In short

The hosts discuss “AI actors” and a Hollywood backlash against an AI-generated actress (Tilly Norwood), arguing AI can’t replicate human authenticity and will fail commercially if audiences don’t engage. They also talk about music promotion vs comedy/silly content, creative burnout and taking breaks, and review recent films and pop-culture news.

Guests

No guests appear in the transcript; it’s a two-host conversation (Lou and Susan). They mention other people only as references (e.g., Bill, musical directors, managers, celebrities).

Key claims

AI acting is “stupid” because it “doesn’t exist” in the human sense; it’s like NFTs—money wasted on something without intrinsic value. They argue artists still need human connection and live performance for real revenue. They also claim viral TikTok success is harder to convert into music streams.

Notable examples

Tilly Norwood; comparisons to NFTs and Bitcoin hype; Drake AI song; Little Sim’s acting/films; Paul Thomas Anderson films (Licorice Pizza, There Will Be Blood); “Parents Teacher Association” movie; Cameron Winter/Geese TikTok resurgence.

43We've currently got this set up because we're trying to find out our way home through where to be in my new house. Yeah, and... So this is the studio. We just don't know what to do. And to be honest, it's getting a bit nippy to be outside. Yeah, it is. The temperature... The heating's come on. The heating's on, underfloor. The winter beckons. Overfloor, underfloor, in the walls. How are you feeling about winter beckoning? I feel really good about it. I think my seasonal depression hit. I think the cat wants to go out. Oh, he's fucking tart. What have you done? It's push up. Push up. Like that?

21Oi! How are we feeling? I'm feeling good. I'm feeling rocking. I'm ready for it. I think my seasonal depression came and went. So I think I got over it. How did you get rid of it? Two vitamin D's a day. It's that simple. And then I'd be taking a tablet in the morning. Oi. I'd be taking two tabs. Hey. Yeah, I'd take one in the morning, one at night. I've got a fork in there, keys. That's good. Sorry for no video last week. I was on my holiday. Yeah. And there was really bad Wi-Fi. So I couldn't upload the video. I'm really, really sorry. It's okay. But we're back now. Everyone say it's okay, Lou.

59It's okay, Lou. Nice. Seeing her next month. Yeah. Yeah, at the Roundhouse. Chat, let us know who's going to be there. She was a Roundhouse before she gave birth. She looked leng when she was preggers. Wow, you look leng. I want to have... So... Rock with you. All night. Rock with you. Do it. Shikley's back. Have you watched it? I watched it last night. What's that? I had three nightmares last night. Susan!

41Dance the night away! What were the... Can we talk about them? One of them was, I'm really scared about the end of the world. I feel really good in my life, but I'm scared that everyone's going to lose rights and get sent to concentration camps. Okay, interesting. So yesterday was like We all got put on a boat And then we all sort of like Dying The Opiea girls are in it And they died first Which is unfortunate So I'm sorry if I'm being in there Bye bye Bollard No it's not Bollard I don't know how you pronounce her name Why have I forgotten her name? Her username Is Bollard It's Bollard Yeah Anyway R.I.P.

18Opiea R.I.P. Us As well Did we go? Yes J you live woo is it bounty patriarchy bouty bouty bouty sorry bouty for that name it's fucking butchering this there's a night away shout out to opiate shout out to opiate um okay you are paranoid the world we're gonna get sent to concentration camps yeah why does this carry into day to day life or just your dreams it's because people hate people right and like I need to get ready for the civil war that's going to happen whose side are you going to be on? the good one yeah, me too what I think is what's going to happen here really is the fucking racist weirdos are going to ultimately get Farage in power he's going to do absolutely nothing like he did with fucking, what's it called, Brexit everyone's going to be vexed and angry and then a civil war's going to happen Brexit that's what's going to happen he already shagged you all over, you fucking idiots and now you're choosing to be racist, ugly fucking weirdos.

23And then you're going to get angry when you make no more money and like, what, he shuts down three immigrant hotels because you guys are nasty fucking bastards and then you still have no fucking money. What do you mean you guys, as if we're like, as if our audience are a reform voter. Wouldn't be surprised. Came to the wrong place. No, because if you put that on TikTok, it'll probably hit the right algorithm. Yeah. The wrong algorithm. Fuck off. But I still don't think he's going to get in power As I've said because of the first past the post voting system Thank you And I think the country isn't as dumb As that hopefully Fingers crossed I think there's more smarties Than there are dummies What about M &M's No I think there are loads of nice What about Rebels Never had Rebels really Never had a rebel I think I've had one.

15You've not known pain until you've bitten into a coffee or an orange revel. And you're just like, fuck. What about a thousand slits on your wrist? Not funny. That's a Friday night to me. Hey, Queen.

31Okay. I feel senile. Wait, actually, sorry. What were the other nightmares? Another one was... I can't even remember, but I woke up three times. I think I had a sex dream about Bonnie Blue last night. nice and I was quite surprised yeah because you're not into Aryan Divas no well maybe I am maybe it's a sign I'm in there lads I'm in there you're strawberry blonde babe and you haven't got blue eyes I used to have green eyes and now the hazel when did that happen I don't know because I always got told I had green eyes and I got with Bill and I was like they're not green and it used to really fucking annoy me thanks Bill thanks Bill what else has been happening in your life I released a song it did fine keep going had to release the next one about to go on tour so we're meeting at MD's today they're good MD's musical directors and for those who aren't in the business what's a musical director they're somebody who looks at your live set and improves it basically or if you need help actually with music I don't need help with that they're like this bit should be live this bit should be tracked we should get a bass here um it's quite a fun job yeah they direct the yeah we've got some good good guys um that's great how we were speaking before we started rolling about how we find it much easier to be silly than to promote music.

04Yeah, I think there's a serious issue and I'm going to say it. I, if we've ever, if you're here listening, I'm cozy. Well, if you have ever stopped at one of our videos, one of Louis' videos separately, one of my videos separately and laughed and thought, wow, that really brought me some joy. Could you just give me three minutes of your time to just listen or save my music? And most of the time, the song's two minutes. So I've just saved you a minute there. Because I think it's really difficult because we're actually both musicians and the reason we started this podcast is to promote music. But sometimes you release music and you're like, this podcast gets like what?

4130 ,000 listens a month. Yes. Right? If we had that on our music, every month I gained 30 ,000 listeners on my music. That would be brilliant. Yeah, or like 10 or like 3 ,000 listeners every month. That's what I mean. Like, so if genuinely, if you listen to this and you haven't listened to our music, please just go over there go over to mortiscream go over to i think separate pages and just fucking stream it save it playlist it like i'm actually asking now because there is there is a point where it hits where like i have a team we have teams we all have people that like rely on us and like essentially you can do all the cool stuff you can do music videos you can do promo videos you can like spend money doing this and the third but like ultimately you need to make money and to make money you don't get opportunity to make money until you have streams so please girls just give us a fucking listen give us a listen we're good it's good different if it was shit it's not shit like it's not shit like i get it if we were like we do music like there's so many people that like do music and like it's like you know them on fucking iMovie making beats yeah We're not influencers making music.

54Yeah, it's the opposite way around. So musicians, we became influencers. So that's what we told them what we just did to fucking do. This isn't like Hugh Laurie making a jazz album or Alexander Armstrong doing like Frank Sinatra. Dan Whitlam coming up with a rap. We're not a comedian making music. We're not Weird Al Yankovic. We're not Kate Tempest. We're not... We're not slam poets turning into rappers. It's funny, we were also about how... No shade on Kayla. Bill was saying like, why don't you just do comedy music like Tim Minchin? No shade on Tim Minchin. All shade on Tim Minchin. I would never.

27I'd rather die. I would rather die than do comedy music. We make good fucking music. Please go listen to it. And if you've listened to it and you're like, actually, I don't like that much. That's fine. That's fine. But the numbers aren't adding up. Yeah, like how we. Please give us a chance. And I was saying this. Yeah, give us a chance. because it's like we did that fucking like the guessing your favorite like boy thing and the first video like each video got like over 10 000 one got 120 000 one got like 40 000 one got 50 000 it's just like we easily make people laugh why can't you easily listen to our music i don't get it it's a trade-off please please and we're not getting you give me a crumb yeah it's just like I just don't get how like it's not connecting like I leave promo music put a song in it and it'll be like my song and it'll go like viral or like semi-viral and you're like oh shit maybe this will do it and he'd go over and it's just like people aren't moving over and I don't get it yeah I think it's maybe I just need to fucking ask for it which I'm doing I think we need to ask for it people do need to be reminded sometimes which is nice I think another thing I'm thinking about is that maybe less so for you actually I don't know but for me I think like even though we've released one sock now too today go peep that hip to be dumb hello tip to drink cum

50but people still aren't understanding maybe that I'm really about this shit no for sure and that's partly my fault because I have created an image as a silly goose yeah um and it's partly just a matter of time and consistency that i think like you just have to actually think of someone like um leah when she's doing her thing raw gabbit i saw her promote it recently and she was just like she just posted like a story every day like no no no please please yeah please actually watch this this is really important because yeah because another thing is is that there's so much noise everywhere that you have to actually just go like no no no this is actually really important to me just give it a chance this is what I do like this is my dream in truth and I'm so grateful and I'm so grateful and I'll never knock it my dream was never to be a podcaster lads my dream was never to make a oh this is pretty rad I mean it's pretty fun and I'm grateful for it don't get me wrong but like my dream was never to do like social media the reason I did social media was to make music happen and I've managed to make social media happen and I'm lucky and I'm so grateful for anyone here but it's also like, can we also just make music happen?

06I will carry on doing social to the day I die. I'll carry on doing this fucking podcast whilst we're in Grammys but I'd like to win a fucking Grammy. And it's not even me being greedy. The whole reason we started this podcast, you can literally go back on this first episode, is we literally say we're musicians who are doing a podcast. That's it. Down. I also think I am starting to doubt like social media in general for my own gain yeah for sure for music I think at least for me obviously as we're discussing it's like it works for being silly but like promoting music is much harder and I also wonder if like there's been like this TikTok gold rush obviously of like you know and maybe we're past the peak maybe we're still in it but like i think there's this idea currently god i'm taking a while to get this out warming it back up to podcast just fingering it just there's this idea in the music industry currently that's like it's all about content yeah it's all about tiktoks you gotta you gotta you know you gotta build an audience on tiktok and in a lot of ways that's true it's the easiest way to advertise yourself and the best most cost effective most time effective way yeah to advertise as well i personally think me as a consumer of music that i am past the stage obviously every now and then i get into like content i get introduced to an artist by a cool music video asset or whatever but i'm thinking increasingly that i'm like you know what i actually just want to see i want to see just like real artistry consistency yeah the fundamentals like i want to see you i want to see you play live so like i've been too long personally i've been worrying too much about all the things that like surround music now because like you have to be to be successful you have to be good at lots of things you have to be good at marketing yourself you have to be good at branding so i have kind of gone and like having good connections so i did all these things like you know getting a label job yeah and becoming good at social media because i was like this is what you need to do to have a six-half music career i'm now zig i'm now zagging on that yeah where i'm like you know what let's just focus on even like running a night like i do love running yeah the night and october 31st save the day hello you bastard um but i'm doing all these things that like you have to build the 360 model of art yeah you know what i actually think i should just do is that I should write loads of good music and get really good at playing live.

52And I think that'll cut through. And you have to do it loads. Yeah. I think it's like, I mean, I was at Sweet Sweetheart team the other day and my manager was like, look, the modern pop star has to do everything. And I 100 % get it and I will do everything. And I really like doing social media. And we both really like doing social media. It's just more like, it's so easy for you to get like, you get stuck in people's minds of like what you do like or like you know what you are known to them for and i think you start thinking it's like people are multifaceted but also on the base note of it like we were we were and continue to be musicians and basically i think honestly i think i actually hold quite a bit of shame with it at the minute where it's like i think you know i've finally been invested in and i feel quite embarrassed that like i can make a video of me doing the same something stupid and get like easily a thousand and likes and then like it's like like pulling teeth to get a thousand listens on my music and like it's like that's the thing that like essentially is like being like paid for and like needs to i don't know needs to like make a return like i don't know how i will do it because i'll do everything and i'll do everything i say i'm gonna do but right now i genuinely don't know how i'm gonna do it and like that's what's making me feel like and that's why i'm fucking asking maybe it's just the case of asking hopefully is it's just kind of like i i don't i don't know yet like we can make funny videos and this on the third but it's getting rarer and rarer for an artist to pop off on go viral on tiktok you know what i mean like it's like but i don't know if you want to go viral either exactly i don't know if we spoke about this on or off air but i'd much rather kind of build, build, gradually build and go viral.

39Yeah. And then like... And then when you do go viral, you've got to back up. And then it's so fucking hard to back it up and you miss all these like crucial steps along the way that gain you like approval of a... Like if you go like stratospheric... Yeah. You skip out like, oh, I should play this level of venue then this level of venue and then like this person at Radio 6 liked me and then this person at Radio 1 liked me and then like... it's i think it's better to graft i agree and also it's like maybe i don't know it's interesting should we like have less expectation and and the music is like our our passion that we just enjoy yeah and we actually earn money from elsewhere or is it like no then you're like you're not taking the music seriously enough i think that's the thing is it's like i want i was like to talk to about this a lot um and we're both talking obviously he's an actor and at the minute he's busy and i'm busy like i'm about to go on tour and he's filming something at the minute that's good and so he's a power couple around but like i think it's this thing that we're both saying like we really enjoy that like it's nice to have like a point and worth and do the thing that you really love and like you know he's away i'm away it works do you know what i mean and like that works for like there's like these mid points where you're kind of like i think being a creative it's like weird and having like a creative job is it's like you'll have nothing and then you have everything for a few weeks and it might and i suppose getting bigger in music like you then do like an album cycle so like okay you're busy for six months but then there's these that weird down periods that people in nine to fives don't have and that i literally just had nine to five let's just left one and it's just kind of like i've never not had downtime on any time it's not correct like it's weird like i think it's so strange i can't really get out my point but as in um not having a nine-to-five yeah so if you don't have a nine-to-five and you've got a creative job there's always like weird little downtimes in between where it's like i'd actually just like my creative job to be successful and fruitful so i don't have to have downtime i can just have a nine to five in my creative job yeah imagine if you had a studio no literally like all week no but this is the thing is it's like this week i'm like pretty busy doing creative stuff all week like well doing my job all week because everything's lined up nicely i'm like yeah this is what it's like to have a life yeah and have a job but then for the last three weeks i've been like pretty aimless waiting for everything to line up waiting for like producers to be free and waiting for like tour to happen and waiting for the mds to be free waiting for this to happen and this happen and it's that kind of like it's that kind of thing isn't it it's just kind of like it all aligns you're like oh my god i'm busy this is really nice and then like after october like november's looking pretty quiet do you know i mean you're like shit like shit when actually like if you choose to do something and also there are people probably listen to this and be like oh listen to these do complain about it but it's like you chose your job and you get to do your job every day and your dream job every day if you're a graphic designer or like whatever the fuck we choose in ours which is like social media music we all deserve to be able to work a job in that do you know what i mean well yeah but not everyone chooses their job i would say yeah well so it's for you like pick a job you like then do you know what i mean I don't get it like okay let's go what in here though like it's like what picky job you like then yeah but what if you're thick as fuck and you and you came from humble beginnings and you didn't your summer runs just got a boost of energy in Lululemon's shake it out shorts made in our ultra breezy lightweight swift fabric the shake it out shorts have a flowy layered hem and a comfy built in liner These shorts keep you locked in for miles with distraction-free storage and a waistband that doesn't budge.

26I'm not going to say anything. I think what I will say is I have to remind myself every now and then that why I started making music is to just enjoy it. Because all these things you're describing, like the musical director or all the shit that surrounds it. and it's like even for me like you you have management so it's a little bit more of a well-oiled machine there's a little bit more shit going on around it for me personally like the only reason i'm doing all the stuff around it like promo and emailing people press radio whatever is because i worked at a label so i know to do that but every now and then you just have to go like wait when you're getting so stressed about i haven't done this i haven't done this shit I need to do this oh shit the fucking content isn't doing well is the music video good I don't know and you're like hang on yeah why am I doing this this is for a laugh because I yeah exactly I like this it's for a laugh doesn't really matter it's because I liked it it's because I wanted to write a song about this it's because I like writing songs cool yeah let's just do that yeah if people like it people like it and if don't I'm still gonna if they don't I'm still gonna do it anyway well that was the thing we were having a conversation before with Bill Walsh having breakfast then and he was like it's a shame because it's like so for example my song that just came out um it's funny that like you already equate the success of its streaming for example to like how good it is when actually you made it and thought it was amazing yeah and then it's so funny that when it comes out and other people sound like oh well maybe it wasn't as good as it is and it's just like no it's still fucking good it's just like perhaps it didn't get eaten the way that it was meant to be in at the time like but even looking at songs like party for you like people have just started eating that have you seen that you ha ha ha from charlie's first album's trending no and And you're like, it's taken this long for everyone to realise that that is one of the best songs of all time.

20Yeah, exactly. But it's just kind of like, for so long it was written off. That whole album was written off. And now everyone's going back to her first album, which is panicking me a bit because that's like my gatekeeping boots. Yeah. Well, I mean, it's like, there's just, and another thing in all of this is there's just so much music. Yeah. And there just aren't that many funny people, Sue. No. It's hard being us, obviously. it's like it's yeah i think there's two things it's that music is like foreground media whereas this is very much background media yeah and then the other thing we're good at is making silly videos which is like on people's phones they're on instagram and tiktok all day and it's about 15 seconds usually so it's just much easier to cut through yeah um and there's more demand for it but that being said please talk about things please listen to our music please um i want to give a quick shout out to uh sam samuel almost said samuel samuel because when i was in cornwall I went to a Tesco.

34Tesco. I went to Tesco Helston Superstore and got recognised. Got recognised at the wrong fucking superstore. You know what I mean? You can keep that. By Samuel. And I was like, why am I struggling with Samuel so much? Samuel. Samuel was so sweet. Yeah. And he was like, sorry, are you Louis? Yeah. I was like, yeah. I was like yeah and and he was like I'm literally I literally listen to Straight Diva right now he's like I listen to every episode no way I was like what the fuck I'm in the middle of fucking Cornwall yeah and he was so sweet oh that's so nice and I just couldn't believe we have fans all across the land I maybe sometimes wrongly we assume that just kind of it's in East London Yeah, it's East London annoying.

34But no, we have normal folk too in Cornwall. No, Samuel was pretty sick. Was he fit? Yeah, he was gorgeous. Oh, Samuel. I've got a man, Samuel. Back off. Please. Have you ever been to Cornwall? Yeah, I had an artist residency in Penryn. No way? Yeah. Fuck off. When I was 22. How was it? it was amazing and they literally paid me to go down then they gave me a studio on the sea what and then yeah and then they're like just make music for a week and I literally just kiki'd read books and just like drank with people that I met there oh my god it was fierce yeah it's a they're called siren studio at siren studio at the fish factory arts and they have like a studio and it's like women run and you can apply fish factory yeah the fish factory yeah it's sick or fish factory me when I took bitch I haven't showered today lads it's actually wrong so I think the summer holiday is definitely over now thank god the heating is definitely on but what's the coldest okay I'm going to give you three options me and I start the chain yeah or my tootsies yeah or yeah on site by Kanye West or oh I was listening to that last night the house my bloody landlord won't fix the bloody boiler I'm gonna get Ash Sarkar to give this cunt a Clapton smile what's the coldest so my landlord is my boyfriend great until it isn't so we're going to give the clapton smile to him with Ash Sarkar getting round to just kick Bill in so not that one my tutsis I have really cold feet I'm a cold person I run really cold well I run quite hot but my feet run very cold you need to take your toe rings off then where you go to bed if anyone's met Louis if you hear his feet they jingle because he's got so many rings on his toes I style

00Jesus chain, what the fuck are they called? G! what's the Jesus chain that rappers work? my Jesus piece anyway I see you out right, so what have we got on the agenda today? it's movie season folks yeah it is Sue I think has watched one or two movies. I watched two movies this week. I watched Steve. I am Steve. Well, it's now out on Netflix. We went to the cinema to watch it because we're rich. That's kidding. That's kidding. But Lil Sim's in it. Simby. It was really lovely. And what's his face? Cillian Murphy. And it was really nice. Quite a stressful film. It's based on the book called Shy. I don't know that book.

50I have watched the trailer for Stephen. It's good. It's just like, have you watched The Bear? Yes. The Bear Lies Chessers You Out. Is it? But it's really nice because it's like an indie film that's clearly been made because Kaleem Murphy wants it to be made because he's like the name. Yeah. And Nilsons, obviously. I liked some of the lines in it. It looked good. Yeah. You can't seriously think it's a good idea to smoke weed and be getting fucking baked at 8am in the morning. In the morning. Yeah, honestly. But then we went to see, what's it called? who's that director wait kelly murphy's also talking about his son listening to geese did you see that right we actually were talking about this this morning on our little morning geese geese geese geese what's happened what's a geese they've been about for ages what's happened so have they gone viral or something what's happened well cameron winter the front man had an out of solo album come out last year that has yes i know i know that done very well and i think yeah i'm really surprised he's got very big on tiktok oh um and yeah a load of songs from that album have gone very big on tiktok okay um actually unbeknownst a kind of little industry secret that was paid for for a lot of that was paid for for the label even though it felt so organic anyway it always fucking is though um but i yeah and then they're just having they're just having a moment i guess yeah i can't believe it we me and bill willie just stay the same like they've been around for time i don't get it but everyone's obsessed well they were kind they're kind of like the windmill band of new york like they all went to private school naturally um cameron winter's obviously very talented man with a very interesting weird affectation on his voice.

39On his voice. Today I met who I'm gonna be. Maybe I need to get into him. He's got some bangers. That's my geese impression. Yeah. They do just sound a lot like the Rolling Stones to me sometimes. I haven't listened to the new album yet. But they've also, I can tell you, they've got great they've had a great press run yeah sometimes they do and it's nice to see that obviously like someone like two albums deep can start popping off for sure like i like to see that like it takes people a while so i'm happy for them and i'm happy that they're all privately educated yeah their money just stays up it is just fucking like i do have this kind of repeated thing where i really like someone's music or i really like someone's writing or i really look up to someone and then I find out that they went to private school as well and I'm like, oh.

38The bubble bursts again. Yeah, my kindred spirit. For fuck's sake. Yeah, not this. But anyway, Grease are having an all-time press run. They're the band of the moment. Well done to them. Well done, Giz. Cillian Murphy likes them. Cillian Murphy's son likes them. Dove Ellis is supporting them on tour in America. Oh, yeah, nice. Shout out to EMF. And that's all I had to say. They've really done Dove Ellis good, haven't they? really launched of ellis on spotify really well radar yeah really good really proud of proud of his team but quite funny yeah really nice yeah shout out fabian phipps yeah is fabian managing him yeah fabian's managing him yeah oh i didn't know that yeah yeah yeah yeah oh fabian's managing him yeah and he's my best music um because he's with amf or black butter amf that's sick because that's Eve we love Eve and Saskia oh I love Saskia as well she sold me shout out Saskia she sold me jeans on Peckham Peckham car boot for 15 quid and they were acne because I was like how much of these she was like 25 I was like nah just put them back went right around went to have kiki she was like I don't give you 15 shout out Saskia honestly Saskia works for AMR and Young and Young yeah legend and one more I don't know pretty fucking cool she literally don't know me like that I just met her once and I just know who she is I met her at hi marilyn but i i think eve's doing him as well yeah probably i love that girl okay great shout out to eve shout out to eve sorry for that digression killian murphy is in steve and little sims as well as an acting debut no she was in top boy babe oh my god she's been in loads little sims i once saw her at notting hill carnival she was in front of me getting some jerk pork and someone was like oh I saw her the other day at the H &M party someone was like I swear I know you that's funny I swear and she was like I don't know I don't know what I was with I'm not going to say that it's Puffer Bait I'm not going to say it you're a celebrity now no so I was at the H &M party and ran into some people and little things was there I don't know who I suppose am I bait maybe we're too bait maybe I need to shut my mouth can H &M just fuck off for a second H &M they actually didn't invite me I went I plus one did you didn't plus one did I did that's not what you told me H &M yeah I went with Laura yeah she got the invite did she yeah which H &M are you thinking I thought you broke it oh yeah we did well we had the invite but basically what happened was Laura used to work at the 180 building so she still had her fob so we fobbed in went up to the floor that it was and then we walked down and in security like we're like why are you here and Laura was like I literally work here and they're like no you don't and she was like yes I do and then she got like a fob out and then she had tickets and she was like we're fine and then we all walked down showed like a rail card and then yeah and then we waited a couple hours we were like sober and then eventually they let the riff raff in and everyone was like I love straight divas and I was like period and then I ran into some divas and it was nice.

55Honestly, lovely. But H &M, chill the fuck out. It's a tote bag full of fast fashion gifts. Oh, I love fast fashion. Yeah. I love Bershka music.

11Isn't it funny how brands... I didn't think Fabian was managing things. That's sick. I've got Fabian. Fabian is a... Oh, he's going to smash it then. He's going to smash it. god people are really doing well I really need to book my fucking ideas up no you don't Fabian's a workaholic I need to be workaholic again though I'm a lazy fat bitch do we can't we just do a podcast look at us yeah now I'm showered today do a podcast and just have fun with music smeggy dick what I'm joking I'm joking you're usually the one that teases me about having a smeggy dick maybe it's just a joke guys um anywho i digressed from movie season yeah and you have seen the new pca the new parents teacher association yeah i did it was it's very entertaining and there was this chase scene where it goes up and down up and down it actually felt like you were doing that it's really good it was two and a half hours long yeah i thought oh no because i'm a we're i'm a we're like i like if i think about a wee, I'll need a wee.

20Okay. I'm full of piss and I'm a piss head. But I went thoroughly entertained so much to an even wee. I was so, you can't leave, you see, Tiana Taylor, her face, do you know Jungle Pussy? 40:19Deep inside, deep. All right.

24Paul Thomas Anderson. Thank you for your service, King. Paul Thomas Anderson. I saw his last film, Nickerish Pizza, in the cinema. and I thought it was brilliant. Bill was telling me all about, I talk about a boyfriend too much. No, you don't. So the person that I spent my life with said the other day, he was just saying, have you watched this one? I was like, no. And he was like, have you watched this one? I was like, no. There's always a Paul Thomas Anderson film you haven't seen. I haven't seen any other than this one. I've only seen Giggy Nights. Yeah, Bill was like, you'd love that. There Will Be Blood.

58There Will Be Blood. To be honest, great film. A little overrated. A little overrated. everyone hates on licorice pizza like i was what's licorice pizza licorice pizza had alana haim in it i think i did see it actually and philip seymour hoffman's son and i thought it was so great it actually like was one of she was in it and she got shot in the head in the new one and it's fierce i'm not gonna tell you what happens and she wears a horrible wig um i you You know when you see a film or you consume a piece of art that is like truly so inspiring and you're like, oh my God, I need to make. Like, this is the coolest thing.

37Yeah. The feeling I've just got. Yeah. After seeing or feeling this. Yeah. Yeah. It's like, oh my God, I need to make art. That is the true meaning of the life. See, that's lovely. It's like, and then apparently it's his worst film according to all these rankings. Fucking sod off. suck my cunt. You know what it's got? Which, sadly, I've realised has, is a feature of many of my favourite films, is an inappropriate romance. A kind of non-ty romance. Oh, I hate that. I read in a book at the minute, we're all gay films about a non-ty romance, aren't they? Oh, yeah, come on, guys. Come on, guys, can we all just be the same age?

16Yeah. We're the same age. But, like, how old are you? Sorry, I'm 27. Oh, we're not the same age, I'm so young. Yeah, it's a bit annoying that you're younger than me. What should we talk about next, Lou? No, no, no, wait. I'm not done with this. Sorry, sorry, sorry. Pick it up. Fucking hell. Okay, have you ever seen Leon the Professional? No. Natalie Portman, 12-year-old, mid-13. Oh, no. Comes from a horrible family. Portman, to me. Like, a whole family gets killed. This lovely French hitman. Oh. kind of takes care of her and she falls in love with him and she desperately wants to be with him and he's kind of her protector there's a couple of scenes that were cut but it's an incredible film American Beauty Lolita Lolita like am I a nonce is Hollywood noncey yes Hollywood is noncey isn't it yeah and I'm a nonce what's that film as well is it mid 90s where Alexa Demi has to kiss like a 10 year old or something and he's like a skater 90s or what's the kids oh is it kids or mid 90s well mid 90s is basically a ripoff of kids isn't it they're both about yeah kids is like the 90s kind of indie druggy film i feel like there's an underage romance in that mid 90s is jonah hill isn't it yeah yeah that is that and then Alexa Demi.

48Is Alexa Demi in it? Yeah. And then she kisses the kid. Well... It's weird. Nancy Boots. Nancy Boots. Let's... Guys, let's make Nancy cool again. Yeah. Sorry. Just a joke. Um... Okay. What else is up? Oh, shut up. You've ripped out. Yeah. Paul Ola. I don't know what to say apart from Hope You're Okay. What's the... Maybe the discussion point is... Well, she fainted New York. Yeah. She fainted. She fainted. And she was like, guys, I'm not playing the next gig. And then her management put something up and was like, we're pulling Lola out of the next couple gigs. And she's not allowed to not. And then yesterday announced that she's pulling out of everything.

36So I'm really sorry. I'm just not doing well. Because you would. I remember when she announced this album, me and Bill were like, she's literally just finished her other album cycle. She's not had a minute. You would be having a break. and she's so good and this new album's amazing and I just hope she's okay. Yeah, it kind of brings to the fore for me that discussion of like artists taking breaks. Yeah. Who else has done it? Sam Fender, Lewis Capaldi. You need to though. And like there's almost been a cynical response to it from some people, not lots of people, but like this never used to happen like get over yourself this is what it's all about you should be touring but like I guess this is an example of it being literally undeniable because we saw her faint on stage it's sad that it had to get to that point also as well like it's like if you look people like this never used to happen and it's like do you know what else never used to happen is people commenting and thinking they can give an opinion if you look at her TikTok comments it's vile the shit that they say to her is disgusting and then I'm like and everyone's like why don't you just get back up it's like why don't you log on and have thousands of comments calling you fucking minging like you're fucking me like she speaks and people like why does she sound like that it's like because she fucking does like shut up leave the poor girl alone we'll look back at tiktok comments yeah in 20 years like what the fuck was that like what was that why were people that horrible i was like um i didn't expect to feel so much sympathy for barry kehan barry kehan getting murdered in the new he's on a red carpet and he's standing next to harris dickinson i know he does look awful okay but like he does people were killing him he's just got long hair because he's playing ringo star yeah um i mean but anyone's the next harris dickinson's gonna look like yeah exactly yeah and why do we all need to go on like nah bro chop How's Bro so chopped?

41Chopped. Chopped. Chopped is so funny. Chopped is so mean. How did Bro ever fucking get with Sabrina Carpenter? Like, it's horrible. It's the trenches out there. So... Shout out Harris Dickinson. Shout out Harris Dickinson. Hey, shout out Barry Keaton. Yeah. He's a great actor. Maybe he's a bit smug in a couple of interviews. I just don't want him to be liberal. Or an Irish actor. Oh, no, he is Irish. you should be doing that accent. He's an actor. He should do accents. No, but have you heard him do... No, he's not good at accents. As someone who's you, if you heard him doing an accent, you'd be like, oh yeah, that's not good.

18Yeah, I get really... He just like drops his accent. I get really pissed off if people aren't... If actors aren't good at accents. You go to see a play in the West End and it's like, that's your American accent. Yeah, that's what I mean. Well, damn, partner. I can't do accents. I've always relied on the kindness of strangers. The gag is, even if you said do your accent and then start doing another accent. But my accent's subtle. No, it isn't. It's just posh. And speaking of posh. Yeah. Elsewhere in pop culture news this week, ladies and gentlemen, has been news that there's been huge Hollywood backlash about the AI actress Tilly Norwood.

07Yeah, because it's fucking stupid. It's fucking stupid. The thing is, what's really nice is they'll try it. Everyone will be like, no, and not watch it, and then they'll move on. It's the same as like, isn't it like they've just gave a multi-million pound record deal to another AI artist, and it's like, okay, waste some money, because do you know who else they gave a three million pound record deal to? Danny Harmer. How did that go? It didn't, and she's a real person. Like, it's like, babe, no one's going to care, because ultimately, at the same time, how are you gonna make any money off it when artists make most money from playing live also like i don't get like is she gonna be in films alongside purely other ai stars exactly or is she gonna be in films with real actors also she looks fake she looks like a fucking sim because if she's gonna be in films with other ai stars then it's just an animated film yeah exactly you just made a pixar character and sold it for multi-million pounds unless you're saying okay she's gonna get an instagram and she's gonna have like and she's gonna be on red carpets and she doesn't exist and then it can't be on a red carpet and then it's like okay well i don't think i'm gonna give a shit about her it's like pokemon go but actors also yeah i have to turn on my phone to see an actor that's stupid you called her tilly norwood exactly tilly you got an effo baby give her a fucking chance.

27We've got enough fucking posh actors and you called her Tilly. I'm pretty sure I went to school with Tilly Norwood. I'm pretty sure fucking Tilly Norwood's dad works for ITV. It's the same thing as when they did NFTs and everyone was like, buy NFTs now. And then they all flopped and everyone wasted millions on these stupid NFTs. You're literally buying something that doesn't exist. If you turn your phone off, it doesn't exist. Tilly Norwood does not exist. it's just like the point where it's like it's the same thing lava la rue put that point up the other day being like look ai only works if people enjoy ai no one enjoys ai yeah like no one's like oh i can't wait to hear the new drop from tilly norwood who doesn't exist and has never felt anything at the end of the day no matter how much you create the human recreate the human experience you will never be able to recreate it and you can make an ai be able to respond to humans well like those fucking idiots falling for ai but ultimately at the same time you can't finger that do you know what i mean but that drake ai song did kind of go hard though yeah there's a there's an ai uh lana song i am not necessarily opposed to ai being used in art somehow yeah being like used to kind of push push the boundaries of what someone might be able to do to help realize a vision AI is a health, not a product.

50Exactly. Ooh, so I think... I think... Unless they come to take over the world, then I love AI. I think it starts to lose impact for me when it's the whole person of all being. I feel like, ultimately, it won't work because it's like, I want to feel like it comes from a human. And if I... But then you could say, well, what if you don't know? It's not from a human. but 100 % but then it's also then like you want to google it and then you look it up and then it's some like fucking sim it's like yeah it's like when you look at someone and they went to private school and you're like yeah exactly like it's that thing it's like that's the whole thing of it and you want to read more about the person and like get to know and it's like you can create like a whole backstory for someone that doesn't exist but then if I see anywhere that this is AI it's like it doesn't exist yeah I don't I don't get it like I think also similarly to like NFTs it's like even though there was all that hype around it it's like you know what just trust your instincts yeah and like go like wait where is the intrinsic value in this why would i buy this do i get it and like once you know the basic information about it like no i wouldn't care about a fake artificial you must think about all these industries and especially people with money think of them like a and r's right and specifically now even looking at people like tilly norwood like scouts and such and so forth they hear an idea and people with money invest money into it because they don't want to miss a trick in case it does happen but a lot of the times you just got to be aware that a lot of things don't fucking happen and this would be another one of those instances it was the same with nfts a lot of people wasted money that they had because they thought well what if this becomes something then i own shit loads of nfts it's the same when people invest into bitcoin shit it's the same when people invested into like like, you know, Tilly fucking Norwood.

45There'll be a bunch of companies that have a lot of money to waste so they can waste a couple of million signing Tilly Norwood and wasting their money just as much as they invest in, like, shit actors and good actors. Eventually, one pays off and one doesn't. It's the same as, like, people we know who have had big fat record deals and flopped. And people who we know that have had big fat record deals have become, like, fucking lowly young, don't you? Like, do you know what I mean? It's just, like, it's the gamble. But obviously it's blown up because everyone's like, oh my God, no, it's the same.

13like what's his face timbaland's made an ai thing recently and everyone's like oh no it's like well just ignore it yeah i don't get it if no one interacts with it then they'll bin it off like it makes no sense just don't interact with it fair dues is it gonna like hurt the people that make music for adverts probably but like it's not gonna oh no music for adverts oh no Oh, shit. Oh, the Nissan fucking Qashqai is going to be... What? The Kia, the Kia. Justice for the sync musicians. The library producers. Well, exactly. But like that... Now, shout out to the people who make music for library music.

50Yeah. You are fucking... You're the backbone of our size. Yeah. How long have we been talking for? I feel like we've been talking for ages. Yeah, but this is great. I love talking. I love to chat. We have been talking for... Oh my God, 52 minutes. Holy shit. I feel like we better... Wait, wait, wait, wait. We've got so much to talk about, I feel like we should split it up. Okay. Wait, what needs to come? Okay, that doesn't need to come today. That is so funny, though. I can't wait to read that.

24Is there anything from your list that you want to talk about that could... No, I think you can all wait, really. I think that... because we did get a big agony aunt today my dear okay sweet that can wait that can wait oh one thing I do want to talk about today yeah lastly or penultimately because I got an agony aunt is the news about Corsica Studios do you know what is your experience with Corsica Studios did you ever go in your heyday or I actually don't think I've ever been wow so let me tell you about my relationship with Corsica Studios okay please and go google it as well so girls i would say my first good clubbing experience was in corsica studios um beyond like going to a shitty um bar club in notting hill corsica studios was the first good music night i ever went to and i think it's the first time no took my first pinger in berlin second ping I was at Corsica Studios and let me tell you Sue I had the time of my life and a DJ called San Propair was playing the lights come up at the end of the night and the music stops and San Propair being the joker that he is takes his cap off and holds it out as if to say give us some money and I'll keep playing me in my fucking pilled up idiot state takes my own hat off and starts going around the room pinging, going like change and then he'll keep playing the DJ laughs at me and he's like no no no no, it's stop fucking hell and I'm there with my eyes dilated like I've seen a ghost hunched over like fucking Monty Burns when he's like taken is an alien going through the forest like yeah and that was my first experience corsica studios but guys we need to save corsica studios all right we must i know it got a bit fabric there and the and the you know and maybe recent years you go there on a friday night there's a little bit too many white shirts a little bit too many creepy dudes but it's one of the best clubs in london and it gave me so much what are you mocking me up and i'm acting along like so when you do the cuts like um anyway we need to say corsica studios shout corsica studios i don't really know why it's getting shut down they're making a statement they haven't made it yet i think it's all a bit speculative right now hopefully it's just a pr move so people more people go to the club uh but i imagine it isn't so get your petition signing fingers at the ready whenever that's going to come and shout out to Corsica Studios for giving me formative formative club experiences formative formative wanks as well no wanking in the club that would be a bit weird wanks in the club love FK wanked in a pub though once did ya yeah my ex sent me a nude and I had a wank in a pub toilet good for you seven pints down crazy in a toilet cubicle disgusting really that is rotten who would like an agony aunt it's quite a fact here I haven't read it yet there's lots of I've got an agony aunt for the pod but Instagram won't let me send it to a straight deaver account apologies in advance for sending this driven into the inbox of a pop icon that's very kind slow down personally Jesus so that was incredibly kind right hi Sue and Lou hope you're both very well I'm probably not I work a job that requires me to move across different locations in London recently I got sent to a new location and was briefly and unfortunately working alongside the fittest person I've ever come across it.

24In short, I experienced the most ferocious and paralyzing sexual attraction ever. And before I could build any sort of connection or express any interest, I got sent somewhere else. I accept this is the nature of my job and have never been one for a workplace romance anyway. What is a harder pill to swallow is knowing that someone that fits, someone that fit exists and I have no reason to ever see them again. To make it worse, the workplace in question is a sexual health clinic. so it's not exactly somewhere I can casually swing by again as any girl would. Disagree. I did some light internet sleuthing.

56I got all the information I need, social media, age, etc. We have a few mutuals but I fear I've missed the acceptable window to follow them as I left a few weeks ago. Once I was finished reading their dad's tax business history on gov.com I realised there may be a problem. I'm left with a few options and would love your advice on how to proceed. Should I follow them despite never having exchanged pleasantries more than pleasantries and risk looking like the freak I potentially am. Let the fittest person I've ever seen fade into the abyss or have missed opportunities or get normal. Thank you and advice.

29Thanks in advance. Love you guys and the pod so much. Have been listening for months and I'm exhilarated to see you guys go from strength to strengthen your careers.
