1:59Huda Mustafa:CRM was supposed to improve customer relationships. Instead, it's shorthand for can't resolve much. Which means you may have sunk a fortune into software that just bounces customer issues around but never actually solves them. On the ServiceNow AI platform, CRM stands for something better. With AI built into one platform,
2:20Taylor Frankie Paul:customers aren't mired in endless loops of automated indifference. They get what they need when they need it. Bad CRM was then. This is ServiceNow. Hey, everybody. Welcome to an emergency press conference of Snarkbait Pod. I'm Christy.
2:35Huda Mustafa:I'm Sophie. And I'm sorry if you hear Baxter freaking out in the background right now. We had to hop on the mic at a time when we're usually done recording because we have an update. We actually recorded this episode this morning on Thursday, March 19th, before Taylor Franke Paul's season of The Bachelorette had been canceled. So we just want to quickly give an update. We were actually going to drop this episode tomorrow, assuming that nothing new would happen. I don't know why we assumed that. I think it's still a good episode to listen to for all of the background and all of the other updates.
3:13But the latest update is that her season of The Bachelorette is canceled.
3:18Huda Mustafa:ABC released a statement that said, In light of the newly released video just surfaced today, we have made the decision to not move forward with the new season of The Bachelorette at this time, and our focus is on supporting the family. And that video in question is the one that was released from the 2023 DV incident. Um, we actually describe the video on this recording from the police report, but seeing it is something else. Christy, what were your thoughts on the video? It's obviously very disturbing.
3:50Taylor Frankie Paul:Yeah. If you guys haven't seen it and you are sensitive to domestic violence, I mean, or children crying. Yeah. It's a very triggering video. And I think even the people that I know that are very strong, who have a very strong stomach, I heard them like gasp. It is incredibly disturbing. I think it's one thing to read words on a page when you hear about domestic violence. It's a whole other thing to hear and see with your own eyes a woman throwing, hurling chairs, bar stools at her significant other in the direction of her young daughter who's just laying on the couch right next to Dakota. It was jarring.
4:25Taylor Frankie Paul:And yeah, we had recorded an episode like about an hour long early this morning and not thinking there were going to be any developments. And then literally just like three hours after we ended the recording, Sophie texted our group chat and was like, Bachelorette season has been canceled. They're canning the entire thing. Taylor Franke pulls out. And obviously we're like, okay, well, now this episode has a totally different tone and update. And the TMZ video, I forget, was it released the morning that we recorded? I'm like losing track to say.
4:54Huda Mustafa:Yeah, yeah, yeah. We recorded and then the TMZ video was released. and um which is why when we recorded I was like I don't think they're gonna pull the season they're still promoting it they're still you know touting her out there and then the video released and then I was like yeah it's over it's I knew as soon as I saw the video it's so disturbing uh she hurls metal stools at Dakota like like the police report says in a way that could have killed him yes and her daughter is hit her daughter is crying her daughter is screaming for mommy she does not check on her daughter she is just seeing red at dakota dakota actually checks on her daughter before she does um the cops are called by the neighbors and if you watch the full video the one on social media going around is only 45 seconds the full one is like three and a half minutes and the cops come and she's clearly wasted and slurring her words and then she says that dakota was the one abusing her um so and I've seen a lot of people especially Bravo accounts and I I'm actually very upset to see this the amount of Bravo accounts that are saying well fuck Dakota for doing this just to ruin her bachelorette season I don't know why the timing of the video was right now I don't know I don't think it matters the fact is that this happened and she did this and I know a lot of people also are like well Dakota's also probably abusive and Dakota also probably did this to make her react that way that to me is irrelevant right now like what we saw in that video is so disgusting and disturbing and truly just heart-wrenching seeing a child cry a child get hit by a metal chair and her mom didn't even care like I I'm sorry and even like Dakota can be a fucking piece of shit obviously but no one deserves to be physically abused even Dakota um so he has actually filed a restraining order as of today and is demanding full custody of their son ever and I guess it's also his birthday he turns two today he was actually seen at the courthouse today alongside her ex-husband Tate who also is apparently filing a restraining order against her and also probably I imagine demanding full custody of their kids I am kind of unclear like earlier when we recorded I was under the understanding that they shared custody and they do share custody but I think he has majority and now Tate her ex-husband now I believe he is going to demand full custody I imagine if he hasn't already seen that video I would be obviously irate if that were my child um but yeah I mean ABC is in a PR crisis uh they made the right decision in my opinion to cancel this season it's estimated that they're losing like i don't know how accurate this is this is just what i've been seeing online on like twitter and shit estimated to lose like 25 30 million dollars and that tracks not only like the production of it is a waste but the lost ad revenue ad revenue yes um but they definitely made the right decision in my opinion uh what were your thoughts christy no i completely co-signed
8:08Taylor Frankie Paul:everything you just said just the absolute disgust of watching that video like I just said it's a different experience seeing what we saw like I like my someone on our team was like I genuinely can't even finish it like it's hard to stomach it's that disturbing and I think to your point we just have to go based on what the facts tell us as far as I know has Dakota ever gotten like arrested for domestic violence because it was Taylor Taylor Frankie Paul in 2023 that was arrested for domestic violence. I don't believe - He was the aggressor.
8:39Huda Mustafa:They determined that she was the aggressor and he had not done anything.
8:43Taylor Frankie Paul:Right. So I'm just going off of police reports in the video that we saw. I've heard rumors that Dakota is an abuser. We've heard things of, he's a clout chaser. He's always been like abusive towards women. Like I'm just going off of pure substantiated facts. Taylor does not deserve to have her children around. She is a liability. She is a danger to both herself and to him. And frankly, I am genuinely concerned about her own well-being because she's clearly not in this psychological state of mind to be by herself right now.
9:12Huda Mustafa:She needs to be like an inpatient immediately. Yeah. And ABC, obviously, like I don't feel bad for them. They should have never cast her to begin with. This police report, which we discuss later in this episode, has always been available. It's just the video that was not publicly available. This was something that the police had and that Dakota had. and is just now released for whatever reason, but it doesn't matter what the reason is, you know? And her team, I was going to say, Taylor Frankie Paul released a statement, but you know that she did not write this. Her team released a statement, obviously taking zero accountability, and this is the statement.
9:49Huda Mustafa:Taylor is very grateful for ABC's support as she prioritizes her family's safety and security. After years of silently suffering extensive mental and physical abuse, as well as threats of retaliation, And Taylor is finally gaining the strength to face her accuser and taking steps to ensure that she and her children are protected from any further harm. There are too many women who are suffering in silence as they survive aggressive, jealous ex-partners who refuse to let them move on with their lives. Taylor has remained silent out of fear of further abuse, retaliation, and public shaming. She is currently exploring all of her options, seeking support, and preparing to own and share her story.
10:24Huda Mustafa:so her statement is turning it around on dakota right which is an interesting choice and i think that you could make the argument that it is dakota that makes her act this way that's still not an excuse in my world in my opinion that's not an excuse um but she made the conscious decision we watched on season four of secret lives and warren wives go back to him over and over again.
10:52Taylor Frankie Paul:Yeah. And to double click on what you just said, no one can make you do anything. We have full autonomy as adults. And I'm talking about you're like an able-bodied, fully coherent. We have free will. Yes. No one can make you do anything. No one can make you hurl chairs at another human being, causing them irreparable damage. She could have killed him. She could have caused severe brain damage. She is not a sound person. And also the fact that ABC even made the decision in as recently as they did to cast her as the lead of the bachelorette knowing that that police report has existed for three years now yet they still made the decision the conscious decision to say she has domestic violence um assault charges against her let's put her up as a lead just because you didn't see the video abc doesn't mean that you're any less liable like you kind of should take responsibility and i was seeing fucking dumal was like taylor frankie paul is going to be sued by abc because of this and i'm like to me there's no claim like ABC knew very willingly what they were doing.
11:52Huda Mustafa:I don't think that ABC has like, I've been seeing that also. And I don't think they have like a leg to stand on in terms of suing her. Like I'm not a lawyer. I'm not a legal expert, but like they knew who she was.
12:04Taylor Frankie Paul:The only difference that has changed in the last from when they casted her to today is the video. Yeah. But like the police report existed and they could absolutely have done some investigation to obtain those records before they hired her. Yeah.
12:15Huda Mustafa:I will say that like seeing the video is so different from reading the report. Agreed. But we still would not have chosen her to be our bachelorette, you know? Like, I feel like just because, I don't know, I'm dealing with my own culpability in terms of me enjoying Secret Lives of Mormon Lives. It's like, well, why did I enjoy the show knowing that she did this? Like, I feel culpable in a way as someone who watches the show. Like, I'm part of the problem, exactly. I feel like it's like a wake-up call for everyone. Like, we let this person, like, we literally enabled this person. And ABC, obviously, is the most culpable because they knew this happened.
13:00Huda Mustafa:And they have cast these two people as the leads of their most popular show on Hulu. These two people, Dakota and Taylor Frankie Paul, who clearly, whether it's both of them that are abusive, just Taylor Frankie Paul, either way. um I don't know I feel like so just so shocked by all of this again like I just watched season four of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives and again like I just I feel so icky about it like it's all so gross and I don't know I imagine that they're gonna completely cut ties with her I think that Secret Lives of Mormon Wives personally I think they can the show will go on without her
13:40Taylor Frankie Paul:yeah I haven't watched it um in the last two seasons to know but um I will be I spoke about this when we talked about Huda Mustafa Huda Mustafa in Love Island where as viewers as lovers and connoisseurs of reality tv both you and I yeah it's kind of become our job to watch these shows and it does feel like you'll hear me say it in the subsequent like after we wrap this part up it's like a train wreck you literally cannot stop and watch but at the same time like when does it become too far? And I think that's kind of the line that we're at. And with Love Island specifically, there have been multiple, I'm not just saying like one, one suicide is enough.
14:18Taylor Frankie Paul:There have been multiple suicides by the former Love Island UK host that has - Airline plaque. Yep. Died by suicide, multiple contestants that have died by suicide that have suffered severe, severe mental anguish. And I think for us as viewers, like, do we have a responsibility to no longer support these networks for putting people's mental health and wellbeing at risk? here. Like it does become something that I feel like we're going to be talking about in like decades from now, looking back at the moral efficacy or ethicalness of reality television.
14:50Huda Mustafa:Totally. Not efficacy.
14:52Taylor Frankie Paul:Sorry.
14:52Huda Mustafa:I do like how that word sounds, even though it's not like grammatically correct. It sounds like it should be. Yeah, I completely agree. It's like, how, how are we, and this is a conversation that I feel like we have had before. It's like with like Jax Taylor you know but at some point it it goes too far and it's like at the point where we all should be tapping out as soon as you know the most recent accusations came out I was like I'm not gonna watch the season of The Bachelorette before it got canceled so I think you know some things are bigger than reality tv where it's like a child like children are being traumatized here like I feel like it's time to tap out that's where I feel like the line was like I
15:32Taylor Frankie Paul:I feel like the child being there changes the entire story. Yes. It's still horrible if it were just Dakota and Taylor. Yeah.
15:40Huda Mustafa:I 100 % agree. I think that was the breaking point. I think that like they could have rationalized keeping the season on air. And I know that sounds fucked up, but like it's The Bachelor. Like the bar is in hell. The bar is literally in hell. I think they could have rationalized it if it was just her beating Dakota. Yes. But the fact that a child was there and crying and got hurt, it's like no. absolutely not like this is not okay it's time to tap out and I'm glad they did and um yeah I think they definitely made the right decision but again I am questioning my life choices uh and yeah it's
16:17Taylor Frankie Paul:just it's really fucked up obviously and I was talking to a baby snark Colleen who is a friend of mine now and she was texting me about it and she's like let's just play out the scenario if taylor frankie paul were a black woman oh never would have been cast like let's just think about that for a second secret lives of mormon wives wouldn't even have gone past season one they would just halt filming immediately well first of all i don't think there will be such a show to showcase like so many black women on on hulu to be very fucking honest this isn't bravo not that bravo is really any better but you know what i mean uh if this were a black woman not only would the secret life of Mormon wives seeks to exist, but there is no fucking way that this, a black, a theoretical black woman would have had the platform to even get, uh, her place as a lead on the bachelorette.
17:04Huda Mustafa:Oh, with domestic violence on her rap sheet with, uh, multiple children for multiple men would not even be a conversation. It's the fact that she is a white privilege, conventionally attractive, thin woman. She got this chance. and look what happened.
17:25Taylor Frankie Paul:Yeah. And I think, like, I need everyone to, like, just sit with that for just a second and realize,
17:31Huda Mustafa:like. I'm so glad you brought that up. Yeah. Because I feel like we talked about, we were talking about it, you know, when we recorded earlier, which you guys will hear, about how if this were a man, this would never fly. But I think that that's the more important. You failed to bring this up. Yeah. That's the more important distinction. If this were a black woman, this would never, ever have made it this far.
17:50Taylor Frankie Paul:No. we would have stopped like remember when episodes season one episode one they played the body cam footage and we are on filming season five with taylor frankie paul having millions of viewers probably having the most money out of the entire cast yep make it make fucking sense make it make sense like we never really i don't know i feel like we never talk like this a lot on the podcast about like racial i mean we do a bit we touch it but like this to me is very egregious and like it It needs to be said.
18:19Huda Mustafa:Absolutely. And I'm so glad you brought it up. And yeah, I mean, just in general, I feel like this conversation, like you can tell that we are both like very shaken up from that video. Like it is so disturbing. Again, heavy trigger warning if you have not watched it. It's just I just feel so shaken up from all of this and not to make it about me, but like again, like I just it's just all of this is so disturbing and crazy. And yeah, I know that, like we said, we recorded the main chunk of this episode earlier and we talked about both Taylor Frankie Paul and Huda Mustafa from Love Island and some recent legal drama that she is in as well.
19:01Huda Mustafa:and um so we talk more about the backstory and the general cases for both but uh i just think it's such a lesson in making sure that you are mentally sound before you go on reality tv because if you are not any issues that you are going through will be put under a microscope and and will be just totally compounded by the spotlight that you are in. If you are not 100 % good with yourself, like it's just going to make things worse to go on reality TV. It should go without saying, but I feel like it needs to be said. Yeah.
19:39Taylor Frankie Paul:And I hope the best for her daughter, Indy, I think her name is. Yes. The fact that she was there and present and old enough to have traumatic memories from the specific incident and then perhaps having to relive it as she grows up and having to see this video or having kids at school come up to her and like tease her for this video. I mean, God forbid. I hope kids aren't that mean these days anymore. But she has to live with this too. So this is like a scar on her that will live with her forever, quite honestly. This is a very impressionable age for a very, very young girl to have to witness with her own eyes and then also be hit in the head.
20:15I heard that there was a goose egg on her head from this.
20:18Taylor Frankie Paul:Because when you get hit on your head, it's like the injury always appears like really, really severe because your head swells up very easily.
20:24Huda Mustafa:It wouldn't surprise me. Yeah. Those were like heavy metal chairs. So I actually was curious how old Indy was because I know that she's eight now, but in that video, she was five. Yeah. So either five or six, depending on what month it happened in 2023, but either five or six, old enough to fully be aware of what's going on and fully remember this incident. Not that, you know, if she were younger, it would be better. It's still horrible either way. But yeah, it's just completely unacceptable and just disturbing. Yeah. Oh, God. Yeah, well, hopefully you guys continue to listen to the – I don't want to say enjoy the episode.

21:13Taylor Frankie Paul:Yeah.
21:14Huda Mustafa:It's all very disturbing. but listen to the episode where we go more into detail about all of this and um also talk about how to mustafa and uh yeah anything else no i just have to shout out sophie like we've been
21:29Taylor Frankie Paul:on the phone no joke like all day and sophie like was having computer issues and she was like so flustered when we got on just now for like the third time because the recording was not working And she goes, it's all Taylor Frankie Paul's fault.
21:43Huda Mustafa:Like she was just like, you were just so overstimulated. I was like, fucking Taylor Frankie Paul. It's all her fault. Like, why is this going wrong? It's all her fault. Like, I just, I can't with Taylor Frankie Paul. I hate her. We spent hours recording this morning and then we're like, we had to do it again. As soon as we, as soon as we finished recording is when the TMZ, literally the minute that we finished recording is when the TMZ video dropped. Yep. And then we were like, okay, we need to find a time to record later today, which is again, why Baxter was barking earlier and is like, we need to go on a WALK because we haven't yet.
22:15Huda Mustafa:So I need to go take him on a WALK.
22:18Taylor Frankie Paul:It's all Taylor Frankie Paul's fault, by the way.
22:20Huda Mustafa:It's all Taylor Frankie Paul's fault. Let us know what you guys think. I know, again, this is kind of like a, I don't even want to say nuanced conversation. I feel like it's very black and white and people are making it more nuanced than it needs to be. Oh, we'll get, yeah. I mean, we'll see. You always do. And we appreciate it. 29:25Taylor Frankie Paul:I'm Sophie. I'm Christy. And we've heard you, baby Snarks. But when things come up that we cannot ignore, we will, by all means, do an emergency press conference for you guys to make sure you guys hear our thoughts in real time.
29:58Taylor Frankie Paul:And, of course, the TFP thing off the heels of The Bachelor about to air about Secret Secret Lives of Mormon Wives season four airing, season five being put on pause. There's so much to discuss about Taylor. And so the way we're going to outline this episode is Sophie will take us through Taylor Frankie Paul's domestic violence allegations. I'm going to take you through Huda's temporary restraining order that was granted against her by her boyfriend's baby mama. There's a lot to discuss here.
30:27Huda Mustafa:Yeah, there is a lot to discuss. And yeah, let's start with Taylor Frankie Paul. First of all, you know, we're going to be discussing domestic violence. So if that is something that you're not comfortable listening to, just a trigger warning up top that actually for both of these stories, they have to do with domestic violence. In Huda's case, she was threatening to unalive herself. We will get to that. But yeah, just a trigger warning up top. So the Taylor Frankie Paul situation, I don't even know where to begin, honestly, but it was on Monday, March 16th. It was Monday. It wasn't Sunday. I've seen some conflicting that it came out Sunday.
31:12Huda Mustafa:I think it was Monday that it was announced that the filming of season five of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives was on pause due to a domestic incident between Taylor Frankie Paul and her second baby daddy, Dakota Mortensen. and Christy I know that you watched the first two seasons of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives but kind of fell off during season three where are you now in your journey of watching I've only watched like
31:35Taylor Frankie Paul:partial amount of season three episode one so not even close but I have heard in the zeitgeist online between the snark bait team members that Taylor Frankie Paul's season four edit is not looking great and thus it comes as no surprise given that just a couple days ago she was hit with the domestic violence allegation like it just seems like it's not a good month for taylor
31:58Huda Mustafa:frankie paul yeah and uh so i have finished watching season four and it's not even an edit to be clear like it is like her behavior in the things that she is doing are so unhinged she is unwell it's very obvious yeah because i keep carrying she okay so for example dakota her and dakota at this point are broken up she brings in another guy into town she's that she like met on tiktok or something she's about to go on the bachelorette she is very much single she finds out that dakota you know the the dad talk guys which fuck dad talk it's so annoying how they're being pushed on us the dad talk guys go to vanderpump villa in london and apparently yeah i guess there's a vanderpump villa in london yeah it's like who gives a fuck and apparently dakota hooks up with a girl when they're there taylor finds out she calls him and she says did you enjoy it did you finish oh god it's like oh my god are you 12 this is a 31 year old woman like this is so unhinged and also they're not together who cares and then she keeps calling this woman a whore just because like she slept with your single baby daddy like huh it's just like she's so unhinged she actually slept with dakota the night before she left for the bachelorette i did hear that and then missed her flight to la because she didn't feel well which people have speculated what are they doing together exactly like are they doing drugs they both look a little strung out that is pure speculation but people they keep using the word like on this season that they are addicted to each other they're addicted to the toxicity they're addicted to having sex with each other whatever it is but I think that there is an underlying like I don't know I feel like there may be the other wives are maybe hinting at it but I could just be making that up.
33:57Huda Mustafa:That is pure speculation. Either way, it's a very toxic relationship. There is.
34:03Taylor Frankie Paul:Well, and the other wives are refusing to film season five with her. They're pausing production because of the allegations, but they're like, weren't done.
34:09Huda Mustafa:They're, they're over her. And you can tell in season four that they are over her. They were like, you are choosing this. You are choosing to sleep with Dakota over and over again. And then you're screaming and crying. And you're talking about how toxic it is. and it's just these are decisions that she is making and I feel like she the language that she uses is why is this happening to me instead of reflecting on the fact that she is choosing this she is consciously making these decisions over and over again anyway it's it's just a painful watch watching her on uh this season um again there's also another girl that he hooks up with and it's someone that's like in the greater friend group.
34:52Huda Mustafa:And she, again, like she's not super close to this girl, Shania, but she also freaks out at both of them. Freaks out. Everyone's scared to tell her because they don't know how she's going to act. She just has very, very, very poor emotional regulation. And they all know that. Like they're all kind of afraid of her and tiptoe around her. And she also made a really weird comment. So they're in LA to support the Dancing with the Stars girls at one point. They're all staying in a house together, which again, it's like, why is Dakota fucking invited? Like, why do they keep like putting them both in this situation?
35:26Huda Mustafa:I guess it's like, just keep Dakota away for mom talk. Like he has nothing to do with us. He's not with Taylor anymore. Like, why is he invited? But I guess he's part of dad talk and they're trying to make dad talk happen. So they're in LA. They sleep together, which again, everyone's like, what the fuck are you doing? Oh, also Harry, Harry Jousey shows up.
35:44Taylor Frankie Paul:Oh, I did. I did.
35:45Huda Mustafa:Yeah.
35:46Taylor Frankie Paul:Why do I like kind of like him? remember when Olivia saw him in LA oh my god that was so funny Harry over here over here
35:54Huda Mustafa:so um she has Harry Jousey in front of her and she still chooses to sleep with Dakota
36:00Taylor Frankie Paul:and Harry Jousey down what did he want to hook up I think I think I mean it was like implied that
36:05Huda Mustafa:there was maybe like maybe they're gonna hook up you know they were flirting over DM and blah blah blah and he slid into her DMs so I don't know she had Harry Jousey there chose to hook up with Dakota inside then she makes a really weird comment she was like I just I saw him like walking like ever their son because they share a son together she said that like similarly to ever yeah like he reminded her of their son and then it made her sad and made her want to hook up with him I was like what like she is so fucking unwell I'm sorry that is so disgusting and disturbing I don't understand that like oh my god no no that yeah that's that's very concerning to say I mean
36:43Taylor Frankie Paul:to say out loud like I mean concerning concerning thought process but even more concerning that she
36:49Huda Mustafa:thinks it's appropriate to talk about that yes the things that she feels comfortable saying out loud on camera and I think for the first three seasons of Secret Lives of Women and Wives I was very much like a Taylor Frankie Paul apologist I was like she is such a chaotic she's a chaos agent like she's amazing for reality tv she's just extremely chaotic and we did a whole deep dive on Taylor Frankie Paul. And I think something that I noted, I think this was last summer, so it's been a while, if I'm recalling correctly. Something that I said is that I think she's just kind of not very smart. Like, I just don't think that she's very intelligent.
37:27Huda Mustafa:And I don't think that she has, you know, bad intentions or anything. I just think that she's kind of dumb. Is that mean?
37:35Taylor Frankie Paul:No, no. I think that's very good. She has low IQ.
37:39Huda Mustafa:She is low IQ. When I watch her, I'm like, okay, yeah, like you can kind of see why she's turned out the way that she has turned out. She has the mental capacity, it seems like, of, and this isn't just like intelligence-wise, it's also EQ.
37:51Taylor Frankie Paul:EQ, yeah.
37:52Huda Mustafa:Like emotionally, she is a 12-year-old. And I think this happens a lot with these Mormon wives. They got married at 18. They had kids at 19. They just never like emotionally matured. Also, she has very clear daddy issues. That's a big focal point of her season four arc is trying to, you know, connect with her biological father who she never had any sort of relationship with. So, and her mom is also very strange. Like, there's a lot of, like, weird, like, you can tell why she ended up the way that she is.
38:27Taylor Frankie Paul:100%. That season two when her dad's like, you slept with Dakota? What does that make you? Her stepdad, yeah.
38:33Huda Mustafa:Her stepdad.
38:34Taylor Frankie Paul:Like, her parents gave me a huge. Everyone is weird.
38:37Huda Mustafa:Everyone in that family is strange.
38:39Taylor Frankie Paul:There's a strange timeout.
38:40Huda Mustafa:Yeah, so it's no surprise she's ended up the way that she has ended up, but, like, she is still making these very conscious choices. So let's, you know, talk about the incident that apparently happened in mid-February. First of all, Dakota alleges that he had called the Utah Division of Child Services multiple times on her, claiming that she had been abusive to their son ever. and let's talk about you know the original domestic violence incident that happened between them back in 2023 if you remember the pilot of secret lives of Mormon wives the very first episode this happens body cam footage and this is why I don't and also this mugshot that TMZ just
39:23Taylor Frankie Paul:released tell me she doesn't look absolutely zooted in this photo her pupils are so dilated it's not even funny she is on something it's not alcohol induced so the police report is
39:36Huda Mustafa:worse than i think anyone really knew um it's it's really bad and this is why i also don't feel bad as you guys know she is uh the bachelorette you know they filmed an entire season of her it's supposed to be released next week um actually on this upcoming sunday night i believe i don't feel bad for ABC and Hulu and the pickle that they're currently in because they chose her after this happened. So this is from the police report in 2023.
40:08Taylor Frankie Paul:Yes.
40:09Huda Mustafa:And there is a video of this, the video from, you know, the house and cell phone footage. So Taylor, yeah, Dakota actually filmed this. And also Taylor apparently filmed the most recent or has video evidence from the most recent incident too so dakota i think is in a pattern and i think they're both toxic dakota's no angel either sweetheart but i think that he had the wherewithal to say she is doing things that she shouldn't be doing she's being physically abusive um the children are involved and also apparently at the season three reunion he apparently called her out for being abusive and abc edited it out because they knew she was going to be the bachelorette.
40:55Huda Mustafa:So ABC knew what they were doing here. They knew who she was, but this is from the police report. Taylor threw a metal chair at Dakota, which hit him in the arm and hand. After the throw, Taylor raised her arms up in a taunting manner. Dakota yelled, your daughter is right here. Taylor did not stop assaulting Dakota and proceeded to throw a second chair and swing a third metal chair at Dakota twice in a baseball style motion. The chair hit Dakota's arms. According to Dakota, after the chair hit his arms, the chair then hit her daughter, Taylor Frankie Paul's daughter, with her ex-husband in the head.
41:29Huda Mustafa:In the head, she hit her daughter in the head. Immediately after watching Dakota's arms get hit on video, the police officer who wrote this report noted that the chair's momentum continued in the direction of the nearby couch. That's where the daughter was laying on the couch. The daughter began crying immediately. the assault continued off screen while Dakota yelled stop throwing stuff at me stop screaming at me the daughter was crying in the background heard Dakota yell your daughter just got hit in the head with a metal chair Taylor responded because of you Dakota yelled back no you go and help your daughter now help your daughter Taylor sounded like Dakota tried to check on the daughter by asking are you okay the daughter cried no the arguing continued until the police showed up and yeah.
42:16Huda Mustafa:Is this in the police report? Yes. And the police officer also witnessed Taylor hit Dakota at the front door.
42:21Taylor Frankie Paul:Whoa.
42:22Huda Mustafa:Yeah.
42:22Taylor Frankie Paul:I remember the chair. I remember the chair being brought up, I think on the show.
42:25Huda Mustafa:Yeah. Metal chairs. Metal chairs. And the daughter was hit. Like, oh my God. I'm shocked that she still shares custody with her ex-husband. I'm shocked that he didn't demand full custody. Yeah. It is like so, so bad. And I think because it's a woman, People are like, well, like in Dakota also, we've seen him be a toxic piece of shit on TV. So it's like people I've seen people online be like Dakota deserve that shit. And it's like, well, no, I don't think that anyone deserves physical abuse. And I think that if Taylor, Frankie, Paul. Were a man that like the season would already be pulled like this is not this is not OK.
43:09Huda Mustafa:This is not normal behavior. this should not be encouraged and the police report says you know she intentionally threw multiple items of property these metal chairs she used the metal chairs as a dangerous weapon against dakota dakota in his interview stated that he feared for his life because these metal chairs were so heavy and honestly i don't blame him like if someone is swinging a heavy object at you and towards your head area i could picture myself like my life would flash before my eyes she yeah It doesn't matter how small she is.
43:39Taylor Frankie Paul:Yeah, it doesn't. I mean, we obviously, I think the majority of domestic violence cases, although I apologize, I don't have the numbers, but I think just based on what I know, men are more violent than women statistically. Yeah, and they're also stronger.
43:53Huda Mustafa:They're stronger. Yeah, exactly. Absolutely.
43:56Taylor Frankie Paul:That's not to say that Dakota does not fear for his life when she is around because there are many a time when a woman has taken her male partner's life through a weapon, through aggravated assault, through huge, like, blunt force. Like, this is very, very scary. Yeah. I do want to call out, sorry not to take us too off track or interject, but I was going to say, I've seen a lot of stuff about Dakota being abusive at the same time towards Taylor and Frankie.
44:25Huda Mustafa:Yeah, they both can be abusive.
44:27Taylor Frankie Paul:Yes, yes. And I think that both of them are, like you said, no angel either, sweetheart. I think in this specific incident, we're talking about the 2023 domestic violence incident. Taylor Frankie Paul, it appears, was the aggressor.
44:39Huda Mustafa:Yes, and the police that have watched the video say that. The police literally said, based on the video footage, Taylor threw the metal chair at a high rate of speed. A dangerous weapon is defined by Utah code as an object that, in the manner of its use or intended use, is capable of causing death or serious bodily injury. The heavy metal chair could have caused serious bodily injury in the manner that Taylor used them when she threw and swung them at Dakota. So the police officer is like, he could have died. Like, she could have killed him. Like, that's how serious it was. And they ended up, you know, the charges were felony three assault, misdemeanor criminal mischief, misdemeanor domestic violence in the presence of a child, reckless child abuse misdemeanor.
45:22Yeah.
45:24Huda Mustafa:So it's like she had these charges. There is no other reality TV contestant that would have or should have been cast with that on their record. but yes she has a rap sheet yeah she's actually an abc and we know that you know we've talked extensively about you know the people that have slipped through the cracks during reality tv vetting and in this case they bet the rules to cast her as bachelor because there's no one else that would have been cast but they wanted the ratings and they know that she is a ratings darling she's reality tv gold secret lives of mormon wives was an overnight success the moment it premiered.
46:02Huda Mustafa:So back to the most recent incident. It's unclear how this February dispute started slash went down. Taylor Frankie Paul's version that she has leaked to the press, it looks like, is that they were fighting in the car, a drink spilled on Dakota, and he went bananas. He blew up. Production and Dakota have denied this version. The version of events that is now being, it looks to be confirmed by some of the other secret lives of mormon wives cast members based on instagram likes is that she choked him with his necklace and grabbed his throat and face in front of ever their almost two-year-old son and this seems to be the accurate version of events allegedly and like i said watching this season of secret lives mormon wives like she has she sees read like she gets so angry so quickly and she has very poor emotional regulation that reading this I am not one bit surprised yeah he apparently called police uh Taylor convinced him to lie to the police they then hung out again the next night she scratched his neck and threw his phone against a wall a friend apparently saw this this neck injury of his and called police the next day Responding officers saw and confirmed his injuries.
47:26Huda Mustafa:And backing up to January, just a month after her bachelorette season, this was leaked by Reality Steve and apparently Dakota's roommate or friend. She apparently called Dakota 150 times. In one night. In one night, starting at 2 a.m. and then again at 3.45 a.m.
47:47Taylor Frankie Paul:Oh, my God.
47:48Huda Mustafa:And this is after she was on The Bachelorette. She has her F1. She has her F1. And by the way, I have read the spoilers. I think a lot of people have been spoiled. I won't spoil it here. But I think it's pretty obvious that it doesn't work out because here she is.
48:04Taylor Frankie Paul:I mean, yeah, you're not calling her ex 150 times at 340 a.m.
48:10Huda Mustafa:And that's another reason why Bachelor fans are pissed. A lot of Bachelor fans are mad for many reasons. Obviously, this is an abusive person who now it's like we're supposed to like watch her be the bachelorette as if she's not like she doesn't she needs psychological help. But also the fact that it's already been spoiled because of all of this mess, people are so bad. It's like, what's the point of the season? So. Crazy, crazy. This incident apparently happened, like I said, in February. and apparently Dakota went MIA, which is why Secret Lives of Mormon Lives production stopped. Also, because he's, you know, part of the story, but also the other MomTalk women are apparently refusing to film with Taylor Frankie Paul and are done with her.
49:02Huda Mustafa:Michaela actually did a Q &A just yesterday where she answered a question about it and said, yes, it was our decision to not film until this incident is resolved. um jesse draper has also liked instagram posts about you know the the choking and all the things seemingly confirming that this is what happened um and like i don't know with the bachelorette i don't know what they're gonna do like if you asked me yesterday like i would say they for sure would pull the season but now we're two days away and they haven't pulled the season So it's like, are they going to air it? Like, are they that low that they're just going to air it?
49:47Huda Mustafa:But apparently Dakota has footage slash evidence of the abuse, which he has apparently showed the other women, which is maybe informing them, you know, siding with Dakota here instead of, I wouldn't even say siding with Dakota, but they're against Taylor. They're not supporting Taylor, Frankie, Paul and all of this. And the division of child and family services in Utah has ordered both of them to get psych evaluations. Cinnabon has pulled out as a sponsor of The Bachelor and Secret Lives of Mormon Wives saying the recent news doesn't align with their values and from what I'm hearing I think more sponsors are following suit people don't want to advertise during The Bachelorette premiere and I think like if it's going to affect ABC's bottom line you would think even if they have no morals you would think that they would be like okay this is affecting our bottom line it's time
50:33Taylor Frankie Paul:to cut the cord yeah like I was thinking about this a lot and I am harkening back to the glory days of the bachelor pre-2020 and look the bachelor has never been the highest moral ground yeah they have had contestants on that had history of sexual assault they've had a kind of a bachelorette lead being sexually assaulted while on set yeah they have had a very very dark history we should do an entire patreon episode on the bachelor franchise in and of itself because there's a lot of dark-sided stuff i mean we had chris harrison basically like accosting rachel lindsey on live television about the rachel kirkconnell antebellum costume yeah a black woman and he was a lead for decades right so I think the bachelor franchise has always been very catered to a very we always hate midwestern we can say because Sophie's from midwest but you guys know what we mean like a very conservative midwestern traditional value after the season you get engaged you get married it's it it hosts to a very conservative audience and I think that with conservative audience comes more traditional values and people with Chris Harrison's beliefs and things like that but I what I'm trying to say is like they are not necessarily the most liberal woke side of history and I don't know like they've kept seasons on for for far less so I I which is disappointing but I think at the end of the day like you said they have invested probably so much into this because they know for this season this is a game changer for the show because we've all known for the past six years no one's watching the show anymore so they probably pulled out all the stops knowing And it's the lead was someone that we all knew.
52:18Huda Mustafa:It's so interesting also because like the bachelor used to be about an eligible bachelor that everyone is going to want. And everyone's going to compete over. And even before Taylor Frankie Paul's casting, we've said before, it's like, remember the Zach, the bachelor? I was like, no one wants Zach. They keep casting like these people where I'm like, nobody wants this person. Like this isn't realistic. Now we know people are just going on the show for fame because they don't actually want Zach Shellcross or whatever his name is. Nice enough guy. He's still with his F1. Nice enough guy. But it's not like anyone would look at him and be like, I need him.
52:54Huda Mustafa:Whereas the early seasons of The Bachelor, it was about -
52:57Taylor Frankie Paul:Ben Higgins.
52:58Huda Mustafa:Oh, Ben. Love Ben Higgins. Ben Higgins, I wasn't even thinking of. I was thinking of like Andrew Firestone. Like one of the OGs, like hot, successful. Enriched, yeah. Yeah. Like it's just, it's really lost its way. And with Taylor Frankie Paul, it's like, what is the, like, it's clearly just for ratings because I don't think people are looking at Taylor Frankie Paul and they're like, wow, super, super, super eligible, no baggage at all. It's like she always was going to come on with baggage and obviously, you know, multiple children for multiple men, which there's nothing wrong with that. But that's a lot that these men would be signing up for.
53:31Huda Mustafa:yeah and it's just like I feel like they just need to go back to what the original blueprint was which is find someone that is actually someone that a lot of people want to be with like Taylor Frankie Paul like that is a lot to be with Taylor Frankie Paul you'd be signing up for a lot and not just the children but like her personality and her lifestyle and just everything about her is just a lot but in any case I was actually talking about this with my co-workers yesterday we were like what are they going to do I was like I really think they're going to pull the season and then you know we were talking about what if they just you know dumped it all on Hulu so people could watch it and people could you know the people who want to watch it can watch it it's not a total loss but not air it every single night yeah on ABC because you know then we're going to have to keep promoting this abuser over and over again every single week and it's just why are you doing this this is incredibly problematic so i don't know what they're going to do at this point it seems like they're probably going to air it which is a choice they're promoting i've seen commercials for it on hulu they are still promoting it um and then taylor frankie paul actually went on good morning america yesterday we're recording right now on thursday march 19th she went on yesterday on wednesday march 18th this was her first you know interview appearance since these allegations have come out and obviously she took zero accountability did you watch this yeah it was really I didn't even know what she was saying
55:01Taylor Frankie Paul:it was a word salad she was not making sense it was very disjointed you could tell that like
55:08Huda Mustafa:she was given like talking points and one of them 100 and one of them was my children come first so she had to like remember she was like and of course my children come first my children come first she like repeated it it was really strange and she said you know honestly that I actually was writing that there's been studies about people who say honestly before they say something are usually lying. But she goes, honestly, it's been a heavy time to see the headlines, especially during this time during the bachelorette being released. It's supposed to be an exciting time. I will always speak my truth.
55:36Huda Mustafa:So when the time is right, I will. Right now I want to be present. My kids come first. It's been stressful. And so again, it's like she's acting like, oh, oh my God, it's been a heavy time for you during the bachelorette release. Like, oh my God, Like, how sad that that's happening to you. No, these are your choices. It's, like, everything is happening to her. And it's not her, like, this is a result of your actions. Like, just zero accountability. It's, like, all about, like, oh, my God, my premiere is being overshadowed. No one feels bad for you. Like, it's just so, but again, it's, like, she wouldn't know how to really craft a good, like, good morning America interview.
56:14Huda Mustafa:I don't know why they put her on still because she's not smart. like she has of course it was going to be a train wreck and it was the first thing i thought of when
56:23Taylor Frankie Paul:i listened to her on gma was one this is such a canned response to she has talking points it was so clear that this was not coming from her this was someone else and you're right she lacks all the accountability she lacks all self-awareness she has low emotional intelligence low iq you and i were talking offline about this i was like if the roles were reversed and we were premiering a season of The Bachelor and the male lead was caught throwing chairs or choking his significant, his ex, his ex-girlfriend hitting a child in the head with a metal chair, hitting a child in two seconds, that season will be wiped.
57:00Taylor Frankie Paul:They wouldn't even think about proceeding, but because she's a woman, it's okay. And we've seen this also in like, for instance, grooming situations or statutory rape in when you hear about men abusing young women in high school environments they get 20 years I'm just making a number up when women are doing the same thing to male teenagers they're given five years right or they're like people are met on the internet are
57:25Huda Mustafa:like I would love for that to be my teacher like it's not it's not taken as seriously right right
57:30Taylor Frankie Paul:and I think it's a double standard yes it's very serious and I think above all the a child's life has been in danger once in 2023 and two psychologically recently the fact that ever
57:43Huda Mustafa:as a two-year-old had to see this ever was present and like ever at least with the other two children that she shares with her ex-husband like it sounds like they have a stable life with their father you know ever it's like both of his parents are train wrecks it's really and the fact that she was doing this in front of ever is so horrible that is something that will affect him and will traumatize him it's like it's so fucked up it's just like it it's actually concerning to me and i know this sounds dramatic but it's like concerning to me that she's a mother like watching her on this season even before this came out when i was watching it i was like it's concerning that she's a mother because she is mentally and emotionally a 12 year old this was before the latest incident like it's just i'm not surprised that the other women are cutting ties with her and it's like retroactively thinking about demi calling it out originally she was like she's a liability she's abusive to dakota like she had said these things and people didn't take her seriously and in fact all the viewers sided with taylor and all the other wives sided with taylor everyone was like fucked at me but like was she lying no like and to be clear we're not
58:50Taylor Frankie Paul:mom shaming either i think objectively it is concerning like it's there are certain people in this world there are people in this world i'm sorry should should not have children because they haven't worked on themselves and I hope that's not a hot take like I just genuinely think that it's our job as parents to facilitate a safe environment for our children. Well that's why you
59:11Huda Mustafa:shouldn't have kids when you're a teenager like these Mormon wives do. They have children when they were way too young and I think that is objectively not a great thing. Some teenagers might be ready to have kids but most aren't and yeah they are just not emotionally intelligent enough to be good parents i mean i'm not saying it looks like all of them are wonderful mothers and they all have this amazing village where they help out with each other's kids it's beautiful to see but i think in taylor frankie paul's case to me it's concerning i'm concerned for her kids yeah um and also like whitney season one after the original dv incident happened in season one whitney was like this is a liability for mom talk she wasn't wrong and it's like everyone we all were like fuck Whitney but it's like looking back it's like she was right because this is a liability this could be mom talk might not survive this honestly like the women distancing themselves the show might not go on like and it's all because of Taylor Frankie Paul she could have just blown up her fucking life because she has no emotional regulation and she's abusive by definition liability means like you are in debt and these women are also their families are relying on
1:00:22Taylor Frankie Paul:these paychecks to come in from Hulu and the fact that now production has to be paused because the women find it too dangerous to be filming with Taylor Frankie Paul by definition she has now become a liability to their work yeah to their livelihood so yeah so Whitney and Demi were absolutely spot on with that and I think that anyone that wants to watch this season first of all this season if you're still watching The Bachelor you are so junior like I don't even know what you're still doing there are so many other reality tv shows i'm so excited for love island to be airing in a couple months here i know you don't watch sophie i i need you to
1:00:56Huda Mustafa:participate this year like i'm telling you i feel like it's too much of my personality now to watch
1:01:01Taylor Frankie Paul:it like no no sophie sophie i was thinking about this i'm like i don't think we can continue this show if you don't watch love island do you know what i mean i don't know if that's an ultimatum
1:01:12Huda Mustafa:if you're gonna like my response to that.
1:01:16Taylor Frankie Paul:No, it's just so good. It's just so good. Okay, but even if you don't watch it, it's fine. But what I'm saying is when you have shows like Love Island, why the hell are you still watching The Bachelorette? Like it's junior. I'm sorry you're junior if you continue to watch a show.
1:01:28Huda Mustafa:See, I'm like a Love is Blind girly. I feel like we've all found our own replacements to The Bachelor.
1:01:33Taylor Frankie Paul:You're right. You watch LIB, I watch LI. Love Island, yeah. I don't watch Love is Blind, but. Yeah. Or some seasons. But again, I hope for the safety of the children. I hope for the well-being of Dakota and Taylor above all else. I think we can all agree here that this is a very safe environment for us. This is not a safe environment for her to get more press and publicity for chasing or having men chase her. Like this is not something we want to platform right now.
1:02:02Huda Mustafa:They're still like, you know, ABC and Hulu are trotting her out. It's like she needs serious help. Like she does not need to be on good morning America. She needs help. And even like this season, as she's preparing to be the bachelor, you could tell that she's not taking it seriously. She's treating it as like a, this is my way of getting over Dakota. And all of the other mom talk girls are like, you need to go on the bachelorette so you can get over Dakota. And also like, it'll be good for mom talk. It'll like expose you to a new audience. Like they clearly are thinking of it like selfishly even where it's like, it'll be good for her to go on the bachelor because it'll be good for us.
1:02:39Huda Mustafa:and it's very clear that she was not ready she was not over dakota she was treating it more as like a oh you know like sure why not instead of like the serious thing that it is and i'm not someone that's like oh my god protect the you know this is so sacred we need to protect the integrity of the bachelorette like it's not even that it's like this would be a life-changing opportunity and something really exciting for anyone else but to her it was just like yeah
1:03:05Taylor Frankie Paul:whatever sure like yeah she was she was sold a get love quick scheme and that doesn't work like that when you have a serious when you have serious issues like you need really really deep work I hate that word deep work I just reminded myself but it's true but you need to do the work in order
1:03:22Huda Mustafa:to heal yourself before you can move on with another partner yeah in reality Steve said you know it was never this season was never going to be successful because she was always in love with Dakota and she's obsessed with him like it's just she is too obsessed with him and I think that's also why she has like a very stable relationship it seems like with her baby daddy number one and her baby daddy number two I think it's a combination of him also being toxic Dakota and also the fact that she is not obsessed with her first husband she cheated on him she's obsessed
1:03:55Taylor Frankie Paul:with Dakota obsessed yeah she always goes back to him yeah and so she there was never it was never
1:04:00Huda Mustafa:Oh, and also when she's leaving for The Bachelor on this season, he goes, well, can you save me a rose? Like, he's, like, trying to, like, you know, kind of put it in her head that, like, well, I'm still going to be here when you come back. So, like, it was just never going to work. It was a stupid decision to cast her in the first place, honestly. Nick Vile took credit when it first happened because he's like, I came up with that.
1:04:20Taylor Frankie Paul:Oh, shut the fuck up.
1:04:21Huda Mustafa:And it's like, let him take credit now because now look at where they've ended up.
1:04:27Taylor Frankie Paul:I can't, I, please. We've been recording for a couple of, I can't take the Nick Vile. I can't even hear his name right now. It's so triggering.
1:04:35Huda Mustafa:So speaking of reality TV women going off the deep end a bit, tell me about this Huda stuff. Because again, I didn't watch Love Island, but I watched, I saw TikTok about this that you sent me.
1:04:47Taylor Frankie Paul:Okay. So Huda Mustafa was a breakout star of Love Island. I think she may be the most followed person out of this season. Oh, wow. but we all know her, for people that watch Love Island Season 7, as Hurricane Huda because she was absolutely diabolical, borderline emotionally abusive to poor Jeremiah. She was borderline abusive to all of her fellow castmates, wreaking absolute havoc in the villa. She's been hit with a temporary restraining order by her boyfriend Louis Russell's baby mama named Nicole Oliveira. If you guys don't know who Louis Russell is, who I didn't know who he was, but I knew he was a reality star, he's a British model who was on Too Hot to Handle and The Perfect Match, which I feel like are always the redheaded stepchildren of Netflix reality dating shows.
1:05:27Taylor Frankie Paul:Like who watches Too Hot to Handle?
1:05:29Huda Mustafa:I haven't watched either of those and I love like Love is Blind and stuff.
1:05:32Taylor Frankie Paul:Yeah. I watched Perfect Match with Harry Jowsey and like Jess Vestal from one of the seasons of Love is Blind and that's where I stopped. But basically Nicole Oliveira was granted a TRO against Huda after Huda displayed incredibly concerning behavior last month in February. And Huda is now barred from getting within 100 yards of Nicole, her son that she shares with Louis Russell, and their home and a court date is set for I put two three I think I'm at April 3rd so let's walk through the allegations and then I need to read you guys the receipts if you guys have not read the text messages because they are concerning and alarming and frankly disturbing so on February 21st Huda allegedly took an uber to Nicole's LA apartment where Nicole lives with her young son and trespassed by forcing her way into Nicole's building Nicole claims that all this was captured on surveillance video at the apartment building.
1:06:23Taylor Frankie Paul:She insists she never gave Huda access to enter the building, either verbally, physically, via text message, nothing. And it's worth pointing out, the reason Huda went off the deep end was because that night on February 21st, she landed at LAX. She tried reaching out to her boyfriend, Louis Russell, who was not responding to her text messages. She became convinced that Louis was cheating on her with his baby mama. He wasn't answering her text messages, so she basically says, if you don't answer me, I'm going to go to Nicole's house because I know you're there. That's the reason why she decided to go to Nicole's apartment building.
1:06:54Taylor Frankie Paul:Never once in these interactions throughout this night did she ever reach out to Nicole. All these text messages that I'm about to read you guys in a couple moments here is between Huda to Louis. But it's concerning because Nicole wants no part in this. She's like, I am just the baby mama. Leave me out of it. But now she's become collateral damage because Huda believes that Louis is at Nicole's home. Huda has been sending alarming messages at this point for hours leading up to the incident of her breaking into the apartment building. allegedly threatening to harm herself and saying that she would not quote she would not be here tomorrow after landing at LAX earlier that day and Nicole told TMZ that Huda later confronted Lewis and demanded that he swear on their son's life that he would never leave her Nicole says listen I never wanted my son in the public eye um especially involved in anything negative because listen Nicole's not a reality tv star Huda's been on Love Island Lewis has been on Netflix various Netflix reality shows.
1:07:48Taylor Frankie Paul:Nicole herself, nor did her young son, ever sign up to be in the public eye. So I definitely feel for her. And Nicole was like, listen, this whole situation between Huda thinking that her boyfriend is cheating on her with me, has nothing to do with me, nothing to do with my son. And she's like, my sole focus is to protect my child, which is why I'm taking legal action against Huda. She's like, I don't want drama. I don't want a response from Huda. I don't want an apology. I just want privacy and safety for my family. And Nicole remains like empathetic. She's like, listen, this is an incredibly, this is an extremely unfortunate situation for everybody involved, emphasizing that her son's safety will always become her first priority and that she prays for Huda's mental health.
1:08:29Taylor Frankie Paul:So I need to read you guys these text messages because, again, they're so unhinged. Very unhinged. Huda, to Louis. And mind you, Louis is not responding to anything. Why are you not answering? She then sends a screenshot of an Uber from, I assume, like Santa Monica area, which probably is Huda's home, to Nicole's home. You believe me, here's proof. What are you doing? Are you cheating on me? Are you cheating on me? You're cheating on me. I remember where you told me where her window was. Lewis responds, you have to seek help, Huda. You need to go into a hospital. Just go back to your room and I will, I can't read what it says, and I will something.
1:09:11Taylor Frankie Paul:and Huda responds, I'm not safe. I'm not in a safe place, Louis. Am I even allowed to tell you these things? Do you care? I'm just going to lay here. I'm not at the hotel, by the way. I don't know if you care about that. I'm going to your baby mama's house. I'm in the Uber now. I'm about to be at Nicole's. Why are you not answering? You're destroying me and you don't care at all. Not an ounce of you cares. You don't care if I live or die. You're already in somebody else. then she sends a photo of her outside Nicole's apartment building. I'm here. Where are you? I'm at her house. Where are you?
1:09:47Taylor Frankie Paul:I'm standing here until you come out. I'm not leaving. You answer everyone but me, multiple question marks. You answer everyone but me, question mark, question mark. Yeah, and you think I believe that you love me? You don't love me. You don't care about my well-being or love me. You never did. By the way, all these different sentences are just like various text messages. Text message after text message. My God, she's so scary. Okay, then she sends a picture from inside the apartment building and like the stairs, the stairwell. I'm in the apartment, so either you see me right now or I'm knocking at every door.
1:10:18Taylor Frankie Paul:I know the area you said the apartment was. How could you do this? It's 1.30 a.m. and you expect me to believe you're not with a bitch? You never don't answer this much. You're taking it too far. You're making me go crazy. Is this satisfying to you? I'm not leaving until I see you. You don't love me. You never did.
1:10:34Huda Mustafa:Wait, so like just really fast, not to interrupt. Please. Like when someone thinks they're going to like win someone back by being insane like this, it's like, yeah, this is definitely going to make him like want to be with you.
1:10:52Taylor Frankie Paul:This is definitely going to make him comfortable enough to leave, even if he is in the apartment, to leave the apartment and have a very sound conversation with you. Yep. Very concerning. I'm not leaving until I see you. You don't love me. You never did. That's why it's so easy for you to leave. I always stayed through everything and you will blow up my phone and threaten me and hurt me and I'd still be here. This is torture you're doing to me. I never once did this to you. You tell me you don't want me to die and this is driving me to that point. I promise you on my daughter I won't be here tomorrow if I don't see you right now.
1:11:24Taylor Frankie Paul:Then she takes a photo of her on her rooftop. I'm presuming it's Nicole's apartment building's rooftop. I am always honest. I'm sorry I lied about what I lied about, but I was always honest. This is the most disturbing part. by my sweet handsome man your beautiful girl loves you more than anyone you'll ever know you're not with ollie he's not in town and then louis finally responds i didn't call the police and then she responds i knew this would happen so she basically was threatening to jump off this roof yes then just tuesday a couple days after nicole had filed the temporary restraining order huda takes to instagram to address the concerns.
1:12:05Taylor Frankie Paul:And she puts a story of like her at the gym. And she says, quote, I'm aware of what's being said. And it's not true. I'm handling everything the right way by letting legal take care of it. I appreciate everyone who continues to support me. Then a couple hours later, she posts like a meme of a little girl like laying down on a sidewalk looking absolutely spent. And it says me right now because I can't catch a break. Give me a fucking break, Huda. Then the plot thickens because the next day on Wednesday, March 18th, on Wednesday, TMZ reports, quote, Huda Mustafa claps back after BF's baby mama filed restraining order.
1:12:41Taylor Frankie Paul:And it's so clear to me that this is Huda telling TMZ. And I saw things on Reddit of people saying, see, all the allegations about the text messages and the restraining order aren't true. But this is what the actual article says. Sources with direct knowledge. Who are the sources with direct knowledge, TMZ? Tell me. It says, sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ Huda has never been in contact with Nicole, nor has she ever threatened Nicole or Nicole and Louis' child. If anything, our sources, a.k.a. Huda, say that Nicole has prevented Huda from meeting or speaking with a child, seemingly out of envy since Huda and Louis began their relationship.
1:13:16Taylor Frankie Paul:Oh, please. Oh, so now Nicole's just jealous of you, Huda, right? Oh, my God. Jealous of a woman who's displayed incredibly erratic, disturbing, and psychologically terrifying behavior on television. the article then goes on to say additionally our sources huda claim nicole has made hateful and false statements about huda and huda's child despite huda never having spoken negatively about anyone's kid according to our sources the allegations that huda threatened her own child her own life and her own child are false and both huda and lewis are attentive parents who constantly prioritize their children above all else okay first of all i have to say the temporary restraining order we've done an episode on Colton Underwood where Cassie Randolph did grant was granted a temporary restraining order against Colton Underwood and we on that episode said you know you don't just get a restraining order out of nowhere like there has to be precautions and like measures taken for a judge to grant someone a TRO we got a lot of comments saying like basically anyone can get a TRO so I had to look at it myself because I was like what are the actual what's the threshold of a judge granting someone a TRO so it says any person in California who experiences is harassment, abuse, threats, or violence has the right to file for a restraining order.
1:14:29Taylor Frankie Paul:The types of restraining orders depend on their relationship with the other person. To request their TRO, the filer, in this case, Nicole, must demonstrate that she has experienced any of the following to get a civil harassment TRO, which means unwanted contact, stalking, or threats from someone who is not a close family member. A TRO can be issued the same day that you apply, often without first notifying the accused. The judge only has to hear from you before issuing the order. the process can sometimes result in false or overstated claims like all of us were saying however the person you seek protection from will have the opportunity to challenge it in court during a court hearing so basically the tldr is like you're still under an affidavit or like penalty of perjury basically you're putting this in front of a judge that you are being truthful and honest and if you are saying exaggerated claims the person that the tro is made against can dispute it in court in a court of law like ultimately even though the tro can just be granted by a judge pretty easily and quickly it doesn't mean that you aren't held up to the same standard of anyone else once that permanent restraining order is then granted right
1:15:29Huda Mustafa:yeah so she she basically had to prove in some capacity that she was being stalked yes or harassed yes oh my god I mean she literally is so our this is what I'm confused about is hudda still with
1:15:49Taylor Frankie Paul:Lewis like are they still together yes so a couple things about that so the reason team everyone was like how did Nicole even get these text messages because remember Nicole and Hood had never made direct contact with one with one another Nicole Oliveira has claimed to multiple TikTok uh internet uh gossipers yeah yes that Lewis is the one that forwarded these text messages to Nicole to support her obtaining the TRO.
1:16:17Huda Mustafa:I was going to say, it's like they can't, like I keep seeing that they're still together, but like if he screenshotted these texts and like leaked them, then like that's something you wouldn't do to your current partner.
1:16:29Taylor Frankie Paul:Correct. So now we come to stand that Louis and Huda as it stands today, Thursday, March 19th, they're very much together.
1:16:38Huda Mustafa:Oh my God.
1:16:38Taylor Frankie Paul:Remember this happened a month ago, February 21st.
1:16:40Huda Mustafa:That's very concerning.
1:16:42Taylor Frankie Paul:So it's very possible that in the moment, Louis was very terrified for Hooda's life, for his son's well-being, for Hooda's daughter's well-being. And he did tell, he did encourage Nick or Nicole to get the restraining order. But it seems like Hooda and him have since reconciled and they are now back together. It's very disturbing.
1:17:04Huda Mustafa:Yeah, she's, I mean, like, I know I didn't watch Love Island, but she was the name on everyone's lips when the season was airing and, like, incredibly polarizing. and I know she also recently had like a racism scandal where she was racist to a Landria I was gonna say I can't remember which cast member it was on like an Instagram live and laughed at someone using the n-word about her that's exactly right and um that caused her to actually lose her sponsorship with Huda Beauty um which is not her makeup brand that's a makeup brand by another person named hannah yeah um oh my god she just sounds like a horrible human being honestly and quite honestly on the season of love island during the season when we watched her people are
1:17:55Taylor Frankie Paul:using the term crash out i think it was like a psychological mental breakdown it wasn't funny it wasn't i mean sure was it entertaining of course i'm a human being it's like watching a train wreck you can't help but watch what's happening in front of your eyes at the same time I remember thinking similar to Taylor Frankie Paul this woman has no regulation on her emotions she's never sought therapy and she's even admitted on an episode of Call Her Daddy she sustained a lot of trauma in her childhood she alluded to perhaps some sexual abuse happening from her father like I have no doubt that Hud is Life was was no picnic and that she has sustained and endured a lot that has caused her to be like this but I remember thinking on Love Island it's incredibly irresponsible to continue having her on this show.
1:18:38Taylor Frankie Paul:She was acting so erratically that you could tell the entire temperature of the villa was so depressed because everyone was becoming so severely drained from her actions and her being so abusive towards Jeremiah and Iris at the time, this other woman that Jeremiah was potentially interested in. It was bringing the entire vibe of the villa super down. And I remember thinking, if they don't take her off the show, I fear for her mental health and whether or not she's capable of doing something to harm herself or harm someone else in the villa. And now she's come out of it almost a superstar. Like people are laughing at her saying she's like an icon.
1:19:12Taylor Frankie Paul:She's a queen. I'm like, it's not funny to romanticize or lift up someone who's clearly struggling psychologically. And I think this just proves my point. Like, and now she's dispelling these rumors saying, nope, these are all doctors. These claims aren't true. The truth will come out in court. No, no, no, Huda. Make no mistake we all sell your behavior for two months in vg you were absolutely capable of these heinous
1:19:35Huda Mustafa:fucking crimes is that crazy how like reality tv produces these people who are so already mentally unstable i guess for lack of a better term but then we put them on tv and they make such good tv they're so memeable like so many sound bites from from hutta saying you know the mamacita moment and the my dream date cute like it just became she became such a tiktok sensation and same with like taylor frankie paul it's like we have someone that's already mentally unstable and then you put them on tv they're so entertaining because they're great for reality tv because the the less mentally stable the better when it comes to reality tv and then they get you know know, this massive following and fame and fortune.
1:20:26Huda Mustafa:And then it's like, it almost like encourages the behavior and then it makes them not want to seek help. Like it's like, why get better? Because everyone loves this version of you.
1:20:38Taylor Frankie Paul:Right. That's a great point that you come into this environment where you're not sure how you will be received by the audience. And then you come out and realize, oh, I was an absolute whack job and now I have 4 million followers.
1:20:51Huda Mustafa:Yeah.
1:20:52Taylor Frankie Paul:Let's keep it up. It's very dangerous.
1:20:55Huda Mustafa:Crazy.
1:20:58Taylor Frankie Paul:The text message receipts were just like the most concerning. The picture of the rooftop, my jaw fell to the floor.
1:21:05Huda Mustafa:I mean, again, I didn't even watch Love Island. I was enthralled by this TikTok running through these text messages because they were so fucking scary.
1:21:15Taylor Frankie Paul:Very scary. I genuinely feel like this is a very toxic relationship between her and Louis. Well, I think any relationship that Huda enters into will be toxic because she is the common denominator. But I wish the best for her daughter. I wish the best for Louis, for his son that he shares with Nicole. Like, this is just all in all, I think the common theme is we want Huda and Taylor to seek help. And we also want the well-being of those kids to be top priority. That's what's the most important. Absolutely.
1:21:50Huda Mustafa:Absolutely. That's the most important thing. I think that, you know, it's worrying to me, all of it. I think both of these situations are alarming, not just because, you know, you have someone that clearly needs help, but also children are involved and it begs the question, should people with children go on reality TV at all?
1:22:13Taylor Frankie Paul:No, I think that's a very valid question.
1:22:16Huda Mustafa:I don't know. It's just, it's, it's scary, but yeah, wishing the best for everyone involved. wishing the best for anyone listening who might also be in a toxic relationship. This is, you know, it's not good. It's not good. So, yeah, thanks for walking us through the Huda stuff. That is, again, very alarming.
1:22:40Taylor Frankie Paul:Very concerning, to say the least. But, yeah, we had to cover both of these. I think most importantly, the Taylor Frankie poll, because that's just been the name on everyone's lips, truly.
1:22:47Huda Mustafa:Yes, and we're recording this, like we said, on Thursday, March 19th. but because we have an episode that already went out today, we're going to release this on Friday, March 20th. So if any other developments happen before tomorrow, sorry. But we will always be, you know, we're going to be locked in to both of these situations. Yeah.
1:23:13Taylor Frankie Paul:Yeah, we're on red alert. We got Google alerts. Don't worry about it. So whatever we don't end up covering today, we'll be covered on DET if any new developments come up. And otherwise, we'll see you guys on Tuesday for another episode of DAT. Yes.
1:23:26Huda Mustafa:Thank you, guys. See you next time. Bye. After years of really not caring about my health as much as I should, one of my goals this year is to finally change that. Part of that is getting older. I won't say exactly how old I am, but let's just say I'm at the age where it's really starting to matter how I treat my body and my brain health. And I know plenty of you millennial baby snarks are probably having similar aha moments. That's why I'm so excited that I've discovered Function. It's the only health platform that gives you access to over 160 biomarkers, covering everything from hormones and metabolism to heart health, inflammation, stress markers, and toxins.
1:24:02Huda Mustafa:You can even add MRI and chest CT imaging, and it's all tracked in one secure place. It's the kind of comprehensive view of your health that most people never get access to. There's a reason function is backed by top U.S. doctors like neuroscientist Dr. Andrew Huberman and cardiovascular surgeon Dr. Jeremy London. I definitely feel like my memory and my neurons aren't as sharp as they used to be. And function of health has taught me what's happening in your brain reflects what's happening across your entire body. Things like inflammation, blood sugar regulation, nutrient levels, sleep quality, vascular health, all influence how your brain performs today and over time.
1:24:34Huda Mustafa:So if you're not measuring those systems, you're guessing. So stop guessing what's going on with your body and mind and start actually measuring. Start by understanding what's happening beneath the surface. Own your health for$365 a year. That's a dollar a day. Learn more and join Function using our link. Visit www.functionhealth.com slash snarkbait or use gift code snarkbait25 for a$25 credit toward your membership.
