Listen in on Friday just like today to see if you won. It's that easy. We announce this week's winner a little bit later in the episode. In today's lesson, you will learn five ways to use ChatGBT to earn money online. I'm a big believer in getting started as an entrepreneur, earning your first dollar. And one of the easiest ways to do this is to leverage the power of AI. Just in case you haven't heard, OpenAI released a pretty sophisticated artificial intelligence called ChatGPT.
1:24It's a chatbot that you can ask questions and it can provide you with great information and content. The power of the possibility is pretty endless. But today I'm going to show you specifically how you can use ChatGPT to earn some money to start your first side hustle or business and earn some cash. I'm going to give you some specific examples and how to pull it off, as well as some tips on how to generate the best information and results from ChatGPT. How you can train this AI to give you the best content. So let's get into it. Let's get down to business. It's no secret ChatGPT is super powerful, but how do you leverage that power so that you can build a business around it, a side hustle that can help you earn some revenue that can later on allow you to build other businesses or that big idea you have?
2:09I got five ideas for you. Let's get started. One of the fastest ways to start earning some revenue is to build an audience on YouTube. Now, YouTube is not going to pay you lots of money right from the bat. In fact, there's a few criterias you're going to have to go through before you're going to start monetizing. You have to have a certain number of subscribers and plays, about 1 ,000 subscribers at the moment, and 4 ,000 watch hours. But hang with me here. The key to YouTube is to actually create videos that people want and to continually create content for YouTube. YouTube loves great content and it will continue to expose your videos if you're consistent.
2:46So how does ChatGPT come into play? Well, it's actually pretty good when it comes to creating short form video scripts. Now, before I share this idea or any other idea, know that you need to give ChatGPT some prompts. You need to actually ask it to refine its answers over and over and over to get some really good content. And I'll talk more about this later, but don't just ask it, hey, give me a great script for this topic. That might be a start, but then you want to iterate and ask it to make tweaks and changes and improvements as if you are asking a human being to make edits. And ChatGPT will churn out new content, churn out an improved version of that content.
3:23And in this case, when it comes to a video script, ChatGPT is really good when it comes to short form copy, less than 3000 words. Now, it's not the end all and be all. You You might have to edit it, add to it, tweak it, but it'll give you some ideas. And I should say you should always fact check what ChatGPT churns at. It's not always 100 % accurate. It's very confident, but not super accurate. But in my opinion, if you're going to use ChatGPT to create brilliant video scripts for your YouTube channel, make sure your YouTube channel is niched and that you're actually helping people accomplish a goal, a task with your videos.
3:59Let me give you some examples. Let's say your niche is cooking. The point here is that once you choose a niche, now you can go deep into different kinds of how-to videos, like how to make the perfect scrambled eggs, or how do you flip pancakes to make sure they're even on each side, or how to cook a steak without a barbecue. Why do I suggest this? Well, because people are always trying to find answers via YouTube, especially activities, tasks, things like cooking, or car repair, or style advice. And this will allow your videos to get plays and retention time. And by keeping them short, let's say a five to six minute video, you'll get full retention.
4:36Hopefully, if your video is good from top to bottom. And the most important thing in a video is the script. So even if you just do a voiceover and use some stock footage for the images, or you create your own B-roll where you're doing the actions that are required to be on camera, and then you voice it over later, this is going to make your life so much easier. Because the script is really the content. the reason why the video is actually good. And of course, you can make money on YouTube via monetization. Basically, YouTube runs ads. While people are watching your videos, you get paid a percentage of that ad time.
5:10Now, listen, it's going to take some time to grow that audience and to grow the views, but it's a start. And it's a great way for you to start growing an audience so that you can build a business around that niche. Idea number two, if you're somewhat technical, you know a little bit of HTML, CSS, HTML, PHP, be any kind of coding, or if you're interested in it, you can learn this very quickly in a matter of a couple of weeks with an online course like on Udemy. You can basically start a service to fix websites, fix broken code. One of the superpowers of ChatGPT, its ability to tell you what's wrong with a line of code or a series of code.
5:48So you could basically be like a tech support person where you can charge a monthly fee where you can fix anybody's website anytime if need be. A plugin's broken, something's wrong. They don't know how to embed a form or a piece of software onto their website. You can provide the service. Several times I've tried to do something on my website. The code is giving me an error. I popped the code to JaxGBT and say, what's wrong with this code? Can you fix it? It popped out some better end code with the fix. I copied that new code and pasted it into my site and it worked perfectly. Now, the reason why I think this is a great idea is because with very little skills, with very little training, you can become an expert with the power of ChatGBT.
6:29Most people are non-technical. Most people just need a website to run their business or run their site, to run their hobby, whatever it is. And they don't know how to do what I'm talking about right here. They don't even know how to find the code in the first place. Copy and paste it into ChatGBT. They probably don't even have a ChatGBT account. Point here is that with a few weeks of training and learning a little bit about the basics of code and development, You can fix a lot of basic website problems if you're open to learning and growing. Idea number five, speech writing services. Many people fear public speaking, but they need to give a speech, whether it's a wedding toast or a presentation for work or maybe even to get a job in an interview.
7:09They have to talk about a topic and present. People would be more than happy to actually pay for this service. ChatGBT can actually produce some pretty good results when it comes to topics and speeches. You can even give it prompts to say, hey, add a few jokes, write it in the voice of so-and-so. Say, for example, you like Ryan Reynolds, you think he's funny. You can throw a little humor and say, write it in the voice of Ryan Reynolds. But maybe you like Neil deGrasse Tyson because you like the way he explains complex things. And you can also say, but also add the nuance of Neil deGrasse Tyson.
7:41And of course, whatever you end up with ChatGPT, you can modify and change and edit. and I actually recommend that because then you add your own flavor to it and your own branding. And there you go. You got a speech for somebody that they can use for their next toast presentation, whatever it might be. Now, this might sound like a side gig, but it's a great way for you to earn some money and learn how to run a business, right? How to treat clients, how to invoice, how to service a customer, how to market, how to sell, how to fulfill the service. And even if you're in a fantastic writer, it definitely gives you the confidence to modify an existing piece of work.
8:18Number four, I think this is probably the easiest and most profitable idea, become an affiliate marketer. Affiliate marketers basically promote other products and get a commission when people buy through their affiliate link. Now, one of the most common ways affiliate marketers make money is through a thriving blog. They choose a niche and then they talk about different products in that niche and why they should buy it. For example, maybe you're in the niche of footwear. And one of the things about having a thriving affiliate blog is coming up with great ideas, coming up with consistent ideas that you can then publish as articles or reviews for each product.
8:55You could tell ChadGBT, hey, look up this product. Learn about the new Nike Air Dell Dons. These are a new pair of basketball sneakers. And it could do some research for you, like tell me what technologies that shoe use in, what are the colorways it comes in, and what makes this shoe different. And then you can take that information and write some great articles based on it. Once you write the article, you can throw it back to ChatGBT and say, hey, improve upon this, or give me a different iteration, or add one joke per paragraph, or add a statistic and a reference to that statistic for each point that's made.
9:28You can come up with a new improved version of that article. All right, number five, fifth business, fifth idea that you can use ChatGBT so that you can earn some cash, a social media marketing agency. Now, the reason why I left this one for last is because it's my favorite, because ChatGBT is actually fantastic when it comes to giving it already made content and coming up with something new. So if your job is to market a business's content through social media, then you can come with great little snippets, quotes, social media shout outs, ideas from existing content. So for example, if you're promoting a blog post, you would just post the blog post inside of ChatGPT and say, hey, come up with five great Twitter content pieces or tweets.
10:16You got a podcast, transcribe it and do the same thing. Same thing with a video. Use a tool like Socialmonials or Buffer or MeetEdgar and you could schedule out all this great content for your clients' social media profiles. Go over to Canva.com, which also uses AI in their app, to come up with some great images or videos that go along with your social media pieces. Create whole videos and reels with Canva, just using the combination of ChatGBT and Canva. The reason why I love this idea is because you can get customers on retainer paying you monthly some pretty good fees for taking care of all their social media.
10:54Their job is to give you their latest content, like their blog posts or newsletter or videos, and you can make sure that their social media feeds are filled with great content based on the things that they've created to promote that, to promote that blog, that YouTube channel, that podcast, helping them get more exposure and hopefully more followers and more likes and listens and all that kinds of stuff. Now, I promise you that I'm going to give you some tips when it comes to using ChatGPT to maximize your results. Now, you have to remember that ChatGPT is artificial intelligence, which means you need to train it to be smarter.
11:28If you want the best results, you need to give it some prompts before you start rolling up your sleeves. Let me give you an example. I was creating a video script for a webinar I'm doing for our affiliates over at Webinar Ninja. We're launching Course Ninja. It's coming out of beta, and I wanted to create a video for the registration page for the webinar I'm doing for our affiliates to show them how to become better affiliates. and sell more of Course Ninja so they can get more commissions. So as you can see, this is a bit of a complex idea I'm asking ChatGPT to do. So I take it in stages. I first need to kind of teach it like a student what I want it to do.
12:04So first I say, hey, tell me what Course Ninja is. It comes back and tells me an answer. It's not a really correct answer. So I say, go to WebinarNinja.com slash Course Ninja and give me a description of what Course Ninja is. It did this. now the description was much better because I gave a direction. I then said, hey, I want to create a video script that is two minutes long for affiliates of Course Ninja. He gave me a script, but the script was not really what I wanted. It was talking a little bit about partners and not an actual affiliate program. Didn't fully understand the whole affiliate part.
12:40So I told it, hey, Course Ninja has an affiliate program that helps affiliates sell Course Ninja for commission and earn money. So again, I'm teaching ChatGPT what it is. It got it and it modified the script based on that. Then I said, okay, great. And it gives you like basically the basic version of that. And I say, okay, wonderful. I need you to give me some statistics and some references to statistics to beef up this script. I then teach it again. What I wanted to include, I'd say, hey, CourseSinger is all about the belief that live learning is the future of creators online. We believe that the future is live training because live training is far more effective and gets better results than recorded video.
13:24I then say, here's a few studies, and I reference the studies that prove this. Now, include this information in the script. Now, we're getting a really good script together. I then say, hey, research Omar Zinhome myself. He researches it. I said, can you please write this in the voice of Omar Zinhome? So, as you can see, I'm teaching it, I'm teaching it, I'm teaching it. And even with the end result of the script looks great, but I'll still make some edits. I'll still make some changes to the script, move things around, give my own flavor, maybe change the intro a little bit. I'll then even then pass it to my content writer, Connor, and get him to improve it.
14:02But we have really fast forwarded the process. Notice I still do a lot of writing myself. I still have Connor, a writer, because this just means I can accelerate and create more content with the power of chat and GBT. It's not a replacement of a writer. It's an enhancer. That wraps up today's lesson. And hey, go ahead and try one of these strategies. Earn a buck or two and tell me how it goes. Email me over at omar at 100mba.net. If you love the podcast, the best way to say you love it is to hit subscribe or follow. By doing that, you tell the algorithm, hey, this show is pretty awesome. 14:42Today is Free Art Friday, so let's see who won this week's free ride. And the winner is Danitza Nikolova. Danitza's review says insightful five stars. A ton of value. Keep rocking. Thank you, Danitza, for that amazing review. Your mission is to email me over at omar at 100mba.net so I can hook you up with the lifetime access to the$100 MBA live program. You can join us live and have lifetime access to the recordings. It's a two-day event. Can't wait to see you there. If you want to win a free ride, just leave us an Apple Podcast rating and review and you enter our weekly random draw. Listen in on Friday, just like right now to CV1.
15:16It's that easy. Before I go, I want to leave you with this. Technology is moving very, very fast and there's something new every day. When something comes up like ChatGPT, take a look at what you're already doing and see how you can enhance what you're already doing, speed up, improve, modify, make better, whatever you're already doing. That way you're not adding more to your to-do list. You're actually taking things away. So it's kind of kind of offload some tasks for you or speed things up for you or get you better results. This is really what technology should be doing is optimizing the tasks you're already doing.
15:49Thanks so much for listening and I'll check you in Monday's episode. I'll see you then. Take care.
16:11Thank you.
