1:25It's the fighting. Cook. it's the fighting

1:33it's the fighting cock a camel turn up John as you said absolutely buzzing for this one this is going to be class yeah can't wait this week mate I've had an eye infection and my tooth out and that's not the two worst things that have happened to me so you've had you've had a tooth out yeah literally I've pulled my tooth out I can't really see it it's at the back which is why I had them pull it out rather than doing sort of was it like root canal or out yeah it was a bit boring but they were basically like it's twisted in a weird shape all my teeth are pretty straight except for that one and they're like it will start making all the others fucked up if we don't pull it out so like do you want it pulled out you can have like an implanted one or we can build you this bridge thing and blah blah and I was just like get rid of it no one could see it just pull it out yeah just get rid of it like a real man I had a couple doing uh you gotta have root canal or take out and i went right or root canal obviously because i don't want to be toothless and um both of them root canals fouled two point bad had to come out anyway so the root canals are just they're barbaric and archaic yeah it's really bad for you as well sticking shit in your fucking face so yeah i would rather talk about having my teeth out than the first 20 minutes of last night.

2:50Well, it's quite similar. It's quite similar, really. It was like a pulling teeth. Sean, how are you doing, mate? I'm not too bad. You talk about barbaric and archaic. People normally describe Atletico's football like that, but they looked a lot better than us. They were great, weren't they? Unfired. What team? The thing was, I actually watched them on Saturday night just in sort of preparation for us playing against them. they played Sociedad and it was like it was like the football that they were playing in that game was you know it was a competitive game yeah and there was a load of goals and it was free too but it was a nicer on the eye game of football than I've seen in the Premier League for a couple of seasons interesting and so you look at it you think oh they're meant to be the horrible team we're the horrible team and I always yeah and I always when we used to not be the horrible team I used to wish that the horrible teams would get some rotten bad luck and go 3-0 down after 15 minutes.

3:52And yeah, it's come and bitten us on the arse. So it is. You sent me a message this morning, Sean, 10.05, and you said, if I worked for a tabloid newspaper, I think the headline for last night's game would have to be Kin Hell. As in fucking hell. Kin Hell. Because it works on multiple levels, John. going through hell fucking hell good very clever at 10 15 10 minutes later you've Jordan sent me the back page of the sun with the exact the exact headline kin hell I don't know I don't know about your politics but you probably I mean you could you could get a job working for the sun one day if the electricity and stuff doesn't work out I don't read the old current band mate no it's I don't think anyone starts anymore, do they?

4:45Yeah, I think they just make up the figures. It's the highest selling newspaper. But apparently they haven't even got tits in there anymore. So who's buying it? No, no, no tits. They went woke, didn't they? That's the thing. Suddenly that was the problem with them. Didn't stick to their morals. Anyway, so it's Kinnell, Calamity Keeper, hooked on 17 minutes after horror show. I guess we have to start with Kinski and Igor Tudor's treatment, if you like, and his decision to start him. Obviously, feel for the kid as a professional footballer or in any profession. I don't know what the equivalent would be like in the job.

5:29In my job, it would be like saying something that would get me cancelled and fired within five minutes of a podcast starting or 17 minutes of a podcast starting. I do feel from him, he generally just threw two in the net and then, as we know, after 17 minutes was hooked. What do you think, John? What do you think about it all? So, look, I think there's layers to this, Flav. There's layers, right? The first layer is people have been saying, and when I say people, varying degrees of people. I don't think we've gone for Vacario big on this podcast, but we have mentioned that he's not been in great form and that wouldn't hate it to see Kinski again, just to see if he could maybe do it right.

6:13But I don't think anyone was crying out for it. So if you are Tudor and you're probably thinking the same thing, you've got to look at it realistically and go, okay, well, I can't do it in the league. because if it goes horribly wrong there, that is, you know, my mission is to keep us in the Premier League. So my only real option to test this kid and see if he can actually step up is this game. Is this tie? Because we're probably only going to have these two games and then we're going to go out. So first layer is I can see the logic. If you want to try Kinski, this is basically the only game you can do it, right?

6:47Was this game. So that's one. Two, when it goes horribly wrong after 17 minutes, right? and he's completely lost his head. He actually showed him mercy taking him off. Because if you leave him on, if you leave him on and we go 6-0 down in 45 minutes, that's going to be even worse for the lad, right? And it's also even worse for us. The whole situation just gets exacerbated by putting him in this scenario. So Tude definitely has to take some responsibility because ultimately he chose to put him in. He didn't have to. but fundamentally like it's not worked out and we can I'm sure we'll get onto like the pitch and the issues around the pitch and why lots of players had problems with slipping and it was obviously really just unfortunate I don't think Kinski's like just a terrible footballer and is the worst player to ever play the game but he's had a shocker he's had an absolute nightmare so for me it's like you have to take him off you have to you're the manager of the football team and this player is going to drag you into a situation that's going to get out of hand taking him off then the next layer is like the pylon of like he didn't even shake his hand where's his duty of care why isn't he looking we're 3-0 down we're 3-0 down and he's the manager he's made a call to take him off he's when he comes off he's looking at the pitch he's giving players instructions he's trying to work out like how do i get us out of this mess granted that he's accountable for but like how do i fix this situation i personally feel really sorry for kinski like i think it's not a nice thing to go through and like you said the equivalent for you mate would be like doing something like the overlap but for some reason they've decided to go live and it's broadcast around the world to millions of people live and there's also a live audience of 60 000 people there and then you say something mental that's going to get you cancelled that you can't take back and then it's going to be showed and replayed around the world for weeks if not months if not years so i do feel really sorry for kinski on a human level but on a pure footballing level once he's made the decision to start him the only thing he could have done is what he ultimately what he did and so yeah it was a nightmare but it hasn't cost us any points in the league which is ultimately what he's there to do and when Vicario came on we looked much better so hopefully that argument is over now and we have to move forward.

9:09Sean what did you make of there was a lot of commotion about Igor Tudor not sort of acknowledging him as he came off the pitch um should he have started like is anything that john said do you disagree with well first of all like you're saying about the equivalent of in any of our jobs well like that was like me rewiring the house and it burning down while i'm still in it with all of my friends and family and the people that i care about who were there for some reason. For some reason. Watching you fire out. And, yeah, it was somewhere, it was something like that. As far as, like, he had to come off.

9:49He obviously had to come off because he was, he'd shit his pants, basically, and he was, he wouldn't be able to see the ball through the tears in his eyes. He had to come off. It was just too much of a big thing, and he would have done it again. and so he had to come off I do think that he I do think that you know a caring manager would sort of go over and put an arm around him and whatever but Tudor is not here for very long he will have some sort of a massive bonus for keeping us up and he knows that if he gets sacked he's not going to get a lick of that so all he gives a damn about is us getting three points in the Premier League from somewhere and then hoping that that ball starts rolling and we can maybe get out of it.

10:41He doesn't give a damn about Kinski or his career or his feelings or anything like that. And in the moment, I actually think him looking away from him is throwing him under the bus to a degree because he's trying to drive the narrative that's like, that ain't my fault, that's him. And yeah, you can look at that one way or the other. Like, you know, I feel like he's, he has kind of thrown him under the bus a little bit, but Kinski put himself under the bus. It was, there was no like, there was, there was no discussion to have really. So I don't really care. I think he, it's not like he put him under the bus, like he meant to do it.

11:21It's almost like he sneezed and fell out the window and the bus ran over him. The person who's been getting away with murder is Van De Ven because he slipped as well. and he probably should have got sent off. It's so, but yeah. We'll definitely come on to that, the pitch, Van der Ven. There was also in terms of Igor Trudor's handling of the players, Jed Spence went out of his way to tap him on the shoulder, to shake his hand when he came off. That is, I mean, I don't, it's a horrendous look for Trudor. Spence knew exactly what he was doing and I think it was them showing the world what's going on.

12:04Whether you like it or not, they're not happy with him. All the reports are coming out. Beforehand, I was told that the players hate him. And, you know, the players are not a big fan of us either at the moment. You can tell why Warnock didn't like Spence. He doesn't not speak his mind, right? He does things. He's not a wallflower. It's the opposite of it. But whether or not you think he should do that, but he had a point to make. And you're right. I think the whole problem here is that he's, like you say, he's not a permanent manager. He's here to do a short-term job. He's no, he's not getting, there's no option.

12:46His job isn't to nourish a long-term relationship with these players. I mean, if Pochettino was on the sidelines, it would be in his own best interest to make sure that Kinski is okay. Tudor knew from the minute that second ball went in that Kinski was never going to play for him again, unless Vicario gets injured or something like that happens. So you're right. He just doesn't have any, it's just not worth, I mean, it's worth being a decent human being at all times. And Tudor could have probably done that, but it just doesn't help him or benefit him in any significant way. and that's kind of what we saw play out.

13:27The whole weird thing about last night was despite going 4-0 down in 20 minutes, great save from Vicario as well as he came on, first thing he did and made that save. If we hadn't had that calamitous first 20 minutes, we'd still very much be in that tie. And I actually genuinely, if people were going to call me crazy, I think we still are in it. Yeah, I think we are. You get an early goal while I like, And I don't think we've seen any of those this probably about three years. But if we get an early goal in the second leg, it changes the dynamic of the game completely. And, you know, people say, well, we'll look at our league form and we've only won two in the league all season, but not in the Champions League we haven't.

14:13We've been very comfortable at home in the Champions League. So we will see. The pitch was horrendous. like the players falling over over and over again speaks to a couple of things atletico are obviously watering the pitch and can treat and making it in that play that way in order to give them some sort of benefit but how is it that we're only finding out when the players on the pitch how bad it is surely they look walking on it beforehand surely they're thinking we need longer blades or deeper blades tonight because the pitch is slick as fuck and we need that extra grip because their players weren't falling over and obviously they wouldn't because they played on it all season they know what it is and i was just thinking i was like is this was this just for us or is this for everybody and it's quite interesting i found um this article football.london i think it was ryan taylor wrote it um atletico madrid remain adamant recent issues with the riyad air metropolitano pitcher due to poor weather conditions tottenham fell victim to a slippery pitch in the Champions League on Tuesday evening.

15:22As goalkeeper Kinski, substituted by the last 70 minutes, and Mickey van der Ven, they both lost their footing, gifting the hosts the opening free goals via Llorente, Griezmann and Alvarez. However, calamitous spurs are not the only side to encounter problems with this turf, as Barcelona also raised concerns about the quality of grass following their 4-0 Copa del Rey's semi-final first leg capitulation at the hands of Atletico on February 12th. Shortly after resigning as Barcelona president, Laporta, who will stand again, hit out over the lubricous Metropolitan Arnou pitch after goalkeeper Joanne Garcia miscontrolled Atletico opener.

16:08Several other Barcelona players also ended up on deck during a one-sided contest. Now, what was interesting, and Laporte made another quote about it, what was interesting is that Griezmann said this, because they went away to Betis and beat them 5-0 in the quarterfinals. And three days later, they lost 1-0. Griezmann said this, Atfleco's best match of the season, the away win at Betis, was maybe because of the pitch. It's the best in Spain. Ours doesn't help much and makes things difficult for us. We're a team that tries to play. We move around a lot. We were involved off the ball. and it helps the team that has it a lot.

16:43But the pitch just isn't good. We slipped, it came up. So, and a team like Alati needs a quality pitch to play on. So they're complaining about the pitch as well, but they're just more used to it than the teams that come. Well, that'll be good when they come to our ground, which is now being spoke about as like, all you do is get injured. So it's basically, this leg is like, first leg, everyone's slipping over. Second leg, like, cruciate's left, right and centre. So this is why give us a chance, because maybe Griezmann will do his cruciate in the first five minutes and we might be able to get back into the tie um yeah look the slipping over thing was was wild and i hadn't heard anything about it before the game but yeah subsequently there's like loads of clips and loads of games where players are slipping over and obviously if you are used to that obviously it's the same for both teams but if you're sort of prepared and used to that yeah you can somewhat mitigate a little bit of that which seems to give them an advantage so but it doesn't change the fact that you know we still ship those goals and we obviously got back into the game when they were in a position of you know being pretty comfortable so it's hard to tell actually how well we performed but clearly it had an impact and again this may be reeks of like did anyone know that going in did we make any preparation for that is anyone in any way looking at things like this ahead of games and thinking about how we can mitigate that doesn't seem like it seems like it was a shock to everyone involved so that's a worry again like what are we what are we doing in those situations but um the commentary was driving all of us mad in the whatsapp group yesterday when they just haley mccoy just kept going they need to do something about their boots it's like well what do you want them to do like start wearing like mountain climbers grippers to like sort of like walking poles like once they've got the boots on they've got on and they're the longest studs they've got with them what else do you want them to do that it's the pitch not the boots and there's not really much you can do at that point yeah um yeah Adam McCoy is a fucking pain he's I used to like his energy now I just can't barely listen to him um I was just thinking but maybe they have like they were different boots there's a couple of different types of not different boots but um Atleti would have had boots that are suitable for the pitch we obviously didn't that's why our players are falling over and there's there aren't i wondered if there was like a universal depth to the tread of the stud or the blade and apparently there's not there's like three or four different lengths that you can go to depending on what you're wearing whether you have screwing metal studs or uh which is really good for a lot of soft and muddy grass like that um and then you've got blades and molded studs which are more likely to be used in like a firm setting i don't know if they just use the same boots as they always do.

19:30I don't know, but whatever it was, it was fucking annoying. Every time anything decent happened, someone went over.

19:37What, did you think the pitch played a massive part of it or were you just looking for excuses, Sean? 100%, yeah. I mean, there was too many of them slipping. I've seen it before where a certain player's been slipping and he does change his boots on the side of the pitch. I've seen that a few times over the years, but when they're all slipping. I had the radio on today and Adrian Durham was saying, I think he was covering the game out there, and he was saying that Kinski was slipping in the warm-up. Really? And, yeah, he said that they'd spotted him slipping in the warm-up. And, yeah, it's just one of them.

20:16Like I say, Danzo slipped, Van der Venz slipped. They're all slipping all over the place. and it's something that if it is something that there's been a history of it that's the kind of research you need to be doing but it just ties into the way that I feel that the club is at the moment where it almost feels like if you've ever worked for a company that's kind of going down the drain and it's and it's you know you've you've got a buyout or a takeover a merger and you just get into that messy stage that's in between where it's like, okay, we've still got to carry on our jobs, but we know that the slate's going to get wiped clear and it's going to be new things on the horizon.

20:59And people just take their eye off the ball and they just end up not really caring so much. And I just think if you're going into that kind of detail, I don't you know I hate to big him up but I don't see the likes of Arteta going there and not having that homework done I feel like they no stone is left unturned and it's like that's that's what you need to be doing but it just doesn't surprise me that we've fallen for such a schoolboy era if there was any kind of thing where they might have set it up or done it but I know there was heavy rainfall as well, apparently. So it's one of those. But they certainly weren't going to let us know.

21:44But you've just got to do your homework. It doesn't – you're guessing because you obviously don't know. But it doesn't surprise me. But they must have – like given the fact that I've just read this article and like this is a massive issue, like the preparation. They might have done the preparation. It just still didn't work. but it just seemed like just because of how bad it was you can't be losing games you can't it comes down to negligence and you cannot be losing games in the way we did last night because we the pitch wasn't playable it it is playable because atletico madrid were able to play on it betis went to there and beat atletico madrid 1-0 in february so something else went on And we've lost, essentially knocked out of the Champions League because our players kept falling over.

22:36Like, that is ridiculous. We've got so much going on in this season with Spurs. So many terrible things. Players falling over shouldn't be in the conversation. We're the kings of just like shooting ourselves in the foot. Like, you know, Old Trafford, you know, you look like you're half in the game and it's just Romero does what he does. Palace you know Van der Ven does what he does but you look at like big games of the past like Inter Milan away back then it's like 4-0 down before half time we went to the Bernabeu crouch went and got sent off Champions League final Gomez was sent off in the Inter Milan game that was it yeah that was that was what was going through my head at half time I was like you need a Gareth Bale to kind of rescue this situation when we you know but yeah it just always seems to be the case and it does other people call it Spursy that's the level, that's the word that's given but it is just getting nervous in these kind of situations that's me trying to get away from using that word but I do kind of feel like there is something at the club where when the pressure is really on, how often do we see a situation where like whatever situation we're in in the league the results go our way and then you look at it and it's like if we win this game, we can go to wherever.

24:01We will just never capitalise on it, ever. What is it though? What? I just feel like it's a culture. It's got to be a culture at the club. Again, on the radio, I was listening to John Obi Mikkel and he was talking about life under Abramovich and we want winners and that's what we want to get. We're going to employ winners. and so it's winners throughout that chess in room no one takes any like rubbish and man united had it and you you're in that situation of like you've got winners everywhere you hold everyone account to account that's around you and i just think that like in our lifetimes realistic lifetimes of watching tottenham we're not a serious club we never have been we've had stars and those stars have had to go elsewhere to fulfill their potential.

24:54And it's because I just think that if you are in that dressing room at any time over the last 30-odd years, we're not serious. And so when you get to a stage where everything, the stars align and we find ourselves on the big stage and we've got a chance to do something, we don't even believe it. They're talking about when Levy bought the watches for the team and Hugo Lloris called it out. of course he called it out because he's sat in that france dressing room with winners and one he knows that that's not how you behave and that's that's how i felt like people at the time went a bit over the top bloody hell you've had a rolex like shut up but it is it is um proof of what the culture is at the club and it's still there now even there even that that's all been given a rolex saw that watch a you know a week it was in his book wasn't it it was given it a week before they all got a watch for getting to the champions league final and he was thinking like you said what what's going on like why giving us we haven't won anything we haven't done anything and it was almost like that culture that that has been set out by daniel evie that is that they say you should learn something new every day like how you should only drink jägermeister at zero degrees Fahrenheit, ice cold.

26:13Like those frozen cavemen they find, which makes you wonder, what would a caveman think of Jägermeister? Well, if you served it warm, he'd probably throw it in your face, say, Oonga Boonga, and storm off. And nobody wants that. So drink it cold or not at all. Jägermeister, damn, that's cold. Drink responsibly, Jägermeister liqueur, 35 % alcohol by volume, imported by masked Jägermeister, US White Plains, New York. There's a certain level which is, if you achieve this, that's enough. whereas at Chelsea previously under Abramovich at Manchester United at Liverpool that would have never happened and what was a well-meaning thing it was something that I'm sure came from the right place from Daniel Levy gave out the wrong message because you get the reward after you've won not just for getting there at that level but this is the thing though mate and I think Sean's it now on the head right It's like the culture from the very top and the ownership and the way they see things.

27:11If you think about all the historical top clubs in the league, right? The Scumbags, Chelsea, Liverpool, City, let's say over the last few years, those teams. If you think about their ownership, what do you think about them? Not much, right? Because the only thing that we really know about them is that they're the owners of the football club because their main focus is on their football team being successful. if you ask most people about Tottenham's ownership they'll talk to you about Daniel Levy about oh you've got that amazing stadium you've got Beyonce and you've got the NFL and you've got the golf carts and that's become like a meme for us but I think there's an important message in there which is like the focus of the leadership of Tottenham Hotspur football club are actually focused on the like wider business program what can we build a hotel can we like do all this other stuff to generate revenue that oh yeah maybe sometimes that will trickle down to the football team but anyway let's get back to talking about this other revenue stream we're going to build whereas like arsenal's ownership want them to win the league that's it that's what they're focused on what are arsenal doing aside from being arsenal football team what are they doing what the owner's doing nobody knows because that's what they're focused on what a city's city the city group as much as it's like we can get into the whole like sports washing and all all this other stuff they're trying to do by having a football club.

28:30But what is their sole focus? It's on that team winning everything. What are Liverpool's owners doing? The same thing. What I cannot seem to understand is how they expect to have all those other things be so high profile and then wonder almost why it's not working on the pitch. And I do think that's exactly right. It's that mentality that trickles into, oh, we got to a final. That's good. We weren't expecting it. whereas we should have been going no no we now need to go and win this because that's what we do because we are this brilliant like historical football club that's done well in europe that's what we're going to do and if we do it we'll find a way to reward you so go and do it all of this stuff all of our success has been like on the pitch has been sort of by accident and the culture of the club is is the the thing that's causing us issues we've seen even recently right about the stories about basically the training ground is too comfortable and the players like they like it too much there's not it's like too soft and too nice just because you have a nice like actual environment that doesn't mean that it can be too comfortable i mean like i've been to city's ground and like their training facilities they're well nice they're really nice right just can i give you just so cut to you there john right exactly to that point psg's training ground for so long was an absolute shitty.

29:52They had Neymar, Messi and Mbappe and the place was not suitable for a Premier League side or not least one that can have those sort of stars. Manchester United were winning trophies when Charrington was in desperate need of upgrade. Those facilities are really certainly if they're poor have no damaging effect on the overall aim of a manager and a group players if they believe they're winners whereas at spurs we've kind of almost like we're like 10 years ahead of where our player level is do you know what i mean so it seeps into the type of player we sign as well we we sign the types of players that we can get and we can afford within our budget and these players lots of their transfer fees are quite bloated even when we sign them like it's before so they've got a they've got someone like selanke for example bloated fee like so he's at that situation where he can walk into these like parties or wherever he's going where he's meeting up with other footballers and he's like you know i play for top them i've i've got this price tag and whatever he feels like he's there but he ain't shown me he's there and he ain't one of our worst players.

31:14He's one of our better players. You have some players you can have a go at. That's a slanky problem. Yeah, but this is what I mean. And then, you know, Sessegnon came in. You know, Brennan Johnson. There's, you know, Davinson Sanchez. You feel like when they're signed, they already know in their career, this is going to be the peak of my powers. you like i'm not gonna go on from this or be better i'm there i've made it i'm at a club i don't even have to win anything if i win something it's a miracle it's you're not expected to win anything and they're there and they turn up and that's what we've got that's what we've signed for ages we don't sign people that want to win we sign people who want the contract that they're on the price fee they've got, the social media follow-ins, and that's what they give a damn about.

32:09They're not here to be serious. It's a big problem. It's a problem that could potentially be solved by Pochettino returning. And I keep harking back to something that he said early on when he was talking about signings and what he looks for in players. And he said this is verbatim. You don't sign for Tottenham to play. You sign for Tottenham to train. Ergo, you're earning your right. When you're ready, when you've earned your right, you will play. And you will stay in that team if you deserve to be in the team. If you think what was different between that bunch of players that he had 2016 to 2018 was not that they were a clutch of great players.

32:58Obviously, they were. You need to buy quality. but you need to instill in that quality a mindset, which means you can deal with moments like last night and deal with tough games against rivals and come out on top more times than not. And that's what, that's what he created. We felt like a different football club when he was there and we were all made to believe, and we're still living in that moment. I think all of us are still living in that 2016, 2017 season where we look like a proper football club for the first time in a long time and pretty much haven't since. And so that's why I think we're all clamouring and so desperate for him to come back.

33:42Like he was on the plane. They were singing at him. I mean, I don't want to burst any bubbles, but he might have been over there to watch Cordose because he's literally his midfield general for USA. But he also might have been looking at Spurs. It's not like he couldn't watch that game on video. he was looking at Spurs he was there for us mate he was there for us but just quickly mate I think you've touched on something there that's really interesting about Poch and if I look back on like the managers who gave us not only like good football and actually successful teams but also were in line with that culture that we were talking about it's Martignal, Harry Redknapp, Pochettino and to a certain extent Ange right and Ange also won a trophy right and a big one as part of that Now, all of those managers had faults, and you can argue whether or not you think any of them deserved to get sacked or whatever, but they all basically got treated pretty badly in the end.

34:39Like, Joel got sacked at half-time, despite what he'd done for us. The Redknapp situation was slightly different, but Potch was due a rebuild and probably earned the right to get one, and that was cut short because let's bring in Jose because that's the new shiny thing. Ange wins a European trophy, and yeah, okay, fair enough, the league form was going wrong, but he didn't get another chance to correct that. He just got shipped out. It's things like that where it's like, even when you stumble into these managers who have the right culture and the right fit, we don't back them up when it matters, right?

35:10We don't actually like double down and like push things forward to keep that momentum of like, well, we've got the right culture. We just, you know, we need to like double down on players and we need to like introduce, you know, the next level. We need to really push this idea of like, we are a club that hires winners and we're getting closer, but we need more and we need to keep pushing. And all of those different managers have basically hit the same brick wall, which is when it actually, they did their bit, right? They dragged us into a position where we could strike, where we could really kick on and they were never backed and pushed.

35:40And that will never change as long as like the culture at the very top of the club doesn't change. It will remain the same. Do you know what I find about that list of managers though? And I've always kind of felt this, that Daniel Levy always had a type of manager that he wanted. So over his time, he had statement managers that he kind of brought in and thought, this is what we're going to do. We're going to back this guy. And then in between them, he had almost like fix-it managers. And it was tended to be that the fix-it ones ended up, you know, he went out all out, got Santini, and it didn't work.

Read the full transcript

36:20and then Joel kind of stepped in from behind the scenes and then Joel went away and then it was like, oh, let's go after one day Ramos because he'd won a couple of UEFA cups and then it was two points from eight games. Harry will keep us up and then he got us sort of up so far and it just goes one after the other after the other and the one that they put lots of thought into and they're planning on backing, like your AVB, for example, like he's going to be the uh savior it doesn't work and then potch ends up being your man who's like done lots of people weren't really happy to have potch at the time he was he was at south hampton he's come in he's he's ended up doing the job it's gone away it's like marino will be your man whenever he's allowed he's asked to really think it out and make a decision he cocks it up and then he'll make a complete U-turn, do something to save the situation.

37:22Something will be flourishing, but it just would irk him. He wouldn't like that. That was the guy and he's doing it. So let's give him the chop and let's go for someone else. It's just mismanagement. Through that period where we had the opportunity from a position of strength to get stronger. And as you were talking there, Sean, I was thinking about Harry Redknapp, that season where we were third at Christmas and he brought in Luis Aja and Ryan Nelson. And then you think of the team we had under Pochettino, which required two big players and we would have won the league. If we would have improved that squad with two proper big signings, and it might have really hamstrung us financially, he just wasn't willing to do it.

38:13We went two windows without signing a player. And the fallout to that in the long run destroyed Potch, destroyed our faith in Potch, which is even worse. And this sort of ludicrous run to the Champions League final, which you will never see again. People think like Spurs were breaking and falling apart in that season. They were 100 % right. That squad was falling apart. And you look at that Champions League run. We had no right to get to the final. We should have been out in the group stages. We lost our first two matches in the group stages. I think, or we may have drawn one. We had to go to the Nou Camp and get a point just to get out of the group stages.

38:50Somehow did it. We beat Dortmund convincingly. Then we had Ajax. And you're like, we should have been out of that. That was ridiculous what we did to Ajax. Sorry, sorry, Manchester City. It was ridiculous what we did to Manchester City. I don't even think that goal, I think Sterling, he didn't, it got ruled out for something. It was Aguero offside. Right. And he was offside. Okay. all right fair enough all right you're ruining my point but i i understand truth is important but but it was a mental game right those games don't happen again and i access another another one and what all that did in the most sort of horrible cliched way was paper over what the issues were was that the damage had been done two seasons before or or the season before where we didn't sign anyone and yes at the time and i've said it on this podcast at the time well they're of mitigating circumstances i really understand to some degree why people got so wound up with me like people like over enoch out and they would listen to this podcast and they go this fucking geez i can't get leave his cock out of his mouth and it weren't that all right i didn't i never did that but the the the point is is there were a lot of people predicting this being an issue and it has turned out to be an issue and what we're probably suffering from now is the indecision the lack of ambition and the restrictive wage structure that daniel levy put in place um and so all of this is probably his fault still and he will look at it and probably and think i walked away from that and uh you know look what's happened but he'd be incorrect in my opinion um there was a couple of other times that we could have we could have really pushed on but i can't remember what the others others were now but it was always this reason why there's also there's always something going on and then there's a spurs in terms of spurs as well it's like like we got harry redknapp he seems happy and he's like and you know like he wants the england job and then he's fucking being charged with tax fraud and you're like what the fuck is going on with this football club if he's arsenal it's just plain sailing everything's all right i think he's a lego head and he's a bit of a wanker everything's fine for them in ours we've got fucking tax fraud we've got dogs being named in bank accounts you got fucking contes setting fire to the football club you got Mourinho talking about pillows it's like why can't we just be a normal football club and and we won't be until it comes from strong leadership and in the culture which is what you was talking about earlier Sean which means that we have to behave in in in a way that is uh aligned with a successful football club and it isn't just Pochettino it's everything it's We all have that dream trip we've been wishing we could go on, but too often life, or usually price, gets in the way.

Payment processing fees and boosting fees still apply. See website for details. It's Lange. It's Venkatesh. it's it's that it's the lewis family and and right now from an outside perspective i don't know how you how you guys feel and john we've talked at length of this about this on both on your podcast big john basho and on the air and and basically everywhere we speak um that we don't know what's going on behind the scenes there doesn't seem to be any legitimate um structure to what we're doing if we believe in everything we read which we shouldn't because a lot of people produce content in order to gain an audience and then monetize it.

43:25So you can't believe everything you read. But the general consensus is that there are perhaps people in the Lewis family making an extended family, making footballing decisions and circumnavigating the obstacle of Vina Venkatesem and Lange. And that's an issue. There's no cohesion between the CEO, the sporting director and the owners. And if there is no cohesion, we can never get out of this mess which means non-footballing people have to make really important footballing decisions if they don't believe in vino van kiteshman langer they have to replace them they don't have the fat the grounding to understand what they're trying to put in place if they don't want like i know there's this report coming out that that they they're using a agency to find the next director of football what is fucking going on but this this is where it goes wrong mate right it's like if if now flab you were like right i want to put on uh some battles some rap battles at a fighting cock show right and you've got sean and tony d and people like that in your circle that are experts in that area know and live and breathe that area right and you went rather than talk to them i'll go out to a random agency and i'll see if bristol exactly i'll ask alex from bristol and see if he can sort out for me i've got some really simple advice for the owners of the football club bring back david pleat go and speak to glenn hoddle like go and speak to people who have been in the if you don't want to hire him just talk to harry redknapp for an afternoon and go like where do you think we're going wrong speak to 20 people who have been involved in the club over the years that are that have a love and a loyalty speak to ledley king speak to michael dawson germain defoe some of the like more recent players speak to harry kane what what went wrong why did you want to leave what did you feel that we failed start speaking to people who know about football right so that you can at least go okay out of the 20 people that we spoke to 18 of them said this was a major problem let's see if we can address that or if we're going to hire someone who's going to come in as director of football or our next ceo they need to be strong in that area because that's an area of weakness i just don't understand this like just stubborn an unwillingness to talk to people who know about football and who know and care about Tottenham Hotspur.

45:42I don't understand what the problem is. Like, Levy fired David Pley, who was basically like on a nothing salary, just sort of an ambassador to the club, who'd occasionally go, oh, by the way, there's Dele Alli down the road. You might want to sign him for five million. He might be one of the best players you've ever had. Just see you later, right? Getting rid of people like that because of quote-unquote data, and we've got analysts now, we don't need that, is that sort of hubris that's got us into this mess. Go back to those people and say, look, we want to welcome you back into the club. We want to find a way to get you involved.

46:15We want to hear what you've got to say. We want to feel the history of the club again in this club. Please come back and talk to us. That would be a start, right? They would at least have some understanding of what's going on. Talk to the trust. Talk to some fan group. Actually listen to those people. And if they did that, then they would come to the conclusion that the people that they've got in decisions of power are not the right people. Like, Vinay needs to go. Like, I know we spoke on my pod a little while back, and we spoke on here before about, in his position, you know, maybe he needs more time, it's bigger than that, blah, blah, blah.

46:47I actually think, like, in this specific scenario, he has to go. Like, I think the ex-Arsenal thing is actually a problem for us. Just from an optics point of view, it's a big issue. And I also think that he's been terrible. Like, every single decision he's making, or actually the lack of decisions he's making is having a material impact. We don't need a director for, we're not signing anyone now, so Langer can go as well. So they should just get on with this and start having these conversations because whether we stay up or go down, this cultural reset's got to happen, mate. It does. Cultural reset does have to happen.

47:22But you need someone who understands the game to make those decisions and set that culture, set that new culture. you can't come from Dan Bulcher or whatever his name is and that's what if you remove Langer and Vinkertesham that's what will happen unless they can employ someone who is able to do that from the ground up I think a stop gap for this and I keep banging this drum would be Pochettino because he could I'm not necessarily go out and sign players but set that culture the problem is it's about it's a bit arse about face because it shouldn't be him it should be it should be a director if you're going to have a director of football which will big clubs have these days then it it should be that person hiring the net manager based on the culture and the direction of football and the direction of the football club as defined by him or her so it's a it we are in a fucking mess i mean i think really i think um i think peratity game was probably bigger than we thought but um i don't know let me just quickly um remind you about something more important than all this and That's the fact that The Fine Cock is sponsored by NordVPN.

48:33NordVPN.com forward slash The Fine Cock podcast. Let me tell you some decent stuff you can do with NordVPN. It encrypts your internet traffic and hides your IP address, making it harder for hackers and advertisers and internet providers to track what you're doing online. So that's good. We can imagine exactly why that is the case. Stay safe on public Wi-Fi. So it creates an encrypted tunnel between your device and the internet. If you live in a shared house and you feel like your internet is getting throttled nordvpn removes that you can get access to all high quality content and it removes the doesn't allow the ips to do that ips isp uh and uh finally if you're in another part of the sorry if you live in this country but you want to access content for another part of the globe there's a massive huge global server network you can access countries in any part of the world 120 countries as it stands and all the content that they have there nordvpn.com forward slash the fighting cock the link is in the description below 30 day money back guarantee if you don't like it you can you can um you can ask for your money back it's not a problem if you do that know that you know if spurs do go down i'm in banging trouble i'm banging to sean you've you've obviously you've signed up to it 100 %

49:53yeah yeah see that's it that energy is what I need Van de Ven said said this after the game it's just really difficult we have an important match this weekend that I can't attend because I'm suspended of course but it's truly terrible time how am I feeling mentally it's tough I can tell you really tough I have to keep this going this is life I have to keep going this is life Van Aven is completely shut out by the fans' reactions on social media. I'm not on my phone anymore. I'm completely done with it. Only family and stuff. On the match, he said, terrible, to be honest, doomsday scenario. Everything that could go wrong in the first 20 minutes went wrong.

50:32On the state of the pitch, he says, everyone slips, including me. Those moments you simply can't do anything about it. I can't hardly stand here and start blaming the pitch. And on Kinski, he says it's terrible for him too. He's making his debut. You wouldn't wish this on anyone.

50:48you know that thing about the social media i've been hearing quite a lot about how abusive and how bad it's been and you can understand why because this is the hardest most difficult period of supporting spurs that all of us have experienced probably ever i would say i think i would say this moment is this team at this moment the direction of travel i don't know if you boys can in any way sort of contradict what i'm saying it feels like it's the worst do you can you remember a period as bad as this sean ever are you talking about football in like tottenham or are you talking about social media no so i'm going to come onto social media but no the no the football at spurs like you know how bad it's been where we're heading the kind of yeah 100 it's the it's the word it's you know we've as fans lived a rocky road and we're a weathered bunch like you know i just think that i think that the likes of like arsenal fans chelsea fans all these all these if they went through half of what we went through they'd they'd really and they have like i mean we saw when arsel went down to eighth and it was all like wenger out and all this and then well sorry that was before they went to eighth and it's like we just saw how toxic they got with relatively not they know nowhere near as bad as what we've been through but we feel like we've seen it all and it is like it's that mick mccarthy like it can't get worse than this it can like it's it's like no one thought it can but it is right now like so everything else every spursy thing man city coming back from you know from three nil down at white art lane when they were down to 10 men you know all these things that we thought only happened to us they only happened to us we've we've surely we've completed the book and then i'm still sending text messages out to people after 20 minutes going this only happens to us it's you know this this doesn't happen to anybody else and um and it does and we're just in this state i said oblivion last time and that is where we are like it's there is we're going in one direction and we're going there really really fast and it's yeah it's thought it couldn't it can't get worse than this surely like we're there now we've we've basically hit rock bottom and then started digging just to see how far we can go further down I thought we'd seen the worst of it this season I thought it can't get any worse it can't get any worse like it's been really bad this season it's like everything everything's bad like last night I'm watching it on the TV I think it was about 3-0 maybe 4-0 somewhere within that like 4 minute window and I'm there and I've got the headphones on because the missus will be doing something else in the room but I'm watching it on the tv and she's like oh I think I'm gonna go to bed and I'm like ah this is going off in a minute and she's like oh so I could watch Bridgerton and I'm like no no no no I was joking so but then I did step up and started frying darts while the game was on so I was like half watching it and I was just like god this is so hard to enjoy I have to like do something else while I'm watching it.

54:23Mate, we were down to four. Four one it was. And then it went down to five one. It was five one, wasn't it? And then we pulled one back. I went and started making dinner because I hadn't eaten. And I'm like, I'm hungry. Am I going to sit and watch this? Is it going to make me feel terrible? Or should I do something for myself and actually put food in my body? And that's what I did. I went in. I was halfway through a veggie burger. And I heard Solanke scored. And I walked in and looked at my missus. And she looked at me as if it's, is this good? Because Spurs have scored. This must be good. Are you a bit happier?

54:59And obviously, I was kind of dismissive. I don't watch the goal go in. Like, big up, Solanke. We needed that. We're still in the tie, but I just didn't have any time. I just fucking was done with it. It's my missus' birthday. It's my missus' birthday, right? And I usually go and watch it with me, old man. And patrons of the fighting cult where we realised that me and my step-mum had a bit of a set-toe. She's 74. I shouldn't be having set-toes, my 74-year-old step-mum. But she had to be told. You know, the worst part of this week might not have been, actually, Atletico Madrid losing there. It was almost certainly the Crystal Palace game, that 10-minute period.

55:42And I've said this before, but my step-mum was saying, you won't go down. You won't go down. Of course you won't go down. and I'm like, I know she's being nice. I can't deal with this because you don't know that we, I know we could go down. You don't know. You don't know, right? But she's 74. So I've got to hold that inside. I've got to hold it inside. I'm not going to have a go at my 74 year old mum. That'd be terrible. Terrible to do that. She's 74. I've not had that with my step mum, but I've had that with so many people the last month or so. You know, I walk in the old sailors and they all know I'm Tottenham and whatever.

56:21And it'd be like, we're talking going back four weeks and they're like, Sean, do you reckon Tottenham could get sucked into it? Sucked into it? I was like, bloody hell, we've been spat out the other side. They're like, no, no, you won't go. I'm like, mate, we are gone. That conversation fast, ages ago. They may know about football, right? My step-mum don't know fucking nothing about football. I said this before, we were getting done on the counter-attack the other day against Fulham and my step-mom was banging on about the curtain she just made. And I'm like, I can't deal with these two conversations.

56:58They're separate things. Anyway, that's what Tottenham's done to us. What was the reason why I was asking if this was the darkest time? About Van de Ven saying he's coming off social media. Nice one. I think it felt like you were waiting for us to get back to that, John, because you've got something to say. I have it on good authority that the players are... some of the players are, they're just really struggling with how much abuse they're receiving. And on a human level, at some point, that will get to them. Like you heard Van de Ven say there, I just don't deal with it anymore. I can't, like, we are fans and our job is to support the team as much as we can.

57:40We're going to get frustrated as we all do. But this abuse that they're receiving online is getting through and they're reacting to it and it's it's got to stop right and it's not just abuse of their it's personal abuse of like the black players are receiving racist abuse constantly because we're shit that's not acceptable and it has an impact so you you think you you you're struggling to deal with this shit right you're struggling to deal with how bad it is and you think i'm you know what i'm just gonna fire off a cheap tweet to jed spencer or a doggy whoever it might be and you think that they're not hearing it and they're not receiving it and they're not thinking this you know this fan base does not care about me and it creates this division that we find ourselves in we've got if you listen to this if you've ever done that don't be a cunt stop being a cunt and abusing the players i get if you're angry but don't fucking attack the way they look or the color of their skin or don't call fucking van der reyn a lanky beanpole don't do that it's going affect his mentality do you regret sending that to him then yeah i do apologize i want to apologize to you van then you're not a lanky beanpole you're a beautiful man um but the social media thing is is an issue the fact that he's not looking at his phone brendan johnson is is is has got rid of social media dejan kulusevsky if you believe reports has locked comments on all of his social media like what are we doing here why are we doing it look are anyone like you said anyone who's sending abuse to anyone or not even just on social media just abusing people for you know immutable characteristics or otherwise wilt if they did it if the jess fence came up to you or van der vink came up to you you would fucking wilt like a flower of course so look can we just like accept the fact that we're not like saying that that's okay right we agree that that's a really fucking bad thing to do.

59:32Pause. Next thing I'm going to say is this, and I don't want to go down the whole like victim blaming thing, right? But there is another way to look at this stuff, which is there are certain risks associated to certain things, which is nobody should go to bed at night and expect to be burgled, right? But we still lock our doors, don't we? Right? Because we know there are bad people out there doing bad things. I'm surprised that professional footballers have social media at all. Yeah. I'm surprised because nothing good will come from that. you're in the public eye unfortunately although we all agree nobody should be sending them horrible stuff we know they're going to you know they're going to even when even when teams are winning every game they're getting abused by people there's racist lunatics out there sending all sorts of mad shit right so again i don't want to go down this room with like oh but they're victims you're blaming them like yeah i hear that it's not ideal but there's also a world where you just have to be realistic about this stuff if you're in the public eye social media isn't like social media for us it just isn't right which is why they are compensated handsomely for being professional footballers they get paid fortunes and again that doesn't mean it gives anyone a right to abuse them but there are look there's certain level of like if you want to protect yourself you're gonna have to if you're if you're a black footballer it's fine if you're receiving racist abuse is that what you're saying do you think that's what i'm saying i don't think that's what sorry that was horrendous of me sorry yeah it was awful so so and this is my point we all lock our doors right we all lock our doors we shouldn't have to you shouldn't have to do that but we do right so it's the same thing social media if you're a professional footballer lock your door because there's going to be people out there and that sort of the tone of is basically going that's one of the reasons why we've been so shit is basically sort of victim blaming the normal fans who aren't abusing you like we're also collectively responsible for idiots who also happen to support the same football club as being responsible and that to me like sort of winds me up because i'm like you lot get paid millions of pounds to be abused we get abused for free in fact we're paying into this football club and we're getting abused in the street i was literally walking down the road from my house back from the gym with a Spurs top on, and someone called me a YC.

1:01:58Yeah? Really? Yeah. Just walking along. And I went, yeah, cheers, mate. Come on, you Spurs. I just had to take it on the chin. I pay basically into the club, essentially, to support the club. I'm getting abused. And I'm sure lots of other people get all sorts of varying degrees of shit. There are people spending hundreds of thousands of pounds to go and watch that shit yesterday. And they're not getting nothing. They're just not regular people on regular wages in a cost of living crisis. What about them? I'm sorry. I'm going to find it quite difficult to feel sorry for players who choose to be on social media and then cry about getting abused on that.

1:02:35Don't be on there then. And I know that's a harsh reality, but it's the same way as like if you don't lock your door and you get burgled, I don't feel as sorry for you as someone who does lock their door and gets burgled. Soz. It's just how I feel. I mean, that's fine if you feel that way, John. This is going to come back to bite me, isn't it? I don't agree, but it's up to you. I actually quite like Andy Aloko, but...

1:03:05I think he's all right.

1:03:10Just a couple of things we've got to talk about beforehand. Igor Trudeau hasn't been sacked. should he be sacked quickly boys um he's definitely gonna take the according to ali gold the presser on friday which means he's doing the liverpool game should should would you fire him now sean yeah i'd never have been never have employed him in the first place um absolutely out there's there you know we're not we're not sport with options yeah i was oh yeah i was looking In the WhatsApp group earlier, it was like, oh, we were saying, I think Sean Dyche was two to one on. I'd have him. I don't know if he would take the job.

1:03:53Roll the Dyche. Someone else said that in our WhatsApp after you said that today as well, yeah. I didn't come up. It's your unoriginal at all. Kidell. Kidell. No, 100%, yes. He should have gone this morning. Yeah, I agree. John? Same. yeah I'm slightly different to Sean in the sense that I when he got hired I was like okay yeah I see this I hope it works let's let's get on board with this he's the hardest manager in the prem this is great he'll smash him up but what we've realized is these babies they don't respond they just don't respond to that like they just don't so what they need is like you know an arm around the shoulder someone to to gm up and that's not him so yeah I would also sack him and we need to bring someone in pretty quickly that fits that profile I wanted Harry Redknapp looks like he's A, at Cheltenham, B, in the jungle, and C, possibly the 100 years old.

1:04:44What do you mean in the jungle? He's going into Celebrity Jungle, isn't he? Is he really? Yeah, I think so. But then someone told me they'd already filmed it and that they'd just announced it. And I'm like, that doesn't sound right because I'm sure it goes out live. Yeah, it does go out live. Unless the whole thing is a farce. But also, can you just imagine if he's managing – so Defoe's on the touchline and he's like, you know, sometimes when they put the managers in the stands or they're banned from the game and they're in a hotel room on the phone and like the phone's got a like little headset and harry harry's in the jungle with his dingo dollars like paying in just like bringing up jermaine just going how are we getting on boy and then just trying to manage the club from the jungle because it'd be box office if nothing else just explain something to me because i don't know about these things i don't watch the jungle i don't understand why anybody what's a fucking jungle but what is is it about to happen is the jungle starting again and they're doing that the last the last time they did a celebrity one of the jungle was pre-recorded i only remember that because um one of my mates was touring with diversity and that jordan banjo was on it and he had to keep it a secret so all of them are celebrity well it's it's like an all-stars yeah all-stars right so he's already been in this is what someone told me because i was like oh i hope he gets a job and then someone was like wow he's going into the jungle and then someone replied back going well they've already recorded it so he's available so it depends if you know it's so spursy it's so fucking spursy we're trying to help whether the jungle is pre-recorded in case you can sign the manager what are we doing it's kind of talking about liverpool away in it yeah i think if he does don't worry there's plenty of content on that if he does get the job if he does get the job then he should go on Mars Singer as like some weird inanimate object and then announce that he's you know Spurs wants they unveil him on Mars Singer just to like add an extra land so so the savior of Tottenham there are two issues he can't come because Cheltenham's on yeah and secondly secondly he might or might not be in the jungle I can't believe this and I really can't and the other thing I wanted to say was Van der Ven lucky boy not to get a red card in the Premier League hundreds of years they were going they were supposed to be more stringent in Europe they're even like more of a sort of I don't know woke about challenges I think that's is that right they are quite like there's a low bar for a red card in Europe and a handball and stuff easiest red card I can't believe it it wasn't a red card it's the easiest red card I've seen for like years is like normally I'm always like oh the game's gone like that's never you know in the real world that's never he's literally off the ground both feet off the floor and smashed him the ball's nowhere to be seen he's not in control and he smashed him shin high that is worse than Romero's one that's what like that is one of the worst tackles I've seen for ages if the plant I don't know if it was that he fell but if he didn't get his foot off the ground and he planted his foot but it broke his leg in two pieces, like 100%.

1:07:50It was an awful tackle. I genuinely think the ref felt sorry for us in the situation that we're in. You're in a situation where Kinski's getting clapped off by their fans. It happens quite often in games where it's like... Gallagher's up, you know what? Yeah, if a bad challenge goes in in the 93rd minute and the game's done and dusted, a lot of the time the ref will kind of just not give it or whatever. I just think that if that game was Champions League, semi-final second leg and it's 2-2 and it's 80th minute and it's real like prime time he's giving that he doesn't think it was just a bit of a silly game the way it had gone and he kind of took pity on it and didn't send him up mate spot on because did you see that guy you know it was an unserious game because there was a guy just before half time chopping up a charcuterie board what was that about what was that i know i know they love a bit of fucking come on but that was mental, mate.

1:08:44Yeah, they love a bit of jamon over there, don't they? Which is a really expensive sort of leg of... Yeah, and slice it real thin, lovely. Pig? Yeah, yeah, a little bit of pig, a little ball or something. Yeah, what the fuck has gone wrong with football where there's a man making... Who is he making the sandwiches for? But it was just like... He was just looking over going, ah, this is alright. I could do the analysis for the second half. There's no point. I'd just start slicing up this jamon and getting this ready for the lads. They'll love that. Lovely sandwiches. Yeah. And the final thing is i forgot i don't know where end on this but um uh romero and and paladina are now out for 10 days at least with concussion protocol uh so they're gonna miss both games so is that confirmed they got taken because i'm not because no but it happened with trossard when trossard faked his head injury at wolves away and he went off and he they got the concussion sub so he went off and then he played us.

1:09:40So again, Tottenham are on the raw end of it, but it's because they were able to prove that he didn't have concussion. But our boys looked like they had both had concussion. Yeah, I mean, Romero nearly collapsed on the centre-cycle, so he's definitely an issue. And Paulinia went off. I hope not. But by the same token, I don't want them, if they're fucked, I don't want them to play, obviously. Yeah, I'm hoping... I think this is good that we did this last because it was exactly like in the game where you thought, okay, fucking hell, we're through this now. Move on to the next game. And then out of nowhere, Romero just comes climbing over the top and just smashes one in.

1:10:16So I'm thinking if we all simultaneously just smash our heads into our laptops, maybe we'll get a concussion and we don't need to record anymore. Or maybe I'll just run into front of a fucking truck. Take in a VECO exit and just get out. Just go. Just bang, go. It's all over. All the pain's finished. I want to be obliterated. Not just, oh, I've hit my head. Oh, I've hit my head. I might be dead I might not definitely I want to be matter I want matter all over the a fucking Jackson Pollock all over the M25 oh a splat beautiful um I don't mean that at all I want to see us get better again and live that joyous experience maybe one day um so yeah the uh we will be doing a preview for the Liverpool game but we might as well forfeit if we if we actually don't turn up we lose 3-0 that's all that happens that's alright yeah otherwise if we do turn up and do the honourable thing we line up against Liverpool at Anfield without Romero Van der Ven Paulinha I don't think Dragunsen can play either I don't know I might be wrong there even if he does play it's like having 10 players anyway isn't it so 3-0 loss sounds like a net win boys would you genuinely take a 3-0 loss I wouldn't because it sounds But I'm not far off.

1:11:39But yeah, I was talking to the missus about it. I was like, oh, you know, I'm going to take Little and Up and watch it. She's like, hang on, Mother's Day on Sunday. Oh, fuck. I was like, I said, do you know what? For you. Because I love you so much. Yeah. Yeah. So, yeah, we're making other plans. Oh, good for you, mate. I forgot it was Mother's Day on Sunday. When you said that, I had a horrible panic because I haven't sorted anything out for my mum and my wife of two children. I've also got to sort it out. So if I didn't do this for a living, although obviously I've got nine games before this isn't my living anymore, then I'd probably have to do something with my mum and my wife.

1:12:25Anyway, love you, boys. Thank you so much for coming on and sharing this hour and nine minutes with me. one day eventually it will all be okay sometimes when i was having panic attacks about my house i'd wake up at four o 'clock in the morning blind panic how's this gonna happen i'd breathe and go everything is gonna be okay i'm sort of worked out so there's something in that all right take care boys bye love you boys See ya.

1:13:29I'm going to go and see box. Everybody want to come and run it, buddy, funny like a dummy in the barbie of your mommy. Ha ha. Fighting cock and we don't give a shit.
