0:29Shameless media. The swaps are back. It's Friday, everybody. Happy Friday. This is our first one together. Just the two of us. Guys, this is my first ever Friday. Yes. I'm being very generous with myself this week. So you are fucking welcome. Yeah, twice. We were literally talking about this. I was like, seeing you twice in a week is what a treat. It is a treat. It is so lovely to see you. How are you, my love? I'm good. I'm good. You've got a real pimp-top smoothie next to you. I know, guys. There is so much in this. Like, I was on one on Wednesday. I might top myself today because there's creatine, there's bone broth protein powder, two bananas, two shots of coffee, frozen mango, frozen pineapple, a little bit of coconut water, dash of almond milk for good measure.

1:10We're going to be hyped up. That's cost you$80, I reckon. I know. Honestly, it cost me like$25 a day. I've got a sickening habit. So I'm on a budget and I'm making my own smoothies at home. Well, I'm really proud of you. Thank you. Yeah, so welcome back to our new Friday format, our How Can We Help episodes, which is all about you guys. So answering your questions, dilemmas, we're here to help. We've had so many requests come through, so keep them coming. I've loved reading them, having a little sticky beak in the socials. And today we're going to be talking about something that a lot of you have messaged us about, summer styling.

1:47I love it. Starting off, we're going to do the swap though. What's yours? Oh my god, guys. Guys, guys, guys. This really ties in today's episode because for me, at this point, I actually feel like I should release my own sunglasses collection or brand. Oh, I'd love that. Because sunglasses are literally part of my identity. Like, don't you think? I always rock a sunglass. You look so good in a sunglass, which is the opposite of me because I don't own a single pair of sunglasses. What do you mean? I can't see. You know you can get, like, description lenses. I know, but then you have to really commit to one.

2:16Okay, true. But you suit glasses. I feel like glasses are also part of your identity. So let's hybrid line. Yeah, let's. Something going on there. Me and you together. You and me, baby, let's go. But for me, you guys, it's definitely a big glasses summer. And the Beatles sunglasses are me to a T. Like, if you follow me on socials, you would probably see me 99.9 % of the time rocking my big Beatles sunglasses. I have been on the wait list for the Kate X Oliver Peoples 1967C sunglasses for I want to say maybe like six months now. These sunglasses are arguably the sunglasses of the season. They are the most coveted item and impossible to get your hands on.

2:57Now, they're$673 so they are a pretty penny and quite the investment. I got tired of waiting so I started shopping around and did all the hard work for everybody. and I have found some two more affordable options. One that's it's kind of more middle market, I will say, is the Chimmy sunglasses. Now, I've got the Lila. That's what you see me wearing all the time. On Chimmy's website, they're$4.20, but at the new trend, they're$3.90, so I know where I'll be shopping. And they are a really heavy weight. They sit really beautifully on your face. They really do the trend without having to be that excessive price tag.

3:33but now this is where I feel like the audience can really dip their toe in for anybody who wants to get around the trend but doesn't want to spend$390 to$420 fair I feel you I hear you shade S-Z-A-D-E they have got a very very similar pair online for$79.99 guys and I'm sure if you like sign up for the first time you might get like a 10 % discount so like girl math right now Yeah, that's free. That's free. So those are my options for you, but we'll link all of these options for you in the show notes. Off the back of that, there's very similar ones at Bailey Nelson for my prescription girlies. So if you need sunnies with a prescription in it, they've got very similar ones.

4:14Do you know something hilarious about me? Like this couldn't really identify my personality more. I also should be wearing glasses. My prescription has been sitting at Specsavers Victoria Gardens since 2023. They call me still to this day. Love you guys if you're listening. Thank you so much for the follow-ups. Wait, no. Do they still have them? They still have them. Wait, we should film this. We should go collect them. Should we pop on? And they leave so many messages on my voicemail. And I'm like, I'm almost too embarrassed to go on and be like, What do you mean? Honey, sweetie, boo-boo-boo, thank you so much.

4:42But the eyes have deteriorated. The eyes have changed. But would love them to put some prescriptions into my beetle bugs. Yeah, let's go in. Okay, let's do it. Well, mine is a creator. Sorry, I keep bringing creators. No, we're here for it. I think I'm refreshing all the people I like to go to for inspiration, especially as we're coming into spring, summer. And I think it's quite good because obviously America and the UK have kind of gone through it. So you can kind of see what they were wearing. Totally. So this is a creator called Megan Moore. She's only on TikTok. Okay. And I just love her style.

5:15Everything that she wears, I'm like, oh, that looks exactly like you. You can kind of like really spot her style. She has the most incredible bob. I just, it's a perfect bob with a little baby bang. It's making me really want to get a baby bang. She is so cutie fresh. I'm literally doing a live stalk right now. Almost like her bob and bang are like part of the outfit. Do you know what I mean? She like dresses perfectly for her haircut, which I love. And the other thing I really, like in general, her style is really like a really good play on like colour and silhouette. I love how she like has certain formulas of outfits.

5:49and then second to that she has just like fantastic taste in jewelry like she always has like a really good ear stack and bangles stack um and it's really inspiring me to invest in some more bracelets and bangles totally megan moore you are a chameleon i'm looking at her tiktok right now guys in her feed she does everything from like colorful makeup different outfit trends it doesn't look like she is really sticking to like one sort of aesthetic either she's got color she's got print. She's got neutrals. She's a girl for the girls. And all of the brands that she tags are brands I've never heard of.

6:24So I think she's very, very good at finding things that aren't in the mainstream. There's been so many brands that I've seen that I've never heard of, like across countries as well. Like she wore this black dress with a rose detail and it was a Mexican brand and they have like amazing bridal. So has a really, really, really good eye. And I think spends a lot of time searching for brands. So thanks for doing all the hard work for us. Thank you, Megan. We couldn't love you more. Well, look, we've teased out quite a bit. So should we jump on in? What are we talking about, Naima? Good foreshadowing, Annika.

6:54We get so many DMs around dressing for the warmer months and we're going to give you some foolproof tips and formulas. But that's right after a word from today's sponsor. let's be honest getting ready in the morning is almost always a bit of a rush so a makeup routine that's longer than five minutes not happening Merit Beauty believes great makeup should be effortless and their range of clean thoughtfully curated essentials helps you achieve polished look in just minutes Merit's bestsellers are proof that less really is more take the minimalist which works double duty as both a concealer and a foundation so you can get quick coverage without using multiple products.

Plus, you can get Merit's signature makeup bag with your first order at meritbeauty.com. That's M-E-R-I-T beauty.com. What's not to love about that? Thank you so much to Merit for making this episode of Stylish possible.

8:11I don't know about you, but once I start getting like little hints of sunshine and I'm like getting ready for spring and summer, I instantly forget how to dress myself like I've never dressed for summer before? I forget. And it's honestly bizarre because I mean, we really haven't had that cool of a winter. Like it's like, but mentally I've transported myself back to like winter dressing and I forget how to dress for summer altogether. Like I forget under all my baggy clothes there is a body. Like today I got my legs out and I was like, what the hell are you doing? Crazy. But yeah, I think that's a pretty general sentiment that we see across our DMs as well.

8:49How do you dress for the warmer weather? What are the things they should be buying for spring? And I also got this sub stack from someone I love. It's by Harleen Ross and she actually used to work at Man Repeller, which is where I initially found her. But I've been following her newsletter forever and this landed in my inbox and it was three styling ideas when the first fall chill descends. Great heading. First of all, I clicked on it straight away and it got me thinking that we should do that for summer and spring. Totally. I honestly feel like it's great because something I think that we always forget as well is there is that transitional period when you go from like winter or autumnal weather into spring and it's still cold.

9:32Like it's still very much in the morning. This morning was like six degrees here and now it's going to be, I think, a high of 20. So it's like during the day your outfitting can change if you're out and about. And how do we reinvest and shop our own wardrobe to really make sure we're getting longevity out of our pieces as well? Some of Harling's styling tips for winter were a three-piece outfit formula, a spin on a twin set, and a reliable colour combination. So that's inspired us, me and you, to do our outfit formulas and then also a few tips of our own as well. Okay, so Naima, let's unpack what your top three tips are.

10:06I honestly got really excited when I saw your notes because I think we're both giving quite different points of view and opinions, and I think we'll be able to flesh them out a little bit more together. But what is your first hot tip? So I've got an overarching tip. Take a photo of every outfit you've ever worn, whether you like it or not. Love it. Take the photo because if it exists in your camera roll, at the time when I got to this week and I went, I don't know how to dress for summer, I was able to go back to 2025 and go, what did I wear in summer? And it wasn't just like, I guess the good outfits, the ones where I was like, I love that.

10:44Not just those ones I took a photo of even the ones that didn't quite work I took a photo of because it made me realize what I like and what I don't like and what's working for my body and also like what I felt comfortable in a lot of the photos I looked at and I was like you look great but you hated being in that like that material did not work for you in summer I love this do you know what it reminds me of Kim Kardashian's book Selfish and it was literally like all of her selfies yeah it was literally an accumulation of all of her fits there was some I remember archive pieces it was even when she did like a heavy beat on her face with like it's insane makeup but it's such a good reference because it's like what did I like at that point in time did I love it yes did I not why not yeah and also just remembering what's in your wardrobe because I mean you've seen inside my wardrobe I forget what the hell's in there that's such a good point when I go through it's like I'm like oh yeah that I love that like actually it's a really good way to not purchase new things every time spring and summer comes around or at least purchase less yeah because you are reminded that you have similar items especially when trends are so like cyclical yeah and they do last a few seasons you can remind yourself no I do have that already or a version of that I love the Kim K reference so maybe I should just make my own book is that what you're saying that's what canvas for isn't it like just I mean you've got the big laptop do the damn thing yeah honestly put the archive together make one for me while you're at it yeah you also see my wardrobe but I don't part with anything like I'm that girl to the point where my husband literally just bought one of those beds that you can lift up and store shit underneath it that's a hot that's my archive yeah I love it we have to redo your video now you've probably had some stuff to it but from that I actually went through some of my photos from last year trying to remind myself of what some of my formulas would be and my first one something I'm doing right now it is a cargo pant or like a utility pant.

12:38I think this also works like with a barrel pant, a loose linen pant with a feminine top and a sandal or a heel. Trae bien. I'm looking at you right now and it's like tick, tick, tick, because I think that's the biggest thing, right? It's the proportions. And if you've got an accent on your body, how do you compliment that accent? Like respectfully, you're probably not going to see me wearing this big puffy bomber jacket and then like a big barrel pant. It's going to be too many focal points and be doing too much. I'm going to keep it streamlined in one area. So today it would be like my legs. And then I've got the big bomber to be like that focal point.

13:11Yeah, exactly. And it's like balances out as well. And I think with a cargo pant, I've got like a camo cargo pant on at the moment. These are like my most worn pants in summer. I reckon I wear them pretty consistently, but I've got a few versions of this shape. And I think I've also got a few like cotton, barrel-y, like low rise pants too. But I do think they like lean a little bit towards a bit more of a masculine style. So you can go a bit more feminine with your top. So I've got quite a like lowly top on today. It's got a little bit of brode array. It's very cute, very professional. Very chic.

13:43I love it. I was like my doily top and you're like, yes, that's the right. But this works really well with like more of a fitted top, something that's backless. Pink works really well with something like this. You could even go like a sequin top, like an ostrich feather. Oh, yes, a faux ostrich feather. There we go. We could do something a little bit more textural. Yes. But I think something about a khaki base or even a cargo base, surprisingly, it's a print and a color that works back with so many other tones. Even looking at you right now, do some velvet, mustard velvet, the beautiful chair you're sitting on, like plums, burgundies.

14:19Anything in that palette I think is really complementary to like a khaki, a cargo, a green. Yeah. And we all know that green is a trending color for spring, summer as well. So we're seeing it come through on the runways. I've always said camo is a neutral. I don't think anyone else agrees. I agree. Yeah, I agree. And that's all that matters. Number two for me is to embrace the suit short or a Bermuda short. Yes. I love a suit short. I love a Bermuda short. Louder. Yeah, I love a short that falls just below my knee. Yeah. Or just above. Honestly, you and me both. I don't know. Maybe when I was pre-20.

14:55I don't know. How old was I? Let's say 16 to 20, maybe I was doing like a short short and I was all about like those, you know, more leggy option. As I've gotten older, I just gravitate always towards more baggier options to a longer line option. A jort has my name on it, a Bermuda short, chef's kiss. But I feel like you can have so much more fun with a Bermuda short. I feel like you can wear a sexy little top and a Bermuda short and you don't feel too exposed. Or you could do it to the office with like a really beautiful long line blazer. I'm not going to give away my tidbit just yet. I'll save that for my section.

15:30But I feel like you can really accentuate and make a Bermuda short quite fun and contemporary, quite femme. You can do it in so many ways. Yeah. And I think from a sitting down point of view, I find like a short really hard to sit. You're like constantly pulling it down. A Bermuda short is like airy. You can go a cotton version or a wool version. I've got a Friends with Frank version that I wear all the time. I've got a Lamb Navy pinstripe version that works really well in summer because you can wear it back with a little going out top and feel quite chic and then I've got the assembly label cotton version which is just like perfect you know a really chill day back with a ballet flat or a thong so cute so easy and wear it with a singlet I love this you can easily go day to night in it which is great getting longevity out of your pieces yeah I've actually got the cutest and they're the really really beautiful um Bermuda short from Banded Together which is a really cool Aussie brand and they're in like a silk so they sit really nicely they actually don't like you know when sometimes in silk it gets a bit funny when you sit and creases um static yeah doesn't do that at all good I honestly wear these shorts all the time I love them when I was over in New York I just invested in a pair from Reformation which are a long line satin fabric and they're in like a mustard color I'm wearing color who am I like I'm so excited for these to arrive you've got No idea.

16:47But they are a longer line. It's a heavyweight satin. So as well, got a bit of a shing to it. So it feels a little bit dressy. They'll probably be my personality this spring, summer. Top of my list is the Reformation green taffeta silk pants. Yes. The Thai ones. I think that's another version of that cargo vibe. Because taffetas has to be one of my fabrics of the season. Yeah, it's everywhere. So this bomber is actually taffeta. It's like a nylon-y taffeta situation. And I've got the matching skirt, which is also giving that same vibe. Yeah. I love this fabric. It's a material of the season. We're calling it.

17:18It is. You heard it here first, everybody. And my last one, short but sweet, invest in dresses. So simple. Invest in like a lot of midi dresses, big volume dresses, cotton dresses. I also love like a mini colorful dress. Yes. Because there's no thinking to it. There's no formula needed. Just put the dress on. The dress will do the talking. The dress, the all-in-one, you just simply cannot go wrong. In my industry, in the fashion world, we always talk about beach-to-bar dressing. and people are like, what does that even mean? I'm like, you're literally, okay, let's envision together. Like let's sit here and envision we're both in Bondi right now and we're on the beach.

17:56We're in our cute little keenies and then we're a bit thirsty. We want to have a tipple. So we're going to go to like Ravises or something. Is that even still cool? I don't know. We're going to Ravises. I want to look kind of chic. I'm chucking on my cover up. It's a really cute summery printed little dress option. Now I'm hungry. I'm going over to Raw Bar. I still want to look chic. So I probably might like just change up my shoe maybe. I want to do this date. This sounds great. That's just you wouldn't know. I told you I'm on one today. Who knows where else we're going next? To the globe. Spec savers beach to burn.

18:26In terms of like brands for this, I've got one brand that I wear a lot of. It is an investment piece, but Katerina Liu. She just beautiful cotton dresses. There's also another brand called Chulay. They're really good at like a cotton dress in good proportions. And last but not least, Dish. Yeah. Dish do really good summer dresses. You can't go wrong. We all know, or if you don't know, now you know, but I am a brand loyalist. Like if I find a brand that suits my body, suits my stages of life, which has actually been quite important to me because I made a rule to myself when I was pregnant that I wasn't going to go and buy pregnancy specific clothes.

19:02and I'm still getting so much longevity out of like any items I bought. I was pregnant this time last year. It was getting hot and anything that was like a beautiful cotton, like I had some really beautiful pieces from Harris Tapper, shirts and trouser combos. Then I had some more dressier options from like Maison Essential, but they were literally just like throw on pieces that you could dress up or down with your denim. Easy brands that will take you from day to night, which I think is a very, very good hot tip. Told you we've been generous today. Yeah, we have been. Speaking of, it's actually your turn next, but we'll do that right after a word from today's sponsor.

20:02Running is more fun together. Or if you're just looking to spectate and soak up the atmosphere, non-runners should get down to experience the race day atmosphere too. Limited places remain, so register ASAP. And thank you so much to Nike Melbourne Marathon Festival for making this episode of Stylish possible. Okay, so you've heard my outfit formulas. What Anika is actually going to give us is her top three tips to really make your outfits sing. Guys, you know me. I can never really stick to like just one thing. Again, I'm being very generous with my answers. A top, top tip. Accessories will always dress up a simple outfit.

20:41Now I'm talking jewellery, a brooch, a hat, a statement shoe, the wrong shoe. Anything that is just going to add a little bit more oomph, even your handbag, creates another focal point to like a simple look. You could be wearing all black. And then today I'm like, okay, I might do like a really cool silver ring like the one I've got on my finger. I might do a really big statement airing from Anna Rossi. Already, I've just got a black simple look that's been elevated by some jewellery accents. My biggest accessory, which I'm coveting for spring, summer, is the cummerbund. I knew. I knew you were going to say it.

21:16Did you know that I was going to say this? Guys, if you're not wearing a cummerbund, what are you doing? I'm on cummerbund talk. Yes. What is that? People are getting cummerbunds. I'm being influenced. I need to get back on TikTok, guys. I live under my rock. I'm going back over here to like my Pinterest boards and my Instagram. Cumberbunds were everywhere when I was in New York. Okay. I'm talking the Kalmaier, the Heirloom, Ralph Lauren, Connor Ives, TWP. All of these brands spotlighted the Cumberbund. And I've got to say it has to be the it accessory of spring, summer. How am I wearing it? Okay.

21:45Slip dress? Cumberbund. Cute top and jeans? Cumberbund. Barrel pants? Singlet? Cumberbund. Balloon pants? It's a big Cumberbund. It's a Cumberbund summer. It's a Cumberbund summer. Like guys, get around it. get amongst and look if you're not into the cummerbund I get it we often like to take trends from the men and we you know adapt them to ourselves because my dad actually did it first at his wedding to my mum my dad wore a stunning three-piece suit and a cummerbund so he would be so happy looking down on me right now with this top tip you could do it easily with a silk scarf yeah or a scarf of any description a sarong you could easily then get a two for one you can tie it around your waist or like Zara pop it up in your hair yes cute headscarf situation you could Easily do it as well with just a simple bout that has a bit of a statement buckle.

22:30Or easier way to go into it is like go into an op shop, find a really chunky big necklace and do it around your, similar to what I'm wearing. What are you wearing on your neck? Because that is a stunning, stunning piece. It's just a little H &M number. I love it. It's like that brand Juliet that I wrecked in a few, a little while ago. But colourful beads are also an easy way to get around a summer trend. And if you go into an option, there's often quite like long ones that you can actually just like loop around a few times. Especially with like dresses that feel a little bit looser. And if you want to give it like a little bit more.

23:01Just a little bit more shape. Look, if we're going beach to bar, big keftan, you just cinch it in. Cinch it in. And then you pull it up a little. And you literally get your legs out. I want to touch on the wrong shoe thing. I think the wrong shoe is like literally the best tip I can give anyone in summer. because sometimes in summer you do wear like quite like a floral dress or you feel quite naked because it's like less clothing. Yeah. Sometimes the edge you need is the wrong shoe. Absolutely. Do you know what else I saw on the runways? God, I want to say like it was either Tibby or another fabulous brand, Simkai.

23:35Simkai it was, I believe. They had the wrong shoe theory to a T. Yeah. Feathers on the shoes, a lot of fringing on the shoes. Love it. Yeah. And I know it's like with summer you always think sandal, but like a ballet flight is so good for a big dress or like if you're wearing like a Bermuda short or like a cargo pant a ballet flight looks really like it's a nice little contrast I couldn't agree more and sorry I know this is a few years ago but like an Asics chunky sneaker with a big dress always works honestly perfect contrast I'm a bunion girly I know we've all spoken about this I've spoken about it at length guys when you're pregnant I'm so sorry to break it to you your bunions are likely going to get bigger I know like honestly feel feel for me over here that's why I'm wearing my hooves they I kind of cover my bunion, but it sometimes looks like I've got like a sixth top.

24:20I'm imagining you in beach to bar right now. Honey, I'm wearing this everywhere. Like wear the good things. Wear the crazy things. I also think it like extends out to the wrong accessory theory. Yes. I think like a really romantic outfit with a cap, perfect. You instantly look cooler. Yeah. And it's got like something a little bit different. But then if you're wearing a more fitted outfit, like the Bermuda short with a more fitted top, You can go like a feminine earring, like a big earring or a really fluffy like bag. So fun. These statements can be easily recreated at home and on any budget, which I really, really love.

24:53What's your next one? My next one. Okay. When in doubt, wear a co-ord. This is, I love it when you guys tell me I look nice and I'm like, guys, I really, really did nothing to get this look together. I'm wearing a co-ord. I'm wearing a matching top and matching bottom. I'm wearing a set. I am so lazy. Like I will say it again, you guys, I am the laziest dresser you'll ever meet. You look good. Thank you. Thank you kindly. It literally comes to just a few accented pieces. I get so much longevity out of these pieces. I've got so many great tops and bottoms from Henny, which are like a complete combo.

25:27They do it in denim. They've done it in corduroy. You can bring those pieces back into summer and two for one with girl math because then you can separate them as separates. Exactly. It's so easy. You can look and feel a million bucks by just putting a set together. Change up the shoe, change up the earring, change your hair, change your makeup. It's like the easiest way to get longevity, I think, out of your wardrobe. There's actually a brand that I'm like really obsessed with at the moment called Olga Joan. Oh, hot, hot, hot. It's like basics, but they're all in different colors. And it's like an amazing range that they've got, not just like blacks and whites, like purple, yellow, red, all these gorgeous colors that you could buy the matching set.

26:06But you could buy one of each and then have like different color combinations. I love that you've said this because actually something we're seeing right now, here's a tidbit from the fashion world as well. So what we're seeing, so I've just got back from New York. We deal with everybody from Revolve to Moto Operandi to Nordstrom, like so many beautiful curated stores and a wide range of stores internationally. They've got commercial brands. They've also got really expensive profile premium brands. and all of our buyers were really looking at brands that had, again, longevity and what they were purchasing.

26:37They were looking for twin sets. That was a really big call out and pop colors. So anything like, let's say we're doing a color blocking theory. You're going to have like maybe the red singlet, which could also go back with the red skirt. But you might do it with like a red and a pink, a red and a burgundy. We love that color maximalism right now. And then you kind of make the outfits a little bit more fun and add personality by having the co-word option or a colour blocking option. And your last one, which actually leads in perfectly. This is perfect. What a segue. Honestly, you guys, it's going to be a colourful summer.

27:11Colour is back. If you're not wearing colour in a cummerbund, then what are you doing? And the colour that literally every single buyer that walked into my showroom in New York was asking for, aqua, aqua, aqua, aqua. And I know, like, this colour can be quite loud. It's quite bold. It's quite scary. But if you do it in a really intentional way, like Naima today with her beautiful necklace and the beads around your neck, you're literally taking the trend and you're mixing it back with pieces that already feel intrinsically you. So it's not such a bold statement. But I actually discovered this super cool brand called Blanche.

27:46B-L-A-N-C-H. They offer such affordable, cute pieces. And their Lucy tank, I'm obsessed with this. It's like the simplest summer tank. You could wear it with denim. You could wear it with something like a bit more statement down below. And it's so cool because they've taken the color of the season and they've paired it back with like a chocolate brown. Yeah. Aqua and chocolate brown are so good together, you guys. Like so good. I'm very much living in my car keys. I'm in my mustards. I'm in this era. Like I'm playing it very safe. But I do want to get around like injecting color. And I also want to play with print.

28:21I have seen some really cool pieces coming through from St. Agni. they've just teased out on Modo Brandi their SS27 collection which will drop Feb, March I believe next year one of the prints that I'm obsessed with is a jacquard, now florals for spring groundbreaking but guys, doing it in a jacquard feels a little bit more mature, a little bit more grown up, you know, she's in her successful girl era, I'm wearing that I'm feeling a little bit more put together, I'm adding my cummerbund, the cummerbund is coming with that look, might do a wrong shoe as well. I am on the hunt. I've been on Etsy recently for a jacquard bag.

28:57Oh my God. Yeah. Ah, I forgot about this one. Guys, I literally have found the best Etsy shop in the world. I ordered two floral jacquard bags. Oh my God. They were affordable. They are so chic, like so, so, so chic. And they are doing all of this trend. I literally just forgot about them. We'll pop that in the show notes. We will. We will. We absolutely will. In this whole idea of injecting colour prints and texture, you can literally wear things that you might traditionally think are reserved for PM dressing. During the day, wear your sequins, wear your texture, wear anything from your wardrobe.

29:33Even in Prada's show, she had a lot of leather still coming through. Wear something sexy down below, wear a leather jacket with it, wear your bombers, wear your funnels. Still make those pieces incorporate into the spring summer dressing because it is still very, I mean, right now it's cool in the morning and then it gets hot during the day. I think the scary part sometimes is like you feel like because one thing is dressy, you need to match it back with dressy. Whereas like I think with something that's a fringed item or like a sequined item, you go casual with the other item. Totally. To help it bring it down.

30:05So like invest in good singlets and tanks and like really thinking about when you've got these more formal pieces, how do you make it a little bit more casual? So it's like it's kind of like the wrong top theory. The wrong top theory. Yeah, you know. It's trying to balance it back out. Yeah, I couldn't agree more. Just have so much fun. Wear what makes you feel good. And at the end of the day, fashion is subjective. It's up to you. And I reckon that is it for this week's episode of Stylish. Wow. I think I like Fridays, you guys. I might come back here. A reminder to keep sending in your questions and dilemmas where we've been absolutely loving reading through them.
