That means if you're one of the more than 2 million New Yorkers who lives in a rent-stabilized apartment, your rent's going to be frozen next year.

52:32Folks, there is a way to control rent. It's called pricing. When the government controls rent, what the government does is decrease the supply of apartments because a landlord who just bought a building, who may have invested his life into it, is not going to rent an apartment where he can't make an income on the apartment. He's not going to lose money. I know this is hard for you morons on the left to understand. So what happens? They shrink the supply of apartments. What also happens? You get increased demand. Because if I can rent a$1 ,000 apartment, $1 ,000 a month, or$1 ,750, Chavalier's dad's condo price, apparently, according to the Post.

53:15If I can rent it for$1 ,000, there's going to be tons of applications because that's not the market price. Then you get black markets, which you have in New York with subletting. And you get quality problems because landlords don't invest in property they can't make money on. How is this hard?

1:11:46This sort of thing could only happen in America. As an Englishman, I never really understood what America has to make it the, quote, land of opportunity. But results speak for themselves. Also about mail-in balloting, where I think they went wrong on that. How we lost that is just astonishing. I, with due respect to the Supreme Court, they were way off on that. It's election day. Election day. And them saying, well, the election's not over until the voting is complete. That's like saying a test isn't over until the test taking is complete.
