0:09Keyzie:Welcome to the Hauraki Big Show with Jason Hoyte, Mike Minogue and Keyzie. Oh, g'day you mad bastards. Great to have your company on this glorious Friday afternoon, the 6th of March, 2026. And you, my friends, as always, listening to The Big Show, brought to you by Toledo's.
0:31Mike Minogue:From work days to workouts, Toledo's keeps you balanced, refreshed and ready to go. It's a drink and it's good eating.
0:45I think then you need to give it a come dine with me type score.
0:51I'll give it four.
0:54Mike Minogue:Four, okay. Out of five, that's pretty good. No, out of ten. Yeah, we're going Come Dine With Me, not Buzzi's. Okay, it's a drink, it's good eating. It's a drink, it's good eating. Okay, I'm going to give it a six. Six, four, six.
1:06Keyzie:I see what's happening here. G'day, G'day, Mogey, you stallion. How's life? Going pretty grousy, you mad dog, you sick son of a bee. I'm glad it's Friday, I'll be honest with you. Yes. But bloody beautiful it is out there. Stunning, mate, stunning. God, it's gorgeous. Real treat. The summer we've been waiting for. It's one of those ones where I'm outside, I'm at, man, this is unreal. If I wasn't at work, I'd be in the sun. But the truth is, if I wasn't at work, I'd be at other work. Yeah. So I'd rather be at this work than the other work, fellas. Hey, guys, love you, man. Keezy, love you, man.
1:40Mike Minogue:That's good, man. Keezy? What's up? Love you, man. I'm excited, fellas. Tonight, the Wars are playing. First game of the season, 8 p.m. at Mount Smart. They're taking on the Roosters, and I'm fizzed up. I am fizzed up.
1:55Keyzie:I can't help but agree with you, Keezy. I just want to, and it sounds terrible to say, just get this out of the way, this show, so I can get home and get ready for the whas. Yeah, that's the spirit, man. You know what I'm saying, fellas? No, you're taking the piss, man. What do you mean?
2:11Mike Minogue:Off air, before the show, you said F the whas. We even have audio of it clipped off. We'll be playing that up next.
2:17Keyzie:That is an outrageous, outrageous statement from you, Christopher Key. Hey, Mogi, what's coming up on the show?
2:29Mike Minogue:Hang on, we didn't ask how Jase was. Well, there's nothing unusual there. What's happening on The Big Show with old Mogi? Another Friday, another throb of fellas. That'll be happening straight after five. How good. Yeah, man. Also, I had a dream about not one, not two, but three members of the Hauraki Big Show. We'll be getting into that later on as well. Hot. We'll also be discussing Keezy's parents. They're having a joint birthday, and we need to decide what we're going to get them. Well, it's more what I'm going to get them, because my dad's birthday is today and mum's in a few days' time. Right.
3:02Mike Minogue:So I'm going to get them a joint present. I just don't know what. Yeah, so we're going to help you out with that? Yeah, I don't want the present to be from us, though. It feels like it should be from all of us, since we're coming up with the idea. Like, you're nothing without the idea. Yeah, so our name should at least be on the card. Your name can go first since you're paying for it, but then it'll say Hoere Jizz, Old Mogey and Pugsang. I don't want the word jizz written on a birthday card to my parents if that's all good. Okay, well, I'll cross that idea. So instead of that, we'll be asking Hoere J how his day was.
3:31Great.
3:32Keyzie:In the meantime, here's Green Day.
3:35Mike Minogue:The Hauraki Big Show. Weekdays from four on Radio Hauraki.
3:39Keyzie:Liam Gallagher there on the Radio Hauraki Big Show. this Friday afternoon. Don't forget the old frown out shy day. If you've got a frown out, three, four, eight, three's the number.
3:48Mike Minogue:That's a shout out, by the way. Shout out Friday. Yes. Hey, quickly, fellas, just before we get into this next topic, just want to play some audio. How's it going? Up the was. Yeah, good thing. We've got to get through this. We've got to go get some sushi. F*** the was. Can you cut that off, Pug-san, about the piece of shit that Jace is? So there you go. Jace saying F the was before the show today. AI. That's not AI. No, AI sounds...
4:09Keyzie:That is an absolute stitch-up. You guys, man, you're shocking bastards.
4:16Mike Minogue:See, this is the issue we've got now, is any time someone says something like that off air, you can just say, hey, I. Yeah, it's not bad, is it? It's terrible. Can I just congratulate you there, Woody, Joe? Thank you. That is a magnificent defence. Thank you. Yeah. He's saying thank you because he knows he got away with it because it did actually happen. Yeah, yeah.
4:31Keyzie:No, thank you because it's the truth. Oh, yeah. Thank you.
4:34Mike Minogue:I always thank the truth. Hey, fellas, it's my dad's birthday today. Oh, Don. Big Don. Big Donza. It's my mum's birthday, I believe, on Wednesday next week. Come on, man. And their birthdays are very close together. And so I quite often try to get them a joint birthday present, but I suck at coming up with ideas. So if you guys could help me sort of brainstorm. Now, listen.
4:57Keyzie:Yeah. I've got an idea, and I think it's perfect. I don't like the look on your face. I want you to have an open mind. Yes. To keep an open mind, Kesey. Now, it's something that's in my house that is great for couples.
5:20Mike Minogue:No. No, I know what you're going to say. I'm not giving them your sex wing. Listen. Sex wing?
5:26Keyzie:Listen. That's what he's going to say. And you know my roof is very high. No. Kesey. This isn't about you.
5:37Mike Minogue:This is about Mon and Don. This also isn't an opportunity for you to offload your unwanted stuff.
5:42Keyzie:And just because they're older doesn't mean that they don't still share intimacy together. You have to get over that. Grow up, man. Come on, man. I mean, I am over it. Stopping ageist. It's perfectly normal. Now, it needs a bit of linseed, and some of the screws are a bit dodged, but Don would sort that in a jiffy. You'd probably replace them with rivets. Yeah. It's yours if you want it. So I give them. As new. As new. Because the thing about it is, you know, you've still got that adventurous spirit as you get older, Jase, but sometimes the body is not willing. And when you can take gravity out of the equation, as you do with a sex swing, and as you do with a sex swing.
6:29Yes. God, it can be invigorating. Reinvigorating.
6:34Keyzie:We were talking just yesterday, weren't we, Mogi, about our age and how we feel in our minds and our bodies are very different. Thank you. And I think this is an absolute gem of an idea. Imagine their eyes. Imagine their faces, Kesey, when they unwrap it. Oh, well, can I stop you there? I think the trick is you take them out for a nice lunch. Ah, okay. Yes. In fact, you send them out for a nice lunch and you pay the bill. You say, you guys have a few drinks, we'll come and pick you up. Bit of time to yourself. You race home, you install it in the front lounge there, pick it up, drop them off, say, we'll see you later and drive back to Auckland.
7:14Keyzie:How good. Hey, well, what you could also do is get one of the servants to do that. Roll them up for lunch with a staff.
7:23Mike Minogue:My parents don't have staff. It's a small lifestyle block. It's not a plantation. I really regret bringing this up as a content idea I'll tell you what, let's do it this way, I know there's going to be resistance just because of the elements it is weird to combine talking about gifts with your parents of the sexual nature let's run a big poll we'll run a big poll and if the people say that we should do it then that's a binding referendum so the big poll is going to be should Kesey buy his parents a sex one That's not something I want to be a part of. Absolutely not. Well, that's not accurate.
8:00Keyzie:You wouldn't be buying it. I'll be giving it to you for$200.
8:04Mike Minogue:You're going to give it to me for$200? I'd charge a lot more than that, Jase. Jeez. 3483 if you've got any better ideas. I suppose the good thing is. It's perfect. It's perfect, Keezy. One careful old man owner as well.
8:21Mike Minogue:The Horaki Big Show with Jase, Mike and Keezy. Tune in weekdays at 4 on Radio Hauraki.
8:27Keyzie:Foo Fighters there on the Radio Hauraki big show this Friday afternoon. The time is 4.24. We have one frown out.
8:34Mike Minogue:We've got plenty of frown outs coming in on 3483, which is a shout out, but this one here is bloody good. Frown out to Hoidi J for being a terrible New Zealander. Hashtag up the whas. Yeah. Thank you. Frown out, motherfucker. Yeah. Yeah.
8:48Keyzie:So this is the situation. Keezy's parents, Mon and Don, they have birthdays very close together. Don's today. Don's today.
8:56Mike Minogue:On Wednesday.
8:56Keyzie:So he's trying to think of a sort of a joint kind of present that he can do for the both of them. I offered my sex swing. Seems like, for some reason, he's not very keen on that idea.
9:07Mike Minogue:That's a great suggestion, Jase. I'd rather more of a brainstorm rather than taking on your old stuff. Slightly interesting what's happened here. This is exactly the same thing that happened with you, Jase, the other day when you came in the day of your wife's birthday and asked for some ideas. Keezy is coming on the day of his father's birthday and is playing it off like it's not a big deal, you've had a shocker as well, man.

9:25Keyzie:No, I haven't because... I remember the amount of jip he gave me about that. He really hoed in. He did. He laid into me. Did I? And this is a double whammy from his perspective. Is it? It's both his parents.
9:39Mike Minogue:Well, usually, Jase, I order something and it arrives at Dad's place either the day before and my mum will give it to him on the day or something. Sorry? But this year I was like... What? The present. Oh.
9:50Mike Minogue:This time I was like, why don't I get a bigger present for both of them? Right, okay. Well, what are their interests, Keezy? What are they like? Oh, well, Dad likes beers. Rugby union. Yeah. Crack bone, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Tinkering away in the shed. You're a crack up. They must have a sense of humour, do they? Thanks, man. Yeah, they do, actually. Very funny. What about some comedy T-shirts? They can both wear a T-shirt. They both say, I'm with stupid, and it points at each other. What if mum says, I'm with stupid, and then dad says FBI on it, female body inspector? Yeah. That'd be – no, I don't think that would go down well, actually.
10:32Have they not got a sense of humour?
10:34Mike Minogue:No, they do, but maybe that's probably a bit too advanced for them. Right, right, okay.
10:39Keyzie:Gotcha, gotcha, okay.
10:41Mike Minogue:What is mum into? Mum, you know, she likes rugby as well. Oh, there you go. Very outdoorsy, very active. They love mountain biking.
10:47Keyzie:She's very active. Why don't you get Kieran Reid to go around and do one of his keynote speeches?
10:55Mike Minogue:It's a former captain of the All Blacks to go to my parents' house and give a speech. Yeah, about leadership. He's very good. He is very good.
11:02Keyzie:No, I'm sure Kieran's great. They'd have to take the sex swing down out of the lounge.
11:06Mike Minogue:They're not taking the sex swing, Jase. Find somewhere else to offload your stuff, mate. Have you got any other ideas? because I'll just... I'll tell you what, the only thing that they really... Because the thing about Liz, and I can speak for myself here, I don't want anything at my age. I have not wanted a birthday present for 15 years or more because if you want it, you can pretty much get it and you don't really want for anything and they would be the same because they're significantly older than me, Keezy. The only thing that they're going to want and thankfully it's on the way is a grandchild.
11:39Yeah. What do you mean thankfully it's on the way? Baby number one. It's not on the way. I'm not... I keep buggering that up. It's not on the way.
11:47Keyzie:Well, it's not. I mean, maybe I could give you my sex wing. There we go.
11:55Mike Minogue:Two birds with one stone. Thank you, Moggy. Yes. I don't want to know what kind of offspring I would father if we did it in your sex wing, Jase. That is disgusting. An absolute backbath. The Hauraki Big Show with Jase, Mike and Kesey. Tune in weekdays at four.
12:13Keyzie:He's indeed Temple of the Dog there on the Radio Hauraki Big Show this Friday afternoon. The time, 4.36. Fellas, a bit of a weird one here, but I had a dream last night. Not just about one member of the Big Show, but about all of you. Wow. All of you were in the dream. What about Pugs? Was he in the dream? Pugs was in the dream. Ooh, it's Pugs. G'day, fellas. Happy Friday. And we were standing just out here, just in the office. It wasn't a huge dream by any stretch of the imagination, but it was very believable. I really felt like it was happening. And we're all standing in a circle out there.
12:53We've got a whiteboard just by a printer, a little kitchenette there, and we're all standing out there, standing there, in a quite close circle. And then Pugs, you, Pugs, hello, mate. Yeah, me, yeah. You started talking about your party that you're having tomorrow night. You've got your 30th birthday happening this weekend. Yes. And you started getting quite upset about the fact that you were worried that we weren't possibly going to be coming, the three of us, Keezy and Jason, myself. Anyway, as it went on and on, you got more and more upset and you eventually burst into tears. And this is without a word of a lie, this is what my dream was.
13:32Pugs was sobbing In the office at work Worried that we weren't going to turn up for his birthday party Wow Sobbing so much that I had to hug you Oh no To make you feel okay Oh thanks Mogey And I just want to say The office is probably not the place for you to be bursting into tears Matt
13:51Mike Minogue:Nah It's very unprofessional It's also for personal It's not even work related No Which is a bit Did I bring up my birthday? Or were you guys bringing up my birthday? No you brought You just brought it up Yeah, that's unprofessional. It's one of those things, man, where if you want to take us aside or maybe we go out off-site and talk about stuff like that, but that is not going to work.
14:13Keyzie:Can I just ask, in the dream there, Mogey, did I say at some point harden up or anything like that? You were fully professional. The only person that was unprofessional was Pugs.
14:23Mike Minogue:And it's weird too because we've made no sort of reference at all to us not going. In fact, we've all pretty much said we are going. So for him to just – it hasn't even happened yet, and he's bursting into tears. Well, I mean, I said I'm going. In the dream, obviously. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But your voice – I can handle it with a little bit of voice breaking or come on, fellas, or something like that. But sobbing, it was – I'll be honest with you, it was embarrassing.
14:48Keyzie:It is embarrassing. You didn't just let yourself down, Pugs, but you let all of us down? Can I just back you up on this, Mogey? It's not all about you, Pugs. I mean, we've got our own stuff going on. You know what I'm saying? and God knows I have. Do you find me breaking down and bawling my eyes out in the office? I don't think so. No. Because I'm a backbone.
15:09Mike Minogue:Yeah. No, I'm sorry. And also, Pugs, the other thing too, man, is because it was at work and it's like a professional environment, like, Mogi, you're well within your rights to talk to HR. But not like in a, like, hey, we need to sack this guy. No, no. Hey, we need to make sure there's something wrong with this guy. Yeah, yeah. That's right. You don't need to do that. I reckon you should do that. Well, it's just I'm concerned. I obviously am concerned because I care so much about you, Pugs. Thank you. That I think maybe the pressure of the show is getting to you. Anyway, long and the short of it is, man, you've got to sort it out.
15:39You've got to sort it out, yeah. Because the show comes first. Totally it does. Then Jay's comes second, I come third, Keezy comes fourth. Do I come fourth? And then Biodiki as a station comes in after that, and then you're sort of down, you know.
15:51Mike Minogue:Down on the, oh, yeah, yeah, down there. I'd say like the hits and coast and that probably come in after us. Yeah, they're doing really well. Yeah, they are. Actually, just on that, are you guys going to Pugs' birthday? When is it again? Oh. It depends. Are you going to burst into tears because you're so happy everyone's showing up? I'm getting there. The Hauraki Big Show. Weekdays from four on Radio Hauraki.
16:16Keyzie:Guns. Roses is there on the Radio Hauraki Big Show this Friday afternoon. The time is 4.46. Let's talk TV. 4.46 What's on the telly? With Mike Minogue Come on man Yeah! Yes I watched a comedy special stand up stand up comedy you've heard about that Keezy Yeah We've done a little bit of that actually haven't we? We've dabbled Robbie Hoffman is her name she's a lesbian lady one of her claims to fame is that there was a lady another lady who was on The Bachelorette, I guess it's called, and she had 25 men all vying for her affections. Robbie Hoffman, the female comic, is now with that woman. Oh, wow.
17:10Okay. She's very, very proud of that fact.
17:13Mike Minogue:Well, I suppose that's kind of cool, right? It's not bad. 25 hot dudes who think they're awesome. Exactly. Weren't good enough. Yeah, and she's taken that mantle. She's from Brooklyn. She comes from a very poor family. She's one of nine children. Very, very New Yorkish. Very, very affected style of delivery. Maybe a little bit much. But she is bloody funny, man. She's really, really good. I think she's going to be huge. This one's probably three buzzies out of a possible five, but there is some absolute gold in there. And I do recommend watching it. What was her name again? Robbie. Robbie Hoffman.
17:48It's on Netflix. Robbie Hoffman.
17:50Keyzie:How do you think you fellas would go in a sort of bachelor scenario if it was you and 25 women? I'll be honest with you, man, not good. I'd have to go with honesty all the way. And the tricky thing about that is that you're trying to win, but the woman might come out. And similarly the other way when there's 25 women and one man and you're like, oh, not really my type. But then you're trying to compete and win. I've got no game, so I'd just be honest. I think honesty is my game. See, that's the flaw.
18:17Mike Minogue:That's like when the honey badger was the bachelor. Right. You know Nick Cummins? Yes. He was on the Aussie one there, and it got to the end, and he literally didn't like any of the girls, so he decided to, he got right to the end, eliminated all the girls, and then Ian said, I'm not choosing either of you. Because he literally just didn't click with anyone. Yeah, totally. That's the way to do it. You guys were the two that I was most interested in. Yeah, but not enough. But certainly I'd rather be single. Yeah. Yeah. Then go out with either of you. Yeah.
18:42Keyzie:I switched the tally on last night after slipping into Miyagi's and was watching G.I. Jane. How good. G.I. Jane. She could do some one-armed press-ups, old Demi Moore, when she did that film. Viggo Mortensen as well. Yes, with the sweat pissing off her in slow-mo. It was good stuff. Couldn't tell you much about the story. You were watching it on mute, you were saying. Couldn't tell you really much about what went on. I was watching it on pause, you were saying. And look, I'll give it 4.8 buzzies Wow, really? Yes
19:20Mike Minogue:That's pretty good considering Last night, fellas What a bad movie it is Yeah My wife and I watched for the third night in a row Oh, is it a movie? Location, location, location But I'm not going to Hang on, you guys are banging on about Come Dine With Me all the time, right? This is the property equivalent
19:36Keyzie:I have never banged on about Come Dine With Me
19:39Mike Minogue:Mogi does And it's funny too because these two that present it, everyone talks about how everyone reckons they've had a fling. Like all the people that watch it, mostly older people. Is that the UK one you're talking about? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Such good presenters, man. They've got good chemistry. Amazing chemistry. Yeah, the chemistry is what? You can't buy chemistry. You can't. You can't. You can't. I wish you could.
20:02Keyzie:You can't. There was quite a lot of chemistry in G.I. Jane going on there.
20:08Mike Minogue:Bit of chemistry. I don't know if that was chemistry. It's more biology. But after that, I watched the rugby league that was on last night. Oh, yeah. Now we're talking. I am so stoked NRL is back. 10 p.m. on a Thursday. It's tough because if you've got to get up early for work, you can't watch it. However, it's on a Thursday night. You've only got one day of being tired, and you can watch rugby league on a Thursday night. I freaking love it. The Melbourne Storm smoked the Eels. The Eels season's over. They were beaten by over 50 points. Just like that. Game one, she's done. All done, yeah. That's no good.
20:38Keyzie:Damn, I missed that. What time was that on there, Keezy Indy?
20:42Mike Minogue:What do you mean, Keezy Indy? It doesn't even make sense.
20:45Keyzie:Can you stop saying I don't make sense?
20:47Mike Minogue:You don't. The Hauraki Big Show with Jace, Mike and Keezy. Tune in weekdays at four on Radio Hauraki.
20:55Keyzie:Tune. That's how you do it. The temper trap there on the Radio Hauraki Big Show. Friday afternoon, the time, 4.54.
21:03Mike Minogue:Fellas, this weekend at the Viaduct Events Centre, Jellicoe Harbour here in Auckland, The Auckland Boat Show is on. Yeah. You guys were down at the viaduct today. Yes, we were. How was it looking down there?
21:13Keyzie:It was going off, Casey. It was dumbing.
21:15Mike Minogue:That's so good. It's the 25th edition of the show. Over 30 boats available and ready to use in the sea there that you can actually go and test drive. Right. So if you're in the market for a boat, you can go down and actually take one for a hoon. Yeah, how good. 100%. If you are keen to head along, AucklandBoatShow.com for event tickets and all the details. You can also, while you're there, check out our Finchaser 535 Centre console we're giving away. It's sick, man.
21:40Keyzie:I tell you what, that boat is amazing. It certainly didn't let the team down. With all those other magnificent boats down there, our one was still a doozy. Oh, yeah, it was unreal.
21:50Mike Minogue:An absolute doozy. If you want to win that boat, you are running out of time. Text BOAT to 3483 and name it. Don't forget the Auckland Boat Show is the largest gathering of marine companies in New Zealand.
22:00Keyzie:It's great stuff, Kesey, and the viaduct. I love it down there. The people, you know, the vibrancy, the ocean. It's good stuff, fellas. I mean, I might spend a bit more time down there after wandering around today. I thought, you know what? It's the place to be. It's my kind of vibe, this place. Is it? Yeah. Hey, what's coming up after five, Jase? Oh, how about the throbber, Keezy? Throbber!
22:26Mike Minogue:The Hauraki Big Show with Jase, Mike and Keezy. Tune in weekdays at four on Radio Hauraki.
22:35Keyzie:It's the Hauraki Big Show's Friday Throbber. Yeah, it sure is. Doosh, doosh. Oh, Jase. You'll never... I have been remembering of late, Kees. No, you remember it once. Twice, actually. But anyway, what is the Friday Throbber, I hear you ask? Each of us here in the studio, we pick a song to kick off your Friday afternoon, heading into the weekend. then you give us a call on our 800-HAURAKI and tell us what song you want to choose first to two wins.
23:07Mike Minogue:That's right. We also keep score and then at the end of the year the person who has the most wins gets$1 ,000. Yeah, man. Yeah, how good. Well, I went first last week so you guys can go first. I can go first if you want. Yeah, man, sure. I was listening to some Aerosmith and I was like, Farah, this song's good. But then I was like, actually, this song's better.
23:31Keyzie:He just lets his emotions go.
23:40Mike Minogue:Bit of Eminem there, sampling Aerosmith. Quite like a bit of Eminem. Yes, so do I. He's very good. Some say he's quite good. Some say he's quite good. He's the man. Not bad. Jase, do you want to go next? Yeah, sure, man. You ain't need it for going in. You ain't need it for going in.
24:10Mike Minogue:Who's that? Bit of Tool. Tool, man. Oh, yeah. That's a bit of Tool, brother. Nice, man. She's a ripper. Now, this one here is for Pugson. It's for Pugson. It's his 30th. He's got a big weekend coming up, and I know he's going to tie one off. Can't remember the name of the song. Can't remember the guy who sang it. It's a brand new song. See what you reckon about this. I don't smoke.
24:32Keyzie:At least I'm drunk. But when I'm drunk, I'll smoke the whole pack. I'll smoke every single day. Yummy boys. All right. I want to drink from every boy. And every girl.
24:46Mike Minogue:Right. So Moggy's Choice is a song that he can't remember the name of by an artist he doesn't know. That's right. But I love the song. I only smoke when I drink. How good. And when I drink, I smoke the whole pack. Yeah, good stuff.
24:57Keyzie:That's Pug Son, man. That is good stuff. Well, you decide, New Zealand. Give us a call right now on 0800 Hodaki. In the meantime, here's the Arctic Monkeys.
25:08Mike Minogue:The Hodaki Big Show with Jase, Mike and Keezy. Tune in weekdays at four on Radio Hodaki.
25:16Keyzie:It's the Hodaki Big Show's Friday throbber. Douche douche. Look at that. Look how disappointed Keezy is that I was on time that time. That's right.
25:29Mike Minogue:He's fuming. You need a reminder every time, man. It's fine.
25:36Keyzie:So, as Pugs was pointing out to us, fellas, there's quite a good variety today. It is. It's kind of all over the shop. So I like that. Who started? Keezy, you started, and you went with this doozy. Suck the back. It broke his nose. His house is a broken hole. There's no control. He just lets his emotions go. Sing Easy Sing it Sing Eminem and Aerosmith there Yeah, good stuff I went for a bit of Tool Swamp Song
26:20That's a tune I've never heard that song That was a hell of a tune It's a good tune Bloody hell of a tune there And I went for Kenny Gray, I Don't Drink. It's going to be the biggest song in the world.
26:41Keyzie:Yummy Boys. Wow. What a variety to choose from. Let's go to the phone lines. G'day, Patrick, you mad bastard. How's life? G'day, lad. Good, good. Good, good, mate. Mate, what are you going with there, Patrick? Kenny Gray, mate. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, good stuff.
27:01Mike Minogue:That's a good stuff. She's a tune boy.
27:03Keyzie:Let's go to Amanda. G'day, Amanda. How's life?
27:07Mike Minogue:Oh, great, thanks, mate. How are you?
27:08Keyzie:Yeah, good, thanks, mate. What are you running with there, Amanda?
27:12Mike Minogue:I'm going with Koozie. Oh, get on you, Amanda. Koozie.
27:16Keyzie:Get on you, mate.
27:17Mike Minogue:You have a great day.
27:18Keyzie:Let's go to Dave from the Nacky. G'day, Dave, you mad bastard. How's life? Yeah, good, mate. How are you? Yeah, good, thanks, mate. What are you going with there, Dave? Oh, look, Keezy.
27:31Mike Minogue:Oh, Keezy. Dave. Bit of M &M. You have great taste, Dave. You have a great weekend, all right? Yeah, cheers. That's the Aerosmith he likes. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. But, I mean, I think it's nice mixed in with a bit of M &M there. Oh, yeah, man. Hey, don't forget, New Zealand, give us a text on 3483. What do you think of today's Friday Throbber winner? Yeah, who should have really won it? It is M &M. Sing for the moment. The Hauraki Big Show. Weekdays from four on Radio Hauraki.
27:59Keyzie:Eminem there on the Radio Hauraki Big Show this Friday afternoon. Your Friday throw up, fellas. Yeah, big win there.
28:07Mike Minogue:Eminem, sing for the moment. Bit of Aerosmith in there as well. It's a big win. Well, it's just a win, I guess. Yeah, it's a win, Keezy, but it's a great win. We haven't had Eminem on here for months. No, we haven't. Just going to go to the Throbber scoreboard now. Out in front on three wins, Keezy and Mogi tied in first place. Dominating. Bringing up the rear way back on two wins, Hoity J.
28:31Mike Minogue:And don't forget, the winner at the end of the year gets$1 ,000 from the loser, so it's pretty exciting. We asked people to text in and out with their thoughts, Jase, on the throbber this week. One here on 3483. Tool all the way. Just want to say, wrong. Wrong. Didn't get one vote. Also, you've got a call on 0800-HO-DUCK if you want to vote. But fellas, the next throbber we play will be Thursday next week. Yes. It'll be Thursday at the Richmond Club down in Christchurch, Critic Bar. We are doing a live show from there. The Richmond Club is a massive club down in Christchurch, and it has different areas.
29:04Mike Minogue:Critic Bar, specifically 4-7 Thursday next week. That's where it will be.
29:08Keyzie:It's going to be a humdinger, Kesey.
29:12Mike Minogue:It certainly is, Jase. And whenever we do a live show, we do a live throbber where the audience there has to vote. That's right. And usually there's a punishment.
29:20Keyzie:Yeah, and whoever loses, I understand, whoever loses has to drink at the Wild Food Festival some bull semen.
29:30Mike Minogue:No, that's not happening.
29:31Keyzie:Yeah.
29:31Mike Minogue:That's not happening.
29:32Keyzie:Apparently so.
29:34Mike Minogue:According to who, you've literally just decided that just then. We don't decide it. It's like you've got to have a punishment. This is because last year when we did the similar thing, the loser had to eat mountain oysters. Sheep testicles. Mountain oysters, they call them. Yeah, you ended up losing that one, Keezy. I've lost every single live show because the live audience likes to see me do this stuff. I don't know.
29:56Keyzie:I could choose the best song in the world. I don't think so, Keezy. 100%. I think sometimes in the live shows you feel the pressure a bit and you just choose absolute shitties. That is not true.
30:07Mike Minogue:I will pick an awesome song.
30:09Keyzie:Look, I'm prepared to put myself on the line. And if I lose and the audience are not into my song, I will drink some bull semen. All right? Well, yeah. That's the agreement, isn't it? It's any one of us. Any one of us could have to do that.
30:25Mike Minogue:I don't want to do it. I don't want to do it. Why would you not want to drink the milk of the bull?
30:34Keyzie:It's like, you know, you're into Game of Thrones. It's like milk of the poppy, except it's coming from bull balls.
30:41Mike Minogue:Milk of the poppy is like opium. This is completely different. Have you ever tried bull semen? No. Well, if I know you, Keezy, you will love it. What do you mean if I know you? Keezy! No, don't start it, Keezy! Keezy! Keezy! The Hauraki Big Show with Jase, Mike and Keezy. Tune in weekdays at four on Radio Hauraki.
31:07Keyzie:Smashing pumpkins here on the Radio Hauraki Big Show this Friday afternoon. Sorry, fellas, just a bit puffed.
31:15Mike Minogue:Fair enough, mate. Hey, fellas, this Sunday, the 8th of March, is International Women's Day. Yes! Commemorating women's fight for equality and liberation, along with the women's rights movement. Just wondering how you guys are planning on celebrating. I don't think it's appropriate to celebrate it. Right. It's patronising. Yeah. Right, okay. That's the one day of the year I step back. It's not about me. Wait, so you...
31:44Keyzie:I stand down completely. Yeah. Right on International Women's Day. Yeah. I've been known to say to my wife on that day, bloom, my love, bloom.
31:54Mike Minogue:What the hell does that mean?
31:55Keyzie:Just to feel her power, man.
31:59Mike Minogue:Right, okay. Be free. See, that sounds patronising. Yeah, but you would say that. Jase and I are, what would you say, Jase? I mean, we're allies, I guess you would say. Oh, really? But there's no point doing that. I don't think it's appropriate to be at the stand, stand in front and centre, be in your chair, saying, here I am, I'm a man, I support woman. I mean, try to drag the spotlight. That's not what it's all about. Yeah, it's not what I was trying to do. I tell you what, there's been a lot to celebrate this year. A lot of work put in, so yeah. Can I just clarify, that's not what I was trying to do.
32:32Mike Minogue:I was literally just asking if you guys were – I wasn't – It's kind of typical behaviour.
32:37Keyzie:Yeah, it's very classical sort of male upstaging women on their big day. It's one day, yeah, Keezy, do you think you can let it go, man? Just maybe let them have their day, Keezy. You know what I'm saying, man? I shouldn't have brought it up. No, bringing it up is fine. Right, okay, well, that's all I did. But bring it up to celebrate and elevate, okay? Don't bring it up for it to be all about you. I've got to find a better way, Jase, to communicate about it because I still get really fired up.
33:05Mike Minogue:Because you see it every day. It's just confusing. Surely you can understand how confusing. What's confusing about International Women's Day, Kees? Totally. I'm just confused because I thought I was just reminding everyone that it's happening this Sunday. Why would you need to remind people? I don't know. I'd be like, oh, reminder, it's Easter this week. I'd do the same thing for Easter. You know what I mean? So you're saying Easter is just as important as International Women's Day. This is what I'm talking about. Jeez. Let's just wrap it up. Easter is the... Come on, just... Shocking bastard.
33:38Mike Minogue:The Hauraki Big Show, weekdays from four on Radio Hauraki.
33:42Keyzie:Chemical Brothers here on the Radio Hauraki Big Show this Friday afternoon. The time is 5.38. Now, fellas, I just received a text from my wife that's sort of shaken me up a little bit, and if we could just... I just need your advice on this, and if we can just keep it between the three of us, That would be good. And the text is, can you send me Pugs' email for the photos? Sorry. What? Can you send me Pugs' email for the photos? Now, the other night when Pugs came around for dinner.
34:31Mike Minogue:Just him or when we all were there?
34:32Keyzie:No, I don't know if you guys noticed this. You were too busy ploughing into the cheese platter in there.
34:39Mike Minogue:Well, I did bring it myself, so I may as well.
34:43Keyzie:I don't know if you know. You were a bit late arriving, Mogey. You're the last to arrive. And at the time I was like, oh, you're just overreacting, you know, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. But when Pugs and my wife greeted each other, it was a very, very prolonged hug. Right. And there was a bit of kissing on cheeks. Might have even, I was like, that's a bit. That's a bit. You know what I mean? Yeah, right. I didn't notice because I was hoeing into the cheese board. Yeah, yes. You wouldn't have noticed it. But it's, can you send me his email for the photos? Interesting, asking you for it, eh? Yes.
35:22Keyzie:I would, yeah. I mean, if she was having an affair, there's two ways of looking at this. Would she ask you for his email so she could send Pugs her nudes? Or, because it sounds unlikely, or is it a double bluff? This is what I'm thinking, Moggy. Because she's smart. She's very smart. And we know that, oh, Pugsan. We know, eh?
35:46Mike Minogue:Oh, 100%. Yeah, yeah. I also know Pugsan too. He's got this thing where whenever he does ask for nudes, he always asks for them to be emailed so that he can have it in the highest quality possible. Yeah. Res. Resolution. The highest resolution.
36:01Keyzie:I mean, I'm sure it's nothing.
36:03Mike Minogue:Well, I wouldn't be sure. It's nothing to Pugs. It's just another day at the office for Pugs, yeah. Right. But I don't know if I would – like, I wouldn't just write it off as nothing if I was you.
36:13Keyzie:Well, it's just that I don't know whether to go and chat to him about – because you were talking about your dream that you had earlier, mate. He gets very emotional about that sort of stuff. Yeah. Especially when he's horny. Why don't you – Mmm. Mmm. This is a... Well, I'll speak to my wife about it tonight as discreetly as I can. I'd just leave it. Do you reckon? Well, on the bright side here, man, she's in very, very, very good hands. Very good hands. God, she's in good hands. Yeah.
36:44Mike Minogue:Which is a nice change. Oh, yeah. And change is as good as a holiday. So, yeah. Yeah, no, good. You know what I mean?
36:52Keyzie:Yeah, no, I'll leave it. Yeah. I'll leave it. But I won't. Wait, you're going to send her the email? It's good to contract out some of this work anyway.
37:00Mike Minogue:Okay, yeah, no. Actually, you know what? If you want, put me on there as well, and I'll just keep an eye on things. Yeah, just CC all at Hauraki. Yeah, CC everyone. Just so we can all keep an eye on it for you. Okay, the big show.
37:12Keyzie:Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay, yeah, cool. Send me the...
37:17Mike Minogue:I don't know. Nah, yeah. We could get Pugs in and just ask him on air. No, I don't want to. You're not worried. Yeah. The Hauraki Big Show. Weekdays from four on Radio Hauraki.
37:31Keyzie:Yes, indeed. Audio slave there on the radio. Hauraki Big Show this Friday afternoon. The time, 5.49. Ooh, it's Pugs.
37:44Hello.
37:45Mike Minogue:Hey, Pugs. It's your birthday this weekend, man. You're turning 30. Yeah. I'm excited. Pretty exciting. I understand your family are up for the weekend. Is that right? Yes. They literally just landed like maybe an hour or so ago. My dad lives in Hawke's Bay. Yep. And he's driven up and he's picked them up from the airport. Nice. Yeah, yeah. Which is lovely. So it's my sister, my mum and my niece. And your mum and your sister, they're in the hut. Am I right in saying that? Lower hut? Yeah, yeah. They're in lower hut. Yeah, nice. And what, is your old man just working away, is he? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
38:16Mike Minogue:Yeah, living in Hawke's Bay there. So they're separated? Oh, yeah. They have been since I was like three. Oh, right. Oh, right, okay. And what's the – so it's cool that they're all hanging out, though. Yeah. Oh, it's bloody good. It's bloody good. You know, him and Mum over the years, they've been friends. They've been not friends. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
38:35Keyzie:Coming together for their son, you know, for his 30th. Yeah, it must have been hard for you over those years, you know. I certainly know what that's like, pug son. Yeah.
38:44Mike Minogue:Yeah, yeah. That's tough, man. Well, yeah, because what are you doing tonight? You're going out for dinner, am I right? Yeah, yeah, yeah. We're trying this new Indian place we haven't been to before. Really excited. All of them? Yeah, yeah. Yeah, we're all gone. We're all gone. Wow. That's pretty amazing that they can still get along like that after all of these years. Yes. It's amazing. Yeah, yeah, yeah, absolutely. Yeah. And Phil, you know. Yeah, what's up? Well, I was just saying, I have never heard of this before where they've broken up, but they're mates, they're staying at the same hotel.
39:17Probably separate rooms. Dad's picking them up from the airport. They're hanging out. They're coming out for dinner. It's lovely. Yeah, it's really nice, eh? Sounds to me like the embers are still burning already, Jay.
39:26Keyzie:I was going to say, Maggie, it sounds to me like she's not all over. She's not all over just yet. Thanks very much, Jay. We're an extra time. I don't know about that. It feels to me like they haven't quite let go, actually. The thing about Liz, if they broke up, what's that, 27 years ago now, Pokes? It's a long time. Roughly, yeah, yeah. They're completely different people. Totally. They were young back then. They were impulsive. Maybe they weren't ready to settle down, but now times have changed, man. Why are we playing music? And I sort of feel like it could be on the cards. Imagine how different your life would be if you didn't come from a broken home.
40:04Mike Minogue:I, listen, it's a lovely thought. Absolutely. And I'd love that for both of them. Would you love it for you too? Oh, sure. It's not about that.
40:14Keyzie:Rather than a thought, would you like that to be your reality, Pugs? So we've got a present for you. We've got a present for you. What? Reckon you should call your mum and ask her if she'll get back together with your dad. Imagine that as your birthday present.
40:29Mike Minogue:It's a very sweet thought. I really don't. Technically, it's only an idea more than a present. Yeah. Saves us money, though. But an idea could be a good gift.
40:35Keyzie:And then you're not having to go to the Hawke's Bay, and then a separate trip to Wellington. It's a safety heat to God.
40:41Mike Minogue:And also because it's your birthday, they kind of have to do what you want. You've got leverage. Keep your happy. So you could Yeah it's not bad Because imagine that You're all sitting around the table You're like hey this could be us Yes I don't I truly don't think they would go Like you know There's a lot of water under the bridge
40:57Keyzie:They'll have to decide Whether to live in Hawke's Bay Or the hut You know I'd probably go Hawke's Bay In a little fun Love Hawke is all fellas Yeah I mean But imagine that You go home to wherever they are Mama Da da Yeah
41:08Mike Minogue:And they're together And there they are There they are There they are Happy and loving Front room I think it's a stretch to say the least, fellas. But you've got to try, Pugs. You've got to try. You've got to try. Don't give up on the dream, man. You won't know if you don't try. Let's try after six. I just want to clarify something. Are you throwing our present in our faces? Are you looking a gift horse in the mouth? All we're saying is just give it a go.
41:33Keyzie:Just try. I mean, what's the worst that can happen, Pugs?
41:37Mike Minogue:If you think there's a chance, obviously I'll give it a go. Okay, good. We'll do it after six. That's perfect, Pugs. Thank you. Thanks, man. And we'll record it.
41:45Keyzie:Oh, a bit of David Bowling. Yeah, sure.
41:50Mike Minogue:The Hauraki Big Show with Jace, Mike and Keezy. Tune in weekdays at four on Radio Hauraki.
41:56Keyzie:You're welcome back, you mess of backbones. Hope your Friday's absolutely going off. You're listening to The Big Show, by the way, brought to you by Toledo's.
42:06Mike Minogue:From work days to workouts, Toledo's keeps you balanced, refreshed and ready to go. You get it in, yeah.
42:12Keyzie:Hmm. Five buzies. Five, even.
42:15Mike Minogue:Five buzies out of five.
42:17Keyzie:Out of ten, Keezy. This is confusing. Five come dine with me stars out of ten. Okay, so five out of ten.
42:27Mike Minogue:I give it about a five out of ten as well. Okay. Two fives to ten. Yeah, true. I think we're still searching. Are we trying too hard to search? No, no. I've just got to say the first thing that comes into my mind. Right, okay. When you do that sick read. And then one day it'll be magic.
42:43Keyzie:Magic.
42:45Mike Minogue:That's it. Right there. Hey, fellas, what are you guys having for dinner tonight, man? I'm eating noodles. Yum. You've got to lay off the noodles, man. You'll blow out. I haven't had noodles for ages because my wife feels like the noodles that we like to get. It turns out only I like to get them. Oh, really? And she thinks that they're too oily. Yeah, okay. My wife doesn't like the noodles I like either. Yeah. And for those listening, we have a specific noodle store.
43:09Keyzie:Is it the noodles and dumplings she doesn't like, or is it something else?
43:14Mike Minogue:No, it's the oiliness too. Right. She doesn't like oily noodles and stuff as well.
43:18Keyzie:Oh, there you go. I just chapped. Like Pugsam, when he came over, gave me a very nice gift of chili oil. Just this very day today in my chicken soup. Got a teaspoon of the chili oil and just drizzled it on the soup there. Wow. Beautiful. I love an oily noodle. I love an oily dumpling. Right, well, I'll let my wife know. Can you let her know? I'll let her know, man. Yeah, yeah. That'll be good.
43:42Mike Minogue:What are you having for tea, Keezy? I'm going to sit down tonight at 8pm, crank up the TV with the whas on it, game one, and I'm going to eat a pizza and I'm going to have a beer. Look, I'm excited that I've got a mate coming over tonight, but I made the booking. Put it this way, I will not be watching the Warriors tonight. That sucks. Is there no way you can watch the Warriors? Nah. That's crazy. So I made a booking and it didn't occur to me until a couple of days later that the WARS are on. But I've already cancelled this, or delayed this before. Yeah, okay. So it has to, you know. And it will still be great, but the timing's poor.
44:20Yeah.
44:20Mike Minogue:Are you going to try to do the no-spoiler thing and watch it later? No, I'm not. Just going to find out. Yeah, yeah. Yeah.
44:26Keyzie:I'll just sneak off to the bathroom. We were meant to have another dinner party tonight, but I just said, and the WARS are playing. Because you love the WARS, eh, Jase? Totally, man.
44:34Mike Minogue:As proven by this. How's it going? Otherwise. Yeah, good, thanks. I've got to get through this. I've got to go get some sushi. F*** the waz. Did you hear that? Man, that's you before the show. You disgust me.
44:43Keyzie:Hey, hey, here's Radiohead.
44:47Mike Minogue:The Hauraki Big Show. Weekdays from four on Radio Hauraki.
44:51Keyzie:Jihad there on the Radio Hauraki Big Show this Friday evening. The time is 16 minutes past six o 'clock, and Pugsan's back with us. Ooh, it's Pugsan.
45:04Mike Minogue:What a pleasure it's been to be back in here, fellas. Yeah, man. Yeah, appreciate it. This is the third time today, I think. Yeah, yeah, yeah. The reason we got you in, Pugs, is because you're about to phone up your mother. It was beautiful, wasn't it? It is beautiful. You're about to ring your mum. Yes. Who's been separated from your dad for 27 years? 27, 28, yeah, around about. It was bloody beautiful. Came in in the 5 o 'clock there and sat down and just told us how much it would mean to you if your parents got back together. And so we're providing the platform for you to be able to do that.
45:34And good luck to you, man. I mean, you're setting yourself up for a fall, but you've got a dream, brother. You've got a dream. It was very, very sweet, I thought.
45:45Keyzie:It was very sweet. I mean, I'm feeling a little bit emotional about it. Dreams are free. Yeah, yeah, totally. Dream on. Can I just say, can't do it without,
45:54Mike Minogue:wouldn't be able to do it without your support. Yeah, man. Because you were very supportive. Yeah, man. Yeah, we're very, very, very supportive. Also, so obviously your mum and your dad are separated. You're going to call your mum, ask her to get back together with your dad as a birthday present for you because it's your 30th this weekend. That's sort of where we got to in the last one, yeah. Does your dad have a partner? At the moment? Yeah. Yes. Okay, so maybe after this. Partners come and partners go. Exactly. Ex-wives, mother of your kids. But maybe after this we get pugs to call the partner of the dad and break up with her.
46:28Mike Minogue:Well, let's just see how this goes. Yeah, we'll start with this. We'll start with this. So are you ready to go, man? As ready as I'll ever be, I suppose. Well, I've got the number. I'm putting it in. Good luck, pugs.
46:41Mike Minogue:Hello? Hi, Mum. Hi. It's me. It's your son. How are you? Great. How are you? I'm good, thank you. Did you guys obviously get in okay on your flight and stuff? We did. Yeah, nice. You're with Dad? Dad, Soph and Sad. Oh, lovely. Lovely. I'm excited. I'm excited to spend some time with you guys. And I've been thinking about, you know, it would mean a lot to me, I think, just, you know, turning 30 and stuff, if for my birthday, would you consider getting back together with Dad?
47:29Sorry?
47:32Mike Minogue:Oh, James, you are so funny. What do you mean? We are sleeping in the same room at the moment. Are you? No, we are not. Sophie switched out with me. Oh. But sorry to crush your drink. You've got time, I guess. You're here for the weekend. Who knows? A bit of family time. Us all together. celebrating my birthday could reignite the spark. A few cocktails. Yeah. Yep. Okay, well think it over and I'll catch up with you for dinner. Maybe you can let me know if you changed your mind. You are funny. I'm excited to see you. Okay. Love you. Love you too. Bye. See you. Bye. Absolutely butchered it. You did butcher that.
48:21Mike Minogue:What? It's your fault that I separated now. The Hauraki Big Show with Jase, Mike and Keezy. Tune in weekdays at four on Radio Hauraki.
48:30Keyzie:Yes, indeed, Lenny Kravitz there on the Radio Hauraki Big Show this Friday evening. A bit of sporting action coming up over the weekend. With that in mind, we've got the head of the ACC, G Lane, in with us. G'day, Lane. How's life? Good to be here. Yeah, we've got the Chiefs, Mana versus Moana Pacifica coming up at seven o 'clock tonight. Oh, how good. How good. Yeah, yeah. Look, we didn't call the Moana game last Friday because we couldn't be asked. Yeah, no, good call. That's out of it, eh? Do you have contractual obligations to anyone when it comes to that? Nah. Good shit. Nah, it's a vibe thing.
49:02Keyzie:That's good, I reckon. It's a vibe thing. You looked at it and you went, who's going to listen to the Force versus Moana? Not many, if any. So Dave Rini. Go home. Yeah, fair enough.
49:12Mike Minogue:So Moana Pacifica taking on the Chiefs. 7pm tonight, that's going to be broadcast live. Right here. And free, right here on Radio Hodaki. iHeart Radio as well. It's you and James McHoney. What's your prediction for that one? Well, Chiefs are paying$1.01 at the TAB,
49:26Keyzie:so not a lot of love going in for Moana. They're in the Tron, so I think the Chiefs are pretty – D-Max is back as well. He's back from breastfeeding his baby after a two-week break, so that's a big addition for the Chiefs. It is.
49:40Mike Minogue:Saturday night, Blues, Crusaders, huge matchup there. You've got Matt Ward and Mashie commentating on Hodaki as well, 7 p.m. Is this match of the round?
49:47Keyzie:I'd say so. Yeah, you've got the Crusaders bouncing back after it went over the Chiefs Munna and the Blues coming off a loss as well. But they're at home as well. Yeah. Interesting, interesting. Bodhi Barrett's back as well. Your favourite player, Jason Hoyt. Yeah, love a bit of Bodhi action for sure.
50:03Mike Minogue:Yeah. Now, an interesting thing, G-Lay, now that we've squared off the Rugby Union chat, you're a few hours away from jumping on a plane. Where are you going and when?
50:13Keyzie:I may or may not be headed to Ahmedabad I called it Ahmedabad for too long It's Ahmedabad Is it really? It's Ahmedabad Oh okay Yeah I've got a security guard here Gunjan Oh did he? I said I'm going to Ahmedabad And he goes Where? I said where the final is He goes On the South Island And he goes Ahmedabad And I was like Yeah There That's where I'm going Oh that's good to know It's pretty huge isn't it I mean it's a T20 World Cup final New Zealand towed up South Africa to get in there. Last night, one of the highest scoring games of all time with India getting 250-odd. They can't do that again. England just failing to quite get there.
50:51But the chat about you, Grim Lane, is that you are the curse. Yes. How do you feel about that? How do people feel about the fact that you're going? Because I listen to the Agenda podcast each day and there's a lot of voice chats coming in just pleading with you not to go.
51:05Keyzie:It needs to be broken at some stage. It's something that needs to be broken. And the reason I am going, we'll beat India in India and win the T20 World Cup. And this can all go away. This whole grim lane thing can go away. It's made up by you guys. It's made up by everyone in Sundry who have got some sort of vendetta. My concern is that what will be broken will be the spirit of New Zealand supporters because you've gone over there and butchered it again. Because it's like a gambler, isn't it, Maggie? when you're on the Queen of the Nile there and you're losing all that money and you're going to have to feature again.
51:43Keyzie:Yes, at some point this is going to pay out, but it never does. That's right. I mean, if there's ever going to be a time where you're going to, it's as hard as it possibly can be to break the curse when you're going to India to play India. Yeah. You know, it's a hard enough game to win as it is without you sitting in the stands. Would be some people's feeling. Now, having said all that, I think it's fantastic that you're going. I think if you stay here, the only thing worse than you going and they lose would be if you stay here and they win. Correct. You would hate yourself. I would. You've got to go, man.
52:23Go into a deep depression.
52:23Keyzie:But if he stays here, they will win. And if he goes, they'll lose. They will not. India will not back up that performance. That was their performance of the World Cup that happened this morning.
52:35Mike Minogue:I have a question for you as well, G-Lane. The ACC has discovered a penchant for riling up Indian fans. Oh, yeah. Are you worried for your safety over there? No, not really. Not really. I'll see how I go. Because you'll get steamed and start yelling abuse. Well, the interesting thing is here, where we're going is a dry state.
52:54Keyzie:Yeah. Where you're at. Dry state. So you're going to have to preload massively. So I'm going to have to shelve a whole 1.5 of Jim Beam and go through customs. Yeah. responsibly.
53:06Mike Minogue:G Lane's going to be coming and sopping wet to that dry state. Well, good luck for the trip, man. I reckon it's awesome you're going over there as well.
53:12Keyzie:No, stay tuned on the ACC socials as well. I'm going to attempt to kind of diarise the whole trip. I'm not really a big man on social media. You're taking Joe Giroux, were you? No, so I'm doing it myself. So it's going to be old man social. Yeah, good. 40 J. Yeah, it's going to be 40 J styles. Yeah, nice. I'm going to be hitting the camera waiting for it to change. You know how the influencers do?
53:34Mike Minogue:Yeah, nice. Well, have fun with that, G Lane. And don't forget, 7 p.m. tonight, Moana Pacific, are taking on the Chiefs here on Hauraki. The Hauraki Big Show, weekdays from four on Radio Hauraki.
53:44Keyzie:Pixies there on the Radio Hauraki Big Show this Friday night as we draw closer and closer to the end of the week, fellas.
53:52Mike Minogue:Hey, fellas, we're also drawing closer to the end of our name, our boat competition. It is your chance to win a brand-new Finchaser 535 Centre Console boat. It's got a Mercury 60-horse four-stroke. It's got a Voyager trailer and a whole lot of goodies. The whole package worth over$75 ,000.
54:08Keyzie:Wow, how good.
54:09Mike Minogue:Text BOAT to 3483. Just the word BOAT, nothing else. We'll send you back a link, put your details in, and the name of the boat, because whatever name you choose, that is what will be written on the side of that boat if you win it. We've got a fresh batch of the latest names and fellers. Let me know what you think of these bad boys.
54:29Mike Minogue:Prawnstar. Yeah. Yeah, not bad. Okay. Only Fins. Not bad. Pretty good. Yeah.
54:37Keyzie:What? No good.
54:38Mike Minogue:The Marlin. The who? The Marlin. No. No. Just The Marlin. No. Okay. Wasted Semen. Because they're going to be drunk. That's good. That's actually quite clever. That's pretty good. Yeah. Yeah. That's my favorite one for months. Okay. Sir Chum-a-lot. As opposed to... I don't know. Cam-a-lot? What is that? Chum-a-lot. Don't like it? No. Jase, how do you feel about that one, man? I don't mind it. But what does it mean?
55:05Keyzie:Chum is like burly. No, I know that. Yeah, but what does chum a lot? I think it's not. It's sir. What?
55:15Mike Minogue:What? Rhymes with chum? Yes. Without an H in it? A lot. Right, okay. I get it. Rock the boat? No. Okay. Fired fin? No. What does that mean? I don't know. Titanic part two? mildly amusing but even if you owned the boat you'd be over that by probably the second by the time you got out of it the first time it's like calling it unsinkable too which is a classic birth control B-E-R-T-H birth control nice
55:47Keyzie:okay even better
55:51Mike Minogue:dirty little oars
55:56Mike Minogue:Mac attack let's go baby let's go No. Okay. Snapper Clapper. No. The Bilge Rat. No. Codpiece. No. I like Codpiece. Chasing Dreams. Oh, good God.
56:16Keyzie:God, daring me.
56:18Mike Minogue:What about this one, fellas? The Chum Dumpster. That is shocking. Text BOAT to 3483. Winner, winner, chicken. The Hauraki Big Show. Weekdays from four on Radio Hauraki.
56:35Keyzie:Yes, indeed. Muse there on the Radio Hauraki Big Show this Friday evening. Now a bit of sporting action over the weekend. With that in mind, we've got the head of the ACC, G Lane, in the studio with us. How's life, Lane? Good to be here. Yeah, we've got the Chiefs Mana versus Moana Pacifica coming up at 7 o 'clock tonight. Oh, how good. How good. Yeah, yeah. Look, we didn't call the Moana game last Friday because we couldn't be asked. Yeah, no, good call. That's out of a name. Do you have contractual obligations to anyone when it comes to that? Nah. 57:09Keyzie:It's a vibe thing. You looked at it and you went, who's going to listen to the Force versus Moana? Not many. Not many. So Dave Rini. Go home. Yeah, fair enough.
57:18Mike Minogue:So Moana Pacifica taking on the Chiefs. 7pm tonight. That's going to be broadcast live. Right here. And free right here on Radio Hoduck. Man. iHeart Radio as well. It's you and James McHoney. What's your prediction for that one? Well, Chiefs are paying$1.01 at the TAB,

58:09Mike Minogue:Yep. Now, an interesting thing, G-Lay, now that we've squared off the Rugby Union chat. Yeah. You're a few hours away from jumping on a plane. Where are you going and when?
58:20Keyzie:I may or may not be headed to Ahmedabad I called it Ahmedabad for too long It's Ahmedabad Is it really? It's Ahmedabad Oh, okay Yeah, I've got a security guard here Gunjan Oh, did he? 1:00:30Keyzie:But if he stays here, they will win. And if he goes, they'll lose. They will not. India will not back up that performance. That was their performance of the World Cup that happened this morning.
1:00:41Mike Minogue:I have a question for you as well, G-Lane. The ACC has discovered a penchant for riling up Indian fans. Oh, yeah. Are you worried for your safety over there? No, not really.
1:00:52Keyzie:Not really.

1:01:55Keyzie:Well, there you go, you mad bastards. That's the big show done and dusted for you Friday and for the week. The podcast outro clip today. Keezy was in a whore of a mood, but I don't know what the clip was.
1:02:09Mike Minogue:Mogi was running a sort of multi-stream media conglomeration. This is a clip of him doing a live stream whilst we're doing a podcast. We had 130 viewers, but it's gone down to 80. People have had enough. Yeah. So not the ratings. Bonanza.
1:02:29Keyzie:Should I undo a few buttons again? Yeah, go on. Has it gone up? Like a hundred? It's gone down.
1:02:37Mike Minogue:Mine has too. What are you talking about? Hey! Hey!
1:02:45Keyzie:So some spicy noodles and dumplings for you tonight, Moggy. That's right. Hanging out with your mate, then Betty Bies. Then Betty Bies, yeah, I'm buggered, man. I'm ready to fit bed now. Keezy, pizza, you're going to pound the beers, watch the whas, and then your wife's going to come home. Then you're going to do a bit of gaming action. She's going to go to bed. And you'll be... Then you'll stagger into bed probably about midnight.
1:03:12Mike Minogue:Close. I'm going to then watch the second game of NRL. Oh, Buck for Lou. Which is the Panthers, who have won a billion times recently, up against last year's finalists, the Broncos. So it's the best matchup of the entire round of the entire season is directly after the Warriors game. Fizzed up, big night, looking forward to it, doing it solo. Yeah, good stuff, mate.
1:03:33Keyzie:What are you doing tonight? I'm way, I'm waas all the way. I'm way all the waas, man.
1:03:38Mike Minogue:Yeah, man. I love it.
1:03:40Keyzie:All the way. Now, listen. What's that?
1:03:43Mike Minogue:Who are they playing? Who? The Warriors. Who are they playing tonight? Come on, Jase. You got this, man. The Dragons?
1:03:50Keyzie:Nope.
1:03:52Mike Minogue:The Roosters.
1:03:53Keyzie:Oh, the Roosters. Damn it. Hey, now, New Zealand, listen, please. Serious message. Yeah, come on. Check out the Instagram. Check out the podcasts. And then check us out on Monday afternoon. Yeah, and while you're away there over the weekend and you're away from us here and you've got a bit of downtime, go and treat yourself to a Toledo's, would you? Yeah, good idea.
1:04:15Mike Minogue:100%. And also on the weekend there, at the weekend, Sunday, spare a thought for old PugSan is turning 30. Happy birthday. Be sure to send him a message on Instagram there. Yeah, happy birthday, PugSan. We'll see you Monday. Bye.
