In short

Bella Thorne’s “snark” through her early exploitation, career pivots, and major controversies, especially her OnlyFans launch and other alleged on-set abuses.

Guests

Sophie and Christy are the hosts of Starkbait. No guest bios are provided beyond their personal anecdotes (golf clinic, trips, live show dates).

Key claims

  • Thorne was pushed into modeling at six weeks old by her mother, Tamara Thorne, and faced sexual abuse (ages 6–14) and bullying (dyslexia; speaking Spanish).
  • Her breakthrough role was Shake It Up (with Zendaya), and she later alleged Disney-era body policing at age 14.
  • She accused Mickey Rourke of bruising her genitals during Girl (2010) filming.
  • OnlyFans controversy: joined Aug 24, 2020; made $1M in 24 hours; sold $200 PPV that was lingerie-like; refunds led to OnlyFans policy changes that creators say harmed sex workers (PPV/tips caps; delayed payouts).
  • Her family’s finances were allegedly mismanaged; she reportedly had only $200 after Disney.

Notable examples

  • Shake It Up (Cece Jones), Famous and Love, The Masked Singer (as Swan).
  • Pornhub short Her and Him (directorial debut).

1:15Snark Bait Hosts:Hey, everybody. Welcome back to Starkbait. I'm Sophie. I'm Christy. Morning. Morning. How is it going, Soph? Uh, it's good. I feel like, you know, it's just another day living the dream, you know? I know you are up bright and early at 6 a.m. your time. Yeah. So how are you doing? This week has been really stressful. I'm going to be honest, but one of my best friends, she lives up in the Bay. She's going to come and see me and my other friend. And we signed up for this golf clinic, this like women's golf clinic. Yeah. Not my idea. This would never have been my idea, just so we're very clear. My friend Sarah was like, we should do a golf clinic.

1:57She's like, do you guys want to do it? And it was like 70 bucks. I was like, okay, they provide you with the clubs. You just show up. You hit some balls, as the boys like to say. Yeah. So that'll be fun. And my friend who's visiting, she's going through a breakup of a guy she was with for a really long time. So we're just trying to rally around her. So we just encourage her, just come down for the weekend. And we're thinking of maybe even doing a bonfire a couple weeks back. Like another friend of mine, she's going through like a really tumultuous time in her relationship, her marriage. So we decided to burn a couple things like in the bonfire.

2:30Oh, I love that. It was a really healing process. There was like four or five of us. We did it on a random Tuesday, literally. I just like right after work, I went over to Corona Del Mar. We went to the bonfire, set it up, had some sandwiches. And it was a very cathartic experience for the girlfriend of mine. Like she started crying. Like it just felt very releasing because, yeah, she's been really going through it. It's crazy because when you look at her, you think there is nothing wrong. She's in the perfect relationship, perfect family, when in fact it's like so much is going on behind the scenes.

3:00So the one thing we can do is just rally around her. And so we advise my other friend, Angie, who's coming down. We're like, hey, that bonfire was really beneficial. Do you want to do it for your thing? So I think we're going to do that.

3:10Snark Bait Hosts:I love that. My dream date. Cute. Cute. Sandwiches and a, you know, witchy bonfire. Absolutely. I need to come more prepared because last time I didn't bring anything. Did you? Wait, did you watch Are You Afraid of the Dark? Of course. My favorite show growing up. Honestly, one of my favorite shows to this day. You can watch all the episodes on YouTube and I think Prime. You should bring like a bag of like sand and dust or whatever that you throw in the fire and then it lights up. Oh my gosh. It's kind of giving traitors. Yeah. Kind of giving traitors at the final roundtable. Yeah. What are you up to this next couple of days we're recording on April 9th, Thursday?

3:49Snark Bait Hosts:Oh, my God. Like, literally nothing. We are going to Philly next weekend for my father-in-law's birthday. So that'll be nice. But otherwise, just hanging out for the next few weeks, I think. You know, just chilling out before we have our first live show. Which, by the way, you guys, that is coming up May 15th. So excited. in LA. And we also have a New York and Chicago date in case you missed it. And tickets to those are on X1Entertainment.com slash snarkbait, also in our show notes. I guess let's, should we jump in? Yes. I am very excited. If you guys haven't already seen, we're going through Bella Thorne.

4:32Sophie did all of her diligence and research to take us through today. And the reason we kind of got inspired to do Bella was because we did Tana. Yeah. And we're like, oh, Bella would be interesting because she was kind of an icon in 2018, 2019. Yes, she was. And she has a lot of interesting lore.

4:46Snark Bait Hosts:I actually have a lot of complicated feelings about her. I have a lot of sympathy for her. I think that she has been through a lot. There are so many career pivots that she takes where she tries to reinvent herself and regain control. And she also had a really traumatic upbringing and then also dealt with predatory behavior during her early days in Hollywood. and she just has, you know, a very, very, very interesting life, I would say. So I am excited to, oh, I'm excited to walk you through this. I don't know where you went. Oh, okay. My window closed for some reason, but hi. Yeah, I can kind of glitch for a second.

5:26Snark Bait Hosts:That's showbiz, baby. Keep that in. That is showbiz, baby. Okay, but we're back. Let's hop in. I guess, top line, what are your thoughts on Bella Thorne before we jump in? Every time I think of Bella Thorne, that song that she released. Oh my god. I don't even know. Blindspot? It's okay. It's like I don't know why I know about it. It's kind of embarrassing but that is really the only thing I know about her. I know she was on Nickelodeon. I know she used to be friends with Zendaya. I don't know if they still are friends. I know that she obviously rose into a different stratosphere when she started to date Scott Disick straight out of his relationship with Kourtney Kardashian and that was kind of the first time we saw Scott publicly messing around with a much younger woman.

6:06Yeah. First of that's kind of it. I see her as there's like this generation of YouTubers, this generation of TikTokers, normal movie star celebrities. But I feel like Bella doesn't really fall into any one category. Yeah. Like what category is she? It's like, yeah, it's influencer, actress, director,

6:30Snark Bait Hosts:singer, mogul. Like she has, you know, like I said, pivoted so many times in her career. I think that she tries to reinvent herself a lot, which we will, you know, discuss. But she was born Annabella Avery Thorne, October 8th, 1997. So she is 28. She is originally from Florida. And her heritage is actually Cuban and Italian on her father's side, Irish, English, German, Welsh on her mother's. And Spanish was her first language, but she's since forgotten it from not using it enough. And she's actually naturally blonde and dyes her hair. And this is where, you know, I think everything kind of went wrong or right for Bella, depending on your perspective.

7:09Snark Bait Hosts:She started working at six weeks old. Her mom, Tamara Thorne, got her photographed at six weeks old and sent them to modeling agencies, which is obviously very bizarre. Yeah, it of course reminds me of Mary Kay and Ashley's mom that shoved them into the limelight for full house to earn a buck. And it was so beneficial for TV shows to hire twins because they could use them interchangeably without disrupting child labor laws. But six weeks old, you're not even allowed to adopt a puppy until eight weeks. Like, what are you talking about? You're postpartum and the first thing you think of is to shove her into a modeling agency.

7:45Snark Bait Hosts:Very disturbing. She actually did an entire pictorial for Parents Magazine at this time. She was six weeks old. And then before kindergarten, she'd appeared in campaigns for Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren, Guess, Target, and Barbie, shot over 40 commercials. So she was a working girl before age five. I know, it's just, it's disturbing. I think her mom is a very disturbed individual. She tragically lost her father at age nine. Her father, Delancey Ray Thorne, died on April 15th, 2007, in a motorcycle accident in Florida. He was only 44. And he had actually moved the family to California about a year before his death to help support Bella's acting career.

8:29Snark Bait Hosts:And also the other siblings, which we will get to, are thrown into the limelight as well by their stage mom, Tamara. And she was left a single mother with four children and massive debt. And the family survived on food stamps and Stouffer's coupons. Bella has a reel that she was actually sexually abused from ages 6 to 14. and she says it was by someone she was raised with but doesn't identify exactly who. You could maybe assume that it was someone that her mother was involved with, maybe a boyfriend. It's, I don't know. So before the age of 14, she was working as a model, not against her will.

9:06Her father has died and she's also been molested by someone. Yes. Okay. This is horrible.

9:12Snark Bait Hosts:Yep. And yeah, she described developing Stockholm Syndrome. And again, has never publicly named her abuser, but she actually wrote a couple of poems about this in her poetry book that she released, I believe, in 2019. I will, we will get to that. But she releases a poetry book at some point, and it is very interesting to say the least and very revealing. She was actually diagnosed with dyslexia in first grade and was bullied for it, as well as for speaking Spanish. So I wonder if this is what made her discontinue speaking Spanish because she was bullied and ashamed of it. I'm sure. Also, the poetry book was published in 2019.

9:53And yes, I would not be surprised at all. Kids are so mean in elementary school. And if you have a twinge of an accent, I can't even imagine the type of bullying that would ensue.

10:02Snark Bait Hosts:Yeah, exactly. I mean, it was her first language. The fact that she, you know, was bullied for it that, you know, tracks with why she probably decided to stop speaking it. And she was eventually homeschooled, actually. So in terms of her early career, she had some early roles on TV. There was a series called Dirty Sexy Money where she played a role called Margot Darling at age 10 years old. She played Ruthie Spivy in the drama series My Own Worst Enemy around 12. She also had a small role in Big Love in 2010 and then landed Shake It Up in 2010, which changed everything. Did you ever watch Shake It Up with Zendaya and Bella Thorne?

10:43Snark Bait Hosts:I didn't. I think I definitely aged out at this point. Did you? I wasn't a Nickelodeon girl either. Oh, I was like a huge Disney. I watched Hannah Montana, Suite Life of Zack and Cody, all of those. But by 2010, I was going off to college. So I think it was just a little... I aged out of Disney at that point. But if I had been a few years younger, I definitely would have. But landing this role actually saved her family from homelessness. consciousness she revealed via a refiner 29 podcast that she auditioned for shake it up to help her mom she said we were about to live physically on the street if i didn't have that role we were living off of stouffer's coupons and that's all we had to eat every day she added that may not sound like a big deal to everybody it does sound like a big deal but when you're a single mom raising four kids with debt and you have nothing to your name it's fucking shitty and there was also a blind item in 2012 saying that Bella, who at the time must have been around.

11:37Snark Bait Hosts:Yeah. So she's, she was born in 1997. 1997. So like a teenager. Underage. Underage, basically. She was 15. 15. Yeah. I was going to say 15 or 16. She was underage. She, there was a blind item on Lipstick alley that she was sleeping with a producer to keep her job and by sleeping with a producer getting you know taken advantage of getting potentially raped um literal sexual harassment yeah and this blind item is actually so disgusting to write about a teenager it basically says you know um she is embracing the casting couch and her mom turns a blind eye she looks way older than her age and she knows it she knows that men find her attractive um and she she's afraid that all of this will go away if she doesn't, you know, get the roles that she needs.

12:29Snark Bait Hosts:She was in survival mode. She was in survival. If this is true, she was in survival mode. And she also was being raped by, you know, a grown man. Yes. Presumably, because what producer in Hollywood is under the age of 18? None. Right, right. So very, very, very disturbing. Like I said, I feel like she has encountered so many predators throughout her life. It's really, really, really sad. Um, she told Emrata, uh, when she was on Emrata's High Low podcast that a director accused her of flirting with him when she was 10 years old. She has never named this director. Um, she said that she got a call from her agent and they said she's not moving forward because the director felt like she was flirting with him and it made him really uncomfortable.

13:11Snark Bait Hosts:Like, what the fuck are you talking about, man? I don't give a fuck what I said. I don't care if I said eat my pussy right now. I was 10 years old. Why would you ever think that? And she's right. She was 10. Right. So when it comes to her role on Shake It Up, she played Cece Jones opposite Zendaya, and this was the breakthrough role for both of them. She had no professional dance experience before casting and took three dance classes a night to prepare. She worked really, really, really hard to prepare for this role. and it ran three seasons, around 75 episodes. So her estimated salary was around 10K to 15K per episode, so around 1 million total.

13:50Snark Bait Hosts:Disney almost fired her when she was 14 for wearing a bikini at the beach and was told to wear boy shorts and a loose t-shirt instead. She was said that she was required to talk in a higher voice and appear more innocent while filming. She said on this Emrata Hilo podcast, I almost got fired off the Disney channel because I was 14 and I wore a two-piece on the beach. The stylist that I was hanging out with put this chain on me. It's like a body chain. I don't know. I don't care. There was a fan. They got a photo of me on the beach. I almost got fired. It was all over the media. It was literally viral at that time.

14:22Snark Bait Hosts:And it was, how dare this little girl do this? This is so disgusting. They were like, hey, we're getting a lot of heat for this. Everyone's getting heat for this because you're in a bikini on the beach. So she needs to make sure she goes out in boy shorts and a loose t-shirt next time. Yeah. So it's always the minor child, female child that gets ridiculed by the press because God forbid she wears a bathing suit on the beach. And this is so typical. It reminds me again, I think we brought this up a couple episodes ago about Miley Cyrus and a Vogue article with the sheet over her. And everyone was so quick to ridicule and cancel Miley when she was, what, 15 years old for taking a picture that adults in the room were urging her to take.

14:59Like this is no one else's fault, but the adults around them taking pictures of minors in compromising situations.

15:05Snark Bait Hosts:Yeah, it's like somehow her fault that she keeps getting sexualized. And she's a child. Right. It's so fucked up. When she was done with the show, even though she made, you know, 10, 15K an episode, she apparently only had$200 to her name. Her mom probably took it all. Exactly. Her mom was probably in charge of all the funds and she bought everything. Exactly. And she has alluded to that. It's like Aaron Carter's mom, too. It is so disturbing. Her mom sounds like the worst person alive. Yeah. And speaking of which, all four of the kids, she has three siblings, are in showbiz in some capacity because their mom is such a freaking classic stage mom.

15:45Snark Bait Hosts:She has an older half-sister named Kaylee, and she was born 1992. And she joined OnlyFans during Bella's OnlyFans scandal, which we will get to, and degraded sex work. And the OnlyFans thing is a whole controversy when it comes to Bella, so we will get to that. Danny Thorne, born 1993, began modeling at age four for Gap, Tommy Hilfiger, etc., etc. Pivoted to DJing, actually. Remy Thorne, born 1995, started modeling at eight months, over 27 commercials by childhood. And had a brief conflict with Bella, actually, when she started dating his ex-girlfriend, Bella Pendergast. That's when Bella came out as bisexual.

16:28Snark Bait Hosts:So interesting. Yeah, yeah. Like, keep it in the family. So yeah, Bella's mom is a classic stage mom. She actually wrote in her 2019 poetry book about the relationship titled Love Note to My Mother. She wrote, I wish you saw me, saw us. Danny, Remy, Kaylee, I wish you saw. All we ever really needed was you. Danny confirmed their mother pushed her into making deals and contracts and described it as being served on a platter. In 2017, Bella congratulated her sister on Mother's Day on Instagram but posted nothing for their actual mother. So people speculated that they had had a falling out. But by 2019 slash 2020, it seems like their relationship reconciled.

17:04Snark Bait Hosts:And people have obviously speculated that their mom mismanaged their finances when they were young stars. Hence why Bella only had$200 to her name after her Disney career ended. Yeah, you think Bella at the age of 15 is checking her bank statements? She has no idea where the money's going. The mom 100 % just transferred all that money into herself. It's like so deeply insidious. Yes. I would liken it to animal abuse, elderly abuse. Child abuse, yeah. Yes. It is child abuse. You are stealing money from your child that is being exploited by weird, disgusting predators on set, being sexually abused, and then you are also taking her money.

17:42Snark Bait Hosts:Yeah, exactly. Like, you know, Bella's sibling said they are being served up on a platter. So she's serving her kids up on a platter starting at, you know, when they're babies and then stealing their money that they earn. And thank God for, you know, Coogan's Law and laws like that. But I guess some people don't abide by those. Yeah, because I think Coogan's Law, when was that enacted in California? That's a good question. Okay, why is it saying 1939? It honestly, wait, no. When was Coogan's Law passed? Yeah, SAG-EFTRA. In 1939, the Coogan Law was put into effect, presumably to protect young actors.

18:16Snark Bait Hosts:Oh, I think it was. Yeah, it was 1939. Yeah, because it was child star Jackie Coogan. His parents had spent most of his earnings. Oh, but you know what it is? Okay, so September 26, 2024, Governor Newsom joins Demi Lovato to sign legislation to protect the financial security of child influencers. So we're, remember that law where, like, if it's your child for content creation, when you set aside money, like, they deserve to be put in a trust that you cannot touch. So that was made in 2024. That's what I think we're thinking about. Yes. Yes. So it has been for child actors for a long time, but has recently come to cover children of influencers in California, which is why we talked about on our Avery Woods episode that when Avery Woods moved to California, she stopped posting her children.

19:00Snark Bait Hosts:That's probably why. Yep. Crazy. You've seen Lola Blankets on Instagram and TikTok. You've heard us rave about them. You've seen us post them on our Instagrams. And we're here to tell you firsthand that yes, they absolutely live up to the hype and are absolutely worth it, especially when you can get them for less with our discount code. And with Mother's Day coming up, a Lola blanket really does make the perfect gift. I've already turned my mom and my mother-in-law onto Lola blankets, and they're both completely obsessed and rave about them constantly. They're soft and chic and feel like such an upgrade to the home.

19:38Snark Bait Hosts:Isn't that what every mom wants? They're already my go-to gift for literally everyone in my life, whether it's for birthdays, weddings, house warmings, new babies, because literally everyone loves them. And what's not to love? They're machine washable, double hemmed, made to last for years, no shedding, no pilling, no delicate care instructions, just something you can just genuinely use and enjoy every single day. How many purchases can you say that about? We have so many blankets in our apartment, and somehow Henry and I are always fighting over the Lola blankets. Everyone who comes over becomes obsessed with them after one couch sesh.

20:15Snark Bait Hosts:They are really that soft, you guys. And for a limited time, our listeners can get 40 % off select Lola Blankets products with code SNARK at checkout. This Mother's Day wrapped mom in the everyday luxury of Lola blankets. In case you haven't heard me talk about it 750 million times, I am an auntie. And for as long as I can remember, my nephew Miles' favorite things to eat are little spoon. 25:24Snark Bait Hosts:so here are some of her post disney career acting credits i would love to hear if you have seen any of these knowing me i've seen all of them yeah probably uh notable roles include blended with adam sandler 2014 the duff 2015 she won the teen choice award for movie villain that was designated ugly fat friend the movie about the duff yes when we're we're covering hailey Beck, who is Noah Beck, TikTok influencer sister, who's being investigated for being grooming her student, her 15-year-old student at the time. She's a 27-year-old. And I saw this creator on TikTok refer to Haley Beck as the Duff.

26:03They said, disgusting, ugly family member. Because like, whatever, I can talk shit on Haley Beck. She's literally a predator.

26:09Snark Bait Hosts:In the text, which we will talk about on Patreon, we haven't recorded this yet, But in the text, he is calling her disgusting to her face. He's literally telling her that she's disgusting, that she is like a whale. The things that he's saying to her are, you know, it seems like he was trying to get her to leave him alone. And she wouldn't because she was so desperate. It's so embarrassing and disgusting. She referred to herself as a beluga whale. Haley herself referred to herself as a beluga whale. And he's like, yeah, you were. And it was like a kink that she enjoyed. but she enjoyed people will get into it on page one, obviously.

26:44But students in the classroom said that sometimes they would hear him call her names like fat and she would like get off on it. She wouldn't like she was happy for any attention, positive or negative.

26:54Snark Bait Hosts:Yeah. Very disgusting. Anyway, sorry for that quick aside. We will talk about that on Patreon. The Babysitter 2017, Assassination Nation 2018, Midnight Sun 2018, Infamous 2020, and Girl 2020 called her quote unquote best performance to date. I personally loved the movie You Get Me, which was in 2017, I guess. And I think it's still on Netflix. I love that movie. It's very Lifetime movie-esque. She plays a psycho. She's like this new girl that moves to town and she hooks up with a guy and has like a one night stand with him and he's like the hot guy at high school. She like ends up stalking him and becoming obsessed with him.

27:33Snark Bait Hosts:And he's like, leave me alone. Really, really, really good movie. So love that one. She also was in the episode Drive of American Horror Stories in 2022. And American Horror Stories, to be clear, is different than American Horror Story. It's the anthology series where every episode is a different little spooky story. Kind of like grown-up Are You Afraid of the Dark, actually. I mean, kids will never understand. What is the current version of Are You Afraid of the Dark? Black Mirror. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Black Mirror, American Horror Stories. I love even like the Twilight Zone with Jordan Peele a couple years ago.

28:07Snark Bait Hosts:Like I love any show that has like little spooky stories, starting with Goosebumps and Are You Afraid of the Dark? I was going to say Goosebumps. I loved. Da, da, da, da, da. Goosebumps. Viewer beware. You're in for a scare. Oh, my God. Wait, it just came to me. Yay. Oh, my God. I loved Goosebumps and Are You Afraid of the Dark. The fingers as eyes. Something was wrong with me. Like something was so wrong with me. my sister and my cousins were like, why do you want to watch like, like fucked up? Like, are you afraid of the dark? I don't want to watch this. It's scary. And I was like, this is why you and I are so close.

28:40Like every Saturday, Oh, 48 hours mystery. I must go to the TV. Yeah. Yeah, exactly. Yeah. It was television.

28:47Snark Bait Hosts:I will say that her episode of American horror stories, I wouldn't say she was like the strongest actress from what I remember. I think that she's really good in certain roles. I think that in this role, it was, I wasn't, she wasn't embodying the role enough for me. But I think in certain projects, she is really good. Like I said, that movie You Get Me, I thought that she was really good. I haven't seen any of these, shockingly. Yeah, but... So I have nothing to say about her acting career. I just simply know her as an influencer, content creator. So of the 2020 movie Girl, Bella accused Mickey Rourke, her co-star, of bruising her genitals during filming and said it was one of the all-time worst experiences of her life.

29:25Snark Bait Hosts:So again, abuse at the hands of a man, you know, as part of the Hollywood machine. She recounted how she and the Oscar nominee were sharing a scene in which she was kneeling with her hands zip tied around her back. He's supposed to take a metal grinder to my kneecap and insisted he use it on my genitals through my jeans, hitting them over and over again. I had bruises on my pelvic bone. Working with him was one of the all-time worst experiences of my life working as an actress. And she also shared a screenshot of a post on X in which she alleged that he separately rubbed an engine and covered her completely in dirt for another scene.

29:59Snark Bait Hosts:And she said, I guess he thought it was funny to humiliate me in front of the entire crew. And mind you, the crew is all watching and I'm hoping someone stood up for her, but I'm assuming not just based on the way that she's describing these two events. Yeah, she has just been put through the wringer by so many men in Hollywood, it seems like. Mickey Rourke is so fucking gross. He's also ugly. He's also ugly. So to remind you guys, he used to be really good looking and then got like a bunch of plastic surgery and a facelift that made him look botched. And he's like so disgusting now. So pick a struggle.

30:31Snark Bait Hosts:Pick a struggle. You can't be both. Disgusting, ugly, and an asshole. Pick a struggle. And abusive. I'm going to start using that. Pick a struggle. I can't have it all. She starred in Freeform's Famous and Love for two seasons. This ran from 2017 to 2018. I remember watching like three episodes of this, and then I gave up. And she plays like a celebrity, like a movie star. Yeah, I'm like, who was? I definitely remember this. And I'm looking at the cast. Literally, who? Yeah. Who is it? Like, she's the only notable name. But I remember this one. Yeah, I remember. I was like, oh, interesting. Love a good Freeform original.

31:08Snark Bait Hosts:Bella Thorne famous. Yeah, the premise was that she was like a movie star who gets like, you know, she's OK, wait. Paige Townsend, an ordinary college student, gets her big break after auditioning for the starring role in a Hollywood blockbuster and must now navigate her new star studded life and undeniable chemistry with her co-lead and her best friend. Okay, yes. Sure. Sure. I remember being like, ooh, interesting. And then I gave up. Yeah. She appeared as Swan on The Masked Singer, season three in 2020. Our favorite show, Masked Singer. Shout out to Ashley Simpson, who won it this year. Oh, yeah.

31:43Snark Bait Hosts:Shout out our girl, Ashley Simpson. So most of Bella's filmography consists of low budget, direct to digital releases. She told SiriusXM that she was disappointed by almost every movie that she's been in, which is really sad. She needs to get a better, like, manager or something. Yeah, he's kind of putting her in a little bit of low-budget films, it seems like. Yeah, I mean, it doesn't sound like her, you know, acting career. It never really took off, which I think is why, again, she has gotten into directing and OnlyFans and influencing and so many different, you know, reinventions of herself.

32:17Snark Bait Hosts:And speaking of which, her music career. She released her debut single, Watch Me, in 2011 with Zendaya, which I had no idea that they released a song together. It peaked at number 86 on Billboard Hot 100. She signed to Hollywood Records. Her planned debut album, Call It Whatever, was canceled because she wasn't happy with auto-tuned bad music. She founded her own label, Filthy Fangs, in 2018. The debut studio album, What Do You See Now?, was never released. She said, I'm not trying to be worthy of a Grammy right now. It's not the career that I want. I'm an actress. I'm a writer. So she just decided that she actually didn't want to go into music.

32:51Snark Bait Hosts:um her 2020 diss track aimed at tana mojo stupid or tana mojo tana everyone yelled at me for saying tana i'm like i don't know i don't like watch yeah you're not a consumer of her and also like publications some people pronounce it like that tana mojo stupid fucking bitch was widely mocked that's what the diss track was called stupid fucking bitch i wasn't calling i was like whoa no no i was not calling anyone a stupid fucking bitch that's what her diss track Yeah, I remember we covered this and it was causing a huge rift because they were in a relationship and then they had some beef publicly because of the song.

33:25And then Tana released a diss track against Bella. It was like she said she said.

33:30Snark Bait Hosts:Yeah, exactly. So she released her poetry book, The Life of a Wannabe Mogul, Mental Disarray, Volume 1, in July 2019. And it was written in two weeks on a typewriter, deliberately unedited, published by Rare Bird Books. We don't know. Was this a joke? Was this supposed to be serious? It's a collection of short poems. One of them, for example, is the untitled, Life's a Big Dump. Just flush it. Don't forget to use toidal paper. It's supposed to say toilet, but it says toidal paper because it can make your ass sore. That's such a visual that I don't really want to hear at 6.31 a.m. Do you know what I mean?

34:03Snark Bait Hosts:Also, I understand not wanting an editor to, you know, if this is supposed to be a brain dump, I understand, like, being like, you know what? I want my raw thoughts to stay as raw and unfiltered as possible. But you can still like spell check. Like the fact that toilet is misspelled. Like, I'm sorry, that doesn't add anything that takes away from the experience of reading the poetry. Jezebel wrote a review of this kind of scathing. Mogul is baddie not only because it's lack of proofreading. The book reads like a series of blog posts, a collection of erratic musings, chronicling Thorne's thoughts on life-changing events.

34:39Snark Bait Hosts:I'd graciously describe it as a non-linear memoir, but the eclecticism of the format, scribbles, Xerox, Polaroids, haikus, mini-essays, and free-verse poetry make it easy to envision Mogul as a Tumblr page of bad teenage poetry, easily scrolled through. That's partially its charm. Her language is a jumble of nebulous apostrophes about death, inside jokes about her ex-boyfriend, Maude Son, and her ex-girlfriend, Tana Mojo, and diaristic admissions. The writing isn't sharp, but is purposefully erratic, like she's trying to offer intimacy by publishing the unedited drivel coming from her brain. Yeah, just a hot mess.

35:11Just a bunch of slop, it sounds like.

35:13Snark Bait Hosts:So she actually has some celebrity blurbs on the back of the book. Zendaya said, You'll always be the CC to my Rocky. Diplo said, Hey, I didn't read this book. Bella gave it to me and I left it on an airplane. Marilyn Manson said, I just became illiterate after reading this, but the nude photographs were still very interesting. Bella has pivoted to directing. She's directed more serious things, but her directorial debut was actually for a Pornhub original called Her and Him. It was part of Pornhub's Visionaries Directors Club. It's a narrative adult short starring Abella Danger and Smallhand with Smallhands.

35:53Snark Bait Hosts:Smallhands. Wes Wilson. Yeah. Craig Conover. Yeah. With music by then-boyfriend Maude Son, originally conceived as a Christmas-themed horror film before morphing into erotica. It actually, excuse me, it actually won a Pornhub Vision Award. So that's not nothing. Something that she said about the movie, she goes, The process of shooting was quite interesting because we had real-life fucking on set, which I had never shot before at all. Well, yes, that's, you know, what pornography is. Right. So her OnlyFans saga in August 2020, and this is probably one of the biggest controversies surrounding her career.

36:28Snark Bait Hosts:And I would love to know your thoughts if you haven't heard of this scandal. So Bella joined OnlyFans on August 24th, 2020, charging$20 a month. She made$1 million in her first 24 hours, which was a platform record. $2 million within the first week. Then she offered$200 pay-per-view content marketed as nude that turned out to be lingerie photos similar to her Instagram content. People wanted refunds. It was kind of like false advertising, I guess. OnlyFans responded with policy changes that devastated sex workers because Bella Thorne, you know, not to say that she wasn't a quote-unquote real sex worker.

37:07Snark Bait Hosts:She was a celebrity. She had other streams of revenue. So many sex workers, OnlyFans was their main source of revenue. And she was fucking it up for everyone, for the people who actually needed the platform. Their policy changes were PPV capped at$50. So that's pay-per-view content capped at$50, tips capped at$50 to$100, which I feel like would be a huge deal to sex workers because so many of their biggest fans probably tipped them a lot. So to cap tips and cap pay-per-view content at, you know,$50 or$100, it was probably devastating. I mean, it was devastating for them. And the payout processing extended from 7 days to 30 days.

37:52Snark Bait Hosts:So they ended up getting paid later because of all of the people that requested refunds for Bella Thorne's false advertising. OnlyFans denied it was about Bella. I think two, you know, kind of saved face. But people put two and two together, and sex workers were extremely angry. OnlyFans creator Rebecca Madison said, the pandemic pushed me out of one job already. And again, this is during the pandemic. So a lot of sex workers that were working in person were now, OnlyFans was their main source of income. Now Bella Thorne's behavior has pushed me out of another. The concept of digital gentrification was coined from it, which again, Bella Thorne is already a rich celebrity.

38:30Snark Bait Hosts:She didn't need to invade the space and then ruin it. That's literally gentrification. A tweet read, a white Disney star fucking up a platform that allowed sex workers to earn safely and with autonomy is basically the snapshot of white women co-opting spaces for the marginalized. And it seems like between OnlyFans, and not to defend her in any way here because this is extremely fucked up, but I feel like between directing porn and her OnlyFans debut, it seems like she's a pattern of wanting to reclaim power and control and her own sexuality after years of feeling exploited yeah it's her way of reclaiming the power after not having power i'd imagine for so long and i think i understand why these creators are upset because with her platform she can create her own subscription base yeah platform for her fans to come direct to her post it to her instagram hey if you guys want exclusive content go to bellathor.com and i'll share that you know whatever but it's like it's the platform on what you're doing which makes it quote unquote gentrified and you're taking away from other creators that are actually needing the money desperately.

39:37I understand why they are upset about it. At the same time, Bella seems to be acting in ways of, like I said, like it's a, it seems like she's trying to rewrite, not rewrite history, but yeah, take the control in her own hands because she never had the chance to do so the majority of her life.

39:51Snark Bait Hosts:Yeah, exactly. And speaking of which, like creating her own platform, she ends up launching her own OnlyFans management company called Content X. Rolling Stone reported that it was a hot mess. Former clients reported declining earnings, being pushed toward more risque content, and called it just profiting off of the backs of sex workers. So also not great. By 2021, she was reportedly OnlyFans' second highest earner at$11 million per month, which is obviously crazy. So in terms of her other business ventures, she launched Forbidden Flowers, a cannabis brand, in 2019 with Glasshouse Group in California.

40:26Snark Bait Hosts:It's currently available at 57 plus dispensaries and it's her biggest revenue stream. So this is actually one successful business venture. She has a couple that were not so successful, including Filthy Things makeup palettes sold for$50 to$60, sold out on launch day, but were later criticized for their steep pricing and accused of copying indie brand Juvia's Place. This brand, Filthy Things makeup does not exist anymore. Yeah, I've never even heard of it. Yeah. Then there was Thorne by Bella, another cosmetics line with products named Fuck Me Fire Trucked and DSL. Why were all makeup brand for so long better than sex mascara, like orgasm blush?

41:07Yeah. It is really weird. I always feel self-conscious because I'm actually wearing orgasm blush right now. It's a great blush.

41:13Snark Bait Hosts:I really do like it. It's so funny how everything was sexual in the 2010s with makeup. Yeah. She also had products for cystic acne, suffers. And she's been very open about the fact that she has struggled with her with her skin over the years. This brand also doesn't exist anymore. And Slash has rebranded what does exist of it now. It's actually Bella by Thorne now instead of Thorne by Bella. And it's jewelry and smoking accessories. So another, you know, business of hers, quote unquote, is her Instagram. Like you said she is an influencer she has 20 million plus followers she reportedly charged 60k to 100k per sponsored post and told vogue she bought a house entirely with instagram earnings in 2018 at 20 years old which is obviously incredible annual estimate is one to two million dollars from social media alone so between her like only fans earnings and her social media earnings she really doesn't need to act.

42:14No. Oh, my God. I feel like it would just be a sunk cost. She should, yeah, she should divert all of her attention towards her 20 million followers. I didn't realize she had that many. Yeah. That's like more than Alex Earl.

42:24Snark Bait Hosts:Yeah. I mean, yeah. Yeah, yeah, absolutely. I mean, Alex Earl is still so new in the grand scheme of things. Like all of these celebrities like Bella Thorne, you know, I know she's not on the same levels like Zendaya or like Demi Lovato or Selena Gomez, but kind of those tweenie bopper stars that kids grew up with always have so many freaking followers yeah um so from 2025 or this is her later career so this is actually um yeah this is 2025 she wrapped her feature directorial debut color your heart starring christopher ecklisten and tiffany haddish it was based on her 2024 short unsettled her short won holly shorts best rising director award also written produced by thorn color your heart this is from deadline follows a young gay man struggling for self-acceptance in a hostile community.

43:13Snark Bait Hosts:Haunted by his repressed memories that twist into nightmarish visions, he must navigate a gauntlet of fear, violence, and fleeting beauty on a journey that's as terrifying as it is liberating. So, got pretty good review from what it seems. And some upcoming roles are The Trainer, directed by Tony Kaye, co-starring Paris Hilton and Julia Fox, and Spring Breakers colon Salvation Mountain, which I guess is the Spring Breakers sequel with James Franco and Mike Tyson. James Franco was still working, question mark? Apparently. So yeah, Bella Thorne choosing to work with him is also kind of a question mark.

43:51Snark Bait Hosts:Great. So let's get into her relationship history. Did you know that she dated Charlie Puth? Okay, the only reason I knew about this was because you just want attention. People wonder if it's about Bella or Selena. And I've never been able to determine which one it is about. Yeah, so she actually dated Tyler Posey from Teen Wolf before Charlie Puth. But then her and Tyler broke up, so she started hanging out with Charlie Puth a little bit. Did you ever watch Overcompensating, Benny Drama's show? No, but when you were talking about Tyler Posey, I just have to say, when I was at the VMAs with that one, you know, I talked about this on the Justin Bieber episode last week.

44:28When I was on the red carpet, I saw Tyler Posey and I screamed at him and I was like, Made in Manhattan is one of my favorite movies. And Dylan O 'Brien. He was in that? Yeah, he was the kid.

44:36Snark Bait Hosts:It's been so long. Dylan O 'Brien and Tyler Posey started laughing because I thought it was a fun— Oh, my God. Good job making them laugh. I know. I love Dylan O 'Brien. So, Charlie invited Bella to Jingle Ball in Miami, serenaded her on stage, and they were photographed kissing on the beach. Then Puth saw what he thought was a current article about Bella and her ex-boyfriend Tyler Posey still being together, but he was actually old. Instead of texting her, he posted eight tweets accusing her of cheating, saying no one should have their heart messed with like this. I don't know Tyler personally, but I know he shouldn't be treated this way.

45:12Snark Bait Hosts:She told me she was not with him anymore. This is all news to me. Like, what a fucking loser. Bella's response was, Ty and I have been broken up for over two weeks and Charlie and I aren't dating. We are friends. She received death threats and snake emojis from approximately two million people because Charlie Puth, you know, had all these fans that he basically sent after her. Kiki Palmer publicly defended her. And she said, you know, Charlie and I were hanging out. He saw an old interview and got butt hurt. But instead of texting me and asking about it, he put it on Twitter. In 2025, you know, like almost 10 years later, Bella reignited the drama.

45:47Snark Bait Hosts:She commented on an Instagram post saying he lied to the entire world about me and started a hate train all because I wouldn't do the deed with him. So basically saying that he did this all because she wouldn't sleep with him. Okay, and that's so interesting because I feel like after Charlie Puth sang the national anthem at the Super Bowl this year, he's been having such good press. And I think he's married now. Yeah, I think they had a baby, yeah. Yeah, he just is having really good publicity right now. And I didn't know this. Okay, so now I think attention is about Bella and not about Selena Gomez.

46:18Snark Bait Hosts:Yeah, people speculate that it is. He's, I don't know, he gives me the, but why I asked you if you watch overcompensating is because there's a running gag in overcompensating, which is so funny, by the way. Benny drama show that he wrote and starred in. They're currently filming season two, I believe. And it's a running gag where Charlie XCX is like coming to the college campus to perform. And Adam DeMarco, who plays Mary Beth Barone's boyfriend in the show, goes, she goes, oh, I have work to do for the Charlie concert. And he goes, poof. And she goes, XCX. And it's like a running gag where he goes, poof, XCX.

46:55Oh, my God. So funny.

46:56Snark Bait Hosts:Okay. So. I don't know what I would automatically think of if someone said I'm going for the Charlie concert. Like, what would you say? I would say Charlie XCX. Like, Charlie Puth is not relevant in my world. He's not relevant at all. I don't think he's relevant in anyone's world. All the time. But I feel like in the zeitgeist that is pop culture, Charlie Puth is everywhere. Do you know what I mean? No. We're on different internets. like he is not all over like my for you page at all no i feel like he's always in the fucking zeitgeist and i don't know why he's such a loser i'm sorry this really gave me the yuck about him it's char charlie one word is charlie xcx that's why the joke was so funny that is who uh okay so let's talk about the scott disick fling this was in con in 2017 bella who was 19 at the time went on a date with then 34 Scott Disick.

47:46Snark Bait Hosts:Again, this was Scott Disick's first in a long string of very, very, very much younger women. They went on a date in LA, then flew to Cannes for his birthday. Pool photos showed Disick touching her a lot, notably her boobs. She later claimed her nipple popped out of her bikini and he was fixing it. Hours later, Scott was photographed with his ex, Chloe Bartali, while Bella was at an event. She flew home and she told Complex Magazine, I love to go out and have fun, but I just don't party hardcore like that. And it was way too much for me. I was never with him sexually. And Kendall Jenner revealed on Keeping Up with the Kardashians that Scott admitted that he was doing all this to make Court mad and jealous, which I think we all knew at the time that he was still obsessed with Courtney after they broke up in 2015.

48:30A hundred percent. And I remember this quote when she was like, I liked hanging out with Scott, but it became too hardcore for me with the drugs. And I remember, I mean, this is just my own bias when it comes to Bella Thorne. I remember thinking, oh, she doesn't party. Like she's hanging out with Tana and Scott Disick who are like admittedly notably use drugs and alcohol. So I was like, oh, interesting. But yeah, I mean, like I believe her. I just assumed that she was engaging in substances.

48:56Snark Bait Hosts:Yes. But maybe not. Maybe she just, you know, it's not always birds of a feather. Right. Maybe it's opposites of track. As you guys know, my home is my happy place. from my green Dakota Johnson-inspired kitchen to my cozy living room where I park on the couch to watch hours of trash TV and devastating dogs. There's literally nowhere I'd rather be. And Wayfair has made it so easy and affordable for me to elevate every room of my house. And now it's Way Day. From April 25th through the 27th, you can score the best deals in home, like up to 80 % off with free shipping on literally everything. I'm currently in the process of redoing my office slash podcast station, and I'm obsessed with my new office chair from Wayfair.

49:42I've also made some easy upgrades to my kitchen and bathroom essentials, like new soap dishes and chic hand towels. Whatever you need, big or small, from furniture to a tiny couturements, Wayfair's got it. And it is all on sale for Wayday. Wayday is the sale to shop the best deals at home. For Jeff, trying any salsa is like playing Russian roulette with a flamethrower. Luckily, Jeff saved with Amazon and stocked up on antacids, ginger tea, and milk.

51:04Snark Bait Hosts:Habanero? More like habanere, yes. Save the everyday with Amazon. We gather here tonight to bring women back to their rightful place. The Testaments, a new Hulu original series from the executive producers of The Handmaid's Tale. It's easier to accept a story than believe that the people around you are monsters. The battle isn't over. There comes a time when you have to take action. When you have to choose your own destiny. Never quite as it seems. Watch the new Hulu original series, The Testaments. Streaming on Hulu and Hulu on Disney Plus for bundle subscribers. Terms apply. So let's talk about her polyamory phase starting in 2017.

51:46Snark Bait Hosts:So from late 2017 to early 2019, she dated Tana Mojo in Mod Sun, as we discussed on the Tana episode. Tana later said that it was not truly a throuple because they both were dating Bella separately and competing for her attention. In February 2019, Bella split with Tana and then in April of that year split with Maude's son. Both Tana and Maude's son then started dating each other, which infuriated Bella. She accused Tana of breaking girl code. In December 2020, she released her diss track, Stupid Fucking Bitch, with the lyrics, You Wanted Me For Clout and I Should Have Thrown You Out. Tana responded by using the song as a TikTok sound to mock it.

52:25Snark Bait Hosts:And some have accused her of using her bisexuality. You know, they accused her of being performative with it or queerbaiting with it, which I don't know. I haven't seen any real evidence that she is being performative with her sexuality. I think those accusations are actually kind of biphobic. It's like, what makes you think that a woman like Bella Thorne cannot be bisexual? Right. Who's to say what she, what her sexual orientation is? Right. Like, who are you to say that? That's weird. The term queerbaiting always bothers me because it's like, how do you like people say that about Harry Styles?

52:58Snark Bait Hosts:And it's like, what if Harry Styles is closeted? Like, that's his business. Like, how do you know that he's not queer? How do you know that he's not bi? It's like people don't know. Like, you can't accuse someone of queerbaiting when you really don't know what they actually are. And I totally understand why certain celebrities don't speak out about their sexuality because people are fucking weird. Yeah. And I think with Harry Styles, I know that there is the Larry rumors with him and Liam. Yeah. But I think those queerbaiting rumors stem from the way that Harry dresses at concerts. But it's like, and like the fluidity at which he dresses.

53:32Like sometimes we'll dress in a skirt. Sometimes we'll dress in a dress. But like the way that you dress doesn't necessarily inform your sexual orientation. Yeah. So that's what I don't, I agree. What I'm saying is I agree with you. Like I don't understand. And maybe there's other things that he has done and said that make people piss at him. But for me, it's mainly the way he dresses.

53:51Snark Bait Hosts:Yeah, I just think the queerbaiting thing is, I don't know. Again, it's like you don't really, you don't know. Like, how can you say that Harry Styles is queerbaiting when you really don't know his sexuality? He has never confirmed nor denied that he is sexually fluid. I will say someone that I feel like I don't want to say queerbaiting, but Olivia Ponton, who we discussed on our Joe Burrow episode, has said that she's identified as a lesbian before. but she is very famously dating the straightest person alive, Joe Burrow. Oh, really? Yeah, she is. I didn't know that. She is identified as a lesbian.

54:25Snark Bait Hosts:She's called herself a lesbian, and now she is publicly dating Joe Burrow, which is, people are like, are you really a lesbian? Because you're dating a man. So that is like, you know, you could argue that that is queer, Beatty, because for a while she was like, I'm a lesbian. Right, right. She wasn't even calling herself bi. She was calling herself a lesbian. Right. And now she's dating, you know, the straightest football player guy's guy. So. Yeah. And how dare she? You know, he's ours. He's he's mine. Yeah. OK, so, yeah, like I said, she broke up with Maud's son in 2019 and Maud's son claims they got engaged, married and divorced in 15 months.

55:01Snark Bait Hosts:But the wedding was apparently not legally binding. And he actually broke up with her on April 15th, the anniversary of her father's death, which is really sad. And Maud's son was 32 and she was 21 at the time. Weird. Also, this guy's breaking hearts left, right and center, hanging out with Tana and Bella. I know. And he's like not cute. There's nothing to sneeze about. So she has had a few other engagement eras. Benjamin Mascolo, they connected over Instagram in 2019 before meeting in person at Coachella. They went Instagram official in June of that year, and they were actually age appropriate.

55:36Snark Bait Hosts:He was 27 and she was 23. And he's actually won half of the Italian pop duo Benji and Fede. Fede? Fede? and um like palo and isabella yeah yeah in october 2019 while still with him bella announced a new girlfriend alex martini in a polyamorous arrangement benjamin was supportive apparently commenting you girls are cute but that fizzled by november 2019 benjamin proposed in march 2021 on the set of their film time is up with a pear-shaped diamond ring she actually bought him an engagement ring back but they broke up in june 2022 due to conflicting schedules She is currently engaged to Mark Ems, who is a 45-year-old British producer and entrepreneur.

56:18Snark Bait Hosts:She is 28, so not a great age gap there. He is CEO of Ems Productions, producer of Netflix's Bad Vegan, co-owner of NYC Bar, The Mulberry, etc., etc. They actually met at Cara Delevingne's birthday party in Ibiza in August 2022. Bella told Vogue it was love at first sight as the sun rose. Oh, to be at Cara Delevingne's birthday party in Ibiza. As the sun is rising. As the sun is rising. I'm assuming, yeah. Yeah. He proposed in May 2023 with a reportedly 10-plus-carat emerald-cut diamond. In August 2025, she proposed back to him. No wedding date is set, but she wants a countryside wedding at an English manor with vintage Schiaparelli or Dior gowns.

57:01Snark Bait Hosts:So, other scandals. And I wouldn't even categorize this one as a scandal, really. but in 2019 when she was 21 she posted on twitter that someone was threatening her with her own nudes so she posted a topless picture of herself and like i said i feel like she so often is trying to like reclaim the narrative reclaim her power and she said she was releasing the pictures because it's my decision and now you don't get to take yet another thing from me i can sleep tonight better knowing i took my power back you can't control my life you never will uh then whoopi Goldberg got involved. She was talking shit on The View and basically saying that you shouldn't have taken these pictures in the first place.

57:42Snark Bait Hosts:You're stupid for taking nude photos if you're a woman. Bella responded saying her comments were disgusting, wrote a huge thing on her Instagram stories. Whoopi Goldberg is high key a huge misogynist. She has the wrong take like 99.9 % of the time, I would say. I think she needs an episode. She has so many wrong takes and so many like just backwards views i would say yeah and this was recently no this was in 20 2019 yeah um really not like yeah i don't get but i don't give a shit what you're doing in your own spare time in your private life do whatever you want like yeah it's so unless you're not hurting anybody like who cares who gives a fuck yeah who literally who gives a fuck and it's so like you're blaming the woman here when she's the one that was getting blackmailed like why like she was getting blackmailed.

58:31Snark Bait Hosts:It's not like, oh God, whoopee Goldberg. She actually was due to go on The View after this, but she said she didn't feel like being beaten down by a bunch of older women. I don't blame her. She said, I don't want you guys talking about your views to young girls because I would not want my daughter to learn that. I would never say that to her. Yeah, good. Good for her. She was allegedly kicked out of a hotel in Park City for smoking weed in 2018, which is funny because 2018 was such a different time. It was. And I am always shocked when I travel to different states in the U.S. where marijuana is not legalized because it's so normalized in California.

59:06Yeah. And same with New York. Yeah, same with New York. And so I'm always just shocked. But it is no surprise that Park City, Utah...

59:14Snark Bait Hosts:Is Utah strict with weed? Like, I guess that makes sense. Like, are they still? I know this was 2018. I think it's heavily Mormon. And, you know, they don't even drink caffeine or coffee, rather. Park City, Utah legalization of marijuana. But that would make sense. It's against the law. It says like under... Yeah, even if you have less than an ounce, it's... Guys, I'm... It's only allowed for, under current Utah law, possession of as little as an ounce or less of marijuana can result in a six-month jail sentence. It's only allowed for medical purposes. Wow, I'm so curious, guys. Like, what U.S.

59:49Snark Bait Hosts:state are you in? It's just crazy to hear that some U.S. states it's still legal because they feel like it's so legal. But it's not, clearly. So let us know if you're in a U.S. state. Is it illegal where you are? I'm very curious. Yeah. As for my closing thoughts on Bella Thorne, first of all, I have heard from multiple people that have met her in person that she is extremely nice. I can totally see that. She is lovely. Absolute sweetheart. Like so many of my friends have met her just at like events in New York City, like just multiple people. And they all say the same thing, that she's so sweet, so warm.

1:00:23Snark Bait Hosts:She, like, gave her phone number to one of my friends and was like, I need new friends. Like, let's hang out. Like, she seems very nice. I also feel bad for her. Like, no one really takes her seriously as an actress slash director. I feel like the internet laughs at her a lot. But she's had, like, this very traumatic life and upbringing. And it makes me feel sad. Yeah. I think that she had a lot of really bad cards dealt to her. and to no fault of her own. Like she was literally born into poverty. Her mom was shoving her into the limelight along with all of her other siblings. She was forced to be the breadwinner at a very young age.

1:01:02She was sexually assaulted by pedophiles in the industry time and time again. Like how can you really be quote unquote normal with all those circumstances that you're given? Like she had no choices in those matters. She was a child when all that was happening to her. So I think she's doing her absolute best to make a name for herself and to be taken more seriously. And I'm genuinely rooting for her. Like, she's doing things that are maybe not conventionally, like, not a conventional way to earn money, being a director of a Pornhub movie, doing OnlyFans, things like that. People judge her for that.

1:01:33But it's like, it seems like that's the industry that she feels, again, the most comfortable in, oddly enough, because she's trying to take back control of what she didn't have control over.

1:01:43Snark Bait Hosts:Yeah, absolutely. And she was constantly, she was surrounded by predators from birth. Correct. Her, including her mom, her mom, she was sexually assaulted as a child. She was preyed on by people in, by men in Hollywood as a child. And like I said, I feel like this, it makes sense why she has tried to reclaim power with OnlyFans, with porn, with directing, etc. etc and it does seem like she's constantly reinventing herself and trying to find success in different arenas and it doesn't always stick but um maybe her pivot to director is going to be the one that finally sticks i don't know but i'm rooting for her i really am same she gives me good energy like i can just i can sense energy even on a page who she is she radiates just good vibes like a very damaged individual given what she's gone through but still she shows she tries to show up on top every time.

1:02:37Snark Bait Hosts:Yeah, I completely agree. So yeah, that is the tea on Bella Thorne. Like I said, she has a lot of lore and so many different traumatic, interesting things that have happened in her life. I really feel like she just has been through so much, like I said. So rooting for her. I really am. I came out of this liking her more than I did before I knew as much about her. Me too. I knew the top line stuff about Scott Disick, Tana, but not really all this other stuff. So you did a really good job walking us through it. And yeah, you guys, yesterday on Patreon, like we said, we talked about Haley Beck and her disgustingness being a predator to her high school student.
