In short
The hosts discuss micro-influencer “morals,” fame without money, and how people weaponize outrage; they also swap explicit sex/health takes (finasteride, orgasm timing, “glassy” bottoming pain). They then tell a “tragic holiday romance” story from Mexico and answer an agony-advice question about a friend allegedly cheating.
Guests/backgrounds
No named guests. The episode is hosted by Straight Diva (two hosts speaking throughout). One story is told by a host about a Mexico trip; another segment references “Shoshi” (an Irish autism diagnosis influencer) and public figures like Kate King, Jala, and Katie Price.
Key claims
Finasteride side effects are overstated; blood tests and donation rules affect queer participation. Outrage should not be aimed at the individual influencer when the system/healthcare context is the issue. Holiday romance choices can be shaped by distance, loneliness, and lowered standards.
Notable examples
All Points East festival debates (Lorde, PinkPantheress, Audrey Nuna, Joe Keery); Shoshi’s autism diagnosis via brand deal; the Mexico hinge date “Moona” who brings a French guy, then later cancels dinner due to her abusive ex-boyfriend’s suicide attempt.

Straight Diva are launching a study into the relationship between men the point at which men's hairline starts receding and when men say I think I'm ready to settle down yeah it's giving bold I think it should be earlier than it is currently the age at which you lose your hair or the age at which one settles down I think you could be bold in the rave You don't have to be like settled down But I think you should like Know when to shave it off I've got blood tests Results coming back today What for? To see if I'm eligible to take finasteride Baby you're eligible I can give you the link I take it Yeah but they just said I had to get a blood test I've never had a blood test Oh I hate them Blood test?
0:55Yeah I think they're awful What will they just take your blood? You can put whatever you want in me, but taking it away really annoys me. Really? Yeah, it's really strange. Taking away what? I think I was. Don't take that away. Taking away what? Your V card? No, I can have that. It's gone. Your bum all. My bum all. My bum all. No, my blood. I just hate them taking blood out. I feel like I can feel it. I'm a really sensitive girl. So you won't be doing any partnerships? Injections, like, have it. Like, have it. You won't be doing any partnerships with Donate Blood anytime soon? No, because they didn't let gays donate until a couple of years ago.
1:30And I just think I'm not in the sense that I'm still standing on that hill. Is that part of your opinion or is it yours is just personal? You've got to let it go. And I'm like, no. So the funny thing is, no. Fuck the system, actually. The system says I wasn't meant to be in it until a couple of years ago when you're begging it now from me. I think that's rude. Fuck the police. An op is an op. And I remember, I grew up, when I was a teenager, I was told that gays weren't allowed to give blood. So I grew up in a time where gays weren't allowed to give blood. I'm gay as fuck. You were othered. And we mustn't other each other.
2:06No, come on then. I didn't know that finasteride makes it harder to cum. Oh, girls, let's leave it be. Right, finasteride, it barely does anything. Truth be told. Side effect or main effect? I've been on, there's barely any. I went on a finasteride and felt nothing, no different. Testosterone blockers, oh honey, it's going to take a while to come and when you come, nothing comes out. When people are like, it's going to really affect my mood or anything. Girl, it's like a pill for girls. Do you know when people are like, men taking finasteride, everyone's like, oh my God, what's it going to do to me?
2:40Girls, the girls have been taking pills since they were 14. Take the finasteride, keep your bar on it. Fuck me. It does nothing. It barely does anything. Okay, great. And if it does take you longer to come, longer session. Isn't that lovely? Yeah, but if anything, I sort of need to bring my time down slightly. Is it? Yeah, I think it takes me about... Three minutes. And it could be a minute and a half. No, like 10, 15. Okay. Which is maybe good. I think that's nice. I think sometimes when you have sex and you're not in the mood, but like sometimes it can just feel a bit glassy like a bit painful like bottoming and sometimes when someone's trying to come great yeah it's real there's no other feeling for it than when like you know the gays all know like if you get like finger door like you're kind of like not mentally in the mood for bottoming and then it kind of feels like glassy there's like a little glassy sharp pain to it and after a while i think 10 or 15 minutes of that i'd be like please stop sorry is glassy positive or negative okay as in it literally feels like it's not enough yet i can't feel sharp i heard it yeah it feels sharp like and i okay and i saw it described as glassy the other day on tiktok by like a sexual health talker and i was like oh my god that's so true like the word is glassy initially i thought it was like sort of energizing or something Oh, it's that kind of, yeah, it's classy, girl.
4:07No, it kind of just feels like sharp. Okay. Yeah, can we just check we are recording? Yes, yes, yes, absolutely. Sorry, guys, we were having a few technical difficulties just for starters. Does everybody... Does everyone gag? Yeah, guys, we're sorry about audio issues today. Hello. We've got a little bit of a hiss. Just turn me up a tiny bit. You're an input speaker. Hello. That's better. We might have a hiss on Sue's channel just because we're having some cable. Cabling issues. Cabling issues. Does anybody with a penis not take the perfect amount of time to come? I feel like everyone is either premature or they kind of have to work for it.
4:51Yeah. It's hard. Thanks.
4:59How was your weekend? Yeah, my granddad's birthday was great. He turned 80, which is lovely. And we got him up on the big screen. We went to see the tics. It was lovely. The tics? Yeah, how was tics-oriented? Yeah, it was great. It was fab. We lost. But my first football game, it was just amazing to see people really care. People screaming at the ref. I loved it. Bill did it a little bit. My grandad was doing it. Were they calling him fat and bald? Over here! Over here! Girl, you're not playing. But I went with my Chanel ballet flats on. Yeah. and I was scared to go to the bathroom but I did it you did it?
5:39yeah I feel like that's the type of place where I get followed in by a bunch of lads saying I was a man and? no one did because I went there with my sister so I was like puffing my little A cups out I was like well maybe we do live in a utopian society then maybe Britain really is a great place to live I had fun I did have fun then we had fish and chips then we just went home did men screaming at the football and screaming at the ref feel dystopian or fun no it's like fun like it's like fun to watch because it's not even like anger it's just like an input like there was a guy in front who's like not a family friend but like my granddad's got a season ticket so the person in front of them that's got a season ticket um and they were all just kind of like talking yeah it was fun it was lots of fun and then like people when they scored the second goal it was very much like people were like, I'm leaving now because I can't bear to watch it.
6:33And people were going before the game finished, like half an hour before. And I was like, wow. Well, it wasn't like a packed game, but we lost to Leighton Orient, which is funny because it's just down the road. It is just down the road. It's an East London club. Yeah. It's sort of a club that I briefly flirted with supporting because it's too hard to see Liverpool play. Yeah. And it's too expensive and they're so far away. And I think a lot of people sort of go down that pipeline. but were you shouting at the ref were you no when they were like nearly scoring i but oh it's like a bit of that did you were you getting bored during because it's quite a long time for you to be sat without talking or are you sort of no i was like talking we were like chatting and then my your granddad's chatty at the game or he's sort of like we were all just having a chat really okay but i'd go to more yeah i would go to more okay but like like i think if was like a really busy day i think it would like through me it was like quite there was a lot of people there but like it was like i think it was like ramo'd like it'd be quite stressful but i didn't realize you couldn't take drinks on a stand so rather than to like down pints it was crazy did you get any did you get any cute pictures at the um i didn't know at the brick stadium it's called like the brick it was fit how was your weekend at all points west all points east was good um i almost said to you off air i didn't finish my point that um it makes me feel like a bit of a prick it makes me feel slightly sad and it also makes me feel like a bit of a prick because there are so many people there like young people who i don't know i was maybe projecting or painting a stereotype but they don't seem like they're from london necessarily yeah they're quite young they don't feel like it doesn't feel like they maybe go to loads of gigs which would fit with that sort of theory that like most most of normal people casual music fans will go to like two or three gigs a year and yeah big yeah big shows yeah yeah um i mean it was a stacked lineup to be fair it was a fucking stacked lineup i didn't really realize until i was there that holy shit this is everyone was there everyone was there but simultaneously so cute seeing all these very young people having an amazing time and simultaneously I'm like this is just like this is not good enough like it's just it's way oversold and like Pink Pantherous you couldn't see unless you were there way way way before I don't know what it is with Pink was there like two main stages or was she on the smaller stage she should have been on a bigger stage she was in an arena I don't know whether they do it to make it look like bigger but like it was the same with Pink Pampras in Prima because they put her on the Cupra stage I have a theory which I love I have a theory that it's her request but she complained because she said on the stage they should have put me on a bigger stage and they should have I can't believe respectfully I love Ethel Kane damn but Ethel Kane should have been on the Cupra Pink Panther should have been on the main I guess Pink Panther suits like an interior stage because it's like club tie it's dance i don't know but it's pink panther she's too big now well i agree and that's that's what made me angry but i wouldn't be surprised if even though she complained on stage she's requesting it because i saw her at glastonbury it was the same thing it was like it was it was i've only ever seen her play tense and at coachella the videos of her it was like it was definitely a dark place yeah yeah and maybe it's her request to suit the music But anyway, it was annoying how you just couldn't see her.
10:11Did you go stateside? She did go stateside. She looked amazing. I watched on the ground outside. I watched her on the screen. She was great. I didn't get to see much because I was working. I was twerking. But yeah, it's just too busy. It's fucking expensive. Although I guess the lineup is crazy, but you can't see. Yeah. You can only see a third of the lineup if you wanted to. And so much of All Points East is rushing between stages. And then you're like on the, and you're kind of just on the periphery of something. Yeah. But, you know, they put on a good show. It was an amazing lineup.
10:55And people, it was very cute seeing all these young music fans. Gaggy eyes. Lorde was incredible. Yeah, I know. Everyone I've spoken to has said that. The show is incredible. The production is incredible. the camera there's this amazing camera angle where she's it's in it's in the ground looking up at her and there's like a hole in the ground and she's like pressing her cheek up against the the glass um i as you may or may not know i'm not my lord bag not deep at all yeah yeah i tried doing my lord homework before and i was kind of like i hear this too i love boring piano ballads too many boring pianos and then i saw her live and i was like it's really good she's really really good um i forget i've seen her there's so many artists that i'm like oh god i'd love to see them and i was like oh i did do you know what i mean like where did you see her uh where did i see i saw solar power tour at roundhouse wow so which was beautiful actually this is an album i wrote about where i came from a little place called new zealand and it was like this like moving structure thing it was amazing i mean she's so famous i feel like so i think would have um did you see anyone else sat well on that lineup oh yeah see there was rose played rose gray played i saw rose gray from afar i was doing interviews while she was on but occasionally heard her belting and she did she she taught she's not wrong she can really sing yeah yeah she can really really sing an account played did you see an account i didn't see an account i didn't even know she was playing she's playing uh i saw audrey hobart yeah it was fucking sick fab she is just taylor swift for cool people yeah yeah yeah but she's she can she can write her she can do it and she looked incredible she came out in this big trench right big trench and fab sunglasses and yeah she rocked it she was probably the best thing i saw Actually no, Lord was great Lord's production was just Crazy Some of the budgets for these shows Must be crazy And that was one thing that made me feel like Maybe the ticket is worth the price Like Pink Panther is a show The budget is incredible Zara's budget is insane But yeah, Sue I think would have belonged Would have sat nicely on the line-up On the rising stage I don't even know who played Sorry?
13:23I don't even know who else played Um ML Book played Oh fun, that's crazy But like I love her, she's one of my favourites obviously But like she was not asked about being there She did not bring any band Yeah yeah yeah, oh really yeah She said I'm here She was pressing buttons on her mostly electronic Instrumental tracks and just kind of going And you know what? Fair enough Get the all pointies back But But unless you're like a big star at all points east, I feel like maybe some people there aren't. Are over love. But it was the day of the girls and Joe Keery. Joe Keery was there. I don't know who Joe Keery is.
14:05Joe Keery is D-J-O. He, it was in Stranger Things. Oh, when I'm back in Chicago, I feel it. Does anybody know any other song? I don't know, but that song is so huge. Everyone's like, I love it. it's like um alex warren with ordinary it's just like does he sing anything now and it feels like to me just a rip off of steve lacy's bad habits oh a little bit in a sense um met some lovely lovely people there was one girl who i can't remember the name of who i should remember the name of because she sent a picture of us um but she was actually it's better i don't remember her name because she was really high on mushrooms oh bless her and she was like i've never had someone come up to me and like seem emotional to meet me like she was almost I don't want to presume anything it felt like she was on the verge of tears and I was like whoa cool cry but then I realised she was just kind of tripping yeah yeah but yeah All Point East was All Point East gorgeous we we could do tragic holiday romances today so okay is there anything i haven't asked you if there's anything you want to cover this week not really i've like i'm really where are you at where are you at this week i feel fragile i got a lot of work on a lot of things on yeah let's do a mtb check-in my adhd med is currently kicking in and i'm like oh i took my first l vance ever oh yeah how was it i don't know if i should say that on a just don't say who got it from well yeah but is it a great example to say but anyway you should get diagnosed by a health professional professional who by the way what's her name shoshi shoshi i'm gonna come out and say this oh my god because i think it's crazy so you sent me shoshi yeah who i now recognize and i have definitely seen but i was like who the is shoshi because you were like her fans are coming for her because she did a what are you because she's in ireland she did an autism diagnosis but like sponcon like it was like a trade like she did it was like paid for but it was a brand deal essentially so she got an autism diagnosis through a brand deal yeah and i sent it louis and i was like oh green because i was like um though i wouldn't do that i absolutely would do that like it's a shame that like you know private clinics doing that but then is it like if someone think if you think you're autistic everyone else calling you autistic and it's almost like do you want me to check whether you're autistic for free if you just share my clinic well and it's just like i don't know about the healthcare system in ireland but in the uk it takes two years to get or like longer to get an autism uh to get to get a diagnosis yeah it's not show she's fault if the waiting time is crazy and then more so it's just like obviously like putting like actual genuine tragedies aside like or genocides around the world like why are we why should shoshi be like the sort of moralist role model well she's not also like what i love about shoshi she's interested in fashion and she just buys yeah the most fast fashion boutique it's like i think it's really interesting especially with like people like choshi kate king even like jalal and stuff like when people then looked to them to be the perfect human even though that they're like liked for not being so like or like they do something and then it's like oh gone you've gone too far and it's like but the whole thing is going too far yeah and then and then they're not pr trained they're not yeah and they are just like regular people who we like made successful yeah they're not i hope this isn't insulting they're not none of those people are meant to be famous they're not cookie cutter yeah celebrity material and also i mean it's like i say this all the time and i'll say this to bill but like the thought of being i like this is the thing that i find so interesting about influencing tiktok and stuff like that to be famous and to not have anything from it bar like you know tips from instagram live or tiktok live that is hell i think i think fame only works if you like have success in a sense of like a job and a life and like you're also famous like actors musicians where like you know they're known and they're also paid so they can live normally being famous and not having like a streak of income is i genuinely think like the worst thing in the world in my opinion like i see it happen and like even the same of like even jala i'm using janelle as an example i mean she's pretty happy she's just flying here though and everywhere and she seems pretty happy but i think there is a thing with jillow where it's like jillow is so known around like london and around the uk i'd say even the us everyone's saying that they're known in the us too global but it is the same and it's the same like show she works like they're not making mad money and like even show she's saying she's making money the money that she uses an example compared to an influencer who's also known as much as she is and they're getting like thousands show she gets like a nice it'll be a bit of money but like to be that famous and not make money i mean to be honest you could use kate king as an example to be that famous and to not really make any money because she doesn't do brand deals or whatever it i just think is like oh i would just hate that i think i just would hate it like because it's just kind of like and i'm not saying you need to monetize everything but like ultimately that fame is what your job is but that fame is not paying you money bar you begging on instagram or tiktok live um and that's i think it's like this like weird almost like black mirror world that we're in that we've all kind of like accepted that there are these people that are like can you remember that girl i mean i think i mentioned her before i can't remember her name but she got a boob job she was the first person to get a boob job on the nhs and the media rinsed up for years they rinsed her and she tried to get jobs and like the last media round that she went through like she tried to get a job at hair salon and people found out where she was working and they came and they were like and they were like knocking on the windows and shit and complaining and like reviewing the hair salon bad until she got fired it's like we are in black mirror i always think about that episode about the one the woman who killed the baby but we don't find out until the end and she's waking up and everyone's looking at her yeah she's doing her everyday life and people like chasing her and stuff and it turns out like it's her like trial but like i think it is like that it's like imagine being jalao and not being able to go anywhere in london in your hometown without people knowing or shouting or chasing you how's jalao gonna work at urban outfitters do you know what i mean like yeah they can't like and i think that is just like there's just like this weird yeah this weird part of the world at the minute where it's just kind of like like, whoa, like, we're in this weird stage where you can have fame without anything else.
20:53And then you've got this like weird fame where you don't have anything from it. Like even like, you know, even watching the Katie Price documentary, so I'm going on, but like, even when she started popping off doing page three, she immediately profited from it. Like it was like immediate, like the next shoot she got to play, when she did Playboy, she got like quarter of a million or like a third of a million. It's like she was pulling in so much money. Now it's like, people do shoots for magazines for free. yeah they're on the cover of a magazine but they ain't got no money yeah and i yeah i think it's crazy i think the way that the world's gone especially in the creative industry because there is no money around is um is not i can't remember the point but no no going back to the point of i do remember the point of like joshie and kate king even like jill and other creators there's so many other creators when people start being like well they took it too far it's like the whole thing was taking it too far to make you stay yeah like if they make a bad choice or you know don't get me wrong i know i said i've gone off kate king i just stopped watching her because i just like don't necessarily agree yeah you don't comment but i don't like shit or like clips of her going or dm her i think that's also the thing that what the fuck are people doing strange over like you know this part and so excited and so blessed to have this part and like to have people watching but like there are times where people will dm us and be like you know this i this really offended me and it's just kind of like i 100 hold that and take on but ultimately like why are you looking to us for like i don't know why are you looking to anyone not even us that's not me taking because i hope that if i make a mistake someone will tell me and we'll talk about it and we'll all grow from it but i think it's this thing where when people feel really let down by that i think you've got to ask yourself like why you feel so let down like i've watched kate king and for the first in a while i was like she's been really i don't necessarily agree with how she's moving so i'll just stop watching her that's it whereas i feel like there's like this there's like a takedown that people do it's just what yeah holding it's one thing holding kate katie price to a high standard because yeah she was she was earning so much money that she could be pr trained make it worth like she learned i mean the whole documentary is about she learned that like actually if you just make a bit of like if you make people talk you get paid for it now so if you make people talk you're not getting paid for it yeah just make people talk and so you almost have to ask yourself like you know then what is what is the point and so we like show she and stuff like of course you'd say yes to that autism diagnosis but then she's like now successful enough that like you know it then goes out to everybody else and everyone's like i think this is wrong people are stitching it doing think pieces on why like it's wrong i just yeah it's crazy it's also like i get a lot of the comments were like oh my god this is so dystopian which i get i get that it's i get that i agree it's dystopian yeah someone is doing an ad for an autism diagnosis i just don't think the anger or hatred of that should be directed um at show she yeah yeah why did we get too deep chat did we did we get a bit too think piecey about fucking micro influencers um oh oh tragic holiday romances is something i wanted to cover because uh i feel like i've had my fair share sue yeah um i feel like you know i think of corfu 2011 i want to say uh where i had my first kiss uh on the dance floor of a phone party um and then kind of self-sabotaged by jumping in the water to just kind of get away from any...
24:39The foam or the water? No, no, no. Sorry, the foam party was on the beach. Oh, nice. And I jumped into the water. But the main reason I bring it up is actually because of a tragic holiday romance, which I think I've told you about, but was in Mexico, but I haven't said on the podcast. which was basically sort of a hinge match while I was in Mexico in February. Yeah. Bear in mind, it was my third hinge date of the day. That is lovely. Because I was there alone. And to be honest, great way to explore a city. And yet none of these dates amounted to anything. They were like not even sort of a kiss.
25:27They were very friendly. i'm just gonna keep rolling yeah please um but i'm coming back from the second date of the day and uh i get a message from this girl and she's like what are you doing now and i'm like whoa let's go yeah wake it up could i do the third date in one day um i get there um we'll call her uh moona moona um and moona is great me and moona are getting on really well um she's taken me to a bar near hers we are sort of it's one of those dates where we're doing quite a lot of trauma sharing nice she's got a lot of trauma she's got she's got twin brother who died in a car crash a couple of years ago um and she's got family shit going on and whatever the fuck oh an abusive ex-boyfriend or abusive ex-boyfriend is a key detail who uh who she met in berlin she lived in berlin obviously obviously anyway and then muna uh muna and me have a great day and then i uh go traveling around mexico for a week and i'm like look like when i'm back if you wanna would be cool to hang out i realize i'm not here for that long so it's kind of a not an ideal situation anyway i get back a week later and um it's friday night and i've got my friends with me and i'm like hey moona what's up yeah like uh i kind of want to go out tonight um and she's like uh leave it with me like i can get you guest this i'm like i'm with five friends she's like don't worry about it oh my god i'm like oh my god moona's yeah yeah anyway so she puts us on the list me and my friends get to the club the club's fine it's kind of cool um but we're happy to be there and my friends are like who's this moona girl that's this is exciting and i'm excited to see this girl i like because i've been thinking about her while i've been alone for the last seven days or with my friends away from her the last seven days traveling on the coast anyway she pulls up to the club and um not only is she battered but she's got some guy with her and i'm like uh hey guys hey what's up nice to meet you man can't remember his name uh this french guy's okay what's up then uh kind of chirpy and i'm like oh how do you know moon like nice to meet you and he's like oh we're just friends um and he's like how do you know her and i'm like just friends yeah yeah i'm like i see you a mile away we're both we're both at that time unspoken with our eyes like i see you a mile off pussy um anyway and then and then moon Muna kisses me quite early on.
28:14Okay. I'm like, wow, okay. And then she kisses him. And then I'm like, fuck, okay. This is interesting. I've never been in this situation. So I self-harm in front of her. So I self-harm, yeah. I throw my head into the toilet bowl of the club toilet. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And I'm like, you did this. Yeah. No, but Muna, I kind of realize that Muna is just She's quite drunk She's been on a date with this guy and brought him And I I'm kind of like Muna I hope you don't take this the wrong way I kind of think you should maybe go home She was falling over and shit I'm happy to order you a cab But I'm going to go to another club with my friends And privately I was a little bit gutted because I'd been thinking about this girl for a while And then she brought I thought what was a date she brought a date to a date anyway I tell her this on a voice note the next day I'm like Muna obviously I hold no right to you especially considering I'm leaving in like five days but I just want you to know like it did hurt me a little bit seeing you kissing this guy and she was like oh I'm so sorry like are you free tonight and I was like well maybe I'm kind of hung over from the club last night like uh what are you doing and she's like i'm going to the club again different club tonight i'm like another club fuck's sake and i was like well like is your friend coming referring to this guy and she was like i don't know like i don't think so um and i'm like okay sus yeah anyway it's our last night in mexico our last night is a group me and my friends and i'm like guys what do you think like i don't want to drag you to like another tragic fucking situation where i just get cucked and god bless safa safa was like bro we're gonna fucking go and we're not gonna worry about whether moon is interested in you or not we're just gonna go and dance um and um i'm like fuck yeah i'm motivated i'm galvanized by safa it's just me and safa that go everyone else has dropped yeah at this point they don't want to see fucking spf dj we get to the club we can't get in text what's up she pulls up outside who's there the same fucking french guy again and i'm like no i'm like i'm gonna just keep it back be charming be merry and you know what sue we all had a great night dancing together did they leave together yes yes did i lose the love of my life did i lose of my life probably not but sue i know i'm dragging on a bit but it gets weirder okay because the monday this is my friends have all gone now it's my last day and moon is like do you want to like come and hang out on monday evening come to mine and i'll cook you some dinner i'm like cool sweet whatever i don't have anything better to do that's the thing when you're on holiday and you're so low your your level of standards for like how you're treated is so much you just need to get back you just need anything and um and then she texts me monday lunchtime and she's like uh hey can you hang out now like i'm not feeling too good i'm like okay what's up Like Like give me an hour Anyway I come to what I think Is her flat She's at work What the fuck She works at a jewellery shop So And it's like Really quiet On this day Anyway I get there And Her ex-boyfriend From Berlin She's got a call From His best friend That morning This is her Abusive ex-boyfriend Who she fled Berlin From I know she gets a call that he's tried to commit suicide oh for god's sake and um and then uh we're just outside her shop for like four hours i would say just fucking chuffing on darts yeah um and yeah just talking about it working i'm basically her therapist for four hours and to be honest quite enjoying it yeah loved it love my role doctor uh because it was so crazy this story and um and i'm like look do you want to hang out tonight like i george you do would dinner be too much you just want to be alone and she's like no no no i want to i still want to have dinner like come over um so i'm like okay cool i'll go and get some food from the supermarket yeah i go to the supermarket um i get i spend like 50 quid on food in a mexican supermarket fuck knows how yeah um a sort of mexican version of a pesto pasta by the way with cotilla cheese instead of parmesan because it's local to the climate obviously and um i get all the food i head back to my flat so i can shower before i go to hers and then i get a text from her like hey have you bought the food yet what the fuck and i'm like um yeah like why and i'm immediately like she doesn't she doesn't want to hang out like and um i'm like look muna if you don't want to hang out then it's fine it's absolutely fine like i don't care that i bought the food i can cook the food myself and she's like no no i'm just not that hungry i was just checking i was like okay i go over um i make dinner um we she's we basically cry for like cry we never shagged why'd you cry she was crying about the fact that her ex tried to kill herself kill himself and she felt bad for it but i was i was just sad no sorry actually i will i wasn't crying to be honest with you it was mainly her and then we went to this like amazing public library the next day and then i leave and it was sweet but i look back on it sue as like was that beautiful and like in its own weird way or was I just being taken for a fucking you were being taken to be fine to be fair and I never would I never would have gone for dinner at hers if I was in London yeah I don't because you're on holiday because I would I because it was my last night in Mexico and I was like I'm just gonna be alone in my like tiny Airbnb room in a shared accommodation and I was just like fuck Fuck it.
35:00And I couldn't say it on the podcast because it was too soon, but it's been about six months now, so. Fucker. Bombs away. But no, I got love for Muna. I got no resentment to Muna. She was going through a lot of tough time, but fuck me. Yes, that was my tragic holiday romance, and I think it's a fascinating thesis for how fun and exciting, but also how shit and the things we do for love when we're in a hotter temperature, far away from home what we might do for the chance of a snog. For the chance of a smile. So we've got two submissions from our lovely, lovely patrons Em and Amelia that we're going to cover next week.
35:40But we're also opening it up to anyone listening to this podcast. If you have a tragic holiday romance, let us know in our Instagram DMs or our email straightdiva with two A's at gmail.com. you can voice note us you can write it down whatever you want we want to hear it um but now agony ads so i recently found out my friend who was in a long-term relationship had a second girlfriend he also was on field hinge during this time period feels a bit greedy and not sure where the friendship stands was a bit long wait recently found out my friend who was in a long-term relationship had a second girlfriend he also was on field and hinge during this time period feels a bit greedy and not sure where the friendship stance was a bit long you're talking about it like like your housemate like left some dirty dishes yeah so your friend was basically cheating on his partner is what the thing is oh i thought this was this person's partner no no no his friend had uh oh and you're wondering he found out my friend who was in a long-term relationship had got a second girlfriend.
36:50Reading it out for the third time. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. You are describing it like they've left their just dirty dishes out. That does sound quite shitty. But... I mean, I think you just bring it up to your mate like, what's tea, babe? Are you struggling? Yeah, I'm so fascinated by the way it feels a bit greedy. It was a bit long. But yeah, I would say that the beautiful thing about friendship is that friends if you're good enough friends you would stick through this sort of thing not necessarily you could go the fuck is up or just not even go like sorry I don't want to be friends with someone like that if it was me I would be like why did you do that are you going to do that again what's going on just ask some questions check in
37:48But don't just write into a podcast And set on that Jordan Oh Oh And you're on private as well So we can't kind of make an assessment of what kind of person you are But yeah Second girlfriend is crazy Yeah it's really bad You ever had a second girlfriend? No While you were dating Laura That was one time That was one time Do we have any others? Why is it so hard to have random lesbian sex? I go out, I'm on the streets, and I'm sexy too. I honestly don't know. I don't know. Because you're ugly? No. Because you're filthy, disgusting? No, you're not. You're beautiful. Well, there are less of you, just statistically.
38:34Yeah, yeah. it's physically harder than straight sex or male to male cis male to cis male sex not that I would know and yeah you'll probably just collapse and it's hard on the street I would say not to sort of encourage dating apps because I do think it's a lost art that people approach each other in the real world but the street feels a bit open I feel like everyone's guard is up in the street you know at least in a big city no one's going to even pump up your tyres for you let alone find you someone to shag so go to El Camionero whatever the fuck it is El? La? La Camionero? sounds like a feminine word it should be feminine if it's a lesbian bar let's be honest well it doesn't have to be it could be masculine honey oh yes because there are masculine lesbians for sure thank you not enough lesbian representation just everywhere I agree we need some we need amdram we need dram we need detective dramas that are lesbian coded we need comedies I think we're probably about five years away it's kind of like Wales yeah Ireland's had its time and now in the sun Wales is coming Wales is hot Wales is really in right now where the fuck is Charlotte Church where the fuck is Tom Jones where the fuck is that's literally it Gavin Henson um okay folks you've been listening to Straight Diva Sue's gotta go moan about getting styled for a premiere Bye
