonna do a quick la show recap because i feel like we will be remiss not to bring up well our team that was so there for us the entire time and i think for those of you that weren't at the show well first of all let's address those of you that were at the show.

2:47We're so incredibly grateful that you guys took the time out of your very busy schedules on a weekday, not a weekday, but Friday. You know, after Fridays, I like to relax. I don't like to go out. I want to just stay at home and not talk to anyone. But for those of you that came in, so, so grateful for you. For those of you that flew in, so grateful for you. For those of you that came solo, like we appreciate you. I don't think, I feel like so many people did come solo and I was actually pretty surprised by that. So many people came solo and a lot of people came with their significant others. I wasn't surprised by the solo ones at all.

3:19I'm really happy. Yeah, I was so grateful. And I knew that some of you were coming solo. We have a daily chat now on Patreon for our business runners. And a lot of people were connecting and saying, hey, I'm going solo. So I just I thought it was so, so special to meet all of you that came out. And I just felt so freaking grateful for all the baby snarks and also our amazing team, Olivia and Rachel, who were the MVPs of the show. And oh my God, I just feel so grateful. I can't even put into words. And thank you to trigger warning Ryan Bailey, who I'm still trying to convince to come to the New York show.

3:54And I think he might be making it happen. So yeah, I'm just so grateful. Thank you guys so much for coming out. It was, Christy and I were talking about this in our first recording that actually wasn't recording, how we didn't know what to expect. And I was really scared. I was really nervous. But it somehow like exceeded expectations. even though we didn't know what to expect. It just went so much better than we ever could have dreamed of. It truly went off without a hitch somehow. And it was just so fun. Like I had the time of my life. I think you did too. And then I think our audience did too.

4:27It was just so much fun. Yeah, it was a lot of fun. And I feel like the team, just all the work that led up to that night, like we had been planning for this for close to seven months before, meeting every other week for an hour every week and just talking about like the slides. For once, since December. Yeah, since December. So this has been a long time coming and VIPs and meet and greets, they get like a goodie bag and Rachel has been working so hard to coordinate with all of our sponsors to get gifts to put in the goodie bags. And it's just been like a lot of coordination and our merch sold out.

5:00And for those of you that wanted merch, we actually haven't gone to market like directly on like via an e-commerce website yet. DTC, but it's very much underway. way. I was so shocked that it sold out so quickly. Same. We were like, okay, well, like, it's probably not going to sell. So get ready to schlep it back. We had a plan for schlepping it all back. And it all sold out, which I was so excited about. And should we tell, for the people that weren't at the show, should we tell them what the merch is that they can expect at the New York and Chicago? Or should we let it be a surprise? No, no, no.

5:30I think it's fine. And I was going to say, you know what's funny? I don't even have merch. Like, people have merch and I don't even have it. I have. I got some samples and they are truly amazing and high quality. And that's why this has taken so long. It's because we were very, very, very picky and intentional about the quality. But we have a varsity crew neck, a Heather Gray varsity crew neck that says snarky and varsity letters with light pink embroidery. It's so freaking cute. And then we also have a black baseball cap that says dark energy in white embroidered cursive. And those two things will be at the live shows, New York.

6:10I don't think it's in cursive. It is in cursive. It's not in cursive. It's italic. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's italic times New Roman. Sorry, sorry, sorry. And then we will also eventually have these water bottles, snarky water bottles. A walleye thing, right? They are, no, elemental. But so high quality. I've been using it nonstop. If you're watching a video, you can see the cutie water bottles. And these are not the ones that everyone is asking about the crates of water bottles that showed up at my apartment because it's such a funny story. They're like, how did you not keep any? And I'm like, because they were ugly.

6:42She's also ugly. They were ugly. And we made sure that they ended up being cute before we sold them. And now we are very happy with them. They're so fucking cute. All of our merch is amazing. So I'm so happy that you guys loved it and that it sold out at the LA show. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. So, yeah, we're really grateful for the team. My best friend, Sarah, who was able to house us, both of our moms, for coming to the live show as Husband of the Pod. I finally got to meet my fellow business partner. Oh, and you guys took a really—did you see the picture I took of you guys together? It's really cute.

7:17It is really cute. Henry, before we met Christy, Henry was like, so where—how tall is Christy? And he was wearing, like, a polo that had, like, a pocket. and I was like, I think like to hear like the bottom of the pocket of his polo. And then I think you were even below that. People get really confused when they see photos of us. They're like, wait, how tall is Sophie or how? I don't understand this dynamic. I'm like, no, no, Sophie is like a normal woman size. I'm 5 '5 for the record. I look like I'm 6 '4. I look like I'm Jacob Elordi height. Next to Christy. Right. I'm like the, it's like that one meme of like Courtney and Kendall, how Kendall's like towering over her.

7:52That's literally what we look like next to each other. And it's not because Sophie is a giant. It's because I am less than five feet. So now we cleared the air. But speaking of Kendall, let's talk about Jacob and Kendall. Yeah, Kendall and Jacob Balorty double dating with Kylie and Timothy. They were spotted by Dumas getting into an SUV. Jacob was driving. The three of them were kind of hiding their faces. But this seems to be like the A-list couple. And we were just saying that it's interesting because the Kardashians, Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe, We have not really been in the zeitgeist at all.

8:24And I was asking, Sophie, is this by design? Do they just not want to be photographed? She's like, no, I think that they want to be photographed. Not want to be photographed? Who? What? I'm giving them way too much credit. I know. Like, what? Since when? That would be like if, like, alien, like, invaded their bodies. You know? Like, that just would not be on brand for them at all. I think that Kim— Okay, this is what we were talking about when we realized we weren't recording. so with Kim and Lewis Hamilton I was like oh you know what like who cares about F1 you know like who cares about Lewis obviously everyone yelled at me I know I'm wrong a lot of people care about F1 it's just that I'm like a stupid American you know so like I just don't watch F1 I also don't watch like sports in general yeah well I was gonna say you're not like a sports person I'm not a sports girl except with like the Cincinnati Bengals but that's literally in Joe Burrow that's it um So I was like, I don't know.

9:16Like, who cares? It's not what you were going to say. Sorry to interrupt. But like you were doing all weekend when you were like rehearsing. And Sophie goes, I'm giving myself the egg. Oh, wait. I kept giving myself the egg. We were like practicing. We were rehearsing. And then we did like a transition, like TikTok. And I was like, ew, I'm giving myself the egg. Like, I was so grossed out by myself when we were like practicing our jokes. And I was like, ew. Oh, it was so funny. and like olivia was just like sitting there silent we're like why are you saying anything producer theater girl a little like she had her legs crossed just watching us but then also she made us feel better because she acts and stuff she was like guys i play pretend for a living i give myself the ick all the time it's very normal to give yourself the ick when you're like practicing something and you're like playing pretend yeah oh my god it was so i'm never doing a tiktok you guys we posted our tiktok on our instagram our like transition tiktok it was my idea i was like oh you guys let's do like a transition tiktok never doing that again hated it hated every second of it i was like hate this you were being so funny like sophie would be mid-sentence hey guys this door god i'm giving myself the ick i was so grossed out and embarrassed of myself no it was so fucking funny like and yeah olivia and rachel just were just saying that are dead pan were like are you guys gonna give us a reaction yeah like any feedback no and christy kept like wanting to like she's like from the top and she would like hit the timer i was like no let's just like stop for a second.

10:38Like, please, I can't do this. I can't do this. And it ended up being great. Like for the fact that we were like so scared of rehearsing because I kept giving myself the ick, we actually like it went. I'm shocked how smooth it went. No, no, I know. I know that. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I had to interrupt just now. I'm just envisioning you just be like. No, it was like so it was so bad, but it was obviously worth it. You guys, it was so worth it. um i don't know if the tiktok was worth it but um i'm i'm it was an experience okay yeah but back to kim and lewis hamilton so i know that i was like i don't care about lewis hamilton like who cares about race car drivers and everyone yelled at me understandably i deserved it but also like does anyone care about kim and lewis hamilton because it feels like no one does no one does and if you do i'm sorry let's say the quiet part out loud no one cares about kim and lewis hamilton no one cares they had this whole like beach photo shoot where she was wearing a wetsuit for some reason yeah was she wearing a wetsuit because she's like self-conscious of like the paparazzi but then like she does paparazzi photo shoots yeah so i don't know that's a good question that's a good question i you're right that was such a staged pap shot and it was like them their like debut and like no one gave a rat's ass no one cared and like maybe we're wrong it's just i'm getting the vibe that no one cares and that's why it feels like kim is just not in the cultural conversation at the moment as much as Kylie and Kendall with Timothy and Jacob, respectively.

12:03It's like next-gen Calabasas, you know? Like, the next-gen has to take over at this point. Next-gen Calabasas. Yeah. Like, I just, I feel as if Chloe's in the zeitgeist because of her podcast. Kourtney and Travis are simmering down. I mean, I feel like the reason why there was so much Kourtney in our faces in, like, early 2020s was because of her and Travis. And now that they've been married for a couple years, people just, like, don't care as much. But yeah, I don't know. It's really odd that we haven't heard a lot of them recently. But I mean, if I had to hear from any of them, probably Chloe or Kim.

12:34Yeah. I mean, didn't you say this weekend that there were like, there've been rumors about Travis and Kourtney? Yeah. Yeah. There's been a lot of blind items that I've been reading, reading or hearing on TikTok about him stepping out on her. And we did a Travis Barker memoir recap on our Patreon. And that was probably, I've read a lot of celebrity memoirs, like Demi Moore's, Britney Spears, Marsha Brady from the Brady Bunch. That was a really one, actually. I forgot her real name. Martha McCormick, I think it is. She has a crazy story. It is Maureen McCormick. Maureen McCormick, yes. She has a crazy story.

13:14She basically was a huge cocaine addict and like sold her bodies at some points to just feed her addiction. It's really crazy and dark. But what was I getting at with this? Oh, Travis Barker, his memoir is just crazy when it comes to how he, his relations with women, and just the number of women he's hooked up with and his marriages and how much he cheated. And I think reading his memoir, I was like, oh, wow, if he does not cheat on Courtney, that's going to be the biggest miracle ever just based on his history. So I do believe those rumors. I feel like it's not really hit the mainstream media quite yet.

13:47But I mean, Courtney's been fucked over enough. I hope that, you know, he treats her well. You would hope. Yeah. I doubt it. After dealing with Scott for however many years. Yeah. Right. Right. But yeah, I'm hoping the Jacob and Kendall thing lasts a lifetime because I'm obsessed. And Sophie and I do not share that, but I'm curious what you guys think. Are you guys into the Jacob and Kendall match or are you like, this is so dumb. I hope she gets back with Devin Booker. Okay. Can we talk about Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt now calling it quits? And - Oh my God. Pete Davidson is such trash. So if you guys missed it, they split about five months after having a baby together in December of 2025.

14:28Scotty Rose Hewitt Davidson was born December 12th, 2025. So it's literally been just five months since the daughter was born. Yeah. And Elsie Hewitt has made it very clear on TikTok and in comment sections that she is fully taking on the role of parent solo for this child. She is financially completely responsible. Just it sounds like Pete is no longer in the picture at all. And this is like to be expected, I feel like, from him. Like he obviously is, as they call it, community dick. He is a noncommittal piece of shit. He yeah, he has. And also separately, he is in recovery for addiction. And they, I think, started their relationship only months after he became sober and they became pregnant very, very, very quickly into their relationship.

15:22So a lot of people are like, well, what did she expect? And it's like, yes, I agree. It's like, what did you expect? When you decided to have a child with Pete Davidson, because even if it was an accident, if you're having sex with someone, there is a chance that you will become pregnant. Right. But at the same time, it's like you're a piece of shit. And she liked to comment saying when a woman is postpartum, it is the most vulnerable time in their life. And for a man to leave or to, you know, not even like when a postpartum woman says jump, you say how high as her partner. So it's like, and she liked to comment saying this, basically, that she was like, yeah, I know.

16:00It's like, it's inexcusable. He's just a piece of shit, I think. Yeah. And if you guys saw her TikTok, she posted a video just talking about how exhausted she's been postpartum. And this is exactly what she said. She goes, yeah, yeah, I know. I'm exhausted. Okay. Because, oh, this is in response to pap photos being released of her and her looking to what she said was disheveled looking. I haven't actually seen the photos, but she's like, yeah, yeah, I know I'm exhausted. After I left the house. She looked great, by the way. She was wearing like leggings and her hair was in a ponytail. I'm like, that's how I look every day and I don't have an excuse.

16:27Right. After I left the house looking like it yesterday, I should have known that was going to happen, but that's not what I'm thinking about right now. I have a baby to take care of and I also have to work and make money. I'm doing it on my own, which is hard. And obviously that spurred a lot of comments. And someone says, I hope you don't mean you're doing the financial part alone. That would be insane given the circumstances. You seem like a lovely person and a wonderful mother. We're all rooting for you. And she responds, I am, smiley face, as in she's doing the financial part alone, we believe.

16:51Someone responds and says, sorry, but not staying with your partner when they are postpartum is insanely loser behavior. This is the most vulnerable time in a woman's life. And she responds, amen, sis. And Pete Davidson is trying to get ahead of it. People Magazine released an article that I read yesterday of him, his team saying, disputing all these allegations and saying that's not true. Oh, I miss this. Yes, Pete Davidson is very much involved financially in the daughter's life. But other people are saying, well, even if he's involved financially, we don't believe he's involved physically. Like he's not there for Elsie postpartum helping take care of their child.

17:25And what I found was pretty interesting was last night I came across a page or excuse me, New York Post article saying that Pete Davidson was trying to sell his home well before he and Elsie, he would actually split this month. And we always say it with celebrity relationship. If they release their split like this month, it probably happened even a month, two months ago. We're always getting the news very like a lot later. So if that is in fact the case, just a couple of months after their daughter was born, now they're splitting. and I guess he listed their North Salem, New York home for$2.4 million on February 14th, the home that they shared.

17:58And it wasn't selling. He slashed the price down to$2.2 million on March 9th and a second time to$2.1 million on April 27th. So because the home wasn't selling, they're like, he was just looking to like - Definitely trying to sell it. Trying to sell it, liquidate it because he didn't want to live with her anymore. So that was back in Feb that he was trying to sell the home. Yeah, it sounds like they have been on the rocks, at least, for, you know, probably since having the baby. Which is really sad, because again, she's in a vulnerable place as a postpartum woman. It's just, it's really freaking sad.

18:29And I think that Pete Davidson, he obviously has gone through a lot, and he has a lot of trauma, and I think that's why people kind of excuse his behavior. Yeah. But, like, at some point we have to say, hey, this is just who he is as a person, and there are only so many excuses that work at this point. I read these blind items where they were saying it was super, it felt very misogynistic. They were basically saying Elsie Hewitt has long been trying to be, they were alleging Elsie Hewitt is a yacht girl. I don't know anything about Elsie Hewitt, whether or not that's true or not. Remember, she was with Ryan Phillippe and he allegedly pushed her down the stairs.

19:03So this is not her first like celebrity relationship. Well, apparently she's also been with Jason Sudeikis. Yep, that's right. So there's been allegations she's been a yacht girl. She's a celebrity girlfriend. Chasing her. Chaser, yes. But it doesn't even, like, it doesn't matter, you know? It 100 % doesn't matter. This is what the Blight items were saying. Again, I don't even hold that much weight. I just thought it was interesting lore. Yeah, yeah. They were just saying she was hoping to get locked into a relationship with Pete Davidson by having a child with him, and it just ended up blowing up in her face.

19:32But, like, this is her M.O. Again, I find that to be a very misogynistic take. God forbid a woman who's attractive and young goes out and dates celebs. Yeah, like, if you could, you would as well. So I just thought that was interesting. interesting lore.

19:50So I need to talk about something that changed my life and it's my Tushy Bidet. And trust me, it'll change your life too. Switching from dry toilet paper to a bidet is a tiny, tiny habit that will make a huge difference in your daily routine. Instead of wiping endlessly with dry toilet paper, Tushy pristinely removes 99 % of bacteria while protecting your natural skin barrier thanks to one natural ingredient, fresh water. I once heard someone liken it to washing your hands without water after using the bathroom, and that's the best way I can really describe it. And the proof is really in the numbers.

20:2199 % of people who wash with tushy warm water bidets feel cleaner and fresher after going to the bathroom. Over 50 % of people soothe their hemorrhoids, and 90 % reduce itching and discomfort. Speaking of babies, mazel tov to Alex Cooper and Matt Kaplan, who announced that they are expecting. And it's so interesting.

23:45It's interesting timing because of all of the rumors about their marriage being on The Rock. And also the expose that came out just a few weeks ago about Matt Kaplan allegedly being a toxic, abusive boss. So this doesn't change the fact that Matt Kaplan is apparently a toxic, abusive boss. But I think it's funny that in these photos that she posted with the announcement, his face isn't like showing in them. Yeah, a lot of people were pointing that out, Sophie. A lot of people were like, why is her face front and center? Which as it should be, she's the mother holding the child. Yeah, yeah. But his face was just like totally, you couldn't see it.

24:18No, it was like she like didn't want to show him because he's like kind of getting, you know, some heat at the moment. I thought for sure that said a lot that his face wasn't. Also, was she just trying to be like, yeah, I know he's ugly. So we always call him a butter face. It's so funny. But yeah, but his face. But his face. Yeah. And we've been hearing rumors that they've been sleeping separately. That was just like a week or two ago. so it's just interesting timing that i think you know she was definitely pregnant when she released that alex earl video and she's like hey girl spill the receipts or like stop talking because i'm sick of it uh-huh so i i just there's been so much craziness surrounding her and her husband yeah while production so it's just interesting that they decided to i mean i mean they have no choice obviously she's showing at this point but yeah i don't know i mean uh wish her well uh it's just It's interesting timing for sure.

Read the full transcript

25:11Yeah, it's interesting timing that she like decided to go after Alex Earl with that video. And people could say, oh, well, Alex Earl started it. And it's like, well, she was like subtweeting and like reposting things. But like Alex Cooper like called her out by name in a video and she did that while pregnant. So maybe it's maybe she's thriving. You know, you would you would think that a pregnant woman would want less stress in their life. But maybe Alex Cooper just thrives this way. Yeah, she just wants more and more. So, yeah, excited for her, happy for her. Wish her well. Wish them well. Speaking of, well, yawning when we were just talking about Elsie Hewitt, we talked about this.

25:51I can't remember if we talked about it on a Patreon or what, but I listened to, did we talk about this? I think it may have been at the live show. Maybe. The live show was so juicy, you guys. It was really juicy. We had some good tea spilled. I know. We actually did. There's things I was like, oh, we're not going to talk about that. And then we ended up talking about it. But I listened to Hayden Panettiere's Jay Shetty interview. So you didn't have to. Oh, God. I also noticed he was at the Kevin Hart roast. I'm like, you would be here. Why are you everywhere? Why are you here? Like, aren't you supposed to be like a monk?

26:23Why are you at the roast? Why are you supposed to be a monk? Like, I don't get him. He's so weird to me. Is he a monk? I think he's like a retired monk. He's a retired. Please don't come for me. I'm not even going to fact check it because I don't care about him. Okay, wait. I thought when you're a monk, you do it for life. Is Jay Shetty a retired... Everyone's going to be like, these fucking idiots. Yes, Jay Shetty is a former monk. He spent several years training in a monastery before transitioning into his career as a motivational speaker. What a hack. I'm sorry. He has stated that he left monastic...

26:52I'm not saying that, right. Life to bring ancient wisdom and mindfulness teachings to a broader audience who would not otherwise have access to them. Wow, thank you. You're so selfless, Jay Shetty. Also, isn't this an oxymoron, a retired monk? To your point, isn't a monk for life? That's like being a priest. I thought they were. When you're a monk. Yeah. When you're a monk, do you do it for life? Are you a lifer? We're going to get monks. Everyone's going to yell at us. No, it says not necessarily. While some monks make a lifelong commitment, others ordain for a set period. The duration depends entirely on the specific religion, order, personal choices.

27:25Okay. Fair enough, I guess. Okay. Well, he's still weird. Well, if we decided to be monks, we would definitely do it for life. Yeah, well, he sucks. Okay, but I listened to the Hayden Panettiere interview only because I was so curious about her life. And I, you know, we all grew up watching, remember, the Titans and an honorable mention to Raising Helen. Raising Helen, great movie. Also, heroes. Wasn't it heroes that she was in? Heroes. Milo Ventimilo or whatever. When he was 30 and she was 18 and they dated. Gross. And he dated Stephen, she dated Stephen Coletti. I forgot about that. Oh, my God.

27:59Yeah, she has quite the roster. Talon and Stephen Coletti were both getting around the Hollywood starlets at the time. Dude, I mean, as I said, they were both—who did you have a crush on more, Stephen or Talon? Ooh, honestly, probably Talon. I feel like Talon was more of, like, a bad boy. Well, I feel like his personality is also just better. He was, like, goofy. Like, watching him on socials. Yeah, Stephen is boring. Yeah, he's, like, kind of a king even to this day. I mean, you're funny and you're in on the joke and all the things. But basically, in the Jay Shetty interview, Hayden Panettiere talked about a very vulnerable moment in her life.

28:33She said, you know, listen, my mother, our love was always conditional on whether or not I was able to take jobs and whether or not I was a successful actress. And every take that I did on set, my mother was always there. And the first person I looked to for validation and confirmation that I did a good job was not the director. It was always my mother. And she said that when she was, I think it was Heroes or Nashville. I forgot which one. But she said, when I was filming this TV show, I realized I want a relationship with my mother, not my manager. So I fired her. And I said, I don't want to work with you like this in this capacity.

29:01I want you to be my mom again. And the only thing her mother said back to her was, you owe me. And they never talked to her again. Oh, my God. She's very, very estranged from her mother. Super sad. She just has had a very hard life. And her brother, I know, is a little bit speculated on about how he died at the age of, he was in his late 20s. And he died very suddenly. And she confirmed on the podcast that he died from his addiction. And they both have struggled a lot, I think. and she talked about a moment in time when she was younger and she said she was, I think, just turned 18, not even 20, I don't think.

29:33She said she was on a yacht with a woman that she trusted who she found to be her friend and this woman, not named, led her to one of the cabins on the yacht and there she found a very famous undressed man under the covers and this woman forced her into the bed with this man. And Hayden said she was so panicked, so scared that she ran out of the cabin and she started, she wanted to hide, but she's like, where was I to hide? I was on a yacht with a bunch of wealthy people and I'm in the middle of the ocean. Like there's not many places for me to seek shelter in. And people have been speculating a lot online that this person that literally trafficked her.

30:06I mean, that's the definition of trafficking when you're transporting, soliciting sex and you're transporting people for sex. This person that trafficked Hayden was Diana Jenkins. And if you guys know who Diana Jenkins was, if you watch Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she was that infamous one season wonder of housewives. It's not even a wonder. With a tongue. Who was like super wealthy. And she has this book, this coffee table book called Room 23. And people have allegations that that book, it's just a bunch of photographs of young women, was basically a menu for these like men to select from.

30:36Did you see that she denied this? She knows that. She's suing. Yeah. She's like suing people for saying this. Meanwhile, I saw on Crazy Days and Nights, and I told you this, that this woman was allegedly Lindsay Lohan and the actor was allegedly Heath Ledger. And that was from Crazy Days and Nights. So who knows, honestly? Yeah, it's really, really dark. And I think something about Diana Jenkins is very dark. If you guys didn't watch Beverly Hills, did you watch that season that she was on? Yeah, yeah, yeah. With a tongue. And her weird boyfriend, husband. Yeah. He was like much younger than she was.

31:15But there were rumors on that season that Garcelle's son was being bullied and like a lot of racial slurs were being like hit at him on social media. And Garcelle was like essentially convinced that Diana Jenkins was behind the social bullying of her son, who was a minor at the time, by the way. So I have no doubt that Diana Jenkins, if these rumors are in fact true, it wouldn't surprise me. Yeah, wouldn't surprise me either, given the decades of rumors about her. I really want to quickly talk about, have you watched this documentary yet on Netflix, The Crash? Wait, I've been seeing tishwalks of people.

31:48You have to watch it. I watched it on the plane. So yeah, can you give me the TLDR? What is it about? So the TLDR is that it is about a girl named Mackenzie Shurilla, who at, I think she was 17 at the time, crashed her car into a brick wall at 100 miles per hour with her boyfriend, Dominic Russo, in the front seat. Oh, yes, I remember the story. And Davion and their friend Davion Flanagan in the back seat. And unfortunately, Dominic and Davion were both tragically killed. They both died. And she survived and she, you know, was in the hospital for a few months, but was eventually charged with murder because it was clear that she did not break.

32:29She ran straight into the wall at 100 miles per hour. And it is so insane. She was interviewed in prison for this documentary. She clearly has zero remorse. There was a TikToker that actually, or a girl on TikTok that was in prison with her and was like, yeah, she had no fucking remorse. Her little act with her pretending to cry, no tears. She had no remorse. And it's so obvious why she turned out the way she did because her parents are also awful. And they're featured in the documentary and they keep making excuses for her. They let her move in with her boyfriend, Dominic, when he was 20 and she was 17.

33:03She was underage, allowed to live with her boyfriend. They also were like, oh, yeah, we knew she smoked weed and drove. She would smoke weed and drive all the time. Enablers. Enablers, exactly. Um, it's just, she is, I think her parents are narcissistic. She seems like a sociopath. It's just like a recipe for disaster. Hell on wheels, as the judge said. And she was sentenced to, oh, and also her friend, Rosie Graham, is a big fitness TikToker slash influencer who refused to speak with the police, but was interviewed for the documentary Defending Mackenzie. And she turned off all her comment sections.

33:40People are like, fuck Rosie Graham. Fuck Rosie Graham. fuck Mackenzie Shirrilla, fuck her parents. She's a murderer. Murderer. What is there to defend? Murderer. Exactly. So she was thankfully sentenced to 15 years to life in prison. She's eligible for parole in 2038. She better not get it. She better not get it because she clearly shows no remorse. In the days and months after the accident, she was replying to brands that were like, because she was posting TikToks. She was trying to get brand deals. She had no remorse. She dressed up as a corpse that Halloween. What? It's like actually unbelievable.

34:14You have to watch it. It's only like 90 minutes. Like I liked that Netflix. Sometimes I feel like they're, they're documentaries. There's like seven parts. Yeah. It's like they usually like, they're very bloated. Usually this was very concise. They even left out some parts. Apparently she rehearsed, uh, she practiced this drive several times before the actual incident, even though this was like not necessarily near her house or near where she would usually commute or drive to and from. Like, it was kind of out of the way. And she practiced it in the days leading up to the accident. Well, it wasn't an accident, the murder.

34:46The murder. Do you know what you're talking about? And it kind of reminds me of, excuse me, that woman, I think she lived in Boston. She encouraged her boyfriend to like, take his life in the car. Oh my God. I Love You Now Die is a documentary on HBO Max. And she basically wanted to be this like - Michelle Carter. Yes, Michelle Carter. She wanted to be this like woman whose boyfriend died and she idolized leah michelle and like cory montieth because of leah michelle being uh kind of like not a widow but like kind of yeah yeah yeah yeah they just like these young kids that are just like idolized death it's very very dark but the thing is she had no guarantee of like surviving the crash true that's true she i think was so i think he was trying to break up with her and she would have been okay with killing herself also.

35:35Like she was just trying to kill him by any means necessary, it seems like. And she unfortunately succeeded. And unfortunately, she gets to live, but hopefully will spend the rest of her days behind bars. It is so disturbing how little remorse she seems to have and her parents, the way they enabled her. And oh my God, it is absolutely disgusting. That Rosie Graham girl that is like this very she has almost a million followers on tiktok please don't follow her do not give any woman who's defending their murder their best friend who's a murderer and wouldn't speak with police she was like no i don't want to help the investigation but i'll be on the documentary for clout like yeah of course oh my god it is so despicable but a really really really well done documentary it's obviously extremely tragic um but i think it did a really good job of also showing who dominic and davion were and showing their family members and it's crazy like Dominic's family at first were like, this is a tragic accident.

36:33We feel so bad for Mackenzie. It's just, you know, we're here for her. And then during the trial is when they were like, whoa, this was very clearly on purpose. It is just, it's so freaking sad. Horrible. Yeah. Thanks for that recommendation. You said it's on Netflix. Yes, it is on Netflix. And there was something else I was going to say about it, but now I can't remember oh there's a whole free kenzie movement because of course there is because she's like an attractive white thin young woman uh so if you are a free kenzie person or mckenzie sharilla defender please seek help seek help seek help that reminds me of like the women that write love letters to chris watts in prison yeah i think it is like guys that have crushes on her honestly it's like men on twitter at least is what i'm seeing a lot of men defending her they're like there was reasonable doubt.

37:26It's like, well, then why was she found guilty? Yeah, right, right. Let the court do its job. Yeah. Not saying that everyone who's incarcerated is guilty, but in this case, it sounds like she's very guilty. In this case, she definitely is, and she got what she deserved and will hopefully not get probation after 15 years. I unfortunately have had very bad shaving experiences, from red bumps and ingrown hairs to cuts and razor burn. But just because I'm a hairy Jewish girl does not mean I have to settle for a horrible shaving experience. And as soon as I discovered Flamingo, I realized I don't have to suffer any longer.

37:59Seriously, I've been a fan of Flamingo since before they became a podcast sponsor. With Flamingo, my leg shaping experience is smooth, gentle, and luxurious, not bumpy, rough, and painful. Also, the shave is so close. I used to immediately feel stubble after getting out of the shower. Literally, I'm not exaggerating. It was immediate. And now, just silky smoothness. Flamingo razors feel like they're working with my body and the contours of my legs instead of against them. and it makes all the difference. Finally, shaving is a ritual I enjoy rather than dread. The best part about Flamingo, these razors are made for women by women.

My dark energy object is, I was scrolling TikTok this morning. A girl has a video with 1.1 million likes.

41:48Are you familiar with the energy drink, Alani? No. It's like a bloom. Alex Earl was hawking it a couple years ago, so I think that's where I heard about it. It's like a healthy energy drink? Yeah. Like Celsius. Same vibe as Celsius. Okay. Yeah. She found a rat at the bottom of her can. A live rat? Dead rat? Dead rat. Soaking wet. How did it fit in the can? We don't know. but she no i i'm not joking sophie it was the most disgusting thing i've ever seen she had to cut it because she goes i noticed i mean first of all isn't that kind of heavy i'm not blaming her just like no but i'm like rats i mean i live in new york so i see rats a decent amount they're big was it was it a rat or a mouse oh it was a mouse probably but it had a long long tail no no no it was disgusting she goes she was on the tiktok and she goes hey guys so i was drinking my lani and i noticed like i was pretty much done with that and i go it's kind of heavy i look down and she sees a tail then she cut it and she zoomed it sophie it was this it was soaking wet this dead no no it was and someone goes this isn't funny you need to go to the emergency room like this she does i hope she like files a lawsuit yes and then and then i go on tiktok and it's like all these alani responses another girl found a rat in her alani no it's actually like atrocious i'm i'm really sorry i had to bring this up to you guys.

43:05Oh my God. It's really, really... When she showed the close-up of the ride, it was like coiled. Oh my God, I'm so nauseous. That is so fucking disgusting. It's literally abhorrent. So I will never... They better file for bankruptcy now because I would never... I would never... Oh, absolutely not. No. I have to send it to you after this, Sophie. I love how it's like I've never heard of this brand and now this is like my first impression of them. So they will never recover from this. Oh my God, that is sickening. Yeah, I'm going to have to find that TikTok. Unfortunately, I need to see it with my own two eyes.

43:37Do you only watch it if you have a very, very strong stomach? Yeah, I'm going to watch it. Already watched it. Already watched it. Pulled it up right now on TikTok. Yeah. My DEO is, first of all, traveling from the West Coast to the East Coast because you lose an entire day. I was crying to Chrissy this morning because I was so... Yes, you should be. It's not dramatic. I would be the same way. I was just so exhausted just because it's like such a long... Like our flight was at nine something. It was like 9.30 a.m. out of LAX. And then we didn't get home until 9.30 p.m. ET. So you kind of just lose an entire day with the time change.

44:13And it's not. We had a layover in Detroit. And honestly, fuck the Detroit airport. I do not like that airport. It is way too big. That's how I feel about Atlanta. I've never been to Detroit. But Atlanta is like humongous. Atlanta airport, way too big. Why is your airport so big? And we've talked about this before. Why is your airport so big that you need like vehicle? Like you need trains and you need shuttles. You need all of these contraptions in order to just get around the airport. And we landed. We were like, oh, great. Like, we're flying out of the A terminal delta. We're flying into the A terminal.

44:42It shouldn't be too hard to make our connection. Our gate that we flew into was like A14. Our gate for our next flight was A78, which why do you even have 70 something gates in one terminal? Like, fuck you. That needs to be a different terminal. Just so we're clear. Just make it a different terminal. And I was like, Henry, oh, my God. We were like sprinting. I was like, let's take it. Looks like there's an express shuttle. And he's like, no, I just think that goes to the other terminals. And I was like, no, I think it. But we couldn't agree on taking the shuttle. He was like, let's just go. We're going to get there.

45:10Like, it's fine. But it was like seven miles, probably, of like sprinting to make our connection that we barely made. And I was starving. I was like, I just want to get food. So I had to get a fuck ass airport sandwich. There was nothing else that we had time for. No, and they're always like dry. They're always dry. They're always gross. and also oh my god i told you when i was flying into la what i'm like my only food option at the airport that i had a connection i think it was denver i ended up getting cutoba i was like you know what like i wanted something like some something somewhat healthy that wasn't like you know burger king or whatever i was like you know what i can fuck with cutoba i used to have cutoba i haven't had in a while it was disgusting you know what's gone so downhill it was sickening I'm sorry.

45:55I'm sorry. And then Henry, it was disgusting. And then Henry, I got my fuck ass sandwich, but there was a Qdoba and I was warning Henry. I was like, I had a really bad experience. I said, don't do it. He ended up getting Qdoba anyway. He took two bites and he was like, this tastes off. And then he threw it away. He said, this tastes off. What is Qdoba? I actually don't know what that is. It's like Chipotle. It's basically Chipotle, but like way worse. And it used to be really good. Like, I don't know what happened. Private equity, probably. private that's what it is it's i'm sure it's private equity just like panera bread i really think that's what happened it got bought out it got bought out 100 like it used to be really good back in the day they had really good queso they had queso before chipotle did like i really liked qdoba back in the day now discuss and i know that like airport qdoba is probably not like the best uh sample size but it doesn't matter i'm sorry there is some sort of quality issue of both myself and my husband at two separate airports had a horrible experience and like come to think of it just because it's at the airport doesn't mean it should be any worse like you have a working kitchen you have a sink you have an oven you have all the things so there's no excuse for you to not make well it's like i have i've had like mcdonald's at airports or like shake shack or whatever and they seem to have consistent quality even though it's in an airport so i don't know there's no excuse i'm sorry like kidoba get your fucking shit together get your shit together it was disgusting i'm sorry and this is not i'm not talking about the people working at kidoba in the airport.

47:20It's not their fault. It's the franchise that they are doing something astronomically wrong. And then my light energy object is the close-up hotel bathroom mirrors where I can examine every pore and chin hair. I need to get one. I need to get one for my home. Chin hair. Yeah. My juicy chin hairs. Getting to see them up close is something special. Dude, you're so funny. This weekend you were cracking up all the things you were saying. I I was like, that's so funny. Like, do you know what I'm talking about? I can't see it on air. Oh, you can't say it? I'm like, what? No, we were texting and I was like, dude, that was so scary.

47:56Like, yeah, that was really scary. Never mind. Wait, what was scary? The basement. Oh, my God. You guys, okay, my light energy object is, honestly, all the baby snarks that came out. We genuinely, Sophie started to cry because a baby snark, her name is Taylor. A shout out to Taylor. She's like, no, I flew here from Seattle. and Sophie goes, I'm going to start crying. No, I literally started crying. Yeah, it was really, really sweet. So special, yeah. And Han coming from Arizona. Shout out Han. Melissa coming from the Bay. Yeah, oh my God. Just like good. Oh yeah, Melissa gave us Sprinter, which it's right over there.

48:32Yeah, the Kylie, like the Kylie branded new, what's it called? Like hydration packets. Hydration packets. And then she also made us friendship bracelets. Christy has mine, so Christy needs to bring it to me when we see each other in like a month. But yeah, it was so special to meet so many of you IRL. It really like reminded us like what's important. And I just felt all the emotions like it was so grounding. It was so surreal. It was like everything all at once. Like it was just because you forget, you know, like you forget that people actually like listen. Yeah. And it's so funny how nervous I was to perform in front of, you know, a hundred or however many people were in the audience when we have tens of thousands of people listening to us every week.

49:14And seeing them is so different from actually like, you know, it's such a nebulous concept when we're sitting here recording just the two of us. But seeing you guys in real life was just so special. And I'm so excited to do it all over again in New York on June 12th and Chicago on June 14th and dragging Ryan to New York. Hopefully, we're going to make it happen and we can do it all over again. I'm so excited. Yeah. Thank you all that came. And we're excited to see you all in less than a month here on the East Coast. And other than that, all of our links to the show, to the live show, to our Instagrams, to our Patreon.

49:51We release bonus content every Wednesday, every episode Tuesday, Thursday on there as well. For our business runners here too, we now have a feature where we can just do live chats like all throughout the day. Yeah, it's a daily chat all day, every day. So you guys can talk amongst yourselves. You can talk directly to us. That's where we had some baby snarks connecting about going solo to the live show. Yeah. So join us there. See you there. We love you guys so much. And we'll see you at the next one. Love you guys. Bye.

50:34Even though I spend a lot of time on the internet, with my house being renovated, all I want to do lately is be outside, whether it's strolling on the beach or walking Hank. And of course, I feel like I kind of need a new wardrobe for my new outdoorsy persona without having to break the bank. That's why I love Fabletics. I joined Fabletics as a VIP, and it's completely changed how I shop. I actually recently ordered the Principal built-in broad tank in the shade almond milk, and I paired it with the same matching set For the leggings, it's called the Oasis Pure Lux High Waisted Legging in that same color.

51:03It is honestly so stretchy, makes my boobs look perky, and is one of my favorite sets that I own today. I actually was at Le Gris the other day and someone was like, wait, that's such a cute matching set. And I was like, thanks, it's Fabletics. Being a Fabletics VIP means I get 70 to 80 % off everything. It's so easy to grab new, high quality activewear sets and loungewear without overthinking or overpaying. And is there anything that makes getting dressed easier than a matching set? Don't even have to think about it. Also, for all of our healthcare provider baby snarks, Fabletics has scrubs too.

51:30New VIPs can get a scrub set for just$15. Shop now at fabletics.com slash snark to get 70 to 80 % off everything when you sign up as a new VIP. Take a really quick style quiz and be sure to select snark when prompted to unlock this offer. This is a limited time offer, so do not wait. Again, that's fabletics.com slash snark for 70 to 80 % off everything as a new VIP. Is there anything better than feeling like you finally nailed your bedding? Everything is soft in the perfect weight. It becomes your happy place that you cannot wait to crawl into after a long day of running a business that you're passionate about.

52:05It took me forever to finally get our bedding right, but we finally have thanks to Quince. Their bedding is so elevated and luxurious without the luxury price tag. From European linen to breathable duvet covers, you can find everything you need for a spring bedding refresh without having to break the bing. I'm also a huge fan of the Mulberry Silk pillowcases and eye masks. It's one of those small upgrades that makes a huge difference in the form of softer hair and more hydrated skin. Talk about luxury, but for 50 to 80 percent less than similar brands. That's because Quince works directly with ethical manufacturers to cut out the middleman.

52:40So you're paying for quality, not markups. Refresh your everyday with luxury you'll actually use. Head to quince.com slash for free shipping on your order and 365-day returns.
