In short

A conversation with “Bishop Kai” (branded by media as a far-right bishop) arguing that the UK is in crisis due to failed immigration policy, secularization, and what he calls “woke” control of church and politics. He claims these pressures could lead to sectarian conflict/civil war, and he links church governance changes to moral decline. He also describes an alleged attempted murder via tampering with his car’s wheel nuts.

Guests

Bishop Kai, described as Britain’s first far-right bishop; he says he is a missionary bishop in the Confessing Anglican Church (UK-wide diocese). Background: raised high-church Anglican; converted/returned to Anglicanism after an evangelical experience in his teens; says he became a bishop overseeing thousands of churches in multiple countries; claims decades of ministry and non-stipendary work.

Key claims

mainstream media and left groups “redefine extremism”; immigration is economically unsustainable and exploited by gangs; Church of England governance (post-1969 General Synod) is “infested” with liberals; Islam’s “core tenets” are incompatible with UK society; the state is moving toward a police-control model.

Notable examples

his Sky News coverage; threats and Charities Commission action; the February 2025 Swansea incident where 7 of 13 wheel nuts were allegedly removed; references to Church of England churches allowing Islamic prayer and to the Church’s stance on Tommy Robinson.

57APT.com by selecting work mode, available on plus and pro plans. Britain's first far-right bishop. You're considered extreme. I am a hated man. Somebody attempted to murder me. The UK is in an absolute mess. Immigration is out of control. Enough is enough. You can't just have an endless flow of people coming into the country. A faith whose core tenets are the eradication of every society they go into, the establishment of a global caliphate, that Sharia law would govern all society, and then you should be executed. Those are not my words, that's the words of the Quran. How many churches have opened their doors to allow Islamic prayer?

33I defy you to name one mosque that's allowed a Christian to go in there and preach. First female Archbishop of Canterbury. What's the first thing on her agenda? Spend£100 million on reparations for slavery and we're going to root out misogyny in the church. This country is perishing. The West needs to wake up and realise the enemy is not at the gate. The enemy is living in the city already. What does the church need to do to restore its testicles?

05For the last year, I've been working with Ryan from Change, and now they're sponsoring our channel so we can keep bringing you these conversations. 2:55Bishop Kai, thanks for coming on. Thank you for having me. Branded as the far-right bishop. Yeah. Sky News have done a good hit piece on you. Hope Not Hate have attacked you. I want to talk to you all about that and what you would consider an attempted murder, an attempt on your life. Why have the mainstream and the far-left merged and branded you as the far-right bishop? I think because I hold them to account and I expose the hypocrisy of their political standpoint. I expose the fallacy of the narratives of mainstream media. And I will not back down from the truth that is both scripture and the reality of what is happening in the United Kingdom politically, socially, culturally.

40That's a fight that I've engaged in. and because of that and because I speak truth to power as Christ did, I am a hated man. So there we go. Britain's first far-right bishop. I'm a hated man. There you go. And in your eyes, how do you see the UK at the moment? What kind of state is it in for you to speak out against it that gets you chastised by the left and the media? The UK is in an absolute mess. We're probably in the worst situation that we have ever been in as a country since the formulation of the United Kingdom. We have huge economic problems that are not getting better under this current government.

23And I don't blame them solely for where we're at today. This is the failure of consecutive government since 1997. You know, when Blair came in and his dreams of being president of Europe and a socialist Great Britain, we entered into a rapid decline. And we've had a change of government, but we've had no change in government policy since 1997. Immigration is out of control. And not just – we're busy trying to put plasters over the cracks of problems instead of facing them head on. We have just as many people entering the UK legally and never leaving as we do people coming across the channel on small boats or coming in by other means.

11We have an immigration system that is broken beyond measure, not fit for purpose, and is doing exactly what it has been designed to do. I hear people all the time say, you know, Bish, the system's broken. The system is working perfectly because it has been crafted and manipulated to work exactly as it's working now, where it serves the interest of a handful of people in Westminster and a handful of people that are getting uber rich whilst everybody else is paying the price. We have massive poverty disparity. You think we've just we've come out of the pandemic a couple of years ago. We're in a cost of living crisis.

53The top 1 % have become richer than they've ever been. And yet the bottom 80 % of the country is getting poorer with every passing month. We are just not addressing the issues. Healthcare spending, the National Health Service in its worst state ever, yet we're given how many billions every year to fight what is essentially the Vietnam of our era that's taking place between Russia and Ukraine at the moment. That is a war that's not going to end unless somebody steps in and forces them to end it. We're spending billions on ridiculous green energy projects and climate change alarmist propaganda and nonsense that is devastating this country when we could be using that money to spend on those that need it the most, improving health care, improving education, fixing our welfare state, fixing our immigration problems.

50So because I talk about all of these things, and of course I wade into the territory of criticizing radical fundamentalist Islam, and I'm a racist and I'm far right and I'm Islamophobic and transphobic and homophobic and everybody other phobic under the sun. And everybody's mistaking me because I joke all the time. I hate everybody equally. It solves all the problems and I'm going to give me all the labels you want. You're just blanket phobic. Yeah, exactly. And even when I make that joke, the number of people that think I'm deadly serious, because I can't believe you just said that. Like, you know, at what point did this entire country of its sense of humor amputate?

27Oh, a long time ago now. I can't remember the last time you could speak freely, have a joke and not have to self-censor. I mean, you and me don't buy into that fucking nonsense, but a lot of people do. even people I'm not going to name names but even people that I socialise with or I'm related to in the confinement of their own home or a space that we've hired out even around the table now people are censoring themselves and I'm saying have we really come to this where you're holding back things you say in the company of people that you've known for fucking decades snap out of that bullshit that's how contagious it is the woke mind virus is so contagious it's crept into the household Imagine that, arguing with your wife over things you used to speak freely about 10 years previous.

10We had it in my own family. My brother and I had a disagreement because I spoke at the rally on the 13th of September last year. Unite the Kingdom. Yeah. And you spoke very well, sir. Thank you very much. He sent me a really horrible text message and I chose to ignore it because I figured it was far better to save the relationship between my brother and I than to get into the politics of who was there, what they said. The problem is this. A lot of people don't like what I do and don't like what I say because I refuse to sugarcoat anything. But I don't sugarcoat crap because my name is Willy Wonka.

45But we've got to this point where everybody's afraid of their own shadow. They're afraid to speak. They're afraid to think now. We've got a government that have instituted laws for thought policing. We're moving towards a complete police state. And we've got a home secretary that over the weekend has said she wants, what did she call it, a panopticon or something. They want an absolute bulletproof police state. I'm 100 % certain that's why the prime minister has gone to China to go and see how they're doing it over there and controlling everybody. Because I can't see how this Labour government is not trying to move us in that direction.

25Everything is about control. Everything is about restricting your movements. Today, when I was driving down to come here to be with you, the town that I live in, I've just found out today, the town I live in is earmarked by the Welsh government to be one of the first three 15-minute cities. Nobody, even if you voted for Labour, nobody voted for that. Nobody's voted for a government to take away our freedoms, to take away our liberties, because they owe allegiance to some moron in Davos or wherever it is. We're living in this globalist age. And until people start waking up to the reality of what is going on, until people start listening to voices like yourself, like Tommy, like others that are like John the Baptist, voices that are crying alone in the wilderness of what is really taking place, see the world for what it's become.

Enough is enough. future generations, lives, freedoms, independence, and liberty depend on it. Now, as a man of God, obviously you're supposed to be forgiving, accepting of everyone, even sinners and people that cross the line. What about people that cross the border?

41Now, what's your take as a man of God on the invasion of the country? I mean, I dare say you blame the government, not the actual opportunists that are doing it, but would you still happily send them back? There's a blame to be shared by everybody involved that is facilitating it. You can't just label it on one piece. We have gangs. Keir Starmer said he was going to smash the gangs. He's done well there. They got bigger since he became prime minister. They're to blame because they're charging people ridiculous amounts of money and enslaving them into debt for years and years to get across the border illegally.

17We have a system that's completely failed. That's the fault of Blair's labor. Cameron's Tories, Theresa May's Tories, Boris Johnson's Tories, Rishi Sunak's Tories, Naoki Estama's Labour. The church has long had a policy that is devolved from the Catholic Church. It's called Catholic social teaching. I believe immigration is an essential part of our life. My wife is from South Africa, came here legally, settled. You know, her two children came with her. There is an essential part of immigration that makes our culture great, that makes our country great. But we can only have immigration in the UK so long as it is economically feasible and not to the detriment of our own citizenry.

10At the moment, we have an immigration system that because we have a former human rights lawyer who's a prime minister and an entire woke system that thinks everybody should come flooding in. The Church of England is a great example of that. They've long advocated for an open borders policy without actually saying we want an open borders policy. But the things they say on immigration prove that. We can only take in a certain amount of immigrants every year. We're an island state. And we're growing rapidly to the point that we probably won't be able to manage much more population growth than where we're at.

49When you look at official statistics, they say we're about 62, 67 million people. And yet there's a report out that says that we're processing human waste as if we were a population of about 90 million people. So clearly the ONS statistics and government figures are most likely off. You can't just have an endless flow of people coming into the country. So we have to prioritize our citizenry, those that are resident here, born here, raised here, or have come here legally at some point in the past. And wherever feasible and within good conscience, we make efforts to help strangers that are fleeing genuinely war-torn areas and claiming asylum, not coming here because they want to get on a benefit system and become economic migrants.

37There is a fine line between being hospitable, being welcoming, being charitable, as the Bible teaches us, and the point where you cross that and your own people, your own citizens are now affected by that. And we as Ignatian crossed that line many, many years ago. Who's pulling the strings in the church? Because the Church of England should be the Church of England. Christianity is our traditional faith and has been for as long as I can remember. But most people that are coming into the country, legally and illegally, are currently predominantly from Islamic countries. I'm confused as to why the Church of England would want an invasion of individuals that subscribe to a completely different faith system.

31Surely they must be able to see what's going to happen down the line if that keeps on happening. Suicide empathy or just purposeful? No, I think part of it is just sheer ignorance. Willful or unwilling ignorance, but just absolute sheer ignorance that, well, they're not going to do what we see them doing in the Middle East, for example. They're going to come here and they're going to become an asset to the United Kingdom. They're not going to do what they do in Afghanistan or Syria or Iraq or Iran or other countries that have been affected by this. And it is just this willful ignorance and blind-eyed stupidity towards a faith whose core tenets are the eradication of every society they go into, the establishment of a global caliphate, that Sharia law would govern all societies.

27And for those that don't actually convert, it's you pay the jizra until such point as you're no longer necessary or you can't afford to pay the jizra, and then you should be executed. Those are not my words. That's the words of the Quran. That's the fundamental text of the Islamic faith. The church, and same with the state, they're so concerned about public image and being called racist and being called hurty words and names that they will forsake truth and forsake moral responsibility to appease an ever-growing public. We've had how many churches have opened their doors? Church of England churches, Church in Wales churches, same in Scotland, that have opened their doors to allow Islamic prayer.

14I defy you to name one mosque that's allowed a Christian to go in there and preach because I don't know one. And churches being converted to mosques, if you'd have said that to me 20 years ago, I would have said, well, that's never going to happen as if it is actually happening. Yeah, because unfortunately you have sections of the Church of England that put clauses in buildings when they've disposed that they can't be used as a Christian place of worship. Forgive me. So what happens? Islamic centers are opened in them because they're sold to whoever has got the highest amount of money to buy it.

48You know, this is to me the modern day 30 pieces of silver of Judas. It's, you know, I'll sell my soul to the one who will betray Christ. And that's exactly what the upper echelons of the Church of England and the Church in Wales and many other bodies are doing right now. They are lit to me, how I interpret it, because everything is my opinion. I think they're selling their spiritual soul for the most amount of money and social appeasement. That's so sad because that has such a ripple effect. spills as far and wide as the eye can see into our homes. Yeah. So because of the things that you say and your opinions, is there a link to the attempted murder that you spoke of?

35Well, I was speaking in Swansea when it happened. Now, this was a few months after my first appearance on the United Kingdom stage on the 27th of July in 2024, which was completely unplanned, unscripted. I think nobody was more surprised by what came out of my mouth than I was on that day, because I had to watch somebody's phone to find out what I'd said. And then I'd had a couple of incidents after that. I had a couple of threats from governmental bodies, and the Charities Commission came after me quite heavily as well. I'm still fighting them, because they're trying to bar me from ever being able to be a trustee of a charity, despite the fact I did nothing wrong and no regulatory action was ever taken against me.

22And then in the February of 2025, I was speaking at an event the day after Valentine's Day in Swansea for the Voice of Wales boys. And around 2.30 in the afternoon, about maybe about 45 minutes after I've spoken, I had this overwhelming sense in my spirit I needed to leave. and I couldn't put it into words. So I said to the Voice of Wales, boys, listen, forgive me. I know I was going to stay for the day and maybe go get a bite to eat afterwards, but I can't explain to you why I need to leave. I just know I've got to leave. Now, I'm a man that is led by the Spirit of God and I know that sense of urgency in my spirit when it happens.

02So I went and got in the car and as I was driving home, the back wheel come off, at great knots of speed. And the police came to see if I was all right and stopped people plowing into the back of the car where I stopped. And during that, and the recovery truck trying to get the car off the verge, they discovered that seven of the 13 wheel nuts had been removed. Well, they were there 48 hours before because the car had just been MOT'd. You know, one wheel nut missing for an MOT is an MOT failure. So there's no way they weren't not present. And the only thing that I had done was that political event in Swansea where there were quite a large number of stand-up to racism, hope not hate, protesters.

49Considering that we were right outside a leisure centre with an awful lot of families and kids there, the language that they were shouting as they protest was absolutely repugnant. No care or concern for the fact you've got young kids coming in and out whilst they're effing and blinding and calling everybody Nazi scum and, you know, the normal monikers they give us even when we do the UTK rallies. So I can only put it down to that. The left in Swansea are very aggressive. And I didn't have the first idea until I was told and then looked into it and I thought, wow, they really are aggressive left there.

24Oh, they need psychiatric help, in my opinion. Or they need locking up. They are beyond. And I don't know why the left in Wales are so aggressive. They will just turn violent that quick. Was there an investigation into the removal of the walnuts? Yeah, on and off. And I waited for about 12 or 14 weeks to find out, you know, were they looking, because they were looking at, had somebody attempted to murder me. There were various bodies involved in that. and there was a third party to it because the vehicle was actually a gift to me. So at one point it was being investigated, was that person the target?

05But it was determined that it couldn't possibly be because the man wasn't even in the country at the time and certainly not when the vehicle was given to me. So it was a really unnerving experience. The point that I still check the wheels when I get in the car and periodically people think I'm nuts because I go back a couple of times to check is the car locked or checking to see if somebody's played with the boot or if anything looks off when I get back to the car. I'm nervous and that wouldn't be the case had I not had this incident in February of 25. Thank God they couldn't get the locking wheel nut off because that was the only thing that stopped the car from losing its wheel completely and most likely tipping over, which probably would have been the end of me.

54But by God's grace, I was spared by that. And what other backlash have you received because of your political views and, I suppose, the association with Tommy Robinson? Because you would think that the church would be pro-Tommy's message. You'd hope so. Clearly, as we've seen in the run-up to the events of Christmas and the backlash after September last year, the church is so far away from Tommy's position. which the irony is, having spoken to Tommy at length about his politics, when you really get to know them, they're quite centrist, not far right at all. It's, you know, it's the perception of the fact that he's exposed all of this Muslim grooming gang situation and, you know, presses the government to do something about that, that he's racist, he's far right, all of that lot.

38When I actually stood and talked with Tommy, I was absolutely blown away that, well, hang on, his politics are really centrist. My being there, when the first rally happened, I expected there to be a little pushback. I didn't expect the Charities Commission to come after me, but that was instigated by hope, not hate, because I've got screenshots from a WhatsApp group where they were telling people what to write to the Charities Commission. Since then, though, the backlash has been horrendous. Now, I'm non-stipendery. I don't get paid by the church. I've never had a salary from the church. and I've been doing this for a few decades now.

17So I've always worked alongside either working a job or running a business or whatever. The immediate knock-on effect was I've lost all of my income. I haven't actually earned income since end of August last year, 2024, by 2025, right? It cost me friendships that I've had for 20, 25 years. It cost me tension in my family over my standpoint. It's affected every aspect of my life. And yet I refuse to back down. And the only thing that I can say is my superiors, my archbishops, and the clergy in the Confessant Anglican Church that I'm a part of, they are the most supportive that you could ever hope for and are behind me 100%.

07And then twice, because of the interactions with the media, I've actually said to my archbishop, if you want me to back off or you want me to resign, just say the word and it's done. Because I don't want to do anything that embarrasses the church or brings the confessant Anglican church into disrepute. And by God's grace, he has been so supportive of what we're doing. But, you know, people don't realize that. They don't know the knock-on effects it's had on me, the stress that I've been under as a result of it. You know, I'm 50 this year. It's not nice at 50 to have to think about where do I start all over again and can I provide for my wife.

47There was a point towards the end of last year because my wife has a job because of where she works. I won't say what she does because it's a highly lefty environment. and I had to say to her the one day, look, I know you get paid for your job. It's not a lot of money, but could you do something for me? She said, yeah. I said, I've got no money whatsoever. Can you just make sure that you've got enough food for yourself? You don't have to worry about me. And for like a month and a half, I lived on porridge and beans on toast because I just couldn't afford to go buy groceries. You know, I got months behind with the mortgage, which by God's grace, we've managed to catch up.

25When they're attacking you, they don't think about that. They don't think about the effect it's going to have on you like that. For those of us... Well, maybe they do. Well, maybe they do. Maybe they want to see you absolutely destroyed and destitute. Anything to keep silent. But for those of us on the right, we don't fight like that. Yeah, no. We don't go out to destroy other people's lives. And the irony is, even when the media attacks come, all it did was amplify my message. Because Sky News made me a household name overnight. Very few people knew who I was until that point, other than people in the UTK movement that had seen me on the rally and people that watch the speeches online.

59Sky News put me in everybody's household from that day to this. We keep getting people inquiring about, oh, can I speak to Bishop Kuyger? I want to be part of the Confessant Anglican Church. The last 24 hours, we've had three churches in the United Kingdom now approach us with a view to leaving the Anglican denomination they're in and coming into the Confessant Anglican Church. So the more they push and the more they try and destroy, yes, it affects me personally. Yes, it takes its toll on me, but I'm a big guy. I got broad shoulders. I can handle it. Wayfair, every style, every home. They're tremendous shoulders. What ideological poisons has the church been infiltrated by? Because for this to be happening, there must be a cancer spreading through the church. Well, there is. When you look at the Church of England as a great example, Church of Wales was disestablished end of the 19th century. But they have the same problem, supercharged on steroids, ironically, in the church in Wales.

57They're years ahead of the Church of England in their woke ideology. 1969, the Church of England has a shift in the way it's governed. And the General Synod becomes the governing body, not the bishops anymore. And the General Synod ends up infested with lefties and liberals and goodness knows what. So they're the ones driving the agenda of the church at the moment, which is why you've got all the trans issues, all of the gay rights issues, the same-sex marriage, all of the push for female priests and female bishops, which are 35 years old now. 2 ,000 years the church has been in existence, but suddenly after 1 ,965 years we've made a mistake and we need to ordain females.

43And ever since then there's been a rapid decline in the number of men coming forward for ordination because they just don't agree with female priests and female bishops and the whole woke agenda that is being pushed. You've got massive pushes on feminism. This week, we have a new Archbishop of Canterbury, first female Archbishop of Canterbury. What's the first thing on her agenda? She's going to stamp out misogyny in the church. Not she's going to preach the gospel, not she's going to get the church back to its moral compass, not we've got to look at, you know, church parishes are declining in size and we're having to sell off buildings.

22We're going to spend£100 million on reparations for slavery and we're going to root out misogyny in the church. If that's not a political agenda, I don't know what is. Yeah, there's a noticeable decline of belief. Do you think that's because people have lost their faith or people have lost respect for the church? I think some of it is down to a loss of faith. We have a rapidly going secularist society, and we cannot be ignorant to that. The church has failed in her responsibility to keep the gospel at the heart of society because it's been too busy pushing a political agenda. And that then is the abandoning of traditional doctrine and sound truth where we're rewriting scripture and we're rewriting canon law so that we can fit an ideological perspective.

12Well, any time you've got to do that, guess which one's wrong? And it's not the book that's 2 ,000 years old. It's your ideology. And then, for some strange reason, the Church of England has decided to push this predominantly political agenda. And that is largely because in 1969, with that new bill that gave the General Synod power, the state had a controlling say in what is doctrine and what is the teaching of the church. And that should never have happened. It seems like the church has been castrated, even though you refer to the church as a her. What does the church need to do to restore its testicles?

48It needs to separate from the government. I'm not talking about disestablishment, because if we disestablish the Church of England, we are no longer constitutionally a Christian country. But the governance of the church needs to be returned to the bishops, who are supposed to be the guardians and protectors of the church. And in doing so, we need to go back to a position where doctrine and discipline and order is dealt with in the way that it was prior to the 1969 Act. Until we see that happen, the church is always going to be political because government has a say in how the church is run. You tell me in any other country what state tells the church what their doctrine is other than communist China.

33It doesn't happen. So we have that problem and the church has lost its teeth and has kowtowed to allow that for social placement, for financial assistance from the government, you know, for maintaining the position of the Lord spiritual in the House of Lords. Where's the testicular fortitude gone? That's what I want to know. and we're in the mess we are today because we have gutless, teethless, blind people running the church that are too busy pushing politics instead of pushing prayer and faith. And if Islam continues to grow, which it is, homegrown Islamists, not that every Muslim is an Islamist, but nonetheless Islam is Islam and it's grown at an absolute rate of knots and it's very muscular, very dominant, You can certainly see why men that are lost are drawn to Islam.

34But could you see a civil war breaking out if this continues at the rate it's going? Well, I've been warning people for the last three years that we are very much heading towards a sectarian civil war. And if this country doesn't do something about it, we have hundreds of thousands of men in this country already that are fully prepared to go to war under jihad to conquer this country. And you can sit back and go, they'll never do that all you want until it happens to you. And to me, the general public, the British public need to wake up and realize. Cardinal Serra, Roman Catholic Cardinal said, the West needs to wake up and realize the enemy is not at the gate.

20The enemy's living in the city already. And this is a problem that we're facing. And all the time, we're just turning a blind eye to it. Yeah, what do Christians need to do to become more militant? There's so much of this whole thing about, well, we're gentle Jesus, meek and mild, like we used to sing in the songs when we were children in primary school. And, you know, love thy neighbor and live in peace. And then for a while, we had these WWJD bangles. I don't know if you've ever saw it, what would Jesus do? Well, Jesus looks at what the money changes and the priest did to his father's house, the temple.

00He goes away and he fashions a whip. Then he comes back and he whips the living daylight out of him and he turns the tables over, drives them out and says, you've turned my father's house into a den of iniquity. This whole thing about gentle Jesus, meek and mild, that's the same Jesus we're talking about. Hmm. Jesus said in the Beatitudes, blessed are the meek. Meek is humility. It's not weakness. And the church has portrayed this meekness to be weakness. We've got to be soft. We've got to be, you know, love everybody, be good to everybody, live your best life and all of this kind of nonsense like some spiritual motivational speaker.

42The reality is the scriptures don't show that at all. Scripture shows that our faith is a strong faith. Paul the Apostle teaches us to dress for war, tells us the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but they are mighty to the pulling down of strongholds. Speaking of spiritual things, Ephesians chapter 6 in the Bible, we're taught as believers to put on the full armor of God, to dress for a battle. Not that we need to go to battle but we need to recognize that we're fighting spiritual forces that are controlling temporal forces in this country and around the world and we need to wake up to what is actually going on and stop thinking that it's all about just be good to each other oh let me love you because you're my brother when the moment i turned my back you'd stab me as soon as look at me so the fact that you want Christianity to be more muscular, as Bob a speaker's corner says, and you want its testicular fortitude restored, that's why you're considered extreme.

48So I want to know how on earth can somebody that promotes Jesus ever be extreme unless you're promoting violence, which you're not? And what is the role of a bishop? So we'll answer the first question, How can I be extreme? The answer is easy. They redefine extremism to fit a narrative. So because I speak truth to power, because I proclaim the truth of the gospel, because I say Islam is the religion of a false god, that its leader is not who he says he was, that makes me extreme. because I'm going against the mainstream narrative that's being portrayed. Islam is our friend. Not when you've got 25 % of it that's fundamentalist and wants to see the eradication of every part of our way of life.

41To put that into perspective, if the statistics are true, because I know there's a lot of controversy about whether it's this or not, if it's 25 % of Muslim believers are looking for that 7th century Islamic caliphate kind of religion, There's 500 million people worldwide. There's 700 ,000 men in the UK alone. That's eight times larger than our entire armed forces, to put it into perspective, that are in the UK that would want to see the UK turned into a caliphate. So because I say these things, I'm extreme. But that's because the left have moved so far to the left and redefined the boundaries is that anything that is slightly right of them is now far right.

27I can wear that badge. It's not a problem to me. The role of a bishop is simple. I am supposed to be the chief servant of the people, which is what I try to be at all times. But I am responsible for the proclamation of the gospel, for bringing sound doctrine, for rebuking error and false teaching and leading people by my example. And that, you know, there's more to being a bishop than that, but that is, for me, the nuts and bolts of who I am supposed to be in this office. That is something I surrender myself to every day. And what power does a bishop have? None. We're not this, you know, we're not like a dictatorship.

09But a bishop's more senior than a priest. So we're the highest office that we can get except for an archbishop, which is, you know, primus inter pares is the Latin term, first amongst equals. The bishops were responsible for the governance of the church until it was all changed by the state. So for me as a bishop, though, my number one responsibility is to be the chief servant of the people that I have been given a care over in my diocese. Now, my diocese is vast because it covers the whole of the United Kingdom because it's a missionary diocese. So I try my best at all times to be a servant of those people.

50So I'm not like those bishops that wrote that letter to the newspapers in September condemning Tommy, attacking me, condemning those that displayed the cross so proudly and co-opting the cross and making it political. Nobody made it political until they wrote to the press. They did the very thing they accused us of doing in the United Kingdom movement. But I'm not pontificating from some ivory tower like they did. Not one of the Anglican bishops and almost all of the clergy that signed that letter, not one of them was on the streets that day. Not one of them came down to Whitehall or the surrounding streets to talk to anybody in that crowd to find out why do you believe what you believe?

36Why are you supporting the things that you're supporting? They made a judgment based on how they think people act. That's not the role of a bishop. I get into the streets. I talk to people. You and I have been at the same events. There are moments when I'm backstage waiting to do what I've got to do. After that, I'm trying to talk to as many people as I can. My first time at the United Kingdom rally, my second time at the United Kingdom rally, I spent more time talking and praying with people than ever I did on the stage making a speech. Do you feel an enormous amount of pressure as bishop when you consider that the church is crumbling?

15Does it affect you? It breaks my heart.

23I struggle to see the church the way it's become. And you can see it breaks my heart that we have departed so far from truth and we have forsaken the Lord that we claim to love. That's why I fight the way that I do. That's why I'm...

46I won't let the church go down. Not like this. I'll fight with my last breath if I've got to. Even if the church are kind of taking themselves down? How do you prop up something that's dragging themselves down? The church is not its leaders. The church is the people. Okay. And I will not forsake them for the sake of political ideology. You won't let the people down? No. That's very noble. Because I have not forgotten that above all else, I am but a servant of the people. I have a philosophy in life. You almost got me crying. I have a philosophy in life. It's adapted from an old Chinese proverb.

27And the proverb says, a hand points to the sun, S-U-N, Chinese proverb. I adopted it, the son of God, S-O-N. A wise man looks at the sun and a fool looks at the finger. I am nothing more than a finger that points to Christ. And I will never forget that. Well, to me, you're a lot more than a finger. You're a broad set of shoulders too. Talking about people not giving up on people, the family unit, again, that's another crumbling society. Couples are splitting up left, right and centre. Families are deteriorating. I see it amongst my own. What advice would you give to couples that are struggling, Western couples that are considering throwing in the towel?

10What would your advice be to them? You must repair a lot of relationships within the church. Talk. Look, most people give up because they stop communicating. They stop talking to each other. They stop telling each other. We focus so much on the negatives in life. If we looked at the things that united us as husband and wife and focus on those, focus on the good aspects, I can guarantee it doesn't take long for the bad aspects to become very, very small in the rearview mirror. but society doesn't want that we thrive on society is built on negative energy you know you you look at what's on the tv you look at everybody's talking about well you know if you've got a marriage problem you don't need another spouse what you need is wisdom to work with the one that you've got if you've got a financial problem you don't need it to to to you know suddenly come into millions of pounds.

10You need wisdom to manage what you've got to increase it. And this is the thing. Society has been cultivated to the easiest possible solution to any problem. But marriage is a daily commitment. It is something that we have to work at every single day, just like I have to work at my relationship with Christ every day. I didn't wake up yesterday and go, I'm a Christian. and know everything there is to know. I've been following Christ for 34 years in personal relationship. I was growing up in the church before that, but never had this encounter that I had 34 years ago. And that grows every day. Give me a brief bit on your background and how you actually found God.

52That'll be interesting. I grew up high church Anglican. So my return to Anglicanism last year was almost like a full circle. And what is that? What, high church Anglican? Yeah. That's an awful lot like the Roman Catholic Church, as you see it, except they don't submit to the Bishop of Rome. They follow the Book of Common Prayer. But it's pretty much the same smells on the bells, as we say. So I grew up high church Anglican, the real traditional conservative Anglicans. And at 14, my mother's best friend, who was a Roman Catholic, asked her to go to an evangelical church because her kids had started going and they'd stopped going to mass.

30Sacrilege to a Catholic. And we went, and it was an evangelical church. And I'd never been in a church like it. They had a band. They had a choir. That would do it. Right? And I'm sitting there. Now, my mother's on the front row. There's 900 people in this church. This is early 90s. I'd never seen anything like it. I had not been in a cathedral that had been that full. And they can see a couple of thousand. And the preacher preached a message on the blood covenant. and he talked about how God cut a covenant with Abraham and then he cuts a covenant with all of mankind through Christ at the cross of Calvary.

07Shows you how impactful it was that I still remember what he was talking about. And then he made an appeal. If you want to know Christ, I want to shake your hand, I want to welcome you to the family. I have no idea when I put my hand up to acknowledge it, no idea of how I even got out of my seat and walked from the very back row of the church where I was sitting and stood down in the front. The only thing I remember at that point He was looking at the ground when he said, let's pray, because I don't close my eyes to pray. And that served me well, because three times I've been attacked when I've been praying.

39And I stood there thinking, good Lord, the woman next to me has got the same shoes as my mother. And there it was. My mother and I made a commitment to Christ on the same night. Within six months, I was doing non-vocational ministry. Within a couple of years, I was doing vocational ministry. and I went on to become a bishop of, what, 7 ,000 churches in nine different countries at one point. And then in November 23, I just knew that I felt the Spirit of God was calling me back to the Anglican Church and I was to start getting myself ready because we were in for the fight of our lives for the soul of this nation.

17And July 24, that kicked off with that speech I gave at the United Kingdom rally and July 25, I entered the Confessing Anglican Church as the missionary bishop here in the UK. We've established that Britain's broken from top to bottom. Do you think the solution is through faith, politics, or culture? I think it's all three, and all three have to be intrinsically linked.

42Our faith defines our culture, and our culture defines our politics. and in the absence of faith, we have a situation like we have now. There is not a vision for a great Britain. And I think that stems all the way back to the Second World War. You know, we had two world wars inside of 30 years. The Second World War, everybody was tired. Everybody was suffering loss. There wasn't a family in the UK that wasn't touched by that. And Britain lost its vision. And from that day to this, I don't think we have a vision of what Great Britain should look like for the modern era. Right now, we've got a prime minister who's governing this country with no vision for what Britain should be and how we should be.

28So until we get that vision and it becomes a political thing, it becomes a cultural thing, and it is driven by our faith in two things, our faith in God and our faith in each other. because that's lacking immensely in this day and age. Like lost society. Yeah, people have lost faith in each other. I live in a wonderful part of the country. It's too far from everywhere for traveling with what I do, but I know every single person that lives in my street. I've got good relationships with every single one of them. One of my neighbors and I, we regularly go either down the road to a coffee shop or there's another little restaurant we go down for breakfast.

09us, my next door neighbor and I, we got a great friendship, right? You tell me how many people live in Britain today that can say that. 30, 40 years ago, almost everybody in the country could say that. We've lost our vision of what it means to be British, of what it means to be Great Britain, of what it means to trust and to care about each other, because the driving force behind that in Britain was our Christian faith. And the moment the state started to remove faith from society, society in the UK has crumbled. We've got to get those three back. Yeah, how do you forge that throuple? That's a tough one to get all three in line.

49I think it's happening right now. Everybody's talking about the quiet revival that's going on. We had it December last year with the Carroll concert in Whitehall. The Guardian this week have contacted me to do an interview on the quiet revival. People were talking about it back in September when they realised what an absolute cock-up they made of attacking what took place on the 13th of September. And now they talk about the quiet revival. When people's faith is restored in God, we start to trust each other. We start to believe in each other because that's what scripture commands us to do. You know, love your neighbor as yourself.

26So when we do that, then we find a moral compass in it. And then we don't let politicians get away with the shenanigans they're playing. and we don't let politicians put their interests above what is in the national interest. And we stand as a united people and a government must remember at that point that they serve the people that have elected them to parliament. It is a representative parliament after all. When we start getting those first two back, the political whole system shifts because ordinary people go, hang on, I'm fed up of these professional politicians in Westminster. I'm going to stand for parliament myself.

12And suddenly we've got real politicians, ordinary men and women from all across Great Britain that say, whether it's five years, ten years, or the rest of my life, I'm going to act for the best interest of what's in the best interest of the constituency and the people around me rather than some person sitting in some office in Davos in Switzerland or Brussels or Strasbourg or pushing some globalist agenda. We've lost all of that lot. And what killed it was when they started pouring ridiculous amounts of money into politics in the UK because it was a time that in yours lifetime and mine where county councillors used to be a county councillor to serve their ward.

59Now they get paid for it. So guess what? Now most politicians going into the council see it as a step in stone to parliament. Now we have this profession, a whole political class that never existed because now it's a career progression. It's not I'm doing this to serve the bettering of my country. I will say this, right? 650 MPs in Westminster. I think there's only one in there that is genuinely there for the good of the people that elected him to be there. Only one. That's a damning indictment. But if we could get 650 people that believed in each other, that believed in this country, that have a vision like I talked about.

44my brother we will see this country be the great britain that history has talked about and redefine it for the modern age and what do you think your role will be in this what was your what do you feel like your purpose in life is as an individual to point people to the one who gives that vision i'm nothing i'm just a big mouth that can give a good speech that you can but i'm not the one that gives the vision he is so all i'm trying to do is get people to understand who he is and what he can do in their lives because of what I know he's done for me. I, there was a point in my life, not too many years ago, where everything was hopeless, where I was just done.

24I, you know, if I could have checked out, I would have. I just didn't have the guts to. And a radical encounter with Christ changed my whole perception. It restored faith in me and it restored faith in other people. And I stood in Trafalgar Square on the 27th of July. I had a conversation with Tommy Robinson around 11.30 in the morning. We talked about the Paris Olympics, talked about a few other things. And in that moment, I realized, firstly, that I owed him a huge apology because I had prejudged him based on what the media had said about him. Never talked to the man until that day. But I also realized he's just trying to give people a vision for what this country could be.

14We need more men and women to stand up like that. Not less, not shy away from it. Open your mouth. Say what needs to be said. When I get up and pray at the events, I'm not praying because I want everybody to go, hey, look, Bishop Cuy is praying. I'm praying because I want you to hear the words of God that inspire the vision. The Bible says where there's no hope, there's no vision. Where there's no vision, the people perish. We live in a hopeless society that has no vision. Guess what? This country is perishing. So we have to restore hope and we have to restore vision. And I think the United Kingdom rally, the rallies that we do, that I've been blessed to be a part of, I say, like I actually am involved in anything other than opening my mouth on the day.

59But these rallies are restoring hope and they're restoring vision. and the mainstream media and the political class, they despise it because they realize the hope that's returning is a hope in God and a hope in each other. And the vision that's being birthed out of it is for what Great Britain could be when we eliminate all of the nonsense that is trying to stop it from being the Great Britain it once was. Winston Churchill said it, the further backwards you look, the further forward you can see. And we need to start looking back at Great Britain and how she was. We've had some mistakes in our history, but we led the way for the rest of the world of not only admitting those mistakes, but rectifying them.

47You know, people talk about reparations for slavery. Britain was paying reparations for slavery until 2015. We only just paid that off from ending the global slave trade how many hundreds of years ago nearly 200 years ago now this is a great nation with a great people when we start believing in ourselves again you tell that to david lammy oh don't give me five minutes with him as a bishop what would you do i will i'll introduce him to my savior one way or the other you're gonna meet your maker lammy Before I ask you your final question, where can people find you? What's your preferable social media platform?

26So I tend to go on YouTube and X. They're my predominant too. I'm on almost every social media platform. It's just at Bishop Dewar. Every time there's a new social media platform on, I got a plan. I just go in, get the name, make sure nobody else can get it. I might never use it, but I just make sure that at Bishop Dewar is secured. So I'm at Bishop Dewar on everything. Okay. I will put all your links in our description. So the final question really is what would your final message be to the masses? To anyone that's listening or watching, what would your message to them be if they're struggling?

59Because a lot of people are. I check my DMs regularly. Me too. I get a lot of them every week. My message would be the same as it's always been. There is one who can turn your life around. There is one who can change everything about it. and in that moment of hopelessness, in that moment of despair, he is the answer to all problems. I stood in a kitchen once with a knife to my wrist, desperate to end it. And in that moment, I felt a love like I've never known. And in that moment, I made the ultimate commitment because I simply said, Lord, I give you my life. And I have never regretted that. So my final words to anybody were, If you're struggling, if you're going through it, if you, darkness, despair, no matter what it is, and you don't know where to turn, look up.

53Think of the man that hung on that cross, that paid the ultimate price and simply say, Lord, I give you my life. And what would you say if there's any priests or vicars watching this and they secretly look at choir boys' bottoms, what would you say to them? I would quite simply say you have let Satan into your heart, just as Judas did. And you better pray the police catch you before I do. That is a good answer. And me. Keep your fucking eyes off. Hit the like and subscribe button so we can keep bringing you these conversations. And follow Bishop Kai if you want to follow a man that subscribes to Christianity because I believe Britain is in desperate need of men like you.

41And I hope you never return to a dark place and stare at a knife hovering over your wrist again. May... I have way too much to live for. May the Lord be with you, sir. And also with you, my brother. Good elf, man. And you. Cheers, mate.
