In short
The Fellas Podcast episode centers on Chazza (NYK Chazza) and the Bov Boys’ recent success and plans: earnings talk, getting arrested (suspicion of criminal damage up to £30,000), TikTok Shop/streaming income, fitness/weight loss (“locked in” one-meal-a-day approach), and behind-the-scenes production for Bov Boys content. They also discuss Guinness World Records for a “world’s longest podcast” idea, plus creator event concepts and gaming/streaming routines.
Guests
NYK Chazza (Chazza) is a Bov Boys member and variety streamer (FIFA background, now Rocket League and other games). Other speakers are the hosts/regulars: AB, Chip, and Cal (and they reference Jakey Davies, Taze, Ginger, Hines, Danny, Theo, Lara as a producer/assistant, and others from Bov Boys).
Key claims
Bov Boys scaled from uploading twice weekly to more manageable one-weekly; “Bovmas” was planned as daily but involved filming ~34 videos in a few days. They’re launching Bov Boys Live (one big IRL group stream weekly edited to YouTube) and a gaming channel (e.g., Minecraft Mondays). Chazza says he lost 17kg in six weeks via strict dieting, and he’s “locked in” again. Guinness may require reclassification depending on livestream rules; quoted cost for branding/record paperwork is ~£12.5k.
Notable examples
TikTok Shop Victoria sponge “meal deal” boxes; a TikTok drink-selling account with “60,000 items sold”; Chazza’s “Chazmas/Chasoween” stream traditions; Michelin star origin story; Bov Boys Live trampoline park; Rocket League average concurrent counts (about 1.5 with Gingy, ~3 without).

1:50Cal:Fucking insane, bro. What? I never heard of a calorie deficit. Fucking horrible. He fucking has it. That's fucking horrible. You actually are horrible.
1:56Chip:That's fucking horrible. And just because I'm suffering with my body image doesn't mean he should be as well.
2:00Cal:Yeah, you're a mean guy. I will go with heavy.
2:03Chip:Oh. Okay. I will go with tonnage.
2:06Cal:What does that mean? What does that mean? Like if you say, oh, how many tonnage? Guys, welcome to the stage.
2:12Chip:It's NYKK.
2:14Cal:Wow. Let's fucking go, guys. No, thanks for coming, mate. Thank you for coming. Thank you for coming on down, Breeski. Them words obviously touch me. Thank you very much. Thank you. We're used to doing that to our guests. Yeah, Jakey did tell me actually about that. What the hell? Jakey's probably the one we'd avoid.
2:35Chip:Yeah. You know, it's actually interesting. we've started building like a blacklist of guests at the studios. These are people that underperform for us. And Jake was one of the first on there. What is he?
2:45Cal:I thought Jakey was okay. He's lying. He's just trying to be hateful for no reason. Leaving that behind last year. Numbers. Jakey Davies and Heinz did numbers. That was all Heinz already, wasn't it?
2:55Chip:Yeah, there'd be no carry job. Yeah. Well, actually, there were so many comments. They like had to turn off the pod. Didn't understand a word. Which is unfortunate. Yeah, you do need subtitles with him sometimes. But once you get, I feel like once you have like two, three months of him, you like you can understand him do you reckon he might lose his accent from living with you boys nah it's too late I think maybe yeah I think it is too late when he has like a few drinks all of a sudden you just don't understand the word he said like he goes holy word holy word and you're like alright what did you say what the fuck are you on we don't know what you're on about but carry on but yeah it's great to have you here I must say when you walk past you smell amazing oh thank you very much yeah
3:32Cal:I'll smell you later it's that new oud oh you fuck we're gonna get more clips now aren't we Oh, the TikTok shop. Every TikTok shop. Does he like to buy multi-beat? It's like, yeah, it kind of is. It's like Ood Makaraja. It's by Mason Cervelli. Oh, no. You've just done the full TikTok shop. No, that's AB's one. No, it isn't. This one's not on TikTok shop. It's AB's one, Mason Cervelli.
3:55Chip:All right, let's get out there. Let's let the people know. Guys, if you want to smell like Chaz and AB, grab it. That is a nice fragrance.
4:03Cal:Oh, stop. It's really nice as well. Have you seen the new blackjack and fruit salad offers? No, stop. No, no, that's crazy. Fucking mortgages.
4:14Chip:Let me tell you, I did a video. I don't know whether it's going to be out. Chip was part of it, but now thinking about it, you would have been a good person to have in the video where I just tried loads of TikTok shop food. I was actually pleasantly surprised with some of the scran on there. Like that bakery level stuff was coming out.
4:28Cal:Yeah, it was okay. It wasn't. You can order cakes. You can order everything. Yeah. Like we were having Victoria, spoiler alert, Victoria sponge sandwiches that come in like the classic judge's ham sandwich box.
4:38Chip:Like a meal deal. Like a meal deal box. It was unreal.
4:40Cal:But it was a Victoria cake bread and cake. That's fucking brilliant. I can't believe it. Surely that's got to be a quick turnaround.
4:47Chip:Yeah. One to two day turnaround. That's what I was thinking. This isn't holed up in a warehouse. So it wasn't stale or anything like that. It's actually homemade. I might start selling shit on there. That's unreal. Have you heard about the people that make just absolute coin from TikTok shop? And all they do every day is either go live or just make videos like the really corny things where they're like oh there's an error in the pricing and stuff and like we're all there laughing like wow you're such a dickhead like this looks like such shit content yeah the commission is printing the commission's meant to be crazy i think they get like some people get like 20 per item so imagine you sell something for eight quid that's one pound 60 yeah and then multiple people buy it you're just printing yeah like sometimes you'll click on a product and it tells you how many have sold there they're like 60 ,000 items I've sold and you're like, what?
5:32Yeah. I always see this one guy. I don't know if you've seen him. He's like, I'll tell you, he's about 40 and he walks over and he goes, this is the best drink I've ever had. And I'm like, you've had 17 of these this week. I can't believe he just does that for everything. Yeah, American. He's got Japanese Red Bulls.
5:51Cal:He's got the entire catalog. I saw a tweet today about potentially new best drink on the market and it's, I'm just going to promote it. Fuck it. Dr. Pepper cream soda Zero sugar The tweet had banged But the tweet was quote retweeted Multiple other tweets All calling this Like The goat drink Drink of like the decade So I need to go out there And try this Where's this America? I imagine It must be
6:14Chip:Was it not?
6:15Cal:But it was a zero sugar drink Which is surprising Because you know Americans Just all fucking
6:20Chip:Obese Yeah Right that seems like A generalization It was
6:25Cal:I don't think
6:26Chip:It didn't seem like one
6:27Cal:It was let's not fuck around brass tacks and all that brass tacks what's that I feel more a place in America when I go there like I just look around I'm like oh you know what it's not that bad you are not that big bro you've lost weight though you're looking good Nick you know you really do I've had to it got to a point it was we did a Sidemen video it was like the first one we did in August I remember watching the video back and I was like oh my god I need to sort myself out and what you just went out a little bit of generational diet yeah I just yeah I don't know what it was especially when I had I had locked in coming up as well I was like right I've got like six weeks now to lock in and then I lost like 17kg before I went on lock in
7:09Chip:in six weeks yeah like I was doing it very like so what I was doing I was just doing like one meal a day like one meal a day which is that really like good horrible but it's yeah it worked it was weird because I was pretty much eating what I wanted so I was just having Nando's every day but like I was still losing weight and then I come out of locked in and I had like a few weeks off. I think I put like five pounds back on. I was like, right, I need to get back on it now. And ever since then, I've just been locked in. But I've been eating a lot better though. Chicken and rice box. Yeah. Oh, you know.
7:39He knows the law. The one I put in the chat. He knows the law.
7:42Cal:It's a little bit different. This little box. It comes, by the way, so much. You get so much in one box. Oh yeah, the rice. But you'll eat them on stream sometimes and I was like, oh, I'll be typing in chat that. I'm going to have to get one now, mate. Hoping for a reply. just a little can I get a mod

7:55Chip:just send you 10k bits
7:56Cal:Chazza please
7:58Chip:have you are you not jumping on the Zen pick no to be fair like with with a Zen pick it was weird because it was actually something I thought about yeah that's the level that like it got to really in my head I was like right I need to sort it and then I was like no I just I feel like once you did go down that route yeah I feel like there's no return so you're very young as well like you saw that yeah I feel like once you go down that route there's no return so it's also there's no point taking it now you're way slimmer now so the kind of the factors don't even really run i'm not really they're not actually that funny now yeah it was weird obviously it was like the gig wasn't it at the start of like both boys because i think i don't know it was just because i feel like with bob boys especially we're like that classic group of mates from school like we have jakey's like the awkward one socially um tasey's like like the looker boy like he's the and then you have like chubby kid i've met him for the first time when I went to film a video with these boys.
8:50Chip:I actually, you know how you just like clock out? I clocked out in the middle of a bit.
8:55Cal:Looking at Taze. His eyes. His eyes.
8:57Chip:His eyes. His eyes. Have you ever looked at his eyes?
8:58Cal:No, they are nice. He's nice. They are nice. Anyone with blue eyes is so lame. Yeah, I was thinking that's exactly the way you process others. Wait, I don't know. I'm saying no, Chaz. We can make you have blue eyes. I got nice eyes. We gave you blue eyes in one of the thumbnails recently, actually.
9:15Chip:You know, bro, let me just actually just chat on a serious one. about so I decided to walk into the office today see when I'm on my one there's no dog to fuck me off while I'm walking as well so I just got like pure bliss 40 minutes of just peace yeah yeah tunes on do you know I was thinking I was there like obviously I'm gonna have to do your best man speech yeah I was thinking about like what I'm gonna say in it yeah yeah so I've I figured it out I've done the whole speech in my head I know what it is um and I just I this is probably a conversation for off the pod but I need to know where the boundaries are because I've got a few You can't do drug related jokes.
9:47Chip:You can't do any of them.
9:48Cal:No drug related jokes. My family's too religious to be pulling. I think you'd, you'd potentially get like some scoffs and stuff. Oh really? Would I get? Nah, my mom would be like, why is he saying that? Well, if you give him like code words.
10:00Chip:Well, he's obviously lying. He's just, he's done it to whip up the crowds. It's just a big thing. He's ruining it like this. Yeah. I want to make sure I don't ruin it. You see? You can just give them like code words or something. You can give them keywords that some people know and then they don't know. Okay. So I'll call it like, is your mom going to know like a big bag of white mountain of snow.
10:17Cal:Used to be a friend, bro. She was knowing exactly what you're going on about. White Christmas is enough. Yeah. All right. Okay. She's going to know. She's going to know. Keep it civil and respectful. No, I will. What's going on? Why you got chocolate all over you? Yeah. Fucking scruff.
10:31Chip:Do you want to know what my, it's up here. Do you want to know what, I actually saw that before I left the house and I looked at it and I, this is genuinely what went through my head. I said like, look, I need to be the most presentable. like I'm going into my office I want other people to take care and pride in how they look and then I just walked out I was horrible wearing them look me and Chaz
10:52Cal:have wrapped up in nice club yeah I've walked out in my JD track suit
10:55Chip:I feel like you
10:55Cal:are kind of always wearing the same fit yeah but it's like a classic it's a staple yeah they call it the Chaz a default don't go wrong yeah but that's easier I think if you're just rocking up in the same shit and it's just like I don't need to think about it yeah I just wear like the same track suits in different colours really I feel like that's like just my go to and then sometimes I like to explore my horizons and I just look in the mirror and go, oh. But now it has to be from JD. Yeah, it does have to be from JD. We love JD. That's class, by the way. Well done. I saw like all the billboards and stuff.
11:23Cal:It's so mental seeing you up there, but it's even crazier that Jakey Davis is there.
11:28Chip:Why? Just because he's talking with him. Stop that, man. Now I'm hating on him, man.
11:33Cal:You know how I met Jakey and now he's up there on the billboard and I'm just like, how has this happened? I was doing a Fortnite. Ginger texted me like, oh, can we use Fortnite? and he's gone oh you'll be with me I'm like yeah sure I don't mind I'll fuck around with Ginge for a few hours and last minute he goes nah you're gonna be one of my mates I'm not playing I was like alright fine he's like you'll be with this I called Jakey and at this time Jakey's pulling maybe 300 views on Twitch maybe less and I go in there and he was so fucking soundbottled he was like this guy's a fucking moron I remember messaging you in a good way you just reminded me I remember messaging you
12:06Chip:asking you like oh how was that thing and you're there like oh I ended up playing with Ginge's mate was so sound. That's what you said. It wasn't that long ago. Never at that point
12:15Cal:was I thinking, oh, this guy's going to blow up. I think that was probably like... And he did. What the fuck? I think it was crazy. It just shows that sometimes they can just catch you off guard. Even the ones you think that will never make it can make it. Yeah, because it's Max. A lot of people don't realise I met Jake in March last year. Like that's when we... March 24? 25. Met him in person. I met him online. online in March wow that would have been around similar time yeah it was really weird to be fair so like we obviously had like a group we always played games with on stream and then I went to I went on holiday come back and Jakey was playing with us and then that's how he like sort of got in with the boys he's the funniest oh mate I'm letting you know now he is the funniest he's not good he has mastered awkwardness he's like you know The Office yeah he's literally someone out of The Office like he's got he's got the best fever he's really good no one we're never we're gonna struggle he was nominated for Clip of the Year at Fellas.
13:12Cal:The trans one. Was it trans? You know what? Ginge also played a good part of that clip. Yeah, yeah. He plays like the dad character in a lot of the IRLs. Yeah. In a trans. How was the Bob Boy stuff going? Oh, mate, it is genuinely just mental. Like, we thought it would do well, but like, we did not think it would reach like the sort of level it has. Like, it's been, yeah, it's absolutely whirlwind. like seeing that stuff with JD and especially like filming with like, I think I said it to you actually the other day, like filming with a lot of people like who we all grew up watching and we are like all other than ginger really still quite very new to it.
13:51So it's yeah, honestly it's just an absolute whirlwind and just long way to continue really. Yeah. I mean, I was watching, we spoke about it when we were up there,
13:59Chip:but I don't know if you know this, but they were uploading two times a week at one point. Like to be able to do high quality videos two times a week. well as you found out is near impossible while continuing doing your own stuff as well of course um but then since you've been going to one a week you found it a lot more manageable right yeah i feel like we just needed to like upscale a lot of the video ideas as well like i feel we were just doing a lot of like concepts but not fulfilling them properly and then obviously with jinge on the jungle i was unlocked in we had like and then we did a thing called bovmas as well which wasn't a disaster it still did really well but what people don't know it was meant to be a video every day in December.
14:37And what we did is we tried to film, I think it was like 34 videos in free ones. Jesus Christ. So it was absolute carnage, like absolute carnage. Most of the Bothmas videos got filmed in one day, which was like the day before I went into lockdown. So I think we filmed seven videos in one day. It was just mental. So into the new year, we're like, right, we need to make sure the videos are better, better ideas, one video. And then that's what the avenue we sort of went down. But yeah, it was carnage. before new year has it been getting in the way of streaming do you think it was when we were doing
15:10Cal:that much yeah but now it's okay it's a bit but balanced now yeah i don't know like with us a lot especially with streaming like it's just very like natural like if i go home i'm like i'm just gonna stream but i don't think i'm gonna chill i feel like my brain's just always like switched i'm like oh we need to stream i think a lot of the boys are like that other than taze really he doesn't stream but yeah yeah we're all very heavy streamers so no that's well i think that's
15:32Chip:like that's got to be the usp here because obviously you got beta squad you got sidemen they kind of have a a choke hold on um youtube content that's not to say that no one else like but like the whole reason why bob boys is sick and i think is because you guys can just smash it on the stream inside of things even just like some of the ideas that the other boys will never do and also like you guys are the ones that when i was up filming with you guys i remember just thinking like it's sick how much energy everybody has because yeah again with the sidemen boys they've been doing it for fucking 15 years or whatever the um beta squad like they've all been doing their stuff for a while now whereas you guys you have the energy and when you have energy to do that like you can the possibilities are pretty much endless as long as you're willing to put the time and effort in can make some sick stuff yeah like can't obviously say what we did but the video we did that was one of my favorite videos we've done yeah like it was it was so so good it was honestly unreal um but with the streaming theory you guys trying to get like one stream a month where all of you are in together or how many streams are you trying to get done yeah so so we just launched um bov boys live so we're doing basically one big group irl a week that will then get edited into a youtube format and then then put on the channel because i feel like we we all do our irls but like we all do them quite a lot separately jacoby with hines or i'll do one with jinge um and like it's hard to get everyone sort of there but with that's what i mean with the new channel now we have a chance where we can all be together is it launch
16:58Cal:I saw it actually go out as in like you announced a channel. Have you got a video out on it yet? There is one being done for, we did a trampoline park. Oh yeah? I don't know if you saw any of the clips, but it was so funny. It was, it was honestly hilarious. But yeah, we've got a lot of big plans. I think, I don't know if I should say, but gaming as well. Yeah. We've started a gaming channel where we're doing like Minecraft Mondays and I can't believe how good Taze MCR is at Minecraft. Really? He is honestly, he's ridiculous. Wait, I didn't realize you can be good at Minecraft. Yeah, you can. yeah oh yeah Danny's pretty good I remember Danny Aaron's is all right it's more of a knowledge thing if you know how to do stuff and get it done fast and then yeah fine yeah he's a joke I'm terrible I never played it it's not my forte at all but you're building like a nice team around
17:43Chip:it because when I went up there you obviously had a producer there and is that something because um you know you look at these other groups like they build pretty mega teams around it are you guys looking to do a similar thing or how's that gonna work yeah we've got like a team for me now it's actually like really good well we have a woman uh lady called lara she's the best shout out lara without her we're good hands off no one that takes our lara lara's the top so but no yeah i feel like we've got like a lot of people who are there at every shoot now is at the start of it a lot of it was like freelance and we were just seeing different people every shoot but like now we've got like a bit of a team and everything's yeah everyone's like i don't know if it was like a big family at the moment so yeah as i said hope it continued but some of the plans we've got for this year are mad so well we need some i guess some pro tips because we've been speaking about doing we're doing the world's longest podcast yeah do you know how long it is no it's a week long seven days non-stop podcast are you gonna sleep on the street no so what it is is you can't so it's not like a week-long stream yeah somebody has to be on the mic for the whole time oh yeah
18:52Cal:Well, it is streamed. Yeah.
18:53Chip:We're going to stream it, but we're more streaming it as like the behind the scenes. Right. Whereas we're still here doing a podcast and there has to be at least one of us on the podcast for the entire seven days.
19:07Cal:So this would be live, but there'll be other setups, like a bed, maybe a gym and stuff where the camera can cut to it. We can still be talking here. I'll be like, AB's taking his shift off. He's asleep.
19:16Chip:So you can see we've done like our shift pattern here as to what it looks like. try to keep it like a lot of times some of the boys maybe aren't together but there'll be points where we bring guests there's like overlap and things like that but you've done 24 hour streams yeah I have they are very difficult so we need to do seven days do you know what the one problem with the 24 hours is the fact that you can't sleep obviously like you get to do you know what it is it's when you get to like the middle of the night and then the chat goes a bit quiet it's like 5am you just think why am I here there's no seeing the same motherfuckers in the chat over and over yeah you just got your three same mods just doing it with you just chilling with you you have that but yeah they're difficult but I feel like if you can sleep they're like summer funs are pretty cool summer funs are pretty chill I did one in I do one every year called Chasmus it's a funny play on words so we have Chasmus we have Chasmus New Year how long do these last?
20:12they're like three to four we have Chasta we have Chasoween Chasoween goes off Jesus
20:20Cal:That's really, really. The best one though is my favorite. The 24 hour stream every year. The fourth of Chaz Lai. Brilliant. That's my favorite. Brilliant. The fourth of Chaz Lai. So you don't need a creative director. You don't need a creative director. You're good. You're good. You know what you're doing. No wonder you've made it. Yeah. So how long do those last? Like you say three, four days. Yeah. So Chazmas is always like a week, a week. So I normally do it like seven days before or seven days after Christmas. And then I do the fourth of Chaz Lai. I'd be like just one day, 24 hours.
20:51Chip:But like, so you say the seven days before that gives us a bit more help because you're live for the entire seven days. Yeah. So yeah, I slept on camera and things like that. But I get nervous about that. Yes, I'm really nervous about that. Yeah, no, because it was one thing actually, it was this year and it was like, I don't know if it was a figment of imagination, but I felt like I was just like playing with, not like actually like doing anything. You know, when you're just like, I don't know, in my sleep and I woke up and I'm going has this actually happened? No one said anything so I can't have been doing it.
21:24Nobody's getting more than wood. Also yeah what if you're not that I was worried about on lockdown you know. What if you I was really worried about because I had a camera so my bed was here and I literally had a camera on the towel of my bed. Oh so they're seeing that.
21:37Cal:I was thinking they're seeing everything here. This could not be a good site for them. I just had to embrace it. I just had to announce it like I've got more than wood. Which you were letting everybody in lockdown. I was just letting them all know though because I was like they can't catch me if I already let them know. It's the build-up of time as well you're in there. And it's just natural, isn't it? Exactly. We're blokes.
21:54Chip:Yeah, we are blokes. We are, bro.
21:57Cal:He gets it.
21:58Chip:You know, I get it. I just think that's a bit of a cheap way out. Like, yeah, but have some respect for the people around.
22:04Cal:How if we can't naturally control it? Down! Stop barking at him. Down, boy. Fucking. No. Stop. Not again. Stop. Stop. I love it. That's what that's going to do. Why is it pointing at me? start fucking smacking it up. Yeah, you won't fucking, you know, is this usually happen on air? Yeah. It's getting a bit weird now,
22:25Chip:I'll be honest with you.
22:25Cal:It means I'm comfortable around the guests, if anything, it's a compliment. Yeah, oh, thank you so much. One thing though, that will be unreal if you do it like properly, like that will genuinely. If we can pull it off, most of the comments and there's so many comments that got hundreds of likes, like they won't do that. They won't. And that fucked me off because I'm going to do that now. I feel like when I say I'm going to do something, I know what I'm going to do. Haters are motivators. First of all, what are you doing? Just sat in the comments saying, we won't do that. You won't do anything, bro.
22:49Cal:You ain't doing anything ever. What you're doing, that comment there with a couple hundred, that is your biggest accomplishment ever. They're not touching you, are they, Chip? No, they fucking not. They might be touching you. They're not fucking rattling me. No, you're not rattled. I'm sitting really chill right now.
23:05Chip:You seem really chill right now. Have we got an update from our friends at Guinness World Record? Yeah, so I don't know if we gave this the last time, but yeah, they basically come back to us saying that the title of the world record, so that what will be officially on the document when we get it, will be world's longest live stream podcast. Okay, so what if we don't live stream it now? Then what are they going to give us? I'm not doing anything on live stream. No, but this is the point I'm making. So then they have to classify it as a marathon and that would mean that all three of you have to be on at all time.
23:35There wouldn't be a chance for a break. So I think there's keywords where they're changing it and look, we'll keep pushing because ultimately we want it just to be world's longest podcast. I want the world's longest podcast. Yeah, I think if they go for that, then we'd have to all be on it.
23:50Cal:If they go for it and they title it world's longest live stream podcast, cool. Wherever I go, I'm going to say it's world's longest podcast. So they've said that. So they've said we're allowed to do that. That's fine. But just on the official document on the official website, that's what it'll be. We're allowed to say it all we want. We try it on the website, inspect element it, take our live stream.
24:10Chip:yeah that doesn't work for that doesn't mean that isn't you can't just go in and edit someone else's
24:14Cal:website when i share it it's gonna look legit bro i'm not you know how much they they charge for
24:20Chip:this shit they're obviously not gonna let us get away how much are you charging us can we say how much why not okay but the quote we've been given already was 12 and a half grand 12 and a half grand just for them to say and they won't even give us the title that we want yeah yeah 12 and That's for all branding. That's for them on socials. That's for like... I don't want their socials. Keep your socials. Keep all that nonsense. It'd be cool. Just tell us. Just tell us. We have the World's Hungry Podcast.
24:46Cal:The thing is, this is what happens when there's no competition. You know, Xbox and PlayStation were going up against it. It was healthy because the other one had to get better or had to appeal to consumers. Guinness World Records, they've got all market share. There's no one going up. It's not like you can go to another company and be like, hey, do you want to review this? Guinness World Records on the block. So they control everything. Fuck. I'm not fucking with that. It's a monopoly. I always thought surely Guinness and Guinness World Records have got to have like a lawsuit at some point. There's got to be a scrap on at some point.
25:16Chip:I've always thought of this. Is it Guinness? Is Guinness? Guinness? It's the same? No, no, no. It's the same company. It's not the same company. No, it's not the same company. Are you sure it's not? They make us very... We have to say Guinness World Records. It's not Guinness. It's Guinness World Records. We have to say Guinness World Records. What the hell does Guinness mean? Well, that's the, obviously the, Is it not the same company?
25:37Cal:Because you know, when you think about Michelin stars, Yeah, and Michelin, and it's actually the tire brand. Yeah. Because they made it very apparent to us.
25:45Chip:There's a great story behind it. Do you not know? Kind of strange, by the way, isn't it? Really strange. So what happened was Michelin wanted to sell more tires. Right. And how did the, how did people sell more tires? Is people have to drive further, use their tires more, wear them down to buy more tires. so what they did was they started finding restaurants further away and started giving them like Michelin stars to get people to drive further to go and visit these places therefore having to buy new cars is this true? I feel like you're pulling my leg here Cal can we get can we get a double check on that?
26:19right the story the story behind Michelin stars
26:22Cal:the only reason I know is because when you go and see like someone that says like Michelin guide restaurant or whatever they'll have the Michelin man there you're joking yes here we go
26:31Chip:here we go let me read this out there's no way this is true I think he's got it this is true from Humberby holy shit we've got chat GPT now any chance we get a shortened version of this
26:42Cal:it is right though oh my god I've learnt something today I'm trying to find like a yeah yo you gotta take this home and tell the boys yeah yeah this is going straight in the Bobboy group chat this guys guess what guess what I learnt today on the pod probably don't know what it is though that's it I'll just put Mitchell in Man and go oh shut up Chas you look like him or something oh that yeah that should be
27:05Chip:a valid response so is there like a victim of the group I feel like in every who's getting
27:10Cal:yeah who's getting
27:11Chip:it the most for us we got Theo it's probably Jakey to be fair Jakey gets it the most but it's like me and Jakey get it the most but it's like it's just part and parcel it's just like lad banter
27:22Cal:we love him to bits like you get it loads mate but you fucking smash it the way you respond this bill a lot of people out of the stream like jakey join our call and we all go ah jakey's here and everyone's like oh you're being mean to him i'm like you don't get it jakey is completely fine
27:38Chip:i've been saying that on years on youtube videos but the comments don't get it that is true but this is what it is um so yeah here we go just to our to our point um here we go the world famous michelin star station actually began not in fine dining but as a clever marketing idea the French tire makers created a free travel guide to encourage people to drive more and buy more tires the guide included maps, car care tips lists of places to eat and stay for early motorists as the guide became popular the brothers began to sell it and expand its content in the 1920s anonymous inspectors were reviewing restaurants and in 1926 Michelin introduced stars to highlight outstanding places to eat so that's essentially it it's incredible that good bit of law that that's serious law
28:22Cal:Well, thank you for doing that.
28:24Chip:Bro, that's absolutely fine.
28:26Cal:Educating me on a fucking Wednesday. I actually, yeah, my eyes are open. You got a missus? Yeah, I do. Yeah, I do. How long have you been with her for? Eight years. Fucking hell. Yeah, long time. Been together since we were 16. Okay. Is she fucking with your fitness journey? I'd like to think so. I hope so. But yeah, no, to be fair, we've been together forever. But yeah, I even said to her, I was like, oh, mate, I'm sorry I've done that to you. Do you know what I mean? She invested in stocks early. I was in the academy, academy footballer. She invested in the stocks early and they've just scouted.
28:57The tubbiness come in when I started streaming, when I got to around like 2021. But before then I was actually, I was, I'd say of every average size.
29:04Chip:Oh, so actually, maybe she's not the scout. She watched a footballer in decline. Yes, that's what I'm saying. She invested in stocks. She thought, wow, plays football, like got a bit about him and then it just went downhill from there. Yeah. You know what I mean? It went downhill and then slowly I'm on the rise. I'm having like a, like a Jamie Vardy-esque career. You know what I mean? Ooh. Yeah. I was playing National League football in my mid twenties, but hopefully with this, with this fitness journey, I'm on my way back to the Premier League. Leaderboard. Unbelievable. On my way back to the Premier League.
29:33Chip:No, that's actually brilliant. Who was it? Oh, so these, in your locked in series, sorry. Who are the people that was in with you? Do you still speak to any of them? Benno. Speak to Benno, obviously. I was friends with Benno beforehand. So, but yeah, not really anyone to be fair. I don't really speak to anyone. Obviously Cole, but I was always like kind of friends with Cole so it was a good lead what was it did you enjoy it or not really no to be fair I did enjoy it until like day 10 that's a common theme with like all of these shows everyone says it like day 10 I was like getting along this yeah getting along this and it was like mentally draining it was like oh because basically in our series I think they I don't know what it's like in your series but the first person went out on like I think it was like day 8 or day 7 so they left it like really late and then it was every day bang bang bang someone was going
30:20Cal:I can't remember yeah and then there was like double eliminations and stuff like that but no overall I did really enjoy it did it ever kick off? did it ever nah not really I think that's why a lot of people didn't like our series everyone was too friendly everyone was too friendly really like there wasn't really there was no beef and even if there was beef it weren't real so a lot of like the Thai and Braz stuff weren't real yeah it was fabricated not like it was them they didn't like plan it but like they knew what they were doing do you know what I mean okay yeah I mean you guys got to be done a little bit of drama going on but no overall I did really enjoy a lot Tim it was a cool experience you did quite well you weighed it quite far right yeah the way I went out don't sit right with me how did you go out I got kicked out by Fabrizio what he had to vote you out nah he just come in and got rid of me I suppose there was a key every day and then he had a key of elimination and just got rid of me yeah it was quite sad to be honest oh damn I didn't go out to the public I didn't go out to the housemate So I got kicked out by Fooizzi.
31:20Chip:And Fooizzi, so he wasn't a housemate. He was like a... I guess him and Casey, yeah. Oh. Yeah, him and Casey come in. That's how I went out. I went out in the final. Oh, wow. That's a bit harsh. Do you reckon he was told to vote you out or do you think that came from like a deep rooted hatred for you? I don't know, to be honest. I mean, there was a few plausible things I can think of in the head of why he went for me. But apparently he didn't know what the key did. Apparently he didn't know what the key did. that old chestnut. Yeah. But the key word apparently, but I mean, I actually don't know.
31:52He says, he still says to me, you don't know. So I mean, there could be, there could be the case. He could not know. Do you know what I mean? I want to go and eliminate someone on that.
32:01Cal:Why don't they call me? Do you want to do that? Yeah, go ahead.
32:04Chip:Max has done it twice now and at both times it's been absolutely hilarious. Oh yeah, the way he got rid of him. That's where the go yard thing came from. Yeah.
32:11Cal:They have asked me to come back and do bits, but I always, I think I'm just charging too much money. Davey's way too much these days I think we're like yeah that's not fuck with that yeah you've earned the right to charge that much maybe I should just do it for free for the love of the game when have we ever like when Nico went in there I'm pretty sure he must have charged low because Nico must cost a bomb he was just staying there I feel like Nico also
32:35Chip:loves a little side mission
32:36Cal:Nico came in there and sold me a dream and he convinced me that Bruno Fernandes had come out as gay and oh my god Yeah, no, he actually had me the whole time. I was thinking, fucking hell, can't believe that. It really caught me off guard. I wonder how his wife is and stuff. I've got a bellum when I get outside, make sure it's all good. We had a guest every day. Danny was my favourite guest. Taze just rage baited me the entire time and actually annoyed me. Taze was just, yeah, Taze just rage baited me to like absolute max. And then Danny come in, I was like, are you not allowed to know the football scores or anything like that?
33:12Danny just walked in, whipped his phone out and showed me the highlights. That's so good. Top nine. We love that. The errands we do. They're all watching back in the fucking library area where they all edit.
33:24Cal:Yeah, like the production scene behind it. Stop showing it.
33:26Chip:Because you're not allowed to see the time or like anything, right?
33:29Cal:We'd figured out the time through something. I can't remember what it was last time. They changed the time on the microwave. So what we did is just figure out every day when we were waking up, it was always at like 7 p.m. and then we would just use it like that as a guideline.
33:44Chip:oh the microwave was at 7pm
33:46Cal:like it was always yeah
33:47Chip:so you knew roughly within like an hour or so because of the sunlight yeah fairs I'm fucking with that we had a thermometer that had the timer on it and I told too many people and it got out
33:58Cal:oh and then they came and took it away you gotta keep down the load bro it was one of them was just classic me though just couldn't keep my mouth shut I was so excited I was like guys I know the time how do you know the time and I'm like I don't know the time you just want to flex it don't you like yeah I've got fucking I know this you don't even that's a luxury inside there you know yeah what Tartano in the time yeah just fucking looking at someone going babe you wish you knew what time it was I'd be like
34:24Chip:mate you're a fucking weirdo leave me alone is it four
34:28Cal:maybe it's five
34:31Chip:do people go for do people smoke a lot of people vaped yeah can you vape on camera or not I don't know probably not right nah he wasn't allowed to vape on camera now. No, he wasn't. How many times you say anything crazy, just hit a puff of it and be like, sorry about that. For a lot of people, to be fair, I just saw it. It wouldn't go in clips.
34:48Cal:Because you've got to wear like branded stuff, don't you? To like promote them. Oh yeah, of course. Yeah, that's kind of wild actually. They have you in some nice clobber. Wait. Did you ever look at them and go, no, I'm not wearing that. Yeah. I love JD. You're JD? Yeah. Yeah. Just don't even fuck
35:04Chip:with that clobber anymore actually. None of it fit him. JD's clothes are better. I hear that. um what no i wanted to ask a question oh yeah no okay this is it so you know i i think i brought up actually at the shoot but i don't know if anyone answered but anyways um it was about the bov boys doing like their own event because you know we you have like beta squad they did their thing sidemen have done obviously the sidemen charity match um and i was thinking beta squad need to do some sick live stream event sorry basically yeah there is like talks of it of talks of us doing stuff, but it's so hard because obviously we don't want to look like we're copying anyone or anything like that.
35:44So I feel like -
35:44Chip:No, you can do your own spin. Yeah, we need to find like the right idea if we're going to do it. But that is something we definitely want to do this summer. Like we want to try and find something we could do for streaming wise that would be like a sick event. Yeah, like a one-off, one a year. You've got this, I don't even know what it would be. I don't know what you could be, yeah. Do you want to know what I think now would do so much better than when it happened at the time? Do you remember when Logan Paul did that Olympics thing.
36:08Cal:He did like the Logan Paul Olympics. You remember this? Challenger Games.
36:13Chip:That was it. Creators doing like 100 meters. Toby ran in the 100 meters. Did people go to that? Yeah, he did go to that.
36:20Cal:Ah, yes.
36:21Chip:It was like the Olympics, but like a creator version,
36:25Cal:creator Olympics, which is actually a pretty sick idea. Honestly. How did Toby do in it? He was in the final heat, wasn't he?
36:32Chip:Didn't he come third? How the fuck is he? Destroying one. ah he's unreal he's a monster I used to watch him a lot when I was younger yeah um but yeah I don't know something like this I still think could be done in summer here in the UK definitely as long as I'm not taking part in this I think what about the hammer throw yeah no you know what that's the one thing I have got I've got to be fair I might not by then though yeah I know I'm losing my my pro points to being on the larger scale you're redistributing your skill tree exactly my body is starting to reform minutes normal way it's weird i saw my shoulder bones the other day and i was like this isn't right oh shit isn't right so that's rugby i'm actually no more rugby then oh no i used to play rugby when i was younger and then i got absolutely smoked by some guy no like generally yeah i was young i was on the wing right and i was in i think it was the rugby b team for school um and oh what this you know when you like when you were young and this kid's like six foot just grown like three years ahead of everyone i remember running that and i'm thinking this ain't gonna run well this he's absolutely just I remember just laying on the floor thinking I don't even know where I am like it's like album movie and he looked over and he's gone oh no never played again ever never went back to it that was my retirement story for rugby rugby at school is the most fucked sport and the reason is purely for the point that you've made there is all these kids growing early doors just straight into the rugby team it's got nothing to do with ability genetics it's who can grow 604 I didn't have leg hair till I was getting to the end of school.
38:07Chip:I had no chance of being in that rugby team.
38:10Cal:I was scared when you're playing rugby that whole day. It's like shaking. Yeah. Fucking shaking. Rugby at PE. Looking around like hopefully he's not turned up. He's not in today. Nothing worse than first period PE rugby and it was frozen over. That was honestly, that was dire.
38:26Chip:Your hands just like. It was horrible. Horrible. Do you know what was actually one of the worst things was underrated in PE. Do you remember you used to play basketball when you bend your finger back. That was like, stop straight in. Yeah, it was such a bad injury that. Yeah, I'm waiting for somebody to put on the creator basketball game because me and Chip will just run a little. I actually think that would be really good.
38:44Cal:We played that in school, didn't we? And we'd probably be pretty good. I'd be down to play that.
38:47Chip:Yeah, the Bov Boys basketball. The Bonanza.
38:51Cal:Basketball charity match. I think it'd be a watch role because I think a lot of people don't, have never tried
38:56Chip:or bothered with it. God forbid an American person tuned in to that type of shit.
39:00Cal:Horror. even anybody that can play it here is still terrible yeah it's true fun fact nyk my name is actually for the new york knicks yeah which is a basketball team so is that what it is because
39:10Chip:that's why i said i wanted to speak to you about it like why so new york knicks have you been to a game yeah yeah i've been to a lot so basically my gamer tag on playstation used to be afc chazza and then i got banned on playstation well i got banned on fifa actually um i used to make um sub accounts and do hybrid nations over and over again on fifa and then sell and then transfer the coins to my main account and then that got banned which was afc chaz and i thought i like basketball nyk chaz and then it's just stuck for that i was actually debating getting rid of it getting rid of it and just being chaz but i haven't made a decision yet oh i think you should because you think i the only reason why i get his identity though no but the only reason why i get dms and they go, oh, because I'm known as Chazza, where's at the start of my name?
39:57They're like, we can't find you.
39:58Chip:Yeah. I've had DMs of Instagram going, I didn't, I couldn't find you. I think you're just going with Chazza. And the NYK thing is so niche that like, yeah, yeah. It's just the game.
40:08Cal:People in the UK don't really fuck with it. It's a very UK audience as well. No one actually knows. But like when you were first growing up, that's sort of what everyone, like when I remember coming across you and like, that's what I would see for as NYK Chazza. Like it would always be in the start of everything. that almost was the identity if it was just Chaz you'd be like I know who that is as well obviously now that it's changed back then it was very much like okay that's the name rather than just Chaz I've had like a bit of a rebirth like in content because I've been I've been doing it for like four and a half years like streaming but I was a FIFA streamer for like three years straight pretty much and then I was I only did FIFA and I used to make like really cringe FIFA TikToks that even looking back on generally make me want to die they were funny man yeah they made me want to die they did really good views but they generally made me want to die looking back at them now.
40:54And then obviously I went into Variety. What's that? What do you call it? Variety where you just do a bit of everything? Yeah, just start doing everything pretty much.
41:00Cal:What are you streaming mainly now? Let's say you go on tonight, what are you putting on? Tonight we're probably playing Rocket League. Fucking fair. We're on a Rocket League era at the moment. What game? So how many average concurrents do we get doing that for example? It depends to be fair. So like if Gingy's on, we'll probably average with about like 1.5. And then if he's not on, probably like three. Okay. Three. That's why he's called the tax man.
41:23Chip:Either way. Oh, the jinx tax. We call him the tax man because he taxed everyone's viewers. So you're telling me when he was in the jungle, it was like Christmas? Oh, it was unbelievable.
41:32Cal:Were you able to stream like, you reacting to it? So it was so... Oh, some way. Well, we wasn't technically allowed, but Tayshus risked it because he doesn't stream. So he's like, I'm just going to stream it every night.
41:45Chip:Wait, was he putting the feed on so people could watch it? Yeah, yeah. That's insane. Fair enough. so we were watching it we were watching it on stream but to be fair obviously ITV like they got wind of it and then they were like oh it's fine well yeah I mean it's such an easy win they got wait sorry they got wind of you and Tay's watching it no we was all watching it all the boys because originally we were going to do it on Gingy's account and then obviously we lost contact with him and we couldn't get it all sorted so you didn't think to maybe get the password no no we did get the password but it was to the point it was like we don't know if it's allowed yeah if it's allowed oh and you don't want to fuck up Gingy's
42:20Cal:James comes out of the jungle where are the channel gone? his Twitch car's been banned oh what a shame that would be no
42:27Chip:now he can never stream and fuck up my viewers that would be such a shame if that happened but yeah that's why they call him the tax man because he taxed all of us unfortunately hey the game's the game the game is the game that's what it is
42:40Cal:he's such a good lad isn't he he is a good lad he is alright yeah fair he's very annoying oh he's annoying yeah I'd love to he's always been a prick as well it's not a new thing he's always been a knob love to give him like Chinese water torture or something what you'd love to give him Chinese water torture just shut him up for a bit
42:58Chip:maybe there's a stream and just like trying different torture who showed you forget it mate you wanna have have that
43:04Cal:drip of water on your floor after the next five hours
43:06Chip:has he asked for more money from the bov boys now that he's come out no no he hasn't we're actually all equally split in the bov boys but he's smart he said this on stream it wasn't actually meant to be that way yes I saw that clip it wasn't meant to be that way it wasn't meant to be the way but the way he said it on stream made him sound horror so like the way because he spoke about this on the stream he was going yes it wasn't meant to be equal at the start of it like it wasn't meant to be equal so I think I think I can talk about it like well yeah I've seen the clip yeah it's not the same anymore so I think the original percentage was ginger 60 % and the rest of the boys and the boy no no no no but you will understand okay you will understand so it was meant to be he was meant to be 60 % yeah of both boys I think I Tay's oh no it might not have been 60 trying to think mine was 15 yeah Tay's was 20 and at this point I think because this was like really early on this was like probably this time last year I think Jake was like maybe 8 and then Hines was like 5 or 6 but the original plan was is that we actually had a Bobboy's house and the rent on this was I think it was like it was a lot of money so the plan was Ginge would pay 60 % of the rent so for the first six months it was going to be planned on basically so Ginge would get 60 % but he'd have to spend 60 % of the costs on all of Bobboys so obviously that never happened but that was like the thought process let me just tell you that is a horror way to do it but the way he spoke on the stream he was like yes I was like so yeah it wasn't meant to be like that but then I come down for everyone and that sounded so bad and then he couldn't explain but yeah it makes more sense because he was literally going to basically fund the entire thing so then obviously it changed
44:52Cal:well now it's in a good now it's in good nick yeah it's all equal now
44:56Chip:equal split equal split is the only way to do this type of thing
44:58Cal:it's nice as well because you know even if you do have some of the guys that are coming up and they get they're treated as an equal it's nice for them yeah yeah no well I feel like obviously when you think of it this time I'll see like Jake having that doesn't make sense do you know what I mean because yeah yeah it's impossible to future proof it but he's putting shifting you know like you're seeing oh i'm getting this xml i'll put in the fucking work and he has so it's good yeah i do have to defend jim john that one he sounded i was dying you know i was watching on the stream and i was just like you are an idiot made himself sound like such a dick i got clipped up yeah well
45:31Chip:i mean i saw it didn't i yeah he did um oh my god this next bit that stands right tony i forgot about this moment this is this was massive when people getting arrested for the sitting in the f1 car. So what happened? You're going to just have to break this down. So the, to the viewers that weren't listening, that aren't watching, um, or hadn't heard about this before. Um, Chazza, why did you guys have people knocking at your door and are you banned from Silverstone? Do you know what? I actually don't know. Okay. I don't know if I am banned from Silverstone. Um, so basically we was IRL in and you know, it was like, this is probably one of my favorite streams ever until this moment.
46:12It was going so well. Like, I remember our views and it were crazy. Like, both mine and Ginge's. And this weekend was just mad. Like, I'm an F1 fanatic. Like, I love F1. Ginge isn't really that bothered about it. So Ginge obviously got invited by Red Bull, had a plus one. He was like, I'm going to bring Chazza because he loves F1. And then the plan of the stream was I was going to teach him more about F1, show him around. Now, the night after this happened, we were meant to meet Max Verstappen in the morning. Now, Max Verstappen's like, my favourite sportsman anywhere out of there all the Arsenal players anything I love Max Verstappen so we're streaming we're walking around now there's these all these F1 cars now one thing and it actually ended up saving us is well first of all we streamed it and also there was people getting in and out of these cars like non-stop like non-stop there was no barrier around the car or anything like that so at the start of the clip Ginge and Sam go oh Chaz are getting the car like and that was like when I was like the fat the fat kid gig was running okay and I was like oh we're content creators we're streaming I've gone and got in the car now we didn't really know none the wiser none the wiser as we got in now what I'm actually happy is I could have actually fit in that but I didn't I clip farmed and didn't squeeze in it so that then um we've walked away security have come over because I've been they've seen us with the camera um and here I think you'll see the security come in in a sec yeah you see him walking over there so they've come over and
47:42Cal:ginger's gone he's broke the car you need to arrest him he's broke the car you need to arrest him now um we didn't think anything of it obviously yeah um so etc etc you didn't break the car though no no no so i'll actually i'll get i'll get into that even more as well um so see another kid's
48:02Chip:about to get in it there's people in all of them so other people were getting in that car yes yeah yeah there was multiple poop yeah in the vod that's what i mean in the vod it saved us okay so there are plenty of people getting in and out yeah so we then continue to stream and here arm police pull up behind us on stream arm police right arm police pull up so what what we think happened is um gingers obviously said we need to arrest him they've then checked the car for damage found damage and then gone right it was them so and it was sticking my mind forever to go he goes you need to end the stream we'll bring around the corner just for a chat just a chat we walked around the corner instantly the time is 21 42 you have been arrested on the suspicion
48:44Cal:of criminal damage of up to 30 000 pounds and we were like what the hell what what he's got it was like such a like surreal moment he's like what because in my head here uh because everyone's like oh chazza look nervous here i i knew what it was about because they've said you've caused damage for car the only car we've touched is that one so um but there was actually another
49:07Chip:sorry just before we go into the next episode did you feel like at this point this could have been a prank uh yes we thought we're getting swatted yeah yeah before we're getting swatted at the time yeah um and i'm quite an anxious person so like in general you'll be the boys will probably tell you that in certain moments i get like i just worry about everything yeah you're a warrior yeah my mom's the same i just worry about everything shout out to your mom yeah shout out big sue and then we were literally walking around the corner yeah you've been arrested times 21 42 and at this point it was like i know i've not done anything yeah so it was like oh it's not that bad and also you think you hear 30 000 pound yeah and you think can't be that bad because these f1 cars if you've broke something on an f1 car these are worth millions of pounds i think the floor alone is like 300 grand yeah on a floor so thinking can't be that bad right and then i only found out about this when we got out there's another clip where when i'm getting in it you hear like a when i'm getting in it i don't know if you can find it but what i was really happy about in my mind that didn't like i didn't feel anything in real life like yeah i remember it was more of like a click like because the carbon fiber floor so carbon fiber shatters anyway so like lucky i didn't know that when i was in the holding cell because i think i would have gone under thinking i've actually broke it yeah but then we was in the holding cell for 15 hours so they take you from silverstone to like the local station yep so we went in a police car they didn't cuff us because we was not a threat we was not a threat um even i'm a bit of a bad boy no you need the pick if you lot cussed up free up chas free chas free chas free chas there was an AI cliff of Ginge cuffed on his knees that went everywhere
50:48Cal:730k lights BBC News YouTube anger Ginge arrested over damn telephone car yeah it's still real even looking back on this but no we go in the car Sam goes in the car on his own me and Ginge are together now Ginge says he wasn't nervous but this guy just wouldn't stop talking in the back of the police car he's reciting GTA role play wait what play police terms you know that was the that was the fake AI image no that wasn't real AI image yeah Jin said he wasn't nervous I think he was I was just shitting bricks I've never been in this situation in life what am I doing in prison well not prison but in a holding cell that was a joke so we walk in and you get put and this room looked like the gulag on the original war zone it's like these old mouldy toilets and they've sat us down and they've gone good news good news custody's very light tonight you'll be out by 2am so I'm thinking oh it's not like bad it's about 11 at the moment not too shabby it's not the end of the world they then process Ginge first so Ginge goes in that's the last time I saw him Ginge goes in the south I'm sitting in there with this guy and he was talking to me going how's your day been and all this and I'm thinking
51:59Chip:oh mate this ain't the time I'm going under here you are stressed I'm stressed I'm like mate what are you on about please stop but the policemen were actually really good like they were really I think they knew Ginge as well yeah who doesn't these days yeah but they were they were saying oh it's not the way we wanted to meet you in order to Ginge whoever in this holding bit so we go through they sign you for you have your mug shot I actually want my mug shot yeah surely you can get that I know it's where we got no further action I think they get they actually get deleted and they don't get a release I don't know there must be something I bet they hold on to it yeah they must they must be somewhere they take your DNA so like you get swabbed everything then we got put in a cell about your asshole that got checked no it didn't it actually didn't so they don't actually spread the cheap it happens in the prison oh that's the level that's when you move to the next level so we're in the holding cell now and there was just some nut job going mad in your cell nah like in like three doors down oh yeah okay just going mental like screaming like I thought I was in like some footers like not footers I thought I was in some asylum there I thought I was in some asylum there were some guys going mental time's passing but luckily it was night so I went to sleep so we did go to bed and I woke up so you slept in the holding cell yeah this was the most sorry I woke up it was 10am and I'm like what are we doing still here we're going to be out by 2
53:25Cal:and it's like 10am wait so Ginge was already out you were still in no we were all still in me, Sam and Ginge we were all still in the cell
53:31Chip:wait are you in the same holding cell or not? Nah, nah, all separate. Oh, that's shit. Yeah, we're on our own. We're on our own. Could you talk to each other? Like, shout to each other. You didn't shout like, hey dude! No, but you actually couldn't. Apparently, I was next to Ginger and Sam was opposite, but it didn't feel like that because I could hear Sam. Sam was just chewing the ear off one of these officers the entire time. You could hear him talking to one of them just trying to pass time, but he didn't feel like he was close. Do you know what I mean? It felt like he was quite far away. And then, new officer comes on, on thing, and he was unreal.
54:03every 20 minutes come by. You're right, mate. You're right. You're good. Okay. Yeah. And I think he knew who, who was. Um, then we get to 12, it was like 12 o 'clock. Um, so another two hours ago, I'm going, right. Good news. An officer has been assigned to your case. Well,
54:17Chip:I signed. I've been here 14 hours. Um, then another half hour passes and then he knocks, he knocks on the window and he goes, I've seen the clip. It's one of the worst, like worst things I've ever seen. and I don't even know why you're here. We're going to get this all wrapped up and you'll be free to go, no further action. And we're like, oh my God, like, thank God. And then literally 20 minutes later, comes around, lets us out. Me and all the boys meet up. Me and all the boys are like, we bust keys. We all meet up in the fire. And then the lady was just like, yeah, we've seen the clip. The security weren't doing the job.
54:54The damage was on the side of the car that I didn't actually get in. It was on - Oh, so someone else had done that damage. It was on the other side of the car near the front wing. Okay. And there was like a crack, I think, in the seat. And I didn't even sit down. So she was like, yeah, it clearly wasn't you guys that did the damage. And so you missed your link up with Max Verstappen? Yeah. And then I missed meeting Max Verstappen. And then we got given letters of trespassing from Silverstone. And there's not actually a date on them. So I don't know if we can go back.
55:23Chip:Wait, so why are Silverstone still acting up when the police have gone? I don't think it's acting up. I feel like where it went so viral as well and where a lot of people online, they're like, Oh, they've done it. Do you know what I mean? I think letting them, letting us back in would have looked like a bit bad on them, but they even, the police said it themselves. The security weren't doing their job. Did the letter come through the door? We got given it. We got given it when we was in there. So, um, one thing that was unreal, Red Bull were so good. Really? Cause I'm not even sorry. I'm with Red Bull.
55:55Okay. What they did for me as well, was unreal. After we got back, they sent me like a massive care pack saying like, sorry for what happened. That's class. Red Bull were absolutely unbelievable with it. But that's pretty much the entire story. Here's another story. One of the reasons we didn't get let back in was because of Jakey Davis. For fuck's sake.
56:15Chip:Wait, you didn't let... What do you mean you didn't get... For the actual race or whatever? Let back into Silverstone. So they spoke to the governing board of Silverstone and they watched a lot of clips. Who's they? The board of Silverstone where they were going to let us back in. Okay. And they said two names. They said Tyrone and Jakey Davis clips that they've watched and have come to the evaluation that they would not let us back in. So Jakey Davis is one of the reasons.
56:37Cal:What had he said though? What had he done in the clip? I think he just clip farmed. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But he's made you look even worse than that. Probably like, not surprised. This is what they do. But yeah, it was a mental story, but the police were really good. Red Bull were really good. It was a mad experience. Missed meeting Max Verstappen. I know. Red Bull got to run that back for you. Come on. I don't know if I'll get invited this time, but. nah come on bro yeah it was what the fuck you didn't do that that's what you come up on the stream the next day
57:03Chip:that's so funny you know it was mad on my note on my note the next day on the stream I had like 9k off notification oh my god oh my god what is this I was like I feel like I've got to make a statement yeah more subs yeah yeah no it was good to be fair but yeah it was a mad experience that was a very interesting part of 2025 yeah but fuck it bro that's called that's called living life baby that's
57:26Cal:that only happens when you leave your bedroom chip i don't look i'm actually out of my bedroom right now i think that's more actually you're in your basement you're in your basement that's true
57:36Chip:come on fuck bro never talk about the bit yeah you haven't done a 15 stretch like me
57:46Chip:that's so good have you been on any other podcast before uh oh ginger and taste off stream oh yeah
57:54Cal:Did you go on that one? Yeah, we did go on that. Rest in peace. Yeah, rest in peace. Rest in peace, the off-stream podcaster. What was just so lovely about that pod is they were like, oh, we've run out of guests. So we're going to get Jake and Chaz on. And then it did so well compared to other podcasts.
58:13Chip:It's interesting because that is exactly kind of how this pod works. Anytime that we just get our mates on, they love it. Anytime we like try, we're like, oh, this person's really interesting. and we'll get you on. Oh, shit. Nobody fucking watches it. Get ready for this one.
58:28Cal:And then they're all commenting like, we need more interesting, intriguing characters that have been to the depths of a fucking Albanian prison. Well, we've got one guy that wrote this one. We've got one, eh? We've got one guy that went to the depths of more baptism shit, please.
58:40Chip:Yeah, no worries. I'll give you a title of that. Yeah. Chaz's 15 stretch in prison experience. Probably put Gingy's name in there as well. Give you more attention. Yeah, we'll see what we can do. We can do. All for the clips. Yeah. what a podcast
58:54Cal:gone but not forgotten I was asked to go on this
58:56Chip:yeah I mean AB went on that one I remember that that did well for them I kind of wish I went on it I think it actually did pretty well but I did so stopped it because of Bov Boys 244 yeah
59:05Cal:don't want to be doing too too much yeah it's a lot maybe you'll do a Bov Boys podcast one day Bov Pod the Bovcast exactly ooh with Bov Plus no I'm joking
59:21Cal:you know what guys The logo is brilliant. Go to the wide.
59:28Chip:Just off to the... The look.
59:32Cal:Fucking golden.
59:34Chip:It's not... Fucking hilarious. No, but wait. No, no, no. The set just ends on the right-hand side, doesn't it? I think it's just... Go back to the wide. It's just a room with brick wall in it. It was everywhere, though. That was a movable set. It was filmed in Manchester some days. Wait, what do you mean? No, the set didn't move. No, they did. It was... Oh, no. It was just different sets, but they moved a lot. Yeah, yeah. It was in different places at different times. I love the fact that you guys are up in Manchester yeah no I think it's brilliant yeah no I love it as well to be fair from someone who's actually like from down here like moving up there was mental to be fair it was a really big like culture shock where are you originally?
1:00:11Chip:Essex I'm from Essex so originally like moving it was a lot of sacrifices obviously left my girlfriend she still lives in Essex and yeah my family and stuff and pretty much just packed up and moved up but yeah it's probably the best decision ever made it really like when I moved it started like it's just so so well prized Manchester's just a great city like when we went out there on that night out I was there like I should have fuck with this city yeah it's unbelievable
1:00:38Cal:been saying it for years yeah
1:00:40Chip:glad you finally the problem is we just we got too many roots down here now roots
1:00:45Cal:like we're embedded
1:00:47Chip:you know
1:00:48Cal:no there's too many people here we can't leave I'd love to
1:00:50Chip:well if we do our fellow studios Manchester then then I might be able to send you on a day trip back home. 100%. I'll go out. I'm going to do that for you.
1:00:59Cal:I'll be out with Chaz and Tay's. We'll be living at large.
1:01:03Chip:Are any other boys, because most of the boys are taken. Tay's taken, you're taken. Jakey. Jakey's taken? Yeah. Jakey's movie's got from like four years, I think. Oh, right, yeah. Heinz is retaken. Yeah. Retaken. Still need to... Controversially, actually, mate. I don't want to get into it. I've seen it. It's not our story to tell. it's not our story to tell
1:01:25Cal:we'll just let them have it oh Jakey and Ellie call love it oh she's great he's girlfriend she's really nice if you actually sound yeah it's nice because all our girlfriends are like mates as well which helps oh that's good that's what you like
1:01:37Chip:that's really good because then when eventually you guys do fall out then it's another layer of just awkwardness yeah what a great way of putting it when you've been like that I told myself I'd be more optimistic that's poor yeah obviously I'll go on like massive holidays
1:01:51Cal:we're going into Feb now like fuck it First mum's gone already
1:01:55Chip:Yeah Fuck Well don't worry about it mate Yeah Manchester's quality I love it out there So good I don't think I'll come back Do you go on many nights out at all? Not really Nah Is there any of you boys That actually go on Ginge has found a new lease of life Ginge loves it now I think Ginge goes out the most probably Really yeah Who's he going out with? He's got like another set of mates Other than us Are they new eyes They're old mates? It's like his old mates I'm pretty sure I don't actually know him too well To be fair Yeah He's got like his own group He goes out with we go out sometimes but like I don't know I'm not really like don't really like it that much that's fair
1:02:27Cal:I used to a lot but it's just so annoying being a streamer because I feel like you take the night off and then you have to have the next day off as well so it's like double whammy because you're hanging
1:02:35Chip:the last thing you want to do is whack yeah you basically lose two streams for a night out so it's all about
1:02:41Cal:the dedication to the game it gets in the way of growth yeah exactly of grinding of everything it gets in the way of grinding growth coined a lot the balance sheet takes a hit Two days out Even if it's the weekend Those are still Two working days Fuck Chip knows the law I do Done it too many times To know that my My Coin satchel's Getting affected Coin satchel
1:03:05Chip:I hear that Fucking That pocket's shrinking 100 % Not anymore Ain't but Nah but Back in the streaming days Take one day off Boom It's brilliant I'm gonna start streaming again Did you say this Every fucking six months I swear to God Every part
1:03:20Cal:I'm going to bring in Chazza for 30 minutes. Let him have a little stint on my ship. Yeah. Well, I met Chazza when I was Will Fiddler. Yeah, you were in that first stream. It was the first time I spoke to him. GTA Roleplay.
1:03:33Chip:Yeah, we fucking robbed a shop. Yeah, we did. Robbed a store. Why does it feel like this is all so new? It was actually brilliant. Either I've been watching you for way longer than that. It's a great stream, actually. Yeah, GTA Roleplay is poor. Well, again, there's just not really any good service. To be fair, bro, you've got to be primed up and ready for when GTA drops. because there are going to be billionaires made off of this game. I can't wait for it.
1:03:54Cal:I'm looking forward to that. That'll get you streaming. Look, I can't bring this guy back. He was brilliant. Oh, yes. Is this what you were wearing? Yeah. And I just loved doing it. It felt like I was meant to be one of those guys anyway. You are meant to be a role player though. And you can get away with a lot of role playing. I was saying all kinds of mad shit. Deep down. They were never going to ban shit. I was satisfying and urge.
1:04:16Chip:That's the point of role play. You don't admit. you've literally just undone all your hard work
1:04:22Cal:no you've just he was really good at role play like really good you just acknowledged a bit I was just me and thank you Chaz oh that's horror that Chaz I'm not actually Chaz I'm a guy called Paul Skinback Paul Skinback Paul Skinback so basically the nickname is Skinny so everyone has to call me Skinny and they say
1:04:38Chip:you can't live out your fantasies in the world of GTA well you fucking was no I wasn't yeah Fiddler the thing is when GTA 6 comes out
1:04:45Cal:the role play servers won't be out for a while will this stuff no they won't no
1:04:48Chip:doesn't matter
1:04:50Cal:we'll have enough to do
1:04:51Chip:don't worry have you already preemptively started thinking about like your like content plan for GTA yeah or is it a bit marathon for sure with all the boys we've got to do like a bother fun for something like that I'm thinking a six month yeah there's just gonna be so much non-stop I'm talking you just lock the fuck in for six months it's gonna be a mental like oh I just can't wait at the moment gaming's so like shit yeah like it's so dry there's no one standout game is there and that's why GTA roleplay was always good because it's like when gaming died you could just play RP and RP was a very good game to like just sit there and degen on for like 10 hours whereas there's like Gingy server closed which was good
1:05:31Cal:GTA's so big that it warrants its own channel as well like you can just make fucking GTA there's so much to do on it yeah I saw that they had in the last 10 10 plus years if they get do it right which it will they will
1:05:43Chip:10 years of another GTA is gonna be unreal yeah did you see that they had a fire in their office I was there I was in year 7 when GTA 5 come out wow year 7 yeah the way I got it it was so dodgy as well I was such a bad man the way I got the game what did you do you want to know yeah yeah yeah I'll tell you the law so we had one of my mates who was younger whose dad just didn't care about anything really like he's a proper top bloke so my mum was like so my mum was like Charlie you're not having GTA it's so bad there's strippers da da da so what did I used to do I used to sell in school in year 7 was dishing him out me and all my mates on release night, got in the back of my mate's van, he went to Tesco, whipped round, all gave him 60 quid, walked out, six copies, but, that is class.
1:06:28Cal:Did he not like charge him? Get a little up charge on that. He actually did it to me. A little 10 % delivery fee. There wasn't a finder's fee. he just went in there.
1:06:36Chip:Those days were the best though, when you had to get the actual physical disc, you had to queue up, you go into shop, sold out, next one, sold out.
1:06:42Cal:There was a rumor on Twitter the other day, that they might delay the physical release. I just thought who's asked we're not bothered about that as long as I can get a release obviously these days I do like having the box sometimes I will buy the box bro we still got to install it after you put the disc
1:07:00Chip:nerd media this podcast I showed him I was thinking I was looking at the set and I was like this is actually Chip needs to do like a spin-off show where you just talk about nerd shit
1:07:08Cal:yeah I would love to do that and it was filled with just game memorabilia in the background I will do anything as long as my satchel is being filled
1:07:16Chip:yeah your satchel will be topped up for sure bro just click on any of those and no no no not that one not that one sorry just go to one of the top ones there we go midnight releases and look in the background of these guys like they got so many like it's all memorabilia in the background all game memorabilia by the way can we just put to chas right here he's had to take a goon break disgusting some good shit in there
1:07:42Cal:don't worry about some of the pages sticky there's a lot of pages is missing. No, there is.
1:07:50Chip:There's some that are glued together as well. Don't worry about that. What's that?
1:07:53Cal:Was that like a little competition I can enter? That is for advertised products actually.
1:07:59Chip:Oh. You could buy a solar phone. Could have had the... Should we advertise the fellas pod in a Playboy mag? I mean,
1:08:05Cal:that would have been brilliant idea. They still get made playing. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, still a thing.
1:08:10Chip:Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, definitely, definitely, definitely. Fucking hell,
1:08:13Cal:someone's obviously not... I was a lot subscriber to Horrible Histories I love I used to get the magazine with the cards and then fill up my cards and I read through it and then I don't remember any of it clearly didn't go too well did it
1:08:26Chip:what's it like living with Taze is he a good is he a good housemate he is to be fair he is a very good housemate he's not really there that much where is he his girlfriend lives eight floors below us so it's one of them ones he's there a lot in the day he basically like used it like an office really but I don't mind it because I get I get the entire flat for half price yeah I get it for half price so it was really good when we first moved in but it's just hard because he doesn't stream so like when we first moved in we did a lot of like IRLs together and stuff like that and it was really sick and then the sort of like novelty of it like weared off I think for him and then he's just like because he's really all he does is YouTube YouTube YouTube he doesn't really stream so yeah I wish he was there more but it is cool like it's cool but I don't really live with him that much to be fair at the moment he's always downstairs because obviously we've got something very big coming up so I think he's just making the most of that time yeah question did the girlfriend already live there when you guys moved there or did she move in afterwards eight floors below no it was actually my so it was actually my decision to move she was already there she was already there and then basically that's like the it was like the new best building in Manchester it had like the spa like the sauna and we was like we could go to Deansgate Towers and I was like nah I've heard about them
1:09:41Cal:yeah I've heard some dodgy things I know about Dean's Gate Towers. That's a classic, isn't it? Where all the influencers live.
1:09:45Chip:I don't even know if it's... I've heard it's just like, oh, F towers.
1:09:50Cal:Oh, really? Yeah. Damn. So I think our term starts there like next month. Oh, yeah, we'll be there. Yeah, I decided, I was like, nah, we should move in there. Yeah, it would have been a bit weird, actually. Do you use the sauna and the spa and stuff, to be honest? I did at the start. And then you just kind of stop, don't you? Happens. I did the same thing, and I'm just like, what about that?
1:10:10Chip:Although I've been jumping back in the sauna now. since I've done my research on a good sauna protocol. But yeah, I've been jumping in the sauna lately, 20 minutes, 95 degrees Celsius. Good feel. That's nice. Very good feel. Yeah. Apparently, it lowers your chances of heart attacks. Yeah, apparently. Yeah, absolutely. There's a lot of great sauna benefits, but saunas are also just like a rare thing to find in London, if I'm honest with you. Aren't they? Yeah, they are. They're very hard to find in general, to be fair. But a lot of these new builds tend to have these little like weird amenities like a sauna.
1:10:44Chip:Yeah. Do you know what I mean? We have a steam room but you go in there
1:10:47Cal:and it's... I've got that. I can't do a steam room.
1:10:49Chip:It's so weird.
1:10:49Cal:I don't even know. Are they good for you? That's what my gym's got and I was like oh why would you have a sauna instead?
1:10:54Chip:Nah don't. I'm not gonna lie when I'm in there I just sometimes think about how unhygienic it might be because it's just like I don't know I'm sure there are benefits but like I think a sauna clears it.
1:11:05Cal:You eat your own bogies I don't think you're that ass. Why are you just lying on the pod
1:11:19Cal:You're asking about sharing a steam.
1:11:23Chip:Telling me you used to wipe yours on the wall, bro.
1:11:28Cal:And what that's what you do as a kid in it. And then you still do this.
1:11:34Chip:You're 35. You the jar away.
1:11:36Cal:You move on to flicking, but like as a kid, you'll do it on the wall and then when you get your walls painted, you'll be like, no mum, let me cut a bit off and like keep it. One of the worst things, I used to have a chewing gum bottle. You used to put my chewing gum in a bottle. That's vile, man. It was really bad. This was when I was at home and I remember my mum walked in and she went, what are you doing? You look like you look like a guy. And I was like, you know what, I went, you know what Sue, that's a great point. You know what mum's called Sue? Yeah, yeah.
1:12:01Chip:Yeah.
1:12:01Cal:What's that? What's that?
1:12:03Chip:What's that? Sucon these nuts bro. Superb. Superb. I actually went funny because I didn't hear what you said.
1:12:09Cal:Snowbop's superb. Superb. Bring her up. Show Chazza. Type in SUE space P-E-R-B. Oh wait, I have seen this. No, I have seen this. Oh, these memes are, they make me die of these. Retired. Such Facebook. Oh. I love it. You know what? It's fucking classic. Football Twitter one. That's true. No, I should get that one. Because we said, if you go down in championship, League One. Oh, League One. League One. Okay, valid. They're good.
1:12:43Chip:What was I going to say?
1:12:44Cal:I can't remember. I was about to drop a little. Nothing, bro.
1:12:46Chip:Oh, yeah. That's funny. We're on a fucking podcast. Wikipedia speed run right now. What's that?
1:12:50Cal:Pick two words or people and you have to get from one of their Wikipedia pages to the other in as few. Is this good for audio listeners? Oh, yeah. Because you're going to explain, oh, there's that link. There's that link. There's that link and we'll go through. We're going to try and click it. Okay. We'll try it. We can do it. We've got to try and get from angry Ginge to Genghis Khan. There we go. Okay. Let's start with that then. How are we going to do that by clicking links? So Genghis, do you know who Genghis Khan is?
1:13:14Chip:Right. Let's give him a little rundown. Genghis Khan.
1:13:17Cal:All right. We need it.
1:13:19Chip:He needs it. He knows who Ginge is. He needs a Genghis Khan one.
1:13:23Cal:Genghis Khan. He was a big leader in there. He killed a lot of people. Okay. This is Genghis Khan.
1:13:29Chip:So he was a It says he's the founder As if it was like a tech company But it wasn't right He was of the Mongol Empire And this guy was notorious for shagging birds Oh shit I'm pretty sure he has an insane amount of kids I think there's a lot There's a large part of A loss of the population in either Asia That you could root back to Genghis Khan Just because of the fact that he was mad He shagging birds Let's get to Jinj's Patreon and do this
1:13:57Cal:Not seeing many links here See what I mean When you click on a link You can go through In two links We have to get to Genghis Khan As best as possible Okay and so
1:14:07Chip:You click on the blue links The blue links And it goes through Another page You can go to another one Try and get through To Genghis Khan Where was Genghis Khan Originated from? It was at Manchester
1:14:19Cal:What if you went from What if you tried I'm trying to think of World renowned things What about COVID-19 I think King COVID might be the play because then we might be able to get to world.
1:14:30Chip:Yep. A few YouTubers in here. Wayne Rooney's not going to be the one. Streamer Awards. I don't think that's going to do it.
1:14:39Cal:Is there a fame? Is there like... 2025 British Grand Prix. You could get off into like a subject which you know you can maybe get into. I think COVID-19 might be a good player.
1:14:47Chip:There was King of the Jungle there. Are we not going to get anything off King? All right.
1:14:52Cal:Yeah, but is King going to be a link on King of the Jungle? King itself?
1:14:56Chip:yeah maybe not
1:14:58Cal:I reckon we just said okay I like COVID because it's the only thing here that kind of might span out where's Genghis Khan from he's from fucking I actually don't know Mongolia yeah Mongolia that's one Mongolian Empire anyway right COVID-19 ooh Wuhan ooh is that close that's not close enough it's in the vicinity no I don't mind Wuhan I don't mind Wuhan at all I mean it's that side of the world right yeah yeah yeah yeah go for Wuhan go for Wuhan right here we go Chinese history might be able to get us to oh yeah Chinese history Chinese history it's got to be something bro right now we now we've got to find yeah we've got to lock in here now we've got to find something here there's got to be something about
1:15:42Chip:Mongolia
1:15:42Cal:there's got to be hasn't there the Zhu dynasty there's got to be Wu Zhu Roman Empire could be it could be empires it could be that's not a bad shout that's not a bad shout about don't here we go where's Genghis? he's gotta be here somewhere there's Chakatai oh someone Khan after lead up right there Genghis Khan on the right Genghis Khan on the right in the actual blue bar yeah 5 1 2 three four five five clicks
1:16:24Chip:wow we nailed that that was good that was good stuff chas you got your own no I don't think I do I have my own wikipedia page actually oh let's go on there is a youtube version of wikipedia let's chuck up chas's here see what he's got for us I'm on my famous birthdays and it says I'm known for Hatton Ben Arthur player reviews on fifa oh well that's I mean that's niche charlie no that's not you bro
1:16:47Cal:bro moment
1:16:48Chip:oh bro wait what do you mean you're not on
1:16:51Cal:well you're on Angry Ginger's one so that's fine you can try MYK yeah let's try MYK should we give MYK a go what website is this this is usually the one nah I'm actually getting mad am I on there I must be on the Twitch one Ginger's on there you've got to be on there
1:17:07Chip:oh you might actually be on a Twitch one there might be a Twitch one yeah freeze on here what
1:17:12Cal:can you check when the Coliseum was built for me what
1:17:14Chip:I've just got it in my head and if you don't scratch that itch I'm going to fucking lose it well you have a guess then yeah okay it's it was in the first
1:17:23Cal:hundred years AD
1:17:25Chip:ooh what I don't know 80
1:17:28Cal:ooh we close I'll take that
1:17:31Chip:72 AD for my listeners have you ever been to the Coliseum
1:17:34Cal:yeah when I go to it it blows my mind it's just fucking sick I think I love it yeah it's crazy I've been to the Taj Mahal as well yeah which one's cooler that's also that's tough what the Taj Mahal is mental to be fair like it's actually a little bit mine but they both are to me in their own way nah but I think the Coliseum's cooler because I like the history around how it was a genuine Coliseum where they were battling and stuff not on the Twitch one either guys it's rough it's hard it's hard
1:18:03Chip:it's hard it's hard it'll be it's probably just our internet bugging out from us yeah no it probably is actually that happens all the time Stanley's searching is kind of weird too I'm cooking right now that's a good point
1:18:14Cal:yeah I saw you post something about that yeah that was mental that that actually was mental so what was where did you come 10th nice I did come 10th who are the kind of people ahead like who's you got is Jinj1 Jinj2 Jinj2 Kdral League of Legends streamer I saw this
1:18:30Chip:supposedly he's like massive he's crazy yeah like the list of names that are on there like genuinely to even be on there is he's mental like I'm 10th and I'm 10th by quite a way but when you look at the names above they're like they're like the biggest streamers in the world so yeah so even when I saw like when I got tagged in it I was like there's no way and then they wrote like a really good article actually and it was like and it actually kind of described my journey like perfectly and I was like they actually know their shit like it was actually pretty cool that's kind of nice and awesome it was really really wholesome also a good site I'm trying to think the name of it it's called Stream Charts I think but yeah that come out in December and I was but I'd say that's probably like my biggest achievement to be that in the UK that is sick though that's amazing it's crazy yeah that is how many hours
1:19:14Cal:are you putting in a month right now you reckon between 150 to 250 yeah I stream a lot yeah I'm a pretty degen streamer what time do you start usually like 2 at 3 and then all night end at like 1, 2 yeah I'm pretty degen look at all this
1:19:34Chip:I've got a question for you if you were to guess the next big streamer from the UK who do you think is up and coming up and coming at the moment. Who's a streamer that you're there like this person if they lock in they've actually got crazy potential. They could be massive. There's actually a few you know. There's this guy I love he's called Five Star Azzy. Like he so he we did a thing called the Boftas Liga.
1:20:05Cal:Yeah. Right. And he was he was my captain for the Boftas Liga and he's got a turtle beach. If you could try and find it easy honestly.
1:20:14Chip:What's his name? Five Star? Five Star Azzy. there is no one that turns me up like this bloke at the moment it's just oh yeah I'm fucking with the wallpaper if you can hear his mic he's got like the people listening he's got like the grammar
1:20:31Cal:nah he's dialed in I like that one that's classic English that's what I'm saying
1:20:35Chip:it's classic he's sure he's mad hours as well like and is it mainly FIFA yeah Go on Can I have him Finish Oh Are you going to speak
1:20:56Cal:No I like guys like this It feels real Good energy Oh yeah He's got so many funny clips Like on TikTok and stuff Yeah But yeah He's absolutely hilarious Yeah like him I'm trying to think If there's anyone Who's like starting to To play at the moment On Twitch he's like starting to do really really well I mean I mean in recent it's probably Jake to be fair in terms of like because I've been on Twitch for like four years and that is the one thing with the UK you don't really see many Twitch streamers like I wonder why do you think we don't have many streamers I don't know I think it's definitely becoming something now that's a lot more what's it called shown I think Gingy's a major like pathway I think and especially like the Boff Boys as well now I feel like everyone obviously sees what we're doing on Twitch and stuff like that I think a lot of people are like starting to get on it more but yeah I'd say like Jakey in like the recent is the only like one of the only people to come in like I don't say only I'm not that clued up to be fair like if I've missed anyone I don't want to sound like a dick do you know what I mean but Jakey has he was like newest in my mind who's proper like gone clear really in terms of like sick of like new people yeah because for a long time it was just really like ginger really because obviously coming from there's a lot of big people in FIFA but it's like outside of FIFA it's like I remember like when I was doing FIFA I used to average like so I averaged like 300-400 viewers for like 4 years and then I'd go on another game and I'd be on 100 viewers in 20 minutes yeah it's a bit demotivant isn't it because you want to play the other games because you're fucking sick of playing that main in that one game for ages and then you're like fuck it and you have a great time on the game but nobody's watching yeah like you just gotta keep at it I guess mate 100 % I got to a point where I was probably streaming FIFA for like a year and a half where I was genuinely hating it like I used to stream like two and a half hours a day, three hours.
1:22:41And I had so many conversations with my parents going like, because it's hard. Like even if you average like 300 viewers, that's not as much as you'd get from a nine to five. Like as much as that's insane, you got to look at it. And I was doing it full time. You've got to look at it from the perspective of, am I better off just going and getting a job? Yeah. I mean, and I had so many, I had a conversation with my mum that was like really big just before Curf and Turf where I basically sat my mum and dad down and I went, right, like it's not really going anywhere. I'm going to have to, I'm going to have to sack it in so what I did I remember I had like three I had like three and a half ground in my savings and I thought well I'm going to do it and I took my brother to New York and we went to see like the basketball and stuff and that was like meant to be like my last hurrah really and then I was going to go back into like normal life really and then Girth and Turf started the month later and then yeah the rest is like so did you
1:23:32Chip:blow up off the back of that not really to be fair Girth and Turf I definitely got more known but like in terms of viewers it didn't really like I was still averaging like 400 or it didn't really change my viewers so much but it was more to the point of like obviously playing with like I met Bears played with Ginge more met some of the other lads as well and GoFturf was mental like we had the thing with Rooney which was crazy more opportunity that's how I met Taze yeah that's how I met Taze was through GoFturf I knew Heinz and Ginge for like I've known Ginge forever so I've known Ginge literally since we both had like no viewers.
1:24:09So yeah, known Ginge for like nearly five years. And same with Heinz because we were all on like that FIFA TikTok at that era. That's when we was all on it. So yeah, I met Tays with Girth and Turf and then Girth and Turf was really good all through the summer. Then when FC, it feels weird because it wasn't that long ago actually in hindsight, when FC 25 came out, obviously stuff happened but then Girth and Turf ended. We brought it back a little bit. It wasn't really the same and viewers sort of like went back to normal and it was like the after it was like the end of girth and turf and i went back to average like three four hundred viewers and then fc25 come out and i was like back to it like not enjoying it so what and then i've always been like a really good cod player like always cod's
1:24:51Chip:always been the game well we had you in the fellas loaded um cod thing you were good yeah yeah i always off stream i used to sit there just degenning cod and i was like the new cod come out and they brought ranked out right at the start and i thought you know what i'm just gonna stop playing fifa and i'm just gonna stream what i want like and that was like the deciding factor in me i was like i've had enough yeah i'm not enjoying it anymore i need to change something if it doesn't work it doesn't work and obviously the fifa was brand new so i was averaging like nearly a k viewers just because fifa's new at that point because it dies down yeah um and i went on to cod and i started averaging like 400 viewers playing cod and i was like shit so people are clearly there for you not necessarily the game you were playing yeah so i'm more than happy playing with i'm i'd rather have half the viewers doing what i want than have more viewers doing something that made me unhappy yeah so i started playing cod a lot etc and then fortnite og re-released in december and then yeah kind of like that's when my numbers on twitch started going a bit mad um me and ginger playing together every day um and then that's when i started averaging over a k viewers um just doing variety and then ever since then i've been able to do what I want and then I had a subathon that went mad last year it was my first ever Chasmus and that like genuinely like changed a lot like I went from like 1k viewers etc to like two and a half through Chasmus and then I maintained it moved to Manchester and then it's yeah rest has been history really so then you got caught up in the card gambling yeah now we gotta talk about this because these boys spend a fortune.
1:26:29Chip:Yes, so do you. Nah, I used to.
1:26:32Cal:These guys have got an excuse. Young, come into fresh money. Enjoy it. What the fuck are you doing on? Mortgage. Speaking of cardboard, I've actually got a gift for you because you bought a mystery pack off me, didn't you? Oh, I did, yeah. Can we open this? Well, yeah.
1:26:47Chip:Well, I know he'd done it for me on stream, but I said, yo, when you come to the podcast, bring it with you. And I'll show you guys. So I gave him, was it 100 gifted? oh yeah i negotiated down to 75 yeah the true type bastard that i am yeah i got him down and so i got a little um got a little deal here but i mean jinge almost every day i go on to tiktok yep and i get fed a new clip of jinge put in some madness getting some crazy card how much do you reckon you've spent on cards oh me so far so far overall probably say might feel sick saying it but probably like 40 40 but I am one of the anomalies I've been very lucky so I have you what you've got really good stuff so I am I am actually in profit but I'm a bit different to Ginge when Ginge buys a box he goes I just have my money back I actually you like the cards I actually just like the cards yeah um but yeah like i when you say it's a lot but like i can't lie like what i've you got a lot you get a lot of content out of it though as well don't you yeah yeah especially you do all this stuff on stream it's not like you're a fucking crack addict the stream goes off and you're like right time for my pack yeah i'm actually quite smart as well like when i say i've spent that i buy cards as well like i don't just buy the boxes right so like i pulled the 101 roy keen oh my god wait the marks of excellent no no the dynasty one with the united patch and sick yeah I sold out so how much was something like that worth like 11 11 grand just one card so you get lucky do you know what I mean so yeah I've been very lucky but I don't really buy the boxes that much I do for like content yeah but like I just can't sit there and just spend that amount like no because Ginge must be like almost 300 grand into this hobby yeah and the rest yeah it's mad he's up as well though which is yeah so just for context a lot of the boxes the boys open are like the best of the best boxes they'll run you for like four boxes it'll cost you about 11 grand 12 grand yeah for a case for a case of these boxes right and every day I wake up Ginger's opened up a new case Ginger's generally probably doing about like six a week at the moment six what?
1:29:05Chip:cases a week six cases a week so about 60 grand a week
1:29:10Cal:what is he doing maybe not 60 grand a week maybe it's like 50 it's his money I don't want to I ain't joking
1:29:16Chip:and And with him as well, he's mad up. He's mad up. He pulled one of the most insane cards, which is, it was a one of one Salah. So just so people get a bit of context, Salah in history has never really signed cards. Yeah.
1:29:36Chip:And he gets this. It's not this one. Yeah, this is my Roy Keane, I think. Oh, well, that's your Roy Keane. Oh, sick, sick, sick. but Ginge gets this one-on-one seller which is worth probably about like 80 to 90 thousand dollars yeah and he got the one-on-one Messi yeah oh yeah he got the one-on-one Messi which is genuinely probably worth so the one they're saying that that was worth 25k it's not like GBP you're well above 50 grand yeah it's easy 50-60 grand GBP that Messi one one previous I would imagine it for 200 200 GBP wow so the Messi is actually so like and then when you think of like but he has been that's insanely lucky though bro like I don't think people understand like yeah he spent loads but at the end of the day like he has like every like you know the 99 year miles he has like genuinely like 11 of them I think fuck me yeah he's got a lot of them he's got out of the 10 Messies he pulled 6 of them it's so mad but yeah like he is up but like it's weird it's like one of them hobbies it's like I do it but I don't I don't really I do this on the stream when sometimes I get like they like oh dude I've only ever bought two cases and I got really lucky in mine so I was like buzzing I'm like I'm quitting while I'm ahead no thank you because I just buy Arsenal cards really like I'm an Arsenal fan yeah that makes sense Arsenal and Max Verstappen's like what would you say is the best card that you own?
1:31:09oh best card that I own expensive I've got a Messi I've got a Messi dynasty yeah I've got a Messi dynasty and what's that value like 12 I've got the Salah I've got yeah yeah yeah but my favourite card I've got a Saka 101 that's sick
1:31:23Chip:and as an Arsenal fan yeah that's obviously the one despite recent Saka allegations yeah yeah yeah the not world class allegations have to stop now because that was an expensive card yeah that's actually just tanking the value of your card he was no I love Saka and my favourite card though is I've got this max Verstappen one and it, and the patch literally says Red Bull. I think I've seen this one. Yeah. I didn't know you had that one. That is unreal. Bad boy. Yeah. That's it. That's like an example of what could go wrong. Like when I pulled that one of one, I got offered four and a half on that Skelly.
1:31:58Um, it's not now like I'd be lucky if I got two and a half for it just cause he's had a bad season so far. Yeah.
1:32:05Chip:Come on. We need him to have a good season. Anyways, let's have a little quick flick through to wrap this part up. What? Okay. I'm excited. So I spent, how much did I spend? How much did 75 gift? Keep in mind, I did this on my phone, by the way, which jacks up the price. Yeah. Cause I think, you know, Apple take their cut and everything. So they have to jack the price. Let's have a look. Let's have a look. How much is, let's have a look.
1:32:30Cal:All right. So Stanley says resubscribe, which means he's not subscribed to your Chazza. No, I was just throwing out. Nah, that's fine. I subscribed ages ago. I've got to kick it off there. I hope you subscribe to me Stanley. Mine's fucking stream bro.
1:32:44Chip:He's been giving you five quid for what a streamer. I streamed for two months. Oh, I'll read that. I'll be back soon. So it's actually a really good point. I can't remember the last time I actually bought a box. I think that was the last time I bought them was that dynasty, I think. All right.
1:32:57Cal:Has George been streaming? George. He's on tour isn't he?
1:33:01Chip:30 quid. Right, 330 quid. Should we see if I got my money back? I think you've done well
1:33:05Cal:I can't remember what's in here or not yes I do know what's in here I'm excited yeah we should have saved it actually right
1:33:14Chip:so 99 Virgil van Dijk auto love that nice that's very nice okay that's cool behind that Merlin Soppersite although he was a bit lazy doing the auto here he's kind of half arsed that ain't he yeah he has I think that's my favourite this is a sick one I think that's like
1:33:29Cal:150 free card back I'll show you is it worth less then when he does the art graph like that nah Nah, it's just his autograph. Some of them are just a bit lazy with it. Okay.
1:33:37Chip:This is giving similar Miles Lewis Skelly vibes, but this was Jade and Dan's. And at one point, he was actually... He was like, yeah, big boy. Sadly, those days seem to have passed now. We've got Shabby Alonzo, autograph. Lovely stuff. Very nice. Then we move on to these bad. We've got The Landlord. Now, you can keep that one. Don't need any code yet. This next one is a six out of 10. Dominic Sobbersly. Nice. Really nice patch. But then my favorite one at the back here. This is where I think I might have got my money back. Steven Gerrard, five of 10. By the way, for a fun fact, I actually know that's worth at least 120.
1:34:27There we go. I nice to. I couldn't scout him on stream. So how does it work?
1:34:32Cal:You choose what he gets. that's basically just trolling me on so this is how bad it's got so ginger's on stream and he's like this guy's got no boxes so ginger's like he's got no boxes so i went right so i got an
1:34:45Chip:empty box and went right i'm gonna do some mystery packs so i went into what i had and was like put some stuff in a box i went you can buy this so actually this is a really this is really bad what he did to me so i put a box in his and he did 100 gifted for a fee go and he was up it was like 60 quid profit for him i didn't want to put any because i'm not a scammer you see so i didn't want to put anything in there where you're like fully taking the piss yeah or something that i wouldn't be willing to lose now he went to me he made one right and he went chaz i want 200 gifted he didn't test him and he wasn't sure he wasn't willing to spend the 200 he didn't no he didn't think i'd do it he didn't think i'd do the 200 gifted i've banged in 200 gifted he shit himself because he put a seven grand card in there.
1:35:29Chip:So he's run away, quickly swapped it. No way. Yeah. Yeah. Swapped it out and then offered me a refund. That's horror, isn't it? That is disgusting. But yeah, it was good. Cal got involved. It was very funny. It was very funny. Well, look, Chaz, it's been an absolute pleasure having you on. Thank you for making the track down from Mane. Thank you for having me.
