In short

The hosts discuss partnering with a “gentrified” London kebab shop called Donny’s Donners, argue about class/ethnicity in food ownership, then pivot to a critical-but-curious conversation about Bonnie Blue’s documentary and rage-bait success. They also debate sex topics (giving head fundamentals), porn ID verification in the UK, and partying/aging, before doing an “Agony Aunt” Q&A about relationship anxiety and mismatched sex drives.

Guests

No guests appear as interviewees. The episode includes recurring host banter between Bill Simmons–style hosts and “Suze/Sophie/Louie” (the hosts themselves). It references external audiobook narrators (Tembi Dintonhurst, Nicola Dinan, Curtis Garner, Raven Smith, Rufy Thorpe) but they do not participate.

Key claims

Rage-bait can be “genius” at provoking; women-on-women criticism won’t fix systemic issues; porn ID checks are risky due to data leaks; good oral sex is about effort, enthusiasm, variety, pacing; anxiety in a loving relationship often comes from past trauma, not rejection.

Notable examples

Donny’s Donners kebab shop in London Fails; Bonnie Blue being labeled “female Andrew Tate” and making “a million a month”; Hinge audiobook “No Ordinary Love”; the agony letter from a finance-bro boyfriend couple.

0:28Saying how you feel out loud is terrifying. This episode is brought to you by ChatGPT. Hey, it's Bill Simmons from the Bill Simmons Podcast. Have you guys heard about ChatGPT work? And when you need more than just answers, give ChatGPT work access to your apps and files, and it can create real work documents like spreadsheets, slides, and structured reports. Get started at ChatGPT.com by selecting work mode available on Plus and Pro Plans. It is bad, Louie. Opened by a Donner obsessed DJ. Hi, I'm Surf Inc. Hi, I'm Louie Bluey. And we have the X Factor.

1:13Are we rolling? Hi, Suze. We are rolling. Hello, you. Hello, you. You old slut. Hello, Louie. How are you? Good, thank you. I'm so happy to announce that we are formally partnering with Donnie's Donners in London Fails. the new DJ owned kebab shop in London feels. Sue knows the owner. I know the owner, yeah. So it was a straight in for us. We thought it was a real no brainer considering the kind of space we occupy in the content space. No, we don't. It was really nice to have like an authentic done kebab shop. Yeah. Because they don't really exist in London really. Yeah, it's like we kind of saw a gap in the market.

1:54Yeah, a huge gap in the market. Where it's like people are looking for a kind of a late night food option that they aren't getting elsewhere and we we just love turkish food so much and there's obviously kind of unfortunately a lack of that in the in the city so we thought why not why not use our dj skills yeah and our social uh social media prowess to kind of give the people what they want like since moving to london i literally haven't had i've never been to a donna never had i don't know where you could get one yeah and only 17 pounds and like Yeah, and only£17. And the greatest thing ever is the fact that it's in London feels.

2:30Yeah, and it's run by DJs. And it's run by DJs. So you know there's going to be really interesting music playing and really cool people there. For sure, yeah. And yeah, I'm just so excited to be partnering with them. Love you, Donny's. Love you, Donny's, Donners, Donny's. Dreadful, dreadful. No, for any context, it's just a kebab shop opened up in London and it's been getting a little bit of flack because... A gentrified kebab shop, basically. It's a gentrified kebab shop. although one one issue i have with that yeah why do people so gentrified kebab shop i don't need it i don't i don't care for it but why do people need the let's remove class politics from a second okay why do we need um a thai restaurant to be run by thai people why do we need an english restaurant to be run by english people london is a multicultural city yeah yeah why can't why do we have to make what grandma made?

3:28You know? I get it that it's like - I'd trust a Thai person to make Thai more than anybody else though. And I get it in this situation, it's like, okay, we're just stealing. I would trust a really fat, bold geezer who's called Mick to make me a good pie. Or know how to fuck up an eel. For sure. Do you know what I mean? But then, you know, you're just putting Mick in a box, really. Mick might make a great pad Thai. He might though. And I get that in this situation, it's like, okay, it's a DJ, East London DJ with a bit of dosh, white guy, dominant culture. I mean, it is, Donny's is wrong. Donny's is wrong.

4:05Donny's is wrong. That was not, you could have made like a, you could have gone against like Dom's subs, like you could have made sandwiches, you could have done something like, you know. Dom's subs? Dom's subs, yeah. I never thought of it like that. Do you reckon they intended that? Absolutely. Great name. Okay, Dom. But you could have done that, whereas you did Donny's, and call it Donny as well. Oi, Donny! Oh, no. And then saying in the first three seconds of the video you did that it's run by me, a multi-instrumentalist DJ. Brother, come on. I know we're Pete, but that's Pete. I know we're Bate, but that's dreadful.

4:47I know we're part of the problem, but that is worse than us. I was being like, look at that. Look over there. Look, we're not as bad as that one. Do you know what? We actually might do this episode. This is actually a dare. I'm not told you about it. But let's just talk positively about everything. Ooh. We're like positive, negative. Because we keep getting comments, divas, about people just being so angry at us for talking negatively. And I actually don't think we talk incredibly negative. Like even like, for example, like the Lily Allen video. We spoke a bit about Lily Allen. we were like we literally love her and then everyone's like why do these two men fucking hate Lily Allen you're like I love Lily Allen she just made me I love that album like I don't know it just annoys but it really annoys me that people think that we're like negative Nancys and we're actually not well yeah and that's a call out to our fans who do actually like our stuff to comment and defend us in the comments because it's hard out here especially on the TikToks because you get served to people who just absolutely hate you so that's one thing It's like, especially on TikTok, I think you get served to people.

5:54Well, you just get served to a very wide, which we've spoken about. So you're inevitably going to get some people who don't like you, first off. Second of all, I think controversial or cynical stuff does better generally. Yeah. Because people kind of like it. They want to hate. Schattenfreude. Hello. Which is a word I've used four times this week. you've definitely said that to me I said that to you on Wednesday but and I also think we can be we can be cynical but I think we do it in a tasteful way we're not like, I don't think we've ever bullied someone, I think we always punch up which is a big thing for me I think of the twigs thing I think we made fun of a silly thing she said and but then we but we loved wait but we we said in the clip that we love her we love her comes from a place of respect and similarly with Lily Allen Malala Malala amazing things the world we love her so and more and more I'm learning with this stuff which is especially hard for me and I think you're slightly better at it but you really can't please everyone no I'm really struggling with it at the minute though yeah it's really getting me like well I just I'd hate to think about anybody having like a view of me that's like oh god yeah like she's a cunt like I'm not actually that's such a thing that a cunt would say though I'm not a cunt I'm not a cunt but like I'm fine if you want to think I'm a cunt then actually suck my cunt but then once you're in that situation you're good at doing that you're good at like okay fuck off then whereas I'm like I get in that situation I'm like, oh, I'm so sorry.

7:47I'm like a kind of a customer service manager. I'm like, please let me understand what's gone wrong. And I start brown nosing. Who might be in the wrong themselves? I just get like, I'm very much like, I'm not a cunt. I'll tell you, I'm not a cunt. If you still believe I'm a cunt, you could actually die in a while. Because clearly you just don't like me. Guys, and if you think we're cunts, just tell us. Yeah, if you think we're cunts, kill yourself. Deal with that. Okay, we're gonna try and be more positive. Yeah, positive. I kill yourself nicely positive challenge Okay, so speaking of someone who's the media thinks is a cunt Bonnie blue Let's get into it girls.

8:24Okay, blue documentary watch it last night with my girlfriend If you don't know who Bonnie blue is I'm not gonna give you a little primer cuz yeah Fuck you doing She's from Derby Okay, so we've we have got some alumnus. Yeah, she's probably my cousin I've only watched the trailer and I've read a couple of articles about it, you've actually watched so, it was fierce up till the end when she said that she was going on a thing with Andrew Tate and then they were calling Andrew Tate a genius which I was just kind of like okay, we're going to start there however and then saying that she was like the female Andrew Tate, I don't believe that to be true I do think that she is a genius and I do think that she, I'm not saying who's correct or not, however she's clearly rage baiting and people get raged.

9:16So it's like well she's got you exactly where you are. Okay. She makes a million a month. A million a month. She don't care. Her making a video being like I'll fuck your husband so he cheats on you. Why are you bothered? If you're that worried about your husband you shouldn't be with your husband mate. You know when Sue's got the gum fingers out you fucked up. No, no, but it's true. He's like, if you're worried about your husband fucking body blue, you've got enough. If the business is true, do you remember that clip? Canadian. If the business is true that you left your moms in the hood. Nah, you make me sick to my stomach.

9:55That is me though. But if the business is not true, shoddy's probably just talking shit. Sorry, I just had to do that. But I'm not saying I love bunny blue. I'm not mad at bunny blue. And I think it. Well, we know. Because you fucking rim her endlessly. It's like, Sue, get off her dick. Systemically, though, women picking issues. Uh-oh, systemically. Women picking issues. Systemic bomb. Women picking issues with women is not going to solve the issues that women face. Women need to pick issues with the actual issue, and the issue isn't Bonnie Blue. If anything, she's doing the thing that you've all been campaigning for, no shade.

10:31Sexual liberation, girl. One thing I will say, though, she took a thousand dicks, and in that video, in the documentary she does look in pain. She's like, there's something in her that like we were saying that either she's either got like an Einstein thing where she's got a bigger brain than all of us or, because they were talking to her mum and everything, they're like, she hasn't got anything like traumatic gone through it, but there is a little thing of her sometimes that you'll catch her and she's like gone behind the eyes. There's something there, I'm kind of obsessed with it, but like there's something there that like, I hope she never explores, if that makes sense.

11:05Like me and Laura were saying like, we hope she doesn't go to therapy ever. Like if she's happy with her choices, just don't go to therapy. Right. Because, for example, if I fought a thousand guys on camera, I think no matter how much I believed, I'm not saying it's bad, like how much I was like, that was the best thing in the world. Eventually, by the way that I go and the way I internally think about things in therapy talk, I'll eventually be like, was that correct to do? Do you know what I mean? Whereas I hope she never, she never thinks that. That's quite nasty though. You'd never want her to...

11:36No. But she's your hero. Exactly, yeah. Okay. I hope, like, Charlie doesn't go to therapy because I just want to keep on bumping that. Yeah, her therapy is the notepad. Yeah, exactly. Okay. From a consumer perspective, not from a mental health perspective. Yeah, I know I use Charlie as an example. Like, that's not correct, but like... Well, I mean, yeah, we can put two greats in the same bracket. Yeah, Charlie and Buddy Blue. Okay, so your first point was she's a genius because she's successful, right? No, no, moreover, she's a genius of like rage baiting and getting people annoyed. Yeah, but Sue, I don't want people to be successful.

12:16I think rage baiting is terrible now. No, but it is shit. But like when someone's the best at it, you can't be like, well, they're not a genius. Literally, she gets online. She's Leng. Let's be real. That woman is Leng. Body teeth, face teeth. She's not my type. She's Leng, mate. Like you've got like, I don't even fancy women. It's not because she shagged so many men. it's because I'm not a blonde hair blue eyes guy I just never have been Hitler after the war that wasn't me I never said that I've always said I've been hat flexible I've always been into guys it was just a bit yeah but okay but I I think that...

13:07That was joyful. But she's so lame, and she just goes and fucks bare man. The worst part is the men turn up. They're in their ballys. They're signing waivers. They're giving their ID. The issue is men. The thousand men that turned up and group shagged this woman. Though she wanted it. They're your issue. And you're mad because you might know that, men. Do you know what I mean? People going for selfies. It's fierce. But she wants it. So good for her. And I guess on paper, it's like sexual liberation is a good thing. Yeah, it is. It's the best thing. If that's what she wants to do with her body, then who the fuck are you lot telling her, she can't do that.

13:54And it's like people, it's setting women back. I'm like, no, it's not. By the sounds of it, it looks like she's not enjoying it. No, it just, there's a few shots where maybe they did it on purpose but there's just a few shots where she just looks like she's getting absolutely railed mate but like i mean just like me thinking and then they click to like lily phillips be like i'm gonna do 50 burn anally after one man to my pump yeah i'm aching let alone 50 man to my pump yeah to my bum bum yeah do you reckon it just falls out afterwards like getting your ass or slam by one man can you how many men can you get your ass or slam by if you have a hemorrhoid i don't know well this is the thing you're gonna have to find out we still haven't you you still haven't done any research neither have i well no but we need we need to get out in the i can find out in the scene yeah who's got a hammer who needs it the clue who's got a hammer i think you can still get shaggy just have to go around it i've got a friend who won't do doggy style because she has a hemorrhoid i love that doggy though i don't like doggy i like I don't like doggy.

14:59I'm too detached. What are you doing all the way over there? No, I like that. Come over here, love. I like that sometimes. I was talking to my friends about sex the other day, and they just got all weird. They were like, Louis, that's gross. I love talking about sex. Is it not the spice of life? Well, yeah. Is it not the reason we exist? Yeah, the freest joy. Is it not like the one thing that makes us forget who we are for a second? Yeah. More than anything else? so I'm sorry you're such a fucking prude but I want to talk about giving head I love giving head but not on the podcast, that's my line oh, not on the pod no, we can talk about that on the pod I love giving head, we give a different head though what do you think is harder of giving head to a woman or a man a woman, because I don't have that what do you mean you don't have that I am a trans woman Ignoring anyone's biology Sophie Sophie No She's digging that pot Sophie get to work Oh no it's going to stink mate Is she pissing or she She's shitting That's what she thinks of our conversation No no no Ignoring anyone's biases or experiences.

16:26That's going to stink. What, right now? Yeah. Okay. Well, hold that thought, everyone. That looks ill. She doesn't look right well with that.

16:52Look at her, she's fucking off.

17:00That is so warm. You're very good with that, though, Sue. Well done. Thank you. Saying how you feel out loud is terrifying. But that's what Hinge's new free audiobook, No Ordinary Love, is all about. It's a collection of real love stories about five couples that met on Hinge. The stories are written and read by Tembi Dintonhurst, Nicola Dinan, Curtis Garner, Raven Smith, and Rufy Thorpe. I, Hunter Harris, wrote and read the foreword. The audio book's out now. Give it a listen.

18:01by selecting work mode available on plus and pro plans.

18:46Okay. Yeah. So ignoring your preference, your sexual preferences Yeah. or anything, what just like, this versus this, 50 versus 50. No experience, no bias. What's giving, what's harder giving head to a penis or a vagina? Why? Well, where do you go? They say to the clit side, just like this on the clit. But then is that right? Do you just lick the whole thing? A penis, there's a shaft. I think there's like a few fundamentals to giving head and they apply to both. Okay, come on, tell us. They apply to both clits and vagines and peens, right? So first off, effort, enthusiasm. Love. Right? You've got to like act like you want to be there.

19:27At least pretend. Nothing worse than someone giving a head And it's like, you're not enjoying this. Let's stop. Okay? It is the worst getting bad head though. You just got to lie there. No, that's for sure. That is... My favourite thing is when you fuck straight men and they like actually suck it. Like as if they're like sucking a straw. You're like, all the blood is going to my bellend. I'm like, girl, you don't have to physically suck it. Like a straw. Nesquik. Actually like... Like girl, get off. um okay that's throwing me off okay effort yeah variety yeah switch up you can't just let a couple left turns here and there you cannot just be going like one pace one place the whole time yeah because you'll you'll like lull into a sense of like oh boredom or like predictability yeah right the other stuff is I mean skill somewhat, but I wouldn't say that's the most important thing.

20:31Yeah Anything else I Hate be a bit freaky would it? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah messiness nobody. I think that's good Messiness a bit loose. Nobody wants sex to be a clean act concise perfect paint

20:54oh and kind of into variety as well as pacing yeah pacing is huge take your time don't rush into anything okay um anyway those are my fundamentals for giving good head for a peen or a vagine but i think giving head to a penis would be harder no easy peasy lemon squeeze me and my friend were talking about it and she was like, the vagina has, it's too small of an area to work. I'm like, that's great. Actually, I'm so, I'm gold star gay. I've never done anything with the vagina. Well, I've never done anything with a peen. Maybe we need to do a challenge. Speaking of, get Bonnie Blue in here. Yeah.

21:33Really fucking kickstart our Patreon. Because God knows we need it. Q &A up out now though, guys. Peep that.

21:45No, there's less area to worry about No So the dick is big You should go up and down, girl Up and down Really? Also, someone did make the good point That most of the The pleasure centre and the peen Just at the tip Hmm Work the shaft a little bit now, but Me just thinking Me when I think But huge surface area You got balls You got shaft You got tip Okay, nice Are you bored with this conversation? How are you bored about talking about head? I'm not bored. Honestly, all you people are the same. Now that you want to talk about head with me, is it something about me? Did I do something? Is it because I'm hairy?

22:24Is it because I'm ugly? No. Am I a sex pest? What's going on? No, I agree. I'm a ball thing tip. You just got to go for it. I think it's just about owning it. It's just about enthusiasm, really. Choke on it a bit. And then if you can't choke on it, just perform that you can. I don't think you need to choke. choking's overrated it's all about effort and pacing get us every time don't rush don't rush slow touch um okay speaking moving on nicely from uh pleasuring and fellatio uh porn yeah are you familiar with porn I'm not anymore because I don't want to upload my ID. So it's not been banned, right?

23:15But you do need to now provide ID verification if you want to toss one out. So this is my thing. So it's also happened on Twitter, so you can't... We get a VPN, apparently, and everyone... I put it on TikTok, and everyone has been messaging me sites that you don't need it for. So, um, UJs and Boyfriend TV. Sue's plugged in. I'm plugged in, babe. However, one thing I will say is... What I will say, really? What I will say is... Hi, I'm Sue, I think, and I think porn should be unbanned because free people free the world I believe in autonomy of yourself no but I think that to send your ID in I think it's crazy because when that leaks because there are external companies that do it and I'm not I'm not like a flat earther but like these things will get hacked and then it will have all your porn history and a photocod of your ID.

24:11Now, when I watch porn, I'm not watching mad stuff. However, I don't want one day for it to leak and then you'd be like, what did so I think watch on the 21st of July, 2025? Yeah. And I'm watching some, like, thing that you just wouldn't expect from me. Yeah. But the reason I like it is because you can watch anything. Anything. Guys, what do you think she's watching? Also, you're not a flat earther, but you do have some weird conspiracy theories up your sleeve soon. Do I? Yeah. What like? Like, Wales isn't real. It's not real. I'm half Welsh. Calibre isn't real. You didn't think we went to the moon ever?

24:46I mean, we probably didn't. Whoa! We probably didn't. And we're not going to Mars. And the reason why Elon Musk wants to go to Mars is because there's no human rights there. And he'd be like, everyone come to Mars. And then you go, and then you'll just have your rights shipped. And he can have as many girlfriends as he wants. Yeah, and actual human labour. And none of them can talk. Exactly. Okay. so I agree with you on the porn thing am I like I'm really having an identity crisis but I probably it's probably a net positive for the world no what porn well no porn for kids boo hoo do you know what I mean I did it at 12 and look at me yeah but you're you know such a strong mind you're lit you're lit and you're a freak as well and I'm on a freak bridge hand-cut leashes and you're not you're not HS Tiki Toki yeah exactly you're not you're not choking yell in the bedroom too strong because you weren't educated on don't call Bill a yell and he likes it thank you joking guys that was a joke I'm not talking about but I'm at an interesting crossroads now because already crossy crossy she's wearing dresses

26:04I have kind of stopped watching porn Emphasis on the kind of Well now I really have Because I'm just not going to do this I know, same

26:14And now I just think Well yeah, this is enough of a deterrent Yeah, I suppose That I'm not going to do it But you don't think porn is bad in general No I don't think it's bad I think we should have porn I think people should be allowed to do porn I think it just needs to be more I think you should pay for it It needs to be more regulated And this is probably a step in the right direction That being said Kiss Tama I'm not going to give you my fucking passport You freak Focus on the fucking war in the Middle East And call it as it is You toothless git And have some fucking riz about you You fucking Lardass Anyway Yeah I think it's a step in the right direction sadly Well we've lost Fallen Soldiers We've lost Fallen Soldiers Who have we lost?

27:11All the Porn Divas They'll be fine Will we be fine? We'll be fine Fine But what else are you going to wank to instead now? My memory And my partner What's in your memory? And my partner know my part my memory is my partner's memories there's I'm not gonna talk about my memories so I've got a list of things that our listeners can masturbate to if you're facing the porn ban in the UK right now that's the kind of you Louie silverback Tarzan from tick tock you seen that guy he's like this Essex guy bit of a spiritualist yeah come up Lang very me like Yeah, geezer. Nice. Very soft, very in touch with his feminine side.

I remember when I was in a relationship, I was actually less like, I can quite easily use my imagination now. But when I was in a relationship, I felt guilty for masturbating and thinking of someone else because that was too uncomfortable of a thought. I was like, who the fuck am I going to think of? Am I going to think of fucking Angelina Jolie? No, I'm going to think of that girl that I met at a party last week who I couldn't get with. Why couldn't you get with her?

30:10Because I'm in a... Because you've got no ears. Call me Kit Starmer.

30:17um okay elsewhere this week um oh shit i was in berlin guys i went to berlin wait so you asked me about my trip in berlin what did you do in berlin so bill recommended a uh spa for me called vander play or something uh and i didn't go uh because i was just partying the whole weekend um and yeah really just traipsing around noy khan um having drinks with very like cool like-minded creative people um they were all english um there was one irish person um got rejected from two clubs on the first night first one was burghain i was giggling at the front of the queue and then they were like fuck off then then went to another club called eden uh got rejected because it was a lesbian night and there was three of us were boys fair enough really when you think about it um and then friday night called it low-key sure then saturday wake up at four go get noodles yeah okay um then we head to acid reflux wake up at four no no leave the house at four i was gonna say that's right but also the weather was shit so not missing out on anything acid reflux DIY party shit sound met a guy called Vlad gorgeous Russian person who was very aware of their their country's atrocities really sweet musician shout out Vlad then we head to RSO okay for he she they Gok Wan's headlining nice no Gok Wan's not headlining but it was really fun and I guess the headline of the weekend Sue is that I think I might have a problem um with a lot it's just like hedonism versus abstinence or or you know i hit it too hard yeah but i love getting to that hysterical hysterical point yeah of when you you know you're 18 hours into the club yeah and your head starts going to some places that you know your your interior voice your critical voice is just completely gone mind you i'm not on any drugs anymore they ran out yeah ages ago long time but i'm just running on fucking i don't know what i'm running on but i feel incredible and and we uh yeah it's just a truly brilliant and then we went to watch the women's euros nice with my friend zoe who lives in berlin shout out zoe what the chloe kelly what the chloe kelly oh shout out to our lionesses i love the lioness Shout out to our lovely, beautiful, talented, courageous, inspirational lionesses.

33:07Yeah, love. And then I stayed out till 4am that night as well on No Sleep. And I've been paying the price for it all week. And I think you told me to not deep it while I'm still feeling fragile. But where do you stand on the kind of... You're quite focused these days. I know, it's crazy. All right, Soph. and I feel like I want it I want my cake I want to have my cake and eat it I can't club anymore I actively don't want to so I actually don't have any advice on that because I say I'm focused it's a lie I just want you to oh my oh my but like I look focused I'm probably not focused maybe I am focused maybe I've been hard on myself you are focused I have no advice on partying and going too hard because I stopped drinking for a bit.

34:01I'm back on the drink. I just want to go real hard. I just want to go real hard. Pink Diamond into the dark. I just want to go real hard. But like after the gig, me and Bill got absolutely hammered. Went home. I was... Also, can I just quickly shout out Harry who is Bill's friend who sent... Who is a fan of the pod. And set you on. No, no, no, no. Different Harry. And sent Bill a voice message. I've never met this Harry. Saying, Bill. You're Bill. Meaning the Bill that we talk about on the pod it was like oh my god you're Bill and then he was like what a wonderful day to be British I think that's really funny shout out Harry he's famous through the podcast he's reaching new audiences honestly you're welcome Bill but god I love that man Sue has one night on the beers yeah and I'm literally I can't do it anymore whereas I have a weekend without sleep yeah that's what I mean we're different we're not the same we are not the same but It's so fun, Sue.

35:01I was like, well, have fun. Don't do it. But it... Have fun until you're not having fun anymore. I also want to be a successful person and do great things. But you're still doing that. Make a great podcast and promote my music and make some fun. I haven't made any TikToks to promote my music in ages, Sue. I know, me neither. And it's like, unfortunately, you do need to pick one of like, you know... Well, they all hit a point, yeah. But if you're not at that point, then pick it. What was your... What was your point? I remember this one house party we filmed a music video I was like 21 just before I met the gallery you had your point at 21 I did yeah I did so much cocaine at this party that I couldn't sleep and so I was like it makes me explain so it's live I went to bed in my flat in Oakland Road and I woke up at six in the morning and my brain was on my heart was on coke but my brain was on weed and so it was like having this like insane it was i genuinely was like i'm i'm dying like this is i'm dying i walked to the kitchen like sat on the floor i did eat some crisps tyrol's shower oh the red uh the chili ones and i was like i'm dying like how's i like i i i've done this to myself yeah and i've done this to myself i'm not well obviously i did wake up and i'm not dead but i think that was a point i've had loads of points like that where you just kind of like what am i doing like i'm such like a sicky drunk as well like it takes days out of my weeks like i can't i can't do it there does hit a point there will hit a point where i stop drinking altogether really absolutely yeah i don't want to do this anymore like didn't i hear you say the other day which is something i've since been thinking about and agreeing with that it gets harder to not drink as we get older.

36:49I think, yeah, I think it's like, that's also a point being like, I find it harder to stop now. Yeah. Which scares me. Yeah. Because I think it's so, I think London specifically, I think you're so knackered all the time. So it's like even going out socially, it helps to be a bit lit. Yeah. And it's just that. But then when does a bit lit stop and then you're like, you're like five doubles deep and you're like, I'm dying. You smoked half a pack of cigarettes and you're not well. like needless say am I going out for drinks tonight yeah and have I heard apparently the menu is martini and beer yeah oh I could do a martini right now I'm gonna be doing one tonight should we have a martini at 1 30 on a Friday no I'm joking I'm joking I'm joking yeah maybe like well yeah um yeah it's also like I think as you get older you slowly learn that you can get away with whatever you want because as a kid you're taught you can't do too much of a bad thing yeah yeah and even when you're you know 18 19 living at home if you drink too much you face and even getting money you face the consequences it's like now i have money where it's like i can on my own buy a bag of drugs if i want to yeah it's like i'm told myself but like that and that's the hardest bit to say no to because it's like i i shouldn't do that i have no one to answer to but my friends It was different when you were all 18, you all had a tenner each, and then you could buy a bag of cat.

38:14And then you were quartering a bag of cat or whatever. Different, no, because it's like, if I want a bag of cat, I can get a bag of cat. But then that's where the issues are. That's what I've kind of realised, where it's kind of like, with cigarettes now, I'll buy a pack of cigarettes, and I'm like, what am I doing? With drugs, I'm like, I'm not even letting my... I've never picked up a loan, because I'm so scared that the minute I stop picking up a loan, I just won't stop picking up. If that makes sense. I could get addicted to drugs like that. I've got addicted to cigarettes like that. like I'm so addicted to that's a lie I think you can quit drugs is crazy also like drugs just hit me like a bag of bricks like they just don't get me up like the way they used to but I do turn into a fiend every time I do drugs so does the spicy margarita babe we hit those on Wednesday I literally felt like I wasn't alive I was like so I'm ill so you're a huge lightweight I'm a huge lightweight but I look gatted as well I was like am I going in at karaoke with Mac and Selfridges so guys I know you've all been asking, wondering what we've been up to.

39:11We were doing the Mac karaoke night Selfridges on Wednesday. That was us. Yeah, it was us. Shout out to Fancy Shoes for organising it and having us. Maybe the most fun gig I've ever done. Like, so lovely. And it was just like, there was a group and it wasn't meant to be, not that there wasn't meant to be families there, but we weren't told that there were going to be a family there and there was a family. and like it was quite it was quite fun to be like entertaining to like in a family in a pg way yeah i did i did swear a couple times but we just ran it yeah yeah we were basically hosting a karaoke night uh we opened with fight for this love um we then we then helped justine whose friend didn't turn up so we helped her sing hot to go um and then we didn't really have to do much apart from egg each egg everyone on just go introducing yeah maybe a couple gags here and there some ad libs yeah said what yeah like what um and that was that was it and everyone i i kind of thought we were gonna have to do more galvanizing people encouraging people but i guess everyone's there for a good time everyone's there to do karaoke exactly um so maybe a sign of things to come for us yeah that we are karaoke divas divas also got played on bbc6 i saw that crazy by the one that looks like a kind of a hetero flexible guy that would ruin your life yeah but we love him we love him we love him thank you for playing me i'm sure he's in on the yeah he's fit he is fit um but yeah i can't believe it bbc six bbc 60 um that's fucking amazing right bbc six said they were gonna play my song and they were like this is brilliant thank you and then i got redirected someone she was like this is brilliant thank you can you make a radio edit i was like yeah here's the radio edit it and they never fucking played it get back to them I've got back to them four times oh okay they got you there that's life that's what people say um do some agony odds yes I just want to apologise as well for if I've been on your feed oh my god yeah actually no speak on this girl sorry for hurrying this away from you no no no no it's okay I want to apologise if I've been on your feed Promoting wellness packs I still haven't had the Courage to watch the advert myself Have you got served it?

41:44Yeah babe I got served it for the first time last night And just was immediately like nope But yeah You are the right person to do it They should run you more money though Well yeah obviously The usage on that is Easy I'm getting whored out Sophie's up to something But yeah I got I got to earn these peas And I think they work I still haven't tried them they still haven't sent me anything So more on that story later But I just wanted to apologise Happy Tuesday Happy Tuesday

42:29and some agony aunts yeah are you ready there's two but they're quite thickens so we'll and then we'll do a call out next time 27 Catholic guilt and anxiety riddled straightish Irish girl are you ready sorry Catholic guilt and anxiety riddled straightish Irish girl cool hi divas I've been with my boyfriend since January and even though he's quite literally the opposite to anyone I've imagined myself ending up with English to start with works in finance owns a g-lay gag. This is the happiest, most loving relationship I've been in. He's ridiculously kind and funny and doesn't care about other people's opinions or conforming to boring standards, which is so good for me, especially because I can get so caught up with what other people think.

43:10He's so secure in himself and has been super secure in the relationship from the start, which really helped me to relax him too and not run every time I get fighty at the beginning. Run every time I get... which really helped me relax into it and not run every time i started to get fight flighty at the beginning oh this is the big one right sorry again and i was like is that it i was like good for you girl you're in love like see more yeah my problem is that i feel like i'm going to ruin it because i cannot stop freaking out about it and having existential crisis every two minutes anytime i feel like anything is slightly off this is the first relationship i've been in that is not a low-key evil cheat rapist deep problematic avoidant man with daddy issues as bad as mine and all those relationships are really intensely sex-based so that's what oh my god this is so relatable i want to kill myself um that wow all these relationships well and all yeah god this is crazy girl and we're really intensely sex-based so that's how i know what i'm kind of used to intensely sex-based yeah oh previous relationships yeah this english boy knows exactly what he's doing in bed and we have really good sex but wait come on my brits stressing me out right now is i I have a much higher sex drive than him, and he loves me too, which I fucking hate.

44:25I think this says dominate. It's making me feel really stressed and kind of unwanted. And we've talked about it a few times. Sorry, sorry, say that bit. Very last bit again. What's making us good? I'm going to have to look at the actual message because there's a thing in the way. Fuck. We interrupt this message to bring you a sponsorship by...

44:48Pavilion Coffee London Fields. Right Do you want me to read it again? Yeah let's do it again Hi Divas, I've been with my boyfriend since January And even though he's quite literally the opposite to anyone I could imagine myself ending up with I.e. him being English Works in finance and owns a GLA gaggy This is the happiest most loving relationship I've been in He's ridiculously kind and loving And doesn't care about other people's opinions On conforming to boring standards Which is so good for me to be around Especially because I get caught up with what other people think etc he's so secure in himself and has been super secure in the relationship from the start which uh really helped me relax into it and not run every time i started to get flighty at the beginning my problem is that i feel like i can't i'm going to ruin it because i can't stop thinking out about it and having existential crisis every two minutes anytime i feel like something is slightly off this is the first relationship i've not um been in this is the first relationship i've been in that's not with a low-key evil cheat rapist deeply problematic avoidant man with daddy issues as bad as mine and all those relationships were really intensely sex-based so that's what i'm kind of used to this english boy knows exactly what he's doing in bed and we have really good sex but one of the biggest things stressing me out right now is that i have a much higher sex drive than him and he loves for me to initiate which i fucking hate doing it's making me feel really stressed and kind of unwanted and we've talked about it a few times but nothing is really changing i keep getting myself into a spiral of feeling like i need much from the relationship feeling ugly and unattractive eating disorder girly since like eight i get you babe send another the love deciding that he hates me and maybe he's actually getting just putting it uh with me because of internalized hemophobia towards myself and then back to the just appeal panic and confusion this will happen literally anytime we don't have sex or i feel the slightest bit rejected am i being a bit of a horn dog whore and just basing this off my previous bad relationships or is it a legit thing that is about to stress uh or is it a legit thing to stress about and what the heck am i supposed to do okay sorry for the long message i literally love you guys so much being here from the start and obsessed with all the music in the last few months go on mom and dad you've been smashing it.

46:47Firstly, fucking love you. That, babe, I love you. Speak. Me too. That was a, that was lovely. A beautiful message. Beautiful writing. Uh, where do you want to start? Babe, I get your, the bit about getting with somebody who like, I've only ever been with, my last boyfriend was a cat addict. The one before that was a coke addict. The most, the first one, the coke addict was, Bill's going to be a crack addict. Yeah. vile bills on heroin um but them being the most vile vile men and just the most disrespectful men is like that's what i'm used to obviously parental issues i get you with the daddy and issues there babe um i'm now with somebody who is the most stable secure person who believes what he says does what he says and is quite literally the most wonderful human being i've ever met in my life um and being with that is hard because not hard but it's hard for you to exist in it because you know i'm even in with my partner at the minute and there are times where i'll get down on myself and i'll be like what the fuck's going on like i'm so used to people letting me down that like i'm like waiting to be let down and i'm not being let down and then and then which why i'm in therapy at the minute is i'll make things up in my head because i'm like waiting for it to get bad um and i'll feel jealous over people and i've not really said this not even said a spill but i feel jealous over people and i feel like bad over people and i like i'll like destroy myself inside because you but what actually happening is you actually don't feel worthy enough for it and you don't feel worthy enough for their love and like sex drive thing you're not a horn dog people have different sex drives like 100 people have different sex drives it's something that you can make work if you want to communicate it out you might need to look to other options but it's something that could be communicated but one thing i will say with that what i will say is is what i will say is um you don't you should never feel annoyed for initiating something and also somebody saying i'm not in the mood today is not something that's insulting either like that's just a communication like i understand what you're saying but then maybe you need to look at how you deal with rejection because you're not being rejected in that moment but i also understand when you have parental issues that it feels like rejection like someone's rejecting you saying you're not worthy enough or it's not that someone just actually might not be in the mood and like that is what it is um but babe i feel you it's i've been officially with bill since january um we've been dating for a while longer before that but like i've been officially with him since january and this is very similar are we being with somebody who's very kind that certain situation i'm very much with you with um and it's hard and it's tough but girl you've got it you you have to seek help and help and hold yourself because those moments where you feel annoyed at them or like you feel like annoyed at the relationship it's actually you're annoyed at yourself and you need to like hold yourself through that and when you want when you like crave love from somebody i have the thing where like when i'm feeling low on myself i'll be like desperately looking towards other people friends family for love partner particularly like but you have to hold yourself through that and like just and trust that it's going to be okay you actually do just need to trust him and then trust that he'll be a decent person because you You deserve that and you're worthy of that.

50:02Wow. Okay. That was a tough act to follow, Sue. Yeah.

50:09Firstly, finance bros are in. Let's go. Sell in.

50:15That's what a good salary will do to a guy. Period. Just secure, man. None of this fucking hackney, mustache, bullshit, can't drive. Sophie, don't step on that keyboard. thank you very sweet um yeah happy you found a finance bro who's um you know got big dick energy that's that's great first of all um i think sue you covered pretty much everything i wanted to say um i'd only reiterate that just yeah give yourself a little bit of time to adjust what sounds like a a new situation for you which is a uh a genuinely loving relationship um uh in regards to the the sex stuff um yeah don't try not to take it personally i've been there before where it's like mismatched sex drives in a relationship and it's hard not to take it personally but there are ways around it um but also don't blame yeah you're not a horndog you're not a fucking uh perv and it's not because of you know just because your previous relationships have been based on sex doesn't mean that you're like a a fucking freak uh for the pum pum uh so that's one thing and then the only other thing I'd say is that like I think maybe I'm sensing that you're not holding yourself in high enough regard because previous relationships have been so bad so like when you said I almost got the impression that you were like I need to make this work because this guy's so great and that's a really good sentiment to have in some ways because you know you want to make a loving relationship works but i feel like you might be using the low standard of your previous relationships to justify you compromising for what like this may be a situation where you know you you'll try and work out some things um with sex or with whatever or you might have some issues down the line don't like don't think just because you've had bad relationships in the past this you have to hold on to this relationship at all costs just because this is way better doesn't mean it's perfect doesn't mean it's right for you um there are ways around the sex drive and initiating sex and and all that stuff but it might be an issue down the line and don't don't you know compromise yourself too much and make yourself too unhappy just to be in a relationship because you think it's the the best thing you've had so far that's a really nice point babe thanks babe and just finally as someone who's the only good things in my other previous relationships with sex so much of your worth is defined to it sometimes and you just have to let that go babe do you know what i mean like you just have to let that go if you want to but get that finance dick get a finance dick get a shmoney girl go on a holiday yeah yeah go on holiday that'll sort of there.

53:28And I think, yeah, I think you covered it as well. Holding yourself accountable in the sex thing without beating yourself up. Like just your preferences. Does that make any sense? Yeah, absolutely. Final one. Final one. Oh yeah. Oh, I've only got two. Okay, great. Agony from full time listener, long time, first time caller. Oh, we've done this one. Oh no, wait, wait, wait, I've got it. I've got another one oh no wait maybe I fucked it oh I've really fucked it guys I only have the one I mean we've done the other one before that is a we're at 53 minutes so we can call it there and that was a really nice one that was a really nice one alright well we love ya we love you lots um throw us a message throw us a signal tell us you're there please should she say that about the kisses is that weird she doesn't care she presses send And this is the love story of real hinge couple, Daniel and Roisin, written and read by me, Rufy Thorpe.
