In short
The hosts rant about “upgrading” everyday tech that makes life harder (car controls, phone-based building entry, QR codes, iPad ordering), then pivot through segments on shout-outs/giveaways, cricket and other sports, TV ideas, music “Friday Throbber,” a vinyl origin-story giveaway, and weekend plans (picnic, golf fundraiser, advice email).
Guests (people featured/called in)
No named guest interviewees; the show is hosted by Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue, and Keyzie (Keezy/Moggy). A caller named Hairy Terry (floor sanding business) wins a vinyl. Multiple listener callers/texters are referenced via 3483 shout-outs.
Key claims
Tech convenience removes human interaction and increases friction (QR/iPad ordering, phone app entry failures). “Modernising” can be worse than older systems. Removalists may add a separate “stairs” charge. Cricket and UFC title fights are major weekend draws.
Notable examples
Phone app door locks taking longer; QR code restaurant ordering without a phone scanner; iPad waitstaff “blue light” ordering; removalist charging $30 extra for stairs; “Family Meal” TV concept; Friday Throbber songs (Head Like a Hole, Prodigy, Kneecap).

0:09Keyzie:Welcome, this is Big, to the Hodaiki Big Show. Really Big. With Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Keyzie. Oh, g'day you mad bastards. Great to have your company this Friday afternoon, the 14th of November 2025. And you, my friends, as always, listening to The Big Show, brought to you by Reburger. Yeah. Craveworthy street food, freshly made with reberg, yeah. Yeah. Yeah, great stuff.
0:33Jase:G'day, Moggy, you stallion. How's life? Going pretty grousey, you mad dog, you're 600B. Although I will say I've had too much to eat. Got a little bit of a coma going on. You know what I mean? You know when you eat too much, Keezy, and you get a little bit sleepy? No, I only eat the exact amount I need, never anymore. Oh, man, you're the man, Keezy. Thank you.
0:51Keyzie:Just on that front, by the way, fellas, I got home quite late this afternoon and ended up eating three crackers. So I know what you're talking about there, Moggy. I was so bloated. Yeah. My God. G'day, Keezy. Hi. Is that it? Yeah, man. You haven't commented on my appearance in any way. Well, I just felt that, you know, I was making you self-conscious. And I didn't want you to feel self-conscious because you're an immaculately dressed, well-presented, handsome young goofball. There it is. Thanks, Jase. I am a wee bit goofy and I've accepted that Yes, there's nothing wrong with goofy I think it's like, yeah There are worse things I could be Oh, absolutely Absolutely Yeah No, no, there are Definitely Hey, by the way, I want to reinstall this Before Mogi tells us what's on the show Frout Out Shidays 3483 Let us know what's going on for you Friday afternoon If you don't know what that is, it's a shout out We do it on Fridays and one time like a year ago Jase accidentally said frown out shy day yeah every text that comes through on 3483 in the draw for a$50 re-burger voucher
2:05what's happening on the big show
2:07Jase:with old Mogi well she's a hell of a show today fellas we've got another cricket chat which is also coupled with a giveaway another couple of tickets to go and see the Blackcaps versus the West Indies we will of course have the throbber once more bloody excited about this the theme today fellas there is no theme We're mad dogs. Yeah, yeah, totally. Roaming the prairies. Not only that, next up, we're going to be talking about things that don't need to be upgraded. Potentially a very specific chat, but we'll see how we go. Meantime, here's the hives. The Hauraki Big Show. Weekdays from 4 on Radio Hauraki.
2:43Keyzie:Bush. This Friday afternoon, the time is 4.12. Fellas. Fellas? Got a bone to pick. Got a bone to pick. Nice. That was cool Thanks man I think technology's gone too far Don't need to tell me that Keezy I haven't turned a computer on in 14 years No no no but you're the other way though You're too far the other way I think technology peaked at around about 2009
3:11Jase:What happened then? So things have started from that point You know we're talking iPods and things like that Their first iPhone might have come out sort of near then But specifically in cars all the cars nowadays have a big iPod in the middle which is where you control everything so you want to turn down the fan or whatever put the AC on you have to click through menus tap the thing in my current car you push the on button you know nowadays everything is way too complex it looks cool but it's way harder to use I agree it's stupid I agree so my 2004 Honda Accord that I've got has got a stereo with the actual manual buttons 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 to hit your presets it's got bluetooth so I can still play them are tunes.
3:53Oh, is that what those numbers are for? Yeah, man. And I just think, at the moment, they're sort of modernising stuff that doesn't need to be modernised, and it's actually making things way worse. Yes, I agree. I agree. Sadly, there's nobody here
4:07Jase:that's disagreeing. We're all agreeing.
4:09Keyzie:Well, I mean, I'm hot on technology, because you were fuming. I just want to tell the people out there, we've had an upgrade in that regard to our entry system into the building now. We used to have swipey cards. That's right. You'd take your swipey card out or you'd attach it really coolly and styling to your pants and you'd do the little bleep bleep. Now it's all through your phone. It's an app that you download onto your phone, which is fine. It then uses the Bluetooth on your phone to open the door. The locks now take way longer. Half the time you've got to do it, it doesn't work. You've got to then get your phone out, go into the app and fire it up again.
4:45And as Joe Jury from the ACC found out last night, his phone died. He couldn't get in the building. Yes. Just stupid. Why did we upgrade it? The swipe cards are fine.
4:53Jase:I'd love to know how much it cost. Yeah, I don't know. To sort of upgrade? Yeah, it would have been plenty. But you're exactly right because then I go to use that and I have to close the app, open the app. You know, it's just – I'm surprised I haven't fired up. I'm just sort of resigned to it. Yep. But it is a waste of everyone's time.
5:10Keyzie:Yeah. Just on that one, I've got a bone to pick. Oh, really? I've got a bone to pick. Don't get me bloody started on QF codes. QR code. QR code. Oh, okay, QR. I mean, you go to a restaurant and it's all, you order through your phone now and it's like, oh, fuff. And I still don't have a scanner on my phone. Even you guys have tried to help me get a scanner on my phone. It doesn't have one. Yeah. And so it's like, oh, fuff.
5:43Keyzie:F*** sake. You know, just come and have some human interaction with me and tell me what the specials are. I agree.
5:52Jase:I've got a bone to pick as well, actually, on that note. Oh, really? Okay. I got a bone to pick! When we're over in Fiz, yeah. Yes. The wait staff, all lovely people, they come over to you, but they don't come over with a pen and pad or, God forbid, a memory. They come over with an iPad. And everything gets ordered on the iPad, which I'm assuming then gets fed into the kitchen. But then what happens is you've got no relationship with the person serving you. They're not chatting. They're not using their memory. There's no sort of conversation with them Correct It completely removes This need to be exactly correct At every single turn Removes human connection Yes You don't have this nice chat Instead you're like We're out on the beach The missus and I They've got a table out on the beach There's a whole bunch of other tables Everyone's sitting out there And all the wait staff's faces Lit up with blue light While they're writing down What your order is It's just like Who asked for this shit?
6:48Yeah man Yeah I mean I quite like the iPad I mean, I quite like that in terms of because I hate it when they get my order wrong. But I feel like we have gone too far now. I agree.
6:59Jase:It's the same thing. We were talking about it fairly recently, pushing the button on the boot of your car so that you don't have to, you know, God forbid you use your arm to push it down. We are just lazy sons of people. We wonder.
7:12Keyzie:We wonder, don't we, fellas? We do. With this huge obesity epidemic that we've got in some places in the world, It's no wonder Because we never get off our fat arses anymore
7:25Jase:So what's your bone to pick with fat people?
7:28Keyzie:Well no it's the fact that We're all trying to make everything so easy Where we have to make no effort whatsoever Instead of just being a human being And interacting and pushing shit So that's not what my original bone to pick was Mine was just that It's easier to push buttons on my aircon in my car Than using an iPad set up So I feel like we've gone down a completely different path here.
7:51Jase:I don't think you should have said that about people that are overweight though, Keezy. And young people riding their bikes on the footpath. Bloody Nora! The Hauraki Big Show with Jace, Mike and Keezy. Tune in. Weekdays at 4 on Radio Hauraki.
8:08Keyzie:Back there on the Radio Hauraki Big Show this Friday afternoon. It is Frowd Out Shire Day. What are the people saying, fellas, on 3483? That's right. A frown out is a shout out. If you would like to do one, 3483 is the number. Everyone that texts through in the draw for a$50 Reburger voucher. Massive frown out to Jed in Wellington battling chicken pox all week.
8:30Jase:Frown out. The pox. You know, the pox will make you sterile, Jase. You know about that, man? Apparently so. Yeah, so if you get it when you're younger, Kesey, I don't know if you've ever had it. Yeah, I have. If you get it when you're younger, you're just tickety-boo. But if you get it when you're older, it can make a man sterile and also makes those spots scar. It can scar and last forever. So I had a guy, I'd never had it before, and a guy at work came along and he had it and he looked horrendous. Turning up at work, the bastard there. So I went and got myself tested. It turns out I've got natural immunity to chicken pox.
9:06Jase:Wow, okay. It's my superpower, Keezy. Chicken pox can't take me down, brother.
9:10Keyzie:This is the weird thing on the pox. But I am sterile as well. Right, okay, so neither here nor there Yeah
9:17Jase:I had a joke there but I didn't say it
9:19Keyzie:I don't know that I've had chicken pox
9:21Jase:Oh, well you don't want to get it now, man I'll tell you what
9:23Keyzie:Well, you know, I'm an old ram cast now, fellas What does it matter if I'm sterile? I'm just thinking about your horrific scarring Oh, right, yeah
9:31Jase:Yeah, yeah, yeah Good stuff, fellas G'day there, shout out A frown out to my brother who lives in the UK And is probably sleeping right now Absolute backbone, hoity jizz, you simply must go Have you got any plans to go, man?
9:47Keyzie:Well, look, I'm in talks with management at the moment, fellas, about getting a couple of days off maybe next year so that I can do the big Euro trip. Two days off, yeah, right. Yeah, yeah. Are you serious? Well, to be honest with you, Keezy, I pushed for three. You know what I mean? I thought, go big, go big, and maybe they'll give me two. Far out. Well, good luck with that, Jase. I've got my fingers crossed for you, man. G'day, fellas. Frout out Friday, frout out to Charlie the Backbone, the Backbone working hard in the office trying to secure rights to open a new coal mine in a national park, Kia Kaha.
10:24Oh, man. Frout out.
10:28Jase:What a backbone. What an absolute backbone. There's going to be a fair amount of paperwork involved in that, Jase. Yes. You know, and trying to convert the locals. Some of the locals will be on board, obviously. They love swinging a shovel, getting involved in the coal. There'll be others that aren't keen.
10:43Keyzie:It's hard, Jacker. I remember my coal days down in the mines there, and she's hard, Jacker, Keezy. Which mine were you in? You come out sort of covered in soot. Yeah, soot. What's from a chimney? Yeah, just coal dust and stuff. Coal dust. Yeah, man. Shocking bastard. That's why my lungs are poked. Yeah, right. It's not the billion darts. Oh, that could be adding to it. Also, here's a frown out and an apology all in one. Just want to apologise I shouted very loudly Backbone at Jase Outside his house on Wednesday Was very excited to see him Thanks That's from Gareth
11:14Jase:Don't feel bad about that Jase loves it He loves it The louder the better
11:17Keyzie:Can I just say And I have said it before I love chatting to the punters And saying g'day and stuff But can people please not do that Either walk up behind me and shout Backbone Or drive past me on the street And do the same thing It's going to give me a heart seizure one day I'm sure of it. Well, it's better than what they usually do is to drive past and yell, wanker!
11:43Jase:Hey, Jase. Okay, man. Right now, motherfucker. The Hauraki Big Show with Jase, Mike and Kesey. Tune in weekdays at four on Radio Hauraki.
11:55Keyzie:Faith no more there on the Radio Hauraki Big Show this Friday afternoon. Now, if you're a cricket fan, listen up. The first one day are against the West Indies in Christchurch, I believe, on the Sunday. If you want a double pass to that, Give us a call right now on 0800 Hauraki.
12:09Jase:How good. Hey, fellas, I moved office today, got a new office. Yes. So moved across to that. Back in the day, of course, I'd just do my own moving. You know, I'd get a new truck. Well, you've got experience, don't you? Yeah, that's right. I was a furniture removalist in Sydney for four years. Good times. That's probably how you got so cut. So hot, eh? So normally I do it myself, but I've certainly reached an age where I can't be bothered anymore. So I got a removalist, a truck and a couple of fieles there turned up. And it was, they were good men, good quote, because they charged by the hour. Rather than quoting for the whole job, they were just charging an hourly rate, which is what I wanted because I knew it wouldn't take long, you know.
Read the full transcript
12:55Jase:Yes. But finally when they'd finished, they gave me the quote, and I'd already worked out the time, and it was higher than what I thought it would be. Not substantially, but higher. And I said, brother, can you take me through your charges here? So he did. He goes, five hours here at$110 per hour, plus his half an hour of travel there, which is$55, plus$30 because you've got stairs. Oh, yeah. $30 for stairs. I said, what's that one? He goes, oh, because you've got stairs, that's$30. So I never heard of that. He's like, oh, no, yeah, we do that. So I thought that would – was that not just built into the hourly rate?
13:40Jase:Yes. Apparently not. Apparently they chuck on 30 – and that's not a lot of money either. No. It's only 30 bucks. Barely worth even bothering. Is it another 150 or something or 250 years or just don't even have it? But I've never heard of that. In the four years I was doing it, never did it, never heard of it.
13:57Keyzie:Yes. You heard of that before? No, I've never heard of it before. Mind you, I haven't moved in 28 years. But you know I'm assuming that most places Have stairs You know what I mean Well how many stairs But then you get into the specifics of Oh you've got more than 15 stairs
14:15Jase:Well that's right, do they charge by the stair They may do We have 15 stairs, it's not a lot of stairs It's not like a lot of stairs Yeah it's about 15 keys It might be 20 But it's between 50 and 20 So it's not like oh my god But maybe it is 30 bucks worth Of steps Yeah right Yeah but I was amazed by that And a little bit like What are we doing? Come on man So did they use the steps or did they use a lift or? They had no choice They had to use the stairs Here's the 30 bucks We have a lift but it doesn't work Oh sweet Yeah yeah yeah So maybe I should have come up with some weird charge for them But if you're out there and you're a furniture removal Listen I know there's a lot of you backbones out there Let us know if that's a standard sort of a charge or if old mogi's been ripped off again.
15:02348-30800-HODAKI. The HODAKI Big Show. Weekdays from four on Radio HODAKI.
15:08Keyzie:Metallica there on the Radio HODAKI Big Show this glorious Friday afternoon. Let's talk TV. What's on the telly with Mike Minogue?
15:22Keyzie:Yeah.
15:24Jase:Yes. Yeah. Fellas, I didn't watch any TV last night. I was out and about. I was shooting a TV show last night. I don't think I could talk about it. Yes, I understand. But you've been on the TV show before. It's a game show. We'll talk about it more when the time comes. And I'd like to get the host on and maybe some other guests and stuff. But, jeez, I had a great time. I wasn't excited about it. No. Bloody great show. Great show, well written, great host.
15:49Keyzie:Bloody good. Good stuff, mate. Well, on that front, I was filming today, fellas, and I had a particular scene. And I'll just say it's like a sort of family dinner set up. And it gave me an idea for a TV show, and I want to put it to you, called The Family Meal. And every 30-minute episode, or, you know, 23, every single episode is a family meal, but with a different family. And not a reality show, like a scripted show with actors, and every single meal is a different family and a different scenario. and you basically lock off the camera. It could be even an improvised thing. You just give the characters whatever their character is and you just see what happens.
16:31Keyzie:Because there's something about being captured in a family meal. You know, someone drinks too much wine. You haven't seen them for 15 years. It's someone's birthday. Resentment's come out. And I thought that could be an absolute doozy. What do you think? I like it.
16:47Jase:But that, for me, feels like a short film. You know what I mean? Yes. And for me, a short film should always have a twist at the end. There needs to be something that the audience doesn't see coming. So that would be my one note from the network. I'd say twist in the tale. Something like Roald Dahl used to do with his show Tales of the Unexpected. Yes. Something, a little twist in there.
17:08Keyzie:You could absolutely shove something in there at the end that just explodes. Because every episode is just a family meal. Yes. You don't think that'll get boring? No, because it's a different environment. It could be a different set-up, but it's just different families for every episode. So different characters, and you can have a different sort of environment, but it's still a family meal. Right, okay. So drama happens at the family dinner. Yes, and comedy and disaster. And it's like, cool, that was a great episode. Loved it, five blizzies. I wonder what's going to happen on the next episode.
17:42Oh, there's some drama at the family dinner. Different drama.
17:44Keyzie:Different drama, or it could be just drama, or the next one could be comedy. It could be hilarious. It even moves genres as well. Absolutely. It could be whatever you want it to be. Wow. Thanks, man. I mean, I don't know if it's for me. I was thinking of you, Keezy. I think you'd love it. Really? Who's in it? Are you going to get Keezy a role on it? Oh. Look, I. So you were thinking of me, and you're the one making it, and you're my agent. Well, no, I was thinking of you being the person that would love this sort of show, you know. We could get all your favourite comedians on it, for example. A couple of British comedians playing brothers.
18:24Keyzie:Yeah, right, okay. And you go, oh, and it's got blah, blah, blah, and blah, blah, blah on it. It's so good. And then this happens, and it's carnage. Drama. Drama, yeah. Oh, wow, yeah. Hey, how was your do last night, by the way? Because you didn't watch TV either. I didn't watch TV. I went to a do last night with old Pugson celebrating 30 years of PlayStation. It was excellent. God, that's fine, boy. It was excellent. They had a set-up with Jonah Lomu Rugby on a PS1. What? On a tiny old TV. What? They had a Tekken 5 fighting area. They had Crash Bandicoot Racing. I had a great time. So did Pugs, man.
18:57I would have loved a bit of Jonah Lomu Rugby. I hadn't played it in so long. Holy cow, it does not look anywhere near as good as I remember it. Oh, I remember it looking terrible.
19:05Jase:But it's kind of a charm. Yeah. I don't think they've ever improved on that game as a rugby game. No, that was the peak. Yeah, absolutely. But you think they'll just re-release it, Being exactly the same. Yeah. I mean, they've tried, but they kind of hit and miss, you know? Yeah. So they miss. But they start messing around. You're doing scrums. They're like, who cares? Just give me the ball, man. I'm fending to do. Sounds like great stuff, fellas. Oh, you'd love it, man. I give Jonah Lombi Rugby on PlayStation 1 4.5 buzzies out of 5. Oh, my God. I have to try it. Yeah. You simply must. Yeah, you're going to try it.
19:35Yeah, yeah. After 5, though, the throbber, fellas.
19:40The Hauraki Big Show with Jace, Mike, and Keezy. Tune in weekdays at four on Radio Hauraki.
19:49Keyzie:It's the Hauraki Big Show's Friday Throbber. Yes, indeed. Douche-douche. Oh, damn it. You forgot the douche-douche. I've done it the last two Fridays in a row.
20:02Jase:And that's the funnest part about the throbber. I know, man.
20:05Keyzie:You've got to get two chances to do it.
20:06Jase:Yeah.
20:07Keyzie:Hey, you know, listen, we haven't gone for a theme again today because, let's be frank, fellas, none of us could think of one.
20:11Jase:The only thing that I could think of And it was all too late in the end Was I think Metallica's here next week Oh okay So we could have gone our favourite Metallica tune You know we could have but we didn't Well maybe next week Yeah Sounds like a go Once they've gone Yeah yeah yeah
20:27Keyzie:Then we'll play a Metallica song Yeah yeah yeah just one Yeah man What's the Friday Throbber Jase? The Friday Throbber We each choose a tune to try and kick off your Friday afternoon Get you into the weekend vibe You give us a call on 0800 HODAKI The first of two wins That's right And that song gets played in full Pugsun said He reckons it's one of the best Throbber lineups We've had all year
20:48Jase:Is that right? Yeah Holy hell man Yeah Must be good Jase you must have picked An absolute throbbing tune
20:54Keyzie:Yeah that's not like you man Well I'm fans of these fellas Oh god They've just released a new tune Oh It's Head Like a Hole Strange World by Head Like a Hole
21:21Keyzie:There you go, fellas. Head like a hole. Yeah, head like a hole. Why not?
21:25Jase:Keezy wants to surprise us. He's got something pretty special coming up last. No, you can't say stuff like that because it'll impact us, Robert. I don't have anything special It's just a song Well of course I'll go now If you want I'm going to go the Prodigy here Okay Prodigy fellas You ready? Ready Jase? Yeah man Crank it
21:56Jase:Home and there from Prodigy
21:58Keyzie:I knew you were going for something like that because when you were in there with Pax Hunter, he was doing his Yummy Boys dance. We were loving it, man. Oh, and okay, it's going to be one of those tunes. Yeah, boy. My song's by a group called Kneecap. Oh, yeah. And it's called The Recap. Yeah, good. And it's an absolute belter. Now I almost strolled at a bank. Get me commies, money, I'm getting hurt, my thanks. We'll call it reparations, but it knock you wank. Try to take my money, but I keep it collected and fucked. Nah, nah, nah, let me hear the fodder. It's Hecap, The Recap. We have a furtish shot No, no, no Get me under
22:33Jase:God, that's a throbber, isn't it?
22:34Keyzie:That's a tune. Very yummy boys today. That's not yummy.
22:37Jase:But anyway. Great, great band out of Northern Ireland there, Jase. Right, never heard of them, I'll be honest. A couple of absolute weapons have been battling the UK government over the last few months. Yes, indeed. Been good stuff.
22:47Keyzie:Well, you decide, Ezeeland. Give us a call. 0800 Hauraki. In the meantime, here's a tune as well. The cult. The Hauraki Big Show. Weekdays from four on Radio Hauraki.
23:02Keyzie:It's the Horehi Big Show's Friday Throbber.
23:07Jase:Yes, indeed.
23:08Keyzie:Douche, douche.
23:09Jase:Have to wait until next week now, Jase.
23:11Keyzie:Can we replay that, please, Keaton? No. It's just because you keep forgetting you don't care about the throbber as much as me and Mogey do. If people don't know what we're talking about, by the way, it's that Jase keeps forgetting to go. Douche, douche. Douche, douche. At the right time. Yeah. That's four times in a row now. Shocking. Um, The Throbber, yes. No theme today. No. We're just going, you know, whatever. Whatever comes to mind. I went for the new one from Head Like a Whole Strange World. It's a strange world, I know. We've got big people, small people, all that. We've got these people playing at a speedboat.
23:51Jase:It's a tune, man. The chorus is even better. You'll play the verse there, Jase. I don't know why.
23:56Keyzie:Yeah.
23:56Jase:You know what I mean?
23:58Keyzie:I was in a bit of a hurry and I just went, oh, that'll do from there. It's a good tune, though. It is a good tune. Go and check it out.
24:05Jase:Will do. Moggy? I've gone with a little bit of Prodigy, baby. It's just a, God, just get that in you. Get it in you. Jase, can you feel it, man? Can you feel it? All I want you to do is take it.
24:25Keyzie:And put it inside you. I put it inside, man. It just felt weird. You loved it. My throbber is from a band called Kneecap. It's a song called The Recap. I almost strolled at a bank. Give me Cammy's money. I'm giving her my thanks. We'll call it reparations, but it'll knock you wank. Try to take my money, but I came and collected it. Nah, nah, nah. In the hill of Florida. It's Kneecap, The Recap. We have a first shot. You love that, eh, Jase? Just sat there with a massive frown on his face the whole time G'day Bell, you're a mad bastard, how's life? Hey, it's good fellas, I'm on my way home Oh, how good are you, Bell Hey Bell, what are you running with this Friday afternoon?
25:10I want strategy
25:12Keyzie:I knew it was going to be mogi, I knew it I wish you'd have it in me Yeah Good on you, you weapon Good on you, Bell G'day Hayden, you mad bastard, how's life? Oh, I'm going great That's good, mate. All right, Hayden, what are you running with there? I'm going with Keyes. Oh, Keyes. Good on you, mate. Good stuff. G'day, Sam. How's life? Good, fellas. How are you? Yeah, pretty great. All right, who are you going with, Sam? It's got to be Moggy's driver. Ah. Yeah! Ah, really? Okay. That's all good, I guess. Good on you, brother. I had high hopes for you there, Keyes. Yeah, man. I had high hopes for you.
25:55Jase:Oh, Jase was really hoping for you there, man. Were you?
25:58Keyzie:It feels like it's been a while. Since what? Since you had a win. I don't know what you're talking about. We'll get into the scores next. Yeah. Here's the winning thromber for today from the Prodigy. Is it Omen? Omen. It's an Omen. The Hauraki Big Show. Weekdays from four on Radio Hauraki. Prodigy. And that's your Friday throbber It is a throbber, Jase 3483, by the way Have your opinion on the Friday throbber This is a tune That's from Brian Yep What the hell is this average choice for the Friday throbber? That's from Aaron Yeah Interesting, isn't it? Really split Andrew says, nailed it, Mogey Throbber Yeah Yeah This is what I find with a throbber that wins, though It often is quite divisive You know you have quite a few differing opinions Like oh tune or this is You know airworms
26:57Jase:Well yeah I mean look there's one person that doesn't like that I think everyone would agree that tune is a throbber Ah two there's another person here Can I get an asterisk for that shitter But it is interesting though One thing I've found too is you're more likely to text in With a negative comment than you are With a positive comment So the fact that you've got you know a crap load of positive ones It's rare isn't it Keezy Very rare Do you guys want to know the score? What other scores man? Oh do you not want to know Jase? I don't care Because we can flag it I'm having a flag No I mean
27:29Keyzie:That's fine Kesey I've got a feeling Mogi's running away with it again Mogi is running away with it again He's on 15 wins for the year Yes So he's out in first place Jase you're in second On 12 wins With two asterisks For coercing a listener And playing a Pantera song With 25 F-bombs in it And in third place It's Keezy on seven with two asterisks for playing Freebird when it wasn't relevant and for bullying Moji. Do you think, Keezy, that you've got the throbby yips? The throbby yips. You know what I mean? Where you just haven't had a win for a while. It's been a long time. You're second-guessing yourself a little bit.
28:07Keyzie:You know what I mean? Well, I don't think I've got the throbby yips because what's actually happened is I have an extensive list of throbbers. And over the past four and a half years, I have used every single one of them. They're gone now. Yes. And so you can redo them, but I don't want to, you know, so I'm trying to find new and exciting throbbers like that song from Recap. Oh, Kneecap, sorry. But it's just not going down well with the audience.
28:31Jase:What do you do, man? Well, I mean. Look, I would just say continue what you're doing, man. Yeah? Just keep doing what you're doing, man. People either catch up or they won't. Yeah. You know what I mean? Yeah, totally, man.
28:42Keyzie:Just keep throwing punches, Keezy. Don't stop swinging Like for example
28:47Jase:Hey can I put it to you this way You can do it Totally man I believe in you
28:50Keyzie:I was really hoping You would win today Really Yeah genuinely man
28:54Jase:I don't care what the listeners say In my mind Kezi you're the champ Totally man The listeners haven't said anything About me have they
29:00Keyzie:You know and sometimes What do the listeners even know
29:03Jase:To be fair They've been voting with their feet Haven't they Yeah Yeah Not their phone calls But I really like that Kneecap song Actually I might play it next week And we'll see how it goes Probably win Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, I hated it. And I'll choose the prodigy and get no votes. We should do that, eh?
29:20Keyzie:As guns. Lurves, roses. The Hauraki Big Show. Weekdays from four on Radio Hauraki. Audio slave there on the Radio Hauraki Big Show this Friday afternoon. The time is exactly 5.27. Now, our more observant listeners will have noted that of late, the Big Show has made a vinyl. Yeah. And it's basically our origin story How the big show got together And all the dramas that sort of happened As we started the show That's right We recorded it onto a limited edition vinyl Which sold out We've got a few copies still up our sleeve If you'd like to win one of those Give us a call now on 0800 Hauraki The interesting thing is Once you've listened to it once People are, oh it's a podcast on vinyl It's your story You're not going to listen to it more than once But apparently it's been getting heaps of plays at parties and stuff.
30:14Yeah. DJ's been mixing it into their sets and just scratching.
30:17Keyzie:I've got to be honest with you, Keezy, I nearly played it as my throbber today. Our vinyl? Yeah. Our entire vinyl. Yeah, our entire vinyl. It's like an hour long. It is pretty long, but it's bloody good stuff. And here's the interesting thing about it, because we were talking about what we wanted it to be, and I think it was you, Maggie, who said, what about our sort of origin story? And it was amazing how easily it all came out. Yes. It just poured out of us
30:42Jase:No it did You start at the start Don't you Jase You do You start at the start And you just keep on yapping Until Pug Sun tells you to shut up Pretty much Yeah That's how a show works Yeah Exactly I guess the issue we've got now Is what are we going to do For the difficult second album Oh Yeah the follow up
30:58Keyzie:I've got an idea on that Maybe it's the downfall Of the big show Yes Wow yeah It could be hard to listen to that We'll call it Water Under the Bridge Yeah yeah yeah The big show story Yeah The phone lines are lighting up, just trying to see who we're going to here. Pugs on. All right, here we go. Hairy Terry, how you going? Yeah, not bad. How are we? Yeah, good, thanks. Mate, how'd you get your name? Just a hairy bastard, really. Okay, yeah, good. That's clever, sir. Hey, Hairy Terry. From Donaldson's Dairy. What do you do for a crust, mate? I'm a foreshander. Oh, bad guy. Bloody great stuff.
31:37Jase:You got the old knee pads, do you, man? or you've got a machine so you can stand up? I've worn out those knee pads plenty of times. Ah, be ev. Bloody blow through them. Oh, man, dog, Terry. Actually, Hairy Terry, do you have someone that has to go around hitting in all the nails first before you can sand?
31:54Keyzie:Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. It sounds like you've had floors done yourself, Keezy.
31:58Jase:Ah, yeah, he's watched a few guys do that.
32:01Keyzie:Hey, Hairy Terry, you know, what sort of costs are you looking at to get your floor sanded and stuff? Is she big money or is it pretty affordable? It's pretty affordable, mate. You know, we can always work something out. No, stop trying to get deals. Actually, stop trying to get deals.
32:17Jase:Jason's got a lot of lino in his house. Can you sand that for him, man? I've got no lino in my house.
32:22Keyzie:I can go straight through lino, mate. I'll go straight through to your joists if you want. Good on you, Terry. Well, good news, mate. We're going to flick you a copy of that vinyl, all right? Oh, you're goody. Good on you, mate. Have a good Friday. How about that? He seems like a nice chap. Yeah, what a backbone. I do have lovely floors in my lounge there. You have a lovely floors? I have a lovely floors. I don't know what kind of wood it is, but it's kind of a really very attractive. Balsa wood. With a bit of sanding and a bit of whatever they squirt on it.
32:57Jase:Woodpecker.
32:58Keyzie:You know, it would look beautiful, fellas. That's good, man. Thanks, fellas. Is it the best floor in the world? Well, it potentially could be. 40J, best in the world, A number one. The Hauraki Big Show, weekdays from four on Radio Hauraki. She had there on the Radio Hauraki Big Show this beautiful Friday afternoon. Now, fellas, I was filming this morning, and she was an early start, I'll be honest. What time are we talking here, man? I had to be on set at six. Oh, wow. So that's out in Fanuapai, so she's a fair old hike out there. So I was up at about court to five. Very nearly slept in this morning Was not happy I hate that Was not happy Did you go to snooze it?
33:40Keyzie:No I didn't even snooze it Keezy I stopped it And that was it And then I started drifting off again I went oh No
33:46Jase:I never snooze man
33:47Keyzie:Anyway you guys know In terms of my ablutions I'm pretty regular Oh you are And so by the time I got out to set And we went on to the set Old Hoity J's natural cycle Kicked into sort of force
34:02Jase:Yeah Into force
34:04Keyzie:You know, well, the natural occurrence within my body was happening, Keezy. Right, okay. Just use the word force. I.e. I needed to ablute. And quite urgently. Steamer time. Do we still have the steamer chat? We've never had steamer chat ever. Oh, you're joking. Paz, could you make one of those up, please? No, we don't. Anyway, the set that we were on was quite a small little house. And there's a full film crew there. And, of course, all the actors, et cetera, et cetera, setting it all up.
34:35Jase:60, 70 people there, Dave.
34:36Keyzie:Yeah, probably about that, Monkey. Yeah, that's about right. And there was only one toilet that I could see, and I sort of checked around the place. Yep, there's just one toilet. They don't get like portaloos or like a rental trailer or something in? Usually they do, but it wasn't there. Maybe it hadn't been delivered or something. So there was this one little pokey toilet in the middle of the sort of set, really, and I thought to myself, this is a bit of a dilemma. do I go in there and do my hoity steamer and then stink the place out or do I just hold firm? You know what I mean? Because I'm not like you two.
35:11Keyzie:I mean, you guys don't care. You just go and do a steamer wherever. No, that is not true. You know that I don't like going anywhere other than my house. You would have hated this then, Casey. Yeah, 100 % I would have. I would have loved it. And it was a genuine dilemma for me because I was like, what the hell do I do about this? and my decision in the end was to not do an ablution. Really? That was my decision and, you know, I needed to. I don't want to get into massive detail. I needed to. You don't need to. You don't need to. Mogi, I feel like you're the kind of guy that would have just gone.
35:44Jase:Well, if you need to go, you go. See? And what are you going to do? If you need to go, you're on set, they haven't provided toilets, there's one toilet, I need to get in there before the rest of the crew get in there. would 100 % be my attitude towards it. Right, okay. Yeah, I absolutely would have gone on there.
35:59Keyzie:For some reason, I just couldn't do it. And I ended up doing three scenes this morning, and it's the best I've ever acted. Really? And I think it was the tension in my body. Were you bearing down? I was bearing down, and I was seated in all the scenes too. Right, how good. So it was like it somehow aided my performance.
36:21Jase:The problem is that when you get home, and, of course, you know, you're thinking to yourself, as soon as I get home, I know what I'm doing. Yes. As soon as your bowels hear the key hit the lock on the front door. Boom. Boom. Game over.
36:35Keyzie:Well, this is the weird thing. Seriously, this is the weird thing. It just disappeared. Right. So really, it's gone. It's gone. I don't know what happened to it. I don't know where I put it. I don't know where it's gone. It's just disappeared. I thought you were more full of shit than usual today. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. The Hauraki Big Show. Weekdays from four on Radio Hauraki. Split ends there on the Radio Hauraki Big Show this Friday evening. What a beautiful evening, fellas. It is a beautiful evening, Jase. I hope it's beautiful where you are, New Zealand.
37:16Oh, that's nice, man. Thank you.
37:18Keyzie:I don't really care, to be honest, as long as it's beautiful here. Because it's so beautiful My wife and I You're beautiful Moggy Don't ever Sing James Blunt Over the top of my It was nice though
37:32Jase:Thanks man We're going for a picnic tonight Because she's had a busy Really really busy week And I was like What do you want to do on Friday Do you want to go out for dinner And she's like Honestly I just want to go Have a picnic somewhere And just chill So I was like Alright leave it to me I'll find us a nice spot Leave it to Beaver Leave it to Beaver What's that from? The TV show leave it to Beaver is that a real show? yeah but I was like look leave it to me I'll find some food and I'll organise it all it'll be really nice however I've only just remembered that I said I'd organise it all right what kind of picnic show like fish and chips is that romantic well not romantic yeah that's good enough is that what you're looking for good enough well no I wouldn't mind like something really that will really make her day well
38:14Keyzie:can I just make an observation here Kesey first and foremost it's bloody windy out there I don't know about you, but I hate having a picnic in the wind. Right, well, you're not coming, so. That'll probably get deep inside her gut. Can I just ask, because I know your wife. Do you, though? Very, very well. I don't know if you do. Like the back of his hand. And does she get stressed when you say, leave it to me, babe, I'll take care of the food? 100%. Yeah. Really stressed. Is she expecting, like, ham and pineapple pizzas? No, she's expecting. An omelette. How dare you have a go at my omelettes. King of the omelettes.
38:55The omelette king, thank you. To be honest, I was just thinking fish and chips because we never have it anymore. It used to be a real staple back in the day. I think you nailed it, man. Just fish and chips? Yes. I don't like fish, though.
39:05Jase:The trick is, well, you could get, I think you'd love sucking on a hot dog. Yeah, no, you're right. I do love a hot dog. A little bit of Tommy sauce. Yeah, Tommy sauce. Now, the thing that's going to set this picnic off is always the beveragears. Beverage. Now, what are you going to go with there? Because that's going to make or break this shit. We've got some ice-cold Fijoa kombuchas.
39:30Keyzie:Well, funny you should say that because I was going to suggest a Fijoa wine. Yes. An organic Fijoa wine to go with your soggy chips and overbattered fish. What? That does sound really nice, actually, a Fijoa wine. Yeah. That's the first date I ever went on with my wife. I bought a bottle of Fijal. Scowled the lot.
39:49Jase:Next thing you knew, she was up, Duff.
39:54Keyzie:The terrible thing is that's not entirely inaccurate.
40:01The Hauraki Big Show with Jase, Mike and Keezy. Tune in weekdays at four on Radio Hauraki.
40:07Keyzie:Keezy. Welcome back, you massive backbones. You're listening to The Big Show, brought to you by Ree Bergier. Handcrafted burgers, loaded fries, gourmet eats that will change the game. Reburger. Yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum. Mmm. You like that? Yeah. Yeah, totally, man. That is awesome. I'm going to get Reburger this weekend to actually go down to Tauranga. Ooh. Visit my brother there. He loves it, eh? Why don't you do the old Reburger for the picnic? Tonight? Yeah. She loves a cheeseburger My wife does The Reburger cheeseburger
40:48Jase:I think you've already used up all your Reburger vouchers I haven't you in Auckland No no no I haven't I've only used one But I'm going to go have it this weekend My wife does like Reburger cheeseburger But usually as a day after meal After a big night Right okay Yeah yeah yeah Because it really soaks it all up you know
41:06Keyzie:Sure I gotcha I gotcha If there's anyone anyone's got any ideas for we should have on this picnic tonight 3483 I'd be really grateful yes be really grateful quiche you make a quiche Keezy not between now and going for this picnic
41:21Jase:quiche Lorraine do you make a quiche Lorraine my name's Keezy and no I don't make a quiche Mogey Lorraine
41:30Keyzie:asparagus rolls yeah I'm gonna I'll make that cheese rolls they make your wee smell funny though yeah yeah that's all good I'm gonna make that alright Let's lock it in. Here's R.E.M. The Hauraki Big Show. Weekdays from four on Radio Hauraki. Blur there on the Radio Hauraki Big Show this Friday evening. Hey, fellas, it's a massive weekend of sport coming up. Let's have some sport chat. Huh, sport. Woo!
42:09Keyzie:I tell you what I'm fizzing about, fellas. Even though we've been discussing, Ree, the All Blacks, just what a bloody debacle rugby is at the moment in terms of, you know, the refereeing and all that sort of jest. The product itself, man. The product itself, Keith. That's right. You've got to love All Blacks v England. Yes. You know what I mean? Because we hate the English, don't we? It's black versus white. What do you mean? Well, you know, black versus white. What do you mean by that? Well, we're the all blacks. Racism alert. Racism alert. Is that what you meant? And we get, I mean, come on, fellas, don't you get fired up when we're playing England?
42:50Jase:Yeah, I really look forward to playing against him. And it's even more so because I think they're going pretty good. And I think we're not going particularly great. Yes. At Twickenham, the English get riding behind it. There'll be the old swing low sweet chariots while we're doing the harker. all that sort of stuff. They love their rugby over there. It's the home of rugby, isn't it?
43:07Keyzie:Yes. Can I put this forward as a little bit of conjecture? The reason I think that we look at England so, because they're all, we consider them toffs, because rugby over in England, of course, is very much a private schoolboy kind of a game. Yeah, rich people, yeah. Rich people, whereas in New Zealand it's just backbones. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And so we love to beat the English. You seem pretty fizzed up for it, man. You going to watch the game? Oh, no, I've actually got to stuff on on Sunday morning, so it's a bit of a bugger. I may record it. We'll see how we go.
43:37Jase:Sweet. What else is on? I'll tell you what else is on, man. The UFC is on Jack Della Maddalena who is the Australian champion in the welterweight division. Hell of a scrapper he is. He's a mad dog. He can throw punches. He can scrap with you on the ground. He does a lot. He's fighting Islam Mukachev who is, I believe, the lightweight champion. He's stepping up a division. He's going up a weight class straight into a title fight. It is going to be an absolutely humongous fight. Islam is a psychopath. Very funny. He's from Russia. He's a great, great character, a great champion. So it's going to be interesting to see how he goes because I'm fairly sure he's undefeated.
44:16Jase:And Jack Maddalena, he's just a backbone. He's a beast. It's going to be style versus style. Jack's more of a stay on your feet, knock you out sort of a guy, whereas Mark Achev's going to try and get him on the ground and choke his head off. Oh, nice. I am absolutely frothing about this fight. I love both those fighters. I don't want to see either of them lose, but that's just the way it goes sometimes. Right. It's not the greatest card in the world, but it's pretty bloody good. There's also the women's flyweight title bout preceding the Islam-Madalena fight, which is Valentina Shevchenko versus Zhang Wei Li, which is going to be a bloody barn burner as well.
44:50Jase:You're fired up for that? Are you going to watch it? No, I've got to do the lawns on Sunday. Oh.
44:57Is there cricket on Sunday, ODI? There sure is, Keezy. You must be fizzed up for that, Jase.
45:02Keyzie:Oh, I am fizzed up because we're playing really well, the old one-day game. What were you saying? We're ranked second in the world now.
45:09Jase:Only behind India there with West Indies. Our opponent's languishing down there in ninth position, Keezy.
45:14Keyzie:And I have to be honest with you. I think, you know, apart from the Ashes Test matches, New Zealand one-day cricket is my favourite cricket thing in the world. So it's your favourite. So you're going to watch the game? I think I'm going fishing, unfortunately, but we'll see how we go there, Keezy. The Hauraki Big Show with Jace, Mike and Keezy. Tune in weekdays at four on Radio Hauraki. Lincoln Park there on the Radio Hauraki Big Show this beautiful Friday evening. Perfect weather for a bit of golf at the moment, fellas. The sun's coming out. It's heating up a little bit, which brings me to the Swingers Club.
45:50Keyzie:and we've got an amazing opportunity for all you golf enthusiasts out there, don't we, Keezy? That's right. You can come and play around with us and the breakfast show as well. You have to pick a side, Team Big Show or Team Brekkie. We're looking for two pairs of two. If you are keen, hodaki.co.nz. We'll be playing at Windross Farm Golf Course out in South Auckland there. It's in support of Movember. Every single dollar you give fuels the program's research and support that help men live healthier and longer lives. Don't wait. Donate now. nz.movember.com. Yeah, man, how good. How bloody good.
46:21Jase:I'm excited about that, fellas. Yes. Getting around there. I'll probably do two or three holes. Yeah. Then I'll just boot around in the golf cart. Is that all good? You're just going to follow us up the rear there. I'll just run you over, Jase. Yes, well. Me and Pugs aren't in the golf cart.
46:34Keyzie:Funnily enough, actually, when we were playing in Fiji, Pugs did nearly run me over again. Did he? I'm beginning to get quite self-conscious about it because he ran me over. Where was it? Mutawai.
46:44Jase:Yeah.
46:44Keyzie:And then again in Fiji nearly. I had to dive and do a, what's it called? A dive roll. Yeah, you know, but we've got a phrase for it.
46:53Jase:A ninja roll? Lucy goosey. Oh, Lucy goosey.
46:56Keyzie:Yeah. Yeah, right. It was pretty close stuff. Heroine. It was quite funny that because it was a situation where it was Pugs and Isaac, who also works here, who's a stocky young gentleman, and Pugs thought, I think he was trying to do it as a joke at first, and he didn't realise. and then he drove up your foot and sort of started going up your ankle a wee bit and then panicked, went to put it in reverse but then just drove further up your ankle until he was up at your shin.
47:23Jase:Lucky you've got such a strong leg.
47:26Keyzie:Yeah, not twigs. Yeah, lucky you're so sturdy. But then just to finish this off, he stopped. He couldn't figure out how to get off you. He just stopped the car and went, oh my God, I'm so sorry with him on top of me. So, and then I think he eventually put it into reverse and managed to get off there. Oh, hang on, Pugs, do you want to – what was that? Isaac and I lifted the cart instead of just reversing it. We lifted it off. So you couldn't find reverse it. You had to hop off and lift it. Yes, we hopped off the cart and lifted it so Chase could get us. We were panicking. Hey, but get involved in that because it's a great competition.
48:00I'd love to see that happen again. Once again, if you're keen to enter hauraki.co.nz, come and join the Swingers Club. Do you like the Smashing Pumpkins? Who doesn't? The Hauraki Big Show. Weekdays from 4 on Radio Hauraki
48:14Keyzie:Led Zeppelin there on the Radio Hauraki Big Show this Friday evening Let's give out some advice for the weekend fellas
48:23Jase:Paddy Dab 69 At gmail.com Get in touch With the fellas It's a real email address, do get in touch If you need advice on anything and you can get some Reburger
48:37Keyzie:Have more people sent some in Keezy? Yep, there's been a few more coming in Good. And if you've been thinking about doing it, do it, because you've got a good chance of getting a voucher. This is a great one. It comes from Anonymous. G'day, fellas. Need some advice. I'm a plumber, and last week I was at a client's house working away as I do, day in, day out, slaving away, full stop. While retrieving more materials from the van, I had to walk through the lounge area where the clients were having their morning tea, probably about three meters away from my path. While making my way through the lounge, I thought I could let off one of my classic secret crop dusts, as is my want.
49:13In the process of this crop dust, I ended up ripping the most massive ass of my life, half a squeak away from pushing fabric. I turned to the clients to see disgusted faces, so I hit them with, oh, compliments to the chef.
49:32And then carried on with my day with normal interaction with the client. Now, at the start of this week, My boss called me in to have a chat It said these clients have made a formal complaint against me Which I think is ludicrous And I've subsequently been stood down from work And may be fired for misconduct Anyway, whose driveway should I do a steamer on? The clients or my boss? Cheers, Anonymous That's good stuff
49:55Jase:Compliments to the chef I hope Can I just say compliments to the chef for the compliments of the chef? Yeah, I agree
50:00Keyzie:I hope that's not true It is true No, I mean, I hope that he hasn't been stood down and stuff because I, come on.
50:08Jase:I've got a bit of experience in this area. Ripping ass. Not necessarily, well, actually, I did have an experience today. We'll see if we've got time for that. But if he's been stood down, there's a process that you have to go through. You can't just be standing people down willy-nilly when you're an employer. There's got to be a certain amount of warnings. So the fact that he has been stood down suggests that this is not the first time that he's done that. So the conversation's been had before. He's been ripping ass and complimenting chefs left, right and centre. There's been X amount of complaints made He's had a chat with the boss on several occasions He's not listened to any of that And now he's been stood down Well if the boss has to say Can you please stop ripping ass More than once Exactly Because if it was a one off from the boss You're like come on brother It's funny stuff But you can't do that Yeah not in front of the clients That's a verbal warning So that goes on your book there And then you're on with your day So if you're sitting in the lounge, right, or in your dining area, and you're eating your morning tea, and a tradie walks past a few metres away, rips ass hard out and says, my compliments to the chef.
51:15Jase:Well, and not just rips ass, and then rips ass turns and eyeballs you in your own lounge. That's right. Eyeballs you and then says, my compliments to the chef. Even though he hasn't eaten anything from the chef.
51:28Keyzie:I kind of love it. I totally get it's not appropriate but if someone did that to me I would find that very amusing
51:36Jase:I'll tell you what, you'd be in here talking about it on the show Yeah, well exactly, saying someone ripped ass
51:40Keyzie:and said my compliments to the chef So what does this guy do? He's trying to take revenge I think just Stop ripping ass At the client's house Or say, pardon me, I'm so sorry That just slipped out
51:54Jase:Yeah, oh I'm so embarrassed, that was disgusting of me Yeah, I don't think taking steamers on people's driveways is the answer. You know what my brother always used to do? I remember one occasion we were driving to Palmerston North, so in the middle of nowhere, farmland, my brother desperately needed to go to the bathroom, so we stopped in the middle of nowhere. He grabbed a letterbox off the post, a farmer's letterbox. He opened it, he dropped his steamer in it, he put it back on the post and he put the flag up. Yeah, good. So I'd do that. The Hauraki Big Show with Jace, Mike and Keezy. Tune in weekdays at four on Radio Hauraki.
52:37Keyzie:There you go, you mad bastards. Another week down. Another week done and dusted, fellas, as we get closer and closer to that Christmas break. I'm shifting it into neutral from here on out, fellas.
52:51Jase:Oh, have you not been in neutral? Nah. I'm going to do it. I'm shifting it into neutral. So from Monday onwards, you'll notice a marked difference in what I'm bringing to the table.
53:02Keyzie:I've been in Angel Gear for about two months.
53:06Jase:Really? Yeah, yeah. Well, what's Monday? Monday's going to be the 17th. Yeah? Yes. So that leaves us about four weeks. Far out. Jeez. Louise.
53:19Keyzie:Holy helmet. Hopefully we can extend that out and make it six weeks. Hey, and the podcast out. intro today. I don't know. What's the clip, Keezy? We're discussing interviews.
53:31Jase:One thing that I did here was you guys had a couple of wrestlers in the studio. Yes. And the guy's name was something like Venom. Yeah, right. And Jase, you were talking to him about something mundane, something very day-to-day, but you just kept on saying his name. You know what the problem is, Venom? And I was saying this, and you said it over and over again, and I was crying because it It was, all you did was keep on saying his name, but it underlined what a ridiculous name.
53:59Keyzie:I do vaguely remember that interview too.
54:01Jase:It's very funny. I wish you could, obviously Bougiar is finished, but what's weird about it is that you delete the podcast. The podcasts are gone forever. Are they?
54:11Keyzie:I don't think they are.
54:12Jase:Where are they?
54:12Keyzie:I don't even know that we did podcasts.
54:14Jase:They're certainly not on our feed, which is, you know, Bougiar used to be on our spot. Right. But it all gets cleaned out.
54:20Keyzie:Right, okay. So the same as the Instagram,
54:21Jase:That all got cleaned out before we came on. And it's a shame. You should be able to go back and listen to that. Yeah, you're right. Some sort of archival thing.
54:27Keyzie:Yeah, yeah, yeah. What's the plan this weekend, Moggy?
54:29Jase:Well, you'll be pleased to know, Jase, tonight I'm going back to my new office. I've got a new office. Yes. I've got a business there. I don't know, Keezy. Frank Management and then Frank Podcast. Got a new studio. Keezy, we've decided we're keeping the TV, man. The really big one. We filled it up with the furniture today, and it looks absolutely awesome. Well, there you go. With furniture in there, it looks awesome. So I'm going back there. guys come around to install a dishwasher. Nice. Seven o 'clock in the morning, I'm meeting a guy to fill in a whole bunch of holes and paint my office, the old office, before we hand it over.
54:57Jase:Then I've got to go and have a look at a table that we're going to put in the podcasting studio. Then on your Sunday, I'm watching UFC, I'm watching cricket, I'm watching rugby, and I'm doing Jack, except for heaps of work. Who's Jack? Good stuff, mate.
55:09Keyzie:What about you, Kezi? Are you a picnic tonight? And then going down to Tauranga tomorrow, work on my motorbike, hang out with my brother, play golf. My mum and dad come home from holiday on the Sunday. I'm going to cook them dinner. Yes. And I'm going to drive back to Auckland on Monday morning. Good stuff, mate. What about you, Jase? Well, I've got my wife's staff due tomorrow, remember? Dress-ups at the bowling club.
55:31Jase:See ya.
