In short

The episode is a deep dive on NYC influencer Kit Keenan—why she’s famous, how she brands herself, and what critics say about her. The hosts frame her as a “Blair Waldorf” rich-girl persona and “Gen Z Martha Stewart” who posts fashion, beauty, and lifestyle/cooking content. They note her background: daughter of designer Cynthia Rowley and interior designer William Keenan Jr.; grew up in Manhattan; born Kit Clementine Keenan (May 20, 1999).

Key claims

she went on Matt James’ Bachelor season (2021) mainly for followers/career, not love; she openly admits she wasn’t there for the right reasons; her Bachelor edit made her seem bratty/privileged but not a major villain.

Notable examples

she self-eliminated after Matt implied readiness for marriage/motherhood; she was involved in controversy with contestant Sarah Trout (comment about Sarah’s living situation), later apologized and took accountability. Post-Bachelor, she rebranded from party-girl to preppy “clean” domestic content; heaped travel/aspirational lifestyle; and she has a short-lived podcast with her mom (“Ageless by Ramona,” last episode May 2022).

I have literally always been obsessed with Ruggable and rave about Ruggable to whoever listens, which is why I was thrilled and shocked when I found out they were going to sponsor the pod. My kitchen runner, foyer runner, outdoor balcony rug, and living room rug are all Ruggable. I'm not exaggerating. Not only do they have the chicest designs for whatever you're looking for, whether your style is boho, modern, classic, the rugs are both stain-resistant and machine-washable. This is key for me as a New Yorker with a dog. You don't even want to know what kind of city sludge he can drag into the house on any given day.

1:11But with Ruggable, you don't have to worry about professional carpet cleaners or big machines. You can just throw it in the wash and it comes out looking as high quality as the day you got it. It's truly a game changer. Oh, and the non-slip backing that every single one of the rugs has, also key for having a dog with the zoomies. So they're functional for high traffic homes, yes, but they're also fashionable. I truly take pride in my interior design skills, and my guests always compliment my rugs. Thanks, Ruggable. 3:26hi everyone welcome back to another episode of snark bait i'm sophie i'm christy and today wow

3:35Christy Noel:So much to discuss. God, I feel rusty. What's up with me? I know. I'm just like, it's been a week. Well, someone who, and I know I say this every week, it's like been like especially a week. So if someone who knows anything about astrology, what's going on this week? Also, I feel like there's always something wrong with my eye these days. Do you have a stye? I'm like Shannon Ford. No, I don't have a stye. I just, I think I got something in my eye like soap or an eyelash or something and now my eye is a little bit red so if you're watching on video you might notice that yeah very exciting updates all around very exciting you know what that is though I think it's the gods above giving us karma for making fun of Shannon's stye yeah and they're like you know what we're gonna give Sophie a stye and Christy eczema on her eyelids for making fun of Shannon Stye.

4:30Why do I have to get the karma though? You're the one that brought it up.

4:36Christy Noel:No, the gods above need to, yeah, give me my karma. But that's why I have eyelid eczema and it's a whole thing. But how have you been recently? It's Thursday, December 4th, bright and early. Yeah. I mean, the highlight of my week, I know that I was just complaining about how just, everything has been Spotify wrapped dropped yesterday. And it was so exciting to see. This was like our first real Spotify wrapped because we're a show that's only like a little over a year old. So this time last year, we were like only a few months old. So this was our first real one. And it was so crazy to see all the stats and like hundreds of millions of minutes listened and years listened and all the different countries, 96 countries, I think it is.

5:26And it just made me feel so thankful and happy. And it really truly made my week, my month, my year even. So thank you guys so much for being here. It just, it felt so surreal seeing all of those stats. I feel like obviously we know you guys are out there and you're listening, but like seeing the stats was just crazy.

5:45Christy Noel:I know that felt like a present because I didn't realize that you were going to post anything. And I think I have access to the Spotify creator app. So anyways, I got an authentication code and I texted my family and I'm like, did anyone ask for this? And then I see a text from Sophie. Sophie, Hey, me again. Hey, me again. Six factor authentication code coming your way. I go, Oh, it was you. Cause yup. Trying to post a Spotify wrapped. Yeah. Can you send it to me? I'm like, Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. For sure. So then I went on my phone And at first I thought you were just looking for your own, like, just knowledge.

6:20Christy Noel:Then I go on our Instagram and I see so many comments, so many shares, so many reposts of people posting their own Spotify rap. That's always so fun to see what company we're in. And I found this. These were the kind of, like, recurring podcasts alongside yours and I's. It was, like, Chicks in the Office, Giggly Squad, The Toes So Bad It's Good, Beyond the Blinds, Foonly Floored. What else did you see? I saw, unfortunately, some bio files. oh my we're in good company and then we're also in terrible company god well yeah uh tuesday's we definitely we haven't yet yet but we will definitely talk about the annoying shit that him and natalie have been talking about oh my god i whitney i know yes by the way so this episode is coming out on thursday december 11th and i was like i think we have something to teased right now.

7:15Christy Noel:I know we didn't talk about this before we recorded, but maybe I think by this time we will have something live for you guys. Yeah. Something very exciting is coming and we are so excited for it to be official. So keep an eye out. Remember to follow us at snarkbait pods. You can be the first to know, but I guess let's just any other rigmarole updates. Housekeeping. Yeah. How's your week been, Christy, before we dive in? Oh, well, being an accountant, the first week of the month is always very busy because we're closing the month, you know? So I have been very heads down. And honestly, I feel like there's so much content.

8:03Christy Noel:I didn't even realize that Southern Charm has been back. Oh, yeah. Have you been watching? I watched the first two episodes. I think the third episode may have aired last night. Yes. So I haven't watched it yet. I've been enjoying it, but it's kind of been like uneventful. There's really been nothing for us to discuss yet. I'm sure there will be. Craig is like so fucking annoying. So there's that. But we do that. Enemy of the pod. Craig literally has us blocked. The only people that have us blocked that we know of are Paige Lorenz and Craig Conover. So you know what? That's when you know we're legit.

8:38Yeah. Well, that's also like, yeah, that tracks those two people.

8:43Christy Noel:Paige and Craig. Divas. Divas. Divas. Yeah. Divas. So, yeah, that's pretty much it. I'm very excited to go over this influencer, Kit Keenan. Interestingly enough, we had someone else slated for this week, but our schedules got mixed up, and Sophie had a dream. She woke up. She texted the snark bait team and was like, guys, we're pivoting. We're going to do Kit Keenan. And I'm very excited for you to walk us through this outline today because I don't really know much about her other than her. being on Matt James' season of The Backview back in 2020. Yeah, no, like it literally just came to me and pivoted yesterday.

9:21And I was like, I can dump my thoughts. I can write this with my eyes closed. Literally though, I just dumped all of my thoughts into this document quickly enough that we pivoted. And we actually, the subject that we were gonna do is still someone that we're gonna do in the future. Yes, yes.

9:36Christy Noel:We have the notes locked and loaded. Yeah, but this is a classic NYC influencer, which I know you guys love these types of episodes, kind of back to our roots. Someone that is just a very niche internet celebrity. I know that some people will be like, I have no idea who this is. Not to say that she is not extremely successful and well-known in the influencer community, but she's not like a household name, obviously. So I'm excited for this Kit Keenan deep dive. Let's get into it. So yeah, shall we begin? We shall. Kit Keenan is a New York City-based influencer who is the daughter of famous fashion designer Cynthia Rowley.

10:18Christy, did you ever go through a Cynthia Rowley phase growing up? No, I didn't. But there's a Cynthia Rowley shop at Lido Island in Newport.

10:31Christy Noel:And every time I go to Lido Island, I see it and I'm like, huh, I think of Kit Keenan. But no, I didn't. But you were more, I'm not like a fashion girl. I feel like you probably did. Yeah. So I thought Cynthia Raleigh was so cool when I was like in my bat mitzvah era, like homecoming dance era. My fun fact about me, my Nana worked at Saks Fifth Avenue in Cincinnati for 26 years. That Saks like doesn't exist anymore when it did. That's where she worked. So she was a personal stylist there. And that kind of like, I would always go and visit her and I would like shop for dances and shop for bat mitzvahs and stuff there.

11:11That kind of like inspired my love for fashion. But Cynthia Mrowley was one of those sax designers that I was like, oh my God, this is the pinnacle of luxury, you know? Yeah. So she first gained prominence, like you said, by becoming a contestant on season 25 of The Bachelor in 2021. The lead was Matt James, the one and only. And she now likes to call herself a, this is literally her Instagram bio, a young martha stewart and blair waldorf's plot line you know what sorry speaking of blair waldorf

11:41Christy Noel:during thanksgiving i watched an episode of gossip girl the thanksgiving episode yeah and there's that infamous one when they're all at the table and like everyone's fighting it wasn't that one it was a different episode of course now i'm blanking it was the one where nate archibald's father comes back from having being hidden in the dominican republic and nate calls the fbi on his father. Vanessa and Nate reconcile. Jenny wears that see-through dress at that ball. In any case, Gossip Girl is so fucking good. I was so sad. Did you watch the reboot? I watched the first two episodes and I was like, I can't, I can't.

12:20It was so bad. The fact that it got canceled. You have the most valuable IP in the world. This is more valuable than Marvel in my opinion. Oh, like 100%. No, 100%. Gossip Girl IP and you guys can't even make it past two seasons because it's so fucking bad.

12:37Christy Noel:It even went past the first. I thought it was canceled after the first season. I think it was two seasons. It was terrible. It's horrible. But anyways, Gossip Girl OG. I rewatched the OC. Horrible show. Horrible. Gossip Girl stands the test of time. Sorry to interject. Continue going. And as you're talking, I know. No, but it relates It's because Kit Keenan is like she refers to herself as sort of a Blair Waldorf type. She grew up in Manhattan and is wealthy and lives in a West Village townhouse and really has that glamorous, rich girl, Blair Waldorf type of life and upbringing. She also today kind of brands herself as Gen Z Martha Stewart.

13:18She's like this hybrid of Martha Stewart and Blair Waldorf, I guess. Sure. She posts various fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and cooking content, hence the Martha Stewart of it all. That's kind of her thing. So as for her background slash upbringing, she was born Kit Clementine Keenan. Of course she was. Kit Clementine Keenan. May 20th, 1999. So she is currently 26. Her mother, like we said, is well-known fashion designer Cynthia Rowley, and her father is William Keenan Jr., an interior designer. Like we said, she grew up in New York City. She had that Gossip Girl-esque upbringing. And she says that growing up around fashion gave her early exposure to creativity and style and inspired her love of fashion.

14:05So her mom was always just a huge inspiration to her. I mean, how cool would that be to have a fashion designer mom?

14:11Christy Noel:And also growing up in Manhattan as a young woman, a teenager, that's just so it literally is Gossip Girl. So I kind of understand her Blair Waldorf adjacent persona. Oh my God. I always thought because you guys know I grew up in the Midwest and I remember my first time meeting someone at college who grew up in New York City. And I was like, whoa, whoa. I remember asking, I was like, did you know any of the NYC prep kids? Oh, NYC prep. Was that on? Bravo. Yes, yes, yes, yes. that is such an other world to me growing up in California. And sometimes I'll be on TikTok watching these 15 year olds, like come with me as an Upper East Side teenager.

14:57Christy Noel:And I'm so, I'm like, whoa, this is so cool. But she, yeah, she hooked it. It's so funny. Yeah, she did. She also told Town and Country Magazine in an interview once that she always had a knack for business. She apparently set up a$2 nail salon on the playground when she was 10. And when she was 14, she started her first eBay profile and would sell reconstructed vintage Levi's and t-shirts. So she was like, I am this fashion girl entrepreneur literally from like age 10. She was drawn to storytelling though. So she initially studied filmmaking at USC School of Cinematic Arts. And this is when she would launch her short-lived fashion line called Kit, which was her name, obviously, but it also apparently stood for Keep It Together.

15:43And according to its now defunct website, Kit was created to bring the contemporary art world to a younger audience. We collaborate with artists so you can take home and wear a piece of art that might cost millions of dollars at auction. Kit admitted to the times, I didn't have a business plan or fancy investors. I had a few thousand dollars and some good advice.

16:06Christy Noel:And being an EPO baby doesn't hurt either. Who's a fashion designer. Yeah. But I guess Jennifer Lawrence and Kate Moss both wore the brand at one point, which very impressive. Yeah, that's like... Yeah. It doesn't exist anymore though, unfortunately. She later transferred to NYU, unsurprisingly. She went back to New York to study at the Gallatin School of Individualized Study at NYU. This was pre-bachelor days, obviously. She was kind of a girl about town. If you go back on her Instagram, She was hanging out with Kaya Gerber, Madison Beer, Charlotte Lawrence. She was out at the club. She had this kind of grungy party girl aura in these pre-2020 Instagram photos.

16:49She had icy blonde, almost like silver hair, leather jackets, out at the club. It's a very different Kenan than the Martha Stewart, Blair Waldorf hybrid that we know today. She did a rebrand for sure. but she didn't have the explosive Instagram growth at this point and not much of a following. Hence her decision to go on The Bachelor.

17:12Christy Noel:And I also think looking at these photos of her in 2017, 2018, that was so trendy too, being that grunge, leather jacket, daddy look. Yeah, chokers, like the booties. I don't know. Everything about this screams the trends that were 2016, 2017. and it's just so interesting to see how much we've evolved nine years, eight years later, where it's so minimalistic and minimal makeup. Clean girl. Clean girl. Yeah, I wonder what the trends are going to be in a decade because are we going to look – I always think about that because when the iPhone pops pictures of me up from 2017, I'm like, God, I don't know how to do my makeup.

17:49Christy Noel:I'm dressed weirdly. What the hell are those shoes? But then I'm thinking, am I going to think the same thing about the trends that we're doing today? I don't know. Trends are just very interesting. Yeah, they definitely are. And it's kind of like a pendulum. I feel like we went from like the Kylie Jenner heavy, heavy, heavy makeup and cut crease eyeshadow to clean girl. And now I feel like it's probably going to swing back at some point. Yeah. If I were to guess. Now a quick ad break to talk about our sponsors. You guys know the last place I want to spend my one precious life is in a nail salon.

18:26Who has the time? Am I right? But here's the problem. I do, in fact, want my nails to be done because I'm just a girl. And that's where Olive and June comes in. Olive and June has everything you need for a salon quality manicure in one box. Salon grade tools, six polishes to choose from that don't chip and last over seven days. If you're more of a gel girly, their gel mani boxes come with a five finger LED lamp and HEMA free gel polish that lasts 21 days too. Each manicure comes down to just a few dollars each. Salon quality, but so much more affordable. And without the freaking annoying salon appointment, Olive and June is a perfect fit for my crazy life.

If there's one refresh worth making this summer, it's your bedding. Trust me. Summer nights always leave me wanting bedding that feels lighter, more breathable, etc., etc.

20:52And Quince has been my go-to for so long now. They focus on high-quality materials like European linen and bamboo without the luxury markup. My absolute favorite is their 100 % organic cotton percale sheets duvet cover. The material is so crisp and comfy and even has a cooling effect, which is obviously perfect for those hot summer nights. I also love the look of it. It's matte, smooth, and just has this classic look that instantly elevates our bedroom. And I love knowing that we're sleeping on 100 % cotton and not some cheap polyester blend. Ugh. You can literally feel the difference. I also love their Mulberry Silk pillowcases and eye masks.

Like we said, she was on Matt James' season, and this is when she really kind of rose to Providence and started gaining a following. And she said she got DM'd by a producer to go on the show. While she was in college during COVID-19, she got an unexpected offer that changed her path in that one of the casting people for The Bachelor DM'd her.

22:38She said, I decided to take the risk because I thought this is probably the only time I'd be able to pause my life and do something like this. So that was a whole other audience. I've been doing this for so long that naturally after college, I was like, okay, this is going to my full-time job. So she has always admitted that she only went on The Bachelor for followers and for her career. She was not there for the right reasons. She literally has admitted this. Which is kind of refreshing because everyone does do

23:03Christy Noel:that for their own. Yeah. Yeah. But like the fact that Bachelor producers, she was 21. We're seeking out a 21 year old girl who's clearly not ready for marriage or ready to settle down to go on the show. That's all about marriage and settling down. This is the problem with the Bachelor. We talk so much about why the Bachelor has kind of fallen from Greece, not fallen from Greece, like fallen from popularity. People don't really watch it anymore. And this is one of their biggest problems, I feel like is they keep casting. Everyone complains, oh my God, it's just influencers that are here for the followers.

23:38We want, you know, we want the real love stories again. I think that's part of the problem is that they keep going out of their way to cast these people.

23:47Christy Noel:Yes. The age was skewing so low that I remember being like, this is just so unrealistic that we can't do this anymore. That this season of The Bachelor is when I fell off of the franchise officially. Cause I remember watching the first episode and thinking, I can't do it anymore. And everything about the show had changed at that point as well with, I think Chris Harrison was no longer the host or maybe this was his last season. I can't really recall, honestly, nor does it matter. I can't remember either. But this is when I think a lot of people started to fall off, myself included being the most Bachelor obsessed individual on the planet.

24:23Christy Noel:But I remember her not, I remember her being a Nepple baby and being Cynthia Rowley's daughter. And that's pretty much all I recall of her. Did you? So you didn't watch this full season. You just watched the first episode. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. So the first impression, the first night or whatever, she wasn't like the other basic girls, you guys. She was a cool New Yorker who wore a mini dress instead of a gown. I know. Crazy. She wore like this feather mini dress and little like black lace-up, chunky sandals, while obviously the attire for the rest of the women is the typical bedazzled ball gown. So right away, she stands out for the crowd.

25:05And I remember, it's funny, because I ended up meeting Henry in 2021 later in the year, but I went into 2021 with a situationship. And I remember my situationship at this time. We watched it together, and he thought Kit Keenan was so hot what she's so young she's a pretty girl but yeah she looks really young she's she's 21

25:30Christy Noel:like we said she's really young yeah yes she was yeah i just remember that so vividly he was like she's so hot and i mean he lived in new york at the time he could have shot a shot slide in yeah she is a pretty girl she just looks sorry i didn't mean what as in she's unattractive she's obviously very pretty. She looks almost kind of like a teenager. Yeah. She was just out of adolescence. She's 21. So what was interesting about Kit on The Bachelor was that she didn't even, like we said, she was very open about being there for the wrong reasons after the fact. It's not really kosher to admit while you're on the show, obviously.

26:09I'm not actually here for love. but she didn't even really fake interest in Matt James. It was obvious that she did not like him or give a fuck about him. And of course, men being men. And we talked about this in our Patreon episode last week. We did an episode on the reality show, I Want to Marry Harry and how fucking unhinged that show was. It was when they gaslit 12 American women into thinking they were competing for Prince Harry.

26:33Christy Noel:Low key though, sorry to interrupt. I was re-listening to that episode yesterday. That was one of our funniest. It was so funny. It's like a funny episode. And again, we talk about the show and we also talk about reality TV in general and our experiences and just the psychological warfare that is reality television. So definitely check that out, patreon.com slash snarkbaitpod. But I feel like The Bachelor was kind of following the unhingedness that was I Wanna Marry Harry towards this time. The Bachelor lost the plot around this particular year. Yeah, it really, really did. But we talked about how the bachelor leads because they're men and they think what their penis is.

27:16They would always just choose. And that's why there isn't a high success rate for couples from The Bachelor. There's a slightly higher success rate for bachelorette couples. But the male leads always just think what their dicks and they choose who they think is the most physically attractive more often than not. So it doesn't end up working out. And then also the fact that Kit didn't like Matt, he liked her more because of that. It's always the person that doesn't give a fuck about the lead that ends up being the favorite. And while Matt obviously had his, he loved Rachel Kirkconnell, obviously, who ended up being his F1.

27:49They were together for like four years. He really liked Kit, even though she clearly didn't like him. That's crazy.

27:55Christy Noel:I had no idea that he had a lot of interest in Kit. That's funny. Yeah. She ended up going almost all the way to the end until she self-eliminated and told Matt that she wasn't ready for marriage or motherhood. because Matt had implied he was ready to start a family ASAP. And I mean, like we said, she was 21. So right away, people said she obviously wasn't ready for those things. It was very obvious. As for her edit, she was framed as this maybe bratty, privileged, New York, Blair Waldorf type, but not like a major villain or anything. There's always, unfortunately, in Bachelor seasons, there's always drama with the girls.

28:32Always. And I'm sure you can say the same thing about Bachelorette seasons too. I haven't watched the franchise in so long, but there's always like in-house drama. And that season, there was a contestant named Sarah Trout who crashed a group date because she wanted to spend more time with Matt. And it turns out she was going through some personal struggles. Her father was struggling with ALS and some of the women bullied her for crashing this group date. And Kit in particular said to her, I hope that your connection with Matt is very strong right now because the rest of your living situation here is going to be horrible.

29:08Basically saying she was going to like make her life in the house hell. This is also when Katie Thurston rose above the rest because she ended up standing up to the girls and saying, hey, this is bullying. And that's why Katie, even though she didn't really make it far in Matt James this season, was chosen to be the next Bachelorette because she was this kind of protector who stood up to the bullies, a.k.a. Kit and a few other ladies. I think, who's the girl that's married to grocery store Joe? What's her name again?

29:39Christy Noel:Serena. Yeah, Serena Pitt. Serena Pitt was one of the other ones, I believe. I remember her from Bachelor in Paradise. Yeah, so it was Kit and a few other girls, but Kit quickly apologized after the show aired for having any part in making Sarah feel bullied, and she said her comment slash behavior was unacceptable. So she took full accountability for how she acted and said that she didn't really know what was going on in Sarah's life. And she really regretted how she acted. So that was, I think, very mature of her. Speaking of the, just really a quick caveat about the Bachelorette infighting with the men.

30:15Christy Noel:The one season I remember of the men fighting viciously was JoJo's season. Chat. Yes. Fuck you, Chris Harrison. Yes. He was like so roided out all the time on that season. Yeah. And he was always like chewing like deli meat. Yes. Yeah. He needed to get like protein. Yeah. Caloric intake in every day. And obviously Hannah Brown season with Tyler Cameron. Yeah. Luke or what? Or what? I oh my God. The Chad. Chad and like Jordan Rogers. Yes. He was like you. I saw a clip of this recently like on TikTok. So it's very fresh in my mind. he says to jord rogers he's like you think i can't find you after this he's literally threatening his life it's so crazy yeah chad had so much anger and then didn't end up dating am i making this up or didn't he end up dating kendra wilkinson that sounds right yeah i'm just gonna take you at your words like i'm not even gonna fact check that yeah that 100 sounds correct yeah god that was such a those are the days man yeah i'm missing days and and i remember JoJo season was around like 2016.

31:30Yes. So I would say in the aughts slash pre-COVID

31:36Christy Noel:was really the glory days. Yes. 2016, 2017, that was like the 80s. You know, it was fun. It was carefree. It was, you know, peace and love. I mean, that life felt different in 2016. There needs to be an episode. We needed to do an episode on why 2016 was so iconic because it was a very memorable year for me as well. But also I would not go back to that timeline in my life because I was dealing with so many fuckboys at that time. I think of 2016 and how traumatizing dating was. Yes. And the fuckboys and the ghosting and... Yep. Wow. Not a good time to be me. That's for sure. I'm like sweating even as you get quicker.

32:23Christy Noel:Wait, I have PTSD. I literally hear like helicopters. You have like an FBI to like jumping out a jumper from like, I don't have to save you with this parachute from your PTSD. Oh my God. Okay. Anyway, later on, Kit would, like we said, admit many times over that she was just there for the followers. She wasn't there for the right reasons. There was one, I could not find it, but it was like, she was on a brand trip, I think with like Remy Bader, I want to say. And they were playing like a drinking game. and she basically admitted that she did not like Matt James and she wasn't there for Matt. And then when she thought TikTok was going to be deleted, remember everyone was doing those confession videos.

33:04She said, since this app won't be around for much longer, I have one more thing I need to share with you. I was there for the wrong reasons. Damn. Again, not surprising at all. And at least she admits it. Yeah.

33:14Christy Noel:So that was, remember that was the kiss of death. If you were there for the wrong reasons as a contestant on The Bachelor, people would never let you forget it. It's like, oh, clutching your pearls. You're not here to find love. But now they all are there for the wrong reasons. Same with love is blind. I'm getting so annoyed. I know. Seriously. As for her post-bachelor career, you know, if her plan was to go on for followers, it worked. She has quickly become a mainstay on the New York City influencer scene and now boasts over 400 ,000 Instagram followers and over 300 ,000 TikTok followers. And this is when she seemed to rebrand from the New York City party, it girl to Gen Z Martha Stewart, quote unquote, wearing these preppy outfits, sharing recipes, etc.

34:01I included a screenshot from one TikTok where she says, want to go clubbing? And she goes, my closet. And her closet is, I mean, she's just twirling in this really preppy button down Blair Waldorf dress. And it's like, please, we know you used to go clubbing in real clothes in leather jackets. Okay.

34:21Christy Noel:Also, she's like 24, 25. You should be out clubbing. Be a baddie. Yeah. This is the problem with this generation. They're leaning too much into the clean girl. Like, no, I want to see you out till 4 a.m. and then rolling into work the next morning. Like, I can't believe we used to do that. Oh, my God. With your crusty makeup still on at work the next day. Yes. Sometimes I would have to work Saturdays when I was in public accounting. And we would roll in with like two hours of sleep. all of us had been out the night before with each other. Like, this is so pick me. And this is not just her. It's the entire generation.

34:50Christy Noel:You should be out clubbing, having fun. Come on. So I've seen a lot of think pieces about this recently. And including friend of the pod, Talia Lickstein. Did you see this video that she posted recently where she was like, what is with my fucking generation? No one wants to go out anymore. She said that everyone just goes out to dinner. This is the night. They're like, this is it. This is, we are. She's like, are we going out? We are out. What do you mean? And she's like, we're at dinner. We're 25. We need to go to the club. It really is like a generational. I think it's maybe, I think COVID definitely played a part.

35:24Our phones, people just want to like sit in and scroll on their phones, I guess, instead of going out and like living life. So take it from us, you guys, us elder millennials. Take it from us. If you are young and you're listening to this, go out. Go out this weekend. It's Thursday. Go out. tomorrow night. Make plans. Go to the, I mean, clubs don't really exist anymore, do they? But like go to a bar, go to a bar.

35:50Christy Noel:Trust me. Cause when you get to be at our age, you're not going to have it physically in you and your body. Do it while your body is still able. Yeah. Now, if I have more than two drinks, I'm out of commission the next day. Oh, I'm depressed for like three days for real. So take advantage of it while you can. And even if you do get a little hungover sometimes, it's worth it. Smoke some weed. That's always what we would do. Also, So we would be so hungover. Then we just smoke the next day. And then that would disguise our hangovers. Also, another life hack for the youngins out there, day drink.

36:23Day drink. And then you sleep off your hangover. You go to sleep. Okay. I never loved day drinking. Oh, my God. Loved it. Day drinking was my favorite. Still is, honestly. If I had the opportunity to day drink, I will.

36:35Christy Noel:I don't. Yeah, I don't love it. But I will say you should live for the nights you won't remember. with the friends you'll never forget. You'll never forget. Yeah. So keep that in mind the next time you want to ditch a night out and go home and stay on your phone scrolling. It's true. You are only young ones. Youth is wasted on the young. It really is. Because I would love to have the stamina that I had 10 years ago with the confidence that I have now. But you know what? I can't. Physically, I don't bloat. No. Do you know where that's from? Oh, that's bridesmaids. Yeah. Physically, I just can't go out.

37:15Christy Noel:Like, physically, I can't blow. Physically, I can't. Yeah. No, I am the same way, unfortunately. Speaking of age, Kit started a podcast with her mom, Cynthia Rowley, called Ageless. By Ramona. Ageless by Ramona. The description was, we explore fashion, business, wellness, and motherhood through the lens of our adventures around the world. They haven't released an episode since May 2022. Classic. So it was pretty short-lived. I know, classic. Classic. everyone thinks they can start a podcast. I know. Podcasts are hard, you guys. Take it from us. Another thing. Take it from us. I keep being like, take it from us.

37:48This is, you guys,

37:49Christy Noel:this isn't a Kenan episode. This is a Life Hacks by Sophie and Christy. Yeah. Life, life advice. Life advice, life hack. Yeah. Should we rebrand? Yeah. And that's just, well, me. With Sophie and Christy. And that's just us being, well, us. So. about the history on my drive. I was like, that's funny. So Christy's referencing my diary that I wrote in where I was like, there's no one I'd rather be than, well, me. I have a great personality. I need to have my mom, because I left it at home. I'm going to have my mom take a picture of that section in the diary and I'll share it. So you guys can believe me that I literally wrote it about myself.

38:32Well, me. One of my other good friends who I wrote about, because again, I was just writing little bios about everyone.

38:38Christy Noel:Yeah. I wrote and she's a very successful artist. She's very petite. She's around your height, Christy. Oh my God. And I wrote about her. I said, she's short, but bright. It's so fucking funny. And I sat the turn. She's like, still true. And I'm like, yeah, it's so true. Yeah. I'm short, but I'm bright. Why was I say I was nine? I was eight. I think actually she's short. I like when people refer to people's intelligence as like, she's a bright girl. I don't know why. I think it's so cute. I didn't know what that means at the time. I was eight. Sophie, are we bright? I know. Literally, no. Okay.

39:18Sorry for all of the segues, you guys. This is fun. This is fun.

39:23Christy Noel:I'm in a good time. So back to Kit. Gaining followers from The Bachelor certainly helped. She also had this very aspirational lifestyle that I think is such a key to her success. She was constantly traveling, whether it was on a luxury trip or a brand trip. She has this designer wardrobe, a massive New York City townhouse in the West Village that is allegedly around$9 million that she lives in with her mom, which no judgment at all. I would too. If my mom had a$9 million townhouse in the city, why would I live anywhere else. I think about Kyle Richards' daughters as well. I think it's changed because one of them just got married, but a lot of them live under her roof and it's like, why would you not?

40:05Christy Noel:You have housekeepers, people doing your laundry. Yeah, I would do that too. Oh, absolutely. And New York City rent. Yeah. Even like being married, I would be like, Henry, we're moving into the townhouse with my mom, obviously. So I don't judge that whatsoever. Dude, it's probably loaded with all the money she's saving on New York City rent plus all of her influencer money. She's probably one of the most successful like monetarily. And her like generational money. Yes. Her parents being wealthy to begin with. Private jets. She's been open about getting a boob job. Like she just has this very, very, very aspirational lifestyle.

40:38Love that. Just as I know though about her living situation, people say it's a little creepy that she appears to not have furniture when she films in her bedroom. Her videos are always, it's like empty in the background. It doesn't look like anyone lives there, which is very interesting. You can see I attached a screenshot here.

40:53Christy Noel:I saw that yeah it's literally just like a hallway it looks like a hallway because there's no furniture there's no furniture no it's very minimalist I wish I could be a minimalist another segue I'm sorry we have so much fucking crap in our bedroom at this point between my podcast equipment Baxter's huge new crate it stresses me out and I was like you know what let's just go full maximalist let's get like a massive bookshelf and just make it like full hoarder maximalist. I just I can't with how much fucking crap we have. I feel like I just need to embrace it instead of like resenting it. Yeah. I respect the minimalism.

41:26I really am jealous of people that can live like that. So in terms of her cooking content, and I say cooking very loosely, she claims to love to cook and she describes herself as a kind of Gen Z Martha Stewart. where people have pointed out that she really just assembles things. She's made pasta and vodka sauce, and she makes a lot of salads. Here are some screenshots where she made a watermelon and feta salad. There is one video where she's assembling a breakfast platter, and she has eggs, a cinnamon roll, some orange slices, some apple slices. There is an orzo salad that she assembles that seems to have cucumbers and corn and feta.

42:11She kind of just like assembles salads. So it's not like she's making anything groundbreaking. And people on Reddit will say she doesn't cook. She chops. I love people assemble ingredients and call it cooking. She just cuts stuff up and plates it.

42:28Christy Noel:And you know what? That's more than I can say about myself. So I can't even shit on her because that to me is cooking, you know? Absolutely. Absolutely. Sophie and I are not. We don't cook. Sorry. Yeah, I'm not going to hate on it. She told E News that her love of cooking came from her mom. She said, at night, our bonding time was always cooking together. It instilled in me that food and cooking is a way to bring people together and have mother-daughter bonding time. And the physical act of making clothing is quite similar to cooking because it's a creative process. You're working with your hands.

42:59Sometimes it's about throwing things together and seeing if they turn out to be beautiful and delicious. And for me, what my mom has always described as her passion for clothes has always been my draw towards cooking. In a way, it's my meditation. Another fun fact is that her and her mom love to surf together. So they do that a lot. They surf. Ew. And she currently does long distance with her British boyfriend who lives in the UK. Then they go on like a lot of trips together and not having a boyfriend was like a big part of her content for a period of time. But for the past at least a year, she has been dating this British man.

43:40Christy Noel:Giving lanes and Shannon. Yeah. And she makes content about how hard long distances. I like can't even imagine that sort of distance. That would be very, very, very difficult. I've been a diehard TaskRabbit stan long before they were a sponsor. I cannot remember the last time I moved without enlisting a tasker, whether it was for assembling furniture, mounting a TV, hanging artwork or shelves, the list goes on. And it's not just during a move where your to-do list can feel like it's 10 pages long. Sometimes I really just need an extra hand for those little things I feel like I never end up getting around to myself, like hanging the collage wall I promised myself I'd do for months.

44:14Wherever you are, TaskRabbit is here to help. TaskRabbit connects you with skilled taskers in your area for moving, furniture assembly, home repairs, yard work, mounting, you name it. And when was the last time you upgraded your outdoor furniture situation? Wayfair is your one-stop shop for outdoor seating, grills, appliances, patio lighting, storage, rugs, decor, you name it.

45:25Everything you need to make your outdoor area the best seat in the house. We only have an itty-bitty balcony in New York City, but thanks to Wayfair, we made the most of our tiny space with a perfect little bistro set and twinkle lights. I'm so excited it's finally warm enough to use it again. My favorite thing to do during the warm weather months is have coffee and breakfast out there with Baxter on sunny mornings. It's my favorite start to the day, and it wouldn't be possible without my Wayfair furniture. I also really appreciate that Wayfair has installation and assembly services because outdoor furniture can be heavy and intimidating to assemble.

45:55It makes the experience truly seamless and stress-free. But my favorite part about Wayfair, you don't have to take out a freaking loan or remortgage your house just to make your space as gorgeous as possible. Especially if you, like me, are not in your forever home yet and you don't want to splurge on major investment pieces. I love how affordable everything at Wayfair is. Patio season is here and these deals won't last. Head to Wayfair.com right now to get your outdoor space ready for way less. That's W-A-Y-F-A-I-R.com.

But without the hefty price tag. These pieces are built to actually last, and I love that for me. My genuine absolute favorite piece I've gotten is the Anywhere cropped bra tank. It's a perfect workout top that I can throw on for a workout just to record, run errands, go out to lunch. And genuinely, my boobs look really good. But just because I'm a hairy Jewish girl does not mean I have to settle for a horrible shaving experience. And as soon as I discovered Flamingo, I realized I don't have to suffer any longer.

48:12Seriously, I've been a fan of Flamingo since before they became a podcast sponsor. With flamingo, my leg shaving experience is smooth, gentle, and luxurious, not bumpy, rough, and painful. Also, the shave is so close. I used to immediately feel stubble after getting out of the shower. Literally, I'm not exaggerating. It was immediate. And now, just silky smoothness. Flamingo razors feel like they're working with my body and the contours of my legs instead of against them, and it makes all the difference. Finally, shaving is a ritual I enjoy rather than dread. The best part about Flamingo, these razors are made for women by women.

48:47These aren't men's razors made pink. They're specifically designed for girlies like us to be able to easily grip and use. Their starter set has everything you could possibly need. Flamingo's original razor, a facial dermaplane razor, my personal favorite, foaming shave gel, and a shower holder. All for just$7 if you're a baby snark. Yes, you heard that right. The biggest accusation that Kit Keenan gets is that she is an Epi-Baby. And she objectively is, right? Like Cynthia Rowley, famous fashion designer. That's her mom. She was featured in that iconic New York Magazine story that went viral in 2022 alongside legit Nepo babies like Dakota Fanning and Maya Hawke. Do you remember this? Why did I say Dakota Fanning? Dakota Johnson and Maya Hawke. Thank you for correcting me. Do you remember this cover?

49:56Christy Noel:I don't, but I mean, yeah. Oh my God. It's Lily, Rose Depp. It was iconic, you guys. It was basically celebrity Nepo babies faces photoshopped onto little babies in a hospital. And the cover says she has her mother's eyes and agent. That's extremely overanalyzing Hollywood's Nepo baby boom. So she was included in that, which that's pretty big. Yeah. Alongside Dakota Johnson and Zoe Kravitz. Yeah. Lily Rose Depp. She was also referenced in a 2022 Washington Post article about Nepo babies. And her quote was actually very impressive. She says, I know what I've been given in life, and I'm trying to use these opportunities to help other people and just recognize that.

50:45She says, it doesn't mean that you finish the race already in first place, but you started with a huge head start. I think the worst thing a Nepo baby can do is say that they earned everything they had all on their own. So she definitely gets points for owning it.

50:59Christy Noel:No, I love what you said here. You're like, but how exactly is she helping people? Oh, yeah, because she says in her quote, I'm trying to use those opportunities to help other people. Like, in what way? How have you helped people? By teaching us how to cook? How to chop? How to chop, how to assemble. But yeah, she gets points for owning it. So, good for her. More than a lot of other Nepo babies can say. Yeah, oh my God. And I think that's the biggest criticism of Nepo babies is that they always seem so opposed to just owning it. They have this innate aversion to just literally acknowledging the fact that they have had a head start.

51:37The fact that she can even just admit, yeah, I had a head start. I know the bar is on the floor, but it's better than 99 % of Nepo babies these days who are like, I've made it completely on my own.

51:50Christy Noel:Kylie Jenner. It's really hard. Yeah. Every single Nepo baby that I can think of in Hollywood has said something except Alison Williams. Alison Williams is another one who acknowledges that she had like a head start in life. But just so Kylie's like self-made billionaire. And yeah, and Kendall and Kendall being like, you guys don't understand, it was harder for me to become a model because of who my family was. Shut up. Give me a break. I can't. Kendall's the worst. I'm sorry. Kylie, I like. Kendall, it's too much. Kendall's the worst. Kendall's my B.E.C. Yeah. So in a 2023 E! News interview that she did with her mom, She also embraced the Nepo baby label that is saying that just because she doesn't work for her mom's brand doesn't mean she hasn't benefited from who her mom is.

52:32She says she doesn't know she would be as successful as an influencer without her mom's backing, which is true. Probably like even if she was on The Bachelor without having a famous mom. We always talk about the reason so many of these influencers are able to pivot to influencing rather than working real corporate jobs is because of having rich parents in a safety net.

52:53Christy Noel:Yes. Influencing is a lot. We always give influencers props. Like, it's a lot of work. I could never do it personally. So hard. It's like having to, like, film shit and constantly film your life and edit videos and do content for brands. And I know that oftentimes it looks like they're making a ton of money for very little work. And I think that's sometimes true, but like it's overall a lot of work. So it's really hard to like, I, it's so impressive when these influencers that have full-time jobs and then just start posting and then they're able to quit their full-time jobs from being so successful at influencing.

53:28I find that very impressive. And I know that always like changes their content and people get annoyed with them because they like their corporate job content. But I find that very impressive when people are able to manage corporate jobs and influencing. That's not a work. So moral of the story is, I think that anyone probably could become an influencer if they didn't have to worry about making money. Right.

53:49Christy Noel:And this is a common thread amongst so many people that we have talked about. Yeah. Bernstein, Tings, Kit Keenan. And I think also another thing that influencers don't often get credit for as well is just sacrificing your ability to live in the moment because you need to film for something to monetize later. Oh, my God. That would be the worst part. Yeah. I mean, it really is. It really is tough. So I think a lot of people that just see people on yachts and living fabulous lifestyles can't appreciate what it actually took and the hustle and the grit and quite honestly, like the annoying things you have to do.

54:26Christy Noel:Yeah. The work is not necessarily difficult. It's just you're always on and it's constant. Like you're not in Excel crunching numbers or like, I don't know, having to stick it to the man and talk with whatever, but work for the man. But it's still hard. I don't know. It's different than hard. Absolutely. I completely agree. Oh, in this screenshot, she is poking fun at the Nepo baby label and she says, you're such a Nepo. God forbid my mom works hard to give me the world and make her dreams come true. So she seems to embrace this label. Something that's funny is that her mom, Cynthia Rowley, basically admitted that she doesn't think either of her daughters.

55:03Oh, she has a stepsister. I think I forgot to mention her named Gigi Powers. So she has a younger stepsister. And Cynthia Rowley said that she doesn't think Kit or Gigi want to, quote unquote, work as hard as I do. And neither of them are interested in stepping in and running her label. Oh, interesting.

55:23Christy Noel:So Gigi Powers is actually her half-sister because Cynthia and Bill Powers had Gigi based on this E! News article. Yes, yes. She's basically said they don't want to work hard, which is like very insulting. But I guess she recognizes that, that her daughters want to live kind of a life of leisure. Sure. But she explained that Kit is in the fashion world, but she's not a designer. She said that when it comes to her brand, she's just going to work until she's 110 years old because she doesn't trust her daughters to work hard enough to take over her brand. So it seems like, again, Kent really embraces the Nepo baby label and embraces that privileged lifestyle.

56:10And I can't necessarily hate on that. Yeah. Yeah. It's like she wants to live a life of leisure. That's what she's used to. She doesn't want to work hard and that's fine. That brings us to her very out of touch content that she very often posts. She is frequently referred to as extremely out of touch, tone deaf. Like we said, she seems to fully embrace that label of rich and privileged girl on social media, almost in a braggy way, in a way that's kind of icky. And again, it's like, at least she's not pretending to be someone she's not. At least she's not pretending to be like a bootstraps. But that said, in today's like economy slash job market, some of that content is just borderline offensive and insensitive.

56:50She refers to herself as rich, literally calls herself rich. And you're not rich.

56:55Christy Noel:Your mom's rich. Well, I guess she is rich because, yeah, now she is. I take that back. But she loves being a little rich girl. She literally calls herself that and brags about how lucky her lot is in life. And I think that goes hand in hand with being like, look, I am an Epi baby. people like don't you wish you were too it's just like obnoxious so here are some screenshots here is from her snapchat account where she's complaining about her hair she often complains about how her hair is really thin so she's always getting extensions she goes why can't i just be rich skinny pretty and have a perfect boyfriend a fun job a great rig i think she means gig and long rapunzel hair so she's saying i'm rich skinny pretty have a perfect boyfriend a fun job blah, blah, blah.

57:38But I just don't have long Rapunzel hair. It's almost like rage baby. And then here's another one where she's frolicking on a yacht. And she says, when someone says I'm out of touch, but I never claim to be down to earth. Yeah, it feels rage baby. Like in today's economy, I know that like, that's such a cliche to say, but like, it's true. A lot of people are struggling right now. I know, unfortunately, a lot of people that have lost their jobs in the past year that are having a lot of trouble finding new jobs and it's this job market. People are really, really, really struggling. Shut up, Kit.

58:10Shut up. It's just like annoying. There was another post that she posted with her sister where they said nothing more humbling than saying the shirt looks big and then it fits you perfectly. And someone commented, wait, what size are we in this top? And her sister replied, extra small. So they're complaining about, oh my God, it's so humbling when your extra small top looks big, but then it fits you perfectly. It just is kind of like, ugh. Like a little bit fat phobic. Yeah, 100%.

58:38Christy Noel:Yeah. As for Kit's plastic surgery, she has been very open about her boob job, which I will not comment on her boob job. Some people think it does not look amazing. So I think with food jobs, what's interesting is that some people, when they get a breast augmentation, a lot of people actually enjoy the look of it looking incredibly fake. It's sometimes like you want it to look as fake as can be because that's the look you're trying to achieve. I think with kids, just from looking at this screenshot, it almost appears as if she's going for that look. Because it's clearly fake. Like you can get a breast augmentation and have it look very natural.

59:27Christy Noel:I think Taylor Swift is a very good example of that. She definitely, I think, has had her breasts augmented, but it doesn't look incredibly fake. With Kits, you can clearly see these are not her real. Right. And she's very open about it. I think Halle Batchelder is another one where she's like, I want them to look fake. And that tracks for someone like Halle Batchelder because I feel like she is that grungy party girl. Yes. I feel like with Kit, I'm like, but you're supposed to be the Martha Stewart Blair Waldorf. What do you mean you want like bolt-ons? So she posted a lot of content about her boob job admitting to it.

1:00:05And in this video, she said, when someone asked how I have such an awesome rack, I paid thousands of dollars for it. And the comments, the comments are so mean. These comments are, girl, what? These are beyond botch. They're in different time zones. Why are they in different zip codes? Someone goes, no way. You're telling me these aren't real? Yeah, they look. I mean, if that's the look she wants and she achieved it. Yeah. People are obviously free to do whatever they want with their body. And if she likes it, that's all that matters. But what is interesting is that she has been very, very open about her boob job, but is outright denied getting lip filler.

1:00:46Interesting. And it's very obvious that she has gotten lip filler, in my opinion. She has said multiple times that she has never done Botox. She's never done filler. In this screenshot, she says, I don't have Botox yet, but I will start when I see resting wrinkles. I don't have filler and I probably never will. Even the migration thing scares me, but I'll keep you updated, LOL. And if you look at side by sides, it's very obvious that she has gotten lip filler, at least a lip flip. It's so interesting to me when influencers cop to certain procedures and then deny getting other ones like I guess boob jobs are acceptable to admit for some reason but then anything on their faces I think of Paige Lorenz Paige Lorenz has been open about her boob job but has totally denied doing anything to her face even though it's very obvious I don't know I think that there's something more socially acceptable about maybe it's like a male gaze thing even where it's like yeah I got a boob job but this face all natural as well yeah yeah and it's almost like the term

1:01:49Christy Noel:boob job has been around since we were young too. I think something about altering your face is less, I think now definitely it's far more common and everyone knows everyone gets work done on your face, but it's almost like something that was so hush hush when we were younger. And I feel like that stigma still is around, even though it's so much more common to get things done on your face, or maybe it's been done all along and people just frankly weren't talking about it. I don't know. But that is an interesting kind of contrast between why is it so shameful to say you've gotten something as minimal as lip fillers done.

1:02:22Yeah. And then another interesting thing about Kit that I forgot to write down but I just thought of is that she's obsessed with telling everyone how into rap music she is. And she is constantly – I know.

1:02:34Christy Noel:That's so pick me. She's like, you have no idea that when I'm running on the treadmill in this little pink set that I'm listening to this. Oh my God. You're so cool. So unique. Yeah. She's not like other girls. So overall, I would say that Kit Keenan is pretty harmless for the most part. I think her biggest flaw is that she is incredibly braggadocious about being wealthy and privileged and out of touch. and while it's I guess okay to be those things and to admit that you are those things rather than it's like would we rather her pretend that she like just pulled herself up by the bootstraps and like got everything earned everything herself or would we rather her I guess there's probably a happy medium just be humble about it yeah I think the lack of humility is probably what is the most frustrating if I were to follow her just the unrelatability some people like that content if you like that's how I am with housewives I want it to be aspirational I want it to be not relatable and I think if you're looking for that kind of content you will certainly find it in Kit Keenan just based on who she is who her family is yeah but it doesn't seem like she's said or done anything necessarily horrific there are far more influencers like I think some people that I get frustrated with.

1:04:05Christy Noel:I always go back to like Shannon and Lames, less so Shannon, more so Lames of like grifter energy, people that are dishonest. I think that's what I don't like in an influencer. It feels like she's very, she pushes out what's very genuine to her, which is unrelatability. And if you like seeing that shit, then this is the perfect person to follow. Yeah. I think also some of the stark she gets is about how she has had so many opportunities and obviously has this immense amount of privilege, which she, of course, acknowledges. But then, like, she's still really, like, boring. And it's like, well, like, what...

1:04:45You have all these opportunities, but, like, what are you actually doing besides shilling links and going to influencer events? And if that's, like, her prerogative, that's her lot in life, those are her goals, than chore. I think people are just kind of like, whoa, you're not going to do something more interesting. You used to go out with like Kaya Gerber and Madison Beer and you kind of used to be this cool it girl. And now you're just like on the NYC influencer scene going to Amazon events. Like it almost feels like some of the stuff that she does feels too cheap. Got it. For someone that should be, I think maybe a little bit more elevated.

1:05:25Christy Noel:Yeah, someone of her pedigree. If you are a Blair Waldorf, you will not be going on an Amazon influencer type event. Yeah, in like shilling cheap fast fashion. Right. But I think it's the easy way to live, I would say. And I think she likes that and she embraces it. She, like we said, likes to live a life of leisure. And I think obviously a lot of people like her content. She has a lot of followers. She's very successful. I think people do, even if we don't think that her cooking videos are super impressive. Some people like to watch them and some people probably make her recipes. Maybe I'm just jealous of getting to live in a West Village townhouse.

1:06:03Of course.

1:06:04Christy Noel:Of course. I mean, we're human at the end of the day and it seems like she's, she's haven't had to work very hard for what she has. I think now she probably does have to work a bit to maintain being like compete with the influencer sphere. But I think her life has probably been pretty easy. And I think that's something to envy because we're human. And everyone also doesn't want to work and have the luxuries without having to earn it, you know? Yeah. That's a normal thing. Yeah. Who doesn't want to live life on easy mode like Kit Keenan? So what are your closing thoughts on Kit? I don't think I would follow her.

1:06:40Christy Noel:I think she's a bit of a younger demographic that I wouldn't necessarily relate to. And the aspirational content that she's offering is something that I would like to see. I feel the same way about Becca Bloom. Are you in the Becca Bloom lore? I don't follow her, but I am like aware of her. Right, right. So if you guys don't know, she is this Silicon Valley-based influencer. She's an Asian woman who comes from immense wealth. Her family started this huge company, like a conglomerate in China. And then it went public. And then they moved to, I think, Atherton, which is like the most expensive zip code, I think, maybe in the entire country.

1:07:14Christy Noel:It's where all the Silicon Valley tech CEOs live. Oh, I'm looking this up. Should I look on Zillow? Yeah, it's like one of the most coveted zip codes in all of California for sure. Oh my God. This is going to be a fun rabbit hole. Yeah. So she has kind of created this huge following on TikTok from having incredibly aspirational content and even more so than even Kit Keenan. For instance, she'll feed her dog caviar for breakfast in the morning. She's showing diamond. Okay, that's too much. It's too much. No, it's way too much. I don't follow her, but she's been very divisive online because people say this is like way too exorbitant and religious in the way that you're living.

1:07:54Christy Noel:It's almost just a slap in the face. And I feel like if you want content like that, it's fully available for all of us to consume. But I don't necessarily relate to these people and I don't really care to see them. But there are some people that it's like voyeurism and they fully enjoy it. So if you want stuff like that, I think we need to do a Becca Bloom episode. She will be really good. Yeah, I think so. I think so too. And some people don't want to be relatable. Rachel Hollis. My goal is not to be relatable. In fact, I want to be unrelatable. I live an unrelatable life. What makes you think?

1:08:25I want to be relatable.

1:08:28Christy Noel:I have a woman that comes and scrubs my toilets. That is her job twice a week. Our Rachel Hollis episode was so good. Go listen to that if you haven't. But yeah, she doesn't want to be relatable. But I think for me, I'm like, you're just like not relatable enough for me to hit follow. You know, and I don't think her content is interesting enough, her style, her quote unquote cooking. But again, I'm not her target demo. She's much younger than me. I think that she has found plenty of success from doing what she does. So can't can't knock it. I'm just not going to partake. I don't think. Yeah. If you guys follow her, let us know kind of what you like about her content, what we missed, if we did miss anything.

1:09:14Christy Noel:other than that I think that's all she wrote do you have anything else you want to talk about Sophie no I feel like that's about it on Kit Keenan one of our fave Nepo babies yes Kit Clementine yeah let us know you guys if you are a Kit follower if you've made her recipes I'm very, very curious. And in the meantime, don't forget to literally, okay, I'm on our Instagram right now. No one travels more, first of all. Yeah, probably because she has that boyfriend that lives abroad. She's probably traveling even more. All the time. Yeah. Good for her. Good for her. Okay. Anywho, follow us on Instagram at snarkbeatpod to see that aforementioned announcement.

If there's one refresh worth making this summer, it's your bedding. Trust me. Summer nights always leave me wanting bedding that feels lighter, more breathable, et cetera, et cetera. And Quince has been my go-to for so long now. They focus on high quality materials like European linen and bamboo without the luxury markup. My absolute favorite is their 100 % organic cotton percale sheets duvet cover. The material is so crisp and comfy and even has a cooling effect, which is obviously perfect for those hot summer nights.

1:10:43I also love the look of it. They help keep your hair smooth and skin hydrated overnight because they don't absorb your natural oils like other materials do. This bedding is made for literal beauty sleep, you guys. Quince has everything you need to upgrade your bedding for summer. Lightweight sheets, airy linen shams, seasonal colors and timeless patterns like stripes and soft neutrals.

1:13:02It's finally summer, which means all of us, hopefully most of us, are going to be spending a lot more time outside touching grass. And when was the last time you upgraded your outdoor furniture situation? Wayfair is your one-stop shop for outdoor seating, grills, appliances, patio lighting, storage, rugs, decor, you name it. Everything you need to make your outdoor area the best seat in the house. We only have an itty-bitty balcony in New York City, but thanks to Wayfair, we made the most of our tiny space with a perfect little bistro set and twinkle lights. I'm so excited it's finally warm enough to use it again.

1:13:34My favorite thing to do during the warm weather months is have coffee and breakfast out there with Baxter on sunny mornings. It's my favorite start to the day and it wouldn't be possible without my Wayfair furniture. I also really appreciate that Wayfair has installation and assembly services because outdoor furniture can be heavy and intimidating to assemble. It makes the experience truly seamless and stress-free. But my favorite part about Wayfair, you don't have to take out a freaking loan or remortgage your house just to make your space as gorgeous as possible. Especially if you, like me, are not in your forever home yet and you don't want to slurge on major investment pieces.

1:14:06I love how affordable everything at Wayfair is. Patio season is here and these deals won't last. Head to Wayfair.com right now to get your outdoor space ready for way less. That's W-A-Y-F-A-I-R.com.

1:14:21Christy Noel:Wayfair, every style, every home. With the weather lately, I feel like I'm always out and about doing things. Errands, workouts, beach days, you name it. And when summer hits, I am always reminded that I need clothes that can actually keep up with all of that. And that's why I joined Fabletics as a VIP. It completely changed how I shop for a new season. New VIPs unlock major savings on their first purchase, so stocking up on cute, comfortable pieces doesn't feel like some major splurge. When I signed up as a new VIP with Fabletics, I got 70 to 80 % off of everything. It made it so easy to grab multiple matching sets, shorts, tanks, and lounge pieces for the summer without overthinking it.

1:14:58Christy Noel:And the quality is genuinely so good. Fabletics pieces feel like ultra luxe activewear you'd expect from some of those higher end brands, you know the ones, but without the hefty price tag. These pieces are built to actually last. And I love that for me. My genuine absolute favorite piece I've gotten is the Anywhere Cropped Bra Tank. It's a perfect workout top that I can throw on for a workout just to record, run errands, go out to lunch. And genuinely, my boobs look really good. They're like, they suck in and like perk up just the way I like it. And I just genuinely love how easy it is to get dressed with Fabletics and how put together I look without having to actually think about it.
