1:14See website for details. It's the fighting. It's the fighting. Cock! It's the fighting. It's the fighting. Cock! A camel turner! Hello and welcome back to the Fighting Cup Podcast. How are you doing, Alex? I'm all right. What's going on?

1:42I just wanted to, because I'm quite, look, I don't know if Igor Trudor is going to be any good. No. But I didn't, I wasn't, I couldn't tell you of any great authority if he could even speak English before that interview. So when it started, he's like, oh shit, he can speak English. I was like 50 % happier than I was. Yeah. Yeah, I get that. yeah i mean it's it's i think we're always surprised like we've just been to rome for four days everyone's you know i'm making the effort trying to you know gratis merely and you know the pasta fresca style delicious or that type of stuff and they're like cheers thanks appreciate that there's no point me speaking italian to you because you all speak fucking english what do you think of rome oh i don't know why i've not been there before fucking brilliant i i i'd put it in there as probably one of my favorite places i've ever gone 100 right and i'm not a city person because i hate the general public with quite more than the average um amount of bile that you should have for people you haven't met uh but it was yeah loved it loved it loved it couldn't recommend it enough yeah um so i don't know if you've uh have you watched james alcott's video of of how Trudor might set up.

3:02Of course I haven't. No. But I know, but I have watched some bits and pieces and I've read some bits and pieces how he might set up, yeah. It's way more attacking than I thought it was going to be. Okay. Like, we're talking about overlapping centre-backs that end up up front. Who did that before? Where did we see that? Sheffield United? Yeah, Chris Wilder loved the overlapping. Yeah, so it's just, I don't know, maybe this is coming maybe he's going to fix everything maybe we're going to I don't want any of that though right now what do you want mayhem no no I want him to say this is going to be we're going to clog this up do you not we're not we might not you won't see the football I know you want the real football but I'm only here for like four months you're going to stay up that's what's going to happen this is what he's done everywhere he's gone okay I don't give a shit if the football's good or not I couldn't care less just keep me in the division like i'd sell my soul i would i would give everything like all the criticism of thomas frank you know before saying like you know football's no good the brand of football shit if thomas frank came in now and saved us playing worse football than we've seen this season fine yeah i mean i know i said the last time i was on i was like this relegation thing is ridiculous i can't believe people are even talking about it yeah you know i understand why people are talking about it now i still don't think it's actually a real thing because how many wins do we need what four probably probably three yeah i mean it's 38 points yeah so but i'm not that particular worried about it but um it would be do you know what i was thinking about i was like a led awake like i couldn't sleep very well last night wide awake two o 'clock in the morning i was thinking all right well let's think about that then for 20 minutes and see how i feel and how what would it be like and i was like the best case scenario if you were to go down the best case of how you could possibly do it is that it's you know just by ravaged by industries like everyone's like wow christ i had to play like half a team of kids and they went down and as long as i also bottled a league i was like i could all right i could if that's how it's got to go then i could probably do that for a year uh but then you just start thinking about all the other stuff and i was like you know what i need i need someone who's going to come in and no nonsense and then i listened to his voice in the first interview and i was like all right yeah a bit like when you're flying i'm not a big flyer yeah and then the pilot comes on i'm like oh thank fuck he's posh because you know the posh dude will get you home 100 i've been in that situation like let me hear him let me hear him i think we're gonna be fine yeah you're not gonna die and he's talking like it when they're posh and just like this one we had on the way back just talked so quick you could barely hear him he's like fucking hell i can't believe i gotta do another flight it's because it's so inane to him it's like this is nothing's gonna happen and that's how it felt a little bit here in tuner he was just like it was matter of fact nice little tone to it i was like yeah do me it did and we know nothing yet and it's almost unfortunate that he's we've got the north london derby is his first game because you probably won't know a lot more about him from that point obviously given the nature of it but it's um yeah i mean as soon as he started speaking i was just like okay okay and i don't know why i was so dismissive of him maybe because we hadn't heard anything and and and the point now right is is to be as positive as possible because what else can you be because the evidence to the contrary doesn't exist yet it will do probably after the north london derby but you don't know anything so now's the time to be hopeful in the fact that not only could he keep us up we might actually enjoy some of the football he's played and prepare the seat for Pochettino to walk straight into after the World Cup I know I'm basing a lot of stuff on his voice but it does seem to he's got that demeanour of like you guys were talking about last week he's probably the hardest man in the room Oh, yeah.

7:08Well, that's commands respect. He'll just command some respect just because – and it's not right because you should judge people on the, you know, manner of depths of their personality and the rest of it. But he'd just walk in, gruffly little voice like that, little beard. I mean, he basically looks like me. Yeah, probably about three foot taller. Well, he's what, 6 '2"? You couldn't – oh, God, I don't know why I'm asking you this. You couldn't play centre-back for any professional team. Lissandra Martinez plays me and Lissandra Martinez are the same height if not slightly taller than him yeah but but look it's in terms of domineering male you would have to succumb to I got Tudor's presence like you said he could beat up anybody in that room let's agree or disagree on me specifically but um but yeah he does command that that element of it and you know what else could you do and you said about look out what else was out there in the market if I'd rather have I'd rather someone come in and go do you know what he's at least he sounds the fucking part and looks the fucking part and obviously it's got some and it's got some some backup in terms of his previous experience as well i think it's probably the best interim we probably could have got but we don't know that right because we didn't even know who he was no but in terms of if you're going off of the face value things it makes sense doesn't it yeah because he's playing like a you know in position like a 4-2-4 wingbacks fucking bombing on he's got what what do you want to go forward van der Ven go on then son off you go and you dance so you go go go on not you you stay where you are you stay with a fuck um yeah so I mean the issue the main issue based on all these videos I've been watching the main issue is going to be not having a ball playing midfielder oh isn't it colour me surprised yeah it seems to be the issue of everything we do doesn't it because what he had at Juve that worked so well was Locatelli who I think we were linked with at some stage who is an excellent passer at the ball great number six and can this poor bastard who comes in as our ball player it's going to have to be like the second coming because everything is pinned on this dude and has been for about two years well speaking to this Luca lad who's a Juve fan, he makes content around the club and stuff, and he was saying the closest we've got to Locatelli is Bissouma.

9:31I wonder if Bissouma will be the guy. I mean, that's like this group saying the closest we've got to, you know, Henry Cavalli is me. Like, it's not, I don't see it. Bersouma, he's just gone. He's just gone. Legs are gone. New manager, new bounce, all that sort of stuff. Maybe. Maybe. And that's always interesting to see, isn't it, where players suddenly, you know, just used in a slightly different way. But with this amount of injuries that we've got, although I have seen, is that today that Richarlison might be about and Poro might be about? Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Those are the two that come back.

10:15Actually, let's do a little, have a little look at Premier League injuries because I know Poro could be available, which would be crucial to Tudor. And, you know, having an attacking fullback in Jed Spence, although Adoghe would be crucial. And they'd be playing as wingbacks. I don't think we've seen Poro and Adoghe ever play as wingbacks together. Have we got three centre-halves? Well, we've got Van Venn, we've got... Hang on. We've got Radu Dragasen and we've got Paulinha. Because I'm not sure what in the system... A little bit of bark against Arsenal. Yeah, against Arsenal potentially, but I don't think he will be looking at this about thinking about Arsenal at all.

10:54He'll just be thinking about what he needs to do and find the right profile of player or any profile of player that might fit what he needs. And Paulinho isn't that, based on the videos I've been watching. That's all I can say. Someone else to hate Paulinho. We must have seen the overlap the other day, Alex. There's one moment. it's a surreal thing because you've got Jamie Carragher who's won a Champions League asking you questions he's saying your name and then he's going tell me about Igor Tudor and I'm like I don't know fucking nothing about this cunt and there's millions of people that are going to see this so what have I got to do what I'm going to do is what everyone else does is just going to I'm going to regurgitate what I've been told yeah so why are you what is the value of it well because they don't really know and by asking you it means they don't have to really do the research and they can just talk in cliches which is usually what happens I'm hoping that's what you did I'm hoping you just cliched your way out of that I just went well I know he went to Udinese in 2018 and I know he saved them from relegation I know he got Juve Champions League football when they didn't look like they were going to get it and I know he got European football for Lazio I just said that I think that's pretty good I think you've done I think you've done pretty well there I'd have just gone doesn't matter doesn't matter It doesn't matter what we think of him.

12:15It's what he does that matters. And, you know, he's obviously got experience. He's played for big clubs. You know, it's a tricky situation. Let's see how it goes. But, you know, we're going to have to get... And then you just cliche it out like that. And then they would have asked me about Poster Coglu and then I would have come to life, which I haven't watched yet, which I'm assuming you defended the club to the hill and told millions of people watching what a charlatan that man is, I'm hoping. I'm sure you won't have let me down. No, because there was a set two between myself and Rory Jennings who said that it was outrageous that Postol Coglu could go against the club given the fact that he'd been given£7 million.

12:53100 % Team Rory. I can't believe I've just said that, but 100 % agree with Rory Jennings. What you've got to remember in that instance is that isn't about Rory saying what he believes. Oh, yeah. He was trying to get me. Yeah. Which I couldn't allow. but um i i was listening to the the postocoglu interview and thinking that was quite a bold thing to say given the fact that he would have had some sort of nba or non-disclosure or non-disparagy clause or whatever it is so you can't say anything bad about your owners otherwise you lose the money do you think what he said about us not being a big cub because we don't spend big club money you think he shouldn't have said that?

13:36I know you hate him, but if it say it was Thomas Frank, you said that or Pochettino. No, I don't think he's wrong in saying it. I just think it's ridiculous. I can't bring myself to what I'll be perfectly honest with you. I can't bring myself to watch it. I can't. I had to mute all mention of everything to do with Spurs on Twitter and stuff just so that he wouldn't even come up on my, on my timeline because regardless of what was said he will have sat i think i did tweet about it i said it's like spoiler alert none of it will be anything remotely to do with his shortcomings in any way shape or form and the two people two of the people that dragged him the most in the in the media through kind of covertly and through co-coms and stuff are sat less than four yards away from him and he won't say anything and from what i can understand that's exactly what happened and that's that's why i was pointless even listening to it um he's right of course he's right and i think jack tweeted something the same that a lot of what he tweeted said rang true i don't think anyone is there going to try and say that anything is about the club or and when we talk about the club we talk about manager upwards uh we've all we've all been we know it we don't need to listen to her we already know it we told you about this shit yeah but but by him saying that on the biggest show in well in the world like the most exactly who he is yeah no but there could be regardless of that like positive fallout to that in that there's an additional pressure on enix that wouldn't have been there if he hadn't said it yeah yeah i mean i just i feel like um i feel like the my personal opinion of is i feel like the wage structure and everything and the growth of outside things was was going to happen anyway because we would have had to see something from the the lewis family after that the types of words and how it's been spoken about since I was still maybe being naively, but I still think that that's probably coming because the noise is too much anyway.

15:32Yeah, I think, again, it might be naivety. And people that are at least tons of people are still like, the people that were that Levy out have now obviously just transferred to Enoch. Because you could argue, and they would argue that they're part of the same problem. And they're probably right, right? Like Enoch and Daniel Levy are so intertwined that you probably can't separate them. Even though they've had this fallout, there's been some sort of breakdown in the relationship. Daniel Levy owns a third of Enoch. Was it? Yeah. No. A third of Tottenham. And doesn't own Enoch, actually, I don't think.

16:15Anyway, look, his son works for Enoch, Josh Levy. Yeah. And he's an owner. He would have been doing his bosses. And in any company, it wasn't always just Levy doing whatever he was. He didn't get carte blanche for it because he's been asked to run it. But if there was anything that really needed doing, then it would have come down. Famously, Redknapp being sacked was pretty much that, wasn't it? It was Joe Lewis saying, actually, Enoch that was wanting to change, whereas Levy didn't particularly want to, which is why their relationship is still relatively standard the test of time. Yeah, that's what Harry Redknapp said, wasn't it?

16:48Yeah, he said it was Joe Louis. but then he also said i think joe louis still involved and i'm like this guy's like he's decrepit when you want your spring break to feel like and your kids pool day to feel like and your hotel bed to feel like oh and room service to feel like because at hilton hospitality feels like your cabana's ready Would you like fresh towels? Yeah, but what I mean is if you've got that much money and you've really still got that kind of influence because they're moving it all in the trust, but you're still kind of the godfather of it all, that's probably the easiest thing to do.

19:10You're sat in a chair doing nothing rather than going for anything too complicated business-wise whatever he could just stick the telly on go fucking sell johnson sick of him right yeah what does sell johnson yay yes the revisionism on johnson is mental i think some of the stuff i've been hearing like oh we don't have any fit forwards but we were bullying johnson off social media the other day he wouldn't have survived this like 16th last year but he kept scoring in Europa he wouldn't have survived this what's going on now he'd be allowed out to come on I think people are using it as like saying we should never have sold Johnson but who rated Johnson when he was there who no one did but it's what you cling to because there's got to be a reason for why we are in this fucking position again I can't believe that we are having this conversation and looking at that part of the table again like the common denominator is Enoch it was Daniel Levy it's E-Nick it's the only thing that remains the players the managers everything changes like Conte's comments as much as I thought that he was a fucking wanker when he did it he's spot on like it was bad the way he went about it being with the content did we at the time it was just the I did I think I don't know I think I remember I think I remember being very angry with him like saying look we're in a bad position you're setting fire to us you're making this worse help fix it but he was almost saying you can't fix it because them lot up there yeah 20 years what's the same same oh no same or something like that I just thought he went mental because of all the stuff like losing his good friend which is you know a terrible thing and then he had a gallbladder thing and he's gone for ages and then he came back for the AC Milan do you remember that do you remember when we just didn't have a manager because he was up sick he was gone for 8 weeks only at Spurs because something like that happened like oh wow we got Conte where has he been everywhere he's won it he's done the treble at Inter I think he did then he went to Chelsea and won the league and then the FA Cup and like fuck fuck yes it's finally our turn we're gonna have it and then fucking like his best mate passes away and he's like oh that shit fucks him up rightly so you know it would do all of us and then he's like I've got bad gallbladder I'm gonna be off for eight weeks I get it happens but why does it happen now when you're the Spurs manager fucking hell man and then he went yeah no it's all shit like all you lot basically what he was saying is all you fans are fucked until them lot are gone so i'm just the question i was i'm gonna ask you alex is is do you know we talked i was about to say how i feel like i might be naive and you said you it might be based in naivety that come the summer given the money that's been injected the hundred million pound cash that's sort of sitting there um which isn't like i said before it's not just a hundred million pounds to spend on a player it's if you amortize it it's worth a lot more than than a hundred million and they will amortize it sorry frank frank's sitting next to me and with a banging on the desk and now he's shaking yeah that's been a tough dog i've shut the dog out of the living room and the three kids and the partner so it's only a it's only down basically they're they're shut upstairs yeah downstairs to this house is the living room and the door is the door is shut because i'm working i'm working down here and then i was like she's oh you're going on a call i was like no i've got to do a podcast now she's like oh uh is that just bear in mind you'll need to get an office mate because that doesn't where's finn she's gonna get annoyed uh she'll get annoyed she'll lash out she'll go out for a drink one day and she'll shag a man if you're working downstairs constantly yeah it's fine if if everyone's happy and the noise is is relatively low and i've told you we've had this conversation before i'm probably i'm all right with it doesn't bother me not like you and ricky where you're just completely obsessed with i'll kill myself for the rest of it i don't kill myself it's my it's my endless source of joy of the fact of anytime i want to really upset you if you if you've wound me up just that one bit too much in the group i can just say i could just go to say something about ollie being with another man and that would be it we won't hear from you again for two days i don't even like even when you said that then i was i don't like that um I would murder her and then I'd murder me.

23:32Yeah. I know. I'll murder the kids. I'll murder the kids. All of them. I know, yeah. But it's, I enjoy it. I know, yeah. What are we talking about? Yeah. Is there a world where they, do you think that Enoch do spend, that we do break that wage barrier, that we'll be in for proper targets? Like the belief in the fan base online is that it's bullshit and it won't happen, which I can understand as well. What do you think? I can see it to a degree because they haven't had a summer yet of this approach. You know, January, okay, it didn't go well, but it is also January. And were we going to keep the manager if we were getting players that he didn't want?

24:18Like, you know, it was an awkward situation, right? Of their own making, but an awkward situation nonetheless. less so i'm still relatively optimistic because i think there was a lot of talk in there wage structure has been mentioned specifically before postocoglu opened his big fat stupid mouth uh about wage structures that has been physically mentioned in um in updates and communications from them so i mean that that would take a lot then to not do it at all my issue is still with you know it's all very well offering players this money it has to be over and above now to get people to come because we're going to finish in the bottom six in the league for two seasons on the trial and probably not in Europe next year now.

25:02So that's why I was so frustrated because I was like, this summer, summer just gone, this was now, this is the time to do it. So yeah, but I'm still relatively optimistic about it and I'm not an Enoch fan in any way, shape or form, but I'm willing to give them the summer before I start having paddies about it. Do you know the nickname Igor Tudor is the ferryman? That's cool. Ferryman? The ferryman. Oh, ferryman. He's going to take you through troubled wars. Yeah. Safety. That's nice. Yeah. We had some questions. Good. Which I haven't prepared. So. Surprise me. Phil, Phil. Go. Alex, Phil. Phil.

25:50There's not much to. Phil. No, no. Try. Try and Phil. Try and Phil. uh well say anything you like say anything you like oh okay i um i uh i forget it i made a mackerel salad at lunchtime right using one of them chopping machines you've seen them on the shopping channel and stuff where you just put it in a little like in the thing and you go bang and yeah quick chop chops out quickly yeah yeah it's shite doesn't make it any quicker at all because to get them into little bits and pieces you still have to slice the onion into bits so that it doesn't you're not eating massive chunks of it i would imagine that the the stuff gets stuck in the thing as well does a little bit yeah yeah there's a little bit my missus is a bit of a wizard with pairing preparing veg because she's she works in kitchen so she's like with an onion yeah yeah i can do that show me how to do that and you're like i'm like it's not about how you do it it's the technique over and over again of processing it it's like how if i'm masturbating i don't need anybody's help don't whang me off yeah don't do that what what what we're doing here i can do this better yeah yeah i thought i had this conversation with some um girls uh female colleagues of mine where they were just um they didn't understand they were like of course we'd be just as good at it i was like this isn't like liberal like rights and stuff like what i'm saying is is you haven't got as much experience of something that i have than this because I do it sometimes six times a day.

27:19You don't still do it six times a day? I have. No, come on. I have. I don't believe you. I think you just lie sometimes. No, not about this. You know how important this is to me. But they're never going to have the same experience. It's like trying to brush your teeth with your left hand. It's all overshot. Yeah, I reckon I could do it better with my left hand than they can do it with their strong hand. I mean, that's up for debate. I'd be willing to that's a good experiment that's something you could try it does feel like someone else is doing it when you use your left hand have you ever sat on it and then tried to run it that way yeah well that feels like someone else is doing it to someone else that's true yeah it was like Jay from the Inbetweeners when he sits on both his hands yeah I do have a question so Muslim Romero he says following a previous discussion as is the tradition Tudor is one inch inside of you while you are one inch inside a potch and is also an inch inside of you telling you to enjoy your lunch while you're also inside levy what direction are you moving i don't think you thought this through at all mate yeah i'm just i'm how could all of those people be inside me at the same time yeah i mean there's there's two options there's two there's two routes it's in and out into me there's two routes so we can't be three people no so uh i don't this i can't answer that uh uh this is he says if igor loses it with arteta being a pillock on the touchline decides to do a wrestling move on in which should it be oh good one good question i need to back suplex yeah or a little mexican destroyer that'd be good i don't know when they can you put the between the legs you flip them over they almost do a back flip in the end you land them on their head but it's like it goes really quickly it's a really quick move devastating it is the razor's edge it's too slow oh just just a plain ddt imagine just walking him over there grab his little lego head in a headlock and just planting him on the floor little ddt yeah i hope he fucking kicks his shit out of me how do you feel about it i just feel like we might get something i don't I don't think I can't see I'm weirdly positive about it I'm not watching the game I can't watch it which I'm quite happy about but I'm I'm weirdly I just feel like at home you feel like we've got nothing to lose is that what it is?

29:44yeah I've got a feeling it's going to be a really I think it might be a bit of a heart back this I think it might be a bit aggressive because the only way we've got of trying we're just going to have to disrupt them and just bully and have to really get them in the mud. As Bardi would say, we're going to have to get in the mud. We have to show that we're capable of getting down in the mud. And I'm still not sure Arsenal are capable of getting down in the mud. Not really. Not with us at that place. If the crowd is up there and up for it, because people can't... We know that this is an opportunity to stop them.

30:19They drop points in any fashion. Yeah. Like a loss would be devastating. Yeah, I'm not saying we'll win this, but I'm saying I don't think I don't think Arsenal I think Arsenal might not win it either so a draw yeah that hurts them big yeah and I think I think there'll be enough about that game but the atmosphere will be there no Frank stuff's gone fine new manager yeah can stop Arsenal we're fighting for our lives we've got injuries out there so backs against the wall type shit they've got to get behind him they've got to get behind the team now like you got rid of Frank right he's done we understand it was never work he was shit we all hated him right or we might not have him on a personal level what we hated what he represented i was starting to i'll be honest with you i was really trying to maintain like he's a nice guy obviously he's a nice guy but what i really want to say is i want to fucking run him over anyway the it we got to the point where he's gone and there are still issues around enic but now is the time to get behind this team because regardless all these other stuff can be a fixed or we can be can be attacked later you've got a new manager coming in there's going to be a massive tifo on the end and there is going to be um a new brand of football and perhaps the players are going to be amplified by by this because you know van der Ven I know like let's not make this another conversation about post but van der Ven really talks glowingly about the style of football that we played that attacking sort of flow and uh and the way of moving the ball forward and he just didn't seem happy none of them seemed happy under frank frank didn't have the dressing room like it was never more obvious i thought and my point around that is uh everyone loves someone who's going to tell them to do what they want because that's essentially what happened romero you know van der verne and romero said it but basically towards the end they went to him and said look we can't play like this we need to play so he was basically just a teacher that was just letting them do what they want right and because because in the end they were they the homework was getting the work was getting handed in at the end of the day for in one particular competition so he was like all right well fine just however you get it done get it done no problem so everyone's going to enjoy that so if you're going to have someone come in that then does add some structure it's got to be someone that commands respect and you really understand why and can see the see the reasons why you're doing it in other benefits which just wasn't happening with frank which is again, basing it purely off of his voice is what I think Tudor might be able to bring.

32:45But what he needs to do is get more out of these players than Frank could. And that's it. You've got to go in there and you've got to tell them what they want to hear and get more out of them. I'm RJ Decker, private investigator, uncovering the sunshine state's darkest secrets. Tuesdays, it's the premiere of ABC's hottest new crime show. RJ freaking Decker as I live and breathe. He's a private eye. It's not a standard murder. It's someone bigger. And a public mess. Trying to get sent back to prison today? You go to prison one time and suddenly it's all the jokes. R.J. Decker. Series premiere. Tuesdays on ABC and stream on Hulu.

33:25They say you should learn something new every day. Like how you should only drink Jägermeister at zero degrees Fahrenheit. Ice cold. Like those frozen cavemen they find. Which makes you wonder, what would a caveman think of Jägermeister? Well, if you served it warm, he'd probably throw it in your face, say, Oonga Boonga, and storm off. And nobody wants that. So drink it cold or not at all. Jägermeister. Damn, that's cold. Drink responsibly. Jägermeister liqueur, 35 % alcohol by volume. Imported by Masked Jägermeister, U.S., White Plains, New York. Pancetta mushroom tortellini. You can eat smart, still fit in your bikini.

33:59I ordered blue apron, I've been happy ever since. They sent pre-portioned meals, I don't make no measurements. sauteed a pancetta then i add the mushrooms large skillet because you can't have too much room garlic pesto tomato paste calabrian chili season the taste order blue apron today

34:24i just i don't know but i'm in a much better position mentally around tottenham Motspur than I was a week ago. Maybe I'm buying all of the propaganda and I'm looking at the videos. Actually, James Alcott's video is really good. I implore people to go over to his channel and watch this because it's balanced. So balanced, actually, that Spurs fans have gone after him saying that this is just because your boy Frank's been sacked, which isn't the case at all. He would never do that. I know he's one of my best mates. Yeah, but they are. People are. they are and i categorically know the man better than almost anybody else on the planet right and he he's just says things as he sees them and one of the issues he said many positive things about about tudor's football in this but one of the issues he said is how vulnerable and it can be if you lose the ball because there's lots of space for teams to attack that said fuck it let's just go out there i was sick of being passive little pussy holes every game yeah we couldn't improve ourselves on anything yeah i think um like i said i've just got this image of sunday being like a proper throwback because i said all of the all of the recipes are there now there's no there's nothing to hate the team for unless they are playing fucking awful and 3-0 down after half an hour.

35:53But to start with, it will be there. And I'm relatively confident of us getting something.

36:02The unique situation about this is that we have the opportunity to set something up really quite spectacularly in the summer for Pochettino. Because if we can just make sure, get these 3-4 wins done off the bounce, then preparation for him and for that can start like now like can start in march like middle of march end of march rather than you know scraping to the end of may uh you know and players not sure about what they do and all the rest of it i just think there's a lot it's such a massive potential to really set yourself up this is like you've got a marathon in eight weeks time these next kind of four weeks.

36:45It's a big one. This is where you get your training in. Alex, have you got a VPN? I have. Which one? Don't say another one. Just pretend it. And why have you got one? Well, I'll be quite honest. I had the account from when we first started dealing with them. I didn't know what VPNs were back in the day. I'm not sure I'm on the right deal I need to have a look at that I'll tell you what a deal is start up for 24 months right now you get 4 months free nordvpn.com forward slash the fighting cock so that's cheaper than paying for it monthly cheaper than paying for it monthly costs about the price of a cup of coffee maybe a month and if you use it correctly it's not difficult to do that you make your money back in a big way so there's tons of things you do get cheaper flights you can get access to services around the planet like youtube premium in venezuela costs less than youtube premium in this country because they can afford less over there so exploit them by going over there and you know well exploit youtube um and uh obviously you've got parental locks at home haven't you no told you i don't believe in them that's ridiculous keep your children safe but also have access to everything you want using more VPN there are many devices that have the internet which they don't 11 year old boy here still got a tablet that is locked only into he can't get on YouTube poor guys stood there watching fucking shit like a dog that you just walk past without patting on the head every time he's sat there with his tablet crack screen watching youtube for kids like in 12 like in high school i mean eventually you'll get it and when he gets it you want to protect him and protect him using nordvpn also all the mucky sites you look at or used to probably change man right now um then you uh you um you help you avoid getting sort of hacked and stuff like that like i'd get hacked if i had 20 minutes myself i'd get hacked no problem not a problem uh sign up to nordvpn support the podcast nordvpn.com forward slash the fighting cock uh the guys over there are legends absolute legends they've been supporting us for such a long time and you lot have been helping us by signing up because they they wouldn't support us if you didn't sign up so that is true that is just the way it goes isn't it um christopher Linden says for me if Flav removes his glasses shaves the top of his head and adds a bit of white to his beard he kind of looks like Tudor now my question does this mean that Igor Tudor will keep us up and win the Champions League I do you know I allowed myself the other day this morning when I was walking the dog I allowed myself to dream a little bit yeah because I'm thinking Avram Grant got Chelsea to the final of the Champions League Roberto Di Matteo won the Champions what's that it's a dog alright your dog yeah but it's you know what can I do he's shut into a different room out there nothing I can do about it so do you realise we have to do fucking chickens for about four years every 30 seconds sorry do you realise this is the most listened to Spurs podcast on the planet yeah but just fucking control your dogs can't I'm sat down on the other side of the room you control your give your missus some daggers she can't even look she's coming down well that's the door but she's come down now someone's at the door all right fucking hell alex this is how don't never say i'm coming on this podcast again if you can't control your environment mate do you know i don't i'm midway through work i'm i've got do you know i'm walking i'm stood on a fucking because i haven't moved do you want to tell me steps i did yesterday 647 right so i was i got for lunch today right didn't i haven't even had a chance to do that so do you know what i've got right now i'm stood on one of them walking pads underneath my desk i thought i'll get some i'll get some walking because i'm not gonna get a chance now because i've said i've got a fucking podcast with with flab at three o 'clock i haven't had a chance i haven't had lunch yet i'm not sat here eating brown bag crisp tiger prawn with a hint of chili and lime oh good they're good yeah yeah they're trying to walk them off so i'm having to do it on a on a walking pad whilst talking to you and you're having a go at me about fucking dog barking how are you walking while we're recording not now but i was yeah what while you're sitting down you're walking no no no doesn't work no but i haven't got any steps i did 647 steps yesterday that's terrible but you're 100 so far today you're fast tracking through to obesity and heart disease i know well i've been in rome for the last five days we've done like 30 000 steps on average a day so yeah once is out sorry carry on what did you do did it bring out the romantic side in your room uh a little bit yeah put it away huh did you put it away what the romantic side afterwards no you're disgusting little thing between your legs oh yeah shower shower i don't understand shower sex i don't get it it's not really but it was kind of hammock sex as well that's that's the i'll never forget that well i've told you that was i mean that it was almost almost pointless that um let's get a couple more questions you've got to go at 45 for two haven't you yeah how does any purchase in a in hammock sex versus the problem yeah you've got one more question one more question spicy spurs says the only way to get enic out is a max mass exodus on game day do you support this can you ask a different question yes no one will ever fucking do it so next no no but I would to boy it would be great to see and we'll just go on oh yeah that's all this keeps happening we will keep leaving that would be great wouldn't it have you seen that video of the Everton fan saying where are you all going sucking 2-0 this is terrible support bloke goes it's 3-0 me it's fucking hell I'm coming then yeah yeah yeah yeah that's quality um yeah One more question and then we've got to wrap this up.

43:07Apologies for the short running time, but it is what it is. Okay, this is a good one for you. On point as well, do you think Igor Trudor joins the players in the showers? Just to show him his massive cock. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Just strides in there. As if it's nothing. There's no one in there, just Byfield in there on his own. He just walks straight in, He gives him a little slap on the arm, gets out and then just washes way too vigorously all over his body and then gets out because he looks quite hairy, quite haired suit. So I reckon he comes out and then just kind of shakes like a dog and just drives himself that way.

43:46What, how, an eight inches? No, it's probably... He's packing. He's definitely packing. I reckon it might be shorter but quite wide, like a Coke can. Yeah. yeah yeah i'd like that uh louis says flav aren't you worried your big man army might be too slow to protect you when you when the moment comes what if they're against a load of small fast nasty little fuckers how does that pan out mate try it louis you want some fucking try it come on bring it he's got plus he's got me i'm i'm big but also with a low center of gravity so i'd be the first one alex you're not part of the big man on yourself i am no how can you be you can't be five for six and be a part of the fucking how's all i five for eight and i'm the hardest out of everyone in this group as we've gone through again and again no i'm sorry i if i look if i set if i set on you if i set on you john bass ben bowman i've got probie the pig who's over in in america he'll rip your head off um i also got i think on the peripheries i've got seb martin and i've got kish fuck it three at least three of these are some of the biggest nerds i've ever they're not nerds they will smash your face in they're not the only problem is John and all we know we know about what we know how Roman's a problem he'll crush your head with his mitt he's like Lenny of Mice and Men all he wants to do is tend the rabbits and all he ends up doing is breaking people's necks but he's young I could upset him with words Alex the only problem is John Bass and we know how to get John Bass by pointing at stuff to do with Brexit or whatever just get him I think with a mistimed swipe of his hand Ben Bowman could accidentally kill a man I don't see it I don't see it can you imagine it just walking around like that actually takes out a woman on a cross can you show me where the bank is I think it's over BAM fuck there's a woman dead skull is smashed by Ben Bowman's mitt anyway he's doing that face that he does on puts on the front of his YouTube videos looking quite quizzical what happened yeah I mean there's got to be a time eventually where YouTube thumbnails have to change.

45:56We know what it is, right? Human beings. Right, this has been a short and swift Fighting Cop podcast. I hope you enjoyed it. We check in after Igor Tudor’s arrival and try to work out how we actually feel about it all. There’s talk of first impressions, whether the new manager bounce is real, and why just hearing him speak made us oddly more relaxed. We get into relegation nerves, what the Arsenal game might look like, and whether this could be the start of setting things up nicely for a big summer and maybe even Pochettino. There’s also chat about ENIC, spending, dressing room vibes, and the usual nonsense along the way. Basically, we’re cautiously hopeful… which probably means trouble.
