In short

The hosts discuss Madonna’s new album (and generational reactions to it), Pride’s corporatization and what trans Pride should mean, plus late-stage capitalism/PR rollouts, World Cup/England fandom, and listener advice segments (dating, self-worth, acne-scar treatments like CO2 laser).

Guest backgrounds

No named guests appear as interviewees in the transcript. “Straight Diva” is hosted by the two main speakers (one trans, one straight). A “Pride correspondent” named Kemi briefly appears; other mentions include Elliot (pod friend) and Bill/Sue/Lou as recurring people.

Key claims

Madonna’s album is “middle-of-the-road” dance music—safe/inoffensive but repetitive with weak hooks; fans defend it fiercely. Pride feels more corporate now, but Pride 2026 should return to protest values. Music journalism/PR rollouts feel fake and predictable.

Notable examples

Madonna night where Madonna told the crowd to stop using phones; Grindr Pride event; England singing Wonderwall after games; CO2 laser resurfacing for acne scars; listener dating advice to “stop shagging exes” and use affirmations/distraction.

1:00Where is your voice? There, baby. Okay, sweet. How are you? Good, thank you. Am I definitely in shot? Do you want me to check? Yeah.

1:15I was just telling Sue that I'm feeling quite fragile. It's Monday, the 6th of July. So can you look how much I'm caking? Ooh! Kind of crazy. That's what pride does to someone. I know. put on weight honey um i was just saying that i uh yeah i had a big weekend okay sue me yeah and should i have done that with the week i have ahead no no because there's a week of firsts this week yeah there's um i've started a chat show yeah um that where i play a sort of a character that interviews musicians or people of the moment. Yeah. That drops Monday the 6th of July. Please check it out. It's called I Love My Wife.

2:06Yeah. And then I'm also supposedly making my acting debut this week in a short film.

2:17But anyway, yeah, I had a fun weekend. I went to a forest rave in Tottenham, a millennial forest rave. Yeah. millennial being like millennial being like um i don't know i just just millennials boomers yeah just boomers very sweet very very nice people was in was actually wasn't in tottenham i had to go to cockfusters on the piccadilly line and then walk for an hour in the middle of nowhere and i was just like what am i doing what am i doing i don't know if you have this especially when you're around millennials too long i feel a bit angry after a while because i'm like what am I doing? Like if I'm around really like millennial millennial okay so not segwaying onto Madonna yet but the reaction from certain millennials about Madonna has reminded me that I must hang around with Gen Z more.

3:03Do you know what I mean? It does feel like a generational split on Madonna. And it's like and it's not that as a Gen Z I don't understand Madonna I totally understand Madonna and we'll get onto the album in a bit because I love it but um seeing millennials be millennials to madonna like for you i guess yeah it's like for you and i'm not coming for millennials either i literally go out with a millennial but like i think millennials refuse to my issue i hope that i'm a gen z that like yeah we'll know about gen alpha and then whatever the fuck's after that yeah do you know i mean it stays in the know i think there are like i'm starting to see millennials be like i don't need to do that or like i find it really uncomfortable when like a millennial artist won't do tiktok right i find that but they need tiktok yeah yeah do you know what i mean or they don't just you just don't do it at all they don't yeah but but i think it could help it never it never i just would have i would hate because alternatively i'll talk to joe about it bill sister who i love very much fan of the pod hello jo she'll be watching this we love you and she was saying that she was like it's completely different now because she's got kids and she was saying it's very interesting that kids parents now will know the same thing if they choose to know what their parents are into so like i don't know like people who are like if you want to be into like bladey or like sd kid or like timothy chalamet on sd kid song she's like i know that just as much as my kid knows that whereas before when we were younger our kid our mums did who the fuck is sd kid and now my dad will probably know who sd kid is do you know what i mean so i think it's just like weird divide but then i think that's you make a public choice to want to know what's happening right now right what i really don't like about millennials is when they choose not to because why would you want to like choose not to know the world it's like when an old person doesn't know how to use a phone oh yeah i completely agree with that i get that with my dad a lot he's just like completely disinterested in any sort of modern culture.

5:03I fear that I will become like that, but I also think I hope I never will. I don't think we will. It is kind of natural with age. Yeah. History would tell us. But there are old people who aren't complete sourpusses. Yeah, no, they're some fab fierce old people. Sorry, but I didn't poo-poo your intimacy coordinator. No, no, no, no. I wonder if I've said too much But I don't think so Fuck it It's good promo for the film When it does come out If I haven't completely fucked up the role But no millennials don't fuck about Yeah But speaking of Like we don't fuck about you know Stimming We don't fuck about you know TikTok or Charlie XCX They don't fuck about Madonna Yeah which is true Everyone has their pain points and it does feel like at the moment the I don't know if I'm being a sourpuss it feels like in a way that yeah I would equate to if Charlie released something there is just like Madonna has such warrior fans yes it's almost like Gaga it's regardless of what does come out it's like there are some people that will just fight to the death of it but I disagree because when she did like the album before this and she did that song with Mickey Blanco called like Black Madonna the EDM album no that's that Black Madonna is now called the Blessed Madonna no what was it called that she did with Mickey Blanco who I love but like they basically had a song it is definitely yeah it's not i'm being unfair it like it is there are good elements about this album so i do feel like everyone is just so in love with madonna yeah the campaign's been so great yeah that everyone is just in a sort of a good mood to celebrate madonna which is there's nothing wrong with yeah i think the reason why people are losing it over this album is confessions one was like so big for some people the millennial gaze and now they're living it because it's the same producer on confessions too now the gag is i do love this album really because do you know what it is it is it's interesting i did see a think piece saying that like this album is amazing but it isn't it shouldn't be called confessions too it's actually more similar to like ray of light era and stuff which i agree with yeah where it's kind of like i think it's just like really inoffensive dance music yeah that kind of doesn't say anything it's kind of like be free i know obviously songs like be free it's kind of like love yourself and it's kind of like i think it's a great album i don't think it's as good as confessions one because i think confessions one is a work of genius but i think why is it confessions part two is there a sort of any same dj okay and stewart price or something yeah yeah who's amazing yeah um i love the strome feature I thought that was like a touch I just thought like yeah Martin Garrix yeah Martin Garrix and then who's the other person on it who's the other feature oh and her daughter's on it which is great so it was fine yeah I like it and I listened to it and I was like yeah good for you then all the girls went to that Madonna night yeah yeah it was crazy oh my god so I got shout out Elliot friend of the pod to like report live from the Grindr event and they were basically just saying that it was Madonna just shouting at the crowd to not use their phones for an hour and everyone was on their phone well because that also not to take another hit at millennials but that's millennials when they're like at gigs yeah do you know what I mean the millennial hopped out again am I being hateful I don't know no it's fine it's millennials 16 shots I look.

9:12Honey, did you invite the minions over? Well, you know how we talked about getting Wi-Fi from Xfinity? Yeah. I ordered it this morning. It was online in minutes. Then they showed up. So they just came over to use the Wi-Fi? For what?

10:09I really wanted to like the album, but it's not for me. That's okay. I thought production was kind of boring. I thought, like, yeah, as you say, middle of the road, sort of dance music production. Vocal delivery, kind of cool. Yeah. Sort of wispy voice thing. I didn't mind that. But maybe did get slightly repetitive, and I was kind of like, it's your Madonna, like where are the top lines? Where are the hooks? And then, yeah, it's mainly production and lyrics for me. I was like, this is like, we're doing like a whole dance floor thing. This is basically like, we lost dancing for gay people. Yes, it very is that, I think it is.

10:56And I'm not saying you can't do the like, album about the importance of dance music because I'm here for that. But I just feel like the way she delivered it was quite predictable. Yeah. But, you know, it is amazing that she's 67 and...

11:22We did it. We did the arm thing with the 60. It is amazing that she's doing it. And, yeah, I don't know if I'm sort of giving unfair pity almost. But I like I don't think it's wrong that people are sort of just celebrating that like Madonna's yeah Releasing an album and she's outperforming and she's doing shit with Jim skin and that's that's great in itself I thought the rollout was I mean everyone's rollout since Charlie CX did brat He's been fucked so like no one knows how to release an album because I think she Kicked the cunt out of it and I still stand by what we're thinking Jim skin like yes Like that's just like what and I know everyone like lost their minds, but I'm just kind of like are we actually like does that make sense?

12:01I feel like everyone's just like, no, no. Like, it's the same as, I find it really funny, and don't get me wrong, we're definitely involved in this, but I find it so funny when an artist starts following out their album and they do the exact same thing. They talk to Judy Jupiter, randomly Judy Jupiter finds them in the street. Then they go on straight, let's be real. And then they go on like a couple more podcasts and they do the tech, like PR and album rollouts are so fucking obvious. And don't get me wrong, I'm about to go on one. Do you know what I mean? Like what we can get, you go on Subway takes.

12:30If anything, I'm probably on one right now. Notion, dazed. Yeah, notion, dazed. You go on your PR rollout. But the PR rollout, maybe I see it more because I'm an artist myself. You're an artist yourself. We're more awake to it. But it's like, God, if you catch me in a second, Judy Jupiter randomly runs into me in New York and I'm like, and she makes me sing on the street. Don't say anything. Don't say anything. And does any of it result in actually making people a fan or introducing them to your music. Maybe, maybe if you see it enough times, you're like, okay, they're about. But it's just like nothing is real.

13:09And it's like the same as like, the one that I really didn't get is the What Are You Listening To? Or the one that's like What Are You Listening To? And then they said their own song and then he acts surprised that they're themselves. And I'm like, that doesn't even make sense. How are people even clicking on it? Because that as a concept is dumb. but then I'm like maybe we need to hit this like the end of it where it's kind of like oh actually we've hit a point where it needs to get better like for example just to stand up for ourselves girls we only say yes to artists and people who do roll outs that want our friends or friends of friends or who we actually think are good we've said no to people before just to let you know hell yeah but that being said we've definitely been involved in it yeah for sure so moving on to late stage capitalism I think when everything online is being sold to you, where do we go from here?

14:05Yeah. But it's not just that. We've had that for ages, and yet the quality of music journalism has just dropped significantly. But there are, like, I'm not talking about Shard again. I love you, Shard. But I think there are certain, like, and us. Shard fucking loved the Madonna album. But like, I just think there are like little... Wait, did you just call us music journalists? No, no, no, but we've done like music journalism, let's be real, we've had musicians on. And I think, you know... You studied at a BIM. I studied at a BIM. Hello. That's how you got this podcast. Yeah, that's how we got the podcast.

14:44What I actually paid for that tripod was the BIM creator fund. Kidding. But I think it is very interesting that there are like nuggets coming up of people who like are objectively really talented or doing things that are true that you actually kind of even if you wanted to buy it you can't buy it out anymore do you know what i mean right because everyone goes through the same thing you see like something like interior design interior motives it's like that's popped off everyone's kind of going on that do you know how many people are like sue can you please go on it i'll probably go on it if they'll have me we'll go on it but like i don't it's just funny isn't it i just think it's silly like why is madonna with gym skin why is madonna with gym skin like that shouldn't happen and actually like she should know as the queen of pop herself that she'd just like i don't think i need to go talk to gym skin yeah like i i think i'm cool like because also because everything has been put into such a shockwave since charlie did her thing then charlie would say no that's just saying charlie probably thinks like i don't need to do the straight diva podcast because they're going to talk about me every week yeah which is tea me looking around just see if she's around stranger things have happened um stranger but yeah i kind of felt like the madonna album was you know that video of the guy the d the the the like hot dude that djs and then takes his top off while he's djing yeah i kind of thought like it was that but for but like with a eulogy of like dance music and feeling safe in the club for sure um so speaking of feeling safe in the club how was your pride uh my pride was spent editing uh straight diva clips that's okay uh on the weekend mom said what you do at the weekend i said it's not random i said i edit katie king clips bro we are um oh thanks no it's all right i mean not all day i was gonna say uh do you that on a Saturday.

16:44Oh, I don't think so. And then I prepped for... I worked on Saturday. I prepped for our gig together. Oh, yeah, God. Have we said... Oh, yeah, surprise, Lou, supporting me at our gig. Woo! Screen of supporting as well as Big Softie. Woo! But you can't come because it already sold out. Yeah, it sold out. And people keep DMing me and I'm like, I'll get you on guest list. And I actually don't know if I can. If I have said guest list, turn up because I hope I can, but... If I have said guest list, show up and I won't get you in. Speaking of, So on Saturday, I did some work. I was working as well. Well, you were working at Pride.

17:19At Pride with Shu. Yeah, how was your Pride? Yeah, it was fine. I did that. I came home and just went out for dinner. Took a bit out for dinner because I'm not poor anymore. Thank you for everyone that paid their invoices. So I just want to give a shout out to Rosie, who's a straight-deaver listener that came into Shu. I just want to give you a big shout out because you really spoke very eloquently on Pride and what it means to be an ally. That was brilliant. Thank you. Just want to shout out Rosie. And then I also want to shout out Joel from the pub. I'm not going to say which pub because that pub is too busy now and it's my local pub and it's pissing me off it's that busy I'm not going to say where you were but you from Coventry and at the end of the night you offered me two vogues and I said no because I don't smoke anymore and shout you out Joel um yeah oh um where what's uh Sue I think's 2026 a verdict on pride uh is it that it's probably a net positive yeah um well sorry it's definitely a net positive but it feels quite corporate maybe and it's not that honestly don't even think that when I saw everyone out on a bike it was like oh that looks nice that looks nice like there was a point where I'm like oh maybe I could have like gone out or made an effort to get a howl or whatever yeah and I just remember I just don't like going out yeah and I was like I actually don't I think it is I think everyone looks like they had fun I do think everyone just like let their hair down and I think a lot of people turned up which is nice but again like Pride in London isn't about the protest anymore trans pride on the 26th and i will be going to that because annoyingly not annoyingly but i'm holding my hands up and saying i've never actually been to a trans pride we went to the protest but it wasn't trans pride and i've never actually been and learning trans pride follows me and i'm friends with the creator of it and everything like that and i love all the girls and the boys and the guys and the ways and whatever fuck but i've never been so i'm gonna go this year because pride is a protest and i do feel quite deeply that we need to start actually i know i've always had it but don't know what it is at the minute i do feel like shit like it's getting peak yeah do you know what's been the specifics i don't know i felt very um where was i oh we went to see pride the theater show and i just thought like oh god like we've only really had rights for like 20 years do you know what i mean and even then you're fighting for them and then even then like the rights were kind of like you're allowed to exist not like you're treated very nicely whatever that being said on the opposite end of the coin i do think straight people know too much about the trans community okay um and that's a conversation for another day that i was having with a few of the other trans girls that i know um where you know back in the day like missing nadia could win big brother and everyone just like lol yeah i love a tranny yeah or like love a trans person okay and like love trans person she's doing her you know it wasn't even a thought about what they were doing and now you know you wouldn't even know if you were in a toilet with a trans person because you wouldn't even care because you wouldn't even think about it.

20:05And I find that when I go to other countries, I'm like invisible again because I'm like, no one cares or even thinks about it. Whereas in the UK, I feel like it's such a thing at the minute due to the media that like, does anyone else think this? I don't know. Like I'm so aware of transness in the UK and I don't want to be aware anymore. Like I've stopped becoming aware. I've started muting the girls who post infographics and just stressing things to their story. Like honestly, if I see it, I just mute you. No, it's become a very - I can't do it. it's a lucrative business too like no shade but that's a conversation for another day i'm not going to go into that it's just become like one of the political issues of the day that sort of like immediately splits people there's like it's like become a very sort of polarizing political issue which can be like a i just hope that like how my life is i hope that if i get hired to do a job get asked to do a gig get us to do we get us to do something together i hope you're not asking us because there's a tranny in the midst.

21:05Do you know what I mean? The last thing that I want to get hired for is transness. Genuinely, hire me because I'm good at my job. That's it. Anywho. Because you're nasty. Yeah, hire me because I've got a loud mouth and a habit for sex. And a fat puss. And a habit for humping. Kidding. I mean, we don't get hired by many people, but I think it's usually because we're funny. Yeah, I hope so. I hope that's the case. were like sort of cool, sort of tragic. So, yeah. And also, I think, I understand like, you know, you're straight, I'm trans, that whole thing. But I think the issue, not the issue, but I think the USP is like friendship, not necessarily us talking about, you know, how hard it is or like what bother we've got in.

21:48Like actually, I just think existing is enough sometimes. Yeah. Anywho. Yeah. Shout out everyone, Prime 2026. I feel like you said before that like, being trans is like in your opinion the least interesting thing about you yeah which isn't like a slight on transness but it's like is a really important point to make definitely yeah it's not your uh it's not even in like the top five things i would think about your personality You think nasty, vile, spotty. Rude. Yeah, rude. Intolerant to eggs. Yummy. Yummy, yeah. Intolerant to eggs. I feel very mellow. Yeah, same. I'm quite enjoying it. Yeah. I think it'll probably be good.

22:39I think it will be good for people to... I think a lot of the country is probably feeling hungover right now. Yeah. Even we had Pride. We had England playing football last night. Which has been very enjoyable. Jude Bellingham just cock-mogging the fuck out of everyone in Mexico. Oh, God, that was gross. I am obsessed with... Kemi shared it today, Kemi. Kemi's to gram. Yes, legend icon star. At Glamour. She's at Glamour, I think, still. She... Hey, bonbon. Hello. So... This is our Pride correspondent. This is a Pride correspondent, the Fergut. What do you think about the corporatization of Pride?

23:22Oh! Wow. Yeah, nobody else wants to answer that question either. Literally. What was I saying? Oh, yeah. Kemi put on that she found it really funny that they were, like, outside the hotel of, like, all the English footballers. They were, like, lighting fireworks and that, and she just captioned it, and they still lost. What was the shit about Altitude? So... So Mexico City is really high up in the air. It's like, I want to say 6 ,000. And basically... 6 ,000 what? Metres, I think. Above the air. I think so. Above sea level, sorry. Oh. And I think... I can't remember what I was going to say. Basically, I'm not sure if you're familiar, but if you're higher up, the higher up you are, the less oxygen there is.

24:15Yeah. And the way I could the easiest way I could describe it is that like going up one flight of stairs in Mexico City would like seriously like make me out of breath Oh, which is maybe like I don't know. I'm pretty good with stairs in London. Oh, yeah, but like yeah, you should see Louie When the lifts closed down in a building he just floors them. He just whizzes up the stairs You know what are straight dystopia? I have to take my inhaler and he laughs at me He's like, God, I just love walking upstairs. Straight dystopia, men walking two steps at a time. Straight dystopia. Yes, I do that. Have you seen that one that was like...

24:48It just feels good on the legs. It just feels... It's a stretch. I saw a comment on TikTok that was like, your bird does two steps at a time. Every time we go up the steps and I'm just femme, I think about it because I do two steps at a time and I'm like, God, this is giving he him, honey. Also, sometimes you're in a tube station and you're just like, oh my God, get me the fuck out of here. Everyone else is moving so slowly. I always two-step it. Yeah. But also, Straight Dystopia, this was pointed out by Eve, and she said Straight Dystopia is watching dads and their prams, and they only ever do it one-handed.

25:20Oh, my God. Look at a dad pushing a pram. He never does it with two hands. Because you're so above just being a good dad. Yeah, you can have a coffee in one hand or a phone. Every time you'll see a dad out on his own with a pram, or he might be with his partner, he's doing it with one hand. Yeah. Watch it. You couldn't possibly just commit yourself. You'll never not see it. You couldn't possibly just commit yourself to being just like a good dad. You couldn't just live in the moment. So fierce. So fierce. Everyone knows that unexplainable it factor. That smile that lights up a room. That wow. Well, it doesn't happen by itself.

25:53There's chemistry behind the charisma. Colgate Optic White Pro Series toothpaste removes 15 years of deep-set stains when you brush twice daily for two weeks. How? 28:00No, no, we should be Wonderwall. It's like truly finishing someone off. It's like really just like, and have this too, you prick. Like, it's crazy. Have Wonderwall. Just like a bunch of gammon screaming Wonderwall at you when you've lost. Like, could you imagine? Let me pull out the guitar. I think I would shoot myself in the head. I could be like, nah, nah, nah, nah. Round the fire to just, I finally bash your head. Don't boo me, just sing Wonderwall. Like, I know I've done much worse. So obnoxious. And they film it as well It's so bad If I sing Wonderwall Shoot me in the head Yeah If I sing Wonderwall At the function If I go to an England game And start singing Wonderwall With a bunch of gamins Yeah Shoot me in the head Shoot you in the head It is You're right It's the true finishing move By the English Where the fuck the function Can you remember that video?

28:45Where the fuck the function That's a Drake song Yeah no But she was quoted She was a girl on TikTok I don't know She'd be like Fucking hell She's dead now It's horrible She died really young She had like a real bad cough and she was like I've been here for two weeks and within a few days she's a legend can anyone else remember her I can't remember her name and she'd always be like fucking hell fucking hell and she had a little chihuahua oh she was she was a legend oh the really she's from London yeah yeah yeah and she'd be like where the fuck the function and she would dance and shit and she always had her hair in her bun yeah but she more filmed herself like walking someone would film her no no okay I'm thinking of someone else no she'd like walk she'd be like fucking hell I'm thinking of the East End woman.

29:28It's hot fucking hell. East End woman, and then she occasionally cooks. She's very, like, loud and in your face. I think we're thinking of a different movie. Oh, I don't know. I don't think so. She would, like, film herself walking around. She had a little chihuahua that would chase her. No, I'm not thinking of the one. Yeah. Oh, she was the best. Anyway, she died R.I.P. Queen. Loved her. Like, when she died, I was genuinely like, that's actually awful. Wait, sorry, what's her name? We don't know. I can't remember her name. Someone will know. Great broadcasting right here. No, I know. Who is that person?

29:58But yeah, straight culture is in right now, guys. Everyone's pretending to like football. I'm so here for it. Everyone's suddenly feeling patriotic. Again, here for it. And yeah, what's been your favorite moment of the World Cup? How did you corporatize pride this week, guys? Where did you give your money? Yeah, whose fund were you contributing? You didn't find it? No, I can't remember her name. I'll find her and I'll post it. Because I did learn it's a Drake song and it's just coming up with Drake lyrics. Should we fucking... Wait, is there anything you want to talk about before seriously sinking our teeth into some agony and that?

30:45I feel like there was. Oh, yes. I wanted to ask the viewers of Straight Diva. Has anyone had CO2 thingy on their face? because there's micro needling and then there's like something called like the axle or something like that and then there's this one it's like co2 it's like resurfacing for your face as anyone had it done the videos of people having it done it's like they got kicked in the face and it takes like 10 days till but their face is fully resurfaced and you said you said it's like a layer of skin yeah but i just want anybody if anybody has had it and can actually recommend it please because i just don't want i just the thing is when you look up a dermatologist in london they all just look like fake their websites are horrible so they look awfully fake and then there's always one review that's like i left worse than when i came in and so i'm just kind of like i need because i would like to have a go at getting rid of my any scars girls like that's my new yeah me too so is that and that's the way it's like co2 well co2 you only have to go to one session and how much are we talking two grand oh my god i'm willing to pay it i'm willing to pay you got money babes i haven't that's the funniest thing but like i'm so do you know like with like the t girls and all the girls that get like they get their boobs on instead of this i'm just gonna get my face resurfaced yeah with laser it's like co2 laser has anyone had it if you had had it because i was talking to bill and bill was asking his friends in la who were all really helpful and they were like no but this one is the one but we've never had it because we they're all working actors so they've never had like two weeks to be able to have like downtime right and realistically actually after the ep i've probably got a tiny bit of downtime okay not downtime but like it doesn't really matter like i'll be on the pod yeah i'll just have like a hat on um because it looks like it literally there's this one picture of this woman that's going done and she looks like she didn't kick her face been kicked off it's absolutely insane but the results babe really Yeah, if someone has had it Is it risky at all?

32:48Well, they're all risky It's the same with microneedling If someone microneedles you wrong, goes too deep Then they just make more damage So I just want to make sure that someone's been to someone that's actually good And isn't just like a beauty therapist That has just bought the machine for two grand It's going to drill holes in my face Yeah, because I've already got enough fucking holes in my face So yeah, LMK, LMK Or if they know something or other Because I don't want to get a chemical peel I'd rather know that I'm getting something done I think chemical peels are weird or has anyone had the fraxel it's called like fraxel or something anyway my baby told me she likes my acne scars oh does bill say he likes your acne scars or yeah he's like yeah i hate your acne scars i hate my acne scars i do i hate them so much and also like yours really aren't that bad but as music's going on it's just like i see them and i just don't i'm sick of putting filters on my face yeah i don't mind them because lord's got them love you lord but i think you know i'm in a position where I'm like oh fuck it I might as well see if I can change them because I need to be so I mean I want to look young I just want to look a bit smooth honey but it gives you personality and it's actually like it doesn't really change the look of your face I would say like but the more music gets big and the more public we get like I just want to be the best version of myself that I can be yes you know until you become a transformer yeah until I become a man again hello because that would be the best version yeah because that is the best version of myself oh honey oh honey do you want some fucking agony aren't you fucking prick also just want to shout out could everyone go listen to kissing please fuck Madonna could everyone go listen to kissing K-I-S-S-I-N-G I've decided to start coming back at people I S S I it's a good song it's a nice song and it leads on to the project the project's out in two weeks I'm not ready to have shame next Thursday Friday next Friday's out my baby my baby is out my baby my baby my baby anyway okay so please go listen to Kitty it's a banger I think hey Sue and Luzin 27 hetero jump scare here just want to ask advice for flirting with straight men what was the sorry what was the ASL hey Sue and Luzin 22 hetero jump scare here just want to ask advice for flirting with straight men from what i heard from the girls you just have to be really obvious with it yeah really obvious um but then pretend not to be interested um like three pictures at the same time so you know that uh he's gonna see it um kind of bully him a little bit yeah uh have like...

35:26Yeah, they love that, don't they? Yeah, like, have cooler taste than him, even if you don't. Because, and yeah, and just be horrible to him, basically. Just put him in his place. Be direct. Be direct. No, sorry. In all seriousness, what works with straight men? I almost have no idea. I think just, just, just, yeah, I think straight men can be pretty useless, So I think honestly being forwards is kind of hot And it's honestly like more practical sometimes You know, obviously there's some art in subtlety And playing the game And je ne sais quoi, and mystery

36:13But I would say that strengthens sometimes kind of need it spelled out for them Which isn't, you know, I'm not saying it's good Yeah But yeah A couple of hand jobs Yeah Make them a mixtape Make them a playlist Yeah That's what I'd like Oh that's lovely And then Yeah I'd just bully them Right next one Hi Susan and Luzin Similar name That's crazy God are we just Susan and Luzin Potential of interest Moved away quickly after we met We still talk every day and have met up multiple times since. They also want to move back ASAP, but when asked if they'd like to potentially move things forward, they said they didn't want to make any decisions until they felt more settled.

37:00I understand their position, but mostly want to see if there was any interest at all, so I don't just hold on to the potential of what could be. Any advice would be appreciated. It's very small. It's very small. So you're saying that your babes moved away and then they're coming back, but they're not seeming too interested in you anymore. Honestly, my advice would be fuck them off. Like, if you're not gagging for it, then girl, gag the fuck off, honey. Also, though, I understand that they'll want to feel settled. You just need to get a couple more birds on the go. Yeah. You can't watch a kettle boil.

37:53Sorry, I don't fully understand the question, but I think I get the general sense that your love interest has moved away and they want more time, basically. I mean, it kind of sounds like it's out of your control. So, do what you've got to do. Don't wait on no sucker unless you think they're, like, wifey. No more suckers in my life. A guy I saw right before my dad died Oh god wait I've got something in my eye And it's not because it's an emotional question Yeah A guy I saw right before my dad died Got a new girlfriend who has a biggish podcast And it annoys me Are you trying to insult us? Yeah is that giving Who's Bill dating before me?

38:43Who is it? Is it Ed Gamble? Yeah Who is she? was the other guy on table manners wouldn't it be mad if it was about Bill that would have been so funny that's horrible I wonder who it is whose girlfriend has a successful podcast I mean there's so many successful podcasts now guy and a girl making electronic music yeah I did like that that was funny

39:09start your own podcast start your own media enterprise find your niche post short form three times a week. Yeah, have you thought about that? Use on-screen captions. Guys, it's not that hard. List what you say in the episode, bio. Yeah, SEO, hashtags. Then Spotify will end up being like, oh, would you like to come in and come to our podcast thing? And you brown nose them to fuck. You brown nose them to fuck. And then they're lovely to you. And then you can make enough money that you kind of think about quitting your job but can't really quit your job. And so you have to find other ways to get by, Like doing hosting or being a musician.

39:47Or wearing hideous shoes.

39:51The Chanel. The Chanel. Nice save. Right. Six foot three, eight inch himbo potamus here. How do you break the cycle of hanging out with your ex, ending up shagging each other and then falling out just to repeat it again? Ovs can't get back together, but when things are good, they're great. Can you two be my matchmakers? Or Louis, can we run a two-man? Can we run a two-man? Well, unfortunately, I'm off. You know who's asked that question, right? No. Well, I could guess. What's a two-man? A two-man is just like when you... Antidex someone. It's when you go out on the pool with another person. Okay.

40:35What would my... This person, so many people fancy you, babe. I can't go on a two-man with you currently because I'm seeing someone. I could be a matchmaker for sure. Didn't know you were shagging your ex. Yeah, girl.

40:56Yeah, stop doing that. Yeah, I'd stop doing that. I mean, obviously it's nice and easy to shag your ex and you should do it like once maybe. Yeah. But after you've done it twice, it's kind of depressing. It eventually just hurt after a while, won't it? It's actually sort of the high just kind of evaporates. But I don't know how much you want. Also, you're not six foot three. Let's just stop right there. Himbo Potomus is good. Eight inch six foot three is really good. Also, hanging out with your ex. Yeah, stop doing that. What? But this person, you know, we can, at the gig, we can matchmake you with someone if you want.

41:36There'll be plenty of people. For sure. In fact, there were people coming up to the last gig that we were at together being like, who's your mate? About you. Yeah, and you're langme, and you're funny. Yeah. But just stop shagging your ex. I mean, you could hang out with her, but don't just, I mean, probably don't if you're going to keep shagging them.

41:58So, I know you might be going through a hard time right now, but you're not helping yourself by shagging your ex so much. God damn. God damn. Listen to Straight Diva and do bad things to enjoy and wank to porn. Yeah, which we're not. Which we're not. We're not anymore. No, you could use Belessa, which is supposedly better at paying the women. And gives women better ownership of their porn. Okay, I don't watch women porn anyway. It's got something for everyone. Yeah, yeah. God, that's so funny. And that's okay. And that's okay It's my new thing And it's really good isn't it And a lot of people Have taken it on I really like it I've taken it on as well I've completely robbed it In agony on Are we okay for one more?

42:41I'm okay for one more We're at 45 minutes Oh great Perfect In agony on Guys I need help I feel like life Is a rejection max in me Right now I'm done Girl What happened to the English language honey? 43:58very out of the blue or what very out of the blue breakup followed by extremely confusing maybe getting back together stage until i was treated so badly i had to leave also got very close to being hired at dream places a few times and not got the job at the last stage after my current job said they can't keep me on shit hospitality jobs for all sides of uni but still plus a very small and busy friend group who are all in relationships meaning i literally feel like no one wants me around trying my hardest to keep bringing myself back up but every time it feels like there's something else that pushes me down.

44:27Any advice for staying positive and loving yourself through times like this? Just literally exhausted, but don't want to sit around feeling sorry for myself either. What's a gal got to do? I'm 21, I'm a cis girl, and trying to fill the void with male attention on hinge. And? Bonbon? Yeah, what's the dog saying? What's the solution? Oh, okay. What is the solution, girl? That is really funny. That's just what we have to say about dating. The dog slobber on the mic is crazy, girl. Don't, because he'll take up the mic and think, I don't listen to you. Sorry, I barely caught any of that question. They're going through a peak time.

45:09They're going through a peak time. For all your listeners, there's a dog in the park. And it was funny. I would say sometimes it feels like your life's falling apart before it comes back together. and they say that getting on to the next step or chapter, that's how you do it. It feels like it has to come apart to come back together. Yeah, okay. I mean, that sounds like generic good advice, I guess. Thank you. What's the TLDR of what you're tapping into? Basically, they were going through talking stage. It's not worked out. Cry me a fucking river. They were nearly going to get hired at their dream job twice, but it hasn't worked.

45:44They've just lost their actual job. Oh, fuck. And all of their friends and relationships. And you're filling the void with Hinge. Yes. Well buddy I've been there Shit God Just do more hinge dates It's that simple More hinge dates What are we talking about right Yes I did You're so cute His tag says I am loved All of your listeners I'm patting Sue on the head And telling her she's so cute Okay Oh she's going to stop the recording Okay yeah you need okay yeah i love her song you need what you need right now is a healthy balance of self-worth and like distraction slash hobby you need self-worth distraction slash hobby because when you lose someone when when you uh sorry when you're when you're feeling lonely right in the love department and then you lose a job if you don't have a strong sense of self-worth beneath that you are going to get crushed but you do have things that are innately good about you and it's good to remind yourselves even if your job and your love is going well in those situations like you know I'm good at fingering or I like dogs it's nice to finger yourself I've gotten into that recently or sometimes I write funny notes apps allegedly apps is that a podcast?

47:06get a dog so what you need right now is some affirmations I guess I should buy and get a dog should I get a dog you should get a dog if I bought a dog Bill wouldn't know because I want to call my dog Ghost right either that or have a child and call it Ghost I think that's really fierce from God that's fierce from Call of Duty yeah but then he dies I remember I remember story time honey oh honey oh honey I had it honey like me having a kid called Ghost yeah just have a kid that's it ghosting have a kid get a dog what if I have a kid girls be a single mother I'm not rich enough to have kids that's my second year to have kids every EP is I'm not rich enough to I'm not rich enough to have kids I'm not rich enough to live anymore I'm not rich enough to have shame I ate with that title it is great I should say back to me I hope you're okay you should just be kind to yourself because sometimes I know everyone does say that but it really does as someone who's like it's happened to a couple times it really does feel like it has to break apart to come back together stronger for sure I do wholeheartedly believe that you need to have these sort of lows to...

48:12And then you look back on it and you're like, God damn, I'm a fucking beast. I went fucking beast mode, bro. God damn, I'm a monster. I went absolutely awesome sauce, epic time. Yeah. Epic meal time on my life ski right there. I went monster munchy. I went pickled onion monster munch on it. Whoa. On the dum-dum. I just life-maxed hard. I just life-maxed a fuck. I life-maxed hard and mugged out everyone else in my fucking friendship group. I just did three hinge dates in one day. I just love Max three boys because I can fucking do what I want. I actually did three hinge dates in one day in Mexico City, but that's a story for a Patreon episode.

48:49And with that, we're going to love you and leave you. Yeah. You've been watching Straight Deaver Industries. Wait, sorry. Affirmations and distraction. Yeah, affirmations. I will resurface. And just grind. You keep going, bro. Get a better job. You hang in there. And remember that your job and your love actually isn't all. You've got friends and you've got family, and that's nature and that's the best and you've got Susan Boyle's debut album with Wild Horses shortly followed by Dream to Dream art even though Madonna's album was absolutely dog shit it's still good that we have it and my album's coming out in two weeks so just wait for that hunt thought it was an EP that's what I said it's an album I love you love you guys well done well done
