In short

Khalid Al-Hail, president of the Qatar National Democratic Party, argues that the Muslim Brotherhood and allied Islamist networks pose an existential threat to the UK and that Qatar’s government supports or shelters them. He also criticizes Qatar’s absolute monarchy, migration/asylum policies, and media influence operations.

Guest background

Al-Hail is a Qatari political opposition figure from Doha. He says he was targeted by Qatar’s intelligence after speaking publicly (including an account of being hidden for 22 days in 2010). He claims years of imprisonment and torture, later fleeing to the UK in exile with heavy security restrictions and limited ability to move publicly.

Key claims

The Muslim Brotherhood is “the biggest danger to the United Kingdom” and is ideologically linked to Iran’s regime and groups like al-Qaeda, ISIS, Hamas, and the Taliban. He claims Qatar uses asylum and soft-power/media (including Al Jazeera) to protect Islamists and influence UK politics via lobbying, NGOs, and narrative campaigns. He argues UK immigration should be controlled and that radical Islamist groups exploit legal protections.

Notable examples

He cites Qatar hosting figures he associates with 9/11 (Khalid Sheikh Mohammed), Hamas leadership, Taliban offices, and Osama bin Laden’s sons in Doha; he references a 2015 UK review of the Brotherhood and an alleged threat by Ibrahim Muneer. He also describes alleged cash-collection practices at multiple UK mosques and an asylum/benefits abuse story involving a driver.

2:59Khalid, thank you for coming on Thank you Give me a brief description of who you are I'm from Qatar I'm the president of Qatar National Democratic Party and described as the leader of Qatari position Sometimes I like or dislike that position because I believe the opposition should be within the country but the only issue we're facing that we don't have a constitutional monarchy system for me to be part of something within Doha as you know how is Qatar in general Qatar is run by one man and who basically has no voice I remember 2010 one newspaper asked me a question and I said around 6 ,200 companies going to be bankrupt at the same day the intelligence service was at my doorstep there and I was hidden for around 22 days and that's something that people don't really understand about Qatar.

4:09Qatar they think it's just the World Cup or the the way they want to see it. I didn't realise Qatar had an opposition I thought it was ruled by a monarchy. It is an absolute monarchy system. They promised us 2013 to have a democracy in the country because they are describing themselves outside Qatar as a constitutional monarchy system. That promise since 2013 until 2021 when actually happened the first election in Qatar. But when they start seeing the opposition, the other voice in Qatar start to win more seats, the emir all of a sudden said, hold on, we are in danger. He just woke up one day and he just canceled the whole election and he said that we don't need election in Qatar.

5:06He started lecturing people that election in parliament are going to be, create racism in the country. People don't need it. All what we need is me as a king to sign the checks. You don't need contribution. I need to control the money. I need to control your future. I need to control who I pay the money to. That's basically what he's done. Like a royal dictatorship. It is a dictatorship because what's happening in Qatar is basically against any principle or any principle of a constitutional monarchy, which they are actually promoting themselves as. Qatar, the only issue we have in Qatar, that we have a big voice within Doha that's in tie with the government of Qatar doing, for example, supporting and financing the Muslim Brotherhood, supporting the radical Islamists, sheltering Al-Qaeda people, sheltering all those terrorists within Doha.

6:08Do you know the mastermind of 9-11 in America, he was hidden in the farm of minister of interior in qatar did you know that osama bin laden's sons they actually live in doha in a lavish lifestyle do you know that most of hamas leaders until today they actually live in qatar most of the jihadists and the people that qatar was sheltering they have only two or three countries that they're exporting them to if they got exposed. For example, when the Muslim Brotherhood regime collapsed in Egypt, so most of the people gone to Turkey. And when Qatar, when Turkey made actually agreement with Egypt again and the conciliation with most of GCC countries, which is anti-Muslim Brotherhood, you won't believe it.

7:02Most of them here in UK, they've been granted asylum. UK is a third getaway for those terrorists, those Islamists, which is not accepted in the Middle East. They are here in Great Britain. This is what I want to know. So people know where we're going to go with this conversation. I want to know about your imprisonment, your torture while you're living in exile, the threat you come under. I mean, so far what you've said as a Muslim man speaking out against Islamic groups such as the Muslim Brotherhood and ISIS and Hamas, that's surely going to, I'm assuming that's putting you in danger already.

7:43Because I don't often hear Muslims speak against other Muslims, even if they're radical. This is a new experience for me. I've not even seen Muslims on the internet oust their own. Or do you not consider them your own? What you see here is a propaganda machine run by Islamist fronts in this country. Let me explain to you. You don't know our people better than we know ourselves. The Muslim Brotherhood is a radical movement being designated as a terrorist group in a lot of Arab countries and Muslim countries. what you need to know as well the radical regime of iran is actually came out from the muslim brotherhood ideology the al-qaeda came from the muslim brotherhood ideology the um isis al-nusra front most of the radical islamist even you see here in uk the only issue we have is not actually the acceptance or rejecting of such ideologies they have.

8:51They don't believe in any constitution. Why we designated them as terrorists? Because they don't believe in the system. They don't believe in the system. If we have, let's say, an ex-country, this country led by a king, and that king has a constitution, and that constitution should be respected, they will not do that. they have to follow their supreme spiritual scholar and that's what we are fighting against either you are part of the system that you are under or you should not be there for example in united kingdom here i've seen a lot of radical movements you know they are just provoking the society i mean ethically you cannot go and buy church in united kingdom and convert the next day to a mosque and he said we are coming here to take over we are coming here to dominate we are here what you are expecting from people expecting people to smile at you you are taking your own their own neighborhood you are provoking them you are insulting their own religion you are insulting the constitution you are not obeying the law of the country example qatar promoting to our people in Doha that, well, we own London.

10:12London is ours. You bought a shop in London which called Harrods. That doesn't mean that you own London. Money cannot buy low. But we've seen it in 2015 when Sir Jenkies was appointed by David Cameron to evaluate the matter of the Muslim Brotherhood. And he actually said they are extremists and their thinking is actually or their ideology is leading to terrorism. So why you designate them as a terrorist organization? Because of influence from countries such as Qatar, which they threatened the United Kingdom for economical clash. and the supreme leader of the Muslim Brotherhood in UK in that time, his name was Ibrahim Muneer, publicly on newspaper, he said, if you designate us as a terrorist organization, we cannot control, might be, like they say, his words like this, might be some terrorism acts in this country.

11:21What do you mean? You are blackmailing the system now. You are blackmailing a constitutional monarchy system that's been run for many years. People respected the law. People are living here as friends. People living here as one society. You come here from the door of a liberal door that we want to have freedom of speech. You want to be part of a democracy. You came here saying, claiming that you have a genuine fear of prosecution in your own country. But the reality is you come in here to actually provoke the society and change everything. You come to dominate. And that's what people will not accept.

12:05So you have to accept that rule number one, this country is actually a Christian country. And you have to accept that. But for you to come and start promoting that, you know, this country will be dominated by Islam. We come in here to take over from you. We're going to do this. What are you expecting from the people? To laugh at you or smile at you. Of course, people are going to defend their own democracy. And that's the fact. and what I see, so basically, you know, one of the main issues as well, when you go in every single neighborhood, you find four or five different mosques. I mean, the population is not that big for five, six mosques to be in one area within one, two miles.

12:54Example around Reading, I've been to one area and there is a mosque after mosque and after mosque and they are fighting each other. because they want to collect the donations. My question is, there is a lot of cash. Do they declare that cash? We don't know. No one knows. Do you think there should be a ratio of, say, 100 churches to one mosque? They actually should change the system, the whole system. If you want to give people a place for faith, which is okay, everyone can have his own place for faith, you have to control it you have to appoint the donation has to come to the government not to the scholars it has to go to the government and the government appoint people who can manage those mosques because it's out of hand i mean come come on you go there for example um i've seen i've been to one mosque in one area around Reading as well.

13:59And they were collecting money around 700 ,000 to 800 ,000. They started the campaign in one Friday. And after two Fridays, they collected all the money. But the question is, what was that building? It was a community service building for the population for the public my thing is that if you want to for example in our country they don't have freedom you think in our country you can open any mosque and collect donations that's illegal in our own country why are you speaking out against qatar and other muslims it's not about qatar or other muslims that's a different narrative because i'm not here to speak against Muslims.

14:46What I'm here to do is actually educating people that there is a big difference between normal people and radical people. Radical in every single country is there. The only issue we're facing is that this Islamist group and those terrorists, they are actually abusing the system, abusing our and they are actually defamating our character. I mean, come on man you walk in there for example can i can't walk like this in the streets because of some people being walking in the streets of uk with similar dress just to provoke the people and i've seen that on videos so the main idea here if of explaining to the public about the islamist and exposing those islamists and i don't want them to blame the people of the country i'll tell you why i don't want anyone british who have respect for himself to come against any other british or english person and say to him you are racist because you are not first of all in qatar they've tried to do what's been happening here in the past.

16:04In what sense? Qatar is a small, tiny country. We had a very limited population with a few founders' families, we call them. The founders' families of Qatar, those are the families who created the country, who've been there during the poverty. We didn't have money, we didn't have oil, we didn't have gas, we didn't have nothing. But we've been there to build our country from desert to where it was. The government of Qatar saw that that system is actually danger to the people. So what they've done? They tried to change it demographically. How? They brought people from abroad, from countries such as Iran, such as Pakistan, Yemen, Sudan, and people who have completely different culture differences than us.

16:58They don't eat the same food. They don't have the same faith. They have different point of views looking at things. And that's made our people very, very, very, very angry about it. Because how Qatar, how on earth like a person comes from abroad, his name, for example, let's say Ibrahim Amara, who came from Senegal. they put him in Qatar they changed his name to one of the founder families of Qatar and the people of Qatar say hold on what you're doing they don't even speak the language they are not part of this country and what happened after that the rape the rape percentage in Qatar increased our women when they go in the street they cannot actually live because some migrants from Syria in that time who've been granted the passports of Qatar and they just wore like us and walked in the street, they saw that any woman is a target.

18:05And that's actually increased the society anger in Qatar. So that thing, I've seen it in UK in different narrative. I tell you how. The only issue I can see very clearly here is the open migration system. is not controlled example someone who just came from war and what he saw yesterday is death and next day he see heaven example i've seen some reports online about some rapists they are an actual rapist and he say oh and the defending was like oh because he didn't understand the system he came from different country and he saw the girls walking in the street freely. They look nice. And he got provoked by them.

18:58I mean, what do you mean? What do you mean? This is how they live. You should just respect that. And I think before you integrate them to society, you have to educate them. If you're not willing to educate them, then why you open that system? Why are you claiming to the public and to the world that the immigration system should be the way it is now. I mean, look, I will explain to you something as well for you to understand, I mean, how dangerous it is. Those terrorists are being actually convicted as terrorists in a lot of Arab countries who've been in Turkey. They moved to UK freely. Within a few years, they got their asylum.

19:42And those who've been fighting Islamists and the radical Islamist movement. They've been living in legal limbo for a very, very long time because they said, oh, this is racism. What do you mean? I mean, what do you mean? How many Anjum Choudhury you want in this country? How many radical Islamists you want in this country? Where do you want to go? This episode is brought to you by ChatGPT. Slap me. Let's jar something loose. Ay, yes! I like that. The Certified Fresh Series returns. Your boss. You always like this? Or is this just an act? Oh no, this is mad. Oysters, everybody! There is a certain satisfaction when you work with someone. Maybe we could be a family. You sadistic pig! The Paper. New season streaming September 9th, only on Peacock. This show gives me a reason to laugh. What would you say to Anjum Chowdhury if he was sat opposite you now?

21:13I'd say he's a disgrace and he's not representing Islam. He represents himself. And if he were in Qatar, he would be in jail a long time ago. I mean, look, I've been in Luton in 2014 when I came to this country. and during my time in Luton, I've been to an area called Destinable Road and I was in shock. This street run by Sharia law, I saw the sign. I was in shock. I'm not in Britain. I'm not in the UK. I was there trying to hide out. I said, hide out from what? This is more danger for me than London. What is your view on Sharia law? And if you was to overthrow the monarchy in Qatar, would you abolish Sharia law?

22:04Islam is a spiritual belief. Spiritual belief. It's like any other religion. You live, you believe, you do whatever. It's a way of living. It's not a way of control. The Muslim Brotherhood ideology is opposite. What they want to do is implement every single, even historical stories that's not been even proven. It's not even part of the holy book, let's say. They want to implement it. And they'll say, oh, you have to follow it. And that's what is it. That's Islam. You have to do one, two, three, four, five, six. That's wrong. So if you agree to a constitution where a constitutional monarchy system, for example, where you respect the law and the country should be the land of law.

22:53So we go to the law. Why we go? There is only one law. That's it. The law of the country. And that's exactly what we believe. And that's exactly what should happen. Under Sharia law currently in Qatar, how, let's say, the gay men and women get treated? They want to tell the people, for example, that, oh, during the World Cup of Qatar, that they are, okay, welcome to come to our country. They are welcome to come and watch the football. They are welcome. But the truth is that even the law is against them. I mean, a lot of gay people in UK, say from Qatar, they came here, they claimed asylum from Qatar, from the GCC countries.

23:35But what is not right for you to bring someone from America to pretend that, oh, it's good to be gay in Qatar. It's not good to be gay in Qatar because they will not accept you. The government is against you. But they are just as a way to play with the lefties. You know, what's the problem? they always had beliefs that the left could believe Qatari's lies. So in one hand they say to them or to say to the public, oh, gay marriage is not accepted. The prime minister, on the other hand, go to the lefties in the West and say, no, they are welcome, they are accepted. So it's a hypocrisy and either you are accepting them or not.

24:18Could you be lying to get yourself into power using taqiyya to kind of water down your inner belief system so that you get in the big chair and then shift straight back to like an Islamic regime? Okay, first of all, the term taqiyya is basically believed by only one narrative of Muslims, which is the Shia Muslims. so the tuqya is is is is something that being uh used in uh in like the by the shia regime the iranian regime in iran and tahrana this to and it's used by actually the muslim brotherhood ideology me myself i don't need to because i'm very open about it since many years since i started my opposition i don't need to hide it like for example people saying to me why you go to an israeli mainstream channels for example because i do believe that we have to be friends what's your problem with that oh the israelis i said i mean look i for me being a friend with israelis and with the west and with the with the locals in gcc countries that's not a crime and Qatar 2017 I've done a conference in London called global Qatar global stability conference and because I invited one general from Israel the whole media that's supported by Qatar went against me they went in Doha and that's 2017 and they went in Doha explained to the people oh my God, the traitor, the guy who just brought the Jews.

26:06It's wrong. Look, my party called Qatar National Democratic Party. I believe in the democracy values. I don't believe in any other thing. Whatever Qatar want to implement, it will not happen with us. So is your party like our reform party? Are you like the Nigel Farage of Qatar? I'm not saying like I'm the Nigel Farage of Qatar. I'm not like anyone else because Qatar is completely different than UK but what I am, what I represent I represent a majority of the original real Qataris that we want to have a constitutional monarchy system a friendly country to the west a friendly country with Israel we don't want Hamas office we don't want Taliban embassy in Qatar.

26:59We have no interest in dealing with Islamists in our country. We want to look after our people. And just going back to Israel, and then I'm going to move on to what you would do with these groups if you was to get in power. I read that there was suspicion that you were funded by Israel. Is there any truth in that? Are they funding you to be here to spread the message against the Muslim Brotherhood, for example? First of all, I've been fighting the Muslim Brotherhood for many years. And this is way back before I even entered to the first Israeli media, which was in September after the airstrike on Doha.

27:41So absolutely, it's not true. And it's wrong. And I have enough money to survive and live. Have you got a net worth of 17 billion? I'm okay. I'm fine. I'm happy. When I came to this country, since I came 2014 until today, I didn't come as an economical migrant. I never claimed anything from the establishment. And I'm against that anyway, because I do know and I do believe that if you're not contributing to an economy, you should not take from it. there is one story happened to me few two years ago i wanted to hire a driver and and this is i swear on my mom life that this i'm not even lying to you this story happened 100 there's one guy so i interviewed him i said okay where you've been working he said in qatar medical office i said okay how much you are earning he said 5 000 pound said okay if you earn 5 000 pound you know how expensive it is in London anyway to have a driver.

28:51So I said, fine, how much you want from me? He said, I'll accept£3 ,000 as well. But I have certain timings that I need to work with the Qatari Medical Office in the morning. I said, fine. And I asked my PA, I said, okay, fine, take his bank account and let's pay him. Put him in the payroll so we can, because we have a system how to pay. They have to put him officially in the system. He said, no, no, no, no, no. I want cash. I said, you want cash? Why? He said, by the way, Qatari embassy paying me cash. And I want cash from you because I'm on benefit. He said, what? He said, I'm on benefit. I came here with my first wife and I divorced her.

29:39And she still, he divorced her in front of the system and then is it to me i'm married again and i have another wife and i've divorced her and she got another house he have one house two house and then he got himself a house and he claimed disability as well and they've given him a car for for this and he's getting money from his first wife second wife third wife and guess what he's using his own house for short let unbelievable place in us so this sort of things definitely we're going to create an opposition or people who are abusing the migration system in uk it's dangerous it's not something like acceptable look i am not racist against anyone and i know for example now a lot of people is actually talking very badly about Tommy Robinson because they don't know him personally.

30:42But Tommy, I know Tommy is not radical. I know Tommy is not the way being described in the media. I know, and I know the people he's dealing with, they are actually very provocative. If it was me, I don't know what I will do with him. If you put me instead of Toby, definitely I'll be upset about it. But here let's talk about how we can work together, not labeling people or nationalists as actually racist. Because he's Christian. This is his country. He's defending it. Yes. Look at it from this point of view. In my country, it's the same. We have scholars. they defend the religion they defend islam if you come there with the bible in the street you'll be beaten you'll not be welcomed so if you come with the bible in our country and you say oh let's preach for jesus and this you cannot do it basically you'll be beaten in the street are there any churches in qatar there's one church which is the uh this church for they created it i think a few years ago just for everyone, mainly Maroons and all sorts of things because we had a big pressure from the West to actually build a church.

32:06But it's not open like for you to come and rent a place and tomorrow you open church and Qatar is controlled. And that's what I said to you, it should be controlled in UK the way you open the mosque. Because you cannot have five, six, seven fronts at the same place, same area. This person, for example, or this group represent the sunnah, this present the Shia, this present Sufis, this present this certain mosque are radical. You cannot control it. Either you appoint the imam and you basically as government collect the donations and pay their salaries and maintain the place and you have a control, but you cannot have it open for people.

32:49The same thing in our country. I'm not saying you bring something new. So for even Muslims now who are going to look here, and I'm sure a lot of people are going to think, oh, this guy is like this. I'm not like anything. You have to listen to what I'm saying. In our countries, we do exactly what we want them to do. We control churches. We control mosques. The same should be happening in the UK. So what you're saying is, to simplify in layman's terms, you understand you're a guest in this country. Yes, 100%. As I would understand if I went to yours, I'd be the guest. And I wouldn't even consider living the way I would here if it went against the grain.

33:28It's kind of common decency. Sadly, we're flooded with British left woke people that object to people that want to protect their nation and therefore they start smearing them and lying about them and twisting their words. I'm glad that you've used the racist word because can you confirm that Islam isn't a race? Who better than you to confirm that? It's not. I've criticized the regime of Qatar, which has nothing to do with the Muslim Brotherhood ideology, but all of a sudden, the supreme spiritual leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, who died a few years ago, issued a fatwa on me. For what? Which bases?

34:15Which crowns? No one knows. what i'm saying to you back here that they are politicizing the religion the main fight between us and the muslim brotherhood and islamist is that they are making it looks like it's a faith but it's actually not what they want is completely different So isn't Islam just Islam? Islam is a religion. It has people who like follow it, spirituality, beliefs. That's, I'm sure everyone will respect everyone else's religion. And you're considered a moderate, is that right? Very moderate. Not only me, my majority. But what you see, because you open the, you know what's the problem?

35:06You open the door for the radicals to come to your own country. and then you see the worst example of Islam and then you come against all the Muslims. That's wrong. What you see here, they're not even represented by us. There's a lot of people here. They are not actually part of what we believe. First of all, they don't know their language. Islam came in Arabic. They don't know the language. They translate it the way they want. and that's one of the issues we have. They have different sense of looking at things. Example, that video online, the guy came inside the church, still a church, beautiful English church, beautiful English church.

Read the full transcript

35:55Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar. He started to make a zan and thing. In a church? In a church. You can look at the video online. Which we can both agree is fucking outrageous. No, it's unacceptable. No, our people, majority didn't accept that. Who accepted that? The people which you see actually and you fight against every day. And after this interview, there's a lot of people who doesn't know my beliefs. They will come against me. It will be a big bizarre. But for me, it's okay. I'm saying the truth. Are you not worried about the backlash you'll get from this, just speaking out against Islamists? and also defending Christianity and someone else's culture and appreciating the fact that whilst you're in the UK, British culture is king, not yours.

36:46Exactly. Will you receive backlash? I will. How are you going to deal with that? Basically, I've received some messages already by one video from Tommy Robinson. They said, now you go to the enemy of God and things like that. I said, you have to listen. this man have his own earth. I have nothing to do with what he's saying, yes? That's his country. He say whatever he wants to say, that's his belief. If he believe in one, two, three, four, five, that's his belief, it's not mine. But I have a common ground, respect for something. He wants to protect his country and I want to protect my country.

37:29I'm anti-Islamist, he's anti-Islamist, so there is some common ground of certain cases. It doesn't mean that we have to be a match 100%, but there are certain cases. There are a lot of people, like even some ideas of Nigel Farage I like, some ideas of a lot of people, but I don't like hypocrisy. I don't like it to come and say, oh, we are here. I mean, look, a lot of Muslim Brotherhood here in the UK, when you look at them, I mean, even in the UK House of Lords, they are in house of floors. They go everywhere. 39:02Streaming September 9th, only on Peacock. This show gives me a reason to live. Are they the political leg of Islam? Yes, it's actually because Islam is not political Islam. We are anti-political Islam. Islam is a faith. And the Muslim Brotherhood are the tip of the spear of all the other terrorist organizations? 100%. Is that correct? Yes, correct. 100%. The Muslim Brotherhood is the biggest danger to the United Kingdom. They are coming to take your own country to control you. and they are coming to manipulate you. They understand there is a lot of weakness within a lot of people here. And this is the same group, organization, that put a fatwa on you.

39:41Yes. And it's important that we discuss exactly what a fatwa is because Solomon Rushdie had one on him. His fatwa, I think, came from Iran. My fatwa came from the scholar of the Muslim Brotherhood because I was against the regime of Qatar and somehow they said, Okay, if there is two leaders fighting, even if they are Muslims, you have to kill one. And that was the basis of Al-Qalada. So they want to kill you? Yes. I mean, they've got quite a good success rate, haven't they, Islamists? If they want someone dead, they normally end up dead. They end up, yes. I mean, how do you feel about that? Look, I mean, you visited me, you've seen the security measures.

40:21I do see like living in nowhere, like no one could enter the areas. and I've been like this for a long time. I can't go walk with even in the streets. Because you're living over here in exile, aren't you? Yes, I'm living here in exile because I've chosen to respect the dignity of my people. A lot of my people tried to do what I do and a lot of them defected. if you've seen in 2014 and 17 a lot of royal family of qatar is actually defected from the regime the only issue they face is actually a defamation of character and the clothes we call the wolves with the wolves on them they are just trying them out so if you respect your own people and you love your own country you should give them a place to debate maybe you would not like the idea but can you believe a criticism if you criticize the regime of qatar you end up in prison okay i'll tell you a story one guy just written a poetry a poetry a point yeah he'd been jailed for 15 years for writing a poem yes you can read it online his name is muhammad al-ajmi so he's writing poetry haram not haram it's not even has an islamic angle You write a poetry and you criticize anything in the country, it's a crime.

41:49So the poem is being critical of the regime. Yes. Oh, I see. So he's taken 15 years in prison. Okay. And this is the exact tyranny that you're fighting against. Yes. Talk to me about going to prison, torture, and then fleeing Qatar. Just so people get an idea of what you've been through. Because people could quite easily think you have been paid to do this. They could think you're paid opposition. They could think you're funded by the Jews. it would be perfectly reasonable for people to come to that conclusion. But so far up to now, people, unless they've started researching you while we're talking, they won't realise that you've actually been sent to prison by these people and tortured, which is well documented.

42:26Let me go back to one thing. First of all, I'm a politician. I'm not a podcaster or journalist or any sort of things, which means I have the full right to open any relationship I want with any country I want for the sake of my country. Israel is one of them that has to be respected. Britain, one of them. America, one of them. Any country in the world that's willing to discuss and talk, I'm happy to. So Israel or not Israel, that is something for me as a politician and leader of a party to actually decide. I don't care. I don't feel ashamed of anything because I didn't do anything wrong. That's number one.

43:08Number two, if labeling people who basically condemn a crime like 7th of october is basically you say you are pro israel because you condemn 7th of october i mean have you seen the footage yes it's disgusting you know what qatar want they want you and every single britain and the Americans just to believe that, oh, yes, Hamas done what they are done on 7th of October, but you know, they are okay. We can integrate them. We can talk to them. We can have a ceasefire with negotiation. I mean, come on. I mean, that's unbelievable. Nobody will even think of it. Like if your brain is actually here, you will not even think to negotiate.

44:01I would not negotiate with Hamas. I don't want them there. I would not want Hamas there. Number one. Number two, British people have to think as well because Qatar doing a lot of propaganda, soft power machine within UK. If you've seen a few months ago, few terrorists from Taliban kidnapped British citizens in Afghanistan. Right. And then the whole world, like, I mean, look, the biggest establishment in the world, the MI5 and MI6, couldn't actually negotiate a release of their own people? Why would you go to a country like Qatar, would you actually teach them what the meaning of intelligence to go negotiate?

44:46You know why? Because basically they own Taliban. Taliban without Qatar, they have no legitimacy. Qatari regime created Taliban. Qatari regime protected Taliban, the only embassy in the world for Taliban is in Qatar. So what they do? They create the crime. They are criminals. The boy king of Qatar, this man is a criminal and he have a criminal mindset. What you don't know, we know as Qataris. We always, and sorry I would say that, but you know what we call him? The boy king of Qatar, the man who hide under his mother's skirt. And why would we say that? I'm not joking. I'm not joking. That is actually...

45:36Don't give a fuck, do you? No, no, I don't care. No, that's a fact. What does he think about that kind of talk? I don't care what you think. Look, they've been defamating my character for many years. He could say whatever he wants to say about me. I have no say. Like, look, I'm not a government. And he's very much in bed with terrorists. I mean, I'm not accusing him. It's fact. You have to go and check. Write Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the mastermind of 9-11. Where he was living? Qatar. Where he was hiding? In the minister of interior of Qatar house. Number one. Okay, where is Hamas leaders living?

46:13Qatar. Where is the political office of Hamas? Qatar. Where is Taliban office? Qatar. Where is the sons of Osama Bin Laden who slaughtered 3 ,000 people in America living? Qatar. And what parts of London do Qatar own? My people from Qatar, when they come here, you can, Wallah, we are here walking. We own London because we own Harats. You own a shop in London, a supermarket. Doesn't mean you own the law. So they manipulate our people. When you go to London, don't worry. You own the country. You have Harats. You have next door the Mayfair Hotel. You have the Claridge's Hotel, Shard, One Hyde Park.

46:53All this is ours. and one time I filmed a video from the fourth season, 10 Trinity Square, between the Shad and Qatari investments and the London prison, the historical prison, which is in the city of London. Do you know that one? And I said, between Qatari investments, on the right and the left is justice. And that's the place they should be in. not hanging around the shard and the other place. They should be in that prison. And I'm warning, I'm warning, because we are not taking very soft steps toward the people who robbed our country and accepted the corrupted money from the current boy king of Qatar.

47:44We will take back our money. We will take every single penny. If you think that you are a front of the state of Qatar in UK, even if you are British, You'll claim our money back because there is no... Okay, I didn't sign the check. He signed it. One man. There is no decision, the decision for one man. And this man could be crazy. I mean, a man like him. I mean, look, this Tamim is crazy. But this guy, before he come to UK, he spent millions of dollars to promote himself before he come here. I mean, look, he's like a kid sitting next to Trump. Trump's secretary, oh, he's a great man. He's a happy man.

48:26And Tamim, this is exactly what you want. He believed that he should be worshipped. I mean, can you believe he spent hundreds of millions for his pictures to be around Qatar? I mean, that's insane. Fine. You want the truth? Fine. I dare Tamim bin Hamid in front of you. I dare him. Open the constitution, put the parliament, and allow people to criticize. He will not sit in the power one week. We're not going to forget prison, torture and escape. But while we're on the subject of Qatari money, so they don't own the law of the UK, but they own a lot of property around London. Big, big money. So with that in mind, what influence has Qatar got on the British government?

49:11Basically the same influence they've done, they employed in 2015, when Britain was so close to designate the Muslim Brotherhood as actually a terrorist organization. Here Qatar influence started, a lot of money pumped, campaigned, lobbying. It would be a danger. It could be a danger. It's dangerous. Don't do that. Not now, not yet. And basically through the Qatar trade office, I remember even in Birmingham, I've heard something like this, spending six billion pounds. It's only just numbers, big numbers you hear right and left. Tamim is not willing only to spend the money to influence the politicians.

49:56He's willing to spend the money to basically own the influence of some certain politicians in the UK. Example, how much money they pay as a speaker fees to a lot of politicians in the UK? Legally, yeah? Even if it's declared. I'm not saying it's corrupt. I'm saying fine. They are paying it legally. I paid, I paid legally speaker fees to some MPs, people normal for my conference. And they attack, oh my God, like I've done a big crime. It's the same thing they do. I'm fighting them with their own field. Nothing wrong with that. I mean, how you find out from the transparency report that published by the parliament, you understand?

50:47So example, how Qatar will work with you here in UK, they create fronts, NGOs. I mean, bush, like NGOs, like no one ever heard of them. Certain journalists paid. The Guardian funding. Guardian. I don't want to accuse directly. I don't want, but I will tell you exactly my experience. every single thing I do there is few journalists The Guardian and others they are waiting they will come bother me or my lawyers with bullshit stories I don't know for where they bring it and they just put it because there is a narrative I if you go to Khaled Al-Hel Institute I want you to go and check there is a report called Qatar Narrative Watch 2025 2025, September, we referenced 500 articles.

51:38The story will come up from Qatar, will be spreaded through different ways, different media outlets has gone to influencers to be believed. And I was in shock how they are managing the narrative. They are strong in media because they're paying the money. They have brains behind them. so expect an attack but I warn people Qatar is masters in hackers in hacking they hacked a lot of politicians it's not from today go check Google New York Times Qatar backed hackers what they've done what they've done to the ICC judges what they've done to a lot of people from in terms of hacking so they will hack you Qatar will hack you will defimate your character, will put three stories against you.

52:35Three stories. I'm not saying one, not three. Example, in America, I was shocked that some of my friends actually in CIA, he told me, you know, we hear something about you. I said, what? He said, someone told us that you've been, you are a front of the Qatari government. I said, you're in front of who? He said, the Qatari government. He said, good. I said, what's the other side saying? Oh, you are a Mossad agent Look at the second story First story with the people To Qadr He's a betrayer of the nation He's pro-Israel And Al Jazeera attacked me personally Al Jazeera, the mainstream of Qadr Attacked me personally What's their agenda?

53:18And who are they working for? Because they seem like a very biased media outlet to me Okay, first of all Al Jazeera channel been created in the 90s the first visit to Al Jazeera channel was from Shimon Beres the president of Israel in that time because they promised the west they would open the country to the west he said fine okay so here we go Israel will open a trade office with you and Shimon Beres will visit the country within months from that they just stabbed them at the back and basically sponsored Osama Bin Laden. Who ever heard about Osama Bin Laden? No one hear about Osama Bin Laden.

54:01Did you hear about him before? No. Al Jazeera, the first channel that promoted Osama Bin Laden, the leader of Al Qaeda in 1999. They are putting all his speeches and promoting his ideology to the people. And that's why we know Osama Bin Laden. Otherwise, there is no Al Qaeda. We would never hear about them. The second step, Hamas from 2006 until today, Qatar, not only hosting Hamas leaders, Al Jazeera is promoting their ideology every single day, promoting them. They are the media speaker or media front for Hamas. And that's one of the things that people don't actually like in Qatar. Don't think all Qataris like the government of Qatar.

54:55No, we have a lot of people who don't like Al Jazeera. You want to laugh? Did Al Jazeera ever spoken about one case in Qatar? Did they criticize the government of Qatar about human rights, for example? No. This episode is brought to you by ChatGPT. Hey, it's Bill Simmons from the Bill Simmons Podcast. Have you guys heard about ChatGPT work? It's the new way to use ChatGPT for bigger multi-step projects. 55:40And we're back. Streaming on Peacock. May I present to you the award-winning staff of the Toledo Truth Teller. Slap me. Let's jar something loose. Aye, yes! I like that. The certified fresh series returns. You're a boss. You always like this? Or is this just an act? Oh no, this is mad. Oysters, everybody! There's a certain satisfaction when you work with someone. Maybe we could be a family. You sadistic pig! The Paper. New season streaming September 9th, only on Peacock. This show gives me a reason to live. Human rights. Modern day slavery. Is that still a thing? Yes, still. Still going on? Still going on forever.

56:16it will be there forever actually every single citizen of Qatar now is a slave and define what modern day slavery is okay first of all the kafala system is actually slavery because you come to the country you have to hand out your passport and you have to live with the you have to work for a certain person you cannot travel until he say so or until the government approve it and that's slavery The second thing, the citizens of Qatar, they are slaves because they have no say. I mean, you cannot say anything against the government or you cannot have an opinion. So that's slavery. So if you treat them, you know, they don't want the Qatari people to be rich.

57:00Don't go by what you see here in London. They're basically giving them big salaries. We are given good salaries on Qatar. The problem is my people deserve more because they've been spending a lot of my people money to support Hamas and other leaders. Imagine now what you're facing here, for example, in the UK. Imagine that the country is going into debt because of migration system. and that migration system taking billions of dollars from the people tax money and being given actually to some people that actually terrorists. Remember Mr. Hook and all that people, they found shelter in UK and they are all Muslim Brotherhood.

57:53All that people which you've been fighting is actually Muslim Brotherhood and they've been living on the taxpayers' money and that's one of the issues. You know one thing, Imagine now you've been exiled in Qatar and you came to Qatar and you claimed asylum. Do you know if you live 100 years in Qatar, you will never get the passport? You will never be Qatari? Do you know that? I do now. Not only that, any Arab country, if you come to our country, claimed asylum, you will never be granted our nationality. Is there any concrete evidence out there that proves that you're not a Mossad agent or that you're not a red flag false opposition?

58:38Is there a reference point somewhere for someone to go that proves that you're none of the things you've been accused of? I mean, look, first of all, I've been struggling for almost 11, 12 years. I didn't see my family. I don't see my kids now for a long time. Islam do play a long game though. Do what? Islam do play a long game. Look, I'm a human being. Human beings, I mean, I have no intention of pressurising myself or torturing myself. Why would I live the way I'm living? fighting every single day for the past 10, 11 years. And as you know, when I came to this country, I still remember I was planning to go to America and that was, I had 10 years visa to America.

59:40Qataris sent thieves to my hotel. Can you believe that? I have the criminal report and I was struggling. I had no other option than just to claim asylum because I was waiting for the police to catch that person. They say they identify a person with that name, but they never captured him. They said he came as an asylum seeker in 1992, pretended to be a lawyer, and he basically took my passport and I never saw my passport. So after that, I've been living in pressure here since that time when I've been forced to claim asylum at the end of the day because I can't say illegal. but I've been living on my own money.

1:00:25I spend millions in this country. I never claimed a penny, and even from a lawyer to a lawyer, lawyer to a lawyer. And I've been advised once around seven or eight years ago that if you claim money from the government, they will actually give you the asylum because if you start claiming money from them, they will put you in the benefit system like that. I say that's called fraud because a person like me who has a lot of money, who can feed a lot of people, cannot be in that position. But my point is that I understand what people might say and I leave it to people to think and believe. We have no, I mean, reason.

1:01:13I don't have a reason to be like that. I was living very comfortably in Qatar. I mean, no reason for me to live in exile. I mean, would you like to live every day under the rain or this cold weather? Something like that for an Arab person like me. I don't know if I had 17 billion in the bank, maybe. No, not like that. Let's go back to Qatar because I don't want this interview to pass without talking about your imprisonment and torture. Yeah. Because that really got my attention. Talk me through that. Why did you go to prison? What was the experience like? How far did they take the torture? And how did you get out of that situation?

1:01:46So 2014, I was in London in escape, not exiled yet. I was escaping from Tamim. So I was here and I've called my ex-wife to come from Europe to Italy, to the UK. I received a call, I think I need to double check there, but 2014 is a long time now. So the call from Tamim, he told me, oh, by the way, let's sort out everything, come back to Qatar.

1:02:19and I said to him on the phone, of course, you heard from the king himself. I said, of course, I'm coming back. I said in Arabic, means on your right, Abu Hamad, like I'm coming, of course. I've been there from the airport, I've arrived. I still remember that scenery, the variety in Qatar. I look from the window I saw two black BMW I said this is a good sign with around eight people wearing Qatari, I said okay that's a good sign so I've left the airplane, I entered to the BMW to the diplomatic area I've been there, they gave me karak tea and they gave me gahuah and I was sitting they took my passport as promised me just to stamp to make it the vib service and then uh one guy from which is the vice president of qatar national security his name is jasim rustom he came with two officers and he said hello i said hello he said now you just come with us I said, where?

1:03:38I said, okay. We left outside and I saw a Land Cruiser, G Land Cruiser, you know, the white Land Cruiser. I knew now we're going somewhere different because from BMW to Land Cruiser is a different story. So I've been to that Land Cruiser and then we've been directly to the intelligence office. I remember I entered there. It was a long table. Long table in a very beautiful, actually, sitting area where in a few minutes' time, Tamim, the emir of Qatar, came and his brother-in-law and the head of intelligence in that time, Ghanem Lekbasi, and a few people came as well with them, including Jasam Ristam.

1:04:28so they entered and they were sitting like I'm sitting I still remember the table and I said you know what I brought you here you are rotten in jail you piece of shit and did it still have here my leg he attacked me with the ashtray then when I entered the integration room it was exactly like that a big black screen at the back where actually people can see like Tamim. It was a purple room, purple room. And there was one, two, three, four people and one table. And they're sitting. And then they come, they put your hand like that. And they close your eyes. The first day, I remember, 16 hours like this.

1:05:22and when you talk they basically hit you with the with the strong stick and then they took me to the doctor next day and then they took me back to the room said you have to rest so i entered to the room it was white beautiful white room i'm not describing something like it's rubbish no no it was beautiful or white room. If a drop of water dropped, you will hear the echo. What they've done? They opened for me Al Jazeera channel. Just like this small screen at the top. And they put one, you cannot enter the toilet alone. They put someone with you to go to the toilet. And then, for 36 hours, no sleep because the light is on and they are torturing you with the drop sounds of the water.

1:06:18Tick, tick. Oh, my God. I can't believe it. And then I got mad. I said to them, this is making me crazy now. And then they start beating. Start beating, actually. They put you as well. They put a towel on your face and they put you in water. You prefer to die than to be there. How long did the torture go on for? Oh, long. 20, 22 days of torture. It was bad. Three weeks of torture. Yeah. And that was every day? Every day. And what information were they trying to get out of you? They said that I am the one who given the information to Saudi Arabia about the Gaddafi leaks. And it created a big issue between them.

1:07:06He had to step down from power. You know that? The previous king. He stepped down from power because of that. And they said that I was defamating the regime character with the Western media in that time because there's certain information nobody knows about and it's gone outside. I told them you might have an outsider. And actually I refused some instructions outside, which somehow maybe I cannot talk about everything. But there are certain instructions I refused to do outside. When you were being tortured, did you think you're going to end up dead anyway? Yes, but I told him one thing. Like I'm seeing you now.

1:07:50I told him I will leave and I will be your biggest nightmare one day. Like this. And look, God's great. Look, God's great. Whatever God you believe in, God's great. I tell you why.

1:08:04Because I was seeking for justice. And I can see it with my own. This guy is collapsing and they are collapsing. So how did you escape that torturous scene? So after I finished from there, I had one guy which is very influential in the country. And I've spoken with him that I said, okay, I'll pay five million rial, which is around one million pound now. And I said, just I need four or five cars to drive me over the border with Saudi Arabia. and we passed though because there was security like they had like police badges nobody will check them so I left from Saudi from Qatar and I enter Saudi Arabia and from Saudi to the airport I remember I booked the flight to Egypt from there because it was just the collapse of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and then I left to Egypt in that time, 2014.

1:09:09So because I remember from Egypt, I came to UK. And you've been campaigning ever since? No, I've been campaigning from before. But you've continued campaigning, I mean. Yeah. But being tortured didn't put you off? No. You didn't think I'm going to be quiet now? No, no, no. You thought I'm going to go full steam ahead? If you think, no, no, no, no, no, no, at all. Because I believe freedom needs courage. And I see people in this country being followed and labeled with different sort of labelization, like they are racist or whatever. I remember what was happening to me in Qatar. And I know it. I feel it.

1:09:50I know exactly what I'm talking about. And I know that working against the establishment, they will defamate your character. But in the end, justice will win. You will win. Britain will win. If Britain will choose to designate the Muslim Brotherhood organization as a terrorist organization, I promise you, you will see a lot of fronts disappear. A lot of issues which you see now in the UK are going to be gone because it will be criminalized. you will see a lot of wealth coming back to the people and people are struggling in this country on the other hand there is some foreigners which actually living a very lavish lifestyle and it's came most of that money like the example i gave you at the beginning of the same guy that's actually getting three to three houses from the government and at the same time renting his own house and he make more money and they don't care about the system if they catch you you know if they catch you what they will do nothing you'll end up going out of the prison freely like i've seen a story about one somalian woman a somali woman yes the the one who uh conned the system for hundred thousand or something like that 110 000 she's one of many This is nothing.

1:11:19I mean, comparing to what we actually see. Anyway, so there are some people coming here to revenge because that's what they believe. They believe that we have to revenge from the British establishment, which actually took over our country for many years. At the moment, Britain's being flooded with illegal migrants and legal migrants from a lot of Islamic countries. Yes. Do you think Britain could one day become an Islamic state? UK will become an Islamic state? It's becoming an Islamic state. It's actually becoming an Islamic state. I mean, have you seen the pro-Palestine protests around the streets?

1:12:00I mean, I was shocked, even British people, who doesn't know anything about the story. It's going out. You know, once I've spoken to one protester, I was in London, and I just asked the lady, she was pro-Palestine. I'm not against Palestine, I'm not against nothing. I just was wondering if she really understands what she's actually doing. And I told her, what are you doing here? Because I've been disrupted, I can't drive in the streets because of this protest. She said, yeah, I've seen, and she took her mobile, and she started to show me the footage of 7th of October. I said, who did this? She said, no, Israel, look how they're killing people.

1:12:43I said, this is 7th of October. This footage belonged to 7th of October. The Hamas terrorist done that actually to the Israelis. It's not the opposite. And she said, oh, no, no, no. Radical. because she said, how much you're paid to come here? I'm sure she'd been given 30, 40 pounds just to, and they don't understand the story. But coming back to what I wanted actually to say about that, that a lot of people in this country, a lot of people like migrants and others, they basically come in because there is a problem back home. promoting, they are promoting that if you come to the system, giving them an educational system.

1:13:34If you come, for example, from Egypt by sea, they give them the route, how you enter to the country and how you go to UK and how much you have to pay is very cheap because coming to UK is very easy. I had one guy, I've met him once around Harrods. He's an Arab guy. I came for asking some money, five pounds. I said, how you came to this country? He said, oh, from Italy. How you come from there? He said, oh, I come. This episode is brought to you by ChatGPT. Hey, it's Bill Simmons from the Bill Simmons Podcast. Have you guys heard about ChatGPT work? 1:14:53work with someone maybe we could be a family you sadistic pig the paper new season streaming september 9th only on peacock this show gives me a reason to live go every two months said you have passports here i don't have a how are you coming and going two months you're coming back and forth of course there is people who's protecting them who's giving them the way the path so if you're not gonna put law that will actually put them in prison for a very long time that's not happen So moving forward, you're going to continue your crusade to overturn the Qatari monarchy and you want to become in power there one day.

1:15:31So I'm going to put your social media links in here so people can watch, make up their own minds. I'm sure there's going to be a lot of scrutiny over things you've said and done and even me having you on here, but no one's off limits. But other than manage the mosques, prescribe the Muslim Brotherhood, what does Britain need to do to save itself from the Islamification of Britain? They have, first of all, to support sanctions against the regime of Qatar. I'm working heavily now on a big legal file to sanction the Qatari government because the money movement is by one man. So there is no system in place to control that.

1:16:19So he could wake up in the morning and say, oh, let me give money to this terrorist, Mr. Hook in UK, give him one million pounds, cannot control it. So I'm working on something and it's a big movement. And I'm sure, I'm certainly sure, like UK, if they will support that, it will get a benefit the country. That's number one. Number two, if UK want to have peace in their own mind, they need to change the immigration system. and they need to look into the matters from the wide window, which is basically if someone comes from any Arab or Islamic countries, you have to put certain measurements in place to understand if they come here, they will obey the system, or the spiritual scholar.

1:17:25And I do believe once they start putting that system in place and you actually have to cancel, why do you give them British citizens anyway? Why? I don't understand. And would you be in favour of deporting any Muslim that's claiming benefits from the British system? Any fraud, yes. Of course, yes. Any fraud, yes. I mean, look, we are human, someone hungry, we will feed them. But if you abuse the system, yes. Here's a wild card for you. Do you think one day there's a chance that you could possibly leave Islam? Who? You. I don't think so. I did say it was a wild card, but that's my job. I'm a crazy motherfucker.

1:18:10No, it's all right. I respect what you say. But for me, as I said to you, as I am not radical, as I am not part of whatever the political Islam they promote and for my spiritual beliefs, my spirituality is completely different. I mean, it has nothing because I believe a human being is hard to God. You don't need someone in the middle. It doesn't matter what's your faith. so for me I would not say such thing in the on the way that you are describing so not so I just thought I'd ask I thought I'd put it out there I'll take it I'm going to put your social media links in here people can follow your work they can watch your crusade before we wrap this up and I thank you for coming on and also this is one of very few interviews you've actually done in English so thank you very much for taking the time and effort to do that as well That's duly noted.

1:19:07Before we wrap it up, what would your final message be to the citizens of UK? I believe the citizens of UK, they have to stick into the British values. You have to reject Qatari radical regime values. You have to reject Muslim Brotherhood values. you have to force the government and establishment to strengthen your own churches to strengthen your own immigration system if you're not happy about something you have to say it you don't have to label anyone as racist because you and you need to think twice not to be manipulated no one is here telling you oh you don't have to be the one you are. No one told you, okay, you know, you just have to follow this or to be radical on this.

1:20:04No. People want you to understand that there is foreign enemies that they want to end you. So that's your advice to the British public. My advice to the British public is to like and subscribe to this channel so I can keep bringing very interesting guests onto the show and you can make what you will of it and follow Khalid on his journey. I think X is probably the only platform you're allowed on. So that's what I'll put in there so people can follow your work. And Instagram, I believe. Instagram, Snapchat. I'll open TikTok as well. I'll put them all in there and then you can follow him. And if it all goes wrong, don't shoot the messenger.

1:20:42But it's been a joy. Thank you very much. Thank you, mate. Thank you very much, mate.
