In short
The episode is a sports-and-lifestyle chat mixing football talk with Wimbledon, tennis, and a “Midnight Snack” food challenge. They discuss Arthur Fery’s Wimbledon run (ranked 114, reaching the semis) and “one-hit wonder” sports stories (e.g., George Johnson in snooker; Blackburn Rovers and Leicester City’s Premier League title runs; James “Buster” Douglas; Oleg Salenko’s 1994 Golden Boot). Main football focus: England’s tournament discipline—four players at risk of missing the next match due to yellows (Jude Bellingham, Nico O’Reilly, Declan Rice, Mark Gahee). They debate England celebrations after beating Mexico, arguing it was too early/too much in the dressing room. They also preview England vs Norway, emphasizing stopping Erling Haaland and watching Martin Ødegaard’s chance creation, plus possible use of Dan Byrne.

1:35Lads, I want to start us off here. There's a little smiling face at the side of me.
1:41Nicky:Can I start something? I think you look very smart today, Paddy. Very smart. And I think you've upped your game with your gear. I think there must be a lady involved. I think he waxes his chest as well. Go down one more, just one more. Go down one more, please. How's this started? I want to have a nice chat to you then about Wimbledon. Luke, you look fantastic. It's a compliment. Coordinated. You've got the strap the same as the pack. Coordinated. That's how the week he's got it. Oh, he's good. Coordinated. You're looking smart. Compliment, Paddy. You look really smart. I was going to say, men are allowed to look smart with no women involved.
2:19You can, lads could look smart. I agree. Nicky. What's happened with the other 11 months we've been here? Very smart, Paddy, anyway. Very smart. The linen is because outside it's cracking the flags. And for our subscribers watching down south, that means it's very hot. It's so hot that last night for the first time ever, I slept with the window open. Because I don't like the window being open. One, spiders. Number two, burglars. So I like having it totally sealed up the house. Do you sleep on the ground floor? You've got a fan? Do you know what? No.
2:54Nicky:Aircom. Do you know what I think of... Aircom, why have you got your windows open? I don't mind that you don't have aircom. business for us the three of us we could launch it on here and I'm telling you we're cleaning up lads going forward air con in houses what's air air conditioning air every house in the UK is built with keeping warmth in because the country's freezing it's obviously getting hotter the planet's getting hotter everyone's going I can't get sleep why has nobody else thought people are going to be having air con in their houses why has nobody else thought of having air conditioning I'm not sure I'm pretty sure there's a few of them knocking around at the minute it's not a new thing is it a lot of people on the planet we'll just take a little section of that this is see this is what I mean about you two this is where the negativity like I'd call it sensible you two would be shite on Dragon's Den no one would ever get a deal out of you honestly you go on Dragon's Den and say I've got a new got a new business for you no I'm not I'm not saying it's a fucking new business I'm not saying it's a new business I'm saying I think it's a business people will be watching this and I'm going he's got a point McGuinness I'm setting that up if you set up an air conditioning business for your OSI for OSI Jack going forward in the UK do me a baby in the background for the next 20 minutes Google how many air conditioning unit companies are out in the UK I reckon there's a thousand yeah I'm pretty sure it's been thought of yeah I'm pretty sure it's been thought of and also Jack while you're there Google how many people are in the UK a thousand companies there's about fucking 66 million people so and find out how many people have got enough 15 grand to spare to put air conditioning units we're not all from Pressbury also as well Jack check how many air conditioning companies you can ring up who are available because they're so busy so we need more of them.
4:30Nicky:There's 56 ,000 UK companies. See what I mean? That's a fucking drop in the ocean. It's a drop in the ocean. 56 ,000? Yeah, they'll be industrial jack. 56 ,000? You're looking at just any old air conditioning. I'm going to wait for our hosies. Will you do me a favour? Will you look at my finances and give me some investment ideas? I'm telling you, little units that can go in a bedroom and you don't need massive construction You mean like a fan? A Dyson fan? No, because that's just pushing warmer around the room, isn't it? Not with a spray one, it's not. Go on, what was you going to start with?
5:06Come on. Right. You've forgotten. Fucking no, I've not forgot. I've not forgot. Funny enough, we're looking at my shirt that reminded me. Smart, mate, smart. Arthur Ferry, Wimbledon. This lad, right? So Arthur Ferry.
5:17Nicky:Arthur Ferry. Arthur Ferry. It's an F. Ferry. how have I ended up getting elocution lessons of two of two fucking manks like it's just like the term glass hoses has never been more appropriate on this podcast anyhow he's ranked 114 in the world incredible and he's he's in the Wimbledon semis right and it got me thinking firstly good on him don't want to be negative I hate being negative especially how can you be negative about him no I was going to say I think I think the semis will be the end of the road he's got the world number two he's out there and he's never played anyone of that calibre and I think that's when you get he's basically just made himself a massive career now though hasn't he he could know if I were him I mean listen he might kick on his ranking will go up now I'd imagine to like 50 in the top 50 top 20 so that massive sponsorship straight away that's the thing you've just got to tan it straight away I'm thinking Urcon Bolton Urcon 56 ,001 Good the bad the football Urcon One hit wonders in sport Right Over the years Now Weirdly I know you'll know this Fellow schools I don't know if you know Because you're not into snooker But there was a guy in 86 George Johnson Do you remember him?
6:46Yeah And he won the He went to world number one Won the world championship championship, never to really be seen again after that. I think he had the Dennis Taylor Glasses vibe going on. And he came on the scene, won it, and that was that. Who can you think of won it wonders in sport? Blackburn Rovers. Black Ultimate. Leicester City. Leicester City, have I forgot that one?
7:13Nicky:Amazing. Them two clubs, what they did to win the Premier League, which is the biggest league in the world. So obviously Blackburn had Sir Jack funding it and were amazing what he did. But the players that they had, we played against them, they were phenomenal. And then obviously Leicester, what they did. Did they just win the League One spot? Yeah, but I also think Leicester's was probably a bit more surreal because I think Blackburn set it up. They heavily invested with Shearer and Batty and all that. Lesseau, Tim Sherwood, friend of the show. But literally they had some top, top players, as did Leicester, but I don't think they was as set up to go and win it like they did.
7:49Nicky:Leicester's was different though, wasn't it? That was a wow. The manager was brilliant. They were never, I think they'd never got relegated here before. Blackburn was there for a couple of years. You look where they are now. Leicester. I know, it's incredible. It's crazy. League one. Football, it's bonkers, isn't it? Absolutely bonkers. That's a good one. Blackburn, Leicester's a belter. Boxing, James Buster Douglas. Remember it. Knocked out his favourite boxer of all time. That's why you remember him. It's all right in Tokyo, wasn't it? Yeah, 1990. Yeah, devastated I was. and because Tyson at the time was undefeated undisputed wasn't he do you know the story about that he said after it he said I didn't go to bed till 3 in the morning he'd been out for like 3 days on the bounce because he thought he was going to be so easy because he was so confident in his own ability that's what he said I don't know if it's true or not but literally I remember it I used to always get up with my dad my dad used to go to the pub and bring me back a packet of crisps and a little bottle of coke and you wake up and you'd be knackered at like half 2 3 in the morning and you'd be up for like three minutes and it'd be over and you were back in bed it was that quick but yeah I remember that who was the one who won the golden boot oh Oleg Salenko Oleg Salenko got five goals in the 1994 World Cup against Cameroon won the golden boot played for Russia never played for them again after that do you know it was a bit like that remember Scalacci at the 90 World Cup like top goal scorer unbelievable got his big move to was it Juventus Juventus and then never never seen again Sorry did that five goals win the Golden Boot Or was it more than five goals No it won the Golden Boot Five goals did Yeah in the 1994 World Cup Which is why this World Cup went in for a treat Who's winning it this year Golden Boot Sorry No you're right They've all shown up haven't they There's a fag paper between them isn't there Someone said something before about the stat about Messi Was it 15 goals he scored In a World Cup after the age of 30 35 35 sorry 35 15 am I right saying that 15 goals I know it's a controversial one everyone has the favourite and what have you but I think that has just put him above Ronaldo in the goal imagine if he goes on and wins it again yeah Ronaldo's never won a World Cup and I think rightly or wrongly it's been quite a lot of negativity around him being in this Portuguese team at this World Cup and they're saying if he weren't in that team they'd have probably gone on I don't think I'm always I know what you're saying but I don't think we should ever decide between them two you can I think the different specimens they're different they're totally different obviously both geniuses both unbelievable footballers are up there in the best ever yeah that's the big the conversation but they're just different they're totally different it's like saying who's the best out of Scolese and Gerrard or Scolese and Keane they're different players no it's fuck all no they are No, I do think so, scholars, I do.
10:43Nicky:You wasn't a physical specimen, was you? You was technically very unbelievable. Yeah. Like a Genard could do up, down, powerful, six foot one. It's just different. And I think with Ronaldo and Messi, Messi's getting all the applause now because of rightly so what he does and the way he presents himself and what he's done with Argentina and Barcelona, even now in Intermarme. But Ronaldo, Ronaldo changed a lot of things in football. I mean, he's playing now. What's he, 40? What's he, 40? 41 I just think them two have brought so much joy to everyone and done things in the game that are just outrageous I wouldn't even think about splitting them it's a bit like a different sport tennis it's like Federer and Nadal different they're both geniuses and unbelievable what they do and them two lads they'll be down in the record books they'll be down in the best players in the world in the top five for the next 20-30 years it's phenomenal Do you know what's crazy with tennis, when you said about Federer and Nadal, them two are that good.
11:44You forget about people like Sampras, who was like... Well, you're always got your two,
11:49Nicky:weren't you, that goal. So Sampras was always Agassi, wasn't it? Yeah. Djokovic with Federer and Nadal as well. Can we just talk about Djokovic's her? I can't fucking... I don't think I've ever seen him play tennis and seen what's going on. I can't take my eyes off his her. I don't see the shots. It's beyond thick. it's almost abuses thickness do you know what I mean there should be studies done on his his game as well five hours five hours fifteen minutes oh yeah I don't think he's like to get to the final at his age now when you talk about Ronaldo again he's 39 that's now you could argue Djokovic is actually probably a better athlete than Ronaldo because tennis you're on your own and he's running round at that he's running round at that Miles hard He's running round At that age Football fitness Is miles hard Ronaldo's got Ten players around him I think they're equivalent I think Ronaldo Look Ronaldo Could pick any sport In the world He wanted to do And be the best At it physically Physically Not technically Or tactically Physically He's just that mentality So if Ronaldo Was going to play tennis He'd be like Nadal Sorry Djokovic You weren't around For ages at tennis No Five hours Scores it Scores it Every two minutes Go and have an ice You're talking about The tennis you play with labs down at old leisure sensor.
13:11Nicky:I'm telling you it's not five sets all the time. They can do it. It's like saying he's 39. It's like saying he's 39. You can play it when you're 50. Let's get on to important matters here. England, Norway. Firstly, did you see the clip of the Mexico manager? I didn't see that. Gordon. Gordon, Gordon, fuck off. He starts laughing. It's a good fun. I like that though, especially in the World Cup. Why was he doing that? Because Gordon was playing well. He's never stopped running and playing well. He's like up, down, up, down. And I like that because the World Cup there's a lot of pressure, a lot of money involved.
13:53Especially that game because that was a game where they're all getting a bit angry and aggressive. But to see a little bit of light-hearted chat going on and what I mean, it's good that, isn't it?
14:02Nicky:Have you seen who's replaced him as manager in Mexico, lad? No. Remember Rafael Marquez? Yeah, Marquez. is he already gone? Yeah, he's gone, yeah. They all go. Croatia's gone. Someone else. They've got to leave the country before they can. Is that agreed before the World Cup? In the head it is. I was saying with Scotland, wasn't it? I reckon there'll be more than half of the manager who will go. Talking about England in this semis. Quarters, sorry. Four England players who could miss the semis if we get through because they're all in yellows is Jude Bellingham, Nico O 'Reilly, Declan Rice and Mark Gahee.
14:41Now, straight away, Bellingham and Rice terrifies me.
14:46Nicky:I think they all do. We're obviously glad Harry Kane is on there, but look, it's part of tournaments. Especially with an extra game now. This always happens and there's every chance. I don't think the standard referee has been great, has it? So there's every chance that this could happen. I think Elisa in the French game as well has won away. I also think as well, can Donald Trump not say it out I also think that Scoles will be I'll tell you better because obviously he did it in the semi-final in Juve in Manroy which is terrible but I don't think it's as bad when it's a quarter quarter-final as it is in the semi-final quarter-final you've just got to play your game and I think the thing that you'd have in your head or I would have in my head I wouldn't stop my game I wouldn't stop tackling what I'd stop is any silliness no kicking the ball away or I'm talking back to the referee and having my head don't say a word to the referee don't kick the ball away but do your game your natural game and I think it's a lot when did he get wiped off did he get wiped is it not semi-final he got wiped which one out of them after this game which one out of them four would you rather it not be Bellingham Bellingham wasn't it yeah Bellingham or Gaye Bellingham though only because of what he's done close between Bellingham and Rice isn't it yeah but Rice has been he's been brilliant but he's definitely struggling a little bit with injuries As I've said before, I'm not the biggest fan of him, but he is important to this team.
16:09Nicky:Oh, I think he's massively important. When you're at this stage where another yellow, you could miss the next game, what does anyone say, the coaches, managers, does anyone say anything to you? Will you just say, you just play your own game, did they leave you to it? Or did they remind you going, Luke, if you get another yellow, where you are? No, they're not a yellow. If I was manager, the manager that I played with wouldn't be coming up to me and going, just to let you know. Because you tick away from your game. and it's a squad game you know you've got players that can come in and do stuff anyway you should have I think if it's a semi-final which I've been told it gets cancelled after this game so it's irrelevant but if it's a semi-final like Scholesy had or the rules way back when when it was ridiculous you play all through a tournament and you semi-finally do one missed time tackle you miss the biggest game of your life it's fucking stupid yeah you're not going to change you can't change before every league game when I went out the manager said to me watch your tackle it's the last thing he said to me before every time I went out I think the fans said that to you as well didn't you what when that when you got that where you couldn't play in the Juventus game and Roy as well what what was the games where you picked the yellows up in Juventus the semi-final semi-final yeah and I was the only sub I came on in the in the second leg and tackled De Champs I actually saw the tackle for the first time the other day and it probably would be a yellow card now at the time at the time I didn't think so it was like a little bit of a follow through and he was like screaming on the floor he was absolutely going mad you know when you do a tackle on a plane they do that when you know you've not caught him at all I mean do you just walk off and do you just say to him fucking come on oh fuck off yeah stamp on him stamp on him stamp on his head another thing with just talking about England celebrations celebrations what's that what's he fucking on about what's that England celebrations after that game what do we think oh yeah in the dressing room right now the John Stones video that was quite funny I loved that I loved that I'm like because again it just goes it's John Stones so anything could happen to John Stones anyway they're a team together and it's nice seeing that I saw them all jumping in a swimming pool doing diving competitions I like all that it's important it's important you know what I mean but the one for me when that video was Tuchel's face at first because he just goes whomp they got him didn't they yeah they got him especially after just that happened to Jordan Henderson as well yeah what did you think when you seen it like were you like do you know without putting a dampener on it we're all England fans we all wanted it to do well it's great they've gone through but and I get people get carried away we've done it in changing rooms I really do but I just think to celebrate that much when you just got to a quarter final I accept the actual timing of the game and the actual we won it at the end and we stuck together for 40 minutes and it's a great result.
19:05Nicky:Mexico has not been beat for so many years. I get all that. However, I think, I do think the manager and people at the top end should be like, lads, we're only in the quarterfinal, we're not in the final yet. They might have done that. I think straight after the game, I've had singing a dance game. No, he shouldn't do that. No, it's not like he can't. I'd say... Can't you just come in, lads, you're in the changing room, you can have a bit of fun. I think semifinals are the first time you can probably do it. or you beat a major team. Thomas Tuchel has done nothing yet that Gareth Southgate hasn't done.
19:36Nicky:Just hang on a minute. Sorry, sorry, sorry. I'm not being funny. England are not Cape Verde. We're not celebrating winning a game. England should be getting, that squad should be getting to at least a semi-final. I understand and I agree what Borfi are saying about the semis and all the rest of it but everything all week before that game have been stacked against England. Of course, yeah. Everything. And they've gone out there don't attend men and they've gone immediately in the changing rooms if they want to get a bit of music I totally get it and I'm not going against the England euphoria of the game and I was buzzing they won it I was like fucking get in there and I want England to win it and I love England fans I love passion I love seeing lads having a good time we had great times when we won things and stuff but we are a top top team with world class players you talk about Bellingham Kane all these players Rice they're all winners they win things at the clubs they're the proper players Gaye he's been brilliant.
20:31Nicky:We've got to be better than that and thinking, right, let's celebrate for five minutes. On the pitch is fine because you're celebrating with the fans who have paid a lot of money, travelled all over the world, halfway on the world. I get that, but in the changing room, it's got to be a little bit, someone's got to go, they might have done, I don't know, we've only seen a little clips. Yeah, that's what I mean, you've only seen a little bit. So, but, you know, get to a final, celebrate then and then win it and go nuts for the rest of your life. When I spoke to you two about being in the England camp back in the day, one of the things you've always said to me is it were boring or you never mix well with other players and other teams and this, that and the other.
21:03Well, it seems like now that's, that's, that's, come God, boring.
21:07Nicky:We were just miserable. No, I mean, like, you know, you were just playing pool all the time. Did you talk about all that stuff before the game leading up to it about altitude and the Azteca Stadium and the atmosphere and they'd only lost twice in 87 games or something? People did forget that Mexico are a bang average team. I said that they were saying wasn't they that Elliot Anderson cost more than their whole squad together now I know that's nothing it's irrelevant it's irrelevant but I do think if we're going to put all our confidence into that squad and that squad is a fucking good squad it is a good squad it's got some great players it's got a great manager I think we've got to be better when we beat a team that are really average I'm not being horrible here and I know we're going to get a lot of backlash for this I think the only way they celebrated it why they celebrated it because because it was back to the game so well being with 10 men before I miss.
21:59Nicky:I get that, but still, there's bigger tests that come in there. Thomas Tuchel's done, like I said a minute ago, he's done nothing that Gareth Southgate hasn't done. Once we play a good team, then we'll find out if Thomas Tuchel is what we expect him to be. And that sounds like we're a real downer. We're definitely not. We're all buzzing about England winning, but just celebrate when we... Do you know what? That's a real English thing to do. It's not. It's like, fucking hell. get that best of fans no I don't mean something I mean going let's not get carried away like you can get carried away a little bit now looking back I don't think Gareth Southgate gets enough credit for what he did with his squad because when he took over they were a mess really weren't they everybody hated each other they weren't being successful and he left them in two finals now he obviously lost his job so he couldn't quite get over the line and that's why I'm saying now Thomas Tuchel has done nothing that Gareth Southgate hasn't done we'll see or we hope to see the best of Thomas Tuchel when we get to a semi-final against an Argentina against a proper team or we get to the final against France I hope so do you know what France have got a tough game against Morocco tonight so I think it'd be difficult but we've seen nothing different and Gareth Southgate left his squad in a brilliant place for somebody with the calibre of Tuchel to take us to that next level which is winning it's the only thing Gareth didn't do are all batteries the same?
23:22that's like asking if all soccer players are the same. Take Messi, the most decorated player ever. Is there any other player who has achieved that? No, just him. Now take Duracell. Is there any other battery with power boost ingredients inside? No, just Duracell. Remember, goats only trust goats because they're built different and Messi only trusts Duracell. They've given us a plate of pickled onions. I don't see that. Very lazy.
25:13Nicky:I'm not sure they're going to sound very nice. And for Norway, again, something that I'd associate with Russia, caviar. I thought caviar was like black. Yeah, I don't even think that's even... Someone just said the Norwegian one is spelt differently because I try to be a smarter, I say it's spelt with a C, but apparently a Norwegian caviar is spelt with a K and comes more of a paste rather than eggs. Yeah, we've had crickets and wasabi and all that. I've got to say, these two dishes, smell-wise, are the most horrific. Don't mind a pickle. I'm not sure about the other thing. I mean, we're still struggling after the battered Mars bar in the fish.
25:52Oh, that was nice. Right, so do you want to start with Norway? This is caviar, lads. I think they'd be good together. You two being cultured.
26:01Nicky:They'd be good together, them two. No, we'll pop the pickle on top. No, we've got to tell you who's best. All right, okay. Well, you can try that in a minute. I'm not saying we can try that. you lads have got a bit of coach here must have had caviar before it's your face like a smack tap I have caviar every Sunday most Sundays before my Sunday loss I mean that shite that Norwegian one it's like salmon paste I've never had caviar it's salmon paste it's a bit fishy a bit saltier it's the slowness of the crock
26:47Nicky:That's just like a fish on a fucking cracker. Well, it's not getting any better because in the minute we've got to have a fucking pickle. No, I'll eat the pickle all day long. I've got to say, out of everything we've tried so far, that's the worst reaction you've ever had. Paddy, try one. No. Try one. I'm the moderator on this lads. Right, get your pickled onions down here. The wickle ones are more juicy Wickle ones? The wickle ones? The small ones are more juicy He's having a bad moment here That's fucking awful They're like proper pickles You're not fucked about those, have you? They're not silver skin, they're them They're not silver skin Get me the jar That's not silver skin I like a pickle That's not silver skin Silver skin's a little tiny one What are they ones?
27:34That's like a sarsen's malt vinegar job.
27:37Nicky:That's like a salt right what's it called? Shit. They're more like what you have at the chippy. I'm embarrassed to be English with that. The big fuck off ones. Yeah. I'm embarrassed to be English with that. I've got to say If you have a pickle it's got to be a silver skin I'm right, hasn't I? Oh, I love a silver skin on a roast beef butter. Oh yeah. I've never had pickles be in English anyway, have you? No, I don't know you'd be better off though Have you a meat pie or a chippy? Lazy. They didn't want to go with a chippy. No, they're not. Oh, get a fucking jar of pickles out, lads. Jack can't be bothered going for the chicken, couldn't he?
28:05Nicky:Fucking Jack. Cottage pie. Cottage pie. Cottage pie. That's a classic. What were you going to say? I was going to say something. I was going to say that's the first. The pickled onions actually chilled you out now because you were struggling after that caviar. I thought the caviar was all right. I mean, I wouldn't eat. I wouldn't pick it. I mean, it's not like the Russian one I get on a Sunday. Beluga. Beluga on a Sunday. They just caught a salmon and mashed it up and put it on. Right. Well, who's won then, lads? Come on. Can go all day long no way all day long that pickle was a worst pick well We've got ourselves to draw it's gone down to penalties.
28:38No, it's on to you now. Oh fuck
28:42Nicky:Pick yourself come on Come on buddy, and it's in one come on Come on you got really didn't want to do that. I reckon you eat cover. Yeah, I'm not young in one Are you right just put in your mouth? You know what that smells like? Cat food. Salmon. Cat food. Put it in your mouth. You said that before, haven't you? That just rolled right off his lips. This will roll off your lips in a minute as well. Oh, you pussy. That's pathetic. That's pathetic. I mean, you may well not even try it. I hate people like that. I only scored you a bit into it. I mean, it's not that bad. Paddy is disgusting, isn't it?

29:24Nicky:I had to spit that pickle out. That pickle was fucking horrendous. The pickle's really nice. Fuck it, Al.
29:33Nicky:I bet we'll try the pickles. You know what that's like? You know when you see someone, when you're out walking, and they walk around with them bags? Yeah. It tastes like whatever's in that bag dosed in salt. It's got a bit of salt in it. Fucking awful. I've got to say something, Jack. This is the worst taste off we've had. It's fucking horrendous. Fucking horrific, this. them pickles I'd rather eat crickets all day long than the English prick up I'm taking them pickles on you two have gone got the fuck you left me on the massive pickles what's your white shirt with that paddy what's your white shirt with that paddy going before you use this in it will be later
30:19fucking hell that's awful
30:21Nicky:do you not like onions? I love onions I like pickles but they're not pickles that I normally are I want to see what the jar is Paddy that is a pathetic effort he farted he's right he farted he's coughing and farting and saying
30:39he's falling through
30:40Nicky:You might have touched cloth there, Paddy. Fucking hell, I coughed farting. I couldn't fucking breathe.
30:53Fucking hell, those two are horrific.
30:55Nicky:I told you, that's the worst taste I've had. I mean, I do watering, lads. Oh, disgusting. Do you know what? I can't separate. They're both equally as horrific. Do you know what I think it is with them? Do you know why they're so bad? I was expecting that to be bad, but I was expecting that to be nice. I don't know what's wrong with you. and pickles are lovely. Are they brown? What's that pickle? That's soaked in some for a while, aren't they? It's crap. It took my fucking breath away, that. It's fucking crap. What about them? It's like fermented pickles, that. Oh, I've got to say, I'm with a lot.
31:22You can't, they're equally as horrific and they both have different... With the lads, I like the pickles really nice. Right, well, if he likes the pickle, it's pickles. Oh, well, you like the caviar, don't you? You like the caviar. I forgot you like the caviar. Do you know what, buddy? I don't like either. What do you want? The reason why I'm picking that
31:37Nicky:because I expect it to be a nice one because we all like pickles. They're shit and that's not much better. I wouldn't say they're shit. I'd just say they're absolutely, they take your breath away because some people love a strong pickle. That's the pickle for them. And with you, I like a silver skin, a mild pickle. This is, no. It's rank. Yeah. With that, you may as well pull a fish out there if you can see it and bite into it. Right. Anyone got a coin? We're going to have to toss a coin. Here you go. I'll toss a coin for it. that's tails tails who's winning tails for who tails is pickled onions you're right pickled onions has won it right there you go oh midnight snack powered by midnight built for no not like those old school bookers it's quick to use simple to navigate no messing about remember you've got to be 18 or older and please gamble responsibly back to that at the england camp and the camaraderie and everything else did you see Ed Sheeran pops up to do a few songs I did say about that yeah I'm jealous I love Ed Sheeran it feels a bit awkward great lad I absolutely love Ed Sheeran I'm not sure they're popping up I think I'd feel a bit awkward watching him oh no I wouldn't what's that by the pool of just like 10 years oh a big dream Ed Sheeran oh so was it by the pool did he just get the kids out it looked like it yeah the angle tops off by the pool I went to watch Ed Sheeran twice well three times actually I went once at the Royal Albert Hall and there was only 300 people there it was a smaller venue and he spoke about all his songs and what they're about and his new album but they had no mic it was all acoustic and I was quite close it was the honestly it was the best concert I've ever been to whatever you what are you laughing at what are you laughing at it sounded like he said acoustic I thought he was playing snooker or something he's all over the pronunciation he's got a bad neck on the fucking it sounds really good honestly it was fucking out this world and like some people it's not everyone's cup of tea but I think he's fucking unbelievable yeah genius he's basically a one man he does it he's a one man band guy he's a one man band guy he's a one man band guy he's a one man band guy he's a one man band guy he's a one man band guy he's a one man band guy he'd be back he'd be my favourite guest to come on here now Ed Sheeran just put it out there he's a big football fan isn't he a nice lad I'm sure if he's available he's international fucking pop stars though I mean we've got Niall on they're never at home are they they're always Niall Niall he's a great lad but the thing with Niall he lives I think he's in London at a minute so he's just catching him at the right time isn't it Ed if you're watching hit us up pal bring the old whatever that is I don't know what I'm doing one of his songs is about New York his missus isn't he I think it might have been New York but not that I'm a not that I'm a stalker do you think you're on a bit of a highway to nothing if you're coming in to entertain a football team as just like there's just a few lads there and they're like oh just do us 10 minutes in the corner I think it'd be awkward wouldn't it it must feel bad I reckon they paid him to do that no he'd just come and do it himself but I mean if they don't sit like Ed Sheeran singing in front of you they're weirdos anyway I'm sure it'd be brilliant to listen to do you know what I mean I think it'd feel a bit awkward if Ed Sheeran started doing that he's not doing that he doesn't play his fucking guitar like that stop doing that I mean what are you doing itching your chest do you know in your profession if you had to go and tell a few jokes what would that feel like horrific you're better off because your jokes are no good or is it because is it the environment mode because no one wants to fucking if you're in an England camp there's a few we sat around no one wants to one at corner going hey funny thing happened to me on the way here today hey have you ever noticed how carrots aren't straight anymore like who the fuck wants to eat that carrot I don't call that for him because when we was in when we was in camp of England I would take anything for a change of scenery because it is fucking there's nothing going on can I just say if Ed Sheeran turned up when you lads were playing You'd be going, hey, it's only a quarter, Ed, fuck off.
35:33You fancy getting my poo? Put that away, Ed. Come back if it's the semis, mate, and bring Mick Jagger with you. But after that, fucking do one.
35:40Nicky:To be fair, that's a really good point. See? No, that's not a good point. You're killing time. So you're all right to have Ed Sheeran performing, but you can't have a bit of a sing-song straight after the game. Well, the thing is going on, isn't he? Liam? Liam Gallin? He said if they win it, he's going to sing Wonder Woman. Yeah, but that's winning it. If you win it, you fucking win. We like a bit of that. I get that it'd be a good crack that wouldn't it but honestly the time in camp you've got to do anything to keep your time occupied you have haven't you where's this Wonderwall thing come from after games I don't know I don't know great song but I'm not feeling it as part of the England thing but that's just I don't know well it was Sweet Caroline it's always something isn't it yeah it's coming home free lines and all that it never fucking comes on Sweet Caroline's still going in the pubs it's transcended it's on the all sports it used to be at the stadium after the game I did not do it on the pitch the diamond must be absolutely fucking kicked up to eyeballs it's had a full resurgence that song with the royalties and what have you but just on the coming in entertaining footballers and you're on a highway to nothing I was with former world number one snooker player Ken Doherty the other week Ken Doherty he's Northern Ireland he's won the world championship he's a massive United fan I know he is I met him once in a nightclub I'm glad that you know who he is you met him in a nightclub I'm glad this is great so he says to me Willy Bardellos Dublin I'm talking to him and he's a great lad and he's telling me how much of a red he is and how he loves this podcast and this that and the other and I'll say oh you must come on one time and he said when he won the world championships Sir Alex Ferguson got in touch with him and said come down to the ground with the trophy I'll introduce you to the lads and I'll say oh fucking brilliant so he said he took him into this room and you're all in having your lunch or wherever it were pretty much sorry sorry when was this do you know the date because it was a character or was it a cliff I think it was a game I don't know which one I don't know which one but anyhow my thing is he's walked in he said he's stood there and Alex Ferguson's gone lads Ken Docherty world champion and you've just gone fucking carried on eat him left him there pre-match it was important though isn't it but that's exactly my point we used to get a few people do you know he said the only person who came over to him and congratulated him Roy Keane no Ryan Giggs no David Beckham no me no me no well fucking hell we've said all the team there come on no you've not Jemba Jemba no yep hey Gary Neville Cantona you are he got up he said I felt awkward or anything like he said he got over that's just a good story for him no he said he got up he come over shook his hand he went congratulations well done and he said after he did that then a few lads went oh we'll go over now but that's what I mean about you well we have to apologise to Ken for that because winning the world championships is amazing but if you're playing a game and you've not been told he's coming in it's the fucking manager's fault what he should have done I might have been starstruck to be fair after the game we should have done it after the game where we've done our job after the game you've lost everyone in fucking silence flip the coin flip the coin right we're going into Ken's dressing room before he goes out at the crucible but he's not going to fucking come over to us is he he's got a point with that I was probably a little bit starstruck because I'd like to Ken if you're watching pal let's get you on the podcast do you know who else came in the dressing room when he won it Sean Murphy did he did he get the same response fucking silence yeah probably no we met him he came in the dressing room I think so he was weren't eaten do you know what we used to get like a few famous people in before the game that you ignored we had like a small players lounge that we all used to what was the old driver yeah wait a minute we all used to sit in little groups and remember the the motorbike the superbikes Barry Sheen no Carl Fogarty oh yeah yeah so he's going around Gaffer's introducing to everyone with his family so he comes to see us and says hello hello we've got a little corner haven't we yeah so he goes round the corner around, meeting everyone still.
39:56Nicky:The room's tiny. Herman Giggs is, meow! Just make it start making them fucking noises. It's fucking embarrassing. Oh, it was embarrassing. Meow! Every time he walked. Every time he walked. Fucking hell. And I bet Carl's gone at first time. And after a bit he's gone for four years now. He's a god as well, isn't he, in that world sport? Yeah, absolutely. Absolutely. God, he was seven times. Remember his eyes? Seven times he won it, I think. I can't remember his eyes he had like really nice eyes I seen him about probably about six months ago unbelievable popping out eyes I seen him about six months ago in a restaurant and I thought you know straight away we're all cold but you did did you do that no it wasn't me doing it Ryan was doing it but yeah we had some loads of people going in that dressing room right getting back on to England as well lads Dan Byrne gets the game does brilliantly against Mexico I think I know I'm going to ask you the question is he going to be starting in the next game no I don't think so I think Tuchel has got his partnerships throughout the team I think if you look at the partnerships he's definitely going to be with Gaye I'm thinking Harland no I think they're going to kick the two at the back Gaye and Conce and then you've got Rice and Anderson and you've got Bellingham and Kane right down the spine his wingers he mixes between the four and the full back's the problem the left back he'll play Nicol Riley the right back he'll probably play Spence Jad Spence now The only thing he could do, looking at all around the beach, suspended there, is play Dan Byrne left-back.
41:27No way.
41:28Nicky:No, I don't think he will, but if he's thinking about... I think Ireland's only going to score one goal against Dan Byrne. But that's probably when Dan Byrne's playing as a semi-half. I think Dan Byrne's physicality and the way his presence and stuff is great to come on as a sub when it's... Like he did today, when the back's against the wall. I think he's that kind of... Defends the box unbelievably well. Set-pieces, obviously. He's aggressive. I think when the bats against the wall he's good to bring down it's a bit like a tricky game I know obviously we don't know how that game's going to go at all but just hypothetically let's say with 1-0 up and there's half hour goal would you bring him on then at 1-0 up no I think with England I think if we go 1-0 up you'll go for another goal right it's better like when Man United win their peak we'd never score 1 because you're going to probably concede 1 you're going to have to just keep going and score score more score more I think England are like that I genuinely do I just look at England now and I think we've got to go and score goals and with Norway everyone's eyes are going to be on Haaland however I think Odegaard's the one they've got to watch as well because he feeds the ball through Haaland unbelievably well it's not Odegaard but who's the player in that squad who's had the most assists for Haaland it's not Odegaard is it Noosa they've got a couple of really good players yeah Fulham Sarlath there's one I can't oh no the midfield player Berger Berger is a good player Yeah, he's a bit like Declan Rice.
42:51Nicky:Yeah, Declan Rice. All the guys who want to make some play, if he gets further up the pitch then, yeah. Noosa, the two wide players, and they actually, the other night, they took the two wide players off and brought two other ones on. I think there's a lad from Benficra, I forget his name, who played for Marino last year. He made the goal for Haaland, so they've got a lot of threats. I think England will score goals, don't get me wrong. I think the only way Dan Byrne comes on is if they're hanging on the last 10 minutes. we need to go in the last 10 minutes and stick him on set pieces you can do a bit of both it's like what Maguire would have done right okay but I do think this Norway game is a lot harder than people expect this Norway game worries me more than that Mexico game before we played them because I was like you were in Mexico I looked to their team and I thought I fancy us rightly so because Norway are a lot better than us if England would have played Mexico in New York it would have been a totally different build up to it because of the Aztec stadium and the altitude it's in Miami this is going to be the first time when we talk about the weather before it they're saying it could be 35 feeling like 40 degrees in the afternoon but I was going to say Norway it's colder than fucking UK we've had a little bit of luck with the draw and the side of the draw and little games like we're now playing at 34 degrees in Miami against a team that will not like the heat like us I heard all the guys say that because they were in America a little bit before he thinks they're okay they're a climb size to it so these players are so it these days anyway I don't think the weather matters that much to so we get time it's a party what time is the kickoff ten o 'clock it's five o 'clock in Miami is it four or five o 'clock in Miami can be scorching on well they said this morning 35 to 40 degrees when I used to play with me to play in these games it wasn't so much the heat it was the Sun yeah beam on your head it's like it's fucking awful and you've got obviously our complexion you put in fucking some cream on it dripping your eyes it's an open stadium as well no There's no aircon, there's no roof.
44:44Nicky:You are open to the elements. Right, chaps, this week, that prize guy have a massive draw. They're making someone a millionaire for just 30 pence. Head over to thatprizeguy.co.uk to enter. It'll cost you 30 pence and there's a chance of you winning a million quid. Oh, what? This week, we're chatting TV shows. Rumours have been swirling about who could be heading into the jungle for I'm a celebrity this year. I've not seen these rumours or anything. I think we're in there, aren't we? Eh? We're in there, aren't we? All the food. Food in the city. Can you shut points out? No, I've got to say, I would, I think it'd make my year to sit with my feet up on the couch, big bag of crisps, can of lager at the side of me, telly on, you two in the jungle.
45:42I'd have my phone at the side of me every challenge yes yes them two fucking constant I'd love it
45:51Nicky:so in case it happens I'm not going to tell you anything I'm scared of do you know what that's the secret I think I love heights I love snakes I love rats I love eating anything so yeah do you know what I'd say if the producers got me in and said we'd love you to do this show but you know obviously we want to be conscious of looking after you because they do that and then you tell them what you don't like and then they put it on you and they go what do you not like and I go I am really freaked out by Thai massages I'll go it's just the thought of like someone putting their hands on me with the ylang ylang going up and back and all that and jacuzzis how much would you do it for?
46:36oh here we go this could be sad
46:38Nicky:he's thinking about it well i think you'd be brilliant you'd be so oh yeah i'd be off in a week i think you'd be the leader of the jungle you know i'd get a bit alive and i won't like it because i'm getting bit i get restless when i can't get me sleeping and when i'm hungry i don't want to get angry hilarious i wouldn't be hilarious i wouldn't if he's losing his sleep he'd be angry
47:01he'd do that classic thing where he'd be like i just get home with everyone love it and then He'll hear like a niece biscuit thing going on. He'll be like, I'll not rise to it.
47:11Nicky:Do you know why I couldn't do it? I'd need a couple of beers all around the campfire. They have beer in there. I was singing like that. Come by, are you? I couldn't do all that. I'd be like, it's so false. You need a wee every two minutes. It'd be fucking false. I think you'd win it, Nicky. No, I wouldn't. I think you'd win it. Have any of you ever been asked to do it? No. Not Jungle. You must have. I got asked to do Celebrity Wipeout. I remember Wipeout. You must have. I remember Celebrity Wipeout. I put myself out. Sorry, I put myself out there, though, going, none of that interests me. So maybe that's a thing.
47:43What did you do? I didn't do it.
47:45Nicky:I got asked to do Celebrity Wipeout. Remember that? Do you remember that? You bounce on the big thing. Me and Freddie used to do the voiceovers for that. Is that the one where you go over a course, like, with the travel writer and do all that? No, that's gladiators. Total ninja on it, didn't you? No, no, that's gladiators. Ninja Warrior was. Ninja Warrior, that was, yeah. I think the British public deserve to see Nicky Butt in the jungle that's all I'm saying he'd be brilliant he'd win it would you do you know what I'd like and all if he gets to the family you know that bit when they go along at Ropebridge me and you stood waiting he's expecting the family and it's me and you you alright do you know what I'd really love to do a celebrity master chef I'd love to do that I'd love to I'd love to do that the only one I'd do I wouldn't do anything else because I'd be like I'd show myself up I'd be fucking but I think you'd be good on it you're good with the food and I fancy myself as a chef nah I think he'd be like he'd fuck it right up he'd fuck it right up all that heat in the kitchen he'd go fucking he'd be throwing pans and everything I'm good in the kitchen just putting it out there I've just been on the new series it's not on yet as a guest judge alright fair enough and so it were all the celebs cooking and it's not as hot as you think but it is the pressure like they do it's the time timing do they actually keep to that time I always think the line no no honestly they do they do keep to it the one thing that is does happen which I find a bit weird is if you've spent time doing your dish and you go I've got that just right yeah by the time the judge tastes it it could be stone cold that's like my fucking eggs that's like my eggs oh my god by the time you tasted them they went creamy not runny oh that is exactly like my eggs that is exactly like my eggs Nick that was 30 seconds I know what he's saying 30 seconds It was 90 seconds.
49:32Nicky:I always think about that. I timed it. 90 seconds. It's a derogatory thing. If I'm cooking, you're the last one waiting for them to taste it. It's stone cold. I feel that pain. Mine were like bullets because they're fucking waiting for his fucking... It's stone cold. Yours was still a nice egg though to be fair. It was as nice as they couldn't have been. But when I took that off, it was like... If you took mine off 90 seconds earlier, it'd have been creamy. I weren't cooking it. You were doing it yet. How can I take it? You were cooking it. No, I put it in front of you. You didn't eat it straight away.
49:54Nicky:It was in the pan 90 seconds earlier. It wasn't. I went in my pan the same time as you turned yours on. Get over to that prize guy. For fuck's sake. Please go to that prize guy. Head over to that prize guy for your chance to win a million pounds for just 30 pence. Right, just on a little bit of domestic front, lads. Well, we've got two ex-United lads here. Manchester United have signed Andre Santos 48 million quid plus 2 million pound in add-ons and a 10 % sell on clause is that definitely done yeah it's done yeah what do you think it's a surprise because we're looking at we've been looking at big hitters coming haven't we and he's looking at his potential I think and he's only 22 23 the big thing for me is if he's bought to come and start for us Man United Mark Carrick don't have time to let people bed him.
50:54Nicky:Look at this point, he'll have to start. They've got nobody else. But that's what I'm saying. So if he's done that, I think it's a shock. Now, he's obviously a talented footballer. The recruitment aren't going to get that wrong at 50 million quid. But whether or not he's going to go in and get us to that level of competing again is to be, we've got to wait and see. So has he been brought in as a player for the future? Like give him a couple of, two, three seasons. Have you watched much of him's goals yet? No. He's got legs. He's a powerful lad. he's got legs he's decent with the ball I don't think he's got an X factor where his one standout strength is his X factor he's not brilliant at passing the ball he's not brilliant at running about he's not brilliant at boxing about he's good at everything he's an all round midfielder I've seen him a little bit however you're looking at Man United's midfield we all expected a massive big signing coming whether it be whoever it's going to be Anderson I don't think I don't think there's going to be a lot of excitement about it as I put it that way why are Chelsea selling him 22, 23 year old kid and I also think he's definitely third or fourth choice because Man United went for other players before that it's common knowledge he's done that so that's a bit of an alarm who else is around who they can get now Tanale's gone it looks like Ramirez who's a really good player I still didn't think he was suited to United legs wise but he looks like he wants to go to Arsenal there's Adam Warton I suppose I was just going to say Warton I think he's still a good player and will be available yeah because they were talking to him wouldn't they do you reckon they've got to do something so they've got the Edison as well they've not finalised the medical yet they've got Edison they can't go for another midfielder they've now got to look at other positions you've got to look at right back centre forward centre back no that Edison went into the Brazil squad as cover for right back yeah did he their right back got injured and apparently played a lot of games at right back for Atalanta that's why they bought him then maybe because we need a right back how much of the Santos deal would Michael have been involved with like do you think it's an upstairs decision to bring him in or do you think Michael's going to like him?
52:55Nicky:and Scholes he'll know better than me in the recruitment world, is recruitment go and find the players and shut it down and bring it down. When he gets to the top three then he'll become part of the round table chat. He's not going to be in it all, he won't have the final say but the manager's got to have a say in it. Yeah, even at our level at League Two there's three or four years in it and you all disagree. about something at some point. It's very rare you'll all come to the part of the same manager but ultimately I think with Man United especially it will be the fellas at the top of the club who will decide and I think they might see some value in this player.
53:31Nicky:What's age? As a sell-on. Should Man United be buying players as a sell-on value? No, no, that doesn't feel very united. We need players for now. We've got the Champions League next year. We've got three games a week. It's going to be awful without these players. come out and sort of do a semi-apology? he had a little pop in his line though didn't he he said I made mistakes at United but I need to give context of what was going on at the club caveat so he'll be moaning how the club was run like every manager has done over the last whatever manager's been there he would not have been saying anything while he's not in a job because he'll still be getting paid off Man United so the minute that voids the NDA voids and he's going to be saying whatever he wants to say I've got to say it's funny seeing him in the press conference he looks like good good you can see that weight of United is finally gone he always looked well he always spoke well by the end he was fucking his eyes he wanted out he's got to take some experience with them to AC Milan I think that was a big mistake at Man United he never took anybody around him it's like they came and they were like a different group of people and didn't really want to get involved with anybody else from the club now AC Milan is just as big AC Milan is massive if he gets that wrong again he won't last very long yeah it's game over Rashford set to be reintegrated at United are you feeling about that?
54:58Nicky:I think there's only Michael can do it there's only Michael that can turn it I think it very rarely happens when a when a big player like Marcus goes to a big club on loan for a year two years whatever it is they very rarely come back and play for the team now if anyone can get somebody right I think it'd be Michael Carrick I generally hope he comes back and blows it away I do it was sad that it happened I know a lot of it was down to himself but a lot of it was down to the club not playing right positions Marcus didn't live his life right he'd be fair to say I'd imagine and it come to one big blow up and he moves he goes to Villa then goes to Barcelona one thing about Marcus Rashford when he's on his game he's a handful as you've seen with England now and I do think he's still got somewhere to give whether that be at Man United like Scully said it's going to be difficult or it goes somewhere else he's a player that when he's put on form and he's going at defenders he's exciting and I just hope to God that he gets back to United because he's under contract he's still a Man United player Michael can get an arm around him get him into pre-season and he gets a good pre-season under his belt and maybe stay at United and do well or go and get a career somewhere else because it's sad to see someone that talented not look you don't want to get 35, 36 like we've done and got to end of career and regret things and I think the way it's gone the last two or three years he will regret some stuff and I think if he can sit down at Man United talk it out with the manager and the coaches the players seem to be on board with him because I heard Maguire's quotes in the week I'd love to see him in a Man United kit wearing down that wing again like he did I would I think the problem with Marcus he got he got influenced a bit by what Ronaldo and Messi do and I know that sounds a bit weird because it's them two but I think he got really lazy out of possession he thought I'm that good and going forward he is that good he can beat people he can score goals almost the way Mbappe does really and now it's stupid again to put him on that level but he won't run back anymore I think you've seen that with England games and which is why United wingers can't United wide players cannot do that going back through the years they have to be up and down up and down and he and do you know what I think it's the same with a lot of wide players they watch Ronaldo mess in what they've done to the game is sensational but they don't do the other side of it now when you're not as good as them you've still got to do that and that side of it will put Michael off of course it will because you know what I mean you're not in possession of the ball all the time but Marcus has got that ability to actually destroy teams whether you try and centre forward so maybe you don't have to do that bit going backwards you know what I mean in wide areas well that's a good point in the England game the other day music the right the IBM DR Congo mmm don't bother his ass don't bother his are true it's cause medical can't do that for United it's cause made a good point there about the forward man United need an extra forward the character rely on the young lad on his own or and then a Kunya or way most coming in I think they're better the wide man can you know way more and one down the middle and that and them to a better feel like because they will work yeah work but but so if you want to if Marcus was to stay in there and they hadn't got a target, because it is hard going, it's all right as pundits or fans going, go and buy players.
58:16Nicky:If they're not there, you can't buy them. And then when they are there, you've got six other clubs in for them as well. So if Marcus was to come back and put him up top with Sesco, there's another option for Michael. Michael will want new players coming to that football club. 100 % he'll want that. We all want that. But it's not as easy as just going and buying them. But what he will want, Michael will be clever enough to know if he can't buy him I need numbers because I've got four competitions to play in there's clearly a reason why there's not a lot of clubs coming from Arcas when you think of him for a 26 27 million pound do you think that's his wages though I don't know I think it's got to be his wages I think a lot of it would be his attitude I don't I don't think an actual mighty part of it I think wages must be massive because if you're an Arsenal with the talent of that player 26 27 million it's nothing it's like paying 50 grand for a player in the league too it's nothing yeah do you think the fans will be glad he's back United give him a chance he always gives people a chance and with him being a local lad and come through the ranks he'll get a little bit more leeway do you know what there'll be some that won't there'll be some that will say he'll do going from his point of view I don't think he wants to be there he didn't want to be there when the last time now look that can be turned around I don't know he's had a year away and things probably will be better with Michael at the club things will be a lot better a lot better than the last manager he played London he'll have a lot better relationship with Michael there's no doubt about that but can he get that hunger back to be a Man United player again I don't know I think if he plays a few games in pre-season because he's obviously he's not played loads of games for England he's only played a certain amount of times if he goes back trains well I could see him going and scoring a few goals in pre-season and before you know it the season starts and he's naturally going to be there and then it's up to him I think that's half the problem he's not really going to get a pre-season because as soon as you get a knockout he'll get three weeks off and before you know what the league has started you're starting again the one good thing about football though with players like that who've had a little bit of a rocky patch if they do come back like you said Nicky and score a few it's all forgotten isn't it everyone's like oh great we're back but then it's up to Marcus then to take it on board that he's getting a chance and if he wants to stay there which we don't know we only will know that if he wants to stay there and he gets given a chance he has got the ability to go and take it with the scruff of the neck and go and be a superstar I genuinely do believe he's got fundamental things that's going on with him that he's not happy with for whatever reason at certain clubs but just put it down to he's purely a football on a football pitch he's got that X-Factor to go and blow any team away you know I know obviously we're in the midst of a World Cup here but weirdly I'm looking forward to the Prem starting again I can't wait can't wait see the new players I always love that beginning of the season as a fan who's coming in who's gone new managers it's always good stuff right that's it for today's the good, the bad and the football, sponsored by Midnight, the betting app that's built different.
