In short
Dan Bongino argues the midterm election is about to become a high-stakes “bloodbath” scenario in some states, but insists Republicans can still win if supporters show up and vote. He criticizes “doomers” and “fraud/MAGA counter-messaging” that he claims suppress turnout, and he frames Democratic policies as leading to open borders, higher crime, and more government corruption. He also cites alleged DOJ/FBI personnel changes as evidence of reforms, and uses a “play the game” sports analogy (1980 U.S. hockey team) to urge persistence.
Guest backgrounds
No guests are interviewed in the provided transcript. Bongino mentions “Coach Bruce Pearl” as an upcoming guest later, but details are not included here.
Key claims
Halperin/Calpern sources say even “safe” Republican seats (e.g., Iowa, Kansas, Florida) could be at risk. “Folex MAGA” and some foreign influence allegedly run intentional counter-messaging to reduce GOP turnout. Voting is portrayed as necessary to prevent open borders and renewed policies like defunding police. Bongino claims DOJ civil-rights efforts improved after Biden holdovers left, and cites reporting about FBI leadership departures as “fixing a car,” not a “purge.” He claims Obamacare fraud was detected using AI.
Notable examples
Daily Mail/Halperin panic narrative; “1980 Miracle on Ice” odds (roughly +600 to +1,000 for USA); Luis Brocamontes courtroom remarks about killing cops (Sacramento case); Obamacare fraud detection via AI and missing Social Security numbers; Boeing export news (Turkey/Bangladesh orders) and claims about rising U.S. manufacturing investment.

Please stay tuned. And Coach Bruce Pearl, one of the favorites coming up at the end. We're going to talk about NIL, college sports, the SEC, love in America, all kinds of great stuff. So don't miss that. Hey, these weight loss injections, they're everywhere. You read about them all the time. But here's the catch. Did you know this? about 15 % of users quit because of the cost. Another 15 % stopped because of side effects.
2:45A while back, I had to drop some pounds. You know, I've told you the story. I had just come through a healthcare crisis. I was not eating great. I weighed 238 pounds. I strongly encourage you to go look at the old rumble videos from back then. You're going to see my face was a little rounder, right, Guy? Maybe a lot rounder. Can you pull one? Yes, I proved my point. I was eating really bad. I went through cancer and, you know, I just was like, I'm going to tell you, I just was like whatever people do in front of me, I gain weight. I called Miles from Brickhouse, true story. I said, hey man, you guys got like some weight loss?
3:19He said, hey, we're working on this product called Lean. I took it. I'm not messing with you. I dropped well over 38 pounds. I was 195 this morning. I still use it. L-E-A-N, the product is great. Paula uses it too. We love the product. I encourage you to check it out. It's from Brickhouse Nutrition. Lean was doctor formulated things. Wow. Look at that picture. You see that? My face is a whole lot bigger back then. Good job, guys. Lean helped me tackle my hunger, helped support steady energy without constant cravings, and lean did something injections don't. It helped turn my body fat into energy, so I burn fat instead of storing it.
3:54My favorite part, lean is a nutritional supplement. It's not an injection. It works. People call me all the time and ask, of course. What would I tell you otherwise? No prescriptions, no needles. I lost weight with lean. I believe you can too. My joints feel better or two. I guess I'm down to about 194 now. Go to BrickHouseNutrition.com slash Dan. Use promo code Dan for 20 % off. It was kind of 50-50, you think? All right. So I'm going to give you the bad news first, so we end with some good news. Here is the bad news. A Daily Mail article came out, and you know, it's the Daily Mail, so let's be honest. Like the headlines are always going to be a little hysterical.
6:06I'm not mad at them, whatever. Do your thing. Media does their thing, whatever. I don't do those hysterical headlines. We try not to. When I do, I call myself out on it. Sometimes we just miss something. The Daily Mail story is this. Mark Calpern, who's a pretty good political analyst, he's been around the block, is saying, listen, I'm getting panicked calls from Republican activists saying that the midterm elections are going to be essentially a bloodbath. This could be like a blue tsunami. I don't. I mean, the election hasn't happened yet. If people don't show up, that certainly could happen.
6:42I don't believe that. I choose to manifest good things. I believe I have a country to save. I'm not a doomer. If we lose, I'm going to get dusting off the next day and get ready for the next fight in the presidential. However, we shouldn't ignore this. So the headline is this, Daily Mail, Mark Halperin. You can see the date. I think it was yesterday. I can't get that. I never even pay attention to the date. It was yesterday. He says, quote, my Trump sources say the president's worst nightmare imaginable has finally arrived. Panic texts and emails from GOP insiders are blowing up my phone. They're all saying the same thing.
7:18Well, what are they saying? The gist of the article is what I just told you, that there's a lot of Republicans out there who feel like even safe seats could be up for grabs. I'm just telling you what the article says. And I want to make a point on this. And this is why it's the bad news. They're suggesting to Mark Calprin, a very talented political analyst, again, in this piece, and he's not a hysterical guy either. He's not like Brian Stelter's, ah, the potato head screaming from the rafters, whatever. pretty relatively down the middle guy. They're suggesting that seats in Iowa, Senate seats in Kansas, I mean, blood red states may be up for grabs.
8:00That, ladies and gentlemen, would be an electoral apocalypse. If they're suggesting also that where we live, Guy, Justin, and the rest of my crew, where we live in Florida, that there could be seats up for grabs. Listen, personally, I doubt that. I have not have you guys heard anything like that Justin you're pretty worried I haven't heard anything like that either but I'm not going to ignore it and just pretend like oh you know whistling past the graveyard I'm not going to do that I lived in Glendale Queens you can look it up Glendale Queens is known for two things I grew up around bars and graveyards look it up yourself Glendale Queens in New York so we whistled we were whistling past the graveyard all day because there were cemeteries everywhere I worked in one Mount Carmel Cemetery if anyone ever hacks my employment records that's what that was I worked with the grave diggers when I was a kid yes that's what I did I'm not whistling past any graveyards okay if this is accurate and I have no reason to believe Halpern who's not a hysterical guy is lying that means one thing that means we have to do more work because the election hasn't happened yet and as I told you we are not we have agency in other words there's something we can do to fix this we can actually go play the game it's like people telling you and the miracle on ice 1980 u.s hockey team that beat the russians despite the thousand and one odds or whatever it was a lot imagine saying before the game guys it's over there's a thousand one odds the math says you're going to lose okay they didn't lose they won but why because they wouldn't play the game and they played harder than the russians that's why they won if we play harder than the democrats folks we can win we have the votes to do it how do i know that because we just won a presidential election two years ago that everybody told us we were going to lose to folks we got a country to save but i'm this part stings but it's true i put this post up yesterday and i got a lot of feedback on this a lot of good feedback some from folks like dan maybe you should tell people who you're talking about no you haven't earned that right and folks i don't want anyone distracted in i'm just going to be straight with you podcast wars that are irrelevant to saving the country the only reason i'm talking about this and that is relevant at all so why bring it up is because i'm going to deliver some more bad news folks these doomers and gloomers have had an impact i was talking to a good friend of mine he knows who he is i went over to visit his new studio be a guest on the show yesterday and his whole team and folks the counter messaging is real.
10:40Put up that post on X I put up yesterday. Have you noticed this, especially in the last few weeks? This is my X account from yesterday. You can see the date. Be sure to notice the goons and frauds who are now upping their MAGA counter-messaging, agitprop BS, just weeks before a critical election. In all caps, this is all intentional. They want the communists to win. They share the same worldview. Fact. It is a fact.
11:09why aren't you making because it's not important what's important you understand is that there are folex maga people out there who now you're seeing just you guys notice this too just like random conspiracy theories popping up out of nowhere donald trump has a as a ward on his back that's cancerous he's gonna die tomorrow you're like what where did that even come from This stuff is all meant to diminish Republican turnout because Folex MAGA, I've been warning you about this since I've been back on the air, not only wants you to lose, but needs you to lose because they want to say after the election, we told you, you should have listened to us.
11:49They are doing everything they can. This election, some of this is paid for, by the way, by foreign governments, not all of it, but some of it. It's intentional. it's intentional i'm begging you as a friend as a friend i mean it please do not get distracted with 40 days left we've got a country to save folks we can still go play the 1980 hockey game against the russians and win despite being can you look that up uh one of you guys on chat gpt What were the odds for the Russia 1980 U.S. hockey team? I'm just curious. Everybody told them they were going to lose. The 1980 U.S. hockey team played the Russians in an exhibition months earlier and got destroyed.
12:37They were the greatest team in the history of hockey. They were told, you're just a bunch of college kids. You're never going to win. And they won the game because they had a country to save in the stagflation era. And they went out there and played the damn game and won. you recognize the odds. You read the Daily Mail pieces. You don't ignore it. I'm not ignoring people in Iowa saying, hey, we could be in trouble in Iowa. I'm not ignoring it. It does us no good to say, oh, no big deal. No, it is a big deal. Yes, we mean it. What were the odds? Wow. Plus 600 to 1 ,000, but USA Soviet Union, roughly minus 350 to minus 500.
13:22a$100 bet for example a$100 bet would have netted $600 plus the original 100 stake wow about a 14 % chance that's crazy I'll be honest with you I thought it was even worse than that but I'm glad you see and they played the game and won I guarantee you it's funny they probably give the Republicans about a 15 % chance right what are the odds ask them ask what are the Republican odds of holding the house I'll bet it's roughly in the same territory but you show up and you play the game. It is our job. We've got a country to save. Do you want Bidenflation back? Do you want open borders back? Do you want defund the police back?
14:00Do you want George Floyd riots back? Do you want our military heroes being crapped on again? I don't want that. Win the game. We can still go out and play and do whatever we can. And if we lose, we lose honorably. We lose with nothing left in the gas tank. We gave it everything we had. and so did the 10 people we dragged with us to the polls.
14:23Folks, I have no ulterior motive. There's no foreign government paying me. We have sponsors like everyone else. They don't get involved in our politics at all. It just keeps the show free for you. This is just me, your friend, Dan, who's been with you for 10 years, talking to you, the P1 listeners who's been there with us. Go play the game. Leave everything on the ice. And if we lose, we hang our heads high and we get up the next day and we fight again. Oh, I don't want to hear that. I'm not giving up. I've been through so many elections with you over the 15 years I've been doing commentary and 10 plus years in this show.
15:05I'm not giving up. I was told to give up after Obama won the second time. I was right. Look, what are the odds? GOP holds the House, 7 to 10%. Senate, 35, 40%. GOP holds both, 8%. About the same odds of the U.S. hockey team. Go out and play the freaking game.
15:29We got nowhere else to go. Hey, man, you got nowhere else to go. No, I'm serious. You live in the greatest country on earth. You've got kids. I've got kids. You've got parents. You've got friends. You've got businesses. Where else are we going to go? We're going to lose to the Islamo fanatics and the socialists because we're teaching Republicans a lesson. You're not teaching anybody a lesson but yourself.
15:59Folks, when the greatest broadcaster of conservative ideas of all time, Rush Limbaugh, passed, it left a hole in this movement. I discussed this on the radio show yesterday. For those who missed it, there's different content on the radio. I just want to make sure I put that out there. But I discussed on the radio yesterday how, I'm sorry, I don't mean to turn in a man card, but thinking about what Rush, I'm a conservative because of Rush, so are many of you. When Rush Limbaugh died, it wasn't just that, use a sports analogy, that Rush Limbaugh was like Wayne Gretzky, the greatest hockey player of all time.
16:40Who knows how many MVPs he won. It was that Rush Limbaugh was Wayne Gretzky for 30 years. Wayne Gretzky wasn't Wayne Gretzky for 30 years. He had like a 15-year run. Rush Limbaugh for decades was Wayne Gretzky. And not only was he Wayne Gretzky for 30 years, he invented hockey. There's no conservative talk radio anywhere. There's no Beck, Hannity, Levin, Bongino, Vince, Clay, Travis, Dana. No one without Rush. zero without Rush Limbaugh so even if you're a doomer on my show that likes to troll the chat whatever man I told you I don't like start threatening people whatever but even if you're a doomer in my chat and you're like Dan I'm still warming up to you cool fine let me establish bona fides with you I'm cool with that but I guarantee you we all trusted Limbaugh because he'd been with us as the godfather for 30 years if you're ready to give up either now or even if election day isn't great and you don't want to listen to me and say hey we got a country to save there is no giving up there's dusting off and fighting again then listen to the i mean the greatest of all time this was russia's message for 30 years despite bill clinton barack obama know what we are never ever giving up because there's nowhere else to go check this out we are not sunk yet we will never surrender we will never give up never never never it's not who we are it's not what we do we never give up
18:28mlw 1960 in the chat i miss rush cksb i listen to rush every day i love rush i see the chat just blowing up american flags in the chat in honor of the greatest of all time folks i'm going to tell you something when when when i i'm not even going to say took over because anything I say is going to sound terrible. When Rush passed way too early and I was asked to cover his spot on some, we were on like 250 stations, Clay and Bucket, Dana has other ones. I'm going to tell you something that I've told you, I was almost like embarrassed to be in the spot. The only reason I took it was because someone had to fill it.
19:11And I just felt like the best I can do is honor his legacy by advancing conservatism. I was embarrassed to be there. It's like being the center fielder for the Yankees after Mickey Mantle. How the hell do you do that? Was Gretzky a center? I'm not a hockey guy. After the Edmonton Oilers lost him, he went to the LA Kings. Who the hell is that? You're never going to be Gretzky. I don't care who you are. Never give up. You've got a country to save. Never, ever give up. I told you I got a lot of show today. I'm going to show you the consequences of this. And by the way, I'm going to show you also why the doomers and gloomers who are folks, they're really, they are doing their best right now to lose this election.
20:01So they can say, I told you. So that's their only point to existence. I'm going to show you things that are happening and what you're up against, including a sick piece of video. And I don't mean sick like the kids say it in a good way. I mean, sick, like throw up. I can't believe a sick piece of video out of California. If this doesn't motivate you to get out and vote, I don't know what will. Stay tuned. I'm going to take a quick break because anytime I talk about Rush, it's always emotional. Folks, you probably have a go-to place for everything, a mechanic, a restaurant you trust, you order from all the time.
20:33You know, we all have our Rolodex of places, to use an old term there. Well, when it comes to prescriptions, you should know about All Family Pharmacy. They're who I use. I don't go anywhere without their travel pack anywhere. They built a pretty simple way to access prescription medications from home. So in an emergency, you're not knocking on a pharmacy window that's turning around the closed sign and you need antibiotics or anything else. You can find the treatment you're looking for online, complete a secure medical form. It's easy. And one of the licensed physicians will review it. And if appropriate, write the prescription.
21:03All Family Pharmacy takes care of the rest. They fill the prescription, sending it straight to your door. You can't beat the system for ease. It's more than five. they have more than 500 medications available. There's a good chance they carry something you or your family already uses from everyday maintenance medications and antibiotics to GLP-1s, NAD, peptides, and so much more. So the next time you need a prescription, remember the name All Family Pharmacy. I use them. They've been great to me. I really appreciate everything they've done for me and my family. Always consult a medical professional before taking any medication. This is not medical advice. Thank you, All Family Pharmacy. We appreciate it. So to kind of like bring down, it was not bring down the energy at all. I'm actually excited about doing this, but I don't want anyone going into this with the thought that this game is over. We are going to play this game until the end and we're leaving everything on the ice.
22:17I was kind of reminiscing a little bit yesterday. There's a big, huge summit at the White House going on with Xi Jinping from China and President Trump. You know, there are people who are upset about the pageantry. Folks, I'm not, you know, I'm not like these doomers, a fraud or a hypocrite on these matters. This is how President Trump works. he is a transactional guy Justin how many times have I used the word transactional with President Trump maybe 10 ,000 I've tried to explain this to people yes he has places he'd like to get to ideologically low taxes, high growth, liberty and freedom in China he understands that's not going to happen tomorrow we have to deal with China because we don't want an AI cyber war an invasion of Taiwan so he puts on a show because that's how he does his deals, love it or hate it that's how he rolls however you p1s know i've the p1 listeners know i've talked about this often when you're a young secret service agent and you get to the president's detail which is never right away i don't care what they show you in the movies it takes like eight to ten years sometimes to get to the president's detail if you get there at all it's only a small fraction of secret service agents who get to protect the president another thing you don't see in the movies they never put you on the shift the working shift around the boss right away.
23:34They just, it's, you still got to get accustomed to the culture of the White House. So one of the things they do when you're a young agent is they stick you with the press because it's probably where you can do the least harm while you're getting used to the culture at the White House. So one of the things as a young press agent, I noticed is when you go to communist countries, the culture of communism, which is like, hey, when we're the press for the communist leader, we're just going to do whatever we want because that's how we do it in China. It comes over here too. And you've got to deal with it.
24:05You see this with every single communist country we're in the press guy. They'll try to steamroll you. Well, we do this in China. You know, we do this in Russia. Well, you're not doing it here. That's not the way this rolls, okay? I want you to show that. Here's the Chinese Communist Party press rolling around the press pool. They're, of course, trying to like, they tell them like, no, stay here. They're trying to get whatever angle they want. And the agents there are like, hey, man, that's not the way we roll here. OK, like you whatever way you do it in the Chinese Communist Party, that's not the way we do it now.
24:41There was some other incidents, too. One in the Brady press room. This is I've seen this over and over. When you deal with democracies, strong democracies, their press people get it like, oh, there's security things. OK, this is how we roll. I'm telling you, like, they don't get that over there. You see, here's another one. Oh, hey, look, here we are. I'm going to, no, you're not going to do that. Really sorry. You're going to stay there and you're not going anywhere. So sorry. Just said it's Friday. Want to reminisce a little bit. I told you the good news. The good news part is we still have the ability to go and play the hockey game and win.
25:15It's not over. It's not over. Yogi Bear, right? It's not over until it's over. Hey, something I told you early on too that the Doomers were lying to you about. And I've told you they've had an impact. I know I've heard it. I get out in the real world, folks. I live in the real world. I'm dealing with something right now that's been sucking my soul out in the real world. I see people all the time. I told you about I was at my daughter's volleyball game. Nice man comes up to a very nice guy, not in any way like agitating or confrontational. But he's like, hey, Dan, you know, Republican voters are frustrated.
25:50Nothing happened. I don't get this a lot, but I get it often enough that I know the doomers have had an impact. And I'm like, I said to him, I go, what do you mean? I said, you understand the jobless rates, the lowest it's been in American history. The poverty rate is the lowest it's been in modern American history. The crime rate, I retweeted a post by Rod Martin this morning. The streets are safer than they've ever been. That the murder rate is the lowest. That median household income, a measure of household wealth is the highest it's been in 30, 40 years. I get it. There were downsides. The cost of diesel is high.
26:23The cost of gas is high. Inflation has been tamed a bit, but not where we need it to be. I understand that. But we've got to take this all in context. There's always going to be good news and bad news. I'm telling you, being transactional myself, if you were to put the Trump good news in a spreadsheet versus the bad news, a business term, net present value. In other words, is the value positive and a good thing today measuring all those things? The net present value is unquestionably positive compared to the Biden years. Here's another thing you may have missed. I have direct experience with this.
26:56You're constantly told by the doomers who invent a new conspiracy theory every day. They've now totally jumped the shark. You see it. They've told you with the Justice Department, oh, nothing is happening. There's no reforms. Everybody got let off. Okay, we'll wait and see, folks. Wait and see. And I'm not asking, I am not asking you to trust me. I don't need you to trust me because I know what's happening. I don't need anyone's trust. there will be a spreadsheet of results when this is all said and done and a lot of these doomers are going to be hanging their head in shame i'm a big fan of harmeet dylan love harmeet she's been a guest on my show before harmeet is overrunning the civil rights division at the justice department for all the folks out there who on the doomer side don't know nothing's happening there's no reforms happening well you think harmeet's lying she did a news appearance yesterday and she said And listen, the reason the Justice Department, the DOJ, I'm not going to say got off to a slow start at all because a lot got done, but could have worked faster if we had the personnel is because a lot of people on the DOJ roster who are holdovers from the Biden administration, they weren't with the new constitutional program of the Trump government.
28:12So they left. But folks, I'm asking you a question. I'm not trying to be a jerk. that's what we want right if people can't uphold the constitution and work in the department of justice and want to weaponize their jobs to be like the secret police we don't want them right yes or no like of course we do here's harmey talking about exactly that i've explained this a thousand times the doomers will tell you this never happened check this out division is one of the largest divisions here at main justice here in dc when i started it had about 400 attorneys in it. And when we came in and told the lawyers here that we were going to be implementing the president's executive orders and prioritizing getting rid of DEI and cleaning up voter rolls and doing some of these important things that the American people voted for, eventually about 300 of those attorneys quit.
29:08And so they self-deported. And we then had the task of while we had doze restrictions and budgetary constraints, building back the Civil Rights Division. And I'm really happy to say that I recruited over 100 great legal professionals here to the DOJ. We have revitalized our efforts. How's that possible, Justin? We're told nothing's happening. Folks, you can't have it both ways. I'm not talking to you. I'm talking to the doomers. the doomers will tell you the completely opposite story a week after they told you a different story they'll say well nothing happened there were no reforms made oh you think karmite's lying that we came in with an agenda we are not weaponizing government anymore we are cleaning this up because people are policy it worries me folks because if a democrats elected in the next presidency role the doj and the fbi are under the executive branch clearly i'm sorry but there are liberals listening who probably are hearing this for the first time they can appoint a whole new cadre of bad people and you're gonna have the same problems i'm not one of these guys telling you oh don't worry everything's fixed forever that's not me that's not me hey flag this segment right here i'm not kidding well damn why don't we just disband the place i've heard that because they're just gonna weaponize another the u.s marshals or it doesn't matter where they go the atf you've got to vote.
Read the full transcript
30:39You've got to get on the ice and play the game or bad people will take those 300 people back and we'll be right back where we were. I am not telling you this problem's fixed. Flag it. I mean, this segment is the most important. Flag it in. You say that one slow. It's like master debater. Flag it in the chat. This is your country. If we elect bad people, bad things are going to happen. I don't care if you call it the DOJ, the JOD, the IBF, the FBI, the AED, or DEA. You put morons and tyrants in charge, you're going to get tyranny. I say that because, again, the doomers and gloomers will tell you, well, okay, it may have happened in the FBI, but it didn't happen in the DOJ, but it didn't happen in the FBI.
31:33They wrote about it. Please put up the article You think we're making this up? The left-wing media came after me in cash for this exact same thing, calling it a purge. Isn't that a movie to purge? Like there's one night a year, like everybody gets to do whatever they want to purge. That's a movie, right? Look at that Bloomberg, Ben Penn, Cash Patel pushes out more FBI leaders and agents in renewed purge. The purge has happened. What's the, I thought the doomers told you none of this happened.
32:05folks 10 of our workforce in the fbi there were 38 000 plus employees 10 left were terminated or resigned when we got in there we didn't know i've never heard that before i know because the doomers have told you otherwise that nothing's happening don't vote there's no reforms happening. You think Bloomberg's like a big fan of mine? And Cash, like they're just writing this to appeal to like, you know, right wing folks. It was not a purge.
32:42It was fixing a car that was a jalopy and was broken. Call it a damn purge. What are you talking about? I'm just trying to tell you folks, voting matters. We can fix this place. And I'm trying to tell you most importantly, please, I told you, please, please, please flag this segment. I can only vote once. I'm not a Democrat. People are policy. If we forfeit this election because the doomers want the socialists to win, it's intentional. You are going to get the same bad people running whatever three or four letter organization in the government, the CIA, the Secret Service, whatever, and you're going to be right back to where you were.
33:29I can't fix it alone. I'm not and never pretended to be anyone's small M messiah. I am not. I was a piece of a huge machine and I'm proud of what we did. But if you want this stuff, do you want the cement to dry and you want this stuff reasonably repaired in the long term? we got to vote. I can only vote once. This is what I'm talking about when I mentioned this video earlier. If this isn't motivation for you to get out and vote, I can't help you. You want open borders again? That's going to happen if we lose the midterm and lose the presidency. Listen to me. It is going to happen. Very few things in life are 100 % probabilities.
34:18This is 100%. Reminds me of that scene in Zero Dark Thirty, which was a little politicized, but you get the point. What are the chances Bin Laden's there? Jessica Chastain character says, 100%. And she goes, I get it. You're not comfortable with certainty. Okay, 99. I don't care if you're comfortable with certainty. I'm telling you 100 % certainty. 100 % certainty. The borders will open again. 20 million people will be back in the country. Every single thing we did will get thrown out. Disband DHS. It doesn't matter what you call it. They'll open the borders if it's SHD or DHS. You want this guy back in the country?
34:55I want you to listen to this news report. An illegal in this country, in a court proceeding, a very serious court proceeding, talking about killing cops, laughing about it, killing our finest, our police officers, put their ass on the line every freaking day of their lives. They come home at night, and the greatest sound in the world to their spouse, significant other, boyfriend, girlfriend. You know what it is? It's the sound of Velcro at night. You police officers in the chat know exactly what I'm talking about. They put their ass on the line every day. You got this douche canoe in court in this freaking segment here laughing about killing cops, saying if I get out, I'm going to kill him again.
35:40He's in the country illegally. You want more of this? You're right. Don't show up and vote. Teach the Republicans a lesson by allowing the socialists to win. I ain't doing it. I got a country to save and so do you. Watch this and get really pissed off like I did. Even though the man you see smiling and smirking has officially entered a not guilty plea, Luis Brocamontes has sounded like anything but an innocent man. That was part of his expletive-filled rant on Tuesday inside a Sacramento County courtroom. The Mexican illegal immigrant with an extensive criminal history went on to say he should have killed more cops back in October of 2014 when he gunned down Sacramento County Sheriff's Deputy Danny Oliver and Placer County Sheriff's Detective Michael Davis Jr.
36:28I will break up soon and I will kill more.
36:35So that sound of Velcro at night didn't happen for the spouses of those two heroes. You want to tell me again about your open borders thing? Well, not all illegals go on to commit more crime. Nobody ever said that. But some of them do and kill police officers and they shouldn't have been here at all. What kind of stupid ass comment is that? Well, only a couple have shot and killed our cops. Really?
37:10Folks, you see why Rush said that? we're never giving up the odds are 10 % we could win the house good I'll take those odds right now because if you show up they're 100 % we have enough people to win this election if you show up and drag 10 people the math works for us you just have to execute or this guy and more of him are going to be allowed into the country
37:39that chat is fired up now
37:45folks i wore a shield on my chest okay i was a police officer in the 75 precinct in eastern new york brooklyn they had shirts made up you give us 10 minutes we'll give you a homicide probably not politically correct now it was after this news station 10 10 wins which is still on the air and their tagline was you give us 10 minutes we give you the world we had something like 100 plus homicides or something a few years before I got there, 200 plus in one precinct. That's the entire homicide count for the entire city of Baltimore. You want more of our police officers dead? Because we let this guy in the country who thinks it's funny?
38:24He thinks this is a joke. You're going to have Thanksgiving dinner, Christmas, any holiday from this point on with this clown taking people, look at this. I don't want to say something so bad right now. You got empty seats at a table. These police officers had kids forever. Oh, that was dad's seat. You still want to like teach Republicans a lesson by not showing up? I'm sorry, folks, but even like, not the worst, because some of them, I'm talking about not the Folex people, but even the worst actual Republican, who's probably terrible, maybe votes with Trump 20 % of the time, is 20 % better than the zeros you're going to elect who want to defund the police and get these men and women killed.
39:08I ain't doing that man no I'm not on board and I'm telling you now and flag this in the chat too if it's a freaking blue tidal wave and we lose every single seat the next day I'm getting up and I'm going to be really pissed off and I'm focused on the next leg no I'm not doing okay okay fine I am I got a country to save I'm not giving up I'm not where else are you going to go what are we going to fight for Canada Voting matters. Showing up matters. You want more of this? Fraud, waste, government debt. You got government treasury instruments now. People are losing faith in the dollar because of all this fraud, abuse of government funds, prolific waste at the state level.
39:58Democrats love this stuff. Even freaking Mondami, who's a communist, up in New York is like, hey, why the hell are the Republicans monopolizing the fraud, waste, and abuse message. That should be ours too. I don't know, Mom Domi, maybe because you're a communist and love to waste money. There was a great segment on The Five where Jesse Waters yesterday talked about the massive, almost unprecedented amount of healthcare fraud to the tune of billions of dollars happening with Obamacare. You would think the Democrats would be like, hey man, this money should go to people who can use Obama. I don't even like Obamacare, but you get the point.
40:33No, the Democrats love fraud. Just like they love open borders and they love illegals in the country. It's just a fact. If they didn't love it, they wouldn't fight for it so much. Here's Jesse Waters, great segment, telling you something about the fraud you may not have known. This is worth a minute of your time. Check this out. You know how they found the fraud, Greg? How? AI. Yeah, there you go. And that's why the Democrats are so scared because it could expose everything. Patterns. Obama and Biden designed the program like this. So you get a kickback. They call it a commission, but I like to call it a kickback.
41:05Every time you sign somebody up for Obamacare. So they had a fraud ring that would just go around and sign up like 50 ,000 people for Obamacare and then just count the money. And the people didn't exist or they didn't live here or they weren't eligible. And these guys were just making it rain. And they made it easy for the fraud to happen. They had a million people, Greg, enroll in Obamacare with no Social Security numbers. And then no one flagged it. After COVID, Obamacare enrollment doubled, all of a sudden doubled. And then all of a sudden, all these scammers got paid. That's what's going on.
41:48And you know who said finding fraud and corruption was a right-wing thing besides you? Mondani. He said it can't be where one party owns rooting out fraud and corruption, and the next party's like, you know, it's partisan. You can't have a high trust society when one party is like, doesn't care. Thank you, brother Jesse. They found it through the use of just basic AI tools. Hey, find people who have no social security. Wow. Why do they have no social security? Maybe they're here illegally. Maybe they don't meet the income requirements. Obamacare folks. I'm a capitalist. I hate Obamacare period.
42:29Okay. Full stop right there. However, if we're stuck with this dreadful crap hole of a freaking healthcare system, then at least keep people off it who don't belong. This should not even be a Republican issue. They love the fraud Why do they love the fraud? For the same reason they love open borders Anything that can Destroy the system From the inside So they can rebuild it In their socialist, Islamofanatic model It's all considered good They don't care how many people die How many cops get hurt How many towns are overrun by illegals How many people get kicked off their healthcare They don't care about any of this If they did, they would stop it.
43:14And they don't stop it. Why don't they stop it, Producer Jim? Because they don't want to. Folks, you have a choice. The hockey game has not been played yet. We can still go on the ice, leave everything out there, and overcome 100-1 odds. We can win this game. We can win this game. Don't let the Doomers win. They want this. They want this country destroyed too. Folks, here's who you're running against too. Freaking hair gel in California, Newsom, who runs the most mismanaged state in the history of the United States, modern day California. A state overflowing with riches, oil, amazing weather. You ever been to San Diego?
44:10It's like perfect weather year round. It's like someone painted the weather like a vista. You've got the tech corridor. You've got some of the best schools in the world. And the place has been run into the ground. This guy is going to run for president. And if we lose in the midterms, they're going to have a huge base of people. Please follow me here because this is important. The mechanics of how this is going to work are really important. It is easier to raise money for your party when you run the House and Senate because you have the chairman spots of committees and can dictate what comes up in front of your committee.
44:49So if you're in the transportation committee or whatever it may be, and you're some big transportation company, I don't know, Joe's Airlines, your lobbyists are going to start paying the Democrats and donating the Democrats. If we win, this guy is going to, if we lose, excuse me, in the midterms, any Democrat, including hair gel, is going to get an influx of money for their presidential run like you've never seen. It's all connected. It's a nasty, gross system, but it's a system we're stuck with, and it works that way for both sides. Here's freaking hair gel, who showed up in New York for some stupid reason.
45:21No one even knows why. Runs the most poorly managed state in the history of the United States. claiming somehow like he has some great energy policy vision for the entire country wait Justin can we do this in reverse I know you can you put the chat GPT thing up first just so we set up this conversation I just asked chat GPT a really simple question on my phone it's not a scheme a scam you can check it out yourself how do California energy prices compare with the rest of the United States California's energy prices especially electricity and gasoline are among the highest in the United States. You can ask yourself, if you don't believe me, you think I made this up.
45:59So California is a model for inefficiency on energy. Look at these prices per kilowatt hour versus the U.S. average. Almost a double. 88 % higher. California has the second highest energy cost behind Hawaii. That's like an island and stuff. So they've got to like ship a lot of this stuff in. California's got oil right there. Here's Newsom up at the UN like, hey, man, I got this great model and we're going to bring it to the entire United States. You're voting on gas prices. I understand. I listen. I get it. Diesel is high. Gas prices are I get you. I hear you. I'm not in any way ignoring you or gaffing off your concerns.
46:42I'm just telling you if you want them higher, like the second highest in the entire country, almost double the national average, then vote for this guy. Check this out. But in the absence of federal leadership, someone's got to emerge. Someone's got to stand up. And that's what we do in California. With the size of 21 state populations combined, we punch above our weight. That's why there's a California derangement syndrome, because we have outsized influence. When we do something, it tends to move the needle at scale. And that includes the issue of the environment. And that's why Trump's working so hard with, you know, one of the sponsors, ironically, here, Chevron, and the oil interest to gut California's leadership so that they can continue to spew a pollution blanket.
47:26And we're going to fight hard in the absence of his leadership to assert our leadership, which goes back to Ronald Reagan in 1967, who's looking down literally, not figuratively, at Donald Trump every single day because there is a painting of Reagan right in the Oval Office. And it's appropriately placed above the Resolute desk looking down at this invasive species called Donald Trump. I'm so sick of this guy, man. I'm so sick of this guy and his BS. Yes, listen, there's no one in politics who says, you know, less by saying more than Buttigieg. There's no one, I think, dumber at that level of politics than Kamala Harris and AOC.
48:08And I mean it like a generally low IQ. There is not a more deceptive magician. And I don't mean that as a compliment. There are good magicians out there. This guy pulls a rabbit out of a hat every single time. California derangement syndrome. I just asked AI a simple question. You're talking about your vision for energy prices and your vision for the entire country. It's the second worst in the country. Don't you have an AI app? Check Grok. Check Gemini. Check Muse. You suck. You weren't. I take that. You're the second worst level of suck out of 50 states or Obama's 52 or however many he thought they were.
48:47You are the second worst. And the first worst is an island where they have to ship stuff in. You have oil in your state and you suck so bad. And Ireland is the only state with higher prices. You're not teaching anyone a lesson. Even if you are a single issue voter, and I understand gas is high, diesel are high. I get it. There is no lesson taught other than elect Democrats. And I promise you they'll be higher. I promise you. I just gave you the receipts Folks contrasted with Like I told you the president's record I acknowledge the problems I just told you However crime rates Jobless rates poverty rates median household income We're building things again I showed you yesterday just yesterday alone Something like 2.5 billion dollars In investment by manufacturers back in the United States on True Social yesterday, President Trump announced.
49:52This is huge. These are American companies and American workers. All caps, big day for Boeing and American manufacturing. Today, Turkey and Bangladesh announced purchases totaling 111 Boeing airplanes with options for 50 more. This is tens of billions of dollars in sales, huge U.S. exports. This is jobs. This is high-tech quality jobs and manufacturing. Airplanes, tech, software, hardware, services. You know, steel again. This is happening in the United States. People are building here again. It's a national defense issue. It's a good jobs issue. It's an economic issue. Do you want that or do you want the second highest gas prices, energy prices in the country because hair gel told you about California derangement syndrome?
50:36It sounds more like Trump derangement syndrome to me. We have the data. Nobody, by the way, even the Trump haters with actual Trump derangement syndrome, did you notice they never dispute the numbers? The median household income numbers, the highest they've ever been. Stock market, highest it's ever been over and over. They never dispute the numbers. They just throw out other numbers. Well, diesel's like, okay, just point stipulated. we're trying to fix it
51:10you know I'm a big fan of Senator Mike Lee he has been a supporter for a long time and I tell you he's one of the good guys you know he really he's been with me a long time he was asked a question yesterday in a cable news appearance about and you know listen Senator Lee will tell you himself he you know he speaks very he's a very competent constitutional attorney but he's not really known as a big, a big flame thrower up on the Hill. And this isn't the him screaming and yelling, but this is about 30 seconds of Senator Lee. He's asked a very simple question, I believe by Larry Kudlow, like, Hey man, like what's the stakes in this upcoming election?
51:47I want you to listen. I have a different approach, but he is absolutely correct on this. Check this out. GOP beat the democratic socialists of America in this midterm election. We can, we must, and we will beat the democratic socialists of America. because the American people want their lives to become more affordable again. We want to reinvigorate the American dream. We want to restore the permissionless society that can operate outside of government. Democratic socialists of America want to inject more government into everything we do. That makes us all poor. That makes us all less free. These are things that are contrary to the American DNA.
52:24We will not tolerate those things. American voters will not elect those things this November. Folks, I'm asking you as your friend, and I mean it, man. I didn't come here with any agenda other than you. Please play this hockey game. Leave every single ounce of ATP, creatine, phosphate, energy, glucose, fat, anaerobic, I don't care, aerobic energy. Leave it on the ice, man. if we lose and it's fair we'll find out a way to win the next one i'm telling you man the worst worst electoral day of my life was not when i lost it wasn't i ran a couple times myself the worst day of my life was when obama won re-election it was i anyone who was with me then knows i couldn't believe it i could not believe after four years of that absolute debacle this guy won again and if there was ever a time because i'm not holier than now i'm just a dude like you guys man i have no special powers here okay if there was ever a time i was almost ready to give up that was it but i didn't it took me a little bit brushed off and we got back in the fight and we got two solid, at least now six years in, six years of President Trump.
53:56You got the big, beautiful bill. You got safer streets. You got manufacturing coming back. You've got a border closed. You've got our military reinvigorated. You've got the technology corridor exploding. You've got median household income at records. Folks, I'm not going back, man. And I'm certainly not giving up this freaking hockey game before it's even played. I don't care if it's a 2 % chance. There you go. You know these guys, that's why I threw George Lucas in yesterday. These guys are all obsessed with Star Wars. The weirdest thing, you'd think I'd asked on the job application, are you a Star Wars fanatic?
54:33It just happened by chance. Never tell me to do Han Solo, even though Harrison Ford's a big libby. He's kind of killing me with that. Just pretend Han Solo was real and he's not Harrison Ford. Pretend his name is Ford Harrison or something. And Indiana Jones is Jones, Indiana. Indiana? That's the dog's name, some of you get. I actually am a big, and this may be heresy. I don't want to lose any P1 Star Wars fans. I'm actually a bigger fan of Raiders of the Lost Ark than I am of Star Wars. I love Raiders of the Lost Ark. I was obsessed with that movie as a kid. I will never forget walking out with my dad.
55:07And it was one of those little, like at the end of a parking spot, They have those concrete things. So you don't work. And I jumped over like I was Indiana Jones. I remember like it was yesterday. I was like, dad, can you get me a bullwhip? My father was like, ah, Dan, that's not a good idea. How old, when did Indiana Jones, when did Raiders come out? How would anyone know in the chat? I forget. I was young. I remember being super young. And I jumped over this thing. I was like, dad, get me a bullwhip. And maybe a 38 too. That's definitely not a good idea. You're a little young. 81, 81. So I was six or seven dependent on the month because my birthday's at the end of the year.
55:44Dad, give me a bullwhip. Daniel, not a good idea. Remember that, Dad? My father, thankfully, is still around, so he watches the show. Do you remember that? Do you remember me jumping over the thing? I wonder sometimes, because I'm a parent, and my kids have different memories than their parents do. Folks, listen, I'm going to transition to some really good news here. And the good news is related to this election, but on a different front. This isn't about objective facts. Like, Dan, you always are a numbers guy. I get it, but the world isn't all numbers, folks. It's not. Culture is culture, and you can sense when there's a change coming.
56:20I'm setting this up poorly. I hate them. I throw myself under the bus. Let me just say it straight. Donald Trump has changed the culture of America and corporate America, too. And there is no businesses. Listen to me right now. I don't care if you're a Fortune 500 or a Fortune 900. There is no future in anti-Americanism. Donald Trump has got this culture back on the right track where people are going to be proud of America again. And I'm telling you, there's no future in this. I promise this will make sense in a second. Put up that Fortune article. Here's where I'm going with this. Corporate America decided under the Obama and Biden years they were going to start doing DEI, wokeness.
56:57They're going to start making everything about communism, socialism. They're going to attack any company or any person who believes in America. Well, it's not working out. Yahoo Finance. Did you miss this article from a few weeks ago? Nike. Nike? You mean like shoes and apparel? Yes, that Nike. That's one of the biggest companies in the world, right? Apparently not anymore. Nike exits the S &P 100 after 18 years and a$200 billion market cap wipeout. Justin, is that a lot of money? Justin's like, nah, I made that this weekend on my paper out in tips. That's a lot of money. That's a lot. 200 billion, a lot of money.
57:40That's a lot of money to lose. Folks in the chat tell me, why did Nike lose that money? You know, because you know how many marketing people, they paid billions of dollars to get them with the Colin Kaepernick's in the world. Hey man, defund, believe, whatever this crap. And they were told by marketing people who get paid millions of dollars, they were told this is the greatest thing ever. This is where the country is. Crap all over the country. It'll be great. It didn't work out. Now, they've got new leadership in charge. There are people who work there who love America. They just work. I don't wish ill on American businesses.
58:23I don't. I hope they turn it around. But I'm not, you know, going to vocally support companies that just crap on America. There's no future in this. I bring that up because I was down in Auburn again this weekend. I was at the game. I got Coach Bruce Burrell coming up in a minute. We're talking about college sports. And Donald Trump is actively involved in this college sports argument. But don't miss the interview. Because I know a lot of you are thinking, why did Donald Trump get involved in college sports? Because it's not about college sports. Yes, it is. No, it isn't. The current controversy around college sports is that some of these colleges are anchor economic facilities in small towns in America.
59:02You can't just let them go under. We got to figure this out. So I got him coming up in a minute. But I was in Auburn this weekend for the University of Florida Auburn Tigers football game. And Coach John Gruden works at Barstool with Downer. What a really nice guy. I met him. Very gracious. Just a really good, decent guy. And he put this video up about, and I was here for this on the side. This is America. The flyover by the Helos. Looks like a Chinook. I don't know what else is. Those 53s or 60s up there. I was there for that. And, man, let me tell you, folks, I'm just going to be straight with you.
59:41The Auburn Tigers football team is not that great this year. I hope we can turn it around. We're only two and one. But look at that stadium. There's about 80 ,000 people there. That gets me going, too, coach. You know why college football in the SEC down in the America-loving South is succeeding? Tell me in the chat, answer the question for me. It's succeeding because our patriots down in the American South freaking love this country. And they don't want to go to a game or support a company that's crapping on America constantly with your stupid BLM messages and all this other crap. They just want to go and feel like part of something that's bigger than themselves, American flags in the chat.
1:00:29and something bigger than themselves is not America sucks. That's something smaller than you. Why are SEC college sports exploding? Why did the Ole Miss LSU game? Yeah, I get the Kiffin thing, all this other stuff. I understand. Why did it get 10 million? 10 million viewers? 10 million. You know how many viewers that is? I was on TV. I had a TV show. Do you have any idea how big? We were like the number one show on the weekend. I think the biggest audience we ever had was like 2.2 million. They had 10 million viewers for Ole Miss LSU. Because people love America in the South. And these football programs recognize it.
1:01:08There ain't no future, folks, in crapping on America. Corporate America, fire these marketing idiots tomorrow. They're feeding you a bunch of crap.
1:01:22Did you guys do our liner for the, we did? okay so throwing myself under the bus here because again i have no superpowers here and we'll talk to coach pearl about this coming up in a minute should i throw my i should right i am constantly i love mother nature i love dogs i love nature i just do so can we get some preemptive muttlies in the chat laughing at me i get burned by these ai videos all the time the mother nature ones aren't you because i just i'm a sucker for a good mother nature video So we're going to start a segment on this show. I won't burn it out too much. But the guy's constantly laughing at me in the morning like, dude, you got burned again.
1:02:00That dog video is fake. So I sent him one this morning. And I'm like, this is really cool. Like, dude, this is definitely like AI. I'm like, no, it's not. So we're going to start a new segment. Justin put this together. Justin, play this thing.
1:02:15That's good. I didn't know what he was going to do. That's not even me, dude. Folks, that is not You see what they did there, right? So I asked them to put like a fake game show theme AI or not for those listening on radio And listening on Spotify and Apple And they generated an AI Dan Bongino That looks nothing like me at all No, no So I sent them this cool video of Mother Nature Apparently it's fake Mother Nature but I like it. Look at this grizzly bear. Is that yellow? So I'm charging this bison. The little, oh no, mom's coming to the rescue little baby. Oh yeah. Freaking JJ Watt coming out of nowhere.
1:03:06From the top ropes giving him the people's elbow. They said it's fake. I don't really care. AI or not. I'm saying no. These guys say it's real. Fake AI damage. That is definitely fake AI. But the suit is real. that's an actual tie paula bought me that where'd you get that from my fbi picture you did right because i know i wore that tie ai or not now because the show that's a great game show i love that now folks because i love you all in the chat and as i say often the show is for you brothers and sisters ain't for me do you want to continue the segment if you don't say no tell me dan it sucks and we'll stop if you like it we won't wear it out but we'll do ai or not because I only do a mother nature.
1:03:49I rarely get burned on real stuff because I know, you know, if I see a segment of like Barack Obama talking about how much, you know, he loves capitalism and free markets, believe me, I'm doing a triple AI check on that one. There's a lot of no.
1:04:08See, I'm telling you, man, it looked real to me. If not, it was some damn good freaking AI. Also, it's Friday before we get to our comment of the day. Producer Jim always puts together this Democrat Zen moment. It's a Zen moment of the day for you on Friday to end the weekend in peace and calm. I don't see it beforehand, so language alert. Is there language in it? The answer is I don't know. But every time I ask these guys, they go, no, there's no lie. And a lady winds up coming on dropping some lady with green hair, 20 F-bombs. So let's see what we got on this Friday for your Democrat Zen moment of the day.
1:04:39Your Democrat Zen moment of the day. A peaceful moment to center your mind. Capitalism is brain damage. It's an unnatural system that has fucked with the biology of our minds and our prefrontal cortex. This is AI. This is AI or not. Which is where all of our humanity lives. Like empathy, self-control, and high-level thinking. No, this is not real. Before capitalism, the priority of the humans was... At Tomi Nagy? What is that on TikTok? and safety of the children. But when agriculture was developed... This has been Democrat Zen. What in Hades is that? That can't be real. That should have been...
1:05:29Forget the bison, grizzly bear, Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker matchup. That should have been in our AI or not. That lady's not real. There we go. Thank you. We're mixing now two segments. This is how creative this show gets. On the fly, the live show. We just do this. We're now mixing two segments. That ain't real. Sorry. People, it ain't a word. It's a word. I grew up in here. We call it a word. You know, we pick our comment of the day. Every week we pick one. Lucky winner wins$1 ,776. Why? Because we just love you guys. We like to give away money. There's no agenda there at all. People ask me about the rules.
1:06:04Very easy. Go to Bongino.com slash 1776. You can read the rules right there. Our comment of the day is, before we get to Coach Pearl, call man he's right there's a lot of needles moving in california you got needles you see what they did there the needles and that is not ai that is there are way too many needles moving there in california you see those skid row things call man congratulations good job we will pick a winner uh sometime soon we can verify thank you so much quick break i'm going to get to coach pearl don't miss the interview folks this is an important topic college sports is not just a college sports topic we're also going to talk about the uh uh nitin yahoo speech yesterday what happened at the un something important happened there i don't want you to miss it hey uh you know that moment when the check engine light comes on and what happens you start sweating because you have no idea how much this is going to cost everything in cars or computers they're really expensive now the days of like a 25 hubcap change are over okay you're doing math in your head.

1:08:21Welcoming to the show a good friend to liberty and freedom around the world, a good friend of mine, the former basketball coach of the great Auburn Tigers who we love, my friend Bruce Pearl. Bruce, welcome to the show. Dan Bongino, it's great to be with you this morning. Well, it was great to be with you on the planes at the campus this weekend at Auburn. And, you know, I want to get to some of that in a minute. The whole, you know, I don't want to call it a controversy because I think there's good people on both sides. But the whole college sports ecosystem, I think you and I, Bruce, can both agree, is in a little bit of flux right now.
1:08:58These amazing athletes who you've coached successfully in one of the most successful college basketball turnarounds ever at Auburn for years. These are amazing kids. You are a character first school. You've coached them. Your son, Stephen, is doing an amazing job right now. And I think everybody agrees that they deserve to have their value somewhat compensated. However, this whole system now is a little bit chaotic with the NIL where they can license their name, image and likeness. And I know Nick Saban and others are involved in in what should we. So what are your thoughts on how this system should proceed forward so America can enjoy college sports?
1:09:38Colleges are doing OK and the athletes are doing OK, too. Well, Dan, it's a great subject to be talking about. I know it's a lot of interest to your viewers and listeners. First of all, let's talk about the good. The product on the field and on the courts right now may never have been better. The interest is still incredibly strong. What did intercollegiate athletics do over the last 40 years to our country? It made it better. College scholarships brought rural Americans to school. They never thought they were going to go to college, but they had athletic ability. It made kids start to get healthier and train and eat better and exercise and be fit for the opportunities made to compete on their sport.
1:10:22It brought women to college campus. All of a sudden, you got Title IX. All of a sudden, there's equal opportunity. And I'm old enough, Dan, to remember that when we started with women's college sports, they weren't eating where the football team was. They weren't eating where the basketball team was. They had no support. They do now. What an amazing thing that's been. inner city kids that would have never thought about going to universities started going to universities it just it brought diversity it cut down on racism and all kinds of different things and we loved it it's America's pastime there's no place in the world that has on these beautiful college campuses around the country you don't have to live in an in a pro city to be able to enjoy sports and enjoy and sports the competition like like we hate each other at Alabama and Auburn.
1:11:10But no, we really don't. You know, there's a healthy rivalry. So all these things are worth saving. Now, what's the problem? The problem is the NCAA was ignorant and arrogant and late to the party compensating the student athletes. They were late. We were taking advantage of them. We should have been giving them annuities. We should have given them a realistic scholarship. And the question is, how much are these athletes worth? Exactly what they're getting paid right now. The market says that college football quarterbacks were$4 million for Indiana University to win a natty. This is the country we live in.
1:11:43This is capitalism. This is a great society. This is where people can obviously be great. The problem is we have no rules. We have no equal playing field anymore right now. And that's a real problem. So Ted Cruz's Protect College Sports Act, which has gone through the Senate and passed. The House will take it up after the midterms. It stops the bleeding. It puts a little bit of guardrails around the spending which is out of control. Dan, two years ago, 2025, when I was in the Final Four, my roster was$4 million. Dan, this year, in the 2027 Final Four, there will be a college basketball roster that will approach$30 million.
1:12:24It's unsustainable. If we keep this up, and if we don't stop this bleeding and create some rules around transfers and free agency, so on and so forth, you're going to see more women's sports cut. You're going to see more Olympic sports cut. the time to act now. This is what Coach Saban has been talking about. I think Ted Cruz is on it. The SEC, the Big Ten support it. And Congress needs to pass it when they get back after the midterms. And coach, we're talking to coach Bruce Pearl. Coach, President Trump has been really vocal about this. Listen, it's a really serious issue. I think, you know, people who, and I'm not suggesting anyone in my audience at all is doing this, but there are people, you know, whatever, it's college sport.
1:13:03Like, is this really a big deal? You just indicated why. some of these colleges are anchor facilities for entire towns i.e. Auburn I mean there's no question what a by the way what an amazing amazing place I mean it's it's it's one of these places where some colleges are in towns that are struggling a little bit Auburn the town is amazing and the school's amazing but no one would seriously question it's the economic anchor of and Alabama doesn't have pro sports teams that is their pro the Iron Bowl is their Super Bowl Like it's not just it's an economic issue. It's a it's an actual fairness issue, not the way the socialists use it.
1:13:38And the fact that President Trump considers it so important and brought in thought leaders like Nick Saban and others who have direct experience, I think, speaks to the importance of this issue right now. I agree. President Trump has got courage. He's not a politician. He looks at problems and he tries to solve them. He comes up to solutions. It's like it's funny. I listen to the Democrat socialists talk about it's all about affordability. It's all about the cost of gas and cost of the grocery. They don't tell you how to fix it. Could you imagine, Dan, just imagine this. Okay, let's say the Democrats were in charge, and we'd be involved with some conflicts in the Middle East and the energy crisis.
1:14:15Could you imagine what the cost of diesel fuel would be right now if the Democrats were in charge? They'd say, well, there wouldn't have been a war with Iran. No, you know what? You're right. There would have been a nuclear holocaust. There would have been a nuclear Iran. President Trump knew that this wasn't exactly a very popular thing for the midterms to get involved in this thing with Iran. But you know what? He cares more about our country. He cares more about the future of your children and my children and having the world be a little bit safer. We're going to get through this affordability crunch.
1:14:45And when we go to the ballot box in November, we better remember that because if the Democrats were in charge or if they get in charge, we're in a world of hurt because they're crazy. I couldn't agree with you more. I did the whole beginning of the show about this today. You know, and one of the segments I led into this segment with you is how really the market for anti-Americanism in corporate America ever since the reelection of President Trump is not there, Bruce. Companies are finding out the hard way that voting against America on your corporate board is a really bad idea. The reason I bring it up with you is the SEC, which is, of course, the conference the Auburn Tigers are in.
1:15:25you know you had Alabama you got Ole Miss you've got these just amazing schools you know when you go down to a college football game in the plains down there at Auburn and you've got 80 ,000 people at a football game watching uh you know the the Eagle land the Eagle flight go on coach John Gruden who is at Whit Barstool was down there we both ran into him this weekend and he put out a video I showed at the end of the show today. And he just, for a guy who's got the breadth of sports experience as the great coach Gruden, to go there and be in awe of, frankly, a college team. I mean, what would essentially be in baseball, AAA baseball, but 80 ,000 people showing up.
1:16:06It just goes to show you that the Southeastern Conference, when you love America and you show your fans you love America, even if the Auburn Tigers struggled like they did in the week, people will still show up because they want to feel part of something bigger than themselves. And I agree. And obviously it's, it's more than the tailgating and the band and the cheerleaders and a pageantry and all that stuff, which is so much fun. It's America's pastime. It's a, it's a, it's a way for us to unite and, and, and, and kind of love our country. I mean, who else plays God bless America before a football game?
1:16:41We do that at Auburn. And, and, and, and, and singing in the national anthem, you know, Dan, When kids come to the Auburn basketball camp, all right, and they're little kids, what do college players do before every game? We stand and we celebrate our country. We put our right hand over our heart, our left hand behind our back, and we sing the national anthem. When else do we sing the national anthem but at a college sporting event? And all those campers come to my camp because they want to be future Auburn basketball players. Well, if you want to be a future Auburn basketball player, you need to learn how to address the flag.
1:17:12You need to learn how to pay tribute to our country. So the first thing we do in the mornings before we start camp, we line up and we sing God bless America and we play the national anthem. And those kids grow up with that. And you know what? Someday they'll understand. How to lead their family, by example, your presence is your gift when you do these type of things. And so, you know, you get the flyover, you know, you get the you get the eagle. It's it's spectacular. We're talking to Coach Bruce Pearl, the Auburn Tigers coach. which before I leave it, I just got to get your take on football and basketball for the Tigers.
1:17:47We've got a ton of War Eagle followers in our chat room every day. They love you. But I wanted to get your thoughts on this. And one of the things you and I have bonded on way before we met, before my family members even went to Auburn, we've known each other, is listen, I put out a post yesterday and I said, listen, support civilization in this war with the bad guys. It's like you'll always be on the right side of wrong if you do. I saw Prime Minister Netanyahu's speech yesterday at the UN. And listen, everyone knows where I stand on this issue proudly, strongly, and I will never waver on this.
1:18:25However, he addressed something I think is critical. This really dangerous myth out there that there is a genocide going on of the Palestinian people. Coach, the facts matter. The Arab population in Israel has grown. It has not been wiped out. There are Arabs serving in a primarily Jewish country's government system. You don't see that in other Arab or Persian countries around the world. You see the effort. Yes, it was a war. War is ugly, period. Everyone gets that. But people who engage in war trying to commit genocide, don't give out polio vaccines. Don't call and text people, hey, get out of the danger zone.
1:19:03Don't try to facilitate transportation for people into Egypt and elsewhere outside of the danger zone. Like that's the exact opposite of a genocide. If you're going to downgrade the definition of genocide, every war in human history would be genocidal. It's not right. It's just inaccurate. Disagree all you want about the Netanyahu government. That's your right as an American, but at least be honest about it. Well, you're entitled to your opinion, but not your own facts. And so the fact of the matter is, and you can goop, get on chat, GBT, get on Claude, and ask the question that in 1948, how many Arabs lived in that region total?
1:19:38And the answer is about 160 ,000 to 170 ,000 Arabs lived in the entire area of Israel, Judea, Samaria. Okay? Today, Dan, there are 2 million Israeli Arab citizens. Citizens with full equal rights from 106 ,000 to 2 million. But I'm not done. In addition, there are 2 million Arabs or Palestinians in Gaza. I'm not done. There are 2 million Arabs or Palestinians in Judea and Samaria alone. That's 6 million. You don't go from 160 ,000 to 6 million and say there's been a genocide. I'm going to just one more fact I think is really interesting. I thought about this the other day. So the fundamental issue is that the reason why people want to free Palestine is they think that what happened was the gates of Auschwitz opened up and the Jews that were left standing all moved to Israel and they kicked millions of Arabs out of the land.
1:20:32Let's just say hundreds of thousands out of it. They stole their land. That's why they want the right to return to come back. Question, Tel Aviv, the largest city in Israel, in 1948, how many Arabs lived in the largest city in Israel? And the answer is zero. In 1948, there were zero Arabs living in Tel Aviv. That's how few there really were. About a third of them stayed and became citizens. About a third of them fought with the Arab armies in 1948 and lost. And about a third of them left with the idea of coming back to Israel someday after all the Jews were killed and moved in. Look, these wars do have consequences.
1:21:13But you're talking about in 1948, the displacement of hundreds of Palestinians, not thousands, not millions. The Jews did not stale the land. That's just the argument on the ground. Forget about the biblical arguments. Forget about the historical arguments. Those are simply the facts. There has not been a genocide. You don't, Gaza's been obliterated. It has been obliterated. It's been destroyed. Israel got 200 ,000 bombs or rockets onto Gaza in this war, and yet only 60 ,000 to 65 ,000 deaths. That's very either. Israel are terrible shots, which they're not, or they intentionally went house to house.
1:21:52There are a thousand dead IDF soldiers. There are 2000 orphans in Israel right now because of dead mothers and dead fathers, because Israel went house to house, carefully trying not to kill civilians. Dan, they could have dropped the two bombs and wiped the whole thing off the map. That's genocide. Israel did not. and people just need to understand the difference. And just in closing, Bruce, even according to the Palestinians, obviously questionable numbers, which are typically propaganda, even according to their own numbers, the overwhelming majority of deaths, and no one wants death and destruction, have been fighting age males.
1:22:34That's their own numbers, Bruce, which, I mean, let's be real, most of their numbers are complete garbage and propaganda. They're even telling you this story. Every death is horrible. We get it. War is an ugly thing. But again, as you just said, the facts matter. If we're going to use reason to solve global geopolitical problems, we can't do it on fairy tales. We need numbers and data. And that data that they're feeding people about genocide is crap. It's just not true. It's not. And Dan, you and I want what's best for America, first and foremost. First and foremost. As an American Jew, if being a great ally of Israel was not in our country's best interest, I wouldn't want us to be an ally of Israel.
1:23:18I care about this country first and foremost. Now, some people will hear, like, oh, that's a bunch of crap. All you do is care about Israel. That's not true. Dan, you know this. You know more than anybody knows about the intelligence around the world that Israel is able to provide the United States of America. You understand how our military is so much more ready and prepared for anything that Russia or China or anybody else in the world to deliver. Why? Because the equipment that the United States has manufactured, Israel is out there applying all that. They've made the F-35 the most incredible flying machine ever, ever invented because they've done it in practice.
1:23:58There is not an ally in this world. If they left us and went over to China or Russia or Iran and they went in and joined that side, that would cost us more than the state of Israel. We benefit by this partnership. Does it bring along some baggage? Sure it does. Because the Muslim Brotherhood and the Islamist nation want to destroy Israel. because Israel's victory is their defeat. It's the same thing we're doing fighting the democratic socialists right now. Our capitalistic society, the success we've had and the great wealth of this country was due to the fact that this is how we let business operate.
1:24:35The socialism over there in Europe, it doesn't work. The socialism and the dictatorships that are in the Arab nations, they don't work. And right down the street is this little tiny country, Israel, with more startups, with more unicorns, AI, cybersecurity, salinization plants, irrigation. And they're our best friends and they're our most loyal partners, somebody that we can count on. Who else could we count on to go to war with us other than the state of Israel? It's in the best interest of our country that we keep a close and friendly relationship with the state of Israel. Coach, I got to run, but that is just eloquently stated.
1:25:14And I say to my listeners, friends of mine, people I meet all the time, and I'm just being straight. This is not about Israel. This is about a war by savages against civilization, merit, democracy and freedom. It's the same reason China can't have Taiwan next door. People see like, wow, you have freedom and liberty over there. Like I want to. It's no different. Remember the line. First, we get the Saturday people. Then we get the Sunday people. This I'm sorry. And I think, you know, it's not about. You can make it about Israel all you want Not you, but people out there who are obsessed with this country The size of New Jersey I'm telling you, having read the intel for years It is a war on civilization Take the wrong side at your own peril Just a closing thought My closing thought is My Sunday people They're standing with their Saturday people Yes they are I, as a Saturday person Am standing with my Sunday brothers and sisters God bless America and I'm Yisrael Chai.
1:26:15Bruce, you're the best. Listen, like I said, I'm hoping the best for the Auburn Tigers. We covered a lot. NIL, college sports, love it, America. Of course, you're welcome back anytime. I'd say pass my regards to Steven, but I told him myself this week and I think the basketball team is going to be amazing. I think they're going to be a big shocker this year. I do. They're going to be sleepers. They're going to be sleepers. Damn right. Remember this conversation, folks. Flag it in the chat. Coach, thanks a lot. Really appreciate your time. You too, brother. Take care. That was Coach Bruce Pearl, folks.
1:26:43A really important conversation. Listen, that NIL thing's a big deal. He's not kidding. College sports is a huge economic anchor. They produce our next generation of thinkers. It's not just an issue about a couple of kids playing basketball or women playing volleyball. It's a huge deal.
