0:13Keyzie:With Jason Hoyte, Mike Minogue and Keyzie. Oh, g'day you mad bastards. Great to have your company on this glorious Thursday afternoon. It is the 29th of January, 2026 and you my friends, as always, listening to The Big Show, brought to you by Reburger.
0:29Mike Minogue:Graveworthy street food freshly made with Reburger.
0:37G'day, Mogey, you stallion. How's life? Going pretty grousy, you mad dog, you sick son of a bee. Bloody good to be alive, isn't it, fellas? It really is. Summer's back, baby. It is. It's been a couple of weeks here, but we're back. It's Blue Bird here in Auckland, 25 degrees. I know how people out there love to hear about it. Pretty bloody stoked, to be honest with you. Pretty bloody stoked. Very stoked. How are you going, Keezy?
1:00Mike Minogue:I'm happy as Larry as well, Jase. Yeah, good. It is a lovely day here in Auckland. I hope it's the same wherever you are listening. I'd just like to give an update on that. We're just going to pull one out of the hat today. It's hukatika. Hukatika. Mostly cloudy with showers and westerlies. High of 20, low of 13.
1:15Keyzie:Yeah. It's a shithouse, as people. Yeah, that's not great.
1:19Mike Minogue:Can I make an observation, Keezy? You do every single show at about 4.03, so why not?
1:25Keyzie:I get the feeling, and you can correct me if I'm wrong here, that you're beginning to copy old Hoity J's fashion style.
1:35Mike Minogue:Yeah.
1:35Keyzie:You know, the sort of collared shirts, smoking the short-sleeved collared shirts. Guilty. They're quite wacky. They're quite sort of old man-ish. Very AKA sort of Hoity J.
1:47Mike Minogue:You just call yourself old man-ish. I'm guilty, Jase. I'm copying your style. I love it. In fact, I spent most of last night Googling where do I buy turkey shirts because you're wearing one today. Yes. And I'm very jealous. Can I try that one on?
2:01Keyzie:Yeah, sure, man. We'll have a swap during the show. How does that sound? Sounds great, man. Speaking of the show, what's coming up, Mogey?
2:11What's happening on The Big Show with old Mogey? The massive rock and roll interviews continue. We've got Joel from LAB joining us later on. Also, I've got a bone to pick, fellas. Oh. I bought somebody a very, very special Christmas present and they've thrown it in my face. Disgraceful. It's a bone to pick and we'll be talking about that later on. Coming up next, fellas. Coming up next. Oh, Keezy's noticed that Hoity Jizz, the man of a thousand faces, has got yet another doppelganger out there.
2:42Mike Minogue:And this one is the most accurate yet. 100%. Yeah, what either? It's Green Day. The Hauraki Big Show. Weekdays from four on Radio Hauraki.
2:52Keyzie:The Verve there on the radio. Hauraki, big show this Thursday afternoon. The time is 4.16, which means it's time for... The Big Pole.
3:08Mike Minogue:Now, just before we get into the Big Pole, fellas, I said it sounded like it was a terrible day on the hooker ticker. Matt has texted in from the hooker ticker saying it's actually sunny and very warm down there. Oh, really?
3:16Keyzie:And nice and dry, yeah. Yeah, nice. Good crayfish there, eh, fellas?
3:20Mike Minogue:Totally.
3:23Mike Minogue:I wanted the big poll today because I had a startling revelation the other night. I then sent it to Pugs and he laughed, reacted for quite a while and then agreed with me. The revelation is that Hoity J looks like a certain person from film and television.
3:42Keyzie:Yeah. God, I've been told that about a million times.
3:46Mike Minogue:And we've had our share of sort of doppelgangers over the years. you know for example Hoggle from Labyrinth which was one of the little what are they called? Little goblin things. I don't know. Goblin? I don't know. Whatever the little weird things that were hanging out with David Bowie one of them Ewok an Ewok looks just like Jase. We've also had other ones too apparently Mogey looks like Michael Fassbender which I don't
4:12Keyzie:and Brad Pitt
4:13Mike Minogue:and Brad Pitt which I don't really see.
4:14Keyzie:And Bert from Sesame Street.
4:16Mike Minogue:Totally. And we've all got doppelgangers But this one, I think, is the most accurate we've ever had. Now, I want everyone listening, if it is safe to do so, to get out their phone, open your internet browser and type in Parker from Thunderbirds.
4:43Mike Minogue:Parker from Thunderbirds, who was Lady Penelope's driver. Chauffeur. And Butler. So accurate. Yeah. Wouldn't you agree, Mo? When I saw it, I was shocked. Yeah, I mean, there's something about it. Obviously, it's him in puppet form. Yeah, well, that's right. It doesn't look exactly like Jase, but there is an absolute similarity. It's undeniable. Yeah, it's amazing. It is. It's amazing. Like the structure of the face, like the size of the, what's it called, the eyes. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And the honker as well, obviously. It just looks so similar to you, Jase. I cannot believe it.
5:22Keyzie:Yeah. Fellas, I've got a bone to pick.
5:24Mike Minogue:Oh, okay.
5:28Keyzie:I've been compared to many, many, many things in my time because I have an everyman face. Oh. I was once told that, that I have an everyman face. I was told I had an equine face. Yeah. I was also told I had a face that was well lived in. whatever that means. I mean, I don't know what that means. And, you know, I'll take these comparisons on the chin. Yeah. Because the ACC is guilty of this as well, comparing me to a lot of other people. But I draw the line at Parker from Thunderbirds. Right. There is not one iota, not a skerrick of similarity between Hoity J and Parker from Thunderbirds. Not one tiny feature.
6:18I think the easiest way to solve it is the big poll. The big poll, yeah. You know, does Jase look like Parker from Thunderbirds, yes or no?
6:25Mike Minogue:I was going to say yes or yes, but sure, yes or no, because it's just so accurate. And then we'll know. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You can also give your feedback, 3483. Once again, get your phone out, type in Parker from Thunderbirds and just be gobsmacked by the fact that you're not looking at a photo of Hootie J. Now, a slightly older version of Hootie J, I'll give you that. Oh, totally. Not you now, Jase. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And also, I don't know why you're all up in arms. He is a heroic character. He saves the day on Thunderbirds so many times.
6:51Keyzie:He's a puppet chauffeur, Keezy.
6:56Mike Minogue:Head to the Hauraki Big Show Instagram story. You can vote there. Does Hauraki Jay look like Parker from Thunderbirds? The other thing that seals it is his nickname is Nosy. His nickname is Nosy without a word of a line. Nosy Parker.
7:09Keyzie:Here's the offspring.
7:12Mike Minogue:The Hauraki Big Show with Jace, Mike and Keezy. Tune in weekdays at 4 on Radio Hodaki.
7:19Keyzie:Jihad there on the Radio Hodaki. Big show this Thursday afternoon, the time being 26 minutes past 4 o 'clock.
7:25Mike Minogue:If you've just joined us, get your phone out and go to the Internet Explorer there or whatever you're running. Internet Explorer. Or Google Chrome or whatever the hell you've got and type in Parker from Thunderbirds because that, we've just realised, is exactly what Hoi DJ looks like. We're also running a poll up on the Horeki Instagram where you can actually vote on this. Yes. It's a binding referendum. It is.
7:52Keyzie:So if they say, yes, I am Parker from Thunderbirds. No, you're saying that you don't look like him, but if they say that you do, then you do. Then you 100 % do. There is not the slightest resemblance. If there's a 51 % poll result where they say you do, then you 100 % do look like him.
8:08Mike Minogue:Yeah, and the text, I mean, they're just backing it up really. Huge yes. 100 % from Malcolm. Oh, my God, yes, Parker, so, so accurate. Come on, man. That's from your wife. John says, Parker, yes, looks exactly the same. Dave says, Parker, yep, especially the legs and the way he walks.
8:29Mike Minogue:That's him for sure in a couple of years. And there's one here, though, that does say, sorry, those bulges scream a no. Yeah, thank you. They do. But that's one. That's one thing. The rest of the puppet very much hoity J. The crazy thing is, too, we just looked up some old footage of Thunderbirds, Jase, and you even sound like him. Check this out. Indeed, m 'lady. A veritable treasure trove.
Read the full transcript
8:52Keyzie:Shall I turn off the set, m 'lady? Come on, man! Man, he's got the same dulcet tones as old hoody Jay. Actually, you've just thrown out to me, Mogi. Yeah. I would argue, I would argue, Mogi looks more like Parker than me. Nice try. I would argue Mogi looks more like Parker than Haughty J. You can argue it all you like, unfortunately. The die has been cast. Oh, come on. Can I just hear him say m 'lady again? M 'lady.
9:28Mike Minogue:Can you say it now, Jase? M 'lady. It is official. have your say up at the Hauraki Big Show Instagram just looking at the poll now Jase we've only just put the poll up it's been up for less than 10 minutes it's already at 97 % yes The Hauraki Big Show with Jase, Mike and Kesey tune in weekdays at 4 on Radio Hauraki
9:53Keyzie:thank you thank you very much thank you Nirvana there on the Radio Hauraki Big Show this Thursday afternoon 36 past 4 o 'clock
10:02Mike Minogue:fellas There's a brand new summer festival happening up in Auckland. It is happening the 21st of Feb, which is a Saturday, and it's going to be happening at the iconic Manuka Doctor Arena where the tennis was held over summer. Yes. It is called Centre Court Sounds, and we've got the opportunity for you and three mates to head along to that, along with the Hauraki team. If you are keen to see a whole lot of great bands, including No Cigar, Bag Raiders, Sachi, and there's going to be more added as well, text the word SOUNS to 3483, and once again, that could be you and three mates.
10:30Keyzie:I am actually pretty keen on that, actually, Keezy. could you log me in for that? Log you in? Yeah, just log me in. Just tell the relevant authorities.
10:38Mike Minogue:You want me to call the police and log you into that festival? Who's been logged in.
10:41Keyzie:That I'm going to come along. Now, fellas, I've got a bit of a little favour to ask of you, if you don't mind. I'm going to be moving in a couple of days. My wife and I have realised to our absolute horror that we don't have a lot of space. My girls, who you know, three of them are overseas now. They've left all their shit with us. And I know that you guys all have your own space. you, Mogey and Keezy and Pugs, and I'm thinking if we can just sort of break it up between the three of you, that I might be able to store some stuff at your place for a little while. Right. What kind of stuff are we talking about?
11:15Keyzie:Well, because you guys know me so well, I'm comfortable about talking about this on air. We've got a sex toy box.
11:23Mike Minogue:I don't want your dillies at my house.
11:25Keyzie:And I don't. You're going to need those. Yeah, we will need those, but I don't want the movers to see our sex toys. Why? So could I keep those at your place for a little while, Casey? It feels like you could just put them in the back of your car. Couldn't you just? It just feels like you'd be mad. It's like not moving the cutlery.
11:40Mike Minogue:They wouldn't fit. Yeah, you're right. I mean, I'm talking boxes. Right. Mogi. No, you can't install those at my house.
11:48Keyzie:Well, just anything. I mean, we've got a few old phones. You know, just miscellaneous stuff that was sitting in the cupboards that we don't know what to do with it. There's no storage where we're going. And I thought, well, maybe the fellas can help me out because I don't want to go to the expense of hiring storage when I've got three buddies, three backbones as mates. And I'm sure, like even in your garage, Keezy, we could put some stuff there. Keezy's got a lot of space out there, man. Yeah, actually. I haven't got a garage at my house, which is a real, God, it's a nuisance. But in this case, God, it's worked out well.
12:21But Keezy has got so much space.
12:24Keyzie:Actually, you do bang on about your garage a lot, Keezy. Would you mind if I, because my lawnmower, Don't need it. My weed eater. Don't need it. Why don't you sell them? My hoe. Don't need it. All of my gardening tools. Things like that. I mean, I've got no place for them in my new place. Okay, here's the deal. Can I put them over at yours, Keezy? First of all, why are you keeping that stuff? Well, because I've still got to maintain the property.
12:47Mike Minogue:Why don't you put it at the property in the garden shed or something?
12:50Keyzie:Oh, because the new people are like, nah, I don't want to borrow that. We want our own space. And I was like, oh, okay.
12:56Mike Minogue:Okay, I will look after. Thanks, man. No. I will look after a small amount of stuff. For example, if you gather up all your comedy shirts and put them in a box, I will look after that. Because I think it'd be quite funny when my friends come around and be like, check out. You can dress up like Parker from Thunderbirds. Come on, Mogey. Although I don't really fit them. They'll probably be more like a puppet show.
13:19Keyzie:Well, I was thinking, for example, with a box of sex toys, Pugs seems like the obvious choice there. But I don't mind getting mixed up with his. Yeah. You know what I mean? And, you know, being in the throes of passion and going, hang about, what the hell's this thing? You almost need to keep those in a deep freeze because they'll be reeking.
13:41Absolutely honking.
13:43Mike Minogue:Tom Petty. The Hauraki Big Show. Weekdays from four on Radio Hauraki.
13:49Keyzie:Yes, indeed. Jet there on the Radio Hauraki Big Show this Thursday afternoon. The time, 4.47.
13:55Mike Minogue:Just before we get to TV chat, fellas, Someone has texted here a good point. Ari Hoidi J Moving House. You're moving to an apartment. Yes. Do you get a car park? Yes. Okay, cool. So you'll be able to park Lady Penelope's giant pink limo there?
14:11Mike Minogue:Because he looks like Parker from Thunderbirds if you've just joined us. Anyway, here's TV chat. What's on the telly with Mike Minogue?
14:22Yes. Fellas, I watched last night the last episodes of the Long Way Home series, which is Ewan McGregor and Tim and his mate Charlie Borman. His father was John Borman, Jase, who directed Deliverance. Right, yes. He's still alive, 92 years old. Jeez. Looks awful. God, he doesn't look good, Keese, I'll tell you what.
14:45Mike Minogue:Actually, Deliverance. You know who Jase looks like? Come on, man. I'm just joking. and this one so they've done a bunch of these series and it's where him and his mate Charlie go around the world on motorbikes they did the long way around in 2004 which is where they went from London to New York they went east via Europe, Asia and Alaska bit of a long ride then the long way down in 2007 they went from Scotland to Cape Town a lot of Africa and that one there, Kesey they did the long way up in 2020 which was from Argentina to Los Angeles that was on electric Harleys then this one they've gone from the UK and sort of up through Norway and Switzerland and all sorts down through France and back home again it's just them on motorbikes sort of visiting local people they have little events that they go to that have been teed up by production whatever it is other motorbike shops little tourism things that they do pure pure joy it is a great show it really it just really well made it makes you go god people are awesome you get all this other bad news that comes through and you're like, oh, people suck.
15:52But then when you actually see just normal everyday people, people rule. It made me so happy. It's such a great show. It is five buzzies all the way. I just absolutely love it. It's on Apple TV. I've finished it now. I'm now going to go back to the start and watch Long Way Round from 2004 and work my way back through it. Keezy will love it. Your missus will love it. Anybody would love it. It is a travel show, so, you know. Which is good. It's not too hard on you. But the places that they go to are absolutely unbelievable. It's amazing.
16:21Mike Minogue:So it's The Long Way Around on Apple TV. They've got all the seasons on there. The one I just watched was The Long Way Home. Long Way Home. Yeah. And this is like, because one of my dreams, and I'm still trying to talk my wife around to this, because she's terrified, is doing like an international trip where I basically get a motorbike and ride it across the country or do something like that. Yeah. I'd absolutely love to do it. But the thing I was worried about is, because you said they do have a few crashes and things along the way, Do you reckon it'll make her even more worried or less? The ones that they have haven't been bad.
16:50One of the guys has had two absolutely horrendous crashes. So maybe skip that bit. On the thing? Not on this, but prior to doing it. Like at other times when he's been riding bikes in his life. So yeah, it does happen. But then people have car crashes, Keezy. What are you going to do?
17:05Mike Minogue:100 % man, what are you going to do? What am I going to do, Joe? What are you going to do, Joe? Bubble wrap my life? I'd worry about you too, Keezy.
17:10Keyzie:And the thing is... Aren't you better off being chauffeur driven? The thing is, Keezy, with your little motorbike there, top speed at 50k, it would take you forever to get anywhere.
17:25Mike Minogue:Everything I own cannot be little, okay? My motorbike is not little. It's not big, though. It's very sensible, I think.
17:32Keyzie:Yeah, good stuff.
17:33Mike Minogue:I was going to invite you on the road trip, Jase.
17:35Keyzie:Oh, okay. I'll ride bitch.
17:38Mike Minogue:Sure, if you want to ride bitch, that's good. What have you been watching, man? Great stuff.
17:41Keyzie:Well, I went home last night and I said, darling, my love. Did you call her your love? My sweet. Yes, I do. Or did you call her my lady? Jesus. I said, oh. We were like, what should we watch? And I said, oh, Moogie. Had an idea. Sherwood, it's called. Oh, yeah. On TVNZ+. And so we went and found Sherwood. Sherwood. And to my surprise, we went, oh, we've watched this. Yeah. We watched the first series. There's now two series. There is. And we enjoyed the first series. It's kind of a coal mining town. It is. There's a bit of crime going on. A really good cast of actors. You're kind of who's who of British acting, really.
18:25Keyzie:Yeah, some goodies. We actually really enjoyed that. There's a season two. We started season two last night. Bloody good. Great. Really, really good. How many Eps did you get in? Two Eps in. Great. Okay, good. That's all I need to know. Yeah, no, solid. This is very solid stuff. And it's called Sherwood. Sherwood on TVNZ Plus, 3.8 buzies. How good are the actors that they've got, though? We were talking about it the other day. You just believe that they are the people. Unreal. Yes, yes. And they've got some new characters that have come in from the last one, and they're good. Yeah, that's right.
18:54Keyzie:They're good.
18:56Mike Minogue:I didn't watch anything, fellas. We had guests over, including a six-month-old baby. But we'll get into that after five.
19:02Keyzie:How good. Here's Audio Slave.
19:06Mike Minogue:The Hauraki Beat Show with Jace, Mike and Keezy. Tune in weekdays at four on Radio Hodaki.
19:12Keyzie:Welcome back, you massive backbones. Hope your Thursday's going along tickety-boo. You are listening to The Big Show, brought to you by Reburger.
19:20Mike Minogue:Serving good times and good food. Dine in or take away Reburger today.
19:24Keyzie:Indeed, m 'lady. A veritable treasure trove. Shall I turn off the set, m 'lady? Shall I turn off the what? I don't know.
19:35Mike Minogue:You tell me, man. You said it. Oh, turn off the set. I thought he said shit.
19:40Keyzie:A TV set. That's weird. I've never heard it called that. If you're wondering the context of that, Keezy's had this ridiculous idea that I look exactly like Parker from Thunderbirds. So go on our Instagram account and have your say. I don't see a single resemblance between me and Parker.
20:00Mike Minogue:Well, it's hard to look at things from the first-person perspective, Jase. But for me and Mogi looking from the outside, I mean, it's uncanny. Well, we'll let the audience do the talking. You know, I'm staying out of it. I get the feeling that you're offended by this, Jason. I don't want to twist the knife, that's for sure. So we'll just let the audience out there do it via the vote. And by all means, flick us a text on 3483. Let us know what you reckon. Can I just say on this, you are offended by this for some reason?
20:30Keyzie:No, not at all. But I just don't see the resemblance. Right. I can see them in the past or other. Like I was compared to Jackie Chang. And if you actually go and... It's Chan. Oh, Jackie Chan, sorry. And I could see that. I went, okay, I can see that. Yeah. But Parker, you know, and Hoggle from Labyrinth. Okay, okay. So you're happy with Hoggle? Look, I'm not happy about it, Keezy. But I can go, okay. Here he is. You know, that weird bush guy with a tattoo on his forehead? The New Zealander who was Bushman or something? Oh, yes. I can't remember. Yeah, that's right. Oh, maybe.
21:13Mike Minogue:So look, because this is an interesting, so people have texted on 3483, and it's an interesting point they've raised. People have only heard your voice. You know what I mean? And now they can, you know, put a face to the voice by Googling Parker from Thunderbirds, and now you can imagine that Parker's talking while you're listening to the radio. And can you put a voice to the face for them, Keezy, as well? Someone here says, I assumed you look like the Mad Butcher.
21:42Mike Minogue:Based on your voice alone. Based on your voice, yeah. That's a compliment. But now they know that you look like Parker from Thunderbirds. Honestly, when I'm listening to a radio show or a podcast, I like to know what they look like. The funny thing about Hoggle, I'm just looking at Hoggle. Of Labyrinth, the movie. Yeah, from Labyrinth. That is out the gate, isn't it? And he even wears those loopy sort of shirts that you're accustomed to. But Jase is happy with that, but not Parker. I'm not happy with it, Keezy.
22:10Keyzie:I can just say that I can see your very tiny resemblance. If you could squint your eyes there. There's the Foo Fighters.
22:20Mike Minogue:The Hauraki Big Show. Weekdays from four on Radio Hauraki. Cheers.
22:25Keyzie:Cheers. There on the Radio Hauraki Big Show this Thursday afternoon. The time is 15 minutes past five o 'clock.
22:33Mike Minogue:It is a throbber, Mo. It is definitely a throbber banger. It's got me throbbing. I'm going to do that one as my throbber tomorrow. Good on you, man. Just getting in there. Well, that's it. That's a sweet one. Done then. Keezy's won it. Yep. Done and dusted. Hey, fellas, last night I had some good friends come up and stay with us. They're staying over from Christchurch. Oh, nice. Five nights. Five nights. Five nights in Auckland. A lot of nights. How much a night? Zero. Oh. No, no. We're not charging anything. I mean, they're borrowing our car. We pick them up from the airport.
23:01Keyzie:On your anniversary night?
23:02Mike Minogue:On our wedding anniversary, we've bought heaps of food for them. So, yeah, I mean, it's just that's good for us. You picked them up from the airport, didn't you? Yeah, 100%. Yeah. Last night at about 9.30 p.m. Yeah, sweet ass. I was asleep. You were asleep. I had just rushed out of our anniversary dinner. Had to skip dessert. Dashed out. Dashed out. But they have with them a six-month-old baby, human baby. How did that happen? Beats me. What, did they just find it? They had a six-month-old with them. The baby? Was it left behind on the plane or something? No, no, no, no, no, no, it was there, it's there baby Oh, right, yeah Jeez, that would have freaked me out if it wasn't mine Totally Freaked me out and it is theirs, you know And it was the first time I've ever had a baby staying at my house before Right Now you guys did give me some good advice You know, put down a newspaper where the baby's going to sleep Leave out a bowl of lollies, give them a screen
23:55Keyzie:Yeah Oh, definitely you've got to have a screen
23:58Mike Minogue:Yeah, so we just got, my wife's got an iPad So we just had that and fired up That's the one Full brightness Yeah and we just put on an old like drum and bass concert With heaps of lights and stuff Yeah yeah that's the story Bit of Prodigy It was a bit of Prodigy actually It was actually a pendulum
24:11Keyzie:Oh nice Oh yeah yeah good
24:14Mike Minogue:Anyway yeah A bit of Skrillex I was interested because it turns out A bit of rage No That's rock But You gotta play Rage Against the Machine to a baby Jase Come on Skrillex yes But the interesting thing was that baby didn't make any noise during the night, slept right through to about 8am, didn't cry, I still don't know what she sounds like when she cries. Piece of piss. Yes. Really interesting. Bugger it. Oh, well. What do you mean? The secret's out. What? Well, now you know that babies are a piece of piss. They are? Yeah. And that's what I said to my wife. Yeah, I know. What you want is for people to think it's hard.
24:55You sort of bang on as a parent about how hard it is so people will give you pity and feel sorry for you, et cetera, et cetera. But the reality is there's nothing easier than having children.
25:08Keyzie:See, oh, wow. I had four, Kesey. I have four. You think you'd have four if it was hard? Yeah, and in 15, 20 years that they were at home, not a peep.
25:19Mike Minogue:Right, okay. So this whole parenting thing is –
25:21Keyzie:No tears, nothing. Just smiling, happy, content. Totally in control of their own emotions. Absolutely. And able to communicate those emotions. Effectively. Effectively and efficiently. Yes.
25:34Mike Minogue:And also, went to change the nappy. Oh, nothing in there. Nah.
25:38Keyzie:Oh, yeah. 15, 20 years, my girls at home, never any poos.
25:45Mike Minogue:So, yeah, it just sort of had me thinking like, you know, maybe because I've been very not against having children, but it's very much something I've been trying to. Against having children? Yeah, but now I'm like, let's have bloody. You've been planning it. No, I haven't been... Mogi, you've got to stop this rumour, all right? It's getting out of hand. Oh, yeah, rumour, sorry. Yeah, it's a rumour. Don't...
26:06Keyzie:Don't tell anyone. Yeah. Mum's the word.
26:08Mike Minogue:No, it's not the word. Stop it. The Hauraki Big Show. Weekdays from four on Radio Hauraki.
26:15Keyzie:Iggy Pop there on the Radio Hauraki Big Show this Thursday afternoon. The time, 5.26. 5, 6, 7, 8. Men, men, men, men, men, men, men, men, men, men, men, men, men, men, men, men, men, men, men, men. Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh. One and a half mogies. Douch, douche. What's, mogie, what's one and a half mogies? That's where I talk about little adventures I've had with my daughter Mogie Minogi. Let's her know. We haven't done one of these for a while. No. Actually. So over Christmas there, you know how you've got to give the kids presents. Apparently so, yeah. She really wanted some roller skates. Cool. Yeah.
27:02Classic. And my concern was that we would get them for her, and then she would never, ever, ever use them. Because my concern was, I said to the wife there, I see it in a very easy, chill discussion. Relaxed. I said, if she gets a skateboard, good as gold. I can teach you how to do that. I don't know how to roller skate. I said, do you know how to roller skate? No. Right. So how's she going to learn how to roller skate?
27:27Mike Minogue:Well, very good point. Thank you. I remember getting roller blades.
27:43Mike Minogue:How are roller blades funnier than roller skate? Hey, come on. This is not funny enough to derail this yarn. I got some rollerblades when I was younger, and my mum and dad didn't know how to do it, but I learned how to do it without videos or, you know. I just learned because I was a kid, and kids just figure it out. Yeah. Rollerblades. Well, you're desperate to be cool at that stage, weren't you? How old were you, though? Six. Wow, six. You're on your rollerblades out there. Yeah. And they let you outside on rollerblades. Correct. It was a plantation around the avocado plantation. Oh, that's right.
28:22Mike Minogue:I forgot I grew up on an avocado plantation. One of the servants knew how to do it, and he taught me how to do it. See, that's the thing. I think that helps. Anyway, that was my concern, Tegsy. Well, anyway, she went down. They had, during the school holidays, which were going for another eight years, they had something going down at the local park here. And she went down there, and, you know, like a new, you know, the common phrase is like a newborn giraffe. Yes. That just falling all over. They're tricky bloody things. and my daughter's only sort of six, six and a half anyway. You've just sort of got to hold their hands as they go along.
28:55This is what the fellow was doing there and sort of making very sure that you just go with your stopper thingies on the front toes there, those little knobs there, whatever those thingies are called. And then after time you've just got to let them go, then you hold the hips and then sort of just push them off and before they don't realise that you're not holding and supporting them. Well, within about 30 or 40 seconds of being released by the teacher She was doing 940 years on the halfpipe down there Wow Absolutely unbelievable Backflips, grinds, rock and rolls With her rollerblades Yeah, well, no, no No, she's not a loser, Keezy Roller skates
29:35Mike Minogue:Okay, sorry, rollerblades are cooler than roller skates We're going to have to do another poll on this because I don't think they are. Now, I think your parents told you that because they found some on the side of the road. They didn't tell me shit, right? So anyway, yeah, as it turns out, she's an absolute natural. And yeah, there's potential there that she's going to be going to the Olympics. Wow. This year. Funny you should say that, actually. Isn't it the Winter Olympics?
30:06Keyzie:Because I recall getting one of my little ones some roller skates. Oh, they're cool, though. You know how they bang on at you? Can you, Dad, Dad, Dad, Dad, Dad? Ask your mother. And I was like, oh, okay. So I bought her some roller skates, and I took her down to the local park there and held her hand, and I was holding her hips, and then finally just released her into the wild, as they say. Face planted immediately and knocked her four front teeth out. Bloody blood pissing out everywhere. Oh, well. Could have been worse, man. She could have been on rollerblades.
30:46Mike Minogue:Joel from LAB up next. The Hauraki Big Show. Weekdays from four on Radio Hauraki.
30:53Keyzie:Yes, indeed. Weezer there on the Radio Hauraki Big Show this glorious Thursday afternoon. And our musical guests continue. We had a musical guest yesterday. We've got another one today. It's a man himself, Joel from LAB. G'day, Joel. What do you want? Everything. Money. Yes. The woman. Hey. Let's start with those two. That's a good start. Well, it's a bit of a contradiction thing. I mean, but you're in a massively successful band. You must be rolling in it, man. And money as well. Hey. There he is. Cut it out. Hey. Oh, the boys, eh? Hey. Yeah. I mean, you know, like fast cars. Yeah. Well, I got myself a car the other day.
31:34What'd you go for? I've got a Tita 2003. It's an absolute ripper. Yeah, I got a Ranger. Oh, did you? Yeah. I'm on that buzz. Yeah, man. That's good, though. Yeah, it does the trick.
31:44Mike Minogue:Gunmetal grey. Can't even see. Oh, yeah. Good stuff, mate. Did you buy that from the Ford dealership at the Mount there? Yes. Yeah, my brother works there. Does he? Yeah, yeah, yeah. He said the new range is terrible. Really? I've died there.
31:57Keyzie:Good. What's been going on, Joel? Have you been doing anything over the summer? I haven't been paying attention already, to be honest. Fair enough. Yeah, we had a few shows. Yeah, good. Yeah, played at Rhythm and Vines. Oh, how good. How did that go, man? That was another pissing down with rain, and then it was all good. Yeah, we played day two when everyone had their gumboots, and then the sun came out, and we did the sunset slot. Oh, man. She was pumping. Old Kid Cudi was over there. Now, I'm a fan of his, but it's difficult for me to get in there as an elder gentleman. It's a weird look having me roaming around the camping ground.
32:34People think it's a bit weird. How did he go? Did you catch him? No, we were literally in and out.
32:38Keyzie:We played the show and then played another show the next day. Where else did you play? We played at the Bowl in Taranaki. That's a good spot, man.
32:46Mike Minogue:Never heard of it. Are you serious? We plug so many gigs at the Bowl in Taranaki. Is that like a paddock or something in a farm? It's the Bowl of Brooklyn or something, isn't it? Bowl of Brooklyn, yeah. Yeah, sounds good. Also played Wharepai Domain in Tauranga. Never heard of it. I played softball there, Jase. Gold Coast as well. Strike three.
33:03Keyzie:On your way, Kesey.
33:05Mike Minogue:That's not how it happened. It's not that funny. But you guys have got a gig coming up. Trust Serena Outer Fields, just up the road from my house, man. Oh, yes. Playing in Auckland. And am I right in saying Nisian Mystic are joining you guys? That's correct. Yeah. Nisian Mystic. I mean, Jase, you're a big fan of Nisian Mystic. Never heard of them. Yes, you. Very weirdly, the other day I was looking them up because I was thinking about Throbbers. We do a song every Friday where we play a tune. A big tune, yeah. And I came across them and I thought, geez, what are they up to? and then saw that they're playing their first gig, is it in 15 years or something?
33:3915 years, yeah.
33:40Keyzie:They were huge back in the day. They were. Yeah. And they just packed it up. Yeah, I think they've retired about six times and then come out and done another show. Fill up the bank. Yeah, yeah. That's the difficulty with retiring, isn't it? You retire and then you go, now what am I going to do? You know what I mean? That's what I keep trying to tell you, Jase. How am I going to fill my time? Yeah. You know? I'll tell you what, let's go to our tune. What one was it, Keezy?
34:05Mike Minogue:We're going to shoot on you from LAB, which we've actually played on the playlist for a wee while there. What is shoot on you about, Joel? Because the way Jase says shoot on you makes it sound like it's dirty.
34:14Keyzie:Yeah, look, it's not about that. The lyric is pull out my gun and shoot on you. You take that as you will, Jase. Well, I've certainly got a few visuals in my mind here. Joel, as I'm thinking about it, should we pump it out?
34:32Mike Minogue:What, the song or is that a proposition? Here's LAB, shoot on you. The Hauraki Big Show, weekdays from four on Radio Hauraki.
34:40Keyzie:Shoot, eh, fellas? Shoot on you, LAB. Speaking of which, we've got Joel from the band here with us. So what's the band been up to, I should say, apart from gigs and so forth? Are you getting another album in the mix? What's been happening? Yeah, that's the plan this year, man. We're going to hit the studio and get amongst. Nice. Can I guess the name of it? Yep. Toto 7. Really? No
35:05Mike Minogue:You're up to five Isn't it Seven Seven Is it actually Holy shit At any point Are you regretting The naming convention
35:13Keyzie:Well look It's just chapters Just like Harry Potter bro You know Just like straight up the guts One through seven Yeah right Maybe we go to ten I don't know But maybe we should Change it up Hey look If you've got any suggestions Folks Fire them through
35:25Mike Minogue:3483 Is the text number How are you guys going As a band man You still enjoy Working together Yes What What have you heard? Yeah, hang on. What have you heard, Keezy?
35:36Keyzie:There was a real pause there before you said yes.
35:39Mike Minogue:Yeah, it was like, yes. Well, it's because we talked about this yesterday. We had Liz from The Bethsen. Oh, legend. She's an absolute legend, lovely. And we were talking about how some bands, they have a falling out and then they stop and the other bands can go on for a long time. LAB, you guys have been going for a while as well. You guys all still.
35:54Keyzie:Close to a decade now, yeah. But yeah, we're good, man. Like we're, you know, everyone's at different stages of life. Yeah. Yes. That's a thing, you know. Yeah. One of our boys is running a gym at home in Whakatane. So it's like everyone's busy doing other stuff as well as our EVs. It's not just our lives. At one point it was. Yes. That's all we did for four years.
36:17Mike Minogue:And that's how you get the plan started, though, right?
36:19Keyzie:Yeah, so now it's at that point where we're kind of like, you know, just, yeah. That's a good thing, though, I reckon, seriously, having other things going on in your life. So it's not just your sole focus. I mean, creatively, do you feel like you've changed direction much from where you started off to where you are now? Yeah, for sure. God, that was a good question for me. That was a great one. Are you getting serious? I know, it was a bit too serious. Yeah, it definitely has evolved and I think the sound is kind of, you know, that first album was raw and up their guts, heaps of solos and, you know, quite full on and then it kind of softened a bit and we've definitely tried so many things.
36:56Keyzie:We had strings on albums. We've had all sorts of different flavours, I guess. And moving forward, we want to kind of go back to that. Oh, yeah, that'll be the missus. It's good that you're asking about getting more chicks.
37:12Keyzie:Yeah, what was I saying? You've tried lots of different things on your album, including strings. Yeah, yeah. So kind of moving forward, we always try and bring a new element in, you know, some kind of - Yeah, man. Well, you have to keep it new, you know what I mean? Otherwise, you don't get excited about it. And then going with the time apart and time off, it's good to kind of refuel creatively and come back to the drawing board with some stuff. Yes.
37:31Mike Minogue:Well, one of your songs, Mr. Reggae, literally is a bit there where you're just breaking it down on all these different instruments, including a bit of honky-tonk sounding piano and stuff like that. So is that you guys just testing stuff out? Totally.
37:42Keyzie:We just come up with that. That's actually a cover of a Hawaiian reggae song. Really? And the chorus boys used to play it back in the day.
37:49Mike Minogue:Really? It's just like a warm-up kind of jam. I had no idea. Yeah, yeah. and then we kind of made that arrangement and chucked a solo in there and changed it up. Hell yeah. You guys are playing with Stan Walker. This is actually my, this is like right in my wheelhouse to be honest. LAB and then you've got Stan Walker. My missus will be happy about that. Can't sing, eh? Stan Walker. What? He's got a, yeah. You were saying off air, Joel. He's got a shock in there.
38:13Keyzie:Cut it out. Man, I wish I could sing like that, Kat. Holy hecka.
38:18Mike Minogue:You've got Nisian Mystic playing. Aradna's playing as well. Tewehi and that's happening. Trust Serena Outerfields. If you do want tickets, loop.co.nz. It's a hell of a cast, man.
38:26Keyzie:Yeah, we're looking forward to it, man. It's the first time we've played in Auckland in like four years as well. Have you been out to the Trust before? No. For Keezy and I, that's our home hood, man. That's our hood. Yeah, man. Any good? What's a good pie? West. Here we go. Yeah, that ain't no, man. They buy all their pies in town and then they get out home and they lock all the doors. That's why it's shocking out there, right? No. Yeah, man. That's why Jase is just about to move into the city. He hates it. Yeah, Jase. It's true, man. It's true. Well, I mean, it's backbone out West. It's backbone.
38:56Keyzie:It is. So it doesn't suit Jase at all. He's got to get into town. He's going to go Herne Bay. I certainly wouldn't walk the streets of West Auckland. Unless you wanted to do it.
39:06Mike Minogue:To be honest, I would. I just wouldn't wear the shirt Jase is wearing. I just want to say about Iradna. How good is it that she's come back? I think she won the album of the year last year or something. Insane. Yeah, man.
39:17Keyzie:She's such a, like, there's just an aura about her when she sings. She's an incredible singer. She looked exactly, I saw her at the musicals last year. She looks exactly the same. Sounds exactly the same. It's so good to have her back. Like, what's she been doing? She been working at German Whakatane. Yeah, well, yeah, she's definitely keeping busy. I don't know in regards to, like, releasing music. I'm not sure what she's up to. But, man, she sounds great. It's so good to have her on the line-up, man.
39:42Mike Minogue:We've got Joel from LAB with us. Before we let you go, Joel, do you still get fizz for live performances, man? Is that still the highlight? No, like, fizz for it. Oh, fizz.
39:49Keyzie:Oh, absolutely, bro. That's still the best thing? Yeah, man. Nothing beats it There's nothing I've had that beats the live performance
39:54Mike Minogue:I'll tell you that West Auckland pie Or being on the big show He was saying off air when he was slagging off Stan Walker Thanks so much for coming in Joel man And once again that is happening Saturday Jan 31st Which is this weekend Tickets available loop.co.nz
40:14Keyzie:That's us man Thanks for having me

40:25Mike Minogue:How good was old Joel from LAB, man?
40:27Keyzie:Good bastard, isn't he?
40:28Mike Minogue:Nice fella. He is a nice fella. He's a really lovely fella. And you pointed out, Mo, he's got big calves. He's got huge legs on him. He's been going hard at the gym, he reckons. Jeez, a good couple of trees. They seem naturally big to me, though.
40:39Keyzie:Yeah, he was solid, man. And he's got a hell of a voice, I recall.
40:43Mike Minogue:The lead singer of LAB.
40:45Keyzie:Yeah, he can pump out the chains. He can. He can belt them out, man.
40:49Mike Minogue:Hey, coming up after six, fellas, we're going to be calling the winner of the Backbone Bench competition for this week, which is going to see the Breakers play live at Spark Arena. You get seats on the side of the court, you get food and drinks paid for, and it's Tom Abercrombie's retirement game too, which is pretty exciting. So if you've entered that competition, have your phone on. And we also find out the results of the big poll, which is, does Hoidi J look like Parker from Thunderbirds? Google it or head to the Hauraki Big Show's Instagram, We put a post up there with a photo of Parker and a photo of Jase.
41:21Mike Minogue:Have your say, and we'll have the final verdict after six. Yeah, man. The Hauraki Big Show with Jase, Mike, and Keezy. Tune in weekdays at four on Radio Hauraki.
41:34Keyzie:Welcome back, you massive backbones. Hope Thursday's going off for you. You're listening to The Big Show, brought to you by Rebeer Gear.
41:41Mike Minogue:Beef, chicken, vegan, and vegetarian options. Rebeer Gear are redefining the norm. Rebeer Gear.
41:56Mike Minogue:How's your cat going, by the way, Mogi? That reminded me of your cat for some reason. I did it, yeah. Cat's going great guns. It's a huge bastard now. Absolutely off its head, bounces off the wall. I love it. Yeah. I absolutely love having a cat. It's great fun. Your first cat? No, well, as an adult, yeah, we always had cats growing up. I love cats. But the kid loves it. The missus absolutely loves having a cat in the house. We've got Grandma Sue staying there. Grandma Sue doesn't like cats. She likes this one. Yes. Yeah, I really enjoy it. How does Grandma Sue feel about the cat's name? Look, I've had to cover that up a little bit.
42:31Right. But, you know, it is what it is. When I told her that we came up with the name, you know, Birchit Chris. Yeah. And it was not my call. It was a binding referendum. It was. You know, from a big pole. she completely understood
42:45Mike Minogue:right okay yeah yeah yeah speaking of the big poll actually and binding referendums up next the results of today's big poll which is does Hoity J look like Parker from Thunderbirds yes the puppet version the OG you can either google it right now and just double check the photo or you can head to the Hodaki Big Show Instagram and vote there Jase how you feeling heading into this one what
43:09Keyzie:look again I will say You can have your fun, but there is no resemblance whatsoever to Parker from Hoity J. Righto. I don't know where it came from. Who's... Oh, it was your idea.
43:26Mike Minogue:It was my idea. Oh, man.
43:29Keyzie:It's just... Just no.
43:31Mike Minogue:Okay. All right. Well, that's up next anyway. Binding referendum. Sublime?
43:37Keyzie:So what does it mean if it's a binding referendum?
43:40Mike Minogue:It means you're Parker from Thunderfield. The Hauraki Big Show. Weekdays from four on Radio Hauraki.
43:47Keyzie:Block party there on the Radio Hauraki Big Show this Thursday evening. But right now it's time for... The Big Pole.
44:02Mike Minogue:That's right, it is the Big Pole.
44:10Mike Minogue:And today's big poll, does Jason Hoyt look like Parker from Thunderbirds?
44:17Mike Minogue:Look, you can vote up at the Hodaki Big Show's Instagram page. We put a post there, a photo of Parker and a photo of Hoytie J. To be honest, I get mixed up as to which one's which. You can tell which one's Hoytie J because he's wearing a turkey shirt. A lot of comments on this post, Jase. Would you like to hear some of them?
44:32Keyzie:Not really.
44:36Mike Minogue:Okay, Blackhawk says, it's him. Billy says that's a visual confirmation on Hoity Jizzbot Michael says Parker is taller Which I think is insulting Who's his lady Penelope then? Who's your lady Penelope? Will that be your wife? That be my wife My lady
45:00Keyzie:Backbone
45:02Mike Minogue:Says Cape Produce Which I believe is an exporter of premium New Zealand produce So they've decided. But would you like to know the final verdict? Not really. Mogi, do you want to guess? It's going to be up there, I'll tell you what. Yeah. It's going to be up there. And what did we say the threshold was? It was above 50%. Well, I think it should be a minimum of 60 for a binding referendum. 60 for a binding referendum. Okay. And what do you do if it's over 90? What's that? Then you have to get a tattoo. You have to get a tattoo of Parker. Whereabouts? I don't know, man. I don't know. I don't know The result is Horty Jade 95 % of everyone Thinks you look like Parker from Thunderbirds That's one of our
45:45Keyzie:Highest results Of all time Highest ever I think it is Yeah Okay well

46:01Keyzie:Shall I turn off The set M 'lady if there is a bit
46:08Mike Minogue:treasure trove. You do sound just like him. I do, eh? Was there like a cooler person from Thunderbirds you wanted to be, or what is it, man?
46:15Keyzie:There was, of course, Lady Penelope. Yeah, did you want to be her? Yeah, I'd rather be Lady Penelope than that loser.
46:23Mike Minogue:Parker's the man. Nosey Parker.
46:28Keyzie:Aloysius. Brains is another one. Oh, Brains, of course. Yeah, with the big glasses. Yeah, that's right.
46:32Mike Minogue:And then you had Virgil. Virgil. That's right. I think, was he the old guy who ran the island and they were all his sons or something like that? Yes. Sons and daughters? And then you had what? Jase, what was your favourite Thunderbird, man?
46:44Keyzie:It was before my time, Kesey. Thunderbirds was? I grew up watching that. Yeah, well, you know, it was before my time.
46:51Mike Minogue:Come on, man. I was a big Thunderbird 2 guy. Yeah. Yeah, I wasn't that into it. It was a bit freaky. I found the puppets a bit freaky. I was always freaked out by the puppets.
47:02Keyzie:Really? I used to get freaked out by the Sesame Street puppets as well. Right. Genuinely, they used to freak me out.
47:11Mike Minogue:You must have hated the worst. Who was the worst one?
47:16Keyzie:Of Thunderbirds or Sesame Street? No, no, out of Sesame Street or, you know, or the Muppets, which was the one that freaked you out the most. Animal?
47:27Mike Minogue:Really? He's the drummer, right? Yeah. Far out.
47:32Keyzie:Oh, no, I'll tell you who it was. The one that used to freak me out was the Swedish scientist guy. Was it the Swedish chef or the scientist that had no eyeballs? Oh, the scientist that had no eyeballs, yeah. Actually, now that I think about it, Maggie. That's true. Beaker. Beaker, yes. Are you Beaker? Beaker as well. Beaker was his mate. Yeah, yeah. Beaker was his lab assistant. Yes, that's right.
47:56Mike Minogue:Actually, question, Jase. Would you rather look like Parker from Thunderbirds or Gonzo from Sesame Street or the Muppets? Just out of curiosity, which one would you rather look like? We'll do that tomorrow. The Hauraki Big Show, weekdays from four on Radio Hauraki.
48:12Keyzie:ACDC there on the Radio Hauraki Big Show this Thursday evening. Now listen up. If you love your basketball and you'd love to go and see the breakers and sit on a bench with three of your mates right up close on court there, get some beverages provided, get some food provided, then you need to turn your phones on right now.
48:32Mike Minogue:That's right. If your phone is off, turn it on. Also, if your phone was used at any point to text the word bench to 3483, because it is time to go through. Pick a name out of the hat. I believe Pugs has done this. Pugs are. And just keep in mind, this person that we're about to speak to will be tomorrow night watching the Breakers take on Melbourne United at Spark Arena. As Jay said, your court side, free food, free drinks, and it's also Tom Abercrombie's Jersey retirement game too.
48:56Keyzie:It'll be a good night. It will be a good night.
48:59Mike Minogue:Let's go to the line there. Jase?
49:01Keyzie:Yeah, g'day, Christian, you mad bastard. How's life? It's good, mate. Yourself? Yeah, good, thanks, Christian. Obviously, you like your basketball, mate. Yeah, we do. We do.
49:10Mike Minogue:Christian, do you play a bit of basketball or have you played any? No, mate, too short. Too short. Do you know how to bounce the ball and then bounce it again? Oh, I can spin it on my finger. Yeah, man. Oh, yeah, yeah, good. Hang on a minute. You're not a Harlem Globetrotter, are you? Oh, mate. You couldn't have guessed. Guilty as charged, Christian. So tomorrow night, mate, you will be going along sitting courtside, ripping into some free food and beverages as well. Who are you going to take with you? Probably the missus, my brother and his missus. Oh, how good. How bloody good.
49:43Keyzie:Tell me, Christian, what do you do for a crust, mate?
49:46Mike Minogue:I'm a sales rep for long-run roofing. Oh, beautiful. We're best going to roof, you know, that long run stuff. Yeah. That's the aluminium stuff. To be honest, for a long time there, I was more into my short run stuff. No, the short run stuff, it's too short. Yeah, you're right. That's the beauty of the long run. It's much, much longer. See, I'm more of a medium run guy now, though. Hey, Christian, good news, mate. You've got that prize. You and your friends there and your family are going along to that game, man. So enjoy. Your girlfriends. Thanks, mate. You hold the line, Pugs will sort you out.
50:16Mike Minogue:Lucky bastard, eh, fellas? Hope he sends a photo. Yeah. Do you really want a photo? Yeah, I like it when they send the photo because we had the guys a few weeks ago. We did. They went along, they sent us a photo of them having a great time enjoying the basketball and the drinks and the food. Yes. You're right, okay. I do like it. So everyone that wins anything, send a photo to Mogey. Oh, not anything. Some of the stuff I couldn't care less about. Like, for example, if somebody sends in a photo and they're holding a Reeburger voucher, not that we send any out. Yes, we do. Don't start that as a rumour.
50:46Mike Minogue:The Hauraki Big Show. weekdays from four on Radio Hauraki.
50:57Keyzie:Well, there you go, you mad bastards. That's the big show done and dusted for your Thursday. Make sure you tune in to the show tomorrow, by the way. Of course, the Friday Throbber feels. Feelers. On that note, what are we going to do? Do we know what we're going to do? Let's just go to generic. Generic, yeah, yeah. And this is something that's really standing out. I just sort of feel like generic's the best way to go. Yeah. Because we can tie ourselves up and nots Keezy, can't we? Yeah. Trying to think of something.
51:23Mike Minogue:Fun, though. Yeah.
51:26Keyzie:Hey, Keezy, what's the podcast outro clip today? Oh, God. Maybe it's not what I think it is.
51:32Mike Minogue:It's just a disclaimer. Here it is, and just be, yeah, just be wary. Get him, get him, get him, get him. G'day, guys. It's old Keezy from The Big Show here. Just a quick disclaimer here. Hey, Jase. Jase got a bit out of control there. said ****. Jase literally said a really bad thing to the point where Pugs beeped it. You'll hear it soon. He's just joking around.
51:55Keyzie:Context people, come on.
51:56Mike Minogue:And then it also got a bit dirty as well. So just a bit of a disclaimer. But yeah, it's a great episode, but just don't play it to the kids.
52:02Keyzie:Do you think it was so controversial, fellas, that we need to scrub that podcast? What do you mean scrub it? Just remove it from the history books. I don't know if you can. Nah, man. We've already talked about it on the old radio there so we had to release it. We could stay behind after the show today and do another one. I mean if it's causing that much offence.
52:21Mike Minogue:Well no, Pugs has beeped it. We've put a disclaimer. There's nothing more we can do. The only other thing we can do, which we will do, probably come out maybe 7.30 tonight, is release a video of it. Yeah, yeah. The unedited version. And then I guess tomorrow we'll meet up maybe 15 minutes early and just go over the... Pugs, you'll be the new third member of the on-air team. And Pugs... And Hoity J, you'll be off in Russell doing a bit of fishing. Yeah. In between court dates.
52:49Keyzie:Shit, yeah. You might have to move to Bali. Well, look, I'm absolutely open to re-recording. Oh, I bet you are. Shall we record the first five minutes of it? I've done mine, man. Oh, okay. I'm finished. Honestly, Jase. I mean, fellas. Let the thingies, whatever they are. The chips fall where they may. Thank you.
53:12Mike Minogue:Yeah, let sleeping dogs lie. Oh, nice. Is that a correct usage of that? I think so. Okay.
53:17Keyzie:Close enough, Keezy.
53:18Mike Minogue:Who let the dogs out? Correct. Hey, but tune in tomorrow, 4pm, for the Moggy, Keezy and Pugsan show. And Jase, I guess good luck in Bali.
53:42Thank you.
