In short

Snarkbait episode mixing pop-culture recaps and celebrity discourse, plus a serious discussion about reality-TV ethics.

Guests

Olivia (producer/actor who recently produced and closed a successful play; describes being “tipsy” from sleep meds; says she’s a big Taylor Swift fan). No other guest is interviewed; hosts Sophie and Christy are present off-mic.

Key claims

  1. RHONY reboot Season 3 feels different due to new cast; Carol Radziwill’s return grounds the “thirsty” vibe and she’ll address Epstein-related headlines.
  2. Online backlash against Carol’s “cool girl” attitude is framed as ageism/internalized misogyny; Carol is portrayed as naturally unbothered and New York–authentic.
  3. Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Taylor Frankie Paul is argued to be in severe mental distress; hosts discuss possible drug use, criticize Hulu/platforming, and say the show is normalizing dangerous behavior around her young children.
  4. Joe Alwyn updating his Instagram profile photo (Truman Show stairs) is read as intentional, possibly signaling he’s exiting the “Taylor Swift ex” era; also speculated he’s dating Mary Beth Barone and Sarah Pidgeon to provoke/compete in Swift/Charlie dynamics.
  5. Channing Tatum’s alleged burner Instagram (“none your business”) is discussed as internet “Frank Drummond” style pettiness targeting Harry Styles/Zoe Kravitz.

Notable examples

  • RHONY dinner scene: Jessel references “Carolyn Bessette” at the table; Carol’s best-friend connection is emphasized.
  • Taylor Frankie Paul: “AI family”/“AI White Jesus” framed-photo content cited as a “cry for help.”
  • Joe Alwyn: Truman Show “leaving” imagery; sightings with Mary Beth Barone and Sarah Pidgeon.
  • Burner IG: comments about Zoe/Harry and “intentional” vs “calculated.”

1:17hey everybody welcome back to another episode of snark bait we're doing a little bit of a different thing today sophie has a family matter she's taking care of this week so we have the lovely, beautiful, stunning, hilarious OOR hanging out with us today. And I'm so excited to have you back on the mic. Olivia, how are you doing? I'm good. Thank you for having me. I'm excited to be here this morning. Christy and I were just talking about how we're both a little hungover from our sleep medication last night. So we're a little tipsy this morning in a way. So anything we say, you can't hold it against us unless it's really funny then we will take all the credit for that yes please do not hold anything against us today because olivia and i were just saying how we both had some anxiety of like not when you're already tired but you can't go to sleep and then that anxiety makes you even more restless like it's insult to injury and so we both took a sleeping aid yesterday and we were both like oh my god like obviously i want to be here to record and like talk all the things because we have a lot of things on the document but like we're both so sleepy but maybe this will wake us up you know yeah yeah i look forward to how was your um weekend what did you you've been very busy olivia she produces plays she's an actor but how was your weekend it was good i've been so so busy but this is the life i chose this is the life of a show girl you guys um i produced a play this the past two weeks and we closed yesterday so we had strike and all the things.

2:54Are we closed this weekend? But it was really successful and they did an amazing job and it's all great. I'm just been going, going, going. But that is showbiz, baby. Now you have been, she's been like a world traveler. You've been in LA. She's been behind the scenes producing a play. She's still been helping us write for the show. Like you are a woman of many, many roles, many hats, many talents and uh one of them now being a sub in for when either sophie and i are unable to make it every week but um no i'm so happy to hear um we have so many things to talk about and i just want to dive right into it so number one roni reboot which can you even call it a reboot because they're on season three of the reboot anymore i've been saying like reboot of the reboot like they're trying to I don't know if they changed producers or what they did it seems different but I didn't really watch last season I think I tried the first couple episodes but I think I'm all in this season um I like the first two episodes was it has it been so far yep yeah what are you what do you think about it no I'm exactly in the same boat I did watch this uh season one of the roni reboot with like um jenna lyons and everything but i did not watch their sophomore season because and i heard it was a complete flop the only episode i watched was when uba and bryn got into it now i'm realizing uba's not on the show anymore yeah was she on i'm like oh my god because i remember there was a lot of issues with bryn being on the show because people hated her.

4:40I honestly can't remember for what. I briefly remember it, but Uba's not on the show, but now their junior season, the third season of the reboot, has a bunch of newbies. They have Erica Hammond, who is married to Encore Jane, who I did a deep dive on. He is a very impressive man. He's a CEO and founder of Built Rewards, and he also founded technology that ultimately got acquired by Tinder and he's like only 36 years old. He's like very impressive. But yeah, he's like amazing. But then we have Daisy, who is Cy's bestie from their strip club days, although they insist they both are not strippers.

5:20And then we have Haley, who is a bisexual queen who's so funny. She is the brevity and a light that we need on the Roni reboot. And then we have our normal players like Cy, Aaron, and then of course Jessel, but Carol Radzwell has returned. And I am so down with Carol being back. What were your thoughts when Carol was on the OG Rony? Like, were you a Carol girl? I loved Carol. I was always team Carol in the Bethany V Carol, but then I feel like I was swayed a little bit by this just the online chatter about like looking back at it and like oh who was in the right but now thinking knowing what we know now about Bethany and how crazy she is now I'm like okay Carol's looking really really good despite everything despite you know her being in the news lately with the Epstein files and everything I'm like yeah which i think we'll see play out which i'm excited to see play out it's just very interesting to have her on the cast it feels like she's from a a different gender i mean she is from a different generation than the rest of them um and kind of getting her take on things is very interesting as not an she wasn't an og og roni but like to us she's like og she's bringing that og sense back um but yeah i'm really happy to see her on my screen again for sure no same here i too i think when i did watch roni back in the day with the bethany v carol i think i was siding with bethany because maybe that was the popular opinion at the time but i think remembering when i was watching that season thinking it was really sad because they were so close and i was just more like sad that their friendship was dissolving.

7:12But no, I completely agree that Carol being brought back into the fold with all these newbies, these unseasoned cast members, and she's such a veteran, it's such a breath of fresh air. And I remember watching the OG Roni and thinking Carol was far too normal to be on the show. She was always kind of like the normal one amongst like the Dorinda, the Ramona, the Sonia, Luann, Bethany. Like we have the goats. And then you had Carol that was like, what the hell is this nonsense? Like I don't even know how I got here. But I feel like with this group of women, she can offer this like fresher perspective.

7:44And I think she kind of grounds the cast because to me, the new Roni reboot, it's kind of like a bunch of thirsty women, which like, of course, I feel like in 2026, the landscape of how reality television has completely changed and like the thirst is necessary in order to be cast on one of these shows. But Carol brings this, I don't know, this brevity and this breath of fresh air. And I, too, am really excited about her addressing the Epstein files of it all. Because, I mean, if you recall, Carol was so outspoken against the Trump administration. She was super politically vocal. And we love that about her.

8:21And then now to see her in such like a scandal that was Epstein Files is such a diversion from what we remember her as. So I'm excited for that to be addressed. But what did you think about Jessel bringing up the Carolyn Bessette of it all at the dinner table? And she was like, it's a Carolyn Bessette summer. How do you not understand that it's cool? And was she a bitch? and the only thing i could think of was jazzo do you not understand that carolyn was carol's like best friend and you're talking about her as if she's like an influencer that you met on the street like one time i think to her it's it it's this fictional character she sees on her tv show and um she's yeah not understanding that this is a real life person to carol who is also like i can't even watch the show.

9:14And I feel like we can all we all have someone in our lives in the friend group that is is the Jessel is like saying the things that you probably shouldn't say out loud. And it's just like idiotic and you just slap your face. So I think feel like that was relatable, but also just so cringy to watch. And she just yeah, she doesn't get it. I think she just thinks it's a tv show yeah and it was so tone deaf and absurd to hear her ask these stupid questions but part of it was dare i even say refreshing to see back on our tvs to see a lack of tact and um awareness self-aware like people are too they're too self-aware now yeah exactly exactly and she is jessel is anything but self-aware and the cringeworthy like face palm moments of that entire scene, it was entertaining.

10:05And it reminded me, honestly, of Ramona when she would say the stupidest damn things all the time on camera. And everyone was like, oh, my God, why did Ramona just say that? She's like literally ordering and pointing at what she would deem as like the help, her servants or whatever. She was just so tactless. And Jessel's almost like a Ramona light in the scene. So I thought it was tone deaf, absurd. But dare I say, it just reminded me of old school roni and I was kind of obsessed with the scene and mortified on behalf of Carol because Carol was like, you're talking about my best friend, like you just said, like she's a fictional character.

10:42But you have a lot of notes on Carol. So I'm so excited to hear like what you think. You're like a cool girl attitude. Like tell me everything about what you think about Carol. So no, like I just been seeing online, I don't know, Twitter, whatever. I mean, Twitter is just a dark place regardless. Everyone hates everything at all times. but I don't know if it's Gen Z or who it is that is like oh my god I'm so sick of Carol's like cool girl attitude she tries so hard to be so cool and nonchalant she has her shoes in the oven she's working out of her car and and I'm like you guys don't understand Carol's been that girl even when she wasn't on our screens she was that cool girl if you've seen her on the streets of New York wearing her big headphones, not AirPods kind of girl.

11:29Like she has been that girl. She's not trying to do anything. She's a woman of a certain age. She doesn't give a fuck. She's always been like this. She's always been extremely smart. She has a huge career before Roni and in between Roni. And I don't know. I don't know if it's like this internalized misogyny, what it is, but in it, that's been a bit of a lot. A lot of her issues with other women have been like, oh, you're too cool about it. And it's like, no, she just she's not trying to do anything. I mean, all of them are trying to do something. They're on a reality TV show to be on a reality TV show to be an entertainment at all.

12:10You have to try very hard. It is a humiliation ritual in itself. So I like don't get that argument. And it's not like I'm like a huge Carol head or Carol defender by any means, especially with the Epstein-Viles. stuff but i just don't i can't stand by while people knock her for being this try hard when it's just not true that's just like the essence of who she is and hopefully that might drive some conflict here too of that cool girl attitude but i do think she is just cool like she's not she's i don't think she's pick me to me absolutely not erica said it best when she joined her on the street sweeping thing she was like carol's a true new yorker she's not trying like it almost seems like she was just placed in new york from birth and she just like emanates coolness and i think if you didn't watch the og roni then you maybe don't understand but carol's not trying to posture as anything but herself and that was that so much was clear even in the original roni series like she was never trying to be anyone but herself and that's why she was such a stark contrast between all the other all the other ladies and i think that honestly it might also be subconscious ageism on people that are watching her for the first time seeing all these like fresh you know faces erica's probably early 30s like all these women are you know they're in a different generation like we said at the top of the show and so there might be an inherent unconscious ageism or bias against carol because i think also when you get to a certain age and carol how old is she i'm gonna Look it up.

13:48Carol Rads. Well, she's, oh my God, she's 63. I thought she was like in her 50s. Oh, really? Yeah. Did you know she was 63? I was like, I feel like she's my mom's age. I feel like she was, I actually, I met Carol years ago when I was in high school. What? I got dinner with her. It was through a charity that we were a part of, whatever. I got dinner with her. Heather Holla Thompson. Oh, Holla. And who's the blonde skinny lady that has the nail polish? Kristen and her husband. Oh my God, the cheater on Ashley Madison. And he like gave me all this stuff of like a company he was investing in and whatever.

14:34What? But Carol was like, all of them were like how they are on TV one. But like Carol was actually so nice and like texted us after and like gave us because we were visiting New York and we're we're from Missouri. So it was a big deal for us at the time. And she was giving us all these recommendations. She was texting my mom like she brought us out to a party after the dinner with her and Adam. And Adam had his little film camera around his neck being super artsy. Hipster artsy. Yes. And like I was like this is the best night of my entire life. Wait, that is so, Olivia, if you guys didn't know, she has so much lore.

15:15Like Brad Pitt tried to take Olivia's mom on a date like back in the day. Like Olivia and her mom have so much lore and this just adds to it. So that's hilarious. And that makes me so damn happy that Carol was cool because, yeah, I could absolutely just see her being a gal that I get advice from, that it's just you could have a glass of wine with. And she just tells it like it is. I'm also curious, where was she? Where did she grow up? Oh, she was born in New York. Okay, that makes a lot of sense. Like, I was like, she just seems like a native, a native New Yorker. Okay, I need to talk about something that has become a genuine issue in my house.

15:53Hank has decided that everything I own is actually his. And more specifically, my Lola blanket. Like, I'll get myself all set up on the couch, have my blanket, have Gilmore Girls playing, and I'm ready to fully rot for the evening. But within approximately 30 seconds, Hank's on top of me, pushing his way underneath the blanket and just taking over. And I get it, because the second you feel a Lola blanket, you understand why. It's so soft, like ridiculously soft. Lola makes their blankets with this ultra soft luxury faux fur, and there's a reason they have over 20 ,000 five-star reviews. It really is next level.

16:25So when I saw that Lola actually created a Lola pet collection, I was like, okay, finally, Hank can have his own. The Lola pet bed has that same signature ultra soft faux fur, but it's actually designed specifically for pets with an orthopedic foam base that supports their joints and helps them rest more comfortably. It's incredibly plush, holds its shape, and it's designed to help regulate temperature so your pet stays cozy around. And because this is a pet product and we all know what pets do to things, the cover is removable and machine washable. It's completely shed free and it has a durable double stitching so it's actually built to hold up.

16:59Essentially, your pet gets an insanely cozy bed and you finally get your Lola blanket back. And if you already have a Lola Blanket, you know what I'm talking about. And if you don't have one, this is your sign. I'm telling you, once you feel it, you're going to understand the obsession. For a limited time, our listeners can get 40 % off. 20:14Let's move on to secret lives of Mormon wives. And I know that you're lightly like watching and you're aware of all the drama. And at one point you were a Taylor Frankie Paul. Like, I wouldn't say Defender, but we all enjoyed watching Taylor Frankie Paul. No, I totally. Yeah. I mean, I totally back like I was. I thought she was like the next big thing. I was like, she is a great reality television star. Yeah. I've been wrong about these people so many times. I was like the same way about Huda from Love Island. Defending her of like, you guys just don't get it. But I'm like, damn, I was wrong. this one i'm wrong and this one i feel like is even worse because it involves little children and now just like these ladies are too triggering for me to watch but i do consume them through like tiktok and twitter and stuff and see what people are saying but like i cannot it is like painful for me to watch it even though you're like olivia it's five episodes just watch it tonight please and i'm like i i i just physically can't i can't do this honestly the show is very triggering for a multitude of reasons, body image, body dysmorphia, you know, DV.

21:21It's all just very triggering in general. And if you guys, I finally binged all of season five this last weekend. And all that to say, I am genuinely terrified of Taylor Frankie Paul. At this point, we're no longer just witnessing, you know, haphazard antics. This is clearly a woman in severe mental distress. and it almost harkens back to me with like Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright in season two of the valley or dare I even say Sam and Ron in Jersey Shore in season three when he was throwing all of her shit out onto the balcony and moving her bed like I watch clips of Jersey Shore on like TikTok for instance and I see all the comments and people are saying we were casually watching TV and on our screens for entertainment and laughing about it how is this any different like this is 2026, Dakota and Taylor are addicted to one another.

22:11And it was even kind of shocking. There was this one scene where Taylor comes back from The Bachelorette and she and Sophie talked about this last week where Dakota sees her for the first time and he's like, how are you? And Taylor Frankie Paul's like, you know, she's a little bit tired, but she goes, you know, I was really tired before you came here, but now I have this spike, this hit of adrenaline. Like that's literally what drugs do to you. It gives you a spike of adrenaline. They're clearly addicted to one another. And I think it's now becoming very irresponsible for us to platform someone that is clearly in severe mental distress, who has, as you just said, very small children and a huge, huge platform.

22:49I mean, this is one of the most popular reality television shows on our screen right now. And at this point, Taylor Frankie Paul has earned so much money. You have every resource in the world to get help and you're still refusing to do so. And I think that's what's the most frustrating for me. You have people that don't have the means that she has, that doesn't have the support system that she has. All the women are rallying behind her. They want her to get help and she is resisting every point. And it's becoming dangerous to herself. It's becoming dangerous to Dakota and most importantly, her young children.

23:20And there's a lot of discourse online. And I was even thinking about this while I was watching the show of, is there some drug use happening on the show. And people, I'm reading things about like, oh, is she using like potentially like opiates? Dare I even say heroin? I don't think it's that because when you're, I've, unfortunately, I've been around people that have used heroin when I was like really young, like in high school, which is like so scary to even say. But the symptoms of someone using an opiate, like they're more, they're tired. It's a downer. But it doesn't seem like she's that. But her appearance, her eyes do not as someone that could potentially be using.

23:59And maybe it's uppers, whatever it may be, to continue throwing someone that is troubled mentally and could potentially perhaps, you know, I don't know for sure, could be using. And to continue throwing them in the public eye at this point is becoming morally unethical. and I actually this is really sad but I had a friend in high school who started using um like uppers like really like cocaine and stuff when we were like 16 and then she later got into heroin but some of the things her appearance and the way she behaves on screen Taylor Frankie Paul reminds me of like my best friend in high school that um was using at the time and even the way that you're arguing with Taylor Frankie Paul like it's as if when Macy and Michaela were talking to her on the stairwell and trying to address why they were so frustrated when they had that confrontation with her the couple days prior.

24:51You're not speaking to anyone that's really grounded in reality. Like they're trying to have a conversation with her, a productive conversation. And every time they do, Carol, I mean, it's not Carol, Taylor is just, she's talking in circles and she's not even hearing or understanding them. She's not listening. It's like, it truly is fascinating to watch someone hear people talk to them constructively and have it go through one ear and out the other. And one other thing is that Macy said publicly on a TikTok comment under an edit of someone made of her crying in the car after fighting with Taylor, Macy responds to that video saying Taylor may have created mom talk, but she also destroyed it, which is facts.

25:33It's hard because this person has brought, Taylor has brought so much wealth and visibility and fame to these women. And they do owe Taylor, to an extent, their career and the exposure that they've received from Taylor. But at the same time, Taylor is the reason why it's all coming and falling down. And it's just hard to watch someone in such distress mentally. And it's not fun anymore. But I'm curious to hear what you think. I know you didn't watch the season, but you're aware of the discourse. Obviously, you're just as online. So what are your thoughts on all this? Yeah, it's like that classic erratic behavior of someone that you want to help, but you they can't unless they want to help themselves.

26:15And from even from a business standpoint, it doesn't make sense for Hulu or producers or whatever, because like Macy said, she can bring it all down. She is so it's not even Jax Taylor coded it's like it is Jax Taylor in female form of like oh I'm a work in progress I'm working on myself constantly posting about working on yourself constantly making like a rat like the post she is posting on Instagram if that is not a cry for help a cry for something a cry to be have someone some entity intervene because I don't know if you've seen her like post have you seen that video she posted of her framing these photos of like a her ai family her children walking with an ai white jesus and then she's printing it is frame it yep taking everything out of it it is hilarious um framing these photos and like showing her young child and making it like this moody video of like she's really thinking she's doing something and in the photo of her ai walking with a ai white jesus and her children her like she's wearing these her classic sweatpants and her ass is humongous and bulbous and i'm like why are you looking like a thotty with ai white jesus like there's so many layers you know to it and she's like framing all these photos if you're taking yourself and putting yourself in ai in any way in a serious way much less printing them out, much less framing them, much less making a video and posting them.

27:55That is jail time. That is we need intervention right now, regardless of I don't need to see anything else. I've seen what enough to know that you are mentally not OK if you are AI-ing yourself with white Jesus with a fat, juicy ass in your children. Yeah, bulbous. That's hilarious. A bulbous ass. Why are you like popping it with jesus i'm looking at the tiktok that you linked and um it is concerning it's she has like three frame photos and all of her children walking with jesus and like this like at dawn and you're right she has her classic sweatpants and it's yeah it's no longer funny and i i remember that you i mean the fact that you just said it's not even jack's taylor light what she's displaying is what Jax Taylor was displaying in the Valley.

28:44Almost worse because there's like, I mean, he has a young child now, but like she is a child with multiple young children and multiple fathers and families that she's a part. It's almost like more responsibility that she has and she is in no way equipped to parent these children. And even as a business, I don't get why, like it's detrimental to Hulu and producers, whatever, to keep platforming this person without any repercussions. Like, why is she even on this season when we know what we know, what came out before her Bachelorette season was canned? Like, I think it's just irresponsible at this point.

29:28No, that's a good point that the fact that they're filming season six right now and she is cast, that's why Michaela voluntarily left because she's like, I can't in good conscience film with someone like this that's clearly in distress, which we were talking about it offline in our snarkbait group chat. And Rachel, our social manager, was like, I don't even watch it, but like, I love what Michaela's standing for. And I was saying, Michaela's so principled. Like she is leaving behind thousand, like probably over$100 ,000 because she's standing on principle and no longer deciding to film with someone that is clearly such a hazard to themselves and to their children.

30:07And one other thing that I thought was interesting was, I think it was Jessie that said it. She said Taylor is either going to wind up in jail or dead. And I think that was also a nod to potentially the drug use that they know she's doing. Because why would you make that comment unless, again, maybe she was struggling with like SI or maybe she is using. We don't know, but either one of these is not good. And so the fact that Jesse even had to say that, it's like the fact that we're even ruminating on the fact that she could either end up in jail or dead tells me all I need to know that we no longer need to platform this person, period.

30:41it. And it's such a dark comment to make. And I'm sure then it was like and then in the episode, it just like cuts the next scene of like them tick tocking to in a transition. And it's like, this is OK, wait, what? We just move on so quickly from like, I just feel like they're not dealing with it in a serious way. And it makes it it makes light of the situation. It makes it like normalized and i'm like this is should not be normal i mean these girls are already living a life that in my opinion is not normal they are young adults with all these children and um i'm sorry but like going through like religious psychosis with their i'm cult-like religion that they follow is like it's it's they're they're all unwell but then she's on specifically 10x unwell than than the rest of them um agreed it's how old is she taylor frankie is she 30 32 okay yeah and it's it's interesting because michaela's one of the younger ones um because jesse i think is early 30s taylor is but michaela i think is 25 and it's crazy because she's actually displaying the most thoughtful mature 25 yeah 26 she was born in 2000s.

32:02So I know. No way. No, I know. Like, oh, my God. What? I know. But she's displaying the most maturity on the show by choosing to leave and forego probably over 100 grand. They should be at the club. Yeah, I know. Isn't that crazy that she is with this? I can't stand her husband. I can't stand most of the husbands. I'm going to be honest. The only one whose husband I can't see him because he gets minimal airtime as Macy's husband. I think his name is Jacob. But yeah, the fact that Michaela is the most mature but the youngest is not lost on me. Okay, let's move on. I want to talk about Joe Alwyn updating his profile picture on Instagram to him being on the final scene at the Truman Show.

Read the full transcript

32:47And mind you, Joe Alwyn's not really on Instagram. He rarely posts. When he does post, it's like a big deal. He hasn't updated his profile picture in years. And now he just updated it. It's him at the top of the steps of the Truman Show, like basically with his hands out and in a T as if he's like leaving this world. And if you guys are unfamiliar with the Truman Show at the end, Truman has discovered that the reality around him has been constructed. His public life is just entertainment consumption for entertainment consumption. Everyone thinks that they know him, but they really don't. And Truman walks up the stairs and leaves once he realizes that everything is fake.

33:23and with Joe Elwin posting this on his profile picture, people are asking themselves, okay, Joe Elwin knows exactly what he's doing when he makes any public move. Like it's very thoughtful because he is Taylor Swift's ex-boyfriend and unfortunately, whether he likes it or not, you will always be classified as Taylor Swift's ex-boyfriend. No matter what body of work you do, people are going to remember you for exactly that. And I think by him updating his profile picture, knowing how closely Swifties will watch every single move of his, even though they haven't been together in nearly three years, he knows it's going to be dissected and scrutinized and I think this was very intentional from his end he knows that everyone's going to view whatever he does through the lens of being Taylor's ex-boyfriend and people are wondering and myself included is him updating this profile picture admitting that his relationship is fake and I think the gaylers are are being sent into a different orbit because I think they're perceiving this as oh my god he's admitting that this relationship was a first all along.

34:19It was just for show. She really is gay and whatever the thing is. But I think it's not that. I think rather it's Joel Allman admitting that he's finally exiting that era of his life where he has to be like made up for public consumption. And he is ready to leave that behind now that she's married. I don't know if I'm naive for saying that or if the gayler truthers are going to come at me in the comments. But to me, this is kind of just saying, like, I'm done with leading a life that's up for public consumption and I'm just here to live my own life no longer for everyone's entertainment now that me and Taylor are no longer together.

34:56But I'm curious what you made of this. I know you're not like a huge Swifty, are you? Oh my God. Yes, I am. You are? Oh my God. Okay, yes. Sorry. I know Rachel is. I didn't know you were. No, I am. No, I like her music, but I don't like TGPD and I don't like Life of a Showgirl. no i'm a huge huge swifty i was there the night she met travis i'm also a huge chiefs fan you guys so and i was a fan before they were both together and so i feel like i had something to do with it really um but him honestly doing this makes sense why they were together this is giving cringe this is giving that thirsty actor type of guy i know exactly this type of guy um as if people are like waiting with bated breath of like what's joe owen's next move it's like bro you miss the spotlight don't you and all those years of him not wanting to be photographed and not wanting he wants to stay out of her limelight blah blah blah and now him to be also he's been seen everywhere i don't know if he got a new team because now he's all over and football season just started so we're also seeing taylor all over so just very interesting timing with all of this But as if anyone's like, oh, my God, like, yeah, and he is only known as her partner of five years because his body of work doesn't really speak much for him versus her other boyfriends have.

36:26And she's had a lot. Have we some of them? I forget. Forgot she dated them because they have like other careers and stuff that are, you know, quite successful. Yeah. But so him like doing this is so cringy and try hard and thirsty and like, OK. It is thirsty. Now that you're saying that, it is so fucking thirsty. You're absolutely right. Like he knows exactly what he's doing. And he was so like, oh, I love Taylor when she was in her Folklore Evermore stage. And I got to hide away with her long pond. And, you know, we were we weren't for for anyone to look at. And we had that one picture of us hiking with me in jeans or whatever.

37:05But like, that's all you'll get. And then now all of a sudden he's spotted with every woman about town, Mary Beth Barone. He was spotted with Sarah Pidgeon again when we all kind of thought they had broken up or separated. I don't think they were really together, but he was just spotted with her, too. And I love this theory that you have. I did not even put this together about Joe and Mary Beth Barone. Could this be kind of like in Taylor's face? Walk me through this theory. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, I just, Mary Beth, her, she has the Ride podcast with Benny Drama. And they're both so funny and just insanely talented people.

37:39And Benny is also besties with Charlie and her by proxy, Charlie XCX. And as we know, Taylor and Charlie do not get along. And there's all this beef there. Lots of war there. So I'm like, could it be or whoever Joe's team is is like, OK, go out with her and that will really get her. Or is Charlie somewhere laughing? Because we know she's just as petty as Taylor and Joe, too. They all love it. They all love getting into it. So I just thought that was very, very interesting. And also Mary Beth is a queer woman as well. So that's another layer to it. Or she's bisexual. Um, so yeah, just very interesting.

38:27And I also saw this blind item that said, um, which I think is about him, um, from yesterday that, um, this just about A minus list actor knows what he's doing by going out with a different woman each night. All the attention is on him and the fans of the A plus list singer can't help themselves in talking on stop about him. The bird one is the real one, which I don't know who the bird one is. Oh, Sarah Pidgeon, probably. Oh, Pidgeon. Yeah. That's clever. Yeah, that is clever. And I'm like, are we, I guess we're talking about him, but also is he a minus list actor? I don't know. No. Yeah, that's throwing me off.

39:11If I asked someone on the street if they knew who Joe Alwyn is, I don't, I'm not sure. if they I don't know um but uh yes I just found that very interesting that he's now doing all this like these these paparazzi photos are always on purpose it's never accidental um especially someone at this level that they are in the press intentionally so he's he's making moves He's playing games 100%, I think, or his team is or whatever. But I just find it so try hard and cringy. And as a man, you're not allowed to do that. No, you're right. Women can do whatever they want, though. Now that we're talking about this, I'm like, you're right.

39:55This is so calculated. This updated profile picture, him being seen on every headline on page six in Dumois. Like, OK, Joe, you literally are never spotted anywhere. And you were always like a serious actor. or you're just like a tortured, a tortured poet or whatever. But actually, he's not the tortured poet. Matty Healy was. But give me a break, Joe Alwyn. This is, you were so thirsty. And like, I thought you were better than this. I have to ask you, who are you more attracted to? Just, this is a little bit of a shallow question. Who are you more attracted to? Joe Alwyn or Travis Kelsey? Well, Travis, for sure.

40:32Also, yeah, as a Chiefs fan. And he's like, he made some good plays last night. And whenever I watch him play and he does something good, it's almost like seeing your like grandpa or something do something like impressive or like you're like, oh, my gosh, look at him. Like he's trying to run so fast. Like he caught it. Yay. Yay, grandpa. Because at this point on the field, he is older than a lot of a lot of the other guys. And just like he's he's seasoned. And, you know, he's probably going to retire after this year or whatever. But it's he's like my cute little grandpa that I have. And I get so excited.

41:11And when I saw him in real life to for two Christmas, a Christmas or so ago, I went to the Chiefs game up for Christmas and I was like really close to the bench. And I saw and he was just directly right in front of me. And that's when he had his hair grown out a little bit. He like took off his helmet and my sister was like catcalling him and he turns around and like winks at us. And I'm like, okay, he's actually so hot, especially in real, because you're like, he is humongous. He is a tall tree trunk. Wait, how tall is he? I'm going to look it up. He's just a ginormous, and you're like, oh my God, I see it.

41:51Oh my God, 6 '5". And he's like, not only tall, but just like big. Yeah, I know. He's a big guy. I'm like, I see it. i get it he's a himbo and he might have cte but i get it okay and i'm dying that your sister was catcalling like that's like the funniest fucking thing and we were like the away team so everyone was like yelling at us because we were being obnoxious and drunk and whatever it was christmas okay um it was the best christmas ever though because he was he was steamy um wait okay you You know what's funny? I've never found Travis Kelsey is just like not my vibe. Like, I don't know. I'm kind of like more of a Joe girl.

42:38But as you're saying all this, I can imagine being very taken with him if I saw him because of just his he's very statuesque and just kind of a big beefy guy who would like protect me. So I do get that. But my sister, I've talked about this at our live show, but my sister saw Jill Alwyn in London at a cafe. and she asked him if they could sit at the same table because it was like super crowded and he was like she was like he was just like a a tortured tortured artist like he had his airpods in he just was like by himself solemn like he just looked like such a actor and audrey sent me a little soft boy exactly he's a soft boy but audrey sent me a photo of what he was wearing and it was the wackiest outfit like he was audrey was like don't share this with anyone i feel Audrey was like, oh, I feel badly.

43:28Like, don't share this with anyone because I just I don't want to invade his privacy. He clearly just wanted to be left alone. I'm like, could never be me. OK, I'd be circulating that photo every which way to DeMaule, whatever. But he was wearing this like weird pattern coat with like pink pants. And it was just really weird. And that kind of turned me off of him just because I just didn't like the fashion sense. But of course, now when he's spotted on the Brooklyn Bridge with Mary Beth Barone, he's wearing just like jeans and black shirts. So a far cry from what my the ensemble, the wardrobe that he was wearing when my sister came upon him.

44:05OK, let's what were you going to say? No, just well, Travis dresses like an insane clown, too. I was him for Halloween one year of that one out. The first outfit he wore when when when the red to his game knows like the tie dye blue and white ensemble. I like recreated it and painted it in my room for like a month before Halloween. Oh, yeah. And dressed up as him. So bad. Yeah. So like he dresses like a clown. But it's almost again like a grandpa being like, oh, he's trying. Yeah. He seems like a nice guy. Like he genuinely just seems like a nice person. There's just not a lot going on up there.

44:44And you know what? That's all right. Taylor has enough going on in her brain for all of us. So it's all good. So it's just funny these men out here. But good to know that he's also a horrible dresser, Joe. That's so funny because I feel like just because you're an actor, you would have found Joe Allen more of your speed. But good to know. Good to know. Love that for you. Okay, let's move on to Channing Tatum's burner Instagram. I am dying because I, too, saw the discourse online of people saying that he's the new Frank Drummond. And if you guys don't know who Frank Dremmen is, it's a storyline on the Valley how Jax Taylor had this Insta account where he would actually be horrific to Britney, like body shaming her, like dispelling rumors about Jax Taylor.

45:32But everyone found out it was him because he was like DMing Britney, not realizing he was under Frank Dremmen's account and Britney figured it out. But people are basically thinking that Channing Tatum, too, has a burner Instagram where he's commenting about Harry Styles and Zoe Kravitz's relationship. And the reason people think that is because the only follower of this account is Channing Tatum. Zero posts. Yeah. And it's called none your business. Yeah. But now I'm like looking like this is too on the nose. Like is Channing Tatum that dumb? Do you think it's him? Like he kind of, I mean, I can see him being this dumb.

46:16It's also such boomer energy of like, they're never going to know. Like, how would they know? Because it's so secret. It's called non-yobidness. But his comments are, it's like stars are just like us, you guys. Like, I did this shit in high school for sure on my like burner Twitters. But this is like an adult man. Yes, I'm going to read it. But under posts about himself, he's like, oh, he's such a good guy. His ex-wife is so horrible. I'm like, this is so. Zoe knew she was too much of a free bird to settle down, and this one is an adult. You're right. It is kind of boomer energy because, okay, now me dueling everyone's age.

46:58How old is Channing Tatum's age? I mean, he's definitely not a boomer, but the energy of it is like grandpa thinking he's doing something. I feel like he's a older millennial. he's 46 but on this picture of harry styles and zoe kravitz which by the way they are photographed all the time and it makes me wonder why so frequently why are they like doesn't that feel kind of i have no doubt that they're together i'm not saying they're like a pr couple or anything but why are they everywhere all the time right i yeah and it also you know coincides with his residency here in new york so oh you're you're right they definitely are calling the paps on them because I swear to God, there's a new picture of them walking the streets of New York with him in his shorts and her and her low rise, you know, dark jeans with her white top.

47:45Like they're always together. But Channing Tatum writes on this one picture. When I see these two, I think back at how her former fiance called her the most intentional person he knows. I wonder how contextual he was being, which I don't even understand what that means. And then someone goes, what does that mean? Genuinely asking. And then Bidnis Nanya says, to me, intentional means calculated. He was speaking in terms of filmmaking, but leaning towards her as a person in general, too. Now she is constantly spotted with Harry compared to the ex who you heard about long before they were seen together.

48:16And when they were seen together, it was far less frequent. It could be nothing, but it just made me think. Basically insinuating that he thinks that they're thirsty. And like, honestly, if I lost a woman as hot and talented as Zoe Kravitz, I would probably go into burner ig psychosis as well like she's the hottest person ever genuinely i'm like to me even if she's calculated she can do whatever the fuck she wants okay hell yeah she is that hot that she deserves the right to fuck harry styles and walk around with him and do whatever she's fucked are the hottest men channing tatum was that guy yes and now and like so it's this is kind of just relatable of like when the hottest person alive dumps you or whatever you and things and now she's with the other hottest guy alive yes like that would send me into a tailspin and this is just like one of those hilarious uh celebrity things that happen that are it's just so petty and like low stakes enough that it's amazing and hilarious and i hope none your business keeps going i can't wait to see what they post next.

49:30I know it is so low stakes and hilarious and it's kind of taken the internet by storm but it is hilarious to see and Zoe Kravitz too she has like quite the roster the impressive roster did you know she also dated Penn Badgley like way back in the day? Oh yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Right. She's dreamy too. Zoe Kravitz. It's always that it boy and she's just she's also that cool girl okay she is cool to her core like you can't be a kravitz and not babe but like wait people are saying she on this article on grazia daily.co.uk they're saying she dated austin beller briefly after channing tatum and her separated okay yeah i mean i wouldn't put it past her another hottie she's probably just like come over and everyone's just like immediate yes yeah And there's also those rumors of her and Taylor, too.

50:26Yes. Yes, her and Taylor as well. Oh, my gosh. Yeah. Speaking of Gaylor fandom, which, by the way, guys, next week on the Patreon, we're going to be talking about the entire Maddie Healy, Taylor Swift. So excited. So Rachel is a Swifty, like Olivia and I. I would even argue she may be even more of a Swifty than both of us combined. like she knows her shit and she wrote like probably a 12 page 13 page document no pictures just words about the dissecting the maddie healy and taylor lore and i thought i knew everything i was barely scratching the surface rachel was so detailed in her research to every song that's ever been written the timeline all the way from 2014 like she knows her shit so if you guys want to subscribe to our patreon.com slash snarkbaitpod it's also in the show notes uh rachel will walk us through that um wednesday of next week and tomorrow on the patreon just because we're talking about patreon sophie walks us through this seoul ferry disaster in south korea it is a devastating story but i think sophie did a really good job explaining of what happened um a bunch of uh young kids like high school kids were in a ferry that capsized and there was no way to escape and many of them drowned.

51:46It's very, very sad. But that's on the Patreon, just by the way. But before we get into DEOs and LEOs, or I need you to walk me through today, Tuesday is SFK's book launch day, and she has been thirsting, thirsting online. Do you guys know how many people have sent us Instagram stories of her that we cannot see because we're blocked of her begging people to buy it? But I love that you subscribed to her newsletter. What are your thoughts on her book launch day today. Yeah, if you guys don't know, me and SFK are besties. She liked one of my TikToks at some point. So yeah. And I'm subscribed to my newsletter.

52:24I also, I'm subscribed to so many random newsletters because I write our newsletter. So I just want to see like what everyone else is kind of doing. Of course. Usually I don't open them, but this week I was like, it's release day. So I got two. I mean, this is so low on the totem pole of necessary information, but if you're like me you've been counting down the days of her coffee table book and we've discussed we've discussed this at length at nauseam of how she is lit quite literally on her knees begging people and she's trying to be self-aware in her newsletter of like if you somehow miss me screaming about it with all my dogs um my book comes out tuesday so if you don't know about that by now i respect your ability to avoid my marketing of being like guys i know i'm crazy about it but i'm like girl if you know then you should stop um but like do we need another book of how to look inward ask ourselves certain questions gazing at our own navel staying inside when maybe if we just participate in society we'd all be better off um instead of just thinking about your ideal man and what what man you're bringing in and blah blah blah i'm like we've we have enough of these books and it's like is it a coffee table because like coffee table books I thought were like you know my coffee table books are like Keith Heron photos of like his artwork like they're not like something you sit down and read and like work on and if you walked into someone's home and they had a book on their coffee table that said let's fucking date enough enough sorry keep going just if I saw that enough like I'm leaving the home immediately sorry I'm like do I pre-order this for early Christmas present for Christy or something like this would show up you're like what the fuck is this ugly piece of shit i know i know my my uh family fun baby maria that we talk about on the show we've influenced her now to like hate follow sfk in the way that maria always sends me stuff can you believe she's even coming out with this book but i'm pretty sure maria is going to buy it because she's like a hate follower maybe even fan i'm like please i'm tempted but i do want to see like what she's because you know she's gonna if she doesn't make the bestsellers list, like what, how she's going to pivot because she's the queen of confidence.

54:39So yeah, she's got, she knows exactly what to do if it doesn't happen because she is queen. But like also as if she's like, we all are dying to be with someone like Fifi. Yeah. I mean, it's just like hilarious. Like the, the concept of Fifi on its own. and we've talked about it a lot but it's so funny yeah no i know and the way that we clown on him all the time and i feel badly because we have a mutual i won't air this person's you know name because i don't want to dox them but we have a mutual friend of serena fucking kerrigan and fifi's and this person was like listen listen he's lovely like i know you guys hate on him but Like, he's a lovely person.

55:26I'm like, huh. Okay. Well, no, I'm sure he is. But their relationship is, it's a little too much for me sometimes on screen, on their Instagram. Yeah. And it's like she gave a little teaser of her book in the newsletter of like, are you actually, like, journal about this? Are you actually ready for the person you want? And I'm like, OK, maybe they're just not born yet because Fifi's talk about being born in 2000 something. She should just have that be like, maybe they're not born yet. So don't even worry about it. Just go like rob a cradle. Go to the nearest hospital. My only thing of Fifi like that I know, because like I don't follow SFK as much as you guys do.

56:15But that one thing that is like deeply ingrained in my brain is that commercial that they shot. for like if it was a vibrator or trojan condoms or a condom company but when they were like she was like in the kitchen and they were like having sex or something do you know which one i'm talking about it was really disturbing and like that's the only thing that seared into my brain against my will are they're like making like sexual innuendo like jokes throughout it or something yes yes right and she's like so in her like cadence of speaking is so aggressive and it's like fucking do this and it's like jesus christ woman like don't yell at me like i just woke up like please i don't need you screaming this is it's 7 a.m does he does he refer to himself as fp by the way or do we call him that um she calls him that our is it i don't know Or is that like a thing on Reddit?

57:13No, I think she calls him Fifi. And that adds up too. Felix is the name, Felix. Yeah, and like that makes it worse. You know what I mean? Yeah. Like it just, yeah, I don't love that. As you guys know, I am obsessed with cozy season. Once the weather cools down, all I want to do is snuggle up with Baxter and put on a spooky movie. and that's why having a cozy bed this time of year is so important to me. It really makes all the difference. Quince has been my go-to for bedding for so long now with high quality materials like 100 % European linen and organic cotton. You can literally feel the difference.

57:53You will wake up feeling like you're in a hotel bed. It's that serious. Quince has everything you need to make your bed the best and coziest place to be with quilts, coverlets, juvet inserts, etc. that are so perfect for this time of year. I have the organic cotton gauze dream quilt. It's the perfect extra layer when nights get chillier. But in case you need a reminder, everything at Quince is 50 to 80 % less than similar brands because they work directly with ethical manufacturers and cut out the middleman. So you're paying for quality materials without the luxury markup. Make your bed your favorite place to be this season with Quince.

58:28Download the Quince app for app-exclusive offers or go to quince.com slash snarkbait. Get free shipping on your order and 365 day returns. Now available in Canada and the UK too. That's quince.com slash snarkbait. You guys know I go through these phases where I'm like, okay, I'm finally gonna clean out my closet and then I end up finding pieces I completely forgot I even owned. But there are always those things that I keep telling myself I'm gonna wear again. And let's be honest, it's just not happening. That's why I'm so excited that today's episode is sponsored by Vinted. Vinted is a secondhand marketplace app that makes really easy to sell clothes you're no longer wearing.

59:07I finally started listing some of the things that were just taking up space and honestly, Vinted made the whole process so simple. Listing items was quick and once something sold, Vinted created the prepaid shipping label for me, which made it so easy to actually follow through. Plus there are no seller fees. You keep everything you earn and the Vinted app is free to download. It's honestly such a satisfying way to clear out your closet and make a little extra money at the same time. So if you've been staring at a closet full of clothes you never wear, this is your sign. Download the Vinted app for free and start listing today.

59:38With no seller fees, you keep every dollar you earn. And for a limited time, enjoy free shipping in the U.S. on Vinted. Fall never arrives all at once. First the air, then the light. And slowly the things you love begin to find each other. A jacket meets a dress. A hoodie slips beneath a blazer. An old cap finds a new scarf. Because you don't simply step into the season. You create it layer by layer until it finally feels like fall. Find fall your way at Ross.

1:00:29From the director of Birdman and The Revenant. What would happen if I stopped doing it? You stalled. You freeze to death. That's what. With great power comes great deniability. I'm not the first nanny. Digger. See the trailer online. Only in the years October 2nd. Rated R. Under 17 on a minute without parent. Okay, well, speaking of dark, let's move into dark energy objects. Okay, so as you guys know, I just recently returned home from London. and I was supposed to leave, I think, on like, I don't know, the 10th or something of September. And three hours or four hours before I was set to leave from my home to LAX, I checked the Virgin Atlantic app and my flight was canceled.

1:01:18And they said rebook here. So I click on the rebook. The only flights available for rebooking were the following day, all with layovers that were one hour. And the layover wasn't like LAX to Amsterdam, Amsterdam to London. No, it was LAX to Seattle, SeaTac, Seattle to London. And I was so fucking pissed because I had all these plans. I had booked these cars. I had booked, you know, accommodations. I booked trains. I had to cancel all of it. I had a file for, you know, travel cancellation insurance through Book Chase Sapphire, as well as through Virgin Atlantic. And it was just like, it was very stressful.

1:02:03And all I have to say is I'm a United girl through and through. I know people have their own. I know Delta is like the best. Delta just doesn't fly out of like the airports that I usually travel out to or they're really expensive. So I'm a United girl. And all I have to say is United would have never done me dirty like this. Like Virgin Atlantic, go fuck yourself. Like, it really pissed me off. So I ended up just buying a flight, a direct flight with United from LAX to Heathrow because I was like, I can't risk losing another day of travel. That got in like 12 hours earlier because I was like, I can't risk not making my layover flight and my luggage getting lost.

1:02:40Like, it would stress me out more. So I ended up just buying a direct flight from LA to Heathrow. And it just pissed me off. It was really dark and really stressful. So that's mine. no there have been these airlines have been on their bullshit lately regardless of you could be like unless you're flying a pj you simply are fucked like and you're going across the country to another country one hour layover that just doesn't work ever exactly i'm like that's basically it's impossible yeah so i was like i can't deal with this i'm already stressed like it would just i will pay for my peace of mind to just book a direct flight with a completely separate airline and take the hit and try and see if whatever chase can refund me for all the other stuff later but it was a very stressful week going to or day trying to get to london and then my it was sucked because i was traveling with a with a girlfriend of mine and we had scheduled she was flying out of san francisco and i was flying out of la and her flight with virgin atlantic was not canceled and mine was so then she had to it was a whole fucking it was oh and by the way another thing that was dark was that Virgin Atlantic, there were nonstop flights from LAX to LHR, but they chose to rebook.

1:03:50The only rebooking alternatives were with Leo versus Seattle. So make that make sense. No, they intentionally want to fuck you so that you can are then stuck in Seattle. So then you buy another flight. Yes. That's an inside job. No, it is. A hundred percent. I fully believe that. So what's yours? OK, I feel like I should choose one because I have a couple I could really go off on. um but um this is okay i'll do a funny one um is anyone else's like husband boyfriend partner i feel like it's usually a male that i've ever seen do this whenever they're brushing their teeth in the morning or at night why are you gagging on that thing why i'm trying to i'm winding down for the night i am doing my skincare i am brushing my teeth um thankfully i have a separate bathroom from my partner i just think that's that's the key to love that's what heather gibral always said no i mean sfk should put it in her book yeah um that um but why are you over there like scraping your tongue brushing your teeth whatever but i hear you like what i'm sorry i'm so sorry to listeners for making that noise but like gagging you know you know where you're where the point of no return when you're going back there so like why are you like slop like do you like it does anyone else's male partner do this i've never seen a woman do this because we know we know our bodies maybe a little bit more i'm not sure but like why are you scraping so deep back there if you are like gagging on that thing i'm just thinking of dan just like in his little bathroom like brush flossing and brushing and just like he's gonna kill me but and his mom listens to this so really yeah oh love her shout out to dan's mom no dan is hilarious the way that me and olivia the entire tour were trolling dan for his f45 obsession like it was no breaks guys no he really doesn't like the entire trip olivia and i were just like every time we saw an f45 like take a picture send it to dan like it was a whole it was a whole bit on our tour um no love him he was at i remember during our chicago tour uh dan was so sweet he came to chicago to watch us and obviously be with olivia and support olivia and i remember making eye contact with eye contact with dan in the crowd and being like i can't say these jokes over again because like dan's watching i don't know just being so unconscious i don't know because like i for whatever reason my eyes blocked on Dan and I was like okay now I feel like you know the show isn't as good because Dan's heard these already you know yeah now you'll picture him just gagging on his punk scraper love Dan why do men do this he's so funny okay like don't hurt yourself yeah I know I know come on is this your first time flossing and brushing um okay so Elio's I will do one okay So we've Sophie and I talk about our love for Chobani creamer all the time in a sweet, sweet baby snark.

1:06:56Shout out to Ali. She messaged us and was like, wait, I am a baby snark. I heard you guys love for Chobani. And she sent us like a care package of a bunch of different creamers. So I love that for us. My favorite so far. Well, it's the only one I've opened so far is the Oreo. Delicious. uh shout out to Allie and to Giovanni for making my dreams come true it was like and she wrote this really really sweet no and I was like oh my god we don't deserve listeners like this like they're so sweet and she took the time out of her day to like write a really long thoughtful no and I was like they don't make them like this anymore you know what I mean and there's nothing like a good creamer with your coffee to really like get you going in the morning especially if it's a new one you're gambling kind of on a new flavor and it works there's no better feeling no i know it was just like so so thoughtful of her and i was like it a lot of people just like they don't it takes effort to do anything like that to like coordinate shipping everything writing a letter no less along with the shipment it was just like so thoughtful and i was like okay this girl is a queen love her forever love shobani forever that's so so sweet yes ali thank you so much um okay what are yours okay uh okay have you seen this it's a little bit uh maybe a couple weeks old but um the new luke bryan song um is being meme-ified um and then it just country songs in general are so funny sometimes but the lyrics of his new song are like slam goes the door flying goes the dust break goes the heart to the bar goes the truck and every and there's a comment and there was a comment that went viral on on the music video he like posted on his page or something and then someone said fart goes the butt

1:08:56and everyone is saying fart goes the butt for like every and reading the comments someone's just like what goes the fuck and someone goes someone wrote he's listing things again like i don't really listen to luke bryant i'm more of a luke combs girl oh yeah yeah luke bryant what i mean he had he was that that guy in his heyday and like early 2010s i think when i certainly listened to him unironically But like, just like in this. And like, I'm sorry. Fart jokes will always be funny. And like, I am a 12 year old boy from time to time. But like that shit just cracks me up. So whoever wrote fart goes the butt on Luke Bryan's TikTok.

1:09:50I love you. Praise. Someone wrote on this rain makes corn, corn makes whiskey. Actual Luke Bryan lyric. No, yeah, that was a banger. But, like, that one had more, it was less like a toxin. It was like, corn makes whiskey. Like, that had some depth to it, okay? Because corn, you know, does make whiskey. And we don't really think about that all the time. Yeah, I didn't even realize that. We certainly know fart goes the butt or that slam goes the door. You know what I mean? We do know this about doors, that they do be slamming. But not necessarily everyone knows that corn makes whiskey. So like I appreciated that for sure.

1:10:29But now he's just kind of reheating these these nachos and even like dumbing it down even more. But it's just it is incredible and hilarious. And I'm so grateful for Fart Goes the Butt. That's hilarious. No, I'm that makes me not want to listen to Luke Bryan because, again, more of a Luke Combs girl. Not that there needs to be a comparison only because they have the same first name and both in country. But Luke Bryan, I feel like it's kind of sad. I feel like as he's gotten older, like his songs aren't hitting as much. I don't know. Please, country fans, let me know. I'm like a fake country fan listener.

1:11:05I'll listen to like pop country. Like, you know, Luke Holmes. It's kind of, yeah. Casey Musgraves, Kelsey Valerie. He's like the white bread of the country music now. There was a time when he was formative in terms of like being the pop country thing. but now I think he's like grandpa energy where he's just like churning out whatever and yeah for his contract probably it's basically AI music but there is a market for that because there's a lot of dumb people out there so 100 yeah and if you're one of those people I was gonna say um the one true country artist that I like Eric Church I saw him in concert yeah he was I am I knew him like I don't know his new stuff but I used to listen to him for sure I was like, I'm from Missouri, so.

1:11:49Oh, yeah. I'm a country girl. Yeah. Not so much anymore, but. You know who else country artist kind of annoys me is Sam Hunt. Hunt. How he's talking all the time in his songs. It's like, can you just sing? I don't want to hear you speak like a voice memo. He's always talking. I have a personal connection to him I can talk to you offline about. Really? But I knew someone who was very, very close with him. And he's not a good guy. No. Yeah, remember when he got a DUI in 2019? Yeah. And he's like not, wasn't good to his wife. And there was a whole thing. And he's been in trouble a lot. I've heard he's not a good guy.

1:12:31This is so niche. But do you remember when Andy Dorfman was allegedly dating him? Yes. And I, yes. The person I know was also in this circle. was in the bachelor circle oh and then their partner got with another bachelor person cheated on them ruined their marriage but that's yeah that's oh that did you again alivia with laura she always like will drop certain things i'm like what did you just say but they're okay they're allegedly denying it i just googled it because this is like something locked in my memory from this was in 2015 like how do i remember this but yeah when they were like partying on yachts with like Gronk and football players and other people.

1:13:20Andy was? Yeah, like the Bachelor people and the Sam Hunt group. It's like a Nashville circle. Oh, okay. Love that. Do you listen to, well, speaking of Bachelor and country, do you listen to Chris Lane? I'm familiar with the name. I can't tell you a single song off my head. but no i mean i only know that that one song he made for laura when he proposed do you remember again this is so this is so bachelor niche um okay well we're gonna end it there but olivia thank you so much for joining me on dark energy tuesday and i'm sure sophie thanks you too we are so excited for you to have been here for this is like your fourth time or i don't know but like you're a seasoned you're a seasoned vet slash podcaster at this point i I never have to like, you know, sometimes when you guess, you're kind of scared about the energy of like what the other co-host could do.

1:14:17But like it's always so easy talking to you. So thank you so much for joining us. And you guys, if you didn't know, like Olivia said in the episode, she writes our Substack. Substack, what's the handle? It's in our show notes. Yeah, Substack.com slash SnarkBakePod or SnarkBakePod.Substack.com. Just go to our show notes, go to our link tree, whatever it is in our Instagram. because subsec is kind of confusing that way. But subscribe to it and you will get it every Friday morning in the written form, just kind of the same sort of nonsense that we like to snark on and shit on people. And I put funny photos in there.

1:14:54So look at it. No, it's such a funny read. And we put links we're loving, shows we're watching, reality TV recaps. It's a lot of fun over there. And also our merch just went live. um and we obviously patrons got first dibs but we have some crew necks left and why are people sleeping on the water bottles like the water bottle is the most practical thing that i have no it's amazing such good it's like legitimate quality it's what's the brand again it's like oh a walla um it's similar to a walla but it's like an insulated big ass um water bottle with snarky on the side it's really cute but like tasteful pink and um get them in now because we really have a limited quantity of everything some of the sweatshirts are already sold out so and it's leftover merch from our live shows that we did not sell so this is just a one-time thing you guys so i would get your orders in now and please also do it before i leave for uh italy next week so do it before then because i'm i'm doing that i'm in charge of it so if you want to get your water bottle get your hat also the hats are super super cute black hat with tiny dark energy on it super tasteful and like goes with everything and i think they're really cool so yep it's depop.com slash snarkbait pod um so we will link that in the show notes as well yeah we have sweatshirts limited crew necks sweatshirts uh black baseball caps that say dark energy in white italic Times New Roman font.

1:16:34And again, my favorite thing is genuinely the water bottles because it is so practical and it's like my emotional support water bottle that I take to work all the time. So head over there and we will see you guys tomorrow on Patreon. If you're a patron, patreon.com slash snarkpaypod. Or we will see you on Thursday for another episode of What's a Snark? We are covering, speaking of Bachelor, we're speaking, we're talking about a very OG Bachelorette that I followed like religiously back in the day. So we look forward to seeing you guys at whatever point. And thank you, Olivia, for joining us. Thanks, guys.

1:17:15It's so, so fun. So fun. Talk to you tomorrow. Bye.
