In short

Kabbalistic “energy of the week” focused on the “void” (periods of disconnection/no progress) and how free will determines whether the next “daytime” arrives through suffering or proactive transformation. Core claim: a perfected version of you already exists now; when you borrow it (“borrow the tzaddik”), you magnetize right people/opportunities and remove “klippot” (barriers) that dim your light.

Guest backgrounds

No guests mentioned; it’s a solo episode by David Ghiyam.

Key claims

Cycles are inevitable (like day/night); difficulty can force growth; waiting for money/love/achievement is a trap; spiritual work must exist both “between you and the Creator” and “between you and people.”

Notable examples

friend asking “what’s the point?”; workshop where attendees struggled to say something great about themselves; stories of survivor’s guilt after robbery/shooting, grief after a spouse’s death, and relationship sabotage tied to a sister’s unmarried status. Meditation/visualization script to “see” the perfected self entering the body.

0:05David Ghiyam:Welcome, everyone, to David Ghiyam podcast, episode 113, where I talk about the energy of the week according to the Kabbalistic wisdom of the sages. Before I actually get into the energy of the week, one of the things I did want to speak about is to talk about what David AI is doing for people all around the world. Many of you know that I have trained AI and my voice in many languages with over 20 years of my own personal teachings, but also with the wisdom of the sages. And the whole idea is that anything you're going through, any kind of challenge, any kind of difficulty, you want to understand what to do in your relationships.

0:42David Ghiyam:You want to know how to navigate this disagreement you're having in your marriage. You're preparing for a big business meeting. Whatever it may be in any area of life, people are using David AI coaching to get to the core of the answer, both spiritually and practically. Every coaching session, on average, takes really just about five to ten minutes and people get clarity. So anyone who wants to try David AI, you can do so for free. Just go to my website or most likely there's a link below that you can try it. And if you already have David AI, spend some time with it. I use it every day to prepare my mindset for the day.

1:20David Ghiyam:And it's incredible what just five or 10 minutes can do. What is the energy of this week? I was talking to somebody actually on social media. They were messaging me that they're going through a difficult time. And they asked me about the void, which is that period of time that we've all experienced and you might be experiencing now, where it just seems like things aren't working. They're not connecting. You may have an area of your life that's going very well, but then there's another area of your life where no matter what you do, you don't experience progress or fulfillment. I was actually talking to a friend earlier as well, and he was messaging me.

1:57David Ghiyam:He just messaged me one line at first. He said, what's the point? I said, what do you mean? He's like, what's the point? I'm at this age, and I haven't achieved what I want to achieve, and went through a whole list of where he wanted to be, but he feels like he's not. And he felt despondent. He felt like he wanted to give up.

2:21And one of the first lessons that I shared is as long as our soul is in this world, it's going to go through cycles.

2:35David Ghiyam:Kind of like a wheel. When a wheel turns, at some point, every part of the wheel is going to be in the bottom and in the top. There's no such thing as us always having complete revelation of light and certainty. That's not the purpose of why we came to this world. We have cycles in the same way we have daytime and nighttime. Nobody ever asked this question. Why do we have a nighttime? Why do we even need to sleep? Why not just always stay awake? The body re-energizes itself. It doesn't need sleep. And why do the planets need to rotate at all? Like spiritually speaking, like why? Why not just always have daytime?

3:12David Ghiyam:everything has a purpose and what you see in the physical world is matching what we see in the spiritual world so in the same way that there's darkness and light in our own lives no matter who you are no matter how perfect you may be no matter how spiritual you may be no matter how deep you're involved in all the different spiritual practices your nighttime will come now what is your free will. The free will is how quickly your daytime comes. And does it come with suffering or does it come with proactive transformation? For example, if a person doesn't choose the difficulty of taking care of themselves, which it can be difficult sometimes to have to be conscious of what we're eating, conscious of how we're sleeping, conscious of just what our body needs.

4:05David Ghiyam:Sometimes we just want to do what we want to do and could come with a little sabotage, sure, but what's wrong with a little bit of instant gratification, right? The same way that if you constantly were to avoid taking care of yourself and only connecting instant gratification, there's going to be some form of pain and suffering later on that's going going to push you to be different. It could be the shame that you feel because you don't look your best, right? Summer's rolling around and you realize, wait, you're not in shape. You don't look the way you look. It could be the simple fact that you're tired all the time.

4:38David Ghiyam:And why are you tired? Because you're not taking care of yourself. It could be that your body, as you're getting older and your body, because you're not taking care of it, starts to rebel and you start to have aches and pains and aging happens faster for you. It could be, God forbid, a disease. A person has a health challenge. And now all of a sudden they're like, wow, I got to take myself seriously. I got to take my health seriously. Any one of those things could be pushing you to become your greatest self. And when you do, and I've seen this many times and so have you, when you do end up pushing yourself to grow, which could be painful, it's a moment of pain for long-term pleasure, for long-term fulfillment.

5:17David Ghiyam:And in that same way, you have that choice. You're going to get to the best version of you no matter what. And I always reminded myself through my most difficult times, if I have a vision of who I'm meant to be or who I can be, I have no choice. That is going to happen no matter what. And if you had a vision of love, a vision of sustenance, a vision of, you know, you kind of see yourself, you see yourself being happy in a way you never have before. Can you see that? Have you seen it? Because if you've seen it, if you have an image of it, if you have an inkling of who you are meant to be, even just a little bit, despite how much you might beat yourself up and think the opposite about yourself, if you've ever seen a vision of happiness of your future, it means you're going to get there no matter what.

6:10David Ghiyam:And the creator is going to force you to get to your greatest self, no matter what. So the question becomes, are you going to give up? Are you going to throw in the towel? Are you going to hide? Are you going to procrastinate? Are you going to do things when nobody's looking because you think nobody's looking? You know, there's in the 10 commandments, which is really just the code for 10 levels of energy between us and the creator. But it says on the, there's two parts to it. And the first five commandments are actually the spiritual work that exists between us and the creator. and the next five is the spiritual work that exists between us and people, which is interesting because there are two levels of spiritual work.

6:53David Ghiyam:What you do when nobody's looking, behind closed doors, in the privacy of your home, and that's between you and the creator. And then there's the spiritual work between you and people. Sometimes people are good with their relationship with the creator, but lacking in their relationship with people. Sometimes people are very spiritual, sharing, resolving their relationship issues, working on themselves when it comes to their role with people. These are the people who are very charitable. These are the people who go out there and create betterment for humanity for other people. But in the privacy of their home and no one's looking, they're a wreck.

7:28David Ghiyam:They're a mess. They're not spiritual. They're not taking care of themselves. They're having negative thoughts. They're not pushing themselves to have certainty. Because they're like, well, nobody's looking. And look, I'm already doing so much for people. Do I need to really be at my highest vibration my highest purity, my highest spirituality when no one's around now? And then there are some people who are very spiritual, meditating, connecting to the divine, you know, the people who do ceremonies, people do things, they see visions and amazing things and wow, and all this, but they're ignoring their children.

8:03David Ghiyam:They're ignoring their love life. They're ignoring their employees. They're ignoring humanity. They're not actually taking any of that connection they're getting with the creator that they got through their amazing mushroom journey or ayahuasca and all these things that people often get so excited about and nothing wrong with it. But what are you doing with whatever vision the creator gave you? And if you're not taking that and bringing light and value to humanity, then equally, you're not gonna reach your highest self. So your free will, especially the energy of this week, is to realize, first, what is the vision of your greatness?

8:48David Ghiyam:And some of us do see it clearly. Some of us see images of things. Some of us have seen things and we've hid them or we're ignoring them because we're afraid of the responsibility or we feel maybe we're not worthy to receive. but I can guarantee you, you have seen the greatness of your soul at some point. You've seen glimpses. You might have had dreams about it. I went to somebody during Rosh Hashanah, which was the first and second day of Libra, sixth day of creation, where we say it's the day that the soul gets the new destiny. And I did a workshop for the people in the room. There's about maybe 700, 800 people in the room.

9:29David Ghiyam:And I said, turn to the person next to you. and I know this is going to be uncomfortable, but I want you to share something great about yourself. It was so hard for people to do that. It was harder than if I told them, say something negative about yourself. I looked at the guy next to me. He was maybe a man in his 60s, Persian man. And I said to him, tell me something great about you. And he looked at me and says, oh me, no, I'm not good. That was his answer. Oh me, I'm not good. No, no, no, I'm not good. And I'm like, that's your first answer to me? That you're not good? And I realized that was his movie playing in his mind, that he's not good.

10:09David Ghiyam:And how many of us actually have this movie playing where we're discounting ourselves? We're not valuing ourselves. We're hard on ourselves. We're always criticizing ourselves. And as a result, we don't want to see how great we can be. We're afraid to be that great person. I know people who have lost family members, friends, sometimes in very traumatic situations. Like I know a person who was a victim of a robbery. One person got shot. They lived. And so they have survivor's guilt. And because they lived and the other person died, they don't feel they deserve to have a good life. I know another person whose husband, who she really loved, died.

10:59David Ghiyam:And she doesn't feel she deserves to find love again because that would be betraying her husband who died. I know another person who is afraid subconsciously to get married and have children because her older sister is still single. And so she believes it's a betrayal to her sister, betrayal to her culture. and so she subconsciously sabotages her relationships. And I'm sure if she did find someone, she would subconsciously sabotage her pregnancies because until her older sister gets married and has children at first, she doesn't feel comfortable. So there's so much that we all suppress and negate, dismiss about ourselves for whatever reason, for whatever tikkun, whatever soul correction.

11:47David Ghiyam:And that's my question to you first. what is it that you're doing to sabotage? At the very least, seeing a vision of who you're meant to be. Because who you are today is a fraction, just a fraction, fraction, fraction of how great of a life you will have and how great of a person you will be. Which means that that person exists today, there's just a lot of shells, what we call klippot, that are dimming your light and the spiritual work is to remove it. But you'll never be able to remove these barriers. All this work will be for nothing if you cannot first acknowledge that there is a great light that exists within you and you are meant to have a great life.

12:35David Ghiyam:You are meant and you know that the creator wants to give it to you. Oftentimes when we don't feel that something is going to come to us or we are meant to receive something, we lose the motivation, the power, the inspiration to go after it. If right now the president of your country called you, their offices called you and said, we need you. We need you to come down. We need you to come down to the Oval Office. We need you to come down to the prime minister's office. He needs your help. She needs your help. All of a sudden you have energy. All of a sudden, if you're sitting there depressed about a breakup, are you still depressed about your breakup?

13:13David Ghiyam:If the most important people in the world to you, People that you respect and admire called you right now and says, I need you right now. I'm sending you a private jet. Get on the jet. We need you. Are you still depressed about your relationship? Are you still depressed about whatever problem you're having at the moment? No, because all of a sudden you're being called upon. Someone is requesting something of you that is great. And that creates incredible energy. So what did I tell my friend who said, what's the point? I said look if you're waiting for your business to be successful if you're waiting for you to sell your company so you have a lot of money if you're waiting to meet someone and marry them or you're waiting to have children to validate that you're a good person to validate that you are successful to validate that all your work was for something and not for nothing then you will wait I need you to live as that great person today.

14:15David Ghiyam:I need you to know that that great person already exists and it's a complete illusion that you don't see it or feel it. And the fact that you think once you have money or once you have love or once you have children or once you have fame or once you have achievement, you will then feel and see how great you are. I'm telling you now, not only will you not feel it you'll feel worse think of how many people we know famous people they had everything and they still felt they needed to take their life how many people do we know who millions and million billions of people love them admire them but they're still home depressed because until you choose to see it inside yourself no one else is going to be able to give that to you and there are people who don't have the money yet don't have the love yet and are saying well i know once i get it it'll be different and then there's people who have gotten it and go out there and say it really didn't change anything there's a moment of excitement but then it's all gone if you don't believe that you're worthy or valuable yeah if a thousand people tell you you're great you'll believe it for that day but then one person looks at you funny the next day, you're in total depression.

15:27David Ghiyam:It's a house of cards.

15:32David Ghiyam:So what are you going to do right now? Who are you going to decide to be right now? And how many of you are waiting for something to happen before you give yourself permission to be that person?

15:48David Ghiyam:I remember thinking, I think until the age of 35, 36, 37, I didn't have any success in my life. I didn't have any, I definitely didn't have any money, but I was still teaching about wealth and abundance. And the truth is, there's always gonna be that voice that says, well, you're a fraud. You don't have success, but you're teaching other people about success. And the way I reconciled that is I said, look, my job isn't to come here and teach people how to make money. I'm not here to do that. I've never made money myself. I need to remove the blockages that are in me so that I can be a conduit and channel for you.

16:32David Ghiyam:And if I can be a conduit and channel for you, then the creator will allow me to say the things that you need to hear for you to be successful. So I'm not here to teach you how to run a business. I'm here to just be a conduit. and that's why even when i was teaching at the age of 18 19 i still helped people become millionaires and billionaires or whatever it was people's lives still changed even though i had no life experience the truth is the zohar says a five-year-old can come up to you and be a channel for you i have people who are literally in their early 20s who i look up to and i would go to for advice I know someone who's 21 years old.

17:17I frequently aim to learn from him

17:20David Ghiyam:because he's so good at what he does. And here's the thing, even if he wasn't good at what he does, he could still be a channel for me if he chose to be. That means that at any moment in life, and here's the solution, you can borrow what's called borrowing the tzaddik, borrowing the perfected version of yourself at any moment. If it exists in the future and the future is now, doesn't the perfected version of you exist now? Doesn't the version of you that has certainty exist now? Doesn't the version of you that has full confidence and wholeness exist right now? Doesn't the version of you that has incredible worthiness and humility simultaneously exist right now?

17:55David Ghiyam:Doesn't the version of you that can heal other people exist right now? Doesn't the version of you that has no death in his life exist right now? And when I'm in my void, when I'm in my darkness, when that wheel is touching the ground and I'm at the bottom, I've learned from my teachers, I've learned from the writing of the sages and the Zohar, borrow the tzaddik, borrow the perfected version of me that's coming in the future. What would the perfected version of me do? And I can't tell you how many times I walk into a room meditating on my perfected self, the things that come to me, the things that come to me.

18:31David Ghiyam:I could tell you stories upon stories upon stories of the people I meet and the situations that occur. And it's unbelievable. It all gets magnetized the moment you're connected to your perfected self. But if you want to sit there and say, I don't deserve it. I don't believe it. I don't know. It's going to take a long time. I've done so much negativity. It's not fair. I don't want to make my sister feel bad. Whatever. Bullshit excuse. Your negative side wants to give you. Then you will suffer. And you will wait. Because the negative side will tell you. You'll be happy once they text back. You'll be happy once.

19:15David Ghiyam:You'll achieve that. And the game continues as it has for thousands of years. You'll die either having gotten it or not getting it, but realizing in both cases you were empty because you didn't do the actual work, which is to borrow your perfected self. How do you do it? Just pray for it. Ask for it. Meditate on it. Try to feel what it feels like. be delusional that you have it already. Walk into meetings acting like your perfected self. What would that look like? What would that feel like? Wherever you are now, you're driving to drop your kids off. You're driving to pick them up. You're driving to go to the gym.

19:57David Ghiyam:You're driving to a business meeting. You're walking somewhere. You're listening to this on your bed, sitting on your couch, whatever it is. What would you do after this podcast if you were your perfected self? Literally visualize this entity, the soul, future you coming in.

20:15let's do a meditation I want you to sit in a way that nothing is disturbing you and sit comfortably and relax take a deep breath in and exhale

20:34I want you to see an image of yourself a future you It has no pain. Only has joy. What is the future you look like when it magnetizes the right people, the right opportunities, an endless low abundance? What is the perfect you look like when it receives divine thoughts from the source at all times? not even your thoughts but thoughts from the divine imagine this perfected you every time you see people you see not just their body but their entire soul you see their entire life you know more about them than even they know about themselves

21:34what does this perfected version of you look like you're healthy strong you're rich and rich means you always have what you need there's always flow there's no death there's no end it means that you can heal with the touch of your hand I want you to visualize sitting in a chair and looking up and seeing this completion of your soul entering into you. The spirit of your perfected soul entering into every limb of your body. Your hands, your eyes, your ears, your feet, your organs are now completely being controlled by the perfected you.

22:44your negativity doesn't control you anymore your past life doesn't control you anymore your fears don't exist anymore you're like an angel divinely guided what does it feel like?

23:09Can you feel the wholeness? Can you even comprehend the amount of miracles that will come to you now? It's so exciting. It's so exciting to go out into this world with this vibration. I want you to really feel that vibration. How heavy it is and how empty it is to go out to the world with those feelings that I'm not enough or I'm missing something or I'm lacking something. How heavy it is. There's another path. Borrow the Sadiq. Pray to the Creator and say, I ask that my perfected self join me now. Join me and help me in whatever it is that you're about to do.

24:16You can borrow this endlessly. You never have to pay it back. After all, it's yours. Just sitting in an account somewhere waiting for you to draw upon it.

24:37this is the week where you are closest to your perfected self. Have no shame in receiving.

The perfected version of you already exists. Rich. Whole. Free. Healing people with a touch. Guided at every moment. That version is not somewhere in the future waiting for you to become it. It is already here, and the sages taught the practice for borrowing it right now.

In this episode I share why waiting for success to feel successful is the deepest trap you can fall into, why I taught wealth for 20 years with zero money in my bank, the story of the 60-year-old man who could not say one great thing about himself, and the practice of borrowing the tzadik that lets you live today as the person you are becoming.
