That is what Chris wrote to me after our two-day virtual training event, which is part of the VIP Mastermind. We do two days of virtual training with my marketing director and myself twice a year. And so we just finished that up on Thursday and Friday of last week, and it was one of the best ones. what's changing in terms of technology is just incredible and how we can apply that to this business acquisition journey. So I want to read to you what Chris wrote to me. Attending the two-day event was a complete game changer for me. It felt like I finally reached the top of the mountain in terms of the tactical insights I've been searching for.
50If there's any secret sauce to this process, you and John covered it thoroughly in the event. I'm deeply grateful for the opportunity to attend and for everything it's unlocked for me. The event was exactly what I've come to expect from Bruce, high value and impactful. Since working together, the impact you've made and the personal transformation I've experienced has been profound, truly. I was deeply depressed, full of regret and going nowhere. Now I'm confident and passionate and a business owner, enjoying the increasing choices and freedoms that come with it. Without your guidance, that would not have happened.
29Even as I have stumbled and fallen along the way, you have never let me down, never wavered in your commitment to my success, and have always had my best interests at heart. The impact you've had on me and on my family is something we'll be forever grateful for. I'm excited about my continued growth and success through the VIP Mastermind program. And I appreciate that. One of the reasons I do what I do is to see people who maybe didn't think that they could accomplish what they have now accomplished and still can accomplish. And Chris has acquired a business. He's loving doing the work. He's passionate about it.
10and now he wants to do more of it through additional acquisitions. So thank you for those comments, Chris. I am, as well, forever grateful for the mentors that I had. I learned this process through a mentor that has changed my life, certainly. And what I've seen is that there is a process by which continuous improvement can be worked. What worked 10 years ago, some of it worked, but some of it doesn't work. There are new tools. There is certainly AI and how you can implement that, and those are some of the things we covered. So if you sit on your laurels, most of the time the competition will catch and bypass you.
54So continuous improvement, I'd love to see you make that part of what you do. If you've never read it, a book called The Goal by Goldrat. It's been around a long time, but it's written more like a novel. It was very impactful on the manufacturing community back in the 80s. But it's about how you look for bottlenecks, clear that bottleneck, and then clear the next one and the next one to get more efficient, do more, and continue on. So I'm glad we had that two-day event. We're going to have another two-day event. There are some spots in the VIP Mastermind. So if that has interest to you, just go over to BruceWhipple.com and go under the coaching and you'll see the VIP Mastermind.
39If you want to go there directly, just go to briswipple.com forward slash VIP Mastermind. But thank you, Chris, for those comments. It's great to put the work in that John and I did into that two-day event and even greater to see that it's appreciated and put into action. At the end of the day, action is what is going to be the largest part of your success if you know what to do and if you're doing it right and if you have the right team around you and the continued input from that team, from mentors, from coaches that have been there and done that. So thank you again and for those that are looking at their business acquisition journey and wanted to move faster, the VIP Mastermind might be a very good way to do that.
