In short
The episode of Snarkbait (“What’s the Snark on Keleigh Teller?”) discusses Kelly Teller (Miles Teller’s wife; formerly Kelly Sperry), focusing on her social-media persona, her wealth signaling, and her past friendship with Taylor Swift. The hosts claim Kelly’s Instagram editing and captions can look “erratic” or “manic,” liken her behavior to Britney-style online unpredictability, and criticize her for posting expensive items (e.g., $16,000 jewelry) with links that seem aimed at clout rather than sales. They also argue Miles Teller’s frequent “doting husband” framing in interviews may be PR to soften his reputation as difficult.
Guest/host backgrounds
Christy and Sophie are the episode hosts; Sophie is a New York dog owner and references their live show in Brooklyn. No other guests appear in the transcript.
Key factual background
Kelly was born in Orange County (Oct 16, 1992), raised in Anaheim Hills, from a wealthy Catholic family; her father founded Sperry Van Ness (commercial real estate). She modeled for agencies and brands like Clarins and Estée Lauder.

Kelly and Taylor Swift photos from 2014–2023 (bowling party, 1989 tour backstage, wedding note flowers, cardigan gift, TikToks at a theater premiere). Kelly’s “Kelly Teller” luxury pajama line (DTC; $129–$172) and the claim it launched the same day as Taylor’s Life of a Showgirl release. They also mention the couple’s investment in Finnish Long Drink, sold to Mark Anthony Group for ~$325M, and Kelly’s wealth-touting posts.

I'm Sophie. And today on What's the Snark? We are talking about the one and only Kelly Teller. But before we get into that, Sophie, how are you? I am good. It's Thursday, May 28th. I have Baxter next to me and I need to make sure that he is not chewing on his Duclaw wound. I kept calling it Duclaw. I keep calling it that. And Henry keeps correcting me. It's Duclaw, not Dupaw. Anyway, if you hear me go mute or if you hear me say, Baxter, stop licking.
2:58That's because I'm on Baxter duty right now also as we record. But he's doing well. I'm happy to report. He just, you know, is bandaged up. I like Dupaw better, quite honestly. I like Dupaw better too. It sounds like Dupaw, like the college. Yeah, yeah, yeah, Yeah, it does. And it also, it just feels like it's a fun way to talk to a dog's anatomical body. It's so funny. When we were at the vet, the vet like brought out the actual like claw that they removed because it had been torn out. It was like hanging there and then they ended up removing it entirely. And I was like, oh my God, it's like, why is it so cute that like this came out of his body.
3:37Like his body made this. Like his little body. He's like so. I know he's so cute and compact. And I just I love him. And you're going to meet him soon. I know when you're New York. Let's see. Literally what two weeks, at least from when we're recording today. But by the time this comes out, it'll be a week from tomorrow. And if you guys don't already know, we're going to be in New York City, well, in Brooklyn specifically, for our second live show. Yes. I am so excited, you guys. Don't forget to get your tickets if you haven't already at x1entertainment.com slash snarkbait. We also have link in our show notes and use code babysnark25 for 25 % off.
4:20But yeah, it's going to be so much fun. I'm like actually so excited. I feel like before our LA show, I was just nervous. Right. Because I didn't know what to expect. And now I'm just excited. Like I had the time of my life. I feel like you did too. So yeah, ready for it. But how are you doing? How's your week been? It's been really busy. But I, as I said last week, you know, it's now a week out, but I love long weekends, which means for, which makes for short weeks. And that's kind of it. That's all I got. I too am excited to see you again, see the Snark bait team, you know, the East Coast baby snarks.
4:57We had a lot of people come from varying states throughout, like around California to our LA show. So I look forward to seeing if there are any people that are flying from out of state. What states are we enjoyed in? What states is snark bait enjoyed in? I would say New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts. Yeah, I'm sure the tri-state area will probably have some. So excited to meet so many of you. That was like the highlight of the first show was getting to meet so many baby snarks. It was just so surreal and incredible, and I can't wait to do it all over again. And yeah, I'm excited for you to see Shea Brooks for the first time.
5:36Oh, yes. No, likewise. I think I'm most excited to meet Baxter. And I feel like I already know the layout of your apartment because we FaceTimed so often that I just know exactly, you know, I've never been here, but I know my way around. Yeah, not your house, but you know your way around. Yeah. Bingo. Yep. That's exactly right. So without further ado, let's get into the topic at hand. Kelly Teller, Miles Teller's wife, influencer, PJ, luxury, luxury PJ wear designer. I mean, she's really all the things. Former Taylor Swift best friend forever. Well, not really forever because they're no longer friends, which of course we're going to get into.
6:07But Sophie, what are your thoughts on Kelly Teller? I feel like she's really made waves on social media over the last couple of years, especially when she was tied to Taylor. But What do you know about her? I'm going to be honest. She scares me a little bit. I think you're not alone in that. There's something very uncanny about her in the way that she edits her photos on social media and the way that she just is. That kind of freaks me out a little bit. And I also am not a huge, like I think Miles Teller is really talented, obviously, but I think he's kind of an asshole. Yeah. I think many people would agree.
6:39And he kind of does have that reputation for being as such. But Kelly actually, I think, has softened his edges. And I think it's been thought of that it's very much a PR strategy move on his part to play this doting, wonderful, lovable husband who loves and cares for his wife. And beneath that, that was a huge asshole, a big dick. And not, well, physically, I don't know how large his penis is. Oh, we don't know what he's working with, but yeah. Yeah, exactly. But there's been a little bit of scandal, I would say, around Kelly. I think most notably her friendship with Taylor Swift, which, of course, we're going to get into.
7:15The way that she face-tunes her photos, her, quite honestly, and quite frankly, bizarre social media activity. People liken it to sometimes, I mean, this is not something to laugh about, but the way Britney Spears can appear somewhat erratic on her social media and the way that she writes her captions is misspelled. And it looks like a little manic. A little manic. People say that as well about Kelly Taylor. So let's just get right into it. Sorry. And she also is known for posting, speaking of her social media activity, she'll post like a$16 ,000 piece of jewelry and like link it and be like, how pretty is this?
7:48Here, if you guys want the link. And it's like, you know for a fact your followers aren't purchasing a$16 ,000 ring from an affiliate link. Like, please, it's just so out of touch and obnoxious. Yeah, and I think she often does like to tout the wealth. It's like, listen, we know that you are very wealthy. You're my other wife. You're from a very wealthy family, which I've come to learn. You don't need to tell us on social media. I think she's very much a clout chaser. She very much likes to show off her wealth. She's kind of everything that I think people who don't live in America hate about Americans.
8:19And I don't know her personally, but she does. Her activity online makes her seem a little bit cringe. And she definitely is a hanger on her. And I think that's why she's a little bit fascinating to so many of us, because not only was she friends with Taylor Swift, but she's also always around famous people like Glenn Powell, for instance, Alex Earle, Nina Dobrev. She's friends with these people that are very relevant in the social community. And I think that's all very much by design. So let's get into it. Kelly Teller, formerly known as Kelly Sperry. She was born in California. and I read somewhere she's born, she grew up in Anaheim Hills, which is like a nice area for sure.
8:56And she was born October 16th, 1992 in Orange County and she's the youngest of six. She comes from actually a very wealthy Catholic family. She has three sisters and two brothers and I don't know what it is about Kelly Teller. She kind of just has that rich look. Like the fact that she came from money does not surprise me at all. Do you know what I mean? Yeah, not surprising. And the reason for that is because her father ran Sperry he founded a commercial real estate franchise called Sperry Van Ness in 1987. And that specific company grew to over 1 ,400 advisors and staff in nearly 200 offices across the world.
9:30And her father also sits on the advisory board of clean water nonprofit Wells of Light, which Kelly has publicly supported over the years. And a well in Uganda was actually dedicated to her and Miles in 2017 as an engagement present from her father in 2018. So there you go. You have money and your father puts a well in your name in Uganda. Good for her. So what was she doing before she met Miles Teller? She was best known as a model, and that's kind of it. I don't know really much about her. If she did anything else, if she worked corporate jobs, I don't think so. But during her career, she had signed with major modeling agencies like One Management, LA Model Management, Brand Talent.
10:04And she worked with a bunch of very well-known brands like Clarins, Estee Lauder, Buxom Cosmetics, which, by the way, Buxom Cosmetics, I remember they were like the OG lip plumper. Do you remember Buxom? I was just going to, yes. Yes. I was just going to say, does Buxom still exist? Yeah, they do. I think I still see their shit in Sephora, but it's like all the way in the back. Yeah. But I think, you know, the makeup industry has just really taken off and now everyone has a lip plumper. Oh my God. It's so funny. Of course, they're like an Ulta brand. Like I feel like Ulta. I go to Ulta all the time and there are a lot of brands that I love at Ulta, like Elemis and like CosRx are Ulta and not Sephora.
10:41But I feel like in terms of like the makeup brands they have, it's always like the makeup brands that people like less than the ones at Sephora. Something about Ulta, you're right. It does read a little bit more lowbrow than Sephora. Yes. But quite honestly, the products there are equally as good as Sephora. They're just different. But I know what you mean. It's like the marketing and the perception of what it is. It's a little like down market. Yeah. But again, I go to Ulta all the time. I love Ulta. Do you know what I think it is? It's the appearance of the store. It looks a bit drugstorey. Like it's a more elevated CVS.
11:10Yes. And also, every time I go there, and again, no offense to any Ulta lovers or Ulta employees listening. Maybe this is like feedback. We're so off track already. Every time I go to Ulta, I feel like it's like dusty and like dirty. No, 100%. Okay, it's not just me. It's not just the Ulta I go to. No, it's not the New York City Ulta. It's a well-known thing. Sephora always just seems clean, pristine. Yes. And I feel like there's a lot of like nasty shit that happens in makeup stores because like people are touching everything. You're trying on the same lifts. It's really dirty, actually, and implicitly.
11:43But something about Ulta just feels a little bit grimier. Like, I completely know what you mean. Dusty is such a good word. And the branding, it's like the white and the orange. It's just like, okay, I'm sorry. We're so off track. Yeah. I don't even know how we got into this. What's the stark on Ulta? Yeah. So when Kelly Taylor really started to get on everyone's minds is when she was in Taylor Swift's I Bet You Think About Me, which was directed by Blake Lively in 2021. And it's really funny. I was doing research for this episode. I was coming across all these old photos of Kelly and Taylor. And there's so many people that they are photographed with that Taylor no longer would ever be publicly seen with.
12:21Kelly Taylor, obviously. Blake Lively. Randomly, like, I feel like she never hangs out. Taylor never hangs out with Ice Spice anymore. I don't know. It's very— Oh, yeah. Yeah. The Super Bowl in 2024 is when she was photographed in the suite with that black corset top. And she's Ice Spice, Blake, Kelly, three people who I don't think she'd ever be seen with again. That is so funny. Wait, you don't think? Okay, I know that I'm not as much of a Swifty as you are, but like the Blake thing, like you really don't think that they will ever be seen together again. You know what I think it is? If they will be seen together, again, it's going to be in years and it's going to be a Kylie and Jordan Woods situation where they maybe are talking about closed doors.
12:59But I think publicly, Taylor's team has advised her to not be seen with Blake just because the discussion around Blake is just so negative right now. And I honestly don't think Blake will ever come back from it, unfortunately for her. And I think the fact that she was seen at the Met Gala and people were like, what the hell are you doing here? Like, we're not saying you need to be in hiding forever, but the case was just settled. and now you're showing up publicly and saying that you're so shy and you have your kids and you're trying. Because I'm shy. Yeah. She's just so contrived and I think you can't hide behind it anymore.
13:30Yeah. So maybe Taylor and her are good behind closed doors, but I don't think she would be seen with her publicly. And I actually would be shocked to see if they really are still friends. I think more that they're not friends than they are. I also understand why Taylor would be actually mad at Blake because of what she was saying in those texts. She was trying to weaponize Taylor's popularity and all of that. So I understand that. But I think with like the Ice Spice thing, it's like Ice Spice was really, really, really popular in 2024 and 2023. And now it's like she's not as relevant as she was a couple of years ago.
14:05It's like, is Taylor only friends with people that are relevant in the celebrity Hollywood world? I think she attaches herself to people that are brand safe until they're not. And I think Kelly Taylor - Wow, brand safe is a good way to put it. Yeah. Yeah. I think Taylor being friends with Kelly is a complete indication of that. Because Kelly Taylor was on top of the world. She wasn't appearing erratic until around 2024 when her and Taylor started kind of separating. And I think Taylor realized your manic behavior is not brand safe for me. And I'm still doing my heiress tour. I'm at the top of my game.
14:39Nothing can, even one bad press, like I don't even, I can't even afford to handle it right now. I just need to focus on my career and continuing to be on top. And Kelly Hiller is no longer brand safe. And we'll get into more of why we think Kelly and her are no longer friends because I think it's a lot more than Kelly posting erratically. I think it has a lot to do with her keeping Kelly too close and realizing that Kelly was no longer in her corner in the way that Taylor wants her circle. Imagine, like, you have a falling out with Taylor and you just keep texting her and you're like, hey, so, like, you didn't answer my FaceTime yesterday.
15:08How was that meeting? Please. And I have no doubt that is what their text message is. look like oh my god yeah i would be crashing i would be crashing out me too but i think taylor is so she keeps her friend for her friend group so curated yeah to the point where if you're just being annoying and you're leaking stuff bye bye i'm over it the way that everyone was going back to the music video the way that everyone was gagged about this music video and i remember it was so cool because blake lively i think creatively produced it she directed it maybe I forget, but Blake Lively and Taylor Swift definitely have had a heavy hand in the production and the creative direction and the production of the entire music video.
15:49And I must say, when it comes to Miles Teller, I have been a fan of his since The Spectacular Now. Did you ever see that movie? No. With Shailene Woodley? This came out, I think, in early 2010s. I remember seeing it in theaters and thinking it was such a like, it's kind of like the perks of being a Wallflower-esque. It's like a coming-of-age teen romance where Miles Teller is a huge asshole. He kind of corrupts Shailene Woodley, who's like the nice, intelligent girl, kind of nerdy girl from school and kind of ruins her life. And I went to look it up on Rotten Tomatoes to see how good of a movie it really was publicly.
16:2292. So I was like, finally, the one movie. Yes, I am obsessed with this movie. So if you guys haven't seen it, I highly recommend. But I feel like with Miles Teller, he kind of came up in the same star class. And I think he even admitted this when Zac Efron had his Hollywood Star Walk of Fame unveiled when he was there to kind of announce it with alongside Zac. Miles said, you know, we were kind of in the same start class and you've really been someone that I've looked up to. But I think the difference between Miles and the rest of the people in the start class like Zac and Michael B. Jordan is that Zac and Michael B.
16:52Jordan, I think, are true A-list celebrities. I think no one would doubt that they are A-list. Zac, maybe not so much. I feel like he still has some work to do. but I genuinely think Zach is super talented, and he has A-list name recognition, as does Michael B. Jordan. Miles Teller, he's in all the A-list movies like Top Gun, but for whatever reason, he's never been A-list like Zach and Michael. Do you know what I mean? Completely. And I'm pretty sure he was nominated for an Oscar for Whiplash, I'm pretty sure. And he's obviously undoubtedly talented. Yes, he was. Oh, he was not nominated for Whiplash.
17:30But it's got him a Best Actor nomination of the Gotham Independent Film Awards. He got like a lot of recognition for that role. So like he is undoubtedly extremely, extremely talented. He has star power. He is in, you know, he has an amazing filmography. But there's something about him that just, yeah, he feels like he's still on the cusp still. Right. And I think it kind of comes down to him kind of notoriously being known as kind of being a dick and a little bit difficult to work with. I remember on the set of the music video, the Taylor Swift music video. there were rumors swirling because I think it was filmed in 2021.
18:04So this was still at peak COVID. The vaccine hadn't come out until like the summer. And I think when they were filming the video, it was in and around the time the vaccine had just come out. So Taylor had requested that anyone on the set needed to be vaccinated. And I think for whatever reason, I don't know if this is like a rumor that ended up being validated or corroborated, but Miles was refusing to get the vaccine. And he kind of caused like a huge disturbance on the set for being the only one refusing. So it's kind of like that. I didn't know that, but I remember his GQ interview in whatever year that was.
18:36Notorious GQ interview, which he recently spoke on. He was like, I stopped doing interviews after that because I realized that the writer can portray me any way they want. Yes. And he just came off as such a dick. He was really cocky. He had the writer, like, cut his meat for him. Like, he was just, like, very entitled. It was very bizarre, but he spoke about this recently. And it was kind of like a Streisand effect where everyone was like resurfacing it. And it was like, yeah, you did not come across well here. It kind of reminds me of that John Mayer Rolling Stone interview where he talks about him and Jessica Simpson's sexual napalm.
19:09Yeah. I remember when he said that, me and my college girlfriends were like, if anyone said that about me, it's the highest honor. Like, I get that. To be sexual napalm to someone. Yeah. Yeah. Like, we understand it's misogynistic. I understand that. And he also said that his dick was a white supremacist. So, like, it was very problematic outside of that. Yeah. That interview was incredibly problematic. I think it's much different because I don't think Miles Teller was being misogynistic or racist in the interview. But yeah, he came off cocky and arrogant and people don't like that and they're celebrities.
19:37We want to see humility. Yeah. So how did Kelly meet her husband? According to Miles Teller, I've watched several interviews where he's recounted this very recently in the last year. So he said, yeah, I was at a bar where the Black Keys were playing. It was during Grammy's week in 2013. She had just turned 20. I think I was about 25. I saw her and visually I was like, that is the most beautiful girl I had ever seen. And I was so confident at that age. I was cocky and I hit on her and I thought it went okay, but I really don't think it went really well. And I went outside and I thought I bombed my opening.
20:07And I saw her come outside and look for me. So I was like, hell yeah, like I'm back on. And I grabbed her hand. We started dancing together. And, you know, I'm a great dancer. He was talking to Andy Cohen. And Andy Cohen's like, yeah, you are a great dancer. You and I shared a dance once. Your Andy Cohen impression. I'm Andy Cohen and I got a kid. I'm a dad. I'm a dad. And Miles said, I tried to kiss Kelly. And she said, no, I just met you. And, you know, even though I thought she gave me the look, she denied me. I asked for her number that night. Originally, she had said no. and then because I think she said no because she found out I was an actor.
20:40And yeah, LA was not the best for her as a young, attractive girl. People are all in showbiz or douchey. And I went outside and 30 minutes after I thought she'd already left, she was still waiting for her car at ballet. So I put my jacket on her and I thought she liked that. Oh, wait, no, what I like in this quote, he says, I put my jacket on her and she liked that shit. Yeah, that's literally what I was like transcribing it. As I was watching this interview, I think she liked that shit. And what I think is really interesting is when he talks about Kelly in both the Andy Cohen interview that I watched and the Theo Vaughn interview that I watched, I think literally within weeks of one another, he continues to say how frequently him and Kelly are together.
21:15He said in both interviews, Kelly is with me from the moment I wake up and open my eyes to the moment I fall asleep. And even when I'm filming on location, she's with me. I mean, there are moments when I go to the gym and we don't see each other, but she's literally with me 24-7. And I thought that was a little interesting because I'm like, what do you mean she's with you 24-7? Honestly, like kind of goals. Oh, hell yeah. Are you kidding? But I think this comes down to also the fact that she doesn't really have an identity outside of being Miles Teller's wife and being like an actor wag, which honestly is fine.
21:47Like, there's nothing inherently wrong with that. But it is interesting how much they talk about she's always on set with him and she follows him from location to location. It's like, do you have a life outside of your husband? It doesn't seem like it. Yeah. And I think this is kind of called into question because we've talked about this a lot on the podcast, but I think part of life is having a purpose. And I'm not saying she's purposeless, but it seems as if she doesn't really have many things going on except being a professional, yeah, like you said, whack. And I think that may explain, you know, why she has a lot of time on her hands and why she may be appearing erratic on social media.
22:24Because, like, she doesn't have a lot of time. She has a lot of time to do kind of nothing. She vacations. She hangs out. She's Miles Teller's wife. But then how does she fill her time? And it may be—it kind of gives a little bit of, like, 1950s housewife a bit. And we'll get into it towards the end of the episode. But the way that her eyes are glazed over and the way that she slurs her speech, people are saying, is she so bored that she is potentially or allegedly— A 50s housewife. Yes, exactly. You're kind of medicating because you don't know what else to do. You have nothing else to do, yeah.
22:55Yeah, so I think it just makes sense why her behavior is the way it is, considering she doesn't have a lot to do with her days and her hours. So Miles and her were engaged on a safari in South Africa in August of 2017. And Miles tied a rose to a tree with the dates 5-11-2013 to August 20th, 2017, and telling her, This was the first day I asked you to be my girlfriend, and today was the last day you woke up as my girlfriend. And she posted a picture of this huge rock in South Africa. And they were married in September of 2019 at a Catholic ceremony in Maui at the Ritz-Carlton. And Kygo was their DJ.
Read the full transcript
23:30And Kygo is kind of like a recurring character in their lives. Most notably, Kygo started that palm tree crew. It's like some kind of investing business that he has with these two as well as Alex Oral, which explains why they're kind of seen with Alex Earl. They just hang out a lot in like the same business circles. And do you remember when Miles Teller got the shit beat out of him in Maui because apparently they didn't pay their wedding planner? And he was like beat up by gangsters, you know, or whatever. That was crazy. And I remember Kelly kind of speaking on this publicly and was like, Miles was attacked and it's not funny and it has nothing to do with money.
24:07But I would love to know that story because that's never been confirmed as to what actually happened. All we know is Miles Taylor was cornered in a bathroom. It's kind of scary. It reminds me of Nathan Euphoria, right? Yeah, I mean, he owed money. Got to pay up. And Taylor Swift, at the time, she could not attend the wedding, but she wrote a note with flowers that read, Dear Kelly and Miles, may you always be this close forever and ever. How do we know that? Did she post it? Kelly posted it. Oh, yeah, that's embarrassing. Kelly loves to post anything related to Taylor Swift. And again, it goes back to the clout-chasey, celebrity, thirsty person that she is.
24:43And kind of a lot of it is a little bit relatable. As famous as she kind of is and as famous and wealthy as her husband is, she still is not above clout-chasing. Do you know what I mean? It's like you have it all. You have everything to prove that you were kind of that girl, but you still kind of have to publicly show everyone how close you are to Taylor, how close you are to Glenn Powell, how close you are to Nina Dobrev, how close you are to Alex Earl. It just becomes a little bit cringe. Yeah. A lot of people, as I mentioned at the beginning of the episode, speculate that Miles' constant mentioning of his wife in interviews is PR.
25:14Because there's rumors that he's been difficult to work with and trying to make it seem like he's some kind of nice guy. He's like a wife guy. Yeah. And in November of 2025, he had a movie with, I think, Callum Turner and Elizabeth Olsen. And they did this. Eternity. Yeah, Eternity. Which I heard was really good. I still haven't watched it, but I heard it's amazing. I think it's on HBO Max. and Callum and Elizabeth Olsen were interviewing him for press for the movie. And Miles, he was like, listen, Kelly posting on Instagram is not something I'm super comfortable with. And people are like, what do you mean?
25:46That's all she does. Like her job is to post you on Instagram. And he notably is not on Instagram. I'm sure he has a Finsta, but like he doesn't post as himself publicly. And Miles said, quote, it's like, I have no way of even knowing what she's posted. But I think it's great. You know, personally, it's not something I'm super comfortable with. but I think that it's nice for people to get a little bit of insight here and there of our life as a couple, which we really enjoy. You mean she really enjoys it? I don't think you really enjoy it, but you kind of let her have her thing because she doesn't have a job.
26:13So her job is to post on Instagram. Yeah, she doesn't like have anything else. Right. Quick question. Why are sports bras so hard to shop for? I unfortunately have had very bad shaving experiences, from red bumps and ingrown hairs to cuts and razor burn.
27:25But just because I'm a hairy Jewish girl does not mean I have to settle for a horrible shaving experience. And as soon as I discovered Flamingo, I realized I don't have to suffer any longer. Seriously, I've been a fan of Flamingo since before they became a podcast sponsor. With Flamingo, my leg shaving experience is smooth, gentle, and luxurious, not bumpy, rough, and painful. Also, the shave is so close. I used to immediately feel stubble after getting out of the shower. Literally, I'm not exaggerating. It was immediate. And now, just silky smoothness. Flamingo razors feel like they're working with my body and the contours of my legs instead of against them, and it makes all the difference.
28:01Finally, shaving is a ritual I enjoy rather than dread. The best part about Flamingo, these razors are made for women by women. These aren't men's razors made pink. They're specifically designed for girlies like us to be able to easily grip and use. Their starter set has everything you could possibly need. Flamingo's Original razor, a facial dermaplane razor, my personal favorite, foaming shave gel, and a shower holder. All for just$7 if you're a baby snark. Yes, you heard that right. You know when you're doing everything right, but you still kind of feel off working out, eating healthy, getting enough sleep, but I still feel like I'm not 100%. What gives? Well, things like low energy, mood swings, or just feeling run down. A lot of that can come from not getting the right nutrients consistently.
29:08And believe it or not, most of us have small gaps in our nutrition, especially with busy schedules. That's what led me to First Day Multivitamins for Women. They contain a blend of 21 organic superfoods and 9 key vitamins, all in 2, delicious by the way, daily gummy vitamins. They simplify everything, with no added sugars, artificial dyes, or anything unnecessary. I also love how transparent First Day is about ingredients, and everything is tested for 200 plus toxins. So they invested in Finnish Long Drink Canned Cocktail, which was eventually sold to White Claw's parent Mark Anthony Group in April 2026 for a reported$325 million.
30:23And of course, Kelly, being Kelly, had to post it on her Instagram. Do you want to read this Instagram caption? Excited to announce our very first company we created has been acquired by Mark Anthony, but we're just getting started. That one? Yeah. Wait, but like they didn't create that company. They invested in it. Yeah. Right. And people were saying it's such a it's kind of a misleading headline because, yeah, the sale, the transaction was three hundred and twenty five million. It's not like you yourself are collecting three hundred and twenty five million. No, you invested. You were an investor.
30:53Yeah. Whatever it is, they definitely made bank for sure. But this is Kelly. She loves to just post like it's kind of tacky. I don't think I've ever seen Alex Earl post, you know, Alex Earl Spotify deal for one hundred and sixty million. Maybe she did. Please get that again. Please don't fact check me on that. I don't know. Maybe she did, but it just shows it's very much in your face, I think, and people get a little tired of it. Well, it goes back to that, like, flaunting her wealth. She posted Miles Teller, Hollywood Reporter headline that says, Miles Teller cashes out on canned cocktail company in$325 million sale.
31:26Right. Like, it's like, oh, you are flaunting that you just made millions. Right. And it's like, we get it. Like, we already know that you're wealthy. Yeah. You're married to a Hollywood actor. Like, you're wealthy. You don't need to like throw it in our faces, I guess. But like, I mean, again, like there's nothing like she's she's proud of it, I guess. And there's nothing inherently wrong with it. It's just kind of like, OK, like weird. Yeah, I think that's exactly it. There's something inherently wrong with it. But I think it's it's constant with her. And I don't find a lot of celebrities. No.
31:57The first person that comes to mind is Alex Earl because she's invested in a lot of things. Poppy, Sip Marg, you've never seen her. You know, she had a huge, huge payout when Poppy got purchased by Coca-Cola. You didn't see her posting like this because she doesn't need to tell anyone she's wealthy. Yeah, it's like we know. Yeah, her celebrity speaks for itself. So I just think it's a little bit tacky. It's almost like, what are you trying to prove? Exactly. I think what exactly are you getting to? It makes me think like actually like, oh, are you not as wealthy as you purport to be? Because actually wealthy people don't need to shove it in our faces.
32:31Exactly. It's quiet because they don't want people to know how much money they actually have. Right. So I think speaking of wealthy people, Kelly and Miles have tight connections with very wealthy people who I feel like don't really care to be famous, but are in famous circles. So most notably, do you know who Brad Garlinghouse is? Okay. So the only reason Brad Garlinghouse came across my desk was because New Year's Eve going into 2026, Nina, Glenn Powell, Miles, Kelly, Alex Earl. Remember when they were all on that yacht in like the South of France? I don't know exactly where they were. I think it was St.
33:02Bart's. St. Bart's. Yes, thank you. That yacht was chartered by Brad and Tara Garlinghouse. And if you guys don't know who Brad is, he's an American businessman and CEO of Ripple Labs, which is a fintech company specializing in cryptocurrency. And he used to be a CEO and chairman of Hytale. And earlier in his career, he had executive roles at AOL and Yahoo. He's like an older gentleman. Like, he's done a lot with his career. And in September of 2025, Brad married Tara. And at that wedding, Zac Efron, Miles Teller, Nina Dobrev were all in attendance. And remember when those pap photos surfaced of Nina and Zach hanging out on that yacht in the fall?
33:36That was at this wedding, Brad and Tara's wedding. And Brad Garlinghouse is a strategic backer and investor in Alex Earle's Sip Margs, which makes the New Year's Eve party less odd. It's kind of like a networking event, like times a million. It's the same people that invest in the same companies that are all friends and hang out on yachts. I feel like we could do an entire episode on Brad Garlinghouse that like fascinates me. Very interesting. Yeah. It's kind of like, I'm trying to think who that would be. It's kind of like how Jeff Bezos is always tagging himself on to the genres. Oh, no. You know who it reminds me of kind of is like Michael Rubin.
34:12It's like you're like a billionaire, so automatically you want to surround yourself with the biggest celebrities in the world. That's a way better analogy because Jeff Bezos, everyone knows who Jeff Bezos is. No one really, unless you're in pop culture like you and I, you don't know who Brad Garlinghouse is or Michael Rubin. Yeah, you don't really like care about Michael Rubin unless you're from Philadelphia or you're into sports or you follow pop culture like us. Otherwise, it's like, who are you? Right. And who is Michael Rubin? Like genuinely, I know who I know his name. What does he do? Do you know?
34:47Isn't he like the CEO of Fabletics, like the founder of Fabletics? Or not Fabletics, not Fabletics, Fanatics. Not Fabletics, that's Hudson. Right, right, right, right. Fanatics, yes. A global digital sports plot, yes. Yes. Okay. I love how I pick up Fabletics and Fanatics. No, but that's an easy... It cannot be more different. No, right, but it's the word. It's the F and the kind of Fanatics, Fabletics. DuPas, Duclaw. Right. Right. Speaking of business ventures, she recently launched at Shop Kelly Teller and, excuse me, a pajama line called Kelly Teller. And it's a direct-to-consumer luxury loungewear.
35:23It includes silk pajama sets, robes, hair wraps, and sets run from$129 to$172. And I looked at the - But they're not even silk. They're like polyester. Yeah. They're 95 % viscose and 5 % spandex. Per the brand's about page, Kelly began designing this collection while creating her dream home, bringing the colors and patterns she loved into each space. When that home was lost in the Palisades fire, these designs became more than pajamas. They became a cherished reminder of beauty, comfort, and the little luxuries that make life feel like home. And each fabric is named after her grandmothers, Rose, Grace, and Leona.
35:58And the most interesting part that I didn't even know about is that when she announced this pajama line, it was the same day that Life of a Showgirl was announced. Wow. It was released. Sorry, was released. So you think that was intentional? A hundred percent. Everything that Taylor Swift does, and especially Kelly Teller being as close to Taylor Swift as she once was, is so intentional. Like, I feel like Kelly Teller knew exactly what she was doing. And it wasn't to spite Taylor, I don't think. I think it was more to drum up sales and have people even talking about it. It was just to, like, boost her SEO, have people talking about it.
36:30It's like, wait, did you see that Kelly Teller's pajama line was dropped the same day as Life of a Showgirl? How crazy is that? Then, of course, you go on to the shopkellyteller.com website to see the pajamas for yourself because you're interested in what it is, what all the fuss is about. Yeah, it was 100 % intentional. Wow. And speaking of Taylor Swift, they've low-key been friends for far longer than I realize. They came onto my radar, like I said, on the music video in 2021. Little did I know they've been friends for over a decade, since 2014 to 2015. and Kelly Taylor kind of came up around the time when Taylor Swift was really into her girl group, her girl squad.
37:06That included like Blake Lively, Carly Closs, Martha Hunt, Selena Gomez, Jessica Zor. And the first known image of the two of them together was in January of 2014 where Taylor and Kelly both attended a bowling astro party following the premiere of That Awkward Moment, which interestingly enough, starred Michael B. Jordan, Zac Efron, and Miles Taylor, which by the way, have you seen that movie? No, I haven't. Fantastic movie. I think I saw it in theaters. It's so good. And Kelly tweets a photo of Taylor and herself with Jessica Zor that appears to be taken at said after party. And the caption on X or formerly known as Twitter says, happy birthday, T-Swizzle.
37:43March 3rd, 2015, Kelly attends Camille Cabello's 18th birthday party hosted by Taylor Swift. And she has two photos of her on Instagram from this party. One is a picture of Kelly and Meredith Taylor's cat. The other is a photo of Kelly, Selena Gomez and Megan Mitchell. and Megan Mitchell is a chef and is one of Diana Agron's best friends who people say Taylor was once romantically linked to. August 2015, Kelly attends at least one of the 1989 tour stops in LA. I went to that show. I wonder if she was at the one I was there. I was at and she posted a picture of her hanging out backstage with Taylor in her dressing room.
38:15She shares two photos on Instagram, but later changes the caption of one of them. And can you read, do you see where I'm at, where my mouse is at? Like read the original caption that she later just changed to tea exclamation point wait i don't i'm i'm do you see the august 25th i'll read it it says okay a night i will never forget sitting in the superhuman dressing room and picking up an alley outfit while she calmly sips coffee and thousands of people are screaming in excitement above her she just loves to show off yeah she was like i was a taylor swift's dressing room you guys weren't yeah no exactly the fact that she changed it just to tea makes it seem like taylor was like what the Yeah, take it down.
38:54Stop being weird. Like you're such a fangirl. In May 2018, Kelly shared a photo with Taylor, Miles, and two other people who I don't know backstage at a rep show in Pasadena. And she later edited the caption. So I don't know what the original caption was. But the caption is now a red heart with a red scarf. Obviously a nod to All Too Well. 2018 this is kind of interesting so kelly is often posting kind of easter eggs to taylor songs that are unreleased so for example 2018 uh kelly posts this photo on instagram with the caption cruel summer which it's unclear whether or not that was a nod to taylor's upcoming song on her upcoming album called lover in 2019 although that's like maybe a common phrase ish but i feel like that's not a coincidence maybe she knew that taylor was releasing a song called cruel summer and then of course, she drops her own Easter egg with a caption saying that exact song name.
39:45September 2019 is Kelly and Miles' wedding. And as I mentioned, Taylor did not attend, but she posts a picture of the flowers that Taylor gave to her as well as the note and post it to her stories because like, of course she does. In July 2020, Taylor sends Kelly a folklore cardigan and she shares a photo of that cardigan that Taylor sent her. And people say that she edited the caption, but it potentially contains a Midnight's Easter egg that would have been posted 360 days before Midnight's was released. And people were like, wait, she has in the caption the term hits different, which obviously is a huge, like very commonly used term.
40:22And hits is capitalized. Yes. Thank you. So I think that is also another Easter egg of hee hee hee hee hee. I know a song that you guys don't know and it's going to be released in 360 days. Do you know what I mean? It's like, yeah, yeah. She's constantly kind of just like, I don't know, leading us on and telling us, you guys, I'm best friends with Taylor and I know all about her music before you guys do. October of 2022, Miles Teller hosts SNL and Kelly posts TikTok, which seems to be a montage of clips from their time in New York City. And the sound that she uses against her TikTok is daylight live from Paris.
40:53And she shared this photo of a bookshelf. I know, I love that song. She shares this photo of a bookshelf with a reputation tour VIP box and three snow globes that Taylor had once sold as merch. It was a lover house, life was a willow and the Christmas tree farm. Unclear like where this photo was taken. But again, her fangirling with Taylor Swift's merch. May 2023, Kelly photographs herself at an era show in New Jersey with Robert Pattinson, Julia Garner, Suki Waterhouse, Aaron Rodgers. Obviously, Miles was there. And they're backstage with Taylor at the MetLife Stadium. And it appears that Kelly, Miles, and Aaron are at two different shows because they're photographed two separate times wearing two separate outfits, both in New Jersey.
41:30So, you know, she's just so close to Twitter that she attends both. I was like, what is Aaron Rodgers' connection? I forgot that he, when he was dating Shailene Woodley, him and Miles and Kelly would like go to Hawaii together and like hike through waterfalls. Yes. Miles and Shailene are very close because they were in, well, my favorite movie, The Spectacular Now. And I think a couple other movies as well. But can we talk about Shailene Woodley really quickly? Did you see that interview that surfaced of her talking glowingly about Ansel Elgort? Was that recent? Yes. Everyone was like, read the fucking room, bitch.
42:05like she was like ansel and i met on the set of the fault in our stars and i think they had been acquainted before then no sorry sorry they were on the divergent series together and they were close then and then they both got cast in fault in our stars and they played romantic love interest on that movie and shailene's like the reason why that movie resonated with so many people was because we really were in love like as friends she's like that guy is my brother before we started filming faults in our stars we would have late nights just drinking wine and talking when we We were filming Divergent and it created such a close bond and he'll always be my brother.
42:36And everyone's like, stop it. Like, even if that's true, stop talking about it. Yeah, that's not something you should tell anyone. He's a freak. That's not something you should broadcast. He's a pedophile. Guys, listen to our Ansel Elgort episode. I was about to say interview. No, we did not interview Ansel Elgort. Listen to our deep dive on him. He's the worst. So Shailene Woodley, she's very close with a lot of her male co-stars, Miles included in The Pedophile. October 11th, 2023. This is so cringe. So you know when Taylor Swift released her Ares movie in theaters? So I think on opening day, Taylor showed up to a movie theater.
43:12Kelly was right alongside her. And Kelly was posting all these TikToks live of them just like singing along to Taylor's songs. And Taylor was like rocking out to her own music, whatever. Kelly, for what? I don't know how. She obtained this footage of someone like in the theater, but on the lower level, like taking videos of her and Taylor just like singing. And she posted it all over her Instagram for like three minutes. And she took a picture of her and Taylor at the end of the movie premiere. Kelly's crying. Taylor's kissing her on the forehead. And Kelly captions it. You booked the night train for a reason.
43:44Sad face. What song is that from again? Booked the night train for a reason. and champagne problems. Yes, yes. And something about Kelly is she loves posting Instagram photos with Taylor Swift lyrics. Do you see? Oh my God. Wait, it's kind of like scary at this point. It's giving five, a stage five glimpse. It's like bunny boiler. Like you're obsessed with her. Okay, so she'll patch up your tapestry that I shred. What, now I want to match the lyrics of the song. That's a tolerate it. Tolerate it. I was going to say tolerate it, I swear. Yeah. Girls carrying their shoes down in the lobby. I have no idea.
44:21New Year's Day. New Year's Day. Please don't ever become a stranger whose laugh I could recognize anywhere. Please don't ever become strange. New Year's Day, I think. New Year's Day. It is New Year's Day. Okay, yeah. This is fun. This is fun. Riviera View, Holy Ground. Holy Ground. That's a song of hers. We had this big, wide city all to ourselves. Swifties are screaming. We had this big, wide city. We had this big, wide city. We had this big, wide city all. Holy Ground. Holy Ground. Okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Chose the Rose Garden over Madison Square. Oh, my God. This is going to bother me. It is The Lucky One.
44:57Oh, I hate that song. It's a horrible song. I like, yeah, I don't even know that song. I bet You're Sitting in a Chair by the Window. You're Sitting in a Chair by the Window is I Almost Do. Oh, that's a classic. Yeah. Almost Do. Yeah. A lot of these are red. Lucky One, Holy Ground. Fairies? Almost Do. But like moral of the story is it's creepy. I'm scared. No, like I can see why Taylor distanced herself. Like this is a little much. Like you're supposed to. It's great to be a supportive friend and like fangirl over your successful friend. But like this is too much. I would be scared. And just so we're clear, I think my sister is probably one of the biggest Swifties ever.
45:41I don't think she's ever quoted as many lyrics as this. Like this is a little bit odd. I'm going to have to go back in Audrey's Instagram and see how many Taylor Swift lyric captions she's used. Yeah. You know, I was just thinking, too, it's like, you know, those people that attend secret sessions and Taylor's team, like, hand selects them to come to her house to listen to, like, the unrecorded songs or the unreleased songs. I feel like those people don't even have as much of a fan obsession as Kelly Taylor. Yeah. And most people, like, devote their lives. I know. A girl I went to high school with.
46:08Really? Yeah. She went to one of those. And she has a picture on her Instagram of her at Taylor's. Yeah. I think she listens to the pod. Oh my. You know who you are. Oh my God. I'm obsessed. That's really cool. When she has it pinned on her Instagram. Oh my God. You have to send that to me. Oh, queen, queen, queen, queen, queen. Oh my God. And the caption is, and I don't know how it gets better than this. I mean, it probably doesn't if you're Swifty. Like it doesn't get better than hanging out with Taylor Swift. Okay. So when she posted about her and Miles being in the, I bet you think about me.
46:47Music video, where Kelly's the bride of Miles as the groom. She said, story behind this. I washed on as Miles and Taylor did the stunning dance sequence since Taylor played all too well a 10-minute version for me during. It was a moment. We remained indeed. I will be your invisible bride any day. Taylor texted me on, you guessed it, the 13th of a certain month and asked if she could borrow Miles for a project. And I said, absolutely, whatever you need. That's how this all came together. She's an angel. And Blake, you were a beautiful genius. creative director of life. We had so much fun. Hope you guys enjoyed.
47:17Just like, you know, I'm annoyed because I'm jealous. Okay, I'll just own it. I'm jealous, okay? But I'm not going to be that much that weird. Like, take a fucking breather for a second. Like, it's just too much. You know what, 100%. Like, it's weird. Kelly, I think the most viral moment of their friendship was, of course, the 2024 Golden Globes. And this is when everything changed, in my opinion. How could we forget when Selena Gomez came over to their table and she was gossiping to Taylor and Kelly. And Kelly mouths, Timothy? You need to be more discreet when you're at the freaking Golden Globes with the A-listers.
47:51With Taylor Swift, we're literally, there are lip readers everywhere, cameras in Taylor's face 24-7. In my opinion, Kelly knew better and she knew what she was doing and I think she was trying to be messy because she seemed a little bit messy. And she was trying to get like press, probably. Exactly. And of course, Lena took to Instagram and said, no, I told Taylor about two of my friends who hooked up. Not that that's anyone's business. Bullshit. 100 % we all know that you and Timothy hooked up on the set of A Rainy Day in New York that Woody Allen movie. Wait, they did? I didn't even know that.
48:19Yes, yes. You said we all know that. I'm like, I didn't know. Oh my God, I feel so special. I knew something that you don't know. Yeah, so they were in that movie together. Did you see it? It was horrible coming from me. No, and also Woody Allen, like it never ended up getting any buzz because everyone was like, why the fuck are you guys working with Woody Allen? Exactly, exactly. It was a horrible movie. Elle Fanning, timothy chalamet selena gomez and this is so niche but i remember and i remember in 2020 when selena when everyone was going on ig live selena gomez and timothy chalamet did an instagram live together okay and of course me like quarantine in my house i was like oh guess i'll tune in okay i grabbed some wine i grabbed some wine and popcorn and i was sad it's like all right so i have some appointment television for me going on right now and timothy was on yeah my show was on Timothy was in line to vote and he had a mask on and Selena Gomez was just like eating popcorn.
49:11She was with her friend and they were just like gabbing. They were just like they were being funny and like just normal on Instagram. Nothing really was spilled, but they definitely had like a good rapport and friendship at one point. And I have no doubt. Oh, they were going live like separately, but together. Yes, yes, yes. Okay. Sorry, sorry. I actually do remember this happening. Yeah. I always wonder like who is sitting down like watching Instagram live, Christy? I don't care who it is. I don't have the attention span. And I usually get bored after like three minutes. But when it's Selena Gomez, I will save for the entire damn thing.
49:41I'm just sitting there. You know, I put my phone up on my little stand. She poured a glass of wine. Yeah. She projects it onto her TV. What's that called when you airplay it? Yeah, when you like screen mirror it on your TV. No, literally obsessed with it. And yeah, I have no doubt that she was, Selena was telling Taylor and Kelly that Kylie didn't want Timothy to take a picture with Selena. Like 100%. Yeah, I think at that point they were still new to dating and maybe Kylie was a little like, come on, just don't take a picture with my man. And the fact that Selena went out and like backtracked and was trying to like course correct it seemed like they were trying to like cover something up.
50:19One million percent. You cannot convince me that something else happened other than what we all think. Like, yeah. Okay, this I think. So the Golden Globes thing happened in 2024. And the last time Kelly and Taylor were ever photographed publicly together was, like I said at the beginning, the Super Bowl sweep with Ice Spice and Blake Lively in February of 2024. And do you remember Ring Gate with Travis Kelsey, Dumois, Kelly Taylor, and Taylor Swift? Wait, the ring that she gifted Taylor and she posted about? Yes. So Taylor was seen donning this opal and topaz ring, and it was humongous, huge rock on her finger.
50:53And Dumois, this is around the time her and Travis still were like kind of new. and Dumois posted, oh my God, I think this ring is from Travis. Like rumor on the streets is that Travis gifted her this ring. They just started dating. It's getting serious. And Kelly posts a picture of the ring and she goes, love this ring I had made for my friend. She's bejeweled. So to all media outlets and Melissa Dumois, here you go. So she's calling out Melissa Lovallo, who people say is Dumois. Oh my God. Dispelling rumors. She was like mad. And she also had a gif here of Taylor Swift. Oh, I didn't even notice that.
51:27Oh my God, I didn't even see that. You're right. She's weird. And it's like publicly dispelling rumors. And if you guys know anything about Taylor Swift's team, unless it's something very severe, she never talks publicly about rumors. She never claps back at rumors. And also like you give a gift to someone because you want to give them someone. You don't give a gift to someone so that you can take credit later. That's actually such a good point, Sophie. And I think this is a large reason why Taylor got annoyed. Like that actually I think is nail on the head. Why are you showing? I went, is this ring for me because you enjoy our friendship and you want to gift me a really nice birthday gift?
52:01Or is it to make you look good? Yeah. Exactly. And it doesn't get any better because four months later after the ring thing happened, Kelly publicly shades Taylor Swift's ex, Joe Alwyn. She posts a screenshot of So Long London and a peace sign emoji. Stop doing that. Because remember when Joe Alwyn and when did they break up? I think it was April 22nd. Taylor split. Wasn't it 2023? No, early 2023. Oh, my God. I thought it was in 2024. Okay, sorry. April 2023 is when they ended. So a year later, like I think it was the month that, yeah, because Tortured Poets was released in April 2024. So the month that she released TTPD, she posted a screenshot of So Long London with a peace sign.
52:42It's like, stop. Taylor is notoriously known for not ever confirming which songs are about who. Ever. Like she will be asked and she will not say anything. So it's like, we all know So Long London is about Joe, but stop like feeding into these rumors with a peace sign. Like you're creating noise for Taylor that is unwarranted and not asked for. If me asking, acting as if I know Taylor personally, but like she is just known to not say anything about which song is about what. And she would always, so I think like after the ring thing happened and the So Long London thing happened, I think most notably the ring thing, she just stops posting Taylor-centric content.
53:18She would constantly post captions, as we mentioned. She would constantly post Taylor songs behind her TikToks and her videos. She just completely goes AWOL. Six months ago recently, she posted a Cornelia Street TikTok and everyone was like, oh my God, you're posting about Taylor again? Like what's going on in this world? And she liked to comment of people like kind of asking questions about it. They're like, wait, you're posting about Taylor. What's going on? And people are saying people will believe anything. When the truth comes out, it's quiet. It's so quiet. And someone responded, honestly, people have every reason to question it.
53:48Kelly was posting Taylor constantly, sharing photos, using her music in every TikTok and then suddenly nothing for months. It's pretty much a scream friendship breakup. And someone else responds, pretty sure the woman lost her damn home in a fire. I roll emoji. I think there's way more things going on in her life than Taylor Swift. Good Lord. Kelly Taylor hurts the comment. Again, just like giving into the speculation. And what I thought was interesting that I didn't even realize was Miles Taylor appeared on New Heights in November of 2025. So maybe there was some sort of private olive branch extended.
54:18because if Taylor's fiance or boyfriend at the time was posting with Kelly's husband, we can assumably think that they are good. But it seems as if Taylor doesn't really want anything to do with her publicly anymore. There definitely seems to be a change. But yeah, maybe behind the scenes they're, you know, okay. It just seems like, yeah, like you said, maybe Taylor was like, you need to stop using me for clout. Yes. Yes. And let's see. Oh, yeah. What I was going to say is that for anyone that says, oh, this is so conspiratorial, this has nothing to do with, like, one thing does not have to do with the other.
54:51For someone like Kelly, who is so online, her job is virtually to be online, to post her life, to post her husband's life, to post of all the fabulous celebrities she's hanging out with. She was doing that just five months ago on the New Year's Eve trip. She was posting Glenn Powell, Michelle Randolph, Alex Earle. I don't feel like any of them, well, I guess Alex Earle was posting. But she makes an effort to, she goes out of her way to post these really big celebrities to show everyone she's hanging out with this crew. She's done this with Taylor times a million. And for you to do it consistently all up until 2024 and all of a sudden it goes silent, something 100 % happened.
55:24And I feel like, as we mentioned at the beginning of the episode, Tree, who is Taylor's publicist, probably told her, Kelly, she's moving her mouth too much on social media. She's giving in to these internet theories and speculation. And part of your brand is to not give in to any of that. And it's becoming incredibly messy. It's a liability. Yeah, exactly. It's a liability. publicly distance yourself from her and taylor is so curated with how she presents herself to the public everything is so orchestrated and engineered so that like it appears so perfectly pristine and veneered so i think that taylor kelly was just messing it up for taylor and i think especially when she was at the height of her fame and the height of her game with the heiress war that started in 2023 kelly was friends with her up until like a year into that nothing could stop Taylor.
56:11Like she didn't want any, any noise, I think surrounding that for her. She was like, I've never been this famous and this relevant and this well-beloved as now. So God forbid, Kelly makes one more mistake and gives into the stupid Dumois rumors. Like that's so dumb. The only time she's ever engaged with Dumois is when Dumois said that Taylor and Joe had a private wedding reception. Tree Payne for the first time, or maybe it was Taylor, I forget, publicly denounced that rumor. They're like, we're sick of all this Dumois shit saying that we had a wedding reception. we didn't end it right now. That was the only time they've ever spoken publicly about Dumas' rumors.
56:45And they're like, God forbid we talked from the wedding reception to like a rumor about the Topaz ring. Like it's just so lowbrow for them, I feel. Oh, totally. Like hearing all of this, I completely understand why there seems to be a distance now. Yeah, and I feel like Kelly, knowing the industry well enough, especially her husband being who he is and being friends with so many celebrities, I feel like she should know better. And then when you're playing with Taylor Swift, that's a whole different ballgame. Who's not like any celebrity. No. She is in a league of her own. She is one of one. She is one of one.
57:16I think that, okay, so what I will say is I know someone whose family member is very close with her, like vacations with her and everything. And she has created such a, I think Taylor has created such an insular type of world for herself. We're like, she's not even living really in the right, in the same atmosphere as any of us, really. And she's created that by design. So she's not, God forbid she has anyone like penetrate this world that she's created. And I'm not saying like this person was talking about Kelly Teller, just in general. She's created such an insular world where in so much wealth where she doesn't have to care about the noise, which she really shouldn't because she needs to protect her peace.
57:53Yeah, exactly. Like she has to not only protect her peace, but protect her brand. Yeah. And I think that is completely understandable. And she has the means to, right? Like she doesn't have to fly commercial. Yeah. She doesn't she doesn't have to live a life that is anything like a regular person like she can orchestrate this entire like you said a different just world for herself. And she has to be protective over it because and I and I think obviously there are some things that I think are like a little obnoxious. Like, could she I actually don't think she could fly commercial. I don't know.
58:29I was gonna say she can't. It's like a safety concern, I think, actually, for the airport. Yeah, I think it would be a safety concern. But I think that she it is like a liability to have people that will spill her secrets or leak things to the press. Like, I think it is literally a liability for her. Yeah. And that's not being dramatic. Like, I don't think it's just like bad PR. It could be dangerous for her. Yes, I completely agree. And people often, I think we're getting a bit more into Taylor Swift territory, but I think it has to be said that like people demand her to speak on social issues and things that are happening in the world.
59:01And I completely understand like people getting upset when she does it. I get that because people are so parasocial with her from what she created. She created that parasocialness. But I think from her, it's becoming, she's become so big that for her to speak on anything publicly could potentially be dangerous for her. And I think she's had, she just is in a league of her own. And I think when you're talking about someone like her of her celebrity, Kelly Teller being as messy as she is on social media and doing these things is like so below her. And I think she keeps such a close circle. She knows when things are linked and who it's coming from.
59:33Yeah. And I think like a good example would be the fact that Kelly is, like we said, always erratically posting on Instagram. It's like she doesn't know if she could post her location in real time. Like that is an example of how it could be dangerous. I don't think it's being dramatic to say that it could be dangerous for her. Yeah, that's actually a really good point because I could see Kelly, maybe she has too much champagne or whatever, and she accidentally posts something, and it could be dangerous for Taylor. So, yeah, I completely understand Taylor maybe liking Kelly as a person, but feeling like she's too messy to be around anymore, especially at this point in her life.
1:00:09So, do you remember when Miles was interviewed on the red carpet? And this was just in October of last year. Someone asked him, oh, will you be invited to Taylor and Travis's wedding? and he got super cagey. I don't know. This is going to be, I imagine, one impressive wedding. And that's all he said. So to me, that is such an indicator that they are not as good as they are. That's a tell. No pun intended. Agreed. If there's one refresh worth making this summer, it's your bedding. Trust me. Summer nights always leave me wanting bedding that feels lighter, more breathable, etc., etc. And Quince has been my go-to for so long now.

It's matte, smooth, and just has this classic look that instantly elevates our bedroom. And I love knowing that we're sleeping on 100 % cotton and not some cheap polyester blend. Ugh. You can literally feel the difference. I also love their mulberry silk pillowcases and eye masks.

They, okay, so let's move on to the Palisades fire. So unfortunately, in January of 2025, Miles and Kelly lost their home in the Palisades fire. And Kelly posted a shot of their burning home as she was leaving from her car window captioned, Snap this driving out, Pacific Palisades, I love you beyond measure.
1:06:23You are a little slice of heaven. We'll come back stronger than ever. And remember when she publicly mourned her wedding dress that she lost in the fires. And Miles was so sweet to re-gift that to her about a year later. And fortunately, they were able to purchase a three-story, six-bedroom,$17.8 million replacement home nearby the original home. And someone, I don't even know how people get this, but they posted a report saying, this couple just purchased a$17.8 million Palisades replacement home. And Kelly commented, of course, how did you get this info? Probably from you. Yeah, you're probably posting house tour, shopping for homes.
1:06:58This is house number five. I actually remember. Yeah, I remember seeing a TikTok of her like dressing room slash wardrobe slash vanity master bathroom. And I was like, oh, my God, goals. And I watched it before I realized it was Kelly Teller posting it. I was like, wow, this is the most stunning thing that I've ever were seeing. And yeah, it was hers. Yeah, I love her home. It was absolutely beautiful. And interestingly enough, Pearson Ward designed it for her and Emma Roberts as well. Her home was designed by Pearson Ward. And if you guys are familiar with their design, it's not like millennial gray, white.
1:07:36It's so much color. Prints, wallpaper. Prints, wallpaper, homey, cozy. It's nothing like any of the normal homes that we're used to seeing. It's just kind of kitschy and fun, which I really, I loved it. Also, this is so off track. I'm sorry. I'm so ADHD today. I told you that I'm watching like early Roni. I just watched the episode where Ramona like reveals her Hamptons home redesign and she butchered it. She butchered that house. Oh, my God. I forgot about that. Yeah, it's totally white. Just white, ugly. Luann's like, there's not a plant in sight. Am I right, girls? Luann kind of gives like a little bit of a Carl voice, you know?
1:08:14Like I kind of want to do Hulk with Luann. Oh, my God. Oh, so I'm sorry. speaking of Carl I was watching the Summer House reunion part one I know by this time again part two will air but were you re-watching it because I watched it twice oh no I I watched it for the first time because I don't have live TV so I was watching it oh that's right on Peacock yeah and Sarah my best friend I will watch it together and we'll text each other and she doesn't listen to Crappens and I was like whatever you do you need we made her listen to Crappens when we were at her house yeah oh my god I was like you need to listen to Ben and Ronnie do their Carl and their Kyle impressions yes yes And I was like, which one?
1:08:49She's like, oh, I finally listened to Below Deck. And I was like, thank you. And she goes, their accents and their impersonations are so good. It's almost scary. It is so fucking funny. Wait, do you listen to Below Deck? No, I don't watch Below Deck, but I think I need to listen to the Below Deck recap just so I can get more. And I feel like I'm obsessed with their Ben impression, like their Australian accent that they do for him. And I feel like Below Deck, they're all Australian. Right, right, right. She was like, it's almost kind of scary. I was like, I have to listen to Summer House because it's so funny.
1:09:17And she goes, now I kind of understand how, like, the whole came about. I was like, Nero, but you need to listen to it. I was like, they make Kyle sound like he can't pronounce things. I was doing it. Amanda. No, that wasn't even good. Like, they're so good. And then Amanda's impression is, Kyle. And I love when they do Britney. Wait, I can't do it. I can't do it. Like a long list or something. Oh, my God. their yuck yuck that they do for her i can't even like attempt to do it like they're masters so funny i don't know how we got here but anyways yeah so okay going finally to her erratic online social media presence so do you remember that really weird spawn con post she said she did she made a tuk-tuk basically proposing that she will give a portion of her profit from brand sponsored content to a follower and she was asking people to engage in tag brands it's giving like Kardashians in 2019 when they would lay out like a billion Louis Vuittons and like pose on the stairwell and say, come and you'll win all this.
1:10:23Yeah, yeah, yeah. What was that about? That was so weird. Like those loop giveaways or whatever, where it's like you have to follow these accounts then you can win all of these Chanel bags. And no one has ever won those giveaways, as far as I'm concerned. They're a scam. They're a scam. About a scam. Yeah. And she accidentally responded to her own TikTok from what people believe that she thought was her burner account. Yes. And she responds, saving this, tag brands, guys. And everyone's like, oh my God, did she not realize she was on her account? It's giving, you're so authentic and real. You're so genuine and real.
1:10:57Genuine, thank you. This screen grab of her, this is what I'm talking about. She scares me. It's eyes glazed over her eyes. She just kind of looks. Yeah. And just the concept of her accidentally commenting from what she thought was her burner account. It's like just so bizarre. I completely know what you mean. It kind of gives me like a chill through my spine. Yeah, it's uncanny. Like it just freaks me out. 1950s housewife. It really is. Like if I could picture what a 1950s housewife would be doing today. Like the lobotomy, Xanax. Lobotomy goals. Yeah. She kind of has lobotomy goals. I know. I know.
1:11:32Like, listen, I talk shit so much and I'm like, if I could switch lives with her, you asked me when and where. Well, It was like she spends every waking moment with her rich actor husband. Where do I sign? Where do I sign up? Illuminati, I'm here. I'm here waiting. It's funny because I'm like, I wouldn't describe Miles Teller as hot. No. But like he's, I think that he's like, I get it. Like he's handsome. Listen, listen. When Spectacular Now came out, I was like, that's my man right there. I loved him. Because he has that attainable hot. He's not Zac Efron. He's not Michael B. Jordan. Yeah, he's like approachable.
1:12:05Yeah. Quintessentially hot, beautiful men. And when a guy is like too handsome or too hot or too muscular, I get grossed out because it's like, ew, you're so vain. Theo James. Too hot. Too pretty. No, Theo James is the exception, actually. Actually, no, you're right. You're absolutely right. I take that back. Because he's like, there's something rugged about Theo James when a guy is like too pretty. I'm like, hmm. Like, I think Zac Efron is a good example. It's like, you're too pretty. You're too ripped. Like, it's just like, hmm, not. No, Zac Efron is a bit more approachable hot. Zac Efron is like model looks.
1:12:37And it's like, dude, it's too much. Tone it down. It's too much. And same with like, I think that Austin Butler is another example. Please. You're too like, you're too pristine. Thank you. Thank you very much.
1:12:51Pristine is such a good way to put it, Sophie. I saw like an interview. It was like someone on the Met Gala. And it went viral because it was like this girl reporter that she, I can't remember what publication. It was like Entertainment Tonight or something. and she was at the Met Gala like last year, year before. I don't know. And she was trying to interview Austin Butler and he goes, oh, hello. And you are? I hate him. I know. It's like, can you stop with the fucking Elvis voice? No. Stop. He literally. Stop. He's not Southern. No. He did not grow up in the South. He grew up in the same city as Kelly Teller, in fact.
1:13:25Like you two were from the same club. What is it? Anaheim? Yes. Anaheim Hills. And you know who else grew up in Anaheim Hills? Ashley Benson. Also kind of lobotomy goals. What is in the water there? Something is in the water in Anaheim Hills. I'm on to you. It's like the town from Don't Worry, Darling. You know, 100%. And I think Anaheim Hills is like, it's not Newport. It's just like Anaheim Hills. I don't get it. I mean, it's a nice, it's a very nice area. Don't get me wrong. But it's like, yeah, I don't, I don't know. It's weird. Okay. Speaking of her, also other weird Instagram captions. Another one.
1:13:57She takes a post. It's like a carousel of her on a tropical vacation. She takes a picture of this beautiful water. this is what it reads. My goal, if I use my utmost potential, and by the way, there's no punctuation. It's like a run-on sentence. It's like Britney Spears. My goal, if I use my utmost potential, I will be buying this island by 50. I've been transfixed on it for years. I know who owns it because I first thought it was the meeting point for CIA. And Miles told me I was insane. And then I made Miles let me get out of the boat to get a closer look. And two security guards came out. It's just a rich family.
1:14:26I'd save all the dogs and animals and they'd all live on this island and be fed so well and loved anyways it's not the cia still looking but dream big is she okay it's i'm sorry that's an alarming caption that is alarming like you are not okay i'm sorry but it's knowing people in my life that have schizophrenia that kind of reads schizophrenic like the cia the government and not and not diagnosing her but yeah it's like bringing up the cia it just it's not not diagnosing her it just it reads as there is something going on like it doesn't she doesn't seem well yeah yeah so i didn't mean i don't think she's schizophrenic it's just like that's kind of what my schizophrenic family members have they say about the government and stuff but i'm not saying she is but yeah yeah it's like the the paranoia thing it's like why are you bringing up the cia like it's just a very bizarre like i would save all the animals and make sure they're well fed like i just what are you even saying anyways it's not the CIA I'm still looking what are you talking about okay 2024 there's just a lot of speculation on reddit of like why is she slurring everything like she can't caption her she can't even format like proper sentences let alone spell correctly she wrote something that is not even like I can't even read it because it doesn't make sense so I'll try to the okay says Miles and I will be coming d-d-o-m-i-n-f I don't even know what she meant to say Miles and I will becoming indiscernible to college schools university soon where is spelled completely incorrectly with like a j where should we go exclamation point comma exclamation point so insane that she oh yeah that's it that's it where should we go um it kind of just talks about it she probably doesn't have that much time on her hands she might just be uh using substances maybe she has too much time on her hands yes she has too much time on her hands it's just so funny because it's like, we obviously have like, and everyone listening to this, like a fraction of the amount of followers that she has.
1:16:17And I am like triple spell checking everything before I post. Like, I don't know how you even get these typos. I don't know. Unless you're under the influence of something. Yeah, agreed, agreed. I mean, a sober person, I think it's very okay to say a sober person is not writing this. She could be drinking. I don't know what it is, but it's very indiscernible what she's trying to say. And I think it just comes down to like, when you have a lot of time on your hands, you need to find a purpose. Otherwise, you're just kind of sitting and waiting for things to happen. And I think I'm really happy that she was able to kind of create this brand, this PJ line that was born out of, you know, a tragedy with the Palisades fire.
1:16:57And it seems like she's trying to work and do things. But I'd imagine with as much wealth as, you know, $325 million acquisition with long canned cocktails or whatever, she probably is delegating, I'd imagine a lot of the actual heavy lifting and work and operations of the business to others, I'm assuming. And yeah, she has this brand, but like how busy is this brand keeping her if she's still kind of posting like this? It's just weird. I don't know. Well, also celebrity brands, it's safe to say that like they are just throwing their name on something and there's an actual team that's doing the actual work.
1:17:29And I don't want to like just make assumptions, but it's pretty safe to say with celebrity brands. because they can afford to outsource all of the annoying tasks in the actual work. But yeah, I think, you know, would it be fun to be a rich, bored wag that just gets to go on vacations all the time? Sure. But I also think that it would be very, very, very easy to spiral because you don't have enough to do and enough to keep you occupied and enough to stimulate you. So, yeah, I think that some of her behavior is definitely a little bit concerning. And obviously, it's very, very, very sad that they lost their home.
1:18:08And it's amazing that she is trying to turn that tragedy into a business venture that means something to her. I wish her the best. I don't think that she is like a bad person or doesn't sound like she's done anything nefarious at all. I think that she is just kind of like an oddball. Yeah, like she's not problematic. She's not said anything racist or misogynistic or anything. She just is a little odd. And I think that in a world where all of us are so on our phones, we would be remiss to not say something when something appears. It's so in our face, the erratic and a little bit manic and misspelling.
1:18:43She's constantly posting through her manic episodes, it seems like. Right. And if your brand and your job is kind of to be a professional, like you said, actor wag, and you are showing up to your job seemingly under the influence, then people are going to talk. It's just like a nature of the position that you're in. And I don't even know if I would call her an influencer, if I would call her a businesswoman, if I would call her a wag. It's kind of like she's all three things in between. Professional hanger-on-er, professional clout chaser. And I don't mean this in like a mean way because genuinely, if I could do it, I would do it too.
1:19:16Like no hate on that. It's just that the way that she's handling all this with her free time, I don't know what she's doing. It's a little worrisome, to be honest. And I don't say that with judgment. It's just a little odd. So. Very, very strange. That's that on Kelly Teller. Anything else, Sophie? Any closing thoughts? I think that, yeah, like it's just, we don't know that much about her outside of her social media activity. So that's what we're going off of. And there's a lot to psychoanalyze, you know? I think something else that we like briefly touched on is the fact that she photoshops heavily.
1:19:49Oh, thank you for bringing that up. And makes herself look like she already has like really big eyes. but she makes her eyes huge. And I think that's part of why I feel like she's so like uncanny to me on social media is that so many of the photos of her, it's like, whoa, you look like an alien because you made your eyes look huge. And then when you see the Getty images, someone compiled a bunch on this Reddit post that I found of the Getty images compared to what she posts. And yeah, like recently too, it was like a recent Getty image comparison. Yeah, and it's, you know, it's different. It's different.
1:20:23But she's obviously, like, stunning. She was a model. Like, she is gorgeous, naturally. It seems like there might be some, you know, face-up blindness or dysmorphia there. I have no idea. Yeah, it's too much. It really is so different. But she's stunning, obviously. Seems like a nice enough girl. I wish her well. Yeah, I think that, you know, her behavior seems a little off sometimes. but overall doesn't seem like a bad person. It does seem like Miles, even though he's putting on like the wife guy routine, like trying to like portray himself a certain way. I think that he obviously genuinely loves her a lot, like seems obsessed with her.
1:21:04So that's great. Yeah. Yeah. I think if they got divorced, it would be really shocking because - Shocking, yeah. Is being a sweet couple. Yeah. So that's out on that. We, yesterday on Patreon, Sophie interviewed me this time. Last week on Patreon, I interviewed her and we asked each other very deep questions. A little bit about like our interests, but like really more about like ourselves and how we grew up and our, what else? I don't know, like how we got into the careers we got into and just a little bit more about wealth. And deep us. Well, us, yeah. And like deep questions, stuff that you would want to, if you want to get to know us beyond the podcast, if you even care, then that's available for you on patreon.com slash stockbait pod.
1:21:46We also have ad-free content Tuesday and Thursdays. live show. Obviously, our sub stack is released every Friday. 1:22:24If there's one refresh worth making this summer, it's your bedding. Trust me. Summer nights always leave me wanting bedding that feels lighter, more breathable, etc., etc. And Quince has been my go-to for so long now. They focus on high-quality materials like European linen and bamboo without the luxury markup. My absolute favorite is their 100 % organic cotton percale sheets duvet cover. The material is so crisp and comfy and even has a cooling effect, which is obviously perfect for those hot summer nights. I also love the look of it. It's matte, smooth, and just has this classic look that instantly elevates our bedroom.
1:22:58And I love knowing that we're sleeping on 100 % cotton and not some cheap polyester blend. Ugh. You can literally feel the difference. I also love their Mulberry Silk Pillowcases and Eye Masks. They help keep your hair smooth and skin hydrated overnight because they don't absorb your natural oils like other materials do. This bedding is made for literal beauty sleep, you guys. Quince has everything you need to upgrade your bedding for summer. Lightweight sheets, airy linen shams, seasonal colors and timeless patterns like stripes and soft neutrals. And in case you need a reminder, everything at Quince is 50 to 80 percent less than similar brands because they work directly with ethical factories and cut out the middleman.
1:23:35So you're paying for quality, not a name brand markup. Elevate your summer bedding. Go to quince.com slash snarkbait for free shipping on your order and 365 day returns. It's finally summer, which means all of us, hopefully most of us, are going to be spending a lot more time outside touching grass. And when was the last time you upgraded your outdoor furniture situation? Wayfair is your one-stop shop for outdoor seating, grills, appliances, patio lighting, storage, rugs, decor, you name it.
1:24:14Everything you need to make your outdoor area the best seat in the house. We only have an itty-bitty balcony in New York City, but thanks to Wayfair, we made the most of our tiny space with a perfect little bistro set and twinkle lights. I'm so excited it's finally warm enough to use it again. My favorite thing to do during the warm weather months is have coffee and breakfast out there with Baxter on sunny mornings. It's my favorite start to the day, and it wouldn't be possible without my Wayfair furniture. I also really appreciate that Wayfair has installation and assembly services because outdoor furniture can be heavy and intimidating to assemble.
1:24:44It makes the experience truly seamless and stress-free. But my favorite part about Wayfair, you don't have to take out a freaking loan or remortgage your house just to make your space as gorgeous as possible. Especially if you, like me, are not in your forever home yet and you don't want to slurge on major investment pieces. I love how affordable everything at Wayfair is. Patio season is here and these deals won't last. Head to Wayfair.com right now to get your outdoor space ready for way less. That's W-A-Y-F-A-I-R dot com. Wayfair, every style, every home. It made it so easy to grab multiple matching sets, shorts, tanks, and lounge pieces for the summer without overthinking it. And the quality is genuinely so good.
1:25:55Fabletics pieces feel like ultra-luxe activewear you'd expect from some of those higher-end brands, you know the ones, but without the hefty price tag. These pieces are built to actually last, and I love that for me. My genuine absolute favorite piece I've gotten is the Anywhere Cropped Bra Tank. It's a perfect workout top that I can throw on for a workout, just to record, run errands, go out to lunch. And genuinely, my boobs look really good. They're like, they suck in and like perk up just the way I like it. And I just genuinely love how easy it is to get dressed with Fabletics and how put together I look without having to actually think about it.
