In short
Will and James Marriott (and their friends/teams) talk about their relationship and on-camera chemistry, starting a podcast, and James’s dating life; then they discuss YouTuber products (a blind ranking), YouTuber “lost luggage”/storage-style videos (including weird finds and returning items), and YouTube groups (why some groups work and others don’t).
Guests
James Marriott is a YouTuber/creator who collaborates with Will; he’s described as having a strong fanbase and being part of “Chippo/Chip” and “T-Moo”-style crossover jokes. Will is the other host/creator (also a musician; he recently attended an Oasis show and had chart success). “Chip” appears as a recurring friend/participant in the conversation.
Key claims
- Their podcast/relationship jokes have led people to believe they’re “something going on,” especially after certain videos and increased Twitter/FYP exposure.
- James’s “number one album” moment involved recording interviews before results were confirmed; they make artists record multiple versions (number one and top 10).
- Their YouTuber product blind ranking ends with “Rods” at #1, after Prime, Nico’s Shades, and No Two Ways.
Notable examples
- “Chip Dookie so bad” hashtag in Chippo descriptions (team-written joke).
- Lost luggage finds: a USB stick with explicit photos and weed; a case with a strong vomit smell; returning a suitcase to someone in LA that contained different contents than expected; a Millwall boardroom storage box with a call sheet signed for the first Harry Potter film; Pele’s first World Cup medal valued far higher than initially guessed.

0:45Cal:I'm fucking out. I used to pray for times. I'm out. Yeah, but you've got to respect the audience of this one. I've been waiting for this. You've got to understand this audience ain't your audience problem. Nah, what's up, new people?
0:56Chip:I have all hair colors All body types Yo what's your favorite month? June! June! We love
1:03Cal:Pride month Pride month We've been there We've been doing that Look at that You see that Oh that's rainbow On a rainbow shit We did that for your lot Love that Yeah this is a big crossover for me I thought maybe the only time You used me Would be like If I had a wedding or something No I'm so excited Like it feels like two separate I can't lie though I see James every day
1:29Cal:just strolling about
1:31Chip:now I can't lie I was so excited to meet James well I met him before have I met you before? we've met each other before we've never really spoken that much exactly but I feel like I've met you because I watch a lot of the videos I'm such a big fan yeah I am I feel like if I dab my hair blue I'm in I'm in on that shit you're a bit of a fan of them too right? my team are yeah you could Have you seen the Chippo YT channel? They've got a good bin. They've got a bad bin. Yeah, but it is. It's the whole meta they've nabbed. Oh, wait. Oh, my God. But we've done it. We've done it in like. They've even got the same fucking thumbnail designer.
2:13He went and searched them out. Look at it, man. It's the exact same thing. Oh, it's brilliant. But you just look a little bit browner on these ones.
2:22Cal:It's a disgrace. You know what? You're Arthur. James. You haven't found your like consistent guest yet. No, there is no consistent guest really. I don't like any of them enough. All right. Which one does the best? Just George do the best. The best one has been the latest Sabina one. Where is it? That's a Cypriot. May I will. Oh God. But like you're locked off, right? Yeah. We get so many comments like fucking Will and James from T-Moo and stuff like that. And I like, I pin them and stuff, put them to the top. I'm sorry. Could we just go back on that please, Stanley? could you just go on the most recent video please there's just the hashtag in the description that I just can we just zoom in zoom into this hashtag read it out for us Chip Dookie so bad food Geordie just gave me a cough now let me explain myself first of all it's my team they've gone rogue they just put that in there bro I think people would get fired over that yeah fellas probably would but you know I just was like you know what fucking fair play Dookie so bad,
3:24Chip:True Geordie just gave me a call. There's no way an employee is writing that.
3:28Cal:Because we're ranking fast spicy food, so they were making a joke about shit. I swear to God, I did not like that. You wrote that. I swear to God. All of the descriptions are not me. They know how to do it in my style, but I haven't done anything. Surely they're worried about getting shacked. Yeah. Or I don't know. They know I'll just delete it. I'll delete it. I didn't think that was too bad. I thought it was quite funny, so I was like, you know what, I'm going to keep it. I did debate over. I was like, do I keep this one? I was like, you know what? Yeah. I'm not going well. After you wrote it.
3:58Cal:I didn't write it. I know who's wrote that and I reckon it's Kian. Right. He's got a bit of, he's got a little bit of a meme where he is. Yeah. You have a nice background to be fair. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Copy that as well, Will. They just took hours and made it better. That's all they did. Yours is like one wall. Production thing. Yeah. That is a lovely set, isn't it, Will? It's disgraceful. Look at this. Well, pull your finger out. We had one thing. We had second channels, right? We had one thing that wasn't an arms race to make it the best thing ever. And he's just ruined it. He's took everything and just improved it.
4:29No, it's like us plus cold ones. It's got like the cold ones vibe. Yeah.
4:33Chip:Oh yeah. Oh yeah. It looks awfully, awfully similar to cold ones. That wasn't an inspiration, was it?
4:39Cal:It actually doesn't look like cold ones. You've told me you've talked everything about cold ones. No, it looks... I did not say that.
4:48Chip:it looks more like fellas if anything right i've got a question how did uh because you mentioned to him about how he doesn't have his consistent guests yet was there like a moment well where you were just saying i'm gonna block where they're like i need this it was it the views or what was probably the views i think yeah it was absolutely the views you go yeah well we could do this with this person but if i did it with james there's an extra 300k so you go yeah even to the point or if I post a solo video on that channel, everyone's disappointed. Like, probably rather a solo video from him on there.
5:17Yeah. There's still like a very, to this day, there's still like a great mix of comments of people that really don't like me on that channel. Yeah. Really? Yeah, yeah. Some good fairness against me.
5:27Chip:My favorite thing about the channel is how, like, just gay you guys get. Yeah. Do you think we get gay? No, because I see on, by the way, on Twitter, I get force fed this. Yeah. But it's obviously because I enjoy it. Yeah. It's an FYP. It's an FYP. But I read it and people are genuinely convinced you lot got something going on. It's ramped up in the last six months. It's because you started joking about it. I don't know. Yeah, it is. I don't know. I don't know if it's, do you remember the running video? Yep. I think I made that a little bit gay. Yeah. That was, that ended a little bit just too sweet and nice.
6:06Coffee with the power. Yeah. But you just love eye contact. Okay. With me. So my thing is I like, I need to make sure I have eye contact so I can focus on conversation. So on videos, when I'm kind of like feeling myself, like losing a bit of attention in a video, I really have to make sure I'm like, and so now there's like these fucking videos of just like, are that loving, like eye contact you make with people. And Will's just like making a joke and talking at the camera. And I'm just there going, but it's just so I remain fully locked in. But then at this point I'm like, well, if you don't play into it, that's even more gay.
6:40I think you are there's no way around this yeah we just got to get together really we've just got to we've just got to have to line it up as soon as you lean in more then it will just happen more
6:51Chip:yeah would you propose to me or would I propose to you well this is this was actually one of my questions who wears the pants in this relationship who's the top is the bottom wait that's a bit more intense actually what's the same yeah I think it's this dynamic there right yeah there is I'm sorry James wears the fucking pants do you think so the aura let's not talk about the shoes that's kind of
7:14Cal:they're newly in
7:15Chip:this is a new fashion statement it's a new thing he's trying to tell me these are popular now and because I literally saw a girl
7:26Cal:like wearing them yesterday like some deodora ones red ones those are like the Charles of the clear threes though yeah and I was like damn like you got heels on there's ones with heels okay
7:36Chip:okay understood as in you have them with you no oh you pointed over to your bag i don't actually have them i could pop them on um so yeah who who actually run the calls the shots then because i feel like will you you're just always begging for james to be in the video yeah so i think i probably need you more right i feel like i probably not like i'm not like i you know not in a game yeah i feel uh maybe i'll be an or well just i'll be no run the yeah yeah no i think i probably need for more from him so he probably has the leverage yeah yeah i know i know that i'll try and try and get paid that's good yeah well he paid with love you sure that you take all the all the money that you do make off these videos slash will and just music yeah that's been fucking bad no that we this is what we get paid with i guess yeah yeah but yeah are you still mucking about with us
8:32Chip:we're pointing at the rods uh coffee because i know my audio listeners but they're already typing
8:41Chip:but yeah your music stuff is absolutely banging and recently well i'll just say will went to go see oasis and you smashed oasis in the album chart there's like i think that's the way that there was kind of media that portrayed that it was just a re-release right so it was just an album that they released we don't care bro no there can't be doing that you beat them have that man i think they've had ever since ever since my week they have had a number one for that album now because of obviously the tour they've got going on at the moment but yeah they've had it loads of weeks and you said no i'm gonna stop that i'm gonna block that well the well like with the with the album charts there's kind of a thing of if you're a new artist or if you're releasing an album that week and you do a signing tour with it you have a decent chance basically and there was quite a few artists that released that week, but not many that were doing like full on like signing tours and everything.
9:29So the idea is like, once you hit a certain number, you can probably do it. Do you get like a cool trophy? Yeah. I got like a little like number one plaque.
9:41Chip:I think I know the one. I thought you only got that for singles. So it's kind of cool. You got a silver one for singles. And a gold one for albums. That's way cooler. So can you, can you speak about like the first time you held that? Wow. Oh, that's cool. this was a gig during the week so i hadn't even got it at this point but they want to post it as soon as it's announced so they do the interview they do the interview with you when you don't have it so they give you the award and they're like how does it feel for you to have a number one album and you just have to you have to lie and basically you're i've never been that nervous at an interview before because you just have to essentially go like yeah this feels amazing and everything in your brain is saying just don't say it otherwise it won't happen oh wait so sorry just to clarify you so when you took this photo and they do the interview you have no idea if you're actually number one or not you get number one on well you get the results on friday that was on tuesday that nah that's fine so what you're telling me is there is an archive of artists that have not got number one yes but there's loads of these videos there has to be a folder somewhere of our saying thanks for number one never got it well the thing is they make you record one with uh they make you do one with the number one and with a top 10 so you do the one they make you do the one with the number one first and they make you do it with the top 10 like just in case but yeah there will be an archive of um loads of artists that got like number two and number three because they do it they don't just do it with the person who they think is going to get number one they do it with uh with a couple more as well um well i mean that the game's the game at the end of the day like if you want it this is what you do that was terrifying wouldn't recommend it to anyone well congrats we got it yeah congratulations honestly that is that's so sick have there been any other uh i'm not i don't i feel like saying youtube but that's not really what it is but anyone in our space that has had a number one album jj's got one he has one yeah anybody else i don't i don't know exactly who's got one I might be missing people.
11:43Yeah. But I can't think. No one important. Well, no, there's like, there's a bunch of people that very, very genuinely could, but you just need to get the right week. Like if you drop in the week and then Taylor Swift's doing something or like the Rolling Stones release an album, you're just a bit. Or Sabrina Carpenter's dropping another Duluth. Like I think, I think JJ released an album once and the 1975 dropped in the same week. And that's a heartbreak. That's tough. But then his other album did get one. So yeah, I don't think there's that,
12:09Cal:there's that can they not schedule that a little bit better surely you know when it's coming out right it's like oh 1975 are dropping this week let's yeah i also think if you do that like you just end up always changing your shit like let's say you find out three weeks before oh no like and the eyes just like shadow drop it sometimes it's like fuck it is my album oh imagine you got a surprise drake album you'd be like and then yeah like declan mckenna's never had a number one album yeah who declan mckenna do you know like brazil oh no no no no no no no no no no He's wearing weird stuff on stage now He's in that Spurs outfit he was dancing around He just loves Spurs Yeah but it's an interest Is this all this flavour?
12:47Yeah
12:47Chip:You didn't bring the waffle one for me? No I was just making sure You looked at me like I just revealed something No but it's just the worst one No it's not the worst one I like that one Really? Yeah yeah yeah that one's nice Sorry one second this looks a bit
13:03Cal:I'm gonna get done with it I haven't even tried this one I don't think You have Did I have thought I had the waffle one no that was the you've had this one before you did have this one this is one vanilla this is just original it says it on it says it on the bottle yeah if you could just fucking read
13:21yeah yeah we've had problems with that that people don't realize that this is just the original
Read the full transcript
13:25Chip:because people are a bit like what is cold well why don't you stick original on it yeah we're doing that but didn't think about that okay that wasn't where you didn't anticipate the low iq But then you never know as well which one is going to be like sincerely the most popular and then that might become the original right? So maybe later down the line we just pick one to be the original.
13:43Cal:Well they all launched at the same time so you could just kind of pick one eventually and be like this is the main one. Yeah this is a, forget the others. The main one would be like the most normal coffee flavor. Yeah it's got to be default. It can't be the fucking matcha, it can't be well that's the main one.
13:54Chip:The matcha was the one you were worried about. That's a good point. Yes, oh my god the matcha is so fucking difficult. It is yeah. To get right is like changing different things because it's just so expensive. has it been a nightmare doing all this yeah i'm not gonna lie the idea of doing like a food and beverage business actually sounds like hell yeah like it just even little things like this these bottles don't look anything really like they were supposed to and it's just like we signed it all off and it was just like oh suddenly we printed like a hundred thousand labels and we'd actually so the printing company just decided to like completely warp the size of this because they're like, oh, it might shrink without telling us.
14:31So this, like, would you mind pulling up a picture of the, on the Rod's Instagram, what they're supposed to look like? So these are like, this is like ugly, we're calling it ugly first edition one. Is that not second edition now? Well, it's probably seventh or whatever of the production run. But if you go further down, like bottom left there, is what they're supposed to look like. And like these, I maybe, it might just be maybe in a bit too anal, but they just, they pulled it all out of whack. So I've been working on getting that back to where it would be. It looks identical bro.
15:03Chip:Wait, what's the difference? Bro, that looks so much nicer. As in like it's, yeah, but it's a render though, right? Isn't it? Or is that actually a picture? I think also there's the kind of the black goes up all the way to the top. Yeah. That was the one thing I was going to say. Yeah. Bro, two weeks before we launched, it was supposed to be like rough, Matt, like not shiny at all. They texted us like two weeks before being like, you can't, but maybe I'm overthinking it.
15:25Cal:It does look slightly better on the Instagram, yes, but... I think you're just a perfectionist and that's... Thanks, man. It's a good thing. I'm just perfection. But yes, it's just like everything is just like you found out a new rule or whatever or...
15:38Chip:Are there loads of... Well, I know there are, but have there any been that kind of like messed you up when it comes to like rule of what you are and aren't allowed in a drink? Because recently, the reason why I bring this up is because obviously I went to Vietnam and I had the Fanta over there and it's got this thing called Red 40 in it. Oh. And it's the best tasting thing ever. I'd happily sacrifice years of my life for that. Red 40 to the audience, bro. They can't get their hands on it. It's bad, right?
16:05Cal:That's why we can't have that here. Yeah, and it costs like fucking 10 quid for one bag. Yeah. So is it not just a colour in it? It's like something that...
16:12Chip:I don't know. I'm not too... Whatever they put in the Fanta over there is actual crack. Yeah. It's so good. I feel that way about Diet Coke in the States. Weirdly, it just tastes so much nicer than it does here.
16:26Cal:Really? Yeah, it's like really metallic here, but they put something in it in the States, which just makes it so good. Shit, they're changing the Coke recipe over there, right? Is it? The sugar that goes in it. Really? Yeah. Have a look, snap. No way. Cane sugar or something like that. Sorry, at the end of the day. Could just be me getting rumbled, though. As per. Yeah. Stanley's really bad at Googling, by the way. He's working on preemptively.
16:48Chip:By the way, we've actually said, What you mean on a Googling course? It is under pressure, isn't it?
16:56Cal:Why Trump is asking him to change it? Okay, that doesn't really mean much, is it? This guy says everything. This guy's got to fuck another thing up, man. Come on, bro. Are you still interim? Have they given you the gig full time now? Are you... We don't really know. It's been like three months. Stop stringing the pool out along. Nah, it's just one of them things like... At the end of the year. Put your foot down, yeah.
17:15Chip:Well, you know what? Get straight in a HR after this. No, you know what, Will? after this podcast you can let us know whether we should keep him on oh great so now I said although you did edit that one clip of me with that that was ages ago oh come on that was ages ago you did do that so we'll have a think mate we'll see if you behave on this one right on the topic of YouTuber products we're obviously gonna do a little blind rank here how um James what's your experience with YouTuber products do you have a favourite one that isn't your own he makes me drink prime all the time for videos he makes you yeah We did one video which was making a mega prime.
17:51Oh, you've got to. And that was after like, Don't tell him he'll fucking steal it.
17:56Cal:Oh, you're making a mega prime. You know what? I've got very similar ideas. I fucking hate it. So I feel like I've drank prime far more times than, that I would have usually, but I don't hate it. There are some, I like the, uh, the fizzy pop one. Yes. Is it what's called? Ice pop. Ice pop ones. Those little energy cans were unreal, but they sucked them.
18:16Chip:Yeah, the energy prime was actually my favorite prime, but yeah, they were much better than any like Red Bull or anything like that.
18:24Cal:I love the Erling Haaland one. There's not an Erling Haaland one. There was, there was, because I've had all of them. I know. There is an Erling Haaland one, yes. Yeah, there is. Interesting, man. You got to lock into the basket. Yeah, all right, come on then.
18:40Chip:Five Munich one. Right, we're blind ranking. We've got five. Yeah. Chip, you're welcome to join in because you haven't seen these either. I'm the only one. Okay. So we'll start off with Prime. Oh, shit. Including all of the products, right? The hydration sticks and the energy. Well, let's just do Prime hydration. And what are we judging them on here? Well, that's up to you. Do you guys decide what you're ranking these on here? Like flavor? I would say like, would you buy them? Would be my... Hydration, I'm not a huge fan of.
19:13Cal:I would like to suggest four. I don't hate that I'll buy it if there is nothing else right okay I don't mean that listen I'm not really buying that kind of stuff but I can understand the appeal as a child what what sort of hole from experience okay I'll buy it so you want to have four do you
19:37Chip:yeah four's good put it in at four can you yeah just note these ones next up We've got shades by Nico. Oh, you haven't had it. I've not tried it. I think you have. I have had it. I have. For a video? No, not quite. I imagine soon though. That was decent. Strong, good. What was it? There was two of the flavors are better than one of them, right? Yeah. I would go to, I can't think of anything. I can't think of the most amazing YouTuber product though. I think my personal clients will come in here because I don't really like sweets that much. I'm more of a chocolate man. Surely the Mr. Beast toys will come into play at some point.
20:19Cal:We have to remember that one. Mr. Beast Labs. Yeah, the tropical ones were about... Also, what is the shades thing? So do the packaging. Because of the... Yeah, the Mayor of London stuff. If they're£1.70, I thought they were going to be really expensive. Bro, they're everywhere, though. He's fucking killed it. I haven't tried them, so it's hard to... No, they're good.
20:38Chip:They are good. Right, where do you want to put them? Since you're the only one that... I don't know if you can put it last. We can't use the one spot already. We'll go two. Two? Yeah. I don't know why you tried to say the last. They're good. No, I was going to say third. No, no, no. You haven't tried them. You don't get to. I was somewhere between two and three there. All right. Next up, we will go with... No Two Ways.
21:03Cal:Damn. This is a tough one. I see. I thought we were just doing food and drink.
21:08Chip:You've got them on.
21:09Cal:See. Look how worn they are Because I love these shoes Okay That's kind of proof of concept right That the fact that they're actually kicking about On your everyday body Yeah Well Do you want to put them on Or do you want to put them on three Because I don't like Calyx that much They always like to save them on That's the only change right Yeah I feel like they should be At one maybe No Absolutely three I'm with you on three Three on three Yeah So you're putting them behind shades Yeah Yeah yeah yeah he's done them already outsold gag we still love him maybe five
21:44Chip:let's go with is a big one yeah one six five fuck
21:49Cal:what's that
21:50Chip:no I don't I seen you twerking around begging me for t-shirts relax
21:54Cal:I'm happy to put I'm happy to put this last yeah what I'm happy to put this last because is it a product though or is it not just your merch I thought it was It's a bit of everything. It's a bit of... It's homes and clothes.
22:12Chip:I'll be honest with you. We felt we need... This belonged. If these other things are here, if these other things are here, then we deserve to be here. Right. That's like... That is like putting Sidemen clothes in here. Like, if you'd done that, I would have been like... You'd shoehorn that a bit. No, no, no. I see you cutting around in one, six, five. Lovely. I don't see you wearing Sidemen Hot Wheels. It is clothes. All right, put it where you want to put it. Fine. Put it where you want to put it. Five.
22:36Cal:She's clothes as well. No, I'm just saying this is a top five of all products ever. So I'm going to do it. So we're in the top five. That's not bad.
22:46Chip:All right. And that's actually really fucked me off because the last one's rods. Which means that goes in at number one, which has worked out way too perfectly. Yeah. I guess we have to put it there now because it's the end of it. What a shame. What a shame. Thank you, lads. Thank you. Yeah. That's what do you think? I'm trying to think of any like forgotten YouTuber products. What are the ones that have been and gone? Well, there's a lot of primes that have been...
23:13Cal:You and this fucking dick show. I just know. I want to take his back to prime one more time. I think the grape one's gone now. I quite liked the grape one. They've got them for like ice hockey players now and stuff. Like it's an ice hockey prime. Yeah. So what are the products? Yeah. What have been and gone? Feastables. They changed the recipe. So the old Feastables. The air rack Pizza pie He made a sauce that made everything taste like pizza I haven't seen much of that Do we have lunchly in the UK yet?
23:48Chip:Nah I don't think it's actually like legally allowed That's promising Not really promising I'm sure they'll make a UK version We'll lobby the government to make it legal Yeah Yeah, that's um Yeah, I'm trying to think why why have none come to my head your stand fucking dial in bro? What we got here, bro? What else there is? I don't really know. Yeah, what youtuber? Unless it was just like shit merch back in the day when you Whoa, wheezy Come on, wheezy Yeah, that's just the merch line, it doesn't really count That's why I mean there's nothing really much like that Would you? Fine. What does even that?
24:24Chip:I can't actually not go to a video all about it
24:25Cal:No, have you?
24:27Chip:Not yet
24:28Cal:Fucking race you We'll raise you. Forgotten YouTuber products. Oh my God. You drop it soon and I'll drop it next month. Because that's actually a brilliant idea.
24:37Chip:We'll take it in turn. You know what? Will has actually been a victim of a lot of theft in YouTube. Particularly one that I can remember that I've performed on.
24:47Cal:But you know, Will secretly is involved in a lot of theft himself.
24:50Chip:Yes, yes, yes. Am I?
24:51Cal:Yes, I actually watched Will upload a video the other day with the AI gorilla thumbnail. AI gorilla thumbnail. Oh yeah. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. To be honest, if you want to get, if you want to upload before me, just like at Sam Butcher's channel. That's what I've been doing, too. But I tag him in the description. I don't tag in your descriptions. Because it's a really bad nab. No, there was a description once that said like... Who's Sam Butcher? Don't worry about it, honestly. We have an original concept. Okay, cool. It'll spoil the whole facade. You must rock up and go. Oh, wow. I'm like, wow, he's come up with such a great idea.
25:23Oh, wait, you have no idea this all time. Yeah, he did the password game. He did the... Did he do a lot of Prime videos as well? Yeah. Great. It's all just one big chain.
25:33Cal:Yeah. But guys, keep working hard because you're doing it for me.
25:37Chip:You're doing all the hard work.
25:38Cal:My team's passing it off like they've come up with great ideas. Is it now your main channel? Is it becoming the... I think it's the same as what you've got. A couple of videos every few videos. Yeah. Maybe a couple on the main and then one a week on this.
25:50Chip:Lovely. Yeah.
25:50Cal:Lovely. Hopefully two weeks soon. It's not the best. It's not the best strategy. He's got the best strategy. Yeah, he does. But we can't...
26:06Chip:The best one has just dropped.
26:10Cal:Yeah, but they could have, they didn't say burglar in it.
26:17Cal:It's so good. How like the shadow was like the fucking cinematography, the composition was unbelievable.
26:23Chip:fucking no no bottom right this is fucking
26:32Chip:no you've got to give it to them right so i've clicked on that right i've got in the comments and they're like oh everyone will just be having a laugh in here right and somebody one of the top comments is finally Cal Freezy had it coming for him. And I'm just there like, what? This is so sinister.
26:54Cal:Some people are having genuine fun and just taking a piss and there's some people in there going, yeah, it's been four weeks of genuine pain for him. This is just about your face.
27:04Chip:Yeah, this has been happening for years. This is a classic. This is a classic.
27:10Chip:Yeah, it does make sense. The worst ones though. The worst ones are The one where I intentionally click on, like for example, the back of a B's video, like this one, right. And everybody's there like, what's wrong with him? Until I, surely we got a clock on to somebody.
27:30Cal:Then once where it's like, wait, bro's obviously ill. I haven't seen them. No, I haven't seen those either. That one was me just right now.
27:39Chip:Oh no, can we talk about your suitcase videos? These are my favorite videos that you do. Well, I've already done one. No, but like, you know, you've done, you've done a few. Yeah. But like the suitcase idea. Yeah. I love, but I have one question. Are they real? What is the video? It's real. Yeah. Like, are you actually buying lost luggage or do you make the website? It's just called undelivered.com.
28:09Cal:Yeah. you but oh i've been waiting yeah uh so and deliver a second one actually you are fucking useless man aren't you so you buy these and then sometimes you go to an auction house it took us a while to get a hundred um but yeah they're all real but they definitely like fuck like sometimes you open it it's just brand new clothes or like it was weird patterns of like some of them just had straightness put in but like all the same or like some of them would have a phone put in and it was all the same phones that were like in a job lot so and then you have like a sticker on the back of them but i spoke to the guy who owns that website and he was saying we get them from an auction house we never touch them and i was like i went in really skeptical of him and then chatted to him i was like oh i think i believe you um do you reckon there is something going dodgy on with those sort with the death yeah when you actually open them you you kind of feel at the end that that has to be like even if the suitcases themselves do belong to people the stuff that's inside is just like completely random.
29:07Cal:Yeah, they're always going to check them before and out. Exactly, right? If you're doing it to make money, you're not going to take out, you're not going to leave the best bits in.
29:13Chip:Imagine they left like a one-on-one messy card or something like that.
29:16Cal:You're such a fucking freak. Like a shattered little auto messy in there. Shattered ball sack messy or something like that. Shattered. What? Oh, a broken sigil fucking messy. Oh, I can't believe it. What? What are you taking the piss out of my hobby, bro?
29:29Chip:This is a fucking secret. This is something I do for fun, bro.
29:33Cal:Fucking a secret ready found in the boot Princess Diana's car I can't believe it
29:40Chip:Jesus fuck What? Nah, that's bang out of order R.I.P bro Nah, seriously R.I.P man You know what?
29:50Cal:Sorry And I know There's a lot of new people Watching today There's a lot of royalists man Yeah They're out there Fucking love you I love June I love June
30:00Chip:I just act like this every time Yeah, just Yeah, fuck it so in those things what is by far the weirdest thing that you've encountered probably say the USB stick right it was a USB stick with the fella's knob and his weed on but do you remember there was that one case that we opened and it was just like sick like it was just like this or like just big whiff of just like vomit and we had this like we were doing it in like a massive studio and as soon as you opened it it just like filled the whole studio and it was like terrible smell that's horrible You find a few Toys Like you find a couple of We found some unused stuff That was quite sad Like going on holiday Well it's sad I mean if they wanted to go and do something They couldn't do it It's sad for them It's probably clear that it wasn't sad for us That it wasn't used He was sad about the situation But why would it be good for us that it's unused because then you can no yeah exactly yeah hell yeah but no yeah um open one a usb stick falls out and i'm like okay right let's see if i can you know find anything to get it back to him go through and it's just like it was a few photos on there and i was like right where's the you know general information he had a picture of a letter that had his name on it i'm like class scrolled a bit further he had a picture of him holding up his own instagram which i was like i don't know why the fuck you do that i'm like sick perfect um and i was just scrolling through the rest of it and it's just him with just so much weed.
31:31Like it's big, big bags. Like just huge amounts. And I'm like, okay, keep scrolling. And it's just him cock out measuring. And I'm like, I should have stopped looking a long time ago. Honestly, like.
31:45Cal:Can we get the length? Has he got a number on him? Yeah, it was eight inches, so fair play. Fucking hell. It's always the guys with the weed. What? What do you mean by that? they're always the guys that have got the big big knobs yeah name one like what what other scenario have you found yourself in
32:05Chip:where you've drawn that conclusion
32:07Cal:it's just always the guys you know it's just a saying isn't it
32:09Chip:the top dogs
32:10Cal:always what's fucking but now why the hell don't you start piping up you're 19 you really shouldn't know that one are you still not even 20
32:18Chip:no I'm 20 you're on your 20 yeah
32:20Cal:you don't google like you're 20
32:22Chip:what let's start taking a pic um so what This is this Yeah so this is the fella Yeah just big And it's just like him and his mates With just like big packs of I don't know if it's Is it hash where it's just like You know you got a line on camera Like a brown Yeah What you said I haven't seen this Chips nobody gives a fuck About that on the pod That is quite big to me So what do you do with that info Did you go and visit the guy Be like I've got your USB Because it's like In the rest of the case There's dirty underwear There's dirty t-shirts Sorry, I don't know why I specified underwear. They're just dirty clothes, right?
32:59So surely if you're like, right, the only way somebody could have got these back to me was by seeing my knob and my, you know, huge amounts of weed, I'd rather they just keep it. Like, I'm not really arsed about that. I would have to look that feather in the eye after I've seen these other... With a newfound respect, maybe. Yes, yeah. But you don't want to give him anxiety. You should talk about the smelling of the underwear thing. What smelling of the underwear? The smelling of the underwear thing. Oh, there was no... On Facebook, because when you approach the house, and then you were put on a Facebook group, there were people saying on the Facebook group that you smell the underwear of the cases.
33:35Chip:Oh, wait, hold on. What's this? You got it in the video. So in one of the earlier videos, we did on the second channel first, right? I jokingly sniffed this. So we'll open it up, right? Right, lads. Bang out of water. We opened it, right? And I pulled these pants out, and I went, ah-ha, sniffed them, right? not thinking post the video the fella whose pants are sniffed we had his name in the case he reached out being like oh can i have my stuff back and there's just a clip of me going and just sniffing his pants so that's how the returning video came back because he was like can i have it back we said back to his and we're like can we do it for loads more but anyway word got out i'm a bit of a pants sniffer um so i rock up would you mind going back like 30 seconds please so i rock up to this woman's door look how old this woman is bless her uh keep going keep going keep going right ancient ancient we've got this woman's address on a suitcase i'm like class rock up knock the door give it back to her um don't tell her we're filming pretty cheap and um she's like not a clue what you want definitely thinks i'm some sort of like dodgy salesman go away she had a ring doorbell um so if you just skip 20 seconds this ring doorbell catches us look at his man look how shit and he's hiding in the car at this point not refusing to come out yeah because if realistically it reads out it says has anyone else had this fella knock on their door today asking if they'd lost a suitcase in the last couple of years very weird as he pulled up in a car knocked to ours but nobody else's and then the comments you did very well explained to them what you were doing as well and then the comments identified me right and now you're thinking oh they're gonna tell him you know he's not a wrong and why is this in the crime watch group you know this should be fine um no they go he sniffs people's pants i'm like that is true but there's way more context to this steve says buy uh will and he buys lost suitcases and sniffs your dirty underwear then returns it no harm was made in his youtube videos you need to give more context than that you can't just be like oh he's the pants sniffer and then i was trying to do a good yeah i was trying to this is a private facebook group as well and i'm still in it because i just forgot to leave it so i still get notifications i think it's that i still get that you're not 4k doing it as well.
36:09Can we play?
36:12Chip:I didn't do it though. I want to see him sniff this. Did you put it in the sniff? It'll be in the other video. Okay, fine. We'll leave it there. Yeah. Wow. That's all that. My reputation preceded me. And how far over? What's the furthest suitcase that you've gotten successfully found the owner of? Well, we went to LA, flew all of the way and we've got this like case, red case. I'm like, right. Perfect. Got an address on it. Knock on this woman's door. she's like, ah, that's my case. She's like, oh, it got stolen out of the back of a truck in Greece. Haven't seen it for about a year or so. She opens the case, so she recognized the shell.
36:49Inside of it were like a bloke's work clothes and just clean, not hers. And she was like, I had a Louis Vuitton purse. I had da, da, da, da, da. So the case was hers, but the stuff inside of it, this one here was bollocks. So it's like, they obviously change it around.
37:04Chip:Oh, wow. So yeah, I mean, if you're the company and you open it up and you see there's a Louis Vuitton person there, yeah, that's getting it. I'm having that. Yeah, you're not just randomly shipping that out, are you? Yeah, and then some knobhead flies 11 hours across the world to return a£40 case. Yeah, I wonder, was she annoyed? Did you feel like she was maybe blaming you a little bit? No, but our son was like keeping an eye on us, thinking we were trying to scam her or keeping like, there was a few of them being like, why are these men here at the door? From the United Kingdom. Yeah, yeah. That's actually a shame.
37:37Yeah. Bit of a shambles.
37:39Chip:Yeah. Are you going to do another one? No. No. All right, Chip, you're up. My turn now. Yeah. I'm not sure I'll make it as good. Well, I was just in the Storage War video with the Sidemen. Not the same idea, but kind of similar idea. And those are actually a lot of fun to do. I was a little bit unsure of it. They are, but when you get a shit one, it's so good.
38:03Cal:Oh, you've done it as well, haven't you? It's just like you're just rummaging through crap and it's just like, mate. And do the production make it a bit more interesting or do you just get them wrong? I have no idea. I don't think so. Because in some of the ones I've done, if they have done that, they've done a fucking bad job. Right.
38:18Chip:Yeah, I think they know what's in them and so maybe they'll decide which ones would be good for a video. Like, for example, this one that we visit is filled with like Millwall, old stadium stuff. And now obviously if Josh gets that, the content would be unreal. but I don't think that they put them in the back. I do think they look into the boxes beforehand. Yeah, you got a nice little Figo shirt out of that. Was that that video? It was unreal. Yeah, that Figo shirt was absolutely, that was in this box actually, the one here. Oh, I just had collectibles. Mate, there's no way that's just kicking about in a garage in Stratford, man.
38:54Chip:They've caused that. No, but all of this, so all of this was from like a demolished mill wall boardroom or something like that. And it was all, and you'll just see like, it's just collections of that stuff. And then my favorite thing now, me and Harry actually missed this because similar to what Chip was saying is we couldn't be asked just like, there's so much stuff in there in some of these things. Like just gone. And honestly, I felt like I was going to get knits. Like you're just rummaging around. It's so grim in there. I think you'll be all right. So I think we'd be okay. Yeah. And to be fair, I've gone in there.
39:31Chip:we spent like what 45 minutes looking through one we missed it and then one of the like evaluators yeah come out and they're like they do the thing at the beginning that all the things you missed in the box which is right oh and they pull out this call sheet from the very first harry potter authenticated anyways it had like um daniel radcliffe's signature on it it had because they got them to sign the first ever shit and it was so good philosopher's stone this was owned by millwall where's the star wars no so this was a different yeah no sorry the millwall boardroom did not have that in there i wouldn't have blamed you for not finding it in the millwall box yeah yeah all right skip along here it'll be soon though we missed a lot of like really good stuff which was a bit of a shame but we still managed to go on and win the video actually which is pretty cool um sometimes that names chair oh well no it was a replica so they thought they'd had they had that chair what is it called a chair yeah which supposedly grand or something yeah Yeah, yeah, yeah.
40:30Cal:Yeah. That's kind of crazy, actually. I got eight grand. Did you bring the Jawa back? The Jawa?
40:35Chip:I did get it. Oh, here you go. Here's the call sheet. I did get it, so I don't know where it is yet, though. Nice. Well, and it's just Rowan Bazinga's grubby aunt. No, they put it in a laminate thing. It's got like the... Wow. Signatures, yeah. And I took this thing home. I took it home. It was sick. And we realized, like... Wait, you've got it? Yeah, I took it home. Yeah. Wow. That's sick. I want that. Oh, my God. Do you tell me how much it would be worth? Yeah, I think they said like about two grand. Really? Yeah, for a bit of paper. Mate. Yeah, but sometimes, okay, all the evaluators are like the most lovely people and incredible on camera.
41:11Chip:But I can't help but think, surely they just lie sometimes. Yeah, how do you know the value of all of the different ranges of things? Yeah, the guy on the left, the tall chap was brilliant because he's like a sports guy. and he came up to us before the cameras were rolling and he showed us I think I can put this I'll double check remind me Santa get clearance on the story he showed us Pele's first ever World Cup medal so Pele sold because he was on the way out he sold loads of his like collection loads of his collection and he had the first ever world cup medal that he'd won and he put it back now at the time i thought he handed it to me i had no idea what it was to begin with he was like how much you reckon this is worth it's a world cup medal i was there like what like 10 15 grand he's there like no it's like closer to like 300 400k and he's there like i'm selling this now to to like a private person hello when he was about to die sold everything yeah loads of his memorabilia yeah i wonder what he did with the money i guess just passed the money down.
42:22Chip:Yeah. It was, it was that chip. It was that. It's a Jawa. Star Wars. Right. Did you get, did you have this? Yeah, I got that. And then I beg, like Chip was there like, make sure you bring that back, man. I need that. I want it. It's so long to bring back. It's going to be. But he actually has started it for me. Can we have him on set? Yeah. No, that's what, that's what the plan is. Yeah. How many evaluators were there? We'll put it right here. Five. Say five of them. I feel like the fact that there's multiple probably means they're more likely to be honest. I also think - If one of them's acting out, the form might be like -
42:52Cal:It's also their, like, kind of main job. So if they're on fucking side of the show, getting 10 mil views, just fucking lying away. Are those these real pints?
42:58Chip:No, by the way, sorry. I don't mean that they're like, but I just think that sometimes they must just throw a real estimated guess at that.
43:05Cal:They're never going to say, I don't know what it's worth. Yeah. Because they've got to do it on the spot all the time, right? They've got to go and research that shit.
43:11Chip:Yeah, but they are insanely knowledgeable. like every time they were just like one small thing they're like this would be worth loads but unfortunately this was this year and you actually needed it in this year so they're actually crazy knowledge
43:22Cal:they start looking at the materials and shit like right this has got that which means it's not authentic and I'm like what the fuck go outside that is dead interesting
43:29Chip:so yeah these type of videos are actually so fun to make but the Simon boys genuinely spend a long time going through them boxes I thought it'd be like you just take a quick look like find some valuable shit and leave this is done in an hour and a half. Mate, everyone's spending like 45 minutes per storage box. Having a good dig. Yeah. They're properly getting through it. So it was, um, it was sick. Anyways, let's talk about the e-boys, man. Oh, bring them back. Bring them. Actually it's more YouTube groups. Cause obviously we've just had a new one launch. Yes. You were not part of, you were a part of e-boys.
44:06Chip:You were not part of the e-boys. You got a shit and run the bov boys have just launched yeah we know what that's gonna be yeah they were like we're not gonna try as hard which i like set out like they were just like we're not gonna go high production which i think is smart set the tone early let's not overextend ourselves and then they've gone and uploaded bang in first vid the video's really good and great production
44:37Cal:if you watch it though it's like you can tell that it was just like a fucking doddle though oh yeah no I don't know mate it's a good bit of production it's like they've got the couple camera men but it's just all they need is the boys banta right it's not like a Simon video where the fucking camper van sucked up with 15 GoPros it's not like that what like this what the fuck is this oh those pajamas go fucking silly crazy hard Shrek wow but yeah the Bob boys are in town remind me my John Pork shorts that I've got got alright let's carry on with Bob boys
45:11Chip:yeah man um how come my question was how come you don't think there's more youtube groups than there are i think it's very tough it doesn't it doesn't just depend on how you work together on screen it's how you work together off screen is the be all and end all if like everyone's aligned and pulling and yeah i think it needs to really line up i think it's a very tough thing i kind of need like someone to someone away from you to manage it that's kind of the way it felt at least for me Because I think when you're trying to balance it between you, it can kind of feel like one of you is working harder than another and it can kind of create like an unusual chemistry on screen as well because of that.
45:49So I think the first thing that I would do if I was the Bob Boys would be to get someone else to manage that. But they probably already...
45:55Cal:I think they might have, yeah. Ginger. I see you have that for big words as well, don't you? Huh? Change the frames. It's not disturbing.
46:05Chip:Yeah, I know. We have the Jawa back.
46:07Cal:Yeah. Yeah.
46:09Chip:I think one thing that actually just goes crazy underrated is the fact that the Salmon Boys are still all the same members from the beginning for 15 years. I don't think people are really like how just insane that is to have friends for that long, never mind doing business with them. Yeah, surely they might smack each other up sometimes. Did you ever want to chin anybody in E-Boys?
46:30Cal:Every day.
46:33Chip:Alright, so we've got other groups. I had a prick in my hand. and then we also have beta squad now beta squad uh but this is what i'm saying it feels like anybody that does go and make a youtube group they do is what goes really well yeah it's the logistical side of things is a fucking ballick right yeah i find it so much easier just featuring on your things like it's because it kind of has the same pull of like doing content in a group people just like to see two people interact and that you know they have like oh that person who i love and that person i love i love seeing them do videos together and i find it so that it really takes the pressure off if you're just kind of featuring because then there's no there's no expectation but kind of every time you do it just feels like yeah i'll come and do it and it'll be fun but then what about like you guys so you're like your work in relationship do you go because you just kind of have like things are your job with the studio things are your job right and do you like this is this is how we we line it out and yeah simple as i know what to do you know so soon we just go for it thankfully we're not interested in what the other person does yeah
47:32Cal:I don't give a shit about the shit he does. He doesn't want to do any of the creative stuff and I'm like, please keep that fucking business shit away from me. Right. So it worked perfectly. Nice. Because no one wants to do the person's job. Yeah.
47:43Chip:That is a nice part of it. Yeah. And who does more? Definitely Cal. I would say it's equal. It's equal. You know what? He always gasses me up like this. He always gasses me up like this. It's equal.
47:54Cal:If there's not a set being built, I don't have to do as much honestly. Yeah. Because creatively, things are already flowing. I've already done my job. but when there is loads of sets going on it's fucked right so you're very involved in the
48:05Chip:building of the sets yeah all of them visionary if you guys were to have a podcast what would just me hanging from the roof yeah he doesn't like them i i love i love a podcast but oh do you yeah back off that is interesting isn't it so interesting i literally have a whole brief for it yeah pull up the deck you made yeah send us the email or the letter and i was just shredding them before i never saw that yeah you never saw that oh that's so weird i said it five times can
48:36Cal:i just say it's a it's a money maker for you guys and how easy is it as well honestly you guys but you're only looking at me right now because you know what he's gonna be hard to convince
48:47Chip:no but that's not what it's about yeah because james if i got you i got well yeah that's just
48:53Cal:not true we'll hold it right so you want one more suitcase video you gotta do a pod yeah you know
49:00Chip:what as well like so the creative was right you don't want to hear this is the creative that me
49:07Cal:and chit worked on what was it for six weeks yeah the name of the pod is bombs um what what what that's not what we agreed on you know you this guy's like chilling bums yeah bums what's the what's the creative comes is in like doing nothing kind of guys right i think i think they got that. Yeah. Yeah.
49:28Chip:I was thinking this is making sure it wasn't going another way. All right. Well, so this is, this is what the set looks like. Yeah. It's split down the middle. Okay. Like a bomb.
49:48It's crazy. I'm seeing the vision. It's the vision.
49:55Chip:We just got out of the middle of it. You won't play, but it actually is. Now, then on the left is a color of your choice. Like what? Pink, blue. Okay. Pink, blue. We'll both go for pink, I reckon. You can just, or it could be, yeah, I don't know. Yeah, fuck it. You can have whatever color. And then, Will, you just have it whatever color you want. We haven't really got to the color bar. Right. Okay, cool. And then you're both in GIMP suits. right so you're both in like the mask and everything you know we're just the hole here yeah and i'll be in a latex cube that's fine what did you call no this is a world's first by the way breaking ground i love to cut i love that okay and then it's uh because obviously we discussed the format and like how this would this was like what segments we could have but we decided like instead of having like separate segment, the whole thing is just you guys saying things you like about the other person.
50:51Chip:Right. Well, it'd be quite fucking short. No, I don't think it would because, well, the thing is, one of the big things that we do anytime we approach a podcast, like what sort of clips can we get out of this? And so I looked at like what sort of clips people make of YouTube. And it's just like, oh, wow, so beautiful.
51:09Chip:So if you just kept going like, oh, James, that mustache is so beautiful. Like there, boom, that's one clip. and then the other one goes like, well, he's actually, he's right. Your chiseled jaw is so sexy. Thanks, man. And I love the fact you're a hopeless romantic, you know, things like that. Yeah. Do you have any more you want to get off your chest? Because this feels quite like personal. And then, and then, and then obviously you let James know like, oh, where'd you get those shoes? They're so nice.
51:31Cal:Yeah. This is not in my brief, by the way.
51:34Chip:None of this. Yeah. That's, yeah. So anyways, just, you got my number in it, James. Yeah. Well, the thing is, You just don't want to do one. I will not do one. Yeah. I've done enough of them. How many episodes are you doing? How many have you done? Until the money on the drive.
51:49Cal:249? Six. 246. Good guess though from a guy that just don't give a shit. Yeah. I'm sure you should know. Yeah. Are you not? Yeah, you used to really. Sorry. Because we had one before and you used to really, you used to really dread it. But I always used to really look forward to it. It's nice to have a chat for an hour. On your one though, wasn't it a little bit more, not scripted, but you were organized with it, a bit too organized. But like we did a e-boys podcast before that. Was there a, the XO that was a podcast. I'm just like, I'm just fucking.
52:20Chip:My favorite part of the week is the pod. Without a doubt. Don't lie. I swear to God, I'm not joking. It is really fun. If I'm doing a solo episode, I like my week. It's crazy.
52:33Cal:You're never doing a solo episode.
52:35Chip:No, solo episode just means me and Chip. No guests. Oh, I thought you were not here. When have we ever done that? So it's never the highlight.
52:42Cal:Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, it is actually fucking class because we just turn up. He sits there. We put our feet up and just chat. But do you know what I mean? People have a guest coming that you're like, fuck, am I going to say to them? We do have that, yeah. I actually dislike most guest episodes, which is why I don't speak.
52:57Chip:I go non-verbal. We've had a lot of feedback, which is essentially, unless they're your mates, don't get them on. Really? Yeah. Have you ever had a guest episode which you've not uploaded because it just didn't go the way you wanted to? Nah, we feel like the level of... You got to upload it, you got to affirm it, I think. Right? Yeah, we definitely... There's been ones where we watch... Why are you pointing out the Tiny Tempo one? That was sick. I love that pod. That was sick. That was a great pod, but it just stung. Yeah, it didn't do well, but that's what we're saying in terms of people prefer the episodes where we're kind of just with our mates.
53:31Chip:Yeah. That makes sense. And like for me, getting Tiny Tempo on the pod was sick. I was there like, this guy's like a fucking icon when I was growing up. But it just turns out that our audience doesn't necessarily really care about us speaking to me. So for a good example of this, right, they go, Tiny Tempo, who's your UK music goat, right? Tiny Tempo goes, Damon Albarn, right? These two go, who's Damon Albarn? I actually still, I still don't know who that is. Gorillaz and Blur. Leettinger of Blur. I could tell you what tune from Blur, bro. you could song two you can you know something they're on fifa bro the universal you know that song park life you know that yeah yeah he does i've never heard of these two you know park life oh the people oh yeah i do know that too yeah yeah yeah um what is your what's your all-time goat no no no actually oh shit we should have done a blind ranking for this but what's your all-time um all-time goat musician probably david bowie i'd say because i think he has so many eras and kind of just did things that not many other people were doing.
54:33I don't, I like, he's not my go-to to listen to music, but in terms of all time, like favorite musician, I'd probably say him just because of the way he just did whatever he wanted and went through many years. Oh, wow.
54:44Chip:So, oh, okay. So I like, you know who David Bowie is though? Yeah, yeah, yeah. The guy with the face, man. The guy with the face. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Now he face paint all the time. All the time. Not only that, but actually he had a sick song on Rock Band. Yeah. Don't bring Rock Band. Who's yours? Who's yours? MC Rock Eye. Okay.
55:04Cal:You're doing too much. You've ruined the whole thing. No, no, no. MC Rock Eye. I could have said me, but that's fine. Is this some deep tits up lore or something? No, no, no. No, no, no. It's just a... Just do it. Just find a live viewers.
55:19Chip:Just rapping away. MC Rock Eye. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah, it is. Yeah, it is. All right. I need to tune into DJ Rock Eye then. Thank you for that. MC Rock Eye. Please get it right. Yeah. That's kind of cool. Yeah. You know what? Music. What? Are you going to go? I've seen Best Friends quiz. Yeah, we're going to do a little Best Friends quiz. I think why the podcast with him didn't do as well. I think you kind of have created something which is more just like, but the normal episodes are just you two chatting. It's not like an interview podcast. So people are looking for an interview podcast with Tiny Timber.
55:50They'll probably go somewhere else as well. What's your most viewed one ever? Oh, it's with the boys.
55:56Cal:Oh, Harold. Yeah, of course. or Harold's putting a shit in that top five. Actual episode on YouTube. Yeah, it's Olivia Neal. Wow. Oh my God, that Oli Ball one banged. And you had to re-record that, right? Yeah, we did.
56:07Chip:We got an hour into that Oli Ball one and it wasn't recording. So like it was actually even better. Damn. No, honestly, anytime we get any, by the way, if there's any girls popping out there on social media, come on the pod, please. Like we literally, every time you guys come on the pod, it just bangs. Olivia Neal, look at that, bro. Where? Right at the top, third one. There's a bigger set. oh my god yeah yeah it's mad uh oh shit yeah why don't you do more i suppose it's just hard to find i just like if if you're out there you're welcome on the pod we'd love to chat to you yeah um so emily black oh that's a real tbt um yeah there's loads of uh loads of good right who knows this i got a feeling this is gonna be our most viewed i think this is gonna do numbers now because like if you guys want them to do a pod that i'll just refresh you know just refresh and then show them the demand.
56:57What are the chances of you doing a podcast? Oh, like absolutely zero.
57:01Chip:What'd you do for some good coin? A million pounds a year. You're doing a pod. Wow. I don't like podcasts. I'm not a fan of a million. I don't, I'm not a huge fan of pods. He's not looking you in the eyes. You said a million and he went, I'm not doing it for a million pounds a year. Just, you know, podcasts don't align with me creatively. Oh, that was a good line. All right. All right. We'll leave that there. But let me just say, I like the way James is bringing it up because I think he likes it. You can have one with him. No, no, no. I like it. No, no, no. I was saying, don't try and weasel out of it.
57:38Chip:Don't try and weasel out of it, bro. A little solo pod. If you were to do a solo pod, what would it be? Would it be a music-based one? All right, sorry.
57:45Cal:Eye contact with James. No, I'm quite sorry. I just say in silence. That's a good name. That's a great name. Eye contact with James. Get out of the oven. I see how you're looking. What would it be though? I don't know. I think I, if I was to do anything, it would be with musicians. Yeah. I'd love to interview musicians. Yeah. Okay. All right.
58:05Chip:Now leave that. But then also it would just be me kind of crying that you weren't there doing it with me as well. So talking about, well, maybe you could have a will secondary FaceTime. Shut the fuck up, man. All of you have like a life-size will doll. Maybe. Yeah. All right. Right. We're going to do a best friends quiz. Yes. Because obviously you guys are besties. Well, me and Chip aren't best friends. We're colleagues. We're not going to win this one. But what we do is we put on a front that we're best friends. Right. Right. So we should win this. But like when you get married, you're going to look across and like, you know, you're going to be fucking.
58:40Special suit in that.
58:41Cal:Yo, we'll follow up the G for Goon Squad. YouTube next biggest group. Yeah. No, I meant when you get married to your respective partners, not to each other. Oh, shit. You'll both be best men. Shit, we're not getting married, bro. Do we know? Huh? We're not getting married anyway. We said we're going to get engaged in this second. What the fuck are you pulled up? This is the Goon Squad sticker. Oh, it's the Goon Squad logo. Isn't that cramped?
59:02Chip:No, that's a C. We got a G.
59:06Cal:The bend in the thumb is very important, guys. Let's get this. When you're in LA, make sure you bend the thumb.
59:12Chip:Otherwise you're in a bit of trouble. Do you know Josh Peters? His production company is called Goon Squad. Yeah, we've already sent them a season to say.
59:20Cal:They said production company This is This is a lifestyle People commit to the course
59:29Chip:Oh right they're in there Okay so we'll do you guys You guys go first But what we have to do is remember It's because we have incredible audio only listeners Just make sure you read out your answer when you turn it around I genuinely don't know these ones Okay Here we go So I will start for We'll do theirs first Here we go. Okay. So we've got Will and James. We're going to go for you guys first. So you both have to agree on these answers. The first question is who has the better fashion sense? If you could please hide your writing.
1:00:01Cal:Don't let him just see you writing. Wait, so you can't. Yeah.
1:00:03Chip:Yeah. About you or about us? No, no. It's about you two. So between you two, who has the better fashion sense?
1:00:13Chip:Now between us two, who do we think has a better fashion sense between the two?
1:00:16Cal:I actually don't know, you know, bro. Cause some days you're shining and sometimes you're hell of a mummy. Okay.
1:00:21Chip:I, me personally, it's a James landslide. Cause he's rocked up in some unreleased. Oh, I thought you were talking about me and you.
1:00:30Cal:Um, who would you give it to? I would, Will dresses more like what I would wear. So I would give it to Will. Okay. So it's not saying you, you dress awful James.
1:00:39Chip:I don't think you're wrong. I don't. Okay. Okay, here we go. So on three, two, one, who have you got? I bet Will.
1:00:44Cal:I choose, he just gets dressed. They dress him. They style him. They give him the stuff. You're lucky a little superstar right now. You are a superstar, you know. Big diva. One point to be in the right direction of things. I don't dress myself. Yeah, that's fair.
1:00:57Chip:Right, that's one. I could wonder that. It's a tangent. Okay, we'll move on to the next question here. I just saw like you shoot to be recently and they dressed you like Andrew Tate or something. Really? I was like, but you, you got the, is this the AMA? No, this is, this was a premiere last month. You got that shit on by the way. Yeah. I really liked that. Really nice there. But there was like a music. House of Solo. Yeah. So they essentially House of Solo. They dress you. They kind of, there's a stylist there and they dress you with the clothes that the magazine want to show. So it's all kinds of weird.
1:01:32That's the most bisexual pick I've seen though.
1:01:34Chip:You do look good. You look sexy. That's cold. fun but then it's also like you turn up to this thing and i'm like just over six foot three so i'm quite a big guy so a lot of the clothes just don't have to get it in right look at that yeah it's really gold though do you not send your measurements ahead of time yeah i think so but then there is just also like not many like designer clothes i guess that will just fit well can you does it make you want to compost when they're taking the pictures are you good with it i'm okay with it now. Yeah. That one is just like, it's just all of that. That's the Undertake one.
1:02:07Yeah. But they had, they wanted to do it. Yeah, no, there's some, it's some nice photos.
1:02:13Chip:One for the gram for sure. Yeah. Yeah. It's all like very artistic. Did you post them or no? Have you posted these on? I think I did. I think we're mewing in them as well. Yeah. I love that. Yeah. Come on. Also, you see that one where they're covering your eyes. Supposedly that's a sign that you've been inducted into. Oh shit. Really? If you cover one of your eye in a fucking shoot. Yeah. Really? That's the thing. That's the thing. Number one. Covering one eye, Illuminati. There's gonna be some people that genuinely believe that. I do believe that. That's why I've made sure he's - Okay. You're the one.
1:02:46Chip:That's why I'm not getting a solo podcast. Did you do that? Did they tell you? They told me to do that. Yeah. I'm not like particularly natural. And who told you? Were there people in white hoods or? Oh shit.
1:02:57Cal:And the way you did it as well. Oh my God, James. Oh no. Oh, it's not inefficient. Oh, well done. You're off it. Get your conspiracy. Now trust me. Look, look, look, look. I see. Yeah, no, but they're doing it like that. I did it with...
1:03:10Chip:No, I know, but I still, I don't know. You know, anyways. I'm just like gaslighting you. I definitely didn't. Let's go to the next one here, which is how many dates has Will and E been on in 2025? We know this number is... Yeah. Is it in total or like... Can we go to the nearest 10?
1:03:29Chip:No, as in, as in, um, like, you know how you have like unique viewers like that unique date. That is a crazy way to describe it to him, but he gets it.
1:03:37Cal:Yeah. You know what I'm trying to say, innit? It's got to be a different person. With different people.
1:03:46Chip:Yeah. Different people. Because if he's been on loads of dates with one, it could get a bit high, you know, I'm sure this number is quite low. He's quite selective. No, actually. I'm going to go a bit lower.
1:03:56Cal:Not in a mean way. He's selective, but not in a drafting process.
1:04:01Chip:I was going to put one, but then that looks more deep. Then I was going to put none. I need you to angle your board a little bit this way. I mean, I've written mine anyway. Okay, fine. Go on then. Don't be a cheeky bugger, Will. He's actually breathing heavy, by the way. Well, the correct answer is... What month are we in? August. It's not June anymore.
1:04:26Cal:You playing an averages game? Are we saying we're different people? All right. Yes. Fuck, you won't believe what I just rubbed out. All right, ready? That's crazy. Three, two, one, seven. I don't know if a camera would have picked that up, but I had written seven. Right, what made you think it couldn't have been seven? What month? Personal information about you that made me feel like it might have been... No, it's... What? I don't want to divulge that information. No, let's do it. Okay, well, you were dating one person for a significant amount of time, not a significant amount of time, but over at least a month.
1:04:57Yeah. So I thought maybe that would have decreased it. Right. But then he's crammed loads in in one month. Yeah.
1:05:02Chip:That's obviously gone tits up and he started barking around shortage. Right. Okay. Let's move on to the next one. So you've got one point. What is Willany's worst purchase? Oh my God. I've got it.
1:05:20Chip:Do you reckon you both put the same thing here? Yeah. Yep. Yes. Got it. I think he's writing a lot of letters for what I believe is quite a simple word. I feel like it's putting a mural on the wall. All right. Ready? Three, two, one. Have you written Basil? Oh my God.
1:05:36Cal:What did you write? Oh my God. Oh,
1:05:43Cal:that's brilliant. Well, I did not know you bought one of them. So it's like 2021 and the original, the guy had like designed Lil Uzi's logo. I was just really sucked up in the height of it all. And it was like the first ever. No, no, no. It's like, you'll not even see it. It wasn't one of them. But it was like the first. He's like, oh, the first time I designed this logo, I designed it on a napkin. I was like, hook, line, and sink. I paid 10 grand for it. 10 grand! For a little losing 30. What's it worth now? How much? Yeah. How much is it worth now? Did you get rid of it? It's nothing. Oh, God damn.
1:06:15I had like five Ethereum sitting around. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Oh no. I mean, I think I tried to buy a little people off of Muffin as well. He said no. So thank God. Wow. Yeah. You could have bought but no Basel close second close.
1:06:30Chip:All right guys, let's move on to number four here, which is James's worst song he's released. And why? I think we'll get this one. You don't actually have to get the why, but I just want an explanation as to why. But if you get, have you got my pin? No. You dashed it. I think after that last one, where did it go? There's another one in there. Hopefully it shows up. I think I'll be fine.
1:06:50Cal:Oh, coffee's going through me. Where did it go? Don't tell me you need another shit. Tyler's going to have a feel day with me. Let me say that, brother.
1:07:00Chip:Okay, here we go. All right, one, two, three. It's a one called Slow Down. This is his first one. Yep. But it was just like, you were just learning, did you produce it all? You put it all out? Yeah, I produced it with just someone else I knew online at the time, so it was kind of just thrown together, really. I was doing like, like silly little comedy songs, comedy, in commentary videos. And then one of them I put on Spotify and it did quite well. So I just was like, oh, maybe I'll make a serious song. This was that. And it was just before I really knew what I wanted to do. But is it still up there for people to listen to?
1:07:29Chip:Yes. It goes down well when you play it. But then you... We don't play it anymore. That's quite surprising. Like a year or two ago, right? Yeah, we reworked it for live. But it's just kind of like, I think for me, it becomes... You know when you go to like a Joji gig and there's someone wearing like a pink guy suit? It feels a little bit like that where it's just like, I don't really want that to be what the music's known for because I'm not proud of it as a song. Really? But I think it is important you leave it up there though. Yeah, it is part of... And there's people that like the journey. There's people that like it.
1:07:59Chip:I like it. I think it's a good song. There you go. Look, Stan... I was actually really surprised at that's your answer. Really? I thought that was one of your biggest songs. I think it's because it was the first one. It was one of the... And like all of the singles get more attention than the kind of album tracks, I guess. But yeah. I don't know. Stanley's trying to get that vote at the end of the app.
1:08:21Chip:He's doing his thing, man. He's doing his thing. All right. So you guys did get that. I believe you are on, what is that? Two, two, two points. And we're on to the fifth and final one here. Best video that you guys have made together. You guys get this one.
1:08:34Cal:I reckon you guys get this one. Easy. Yeah.
1:08:36Chip:Ooh. I wonder if they're going to have the same one now.
1:08:39Cal:Suitcase video number seven. It is.
1:08:44it's made such a no-brainer it's such a no-brainer i've got it different i think three two one i put 50 hours tiny car okay that was and you've gone for e-boy's chest it was the worst we rocked up we had this shit thing we used to have chip fat as an editor and he used to just save us uh maybe again don't pull it up it was just yeah not a yeah i remember we We were sat in your apartment coming up with video ideas and a whiteboard. And we wrote down E-Boy's bet on chess. And we're like, that's amazing. Like we actually believed that that would be a banger. Yeah. So that is the best video you've done together.
1:09:22No, it's terrible. It's an absolute, the worst. It's absolutely the worst. I think I love the 50 hours in a tiny car video. I think my favorite video of yours is the Vietnam one. So, because I could go back and watch that again. Yeah. Not the question though. No, no, no. It was the best. I wish I was in that one. That's the one that I'm like. If I go, James, you want to go to Vietnam? You're going, fuck off. You're telling me I'm not flying 11 hours. I'm scared of flying, so. Oh, that's not ideal if you want a tour. I do fly, but it's like mainly only for music. Yeah, that's fair.
1:09:55Chip:Come on then, you lot. Three points. They just got two points. They didn't get the last one. Well, we're not three points. No, we're three. You did do the worst video there. It was meant to be the best video. What? Yeah, we know that. No, it was the best video. it's mate it's a cultural mastermind don't go and watch it though what would your answer be sincerely yeah that was a good one or we did one it feels dumb being like oh we tried banned energy drinks but I thought that was a good one you want to crack on one you got that one ordered
1:10:20Cal:yeah I remember that one time the one where we had the sloth was funny like one of the really early ones in the format that you currently do when you do my searches in a few two years you'll be like oh yeah So you're like, oh, banned products. And you go 60 % of these products that we're reviewing we've had before. Yeah. Nice. You'll find that. All right.
1:10:44Chip:It's our turn to beat two. Okay. It's a beatable score, but it's not ideal. I don't think. I had to look at our questions. I think they're quite hard. Yeah.
1:10:52Cal:All right. I don't even know you like that, bro. I just know you like that. Great. Favorite YouTube. All right. What's the worst question? First question, Will. All right. So. These are easier. I don't think. I don't think. I don't think that's what I'm going to get Alright, I wouldn't know this about him Who is Kyle's favourite YouTuber? Oh, yes
1:11:13Chip:I'm actually not even too sure I know myself Who am I just sticking?
1:11:18Cal:Come on bro, think about it Because I know it Would yours be Mark Rober? I know it Think about it, yeah? Wolf Glick Just think about it No idea who that is Fucking lock the hell in Thane is my Oh, Fern's the other So good Ah, that's ball knowledge Wow It's a chip because i thought like you were chilling around me and shit
1:11:41Chip:that's crazy but i'll be honest with you it doesn't say favorite videos i can't quote one thing from any of your videos it doesn't say favorite videos it says favorite youtuber all right boys fair keep it moving sorry so i reckon there are some fucking diabolical ones here that he won't admit to um you should though what is chip's nickname for sabina
1:12:01Cal:Oh, so I've got so many. Most recently used. We've got to remember. Yeah, there was a new one used in one of my second challenge bids, but Carl won't mind not seeing it. Oh, but you've got to do the most recently used one. I do have to use the mate one, right? Proper baby voice. Like, as in, he proper says awful.
1:12:19Chip:No, no, no, no, no. But to the point where they're like, mate, that's not you. Like, you're not yourself. You've lost yourself.
1:12:27Cal:There are three variants of one singular word. Can you do it? You shorten them, you go longer, you go shorter, you go... After you've shown us that, can we hear it? I'd love to hear it. Oh, fuck. This is brilliant, though. Thing is, I will out myself because I'm a fucking loser anyway. I got nothing to lose. Honestly, we're all going to be dead in 100 years and they'll never remember us.
1:12:47Chip:Right.
1:12:48Cal:You guys all right? All right. Yeah.
1:12:50Chip:Chips, come on through a good time. Okay, ready? Three, two, one. Snookums or bubs? Babushi. That feels slightly racially motivated.
1:13:00Cal:Babushka. Babushka is like Babushka. Babushka.
1:13:03Chip:That's a grandma in Russian.
1:13:05Cal:She started calling me that. And I was just like, nah, what's going on there? And then it gets, it's been shortened to Babush or Boosh. So those two used as well. Snookums. Snookums is real. Snookums is Sabina one. Which she calls a huge Snookums. Yeah. And what about bubs? Yeah. You say bubs all the time. It's a little bit Nakita now. It's like out of cash. You're not called that bubba though. It's crazy. The fact that all three of them are real is fantastic. There's loads more. There's loads more. Can you do the voice? I want to hear the voice. Yeah, do it. My little boo.
1:13:38Cal:Hey, we all been there. I don't get how you go. How do you go from that to go? Sabina, door. It's like, hey, look, it's all characters in there. We're all just in our own little movie. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
1:13:49Chip:100%. I felt my body seize up there.
1:13:51Cal:That was fantastic. Hey, you asked for a performance on that. I did. I love that. It's like a roller coaster. Okay, so out of these, you've got none? Yeah, we're only two. So you do need to get one of these next, two of these next three. Yeah. But we need to go three for three to win. Yeah. Chippo. Yeah. What's Cal, what's his favorite food? That was a funny answer. I don't know this. You're way easier on this than you're fucking stick. Yeah. If this was the other way around. This is difficult to be fair, but I've got my answer. All right, three, two, one. Bye. Bye. I love a burger. It actually is his favorite.
1:14:30Cal:I love a burger. The thing is, is it actually, because I feel like there may be just... You're the big food connoisseur and your favorite thing is a burger.
1:14:38Chip:I love a great burger, yeah. What's your go-to? What's your like - Do the thing again. Do the thing again. What's your topping choice? Oh, you know what? I like crispy shallots. Okay. It's a good one. Yeah, I really like that. Brioche bun? No. It could be a potato bun. Oh yeah. What's a potato bun? Yeah. Don't worry about it. All right. Let's move on to the, all right. So wait, we've got one. You're going to ask your own questions or can I do it? All right. Chip.
1:15:11What does Chip think Cal's best feature is?
1:15:14Chip:I mean, that's not the question, but we can do that one.
1:15:16Cal:No, it's me. No. Oh, does Chip think his best feature is? Yeah. What does Chip think? All right. Don't get touchy. So what does Chip think? Let me ask the question. Physical feature, right? Okay.
1:15:25Chip:So Chip's best feature. What does he think?
1:15:27Cal:I don't have many good ones, bro. So it should be pretty obvious.
1:15:35Chip:I'm going to go with this, but I'm going to put an honorable mention. How about that? You like that?
1:15:38Cal:There are no honorable mentions, bro. And the honorable mention at the bottom is this.
1:15:44Chip:I think I know what.
1:15:46Cal:He's going to put cock, isn't he, guys?
1:15:49Chip:Nah. There's an honorable mention in here, but it's only a recent one. All right, here we go. So, three, two, one. I'm going trim. Oh, okay. Yeah. And then I put the recent one he keeps flexing is the biceps.
1:16:03Cal:They're getting there. What? What are you up to now? Just fucking smashing it. No, but like, what weight are you up to? Oh, I'm 73. We're the same fucking weight. Really? Well, I'm 74. Don't. No, can't be. What do you mean? You've got to be in your 80s. Might be. That's crazy. That's crazy. I'm just kidding. No, don't babushki me. All right. Oh, do we have a tiebreaker? Oh, that's it. If they win this one, we win. By the way, by the way, we get the last one. Yeah. Do you actually get that? Yeah. Okay. Lovely boys.
1:16:37Chip:But like first time. Shut up, shut up, shut up. Yeah. Where did you meet each other? Have we got to put a year on it? No. Oh, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. A year. Yeah, I think a year is good.
1:16:48Cal:Are you trying to say the specific, specific place? Nah What are you trying to say here
1:16:52Chip:Where did Yeah Nah nah Just like the area Nah nah nah Where did you meet You got us in London Nah
1:16:57Cal:I'll pick specific players bro
1:16:59Chip:Nah And I think we need you to both Kind of describe the moment So we can't like Oh I don't I can't do that What Because I don't know though Alright He does now I can describe the moment You I shouldn't Probably shouldn't Not you This is my best friend Alright you ready It was a FIFA game wasn't it Yeah Yeah
1:17:19Cal:in this place. It could be too. I'm panicking. Have you put a year? Did we meet in Insomnia? No, I think it was just no. No? Yeah, I think it was. If we've got to put a year, what year is it now? 2025. Don't play. Don't. I'm trying to help him out. It's my babushki. You need to. Oh, you little dog. Year wise,
1:17:44Chip:I'm so. I think I got this shit on that. Okay. Yeah, I got this shit. All right. Are we ready? Let's see it. No reading. 3, 2, 1. Cologne. 2014. Oh! I just don't want to say it. It's a cologne. It's a cologne. Oh! Little Eurogamer number. Nah, little cologne. That was the place of the strip club. That was just where I was in the drink though. It sounds a little bit crazy. It sounds a little bit crazy. Censor it. It sounds a little bit crazy. So you met me already in the strip club? We were with two different friend groups and they just descended, met up there. Two different friend groups. One of them was stripping.
1:18:25Cal:You would go to this gaming convention back in the day in Cologne. It was like one of the main meetups. But for some reason, the main night out point was always the strip club. Free drink, everything. No, it wasn't actually that degenerate besides the part where you get up on stage and you'd have to take it out of the fucking breast, which I wasn't doing. What were you taking in your mouth? It was just mental. You had to go up on stage, put money in your mouth and they'd like kind of come over and take it out your mouth and all kinds of stuff cologne yeah cologne can even give you the name shut down yeah would you like a postcode of Bonhoeffer
1:19:00Chip:alright so we actually only ended up getting oh wait so where did you two when was the first time Memeulous's flat yeah it was nobody else lived in that flat either okay and what was that was it like hi I'm Will hi I'm James yeah it was very subtle but you'd messaged me before because you were looking for editors and I'd applied to work for him and then I didn't get it. And he used a 40 pound video for Memeulous back in the day in 2018. Wow. George is like, he was doing what, like two mil, three mil a video? It was his like, he was doing like five of the videos. You were an editor? Yeah. So I lived in Portugal and I'd met, I met George at Insomnia and then he'd watched my videos when I had like one or two K subscribers and liked my editing.
1:19:42So I mean, as an editor. Yeah. And then that's insane. But it was kind of with the idea of he was like, yeah, it wouldn't be well, it wasn't paid as well as it probably could have been. But then I became friends with him and started making videos. It all works out. Yeah. Yeah. Sick.
1:19:57Chip:Yeah. Oh, that's really cool. I did not know that. Yeah. That's a good bit of lore there. What's the best friend freak off?
1:20:01Cal:Oh, shit. Let's get to the freak off. Okay. Yeah. All right. All right. Here we go. Kyle came up with his segment name, by the way. I just kind of want to clarify that.
1:20:09Chip:No, because I just didn't know what to call it. Freak off is good. I like that. Yeah. Yeah. so we're going with which duo I don't think we really need the white boys here because we're going to debate most of these which duo would win in a tag team misfits boxing fight I never get tagged in but we kill that we absolutely smoke I do think you guys win
1:20:28Cal:because I think you put up a good shift he's a big boy you go to the gym right yeah and I'm 92
1:20:35Chip:what are you smother us smother us smother us we're not seeing any airtime right yeah no but the thing is this is what i'm saying is i would like chips like a rabid like a
1:20:49Cal:i actually could tire you out what's your cardio i would start by cardio is okay a couple calf bites
1:20:55Chip:yeah nah do you know what we i think we just get fucked up i think we actually all right you guys can have that one now which duo is more likely to end up in jail okay i think we know that one it's gotta be outside yeah i think it's i think it's fucking mischief what I mean, you guys met in a strip club and cologne. Yeah, exactly. That's not legal. Might have been a legal practice. And I don't think you're contributing much to that at all. No, it could be a public goon for a loaded vid, potentially.
1:21:19Cal:Yeah, he would be a loaded vid. A big load of it.
1:21:23Chip:Unloaded. Okay, this is definitely you guys, by the way. What duo is more likely to end up at a sex party? James, I have no doubt in my mind, you're a frequencer to a sex party. I've never been to a sex party, but I don't think I'd be opposed to being going to a sex life if you want to, if you say, if you put them together or I just don't know if I'm comfortable with that. Really, it's just up to you. Boundaries, I think that might be crossing a boundary between us, but I don't know. I don't know. It hasn't happened. Could be. I don't know. All right. So we all agreed it's you guys then. Yeah, maybe it could happen.
1:21:56Cal:I was very gay and I was up. I was into that.
1:21:59Chip:All right. Which duo is most likely to survive longest in a zombie?
1:22:04Cal:I feel like I've seen enough movies. No, you're useless. I'm literally playing a zombie game right now, bro. You see what I mean? All right. Would that give you, would that make you overconfident in the zombie scenario though? No, because then I remind myself of the body I have and be like, oh, I need to be underconfident because I've got a zombie body too. Also, I think I could disguise myself as one. That's not how that works. He, I think he looks after you and I think you lot win. No, no. But I don't think you can do anything worthwhile. The second E wants a proper meal and I've just fucking hoarded all the lunch leaves and lunchables across the world and I'm living off baked beans because I've been living off one for lifetimes no burgers no red 40 I genuinely think
1:22:38Chip:Chip is almost it would be a toss up between in our friendship group it would be a toss up between Harry and Chip for the two people I would want in a zombie apocalypse that's actually quite nice why are you taking him over Harry what's the argument no no I would say I'd probably take Harry but but I think Chip's probably a close second because and genuinely because of this the amount of gaming and shit this guy does like he's playing all the games he's watched last of us like five times or he knows what he's doing why would you pick harry what is it about heavy would just make shit happen like if things go south i would trust harry to to figure it out right and also like i'm not even joking when i say this like this guy could just like scale a tree like if i was there to him like mate get that grape off that branch where maybe not a great what grows on a tree get the bananas at the top there bro bananas on the tree yeah Get the bananas up there.
1:23:34Chip:And he would genuinely...
1:23:36Cal:Yeah, and then you get to a point where you both got to fit under a garage door and then what? What? Yeah, I'm squeezing it. Oh, wait, like, would he have to press X to the side? Yeah, to be fair, no, I am. No, I'm not taking him through it. Yeah, I'm too much of a diva. I think I would fuck with people else very quickly, yeah. But then if it's which duo, do we have to both be alive or will one of us die early? We would be together. Because I die quick. I die. I die. I die. I die. Those three dead. I reckon he's probably sniffing about somewhere under the shadows.
1:24:08Chip:Why have I looked like that? You see that edit as well? Yeah. I want to see Cal Freezy POV. He's in a zombie apocalypse. I think that would be a good. All right. Let's talk about something that I know James is very passionate about. I actually, I did do FPO last year. It was my first year of doing it. Yeah. I didn't do too badly. No, you beat a couple of the office regulars. Yeah. I did. Okay. Are you a football fan? Yeah. What's him? I don't have a, this is the thing i don't have a club but i do watch the premier league george clark yeah yeah you don't need it i like i like brighton i'll like enjoy it if brighton win things but then also i quite like crystal palace and their rivals so it's i kind of just like why do you like palace i don't know i really like ese i kind of go more for like players that i like to watch and then i'll go i'll watch their games just to see them play that's quite like an american ridiculous at fifa it's so annoying because i'm like you're not even that into football ridiculously really weird yeah like ridiculously good yeah you play it like often odd i still play clubs okay he runs clubs like the third right gets ridiculous if you're not like crashing at the right time we're genuinely all like you'll have a word or like let me pull you over we in our club we have someone he's called tommy and he's a welsh man and he will just berate you if you do anything wrong oh god he's like yeah he's the he's the captain of it all but um so this says will won the league yes last year fbl present him with his trophy finally yeah would you mind i've seen this clip right yeah and in there's a clip of this trophy you're like oh i thank you i'll take it yeah congratulations thank you man thank you but then you're also like i for will who's not my friend anymore yeah i just don't know what the context i was watching that because when i say stuff like that the clips do much better yeah because they go why they're not friends I feel like you're giving me the soft answer Mate if you weren't my friend Would I look at you like this Right
1:25:58Cal:Maybe Oh my god He says it all the time anyway He's a colleague Oh no it's actually I thought it was going to be soft
1:26:11If you weren't my friend
1:26:12Chip:Would I have actually gone on my way to buy that for you No you wouldn't How much was it So were you offended by the fact that I just tried to like clip farm a bit?
1:26:21Cal:Well, I was just like, I wonder what the context is. I wonder what I've done now. And did he go out of his way? No, he got served it on a TikTok shop. TikTok. No, it's thoughtful though. Yeah, he still thought of him.
1:26:32Chip:But how shit is it though? It's a bit shit. It's freely printed. You can tell.
1:26:35Cal:I think it's quite cool. Yeah, man. I think it's all right. I'd be happy with that. Where are you going to put it?
1:26:40Chip:Don't say that.
1:26:43Cal:There's a podcast set waiting for it. Good fit. You need one of them as well, right? You've won one. I have. What about you, Chip? I haven't won any. For next year's entrance, by the way, a few people haven't paid me the money for winning. So I feel like we don't let them in. Oh, if you're not paid. So I feel like we maybe don't let them play unless they play last year's entry thing. I think I have paid. How much do you make from it? £500 per person. Wow. Six grand. No, but I do agree with you. If anyone's not paid, they can't play. Yeah. Right? Yeah. You haven't paid. I have paid. You know what it is?
1:27:15Cal:I know what's happened. I don't use that anymore. There is a spelling error in your PayPal name. So I'm just waiting for it to come back and then I'll pay again. No, that's a really, is it just him? No, I would say that Theo definitely ain't. There's not like four or five. Keep a list on because that is a genuine thing. This is my first reminder I've had, so I will pay you, but you just got to. You know what? I normally pay on the fifth or sixth reminder. Who came last? JJ. JJ, Arthur and Theo. Arthur was last year.
1:27:47Chip:Let's discuss. Well, first of all, yeah, James, actually, would you be part of an FPL group like this? Or do you think one with forfeits? Probably not because I'm not that good at it. I enjoy it casually and I can take it seriously within my own realm. But as soon as money gets involved, I'll probably be like, yes, then it becomes a second job. Yeah. Cause I saw how seriously you were taking it. It was like, it's a whole thing. It's a weekend ruin her if it goes wrong for sure. I like spending like five to ten minutes on it, kind of going, oh, I might do this, I feel smart about that and then you go on and he's got like 200 points a week and he's like, great.
1:28:21Yeah, red sheets,
1:28:22Chip:bankrolling on speed dial, fucking. Anyways, we need to, we'd love your help here, you are a creative mind and we need to come up with three new forfeits for the next one. Now, I'll just quickly run you through a couple more and I think one is actually credited to Will here. Will, do you want to read out the one that you came up with? Was it that? It's all about... None of these... Was it not going around the world? Yeah. Oh, yes. Okay. So this one, right? We've had some really barbaric ones. This one was apparently a step too far. Fly around the world, but you've got to do it in economy. As soon as economy was mentioned, JJ went, that's way too fucking far.
1:29:02He did it. He'd take the fucking piss.
1:29:04Cal:Even Bazinga Pipe, someone said, I can't do that. Another one is sometimes, you know, when you're big on a player and they let you down? I thought, well, some of us thought you should get like a tattoo of their shirt with the name on the back or just their name. But I feel like that's pretty easy. I don't mind that. By the way, both of those, I think. You're like worst performer. Yes. Okay, cool. I actually really like that. That's something special about that.
1:29:25Chip:I think you could just have their name. You don't need the shirt and all that.
1:29:29Cal:I don't mind either of them, but the flying one, the only problem is it takes fucking actual ages. You've gone for a good, close to a week. The caveat is you can't make any content, so you can't gain anything back. It's just got to be torture. Arthur TV keeps scammed it and paid and vlogged the whole thing. It should be bad. I can't believe you guys like that. He made all of his money back. He had to spend 24 hours in a McDonald's. Every big Mac he ate was an hour off. With no phone, no books, nothing. And he did it. He did it. All three of them did it this year. The year before, there was only one for Calix, right?
1:30:05He didn't manage to do it. He had 12 TikTok dances to do and he never managed to do them. He did three of them. I remember seeing some of those TikTok dances. Yeah. Yeah. Honestly. He was getting hounded for them.
1:30:14Chip:Yeah. But the thing is, well, okay. That's kind of the point of the forfeit. But also if you do all 12, every single of those was doing like millions of views. One, you are getting content out of it. And two, like that was probably the most people had seen your face in a while. You was lucky going to viral a little bit, pal. He should have just kept going with it.
1:30:31Cal:For the credibility of the league, he was kicked. He was kicked. What are some other options for this year? 10 minutes standup comedy with the rest of the group. Nah, That is so overdone. That's literally the main thing. If you get the group to come up with the jokes and then you literally have a fresh script and when you stand up there, you're like, oh, it's so savage. But you don't know it before you go on. You don't have a clue what you're about to say. I think it could go terribly wrong because some people are going to write some. You are going to be on stage getting filmed, getting cancelled.
1:31:01Cal:Yeah, that's crazy. If I don't lose, I'm writing some fucking bad shit.
1:31:06Chip:Everyone gets two jokes each. We've got another one here. this one's definitely in my opinion too tame but it's uh loser must spend an entire saturday on spoons wearing a white shirt it was be a waiter for spoons like an unofficial one like going and
1:31:19Cal:picking up you're gonna you're gonna get kicked out you do one glass of white wine is an hour off as well fuck me that would be a lot of people in there that would very much treasure that you'd end up sitting down with some lobby in there i don't mind that hold on i don't mind that so instead
1:31:35Chip:of Mackie's Spoons Spoons And it's a white wine or a pint Mate Harry's out there before midday I think it's got to be a large glass of white wine because I think if you're doing the white shirt and black tie I think that has like a bit of class to it
1:31:48Cal:so I think doing it You're also probably looking forward to your time in there Not only that
1:31:53Chip:You're doing that on your own though It's not Yeah not only that so you're on your own but there could be a really good part of it which is obviously once you get to like the hour-ish that you think you're going to be done all the boys can rock up for a night out yeah and you're going home well yeah or well whenever you're gonna be done but you're gonna be there absolutely steaming yeah or you're just sat in a spoons for 24 hours with a bunch of people coming up to you asking for photos
1:32:19Cal:also if they've got a fruit machine in there it's locked off yeah you can't have it yeah we're making money that night it's a bit nice
1:32:27Chip:I need to go for a piss I'll be back okay
1:32:30Cal:I need one too but I'm trying to grow my bladder at the moment well no if you go to we'll just hold down the pod what yeah you go on you go we'll be a practice for the new pod alright cool you hold it down guys good luck go on get in and go on I found your pen by the way your pen's here so what would our podcast be called then would we make it about coffee would we yeah we could what's a pun we can do with rods yeah guys could it be like a brand rodcast the rodcast the rodcast the rodcast is good but yeah that's a bit easy though isn't it it is a bit like you are a bit more creative than that yeah I'm working on it I do like that.
1:33:05Would we do it in Brighton? Because then I'd go to Brighton and then you'd come up here. I'd actually quite like that. Shit, they've left us and now we're just working it out. Yeah. We've got to say, we've got to keep saying this. They're going to take this away anyway. Yeah, I was going to say, we're losing all leverage. Cut this and don't show them that either. Stop zooming in. Stop it right now. I do like the eye contact. Yeah, eye contact's fine. Before they, no, I'm going to steal something and they'll not. Is there anything of sincere value in here? Nothing? Do you want to steal? That's okay.
1:33:33You nicked my mic.
1:33:35Chip:What? Oh, there you go. There you go. Thank you, mate. Appreciate it. Has he rubbed this mic on his nuts? No, no. I didn't see anything like that. That's what I would have done. Oh, wait. Have we swapped mic? Are we... Hello? It'll be the same. Is that bad? Is that bad?
1:33:51Cal:What would that do?
1:33:52Chip:I don't know. He's got a different sentence on him. Yeah, different voice correction.
1:33:55Cal:Yeah, because I speak more soft than... Yeah. Do you ever pitch your voice down early doors of YouTube? I'm still doing it now. Audacity voiceovers Modify Bass boost Plus three
1:34:08Chip:I used to just get Absolutely fried Just so it sounds A bit more basic Over my Call of Duty
1:34:14Cal:Commentaries Oh what Oh pitch it down Like make it actually Go deeper Oh never did that Mine was quite bad Sorry I think that would just Isolate the squeakiness As well though If you were to do that It would just be more obvious It would be uncanny Will don't sound happy about that
1:34:28Chip:Yeah Will doesn't like The next segment Well I've just read A bullet point All the bullet point Says is Will misses battle. Right. Well, let's get into a game of true or false. Let's go. Like a, I imagine when you said true or false, I imagine like a theme tune coming in. Do you mind just giving us a quick jingle, mate? No, I'm not going to. Oh, I did a good bin, bad bin jingle that he refuses to keep in the videos because of what time. Oh,
1:34:55Cal:I'll take that. Oh,
1:35:01that's so funny. I'll get the right to it. Good basket, bad basket. Yeah, what did you, anyway.
1:35:07Chip:All right, okay, we're going to play a quick game of true or false. Will, we'll start off with this top one here. Will, we've read in our research that you made 750K dollars from fake Mr. Beach, Mr. Beach, Mr. Beach merch on a video. Is that true or false? That's absolutely not true. No, it's just a nice little ending for a short. Did you make any money? No, no, absolutely not. Not at all. We didn't want to make one sale. I feel like you're saying this, because you know Mr. Beast lawyers are there like, how much did you read more? No, I can't remember the short. What happens in the short? I remember wearing it in front of him.
1:35:40Yeah. It banged. Oh, and him complimenting it, but it's - Oh yeah. He's like, yeah, I rocked up to him with this terrible, terrible shirt and he didn't - The third search is Will and James being gay.
1:35:57Chip:That's not the official one. To be fair, they probably just re-uploaded it. Top middle. So you see there, I made this terrible t-shirt rocked up and he went, Oh, you've got the merch on. He didn't clock at all. Oh my God. So we're filming this, whatever. And then yeah, just made it. We actually did make a website and shit, but nobody, nobody bought one. I thought you were wearing one, six, five, had it there as well? There it is. Oh yeah. Come on. Maybe it shouldn't have been fifth. I don't know. No, I'm not even, I'm okay let's move on to the next one then which is james you have oh yeah you have an unreleased song with will on it no i i don't i don't i think it played a really funny bit well no i did i did for a while i just don't think you realized i was betting out for ages that on my one of the latest songs that he was he has like an ad lib yeah so this is why i genuinely thought this is true yeah no because people have been like posting like parts of the song trying to find where he is Can we not do that?
1:36:59Can I not have that in one of them? Absolutely you can. You can. Next time I'm in studio, come on. And I could just be like, I don't know, I'm a little... Bend it, James? Yeah, crazy. All right, yeah. What type of thing could it be, though? Yeah, you could do a backing vocal. You could. What other things? Could I play an instrument on it? No, no, no. Okay. No, no, no.
1:37:20Chip:Have you ever appeared on stage at a show? No. No. Oh, I could be like, you know, in role model when he brings the girl out. Can I be Sally? Yeah. Oh, yes. Yeah. Who's the Sally for the show? We could do the Juno position. No. Oh, the Juno position would definitely work between the two. No. It would just be every single one. Right. I don't know what that is. But you are in a music video, which you don't like talking about. Oh my God. Yeah. They sold me dreams. So I get a text. So is all the director? Yeah. Always the director. So he texted me. I'm like, oh, James is doing a music video. Did it.
1:37:52We're going to dress you up. Could you Google Fabio the model? Is it Fabio? I don't know Fabio model yeah this guy right they're like we're gonna dress you up like this guy okay could you you leave me at the jawline I see what they're going for yeah I can see it could you now what's the what was the music something's wrong yeah if you go on YouTube something's wrong let's see if you can pull it off something's wrong I just look androgynous
1:38:18Cal:I meant Stanley Googling it let's see right there I am bottom left whoa oh my god you got that shit on no bro They just got put in a denim shirt and was asked to look like this massive in the towards the end of the first verse. There's like a reveal shot. So if you go like just a little bit into the video, like a tiny bit. Yeah. Go there. Go there. Go there.
1:38:44That is brilliant. Really Zoolander. It's great. Yeah. No, that is good. That is good. I just look like a woman in skinny jeans. Yeah. You do. Terrible.
1:38:54Chip:that's such a good boy yeah it's good though he did well so that's as as closest to being on a tune yeah you've actually been i'll try and probably get you on a music video every album now but it was a long day right was a long day that's what you gotta do for me on all those um the next one i feel like we've already had the answer to is uh will mrs basil true yeah Is this your audition for full time? This is it. You just went, yeah. You just wanted to know. I need a clip, man. Yeah, man. That one's good out there. I was saying to the boys, do you reckon he would recognize me if we... Absolutely he would.
1:39:32How long does he think the dogs forget Evan, right? I don't think they ever do, yeah. Because you always see those clips of like... The eight-year-old dogs where they find them. The military and he's come back from the military. Whoa, whoa.
1:39:43Chip:Herb, have you seen Herb recently? I'm telling you, bro. These dogs, unless you have a bit of food on them, then they'll give a shit about you. What? No, I think that's your dog. They're brothers. Yeah, I know, but he's, they're very different. Yeah, they are different. Very different. He won't even give a shit about you. Yeah. Next one is, James has wanted to quit the second channel. We're going to scrap me and you. No. Yes. Yes. That's false. Yeah. I'm looking away. You can still answer. I'm not. No. No. He's told the truth. He's told the truth. He's told the truth. He's told the truth. year and we we've like got what like eight shoots we're doing over the next month or something to prepare in advance finished so yeah and it's it's like i just genuinely really enjoy it it's good fun where you going on to amit america uh canada the uk and europe can people still buy tickets for some of them where where if i wanted to buy a ticket where would i source a ticket you would go to james barry music.com and then be able to find it there yeah but uk's gone and then europe there's a few left, but in America, there's a few left.
1:40:47Our little superstar. What has been your favorite venue? Ooh, there's a place called, I think it's called the forum in Melbourne. That was amazing. It's like, I think it's like 1 ,400. The forum in Melbourne.
1:40:58Chip:No, that's where we went. And was it AJ Tracy performing? Oh, I think it might have been. Yeah, I think. Oh no. How do you spell it? How do you spell it? How do you spell it? How do you spell it? I think it was the forum. UM. Although the M.O.R.E. Theatre as well in Sydney is really nice. And what was it? The venue you loved? Or you loved doing the show? I mean, Melbourne is just amazing. Melbourne. Oh, this. Is that it? No, it wasn't. Melbourne. The Forum Melbourne.
1:41:25Cal:You've got to type in the city. Otherwise, it could have brought up anything. It could have brought up 4chan. All sorts. Here we are. Wait, you played that? Yeah. Oh, that is it, right? Yeah, that is it. Yeah, that was four spots. Was it that one? That's like a mega. Oh no, I think this is one that we're playing next time. Ooh! There was another one. Whatever the venue was in Melbourne, it was really good. Because Melbourne's just an amazing city and then we were there in December so it was like summer. Yeah. And then when you're away from the UK during December, any sun is just like, this is the best.
1:41:52And Melbourne's just one of my favourite cities in the world, so I'd say that. And then we're playing Barrowlands in Glasgow later this year and that's meant to be amazing. And Glasgow's an amazing city to play shows. The venue, Barrowlands. Barrowlands, yeah. What is it? Can we see it? It's like a really... The whole floor is bouncy. So like people can jump. Barrowlands. The full floor is what? Barrow, so B-A-R-R-O-W. I see what you mean. Barrowlands. Barrowlands. There it is. So the whole floor is bouncy. So it's meant to be really good for like rock shows because everyone will just be jumping.
1:42:29Chip:Oh wait, not like a trampoline. In my head everyone's got one big trampoline. A little bit. Like it's kind of got like genuinely the stage will kind of be bouncing. That's a brilliant logo. That's sick. Yeah, and then it's like, it's a really iconic Glaswegian venue. So it's kind of like the Academy venue to play in Glasgow, supposedly. Love that to you. That sounds sick. Yeah, really excited for that. So when is it that you've got this three month break from the channel? Yeah. Well, because we'll still be uploading because of the amount we're doing over the next month. And then there might be a world in which you come out and visit where I am as well.
1:42:58Then honestly, I probably would do that. Yeah.
1:43:01Chip:So Australia's in this. So no, we're doing a month in America back then doing a month in the UK and doing two weeks in Europe straight after that sick and then probably Australia next year Australia New Zealand hopefully again August alright and finally I mean we've touched on this a little bit but good to just get a final word on this Will and James to start a podcast I don't know why he hates podcasts so much no we're gonna get demonetized stop this stop this stop this our first live one we did it we have loads of pre-recorded ones They normally wait until it's over. All right, let's move on to the final part of this.
1:43:37Chip:We've got a couple of couples. Okay, okay, okay. So we'll talk about this. I've got a Roald Dahl book there. All right. Well, we'll have... James, you've probably got a nice voice to listen to if you wouldn't mind reading this one out. My boyfriend is a goofball. There's no way around it. We've not slept together, but he's been staving over for a few nights a week. He stays over since my place is much closer to his work. I woke up this morning and he was already up. It's my standard thing to check my cat's litter box on Thursday morning. this morning there was a huge poo I'd seen something years ago about Brad Pitt doing this to one of his friends so I knew it wasn't the cat I wasn't amused and made him clean it up he realised his prank had bombed badly and apologised profusely I really like him but I just don't know if I could get over the fact that he actually squatted over a place in my house that wasn't the toilet and let a poop come out I just don't know what to say So he's shat in the letterbox The cat's just looking at him I've been saying this is great for ages Someone's finally taken it on.
1:44:33Oh my God. Imagine the hunk. It's lucky funny though. No, it's not. Because a good cat litter will stop the smell. Do you think they're the problem for not running with the joke and like kind of like... No, if someone did that to me, I'd be... If someone's shouting not to... You know what though?
1:44:47Cal:It's all about perspective. Society has convinced us that we need to shit in this toilet. But like... Not really. We can shit where we want. What's the difference between a cat shit and a human shit? In a hundred years, no one will remember this. but is it the visual thing i think it's a size thing right and maybe the visual smell the stench would be no because a good cat litter will will stop that from smelling what a big old thing a big human and a good cat that'll hold a good human poop yeah you can get uh little robots these days if you put in one of those you never know you know too much about us yeah i have a cat
1:45:26Chip:on a serious note if somebody had come around and shatting your cat's litter box like would you go nah oh yo darren you're actually jokes man that was funny or would you be there like darren why have you shat i think i'd be more concerned i'd be more concerned about the person that did it i think i'd you know get the empathy card out they also are like leaving it for you to clean up like there's an implication there he's not coming back around from the sort of himself so he's it's like I've shat in a litter box and you're picking up my shit. That's probably too. You gotta leave a note there. Yeah.
1:45:55A cat will bury its shit. So I guess if there was a bit of kind of, if they made a point afterwards of, you know, doing the right thing and burying it, then maybe there would be a bit more grace. Right, I see.
1:46:06Chip:That is more like a treasure hunt, like where have I shat? I'm just saying it'll be easier to clean. But if it was just like a shit that was just on top of it, there's not much decor in that. Is this a deal breaker in a relationship? That's what we want to know. I'm not going to lie. Honestly, I'm in the position to be turning that down at this point.
1:46:22Cal:Yeah, it's a tough one to answer, really. It's rough.
1:46:25Chip:I'm going to say it's a deal breaker for me. I'm sorry. I think it's a deal breaker. If you'd just come and just shout. I can look past that. There's goofball and then there's shits around my house, you know.
1:46:35Cal:It's all subjective humor. Yeah. Yeah, if I want to have sex. Right, Will, give us the next one. Okay. My boyfriend recently started sleep talking and every single night he whispers, good night, Jennifer. My name's not Jennifer I asked him who Jennifer is And he swears he has no idea Now I'm lying awake at 3am Wondering if I'm in a relationship with him Or his dream wife What should I do? What could he be saying that isn't Jennifer That maybe she's confusing for? Jennifer? Jennifer's buddy? Conifer He might be a big thing of fern plants Yeah, yeah, yeah Maybe he has one by his bed Yeah, it could be No
1:47:10Chip:Jennifer's a pretty tough one to get out of I don't think I think he Yeah, he's But at the same time Could Jennifer be Like a dog that he has in his dream. Oh, that's a good point. Or like a parrot. How often do you say goodnight to your pets though? Literally every night. And in particular. Okay, I wasn't a direct pet to you. That is tough. That is real tough. Out of a window.
1:47:31Cal:Yeah. All of us like. Screaming to the sky. He's not fucking dead, mate. Just not with you. Sorry. Sorry, Will. All right, Will, we can get a beer after this. I know a good pop
1:47:49Chip:Oh fuck's sake Yeah I'm not gonna lie What should you do I don't know I think He's just dreaming he can't control his dreams Give him a chance to be honest about it No but even then it's all like even if he is genuinely honest He's like nah I have no idea or like I don't know You're just gonna go nah that's a bitch That's some bitch Who's that bitch It depends also he's whispering it but he's not like whimpering it You know I think that would be worse that would be worth it like you didn't have to do that you didn't but it's like I appreciate you trying to just get it across what I meant by that because if that's the case that's probably not a dog and if it is a dog then you're definitely unless you're you know whimpering like a dog and then in which case it might be you just trying to connect with him in a way okay or her sorry all right yeah what should you do I think you should probably leave it I think you should Jennifer's fine yeah I think this is a fine if you hear although like yeah if you hear Jennifer, you're trying to get this dick?
1:48:47Then...
1:48:47Chip:Yeah, that's a bit much. That's the rest of it. Especially if it's about a dog. Hold up.
1:48:54Cal:All right, Chip, give us the last one here then. This is crazy. I caught my boyfriend sharing Uber pools, which is shared Uber, with random girls on purpose. He claims it's just cheaper and you meet interesting people. Last week, one of them tagged him in a TikTok when your Uber driver third wheels your date. Is this in the opening? That's kind of crazy, by the way. I've done UberPool once and it is very weird why? what happens? you get in and somebody else gets in on your journey oh and like it's just like did you talk to them? you alright like you can what was their name? I don't know it was about 8 years ago it was with Roman Kemp I think oh yeah sorry I'll just pick that off the floor what is it?
1:49:30little name drop yeah I don't know you and Roman were you with him or did he just randomly turn up in the UberPool I think me and him
1:49:40Cal:were just having we were like fuck we'll get an UberPool it's funny sorry sorry I didn't need to I actually didn't need to name drop that because I run in these days
1:49:48Chip:oh shit so I've never gotten an Uber pool it sounds like my worst nightmare like social anxiety has got to fear that whole situation I went to a restaurant last week called Dan Lenoir it's a restaurant that's completely dark like everyone that works there is I think every way to the works there is visually impaired or blind and so you essentially you have like a like a experience of just eating completely in the dark and nothing can really prepare you for it. But they make a point of sitting you in these like areas where there's two other couples and you basically just chat to people that you don't know.
1:50:23Oh, that sounds horrible. Yeah. And it's like, it was actually because you have to, you don't have like the body language of being turned away from someone and like making it very visually obvious. Like, I don't want to speak with you. You kind of have to speak to the people that are next to you. And I just made a couple of mates.
1:50:37Chip:It was great. I went to that. And in the first five minutes, I was on the verge of a panic attack. Yeah, it's very intense. It's very, nothing can prepare you for it. You think, oh, this is going to be an interesting experience. Then you're in there and you're like, oh, wait, it is completely. Will you fuck it up? Knife and fork. Yeah, because, well, you haven't had it before, but you, they're like, where is everything? Yeah. And it gets a bit messy. But the thing that you just doesn't prepare for is, naturally, when we go into a dark room and say to begin with, you just can't see anything, naturally, your eyes adjust and you might start to be able to see outlines of things.
1:51:06Chip:When you're in there, I promise you can't see a thing. Yeah, you can't. You might see a tiny light, which is like an exit light. But even then, that's just not even really a thing. And it's terrifying for the first five minutes. And everybody I tell go there. Like, after those five minutes, you'll have a really cool experience. The foods, whatever. But the actual experience itself is sick. Just be prepared for the first five minutes to want to leave immediately. Yeah, yeah. There was that kind of like fight or flight kicks in. In the five minutes, you're like, I'm not used to this. I want to leave.
1:51:36And then there was someone who was meant to sit next to me. and they were just like, the waiter came up and said like, oh, they came in and they just didn't want to sit down. They didn't like your vibe. Yeah. There was a stench. I can't see,
1:51:46Chip:but I can smell. I'm getting it. Feeling here. So do you think he's doing this to meet Lasses? Because, but the thing is, it sounds like you already got in with her when it's like, third wheel's your date. It's an unusual one to die on that hill.
1:51:58Cal:You don't choose who's in it with you. Yeah, but you just wouldn't die on that hill, I reckon. Like, if they were like, I don't want you doing that, you'd just be like, no. Yeah, Yeah, yeah, yeah. You just are sacking it. You just start having an affair in secret. Yeah. Yeah. And that's more like what's going on. This is a very interesting way to disguise the fact that you're... He probably thought he had it and now he's made it fucking even worse. But like you're never alone with the person. So it's not really... It can't be that bad. Like you can't do much when the Uber driver's there. Like it's pretty safe for her.
1:52:24Chip:Yeah. And also it's random every time. It's not like... Like there's a good chance that just another bloke gets in. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So I'm not too sure. I think it's fine. I can tell him to ditch the Uber pools, but I don't think, I don't think it's like a deal breaker. It's just a thrifty. How much more expensive is just the normal. You're asking the wrong guy bro. Yeah. You've done it.
1:52:48Cal:Eight years ago. I wasn't financially different. Yeah. Times have changed. I could see Mikey do. Times have changed. We've got a podcast now, which you guys could have too.
