This is the biggest, biggest, biggest, biggest, this is the biggest, our biggest show. The Hodaki Big Show. With Jason Hoyte, Mike Minogue and Keyzie. Oh, g'day you massive backbones. It is the 17th of December for 2025 and you as always listening to the Hodaki Big Show brought to you by Reburger. gear. Handcrafted big gears, loaded fries and gourmet eats, that'll change the game.
0:45Mike Minogue:That's so good, Pugson. That's a new one you got there, man. What's that? That's a new one you got there. Nah, that's been there the whole time. Was that a dog? What's that? Was that a dog? Well, you know, Reburg is for everyone, man. And you know, I think it's obviously meant for people originally, but there's no reason why the animals shouldn't enjoy it too. So is that a dog? What's that? Is it a dog? Pardon? I don't know if we should be feeding Reburga to dogs. What's that? Stop saying what's that. You've got to get your ears checked, fucks out. Mogi, you rogue stallion. How's this fine Wednesday afternoon treating you?
1:17Going pretty grouse, you mad dog. You're 600B. I mean, it's relatively fine, but it was as cold as a bastard today, wasn't it? The temperature really dropped off. But outside of that, look, she's Wednesday, fellas. As we were saying on the podcast, two more sleeps to go until the end of the year for us. It's getting pretty sad now. Yeah. It'll be really sad to see the back of it. Are you? Yeah. Why are you smiling? Why are you going to be grin on your face? I don't think I am.
1:42Mike Minogue:No, you are. Am I? It's getting bigger. I don't know. Oh, my God, your teeth. You've got your teeth out. I don't know, man. Pug-san. Hello. How are you today? Yeah, I'm good, man. That's good. You know, I was explaining in the podcast outro, I think I have one day a week where I feel like I'm behind. or Chase and Mattel. And that's today, but I'm grateful to be here with you fellas. You know what I mean? It's all G. See, I reckon you'd probably have five days a week where I think you're behind.
2:07Mike Minogue:Hey, Mogi, what's coming up on the show today, man?
2:12What's happening on the big show with old Mogi? That was pretty good on the old buttons there from Pugson. Just want to flag that with everyone. That was good stuff. Just so I screw it up later. Yeah. Why would that happen? Hey, today we've got a huge interview with Tom Sainsbury, who's got a TV show version of his podcast coming out, Small Town Scandal. Mogi's top five. Today we're going to be doing podcasts. Oh man, hopefully the big show features. People are going to be riveted by that. And then next up, fellas, I had a hell of a night last night. Oh. Old Mogi here ran into his hall pass. Ah, okay.
2:49You know how you got a hall pass? Yeah. Well, I ran into mine last night, and it was something else, let me tell you. Far out.
2:56Mike Minogue:Also, your chance shortly to win$100 worth of Reburgers to get ready to call us on 0800 Hauraki. This is The Strokes last night. The Hauraki Big Show, weekdays from 4 on Radio Hauraki. Faith and the more on The Hauraki Big Show. 13 minutes past 4 this Wednesday afternoon with Keezy Mogey and Old Pugsar. Fellas, last night I had a hell of a night. Oh, yeah? I ran into my hall pass Ah, so hall pass being the one person You're allowed to sort of have an affair with You and your partner generally You have an agreement On the off chance that I run into this person Usually it's got to be a celebrity It's got to be a well-known person It can't be your neighbour Yeah, right Or Kate from the office From work, yeah Yeah, Casey Well, no, that's not my hall pass Kate It's got to be somebody famous Otherwise there's too much of a chance of happening So it's got to be someone that is just so unlikely It will really never happen But if you did run into them The idea is that your partner would be sweet with it And they were up for it Your hall pass was up for it Well that's the thing Because there's one thing that you run into your hall pass It's a completely another thing That the celebrity is going to show the slightest bit of interest in you And I don't mean you Kesey But you know the worldly, the you The royal you Yeah, the royal you.
4:18Mike Minogue:Thank you. Let's just say so. God, I'm still so happy from last night. Let's just say, Mogi, just quickly before we get to last night, let's say Margot Robbie, I do bump into her song. Yes. Right? I bump into Margot Robbie and I just say to her, hey, Margot, just so you know, you're my hall pass. She doesn't then have to go, oh, okay, well, I guess. No, that's right. No, but she would be stoked, though, if you said that, Margot Robbie. You reckon? If that doesn't work, I'd be shocked. Yeah. But, yeah, she'd never get anything done. Who's yours, Pokeson? You remember that TV show I was talking about yesterday?
4:49Isle of LA with Rachel Sennett? Oh, yes. Yeah. I mean, Celebrity Crush will pass. It makes sense.
4:54Mike Minogue:No, I thought your Celebrity Crush was the actor who played Velma on the Scooby-Doo movie. Oh, yeah. No, you're right. Linda Cardellini. Linda Cardellini, who's also on The Penguin. No. Oh, right. No, she's not. Is she not? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Different actress. But I see the confusion. Anyway, fellas, I was out and about last night. I went to a little bar here that's just around the corner. I was just having a quiet drink with somebody A work drink Then that person left and I was just finishing up I had a jug left So you were sat there by yourself drinking like a super jug Yeah just finishing it off because you don't want to waste it Was it like a situation where your workmate was like You were coming back with a full jug And then they were like oh I'm just about to go Yeah exactly Yeah why is cool But fellas let's not get off topic It's not about the jug Anyway, I'm sitting there And then there's a bit of a murmur that goes through the bar And you can sort of feel A presence of someone's coming And I turn around and lo and behold And a small group of people's coming It's my hall pass And I think to myself Well now's my chance But I was also very aware of the fact That your partner says Oh yeah, it's fine But they didn't think there's actually going to be an opportunity So I quickly got on the phone, called my wife And she was like yeah sure that's fine.
6:16Wow she doesn't care. She was like yeah go for it. Oh okay. Go for it. She was like yeah sweet. So that was I was like oh thanks thanks babe we'll see you later I guess. Yeah right. Anyway I think now's my chance so I need a bit of courage I scull this jug and then I'm straight over there and I have a yarn. Really? She's at the bar ordering. How'd you open it up? Pardon me? How'd you start things? Oh, I said, what are you drinking there? I recommend the super jug. That's a classic move. Anyway, she didn't know what that was because she's not from New Zealand. So now I'm explaining jugs to her.
6:56Just explaining jugs to your hall pass.
6:58Mike Minogue:To my hall pass. Anyway, I've got a couple beers in me, so I'm pretty charming. I'm like, you know when you play pool when you've had just the right amount of beers? You're in the Goldilocks zone. I'm in the Goldilocks zone. I'm just the right amount of charming. So we sit down and we just sort of chat the night away. And one thing leads to another, and it was a hell of a night of passion, fellas. Really? One hell of a night of passion. So, look, for all those people out there that think it's not possible, that you're never going to get your hall pass, what are the chances of it happening? There is a chance of it happening.
7:30It can happen. It happened to me. Holy cow, mate. So keep on dreaming. Well done, man. And not only was it just the hall pass, there was more than one person involved. What?
7:38Mike Minogue:What? you're an animal can I just can I just I feel like who was the hall pass Oprah Winfrey
7:49and Steadman
7:54Mike Minogue:I'm so stoked for you man that's so great I'm over the moon I think I need to pop outside for a moment I'm smitten I'm smitten The Horaki Big Show with Jace, Mike and Keezy Tune in weekdays at 4 on Radio Hauraki. There's a sentence that doesn't make sense.
8:36Mike Minogue:He was trying to say you're good at running the buttons and stuff, pokes. You know? Yeah. Do you bring this kind of energy when you're DJing? My energy's garbage when I'm DJing. Hey, fellas. I just look like I don't want to be there. Fellas. If I could just get back to the big Reburger re-gift, which is a huge campaign we're running heading into Christmas. Keezy, congratulations on naming this little segment we've got here as well, the Reburger re-gift. Yeah. You've got on the wheels, man. Speaking of things that make no sense. Well, it was either that or the Reburger redial. Oh, that's good. Yeah, but it also doesn't really make any sense.
9:10Oh, yeah, none of it makes sense.
9:11Mike Minogue:The way this competition works is you call us on 0800 Hauraki. We ask you what you do for a crust. And then Pugs plays a Reburger sting. Yeah. You then have to copy it, and you'll get yourself$100 worth of Reburger. Let's go to the first person. G'day, Nick. How you going, you mad bastard? Yeah, not bad, boys. How's things? Yeah. Good as gold, Nick. Yeah, not bad, mate. What do you do for a crust, man? Oh, mate, I work in health and safety. Oh, back on you. Nick from Osh. Yeah, good on you, mate. That a one, man. That a one. Hey, how's Christchurch today, man? Oh, I brought down earlier. It was like a thunderstorm, but now it's not too bad.

All right, you ready? All right. Let's do it. Scrum Diddlyumptious Go Nick Scrum Diddlyumptious That's lovely Yeah nice work Nick That's how you do it man It sounded like Pugs just played it twice Good work Nick You've got yourself You've got yourself $100 worth of Reburger man Oh mate awesome Get it in ya Easy as that mate You have a good one G'day Jase How you going man Jase G'day brother How you doing Yeah Going really good man What do you do for a crust, Jase?
10:33Mike Minogue:I'm a dirty old forklift driver. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. I knew it. Jase, do you have that little knob on the steering wheel, man? What knob's that? The knob that you put on the steering wheel of a forklift so you can spin the wheel around really fast? Yeah, of course. Yeah. Gotta have one of those, man. Man, it's Jase, man. A little bit of forklift chat there. All right, Jase, Pugs is going to play a sting. If you can copy it, you get yourself$100 worth of Reburger. Here we go. Yum. Go, Jase. Yum.
11:07Mike Minogue:Good work, Jase. $100 worth of Reeburger coming your way, brother. Yum. Good work. And lucky last, let's go to... Oh, g'day, Hayden. How you going, man? Oh, hi, guys. Good, mate. Hayden, what do you do for a crust again, man? I'm a timber handling and machining specialist. Oh, that's right. Backbone. I feel like he's never said that. Backbone. Good on you, Hayden. Alright, Pugs is going to play you a Reburger sting.
11:42Mike Minogue:You just have to copy it and$100 worth of Reburger is all yours. Take it away, Pugs. Reburger. Reburger. Reburger. Reburger. Reburger. Alright, go, Hayden. Reburger. Reburger. Keep going, man. Go on, mate. That was like 10 seconds. Reburger. Keep going. No,
12:12that was shocking.

I told her. Yeah, told her, Hayden. You hold the line, mate. You have a great Christmas there. Well, fellas, tell you what. another successful Reburger re-gift. It's a gem. Absolute gem. Do you think we're making it too easy? Like we should like maybe encourage a little more competition or just... Or are they just that good? I don't want to get in the way of a man's or a woman's Reburger. If I can avoid it. Fair enough.
12:48Mike Minogue:The Hauraki Big Show with Jace, Mike and Keezy. Tune in weekdays at 4 on Radio Hauraki. You two, The Fly on the Hauraki Big Show. Wednesday afternoon with Keezy Moogie and Pugson. Nine minutes to five o 'clock, which means it's time to talk telly. What's on the telly with Mike Minogue?
13:10Yeah.
13:19Fellas, last night I watched Formula One. It's a movie. It's on Apple. You could rent it if you like, but it's also available there if you've got a subscription. It stars Brad Pitt and it goes for two hours and 36 minutes. Really? The Formula One movie does? Two hours and 36 minutes. Also got Javier Bardem, who I love usually, but not in this. This movie, now you've reviewed this, Pugs-Arm, before, and you didn't like it. Could you tell? And my opinion is this movie sucks. Because you were enjoying the first time. And I did enjoy it, but it still sucks. Yeah, right. There's nothing good about it.
14:01Brad Pitt has had a bit of work done. I'll say that for him. He's had a bit of work done. The old face isn't moving like it used to. But it's the story of an old guy who used to be a Formula One racing driver, and his former teammate, played by Javier Bardem, comes to get him to be in the second seat on his struggling Formula One team. So when your team is struggling, who do you get? a 63-year-old dude. Brad Pitts. Brad Pitts. And so it's ridiculous. It really is a huge commercial. It's genius in that sense that they get a chance to plug every beer and every big brand watch and all that sort of stuff.
14:41Mike Minogue:But it's Brad Pitt, man. Brad Pitt. Is Orlando Bloom in it or am I thinking of a done movie? No, that was another driving movie from a video game. Grand Turismo, yeah. So the first night we watched an hour. Last night we had an hour and a half to go. We watched it for two hours, and we got about 15 minutes into the final race of the season. Yeah. And I paused it and had a look. So my brother called me, and I had a look at how much time was left, and there was still another 35 minutes left. So somehow, I don't know, it says the running time is 2 hours 36. I think it's 4 and a half hours. Wow. It certainly feels like it.
15:19But I give it three stars. I recommend it because it's movie star. Brad Pitt has now entered Robert Redford's territory. He's just a big-ass movie star, and he gets to wander around being Brad Pitt.
15:33Mike Minogue:Which is pretty sweet. That's a recommend for me, and I wish I had seen it on the big screen because I would have watched it in one sitting instead of what is going to be three sittings. I still haven't finished it. And it would have been great on the big screen. The way it's shot is really cool. It's done by the guy that did Top Gun Maverick. Looks pretty amazing. I mean, I don't care about car racing. No. But, yeah, I like Brad Pitt, man. He has some cool clothes. There's cool clothes in it. Can I just say that was my favourite thing about it was the way it was shot. Right. Totally. The way that they got the cameras onto those cars is unbelievable.
16:03And that was by far, well, for me, the best thing about it. Yeah, for sure. Yeah. Yeah. And for me, Brad Pitt. So what, three busies out of five? I think you might as well watch it. You're not going to love it, but I don't think you're going to hate it. and it's big style Hollywood movie making stuff and I think there's some appeal in that. Yeah, right, okay. It could have been an hour shorter, 100%, but that would have been an hour less that they could have put more ads in for products.
16:29Mike Minogue:To be fair, Formula One have done it really well since taking it over from Bernie Ecclestein, who was kind of very old school and very much like, you know, this is for the wealth, this is a sport for the wealthy, blah, blah, blah, blah, and then Drive to Survive comes out, they very much open it up, they start sharing lots of cool clips on Twitter and you feel like you know all the drivers now and then they make a blockbuster movie and get Brad Pitt to hop back in the saddle. They're doing all the right things for me. They could have quite easily become an old-fashioned thing that nobody cared about anymore.
17:01Yeah, it's pretty cool to see the behind-the-scenes stuff in this film and how they do wind tunnels and all the things that go into it that you'd have no idea about. It is a hell of an investment that they're putting in. Yeah, nice. And it's also a hell of an investment that you'll be putting in with your time trying to get through this movie. But as I say, three buzzies.
17:21Mike Minogue:Three buzzies out of five. I watched Location, Location, Location. I loved it. UK, you know what I like about this that none of the New Zealand shows do? At the end of the show, they've got young couples. They've taken them to see three different houses each. At the end of the show, the host calls the real estate agent of the house and puts the offer in, and then they buy the house. every single New Zealand home based show they just sort of finish and go will they buy the house oh no see you next week yeah whereas they actually do the bartering and the deal and you see them buy the house right so something New Zealand shows should try to do more of absolutely leaving me bloody unsatisfied pugs hey coming up after five o 'clock an interview with Tom Sainsbury plus the next instalment of Mogie's top fives the Hauraki Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hauraki.
18:13Mike Minogue:Yes, it is the Hauraki Big Show for the 17th of December 2025, which is a Wednesday. And you're listening to the Hauraki Big Show, brought to you by Reburger. Serving good times and good food, dine in or take away Reburger today. And if I could just direct your attention to this next slide, you'll see that Reburger is serving both good times and good food, and that's whether or not you dine in or take away Reburger today. And if you just look at this next one, you'll see that it's yum! Certainly is yum, and of course Hoity J not here this week, fellas. He's officially already on holiday. He is.
18:54Mike Minogue:Played golf with him today. He was in good spirits. It's great. I'm thrilled for him. Absolutely thrilled. Is he having a good holiday, man? Are you frowning? Nah, apparently... He was a bit uptight last night because he did a post on Instagram about his soup in his cheese toasty, and you said to him something really nice. It looks yum, man. And he was like, shut up, Keezy, man. Well, I can tell the story if you want. But that was pretty much the gist of it. He spent most of yesterday apparently making tomato soup. Right. And then put a photo on the Instagram. That looked like pumpkin soup. It did look like pumpkin soup.
Read the full transcript
19:31Mike Minogue:Would have taken him three hours to make the soup and four hours to upload the photo. I commented saying, glad to see you're making the most of your holiday. and he said wow this isn't the only thing I've been doing you know I'm waiting for my wife and my daughter to be on holidays and I was just I'm actually just joking around just go back to work man can I also say I replied to his story as well and I said can you please tag at Horeki Big Show on Insta when you post these just because the people want to see the gold that you're putting up and he said are you taking the piss Pugs on yeah man which I wasn't yeah you were nah you're always taking the piss that's your name he's probably stoned which would explain the paranoia You know, thinks everybody's attacking him from all sides.
20:11Mike Minogue:Yeah, yeah, yeah. Right, and spent an entire day making soup. Hey, coming up next, Mogi's top fives. Today we're going for the top five podcasts you've listened to of 2025. Yes. These are pretty much just podcasts that I always listen to. Yeah. Okay. So if it comes out, I listen to it. Do you know what I mean? Just your go-tos.
21:20Yeah, my absolute go-tos. Because I'm a pretty heavy podcast consumer. and so yeah I get through a lot but there's a lot that I listen to every single day Honourable mention here well Bill Burr I used to be a huge fan of Bill Burr the Monday Morning Podcast but he's recently got over his anger issues so he's not as he's sort of sorted out his childhood trauma so he's not as funny and angry as he used to be anymore so I'm losing interest there
21:49Mike Minogue:because he used to listen to that on iHeartRadio look I've been listening to that podcast for over 20 Almost 20 years. So, yeah, iHeartRadio, yeah. It's day one. Day one. I'm a day one-er. Coming in at number five is the BYC. Oh, wow. The BYC, formerly hosted by Jason Hoyt. All right. And now hosted by Lane, Dylan Cleaver, an old mate there, Paul Ford. Just about cricket. I love a bit of cricket chat. ACC podcast, we should say. ACC podcast. Half an hour it is. It comes out weekly, and they sort of moan about what's going on in cricket. so I love listening to them moan. Coming in at number four, What a Lad.
22:29It's a sports podcast. James Marshall? James Marshall, yep. He's assistant coach at the Crusaders. He used to play for Wellington. 90-minute chats with huge rugby union players primarily and then other sports people. That's on iHeartRadio.
22:47Mike Minogue:Yeah, yeah, yeah. Actually, I remember listening to his yarn with Charlie Gubb. Oh, Charlie Gubb back in the day. One of the most hilarious conversations I have ever heard. I still remember where I was. I was in Bunnings listening to that podcast with my headphones on, just crying, laughing. I just remember being stood in the aisle at Bunnings just dying laughing, which is weird. I don't remember always watching any other podcasts. Number three, it's a rugby league podcast. It's This Warrior's Life tied with Mad Monday. Oh, wow. Because I love my rugby league. Kesey, this is one of yours. You do Mad Monday.
23:21but this Warrior's Life and yours. It's my Warriors content every week when the season is on. Obviously doesn't exist during the year outside of that.
23:30Mike Minogue:That's right. And I'd say this Warrior's Life, those boys we've met quite a few times, lovely fellas, do a good job, really get into the nitty-gritty. Yeah. Whereas Mad Monday with myself, Mania Stewart, Dye Henwood and Ben Hurley, we kind of get dyes very much in the nitty-gritty. But we like to kind of take the piss away a bit and be a bit more laid back with it. That's right. This one you've got, you know, this warrior's life, it's Will and Brad and Fonz. One of them's a sports reporter. One of them's an Australian and really knows his stuff. And the other guy's just an absolute mongrel like me who knows nothing.
24:04Great. But it's nice hearing him voice his opinion. It makes me feel smart.
24:07Mike Minogue:Well, you've got to have one of those people in the room, right, asking the questions you're thinking of. You do. Yeah, absolutely do. Coming in at number two is the Agenda podcast. Oh, wow, the ACC again. Every single day I listen to that. That's great. And I'm actually not happy this week because they haven't been doing one and there was no chat about them not doing one. I think they have been doing one. They might have done one today. Yes. But there's been a lot of caravan podcasts coming out from there to fill the gap, which is bullshit. You fuming? It's not on. It's a free podcast. I need it every single day.
24:34Mike Minogue:Well, that's the weird thing, right, with podcasts and radio shows too, I guess, is you get very used to your routines. I've got my habits. Listening to certain things. And as soon as that's not there or things are different, for example, ODJ's not there randomly. That's right. It can mix up your flow for the day. Yeah, fuming. I get it. And coming in at number one, I've just listened to this one, and this is different in the sense that it's a seasonal one. It's called Kelly Tarleton's Final Treasure Hunt. Kelly Tarleton obviously did Kelly Tarleton's aquarium. Very interesting thing there. He put everything on the line.
25:04So he mortgaged his house to build that. He was the first person in the world to come up with that idea of having a glass tunnel with a travelator underwater so that you could feel like you were going scuba diving without going scuba diving. So he wanted to bring that to the people. Right. So he knew that he'd be all good if they could have 100 ,000 visitors in their first 12 months. Yeah. They managed to knock that off in about four months, three or four months. Wow. And he was there to shake the hand of that 100 ,000th customer. And from that point on, he knew he was going to be fine. He knew he'd be able to buy his family a new house, all that sort of thing.
25:40He was 47 years old. He went to bed that night, and he didn't wake up. He had a heart attack in his sleep. Oh, my God. After the four months were done. That day he shook the person's hand. What? Went to bed, didn't wake up. Prior to that, he made his money from treasure hunts. He would go out, find old shipwrecks, and use their logs to track where they sunk, and we'd get people to pay him to go and do these diving expeditions. Absolutely fascinating stuff. I didn't know anything about the bloke at all. It is brilliant. Give that a listen. A great New Zealander that you don't really know much about.
26:15You just think it's some overpriced aquarium, but it's so much more than that.
26:19Mike Minogue:100%, yeah. Nice, Mogey. Far out. Because he used to hang out, he used to go diving with Bob Rainbow's End.
26:28Mike Minogue:Fellas. What was the name of that podcast, though, Mogey? Kelly Tarleton's Final Treasure Hunt. Nice, check it out. And we listened to all those on iHeartRadio, of course. I think Sha was also on that expedition. Sha? Yeah, shut up. Good on, pugs. The Hauraki Big Show with Jace, Mike and Keezy. Tune in weekdays at four on Radio Hauraki. Collective Soul on the Hauraki Big Show. It is Wednesday afternoon, 27 minutes past five o 'clock. We've got Tom Sainsbury, a chat with him coming up shortly. Phil Disclosure, I came in early today to have a yarn to Tom Sainsbury. He's on a tight schedule there.
27:06And I wanted to sit it out because he's got this new TV show, doesn't he? Yeah. Small town scandal. and I've been a huge advocate for that podcast. He makes a TV show and does he cast Old Mo again? Nah. Oh. No, he doesn't. So you can talk to him, man.
27:26Mike Minogue:Yeah, okay. All right. I'll talk to him. You talk to him. I can ask a question on your behalf if you want. Nah, I'm not good, man. All right. Well, I'll tell you what. I know what you do like, okay, just to cheer you up. Yeah. The Horaki Big Show from like three years ago. Oh. This is the best of the Big Show moment. And Pug-san, what have you got for us, fella? Fella? Fella. Fellas? This is about some marital issues you were having. My wife. Nonstop. That person on the text machine is going to be stoked that we chucked into my wife. But this next bit is basically you having a really rough sleep and your wife really not respecting your wishes.
27:59What? That sounds terrible. You were saying off air how absolutely filthy you were with your fiancé this morning. Wow. How, like, you were so filthy, you were almost close to calling off the engagement.
28:13Mike Minogue:I mean, what I did was just a small anecdote about our sleeping situation. Oh, no. It didn't really bother me. Which is ending in tears. I've never seen you see thing like that before. Well, I feel like you're massively blowing it out of proportion. And then you threw the glass against the wall there and just shattered the glass. Yeah. People were looking in from the office. That was angry, man. You were shouting so loud that people in the office were looking out and seeing what the hell was going on because they could hear you through the soundproof glass. Yeah. They were scarpering. Is that what they were doing?
28:43It was like Godzilla was coming to town or something like that. I've never seen that side of you, Kesey. And I've got to say, I don't like it. No.
28:50Mike Minogue:Right. I didn't feel safe. I didn't feel safe. Yeah. Well, how about I'll tell the story and then people can make up their mind as to how angry I was. No, I think that's enough.
29:02Mike Minogue:So, had a bad sleep last night, right? which you guys can relate to. You guys always have bad sleeps. Never had a bad sleep in my life. No, I'm sleeping like an absolute rock at the moment. Oh, yeah, okay. Basically, terrible sleep. Couldn't go to sleep. So like 2 a.m., I just messaged my fiancée's phone. She'll read it in the morning, just saying, hey, in the morning, let me sleep in a bit. Sorry, say that again. You messaged your partner at 2 a.m. in the morning. Yeah, because her phone's on. Where were you out of the strippers or something? No, I was lying next to her. Oh, just got home from the strippers.
29:30Mike Minogue:Lying next to her, so I messaged her. I know she'll read it in the morning. Morning. Hey, don't wake me up in the morning. I'm going to try and sleep in for an extra half now. Is that the tone that it had? Yep. So just hold it there. Hold it there for a second, Keezy. Why? So Keezy couldn't sleep. And at 2am in the morning goes, I'm going to message my partner to tell her that I'm not sleeping very well and not to wake me in the morning. So there he goes. Yep. I don't have the dial tones on. No, I don't. sends the text next to his lovely fiance's head. Ba-ding! No, it's her phone is on do not disturb.
30:11Blurry, blurry-eyed going, oh, God, it's Casey! Yeah, she says that. Who's lying right next to her. She calls me Casey as well.
30:20Mike Minogue:All right, carry on with this story. So I message her, right, and then it's like, okay. And then so I finally get off to sleep. She wakes up in the morning, reads the text, obviously goes, oh, fair enough. So she doesn't open the curtains like she usually would, blah, blah, blah. She sneaks out just before she's about to go to work. So you said that you could hear her tiptoeing across the room and she was sobbing because she was so scared about waking you up. I didn't. So she tiptoes out of the room and she gets ready for work. Just as she's about to leave, stomps back in the bedroom, opens the door in a very loud manner.
30:49How do you loudly open a door? She managed it. You see, my teenager, she's a shocker. I don't know how you do it.
30:56Mike Minogue:And then opens the door, comes over, stomp, stomp, stomp, little kiss on the cheek, have a good day. love you, stomp, stomp, stomp, back out the room, slams the door again. So it was a lovely gesture, but I had specifically asked not to be woken up. Yeah. She stomps in, wakes me up, tells me she loves me. What's that about? You know what I mean? Well, I know what I'd do. What? I'd call it, man. It's all over. Yeah, yeah. You cannot have that. You have specifically told her you do not want to be woken up. What does she do? She wakes you up to do what? Tell you she loves you. I mean, that is worthless.
31:31garbage. And I was going to say, you didn't actually finish the story that you were telling us.
31:37Mike Minogue:Oh, didn't I? I felt like I did. Because you said, oh, well, Pornhub it is then. No.
31:45Mike Minogue:What a terrible, terrible radio show that is. Shocking. Was that our show? That was gold, man. That doesn't sound like the big show. That's what the people want. God, it's weird to think that every show we've ever done is available to listen back to. You can literally go back to our first ever show. Is that on iHeartRadio? Yeah, or wherever you get your potties from. Oh, yeah. But preferably on radio. Every single one we've ever done is there, which is a scary thought. Hey, coming up next, though, Tom Sainsbury chatting about his new TV show, Small Town Scandal. The Hauraki Big Show, weekdays from four on Radio Hauraki.
32:17Mike Minogue:It is the Hauraki Big Show, Wednesday afternoon with Keezy Mogi and Pugsana, and also fellas joining us in the studio, a very special guest, beloved New Zealand comedian Tom Sainsbury. Welcome. Hello. Hello, hello, and hello, listeners. Do you feel beloved in New Zealand, Tom? That's such a good word, the beloved one. I do, actually, you know. I do. Whether I'm deserving of it or not, you know, that's another question, but I do. I'm sensing imposter syndrome, Tom. How long have you been feeling like this? Probably my, you know, do we want to get into it? So, you know, when I was six years old, I know.
32:50Mike Minogue:Maybe if we had a longer interview, Tom. I do understand that you're in here because your Small Town Scandal podcast has been turned into a TV show. And if I'm right in saying, the podcast actually won some awards and did quite well last year, was it? It was last year, yeah. So it won podcast of the year and comedy podcast, I believe. Was that crazy for you? It was crazy. Yeah. Also, I wasn't here for it. I wasn't here to receive the award. So the whole thing was just this abstract kind of vibe. Right. That my producer had to kind of collect it. But yeah, it's incredible. Because have you, I'm not familiar with your podcast background.
33:27Mike Minogue:Was that your first kind of full-blown podcast that you've been a part of? Yes, it was my very first one. So I've done so many, you know, guests on interview ones. And the producer, the wonderful Sam Collins, was like, pitch me your podcast ideas. Yeah. He thought I was going to do like either a comedy one or like a chatty one. And I was like, wait, I've got this idea. I can't even remember that time, that time of yesteryear, pitching this idea where I was going to do a parody podcast, True Crime podcast where I'm playing all 40 characters. That is a different person. Right, okay. But I pitched it and he said, let's do it.
33:58And then it happened.
33:59Mike Minogue:Yeah, because, and how does it feel? Like, obviously, Pugs and I and Moggy as well, we work our asses off on radio and slog away with the podcast. We haven't really got many awards. And then you've sort of just come in, half-ass pitched it, waltzed on, waltzed on. You did waltz in too, I saw it. I did. It was more of a foxtrot actually. Didn't even accept the awards. Didn't accept the award, doesn't care. I did a grapevine in. Right, okay. Accepted the award. How do I feel about that? Look, my imposter, you know, I'm suffering from imposter syndrome, so that's kind of taken over. So don't think I'm smug in any way.
34:33Mike Minogue:Right, okay. I can't imagine you being smug, actually, to be fair. Whenever I get smug, it happens occasionally, something comes along, the universe just throws something at me. Yeah, right, okay, boom. But your podcast has now been turned into a TV show, thanks to Sky Originals, New Zealand On Air as well. is it the same story of the podcast or have you tweaked it? It's been tweaked by necessity and also, yes, it's been tweaked, so it's a little bit more surprising for everyone that's listened to the podcast. So you don't know it all. The highlights are from there too, and we've got a whole new cast as well.
35:08Mike Minogue:Yeah, right. Okay. And did you stick with the 40 characters? Because that is a lot of characters to do voices of, but it's even harder to act and remember their mannerisms and all that stuff. So we've got a cast of other people, so I'm just playing the lead in the TV show. We talked about it, but it would just be a logistical nightmare of having the whole crew sitting around while I get my prosthetics and my wig on. Yeah, exactly. So we're like, let's just get someone else to play those roles. Right, that's probably a good idea, because I was picturing you trying to have to play 40 different characters.
35:39The Nutty Professor. The Nutty Professor. Yeah.
35:41Mike Minogue:And Eddie Murphy, he's obviously the goat of playing different characters, but he only plays a maximum of six. He does. But he does do dinner scenes with everyone in it. Yeah, exactly, which is just cutting-edge film. We'll be back with more Tom Sainsbury after some Guns Mmm Roses. The Hauraki Big Show, weekdays from 4 on Radio Hauraki. Guns Mmm Roses on the Hauraki Big Show. It is Wednesday afternoon, the 17th of December, 2025, and earlier today I came in a little early to have a chat with beloved comedian Tom Sainsbury, who's got his podcast, which is Small Town Scandal, and it has been turned into a TV show.
36:24Mike Minogue:We now continue that fantastic chat right now. Tom Sainsbury, what's next for Tom Sainsbury? So 2020, good question. Next year, 2026, it's all about me and a microphone all over Australia and New Zealand and the UK, so lots of live touring. Right, UK as well. You've been to the UK before and done that? I've been to the UK, but I've never performed there. Wow. How does that feel? Because certainly for me personally, the UK in comedy is like the mecca of comedy. Is that the same for you? Absolutely. You caught it. Terrified? Look, we're keeping out. So I've got someone taking care of it, but we're keeping, you know, it's 90 seat, 120 seat venues.
37:05So we'll keep it. But also when you've got an online presence, you can work out how many people are kind of watching where people live and then you take all the information and you sell it to big pharmaceutical companies and you make a whole lot of money out of that.
37:19Mike Minogue:So you make most of your money in sort of selling people's data. But you can work out who lives in the UK and you can kind of target them. Yeah, right. And so do you have quite a UK following then? Because I've seen the breakdown of my videos. It'd be like, oh, 30 people watched it, 12 of them were in Australia. Yeah. You can, but you don't know. I imagine that three-quarters of them are just expat Kiwis. Yeah, right, okay. So you'd be leaning into the expat community a wee bit? I think so. Yeah, right. Tom Sainsbury, Mike Minogue, you worked with him in the past on Wellington Paranormal. He does.
37:50Mike Minogue:He can't be with us presently, but he did write me a question to ask you. Yes. Tom, when it comes to the podcast, did you find it easier to play 40 different characters because you're so two-faced in real life?
38:08I want to say, yeah. Yeah, right. First of all, good question. He knows me, man. He knows me. He knows me so well. And the answer is, sadly, yes.
38:18Mike Minogue:Yes. Are you going to do another season of the podcast? Looking back at how much work it was to do all the voices and stuff? I am definitely gunning. There's a really good idea of golf for the fourth season. Yeah, right. Yeah, so hopefully. Yeah, right. Okay. And is it like obviously, because I know you've had different people working on it. Adam Pomana, who works for the ACC for a while, he's now left, you know, it was quite an editing juggle, like in terms of production. 100%. So I just come in and record the voices, and then the sound engineer has to kind of take every single, because I just do a character at a time, so they have to kind of cut out every little bit of dialogue and put it together and put all the bells and whistles on it.
39:01That is massive. Adam, genius.
39:03Mike Minogue:Yeah, he did a bloody good job there. Once again, Tom Sainsbury's new show, Small Town Scandal. It's officially debuting on TV screens across New Zealand, thanks to Sky New Zealand Originals. It's going to premiere on Neon, Sky Comedy on Monday the 9th of February at 8.30pm. Anything else you'd like to say before people watch it there, Tom? You can also listen to the three seasons of the podcast on iHeartRadio. Boom, that's how you do it. Tom Sainsbury, thank you so much for joining us on The Hauraki Big Show. Thank you for having me. The Hauraki Big Show with Jace, Mike and Keezy. Tune in weekdays at 4 on Radio Hodaki.
39:39Mike Minogue:That's right. It is the Hodaki Big Show for Wednesday, December 17th, 2025. It's almost Christmas. What? Fellas. Tennis. It is. Yeah, good stuff. Hey, the Big Show is brought to you by Rebig Gear. Crave-worthy street food. Freshly made with Rebig Gear. Wham, wham, wham. What's your emergency? I'm sorry. I really need help. I just think it's really important that everyone knows. just how delicious Ree Burger is because obviously their stuff's handcrafted and they do these loaded fries and gourmet. I just know that people know that they're changing the game because it's so... Yeah! I mean, we've touched on it before, Moggy, but that is a waste of police time and resources.
40:25Mike Minogue:Yeah. Calling them to tell them about Ree Burger, but I get it. I disagree. You think that's all G? Oh, 100%, man. Are you kidding me? It's Ree Burger, man. It's crave-worthy street food. And I think of all people, that should be trying to get it out there as much as possible. It should be you two. Who's mentally unhinged there, Pugs. Can I put it to you that way, man? When it comes to Reburger, call me nuts. Okay, nuts. Nuts, Jokey D's nuts. Pugs, I mean, Mogey and Pugs, do you guys reckon you'll get some Reburger over the summer holidays, man? No. What? No, I'm watching how much joy I give myself over this break.
41:02Oh, right. Yeah, no drinking, no darts, no Reburger. Right, what about working on your laptop? I'll be working on my laptop, yeah. That brings some joy, sir. Oh, I see. Well, no, that's too joyful. Ah. Yeah, so, yeah, looking forward to that. You guys, are you going to be ripping into the Reburger?
41:20Mike Minogue:Well, as you guys know already, every year on Christmas Day, my family sits down and indulges in a sort of Last Supper-style set-up of Reburger. Yes. We spread it all out on the table there, and we sort of sit it all in a line and just eat Reburger. Yes. And just discuss the fact that it is crave-worthy street food and it's freshly made. So we've been doing that for about 10 years now. Wow, 10 years. Yeah, yeah. That's hard to believe. It's weird. Yeah. Yeah. Which is crazy because Reburger's only been around for like three. That's right. Guys, this Queen's of the Stone Age? Yeah. Oh, man, I bet they love Reburger.
41:56Mike Minogue:The Hauraki Big Show. Weekdays from four on Radio Hauraki. Powderfinger on the Haraki Big Show. Wednesday evening with Keezy Mogey and old Pugsan over there. And it's time for Mogey's Top Fives.
42:10Mike Minogue:Today's Top Five is the Top Five Podcasts we listened to in 2025. We've already had Mogey's. If you want to hear it, listen to the Big Show podcast, which comes out at 7.30 tonight. It's time for Pugsan and myself. I'll go first, Pugsan. Okay. The number five podcast I listened to this year, Bloke in a Bar. Oh, yeah. It's four hours of rugby league chat post at the end of every week. Yep. Dean and Kemp over there in Aussie, a whole lot of good analysts and stuff, just fellas like us, rugby league tragics. And you can always find the game you want to hear about. They timestamp them, and you can just listen to 20 minutes of chat on that.
42:45Mike Minogue:It's really good. I like that one as well, Kesey. Thanks, man. I was listening to it yesterday. Dean and Kemp knows nothing about cricket. He admits he knows nothing about cricket. You should hear him babble on about cricket like he knows something. Really? Really shocking, man. Let's just talk about rugby league. So full on. Very funny. Next up, number four, Mad Monday. Yeah. Oh, sack. ACC podcast that I work for. Self-sourcer. Self-sourcer. Don't actually... Absolutely covered in your own sauce, Casey. Don't actually listen to it. Just thought this was a nice opportunity to plug some of the podcasts I'm available.
43:17Mike Minogue:Because I don't listen to any podcasts. Other than Bloke in a Bar. Yes. And my number one. Yes. Those are the only podcasts I listen to. Next up, Horaki Big Show. How good is it? What is that, number three? Number three. Horaki Big Show, love it. That's all right. I actually do listen to it on occasion, just that outro-y bit, because I can't generally remember what we talked about. Yeah, right. Sound all good? Look, I'm a huge fan. Very, very good. Wait till you meet Pugs, though. I mean, I've got notes. Yeah, okay. Coming in at number two, Extremely Casual Gamers. ECG. which is literally a video game podcast that I host that won New Zealand's Best Entertainment Podcast Award recently.
43:59Yeah, at the New Zealand Podcast Awards. Which is pretty cool. It's pretty amazing.
44:03Mike Minogue:I listen to that on iHeartRadio. So good. Do you actually listen to it? No, I don't. Yeah, good. No, sometimes I do if I have to sort of catch up on what we talked about last time. Ah, yeah, yeah. But check it out if you like video games. My number one podcast I listen to this year, I listen to it on iHeartRadio. It's just the Hamish and Andy podcast. Ah, yeah. Oh, okay. From over in Australia. they're just radio icons that I've listened to for years and years and years. One of the reasons I got into radio. Yes. And I like a lot of their philosophies in radio. And they just do a really entertaining weekly podcast.
44:30Mike Minogue:They know how to do it. They just know how to do it. They're an institution at this point, those two. 100%. Love them to bits. Nice, man. Hey, do you want to hear mine? Here we go. Bang out the gate, number five. Extremely casual gamers. Really? With old Keezy. I don't listen to many podcasts. Good on you, mate. I love this one and I listen to it on iHeartRadio. I've been on it a couple of times. I've been lucky enough to join the fellas. and Follett there. And yeah, really love it. Love gaming, love the chat and also your guys' dynamic. It's great. Thanks, mate. Number four, Haraki Big Show. Oh, wow.
44:58I produced that podcast, guys. And you can see that on iHeartRadio. I listen to it back sometimes if we've had a really funny chat that day. Also just like to check in sometimes on how it's sounding. I work really hard on the consistency and stuff, so it's nice to check in with it.
45:12Mike Minogue:Pugs, you're a perfectionist, mate. Mr. Consistency. Try to, try to. Since you've come aboard, the perfection of our podcast is next level. Everything sounds great. The content's a bit off. The content's a bit off, but the way it's all put together is excellent. Thank you. Heading into number three now, the RNZ Morning Report. Really? Wow, here he is. I love getting my news from a trusted source such as that, and they do really good bite-sized catch-up podcasts, and they also do an Essentials Report, which is just like everything. I listen to that on IR Radio, obviously. Random. But it's just a good way for me to keep in touch with the world.
45:47I mean, they might not be your trusted news source, but they're certainly mine. Good on you, mate.
45:52Mike Minogue:Any other competing radio station podcasts you want to plug? What's that? Just the big show. I just listen on iHeartRadio. Yeah, good on you, mate. And number two is All the Right Movies. They're the guys that did that Fellowship of the Ring podcast. Oh, really? It's just basically five massive movie nerds, just a bunch of mates, and they all sound really British, and they all sound like they've been friends for a billion years. They sound like they've gone from a bar talking about films and found a podcast studio, and they research the shit out of every movie they do. They go from an hour to two and a half hours and I've learned a lot about movies and filmmaking from that podcast.
46:26I'm going to look that one up, man. All the right movies. Play on word there. Play on word there, Pugsun. Do you get that, man? What's that? All the right moves. Do you guys want to hear my number one? We're out of time.
46:37Mike Minogue:No, you go on, Pugsun. You guys won't know it. It's Brooke and Conor Maker Podcast. I've just been listening to them for years now. They're two mates that just started. They had a good dynamic and some other podcast guys put them together in a studio and now it's like listening to two of your mates. Contagious laughter is my favourite thing about listening. If you can make me laugh with your laughter, I'll get around it. Kiwis? No. British? LA based. LA? Yeah, yeah. Really, really good. They've got that humour of like, you know, they don't pretend to know anything about anything and yeah. What's it called again, man?
47:08The number one? Yeah. Brooke and Connor make a podcast. I'm going to look at that right now, man. I'm going to review that. I'm probably on Friday at some point. Okay. Yeah, yeah, nice. Brooklyn Corner. And now they're getting in jokes and stuff. It's really good.
47:19Mike Minogue:Cool. Thanks, guys. All of our number one podcasts are The Hauraki Big Show, and we listen to them all on iHeartRadio, which is really great. We love it. The Hauraki Big Show, weekdays from four on Radio Hauraki. It is The Hauraki Big Show, a tune there from the Butthole Surfers. So good. Great album, that one, if you haven't heard it. Really? Yeah, really good. You're a fan of Butthole? Electric Larry Land. Right. What era are they from? 90s. And were you around when they started up? I don't know if I was around when they started up, But when their seminal album came out, which was that one, I was definitely around, which one would have been 93, 94.
47:52But after that, nobody listened to them again.
47:54Mike Minogue:So their seminal butthole surfer album. Their seminal butthole. That's right, Key Z. I'm asking. Is that? You go. No, I was sorry. I was just going to ask what the reception was to that band name coming into the world. You know what I mean? I don't know if I was around for when it first. I mean, obviously, everyone thought it was pretty funny. They came out in 1981. Oh, wow. There you go. That's ages ago. They've been around for a long while. Jeez. Yeah, electric. Yeah, it was a good album. Good bloody album. Tell you what. I doubt they retired on it. Little bonus deep dive into the butthole surfers there.
48:28Mike Minogue:But right now we're going to pivot and do a best of the big show moment. Hey, Pugsun, what have you got for us today, buddy? Yeah, what have you got, man? Oh, man. Pugs. Pugsie. Who, me? Pugsun. Guys, I'm keeping in the spirit of the time of year here, the festive season. And this is hoody jizzbot, you know, because we miss him so much. Good to get a bit of jizzbot in there. A little bit of the jizz. And he wrote a Christmas poem. As I was saying, I was sick as a dog last night, pounding headaches, sore throat, feverish, numb from the waist down. Shat pants. I'd shat my pants, dribbling all over the place.
49:03And often when I get into that state, Minogio, I find it a very creative state to actually be in. And it brings out the best in me. because it's like I'm in so much pain and agony. The Hauraki Big Show with Jase, Mike and Kesey. Tune in weekdays at four on Radio Hauraki. Can I just interrupt you, Jase? Yeah, sure. It's a heightened state. Yeah, it's heightened state. And it feels like you're closer to the artistic plane. Yes. It's a delirium. Yes, thank you. It's like when I wrote that poem, In Kubla Khan, one of the famous poems. but I'd like to share that with you if I might. Share what poem?
49:46The poem that I wrote last night. Are you listening, Keezy? He's tuned out. Last Christmas I gave you my heart.
49:56Mike Minogue:Ah, Christmas poem. But the very next day you gave it away. This year to save me from tears, I'll give it to someone special. Last Christmas I gave you my heart, but the very next day you gave it away. You've already read this one. Oh, that... Oh, yeah, God. See, this is... Start again. Well, that's the first verse. Once bitten and twice shy, I keep my distance, but you still catch my eye. That's nice. Tell me, baby, do you recognise me? Well, it's been a year. It doesn't surprise me. That is so nice. Happy Christmas. I wrapped it up. Can you guys shut up while I'm doing this, please? Yeah, I reckon, Kesey.
50:40Jeez.
50:40Mike Minogue:You're talking as well. Happy Christmas. Can we stop, please? Can you guys just shut up? Or I'll start again. Can you start again, man? Happy Christmas. I wrapped it up and sent it with a note saying, I love you. I meant it. Now I know what a fool I've been. But if you've kissed me now, I know you'd fool me again. Ooh. Ooh, ooh, baby. A crowded room, friends with tired eyes I'm hiding from you and your soul of ice My God, I thought you were someone to rely on Me? I guess I was your shoulder to cry on Yeah A face on a lover with a fire in his heart A man undercover, but you tore me apart Oh, oh now I've found real love you'll never fool me again.
51:40Oh, man. Wait. Oh. Ooh. Ooh, ooh. Baby. Man.
51:51Mike Minogue:That was really good, Jason. That's good. So that's sort of about, it's almost a tragedy, isn't it? I love tragedy. Sort of being in love and then it falling apart and then you get sort of bitter and twisted and horrible and then you're sort of a real bastard to them. Yeah. I think there was like a revenge passion there as well. Yeah. Hot. It's hot. What do you mean you think? I mean you wrote the poem. Yeah. Well, sometimes it's hard to decipher exactly what the lines mean, Keezy. But you wrote them. Yeah, but I mean they come from a poetic place. That's right. You're really just a lightning rod.
52:26It just passes through you. I'm a conduit, if you will. Thank you. Thank you. Because there's a bit in there about people wearing tie-dyes. Yeah, yeah. I like that. Yeah, thanks, man.
52:35Mike Minogue:How'd you come up with that bit. Yeah, you can catch more Best of the Big Show wherever you get your podcast from. Every show we've ever done. Yeah. Which is weird. And we'll be doing more and more Best Bits as the week goes on. Right, okay. Oh yeah, we're going to double up tomorrow. Yeah, I think so. There's going to be plenty on Friday. If you're looking for Best Bits, tune in Friday. It's going to be the best for breakfast and drive. Big Show ever. I wouldn't know. I'll be on annual leave. What are we going into here there, Pugs-san? Boo-ees. The Hauraki Big Show with Jace, Mike and Keezy.
53:06Mike Minogue:Tune in weekdays at four on Radio Hauraki.
53:16Mike Minogue:Well, that is the Hauraki Big Show done and dusted for Wednesday, the 17th of December, 2025. We've also got a bonus podcast outro, which we recorded before the show today. That comes out at 7.30pm. What is today's clip about, Pugsan? This clip, titled by Big Dilly, is called Chicken. Stuff everything really tight, couple of tees. I only need one pair of shorts, only need one pair of longs, and then like a rain jacket. I think it wouldn't hurt you to have two pairs of shorts. I only own two pairs of shorts. Is that right to you? I've literally got these ones I'm wearing now, and then my Patagonia swim ones.
53:54Mike Minogue:Will you save your check-in for just Connie's?
54:00Mike Minogue:I would laugh at that if I hadn't just said that I just want to do carry-on. Yeah, just so that you can just free up your check-in just for Connie's.
54:11Mike Minogue:So do you guys think I can get them over there? So that was Pug-san discussing he's going to a big Connie festival in Vietnam next year, and he's just wondering how to sort of run his bags. And we got to the bottom of it, eh, Pug-san? What's that? We got to the bottom of it, man. Pug's a stupid man. Thanks for the help, man, by the way. Yeah, no, I really appreciate the advice, just because I know you're so well-travelled, Keezy, and you're always going on about your travel. so I'm like, you know what I'll do? He is. I'll go to me old mate Keezy for some advice. I was actually shocked because there's a lot of advice coming from Keezy to the point where I actually thought Keezy had been to Vietnam.
54:44That's right. So I said, when did you go? And he said, I've never been. Yes. But I've done a lot of research. And in fact, you had because you knew the names of loops and shit.
54:52Mike Minogue:Different walks. Yeah, well, because I ended up going to Cambodia after doing research because of the difference in temperature at the certain time of year I wanted to go. It was going to be cold. Right. I planned a whole trip and then my wife was like, nah, too cold. Too cold. So then we went to Cambodia. I totally get behind that. But I really want to go to Vietnam. I've heard it's great from Jase. Yeah. And I hope the Connie Fest over there is good. I've heard it's buck wild. What are you up to tonight, Keezy? I'd probably be Googling the Connie Fest, man. What's it called again? Oh, you thought you were changing the subject there, Pugs.
55:21He's got you there.
55:23Mike Minogue:Viet Con. Viet Con. That's actually great. I am tonight eating lamb chops. I am tonight eating lamb chops. I am tonight eating lamb chops because we're at the point where we're leaving to go down south this weekend. So you're just working your way through the food. Yeah, I love it. And there is the shittest food available in the fridge, and I'm just making stuff. Lamb chops, good, man. Lamb chops with leftover old potatoes. Moggy, what are you doing? I'll be watching that Connie Festival docker. Oh, what's it called again? Viet Con. Oh, that's going to be great, man. Well, and that's the thing is you're taking your own Connies over there, aren't you?
55:59Yeah. So it's going to be Viet Con Air.
56:03Mike Minogue:Vietcon Air See it's good Do you like that man? I think we could do Half a dozen breaks On that on Friday Save it for brekkie man Because I was thinking Of going to Harsh Long Bay Harsh Long Bay Okay now you're getting racist Alright see you tomorrow At four bye
