In short

The Buckleys chat while hungover-ish and overheated, then celebrate National/International Fashion Day with fashion talk, “fashion trends invented by listeners,” and a fashion-themed trivia game (“Strike It Buckley”). They discuss drinking water instead of beer, body hair (“grown a tail”), heat-wave complaining, and fashion preferences (Fred Perry jeans, mod/60s style, grunge/60s/grunge switches after haircut).

Key claims

Storm energy drink is marketed as making you “smarter and more focused” (with caffeine, zero sugar, immunity support); Colgate Optic White removes “15 years” of deep-set stains via hydrogen peroxide complex; the hosts argue they’re allowed to complain about weather.

Notable examples

Oasis parka trend claim; “split the G” Guinness trend; white plimsolls/indie nights; skinny jeans/jegging era; Versace Medusa logo; waistcoats at the 2018 World Cup (Gareth Southgate); House of Gucci (Lady Gaga).

0:00Clair Buckley:Legally, we can't say drinking Storm makes you smarter and more focused. But with zero sugar, 200 milligrams of caffeine, and immunity support, you're smarter and more focused for drinking Storm. Storm. Good energy in, good energy out. Energy for life. Everyone knows that unexplainable it factor. That smile that lights up a room. That wow. Well, it doesn't happen by itself. There's chemistry behind the charisma. Colgate Optic White Pro Series toothpaste removes 15 years of deep-set stains when you brush twice daily for two weeks. How? The clinically proven formula is powered by Colgate's hydrogen peroxide complex.

0:34It works at the molecular level to gently dissolve stains deep within the enamel where your brush can't reach. It's proof that daily routine can be remarkable. That's the science of wow. Colgate Optic White. This episode is brought to you by State Farm. Listening to this podcast instead of doom scrolling? Smart move. Another smart move? Getting help from one of State Farm's 19 ,000 local agents when you choose to bundle home and auto. bundling just another way to save with the personal price plan prices are based on rating plans that vary by state coverage options are selected by the customer availability amount of discounts and savings and eligibility vary by state oh what's that you've got there in your glass it's water claire no way it's gonna break the internet when people see you drinking water the day encourages people to showcase their unique aesthetic aesthetic aesthetic aesthetic aesthetic

1:44Clair Buckley:Um, hello. Hello. Welcome, not you. Oh, sorry. To the listener. Here he goes. You're rude already. That's it, I'm done. I was happy for what, 0.3 seconds? I know I've upset you. Well, I feel, I'm not, but I feel hungover. But I'm not hungover. I feel like I'm hungover, but I'm not hungover. I just feel like it. Oh, okay. So you didn't drink anything? I drank yesterday, yeah. But I wouldn't have got really pissed or anything because I knew I had a podcast record to do the next day. Absolutely. So it's weird though. I still feel hungover, but I'm not hungover. Did you drink a lot though? I drank a bit.

2:51Clair Buckley:Yeah, I drank a little bit. Right. But you're not hungover? No, I just feel like it. Oh, okay. Anyway, cheers. Cheers. Hang on, I'm a bit shaky. Oh, what's that? You've got there in your glass? It's water, Claire. No way. It's going to break the internet when people see you drinking water. I feel a bit rough. There was a nice beer all set out for me, ready to go. Yeah. And I went, oh, can I have some water, please? First time ever. And just, you know, to let these guys peek behind the curtain. We're recording three episodes today. We are, yeah. And I feel fucked. It was the worst time. And you know, this is the only time we've ever had to do this.

3:34Yeah. Record more than... Yeah, fucked it.

3:36Clair Buckley:Fucked it, mate. You have, mate. You have. Do you know, I was laughing. You know, we're doing Gogglebox at the minute. Sure. and I watched one episode that we were in and you were the only person to say the F word. Right. And that's exactly what you said. Fucked it. Oh, he's fucked it. Oh, right. It was like a little baking programme. And everybody's gone, oh, oh no. And then it cuts you and you just go, he's fucked it. And I was like, oh, James. They said you're allowed to swear. Well, you are, obviously. Anyway, how are you? I'm okay. You look very nice today, Claire. Oh, thanks. It's very hot out there.

4:18Clair Buckley:It is, yeah. We've got the old air conditioning on. It's very hot outside. So if there's a little hum, what does that mean? I don't know. For some reason it sounded... There's a hum on the audio. Apologies, but it's way too hot to turn it off. Yeah. So that was actually what I was going to talk about. What? It's the most boring thing you could say right now. That it's hot? It's fucking hot. It is hot. I can't think of anything else. Yeah. Well, do you know what, though? My brain is just constantly going, God, it's fucking hot. Yeah. But I get, obviously, everybody's talking about, we've had a big old heat wave, haven't we, right?

4:56Clair Buckley:Yeah, I've got nothing to add to the discussion. Everybody's talking about it. Everyone's just bumping into each other in the street going, fucking weather, right? It's hot, yeah. But people always say, like I see a lot of posts and stuff, and people are always like, don't complain about how hot it is because we always complain that we get such crap weather. I'm not one of those people. Nobody can give me any trouble. I'm allowed to say I hate how hot it is because I love cold weather. Right. So when people are like, yeah, but don't complain about it. I don't think it's the cold weather people complain about.

5:28Clair Buckley:It's the wet weather. Rain and cold. I love that. So I'm allowed to say. So am I. I'm allowed to complain about whatever I want. I'm going to complain if it's too hot. I'm going to complain if it's too cold. and don't tell me what to do on the internet. You told me the other day. Freedom of speech. In the kitchen when I was complaining. What? That it was too hot. You were going, well, keep moaning about it, Claire. Yeah. So you're allowed to complain? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I've got different rules, to be honest. Right, okay, fine. No, I was just winding you up. Yeah, you've been trying to poke at me this morning.

6:03I have, yeah.

6:04Clair Buckley:I like to get you into a... You've been trying to wind me up. Yeah. I've been ignoring you. I know you have, yeah, you've made it very difficult. I'd like to get you a bit, you know, just that fury bubbling under to do these podcast records. I'd like to get you as angry as possible because I think that energy is funny. Well, I'm not angry. I'm actually quite happy. I know, yeah, you seem really chilled out. Oh, God, I think I'm going to be sick, Claire.

6:30Clair Buckley:Oh, fucking hell. Right, what else?

6:37you look very nice by the way I like that cardigan thank you it's not a cardigan it's like a it's like a

6:43Clair Buckley:little knitted knitted shirt shirt sort of thing you don't like my trainers though do you I'm not keen on the trainers I've got these trainers on a big old tongue there I've got these flappy tongues I liked them because they reminded me of the little football boots yeah they reminded me of Puma Kings right I was like yeah I'm into that I'm not massively keen on them do you know what you look like today what you look a bit Harry Styles right does doesn't he hmm not sure I like that that's a good thing yeah yeah he dresses well yeah but it's sort of like this is going to sound weird it's sort of like oh yeah because he's a good dresser I think Harry Styles yeah I think so well sometimes sometimes he goes a bit crazy but that's when he's on stage it's like it's a bit boring it's a bit sort of like oh yeah oh he's dressed like Harry Styles I don't know Everybody sort of dresses like that.

7:32Right, yeah.

7:33Clair Buckley:So I feel like I'm just part of the crowd now. No, you look great. Although your hairy chest is popping up today. Oh, no, I need to... Shown a lot of hair. I'm going to clipper it. No, you're not. I'm not going to, like, bald it. I'm just going to shave it down a little bit. Have you spoken about this on the podcast? Have I? Oh, have you? Twice it happened where somebody thought... Both women thought he had a hair stuck to his shirt and tried to pull it and he was like, ah! Yeah, right. The other day... Four women, Jess, did it? Yeah, no, the other day when I was just chatting, I was in the bedroom and I was just chatting to you and I've got like a tuft of hair at the top of my bum.

8:16It's really sexy. I was like pulling my tuft of hair

8:21Clair Buckley:and then I kept pulling it and there was two hairs that were about eight inches long. Honestly. he was chatting to me and then he just went Claire Claire and he like turned around and his hand was so far out and I was going and I didn't know what he was doing I was going what and then I seen him pulling it and like the skin on his back pulled out a bit I was like no way the fuck is that all about I'd grown a tail and you shouted Harrison in to come and see it yeah well it was I had to show him and then I pulled it out yeah you did it did freak me out a bit yeah Yeah, yeah. You're a hairy man. Yeah, but not in a sexy manly way.

9:06Clair Buckley:It is like pubes all over my body. Like, it's not like a rugged, thick... It's just long hairs all over my shoulders, all coming out my shirt. Your body hair, I've actually noticed, is straight. All my hair's straight. It's very straight. All my hair's straight. The pubes, they're straight. They're not straight. They look like they're combed. It looks like a Barbie doll's hair. It's not. It doesn't look like that. They're not curly. They don't curl or wave or anything. Fucking weird. I don't have any. It's the same with the hair on my head. I'm about to have my hair cut short. They're going to cut it again soon, I think.

9:53Clair Buckley:Yeah. But it just grows out. like this side's like just growing out I can't like flatten it down I can get this side flat yeah you do have a little bit of it's because it's just like play-doh

10:10anyway do you want a beer yet?

10:12Clair Buckley:no definitely not okay oh my god I'm getting worse yeah it's one of those ones I hate that I hate that anyway Claire it's National Fashion Day no Claire we've just been talking about how great you look You were just complimenting me on my fashion sense. It is actually National Fashion Day today. Not International Fashion Day. It's just national. That means just the UK. Might not even be this nation. Right. Just our nation. Somewhere somebody's celebrating it. In a nation somewhere there's National Fashion Day. Okay. It's a global occasion. What? Sorry.

10:55Guys, you can't be as shit as us. Come on. Right.

11:01Clair Buckley:So it's International National Fashion Day. Slash globally. It's a global occasion dedicated to celebrating self-expression and personal style through clothing, footwear and accessories. First established in 2016, the day encourages people to showcase their unique aesthetic. Aesthetic. Aesthetic. Aesthetic. Aesthetic. T-H. Yeah, but you don't Aesthetic You don't say it like that Aesthetic I've never heard anyone say it like that Well, you should have Because that's how you say it Anyway, would you say Would you say I'm fashionable? I don't even want to ask you that question Does it say that? You shouldn't ask questions like that You're asking for trouble, aren't you?

11:44Clair Buckley:Like I've never gone up to someone And gone Hey Hey, do you like the in-betweeners? Because you don't You know, you shouldn't ask those questions You might not like the answer I do. I've always said that, but yeah, I like how you dress. Yeah. Yeah, I do like how you dress. The only time, I mean, sometimes I'm like, James, whoa. Yeah, what's going on here? Come on, what's happening? Sometimes I like to sort of switch things up a little bit. Sometimes you push it a bit too far. But usually I like how you dress. Although it does make me think of the very first time we met, you were dressed insane.

12:17Clair Buckley:Yeah. Like one of the first times, well, no, the first time we met, I was like oh like because we'd already been chatting on the phone and stuff and I was like oh I really like him he's funny and then I seen you and I was like oh he's handsome and I was like go to do something about how he dresses no that was just a little thing but then I realised that's not how you dress no you just you picked a crazy outfit to come and meet me for the first time I was just a bit more bohemian I would flitter through he was wearing like blue chinos yeah with like big brown boots in a white t-shirt in like straps that connected to his trousers over his shoulder no they weren't over the shoulder which I think makes it worse were they hanging?

13:05they were just hanging

13:07Clair Buckley:it was the when was this sort of 2009 it was like the lumberjack look it was the layered that's what you kept saying it was all about layers and it was very sort of because everything was great except that remember that store where everything looked like it had been trampled by a horse. Yeah. It was stuff that I got for free. I used to do that all the time. I can see why. I was still only just getting used to making money when I first met you, to be honest with you. Yeah. So I was still like, if someone would say, oh, we'd like to send James some free clothes, I wouldn't bother asking who it's from.

13:46Clair Buckley:Or I'd just be like, yeah, I need some clothes. It's cold out. Yeah. That was the only, that's probably the worst time, I think, actually. That's the worst I've seen you dressed. Yeah. And it was the first time we met face to face. Well, I was just testing you. Yeah. Because I was like, I don't want to just, you know. Give me too much at once. Yeah. I'd have been overwhelmed. I don't want her to fall for me just because of my fashion sense. Right. Yeah. Well, I've seen past it. As you've got older, your fashion sense has changed a bit. I think you, in the past, I would say three or four years, you've become a little bit more adventurous.

14:26It's only because... Because it used to just be Fred Perry jeans.

14:29Clair Buckley:Well, that's it. That's what I like to wear. Yeah. But even I'm like, I don't know, I just feel like, I think people are bored looking at me. I mainly think about you. I dress for you. Whenever I put clothes on, what? That's not wrong, though, isn't it? That's the way it should be. No, you should dress for yourself. No, when I put clothes on, I want you to go, oh, that looks cool. Right. I don't care about me. I really don't. Because I would just wear Fred Perry and jeans. I like that, though. I know I like it too, but it's just a bit, after fucking 25 years of wearing it, sometimes you need to switch it up a little bit.

15:03I think my fashion sense has changed as well. But I've got two things where either I'm all in black or...

15:14Clair Buckley:I think it's easier for girls though Yeah I think we've got more choice I think you could be a bit sort of You could dress a bit 60s one day And then you could go a bit sort of grunge 90s True The next Whereas I feel like Especially when my hair's cut the way it normally is Yeah That I'm sort of just in this sort of You're in a mould, aren't you? This mod box Yeah And if I wore anything differently It'd be a bit like That's a bit weird True True So do you think your new haircut's actually making you wear different clothes? I think so, yeah. Well, yeah, my Fred Perry's and... They don't really match your hairstyle anymore.

15:52True, yeah.

15:53Clair Buckley:What about any fashion faux pas apart from the, well, the suspenders? I've covered your, yeah, the suspenders. Have you ever done something over the last couple of years where you've been like, I wore it once because I thought, but then you wear it and you're like... Yeah. Yeah, I feel like I do that quite a lot. I think what happens with me is sometimes I'll leave the hearse and I'll look at myself in the mirror and I'll be like, yeah, that's cute. And then you see pictures, like if I go on a night out or whatever and I see pictures of myself and I'm like, oh, that wasn't as cute as I thought it was actually.

16:29But I think if you feel good in what you're wearing, you don't really, I think I'm so much more confident if I like my outfit.

16:38Clair Buckley:Right. Have you got any fashion icks, Claire? I fucking hate the word ick. You do. You bring this up all the time. I feel stupid. All right. Well, something you hate then. Something that gives you... Something cringey. Do you prefer that? Yeah, I do, actually. Fashion cringe. Yeah. Suspenders. Yeah. Yeah. Well, I was thinking about getting sock suspenders. Because sometimes I like to wear a trouser that's a bit jack up. Yeah. And then my socks come down. Yeah. you see my leg but I don't want you to see my leg I just want I just want you to see that are they new socks again yeah they're new socks yeah you want to throw some old ones away the amount of socks you've got and every time I bloody look at you you've got a new pair on I like new I like to treat myself to some new socks every now and again chuck out some old ones is what I'm saying well but I use the old ones still there's no room in the drawer I can still squeeze some more in there okay do I have any fashion X yeah I don't think I do to be honest I don't really look at what people wear a lot.

17:42Smart shoes with no socks on. That's a bad look.

Read the full transcript

17:45Clair Buckley:Yeah, I've got lots of mates that do that. That's a bad look. I don't do it. Oh, I'll tell you what, isn't it? The really, really skinny jeans with the boys on a night. They're really, really, really skinny jeans. Yeah, I used to wear those. Yeah, but you did it in a kind of like Pete Doherty, rock star way. I'm talking like the Essex boy look, I guess. That was it. You were like alt-Essex boy. Yeah, so this was like, I don't know, 2003, 2004. Yeah. You still see some really skinny jeans though on a night up. I think that's over. That stuff then gets... Just quickly scanning the room for making sure nobody's wearing skinny jeans.

18:27No, that stuff that is fashionable gets mocked and teased.

18:33Clair Buckley:Say Harry Styles wears something and it's a bit wacky and a bit out there. Yeah. But you go, do you know what? That's wacky and out there. But he looks quite cool. Yeah. So a couple of people will go, oh, I'm going to dress like that. Yeah. And then it will be like, oh, will you dress? And then your mates down the public are like, oh, fucking, will you dress like that for? Then it gets adopted by the helmets. Right. Which are, you know, my mates, by the way. Yeah. Then it gets adopted by them and they start doing it about 15 years after you stopped doing it. Yeah. And that's the skinny jeans thing.

19:07Clair Buckley:And then there's that famous meme. It's like that picture, isn't it, of like four, three or four guys. I think they put the in-betweeners, our heads on them as well. Like that goes around quite a lot. I mean, I know something that we've both got a problem with and we've spoke about it a lot on this podcast. Crocs. Crocs, yeah. I just think... We're always slagging Crocs off. I just think... I understand them. I understand them. I do. Jude wears them all the time. Jude wears them all the time. Well, yeah, because it just makes it easier for hockey training and stuff. When he goes to training and stuff.

19:38Yeah, it's easy.

19:39Clair Buckley:I get them. I get... But it is like you've just given up. I tell you what I don't like. The man bag. I'm not a fan of the man bag. So this is what... Actually, it was even worse than the man bag. Just a guy carrying around a bum bag like a handbag. Practical. Practical. It's the crocs of bags. Yeah. The bum bag. Yeah. This is why I like my Fred Perrys and my jeans and my 60s. Yeah. I feel like I'm not following a trend. I feel like I'm still being influenced by the music and the bands that I like and stuff, but I'm not doing it because everyone else is doing it. And that's what International National Fashion Day is about.

20:31Clair Buckley:Global National Fashion Day. Yeah, yeah. It's about being a bit different and being a bit out there. Yeah, I like it. I like when I see people dress differently. It makes me happy for them. Right, let's have a quick swipe there, Claire, because we've got some trends invented by our listeners. Okay, right. Do you hear that? sounds like breakfast is ready because Quaker's coming in hot with morning nutrition 100 % whole grain oats and a good source of fiber to fuel the rhythm of your morning and kickstart your day and that sounds absolutely delicious fuel to start whatever's next Quaker, official sponsor of FIFA World Cup 26 I, O, let's go So, Claire, we've got some more trends invented by our listeners.

21:23Love it.

21:24Clair Buckley:I should probably say, this has become a bit of a feature, isn't it? It's because everybody thinks they've done it. I should say, that's what it is. Yeah. That's how I explain this feature to begin with. Those things that you think you've done. They know. That you know you haven't. They know. Yeah. They know they're going to write in and we're going to go, no, you didn't. Here's one from Harry. Harry. Harry says, I am a generational trendsetter. Oh. Go on, Harry. Back in 2010, as a 14-year-old, I was absolutely obsessed with Oasis. I still am. I had the parka jacket, the haircut, despite being ginger.

22:05Clair Buckley:And on GCSE music days, I'd walk around with my Union Jack Epiphone Supernova strapped to my back like I was about to play Main Road. Cool. Everyone thought I was a complete idiot. Fast forward 15 years, now every person in Britain owns an Oasis jacket. Right, I'll be honest, Harry. Harry, what are you talking about? You can't... You can't claim this one. First of all, it's not an Oasis jacket. The parka was, I mean, Quadrophenia made the parka for me. This is the problem, Harry. You're too behind. You can't... You've not even got it right. You can't say in 2010 I set the trend of a parka. Same with Guinness, he says.

22:54Clair Buckley:Fucking hell. Is it still Harry? Yeah. I used to nick cans out of my stepdad's fridge and turn up to house parties drinking Guinness while everyone else was on fruity cider. Now every lad in a quarter zip is obsessed with splitting the G. Basically, I walked so the current generation could run. Kind regards, Harry. I love that from Harry Harry you fucking blew the doors off mate good for you man have you seen the new thing not splitting the G have you seen the thing for Birra Moretti you know the Birra Moretti it's like a guy if you think of the bottle but on the glasses you get it's like a guy with his arm like that and it's called setting the table and you've got to get the beer right under his arm so it looks like he's leaning on the beer Oh, God.

23:44No?

23:45Clair Buckley:It's boring, isn't it? Don't like that? No. I don't like the split in the G thing either. No, I don't either. Got another one here from Joe. Hello, Buckleys. Here is a fashion trend I started. Back in school, during the noughties, plimsolls were the slightly embarrassing footwear you used to wear during PE. But one day, in an unnamed Essex market, I saw a pair of white plimsolls. I was intrigued. I thought they looked quite nice. So I bought a pair and prepared for the inevitable backlash of knocking about in footwear only deemed acceptable in the school hall. I got a couple of snarky comments.

24:19Clair Buckley:But then, like wildfire, white plimsoes started popping up on everyone's feet. I don't have the exact dates, but I think this is definite proof that I started this. Indie bands of the 2000s, you're welcome. I had a load of pair of those and it wasn't at Essex. We travelled into Brick Lane. You get them for a fiver on Brick Lane. Hold on, are you? All my mates had it. All my mates that were in bands and stuff, we all wore these five pound cheap plimpsoles that you'd wear to death. Are you talking about actual like sand shoes? Because we didn't call them plimpsoles, we called them sand shoes. Yeah, they're like those, but they had laces.

24:54Clair Buckley:They weren't just... So you're talking about like white, the kind of white vans look? Yeah. Right. Yeah. Right. See, that's not... But they sold them in some shop on Brick Lane. It was quite, it was, I don't know, for about six months it was a thing. Right. And everyone went to Brick Lane to get these white plimps. Well, say thank you to Joe. On all the indie nights. Thursday nights in Bromford. Everyone would wear super skinny jeans. Everyone just wanted to look like they were in the Strokes, basically. Yes, right. The Strokes, the Libertines. Yeah. They really did set that trend. Yeah. I always remember the Libertines with skinny, skinny jeans in the boots.

25:32Yeah, yeah.

25:33Clair Buckley:Winklepicker. Yeah. The Chelsea boot. Chelsea boots, yeah. I've got a Marine, American Marines dress jacket. Yeah, you do. Like the one Pete Doherty wore on that album cover, wasn't I? I used to wear that for a bit. Yeah, it wasn't the, they wore the red ones, the beefeet sort of ones. I had a black one. But it's got red lining. Yeah, it's got something like that. It's got all the buttons. Yeah. I wore it for a photo shoot and I said, oh, can I keep that? Right. And the lady that got all the clothes and stuff was like, yeah, yeah, sure, no worries. I remember that. I wore it out a couple of times on those indie nights.

26:12Oh. Worked, did it?

26:14Clair Buckley:It got some looks, Claire. Did it? There was a lot of smiles. A lot of female gaze. A lot of female smiling, laughing, that sort of thing. I was like, this is definitely having a positive effect. Pointing as well? Yeah, pointing. And I was thinking, this is having a positive effect. Love that. Because I assume if they were pointing and looking angry, they would be upset. Sure. But because they were like, some of them were like tears in their eyes. Just really laughing. Pointing and laughing, holding onto their stomachs. Yeah. Yeah, I'm making a lot of people happy right now. See, the irony is, James, I loved that when you wore that.

26:49Clair Buckley:Can't wear it now. To be fair, that happened to me the other day, actually, and it was quite depressing. I've got this little dress, right, and I got it, oh God, 20 years ago. and it's tiny and it was really expensive and that's why I've kept it. It's like a little silk dress and I was looking for something the other day and I pulled it out and I just looked at it and I was like, holy shit. You'd be lucky if that would go over my thigh. Do you know, I can still fit into your wedding dress.

27:19Clair Buckley:I just thought I'd subvert that thing a little bit. This one's here from Billy. It says, hello James and Claire. Here's a trend I invented and I'm not quite sure if I should be proud of it or not. In the early 2000s, it was as if lads were competing to find the skinniest jeans possible. Put it this way, I saw a lot of packages I'd never seen before. I was also joining the hunt until I had an idea. What if I could wear my sister's jeans? I raided her wardrobe, found a lovely pair of drain pipes, took a deep breath, squeezed them on, then off I went. Perfect fit on the legs, less so on the crotch.

27:57Clair Buckley:things we did for fashion. I told my mates and was met with intrigue. Cut to a few weeks later and all the boys were wearing Topshop. Those were the days. Yeah. That was a thing. I do remember that. You must have had some girls' dreams. Yeah, of course you did. Yeah, yeah. I was in Topshop all the time along Oxford Street. Not Topman? Yeah, both. Both. I'd go through both. Right. Do you remember the, I thought what he was going to say, but I think this was too far for boys I don't think I've seen boys wearing these but do you remember the jegging yeah I had jeggings you had jeggings yeah yeah the leggings that looked like jeans yeah yeah I had jeggings you didn't yeah yeah yeah I had jeggings oh I'd like to see a picture of that I had jeggings boy

28:45Clair Buckley:listen I am just going to say officially that Billy Joe and Harry Harry if you guys believe you started those trends then you started them. That's all this needs to be. I had the skinny jeans, boots, waistcoat, scarf. The scarf, you loved a scarf, yeah. You used to steal your mum's scarves, didn't you? Yeah, I had a little silver sequined scarf I wore out. I've actually thought of something that I think I started now that you've said that. Go on. Do you remember it became, scarves were a thing for a long time, just like these really thin little scarves. and I'm pretty sure that I was the first one to wear the scarves with the skulls on it and then that became girls everywhere were wearing them and I was like you don't even like skulls I can tell by looking at you I used to go I used to like be in Brick Lane Camden all the time I don't know why doing nothing by the way because you were cool just hanging out just sat on a wall yeah that's where you needed to be seen yeah what you're not going to pull on a pair of jeggings for nothing man exactly yeah you gotta go out there and let people see it but that was the thing I was like these jeggings are gonna fucking blow everyone's minds in Essex yeah they're not gonna be able to handle it I need to be in London with my people gotta go to Camden I think you gotta go through that period in your life yeah you sort of I was like from the age of about 14 yeah to 19 I was like constantly just going jumping on the tube going to London yeah hanging outside the Hawley Arms or something to see if you could spot Amy Winehouse or something I thought Pete's in there I think Pete's in there have you heard have you heard Pete's in there fucking is he really do you think we could be mates I know do you think he'd start a band with me that's what I used to think I know that's good I used to generally be like oh fucking Pete or Carl see me they're gonna go get him in the band don't let him slip away get that kid in the band right now he's clearly one of us anyway let's have a little swipe Claire and then and then I've got a feature for you oh and I think I know where it is so don't you be looking yeah yeah I've not looked anyway that gives away the feature anyway see you in a sec anyway bye anyway right put your iPad down you big cheater no I've not looked lock it put it in your pocket save it for later yeah right you ready are you still drunk?
