In short
The episode of Snarkbait is about influencer Aspen Ovard: her Mormon-adjacent upbringing, long YouTube career, highly public divorce, and her post-divorce “rebrand” into more comedic, oversharing TikTok content. The hosts also discuss how parasocial fans and speculation (especially about her children) shape her decisions, including pulling back from showing her kids.
Guest backgrounds
No guests appear in the transcript; the hosts are Christy and Sophie. (They reference other creators/podcasts as sources, e.g., Avery Woods, Weekly Trash, Becca Moore.)
Key claims and notable examples
Aspen started YouTube at 14 (Oat Brilliance → Aspen Ovard), married Parker Ferris at 19 (2015), had daughters Cove (2019), Lola (2021), and Elle (April 2024, premature/NICU). During Elle’s birth announcement, she filed for divorce; her father Casey J. Ovard died in June 2024. She says there’s a “10-year secret” she won’t reveal (possibly tied to Parker’s Mormon mission), signed an NDA, and wants to protect her children. She later came out as queer/bisexual, described an early woman-kiss experience, and is dating Brie Davis (married to Billy), forming a non-monogamous dynamic she avoids calling a “throuple.”

Hey everybody, welcome back to another episode of Snarkbait. I'm Christy. I'm Sophie. And today, we got a highly requested influencer. And honestly, I know nothing about her, but I know she's on the tip of everyone's tongues.
2:29But before we get into that, Sophie, how are you doing? I am good. It is Thursday, May 21st. I feel like I'm still riding the high from the live show, honestly. But yeah, it's been like 95 degrees in New York for the past few days, which is nine five yes nine five and it's so funny because i was just in cali baby and i kept complaining about how cold it was and all i do is complain about how cold it is and now that it's 95 degrees i'm like okay well now it's too hot it's like will i ever just be happy and not complain no no but that's like when people are like oh see the bright side in life i'm like no but i love to complain yeah like i'm i'm never not gonna complain it's like a hobby i think it's like uh it's like baked into our DNA.
3:15Do you know what I mean? Like, I can't not do it. I mean, it literally is baked into my DNA. I'm turning into an old Jewish lady. Like, I will complain. It's what I do. It's what my ancestors have always done. Yeah. And I don't know if Chinese people are known for complaining, but I don't know if that's a... But you know what? There's plenty of other stereotypes, trust me, that I meet, okay? Like being a bad driver. Oh my God, stop. No, you did great. You You did great with your big Chevy Tahoe or whatever it was. You did a great job. Really? Thank you so much. Yeah. Okay, thank you. Thank you.
3:47I mean, there were a few moments where I'm like, okay, hit the brakes. We're getting really close to the car in front of us. Pay attention. Pay attention, please. You know, I had Precious Cargo touting you, Olivia, and Rachel. But no, thank you so much. We schlepped all of the goodie bags and just things for the live show and obviously all of our suitcases from OC to LA. and we rented a Chevrolet, Chevrolet, is that Chevy? Chevrolet, I keep saying Gat, like the gas Chevrolet. Chevy Traverse. And it was like 6X the size of my Hyundai Elantra. And it was very disorienting. I didn't know how to even turn the car on because it's one of those fancy things where you don't need the key to stick into the ignition.
4:28Oh yeah, you just press the button. Yeah, I don't know. I didn't even know how to turn it on, but the brakes were not like my brakes. So I was struggling for sure. Wait, did I tell you? We knew about this. RFK Jr. was in our hotel when we were there. Yes. RFK Jr. was staying in Santa Monica at our literal hotels at the same time as us. And my mom, like, saw him. And the people working there were, like, talking about it. But, yeah.
4:53Aspyn Ovard:We were like, is he here for Snarkbait Live? Can you imagine? When we were leaving, the bellhop was like, or the valet, he was like, how are you? He goes, been a day. And we all just started laughing. Yeah. And he goes, I go, why has it been a day? Tell me everything. I go, are people being mean to you? And he goes, no, no, no. It's a politician. And I go, oh, we already know. I go, yeah, yeah, we know. So they confirmed it. Yeah. Yeah. And then there were cops outside. And so we were like, but there's nothing going wrong. And we go, why are there cops? What's the drama? He goes, politician. But he didn't confirm because they can't say that.
5:26I don't want to like out the hotel. They never confirmed it was RFK. But we just knew because people had seen him in the hotel before. Yeah, yeah. And it was, I felt like I was part of the secret service. Like there were securities going, security coming down now, go. Like, and I was waiting just because I wanted, not that I would take a photo or like be interested in like talking to him. But I was like, it would just be cool to see him. But we didn't. So we left. My God. I don't even want to know what kind of dead animals he was bringing back to the hotel. What kind of hantavirus strain he was like, he was shooting.
6:01Yeah, like, please, please. We have enough to worry about. There's already too much. There's too much. So being in the same vicinity as RFK Jr., please, I have enough going on in my life. I have enough going wrong lately. Maha.
6:15Aspyn Ovard:Maha. It reminds me of The Amanda Show. It does. And we were just talking about, we were at the live show and we were talking about that picture of Amanda Batula wearing a wig looking like Penelope Taint. It is not from The Amanda Show. Millennials, you'll know. It was not Amanda Batula. I had it confirmed that it is a real, actually one of our listeners, she's like, this is my real friend and that's her real hair. And then I found the girl on Instagram. I sent you. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And it's literally just how she looks. She just happens to be Amanda Batula's doppelganger facially. No, it is.
6:47That's hilarious that that picture was being circulated. And I think myself included. She said her friend had no idea because her friend like doesn't pay attention to like Bravo or like any of that. She probably has life. Yeah, she has like a life. She has hobbies. She is like friends. She has, you know. Yeah, no, totally. Well, speaking of, well, I don't know what I was speaking of, but I'm really excited for you to take me through Aspen because she is going to be a new cast member on Secret Life Spinoff in Orange County. Yes. And even before her being cast into this show, I've heard about her.
7:17There's been mumblings. I think Shannon Affluently Ford was like asking us for an episode on her specifically. She's like, you know, I've been following her story and I just think it's fascinating. So I'm actually very excited to get into this. I feel like she's going to become like the next big influencer. Yes. And she already is. But she is, like you said, kind of a blind spot for me personally. Also, I really don't know a whole lot about her. And I know that she is a very passionate fan base, snarker base, just a very passionate following. So please bear with us because I am new to Aspen Ovard.
7:54And so I'm going to do my best to walk us through her lore. and I think we did a pretty good job with, you know, this whole timeline of her life. But again, please bear with us if there's anything we may have left out because she is, there are some people that I'm a scholar on, right? Listen to like our SFK episode. I am not - Craig Conover. Did it with my eyes closed. I am not necessarily a scholar on Aspen Ovard. So yeah, it's kind of new to me also, but this is so highly requested. And like you said, she is going to be on the new Secret Lives and Mormon Wives spinoff. And we felt like it was the perfect time to dive in.
8:31So let's get into it. So Aspen Ovard has been on YouTube. She's been a creator since she was 14 years old. She's currently 30. So she has been on the internet for a really, really, really long time. She's a beauty, lifestyle, fashion influencer, millions of followers, had a divorce, a very public rebrand, moved from Utah to Orange County, came out, started dating a woman slash being in a throuple. What? Oh my gosh. Okay. Yeah. So there is a lot happening there with Aspen, but let's get into her background. So she was born April 15th, 1996 in Aries. So she is 30. She is Utah born and bred. She was raised within the Mormon culture, but currently not practicing.
9:17She was baptized as a child and her father grew up LDS. And she's always described herself as like Mormon adjacent. She said, we went to church for the first little bit of my life, but that the religion doesn't feel like it was a huge core piece of my upbringing. She said that her dad grew up Mormon, her mom didn't, and she was largely surrounded by religion during her childhood and was baptized in the Mormon church, but again, grew up and didn't feel very connected to it. So she began making YouTube videos when she was in high school in 2011 at, like I said, the age of 14 years old, under the name Oat Brilliance, now operating as Aspen Ovard.
9:52And she would do, you know, beauty content, life updates, her then boyfriend at the time. And she was kind of one of the first influencers to capitalize on Pinterest slash Tumblr aesthetics, crossing over to YouTube. And a lot of like girls just grew up watching her, like middle school, high school age girls that have watched her now for like 16 years and now feel very parasocial with her. And I think the parasocial followers that she has has played a big part in how she interacts with fame and how she processes her virality and her fame and her career, which we will get into. I was going to say, too, when it comes to YouTube creators, we've talked about this before when we've discussed Tana and Logan Paul and David Dobrik.
10:40They're just more of a blind spot for us. But I do feel like YouTube creators, especially because she got her start on YouTube. It's like an entirely different animal. I feel like growing up on YouTube and being a creator on YouTube, you create such a parasocial fan base because you're not just letting them into a reel for 30 seconds. It's a full vlog for like an hour or however long you want it to be. And that makes sense now that why Shannon was like a fan of her because Shannon's like more of a YouTube girl. And we've talked about how like that's our blind spot. But that is really interesting that she's been doing this for like 15 plus years.
11:12Yes. Yeah.
11:13Aspyn Ovard:That's such a good point. Like people have very parasocial relationships with their favorite YouTubers because it is their hour long vlogs. It is their daily vlogs that they are tapped into. It is a prolific amount of content and they feel like they know that. And that is the whole point. Right. So, yeah, Aspen's content really, you know, would do it. It evolved into these daily life vlogs, family vlogs, eventually beauty, fashion and started doing a channel with her husband, Parker, which we will dive into. And not that she was ever, she was never like irrelevant, but TikTok definitely, I don't think revitalized her career is the right word, but it introduced her to a whole new audience.
11:57Like the people that weren't on YouTube, like you and me, like I was never someone that like was like poking around on YouTube to find vlogs to watch. And people that, you know, have discovered her in recent years, she has like a whole new fan base now is basically what I'm trying to say. She grew up with a younger sister, Avery, spelled A-V-R-E-Y, which is not intuitive. God, that would be so annoying to have to grow up with a name that's really spelled in a way. That looks just misspelled. It looks misspelled. Yeah, it does. It does. She also has two brothers named Tavin and Trey. In October 2015, she married fellow YouTuber Parker Ferris.
12:32So she was 19, and this was her high school boyfriend that I was referencing. She was only 19 when they got married. They had a daughter named Cove in August 2019. Their second daughter, Lola, was born in September 2021. They announced they were expecting their third child in October 2023. And they welcomed daughter Elle in April 2024. And she was six weeks premature and had to stay in the NICU for a bit. And during this exact time announcing that their third child was born, she also announced her divorce, that she was splitting up from her husband. Okay, so that's a lot going on. She's like, okay, so how old was she?
13:11So she married him in 2015. And then in 2024, they welcomed their daughter. So she was like 28-ish when she divorced her husband.
13:21Aspyn Ovard:Yes, it was like two years ago. Yeah, so she's 30. So yeah, she was 28. So Aspen and Parker. Parker Ferris is a fellow YouTuber. And they had overlapping YouTube circles. They also knew each other growing up in Utah since elementary school. They got engaged after only two months of dating in August 2015 and then married that October in St. George, Utah. Again, she was 19. He was 20. And they had this joint YouTube channel together where they posted wedding content. And they were launching like these family vlogger style vlogs before they were even married. So they would do house tours, engagement, then the wedding.
14:03And then the pregnancy and birth announcement. I got a nose job. Super kind of cringy family content shit. Did you ever watch that Netflix documentary about that? Oh, I think it was like the Ashley Madison documentary. Did you ever watch that? I don't know if I did. So they were, I hope I'm getting this right because it's been a while. But it was basically this family that portrayed themselves as this like the perfect family. Let's go to Disneyland together. Like they would vlog every single moment of their lives. and then come to find out this husband who's supposed to be perfect, the perfect dad, the perfect father, is on Ashley Madison fucking around.
14:38And I think he said, oh, you know, I didn't end up actually meeting these women that I was talking to on this chat. It was just like me cheating through my phone. Whether or not that's actually true, I don't know. I kind of doubted that when watching the documentary. But I feel like you just never know what's going on in the household. And clearly like, oh, house tours, engagements, the birth, the wedding, da-da-da-da. They portray themselves as perfect when in fact it's the exact opposite.
15:01Aspyn Ovard:Yes, the diametrical opposite. Exactly. As Dorit. As Dorit one put it. Yes. So, yeah, that's a really, really, really good point. They kind of had this classic 2010s aesthetic, all white, beige, minimalist interiors, this blonde, Utah, perfect, like Christian couple, perfect life, Pinterest core, a very hyper-controlled just look, branding. And she really like represented this clean girl lifestyle before a clean girl was really a thing. And that's part of why her now oversharing content and her messy, you know, I'm coming out. I'm queer now. I am a totally different person. I'm going to actually overshare everything.
15:46It's like such a 180, which we will obviously get to. But it's like she went from having this very tightly controlled image to now this very jarring, whoa, like you're really going there. You're really talking about everything. But yeah, it was definitely more of like an aesthetic, I have this perfect life thing, like you mentioned. And she started pulling back from showing their daughters on camera in October 2023. started to cover faces with emojis, mostly gone from her content completely by the birth of their third, which great. But apparently this was because her fans were becoming really speculative and parasocial and invasive when it came to their oldest daughter, Cove, and speculating about her health and appearances.
16:34And there have been, there's just been a lot of speculation about her health. And I completely respect, obviously, Aspen and her husband saying, you know what, It's not your guys' business. Whatever is going on with our daughter's health, we are going to pull back and stop showing them. And I wish that more influencers would actually follow suit, honestly. Yeah. So let's talk about this rebrand. So in 2024, Aspen and Parker take a babymoon to Puerto Vallarta. And in April of 2024, their daughter Elle is born six weeks early. And that same day, Aspen files for divorce in Salt Lake County's third district court.
17:10And Aspen originally like didn't want to make this public, but then people were digging and they found the divorce filing online. And which is so again, it's so crazy how parasocial people are with her and how they are with a lot of different creators. But it's really, really, really interesting how parasocial people are with her. Do you know what I'm thinking about? What? when this is like obviously such a 180 but like when emily kaiser's son tragically passed people were calling the police station to get like the documents and the records it's like it's too much you know it goes too it's crazy far and it becomes it's parasocial doesn't even begin to describe that it's just yeah it's not right yes and i think that's a really good point because similarly that is when obviously, you know, it's such a fucking tragedy what happened with Emily Kaiser's son.
18:03But I think that was like such a wake up call for Emily in multiple ways, right? Like, she has another child and she has not shown him on the internet once. Because she realized that the parasocial relationship that people had with her son was not healthy or normal. Because why are these people calling you know the the more you know why are they calling hospitals about a child they don't know and i think that really you know for obviously multiple reasons was a huge wake-up call for emily but i think that that is informed how she shares or doesn't share her child yeah she's also taking a break from the internet as a oh she is yeah she posted a tiktok and she's like i just need a little bit of a break because she just oh because it was the anniversary Yeah, it's like Mother's Day.
18:47And it's just, I might have read it. It might have been Trigg's birthday month or I might be saying that wrong. I think his birthday, it's weird that I know this. Speaking of parasocial, his birthday was in July because he was a few months short of turning for, I believe, when the accident happened. Gotcha. But yeah, it's so tragic. But in June 2024, Aspen's dad, Casey J. Ovar, died suddenly at age 48. And Aspen deliberately did not publicize his death. But again, Reddit users surfaced the obituary, which also revealed her third daughter's name, Elle, because she had not announced her daughter's name.
19:24she made a TikTok about a breach of privacy and she allegedly had not spoken to her father in many years at the time of his death perhaps you know LDS related trauma because again he was a very active Mormon and she did this like TikTok where she was like you see how I don't talk about my divorce online very demure very mindful very smart very good mom and it seems like she was struggling with she was rethinking the relationship she had with the internet right like she clearly had very, very, very parasocial fans and was coming to realize that. But she just started to make the rounds on podcasts.
20:00I actually listened to her on Cheers with Avery Woods. And, you know, she kind of talks about her decision to divorce. She says it wasn't, you know, there's been a lot of speculation about, you know, he's gay or he cheated or this or that. And she makes it clear that the internet really doesn't know. But she says that she discovered a 10-year secret. What? And does not ever confirm what this secret is. There is a lot of speculation that it's about that he was like secretly drinking or that he apparently, it's kind of confusing. Let me make sure I get this. Okay. Someone speculated the 10-year lie I think has to do with Parker's mission.
20:43He told Aspen and she was under the impression that he decided not to go on his mission and be with her. I think he confessed to the leaders, so like the Mormon leaders, that they had sex before he went on his mission, so premarital sex. And he was told he wasn't worthy to go on a mission anymore. His parents and family knew about it, but she didn't. She wasn't attending the church at that point, so how would she know? Parker then told Aspen that he decided not to go on the mission for her and decided to go ahead with the marriage route instead. And basically, she thinks their whole relationship is a lie because she thought he dropped everything for her when in reality she was second choice because he was not allowed to go on the mission.
21:20So that is just speculation. She has never confirmed what this 10-year lie is, which is interesting. I feel like the drinking thing, to be honest, in my life, I haven't been around enough alcoholics that are close to me to know what the symptoms are. But I do feel like if someone were drinking, you would have to know the symptoms after 10 years.
21:42Aspyn Ovard:What It may have been that he was saying that he wasn't drinking at all because he was Mormon and maybe was drinking when he wasn't around her. I don't really know. But it's something that she has never affirmed. But she did allude to the fact that other people knew and she will never forgive those people that knew the 10-year secret and hid it from her because she felt like she was living a lie. Quick question. Why are sports bras so hard to shop for? They're either uncomfortable, hard to put on, tight, not supportive enough, or ugly. Well, no more. In late 2024, Aspen moves from Salt Lake City to Orange County and proceeds with the divorce. And she talks about, on Avery Wood's podcast, about how Utah is so, like, there just isn't a lot to do. And so she's like, you have to have the big McMansion with the pool and you have to have this extravagant, like, house.
25:56And in Orange County, she feels like she could pare down her life a little bit. and also have more to do and have more of a social life. So be on the lookout for Aspen. I know. Honestly, even if I have been around her once, I wouldn't have recognized her, but now I do. Now she's ingrained in my brain. So I'll be on the high alert. So in terms of the divorce in late 2024, again, she has not revealed the details. She denies it had anything to do with him being secretly gay, which a lot of people have speculated. but she has made TikToks about what she's looking for in her next relationship. She said, I know it seems like an obvious one, but imagine if they lied for 10 years or something.
26:35Imagine how crazy other traits listed include someone who has a job, financially tribute, and someone who didn't accuse her of cheating on them all the time. So insinuating that Parker, you know, was not financially contributing, which I feel like is so common for like not just influencer husbands, but like these Mormon husbands.
26:54Aspyn Ovard:Like we watch Secret Lives of Mormon and I was so funny how they're like obsessed with traditional gender roles. But then they let their wife make all the money. Right. That is a great, a great point. And I think of Shannon and Lames, how Lames pretends to have a six-figure business that he earns six figures a month. And it's like, give me a freaking break. I do think that the Mormon husbands, yeah, it's almost like they feel emasculated. I don't want to make sweeping generalizations. I'm talking about the show. The men on the show feel so emasculated. So then they lash out in like very unhealthy ways.
27:28They resent their wives. Yeah. Jordan and Jessie. Like, Jordan was so emotionally abusive to him. And say what you will about Jessie. I think she has her own kind of scandals going on right now. And she's a little bit thirsty because she's fresh out of her marriage or whatever, as she should be. But Jordan was horrible to her. The way he would talk to her. It's like, let's just not forget, Jordan, that you're the reason why you have such a nice life. Because, sorry, Jessie's the reason why you have such a nice life. Like, shut up.
27:50Aspyn Ovard:Exactly. It's so fucking inferior. But yeah, I think that so many of these husbands, they believe in the traditional gender roles. And then they feel emasculated that they make less money than their wives. And they end up being like stay-at-home dads. And then they end up like resenting their wives, even though their wives are the reason that they get to live these lavish lives. Yeah. Yeah. And I think of the only one who's supportive is Connor and Whitney is Connor, it's seen. Yeah, Connor. Absolutely. I was thinking for a second that you were talking about Macy's husband. And I was like, no, ew.
28:18Aspyn Ovard:Macy's husband also sucks. like all of the husbands suck except Connor yeah and I think he like tries to like hide behind the shadows of oh you know I'm no drama and I'm just kind of there and it's like no you're it's such a boys club and you will always side with Dakota when yeah when shit is hitting the fan yeah oh my all of them are weird I don't like I don't like any of those all of them are fucking weird and I also did you see that um the new season of Secret Lives and Mormon Lives they're apparently not going to feature the men at all good I saw like maybe it was Demois or Blind Item somewhere but was like, yeah, we heard you.
28:49Aspyn Ovard:Basically, the producers were like, we heard you. You hated dad talk. No, yeah. We're going to focus just on the women. It's like, good, thank you. Yeah, because you're just feeding their egos and they think they're just as important. Yes, and that was like so funny how universally panned dad talk. We were like, no, we actually, not a single person cares about these men. In fact, we actively hate them. They thought they were so cool being asked to go to Vanderpump Villa. It's like, first of all, who watched the episode? No one watches that show, sorry. Even though that was a huge part of season four.
29:17Aspyn Ovard:Your friend, Brooke, she was like, I've never watched Vanderpump Rules, but I do watch Vanderpump Villa. Wait, was it Brooke? Oh my God, was it Brooke or was it? It probably was. Brooke is, she - Wait, I could be mispeaking. I'm so sorry, Brooke. It was someone from last weekend who I was crying. It was like the only person on the planet who watches Vanderpump Villa but doesn't watch, that never watched Vanderpump Rules. Yeah, Vanderpump Villa, but we got some heat. Some kind of good. I know, but it was also like three people. We had like three people defend Vanderbilt Villa. But like, yeah, sure.
29:56Aspyn Ovard:And they were embarrassed. They were embarrassed. Yeah. Yeah. They were embarrassed. They were like, hey, so I'm going to come out of the shadows right now and admit that I actually have watched Vanderbilt Villa and I really like it. Oh, OK. That's your thing, I guess. OK. To each their own. Sure. Why not? But OK, back to Aspen. So since her divorce, she has been, again, it's kind of like this rebrand. She's all about the more comedic content on TikTok. She talks about how she'll do like a day in my life vlog on TikTok and it gets like very low engagement. And then she posts like a two second funny TikTok and that one blows up.
30:28Aspyn Ovard:So she's like people like the low effort shit on TikTok. And again, she's kind of been introduced to this new audience. And she's posted a lot about being in her divorce era and embracing her single life and taking the time to rediscover herself, which good for her. She got married at fucking 19 and had kids so young. That's dark in and of itself. She's like, you're still a little child. That's a sophomore in college. And she says that on Avery Woods' podcast. She says, you know, I was a legally consenting adult when I got married, but I also was a child. Right. Which is true. Like 19, you are a child.
31:02You are a teenager. She posted in October, 2024, friendly reminder that I got married at 19 to my first boyfriend ever. This is my first breakup ever. I've never had a chance to be crazy and who knows if I ever will again. So I'm going to take it and run with it for as long as I can to get it out of my system
31:19Aspyn Ovard:while rediscovering myself, who I am, what I like, and all the rest of it. If you're along for the ride and get it, I love you. If you aren't, these vids aren't for you and you're not fun. And honestly, like, I get it. I feel like, you know, we might be seeing this with like some of the Mormon wives too, like Jessie, for instance. It's like those women who got married so young, they never got to get it out of their system. And it's great that she has like the self-awareness to be like, I actually never got to have this phase where I got to discover myself and experiment and determine who I like and what sexuality I am even.
31:52You know who I'm thinking of is Kristen Cavallari. How she's being so, I mean, not that they're even the same, but like the fact that she got married so young and had kids in her early 20s. And she's talked about this. She's like, no, I had kids so young. I was a baby when me and Jay got together. A baby. And so we now have three kids. Me and Mark. Me and Mark. Mark was the craziest sex in my life. It was insane, guys. He was a baby, though, too. But I feel like she also kind of has a rest of development. One, because she got famous when she was very young. But two, because she had kids and she didn't get to live her early 20s.
32:28Yeah. Usually your 20s are kind of for living in a city and getting crazy and, you know, hooking up.
32:33Aspyn Ovard:Oh, absolutely. And honestly, I am so happy. I met my husband when I was 29. Like, honestly, like I had my entire 20. And, you know, at that time I was like, oh my God, like everyone is starting to settle down. Like, what am I doing? Like, I still haven't like, you know, found the one yet. And I was like approaching my late 20s. And so many people that I know, and you know, that works for some people. Like they get married to their high school sweetheart, college sweetheart. That would have never worked for me. It would not have worked for me. I've said that to people that, I don't know, I feel like some people that get married to their college sweetheart have like a superiority complex or whatever where they're like, oh, my God, I am so happy I didn't have to do the dating scene in my 20s.
33:19Aspyn Ovard:And it's like, no, I'm happy that I did. Like, yeah, sometimes it sucks, but like I got to get it out of my system. Yeah. No, we're going to have baby snorts being like, I met my husband when I was 22. Happy. And that's fine. And we love that for you. No, that works for some people. I'm saying personally that would not have worked for me. Yeah. Yeah, there's I actually know a couple of people from college who met their boyfriends in college and then they're nominated with kids and they're super fine and dandy. But no, I totally hear what you mean. I think that also we both lived in cities in our 20s and dating in a city is like a rite of passage.
33:51It's really is. No, it absolutely is. And I was like dating my college boyfriend like when I graduated and I moved to New York and he was living in a different city. So we were kind of doing long distance. And obviously that was never going to work. Like, I was like, you know what? I'm moving to New York. I am 22 years old. I need to fucking see what life is all about. And moral of the story is that some people don't get that experience and don't realize it until it's kind of too late. And it's good that she was like, you know what? I never got that. And now I'm going to get it out of my system.
34:24And then I can maybe be ready to settle down for good.
34:28Aspyn Ovard:And she actually has since revealed that she doesn't really believe in the concept of marriage. She said on the Weekly Trash Podcast with Josie Van Dyke that you just never know what life is going to throw at you. She felt like she couldn't commit to getting legally married again. I would have a long-term partner if I met someone, but to get legally married, I would never do it again. So again, the reasons for divorce, the rumors abound. Parker's gay. Parker was donating to the Mormon church. Parker had an inheritance. Parker had a secret relationship slash child. Blah, blah, blah. And then again, most of these rumors have been debunked by Aspen.
35:05Aspyn Ovard:But she has confirmed that she signed an NDA. So they have an NDA, which is why she has not been able to speak on the reasons of the divorce. That's so odd that you have an NDA for your marriage. That's really weird. That's like not, I mean, okay, Lala, Ken, like, what are you talking about? Yeah. So she liked a comment in October of 2024 speculating that, you know, this NDA was preventing her from speaking, which, you know, is basically a confirmation. And she also has confirmed that the 10-year secret has nothing to do with Mormonism, but it also is very Utah. So make of that what you will. Yeah.
35:39The only thing I think of when I think of Utah is Mormonism. So I think that the mission theory that you had at the beginning of the episode, that makes sense. Yes. And she says that the reason that she will never reveal the secret is because she wants to protect her children's relationship with her father. Yeah. Well, that's the right thing to do.
35:56Aspyn Ovard:But it's like, can you stop teasing it and just tell us? I'm sorry. Yeah, you're right. You're right. Again, I'm always going to bring it back to that girl who bought the$600 worth of shit clothing. It's like, name her. Name the influencer that sold you this. Name her. Like, why are you teasing it if you're not going to tell us? Then I just get annoyed. So it's kind of just like annoying. But like, I get why she's not sharing it. Because again, she wants to protect her children. Totally. But then just don't talk about it at all. You know? Like, it's annoying. And again, she was like, I, if this is a clue, I will absolutely never forgive the people who knew the whole time.
36:30Aspyn Ovard:These are people that I thought cared about me, people that I thought were my friends, people I considered family. And people speculated that it is about her, that she's talking about her ex-mother-in-law. I don't know. Apparently, Parker's mom posted in 2024, Mama Bear's coming out. Stay tuned. After some of the public chatter about the divorce. And then Aspen apparently replied to this by saying, she might be Mama Bear, but I am mother. Okay. Okay. Okay. At the same time, Aspen and Parker always seemed pretty amicable. So that was the other weird thing. It's like, okay, well, how bad could the secret be if you guys are still amicable?
37:06Aspyn Ovard:Yeah, right. Or maybe it's for the kids. I just don't understand. It's very, very, very bizarre. A relationship that I will never fully understand, obviously. Well, and I was going to say, if it's so amicable, then why out him in the first place? You would think in order to keep it amicable, you just do not speak on it. We got divorced. It's someone's business why we did. End of story. Yeah, that's interesting. I mean, maybe they've been able to get over it. First, it was tumultuous. She spilled that there was a 10-year secret, and then they've gotten over that, and that's why they're amicable now.
37:31But I don't know. Just don't speak about it. You're totally right. Exactly. So let's talk about Aspen's sexuality and her discovering herself. So she started to soft launch some fluidity in her sexuality in her sister Avery's comment, Avery, A-V-R-E-Y, around six months after the divorce.
37:51Aspyn Ovard:And so she, this TikTok says, when you've been out for years and now your newly divorced sister wants to date. And so again, kind of like hinting that she is trying to discover her sexuality or trying to come out. In December 2024, her TikTok said, she posted a TikTok that said, so many people struggle with their sexuality for like many different reasons. I've always been told I can love whoever I want and be whoever I want. And so I've always known that at this point in my life, I'm not confused about my sexuality. I'm more confused about straight people because I'm like, how do you guys not want to hook up with girls?
38:25Like, I don't understand that. So it sounds like she is trying to, she's wringling with the idea very publicly at this point. On a May 2025 episode of For the Girls with Becca Moore, she described her first intimate experience with a woman as comfortable and exciting. She said, I went to this Halloween party and I was like dressed up as a bride. It was an ironic costume. I was wearing my wedding ring. I got back from the party and she came over and I was still wearing the costume and we were like sitting on my couch. I was in Utah. I was like sitting there like, OK, we're going to kiss. And I was like, wait, I'm going to take off my wedding ring and then I'm going to kiss you.
38:58It was funny because I was dressed as a bride. I still don't get why the bride thing is like that funny. Yeah, I know. She clarified that she had kissed someone else prior to this interaction, but it wasn't the same. Kissed another woman. She noted that this experience after the Halloween party, which she later revealed, occurred after filming an episode of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Season 2, which I did not realize that she was on Secret Lives of Mormon Wives in Utah. Maybe she was edited out. Yeah, because of Season 2, OC hasn't even filmed it yet. So yeah. Yeah, yeah. It was Utah. What?
39:26Aspyn Ovard:Yeah. It sounds like she is very friendly with the Utah wives. Okay. Okay. In the influencer world, in the Utah world. But she considers this to be her first romantic moment with a woman. She's used the labels bisexual and queer interchangeably to describe herself and has rejected hard labeling. And she actually doesn't use the word throuple to describe her relationship with Brie Davis, who she is in a relationship with, confirmed in March 2026. And Brie is married to her husband, Billy. Oh, wow. Okay, so Brie is married to a man. Yes. And she's also dating Aspen O 'Farr, who's obviously a woman.
40:00Aspyn Ovard:Yes, but Aspen has not used the word throuple to describe this relationship. So it's kind of like, maybe it's like polyamory. She has said of the relationship, when I met Brie and she was married, it didn't really mean that much to me. We can do our thing and I'm not looking for certain things and she's not either. And she has kind of made it clear. She's like, I don't want to get married again. Like I, you know, maybe she's just looking for companionship or long-term companionship. but it doesn't sound like she is necessarily looking for a long-term monogamous relationship, maybe. She said the structure of it is as normal of a dynamic you can get, considering the fact that it is three people instead of two.
40:38I don't know any other lifestyle influencers that are in a type of relationship like this. Yeah, I can't think of any either. I refer to Brie as my girlfriend. It's not just that the word doesn't fit, but I definitely think of them as partners. Labels are just like that. Such an internet. Labels are just like such an internet thing. So Brie is her girlfriend, but she doesn't feel like totally comfortable with that label. Yeah, more of her partner. And I think that she also sees Billy as her partner, too. Yeah, this is so fascinating to me. I just I'm not judging it. I'm just not familiar with how open marriages or an open marriage with a specific other person to join.
41:19It's just like it's fascinating to me. um and and what's also interesting is like yeah what's her what is Aspen's relationship with the husband if she identifies as queer and you said bisexual too right right does that mean she's also
41:33Aspyn Ovard:into Billy the husband as well I would I would assume so yeah okay it's it's an interesting dynamic it does kind of seem like a throuple situation yeah so she's in a relationship with both of the people but I think Brie is like the main one that relationship with I really don't know like I don't and this is no judgment I just it's dynamic that like I just don't fully understand um same and also like how do you not get like jealous oh my god three people I feel like there it would just breed like like jealous a weird like competitive dynamic or a jealous dynamic I don't know but it clearly works for some people and it clearly works for them I mean she seems happy but it's been speculated whether this relationship is genuine or it's all for clicks People have said, you know, with this new Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Orange County show coming out, is she trying to do the Taylor Frankie Paul thing and try to be the main character and have the show centered around her because of this, you know, dynamic that she has?
42:31People have also said that Brie in Aspen's content does not seem very nice. Someone, Frog Trio on Aspen's Stark subreddit said, Brie seems super patronizing. It seems like she's negging her. There was a story where Aspen used some word. I don't know. I don't remember what it was. and Brie afterwards said to the camera, we're working on not using that word. It was the word hate or something stupid. The way she spoke was so condescending. She is unbelievably unlikable and uncharismatic. So you would think if a relationship is just for clicks or clout,
43:01Aspyn Ovard:she would pick someone charismatic or likable. Right, right. Another interesting speculative comment on Reddit, Panda Jade said, Aspen and Parker had a third baby girl, yet Aspen filed for divorce on April 1st and it got leaked. they were divorced and she was like I'm so demure and mindful not talking about it just to talk about it and trash talk Parker then proceeded to grind on him talk shit on her mother-in-law and ask him for a fourth baby despite saying Parker had some 10-year secret or something awful so she's dramatic still and gay now and in a throuple with a married woman so it's like what like you're trashing your people are basically saying you're trashing your ex-husband and saying that it's his fault that you guys got divorced, but then you immediately came out and got in a throuple.
43:47Were you struggling with your sexuality? And also, why were you asking for a fourth baby after filing for divorce? It just seems very, very messy. And it seems like publicly she is saying he's the one who's responsible for the downfall of their marriage. Well, at the same time, it's like, but then you leave the marriage to be with a woman. So were you also contributing to the demise of your relationship because you were struggling with your sexuality, coupled with the fact that he had this 10-year secret that betrayed you. Yeah. It just sounds like this might have been like a two, like many things.
44:16There's two sides to every story. And obviously from her POV, she's publicly denouncing him and saying he's this big fat liar. Right. While at the same time, she enters into this throuple and is now identifying as bisexual, which is fine. It's just like this seems very messy.
44:30Aspyn Ovard:Yes. And that's perfectly okay if she was struggling with her sexuality and that was the reason for the divorce. Right. But it's the fact that she was like she was insinuating that it was all Parker's fault. And it was that Parker harbored a 10 year secret, which sounds really, really, really bad, even though we don't know what the secret is. And it's even worse because she's not clarifying what that secret is. So our minds go to the worst possible scenario. Was he gay the entire time? Did he have a drinking problem? Did he was their marriage based on just a foundational lie? Like, we just don't know.
45:00So our minds are going to go crazy.
45:02Aspyn Ovard:Exactly. And people are also like, well, you say you are trying to protect your kids, which by all accounts she is because she does not share them on social media, which is way more than 99.9 % of these influencer momfluencers can say. But people are like, but you're extremely messy online from, you know, trashing the father of your children to whatever you're doing now. Eula Fargo on Reddit said, at first I supported Aspen, but now this has gotten out of hand and it's pretty nasty. Her priorities have completely changed. And it seems as though what she's doing now will affect her kids way more than that divorce.
45:38She definitely needs to focus on her three baby girls now more than whatever she's doing in her personal life. Not to completely bash her, but please share your thoughts. I miss the old Aspen so much.
45:47Aspyn Ovard:So, again, I feel like her rebrand has just been jarring for her fans where it's like she went from having this very, like, buttoned up, you know, perfect life, which is, you know, clearly wasn't perfect. And now she's kind of this overshare about her personal life and the throuple that she's in and all of this stuff that people are like, what is going on? Like, it's so strange how she's changed. And I think her OG fans probably are not super happy with it. But again, she has a totally new audience now because of this rebrand. Right. She has like a very, very different aesthetic visually and like lifestyle wise in terms of like her.
46:26She's no longer presenting this like wholesome family doing this, like all these trips and stuff like that. And I find that's often the case with a lot of influencers where as influencers become more and more famous, they become what people deem unrelatable. And like, this isn't the reason why we followed you. I think about the Girls Gotta Eat podcast that I started following in like 2019 or something. and then most recently I haven't listened to them probably over a year and it's not because I found them unrelatable I just wasn't connecting with the podcast in the ways that I used to and that's fine but I feel like OG listeners or OG followers often feel betrayed because of the huge parasocial relationship that they share with their favorite influencer yeah and you're almost like wait I used to follow you because of this family wholesome content and now it's a complete 180 and I feel betrayed.
47:12People are allowed to evolve. Aspen is allowed to evolve. But also people feel very like they're losing a friend almost. Yeah. You know, and that's kind of maybe not to the extent, but when I stopped relating to Girls Gotta Eat, I was like, this was kind of like a comfort listen. But yeah, now you guys have just kind of changed up the content, which is fine. You're allowed to, but it does feel a little bit like a slight betrayal in a really weird way.
47:37Aspyn Ovard:Yeah. It's weird and I'm guilty of it too. No, I'm, you know who I'm thinking of? My favorite Emma Leger. My favorite. It's like her like engagement bridal era, getting engaged to this guy that she's known for like five minutes. It's like giving me the ick with her and it's sad because she used to be my favorite. Now I'm like, I just, I can't, I can't relate to whatever manic episode you're happening right now. No, I know. And it's like, you still want to hold on tight because you did identify with a lot of content. You enjoyed a lot of her content, but at the same time, it's like this switch up just doesn't feel I'm not connected to this isn't you yeah this isn't you yeah exactly and no it's so true because again like we're all speculating on you don't know these people like we don't know these people we are fully aware how this is a hundred percent but they these influencers and creators make money from their fans feeling parasocial towards them and what's interesting about Aspen in particular is that she is really good at influencing she's done it again for 16 years now, which is insane.
48:37Aspyn Ovard:But she also seems to resent it. And she complains about like the speculation. And so she wants privacy. And then she also like teases thing like the 10-year secret. And I don't know. It's like she oscillates between baiting her followers and also complaining about speculation and wanting privacy. It's just, it's very, she seems to maybe like resent the platform that she has built in a way, which is interesting. And she probably resents the people that follow her from her not consciously yeah like she's a mean person who resents her followers she probably resents that people resent her for switching it up i imagine like this is me now grow with me or lee you know that from her pov i'm just projecting but um it's almost like this this tug between her and her followers like she wants to be herself her followers aren't letting her she gets annoyed i don't know that just sounds very exhausting to kind of like people resenting you for being yourself.
49:30Aspyn Ovard:Yeah. And it's, exactly. Like, she feels like her OG followers resent her for being herself and then she resents them in return. Yeah. It's a very unhealthy dynamic for people you really don't know at the end of the day. Exactly. Exactly. It's like we, no one actually knows her except the people that know her in real life, obviously. Like, you may think you do, but you don't. You think you know, but you have no idea. This is the Diary of Britney Spears. Yeah, wait, what show was that? It was Diary of on MTV. and they would follow them. Yeah, it was like a documentary type thing. I think it was like an hour and you would watch behind the scenes.
50:05You think you know, but you have no idea. Yeah, this is the diary of Britney Spears. Oh my God, they need to bring back diary. They need to bring back so many shows. VH1 particularly. Yeah, oh, RIP. I unfortunately have had very bad shaving experiences from red bumps and ingrown hairs to cuts and razor burn. But just because I'm a hairy Jewish girl does not mean I have to settle for a horrible shaving experience. And as soon as I discovered Flamingo, I realized I don't have to suffer any longer. Seriously, I've been a fan of Flamingo since before they became a podcast sponsor. With Flamingo, my leg shaving experience is smooth, gentle, and luxurious, not bumpy, rough, and painful.
50:41Also, the shave is so close. I used to immediately feel stubble after getting out of the shower. Literally, I'm not exaggerating. It was immediate. And now, just silky smoothness. Flamingo razors feel like they're working with my body and the contours of my legs instead of against them. and it makes all the difference. Finally, shaving is a ritual I enjoy rather than dread. The best part about Flamingo, these razors are made for women by women. These aren't men's razors made pink. They're specifically designed for girlies like us to be able to easily grip and use. Their starter set has everything you could possibly need.
51:14Flamingo's original razor, a facial dermaplane razor, my personal favorite, foaming shave gel, and a shower holder. All for just$7 if you're a baby snark. Yes, you heard that right. And shipping is free. This is not a drill. For a limited time, our listeners can get the Flamingo's starter set for only$7 at shopflamingo.com slash snark. The set includes the Flamingo Original Razor, one five-blade cartridge, a one-ounce foaming shave gel, and a shower holder. Just head to shopflamingo.com slash snark to claim this offer. And after you purchase, they'll ask where you heard about them. Please support our show and tell them we sent you.
51:46Even though I spend a lot of time on the internet, with my house being renovated, all I want to do lately is be outside. whether it's strolling on the beach or walking Hank. And of course, I feel like I kind of need a new wardrobe for my new outdoorsy persona without having to break the bank. That's why I love Fabletics. I joined Fabletics as a VIP and it's completely changed how I shop. I actually recently ordered the Principal built-in broad tank in the shade almond milk and I paired it with the same matching set for the leggings. It's called the Oasis Pure Lux high-waisted legging in that same color.
52:15It is honestly so stretchy, makes my boobs look perky and is one of my favorite sets that I own today. I actually was at Legree the other day and someone was like, wait, that's such a cute matching set. And I was like, thanks, it's Fabletics. Being a Fabletics VIP means I get 70 to 80 % off everything. It's so easy to grab new, high quality activewear sets and loungewear without overthinking or overpaying. 55:00Protect yourself now at aura.com slash remove. So let's talk about Aspen joining Secret Lives of Mormon Wives colon Orange County,
55:08Aspyn Ovard:despite previously bowing that she would never do reality TV and also was never a practicing Mormon. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's so funny. Again, we've talked about this before. This needs to be secret lives of influencers. Yeah, it's like, why are we trying to shoehorn the Mormon? I get that it's like a franchise, but it also could be secret lives of influencer wives or secret lives of Orange County wives. Like it doesn't need to be Mormon. Like none of them are Mormon, it seems like. I think maybe, okay, so we have Avery Wood, Bobby Althoff, Salome Andrea, McCall Dupron, and I think McCall is Macy's sister from the Utah version.
55:47Aspyn Ovard:So I think that Macy and McCall grew up Mormon. Chandler Higginson, Ashley Pease, and Madison Bontempo. The only ones I know are Aspen, Avery, and Bob. And I know that the three of them are not Mormon. So I don't know if the other ones are all Mormon or like, I really don't know. And then Jen Affleck is expected to cross over, which please save it. Yeah. I'm so sick of her. Remember how juiced her and what's his name? The one with the white hair? Her husband. Her husband. Zach. They were like, we love LA. We can't wait to move out here. Like they were so obsessed with Callie. Callie. It makes complete sense after having watched this last season why they have like a desire to move out here.
56:33I don't care to see Jen Affleck and Zach Affleck on my screen. They're just, they're such producer plants to me.
56:40Aspyn Ovard:They're insufferable. Yeah, and I feel like they just go in the direction that brings the most, I shouldn't say they. I think Zach is actually, he was really problematic in the earlier seasons. I think he's less problematic now, probably because he knows there's a camera in his face 24-7 and he can't be his true self. but Jen just seems like she creates drama just so she can get more screen time she doesn't seem very I don't know like organic to me yeah yeah if that makes sense no I think her mental health struggles that she portrayed last season were totally real but now it's more like okay I was off last season let's bring it baby it's also just like at this point like Zach is the problem but also Jen is too yeah like not in her relationship but in terms of her relationship with the women, she is just as much of a, like, Zach loves to, I feel like, triangulate her and, like, isolate her from the women, but also she sucks too.
57:31Right. Zach is always like, you know, I really don't like it. Yeah. And these women gang up on, like, he always tries to tell her, like, don't be friends with these girls.
57:39Aspyn Ovard:Yeah. And like you said, he tries to isolate her constantly and then she victimizes herself, I think, a lot. she has, like, such a victim complex. Yeah. Oh my God. I just, like, can't stand either of them. No, I know. So, TB, I mean, I'm gonna end up watching it oh I mean are you kidding yeah I will see that yeah they um already filmed in uh late April 2026 they were seen filming in Huntington Beach and Newport I know Newport Beach is like close to you where's Huntington Beach very close to Newport like Sarah is lives in Newport Huntington is just like four miles down okay yeah it's very close it's expected to premiere later this year and in an April 23rd 2026 Q &A Aston admitted there's probably multiple Q &As on my YouTube channel over the years of me saying that I would never do reality TV, but here we are.
58:24Aspyn Ovard:When I got approached to do the Orange County version, I was so excited, but I was also very hesitant. She added that. Sure, Jen. Yeah, it's like, what? She added that recent years have been difficult and that she felt like she was in hiding. And she said, I am the biggest fan of the Utah show. So she was hesitant, apparently, allegedly, but she was also excited. And she has also talked about, like, she is a single mom now. and has always been the breadwinner. So at the end of the day, we got to figure out how to keep it moving, how to keep it going. So it sounds like doing the show had financial benefits for her too, which is, it's funny also because Avery Woods, remember the recent drama with Avery Woods that someone was like, well, she's got to pay for a new house somehow.
59:08Aspyn Ovard:So she has to do reality TV. And Avery got so offended by the idea that she was like, you know, struggling for money so much that she had to resort to reality TV. And she was like, I am not struggling for money. Like, she got so offended. And then the girl that commented that, she, like, doxxed her. And then she DM'd her that she reached out to her university that was in her bio. She reached out to this girl. Avery reached out to this girl that DM'd her. And was like, just so you know, your student is cyberbullying me. And the comment wasn't even bad at all. I think I did hear about this. This is, like, just a couple weeks ago.
59:42Yeah, this is recent, right?
59:43Aspyn Ovard:But it's so funny that Aspen is like, yeah, I mean, I need to put bread on the table. And meanwhile, Avery is like, I don't need the money. I'm doing this for fun. And it's like, I don't think it's bad to say that, hey, reality TV. And also, like, it's not just the money from reality TV. It's the exposure that will eventually get you more money as an influencer. Duh. I was literally going to say that. There's nothing wrong with that. Like, Avery Woods is insufferable. I heard, I was actually talking to a girlfriend about this yesterday. And she was saying that Dr. Moon from, not Orange County Housewives, not Shannon's holistic doctor, from Dallas, said that when she was on Housewives of Dallas, she's like, listen, the glam and everything that you need to do to be on TV, it actually ends up being a loss.
1:00:22But the exposure to your point is what brings you more money. It's not the actual show and the salary that you get on the show because it ends up being a complete loss with all the expenses that you're incurring. But yeah, Avery, come on. You want to have exposure. Like, let's not kid ourselves. Anyone would want to have this exposure. This franchise is one of the biggest reality shows in the entire world. You would be silly to not take that opportunity if given to gain exposure. It's just like, what are you trying to prove here?
1:00:50Aspyn Ovard:Avery is so insufferable. I can't stand her. And it's not a big deal to want to get more money. No, it's not. Embrace that. Embrace it. Yeah, you got this amazing opportunity. You're an influencer. What, did you want to get more exposure? Of course. Like, shut up. So annoying. No, yeah. But Aspen has also talked about, you know, even though she's not a practicing Mormon, She says that she has been heavily shaped by Mormon culture, which I think is her trying to say, hey, I do belong in the Mormon Wives Show. She said being married at 19, having babies young, not even just that, but I swear there are just so many things.
1:01:21Aspyn Ovard:The culture that you grew up in really does shape you in so many ways, whether you want it or not. So again, even though she's not practicing, she's like, I was shaped by this. So maybe that's part of it, even though, again, Bobby Althoff and Avery Woods, I don't think have had any connection to Mormonism that I know of. Could be wrong. I don't know. Feel free to correct me. I just, I don't understand. Just change the freaking franchise name. Just change the franchise name. Secret Lives of Blank Wives. Right. And also you wouldn't have to do. I'm tapping no matter what. Yeah, exactly. You wouldn't have to do the colon Orange County.
1:01:49Aspyn Ovard:You know, you could just say Secret Lives of Blank Wives. Change the, change the, you know. Of, yeah, the adjective. The adjective. Yeah. Descriptor. Right. So Aspen has also had some interesting, some of the, I don't know if criticism is the right word. Some of the snark that she gets is that she does not maintain friendships. In her early career, she was constantly collaborating with influencers Bethany Moda, Lauren Elizabeth. Lauren Elizabeth, isn't that? We've talked about her before. Yeah, yeah, yeah. She's Chicago-based? Yes, yes. She used to have a clothing line. And when I used to be a toaster, she was like under their network.
1:02:29And when I went to Caitlin Bristow's show, Caitlin Bristow had her as a guest.
1:02:33Aspyn Ovard:Interesting. Yeah. Also, Claudia Soliski. Am I saying that right? Yeah. And other 2010s, like, beauty guru-era YouTubers. And fans notice that the group does not hang out anymore. They'll occasionally do podcast episodes together, but it seems like it was maybe like a transactional friendship thing. She has alluded to feeling alone post-divorce and having been in a living hell. She says it's just so hard to literally have no one, have no community at all. My family's not around. It's my baby's birthday in two weeks, and there's literally just nobody. Like, if she's going to have a birthday party, there's no one.
1:03:05So it seems like she is very open about not really having friends.
1:03:08Aspyn Ovard:But her new circle involves this Secret Lives cast, Brie Davis, obviously Avery Woods, her sister Avery. So, yeah. Avery Woods is the one who talked with Harry Jowsey about Jesus. About Jesus, yeah. We did an Avery Woods episode a couple months ago. We did a whole deep dive on Avery Woods. She is so annoying. Yeah. She hides her own house now. Yeah, with her slow walks. Her slow walking. And she's the one who Emily Kaiser and her used to be besties? Yes, used to be besties and are no longer. And then some recent drama that she's been in is that she apparently has like a neighbor drama. One of her neighbors said that, came out on TikTok and said that she sucks as a neighbor because her house.
1:03:54Aspyn Ovard:Okay, I don't really understand this setup, but her house faces a regular public street. However, she is a corner lot. There is an alley on two sides of her house. if she parks in the alley, cars cannot pass through. And this neighbor says that she has done it so much and she does it constantly, even after other neighbors have complained. And that this neighbor was nine months pregnant and couldn't leave her house because Aspen was parked in the alley, getting her weekly car detail and was constantly just blocking the way for her neighbors. That's really, really annoying and inconsiderate, honestly.
1:04:24Aspyn Ovard:So that is the latest Aspen drama. But otherwise, that's about it. I guess we're going to see what comes out with this new secret live show. But yeah, this was as much a lesson on Aspen Ovard for me as it was for hopefully all of you guys. And again, for the Aspen Ovard scholars out there, please let us know if there's anything that we may have missed. Yeah. What did we miss? Yeah. What did we miss? Because I know that there's a lot and she's a very active star community. But yeah, I feel like these are the top line highlights. And yeah. What do you think, Christy? You did a really, really good job.
1:05:00I actually am more excited now to watch OC, Secret Lives, because I know more about her. And no, I'm actually, I'm really excited. I can't wait for it to air. And hopefully I see some of them walking around, walking around town. I haven't seen any filming yet, but.
1:05:15Aspyn Ovard:Yeah, you need to be on the lookout. This is your stomping grounds. I feel like they didn't ask you. What? No, but it's a problem. Don't even get me started on Real Housewives of Orange County, though. Don't get me started on that show. Oh my God, I didn't even watch this season. No, the past couple seasons have been very good, but Gina and Emily need to go. Gina and Emily need to go. Gina and Emily have been the downfall of that show. I don't want to see those women on my screen ever again. They don't have aspirational wealth, okay? Yeah, they're not aspirational at all. They're tacky, and Emily is literally a racist, and she's mean.
1:05:47I don't like her.
1:05:48Aspyn Ovard:Yeah, and remember how it took Shane like 20 tries to pass the bar? I still don't think he's passed, just so we're clear. You think that he lied about passing? Oh, did he say he eventually passed? Okay, I'm sure I am spreading rumors. I thought he did. I thought he did. No, you're probably right. I just, I don't, I don't like her. And I want Gina and Emily off my screens in the way that they treated Katie, Janela, our queen. Not right. So, no, thanks so much for walking us through this. And I'm just looking at our calendar to see what we got in the pipeline. Oh, so yesterday on Patreon, I did a little interview with Sophie myself.
1:06:24I wrote down some of these like deep kind of like thoughtful. I know.
1:06:27Aspyn Ovard:I was thinking that they would be like fun pop culture questions. And they were like existential questions. Like that's how I like to get though. Existential. Yeah. It's like they're very deep. Like questions like what events shaped you in your life? God. Where were you at a crossroads in your life? Like it's very deep. So if you want to learn more about Sophie. My sister texted me last night just with Sophie. Question mark. She loves to text me that question. because she thinks it's so funny that Carl, like, recognizes her for a package claim. Sophie? Sophie? Carl is so freaking nice. You guys, I notice this on the show that whenever he sees someone, he addresses them by name.
1:07:03Aspyn Ovard:He's always like, Bailey, good to see you. Levi. Like, he always addresses people. I think it's, like, a conscious thing that he learned. It's, like, to be polite. And that's why every time I've seen him, he's like, Sophie? I think that's why. Like, he literally, it's something that he does to be polite, which is, like, really nice. Yeah, he just, he has, like, very, like, good energy recently. It radiates. And I know that, listen, I used to be the biggest Carl hater. Like, he triggered me the most out of anyone on Bravo. I was like, he's worse than Jax. Obviously, I was being facetious. Honestly, at one point, he may have been when he was screaming at Jules.
1:07:38Yes, yes. Like, I was like, I do not like Carl. Now I'm like, dude, it was totally the drugs and the alcohol that he was using. Yeah, yep. And he just radiates, like, kind of just, he's trying his best.
1:07:47Aspyn Ovard:He's trying his best. He is softer now. And we have to commend him, a man that looks inward and does try to make really huge pivotal changes in their life, especially at an older age. Not that he's old, but like in their mid, in their 30s. Middle ages, yeah. Men are like, they're really stubborn. So you have to commend that. So you know what? I take it all back. I have horrible discernment because here I was telling Sophie I wanted to queen out with Wes just a mere month ago. Yep, yep. So I will always remember that. Yeah, I will. I always remember that. I always got bad vibes from West. Anyway, wow.
1:08:20Aspyn Ovard:Okay. Sorry, guys. That was a pivot. But hope you enjoyed this episode. And as always, we have links in our show notes. 1:09:00Aspyn Ovard:Sorry. I was looking at the calendar. I was not. In our show notes. Yeah. So we will see you guys when we see you. Bye. Bye.
