I called him up and I said, I have to take this shot. I had to give myself a chance. And Bruce allowed me to join the course. And I realized I now have 10 advisors that are amazing, have done incredible things in their lives, including Bruce, who's helping me be a guide in my life and my business. and literally two months ago I had zero yeah I wouldn't have thought that you could have assembled them two months ago you for most of the time that's that's true uh is it well no you know I'm a plumber so why would they want to do something with me and you find out if you do the right things I specifically remember talking to one of my best buddies I grew up with and um i kind of told him the plan before i got i got into his program and he's like why why would anyone want to do this with you giving equity like that doesn't why but it happened and people want to be involved it's it's it just blows my mind you know it's so i'm just grateful i'm grateful to you bruce and i'm grateful for the rest of this entire uh group and i'm just super excited for what's coming up here.
1:27So yeah, good. Well, thank you for that. The, uh, and then, you know, most of the people that you were hanging around with, that includes family, friends, all the other stuff. They're not going to get this, you know, oh man, you know, I read so many stories about businesses going bust and you should just be happy with being a plumber and you're making some good money. and that's the majority of what you're going to hear. And so, yeah. That's literally what they exactly said because I'm the general manager now and I probably make the most amount of money out of my friends. I was like, why aren't you happy?
2:09I'm like, I just think I can do so much more bigger things in my life. Yeah, absolutely. And it's not all about the money. I mean, you know, is the money good? Sure. You know, does money help you buy stuff? Yeah, it does, and contribute to people and all that other stuff. But, you know, there's a feeling of accomplishment, which is worthwhile for tackling something. All the people that you help and give jobs to that maybe couldn't afford before to send somebody to college, I don't know, or whatever. You know, then you begin to think on a bigger picture, you know, and that can be very motivational.
2:48You know, because you'll be, you know, in charge, responsible for 20 people, 100 people, 1 ,000 people, 10 ,000 people. I don't know what the number is, but you're responsible in some way. They're responsible as well, but for their lives. Good for you. And it's, you can always do things faster, but, you know, one of the things from my outside looking in, you have assembled what I think is a good board. I've been there, done that kind of guys. And that's important. That's very important. So because people will look at that and say, I mean, these are some accomplished guys. So I don't know. I mean, I guess I read that JP was a plumber, but shit.
3:32I mean, these guys must have seen something that maybe I should take a look at and see myself kind of thing. So, yeah, good for you.
