In short
Snarkbait “Dark Energy Tuesday” episode recaps Summer House Reunion Part 1, focusing on the Wes and Amanda scandal, alleged timeline lies, and cast dynamics; they also tease Patreon coverage of Julianna Rancic and mention other pop-culture items.
Guests
No guest interviewees. Hosts are Christy and Sophie (they discuss as a two-person panel).
Key claims
- Wes and Amanda appear “calm” and “zanned out,” suggesting they took medication (e.g., beta blockers) before filming.
- The reunion contradicts earlier claims about when they had sex; hosts argue the timeline is inconsistent (e.g., “after the statement” vs. later details).
- Bravo may have edited out a leaked-audio detail about an “intimate situation,” possibly to avoid liability (including revenge-porn concerns).
- Amanda’s behavior is described as smug, aggressive, emotionless, and unremorseful; Sierra is portrayed as justified and angry.
- Wes is accused of fraudulence and inauthenticity, including a “secret girlfriend” (Miha) and not apologizing to close castmates like KJ.
Notable examples
- Andy asks when sex first happened; Amanda answers “after the statement,” with Wes reacting in shock.
- Sierra calls out Wes’s pattern of dropping people and claims he’ll do the same to Amanda.
- Mia’s lines: “Amanda went from being someone’s wife to being Wes’s side bitch,” and “not girlfriend, we were seeing each other.”

My kitchen runner, foyer runner, outdoor balcony rug, and living room rug are all ruggable. I'm not exaggerating. Not only do they have the chicest designs for whatever you're looking for, whether your style is boho, modern, classic, the rugs are both stain resistant and machine washable. This is key for me as a New Yorker with a dog. You don't even want to know what kind of city sludge he can drag into the house on any given day.
0:33But with Ruggable, you don't have to worry about professional carpet cleaners or big machines. You can just throw it in the wash and it comes out looking as high quality as the day you got it. It's truly a game changer. Oh, and the non-slip backing that every single one of the rugs has, also key for having a dog with the zoomies. So they're functional for high traffic homes, yes, but they're also fashionable. I truly take pride in my interior design skills, and my guests always compliment my rugs. Thanks, Ruggable. 2:47Pretty chill, pretty relaxing. I'm like, what did I even do this weekend? Like nothing, but you had a wild night. I know, just telling Sophie, we got like our times mixed up. It was completely my bad. And she texted me, she's like, hey, we still jumping on, right? And five. And I'm like, literally, I was like, hey. And you were like, I'm still in bed. I was like, oh, I'm still in bed. She meant 3 p.m. ET, and I took it as 3 p.m. PT last week. So it was my fault. But yeah, hey, we're jumping on in five. I'm in the room. I had my makeup fresh. I was ready. You were still in bed. I literally just jumped out of bed.
3:28So no, it was really fun. I have had such a, like the past two weeks, I've been very stressful at my normal job. Like I literally was having like a panic attack on Friday at like 730. I like called my coworker and I was like, dude, nothing's working. and I've just been like going through it. I feel like my cortisol has been spiked all week. So I was like, I'm going to take it easy this entire weekend. Like I'm going to read, I'm going to binge TV. And my best friend, Sarah, she was like, no, I know. She was like, do you want to, and she has a channel. You guys should go and follow her at housewife, no husband.
3:59It's super funny. She does like these really funny reels or whatever. And she was like, I want you to help me film a couple things. And so can I come over? Cause you have a driveway. And like part of the reel was like me being in the driveway and driving away. So I was like, yeah, come over, whatever. So she came over and she's like, do you want to just like go out? And I was like, not really. I don't love going out. I don't love drinking. But we usually go out in Newport. But Newport is just, I don't know, it's a different vibe out there. And we're like, let's go out down to San Juan Capistrano.
4:25So that's like South Orange County. And there's a really cute area. It's like this downtown is kind of like Spanish influenced. So there's like missions and old railroads and like, it's very cute. But you just like never go out there unless you live down there. So I was like, yeah, let's go out there. We met this fabulous couple when we were out at dinner. And they were so nice. They, like, didn't drink. But they were like, come to this bar with us after. So we're like, okay. And Sarah was like, I don't really love this bar. I feel like there's, like, a lot of young people, whatever. And we were talking to this couple.
4:54They're like, no, no, no, no, no. There's, like, people from every single age group. Like, 21 all the way to, like, 71. And it's, like, this cowboy bar. And people are line dancing. And it's just, like, good old country folk. You know what I mean? Oh, my God. That's so fun. It was really fun. So we walked in. It's, like, packed. I was texting my coworker who also lives in the area and I was like, where do we go to see straight monogamous men that are interested in monogamy? And my coworker was like, yeah, you got to go to Swallows because a lot of wedding parties go in like after. So we're like, sounds great.
5:25So we walked like two steps to Swallows Inn and it was so freaking fun. We just like met all these people. We became best friends with this couple. Everyone was dancing. People were asking us to dance. It was just like a good old, good old fashioned night. You know what I mean? Oh, I love that for you. That sounds so fun. It was really fun. And we met some people from out of town. We were just like gabbing with everyone and everyone was super nice. And it's one of those bars, like they filmed like Real Housewives of Orange County there a couple of times. It's one of those dive bars, but it's like also kind of cowboy-y and there's like bras up in the rafters on the ceiling.
6:00It's very like, I know it's kind of like Coyote Ugly vibes or I don't know. I love that. We were having a grand old time and that's why I slept in. But I was like, you know what? I should have slept in anyway, even if I didn't go out because this past week has been so stressful. So you deserve it, you know. But anyways, I love a good girls night out. I actually was out to dinner at one of our neighborhood Han called Cafe Mod on the Upper East Side. And it always has like a really long line, but it goes pretty fast. And we just go there all the time because it's really close and just easy. and like the food is like solid, but we always joke that it tastes like AI generated.
6:37Like it's like AI generated food. Totally. Like why are so many people waiting? Yeah. Yeah, literally. And so we were at Cafe Mod and then I see like a girl's and I was with Henry and Baxter, my boys. The boys. And then I saw a group of girls that were like definitely in their early 20s with like their heels on and their little mini dresses, even though it was like a little bit chilly out last night. And I was like, oh my God, the good old days. It's been too long since I've had a girl's night. We'd love to see... The girl's out there shaking their thing, you know? Yeah, absolutely. So that is my day.
7:10I kind of have a little bit of a headache, but there's nothing that some water can't fix. And maybe some K2O Sprinter. Yeah, now you can get our recordings over with and then you can like relax for the rest of the day. We're recording Patreon right after this. I'm so excited for this week's Patreon. We are talking about the downfall of Juliana Rancic and that whole situation that happened with her. So I am excited to record that after this. So we're doing a two a day. I'm really excited for that, by the way, because I feel like so many of us who consume pop culture, we've talked about this before, where everyone wanted to be Julianna Rancic.
7:46And of course, the landscape of entertainment news has changed so much, even in the last like seven, eight years. But Julianna Rancic was so critical to all of that in the early 2000s. And it is crazy how like one moment it was so stark. I feel like her being everywhere and then kind of being nowhere. And I'm assuming she's made enough money to where she doesn't really need to work anymore. Well, she works still, but in a different way. Like, she used to be just so visible to us pop culture lovers. Like, I would watch E! News every single night after work at 7 p.m. I was so excited to watch it every single night.
8:21And I just, I feel like I grew up on her. And then she's still out there just in a different capacity. So we will talk about that over on Patreon. Obviously, the Zendaya scandal is at the center of it. But yeah, like you said, the red carpet landscape is so different than it was. I mean, we have Jake Shane and Paige DeSorbo and Hannah Burner. Yeah, it's social media influencers now. Right. So yeah, we will talk all about that over on Patreon. Episodes drop tomorrow, Wednesday. Okay, let's get into it. We need to talk about the Summer House Reunion Part 1. Part 2 obviously airs tonight. but a lot went down.
8:59A lot happened on the part one that I have now watched three times. Good for you, dude. You came in prepared. I noticed Easter eggs every single time that I had not noticed before. Oh, I'm excited for you to walk us through this. What did you think of Reunion part one? First of all, I did it Instagram and it kind of went viral. I didn't think it was actually going to do well. But I essentially said that it's very clear to me that West and Amanda were on something. Maybe it was a beta blocker like propanolol. Perhaps it was Xanax. I don't know what it was, but their energy was so calm and collected.
9:32And I think given that they were going into the lines then, it was, I think, surprising for a lot of us to say, you know, everyone is coming out here like they're coming out here swinging. And Amanda and West couldn't have been chiller about it. And I think a lot of that is likely attributable to them taking maybe a medication before, which genuinely I don't blame them. Like if I were put in that position, I probably myself would have taken a beta blocker not as annexed because i feel like that would make you impaired but something is definitely going on and the fact that i think amanda i mean west first of all barely said anything at the reunion amanda i mean as we expected because he doesn't speak he's mute when he comes to these things when he's confronted with his own behavior amanda was so smug and aggressive and i think that is really triggering people even though they may not have been as bothered by amanda before this and they might have been like well sierra was kind of stupid to pick the relationship back up.
10:20I think everyone collectively is very disappointed and quite honestly shocked by Amanda's behavior last night or last week. It is shocking because what's the strategy here, right? Like, I feel like if she had come in deeply apologetic, remorseful, as if she cared at all, but instead she came in combative, unremorseful, emotionless, and like you said, seems like she was on something. Just her demeanor was very, seemed a little zanned out. Yeah. If I'm being honest. And I've never taken a beta blocker. From what I know about beta blockers, it doesn't like change your personality. It just makes you less anxious and nervous.
10:57Yeah. Like it just basically reduces any physical symptoms you would otherwise experience if you are nervous, like shaky hands, racing heart. Doesn't take away the anxiety, but it'll reduce the physical symptoms that aggravate the anxiety to begin with. Right. And she just seemed so, I don't know, like zanned out. There was something about her demeanor that was so unsettling to me. It's crazy because, like I said, as a retired Batula hoop, I'm like, she used to be normal. She was not always like this. I'm sorry. I really, something is going on with her. It was very alarming. And they clearly do not give a fuck.
11:34They came into this reunion feeling like they did nothing wrong. They were probably even a little bit pissed off at Sierra and the rest of the cast because they feel like they have been, you know, completely ripped to shreds by the media and the Bravo audience, which is no one's fault but their own. Let's be honest. But the fact that they were unremorseful, emotionless, Wes was obviously like silent, not defending his girl at all. But they're clearly fucking lying about the timeline. And why? At this point, just be honest. You're only making it worse. Yeah, everyone. There is not a single person that watches Summer House that believes the timeline of up until the day that we made the joint statement, we hadn't been physically intimate.
12:17And there's a lot of things coming out. And I think the most notable thing for me, I know many, many a Bravo fan has released timelines. I think the most stark thing for me about the timeline is initially you said that the reason you even decided to release that joint statement to begin with was because there was a compromising video of Amanda of her saying, quote, I was in an intimate situation. where I was scared it would be leaked. So we had to get ahead of it. What intimate situation. That was in the leaked audio. Yes. And it seems like they edited it out of the reunion, which makes me put on my tinfoil hat and wonder why the Bravo editors are trying to potentially protect her.
12:49Protect. Wait, that's a great point because her saying that there was a video that was putting them in a compromising position, that was not actually aired on either the uncensored extended version on Peacock or live. And the only reason we know about that is because, yeah, last month we heard the leaked audio. But that in and of itself tells me that they're lying. They were definitely having sex. In that leaked audio, like you said, Amanda says the statement was rushed because of the photo or video of her in a compromising position. But then they said, you know, in the reunion that aired, they didn't have sex until after the statement.
13:19So I'm curious, again, like is Bravo trying to protect or softened her edit? Or is this a liability because it has to do with potential revenge porn? Either way, the leaked audio, So thank God for that Bravo employee, that former Bravo employee that has since been fired. But I would have loved more pushback on this. The fact that they are clearly lying about the timeline. Quick question. Why are sports bras so hard to shop for? They're either uncomfortable, hard to put on, tight, not supportive enough, or ugly. Well, things like low energy, mood swings, or just feeling run down, a lot of that can come from not getting the right nutrients consistently. And believe it or not, most of us have small gaps in our nutrition, especially with busy schedules. That's what led me to First Day Multivitamins for Women.
15:10They contain a blend of 21 organic superfoods and 9 key vitamins, all in 2, delicious by the way, daily gummy vitamins. It's finally summer, which means all of us, hopefully most of us, are going to be spending a lot more time outside touching grass. And when was the last time you upgraded your outdoor furniture situation? Wayfair is your one-stop shop for outdoor seating, grills, appliances, patio lighting, storage, rugs, decor, you name it.
16:17Everything you need to make your outdoor area the best seat in the house. We only have an itty-bitty balcony in New York City, but thanks to Wayfair, we made the most of our tiny space with a perfect little bistro set and twinkle lights. I'm so excited it's finally warm enough to use it again. My favorite thing to do during the warm weather months is have coffee and breakfast out there with Baxter on sunny mornings. It's my favorite start to the day, and it wouldn't be possible without my Wayfair furniture. I also really appreciate that Wayfair has installation and assembly services because outdoor furniture can be heavy and intimidating to assemble.
16:47It makes the experience truly seamless and stress-free. But my favorite part about Wayfair, you don't have to take out a freaking loan or remortgage your house just to make your space as gorgeous as possible. Especially if you, like me, are not in your forever home yet and you don't want to slurge on major investment pieces. I love how affordable everything at Wayfair is. Patio season is here and these deals won't last. Head to Wayfair.com right now to get your outdoor space ready for way less. That's W-A-Y-F-A-I-R.com. Way fair, every style, every home. Okay, so let's talk more about the timeline.
17:24They said they did not kiss until the end of February. And then the brunch, they said it was after that brunch that they all went to. But then the date of the brunch was apparently March 1st. Oh, my God. So, bullshit for multiple reasons. Sierra said she was suspicious of them starting in January. January 17th. Yeah, which was even before she was on Watch What Happens Live with Amanda. And Wes said on his podcast, this is the other thing about Wes spilling contradictory details on his podcast. Has he accepted that he's not going to be back on Bravo? Because why are you spilling things that should be saved for the reunion?
17:59If you're a real Bravo liberty who knows how to be good at your job, you save everything for the reunion. Instead, he's spilling on his podcast. He said on his podcast that it started to get serious in February. So it started to get serious, but you hadn't kissed yet or had sex yet. But once again, I needed more pushback on this. Yeah. And I wonder if we'll see more of it tonight and next week. But I agree. The timeline, I think, is the most concerning. And I think we're going to need like, I'm going to need a legitimate, I'm not trying to be funny. I'm going to need like a PowerPoint of the dates and times and all the Instagram captions that they've had and the multiple interviews that they've done really quickly about Wes's podcast.
18:37But I think her name is Sophia Cunningham. Sophie Cunningham. Yeah, people call her MAGA Barbie. I knew you would love that. I knew you would crack up at that. That's so fucking funny. But I was going to say, when Ronnie and Ben, first of all, me, you, and Olivia were sounding off in our group chat about how fucking funny Watch What Crappens Reunion Part 1 was, I was crying, laughing. But when Ronnie goes, Why does every time he's on his podcast, it sounds like he's accepting the Pulitzer? Like he thinks, like he literally thinks he's so important. And he just, oh my God, I can't stand him. I cannot stand him.
19:14I know, I hate him. I hate him. So, okay, so if they're saying that, back to the reunion, if they're saying that they didn't have sex until after the statement, first of all, on my third watch, I noticed that Amanda said that as quickly as possible after she was asked the question. She answered it before Wes could even, like, realize what was happening. And then Wes looks over at her and gives her a what the fuck look. I have a photo attached right here. Wait, wait, say that. Why did she say that? And Wes? So when Andy asked, when did you guys have sex for the first time? And she goes, after the statement.
19:42And then Wes looks at her like, what the fuck? Oh, right, right, right, right. And she goes, well, not directly after. Yeah, it's like, oh, you're doing too much now. When she was like, you hit post and then you like fucked. Like that's not what we were like assuming here. But I think that it's clear that they did not really nail down or map out their timelines correctly. They were not aligned because Wes is looking at her so confused. And then the fact that the concept of them posting the statement without having sex yet. So you're going to blow up your entire life for a crush. Like, how dumb do you think we are?
20:16Like, the audacity. The audacity. Yeah. And I think that's what everyone... By the way, that's how Ramona Sanger says audacity. Don't yell at me ever. I thought it was Teresa Giudice because I feel like my... What does she always say? My daughters. My daughters. My daughters. No, it was Ramona. The audacity? Bethany, you're not a girl's girl, okay? Bethany. That was good. That was good. With her, like, head bobble on, like, on the center, on, like, that crosswalk. Bethany, you don't support other women, okay? You have no friends. Yeah, when they're on the Brooklyn Bridge season one. I mean, you don't have no one.
20:54You don't have a husband. You don't have a kid. You have no one. You have no one. You'll probably mess that up, too. Bethany just, what? What did you just say to me? So this screenshot that you grabbed of Amanda saying after the statement and Wes looking at her shockingly, oh my God, you cannot make this up. We have to put this on the DET carousel if you guys aren't already following us at Snarkbait Pod. Sophie posts the funniest stock images, by the way, too. But yeah, they haven't aligned on the timeline. And I think if we, I want to respond to one of the things you just said about how them coming in actually more upset at everyone, rather than being introspective and taking accountability for how their actions have impacted so many of the people on those couches.
21:32I think they have completely cognitive dissonance themselves to basically say everyone else is in the wrong. We are two people who've had feelings for each other and we wanted to stop it and we couldn't. And how dare you guys come back at us and say that we're wrong for having these emotions. It's like, that's not what this is about. Yep. And we were single. We were single. Her saying fuck off to Sierra also need to just say that. So again, what was the strategy here? But yeah, the fact that she was going out of her way. Sierra obviously, it goes without saying, had an incredible performance, completely held her own.
22:05Incredible. And I was not necessarily expecting her to come in guns blazing. I thought she was going to be more emotional, but she was angry. She was guns pleasing. Yes. I too thought she was going to be emotional. Yeah. You could tell. She was like, no, this fucking pissed me off because you were going out of your way to lie to me over tech. Amanda was going out of her way to lie. Yeah. The texts were like insane. No, the texts were really crazy. And I think that not enough was talked about with Amanda's Instagram in the first couple months of this year. I did notice well before the scandal happened how odd it was how frequently she was spending time with West and how all of her pictures were so West-centric.
22:49And like Sierra mentioned, she first suspected something had happened January 17th. And then I think they were on Watch What Happens Live when Andy's like, which one of you is going to be dating first? And Amanda goes, me? and when Andy asked the audience who was shipping Wes and Sierra and it was like 98 % yes, we're all shipping her. The fact that Sierra was already suspicious of Amanda and Wes during that Watch What Happens Live taping is shocking to me. And you could see that, I don't know, just looking at Amanda's reactions, you could tell she was like feeling a certain type of way, but she was trying to keep a poker face as best as possible.
23:26But the fact that they were likely having sex during this taping is getting like Raquel buying that Thunderbolt necklace. Crazy. And the fact that, again, like Sierra was literally asking Amanda straight up, is something happening? Is something happening? And Amanda denying it outright, going out of her way. Actually, Amanda was the one who would reach out first and be like, hey, all these rumors are crazy, but I assure you we're just friends. Going out of her way to lie. Like what if she was just honest and said, hey, I'm catching feelings for Wes. It still would have been bad, obviously. But the way she was lying, going out of her way to lie makes so much worse.

24:01Remember her in season four with Jules when she was like, if you date a liar, I think you're a liar. Of course I remember that. You're the biggest fucking liar, Amanda. And by the way, when I said angry about Sierra, that probably wasn't the best word. I feel like that plays into the trope of angry black woman. And that's not what I was trying to say. I just meant that instead of being emotional and I feel like she was on the reunion two years ago where Paige was kind of sticking up for her. She was, she went in guns blazing and I loved it. It's purely complimentary. She was reasonably upset. I'm not trying to be like Nick Vile, who referred to Sierra and me as aggressive, by the way.
24:35He is. Everyone needs to stop downloading his show. Even if you want to see a guest that he's interviewing, stop it. Get the transcript or something else. Like, it's seriously not funny anymore. We need to stop. We need to de-platform this man. He always does this to black women. De-platform Nick Vile. Yeah. Always. Always. It's a pattern. And that's why there are people like defending him and being like, you didn't listen to it. Like he actually was complimenting them. But it's like this is a pattern of microaggressions towards black women. He used to do it to Tateisha. To Tateisha, too, of The Bachelor.
25:04I completely believe it. Yeah, he just has a pattern of doing this and no one holds him accountable because I don't know why. It's really odd. But what was I going to say? Another thing that I was talking about on my Instagram was this is how I know Amanda doesn't have friends. Because if any of my friends, if I were in Amanda's position and I was like, this is the reunion day. first of all, if I didn't have a PR team, which I'd imagine they both don't because everyone asked them and they were like, didn't answer. So like they didn't have a crisis team help them with that statement clearly. But none of my friends would have allowed me to walk up on that stage and behave in the way that Amanda did.
25:35Like it's shocking to me that no one is in her corner helping her. Except Katie DeLuca. Yeah. Katie DeLuca. Everyone's like the name Katie DeLuca. Like it's so, of course, that's your best friend since third grade. Katie DeLuca. Right. Like her parents did an excellent job naming her because that is just a great, great. Girl, you've known since third grade name. Yeah, a hundred percent. But it's clear to me that she has no one in her corner looking out for her because I can't even imagine any of my friends encouraging that type of behavior. In fact, they would slap me across the head if they saw me behaving like that.
26:07We would have had a mock trial if that were my friend. Absolutely. You know what's weird is that I have followed a mock trial. I've followed Amanda on Instagram for so fucking long, literally since her first season. And she used to have friends. Like, she used to go to Montauk with friends. Like, she wasn't in the Summer House season one. She would stay with friends. Like, what happened to all of those friends? Like, it's and then people are like, what happened with Paige? Because Amanda, Paige was Amanda's bridesmaid. Like, what? Like, literally, why does she have no friends? It's like so bizarre.
26:38But yeah, no notes on Sierra and Mia's performance. I feel like Mia being there this season, being a newbie this season was such a freaking blessing. Oh, my. Just having both, and also Lindsay. Lindsay and Mia, like, tag-teaming with Sierra was, like, flawless, no notes. Yeah. Yeah. What? I'm thinking of Mia going, when they bring up Miha, who was a West girlfriend. Yeah. And he says, not girlfriend, we were seeing each other. Like, okay, semantics. Like, shut up. And everyone was saying you were exclusive. You've told many a person you guys were exclusive. Yeah. And Mia goes, Amanda, you went from being someone's wife to being Wes's side bitch.
27:24Why are you one of his side bitches? Why are you doing this? It's unnecessary. Yeah. Yeah. But she says, this is unnecessary. It's so funny. Mia is such a breath of fresh air. She brings such like levity, but also intelligence. Amazing addition. Amazing addition. She is just fabulous. Her and KJ, it is just such a nice pair to join the summer house. Bailey as well. Yeah. It's just star. Great newbies. Ben, enough. Sorry, because I hate Ben. I loved when Bailey went after Ben. It was one of my favorite parts of the reunion. She's like, you hate women, stop it. And then Sabrina Bell coming out under the work saying, just letting you guys know Ben treats his mother and me with so much grace.
28:02It's like, I don't care how he treats him and his mother. I mean, you and his mother. What does he exhibit on this season of the show? Sabrina Bell. You guys, Sabrina Bell's stans are going to come out in the comments. I'm sorry. Ask yourself this one question, okay? Would you be friends with her in real life? If the answer is no, stop coming for us about bullying Sabrina Bell. She's weird. She's weird. Sorry. She's weird. I just, I don't know. Like, Sabrina Bell. I just loved how Bailey was like, the way you talk to women, you could tell about like she was seeing the comments from people online and being like, you know what?
28:36Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And then the way that he talks to men, it did the little montage where it was like him looking at Kyle and being like, it's okay, buddy. It's okay. Why does he take off his hat before hugging Kyle? That was a little odd. Because they were like going to kiss. Yeah, literally. Like I feel like Ben genuinely, I mean, it doesn't surprise me because he's talked about his relationship with his father and how his father like kind of like led with an iron fist and was just very hard on them and had a very like strict household. I feel like he has learned to be like respectful to men because he was probably fearful of his dad.
29:08But the way that Ben's eyes shift when he's upset, when he came into Bailey's room, stomped on all of her shit, sat down on her bedroom, sat down on her bed and was accosting her. OK, it just was something was very dark. And I loved how Levi was like something in your eyes shifts when you get upset. Like it's a it's a noticeable difference in your face. He's a very scary man. And I would love to never see him on my screen again. Shout out Levi. We actually saw that Levi and Bailey were hanging out with Kyle and Jesse for like an Amazon event on Instagram. And you know what? I would be okay with that being the cast next year.
29:41I know that it's up in the air if Sierra is going to come back. Obviously, I don't think Wes and Amanda are going to come back. But I would be happy with that. Like, I think that Bailey and Levi have a really good, genuine friendship. Bailey is a star. I want to see more of Levi. Me too. So I would be okay with that. And going back to the me-haw of it all. So I think Amanda was realizing things in real time. Like the fact that Miha, they mentioned that she slept over with Wes during his Watch What Happens Live appearance in March. So that was March 24th. And that Sierra also has sleepovers with him in the fall.
30:14I don't think Amanda knew either of those things. No. But she would never admit it. Of course. You could see her getting more and more uncomfortable as the minutes went on because they kept revealing more. Yes. Yeah, she takes a deep breath. She like closes her eyes and takes a deep breath. Yeah. Yeah. What was I going to say about Miha? I would love to have had Miha as a guest star on this reunion because I feel like she would have offered so much more context about their relationship. And I genuinely feel like she should have just come because she's a big critical part of this story. And I think that actually above all else, beyond what he did to Ciara, I think the Miha thing and that betrayal, obviously no one cares because Miha's not on TV.
30:54but I actually think the Miha betrayal is the most jarring part of this entire thing. Yeah, because he had a fucking secret girlfriend. Right. I think that actually is very, very critical to this, well above Sierra. It just shows how sociopathic and insane. And I don't know, just Wes doesn't give a fuck about any of his behavior, but I think the Miha piece is the biggest part of it. Another thing I was thinking about was it kind of makes sense why Carl's a mess because at the end of the day, like you said, Wes and Amanda won't be returning to the season of Summer House. It's already been rumored that like Wes is out, but it kind of means no more jobs for them.
31:29Unless Carl gets tapped to be in the city, he's really kind of saying like, you guys kind of fucked over all of our jobs and our livelihood because of this. Yeah. I mean, look at Lala. Look how upset Lala was at Ariana because Ariana had refused to film with Tom Sandoval. And Lala at the end of the day was pissed because she could no longer earn a living from the show anymore and she knew everything was going to change. And she was blaming it on Ariana, even though the show could have survived if Lala wasn't so insufferable. Exactly. And how no one wants to see her on the valley. But I think at the end of the day, that's probably an unspoken thing, too, that they're all like, you fucked with our jobs.
32:02We can't even go back to film because the critical part of all this, the show, is now broken. Yeah. I also think that's why part of why Jesse was upset, too. He was obviously very emotional at the reunion. I still maintain that he knew. One million percent. Still love him, though. I loved his all-rise comment when Sierra walks out. Like, you could never make me hate Jesse. I'm sorry. No, I know. I always have a soft spot for him. No, I know. His little, like, Jewish curls. Like, on the read-in, you could tell he put product in them. I'm like, oh, my God, he's so cute. I know. Does that make you want to cry?
32:35That's going to make me cry. Wait, so what did you think of Kyle? No, they were, like, crunchy. Stop. What did you think of Kyle when Sierra says, towards the end of part one, when she says, you know what? I think they actually, after Lindsay goes, Wes, you're so fucking good. You are so fucking good. I almost got pulled into you just now. It's amazing what you can do. I love the way Lindsay says fucking, you're so fucking good. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Someone says she looks like an 80s soap star with that outfit, the Cruella de Vil. Yeah, she looks like an 80s villain from like Dynasty or something with like her hair.
33:13Yeah. But after she says that, She says, all you do is social climb. Once a girl no longer serves you, you drop her and you're going to do the same thing to Amanda. And then Sierra goes, actually, I think they will work out because he needs someone like Amanda who's very mute, who's weak. He can be the center of attention. And Kyle goes, that was a little hard. And then Sierra goes, she's your wife, not mine. Not mine. I will say Kyle's reaction to that was because Sierra was speaking to him. He felt attacked. Yes, he felt attacked. I don't think he was trying to look out for Amanda by saying you're being too harsh to Amanda.
33:46It was a reflection and a mirror to their relationship. She's saying Kyle was a star. Amanda was mute. Amanda was weak in the relationship with Kyle. It has nothing to do with the West and Amanda thing. And he was just triggered from his own insecurities about their relationship and how everyone was attacking their relationship from the very beginning because Kyle was always the problem. Kyle's the one who drinks too much. Kyle's the one that stays out too late. So I think it was just it was merely a mirror to his marriage with Amanda. Did you think that too? Exactly. I completely, completely agree.
34:14Yeah. Just talk about him, basically. And now here Amanda is with mini Kyle. Except worse. Wes could never be Kyle. You guys all know I'm a cookie monster. Wes wishes he could be Kyle, genuinely. Like, I'm sorry. Wes is such a loser. The second that this kind of, like, dies out and he's no longer on Bravo, no one cares about him. He's not marketable. He's not brand safe. He will have nothing to his name. And what does he do for work? He is such a fucking loser. I can't wait for him to be unemployed and poor. Like, when all this runs out, he will have nothing. And no more clout to attach himself to.
34:50No more girls that he can chase to because he's a Bravo Liberty. I cannot wait for three years. I mean, no one talks about Tom Sandoval anymore. Remember how wealthy Tom Sandoval used to be? Not wealthy, but, like, how much money he used to have? What does he do now? He's dying to be on another reality show. Wasn't he on the villains or whatever? Like, this guy will fade into oblivion so quickly, just as fast as he was able to skyrocket into fame. And I cannot wait for it. when he is no longer that guy, the New York Times it boy of Summer House. He let it go way too much to his head. And I cannot wait for the day that he's unemployed.
35:19Is he going to go back to being a sports journalist? I hope he does for his sake. By the way, this is his pinned like photo shoot with a complex like microphone in his mouth that's on his Instagram profile. I've always hated this photo. Like he's evil. He's I'm showing YouTube. He's he's evil. Like there is such darkness in his eyes. darkness yeah and the fact that he did not text he texted everyone on the cast except kj and bailey and levi and he said you know i just um i just tried to text the people who i felt it like uh affected the most yeah directly impacted um yeah and everyone was like we all got fucking roped into this and the fact that kj thought they were really good friends and stop i know it's like so it's like so upsetting and kj was so open about the fact that uh he was hospitalized in the fall for self-harm and we know that he has been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder he said so um he said that sierra and mia were literally there at the hospital with him like every day which is incredible like these are real friendships not just for tv and everything west does is just for TV.
36:31So I commend KJ for that. And there have been rumors that him and Dara broke up because they have unfollowed or blocked each other on Instagram. Yes. And the photos of them, I think either on his Instagram or hers, I think it's on his, all the photos of him and Dara are now removed from his grid. I think the tagged photos still remain as of Sunday, May 31st. But yeah, there's some rumblings there. I really hope he's well and I hope Dara's well. And that sucks because I did like them together. But I was going to say that to that point of West, everything he does is for a show, you never know who he really is.
37:01I was so glad that Sierra brought that up. She's like, the crazy thing about you and why you're so fraudulent to begin with is because no one actually knows who you are. And I think we've all maybe had some people in our life like this. You want to be close to them and they're a good time. They're funny. They're charismatic. You like going out with them. But at the end of the day, when they're like by themselves, you never really know who they really are or they're kind of sketchy or they're a little bit secretive. Like I have a person in my life that I'm thinking of right now, like great person, great guy.
37:25But what are you really behind closed doors? It all feels a bit smoke and mirrors. And I'm really glad that she called that out because to your point, for Mia, Sierra, Kyle, KJ, Jesse, maybe to a degree, this is all their real life. Like it's hard to kind of differentiate between real life and reality TV because it is their lives. And I think Tom Sandoval has mentioned this too when he was confronted with like his behavior on Traitors. He's like, for me, the show and my real life, they are the same. But for Wes, there is a clear distinction between what he does behind cameras and what he does in front of the cameras.
37:56and that's why he's such a troubling person to your point that if he has a secret girlfriend and he's had a secret girlfriend for months and no one knows about it except a couple people the fact that kj was like dude you and i are boys you and i have known each other for a long time you brought me onto this show and you didn't even have the decency to text me to apologize knowing how close i am to sierra like you have no awareness about how this impacts people and like i think that's what socio uh like sorry when you're not empathetic towards other people that speaks to like something missing you know what i mean and i feel like there's a chip missing there's a chip missing the secret girlfriend off camera is the perfect example that everything he does is inauthentic everything about him on the show that's fake because what do you mean you have a secret relationship like that is just like not how reality tv works or should work right like and i think also the fact that the fact that everyone was like did you guys think that ben was dating Sabrina Bill and lying about it at the start of the summer.
38:55And Wes raises his hand. It's like, how fucking dare you? Oh, I know. That's rich coming from Wes. That is the richest hand raise I've ever seen in my life. But yeah, I really felt for KJ. And I'm so happy he opened up because I think it's really brave and vulnerable. And it really, there shouldn't be stigma around it. You can't help if something in your brain is, you know, it's off balance or whatever you want to call it. You can't help that. And I think it brings so much more awareness to people that have engaged or have thought about self-harm and knowing like if someone was able to come out of it from the other side and at least speak on it and talk about how he was able to go to recovery and go to a treatment center, that's so vulnerable.
39:30And I think quite honestly, it's difficult for a black man to do. And I think that a lot of the times like feelings for men in general are repressed. A lot of the time, they don't want to speak about their feelings. And that's why I think self-harm and suicide rates for men are higher than women because they don't talk about these things. So I I really commend KJ for using his platform in such a wide stage as this reunion is to talk on it and be like, not talk about it in a way that's shameful. He's like, yeah, I self-harmed and I was hospitalized for like a week. That's like very dark, but it's life.
40:00Yeah, and I think he's literally saving lives by talking about it because there's such stigma. It's like, break the stigma. And that's what he's doing. There's nothing shameful about any of that. It's actually just so brave and courageous for you to have identified something was wrong and then sought treatment thereafter, after you were discharged. Like, that's amazing. You know how many people would just, like, leave and continue doing the same shit? Like, it sounds like he's really trying to—and I'm not judging that either if you don't want to seek treatment. I think it's just—because there's stigma around it and costs and all that stuff.
40:28But I really love him. I love Mia. I love how they're like a family. And I think—I liked this reunion because it touched on so many different things. The Bailey and Ben dynamic, KJ's mental health, obviously the scandal, but it was balanced in such a way where like, I can't wait to hear more. I almost wish that they would release the reunion in all parts back to that. I know I need them. Kyle says in part two and three that he finds his voice. So if you're waiting for Kyle to speak up, apparently he should speak up more tonight on part two, which I am so excited for. Is there anything else about the reunion that you want to talk about?
41:00No, I think I am happy that Wes likely will no longer be on our screens because I genuinely just don't care for a dark villain like this. It's one villain to be like, I don't know, Ramona Singer or like. Someone who's fun to watch. Yeah, kind of like campy. But when it comes to this, it's almost too triggering for us girlies to watch someone like this on our screens because we've all kind of dealt with the West and it's just. Yeah, it's also like he's a street man that is clearly pandering to an audience full of women. And almost like it feels manipulative and icky. The way that he is just feels gross to watch.
41:37Yeah. And I don't like it. Yeah. I agree with all that. Also, I don't know if any of us baby snarks two nights ago, the season finale of probably the series finale, let's be real, of Euphoria released two nights ago. And I'm ready for this shit to be over. Yeah. Yeah. I am excited to watch it tonight, but also ready for it to be over. Like, I'm going to be seated. But are you ready to move on to dark energy objects? With the weather lately, I feel like I'm always out and about doing things. Errands, workouts, beach days, you name it. And when summer hits, I am always reminded that I need clothes that can actually keep up with all of that.

But just because I'm a hairy Jewish girl does not mean I have to settle for a horrible shaving experience. And as soon as I discovered Flamingo, I realized I don't have to suffer any longer. Seriously, I've been a fan of Flamingo since before they became a podcast sponsor.
43:56With Flamingo, my leg shaving experience is smooth, gentle, and luxurious, not bumpy, rough, and painful. Also, the shave is so close. Flamingo razors feel like they're working with my body and the contours of my legs instead of against them, and it makes all the difference. Finally, shaving is a ritual I enjoy rather than dread. We're still talking about West and Amanda. I know. They were, my dark energy object is her fuck ass bun.
48:04So in case you guys missed it, they were in Italy at his family wedding. There's some wedding that he's at and people are trying to piece together the timeline that I guess RSVPs were due in at a certain date, February and March. So the fact that Amanda is there indicates that they were together in February. And I'm like, yeah, but you can also text people. Like it's not like good form, but you can text people like a week before and be like, hey, can I bring this person? And like sometimes it works out. So I don't think that's any definitive proof. But Amanda's wearing the same fuck-ass bun that she is wearing to the reunion at this wedding.
48:37And I love how there's someone at this family wedding that is like a cocktail or like a Bravo and cocktail fan. They like set it into Bravo and cocktails, which is so funny. Like, they think that they're safe at a family wedding and they're not. Like, it's kind of unsettling for them. Like, West truly has no one in his corner. Like, for real. Probably. Oh, really quickly. another dark energy I was going to say, speaking of Wes, is when he when it was unveiled that like his dick pics were released in Missouri when he was like, am I hard or soft? That it's like, how many DPs have you sent where you don't know which one is released?
49:10And also the fact that he was saying his computer got hacked or his phone got hacked or something, I think to make it seem like he wasn't sending out dick pics to girls. And then Amanda leans over and goes, I've never gotten one. And it's like your ex-husband, your still husband is sitting right there like how fucking awkward for everyone she is like they just like they they came in not taking this seriously at all like we said at the top like what is the strategy here they were just so like smug exactly yeah my dark energy object is honestly just this entire thing like i think that my dark energy object is west not reaching out to kj like i feel like that just shows you exactly who west is the fact that kj was a real offline friend that you brought into this universe and you didn't even have the decency to reach out we don't know that for a fact that they knew each other before oh really it could just be something they said for the show like oh we're both from missouri like let's bring them on like we don't we don't know for sure that they actually go way back let us know you guys that there's like confirmation of that but i've seen people just say yeah they were friends on the show they weren't friends before the show wait that makes i mean that makes a lot of sense because you remember when last season when amanda brought lexi and everyone was like well amanda and lexi were friends like no they weren't they met at like some influencer brand influencer event and then amanda threw her name in the ring like yeah yeah um you go you do like energy objects first you do yours wait can i do my other deo oh yeah oh i didn't even see that yes i have one more people who ride bikes in new york city with no helmets do you have a death wish and i know that helmets aren't that cool except if you are hannah wells on off campus but the fact that people ride bikes and like city bikes in New York City, that alone, I'm like, you're braver than the Marines.
50:55But then to not wear a helmet, like, do you have a death wish? It just like fucking scares me. I can't believe people like live like this, live life on the edge. You know, what's also not cool is having your head split open if you were to get in an accident. So I don't care if helmets aren't cool to wear. Please protect yourself because it will save your life. Yeah. Yes, absolutely. Okay. And then my light energy object is cave diving TikTok. It's like basically my entire for you page is summer house and then cave diving. If you guys don't know, we did a Patreon episode about the Nutty Putty cave incident.
51:31Wild episode if you've not heard of this before. Excuse me. What is his name again? John Edward Jones. Yeah, John Jones. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Good job. So, Jon Jones, a tragic, tragic incident of a cave diving fatality. But it's been more in the news lately because of the tragedy that happened in the Maldives. Did you see this? Where a group of five divers, oh my God, including a mother and a daughter, a group of five divers all perished while exploring an underwater cave system in the Maldives. And apparently they were completely unprepared with the amount of equipment they had. They were like, I want to say 160 feet down.
52:15Jesus. Or maybe that was meters. I'm so sorry. It was like so deep where they would have needed special equipment. Yeah. And they were just completely not prepared. And this just happened a couple weeks ago in the Maldives, tragically. So I feel like cave diving has been back in the news. I mean, it's always my for you page, honestly, because I find it so fascinating that people like choose to do this. Totally optional, by the way. Totally optional. The comments are always like, I hate that I have to do this next year. People are like acting like it's like something that like we all have to. I know, like we all have to do it.
52:45It's mandatory. No, we don't. It's completely optional. Yeah. It just like it makes me claustrophobic watching it, but I can't stop. Wait, speaking of, this is something that actually came up on my For You page a couple weeks ago, and I wanted to do an episode on Patreon about it, but maybe we will in the future. But basically, there was these men in the, I think it was in the Philippines or somewhere in Asia, but they were, it was not optional for them. It was part of their job. There was like military bases on top of the ocean. And there was like a pipe basically that connected one station to the next.
53:15And they were cleaning it out. And basically the pressure from the pipes was so strong that they got sucked into the pipe. And they were there, Sophie, for over 24 hours. And they perished in that pipe. And they all died except one. Yes. Of course you know. I listened to a TikTok episode. Or not TikTok episode. A podcast episode about this. Wait, yes. Literally last. It was in Trinidad and Tobago. Yes, Trinidad, yes. Listen to the podcast Swindled, you guys. It's like my favorite podcast ever. And the episode that was just released on April 29th called The Abandoned. It's the pariah diving tragedy.
53:48The pariah diving, yes. And it was basically like an oil kind of pipe. And they were all basically stuck with oil and water. Because of the pressure, yeah. And there was no way to rescue them. But also it was like it was completely on the corporation. Yes, it was like some kind of, There could have been far more drastic life-saving measures that could have occurred in order to save them before they perish. But it probably is the scariest thing. It was like one of the guys was able to like shimmy. Basically, there was one station that was like locked and sealed and another that was not. So he took his chances and found the one base that was not sealed.
54:23And he tried to save his friends. He's like, my friends are still down there. And they could not. Yeah. He was like, I will go get help. And then they like didn't do anything to save them. I highly recommend that swindled episode and just any swindled episode. Okay. Well, that wasn't really a light energy object. I know. I don't know. Do you have any that are? Of course, you and I, when I say, yeah, there's a type with a seal, Periora, and Tobago, and Trinidad. Pariah diving tragedy. And like, I love that you know. Trinidad and Tobago. Yep. Yeah. Like, I love that you knew. Obviously, it's not funny subject matter, but like the fact that you knew this already.
54:56Yeah. No, I heard that one actually last week. Yep. Oh. Okay. Huh. um my light energy object you know what actually one of our sponsors cheers they it's like a tablet that you take after you drink it actually has significantly decreased my hangover so plug for cheers um what is our let me find our code yeah it's i took it i took two pills before i went to bed last night and it like it's such a life changer it has a bunch of vitamins restore our listeners get 20 off by using code snarkbait at cheershealth.com and yes they are a sponsor but Christy says they actually work. I can't attest to them working at this point because I haven't gotten drunk in a really long time but next time I do drink, I will definitely be taking them.
55:36I have them in my pantry. All you do is just take two pills before you go to bed, drink it with some water and it just has a lot of vitamins and like minerals to reduce any symptoms of hangover. So that actually saved me last night and why I'm able to do two recordings today. So thank you guys so much for listening. In a week from Friday, we'll be in New York for our live show, x1entertainment.com slash snarkbait and then on Sunday, June 14th, we'll be in Chicago for another live show. 56:39It's finally summer, which means all of us, hopefully most of us, are going to be spending a lot more time outside touching grass. And when was the last time you upgraded your outdoor furniture situation? Wayfair is your one-stop shop for outdoor seating, grills, appliances, patio lighting, storage, rugs, decor, you name it. Everything you need to make your outdoor area the best seat in the house. We only have an itty-bitty balcony in New York City, but thanks to Wayfair, we made the most of our tiny space with a perfect little bistro set and twinkle lights. I'm so excited it's finally warm enough to use it again.
57:11My favorite thing to do during the warm weather months is have coffee and breakfast out there with Baxter on sunny mornings. It's my favorite start to the day, and it wouldn't be possible without my Wayfair furniture. I also really appreciate that Wayfair has installation and assembly services because outdoor furniture can be heavy and intimidating to assemble. It makes the experience truly seamless and stress-free. But my favorite part about Wayfair, you don't have to take out a freaking loan or remortgage your house just to make your space as gorgeous as possible. Especially if you, like me, are not in your forever home yet and you don't want to slurge on major investment pieces.
57:43I love how affordable everything at Wayfair is. Patio season is here and these deals won't last. Head to Wayfair.com right now to get your outdoor space ready for way less. That's W-A-Y-F-A-I-R dot com. Wayfair, every style, every home. With the weather lately, I feel like I'm always out and about doing things. Errands, workouts, beach days, you name it. And when summer hits, I am always reminded that I need clothes that can actually keep up with all of that. And that's why I joined Fabletics as a VIP. It completely changed how I shop for a new season. New VIPs unlock major savings on their first purchase, so stocking up on cute, comfortable pieces doesn't feel like some major splurge.
58:23When I signed up as a new VIP with Fabletics, I got 70 to 80 % off of everything. It made it so easy to grab multiple matching sets, shorts, tanks, and lounge pieces for the summer without overthinking it. And the quality is genuinely so good. Fabletics pieces feel like ultra-luxe activewear you'd expect from some of those higher-end brands, you know the ones, but without the hefty price tag. These pieces are built to actually last, and I love that for me. My genuine absolute favorite piece I've gotten is the Anywhere Cropped Bra Tank. It's a perfect workout top that I can throw on for a workout, just to record, run errands, go out to lunch.
58:57And genuinely, my boobs look really good. They're like, they suck in and like perk up just the way I like it. And I just genuinely love how easy it is to get dressed with Fabletics and how put together I look without having to actually think about it. Shop now at fabletics.com slash snark to get 70 to 80 % off everything when you sign up as a new VIP. Take a really quick style quiz and be sure to select snark when prompted to unlock this offer. This is a limited time offer, so don't wait. Again, that's fabletics.com slash snark for 70 to 80 % off everything as a new VIP. If there's one refresh worth making this summer, it's your bedding.
59:32Trust me. Summer nights always leave me wanting bedding that feels lighter, more breathable, etc, etc. And Quince has been my go-to for so long now. They focus on high-quality materials like European linen and bamboo without the luxury markup. My absolute favorite is their 100 % organic cotton percale sheets duvet cover. The material is so crisp and comfy and even has a cooling effect, which is obviously perfect for those hot summer nights. I also love the look of it. It's matte, smooth, and just has this classic look that instantly elevates our bedroom. And I love knowing that we're sleeping on 100 % cotton and not some cheap polyester blend.
1:00:07You can literally feel the difference. I also love their Mulberry Silk Pillowcases and Eye Masks. They help keep your hair smooth and skin hydrated overnight because they don't absorb your natural oils like other materials do. This bedding is made for literal beauty sleep, you guys. Quince has everything you need to upgrade your bedding for summer. Lightweight sheets, airy linen shams, seasonal colors, and timeless patterns like stripes and soft neutrals. And in case you need a reminder, everything at Quince is 50 to 80 % less than similar brands because they work directly with ethical factories and cut out the middleman.
1:00:40So you're paying for quality, not a name brand markup. Elevate your summer betting. Go to Quince.com slash snarkbait for free shipping on your order and 365 day returns. Now available in Canada too. That's Q-U-I-N-C-E dot com slash snarkbait for free shipping and 365 day returns. Quince.com slash snarkbait. I've been a diehard TaskRabbit stan long before they were a sponsor. I cannot remember the last time I moved without enlisting a tasker, whether it was for assembling furniture, mounting a TV, hanging artwork or shelves, the list goes on. And it's not just during a move where your to-do list can feel like it's 10 pages long.
1:01:16Sometimes I really just need an extra hand for those little things I feel like I never end up getting around to myself, like hanging the collage wall I promised myself I'd do for months. Wherever you are, TaskRabbit is here to help. TaskRabbit connects you with skilled taskers in your area for moving, furniture assembly, home repairs, yard work, mounting, you name it. You can search for a tasker based on cost, skill set, availability, and past client reviews so you know exactly who's showing up and can have confidence so they know what they're doing. Taskers have assembled over 3.4 million pieces of furniture, completed 700 ,000 home repairs, handled 1.5 million moves, and counting.
1:01:51It's okay to ask for help with your to-do list. In fact, it's the most efficient way to get things done, in my humble opinion. When life happens, your to-do list grows.
