In short

The hosts chat about micro-influencer life and brand deals, then pivot to a detailed review/discussion of Phoebe Bridgers’ 2020s album “The Record” (and its connections to Gracie Abrams and Paul). They also trade personal anecdotes (festival encounters, screen-time, public toilet mishaps, travel), discuss trans-media casting rejections, and end with music taste/parental influence talk and upcoming plans (Edinburgh Fringe, gigs, weddings).

Guests

No guests appear in this episode. The “guests” referenced are other public figures mentioned in conversation (e.g., Claudia Winkleman, Phoebe Bridgers, Gracie Abrams, Madonna, Johnny K, Julie Jupiter, Off Trend interviewees), plus the couple Daniel and Roisin from the “I Love My Wife”/Hinge audiobook promo.

Key claims

Influencers should be paid fairly and only promote what they genuinely use; “don’t read comments” and “schedule” are key micro-influencer skills; Phoebe’s album is sentimental but everyday, with “pretend to be me” themes tied to Gracie’s bedsheets/Paul imagery; trans women casting can feel reductive when selection doesn’t happen.

Notable examples

Johnny K’s bursary boarding-school TikTok stories; Claudia Winkleman screaming “Sue” at Gatwick and giving a free cookie; Off Trend “High Fashion” series; Phoebe/Gracie spaceship bedsheets meme; Madonna Howard Stern interview; EHRC/editorial casting offers that didn’t convert to shoots.

0:00Should she say that about the kisses? Is that weird? She doesn't care. She presses send. This is the love story of real hinge couple Daniel and Roisin, written and read by me, Rufy Thorpe. Listen to the free audiobook now.

0:17Whoa, zoom the fuck in. Closer. Turn the lights off in this place. Closer. I was sucking on the knob. Then she dimmed me down to sleep Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah She's just roasting on my Hug Okay, welcome back, Sue, from your holiday Okay, then, what's what I see, then? If you don't like that, champagne, I'm up, why not? We're a bit close today Hi Are you okay? Hi I didn't, I forgot we had a Patreon episode last week And so I uploaded it the same time you uploaded but it's okay because i think it works it's because i'm actually i was uploaded it late i uploaded the one before late so i was like let's hold it and then let's just give them two in one week yeah fist double fist so if you're in our patreon this week you've got a episode of us talking about telling each other's origin story origin stories and then uh filling in the gaps we went deep back to uh childhood trauma school like our role in the school society and the school power rankings and if it was this is youtube it would be um the youtube thumbnail would be us like you'd be like this and i'd be like this and and the the caption would be letting louis say my dead name that was our origin story video titles aren't you yes well i'm from the james charles school of the internet kidding i'm a shane dawson baby really and then what else did they get on the the patreon this week uh and then you got an italy vlog of me in italy and it turns out i'm not going to be olivia neal anytime soon um olivia neal is the northern irish the irish one yeah she's just going to car to starbucks and then now she lives in notting hill probably she's friends with like back car and like notting hill sort of oh yeah they're all the girls so her house and good for her and good for her good for her and we were like we were i was on tiktok the other day and i was just like looking and i was like influencers existing is so stupid like what do we like i say we not me so you're an influencer not me hoe you're part of the illuminati ho um but it was like um it was like um i i was like looking at people and someone was like who is this guy and he was like filming this person and then they got tagged in the comments like it's this influence and i was like and i went on their profile and i was like what do you all do how do these girls who have like a million followers and they're just like pretty what genuinely do you do they get invited to the house of coco and they yeah but like it's a 40-part blowfish thing for asahi even like off trend like i used to wait for off trend love off trend shout out the girls off trend but off trend i don't love off trend off trend so fuck you guys off trend interviewing like people from like love island being like what does fashion mean to you girl fuck knows they're in a no poly dress and they don't know anything from nothing they just got famous off a fucking tv show like this diva was working at h &m before the season came out honey like i don't know is it gaggy are we gagging i just influence is crazy like do something um the u.s has julie what's her face the woman the older woman who just harasses celebrities in the street oh my god yeah julie jupiter julie jupiter and judy jupiter apologies and we have off trend which was me formerly me also jess corrigan if you're releasing an album yeah you go on off trend and they and they like stop you in carnaby street and they go like what's what do you think of skinny jeans it's also interesting with off trend because i'm off trend because you're great at what you do and there's this is a whole there's an industry thing it's a personal thing i find it's like with magazines or like off trend for example is basically like an online magazine you know that they're getting sponsored by like say like Bacardi or something and then you know that they're getting paid tens of thousands of pounds and they're like would you do this job for 150 quid yeah no we'll not because I know if Bacardi come to me I will be getting paid to 10 ,000 pounds so there was this one time they offered me to do a job I mean nothing bad happened with off trend I actually pitched an idea and they said yes to it and I did the first episode and then we just never did the second episode called high fashion the one where you went to Cotty Sark no I did one it was a it was just my a series that was with Corbin Shaw and it was called High Fashion I conceptualized that kind because I was like oh my god do I just become an influencer now so I was like I'll start a series and so Off Trend were like we'd gladly put the series on on and they were like and they followed up like three times to do another episode we just haven't really got around to and also when an idea that's why I'm really proud of you too and I love my wife your interviews because the minute not even Off Trend did this so much so but like the minute you take it to anyone or like a platform that isn't yours they'll always be like do you want to get this person it's like i don't particularly want to get this person on or like they're like do you want it into this person you're like no not really yeah or when you're editing it it just becomes a bit and also though but saying that like i think there's a freedom that like having a bit of money or knowing that there's money the reason why i did high fashion with off trend is because yeah you got paid for it whereas i'm yeah i'm not making i'm not making any money from but i am proud of you you keep going because it is me and bill watch the episode two really yeah i have no idea who that guy is still really yeah no idea well that's not shocking because his audience is 80 young straight seems lovely though who uh he's divine um did you kiss we did kiss yeah that was so nice uh for context if anyone doesn't know what we're talking about i love my wife is not just a sticker on my laptop it's a um and it's written two times on his nose it is because because i wanted to plug the show and because i wanted to plug the gig oh as well that is on the 2nd of september uh because tickets are flying off the fucking shelves um my band multi-screen is supporting uh a lovely lady called tesny and a uh a band called formfinity who are just just some of the kind of whippersnappers that are taking the London music scene by storm right now in a sort of guy-girl electronic duo way.

6:36But no, I Love My Wife is my brand, I guess, or whatever. And there's a new interview with a guy called Johnny K who... Everyone seems to know. He's very... He tells stories on TikTok. He's huge on TikTok. He has like 250 ,000 followers. Yeah. One... I'm not going to say that. He knows a lot of people And I've watched his stories before And he's very informative He used to manage Novelist, the rapper If you know who that is And yeah, he basically Has got viral from telling stories About how he went to this weird school On TikTok, which is like Very weird boarding school That is like 99 % bursary students So basically No one there Is paying fees But it's this very very you'd hate it you'd absolutely hate it then well i would as well because it's very it's like weirdly like traditional whereas my fee-paying school was very liberal my extremely expensive school was incredibly liberal um you paid for the liberalism but they wear all these robes and it's like fraternity and brotherhood and don't shag and don't kiss honey it's weird brotherhood okay it's weird but he tells us stories about that and about sobriety and bladder bladder bladder but he's a man that's worn many hats he's worked in recruitment he's also worked with a guardian he's not posh but he went to a posh school also can I just say here and now someone on the guardian's instagram followed me and the guardian has like millions and millions of followers and follows 300 people I am one of those 300 people really now if that was you on the guardian account whoever is listed this podcast unfollow who no no i love it but like were you thinking of something because i was like oh my god am i gonna be like am i gonna get a column am i gonna be like sean fay and like i'll do it against my will i hate maybe maybe you were shortlisted for uh presenting a web series award from the guardian me yeah i know but missing from north they're doing more video content at the moment so guys keep your eyes guardian young creatives who want to message email the now's a good time to email the guardian okay should we do like a kyson at streamer school but for like like pretend musicians who slash micro influencers yeah it's real musicians we're real musicians we're real musicians we're real musicians we're real musicians we're real we're so susan the studio real we started to i've started saying no to social media stuff i'm doing the vox pop gig this weekend and sue turned it down i said no Guys I said no I've started saying no honey I'll say yes To Straight Diva stuff I mean that was Straight Diva But like it was presenting And they wanted to Collaborate on my account And I said no Because I don't like I'm a musician girls So please just like The fucking videos It's so sick And I do respect that And that is right probably No but I also think There's a privilege there Because I have a record deal That is paying my rent So there's also like I now I'm at a privileged place That I'm able to say no I'll get there You will I'm right behind you honey Oh honey um but yeah i i just love the art of vox pop too much to say no really to be honest i do too really um if there are fees there i love it the craft of actually you know what when it's at a festival and it's kind of like oh it's fun having a good time when it's your favorite song the last time i did them with dazed it was at field day i can't remember which one the charlie one the lighter one um and honestly it was like just meeting a load of listeners it was fab like in the end like i think chester was getting annoyed because i kept kiki and people oh my god screaming um not that chester was ever annoyed at me um would they ask me to the lord one i said no to that i'm really saying i'm in my no bag so i'm i'm picking up sue's crumbs except i'm not because it's for a different brand yeah but if you should have seen the number that sue asked for guys she is up well i'm not because no one said yes to my number yeah but that's not the point i just you said you set the number yeah and and then you've prescribed what the fee is i said a number right so for a certain brand negotiation 101 with straight diva yeah yeah negotiation 101 with us i said a fee and i was like honestly that fee is like you should be so lucky honey like that is like i told my friend i said that fee though like you should have said double it and i was like okay great but i still it was a fee that made me laugh some friends just always are saying that and it's like you don't you don't get it you don't know what the fuck you're talking about um so then i said thank you i said a fee and then they were like um they were like could you do it for half and i was like no no i can't like that's stupid i if i say fee i'm not taking the piss i'm not going in high to hopefully get half like no it's like and i'm really grateful that they offered it me and stuff but ultimately too like especially when you work for brands and we're so lucky and grateful if any brands listen to it but especially when it's like a clothing brand and then you have to wear some clothing that you necessarily probably won't put on it's also i don't know i also just don't want to um promote i really do believe that the backbone influencers who actually promote things that they actually use are people that I not even influencers but like creators like oh hello do something oh hey baby Sophie has watched the room you need to put I don't want to be someone that's like oh my god look at my gummies that I take I don't take gummies do you know what I mean this is what I was trying to tell you when Strongbow wanted to do a seltzer thing for Pride in Manchester last year I know I was so skint so Louis was like no and I was like please fucking I was like Louis we grab the fucking can of dark fruit, please.

12:28And it was like, no honey. It was like dark fruits, but not dark fruits. It was dark. Yeah. It was dark fruits in collab with Manchester pride. we've just given the promo now. It's probably delicious. Yeah. But it was like the new dark fruits, but I was in France at the time and you could have, here she comes. Hey, Sophie has got on the table and he, yeah. And then Lou was like, I'm not sure. And then like towards the end, then we like confirmed they weren't going to do it i was like i can do it and the guy was like it's too late and i was like do but it's fine see i'm still alive do gay people drink strong bow dark fruits well probably not strong bow dark fruits mixed with poppers honey i feel the rush with these strong bow cans i was gonna say it makes with ghp and that's actually just not funny because it would kill you um not if you use it right not all gays take ghp yeah not all gays take ghb um hi what would your tip for um what would straight divas influencer school micro influencer school teach um learning not to read the comments i think i'd have to do a few lessons on that yeah um and then i think it teach post post post post post it teach how to find time to do a podcast every week for a couple years i teach scheduling in the most awful way and it would teach saying anything on a mic and saying your darker secrets like like it would be like circle time but you have to say your worst traumas in a funny way you saying how you feel out loud is terrifying but that's what hinges new free audiobook no ordinary love is all about It's a collection of real love stories About five couples that met on Hinge The stories are written and read By Tembi Dinton Hurst Nicola Dinan, Curtis Garner Raven Smith and Rufy Thorpe I, Hunter Harris, wrote and read the foreword The audiobook's out now Give it a listen

14:34Um, I'd say do something that's going to appeal to a dazed magazine yeah crack magazine perfectly imperfect otherwise it's not worth doing choose some really tacky branding for your podcast artwork which is like a logo with some doodles in the background and then a picture of you like yeah smiling in a photography studio yeah um i'd also say like hire multiple different editors at multiple different phases of the podcast and then like uh eventually let them go because the podcast doesn't actually make enough money yeah sorry about that guys love you um shout out to matty and sam and everyone or messages us it just turns out we just don't have any money to pay you for longer than three months i'm not very good at accounting really well the thing is when money comes in it comes in nice but then that money has to last us like months and so when we do have money we're like oh my god we're up and then like actually this year to be fair at the start of this year it was i don't know how everyone else felt in their like chosen fields but it was a very slow year money wise i feel like people couldn't get up from last year yeah um alas it's fine uh other tips for micro-influencer school is obviously find your niche um even if that is what everyone else is doing um so hell yeah just you know hate on you know celebrities met girl or outfits that's and hate to the point hate to the point where you actually don't care about the thing that you're hating on and then hate to a point that people will dm you being like you need to go up you're actually so hateful have a take on absolutely everything that's happening so like this week you have a take on the Phoebe Bridges album.

16:23You have a take on the Solar Eclipse. You have a take. Always have an opinion. Yeah, always have an opinion on absolutely everything, even if you know nothing about what you're talking about. Vertical drinking. Yeah. Do you even care about the Hanty Half? Absolutely not. I really don't mind that people are on it. Yeah, exactly. Will I slag it off? Yeah. Yeah. You have to love something or hate it and you should probably hate it as well. Unless you love it in a fierce way. What have you got? Speaking of being... What have you got? Doing a straight diva thing. I would like to give a straight give a shout out to Claudia in Gales.

16:55Winkleman. Imagine, yeah, Claudia Winkleman. To Claudia in Gales in Stansted Airport or Heathrow. It wasn't Heathrow. Or it might have been Gatwick. One of the airports. Bill, where did we fly from? Gatwick. To Claudia in Gales in Gatwick where we were late, not late for our flight, but we were like getting towards our flight and then we were there with the family and Eve goes to order a drink and as she's ordering a drink, Claudia sees me and screams. And I was like, and then she was like, but she screamed and I, she screamed a scrump and I thought, oh. And then everyone turned around and then she was like, Sue?

17:37And I was like, yeah. And then she screamed again and then we had a kiki and she gave me a free cookie. She was like, I better get a shout out. So this is me shouting you out, Claudia. I was so frazzled. so i was like hi like yeah yeah it was i was like um but yeah shout out to you claudia i just wanted i said i would and here we are uh almost makes up for the fact that um you're not allowed to go to gales obviously yeah i'm not but you're in an airport so it's fine yeah so it's fine yeah that one doesn't count it's like similarly you're not allowed to go near schools but like yeah but if you go to a different country the kind of rules kind of don't apply

18:16what was the other thing written down uh no it literally is that oh it's both of them shout out to straight even it says um shout out to anyone uh jesus sue there were so many fucking straight diva fans uh uh houghton jesus did you see the dm uh i saw some yeah someone talking about oh posh people yapping because louis is one yeah sue me okay sue me for having fun at the festival see me i want to be wanted um see me i want to be wanted um but you have fun i had fun but i don't want to sound like a prick i didn't have a bad experience with anyone but it was the first time in my life because i fucking love people coming up to me the first time in my life i was like whoa really this is too much i actually just want to be invisible right now really which I didn't think it was possible for me.

19:08I thought I was always like, first time a pack of girls screamed at me. Fun. But I think it was in like a Louis Dewey 12. It was a runaway. It was in fear. No, it was in like, he's a queer baiter. He's a little soft boy way. It wasn't like, oh my God, it's Louis Bluey. It was like, okay. It was endearing, but I was lost. I didn't know what to do. It's worse when you're on drugs. Yeah. And I just want to shout out those two people in the... Which I wasn't doing. No. Yeah, yeah, we're not allowed to talk about that. And I'm sober. Wait, this isn't sponsored. We are allowed to talk about drugs. Because I'm sober.

19:49I was just extremely drunk during Marina at Primavera. And two people came up and asked for a photo. And I was extremely drunk. And the photo, I was like, can I check the photo? Because when I'm extremely drunk, parts of my body move. Oh and didn't you say You said no No I said yes I always say yes But didn't But then I have to like Didn't your friend Who you were with Tell you when we dived Tell you that You shouldn't have taken that Didn't she like say no for you No no no She was She took an executive decision No no no She She was saying no Because She was She said no for her Yeah she said no for her Whereas I said Yes because I Because I love it Okay I love it I love it So I'll always say yes If you want a picture for me Say yes And then some person's probably Why would anyone ask them for a photo And you're right Yeah I got asked for a photo out and I couldn't believe it Getting asked for a photo, cool Anyway we're talking about being a micro-influencer Quite a lot Get a cat Let's move on So This last Friday Phoebe Bridges Entered the top 5 Rap beats of the 2020s album of the year challenge i'm so sorry she's won it um all of these fucking stereotypical uh guys around the world that vaguely resemble me are filming themselves um and coming out in droves to show support for miss bridges miss bridges the alt queen of she is the decade you forget and then she comes back and you're like oh god it's been a while let's see how long i can run without walking she can pretend to be me yeah since she took my place on that stage in your bed i'm not i haven't lost any sleep because it starts out about paul it starts out about paul and you immediately know it because it's called the governor's waltz and you're like i know that picture yeah that's a meme and then straight in shelly devol reference i can't yeah yeah hiding in the bathroom yeah bars imagery nose bleeding why is it bleeding yeah so i was like is that the ultimate ick or is he doing packet exactly that's what he's sorry is he really really drunk if you just don't know speak or it could just be a massive metaphor because you have a really big bogey in his nose and he yeah and he picked it if you ever done that and it just hits and then you start bleeding well hay fever i get these kind of walls up my nose and i want to just peel them off yeah i do know exactly and then if you peel them off they bleed they bleed you get them too yeah i do they should have a name for that um bogey balls bogey balls honey bloody balls honey uh yeah paul got fucking annihilated but then i don't know if he did like i feel like what i actually like about that last stanza about it's clearly about gracie no shade is it's quite loving because the whole thing is about her being like because basically her saying that she ended it because she was unhappy he really loved her and she's like i i needed to go because i couldn't love myself when i was with you because you love me too much and then she was like same with gracie like you go and have him but pretend to be me is pretend to be me is big pretend is a she can pretend not that i think it was a mistake because i love it did you see everything about the bedsheets and stuff you know no no no okay so basically how phoebe uh basically gracie abram's first cover that she ever did at 13 was the waiting room by phoebe bridges so she cites she cites her as like her biggest inspiration one of her biggest inspirations that and taylor swift you can hear it in a fucking voice and then a third inspiration is um diana vickers no who's the one that's just basically writes the third inspiration is audrey hobart she writes the album for her honey um no shade honey um love the girls i love the credited yeah that's how audrey hobart got big because she wrote really uh gracie's biggest music i didn't know that um and basically she was friends and like a fan of phoebe and obviously if he was a paul and then phoebe uploads a photo of paul in her bed with these bed sheets that have like spaceships on them gracie later on has uploaded a photo of her bed with these spaceship bed sheets on Phoebe comments I have the same bedsheets And then on Gracie's tour She has a bed on stage With the same bedsheets Paul's pissed the bed And now Paul's in those bedsheets But they're not Phoebe's bedsheets They're Gracie's Fucking hell The internet's fucked Yeah it's crazy Why we Whoa Sophie's ass muscles Were just twitching That was crazy She's holding in a fart honey It was like It was like that anaconda video I can't Oi But it's the Ow Yeah, so that's the tea.

25:00It is hilarious how... There's another thing as well, but I can't remember. Gracie Abrams is the carbon, like of all the sort of similar musicians out today. Taylor Swift's first feature on her album ever was Phoebe Bridges. After all that time. Really? Taylor Swift never did a feature. Oh no, that's a lie. Female feature, first female feature. Really? Was Phoebe Bridges. Yeah, because she's done a song with Kendrick Lamar, of course. Yeah, and a cheer rain. Ed Sheeran. Did you see how Kate King really didn't like, or she reviewed Ed Sheeran's stuff? Yeah, I've stopped watching her. Sorry, guys.

25:36She did a really good one the other day, but she has sort of diluted her content a bit. She's being a hater. But we'll get onto that in a second. I just want to finish with, and also there was the other bit, which is like, if you're drinking, I'm drinking, which is an interlude, which she samples another artist who Paul spoke about in a press interview saying he loves that song. So she references their relationship again. Okay. You're drinking, I'm drinking. Perez Hilton over here. I know, I'm going to... Wait. Wait. Why was Perez Hilton in the news recently? Because he tried to kill himself on camera.

26:08Oh, God.

26:12Perez Hilton, Keemstar. That whole timing. That whole thing. All the healing for someone who's suffering, but I'm not too buff about that. Whereas over here, we had Crabsticks. Yeah. Dan and Phil. Jack's get out. Kick the PJ. Charlie is so cool. the other guy who we don't mention zoella yeah you know levels levels um but yeah and then i just want to finally say that listening to the album i was reintroduced to a feeling of sadness which happened about for a while and to emotion in general and it's wonderful to be reminded through the medium of music how beautiful it can be so thank you phoebe wherever you are and if anyone could get us into that fucking gig at union chapel i'd do anything yeah we promise not to get our phones out yeah phone in the pouch honey you won't even know we were there i won't put it on any of the burners okay um no i i don't have much to add i've listened to one and a half times i loved it i think it's the only thing with phoebe bridges it's not an insult i don't know why I don't know what makes Phoebe Bridges like it's the writing so good it's the writing it's like the sentimental writing but it's quite everyday like when she's talking about being on a plane being on a plane ride and watching a film about going back in time it's all quite yeah on the nose in many ways yeah and like what's her big song Scott Street feeling like a stranger kind of like she's just writing a letter to someone or she's writing a text to someone sometimes Kind of reminds me of sometimes how what we say we like about Pink Panther is yes they're quite mundane and then They're also incredibly yearnful and I really like sorry something was saying before we started Was that it was annoying in a way or misleading?

28:06That lost boys was the yeah lead single because it made it feel like it was gonna be kind of like Kyoto or like V Bridge's biggest songs. Whereas that was like there is Bobby. Bobby! Banger. When it feels more to me Bon Iver or like Francis and the Lights at times a little bit. And Alex G did it. Alex G, she got all of them. She got all of these fucking old boys. So when I was in Philly with Shamir a couple years ago Shamir was saying that it was happening. they were like writing it's happening they were writing then so I was like oh my god gaggy like Viva Bridges and Alice and then Cameron Wint Cameron Wint the whole album was done and then Lucy Dacus and then Cameron Wint pops and it's like yeah we'll just get you on some BVs if that's alright yeah and what's face Lucy Dacus all our boy genius are on it Bo Burnham's on it who's the other one is that Christian Lee Hudson's on it Maya Hawke does a bit on it as well yeah yeah well because they were together right or are they together now because she was yeah she was bisexual yeah she was with yeah basically um but no i loved it i thought it was really good uh and but i don't really have anything more to say beyond it apart from that i really enjoyed how she came for graceful and i think it's just i think we need more fun a bit of fun it's like i don't think she actually has any real hatred she don't really care do you know what I mean?

29:36It's just fun to write a song about it and it's like it's not distasteful in my opinion like where does this rank among I'm trying to think of other alt beefs like because obviously Saying how you feel out loud is terrifying but that's what Hinge's new free audiobook No Ordinary Love is all about It's a collection of real love stories about five couples that met on Hinge the stories are written and read by temby dintonhurst nicola dinan curtis garner raven smith and rufy thorpe i hunter harris wrote and read the forward the audiobook's out now give it a listen deluded charlie and fk twigs lana and ethel lana and ethel charlie and fk twigs did that is that ever actually like properly confirmed no charlie and lord didn't feel it was cool what they did but i don't know to me it didn't feel like a cardi versus nikki that was that's good throw in the shoe

30:41there's not many uk your disc is almost full baby oh oh oasis blah before our time who cares um but this is up there and gracie you've got 24 Four hours to reply. She won't reply. She won't reply because you ain't got bars. And you just bit Phoebe's whole flow. Sorry. Sorry. Oh, that's not the... Oh, queen. Oh, queen. How was your family holiday? It was lovely. So wholesome. Shout out Joe because she will be listening. Shout out Joe. Did you come in the toilet? No. We... It was just in the bedroom. Did you play Clueda? No. No. I literally sat by a pool. I didn't even finish a book. Sue wasn't caught in the larder.

31:32I was munching and crunching on loads of different snacks, yeah. By the end of it, like, sick of having a sandwich. Like, I just felt like I survived my sandwiches. Pool holiday sandwich. I know, but after a while, it just got on my tits. Bath me. I just want, like, Japanese food after a while. So Bill made us Japanese food last night. Thank God. I'm making paella tonight. Oh. Because I've decided I've got to take charge of my relationship. Oh you're making Pais solo That's a fucking Undertaking it I thought you meant Tag team No I'm doing it Are you Are you doing chicken Or seafood Or I'm doing Both Both What Yeah which Originates from a certain place Can you Save me some leftovers For the Thursday Okay If there No if there's any going Yeah Like obviously There will be loads going So it's full There's only two of us Blink twice if You're being held captive

32:30Is summer Finally too much The fires in the beach There's a fire in London Fields Somebody tried to burn down London Fields Really? Yeah it was Donnie Donnie's Donners tried to burn down London Fields Iris Law Iris Law was caught in a mango but with a Firework and then it like Blew up iris law was caught in london fields using flint to call her mango but the flint sparked and then it set on fire but the flint the flint didn't glint honey so she lumped it the gag at dulston dulston super stoned yeah uh who's doing very well at the moment friend of the friend of the pod i guess i'd actually stop she listens to straight podcasts She listens to Strait She listens to Vin versus Estre Yeah she listens to Who was his face Horatio Gold But she's been very good at like I don't know if you She only talks about you She doesn't talk about me Oh And that's no shade She talks about you all the time She Because I don't think we're like She's nice Roland sends me stories Yeah of her mentioning you Of her mentioning me All the time I can't I can't go through the stories Because they're like They're like 40 long Yeah I think she uses you as an example of People in London like you as an example I'm a stereotype I'm that Australian guy who Verboten intern Whereas realistically in the trans community I'm just like of the least of interest Because I don't do anything That's not me being hard on myself like leave me out of that Oh guys comment down below Guys comment down below Sue your favourite trans person

34:12No I just like I don't Guys come on show up for Sue No that's not what I'm asking leave me alone I'm quite happy with her Vogue Well that was a wild thing about the EHRC thing Not the one that's just happened but when it got announced Last year and then every Every single magazine did editorials On trans women I was getting sent castings Girl I'm not a casting Like I'm a straight ask like you should then go around like casting like 10 they did a few magazines not well let's name them the face did one and the face did one like 10 trans women in london so they messaged me like do you want to do it and i was like yeah go on then like i'll do it and then like the date is this so two days before i text them i was like what's happening on thursday then oh sorry didn't get selected selected honey like what like that feels so reductive also i don't care anyway because the face is dead i fucking yeah well apparently it's back alive it's coming back but like they said that about id and it's not coming back honey i'm sure there's a reason i'm sure there's a reason why but why why that i get offered so many things in front of my fucking nose and half of them are like client went in the different direction sorry and what's the direction oh then why did you tell me surely ask them first yeah do you like this person exactly that's what usually would happen it gets sent to an art director and then the art director before waving the possibility of it.

35:40Also like a free shoot. You're taking candy from a baby. You're taking candy from baby Louie. You can keep the candy, honey. But yes. I've spent too much time on social media the last week. Yeah, get off. My screen time's gone up because I was by the pool just scrolling and listening to music. Music. Oh, I watched Madonna on Howard Stern. I've never watched Howard Stern before. Me neither. And I know he's a very controversial figure, but he's also very, well respected as an interviewer so i thought what's this guy's style yeah he is a bit weird at times for sure he's a bit intense yeah he has this quite dry shtick the curly hair diva yeah i know you mean but i didn't know i didn't know madonna's story like that oh yeah she made it happen it's insane like um her childhood yeah yeah and um her uh her brother early years in new york selling her out in the end yeah crazy um and she's so funny i've never i've never heard a long form interview with her and uh i get what you millennial gays are going on about now jesus i won't say who it is because it's not my story to tell but bill was working with somebody who knows madonna and has worked madonna very closely and we went out for dinner and she was genuinely like i've never seen another creative sing someone also praises so much like in the most beautiful way like she was like madonna doesn't play around if you're on like madonna's team like madonna like rides for you heavy like she's like they're the like the best if you were madonna people who work with madonna for like the tours and whatever they're the most paid than any of her artists like she's she like looks after you before every show she'll like come up to you and ask she did claim well yeah she was saying that she really shares her wealth around yeah yeah and she but she comes up to every single person on the crew yeah for each show right and is like are you okay today like what's whereas you can't even talk to your own fucking manager yeah i'm like don't look at me well i can i'm just weird like before a show like i'm like once we start making some money though yeah oh yeah babe is everyone okay gag it okay great um no but apparently she's like amazing like she's a proper like she is so wonderful which is why it's even easier for me to say that i thought her album was absolute shite I just Haven't just gone back to it Like it was like fine It was listenable I enjoyed it When it was on If people play it Like it's great But Because I respect her so much As a person And an artist Um Innocent No I'm not gonna say that Okay I'm not gonna say that I'm not gonna dog it Already dogged enough To stop being negative Your mum listened to your EP My mum My mum's My mum's in Bulgaria right now On her own And she texted me And she was like Finally listened Loser Not even Yeah literally finally listened to your EP really loved it I was like oh that's so nice should be top of the charts she's alright yeah and I was like oh that's really nice and that's something funny to post on my story what kind of music is your mum into?

38:37my mum's into like so when we were growing older she used to have like Acid House and a CD in her car Acid House CDs yeah I remember when I was with my ex-boyfriend not the awful one but the just like sad one he I was like talking about Acid House and I grew up on Acid House and like one of the most famous Acid House songs is jack your body by steve silk curly right love that song that's one song that really reminds me of my mom and i was like oh yeah acid house and i like referenced that song and he was like that's not acid house and do you know when like a boy tries to do oh no he said that's not house and i said yes it is that's how the house he's like no it's not and i was like pull up an acid house playlist and guess what was the first song honey i thought fuck you and i remember he sat there and i was like and what what were you trying to prove there that i was like stupid like also like did Speaking about a genre that doesn't, you don't know.

39:24Could he do it with a rice smile? No, no, yeah. It was like really condescending. I was like, fucking pull it up. That's probably why I broke off me. I know what you mean, but you're actually sweetie. Yeah, I was like, baby, I know Acid House, honey. So we go, listen to that a lot, listen to load of poop. So your mom got really, really drunk at like M25 raves when she was - Well, it's like funny because I say this to my mom and I'm like, mom, if you listen to Acid House, you must have been at the gay clubs, honey. Like you must have known so many gay people. And she was like, maybe. like she just kind of didn't question and it's the same thing as when i was like gay when i was younger like my mom just never even thought it was a possibility not because she doesn't believe that gay people exist whatever but she like she just doesn't see that she doesn't see yeah i think acid house was so huge i mean yeah it got like late 80s early 90s but she was like raves and stuff yeah and but like you know i think in a way that would be shocking to us now like the amount I mean, there's almost too many documentaries about it.

40:24It's a bit like, can we talk about something else? Yeah, yeah, sure. Like fucking people taking pingers and the M25. But it did seem like there were fucking thousands of people listening to that music. I mean, it is amazing. Now this is how it started. So when are you going to make an Acid House tune? I know. It's true. I do think about it often. It's there for you when you're ready. Yeah. Got everything through first. So yeah, listen to good music. What about you? You listen to good music though because your dad was in it. Because my dad was in it, yeah. Wait, what do you mean, what about you?

40:54What was the question that I asked you? What you got brought up on. Oh, well, I always say that I think that I always like to ask people how much their music taste they think is down to their parents. Because I often feel like my music taste was a bit of a rebellion against my parents' music taste when I was a teenager. and then as you get older you kind of start to realize that your parents were maybe yeah or you're just nostalgic for a time when your family wasn't completely uh fucked yeah i i think i was like similar why i started to like share well and really made like pop stuff could made pop stuff is like the time my dad was really into like things like kaiser chiefs and stuff like that and i like really i used to hate it like i used to like have headphones always in the car just Just like all of that, like group of like musicians, like all like, yeah, it just didn't deeply move me.

41:50Northern Ladrock. My dad had Pan B in the car. Kasabian? Not really too much. It was a lot of like Kaiser Chiefs, Arctic Monkeys, Arrow World Against. Who? Franz Ferdinand? Loads of that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Killers. Yeah, all of that. All of those lot, like that was kind of what. And then there was just like some rogue pulls. Like my family did not play about Emily Sandé. At all Like honey First two albums You love Emily Sunday Love Emily Sunday I will fight for her And I'll just let's be And shout out Emily Sunday Really? Yeah, Leza But she is amazing I love her First two albums are genuinely Like no fucking skit Really For me Like every word And CeeLo Green The Lady Killer Can you remember?

42:33It's alright It's alright It's alright

42:42It's alright At least I can do is try. I want you to be more satisfied. And then Wildflower. Open up. Let me see. Oh, here it is. And I want you to genuinely leave on me too. Yes. Oh, that will be listening to today. Oh, so good. My mum was. Bright Lights, Bigger City, crazy. My mum was on proper, like, Radio 2 music. Elbow and key. My dad used to do elbow and karaoke. Obviously, the big one. Throw those curtains. But the instrumental in between, and everyone's just sat there like this. It's mortifying. I weirdly watched it. Oh, it's mortifying. It's a very old ladies choir song, that one. Yeah.

43:40With a big golden retriever in the middle. I just find, like, Guy Garvey is. like guy garvey is meant to listen to with a pint in hand i feel and i think if you don't have a pint in hand unfortunately like doesn't hit the same in hebden bridge yes yes in some like recreational ground do you know what i mean um but no my mom was listening my mom loves bruce springsteen elbow james taylor okay were you pauli natini family no we were really and then when he did that album that his latest album which was like almost like a very big turn for him it was really i loved that it was really big for the crickens no it was really big for me like i was like because i would like listen to him and like everyone like would listen to him but when the album came out i was like oh this is amazing i never told you i loved you but also you were listening to xl when you were 16 17 oh my god that and that was like my big like 180 that was like they have no idea who this is uh but that was like my own little that felt like a secret that only I knew and then it moves along and I was like, oh, everyone knows this.

44:42And similarly, no one, everyone in my family hates dance music. I got quite bullied by my brother, in fact, for liking dance music. He was like, stupid. Well. And he was like, you'd like it just because you're extremely drunk. I was like, no, I'm actually enough of a loser that I really like at home. No, I'm actually on drugs. Oh, sorry, Sophie. Oh, sorry, Queen.

45:06okay. I'm also going to the Edinburgh Fringe on Sunday, so wish me luck because there's going to be I'm going to meet some absolutely awful people there but it's going to be fun and I might stop referencing your brother I might turn into one of those pricks yeah you'll come back like Richard Gad you'd be Richard Gad Richard Gad who's Richard Gad saying how you feel out loud is terrifying but that's what Hinge's new free audiobook No Ordinary Love is all about it's a collection of real love stories about five couples that met on Hinge. The stories are written and read by Tembi Dintonhurst, Nicola Dinan, Curtis Garner, Raven Smith, and Rufy Thorpe.

45:47I, Hunter Harris, wrote and read the foreword. The audiobook's out now. Give it a listen.

45:56Baby reindeer, that's what he did. Richard Gad, these nuts in your mouth. Oh, he's the baby reindeer guy. Is Jack Shep up that, or has he already done his thing? I think he did one show. I think Patty shows up there. Patty? Harrison. Oh! Oh. She just did it in Soho and we missed it because we were at the spa. Oh, wow. Okay. So she's up there. So she'll go see her. I'll try and jam pack as much stuff. Get down to Pleasant's Courtyard. I honestly don't know I don't know Fringe at all. And I'm really like no, no offense. Happy. Also, Lolliade Faux Pay in O'Mary. Did you see that? I saw she was in something but I have no idea what that is.

46:33We have to go together. What is O'Mary? It's really hard to explain. I know gays have listened there's a gay who's listened to this on a bus just asked just stopped the bus and had to get off it's basically this play by Cola Scola made famous by Cola Scola and loads of people have come in so like Catherine Tate has done it here is it Mason has done it Mason Ramsey and who Cole's doing it a very short run right now and who's replacing Cole is Lolly and I think that's so fucking fierce Shout out Lolly, love that girl Early friend of the pod Early friend of the pod, she's a real one Love her so much We were all trying to go for a drink and we just never went Yeah That would have been funny, me, you her and Jack Shep, that would have gone off.

47:26Pictured in South Bermondsey in 2024 and then it would have got shown in some sort of Instagram archive page in 20 years What would have been, honey? Should we do... We have two DMs. Oh, wait, one thing. Yeah. Sorry. The only sound that's appropriate... So in the last week, in two different situations, someone has walked in on me having a shit in a public toilet. Oh, that's really peak. And the only sound that is appropriate to make is, oh! Yeah, that's literally it. Oh! Yeah. Sorry Oh There's nothing else you can go There's no way You can't go No no no no no no no no Yeah it literally is Oh that is me Or you can't go Oh sorry Hello Yeah Come in Hello But I just wanted to check with you Girl lock that door honey Both locks didn't work Actually no the second one was me It was in the dusty knuckle And I fucked up I actually did write this in my notes The other day Not necessarily talk about straight leaver But now that we've had it I hate when you go somewhere So for example the villa we were staying at in Italy, none of the locks on the bathroom doors worked.

48:41One door didn't properly close and the lock on the downstairs one didn't work. Those bloody foreign countries don't put a fucking lock on their fucking toilet. Do you know how easy it is to put a lock on a door? Like, it drives me insane. Like, I hate when people... Even when you go around people's houses and the door doesn't lock. Should we do a video where we try and put a lock on a door? I think that's... Yeah. Yeah. Yeah? All right. How many podcasters does it take to put a lock on a door? Do you have a lock on your doors? Yeah but I never lock them That's why people are walking in on me No no no no in my own house Yeah that's what I mean you never lock them Oh I do I always do well maybe not When it's just you and Bill Well no actually You big freak Yeah I do The only time I do it is when I'm like lip syncing in the mirror When I'm lip syncing yeah I love talking I love rehearsing a conversation before it happens Honestly I've had like I actually can't watch St.

49:28Loew interviews anymore I couldn't watch the Charlie one I couldn't watch it I've warmed up to him if anything I don't really watch him that much but if anything I find him more tolerable. Fully off him to like Yeah you need you need time away from Zayn to come back and appreciate him. Sorry Zayn. I do love you Zayn. He is a net positive. No he is he's a very positive human being. Unlike that fucking red haired freak who who won't be named. Red haired freak. No. You're really not clucking? Quack it! Red haired freak. Interviewer? Yeah. DJ. the whole audience is there red haired freak oh right yeah gag it

50:16I'm not going to say who it is but if she's listening no you can say it she posted about it so I can't remember what initials are in her name now TTSSFU has been hounding a radio DJ and she put it on her stories and it makes me laugh so fucking much because she's obviously making the rounds and like probably rising up and like yeah that would be and she's just like this one radio dj bothering him and i think it's so fucking funny she did put it on her story right we're allowed to say that yeah i don't know if it's close friends or her story she makes me laugh so much i'm obsessed with her we need her on the pod we need her on the pod when she coming on the pod she'll listen to this when are you coming on the pod hun but zane lo loving hun saying hun just hun yeah when you're coming on hun um what do i love that's jess's fault to be fair shout out to jess shout out to jess uh are we doing anything else yeah i have two i have two hey sue and lou i am getting straight married next year i'm surprised but pleased love that man down i've got a lot of familial pressure to have a big one and you know what i love throwing parties for my friends and my mom is a fucking handful so i'll do it but how do i overcome the fact that being a bride in quotation marks is cringe and millennial i'm not even millennial but they've had the monopoly of weddings for so long equally i'm not sure i want to be zoomer buzzball line bike brat themed wedding in essence please as straight divas have you got any ideas for my wedding to be another straight diva my husband to be thank you and louis you seem to have a lot of baggage about the odyssey episode i think it was very insightful from bill and very funny from sue you stared it masterfully long cyclops cocky is my brain forever now and so grateful to you both and your analysis on one of the classics love you don't say their name because they have to say the name thank you thank you gorgeous also congratulations to getting married that's so fierce yeah i was actually gonna tell you to shut the fuck up before you said a really nice thing about me but um it's being a bride is cringe a millennial do you know what maybe it's i understand what you're saying i i understand what you're saying but what i would like to say is like let's strip it all back and just go down to the lure of it because when i get married for example like it's going to be the most simpleton wedding ever it's going to be so simple days as in it's going to be four simpletons because it's going to be an okay and hello yeah no like it'll be the opposite of that like i just want to get married at a town hall doesn't matter which one maybe not hackney that's okay um but like and like not be like lying by key and then we'll get a car to a place we rented out and that's kind of going to be it like that's what i want to do i really i just like strip it down to like how you want to do it and fair dues if people want a big party but like just get over the cringe of it it's like when you first start posting tiktoks just have to lean in lean into the cringe it's not the same as like when you started it's like when you like you just have to lean into it will i be walking down the aisle of bridesmaids absolutely not when i go down the aisle will i be walking down be like not me walking down the aisle probably yeah you have to start with a strong hook first three seconds yeah yeah going black gaga like i'd be like i'd be like stimming down the aisle honey Like there's no way I'm being serious down the aisle.

53:24It's so fucking embarrassing. Nobody else can film. Only you're allowed to film. It's really embarrassing. It is. No, everyone can film. Get your phone out, hon. I don't give a fuck. Yeah. If you're doing no social media at your wedding. Come on. No photos. You're not that famous. No photos. Everyone should take photos. Let people take their photos. I want like a small wedding. And then I just want like a big party where it's free bar. That's what I will say to you. It has to be a free bar. That's the only thing I will say. make that bar free don't put it in fucking France unless you're gonna like pay for everyone to be in France I think that the only thing you need to offer is a free bar everyone won't care about anything else bar it being on location, location, location I think just make that bar free and don't do like we put a thousand pounds behind the bar make the bar free save up so it's free all night I hate paying for drinks at weddings it's embarrassing yeah but it's so expensive i mean i don't care like okay so much on like a wedding dress girl fuck the wedding dress go get a white dress from agree with you h &m and pop down and make that bar free honey i just think it's crazy and then they ask for money after it and i've been paying for drinks all night there's your money yeah no i agree and i think maybe we don't need the wedding photographer because they're so expensive and yeah i'll do it i iphone pictures better i literally yeah iphone pics better and we'll probably trend more on tiktok yeah it's gonna do better in my carousel yeah yeah so you've thought about that and i'll do it this way so it's chic yeah i was doing that last week no one cares about me doing that i was copying america corban who's a friend and i love her so much she's one of my besties and she was doing it horizontal for listeners yeah doing taking stories horizontally she does it and she's really big on tiktok and instagram and she does that amazing styling work and she does it and it's so chic because she is really chic.

55:18I'm not a chic bitch. I'm meant to be talking on Instagram and saying stupid shit. You need to know your market. My market is being stupid. No, don't do yourself like that. No, but it is like, I don't want to ever be like, I like did it for a week and like no one watched my stories. It is ridiculous how - Oh, that was nice. It is ridiculous how that's such a like a punk move is to like make your Instagram post horizontal yeah and when you do carousels on tiktok horizontal oh america you got a swollen chokehold honey it's like that's everyone go follow america with with three k's for the obvious reason is it joking oh i was making a koo pox clan joke oh that's horrible um wait but also sorry final statement on that for uh sarah that's not her real name um get over yourself a bit make you can make a wedding not cringe because you can make it whatever you want it to be and um this could be the best day of life even if you split up this person it will be like just it's gonna be great on you like don't think about other people like if your mom wants to be party tell the fuck off if you don't like yeah and if mom's wanting to invite fucking her second cousin you're gonna get your cousin you're gonna go get your cousin you're gonna go get a free bar you're gonna get a fucking wedding photographer yeah that's the thing you need to get a free bar and that's it and we'll come Do you want us to come?

56:40We'll go Yes We'll come We'll get a vape To sponsor the party Unless it's expensive And like if it costs Yeah unless there's not Per head Do you know when it's like Oh we have to pay this many people Like per head Like don't pay for us Like we'll come to the party Yeah should we do weddings? Should we Yeah Get paid to do PAs Like we'll emcee Maybe Right No I love you And good luck Patrons will be first to hear about that If it happens obviously Hiya, angels. I'm in need of some advice. I've been on dating apps for almost a year and I've been on many dates, but nothing has stuck. I'm still a virgin, which concerns me slightly as I feel like this makes me feel not gay enough in the LGBTQ plus community, which is microscopic where I live.

57:27I have a small queer friend group who are really supportive and they are always reminding me that my person is coming but honestly I just don't feel like it's going to happen not to brag but I have a fucking angelic fashion and beautiful soul I just want to meet someone who I can share my time with full for and fuck what should I do divas please send help please keep me anonymous also BTW the pod it's not finished Louis BTW the pod is so fierce it's so superior means a lot to me oh I love you thank you for listening how old are you? oh baby Thank you for your message, Lagoon Fem Shamer. Yeah. Thank you for your message, Wide Load Pod.

58:06Okay, no. Thank you for your really sweet message. Okay. So my initial reaction, you're 19. You will. And when you're 19, because it was my favourite age that I've ever been ever, I enjoyed 19 so much, you're the oldest you'll ever feel at that moment, right? No, you are though. like you it's a gag like you're only as old as you are and this is not me being condescending you have time babe and you're on you're in a rural coastal town is your plan i don't know are you planning to leave that coastal town or are you going to say that that's okay if you're going to stay there but maybe you need to put like if you are in apps maybe put your distance further out um to find someone in the local area that's what i used to do when i used to live in derby um but alternatively you will meet your person like that it goes without saying and it's also awful to hear that and to say that someone but they are coming it will happen in regards to sex sorry i know i'm going on but no no no in regards to sex what i will say hunt i think there'll be there's a few people that will be like just get it over with it's nothing and realistically let's get this right virginity is a straight ideology that was created by men to make women a commodity yeah and pure being a commodity that they're untouched like never been like that is not for weirdos it's for fucking it was for nonce weirdos nonce weirdos and so that's fucked but basically i understand that you wanted to get a shag and be comfortable with someone and fuck right but i will say someone that rushed the fuck out of it it doesn't make you feel i remember when i lost opportunity like 14 i remember after it being like yeah i just remember being like that was quite distressing and i feel no different and then i didn't really start having good sex until i was like 19 in honesty but that's five years of like me shagging people mind you and what what do you think do you think you would have done anything differently or i wouldn't done it right really yeah i wouldn't have done it um i uh it's not that i wouldn't have done it because i had to do it and i i think it gained me everything but sorry sophie's sophie's just doing nothing but she yeah i i yeah i perhaps wouldn't have done it so well no i was doing it some regrets i'll tell you what i i was doing it for i don't regret anything but i was doing it for the bit i was doing it for the story i was doing it for the pod well i was doing it for like to tell my girls at school i was just doing it because i could like it was weird like i was I was everybody else's reaction I lived for reaction at that point in my life because I was young but you still do yeah and I still do anyway but I yeah just don't rush it you'll find someone it's cool like yeah I understand that the apps feel like your universe at the minute but perhaps if you would you be up for moving somewhere that's also not that or also so many people move in and out of towns all the time and just keep your friends close has your do your friends know anyone or like you know just keep your options open and time will come also take note of like where you are you're like in a coastal town you know who people come in the summer you never know who you could be coming in the summer honey but like never know what should she say that about the kisses is that weird she doesn't care she presses send this is the love story of real hinge couple daniel and roisin written and read by me rufy thorpe listen to the free audiobook now Andy Burnham's got fucking up his sleeve with levelling up Okay Just don't rush it It will come, babe Don't stress You're beautiful and thank you for this It's coming, it's coming, it's coming Don't rush me, baby It's duh Okay, now you can hear from the actual virgin Okay, now it's a popular girl Was trying to make you feel Oh no, it'll come Okay, I was actually there Because I was a virgin until I was 18 and it sucked because you feel like a loser.

1:02:12But in retrospect, I would say that, yeah, I would echo what you say. Most of my people, most of my people, most of my peoples who lost their virginity early generally describe it as not a great experience. So that's one thing to think about is that most teenage sexual experiences, This is less than like in a relationship, but pretty shit anyway. You're 19. It's actually like you may feel like, yeah, you're old and this is the oldest you've ever been, but you're 19 and you're gay in a tiny coastal town. So you just got to think from a statistics perspective right now, you're not getting many shots, okay?

1:02:54And you need to get shots. So you need to move your dating application just for a laugh to Dalston. and just see what's out there or to Friedrichshain, Neukölln, you know, or to Brighton or to... Or could you go on a night out? Fallowfield, Hyde Park, Newcastle. Get a travel lodge somewhere with your mate. Glasgow. No, seriously, go get a travel lodge at like a gayer town and just go out and see whether you can kiss someone and get a bit of action on. You never know. That's how people used to do it in the old days when they weren't apps. You used to go to like, You have to go out of different cities.

1:03:32Find your Mercury girl in a small northern town. But yeah, I think... I feel like we've had sort of a similar question to this in a few different ways. And we usually say, if you have the means to, especially if you're queer, try as much as you can to move to a different place. Because, I mean, even if you're straight as well, like i feel like if you're a young person it's it's very important to get out of the place where you grew up uh if you can if you can and if you can't i would suggest perhaps do a weekend somewhere like genuinely do a weekend down in london go like even going to fucking superstore just to meet more queer people and see like yeah because you can meet someone there and do long distance long distance does work guys yeah it does work a movie dating app around like yeah explore the world through your your fingertips and um and get online i guess but but yeah don't just don't deep it babes yeah just don't be hard on yourself don't be hard on yourself because it um don't be so hard on yourself and i really i really disagree with the yeah just shag for the sake like yeah don't do it like it won't make you feel amazing unless you want to do it and then do it shag some like 40 year old loser in Belushi's or something.

1:04:50That's the thing. You just go wank off like someone older than you and it's just like long. And yeah. You're 19. Sorry. Don't want to patch your nose. Don't want to sound like your mum. You've got this. We're 43 and we're doing okay. We're fine. It does work out in time. It does. It'll all work get better in time. Work out of time for all of you. If I'm gonna live without you.
