An awful lot of times people contact me and one thing that is top of list in terms of being able to successfully do business acquisitions is you truly have to believe that you can do this. Understand in the process, understand that it's worked for others, understand the steps and what to do, and then understand that you yourself can complete this. You have to believe that. You have to think, okay, you know, I don't know everything, but I can put people around me that do know things that I don't know. I can take action.
45I'm not afraid to step into being uncomfortable and outside my comfort zone. And self-esteem and certainly self-image is something that everybody struggles with to improve and primarily you improve that by doing things outside your comfort zone and then you get more and more comfortable. A great example of that is cold calling. People are terrified and think that it's an 800-pound phone when they first start to pick it up and call, but eventually they realize nobody that I'm aware of has ever died from cold calling. Yes, not every call is going to go great, but some calls will go great. and that will change your attitude.
32So you'll get comfortable with being uncomfortable, essentially. And so that's the first thing to think about, to really believe that you want to do this and can do that. And towards that end, it's important to understand why you want to do this on a personal level and to give some thought to how you want to make this company different, what the goals are you want from your acquisition company. Get clear on all that. Do affirmations. Do the things that we've talked about. But one of the things that a lot of times I hear is, well, I don't think I'm ready quite to do this. And I run a VIP mastermind.
16There are some spots in that that are now open. This may be the last VIP mastermind that I do. I'm not sure of that. My wife keeps asking me, when am I going to retire? It's a good question. But if it is the last one, there are opportunities which are fleeting. And if this is something you want to do, I would encourage you to go over to brucewhipple.com, look at the information under coaching, look at the VIP mastermind. You're going to see that it says sold out. Don't pay attention to that under the pricing section. And the reason for that is I like to talk to people before I bring them into that group to make sure it's going to be a fit, make sure that I think we can work together, those sort of things.
07So understand the commitment, understand the time frame, and then send me an email, bruce at brucewhipple.com, and we'll go through and see whether or not it's a good fit for both of us to work together. And if we determine that it is a good fit, then let's begin. And sometimes that does require a leap of faith to say, you know, I'm not 100 % sure, but yeah, let's give this a go. Most of the time, the anticipation and the fear of something is far worse than the actual event itself. And you can think back on your life to those things that you were terrified or afraid to do, then you did them and you said, oh, that wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be.
51And that's almost always the case. So I'd encourage you to do that again. If the VIP Mastermind, which is one of the best programs that I've done, and you can see the people that I've mentored most closely in the Pantheon, bruswhipplepantheon.com, listen to the Gabriel interview, watch that. watch the Amir interview as well and see that this is possible for some people I can't guarantee your success but some people so yes go ahead and do that take a leap of faith contact me at bruce at brucewhipple.com and we'll talk and see if if you're a fit if you understand what the time and financial commitment is first and you can see that at the website if you're interested in how you begin maybe to reach out to some people.
41I created a free class. You can go over to brucewhipple.com, just put your email in that free class, and that will give you access to the emails I do each week. Not only will you get the free class on conversation starters, etc., with templates, but you'll also get additional emails, and those are action-oriented, what I think would help you. So I'd encourage you to do those things. I'd encourage you to take a leap of faith and get started. Time waits for no one, and that, as you get older, you will appreciate more and more how fleeting time is. So I hope you do that, and if that's of interest, I look forward to talking to you.
