0:33Danielle Bernstein:As a proud auntie to the newly one-year-old Miss Mo, I take my role very seriously. I may not be responsible for keeping her alive, but I am responsible for being her favorite and gifting her amazing pajamas. And here's the thing. If there's anything I know about Miss Mo and other babies in general, if they're uncomfortable, they will let you know. And that's why I and my sister and Miss Mo are obsessed with little sleepies. First, the fabric. It's so soft, I literally want to wear it myself. They're also designed with thoughtful little details that make getting dressed easier instead of a full contact sport.
1:09Danielle Bernstein:You're welcome, Audrey. Also, their pieces grow with your kid, which is huge. Because every time I see Miss Mo, she's somehow a completely different size? Little sleepies actually last, so you're not replacing everything every five minutes. which as someone who buys the cute stuff, I deeply appreciate. If you're expecting or dressing little ones, check out Little Sleepies. You can visit littlesleepies.com and use promo code goodnight for 10 % off your first order. Then, when you're ready for new clothes, just swap them out for new-to-use styles. We've all been there. 3:03Danielle Bernstein:Try Armoire today. Hey, everybody. Welcome back to another bonus emergency press conference episode of Snarkbait. I am Christy.
3:14Snark Bait Hosts:I'm Sophie and yeah you guys obviously we had to hop on the mic this is this is a red alert this is an emergency as you guys know uh Danielle Bernstein Miss What called off her engagement on Friday January 30th she announced it and we obviously had no choice but to be here today
3:40Danielle Bernstein:And the funniest part is, and then, Sophie, I do want you to speak to the updated change in programming for this week. But the TLDR is Rachel, our social manager, and I recorded DET. And quite literally, after we hopped off this recording, 10 minutes later, Danielle Bernstein announced this. But before we get into all of that, the breaking of the engagement, Sophie, do you want to give the baby snarks kind of an update? Yeah. You guys will see Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, if you're a patron, we have a different guest. But Sophie is out of office this week and she can explain why.
4:15Snark Bait Hosts:Yeah, I'm out of office for the upcoming episodes. I'm back, but the episodes that we record on Thursday and Fridays and today, Christy recorded Patreon with a special guest. My grandfather tragically passed away last week. And so, yeah, I obviously went to go spend time with my family. And oh, my God, I'm going to get emotional again. I thought I was done crying. No, it's OK. He was just an amazing guy who, 92 years, you know, he should have been at the club. He was just a kid, you know. No, I'm kidding. 92 years. He lived an amazing life and just an amazing legacy that he leaves behind with, I have like what feels like thousands of first cousins.
5:10So it was so nice to be together and
5:15Snark Bait Hosts:thank you for stepping in and allowing me that time with my family because it was very, in Jewish tradition, it happens really fast. We bury our dead very quickly. So I had to get home quickly. It all happened really fast. And I so appreciate Christy and the rest of the Starkbait team allowing me the time to be out of office and be with my family. So that is why you will not see me on the rest of the episodes this week. But I'm back. So the episodes that we record later this week, I will be a part of. But yeah, I just I so appreciate you, Christy, and the rest of the Snarkbait team, Olivia and Rachel, for stepping in.
6:01Snark Bait Hosts:It really just it meant the world to me. And yeah.
6:04Danielle Bernstein:Yeah. Well, we're so happy you're back. But of course, it's it during these times when life just stops, you know, it's so important that you just are with your family. So you would do it for me and I would do it 20 times over again. And regardless, I'm so happy you're back to record this episode with me because we were kind of joking off mic. Sometimes in moments of tragedy, all you can do is just laugh a little, bring light to the situation. And Sophie goes, you know, we were sitting shiva. You know, we were sitting shiva. And then I found out about the engagement and I had to tell everyone at shiva, hey, everyone, stop what you're doing.
6:38Danielle Bernstein:Danielle Bernstein's engagement is called off.
6:41Snark Bait Hosts:You guys, she's not exaggerating. That's exactly what I announced it at my grandfather's Shiva. Yep. Everyone's, you know, in tears.
6:48Danielle Bernstein:And Sophie goes, I'm sorry to interrupt this really quickly because this quite literally broke the internet. So we were absolutely shocked. Florida. And I think that if you guys are baby snarks, you guys are equally as online as Sophie and I. And the writing was on the wall. We've known since that engagement party happened in the Q4 2025 that ever since that engagement party, something has been very off. And I think this was just a confirmation that we were all waiting for. But Sophie, walk me through your initial thoughts and reactions when you saw this Instagram story.
7:24Snark Bait Hosts:First of all, obviously, I was not like on my phone a lot that day. Picked up my phone. I had more texts than I think I've ever gotten in my life. Like, Oh, my God. Like, I cannot even explain how much my phone was. I was like, what happened? I was like, oh, like, are people, you know, texting me condolences about my grandfather? No, it was this. So Danielle posted this was like Friday. It was like Friday evening on the East Coast for late afternoon, early evening. And her statement was, I've been quiet about my personal life and wasn't ready to speak on it until now. We're stepping away from our relationship with love and respect.
8:09Snark Bait Hosts:There's no big dramatic reason. Sometimes it's simply not the right forever. I'm not sure what the future holds, but this choice took courage. I would really appreciate privacy and grace for both of us during this time. Thank you for the support. Also, right away, Page Six, People Magazine, it was all over. And the phrasing was, Danielle Bernstein called off her engagement. so yes it seems like this was it was intentionally put out there that was her decision whether that's true or not i think that we'll never hear mini coops her fiance's name ex-fiance's name is cooper weissman right i don't think we will ever people call mini coop we've explained this before because he's you know he's petite and his name's cooper so i don't think we'll ever hear his side of the story because I imagine he had to sign an NDA.
9:01Snark Bait Hosts:But like you said, pretty much everyone was calling this for quite some time. Their engagement party, their massive engagement party that was basically a wedding, was in October of 2025. And then for Halloween, she dressed as a spooky bride with the caption, bury me in my bridal era. Ironic.
9:22Danielle Bernstein:Yeah. Yeah.
9:23Snark Bait Hosts:And then nothing. And this is someone who, if you know her, if you follow her, you know that she would milk the fuck out of bridal era, wedding planning, all of that. And she just went silent for three months. And so people kind of knew, but I was shocked that it was officially announced for some reason. I was like, oh my god, this is real. Like, that's crazy. A lot of the rumors were that their wedding was maybe postponed, but she made it very clear in the statement that they are done.
9:50Danielle Bernstein:Yes. Zilch. Yeah. Yeah. And if you guys are not sure who Danielle Bernstein is, rest assured we do have an episode on what's the snark on Danielle Bernstein. It aired on February 20th, 2025. So if you guys want to head back over there, that will give you the TLDR on who exactly she is, what makes people tick when it comes to her. And I think what we believe over here at Snarkbait Pod, I mean, I don't want to speak for you, but for me, I think she is deeply narcissistic. I actually think she might suffer from histrionic personality disorder, and we'll get into that. But I think for someone who was so hell-bent on making us think that she had the perfect relationship.
10:26Danielle Bernstein:So much so to the fact that she threw what people perceived to be a wedding because of how over the top it was. No, it was an engagement party at the Alder Manor. We poked fun at it on one of the Dark Energy Tuesday episodes. It's like an allegedly haunted estate in New York, but she was so over the top. She had multiple costume changes, multiple looks. It was photographed like it was a wedding. It gives this kind of feeling of the longer the caption, the worse the relationship, the crazier the engagement party the worse the relationship and i think we were kind of proven true it's just ironic just knowing who she is and i think above all else obviously it's sad when these things end but i think the reason why it's so juicy and salacious is because she is who she is and everything about her is so inauthentic and so fake and for the gram and it's kind of almost dare i say satisfying to see people like this not satisfying that sounds really really
11:16Snark Bait Hosts:mean what's the better word i'm looking for it's just like ironic so i feel like some people are probably finding some shot and fraud in this because if you listen to her episode, she's known for plagiarizing small businesses, people of color. She even plagiarized a speech at their engagement party. Yes. I think because this engagement party was so wedding-like, she had multiple looks. She had a videographer. She had getting ready photos. She treated it as a wedding. A lot of people joked, I wonder if she's doing this because she's scared they're not going to make it to the altar. Like she is trying to have this mini wedding because she's not going to have an actual wedding, which ended up being true, whether, you know, that was on purpose at the time.
12:00Snark Bait Hosts:But something about their engagement party videos, she posted obviously so much content. And I remember clocking that he seemed like not into her. Yes. Like he seemed to be like pulling away when she was trying to like kiss him. And he seemed almost like embarrassed. Like it was such a big to do. And it was so over the top. And it ended up getting ripped to shreds on social media, especially the plagiarized speech that she plagiarized word for word. It went super viral on TikTok. That's so embarrassing. Like that definitely could have been the last straw for him. I don't know if it was. Obviously, we don't.
12:39Snark Bait Hosts:We don't really know. There are rumors, you know, rumors abound but no one knows the exact reason obviously or reasons but this is kind of like my theory that i've said for a while now i think that danielle's problem because if you guys recall her ex-boyfriend tony anthony adler she dated for four years right before minicoop they broke up in early 2023, and she debuted Mini Coop late 2023. And both Mini Coop and Tony are like conventionally attractive. They're like good-looking guys, abs, full head of hair. Tony was tall, Mini Coop's not, but like, you know, still conventionally attractive, good-looking guys.
13:30I think her
13:31Snark Bait Hosts:problem is that she's so obsessed with having a picture-perfect, quote-unquote, Instagram-ready guy when she's not really a catch herself. Like, she's obviously beautiful, very also conventionally attractive, successful, rich. But like you said, she seems deeply narcissistic, deeply insecure at the same time, clearly obsessed with social media, lives on social media, is very inauthentic on social media. So she's not like a catch for those reasons, in my opinion. I'm not saying that's what you mean. I'm saying I'm trying to help her, okay? I think she would never let herself settle for a guy who's not picture perfect and hot.
14:17Snark Bait Hosts:You know what I mean? Yeah, absolutely. Because she needs her life and her boyfriend to be so—that's why she Photoshop's the fuck out of her—she needs to be perfect. She needs her boyfriend or husband or whoever it is to be perfect and hot. But in my opinion, she needs to settle with an ugly guy who's obsessed with her. But her ego would never let her. But I think that's her problem is that she keeps trying to date up in a way. Yeah.
14:42Danielle Bernstein:Yeah. And I think that something about her is that the vapidness is so clear that I think we as viewers on Instagram or followers of her or even haters of her, we see right through it. And I think the reason why it's so ironic and so funny is that I don't think she even has the self-awareness to know that what she shills out is so inauthentic. Like, I think in her mind, she genuinely believes that people believe this was the love of her life and this engagement party was so fabulous and that he was having the time of his life. It's like all of us can see the pictures. And I think that when it comes to influencer boyfriends or fiancés, I think of Shannon and Lames, Hallie Kate and her most recent engagement.
15:22the quick thing that people always kind of prey upon is that these guys are kind of doing the
15:29Danielle Bernstein:reverse they're becoming a gold digger for the really wealthy influential hot instagram girl and i think yes all that is is definitely true and i think in minnie coop's case it probably was the reason he even dove into the relationship with danielle as quickly as he did even though she had just uh broken up with tony i feel like when it comes to his perspective he was like i can get in with this influencer. I can get invited to all these crazy events. I can go on these crazy vacations. She lives in this beautiful apartment in New York City. I fucking have a jackpot. But then I feel like it became too much too soon.
16:03Danielle Bernstein:After she got the ring. Yes.
16:05Snark Bait Hosts:I think after they got engaged, maybe the veneer fell. She was like, I got him. I snagged him.
16:10Danielle Bernstein:Yes. And people were even saying that she maybe even bought the ring herself, which I completely believe in.
16:15Snark Bait Hosts:I would not be surprised by that. I think it was Lorraine Schwartz. It's a gorgeous ring. It's a huge pear-shaped diamond, obviously natural, because she would never be caught with lab-grown, obviously. There's nothing wrong with lab-grown, by the way. This is just my impression of Danielle Bernstein and how she would perceive lab-grown. And it has like a hidden halo. It's a really pretty—I think it was—I was thinking about this also. I'm pretty sure that is like her ultimate dream ring. I mean, why would it not be? So it's sad that like when if she gets engaged again, she's going to have to like have like a different ring.
16:56Snark Bait Hosts:She can't have the same one. Like that's like sad. She like tainted her dream ring. Yeah, it's kind of sad. But speaking of Toni, people have speculated that like Mini Coop was just a rebound. And like Toni was the real love of her life because, again, they dated her for four years. She seemed really upset after that breakup and she doesn't seem that upset. I don't know. I did get the vibe that she really loved Mini Coop. So I don't know about that. I think that maybe she was, like, the rainy rooftop proposal, she kept describing it as perfectly imperfect, which I feel like is, like, kind of, like, mean.
17:32Danielle Bernstein:Yeah, what does she mean, perfectly imperfect? What did she mean by that? Perfectly imperfect.
17:36Snark Bait Hosts:Basically saying it was shitty and embarrassing. No, no, I get that. But, like, what about the engagement was imperfect? I forget how. She, like, did a story time about it. Probably copied. And he was wearing, yeah, he was wearing a hoodie. And, like, it was, like, rainy. And, like, why is he wearing a hoodie under a sport coat blazer? So I feel like the fact that she described it as perfectly imperfect, like, maybe she herself felt like she was settling. Yeah. Word on the street also was that his sister and sister-in-law really didn't like her. Again, who knows if this is true. That's just the word on the street.
18:14Snark Bait Hosts:Like, his sister is former something Navy assistant. So Arielle Charnas' former assistant slash employee, Nikki Weissman. And so that's a little, like, full circle influencer moment. But, yeah, that would not surprise me whatsoever. Imagine you're just, like, a normal person with a normal family, and here comes Danielle Bernstein.
Read the full transcript
18:35Danielle Bernstein:I mean, yeah, I can imagine why the sister and sister-in-law would not like her, because everything about her is so disingenuous. from her brands to the clothing that she makes because it's literally copied from Black, Indigenous people of color. Her engagement party speech, like you just mentioned, was fully plagiarized from a TikTok creator. And that's something else that people were bringing up. If your love was, in fact, so pure and so true, why did you need to copy and paste someone else's speech to describe your feelings for your husband, fiance?
19:05Snark Bait Hosts:It was verbatim. Like, it's actually so creepy. If you guys don't know what we're talking about, we definitely posted it on our Instagram. I will re-bubble it back up so you guys can see what we're talking about if you don't remember. But crazy. And it's so true. It's like, if your love was genuine and real, Maddie Pruitt, why would you have to plagiarize a random... And that was also a wedding speech. This was just a fucking engagement party.
19:33Danielle Bernstein:Yeah. And speaking of some of the allegations leading up to the dissolution of this engagement, so people were also saying that Danielle allegedly disallowed his parents from inviting their friends to their wedding. So she was super controlling over the guest list. And part of me is thinking, okay, based on what I've read about Mini Coop, it sounds like he comes from a pretty nice, wealthy suburb of New Jersey. So it probably like his parents come from some wealth, but I can imagine Danielle being so much of a control freak as she is, having and desiring full control over everything wedding related.
20:07Danielle Bernstein:So even if there's one guest that is not DB approved, she would probably ax it. And I'd be willing to guess, too, she would want to fund it herself just so she has that creative control. I have no idea. This is true. This is just my speculation.
20:20Snark Bait Hosts:Well, remember the engagement party invitation with the dress code? Oh, my God. And the affiliate links. Yeah, yeah. So I think that she was so obsessed with everyone matching the aesthetic. She said, I want you guys to dress old money. So for men, that means black jeans, maybe? Yeah, she said black jeans, yes. because black jeans just the definition of old money.
20:43Danielle Bernstein:I mean, she would know. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, agreed. She needed full creative control to the point that she not only wanted her guests to dress up in black tie, but she wanted you to shop her affiliate link so she could receive affiliate commission off of her engagement party. She, I guess, continued to call the apartment that she shared with Mini Coop her apartment. She never referred to the apartment as their apartment, which to some extent I do understand And if it is her apartment, then it is her apartment. Like she bought it. Yes. There were some allegations that allegedly the straw that broke the camel's back was a bit of a Karamo and his mom in the hot mic moment where Karamo's mother heard the queer-eyed guys talking shit about her son.
21:23Danielle Bernstein:Something similar, I guess, happened at the engagement party whereby they were looking at B-roll footage of the engagement party. And Mini Coop was caught on hot mic talking about how fake Danielle Bernstein was. And she caught wind of that post-party.
21:38Snark Bait Hosts:That is so crazy. Okay, so I saw this too. And again, who knows the veracity of this? These were like multiple different people on Reddit who claim to be inside sources, but obviously take it with a grain of salt. But like, it sounded real. Like, imagine you are like editing videos from your engagement party. Obviously, you know, the bride and the groom are mic'd up because they gave speeches or whatever it is. And to hear your fiance talking shit about you, it's got to sting. Yeah. It's got to sting. Also, like, I don't know. It's sad. Like, I know that we shouldn't feel bad for her. I'm an empath.
22:22But like, I hate when people say that,
22:25Snark Bait Hosts:by the way. I'm kidding. But like, I do feel a little bit bad for her because it's like your own fiancé is talking shit about you at your engagement party.
22:35Danielle Bernstein:Not only do you have to hear it from the entire internet and Reddit pages, but now your own fiancé is saying this shit.
22:40Snark Bait Hosts:Exactly. It's like everyone on the internet talks shit about you all the time for various reasons, whether it's deserved or undeserved. Obviously, she deserves a lot of flack she gets. I think, you know, people are extra vicious when it comes to her. Not that I—am I being too nice? No, no, no.
22:58Danielle Bernstein:I mean, I do think people are specifically very intense when it comes to Danielle Bernstein. She has a cult hate following. I think that most influencers do not. But I think it's deservedly so is not the right word. But you understand why there is so much vitriolic hate towards her because of the way that she is. You can't help but look away because it's such a train wreck. But she is so blissfully almost unaware because she is so narcissistic that she can't see past her own bullshit. Right, right. Perfect way to put it.
23:31Snark Bait Hosts:So the other straw, potential straw that broke the camel's back was the prenup, allegedly. A lot of whispers that they could not agree to terms on a prenup. And apparently he may have wanted like a cut of her social media money if he was going to be featured because obviously, you know, a wedding is going to get a lot of engagement. It's going to bring in a lot of money for her. He should get a cut. I don't know the actual terms or if that actually was the aspect of the prenup that was not agreed on. What I think is interesting is that people can't decide if Mini Coop is a fame whore clout chaser wannabe sugar baby that was using her for money or he's the victim in all of this.
24:17Snark Bait Hosts:I think it's I don't get the vibe that he cares about being famous that much because his Instagram was private and he clearly didn't like being in her content that much. I don't know if you saw her most recent story that he was featured in. I can't remember him being featured after this happened. It was a couple of weeks ago. She posted an Instagram story where she was talking to the camera from their temporary apartment because of the renovations happening at their quote unquote forever home. Or her home. Yeah. Her home. But there was a point when she was saying our place. There was. I swear to God.
24:54It was just, I think, in more recent months, she obviously
24:59Snark Bait Hosts:is calling it hers because they're broken up. But I don't know. I really recall her acting like this was their forever home. 31:09Snark Bait Hosts:Anyway, she posted an Instagram story from their temporary apartment explaining, you know, guys, we're in our temporary apartment. and blah, blah, blah. And he goes, who are you talking to? And she goes, the internet, honey. And then he goes, did you just... And he goes, did you just film me? Oh! And it was like so mean. It was crazy that she even posted it, but it like made me feel bad for her that he was talking to her like that. He clearly, moral of the story, did not seem that interested in being on her social media. so I don't know how true it is that he was like using her for fame or for clout or for money
31:50Danielle Bernstein:I I don't know it's hard to back those rumors up when you see how he was on social is what you're saying I I don't know her content well enough to be honest I don't I don't follow her I just see what I see on the reddit snark pages but I do want to double click into the prenup issues because there were allegations that he potentially wanted to split some of the earnings that she would receive from the wedding content the engagement party the wedding all the photos he's like listen you're getting paid by these from these brand deals give me a cut and i actually low-key do understand this from his perspective without minicute there would be no content for her to monetize to begin with now does it mean that they should split it 50 50 probably not to me but i do think that this is a partnership this is a marriage what's mine is yours depending on which state you're in.
32:37Danielle Bernstein:But I do think that it is fair for her to portion some of the funds that she earns to him. How much is appropriate, that is up to them. But if she were to tell him, sorry, like, I'm the one who's editing these videos. I'm the one that's curating these photographers and videographers. I'm helping edit. You don't get a cut. I do think that's a little unfair, but I don't think he's deserving of 50-50 if that's what he was asking for. What are your thoughts on him desiring to potentially split the commissions?
33:03Snark Bait Hosts:I don't think it's totally unfair. And again, like this is purely speculative. We don't know if this is actually what they were arguing about. If he was trying to get 50-50 of her social media money, I don't think that's a fair amount. But for him to ask for a cut of, you know, their wedding earnings because she's going to earn a lot of money from the engagement and all of the money from the wedding content. Yeah, because there would be none of that without him. Maybe he felt like he was just being plugged in, like it could have been any guy. And he was like, this is just, you know, for content.
33:44Danielle Bernstein:Yes. He probably at some point, because I could imagine anyone who is a part of her content, does almost feel like a propter. Trust me, there are people that I know that are like this, that will do anything or purchase anything or go on a trip literally exclusively for the social media. I think it's not even unfair for people to take these types. I mean, that's work at the end of the day. But I think for her, it's particularly intense. Yeah. She will do anything for whatever she posts on her Instagram and you lose touch with what the difference is between reality versus social.
34:16Snark Bait Hosts:There's also a world where like maybe part of the prenup was you can never post our kids on social media. And she didn't want to agree to that. It's like we don't know exactly what it was in the prenup that they couldn't agree on. Yeah. It does sound like the prenup was an issue. It's just the specifics of that. I don't know. I think there's a world where like, maybe they both suck. Like, I don't think he's the victim. I don't think he's like a gold digger either. I think they just, they both were just not right for each other. And it's good they realized that before the wedding. I think if Danielle was the one to end it, I personally don't think she was.
34:55Snark Bait Hosts:I think she would have gone forth with the wedding no matter what. In my opinion, I think that her calling off the wedding after this massive engagement party is really embarrassing. Yes. If she was the person to call it off, I have so much respect for her because I know how hard of a decision that must have been. I just, I can't even imagine. I personally, if I had to guess, I would think that he walked away. But, you know, obviously her statement, And she was like, it was mutual. It's love intersect. But that's what they're always going to say, you know. What do you think?
35:26Danielle Bernstein:And every publication is saying Danielle Bernstein called off the engagement, not Danielle Bernstein's engagement is called off.
35:32Snark Bait Hosts:Also asking for privacy, but then like immediately calling Page Six and like People Magazine and Us Weekly.
35:38Danielle Bernstein:Yeah. No, I mean, that's just her whole brand. It surprises me. Not one iota. But I don't know. I do think that for her, and I think honestly, I'm not even trying to shame her at all. There are a lot of people that will go through it with marriages knowing full damn well it is not the right decision, but just to go through the motions of taking that next step. And for her, not only is she so consumed by what people think and that she has this perfect life and this perfect house and this perfect husband and this perfect marriage and this perfect wedding, perfect engagement party, she wouldn't have given that up, I don't think, if it weren't up to her to have made that.
36:13Danielle Bernstein:Like, I don't think she made that decision. Like, genuinely. And I think ultimately we'll never know. people have said something similar about, although I think this is less stakes, Kristen Cavallari and Mark Estes. Kristen Cavallari made it seem like she was the one who decided to call off the relationship. And I remember watching a podcast episode that she had done with him weeks before they had publicly broken up. And she was begging him to have babies and marriage. And you could tell he was really uncomfortable. And then I found it interesting that a couple weeks after the fact, Kristen was like, you know, me and Mark, we've decided to end the relationship.
36:46Danielle Bernstein:And I think he's a great guy. He's such a great guy. But, like, genuinely, we are not for each other. We're at different points in our lives. And isn't this so funny?
36:56Snark Bait Hosts:Christy, your Kristen Cavallari impression is so underrated.
37:00Danielle Bernstein:No, and, like, the thing is, the way I do Kristen Cavallari is how I do you two. Like, I have the Sophie man voice. No, no, but Kristen sounds like her. That's the difference. You know what's crazy is I think I do Dorit pretty good, too. I've been doing Dorit lately of me and PK. when we go to Florida,
37:18Snark Bait Hosts:the kids want to see my grandparents. That's a really good job, too. I'm very impressed. But PK, he just shows up when he wants to.
37:26Danielle Bernstein:He goes to London, to LA. No, it's pretty good, huh?
37:30Snark Bait Hosts:Wait, I love how you're like, I've been doing Dorit a lot. In what context? Because it's not like you're doing it on the podcast. Where are you doing this? Just in your everyday life with your coworkers?
37:42Danielle Bernstein:In my everyday life. Lucy, you ready for that minute? I'll be there in a second. TK. TK. I like, Beverly Hills is so fucking horrible this season, guys. But I can't help it. I love Beverly Hills so much. Because she's so blissfully unaware and kind of dumb. It's so interesting to watch. But okay, sorry. Getting us a little off track. But Kristen Cavallari. Mark Astis. Okay, I don't even know where we were. She's a liar.
38:13Snark Bait Hosts:Kristen implied that she was the one who broke it off. Or outright said she was the one that broke it off. Yeah, she did. And reality is that she wouldn't walk away from that relationship. Kind of similarly to how we feel probably about Danielle and Mini Coop. Even though, you know, if she was the one to pull the plug herself, amazing. And by the way, all of these articles, there's no real, like, reason given. The prenup is mentioned, but there's no like tea really in these articles. So it's all on read. Yeah.
38:47Danielle Bernstein:Just, you know, all. Yeah, exactly. But I don't know.
38:53Snark Bait Hosts:I just I really think you'd have to pry her bridal area out of her cold, dead hands. Yes. A hundred percent.
39:01Danielle Bernstein:I have no doubt that he ended it because of that exact reason. She is far too narcissistic and cognizant of what the public thinks about her. She would never do this on her own volition. I heard some tea on Reddit from user east-friendship-5886. Just looked up Coop's apartment that he was renting before moving in with DB. It has not been relisted since he signed the lease in 2019. I'm assuming he kept his place this whole time. And someone goes, how do you know where he lives? This group never ceases to shock me. And someone goes, because I used to see him. So people were saying, I've read also theories that he's been living in hotels, why they've been taking time apart, but maybe he's never not had his apartment to begin with.
39:42Danielle Bernstein:Who's to say? I mean, just some random tea. Who's to say? This is all Reddit speculation.
39:47Snark Bait Hosts:Because she made it very clear that he moved in with her. Oh, did she? Okay. Yeah, she made it very clear that they were living together. She did like one of those things. It's like, yeah, he-he, we've been living. She did like a Q &A and someone was like, are you and your boyfriend living together? And she goes, he-he, yeah, I just didn't announce it. But yeah, he has been for a while. Like, they moved in together after less than a year. By the way, they got engaged after less than two years together. Depending on who you ask, you could say that is quick. I mean, completely depends who you ask.
40:16Snark Bait Hosts:She is a woman in her 30s. He's younger than her, too.
40:20Danielle Bernstein:I think he's 31. He's younger.
40:21Snark Bait Hosts:He is three years younger. I believe their age difference. I think she's 33 and he is 30, I think. Yeah, I read 30 and 31. Regardless. Same shit. Regardless. But so who knows what if he kept his apartment the whole time? I'd be surprised by that because he would have to be paying two rents. But it seems like he comes from some money. Maybe. If I had to guess, he was probably living with some roommates and they gave his room to another person. So they didn't relist it. Like a sublease situation. Yeah. Like who freaking knows? But she definitely made it clear they were living together. And then with this temporary apartment thing, because their forever home was getting renovated, that video that I referenced where he was mean to her in the background about filming him, they seem to have moved into that temporary apartment together.
41:21Snark Bait Hosts:But apparently, yeah, he's been living in hotels and wasn't living there for very long with her.
41:26Danielle Bernstein:yeah i am so curious what was the like breaking point because there were no thanksgiving posts of them together no hanukkah posts no new year's eve mention of him like he was not with her during these huge events so like we always say about celebrity breakups too whenever you hear that a couple has broken up more likely than not they've been separated or divorced for at least like eight weeks at this point like minimum so who's to say this could be old news but she's just releasing this now. I have no idea.
41:57Snark Bait Hosts:Yeah. And I mean, the fact that that was a huge red flag for me on New Year's, by the way. And I think I may have mentioned this on the podcast. Yeah. I was like the fact that she didn't post a making out video and then also say 2026 best year yet. He he with like a ring emoji. Oh, she said that.
42:14Danielle Bernstein:She's so disingenuous, dude.
42:16Snark Bait Hosts:No, no, no, no. She didn't. She didn't say that. That's what I'm saying. The fact that she didn't say that was a red flag because any other year she would post a making out video with her boyfriend and especially getting married, she'd say, best year yet. He he.
42:32Danielle Bernstein:She's like so triggering to me because I can see right through her. I genuinely think she suffers from histrionic personality disorder. And if you guys aren't familiar with what this is, it's a mental health condition marked by excessive emotionality and attention seeking where individuals constantly need to be the center of attention, use dramatic and seductive behaviors, have rapidly shifting emotions, and often perceive relationships as more intimate than they are. They said that there's a lot of you're uncomfortable when you're not the center of attention. You act dramatically or provocatively to secure focus from people.
43:04Danielle Bernstein:You're rapidly shifting. You're shallow, exaggerated emotions, believing relationships are more intimate than they are, using physical appearance to draw attention to oneself, easily influenced by others or circumstances, impulsive, dramatic speech that lacks detail. She's so dramatic and theatrical, and she's so concerned between of what people think. It's like, again, the lines are blurred between reality and fantasy.
43:28Snark Bait Hosts:And that's, and not to like diagnose her. This is just behavior that's been observed from her, what feels like, honestly, like 15 years on the internet. 15 years as a public figure on the internet. But yeah, I think that, you know, the, if I had to guess what pushed Tony, her ex-boyfriend away, was this obsession with presenting herself a certain way on social media when she's not that way in real life. Everything is a facade with her. And it goes beyond just the photoshopping, I think. The photoshopping is just scratching the surface, you know?
44:05Danielle Bernstein:We're just getting started when we talk about that. I mean, that speaks to a large, and large. Something wrong.
44:10Snark Bait Hosts:And everything is like performative. And I think this probably goes, you have to be the right kind of person to sign up for a life with any Instagram or TikTok influencer. Like always having the phone out, not really living in the moment. But like that, some people are okay with that lifestyle. Some people know what they're signing up for. They understand it. They like it. They enjoy it. But it takes, I think, a very specific person. It's not just Danielle, it's all of these influencers. It's like it's so hard to live in the moment when, you know, everything has to be content for your job. It's like, yeah, does being an influencer sound amazing sometimes because you can just post on social media and make millions of dollars a year?
44:50Snark Bait Hosts:Of course. At the same time, you never get to really turn it off. You always have to be on. Yeah.
44:57Danielle Bernstein:Yeah. No, I agree. I don't envy. It's really hard to be an influencer. And I think that in Minnie Coop's case, it's all glitz and it's all glam until you realize like what your day-to-day will actually look like. And just from how she presents herself online, I can't imagine being around that day in and day out. It's just exhausting because like not only is your significant other super veneered and glossy and perceiving something that's not true, it's like you almost have to live that life too. And it just seems very, very disingenuous and sad.
45:29Snark Bait Hosts:yeah and that's why i think maybe like after they got engaged the veneer you know fell apart also the engagement party like maybe he was like yeah this is all fun and games until he saw what this would actually entail and the engagement party was so over the top the amount of content like i said an outfit change getting ready photos videographer like content creator plus photographer like there was just so much it was literally a wedding and this was just the engagement party yeah right like he probably he probably did have if i had to guess a moment where he looked around and he was like i cannot believe this is going to be my life like also it's just so much and i'm
46:10Danielle Bernstein:curious how far along they were into wedding planning as well because were their vendors
46:16Snark Bait Hosts:secure were their locations secure again i don't follow oh apparently apparently uh they did have a venue for next summer. The venue, or in June, I believe. And it was, what's it called? Cedar Woods Estate. Okay. Which actually surprised me because it's kind of like woodsy. It's like, I just didn't picture that for her. But, or Cedar Lakes.
46:40Danielle Bernstein:I think it's Cedar Lakes Estate. I think that's what it's called. I'm thinking of like Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney when you say woodsy.
46:45Snark Bait Hosts:Yeah. Yeah. It literally was, it gives like Schwartz and Katie, honestly, it's outdoorsy, woodsy kind of like camp, summer camp vibes. Cedar Lakes Estate, I think that's what it's called. And they apparently posted, guys, this never happens. We have a June date open suddenly. And people put two and two together that that was her venue. And someone else posted on Reddit that they shared a wedding vendor and the vendor said that their wedding was delayed. For so long, people were like, the wedding is just delayed. And I'm like, well, if the wedding is delayed, it might as well be called off. Because what do you mean the wedding?
47:18Snark Bait Hosts:What do you mean? What do you mean? What do you mean he wasn't a makeup artist? What do you mean? What do you mean? What do you mean the wedding is delayed? Obviously, it's not. Like I said, she made it very clear in her statement that it's not delayed. It's over. The fact that she said it's simply not the right forever. Like that actually made me really sad. And I know we shouldn't feel bad for her for a lot of reasons. But I don't feel sad. I think it's human to feel bad for because this is like such a, you know, that's such a big life thing. thing to call off an engagement and like to think it was her forever and you know to be engaged and to start planning your life together and then it's just like you realize it's not your right forever whatever the reason is that they broke up it's it's sad that sounded so mean it's not that i
48:06Danielle Bernstein:don't feel badly for her it's just that show us some realness and maybe i'll make you oh i'll see you as like a human she just is so veneered it feels almost fake like she's ai generated it's like, oh, my God.
48:17Snark Bait Hosts:I was just going to say, sorry, sorry, sorry. I just thought of one thing that I needed to mention before I forget the fact that she got her eye surgery. Oh, she got an upper bluff. She got a lower bluff for her under eye bags. And she called like she called it a skin pinch, a skin pinch and like a lower bluff. And I was like, there's no way this was early January. I think it was in January. There's no way anyone would get plastic surgery on their face, like, even six months out from their wedding, I feel like,
48:50Danielle Bernstein:it's very risky. It's so risky. Yeah, that's a good point. So, like, maybe even at that point during the surgery, she knew already that it was going to be called off. Yeah. A hundred percent. When she was getting the surgery, I was like, there's no way they're still getting married. Yeah. Good point. Anything else on here? I feel like we covered the biggest parts. Yeah. The story is developing. Hopefully, maybe we'll learn more. So, So perhaps by next week's DET, we'll have more. But again, tomorrow's episode. Yes. Or excuse me, Tuesday's episode, depending on when you're listening, will not include this because we had recorded it before.
49:24Danielle Bernstein:But obviously, Sophie and I had to jump on the mic because I don't think, Sophie, we've ever received so many DMs on Instagram. No. Genuinely.
49:29Snark Bait Hosts:No, never.
49:30Danielle Bernstein:At snarkbaitpod, which also, by the way, a shout out to a baby snark who found me on TikTok. She found my Colton Underwood, Michael Rappaport TikTok, and she's like, oh my God, Christy from Snarkbait. I had no idea what you looked like until then. how are people out here following our podcast and not knowing what we look like? Isn't that crazy to you? I mean, like, there are plenty of podcasts where, like, yes, I do. I've seen those comments.
49:50Snark Bait Hosts:I've seen those comments before where it's like, oh, my God, I had no idea what you looked like. People thought I was blonde.
49:55Danielle Bernstein:Yeah, I think people just have this perception of, like, what we look like. Head on over to Snarkbait Pod on Instagram and you guys can see all of our videos. Our social manager, Rachel, does a really fabulous job and our video editor, Karthik, do a really good job. 52:32Snark Bait Hosts:After years of really not caring about my health as much as I should, one of my goals this year is to finally change that. Part of that is getting older. I won't say exactly how old I am, but let's just say I'm at the age where it's really starting to matter how I treat my body and my brain health. And I know plenty of you millennial baby snarks are probably having similar aha moments. That's why I'm so excited that I've discovered Function. It's the only health platform that gives you access to over 160 biomarkers, covering everything from hormones and metabolism to heart health, inflammation, stress markers, and toxins.
53:03Snark Bait Hosts:You can even add MRI and chest CT imaging, and it's all tracked in one secure place. It's the kind of comprehensive view of your health that most people never get access to. There's a reason Function is backed by top U.S. doctors like neuroscientist Dr. Andrew Huberman and cardiovascular surgeon, Dr. Jeremy London. I definitely feel like my memory and my neurons aren't as sharp as they used to be. And function of health has taught me what's happening in your brain reflects what's happening across your entire body. Things like inflammation, blood sugar regulation, nutrient levels, sleep quality, vascular health, all influence how your brain performs today and over time.
53:35Snark Bait Hosts:So if you're not measuring those systems, you're guessing. So stop guessing what's going on with your body and mind and start actually measuring. Start by understanding what's happening beneath the surface, Own your health for$365 a year. That's a dollar a day. Learn more and join Function using our link. Visit www.functionhealth.com slash snarkbait or use gift code snarkbait25 for a$25 credit toward your membership.
