Ep.88 How To Win Life When You Feel Broken

0:05Hi everyone and welcome to the David Guillem podcast. Before I share with you the energy of the week. I just wanted to let you know about a new experience we're having called the Seven Day Energy Reset, which is a journey that begins April 1st, where we learn about the most powerful time of the year. And it's always important to understand why did our soul come to this world and what intention does the creator have for each one of us to further understand the challenges that we're experiencing.

0:58You are probably going through something in your life at this moment. every single person always has one area of their life where there are difficulties and there are challenges so much so that it feels like the light of the creator is being concealed from them. Where's that painful place in your life? I want you to identify it. And I want you to have the intention that by listening to this podcast now, that the light that is being revealed from it, the learnings that we're gonna have together will open up a gate to bring you a solution, to bring you healing, to bring you the miracle that you are looking for.

1:37Every soul that comes to this world must go through a transformation of its negative qualities. These are our fears. These are our insecurities. These are the parts of us that often think that we're better than other people. That means that if I think I am better than you, then I am guaranteed to go through a process that will humble me. if I think that I am less than you, then I'm guaranteed spiritually to go through a process that causes me challenges and pain to awaken me out of that belief system. For example, if I have low self-worth or I don't think I'm good enough, I will keep attracting people who will treat me that way.

2:19I'll keep attracting people who don't value me, who don't pay me enough, who don't value my time, who ghost me, who are half in, half out in relationships, in partnerships, in investments. And what happens at some point is you're in so much pain over the lack that you're feeling, the chaos that you're feeling, the abuse that you're going through. It wakes you up, it helps you become spiritual. And then you realize, you know what? I am gonna start valuing my time. I am gonna start setting boundaries. See, everyone has a process that they must go through to become their perfected self. And so it is not about right or wrong.

2:57It's not about what's fair or not fair. So many of us out there are living our lives based on, well, they did something wrong, and so I'm gonna have to correct that. Or this person doesn't deserve that, and I'm gonna be the arbiter of that. I'm gonna be the judge of that. So I'm gonna now be the one that's gonna teach them a lesson. I'm gonna teach my ex a lesson. I'm gonna teach these evil people over here a lesson. And what happens is when you spend time and energy invested in other people's process, instead of keeping your side of the street clean, you're focused on the garbage that's on everyone else's side, your energy starts to leak heavily.

3:37You start to feel drained. You start to have pain in your body. So much of the pain that we go through physically in our body, the ones that we cannot even explain, sometimes we just ascribe it to getting older. And doctors say it's because of stress. it's really because we are focusing our energy and our time on other people, trying to grow them, trying to save them, trying to teach them. The most powerful way to teach people is to grow your energy, to grow your aura, to grow your consciousness. And by you shifting to a new destiny of miracles and experiencing miracles in your own life, everyone will take notice and everyone will grow energetically to be with you also because the creator does not allow opposite forces to stay together.

4:26Lack attracts lack and abundance attracts abundance. Meaning if you commit to becoming an abundant person in every way, a spiritual person by transforming your negativity and your fears, all those who are not doing the work are going to be forced to grow as well or they must exit your life. So either way, the momentum behind helping the world achieve their highest state of consciousness comes from your personal spiritual work. That is why me personally, I'm asking myself the question. I ask myself this question as I prepare for podcasts and seminars, and especially depending on when you're hearing this, April 1st, 2026, there's a portal of energy that is open and seven days that are very powerful.

5:12And I'm preparing myself for this time. And what happens during this period of time, usually a little bit before, but especially during, is that the creator supports you from above. An infusion of energy comes from above to help you break free from your addictions, from patterns that are holding you back, from habits that you might think are positive but are actually limiting you, from relationships that maybe you are in just because it's safe or because you don't know that you could, you're meant to have something greater. You're meant to have a love that's greater. You're meant to have an experience that is more fulfilling.

5:48You don't know, or maybe you're afraid to go down that path. So this energy comes from above. And that is why you might be experiencing right now loss, a disconnection, a feeling that there's something inauthentic in your life and you need to move on from it. And even if that is true that you need to move on, how you move on is also very important. And this is why this week's energy and what we're going to talk about and just the wisdom and Kabbalah in general is so powerful. Doing the right thing in the wrong time or in the wrong way is still the wrong thing. The process is very important. So let's understand one concept, one concept that we can all connect with that will help us bring miracles into our lives.

6:31The goal of creation and every soul in this world is that each soul achieves sovereignty, that each nation achieves sovereignty. What does that mean? You were created, and this is what the Bible says, and this is what the sages tell us, in the image of God. What does that mean exactly? There's many different interpretations of this line from the sages. One of them is, if the creator is a sovereign force, a force that has no lack, a force that is not controlled by any other force, a force that only gives, Because it has. We give when we feel we have something. If you have a lot of money and wealth, you might feel more inclined to give of that wealth.

7:19If you have nothing, barely enough to survive or take care of yourself, your own family, you're gonna be less inclined to give. If you feel love and you feel whole inside, you're more inclined to give love. If you don't have love, you're going to be jealous of other people's love. You're going to judge other people. but you're going to try to sabotage other people's happiness. That's just human nature. The creator is not like that. The creator is a whole force, a force that by itself does not need anything else in this world. It does not even need the vessel. Even though we say that the creator desired to reveal itself, we talk about this in Your Infinite Soul, in our entry-level courses of how creation began, that the creator wanted to reveal its energy.

8:02That want wasn't from a place of lack. It was simply cause and effect. It is a giving force. And so it created a receiving force called the vessel to receive it. So even then, the creator did not need to create creation. Creation was for our benefit. So if we know that that is the creator, and we also know that the goal of the soul, goal of you in this world, your purpose for being in this world, it is not your career, it is not a family you have, those are secondary. The purpose of why you came to this world is to become like the creator, to become like God. Because you were created in the image of God, it means that this is your essence.

8:44Now we have negative forces that are pulling us away from that. We have negative forces that make us focus on other people. We have negative forces that make us feel doubt and fear about the future. The creator does not worry about the future. We have negative forces that make us feel guilt and shame about the past. The creator does not understand time. There is no past. There are no mistakes. we think that we're making mistakes we think that other people are making mistakes we think there are good people and bad people in the creator's world there is no separation there is no good there is no bad there is just the light of the creator a force of goodness and so when we live our lives with separation internal separation external separation when we start labeling people when we start creating hierarchies we are in essence disconnecting from the light of the creator.

9:36Now, the real question becomes, should everybody be equal? Should we all just give up all our money and distribute it evenly? I think Warren Buffett once said, if you take all the money of the world and you distribute it equally amongst the 8 billion people in the world, so everyone has the exact same amount, within 10 years, all that money will go eventually back to the way it was. Why? Because if a person has a billion dollars, it's because they have a vessel that can hold a billion. If a person only has a thousand dollars or a hundred dollars for whatever reason at that stage in their life, their vessel can only hold a thousand or a hundred dollars.

10:17If I give someone who has a vessel for a hundred dollars, a billion dollars, it will destroy them and they will lose that money. Imagine my eight-year-old, he might have a few hundred dollars saved somewhere in the house, if I handed him$1 billion, what would that do? Probably nothing, or he would destroy that money, or he would destroy himself. We see this from kids who are often born to wealthy families who are given a lot of energy, money and wealth, before they have a vessel to hold it. We see this in relationships. When a man or a woman is very insecure and starts to give, give love, give money, give attention, not because the other person has earned it, not because it's, even better for the other person who's going to help them grow, but because they're afraid to lose the other person.

11:01So they give. I had a student once who, within a few weeks of dating, he was so excited to find a woman that he thought he loved. He was infatuated with her from the get-go, bought her a Rolex watch. First two weeks of knowing each other. I asked him why he did that, and he said, isn't Kabbalah about giving? And I said, yes, but handing someone a watch is not giving, it's actually taking. Because you're trying to take from her security and sovereignty. You're trying to take her free will away by impressing her. You're trying to take her approval by showing that you have the ability to spend on her, that you have the ability to signal resources.

11:43But that's all coming from your lack. So you're being a taker, you're not being a giver. Yes, you might have handed over a watch, but you do not give any energy. You are a taker. and so the goal of life is are you sovereign are you at a place in your life that if everything left you would be happy you would be secure you would be comfortable being with yourself you would be able to look in the mirror and say all I have is myself and so I love myself are you in a place in your life where if the money left the respect left the attention left your family members left your business left everything that is your identity left you would be sovereign because to the extent that the answer is no is to the extent that we are disconnected from the light of the creator.

12:45So many of us, myself included, claim to be spiritual. We claim to be with God. We go to churches and mosques and temples and we pray in our own way. But how much of that is just actions that we do because we feel bad not doing it? A false sense of protection? You know, just maybe I'm appeasing God. I'm kind of bribing him. making him like me a little bit more. You know, and just in case, you know, just in case there is a God, I better like, I better do that. Or maybe going to pray in temple, mosque, church is more of a family thing, a family affair for us. It's good for the family. It's good for the kids.

13:30It's good for our routine. All of that is nice, but it's not the purpose of why we came to this world. How many of us, also, I remember one time getting on my Kabbalah journey, I think I was 10 years in. I was 25 years old at the time. And I love studying. I love to read the Zohar. I love to, I was, I was studying then six hours a day. So I would wake up something like four or 5am. I would study for three, four or five hours. And then I would do coaching all day. And then I'd probably give one or two seminars at night. That was my literally routine every single day, six days a week. And then at night before I went to bed, I had no life.

14:06I didn't watch TV. I didn't go out. I didn't date. I didn't do anything. I did another two hours of study. I loved it. Learning about the creator, I'm like, wow, this is so powerful learning, the deepest secrets of our world. And then one day my teacher came to me and said, when I asked him, I said, what can I do to connect more to the light of the creator? He said to me, I want you to, for two weeks, not study anything. And I said to him, I said, you have taught me that to learn and to study and to deepen my connection to the light of the creator is the most important thing. And you've taught me to teach that to others.

14:38I literally am telling everyone else to study. And he said, yes, teach everyone else to study. But you specifically, I want to see if you can go two weeks without study. Because I want you to know, I want you to feel and understand that this wisdom is already inside of you. If you are relying on the book, if you're relying on me, if you're relying on other teachers or mentors, then you are still reliant. You are still the effect. You are not sovereign. And literally me not studying for two weeks was like a heroin addict not having his drug. And I became bored. I became anxious. I became irritable.

15:19And then I realized that even studying Kabbalah, as holy and powerful and spiritual as it is, even that became an addiction. And it's not that it's a bad addiction, right? Everyone needs to be addicted to something. Better to be addicted to something positive than something that will destroy you, of course. But if you want to reach the highest, highest level, you have to ask yourself, can you exist in a space of nothingness, in a space where all the attachments are going away, that even wisdom, even your wisdom, even the books that you rely on are not there for you. And then you are forced to only communicate between you and the creator.

16:04And now you are actually more connected to the light than ever before. It says that this is the secret of the soul of King David. I was reading here in the Zohar and I'll read it for you. I opened it up right before because I wanted to get some inspiration. I did not know this section would come up and it did. and I'll read it for you in its ancient language of Aramaic. This was written 2000 years ago. So I'll read it in Aramaic because it says that if you read the original language of the Zohar in its original form, as was written by the great Kabbalist Rav Shimon Bayuchai, the light of these words purify our soul and elevate our consciousness to a place where we can see true miracles in our lives.

16:50Just by listening, just by the ears listening, it's purifying the ears. And then I'll explain the section that I read.

17:04Patach Rabbi Chiyah Ve 'amar. And it says that the great sage, Chiyah, began a discussion of the verse.

17:23it says here and it's actually talking about this time that we're coming upon so in the year 2026 it is the night of april 1st that there is a connection that we make and then actually it says that this connection is what biblically became known as Passover. So those of you who are familiar, many people think Passover or Pesach, however they say it, is a Jewish connection. And we actually know that Jesus himself celebrated this connection of Passover. And many people even say that the Last Supper was the meal of Passover. And it's because Passover and this consciousness of Passover, which happens on the 15th day of Aries, the full moon of Aries, is a portal and a window in time that is beyond religion.

18:14It existed since the beginning of time and every soul in this world can connect to it. The fact that the Jewish faith are the ones who preserved many of these traditions and understandings and eventually became more traditional, less spiritual, which is what we're trying to go back to here through this wisdom of Kabbalah, to go back to the original intention of Abraham, the father of all the religions. In his time, there was no religion. It was all spirituality. It was all secrets of the universe. So it says here about this moment in time that there's a unique light that comes from above on the 15th night of Aries.

18:49So it starts the night before. And this year, it starts on the night of April 1st. And this light enters every soul in this world who desires to receive it. And it says it is a light that we have not earned yet, but we get to borrow. we get to borrow in order to cleanse ourselves of any kind of negativity and fear that we may have. Because it is impossible for someone to overcome their ego with their ego. So think about it for a moment. If I ask you, overcome your fear, overcome your addiction, overcome your fear of being alone, overcome this part of you that thinks that you're worse than everyone or better than everyone.

19:28How are you going to do that? Where are you going to draw the strength, the energy to overcome your own negativity? Oftentimes we need some help to break the negativity that's inside of us, to open our eyes to even what's possible. You know, many times people who have PTSD or they have depression and they have, there's a, there's a challenge on a mental level, chemically, they cannot break out of it. Like tell someone who's depressed, just get out of your depression. They cannot. No matter what, they don't even have the tools and the faculty to get out of their depression. And if you yourself were in depression, you would understand.

20:10So they need to support from the outside. Sometimes people take medication. Sometimes people need a support group. Sometimes people need something to get them going, to get them out of the darkness. And this is what happens for the whole world on the full moon of Aries. that this light comes and penetrates each soul. And to the extent that each soul is prepared for it or ready for it, they will receive this light. So if you're not conscious of it, you only receive a little bit of it. If you're very conscious of it, you receive more of it. If you're studying for it and preparing for it, which we're doing now in this podcast, and now you understand why I'm doing the seven-day journey.

20:45The seven-day journey is to capture this light. I don't call it Passover. I don't call it things that people might feel are limited, but it is a portal. It's a window in time that the whole world should benefit from. And so that is why we'll learn deeper about it during that period. But this light is coming down to help you break free from the parts you are conscious of that you're finally ready to get rid of and the parts you're not. And it says about King David, this was his secret. Who are the ones that will receive this light on this night? It is the ones who feel poor. and what King David did is he was able so masterfully to live in two worlds.

21:31He was able to be a king. In fact, the most powerful king of his time were 3000 years ago. He was the wealthiest person of his time. He was also the most handsome person of his time. He was the most physically fit person of his time. In fact, the statue of David is the epitome of health in our modern world and modern medicine today. and at night he was able to let go of all of it as if he had nothing and he was poor again and he did this every day and as a result he became the highest soul of his generation and he became what's called a chariot of malchut he was he controlled this dimension of light that is called malchut he was the epitome of the most powerful vessel that exists and so we on this night connect to the energy and soul and consciousness of king david which is can you feel that you have everything and you are whole and complete and let go of all of it simultaneously and feel like you need everything?

22:30Feel that you need everything. Maybe need is not the right word, that you want everything. Want everything but need nothing. This is what it means to be poor. It is not poor in the sense of not having physical things. It is poor in the sense that you know, without the light of the creator, you have nothing. So yes, I have things. I have things. I have things in my life. But I need to meditate that if all those things went away, all I would want and desire is the light of the creator. And this goes back to our original lesson, to being sovereign. Being sovereign means that we can enjoy the physical world, but we are not beholden to the physical world.

23:17We can enjoy the physical world, but we are not slaves to the physical world. We can go on nice vacations and eat good food and be in love and be with great people and have amazing experiences. And by the way, if you've been blessed with wealth, enjoy your wealth. If you've been blessed with a great relationship, enjoy your relationship. If you've been blessed with beautiful children and family and friends, then you should enjoy it. And if the creator has blessed you, to be famous or to be well-known or you have a certain superpower that the rest of us don't have, enjoy that. That is your blessing.

23:48That is absolutely your blessing. And if you want it to last forever, if you want your blessings to last forever, if you want your children to be protected, if you want your home to be protected, if you want your wealth to be protected, you must also meditate at night to be poor, that you do not need any of it and you are still happy. and you are still in love with the light of the creator. There's a very famous story. A sages write about Job in the Bible. And it says that he was a very spiritual man, and he had a very great connection to the light of the creator. And the negative side, the angel of death, came to the creator and said, I'm sorry, quite the opposite.

24:28The creator came to the angel of death and said, have you seen how great is my student, Job? Like, he's so spiritual, he's so connected, he's so dedicated to the light of the creator. And the angel of death said to the creator, Of course he is. You've given him everything. He has a great family. He has wealth. He has power. He has a position. He has health. He has everything. The angel of death said to the creator, let me take a hold of him. Let me take everything away from him and we will see if he still serves you, the creator. We will see if he still has certainty in the light of the creator.

25:03We will see if the loss of everything that is dear to him in his life doesn't cause him to drop his consciousness. And so it happened. He lost his wealth. He lost his position. It says that his body became covered in boils. He lost his wife. He lost his children. And that is the ultimate test. And that was the test of Job. And Job remembered why his soul came to this world. It wasn't to be famous. It wasn't to be a great teacher or a great sage. That's not any of our purpose. It wasn't to even have children that will continue this wisdom and help many people. It wasn't to have wealth. It wasn't to help people.

25:46It was just one thing. To get to a place in his own life that he felt all that mattered was the light of the creator. All he desires is the light of the creator. All he craves is the light of the creator and that only the light of the creator is his source. And he was actually so happy to experience a moment in time that he could exercise that level of certainty. Not certainty when everything is great, but certainty when you physically don't have anything. And then it says, he passed the test and everything came back to him.

26:30And every night we should do this exercise. In this period of time, we are given the strength and the light from above to let go of the things that we do not have the power to let go of. Only, not because we're not meant to have them, but so that we can immortalize them. You want to bring health and immortality to your gifts? You want to bring immortality to your children? Do you want to bring immortality to the good things in your life? Then you must be willing to not have them. You must be willing to see if you are sovereign if you by yourself, just looking in the mirror, can be whole and can be complete.
