In short
The Hauraki Big Show doing the Breakfast Show (Fri 6 June 2025) with banter, listener “What’s on the breakfast” texts to win Bunnings Trade prizes, and a discussion of a viral “rapture” prediction.
Guest backgrounds

0:13Keyzie:Oh good morning New Zealand. It's Friday the 6th of June 2025 and you're listening to The Big Show doing The Breakfast Show. brought to you by Bunnings Trade.
0:29Mike Minogue:Get into a project sorted with Bunnings Trade. Bunnings Trade.
0:39Keyzie:And I tell you what, it doesn't matter what time of day. It doesn't matter what time of day it is. Old Mogey, you're always a stallion. How are you going, you Greek gods, you Adonis.
0:56Jason Hoyte:Yeah, go pretty grouse.
1:00Keyzie:We all sound terrible.
1:05Jason Hoyte:Go pretty grouse there, you mad dog, you sick son of a bee. It's a joy to be here, obviously. Waking up with New Zealand. Nothing makes me feel better than getting out of bed at 4.30am. Thinking about the day ahead and all the backbones out there that are leaving their loved ones in bed so they can go out and do a hard day's yakka, bring home a bit of food for the table in the evening and who knows, maybe a couple of beers. How you going, Keezy man? G'day, fellas.
1:42Mike Minogue:It's great to be here. Friday morning, 6th of June. Just gone 6am. Life's good, man. This is good. Good, 3483. Good text here, fellas. Morning. Great show so far.
2:00Mike Minogue:Breakfast radio is so easy, man.
2:02Keyzie:I tell you what, fellas. I feel a real affinity to all those backbones out there working at this time of the day. I mean, this is my hour. This is where I feel the most hoity J. And I'm very excited to be doing this show ahead. You know, a lot of people will think that we're feeling a bit bitter and angry about the situation. Couldn't be further from the truth.
2:26Jason Hoyte:Nah, far from it.
2:26Keyzie:We are loving it. And Keezy had a big night. We'll talk about that. But in the meantime, let's kick off with some music about a Pearl Jam for you.
2:36Jason Hoyte:The Hodaki Breakfast. These guys are not your average shit kickers.
2:40Mike Minogue:Jase, Mike and Keezy.
2:41Keyzie:Yes, indeed. Pearl Jam there on the radio. Hodaki Big Show this Friday morning. I was going to say afternoon there, fellas. It's not a force of habit.
2:50Mike Minogue:Is this the big show or is this the breakfast show?
2:52Keyzie:It's the big show doing the breakfast show. Yeah, good. Which we're very excited about.
2:57Mike Minogue:It's got a ring to it, man.
2:58Keyzie:Yeah, it really does, doesn't it? A lot of people texting in on 3483 there, Keezy.
3:04Mike Minogue:Yeah, and usually if this was our show, you'd go in the draw for some sort of voucher. Yeah. Don't know what the Bunnings trade situation is.
3:10Jason Hoyte:I think they're giving away patios and fences. Spas. Spa pools, yeah, and a new house. Yeah, that sort of thing. It's pretty, at breakfast, man, the prizes are bigger. Yeah, right, okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So, you know, if we read out your text, you get a free fence. How long's the fence? It doesn't matter, man. It can be any length. There's as much fence as you need. Exactly.
3:32Mike Minogue:How about this? I woke up at 5.30 a.m. in anticipation for this. Holy cow, Mogey, you sound hot.
3:39Jason Hoyte:I do.
3:40Mike Minogue:Free fence.
3:40Jason Hoyte:Now, the reason for that, can I just say, is, I hope people are eating their breakfast, is I've got sinusitis. which is when your skull decomposes. Right, okay. So it's collapsing from the inside out. So I went to the doctor yesterday. I got some antibiotics, but I don't think they've kicked in yet.
3:58Mike Minogue:I hope they don't, man. You sound great.
4:01Keyzie:So much gravitas, man. So much gravitas.
4:05Mike Minogue:The boys' energy levels this morning, uplifting, helping me feel pumped for eight hours at work. Yeah. And that's what we're here for, right? Yeah, absolutely, man. That's our job. Go out with the boys. get up with the men. Welcome to the club, brothers.
4:18Jason Hoyte:Did you get up with a man this morning, Keezy? Because you had a big night last night, and I know what can happen. You get a few beers in you. You've gone out with the boys. Next thing, you're waking up with a couple of men. Yeah. Great way to start the day.
4:31Mike Minogue:It's so early for this chat. God, it's early. Ah, yeah, but I woke up with a dude this morning.
4:38Keyzie:Couple of dudes. Yeah, man. Like next year.
4:41Mike Minogue:Yeah, man. Good stuff.
4:43Keyzie:In unfamiliar surrounds, going, hang on. Hang on.
4:47Mike Minogue:One thing that I've been told I have to do is what's for breakfast, New Zealand. Yeah. No, what's on the breakfast?
4:55Keyzie:Yeah.
4:56Mike Minogue:What's on the breakfast, New Zealand? So if you would like to text through what you are having on the breakfast this morning or for breakfast, send it on through to 3483 and you'll go in the draw for a garden shed or something. Yeah. From Bunnings.
5:09Keyzie:How good. That's right. How good.
5:11Mike Minogue:Let's get those texts coming.
5:12Keyzie:I'll tell you what, actually, I'm loving this time of day. I'm up already anyway usually prepping for the big show in the afternoon there. The only issue that I have with it at the moment is it's really sort of interfering with my normal bowel movements. Yeah. Because I'm very regular, as you know, fellas. So I'm not quite sure where I'm at on that front. We'll find out. We'll keep a track on that as the show goes on. I'll just keep pumping the black coffee that Mogi brought in for us. And he brought pastries as well. But do let us know what's on the breakfast for you because we love that sort of chat.
5:44Mike Minogue:Yeah, 3483, every text in the drawer for a garden shed. The Hauraki Big Show, weekdays from four on Radio Hauraki.

5:54Keyzie:By the way, given that it's a bit of sort of extraordinary circumstances and we're doing breakfast at the moment, you guys all GFA vape? No. No, yeah, please don't.
6:03Mike Minogue:Right now it's time for... Oh, yeah, hey, guys. Text here from Steve. What's on the breakfast? With me, Casey. Yeah, this is, oh, no, you go. It's your segment.
6:19Keyzie:I just want to give this some context. On the big show in the afternoons there, we have What's on the Dinner with Me, Keezy. It is by far the most popular segment of the show.
6:28Mike Minogue:Without question. Thanks, man. Basically, you text in what you're having for breakfast and then we read it out. And you go in the drawer for whatever hoes we've got in Studio B. We've got Bunnings prizes to give away. I'll have a list of those for you after the segment. How about this one on 3483, Jase? G'day, fellas. Coffee and a vape for Brekkie, of course. Yeah, you see, that's backbone.
6:52Keyzie:I remember the last time we were doing breakfast, my favourite one was he had a steak and cheese pie, a pixie caramel, a V and two darts. That is delicious. And I was like, yeah, bring it.
7:03Mike Minogue:G'day, fellas. My breakfast was two Weetabix.
7:07Keyzie:Can I just let people know, this is a little quirk of Kesey's. how would you describe your cereal what do you eat again like the little Weet Bix?
7:17Mike Minogue:Weet Bites Weet Bites? The fruit Weet Bix with little chunks of fruit the little tiny ones they used to be called Fruity Bix now they're Weet Bix Bites Weet Bites yeah Are they Weetie Bites? No I just call them that because it's cute G'day guys this morning I'll be having a lovely can of Red Bull and two darts once I finish milking the cows yeah good stuff mate it's backbone stuff That's what I'm talking about. Someone here has texted me and they're just having nachos for breakfast. Which, like, I like having savoury stuff for breakfast, but I feel like nachos first thing in the morning. It's a bit off.
7:51Mike Minogue:Don't know why, though. Breakfast of Champions Fellas, a triple shot long black and a few mint zins. I love a zin. Oh, Mac, what is a zin?
8:01Keyzie:You'd love a zin. Tell me what a zin is, pugs. It's those little, like, pouches
8:05Jason Hoyte:that you bang in your lip there. Oh, okay.
8:08Mike Minogue:Like, chewing backy. No. Just like that, Jase. G'day, fellas. I'm having a large flat white and three chicken tenders. That reeks of a servo stop. Oh, yeah. It totally does. Shout out to Rumpel. Rumpel is having a classic tradie breakfast of a Coke and a smoke. Yeah, nice. So it's good to see that plenty of New Zealanders are around, you know, starting their breakfast, starting their day the healthy way. Yeah, totally. With a good solid brekkie because breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
8:37Keyzie:I always start my day off regardless of what I'm doing, coffee and a vape.
8:42Mike Minogue:Yeah, yeah.
8:43Keyzie:In fact, as soon as I wake up, I start sucking.
8:48Mike Minogue:On your vape? On my vape. Oh, yeah, cool. Keep the text coming on 3483 if you'd like to go in the draw to win a cement mixer. The Hauraki Big Show, weekdays from four on Radio Hauraki.
9:01Jason Hoyte:Now, there's been a little bit of discussion about why I sound as sexy as I do, and I do, But Keezy, mate, you've come in and you're sounding pretty nasally, man. What's the guts? Yeah, it's usually a sign.
9:12Mike Minogue:Well, I'm going to be honest, fellas. I've developed a nasty habit. Oh, yeah. Which is getting on the durries. Getting on the durries when you're having a few beers. Is that right? For some reason. It started at Magic Round. Yes, it did. Yeah, because Hoity J would go and have a durry just to sort of have something to do at the old Caxton Street. Then I'd be like, I'm with you, and then bummed a couple of darts off him.
9:34Keyzie:About 10 in total, by the way, maybe. I don't think I saw one. And they're not cheap either. But, oh, God. Bit of flam in the morning, why not? Bit of beds and hedges. Hack it up there, Keezy.
9:46Mike Minogue:Yeah, for some reason now, like, I just, and I'm, like, hanging out with Minaya and stuff, they're all bumming darts and, you know, and pugs as well. He's a shocker for it. And even though I grew up having asthma as a kid, now I've decided, hey, I've had enough asthma stopping me from doing stuff. Yeah, man. I'm going to have a couple of darts. And then I literally woke up this morning and I could smell darts. Oh, yeah.
10:06Keyzie:Was that the other guys that you woke up with or was it you? Jase, look, can we just... Right, no, it's okay, Kesey. There's no judgment here, man. We've all been there. You know what I'm saying?
10:15Mike Minogue:If you've just joined us, there's a joke running that I woke up with some dudes in my bed.
10:20Jason Hoyte:And there'd be nothing wrong with that if you did. Yeah, there's no judgment, Kesey. Well, I mean, that's between you and your wife.
10:25Keyzie:I don't know what you're into, man. Yeah, you said it wasn't your bed anyway, so it wasn't actually technically your bed. Hey, Kilo's coming on 3483.
10:35Jason Hoyte:The Hauraki Big Show with Jase, Mike and Keezy. Tune in weekdays at four on Radio Hauraki.
10:41Keyzie:I'm going to be honest with you, fellas. I'm grateful to be alive, of course. Yesterday was the big rapture. Now, Keezy, talk me through that, mate, because what the hell were people banging on about?
10:53Mike Minogue:So basically, Jase, a South African pastor named Joshua Mlakella. Pardon? Joshua Mlakella. he released a video on YouTube saying that he'd had a dream and he'd had a vision that the rapture was indeed happening on today's date. When I say today, I mean overnight. Yes. You know, South Africa. Yeah. It massively went viral on TikTok with the hashtag rapture talk. And then TikTokers kind of took it and ran with it and people started to believe it. Yeah. Which is pretty standard for this day and age.
11:23Keyzie:Well, my daughter came out last night while I was just lying on the couch there saying you're prepared for the rapture, Dad. And I said, what the hell are you banging on about? And she said, we're all going to die tonight. And then what did you say?
11:33Mike Minogue:I went, sweet. So obviously we are still here doing the Hodaki Breakfast show this morning. But are we? I'm pretty sure, man. You know what I mean? It feels like we're here. Like this doesn't feel like the afterlife. This feels too similar to my regular life. Yeah. We're on breakfast, man. Yeah, you're right. So heaven for me is just my regular life except for I'm now on brekkie. Yeah. With Pugs and Hoity J. And you get your whole day after the show to enjoy, man.
11:59Keyzie:Drinking your foul instant coffee.
12:02Mike Minogue:It's delicious. It's getting me through this show, that's for sure. What would you guys do if the rapture was coming? So if I said to you, you've got a week or even two days. You've got two days and then the rapture will be here at 5pm, let's say. Yes. Saturday afternoon, what would you do?
12:16Keyzie:I'm amazed that you even need to ask me that question, actually, Kesey, because you know what I'd be doing. Right, is it the sort of thing you can't go into because we're on the breakfast radio?
12:23Mike Minogue:People skits are in the car and stuff.
12:24Keyzie:those lines. Let's just say, you know, I recently had a two-day holiday and there was a lot of what I would be doing in the rapture going on in that two-day holiday. Look, I don't mind admitting, and people will be surprised by this, I'm a fit and virile man, and there's certain things I like to do when I have time off, and certainly if there was a rapture coming, I'd be making love frequently.
12:48Jason Hoyte:So he gave you a weak warning. What would you be doing for the other six days, 23 hours, and 59 minutes?
12:54Mike Minogue:to do yeah man it's good one minute every week is it jace i didn't know that about you yeah yeah at best i'll be honest mine uh with the rapture coming i don't think that particular pastime would even come into equation for me i think i'd be too worried about the rapture so you know hard to you know when there's a rapture coming um and mine would mostly be food based i think i would drive around i'd get all of my favorite foods from all my favorite restaurants It's court stopping, mostly at Reburger and Bunnings Trade for a snack. And then just assemble just the all-time buffet of my favourite foods and then just go to town.
13:32Keyzie:Look, if I'm being really honest about it, it would be very hard for me not to be completely steamed the whole time. Yeah, because I feel like you'd freak out a wee bit as well. And actually, you know what I'd do? If there was like two or three days to the rapture, I'd get the fellas over to my house. No, you wouldn't. You'd take the world ending. To get us over for dinner, finally. You know, we could all go out together. How good would that be? Can I bring my wife? Hell yes.
13:58Mike Minogue:Well, not in that way. I don't want to come anymore. Go, this is a tune. What would you do, New Zealand? Give us a text on 3483. Heaps of prizes to be won. Says here that we've got 17 wheelbarrows from Bunnings Trade to give away and a garden shed. Heaps of landscape as well up for grabs. Landscape? Yeah, yeah.
14:12Keyzie:Three or four new hoes here, I see.
14:14Mike Minogue:Huh?
14:15Jason Hoyte:The Hauraki Big Show with Jase, Mike and Keezy. Tune in weekdays at four on Radio Hauraki.
14:21Keyzie:Right now, it's time for...
14:23Mike Minogue:Oh, yeah, hey, guys. Text here from Steve. What's on the breakfast? With me, Keezy.
14:33Keyzie:For those of you that actually don't listen to the Drive show, we have a very, very popular segment called What's on the Dinner with Me, Keezy, and it just goes off every single day. It's one of our top hitters, isn't it, Mogi?
14:47Jason Hoyte:It's absolutely huge. It's gotten to the point where it's so big, we've actually brought it back a bit, so it's only maybe one or two days per week. Keezy, because he's the star of it, he doesn't like to do it that much. Yes. What is a humble guy? He is a humble guy. So we have to twist his arm. It took a lot for him to be convinced that we should do it for breakfast, but I think people are going to be absolutely fizzing about this. Keezy, what do you say, brother?
15:11Mike Minogue:Thanks, fellas.
15:14Jason Hoyte:How it works is I read out what you're having for brekkie, Slow down because it's complex. Yeah, yeah.
15:20Keyzie:And can you just straighten your head up because it's all askew at the moment and it's really throwing me off.
15:25Mike Minogue:I'm doing my best here, man, right? I know you are. Okay. Welcome to What's on the Brickie with me, Keezy.
15:35Mike Minogue:G'day, fellas. Jared here. Oh, my God. Jared Waira Hargraves. Yeah, Jared Waira Hargraves. NRL player. Jared's having mousetraps, and he's in the Tron. Who's he? Day for it.
15:52Keyzie:Is a mousetrap like a muffin with spaghetti and cheese on it? Is that right? Is that a mousetrap?
15:56Jason Hoyte:I think it's a piece of bread with some cheese and some marmite, a little bit of lemons here, a little bit of cracked pepper.
16:02Mike Minogue:Oh, okay. Yeah, nice. Yum. Having that for Brecky sounds good. What about this? G'day, fellas. Dan here. Dan Hooker.
16:11Jason Hoyte:Is it Dan Hooker?
16:13Mike Minogue:Carter. Oh, okay. Yeah. Boo. Spates and a dart for Brekkie.
16:19Jason Hoyte:He is a sicko, eh? Yeah, what an absolute bagpipe. He has gone right off the rails since he left the All Blacks. Yeah, that's true. Shocking. That's still a great breakfast. God, delicious. G'day, guys. Harold here. Harold and Morewood.
16:35Mike Minogue:Yeah, Harold the Giraffe from the Life Bus from when we were kids. G'day, guys. Harold the Giraffe here from the Life Bus, having a couple of savaloys and an egg in a sandwich and a V to wash it down. Cheers.
16:51Keyzie:Oh, God, there's something about a couple of savaloys. Beautiful.
16:55Mike Minogue:This is backbone stuff, though, isn't it? Yeah. A lot of people, actually, I've noticed here, morning, Brecky Show, I'm hooning an instant coffee with a peanut butter sandwich this morning. Oh, yeah. It's backbone shit. It really is.
17:08Jason Hoyte:I mean, you get out of bed at the last possible moment, you need to get something in you, and you make yourself a peanut butter sandwich.
17:13Mike Minogue:What about this last one for what's on the breakfast? Oh. Oh, for now. Three more. Yeah, yeah. I reckon a couple, Keezy. Three more. G'day, fellas. Adam here. Adam Gilchrist.
17:25Jason Hoyte:Oh. Who? Sandler. Which one? Sandler. Wow. The Sandman.
17:30Mike Minogue:The Sandman. G'day, fellas. It's the Sandman here. I'm having crunchy peanut butter on toast for on the breakfast. I'm going to sneak a pepper steak and cheese pie on the way to work, too. Yeah, that's the way I go.
17:41Keyzie:That sort of staple fare, I would think, for this time of the day, some kind of petrol station pie. Yeah, and an energy drink. Yeah, yeah, energy drinks. Yeah. And about, like, four or five darts.
17:52Mike Minogue:I reckon. Yeah, nice. Hey, thanks for joining me for On The Breakfast this morning. See, how good was that, man?
17:57Keyzie:Yeah, that just went off. Keezy! Keezy! Keezy! Keezy!
18:02Mike Minogue:The Hauraki Big Show. Weekdays from four on Radio Hauraki.
18:07Keyzie:Due to the fact that we've been absolutely inundated, with breakfast text. We're going to carry on with it, fellas.
18:13Mike Minogue:Oh, yeah. Hey, guys. Text here from Steve. What's on the breakfast? With me, Casey.
18:23Keyzie:Can I just say, fellas, we were promised by the boss of this station that he would be bringing us crap loads of coffee. A, he's not even here, and B, I see no coffee. I know you like your instant filth. Yeah. But I want a proper coffee, and I want it bloody now.
18:42Mike Minogue:Speak of the devil, he's just turned up. He's literally just walked in. He's literally just walked in. G'day, by the way, this segment isn't just Jace whinging about not getting free stuff. This segment is you text in what you're having for breakfast, we read it out, and then you go in the drawer to win a cement mixer. G'day, fellas. Couple of dirty saucy McMuffins for me muffin hole. Hash brown on the side, put it in the muffin because that's how it's done. Hashtag Fat Boy Special. And that's from Pugs. And that's from Pugs. That sounds bloody good, actually. It sounds delicious. Yeah. G'day, guys.
19:13Mike Minogue:Just had three firecracker chicken bites and a Coke from the servo. See, I can do a chicken tendy in the morning if I'm, like, stopping at a servo and I'm having a big morning.
19:23Jason Hoyte:But not spicy chicken. I'd love that any time of the day. It's spicy in the morning, man. Yeah, totally.
19:28Mike Minogue:G'day, fellas. Peanut butter toast and a cucumber.
19:32Keyzie:I just feel like they're taking their piss there a little bit. I mean, that just sounds stupid.
19:36Mike Minogue:I feel like they're slicing the cucumber and putting it on the peanut butter toast. I think that would be quite nice. What else would they do with the cucumber? G'day, guys. Marmite on toast with an Irish coffee. That's a hard man breakfast. All woman. All woman. Come on, pugs, man. Stop being so sexist, pugs. Come on, man. Keep it to off here, man. G'day, guys. Three double shot coffees and six kid-sized raisin packets. with the little lady on them.
20:07Keyzie:Yeah, a sun-kissed. I don't know if you guys were the same, but like in my lunchbox, if I got one of those raisin packets, I'd be filthy.
20:14Mike Minogue:You know what I mean? I loved them because you eat all the raisins out, and I was the kind of kid that would grab them all out, separate them all, because they come in chunks. I'd like to separate them all out, so they were just individual raisins.
20:23Keyzie:Oh, my God, you are so massively anal. Wait, wait, wait, wait.
20:27Mike Minogue:Give me finish. Eat them all individually, and then use the raisin box as a whistle. because you can blow into it and it makes a whistling noise. Man, you were such a cool kid, Keezy. They'd call me Raisin Whistle Keezy. G'day, guys. Having an extra long rip on the vape and a coffee and then I'll be off to drive the digger. Yeah, nice. Backbone. Backbone stuff. One more, of course. I'll pick my favourite one. One large sausage, one large fish and a cup of tea. A fish and a sausage for breakfast? That's the most random I've heard, I think. Fish and coffee? Fish and coffee is disgusting. Yeah, that's foul.
21:06Mike Minogue:Get a grip of yourself, for God's sake. You're a backbone, and you're officially in the draw to win that cement mixer too, so well done. Oh, sorry, email from Bunnings Trade. Not allowed to give away a cement mixer. Can we still give away the hoes? Yeah. Yeah, good.
21:20Jason Hoyte:The Hauraki Big Show with Jace, Mike and Kesey. Tune in weekdays at four on Radio Hauraki.
21:26Keyzie:Oh, good morning, New Zealand. So very nice to have your company this Friday morning. Jeez, a wet and windy day here in the city of Sales Hope. It's better where you are. Such a pleasure to have your company. This show, by the way, is brought to you by Bunnings Trade.
21:47Mike Minogue:Get into a project sorted with Bunnings Trade.
21:50Keyzie:Uh-huh, it's Bunnings Trade.
21:56Mike Minogue:What the hell is that, Bugs?
21:57Keyzie:Just a reminder, by the way, everyone that texts in on 3483 goes in the draw to win something from Bunnings Trade. You were mentioning earlier in the day there, Mogey. Could be a fence. Could be a new deck. Whatever it might be that you need around the house. That's right.
22:17Jason Hoyte:Bunnings Trade is the one for you. It's unbelievable. Obviously, in breakfast, the yeah. Prizes get bigger, don't they? So, yeah, if you text in about anything at all, if we pick you out, you can have whatever you want. You can have a new fence, retaining wall, patio. What just on that? Bird bath. Bird bath. Bird bath and beyond.
22:43Keyzie:Oh, you just spat. Can you please stop spitting everywhere? What the hell is going on with you today?
22:53Mike Minogue:Bird bath and beyond. That's the stupidest shit I've ever heard.
22:58Keyzie:Bird Bath and Beyond.
23:02Jason Hoyte:The Hauraki Big Show with Jace, Mike and Keezy. Tune in weekdays at four on Radio Hauraki. I do wonder if I'm cut out for this breakfast stuff, fellas, after the morning that I've had. And now for people that regularly get up at this time, this is going to sound real punishing. Which is everyone listening. Which is literally everyone listening. However, I'm on drive time, so I get up at eight o 'clock every day and I go to bed very, very late because we do the drive show usually. And now I set my alarm for about, what, 4.30 this morning and got up, got ready, got in the shower. Oh, yeah, that's hot.
23:38Jason Hoyte:Got out of the shower, did all my bits and put some moisturizer on just so I didn't feel crusty because it's the morning, you know what I mean? Put my cool outfit on and my cool hat and packed my lunch, got my laptop and then stood in the hallway and checked my phone and it was 2 o 'clock. Are you serious?
23:54Mike Minogue:Not five o 'clock.
23:56Jason Hoyte:Did you not at any point look at your phone? I did look at my phone. I turned my alarm off. Oh, so you set an alarm for two o 'clock. I woke up thinking my alarm went off, got up, turned it off, saw that it said 4.40 as the alarm, not the time, and then got out of bed and got in the shower and got ready. That is a huge... And I was standing in my hallway like a massive dickhead. I've never, ever even heard of anyone doing that. That's amazing. No, it was out the gate. I was standing there just holding my little briefcase, just like, what am I going to do now? Wow. So I took my hat off and I got back into bed, like the top layer of my bed and pulled the blanket up and tried to go back to sleep.
24:31Jason Hoyte:My guess is you didn't get any extra sleep. I did get back to sleep for about 20 minutes and it was just horrific nightmares. Right. It was so good.
24:40Keyzie:I've done the thing when I've been filming and stuff and that's, you know, they're terrible hours. You have to be on set at like five o 'clock in the morning in Manukau, you know. Oh, Manukau, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And it's terrible. And I've set the alarm, but to the PM, not the AM. Oh, that'd do it. And you've missed? You've been late? Yes. And I get a call on my phone on set going, where are you, Jase? Oh, my God.
25:10Mike Minogue:Right. And then how long would it take you to get ready? Because you're way out west. You're deep out west Auckland. I'm deep in the bush. You are deep in the bush.
25:17Keyzie:Well, in that sort of scenario, I'm very good at reacting. and it's just douche, douche, douche and I'm out there.
25:24Mike Minogue:Right, okay. Have you had any disasters in the morning, Keezy? No, I don't think so. I'm usually a pretty onto it employee. Like, I'll get here on time. This morning, literally, I set my alarm for, I think, 10 to 5. Woke up at 10 to 5, straight in the shower, get changed. Here at work, ready to go. And I know the date. Oh, good for you, man.
25:44Jason Hoyte:That's so cool, man. That's great content. You're a legend, Keezy. You're the man, Keezy. The Hauraki Big Show with Jace, Mike and Kesey. Tune in weekdays at four on Radio Hauraki.
25:55Mike Minogue:Hey, plenty of texts coming through on 3483 on how people's mornings are, fellas. And also I've noticed people commenting on the big show doing breakfast for a Friday morning. What a pleasure to wake up to you three stallions. Isn't that nice? That is lovely. Then this one here says, what's the frequency for the breeze? So, you know, with every compliment, there is also the opposite.
26:17Keyzie:Yeah, you get a slapping down, and so you should.
26:20Mike Minogue:What about this backbone here? Feeling shagged. Had a big day yesterday. I want more details than that. Yeah, yeah, totally. Yeah, what were you up to? Morning, fellas. I've been baking pies since 4am, so all the mighty backbones can stop and grab a hearty brekkie on their way to work. Kia kaha. And this is genuine.
26:36Keyzie:I have this fantasy, actually, of being a baker. I think that would be a great life. I mean, the hours are crap, but getting up at the crack of dawn and baking bread and pie, And the smells. How good, man.
26:48Mike Minogue:How good. 100%. However, you currently have one of the easiest jobs in the world and you still go, F sake, every time you have to go to work. So waking up and being at the bakery. How do you know, man?
26:59Keyzie:Are you in my house? How do you know I do that, Kesey?
27:03Mike Minogue:I don't need to be in your house to know that you do that, Jase. Every pie would just have Hoity J spit particles in it from him going, before he puts the top on. They'll be like, wow, these are heated naturally using size. Morning, Glees here at work already. International freight forwarder, Backbone. Looking forward to an early knockoff today, then start hydrating for an AB's 13-plus victory. Yeah, man, totally. Over Australia. Someone else has said Eden Park, 32, Wallabies 11. Yeah, that's a very good call, actually. Morning, fellas. Sounding fantastic this morning. Pugs, your massive Backbone.
27:39Mike Minogue:Spit roasting the morning in Drive Show. What? Jason, Tony, pick up your game, fellas. That's very kind. It's very confusing because there's actually an announcer on our station called Tony already. Yes, Tony Lyle, of course. So like jokingly calling me Tony. You know, it's a bit confusing for the listeners. I think we just sort of drop it. Well, I don't think he's joking because you are wearing your Tony jacket as we speak on the mic right now.
27:59Keyzie:Yes, that's true. Yeah.
28:00Jason Hoyte:Yeah, yeah, yeah.
28:01Keyzie:And weirdly, you've got a sort of Tony kind of face. What the hell does that mean?
28:06Jason Hoyte:The Hauraki Beat Show with Jace, Mike and Keezy. Tune in weekdays at four on Radio Hauraki.
