Maybe up for something like this. Or just really, really need something more like this. You'll find the vacation you want in Missouri. Missouri, it's the getaway that gets you. Plan your fun at visitmo.com. Most people don't realize how much their personal information is being bought and sold every day. Data brokers are making billions, pulling details about you from public records and the internet, and then packaging and selling it, usually without your consent. That's how your information lands in the hands of scammers, spammers, even stalkers.
0:47Madison Beer:It's why you get endless robocalls and why ads seem to follow you everywhere. That's where Aura comes in. Aura actively removes your data from broker sites and keeps it off. They also instantly alert you if your information shows up in a breach or on the dark web. But Aura goes beyond data protection. With one app, you get a VPN, antivirus, password manager, spam call protection, dark web monitoring, and even up to$5 million in identity theft insurance, all backed by 24-7 U.S.-based fraud support. Other companies might sell just credit monitoring or just a VPN. Aura gives you all of it, together, at the same price competitors charge for just one service.

1:31Justin Herbert:Hey, everybody. Welcome back to another episode of Snarkbait. I'm Christy. Before we get started, I just want to issue a corrections corner on the Taylor and Travis engagement. I said that Taylor sold her Rhode Island home. That's incorrect. That was wrong information. I apologize. And I'm going to kick it over to Sophie, my wonderful co-host, to discuss what we're chatting about today.
1:52Carl Radke:Yeah, I'm Sophie. And thank you to our baby snarks for flagging that. We appreciate you fact checking us always, but we have a fun one today. We are talking about Alex Cooper in the Unwell Network, Carl Radke in Softbar, a little on Paige DeSorbo, Madison Beer and Justin Herbert, new couple alert, our dark energy objects and light energy objects of the week. And then we also touch on Emily Kaiser breaking her silence, which gets a little bit dark. So just a fair warning, but we hope you enjoy the episode. Thank you guys so much. Hope you like it.
2:36Justin Herbert:Hey, Sophie. Hey, Christy. How's it going? Ooh, you know, it's Friday. We usually record DET on Sundays, so we're recording a little bit earlier this week. So if something seems a little bit stale, we apologize in advance. Yeah. But it's Labor Day weekend, baby. Are you doing anything fun this weekend, Sophie?
2:54Carl Radke:No, I'm actually not. And I'm really excited to just kind of have a lazy weekend. It's been just a really, really, really busy summer, honestly. So I'm excited to relax, take it easy, sleep in, hopefully. What about you?
3:07Justin Herbert:I am going to Vegas just for night.
3:09Carl Radke:Got stains on my t-shirt. Oh my God. It's literally this weekend?
3:13Justin Herbert:Yeah.
3:14Carl Radke:Okay. I missed that. I missed that it was this weekend. I was like, I thought it was later. I am. You talked about the Ashley Simpson concert.
3:22Justin Herbert:If you didn't already know from my beautiful rendition of autobiography, the Ashley Simpson show raised me. And I'm not joking. I think I've seen Ashley Simpson three times in concert when I was younger. And I cannot believe I'm seeing her again as an adult. I listened to her on the Boy Meets Pod podcast with Danielle Fishel. It was the first time I'd ever listened to that podcast. But because Ashley was on it, I was curious. because she doesn't really do a lot of press. And she says that it's going to be a fabulous concert. And she's doing songs from all her different albums. And I think the I Am Me album in 2005 was deeply underrated and slept on because after the SNL controversy, people wrote her off as an artist.
4:05Justin Herbert:But interestingly enough, Rolling Stone did an article recently where they did the best albums of all time. Autobiography was on it. As she deserves. No, seriously. It is like actually a very, very good album. I was listening to it in the shower and I was washing my hair and I was singing. Like those herbal essences.
4:25Carl Radke:You make me wanna la la in the kitchen on the floor.
4:29Justin Herbert:Which is like such a sexual song. Why were we singing that when we were like nine?
4:33Carl Radke:Yeah, we were like literally like in fifth grade. And yeah, it went triple platinum in my childhood bedroom. That was such a fucking good album.
4:45Justin Herbert:We're sorry. We know people don't like it when we sing, but I hope it sometimes it just comes out. It comes out. I just don't I can't help it. It's just it's part of my soul and my body. And I'm a singer, baby. Anything about like one thing about me, I love to sing.
5:00Carl Radke:So Christy and her sister have a song that they sang to Christy's niece, who is the cutest little child in the world. And it's been stuck in my head. I meant to tell Christy that it's been stuck in my head. It goes like, what you thinking, Miss Mo? what's on your mind what are you thinking mo what's on your mind like chrissy's actually a good singer so yeah you should be thankful for her for her pipes um unlike me i know that i'm not i mean i like to think i am but i i know that i'm not you know we all have our strengths and your strength is being like you're an influencer baby you know yeah totally uh speaking of influencers.
5:44Carl Radke:I feel like let's kick it off with Alex Cooper. Please. So there was a whole discourse, I guess, happening on Reddit about how Unwell Network is where, and it got us thinking in the group chat. Christy sent us some screenshots about how the Unwell Network is quote unquote, where podcasts go to die because we feel like as soon as a podcast joins Unwell Network, the marketing just stops and you don't hear anything like what happened to Grace O'Malley's podcast. We know that, I mean, Harry Giles, his podcast was never super popular, but like what, what is happening to some of these podcasts? And then they keep bringing on more podcasts.
6:29Carl Radke:So I saw, I don't know if you saw this, Christy, that they posted a casting call for a sorority podcast and it says calling all sorority girls. Unwell is officially casting for a sorority life podcast, looking for women who are interested in sharing their fun weekly updates on social life and all things that come with the college experience produced by Unwell. We are opening casting now. Please submit a one minute video, blah, blah, blah. Bonus. If you have a friend, you think would make a great co-host, you can apply together as a duo. Now they're literally trying to like exploit college students.
7:03Carl Radke:Like what? Like I found that very strange.
7:05Justin Herbert:Yeah, I'm glad you brought up Grace O'Malley's podcast. I completely forgot that was a thing. While I'm talking, do you mind just checking if it is actually a podcast, if you don't already know where Jordan?
7:17Carl Radke:Yeah, disgracefully, right?
7:19Justin Herbert:Is it airing? I had no idea. That just shows you how bad the marketing is. Genuinely, the only person's podcast that I am aware of is Harry Jowsey's Boyfriend Repetitorial, and I think it's because we did an episode on Harry Jowsey, so I had to watch episode clips. It's top of mind. Right. but genuinely what happened to Madeline RG, I don't know who that, who she is, but she was the first person besides Alex Earl.
7:44Carl Radke:Yeah. And then Hallie Batchelder has her podcast extra dirty. Other than that, it's like, you don't, oh. And another thing that we were reading about on this Reddit thread is that apparently unwell, the drink unwell hydration has been like, I mean, to no one's surprise and take it with a grain of salt. It's like literally a Reddit comment, but there was a whole discourse about how it is hemorrhaging money, which isn't that surprising because it's like, who is, who is buying, you know, people might buy it once as a novelty, like Christy did for me. It was so gross.
8:19Justin Herbert:We posted it on our Patreon as a gag. It, we're not just saying this because we don't really care for Alex Cooper. It genuinely was an awful drink.
8:27Carl Radke:Yeah, it was not, it was not very good.
8:30Justin Herbert:So So I don't know. Yeah. And there is this TikToker. Her username is POV underscore girl boss. And she was the one that kind of called this to my attention where she said, Unmull Network is where podcasts go to die. And is it because one, they suck at marketing or two, Alex Cooper wants to eliminate her potential competition?
8:51Carl Radke:Oh, so it was a TikTok comment section, not a Reddit thread. Sorry. Sorry, sorry, sorry.
8:57Justin Herbert:No, no. Yeah. So, I mean, I think she brings up a good point. I think what the interesting thing of Unwell is their marketing for new podcasts is outstanding. The marketing for the Unwell drink, outstanding. All of these live events that they host, these live parties where they're displaying the Unwell drink everywhere, outstanding. But when it comes to actually the quality of the deliverable itself, which is the podcast, nothing. and I hear no biteable sound clips. I don't hear, you know, discussed on like media outlets. I just have no idea. And maybe it's because you and I are not on that side of podcasting where we don't listen to these people and they're too young for us because she is targeted towards a more Gen Z demographic.
9:43Justin Herbert:But we are pop culture people. So you would think that they would come across our desk at some point, but they just don't. Right.
9:50Carl Radke:I think, yeah, it seems like she kind of forgets about them. Like the launch will be huge. like the Grace O'Malley signing with Unwell and launching the Disgracefully podcast was such a huge rollout. And then she kind of forgets about it and stops promoting it. And I also think it's the it's the doing too much thing that a lot of I mean, we just last week had a Patreon episode about Kylie Jenner's disappearing brands. And we were talking about how it was like she tried to do too much and just diluted her brand. So now the Unwell Network is doing television shows, apparently. Like Gabby Wendy is hosting a new dating show about love on a on a boat.
10:31Carl Radke:So it's just too much all at once. And it's not sustainable. And obviously, some things are going to fall by the wayside and go on the back burner while they prioritize new projects. And every time there's a new project, the existing projects just get pushed to the side.
10:48Justin Herbert:Yeah. And they're also the production company behind Let's Marry Harry. So I forgot about the Gabby, Wendy, like love on a boat, whatever that's going to love on a boat.
10:59Carl Radke:That's not the official title. You guys, I forget what it's called, but something like that.
11:03Justin Herbert:Right. I, I find that she is kind of taking the Kylie Jenner direction. That's a really good analogy that you just made where if you listen to our Patreon episode, as Sophie just mentioned, she had Kylie swim. She had Kylie baby, Kylie cosmetics, Kai, Sprinter, and we're losing track. And I think what Kylie did that was kind of not a smart move is everything that was a Kylie Jenner product had her name associated to it. Whereas for instance, Selena Gomez, Rare Beauty or Hailey Bieber's Road, you don't, of course you, you associate the celebrities with the brands, but it's not like Selena Gomez makeup.
11:43Justin Herbert:It's not Hailey Bieber makeup versus Kylie, it almost cheapens it. It's almost embarrassing to buy Kylie cosmetics simply because her name is everywhere on the branding, on the marketing, on the products itself, Kylie liner, right? So it just makes it seem a little bit kitschy and a little bit embarrassing. And I think Alex Cooper kind of falls under that same bucket.
12:04Carl Radke:Yeah. And again, it's like, we're not the target audience. So if you are listening to this and you're like, well, I actually listened to Madeline Argy's podcast and I, you know, I'm a huge fan of the Unwell Network. That's totally fair. We're not the target audience. I just think it's, this discourse is really interesting because it actually, it makes sense. It's just like, yeah, you're trying to do too much and it sucks for, I mean, it doesn't suck for them. I'm sure they're still making a lot of money, but some of these podcasters that are signed to the network and then all of a sudden Alex Cooper kind of forgets about them.
12:37Carl Radke:I just thought the sorority girl podcast. I think it's so crazy. It's so crazy to me. I don't know why. I know that like people, it's basically, it's probably like an internship, which a lot of people do in college. I did it in college, but still it's crazy.
12:53Justin Herbert:And I'm reading this headline that they posted on, I think, IG looking for women who are interested in sharing their fun weekly updates on social life and all things that come with a college experience produced by Unwell. We are open casting. We are opening casting now. So is this a reality show similar to? No, I think it's a podcast. It's a podcast. Oh, yeah. Yeah.
Read the full transcript
13:12Carl Radke:It's a sorority life podcast. It's a podcast. Like, it's just I don't know. It's so interesting.
13:16Justin Herbert:It's probably like they want to do call her daddy college version. I'd imagine. Yeah.
13:22Carl Radke:Again, that's more of her audience, which is completely, completely fair. Okay. Next topic that I want to talk about is soft bar, I guess is actually happening. So soft bar is Carl Radke's sober bar. Everyone has been doubting him. Everyone has been hating on him. He has silenced his critics because he did a people exclusive where he walked a whole camera crew through the bar. It is opening September 17th, I believe. And yeah, so I guess it's, soon. It's finally happening. And if you guys recall, I ran into him at LaGuardia airport back in March and he told me that it was opening in July. So it seems like there have been a few delays, but now we have an official opening date, launch date, and it actually looks amazing.
14:13Justin Herbert:It does. I talk about good marketing. Softbars marketing is on point recently. It is all over My TikTok, my Instagram, there's articles about it. Like Carl, whoever his marketing team is, great job. Fabulous job. I did see all the videos and you're right. It looks amazing. They're serving obviously soft cocktails and coffee and like non-alc seltzers. And it's kind of what I picture software to be, honestly, is going to be a space for people to congregate. whether it's for influencer events or you're launching like a product line you could maybe congregate at soft bar to do these parties it looks honestly like a party site if anything and I think it's really smart that they decided to do coffee because Carl even admitted he's like I don't drink coffee because it makes my anxiety like too high it's not good for my anxiety and so I just stick to I think he said tea or maybe no caffeine at all I can't recall but I know for a fact he does not drink coffee yeah I'm glad that they did the coffee thing because without coffee people are less willing to attend a non-alcoholic bar.
15:24Carl Radke:Yeah, and I understand like when you hear, oh, so it's like a non-alcoholic place to congregate that serves coffee. Okay, it's a cafe. But if you look at the interior, it's very elevated. And like you said, feels like an event space and feels actually very chic. I don't know, like I have been one of those people that's like, okay, like what is this actually gonna be? But when you were, I was reading the comments and a lot of people are actually kind of excited about this and thinking, you know, I, this is, this is something that I actually have been looking for because everywhere you go, it's alcohol.
15:59Carl Radke:And, and a lot of people are sober or a lot of people are trying to abstain from alcohol or trying to drink less in our day and age. It's kind of like, like you said, a place to congregate. It feels like a real third place. And a third place is a social location that isn't the home. It's not the workplace. It's somewhere where people can congregate and socialize. And we don't have those as much in the 21st century. Back in the day, people would go to like the roller skating rink or whatever, like back in like the 60s. And people don't do that anymore. Everyone is on their phone at home when they're not at work.
16:41Carl Radke:And it's also like part of our burnout culture. I don't know. I'm going on like a spiel right now and I'm kind of rambling. But all that is to say that I am interested in going to Softbar when it opens and I will be boots on the ground and I will let you know.
16:56Justin Herbert:Yes. I really want you to do a live, like a TikTok or something. I want to see what it's like from Sophie Ross's POV. When you were talking about places to congregate that aren't involving alcohol, the first thing that came to mind, which I don't know if this is a great analogy, but libraries, like people used to congregate at the library back in the day. And I feel like what is an analogous, you guys let us know. Sometimes when we're on the spot, we can't think of things like, or our brain's just not in it. But what are places that are not involving alcohol? So not a restaurant, excluding a coffee shop that people used to congregate at?
17:35Justin Herbert:I guess it's going to have to be SoftBore Cafe and Greenpoint. And a cream point.
17:39Carl Radke:Also, did you see Carl's Luke at the U.S. Open? Because that also is something of note is that he has this new Luke, his hair. It was it was something. It was something. But you know what? I'm rooting for Carl. This I know that he has put a lot of work into this. So, yeah, I guess we'll we'll see what happens.
18:00Justin Herbert:Yeah, I unfortunately, I feel as if this is going to be really hyped up when it first opens. But like Jesse Solomon said last summer, when you calculate the number of drinks you have to sell to break even, that's a lot of drinks. Yeah. When is he ever going to break even?
18:18Carl Radke:I think that, like you said, and he actually talks about this in the video, that there is a section specifically for events. So if he turns it into an event space where a lot of people host events and influencers host parties with brands, like he could make a decent amount of money. But again, it's like it'll probably be a while before he breaks even. But we're rooting for you, Cara. We're rooting for you.
18:41Justin Herbert:No, I agree. I agree. I want to quickly touch on Paige DeSorbo. I am not a fashion girl. Speaking of Summer House. Yeah, speaking of Summer House, I'm not a fashion girlie at all. This is Sophie's realm. But she was captured on IG wearing this look, speaking of looks, with kind of these blue sheer tights with looks to be, what do you call that?
19:06Carl Radke:Daphne branded briefs, like tighty-whities. And Daphne did a restock. her that's her pajama label they just recently did a restock I did not see these tidy whities on the website for the restock it was kind of like their existing styles but yeah it's she loves her her underwear looks yeah I was it harkened back to when she showed up at BravoCon
19:29Justin Herbert:in 2023 with the pink underwear and then a lot of people kind of mimic the style I think Erin Leachy from Real Housewives of New York the reboot also don a similar look yeah they weren't mimicking
19:39Carl Radke:Paige. They were, that was a look at the time. They were not mimicking Paige. Sorry to correct you.
19:45Justin Herbert:No, no, no.
19:45Carl Radke:I mean, start the underwear trend. The pantsless look was a trend that was happening at the time. And that's why I think her posting this photo right now is really interesting. Cause it's like, okay, this trend is kind of over by now.
19:57Justin Herbert:I know it's just, it's an interesting kind of look. And I think Paige self-reclaims herself as being a fashion girl, But yeah, everyone keeps saying what about her is fashion other than matching sets and fast fashion and Zara and Amazon looks.
20:11Carl Radke:I mean, yeah. And fashion is so subjective. I will say that I don't personally look to her as, I mean, unsurprisingly, I feel like it goes without saying that I don't really look at Paige as like a trendsetter or a fashionable person. I do appreciate someone taking a risk. I'm not going to hate on her for like wearing a crazy outfit. Sure. She took a risk. Sure. It's just the fact that, again, the pantsless underwear thing with the pantyhose under it, that was a moment last year. It's not it's not really anymore. So it's like, OK, what are you?
20:49Justin Herbert:Let us know if you guys like this look on her. We're going to post it on our Instagram carousel grid. Like Sophie said, fashion is incredibly subjective. Maybe this is a look for you. and TBH, I kind of want to purchase Daphne just so I could judge the quality of the clothing myself, just for shits and giggles.
21:09Carl Radke:I'll go to Softbar, Boots on the Ground. You purchase Daphne and we can report back to you guys. Wait, that's a great idea. Okay, done. Done. Let's take a quick ad break to talk about Lolo blankets.
21:22Shawn Mendes:One thing about me is that I'm literally always cold, which means I always need to be wrapped in a blanket when I'm home,
21:29Carl Radke:day or night, rain or shine, July or January. And as soon as I first got my hands on one of the famous Lola blankets, I was hooked. It's so soft, big, and cozy. I got the size large, and it's the perfect couch blanket, but also an amazing extra layer for our bed during the winter months, which I'm so excited to use it for. It's seriously the best thing to wrap myself in when I'm watching the summer I turn pretty, love is blind UK, Dexter resurrection. You guys know the vibes. I'd seen so much about Lola Blankets on social media, and now I can confirm firsthand that they absolutely live up to the hype.

22:41Carl Radke:Okay, one other thing that I want to talk about. Did you see that Madison Beer has a new love in her life?
22:47Justin Herbert:Okay, yes. And I'm sorry to this man. I don't know who this person is. Is he an athlete?
22:55Carl Radke:Yeah, so he is the starting quarterback for the Los Angeles Chargers, Justin Herbert. And he is famously, famously very private. Yeah, he's very tall. Oh my God, this height difference. If you guys saw these photos of them, he is famously very, very, very private and low key. And that's why I'm kind of surprised that he agreed to do these pap walks. It's so clearly a pap walk too. Yeah, yeah. But I kind of love it together. I always thought that Madison Beer was really sweet, honestly. And maybe it's because she DM'd me on Twitter once. Stop. Complimenting my Twitter thread when I did a Twitter thread once about, you guys might remember, when Arielle Tarnas went to the Hamptons when she was COVID positive.
23:41Carl Radke:It went viral. And Madison Beer actually DM'd me when that, it's been so long now I don't even feel bad about sharing it. Yeah. But she was so sweet. She was like, thank you for speaking up about this. I think it's really important to call out because this was a very scary time for everyone. And yeah, she was really sweet in my DMs. And ever since I've kind of been a Madison Beer apologist, I think that she, I would give her advice if I were her management, maybe on what to do with her career. Cause I feel like she's never fully broken through, but nothing helps a pop girl better than having a high profile relationship.
24:19Carl Radke:and he is very high profile. So I'm into it.
24:22Justin Herbert:Yeah, I think with Madison Beer, that's a good point that you bring up. She hasn't been able to break into mainstream music. I know she does have a very dedicated fan base and her fans absolutely love her, but she's never been able to ascend to maybe even like a Tate McRae or a Renee Rapp or Sabrina Carpenter. These are like the young pop stars that I can think of that are really gaining traction in the 2020s. But when Shannon Affluently Ford has commentated on this because she does follow Madison Beer's music, Like if you go into my head, ask me to name a song of hers, I would be killed. But something about her, she's just so perfect.
24:58Justin Herbert:And so there's not a flaw that I can see. And I think even in her music video, she still presents as perfect. And it almost seems all of our celebrities should be to a degree unrelatable, not to be like Rachel Hollis. But like, you know what I mean? They have this aura that screams star power. She has an aura that screams star power, but it's like to the nth degree. It's almost like you are too perfect. You're like a doll that you almost are not even human.
25:24Carl Radke:I think that's the thing. And we just did a Tyra Banks, America's Next Top Model episode last week. And we talked about the makeover episodes and how she would just chop off every girl with long brown hair's hair into like a short, edgy pixie cut. Honestly, that's what I would do for Madison Beer. She's too pretty. She's like too pretty, too just conventionally attractive, too perfect. And that's a good thing, but I think that it might be hindering her that she's too just perfect and also doesn't have a, I feel like with Tate McRae, her niche is that she's like a really, really, really good dancer.
26:01Carl Radke:Yeah. And Sabrina Carpenter, she has that like Betty Boop thing. You mentioned Renee Rapp. Renee Rapp is kind of edgy. She's very outspoken about social issues. With Madison Beer, it's just like, you're a very pretty girl. Yeah. And honestly.
26:15Justin Herbert:Beautiful girl.
26:16Carl Radke:Beautiful girl. Oh, but do you have what it takes? But is she a superstar?
26:21Justin Herbert:Yeah, I, and to be honest, maybe it's because I'm not on the same side of the internet as people that watch Madison Beer, but I've never heard her be messy on interviews or have these like quotable moments. She just seems like a really pretty face. And again, I could be out speaking out of turn because I, maybe I'm just not on the right side of the internet. But again, who is Madison Beer?
26:40Carl Radke:Who is she? It makes the judges worried. That's our Tyra Banks impression, if you can't tell. But yeah, I like this pairing though, again, because I love a pop girl and an NFL player. I mean, hello, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey. And then also Haley Steinfeld and Josh Allen, who got married earlier this year. I'm into it. I think that it could boost her profile in a good way because I'm rooting for her.
27:06Justin Herbert:We were all rooting for you. Yeah. And what I will say is I know someone that I've interacted. I don't know this girl. I've interacted with her stylist before who also styles Stassi Baby. And she said Madison and Stassi Baby are like incredible to work with. Unproblematic, very sweet, easy to work with, great clients. So a friend of Madison Beard is a friend of mine. No, you know what I meant.
27:34Carl Radke:Yeah, no, I completely know what you mean. And like I said, we are basically best friends because we DM'd on Twitter once. So I am very much rooting for her.
27:43Justin Herbert:I really want to talk about Emily Kaiser breaking her silence on her son, Treg, tragically passing away a couple months ago. This has been on our agenda to speak on, but to be honest, it felt very – it was so deeply tragic that Sophie and I had no idea how to approach it. So while it would sometimes be on our DET notes, we struggled to even talk about it because we were too scared of perhaps saying the wrong thing. And this is such a sensitive topic that we don't ever mean to offend or say something wrong. Above all else, this is a horrific tragedy. And I think that no one feels worse than the parents of Triggs.
28:21Justin Herbert:So I think what is being spoken about when it comes to Brady and Emily, it's just, it's horrible. They have a sentence for life, which is having to deal with the trauma that comes with this horrible event. And my hearts are with them. I cannot even imagine losing a child before you die, but also losing a child at such a young age. I mean, it's incomprehensible. It's unfathomable. And I think all of us were kind of holding our breath for months, just kind of waiting for some semblance, like a noise coming from Emily Kaiser. I think as recently as, I don't know, maybe within the last month, I saw this creator on TikTok.
28:57Justin Herbert:She spotted Emily at an Ikea, and she took a photo with Emily and posted it. and people were saying, was this taken before or after the tragedy? And the creator confirmed, no, it was like after the tragedy. But people were even criticizing Emily for even smiling in the photo. So it's like, no matter what this woman does, people have something to say about it. She's smiling, so she's not mourning enough or she's not saying anything. So what does that mean? You know, it's just everything could be misconstrued. And so I think for her to finally speak on it herself, we felt it was OK for us to speak on it, too, if that makes sense.
29:31Carl Radke:Yeah, no, thank you for saying that. And I also understand the outrage and anger that a lot of people feel about the fact that Brady was not formally charged. And as we know now, Brady had let Trigg out of his sight. Emily was not home, so it was Brady's responsibility. Had let Trigg out of his sight for about 10 minutes while he was watching a basketball game that he had bet on. And obviously, this is negligence. and also the fact that Emily and Brady never installed a pool fence, which Emily in her statement, it's a very long statement, and you guys can go read it on either her Instagram or her TikTok.
30:11Carl Radke:But Emily takes accountability for not installing a pool fence. So obviously there's culpability there all around. For Brady's part, he literally was supposed to be watching his toddler at this time and failed to do so. And now, like Christy said, has a life sentence. And as for Emily, she didn't do enough to protect her son. And she acknowledges this in her statement. And I know that a lot of people feel that if they weren't white, privileged, wealthy, that they would be going to prison for this. So I understand the outrage. I also the amount of hate that they have incurred on social media and just on the Internet.
30:49Carl Radke:It's just I can't even imagine on top of losing their son. And obviously they probably wish, I mean, definitely wish that they could go back in time and change the outcome and have their son back. And it's just, it's so, it's just so tragic to think about. And something that I noticed in her statement is, and I thought it was a really good statement. She's soft launching, I think her coming back to social media. And of course people are going to have thoughts on that and people are going to judge her for it. I think realistically, it's her job and people have to go back to their jobs after losing their children or going through tragedy.
31:32Carl Radke:It's how she makes a living. So it's not totally surprising. I actually wasn't expecting her to come back all year. I was like, maybe next year. So I was kind of really surprised to see that statement, but she it's her job. So she has to come back to work. and of course they can get real desk jobs, but she does social media. She likes social media. She noted that she understands the parasocial relationship and how the relationship that her followers had with Trig lacks boundaries. And that's because she showed him so much and implied that she is not going to do the same thing with her son, Teddy.
32:10Carl Radke:It seems like she's not going to show her son, Teddy, when she comes back. And I think that's the right move. I mean, the amount of edits that people made of trig on TikTok is so disturbing. I know. So horrible. I don't know how someone even begins to grieve or move on when every time they open their phone, it's everywhere. It's the news articles. The true crime, law and crime was covering it. Then you have the TikTokers, the TikTok fans, the edits. It's just crazy. The other thing is that she didn't mention Brady. She mentions her fans. She mentions her family and thanks them for their support.
32:45Carl Radke:She thanks the fans for their support. Does not mention Brady. So she does say we a few times in the statement. She could be referring to herself and Teddy, obviously her other son. But it's, you know, it's a question mark. Are they going to stay together? I don't know how exactly a marriage can survive this. But maybe she also feels just as culpable as Brady does. And so therefore doesn't put all of the blame on him. I don't know. Yeah.
33:15Justin Herbert:And I think what was really, I think, aggravating and horrible for me to learn as all this was unfolding before she made her statement was that people obviously police reports are public information that we as citizens of our towns are allowed to retrieve, frankly, anything. and she was doing her best to seal these documents, the surveillance videos that were captured of Trigg passing away in that pool. And the fact that I think in Maricopa County in Arizona, like people before she had even made a statement were trying to receive all this information. And it just, it's such an invasion of one's privacy.
33:53Justin Herbert:And even the things I was reading online about people commentating on this death, it's just, it really shows the most, the darkest sides of the internet. And this is something that they will have to reconcile with for the rest of their life. And a family I know that lost a daughter, she was only seven, in a car accident. Typically, marriages don't survive this. It's really hard for parents to reconcile and come together. Obviously, this isn't a hard and fast rule. Every family is different, but it is really difficult for marriages to survive it. So I really hope her and Freddie are able to work through it together.
34:30Justin Herbert:But if they're not, I also understand that. And it was even more horrific because I guess like the, Brady was alerted by the family dog because the family dog was looking at the pool like very bizarrely, which he never does. And all of it is just horrifying. And I completely understand and respect Emily's decision to not show her other son moving forward. And at the same time too, it's like for people to judge her for coming back to social media. as Sophie mentioned this is her living unfortunately to you you're just watching her on your phone doing cool stuff but like this is how she earns a living and how she's able to sustain her lifestyle we don't understand their mortgage payment or what she needs to do to make ends meet not only is she suffering with a tragic loss of her very young son but also to have to under to have to wrestle with earning money on top of that and financial struggles like that's just another layer that you cannot and will not have the capacity to deal with along with this other thing on your plate, which is like a huge tragic thing.
35:29Justin Herbert:So I do not blame her at all for coming back to social media. In fact, it's a necessity, I'd imagine, for her to come back and keep her life moving. So, oh, this whole thing is just, it's so, so tragic. And I didn't even know who Emily Kaiser was before this. You actually were the one that kind of brought the case up. You're like, have you heard of it? And I hadn't, but then now I haven't been able to look away.
35:53Carl Radke:Mm hmm. Yeah. And like you said about trying to seal the records, including body cam footage of the first responders, and then also they had surveillance cameras in their backyard. Yep. I completely understand. I know there's been a lot of controversy around her trying to seal those records and people thinking, what is she hiding? This is a constitutional right for us to access these documents and this footage. I think that she is someone who there's there's just it's been a media storm.
36:24Justin Herbert:Yeah.
36:24Carl Radke:And it's completely understandable that she would not want her son's last moments out there on the Internet forever, because once they get out there, it's forever. The Internet is forever. It's completely understandable, in my opinion. And again, I understand how people feel that there's a lot of hypocrisy, that there's a double standard for this couple and that less wealthy couple that were people of color, they would be treated differently. And I don't disagree at all. Yeah. I think that is absolutely true. It's absolutely true that Brady Kaiser, if he were a babysitter, if he were a person of color, he would probably be in prison.
37:08Carl Radke:And I, yeah, it's not fair. It's everything about it is tragic either way. I think that it's, it is what it is. They were not charged for whatever reason. and like Chrissy said, they have a life sentence and they're going to have to live with not only the loss of their son, but the guilt that it was their fault. And they didn't, I mean, it's safe to say this was not on purpose. They didn't want this to happen. Of course. That goes without saying it was an accident, but it was an accident caused by negligence. Right. And it was 100 % preventable,
37:44Justin Herbert:which is the most devastating part of it all.
37:47Carl Radke:Yep. And I like how in Emily's statement also, Also, she says, I hope that, like I said, she took full accountability for not having a pool fence, which I was very surprised, pleasantly surprised that she did. And also says, I hope that this tragedy will prevent other toddler deaths in the future. And I think it will. I think that, honestly, it probably already has. Yeah, I agree.
38:09Justin Herbert:I remember, God, this is like kind of sad, but I remember when Jen Atkin, she's like a celebrity hairstylist. she had shown footage of her poor dog being in – there's coyotes in my backyard literally all the time. They're rampant in Southern California. We are living on their territory after all. But she posted a video of a coyote snatching her dog. Oh, my God. It really – I know. It raised awareness though. I think sometimes when you have a reach, it's a responsibility almost to call attention to it to ensure that other people don't experience that same kind of loss. And so I remember after watching that video being like, okay, well, if I ever bring Hank, out to the backyard, I need to make sure he is always within eye's distance that I am very close by to him in the event that a coyote will come into my backyard like they always do.
38:54Justin Herbert:Oh my God. So just, I mean, like you have a responsibility as a person who has that reach to acknowledge what happens to ensure that future fatalities don't happen.
39:05Carl Radke:Yeah. And I know that a lot of people also have mentioned how she blocked them and deleted their comments when they would suggest adding a pool fence. There's no proof that I've seen that she said she didn't want a pool fence because of aesthetics. That's been a long standing rumor and all this is that she it was the aesthetics. And that's why. And I haven't seen any proof of that. I know that a lot of people have said that they were blocked or their comments were deleted. It sucks that she didn't that she didn't think earlier that a pool fence was important.
39:37Shawn Mendes:Yeah.
39:38Carl Radke:And she is going to have to live with that forever. and I like had vaguely, again, I alerted Christy about this when it happened. I vaguely knew who she was. I knew she was friends with Avery Woods. Yes. And I hadn't really followed her content. And then after this happened, I retroactively discovered her content and it was very clear that they love Trigg. And they also, they were very young parents.
40:05Justin Herbert:I know. And it doesn't,
40:06Carl Radke:And I think that they were really young and they just never thought it would happen to them. And it's just a fucking tragedy all around. And just watching old videos of Trig, he was such a sweet, adorable, just such a sweet child. And it just is incredibly unfair that he's no longer here because of his parents' negligence. And I don't know what else to say. I think it's like we said, the amount of people that have been sending them hate and vitriol. I know that Brady just deleted his Instagram, which good, honestly, like he should be on social media. Absolutely.
40:44Justin Herbert:And I don't I didn't mean that he should as in like he should. It's more of like he should to protect his peace. That's yeah.
40:50Carl Radke:It's like there's no reason for him to be on social media at this point. Like Emily is the one that had the job as an influencer. She is the one that is clearly going to come back. I guess we'll see if she stays together with Brady. But yeah, it's interesting that he deleted his Instagram shortly after she released her statement for whatever reason. I also saw that Brady's dad just climbed. He did some climbing thing. I'm sorry, I don't have the details in front of me in honor of Trigg. He was wearing blue for drowning awareness and also had a lanyard with Trigg's face on it. So it's more than just Brady and Emily that are affected by Trigg's loss.
41:26It is their entire extended family.
41:29Carl Radke:It's everyone who knew him. And then obviously, to Emily's point in her statement, there was kind of an inappropriate parasocial relationship that her followers had with Trigg because they watched him grow up on camera. And it really calls into question the ethics of mommy bloggers.
41:48Justin Herbert:No, it absolutely does. And I think mommy bloggers after this has happened, I'm not shaming anyone who wants to post their child. It's your, you know it's your life it's your child you raise them and feature them however you wish but it does kind of call into question yeah the ethics of like how much should we be showing our children that really don't have the wherewithal or or brain to to say no consent to it yeah yeah so heavy heavy topic but obviously our hurts are with emily's family brady's family all their friends it's this has ripple effects, you know, like it really does. And all these people will forever be changed by this trauma.
42:31Justin Herbert:So we wish them healing and peace.
42:34Carl Radke:And a little brother, Teddy, who unfortunately, something we didn't mention was that Brady said that he wasn't watching Trigg because he was, quote unquote, connecting with his newborn. So Teddy is going to grow up and also not know what it's like to have an older brother because of this tragedy. And so thinking of Teddy also and just rest in peace, Trig. I know that I didn't know you personally, but you seemed like such a sweet little angel and it's just not fair.
43:05Justin Herbert:It's not. Okay. Well, should we move on to do a palate cleanser. Yeah, let's do a palate cleanser. Should we do light energy objects?
43:20Carl Radke:Yes, I need a palate cleanser after that very heavy conversation. Yes.

48:55Carl Radke:So something that I have enjoyed doing recently is healing my inner child by watching my favorite childhood movies on Disney Plus. And Disney Plus is not worth it to me, honestly. Like I've talked about before that Disney Plus is so stupid. It's not worth it. We only have it because Henry likes the Star Wars and or show or whatever. Like he likes the Star Wars shit. So we have it because of Henry. But I watched James and the Giant Peach. Did you ever watch that growing up? Yeah, but it's been so long. Mine was Little Mermaid. Love Little Mermaid. Guys, I highly recommend if you're having a bad day, a bad week, go watch.
49:34Carl Radke:Recently, I also watched Fantasia, which was another one of my favorites when I was younger. And then I heard that in a live action Aristocats was maybe going to happen, but it got canceled. And it reminded me that Aristocats exists. So I'm going to go watch Aristocats tonight.
49:50Justin Herbert:Okay. I love that. It's great to kind of harken back to nostalgic memories that when innocence was more of a thing, you know, back when we had our innocence and weren't as jaded. I love how mine is light energy objects reading one night in Idaho about the Idaho four. And again, we talked about this, something about true crime, crime. It's almost numbing to the brain. And I was talking about this with my coworker because we were, again, I kind of touched on this a couple of weeks ago. Like I just went through kind of something a little bit dark. And so I've been, I was talking to her about just the darkness that is like death and stuff like that.
50:25Justin Herbert:And we were talking about how people with true crime, it's almost a way to have a control of the outcome of like you're just listening to someone else's story it's detached enough but i don't mean this in a dark sadistic way i'm just saying this is how my brain works i can't control it but i've been going through a lot as well i think so it's been a it's been a lot this month for sophie and i quite honestly for our own personal reasons so i love how you're like aristocats james and the giant peach i'm like reading one night and night out yeah so however you need to calm your brain whether it's reading about true crime watching your favorite nostalgic film we are with you on whatever you decide to do to make peace in your body and your spirit yeah we have a baby snark that sent us a book that she published her name is Allie Kriegsman and she has a book coming out on I believe it's September 12th called The Rays she sent me this like she sent me the book with a note about how much like she enjoys snarkbait and it was like honestly such a thoughtful thing and something about a handwritten note it just hits differently yeah it reminds me of like the 90s when we used to write notes not texts and she wrote like the nicest thing and it came in this beautiful like the presentation of the way that she sent the book was beautiful she sent like a matchbox that was uniquely branded and the the book came in this kind of I don't know what you call it like a pouch but I'm really looking forward to reading it and I'm looking forward to discuss my review once I finish the book but something about fiction books is I like, again, like crime and thrillers and spooky.
51:55Justin Herbert:And I'm excited to get into that.
51:56Carl Radke:I love thrillers. I'm really excited to read it. So thank you, Allie, for being a baby snark and also sending us free copies. This is like my first time I get like a free book. I'm so excited.
52:06Justin Herbert:And before it got published, I was like, oh, my God, am I like.
52:09Carl Radke:Advanced copy, baby.
52:11Justin Herbert:Yeah, it was very exciting. OK, so just to kind of round it out as like just funny, just we need some levity in this conversation obviously it's it's dark and we have to we don't want to end it on a sad note so let's just talk about our dark energy objects let me start whenever you're trying to like log into a website when they say select the motorcycles in this picture have you seen that meme where it's that guy sweating at the office like he's in his cubicle and he's sweating
52:35Carl Radke:that's yeah every time i see one of those fucking things yeah or it's like select the stoplights and it'll have one corner of one. I was like, does this count? No. Do you select it? I select if it has just like a piece of a stoplight or a piece of a motorcycle. You have to look very closely. Yes, it counts, I think.
52:58Justin Herbert:Me too. Because usually when I select it, it takes me to the next page. Clear cash. I am not a robot. Select the motorcycle.
53:04Carl Radke:We need to make sure you're not a robot. I feel like robots are smarter than me at this point. They could do this.
53:10Justin Herbert:I mean, with AI, AI can do that and detect it faster and more accurately, in fact.
53:16Carl Radke:I'm sure they're training AI to be able to do those so they can pretend they're humans for whatever website it is that we're trying to hack into. What website? Like, why do they do that? Like, what websites?
53:30Justin Herbert:And we're asking this genuinely and earnestly. Why? And also that makes me think of when we're talking about AI. I came across this TikTok last night. It had over 2 million likes. it was this guy I think he lives in the Philippines and it was even funnier he was talking with his iPad to like the Google AI that speaks back to you he goes hello I'm not even gonna try to imitate the accent but it was so funny and cute he goes please list every person's name in the world and he goes I can't do that no no no start with China go no I appreciate your your humor but I I cannot do that. No, no, no. Start with the Philippines.
54:07Justin Herbert:Go. Like I was crying.
54:10Carl Radke:Why can't, why can't it do that?
54:12Justin Herbert:Yeah. And everyone was commenting like, like open AI is like building. It was like a building in flames. Like it can't handle to name every single, like the billions of people that live on this world, every single name. But he kept asking it and I kept like laughing nervously and be like, I appreciate your enthusiasm. I cannot do that. But I need to send it to you. It was so fucking funny. um so that's my deo you know half of a submission but the last one my dark energy object sean mendez just sean mendez period something about him gives me the willies i at one point when he did senorita with camilla camilla cabello i was all about it in fact i saw him in concert at oakland at the oakland arena with my friend we almost got meet and greet tickets that's how obsessed I was at one point oh my god ever since that concert he's kind of just given me bad vibes and you've heard all those things about him potentially being in a cult him dating like someone who what is he in great question I don't know enough well maybe you have to do a patreon deep dive on Shawn Mendes and cults or Miley Cyrus and cults I think it was maybe the same cult that Miley Cyrus was in Jordan can you fact check me on that if that was the allegation but in any case Shawn Mendes, he just he seems very troubled.
55:28Justin Herbert:I think that's what it is. And he hasn't gotten help. And I think just his energies reads very dark to me.
55:34Carl Radke:I can see that. I can see that for sure. I mean, anyone who is part of any scary cult. Yeah, I I'm not into that. I think that we forget a lot. Just SNL has been in the news a lot because they're recasting, just rejiggering their cast. They fired a couple of people recently. and Chloe Fineman. I've seen some discourse about how she's a Scientologist and I feel like we forget that a lot.
56:00Justin Herbert:Yes, yes, yes, yes. And I think Chloe Fineman, actually, I don't want to misspeak. I don't want to say wrong information, but thank you, Jordan. She just looked it up. The Modern Mystery School. Thank you very much. So there's reports that Miley and Sean are in a cult, but they're unfounded, but they're both linked to this Modern Mystery School in recent years, but neither artist has confirmed involvement.
56:17Carl Radke:What the fuck is the Modern Mystery School? Like, okay, Hogwarts. Like, oh my God. It sounds like the school that they go to. And did you ever watch the Sabrina reboot with Kieran Sherpa or whatever? Kieran Sherpa. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Kieran and Shipka. Shipka. The Mad Men. Yes. It was actually really good, but I feel like that was the name of their school.
56:39Justin Herbert:Wasn't he in a... Wasn't Gavin Leatherwood from... Yes. Okay. Yeah.
56:44Carl Radke:What happened with him?
56:46Justin Herbert:We'll talk about it offline, but yeah.
56:47Carl Radke:Wait. He disappeared.
56:50Justin Herbert:As he should.
56:51Carl Radke:He's a bad guy. he's a nefarious character. Yes. Okay, good. Yeah.
56:55Justin Herbert:But it's not like known, but yeah, I don't like him.
56:58Carl Radke:Okay, fair enough.
56:59Justin Herbert:Yeah.
57:01Carl Radke:Anyway, anyway, moving on. Yeah, he also was in, yeah, Sex Lives with a College Girl season one, and then just kind of was no longer part of the show at all, which was kind of strange. Anyway, my dark energy object, as you guys know, I really like this influencer, Emma Leger, and I talked about her. I love her, but I kind of got the ick because, and we talked about this on a recent Patreon episode about trending influencer topics about how she has a new boyfriend who's based in New York, who she met literally last month, which is fine. If you know, you know, I'm not judging people who move quickly in relationships.
57:41Carl Radke:Sometimes you just know. Great. I'm not judging her at all, but she's moving to New York. moving to New York for him from Canada from Vancouver. And like I said, she had just moved to Paris for her ex-boyfriend last year and was there for about like six months. So she's moving again. And I just feel bad for her cat because when she moved to Paris, she didn't bring her cat. A lot of people in her TikTok comments, when she announced that she was moving to New York, people were like, are you bringing Pippa your cat? And she didn't answer.
58:15Justin Herbert:people that re-home their animals. I think of every, do you know who I'm thinking about when I say this? We did an episode on this person.
58:25Carl Radke:Not Brianna Chicken Frat because she didn't re-home her animals. She just lost them. Correct. It's not Brianna, BCF. Who is it?
58:32Justin Herbert:Logan Paul.
58:33Carl Radke:Oh yeah, Logan Paul, who just got married, by the way. Also, my other dark energy object is his wedding. Oh yeah.
58:41Justin Herbert:In Lake, didn't they get married in Lake Como?
58:42Carl Radke:They got married in Lake Como. And I mean, Nina Ogdal looked beautiful. She wore a Galia LeHav dress. Serena Kerrigan was a bridesmaid, which. Fifi has never been more excited to be invited to the royal wedding. He was chasing around Jake Paul. All night he was following Jake Paul around. And did you see that video of Jake Paul punching the wedding cake?
59:06Justin Herbert:No, but why does that not surprise me literally at all?
59:09Carl Radke:Jake Paul is punching anything in his. Yeah. And they also, Serena and Felix brought their dog, Poncho, to the wedding. Enough. Enough. So it's like, I don't know. I just think that some of these influencers, they don't, pets are not accessories. It's like a life commitment that you are committing to for their entire lives. And I just think it's so selfish how some of these influencers are with their animals. I think of Poncho Serena Kerrigan's dog, Emma Leger's cat Pippa, who she she's always traveling, which is great. She says she loves to travel and she has tons of family in Vancouver who watch her cat when she travels around.
59:51Carl Radke:But now she moves to New York. I think, I mean, otherwise she should squash the rumors that she's not bringing her cat right now. If she were actually bringing him or for, I mean, Pippa's a girl, but it seems like she's not because she's not going to have that same family to watch her cat in New York when she travels around. And it's so disturbing. And even, I know we were talking about Paige DeSorbo. Paige DeSorbo brings her cat Daphne around in a carrier and cats famously do not like to be brought. They're not like dogs where they, like with Baxter, I bring him to a lot of places because he's a dog and he likes to walk around and likes to be social.
1:00:27Carl Radke:Like cats are home buddies from what I know about cats. So Paige DeSorbo has also gotten some flack for the way that she treats Daphne like an accessory. And I mean, just look at her pajama line named after her and the photo shoots and, you know, bring Daphne to the launch events and stuff like that. I don't know. So basically, I guess my overarching dark energy object is the way that some of these influencers treat their animals.
1:00:52Justin Herbert:Yeah, and on the other side of that, I just think of when people criticize Tinks for leaving her cat in, I think she's permanently in New York. I don't follow Tinks anymore, But people always say they were annoyed how she would travel a lot and just leave her cat. But I guess, to your point, perhaps it's best to leave the cat at home. And as long as it's taken care of, they are creatures of habit.
1:01:13Carl Radke:Yes, exactly. And so with the Emma Leger thing, it's like, okay, well, you travel a lot and you leave your cat at home, which is sad because the cat misses its owner. It's good that you're not schlepping the cat around all over because cats are creatures of habit. Right. But the fact that she is moving countries and not bringing her cat is really sad to me because that cat loves her owner.
1:01:34Justin Herbert:I hope that she at least leaves it with her mom. But I'm sorry. The Serena fucking Kerrigan and Fifi like traipsing their dog throughout Europe is so irresponsible. Like dogs need routine. I get that they're social creatures and you can take them to the restaurant like you do or take them out for walks, for long walks. For you to put them on a plane for as long as you do, different time zones, like forcing them to sleep at weird times. Like it's to a degree it's almost – I'm not saying they do this all the time. But if this became a habit, that's low-key kind of like animal abuse a bit.
1:02:03Carl Radke:Like forcing him to swim when he clearly didn't want to swim. Holding him wrong because he's a dachshund. He has – there are very specific ways to hold and treat dachshunds because of their bodies. Yeah. It's all very dark. I don't like it. I changed my answer.
1:02:19Justin Herbert:What's your answer? It's Fifi and Serena fucking Kerrigan bringing their dog to Italy. Like you said, it's as an accessory for Instagram. It's sick.
1:02:28Carl Radke:An accessory in the amount in the amount of ads. You guys know that Serena fucking Kerrigan is my B.C. You guys know that if you listen to the show, you already know that. So everything she does is going to piss me off. So maybe it's just me. But the amount of ads that she has done and the amount of photo shoots she does now where Poncho is just her accessory in the photo shoot is so disturbing to me.
1:02:48Justin Herbert:Give me a break. Like, seriously, give me a break. Take care of your fucking animal or bring it. make sure that he's stable and has consistency. Yeah. My mom goes to London all the fucking time. She's not bringing Hank. Yeah. She keeps him with me because he likes his home.
1:03:03Carl Radke:Yeah, exactly. But then your mom comes home eventually. She's not moving countries. Right. So I think there's a happy medium between bringing your animal everywhere and abandoning them, which is you're allowed to travel sometimes without your animal, but then you come home to them. Exactly.
1:03:16Justin Herbert:And you know what? No, I changed my answer, like I said.
1:03:19Carl Radke:But you're allowed to think Shawn Mendes is dark too.
1:03:21Justin Herbert:I'm telling you, we need a Shawn Mendes episode. Like I'm - We do. Something about him, my intuition screams danger, danger, danger. Like he's - I do like - He's violent. I'm just saying his energy is very nefarious and troubled to me. He needs to handle his own demons.
1:03:38Carl Radke:I will - I'm sorry. His demons. I will say that I am - I am - You like Shawn Mendes. No, I don't necessarily like Shawn Mendes, but I like Benny Drama's impressions. I love everything Benny Drama does. I'm obsessed with Benny Drama. So funny. And Benny Drama's impressions of Shawn Mendes are so funny. And then Shawn Mendes will like be in the comments sometimes laughing at himself, which I appreciate. Yes.
1:04:01Justin Herbert:I like that he can poke fun at people poking fun at him. Like he's in all the jokes he doesn't take it personally because it is in good spirits. We're not trying to like be seriously mean about him. It's just, well, except me, maybe. He needs to take care of his mental.
1:04:14Carl Radke:Like what? I don't even know him. I know. Oh, my ring light. My second ring light just went out. Okay, perfect timing because I feel like that's about it, you guys. And this was, I know that we talked about some dark stuff on this episode. So take care of yourself, guys. We love you so much. Thank you for listening. 1:05:19Shawn Mendes:I've been a diehard TaskRabbit stan long before they were a sponsor. I cannot remember the last time I moved without enlisting a tasker, whether it was for assembling furniture, mounting a TV, hanging artwork, the list goes on. And it's not just during a move when your to-do list can feel like it's 10 pages long. Sometimes I really just need an extra hand for those little things I feel like I never end up getting around to myself. Like finally hanging the wedding photos I promised myself and Henry that I do for months now. Wherever you are, TaskRabbit is there to help. TaskRabbit connects you with skilled taskers in your area for moving, furniture, assembly, home repairs, yard work, mounting, and more.

1:06:36Shawn Mendes:Nothing makes you appreciate good bedding more than a hot August night. Having something that's lightweight, breathable, cool, and easy to sleep in no matter how hot it gets is so freaking important. That's why I love Quince. It's my go-to for bedding for so long now with high-quality materials like 100 % European linen and organic cotton. You can feel the difference, you guys. It feels like you're in a hotel bed, okay? Quince has everything you need to give your bed the biggest upgrade, from breathable sheets to linen shams and duvet covers and soft seasonal colors, stripes, timeless neutrals, you name it.

As a lifelong renter who's probably going to be renting for the rest of my life at this point, it's hard for me to justify splurging on custom furniture or, like, chic, expensive vintage home finds when I know this isn't my forever home. That's what Wayfair is for. Because even though renting makes me less enthusiastic about spending money on furniture and home decor, I still want my apartment to feel chic and elevated. Duh. I've turned to Wayfair for home upgrades for over a decade now, long before they were a sponsor.
1:08:27Shawn Mendes:From an armoire in our second bedroom to a randomly extremely chic wicker laundry basket that I'm literally obsessed with, Wayfair makes quality pieces that stand up to real life without breaking the bank. Budget-friendly but chic finds make all the difference in your space, in my opinion. Whether you're a renter like me or an actual homeowner, which don't rub it in, you can even see real customer feedback and photos before you buy, so you can shop with confidence. And with Wayfair Awards, you can get 5 % back on every purchase, helping you get even more value from your Wayfair purchases and create a home you love without overspending.

1:09:15Madison Beer:Wayfair. Every style, every home. Hey, it's Ryan Reynolds here from Mint Mobile. Now, I was looking for fun ways to tell you that Mint's offer of unlimited premium wireless for$15 a month is back. So I thought it would be fun if we made$15 bills. But it turns out that's very illegal. So there goes my big idea for the commercial. Well, give it a try at mintmobile.com slash switch.
1:09:39Shawn Mendes:Up-front payment of$45 for three months,$90 for six months, or$180 for 12-month plan required. $15 per month equivalent. Taxes and fees extra. Initial plan term only. Greater than 50 gigabytes. May slow when network is busy. See terms.
